What you're about to hear is afirsthand account of an encounter sent to us
through our website at bigfoot classified dotcom or the squatch line at eight seven
eight squatch. That's eight seven eightseven seven eight two eight two four.
And now for the encounter. Myname's Mikhail. I'm a lot of the

(00:24):
story I have to share is aboutthe the almost, the almosty. This
happened in two thousand and one,so I was eight at the time.
Um. But what what happened justkind of I don't sweep next to windows
anymore because of it, even didthis day. UM, I will always

(00:47):
move by bed away from windows.UM. So it was me and my
parents. We we lived been areally small small village um in Siberia.
Um. Actual village name is calledthe rodolfka Um. And this was in

(01:07):
March. We were we were hikingup a trail in the woods and my
dad, I just remember, hestopped us. And keep in mind this
he was in the military for almosttwenty years. I think he spent four
years in the regular army and therest was in the um. In this

(01:32):
in this spetsmas. So he wasnot somebody who was easily intimidated but he
just kind of stopped us and justkind of instructed us to like start walking
backwards. And uh, and hewas just looking at something. I didn't

(01:53):
see what he was looking at atthe time, but he um, he
acted really really insecure. We endedup heading back home. I didn't see
anything, but I definitely could aswe were walking down the trail, I
could have like smell a weird kindof kind of smell it. Um.

(02:16):
The best way I can describe itis is kind of like a smoky,
kind of kind of kind of smell, like of like an old old fire
that had like burned out, butit was like that mixed with like rotten
food or some sort of garbage. It was really really pungent. Um.

(02:38):
I just remember smelling that as wewere walking by, walking down the trail,
and I could hear stuff kind ofmoving around in the brush. But
like I said, again, Ididn't I didn't end up seeing anything.
Uh. What it ended up happeninglater that night was the really spooky part.

(02:58):
So the way that our house wasset up was um. The area
where I slept was on like ina loft pretty much. Um because the
way most Russian houses and you know, out there because it gets so cold.
Is they set up like the beddingabove like in a house like chimney

(03:22):
area, said, I way,it like stays nice and like warm.
So sleeping up there in like thisloft area with a little tiny window um
above above my head that you know, would slide open and stuff. Um,
I always like sleeping air because Iliked the fresh air. But we
had a woodpile outside um alongside ofthe house. But this window was at

(03:47):
least you know, seven or eightfeet in the in the air. Um.
What I'm sorry, What ended uphappening was I was sleeping that night
after we got back, and Iguess something had slid open the window and

(04:21):
it reached down and it wrapped ontomy face and was attempting to pull me
out of the window. I remembertrying to scream, but it had its
hand bike around my jaw, thebottom of my jaw, so I couldn't

(04:43):
really scream, so it was muffled. Thank god, my dad woke up.
I don't remember a whole hell ofa lot that Night's really kind of
fuzzy for me, but I doremember my dad screaming, swearing, my

(05:04):
mom crying, and what I wassaying, was my my dad ran out
of the house and he I rememberhearing multiple gunshots he fired, um,
and then this this horrible noise.Um. It was it wasn't like anything

(05:25):
I had ever heard. It wasalmost like a bellow. UM. Trying
to trying to think of how toexplain it. It was kind of similar
to a way of a man wouldkind of roar, but it was it

(05:47):
was a lot a lot deeper, and it just had this echo to it.
UM. I don't I don't evenknow how to describe it. It
was. It's it was just veryvery strange, very large sounding. UM.

(06:09):
But whatever it was, it letgo and ran off. UM.
My dad will never tell me whatthat was. Um, he just will.
He just absolutely refuses to talk aboutthat night. And my mom the

(06:30):
same thing. They just they justabsolutely refused to talk about that incident at
all. UM. I kind ofgot a little bit out of my dad
when I got him, when Igot him drinking out my twenty first birthday.
UM, I got a little bitof details out of him. He
said that he wasn't exactly sure whatit was, but it was large,

(06:53):
covered in like a brownish hair.Um, but it was it was hair
that was like longer than it bearsand it was bipedal. Um. But
after after that, UM, himand probably about twenty other people got together

(07:16):
and they went out into the uh, into the woods and just kind of
like what. They were gone forthree or four days. Um. But
they came back and I don't knowif they ever found anything. None of
them would talk about it. Ah, But I to this day, I

(07:41):
have never encountered anything like that again. UM. But yeah, now,
and now I've lived in the USand it's uh, well it's less uh
le's interesting at night, UM.I mean the most will get woken up
by here. It's like a dogbarking or something. But yeah, I

(08:05):
uh yeah, that's my story.I'm sorry it took so long, but
hey, if you find it interesting, it'd be nice to hear. But
