Speaker 1 (00:00):
When your old career gives you lemons.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Throwing some ice, mix in some vodka.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
Color a podcast from the Mac of All Trade Studio
in Fairport and driven by Victor Chrysler dots Jee Brahm.
Speaker 2 (00:14):
It's Billified, The Bill Moran Podcast. Hello and welcome. Thank
you for getting your pot on. Thanks for telling a
(00:35):
friend so excited. Danny's here tonight. We're gonna get on. Uh.
Peter Montemerno talk a little bit about the Buffalo bills,
and we get week twelve picks from Juice. I thought
was okay last weekend, all right, so we'll see how
all that shakes out. And then I gotta tell you, dude,
(00:57):
I am. I'm the closest to burnt out I've ever been.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
And that's saying something for you.
Speaker 5 (01:03):
Yeah, I mean, I'm like, think about your life.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
I know, I wonder if it's like the adderall that's
making me like juiced up, and then I'm just like,
then you crash. My body's just like and I go, yeah,
I mean, I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. I'll just kind
of lay this out there. I think I'm gonna go
dark for most of the week because I just I
(01:26):
just need to reset, and we got a couple other
things happening, and I'm like, yeah, I think I gotta
just reset here.
Speaker 5 (01:35):
I think people are already starting to go dark, at
least in my neck of the woods. In my business. Yeah,
people are like punching out. Like the Thursday, the week
before Thanksgiving, they start punching out. Yeah, I'm getting ready
for Thanksgiving week out calls.
Speaker 4 (01:49):
I'm not doing nothing.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
Yeah, I mean i am. I'm supposed to. I am
going to go down to my moms and then I'm
supposed to go into the city and I'm gonna go
to they have like a party where you can watch
not really a party, but you can go watch them
inflate the balloons. If that'll be kind of cool. I'm
gonna be my brother. I think he's staying overnight and
staying for the parade. I want nothing to do with
(02:12):
the parade. Damien's not going down. I would have stayed
otherwise because that would have given you a kind of
cool access with which we know, right. Yeah, but he
doesn't go anymore, and I'm like, I don't want to
deal with all that shit. No, let's paying the ESSU.
So I will head back that night to Ryne back.
(02:32):
But yeah, I and then, like I was just starting
to tell you Saturday, I have like this. See, there
are certain aspects of this college life that I have
forgotten about. And I don't know that I had a
lot of these, but I know I had them more
my senior group projects. Group projects. Yes, I'm not a
(02:55):
group guy. I'm not am I I mean, I don't know,
and I no, well, I mean I don't mind, but
I want to collaborate. I don't want your ideas to
weigh my ship down.
Speaker 4 (03:05):
I know you have never been a collaborator.
Speaker 5 (03:08):
Well, I'm a collaborate not really, though, what do you
mean he was?
Speaker 4 (03:12):
You're well, no, there's nothing wrong with that.
Speaker 5 (03:13):
But you tend to believe that your idea is usually
the right idea. I call it my animal's razor. If
Billy thought of it, it's going to happen.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
But okay, well yeah, but that's not a very good
trait to have.
Speaker 5 (03:32):
It really is, when when you rise in business, when
you rise in life, you need to need to at
least understand what you don't know. Yes, you have to
know what you don't know and then find people who
can help you with those blind spots.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Yeah, thank you, Yes exactly. And I thought we I
thought you've gotten with this.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
Yeah, you're more a little more collaborative.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Uh. But we did the radio show. You and I
used to write shit together.
Speaker 5 (03:56):
We did, we did. I sent you a lot of
stuff and you turn and you'd punch up. But for
the most partly ninety percent of it was miranimal.
Speaker 2 (04:02):
I well, only because I needed to know what was
happening at all times, which, of course, in order to
keep that choke, because I you knew the roadmap, right,
and I wasn't going to be you know, you're you're
on the station that had the legend that left who's
still in the market and yeah, and so I felt
like I needed to be aware of every possible thing
(04:24):
that could happen, right and sort of control it and
that which is I don't know that that's good anyway.
I I'm not really a group I'm not really a
group project guy, and I don't know how this is
going to go. I have, So here's one for you.
I have. We had to go through an assessment and
(04:45):
you had to partner up. Well, guess who doesn't have
a bit? You don't nobody come nobody, Like like when
he said, work with nobody. Nobody, Like everybody sits at table.
I sit by myself towards the front of the room.
Speaker 4 (04:57):
That dude from the nineties seems cool.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
No nobody, And so I got, I got. There was
a it was like two odd people left me and
this and this young who she's not odd. I'm just saying, like,
you know, we were out. So she and I are
are have to do? You have to do a presentation
and it has to be fifty minutes long.
Speaker 5 (05:17):
You have Yeah, that's an episode of the Soprano.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Thank you. It's a fifty minute presentation and you got
to go through and it can be kind of boring.
It's an assess it's explaining a test that assesses something.
This young woman because I don't really give a shit,
I'm gonna learn stuff anyway. This young woman wants to
work with children. Okay, so she wanted to do the
child the child Depression Scale. Well, actually I have the book.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
So I don't get it wrong.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
For tomorrow, the Children's Depression Inventory, Okay, like an old book. Yeah,
so you got to go through and you have to
write everything from what does a test like this call lost?
How is the test administered. How is the test scored?
What are the normatives with it? What is the validity? Uh?
How do they test the validity? What do peer review
(06:10):
journals say about the test? Who did the test?
Speaker 5 (06:13):
In other words, in essence, is this test going to
help somebody diagnose or treat?
Speaker 2 (06:20):
You got to break it down, but it sounds like
you know a lot it is. So you got to
do that. And then you have to have an activity
for the entire class to participate in based around your presentation.
So some people did jeopardy. Uh. Some girls did mindful
(06:40):
eating and handed out pieces of something and walked you
through mindful eating. It was really actually quick. I mean
my first reactions is like, but I've done mindful eating.
I've done a lot of the mindful stuff.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
But I'm like, this is a mindfulating in a while.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
The fun I did today, I had a great piece
of piece of ye. But jameson, so the mindful eating, Uh,
so they do all these things.
Speaker 5 (07:05):
Jameson, where's the cold fish?
Speaker 2 (07:09):
I'm hug we go. We go into class last week
and the woman who instructs the class it comes in
from Buffalo and she's a huge Buffalo Bills fan. The
last time the bill's played on Thursday night. This season,
there was no class or we got out. I think wow,
(07:30):
I think we did fifty minutes of class.
Speaker 5 (07:31):
And the dresser was like, all right, game's out, we
gotta go.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
So she pulls us aside and says, will you guys
present on Zoom next week? And I go, oh, I
go sure. She goes, well, that way everybody could be
home or wherever they want to be to watch the game.
(07:54):
If it's fifty minutes long, if we start at seven,
we're out by seven to fifty or seven fifteen, and
we start by whatever, so we're out by eight o five,
and what time.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
Is the kickoff? Amazon?
Speaker 2 (08:09):
OK? So yes, Now Michaels and Kirk Kurbet will either,
So I say yes, and I but I'm like, I
don't know how to I've never done an online presentation.
I know I can, I'm sure I can figure it out,
but I'm like, I don't know. So this girl, so
everybody has slides, so she's put all the slides together
(08:31):
and then the teacher says, no one's done a kahoots.
I don't know what the I know what kohoots is,
but I don't know what cahoots is it's like a
game and everybody logs in and they get to see
the same game on their computer, and then it's a
game you created, so she's taking care of the game.
So she's doing that. So I wrote the ten page
paper on this stuff, and then we're supposed to present
(08:52):
this over Zoom and I'm like, well, I'll come here
to do it. I'll do it through this camera, I think,
because I've done something on zoom. But then I go,
it's gonna take me for a fucking ever to figure out.
I got to get from Fisher at like six forty
five to be here and ready to go by seven
to fifteen. I'm not sure that I can do this.
So we'll see on that part. But so all this shit,
(09:16):
I don't know how to present online. I'm that old guy.
I don't know any of this stuff. Then I've got
a group projects and they're coming in here on Saturday
afternoon and we have to do a whole discussion on
narrative therapy and what it is, and so I'm not
even sure how all that's gonna work. And most and
it's all women in me in this group, and they're
(09:38):
all young. I originally wanted to do it at like
ten thirty in the morning, get it out of the way,
because there's other things happening with this studio and I
need to get this shit done. I get a thing going, Hey,
I can't. I gotta work till two o'clock. There's nothing
I can do. Somebody says, fine, So we're gonna go
at like two thirty or three. I had said early
(10:00):
to try to incentify, incentify everybody to come at that
ten thirty time and said, I'll buy lunch. So there's
two people who shot a video that will that we
will put into our presentation and it will show them
doing narrative therapy and we will discuss the different aspects
(10:23):
of narrative therapy, the benefits, the blah blah blah ah,
this shit. Okay, okay, that's what we're gonna do. And
that has to be twenty minute video project plus a
plus an activity that's built off that. So so when
we present that one, so Danny, there's two this is
what happened yesterday. So two girls are not going to
(10:43):
be part of the podcast. They've shot that video and
we'll insert it in. I'll be doing all the editing
and stuff on this. So one of the girls says, well,
I'm really disappointed because I heard Bill was buying lunch.
And I go, well, I don't know if anybody wants
to Oh no, no, yeah, we'll go. We're done, we'll go.
So I go, okay, great, she goes, well, I want
(11:05):
the lunch. Can I come? So now I've got like
five women and me going to I don't know what
I'm thinking Mount Connery's, but I don't know. Okay, I
have no idea. And it's a mixed group, right of
personalities in this in the thing.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
So you're afraid you can't be yourself?
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Oh no, I definitely can't be myself because I a
little bit of me slipped out last night. Oh the
eye roll. The eye roll was so bad I practically
got blown out the fucking door. It was so there
was an eye roll. So we had we get these
(11:44):
vignettes and you had to read the vignette and then
as a group, so two groups on opposite sides of
the room had the same vignette. And then he needed
to get together and what you needed to do was
talk about therapies that would help this person in this scenario.
And then you would have to also say what their
(12:06):
theories would not be beneficial to this person. So we
go through and it's about a woman who it's like,
really paranoid about a relationship and she's just shows up
her boyfriend's work and you know, she's cool, and then
she gets really drunk and people are starting to distance
themselves from her and her friends, and her sister says
(12:27):
she's paranoid and somebody else won't answer her calls anymore,
and like her behavior is getting a little more erratic,
and it's starting to affect, you know, aspects of her life.
And I said, after reading, I go that, well, that's
borderline personality disorder. Somebody's like, well, I think it could
be bipolar. I said, we don't know, because bipolar has
specific criteria that you have to meet. You've got to
(12:47):
you've got to have it for like three weeks. You've
got to have these symptoms. And that's why when people
go on bipolar, I always go, maybe, but it's got
to be three consecutive weeks and then and then there's
different types. She could get bipolars two, which all you
have to have is in the same lifetime a schizophrenic
episode and something else, but whatever. So my group agrees,
(13:10):
we go through and we come up with our what
the what it's gonna help, how it's gonna work, what
the counselor's job is, blah blah. Then the two groups join,
so here comes and a lot of those people are
in this thing that'll be here on Saturday. And they go, well,
(13:30):
we were thinking this therapy and we agree on the therapy,
and then there's something intersection, and I said, look, there's
also anxiety and depression, which the therapy we chose to
really work on the big stuff. It doesn't necessarily benefit
so you may have to do a little of something else.
And somebody goes, well, what about reality therapy as that?
And I said, no, I go this. I go this
(13:52):
broad is crazy. You wanted to jump out a fucking window.
And they go whoa, whoa, whoa.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
That's when the animal come out.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Well, I mean, I'm just talking like I'm just talking.
Speaker 5 (14:05):
I'm going spitballing, We're just talking.
Speaker 2 (14:06):
Well, reality therapy is about it says no, it just
says you have control of your problems. This woman doesn't
have control of her problems. I don't even know that
she's voluntarily or almost involuntarily. She's so up in her head.
Do you understand what I'm saying? So if we go
all right, so you're showing up at your boyfriend the way? No,
well possibly, I have no idea. It's a vignette that
(14:29):
we were given. So she says, has a problem. But
you know what I mean. You're showing up in boyfriend's work.
People are Then you get drunk, your boyfriend doesn't like it.
You just kind of lose. You're losing it. It's unraveling
for you. I think if I went reality therapy, hey,
you have control of your behavior. I think you jump
out the fucking window and kill yourself because you can't
(14:51):
realize why are people distancing themselves from me?
Speaker 5 (14:54):
And maybe reality the self awareness holding.
Speaker 2 (14:56):
Up a mirror, but there's I think there's better, more
gentle ways to bring somebody in. So when I say
the word broad, oh, I have said broad and chicks,
and I've gotten more pushback than I ever have. My
and I it's just the way I talk. It's the
(15:18):
way we always talk. I know, but I do.
Speaker 5 (15:20):
I never used the word bra no until I work
with you and Tommy.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
Oh, well, the bron that was him. Yeah, bro. Now
it's brouh Bro, which is jameson Bro seriously, but whatever,
so so this is I.
Speaker 1 (15:36):
Still use that word.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
But broad yeah, me too, I did. I just shot
it out.
Speaker 5 (15:42):
I go, no, I work from home, Like I'll be
on the phone with like a coord who's a dude.
Speaker 4 (15:46):
I go, hey, what are we talking to this broad?
Speaker 2 (15:48):
Yeah? He does a badnya. But I guess it's a
really old school term. It's like because they because all
of a sudden, the nineteen hundred jokes just came flying
in my face. I was like, too, the one chick
sitting next to me who has no tallenge for any
of that stuff. I rolled so hard I was almost
honestly knocked out of my chair and rolled out the
(16:08):
fucking door. I went, oh my gosh. And so then
I had to stop, and they're all looking at me.
And then when I said, like, she's fucking crazy, they're like, whoa,
you can't say that, And I go, I'm not saying
it to her, I'm saying it to you. And I go,
and I will say that behind closed doors, because don't
tell me there's one therapist that's working with Somebody just goes, yeah,
(16:28):
they're batshit fucking crazy. Here's my approach, here's what I'm
gonna do, Here's how I'm gonna help them. Ye, I'm
never gonna say that to them, but I need to
be fully cognizant of what could potentially happen here with
this person, with whatever the diagnosis is. I really do.
I almost think for safety reasons, Yeah, it's okay, betsit crazy, Yes,
(16:48):
I'm not, you know, but we are supposed to unconditional empathy,
you know what I mean? Huh right, right, unconditions, unconditional regard, right,
you know, seriously, so when you're sitting with somebody, you're
right there with them. I that I okay, I'm fine.
Doesn't mean I'm a phony. Maybe I don't know. I
(17:09):
have no idea what the broad man? I said? Broad?
And I go, and these are the people that are
coming for lunch, and the one that wanted to tag
in for lunch it was really upset, and goes text
me the address of the restaurant is the one that
practically I rolled me out the door. So so I think,
and I go, why did I Why why did I
say this? Why did I say this? I'm gonna show up.
(17:31):
I don't know, it'll be fine. No, Why did I
say I'll buy lunch? That's what I'm thinking. Well, because
you like the old guy. And some of these people
are younger than my son's so yes, they're young. My
sons are twenty five and twenty three, about to be
twenty four. So some of these guys are these young
(17:52):
women are twenty two, twenty one, twenty three, So of
course I kind of feel like, come on out, I'll
get lunch, we'll make it.
Speaker 4 (17:59):
You know, I got Moran tude.
Speaker 2 (18:03):
I hope not. I hope not. No.
Speaker 5 (18:06):
Yeah, I mean, well, you're you're from a different not
just a different generation, a different line of work, a
different time, a different.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
I'm just different. I mean I'm just a little different.
Speaker 4 (18:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (18:16):
I mean I think people need if they're they're really empathetic,
then they should just you know. Uh, I mean you
know what you say, it's Gentlee Chentley sitting the stew
with you, and Gentley correct, well, but we don't have
to say it like that.
Speaker 2 (18:29):
No, remember who there's this one young woman who always
look at me, Go, you can't say it like that,
and I'll just look at her go, yeah you can.
I don't worry about it. This is the same class
that I did, the Eric Clafton and George George Harrison.
Speaker 4 (18:46):
Yeah, I'll put the stuff in front.
Speaker 2 (18:48):
Of it, because that's a class was doing. This is
the same class. I can't help. I don't know what
it is. It must be something that's your personality, who
you are, I know.
Speaker 5 (18:56):
But but here's the thing though, If you can't be
yourself in a mental health or a psych class, yeah,
which is where we sort all this stuff out, then
where can you be that way to learn these things?
Speaker 2 (19:08):
I do think that I think broad maybe maybe a
bit of a shocking term to some people.
Speaker 5 (19:15):
I don't know, but there are worse terms you could
call a woman than broad.
Speaker 2 (19:17):
Well see, okay, so the answer, so here's what came.
Speaker 4 (19:19):
Lad, I'm sorry, here's a.
Speaker 2 (19:21):
Pushback to me. Here's a pushback. And I don't know
that I had a great answer for it because I
think it was still somewhat to meaning. But she goes, yeah,
and what would you? You wouldn't say that to a man?
I go, No, When I see a man doing something
that I don't really agree with, I call him a bitch,
so I said, and I get so I think I
(19:43):
think there's a novelty.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
Like I've only used the C word to describe dudes.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
Yeah, well I don't even I like that way.
Speaker 4 (19:50):
And I haven't used it in years.
Speaker 2 (19:51):
But see I come from a different Yeah. I mean
it can be said with a lot of venom, oh
tremendous amount of venom, but the Irish brogue and even
as a kid, you know, oh yeah, fucking count ya. Hi,
it was like it didn't mean anything. It didn't mean anything.
Speaker 4 (20:11):
It's like saying, dude, yeah.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
I think that there's you know, certain things in certain
cultures are bad, but cultural awareness all this stuff. Anyway,
that was my uh, that's very big thing. So we'll see.
I almost want to video the entire the entire day
just to see out all that.
Speaker 4 (20:29):
Could be your presentation.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
Wow, I just want to tell you, want to like,
I'm curious now myself a little different environment. Well here's
something that I've sort of realized. I think there's a
curiosity about me because I don't think and I know
that sounds so if I say this, people go out there.
There's that ego because I got accused in one and
(20:50):
I'd love to go back and look at the tape
but I was the pain, like the the client, and
somebody else was the counselor. And I said something and
the question came to me phrased as well, how does
Bill really feel about that? And I said, Bill, because
I thought it was funny you asked me in third person,
(21:13):
I answered you in third person. The person comes into
review the session and kept going about, oh, Bill talks
about himself in third person Bill talk, And I'm like,
I didn't say anything. I just let it go. But
I'm like, I don't and I think what you were
trying to do there, too, is say Bill's distancing himself
from the pain. Listen to the verbiage, because there are
things that I have said in the past, like my
(21:37):
dad was shaking up a thing of medicine, wants cough
medicine for my brother or sister, and my mother had
put the cap on and it just sprayed up the
wall as he shook it because the cap was loose.
He got so pissed off he fucking slammed that thing down.
It bounced from the floor to the ceiling. Now you
got cough medicine everywhere. And what I said was you'd
laugh at that. Now I'd laugh at that, and they
(22:01):
were saying, that's a distancing thing from the pain that
you're doing by using that pronoun instead of I. I
think they were trying to attribute the same thing to this,
and I go, I didn't say anything. I'm like, she
asked it that way, and I hear everything, so I
was answering it that way. And then she said something
about women, and I go, ah, yeah, women, they didn't
find me irresistible as a joke that gets brought up
(22:24):
by the woman that comes and goes, whoa bill thinks
that I only fuck I goes. Anybody taking context into
this at all? Is there anything? It didn't matter, It
wasn't free, No one's gonna see it. It didn't matter
at all.
Speaker 5 (22:36):
Yeah, but that's a little disturbing that professionals can't apply context. Well,
it's almost like they're I don't want to use I
want to use the word autistic, but like seeing everything
like in black white.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
What they're seeing is a moment because they're trying to
they're trying to get a couple of minutes with you,
a couple of minutes with like five other things that
are happened at the same time, and give you feedback
and it's just one of them, and there's probably Honestly,
I think there were like four counseling sessions all at once,
or maybe five, and I think she heard she came
(23:07):
in and heard something, or she was listening to one,
and these were the ones that jumped out of the
page because nobody talks that way. And that's and but
I did. Okay, so you see what I'm saying. So
I just took it as I get this for this
not who I am, and that's not how I talk.
But I do think there's a weird curiosity about me
because I I.
Speaker 5 (23:25):
Because you are a non traditional, non traditional student. Here's
what I mean by that, Okay, like someone of your
age would be considering a non traditional student. Okay, but
here's the non traditional, non traditional bill. Okay, most people
who I went when I went to college, and there
was an adult in.
Speaker 2 (23:41):
The room, meaning somebody who was like you, Yes.
Speaker 5 (23:44):
Okay, they were diligently taking notes, They kept quiet, They
kind of were reserved, They didn't they they didn't have
much of a personality. It's like you could tell they
were trying to fulfill some obligation that they left unfulfilled
in life.
Speaker 4 (23:56):
Oh, okay.
Speaker 5 (23:57):
You know, they really didn't know what they were doing
with their degree, but they knew they had to get one.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
Uh huh.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (24:02):
You're on the other hand, like like treating it as
your own, your own experiment, like this is a new adventure. Yes,
you know, And most people don't have that personality that
matches it, that that becomes a non traditional student.
Speaker 4 (24:16):
They're just there to learn.
Speaker 5 (24:17):
You're coming from a completely you're coming from show business
and walking into college like literally.
Speaker 2 (24:21):
This could be a sitcomm Yeah, and you're the You're
the main character. The thing is like, but I so,
And then some of the people get really pissed off
because the people start talking like what did you get
on this? Right? And this one girl studies and studies
and study studies. And there's this other young guy. He's
in a band. He's probably in his early thirties, hangs
(24:42):
out of three heads. Brian is his name. He was,
he's in a band. He's the least singer of a band.
I'm forgetting the name of the band. And he didn't
tell me that. Somebody else did, Somebody outside of Jeff
Dale told me about it. So that guy like sets
his stuff up, you know, and he's showing these girls
through his way of study guys and all this, and
(25:04):
they look at me and go, well, what do you do?
And I said, oh, I'd go back through the slides
and the readings, and because you don't take notes from
you're in here, and I go, well, no, because I
remember this stuff and I don't need to. And then
when I go through, I may take notes on the
slides and refer back to that, but that's about it.
Well what did you get? And I go, I got
(25:25):
one hundred on the midterm. You've got to be kidding me.
I go, no, I want to see so I go, okay,
it's like pull it up. Then there's this other class
that is very tough and they say to this kid,
what did you get on the on the last exam?
And he goes on ninety two and they said, oh
(25:47):
my god, I got like a seventy something. But I
thought when she added in the matching, my grade was
going to go way up. And I ended up with
an eighty two. And the same person she looks at
me and goes, what'd you get? I go, noah, it's good.
I didn't do that well on this one. I got
an eighty nine point seventy three and then he goes, oh,
it's basically a ninety and I go yeah, And she's like,
how how is this possible? And I go because I
(26:08):
don't know if you think I'm an idiot because I
say things like that or whatever, but my head moves
all day. It's just and I there's a lot of
stuff I won't say because of that, but I absorb
this stuff and I like it. I like it. Yeah,
I don't know, but you're right. I am probably the
non traditional, non traditional you know.
Speaker 4 (26:27):
That's the whole thing.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
Well, I joke with the I joke with them, I
say stuff, you know.
Speaker 5 (26:32):
Most most non traditional students are reserved.
Speaker 2 (26:36):
Yeah. Well, I think everybody in the Master's program for
the most part is you know, older.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
They are, but not in their fifties.
Speaker 2 (26:45):
There's a couple, there's a few older than me, but
you're right, but they're not no, no, no, learn There's one
that's got a big personality and I don't know how
old she is. But the rest of them, you're right,
they're fairly quiet. I mean, they participate stuff. I think
that maybe because I'll sometimes talk so much in class
that starts to feel like, hey, I can't do It's
(27:05):
like we got way off there else one night and
it was kind of I'm wondering.
Speaker 5 (27:09):
If I have issues with my short term memory, because
you know how I take notes during Bill's games, I
have to go back and rewatch the game to remember
what happened.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
It goes so fast.
Speaker 5 (27:19):
I mean some people can like go back and recite
plays like I have to like go back and rewatch.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
I mean, and it's just I don't think that that
that's just a learning style. I don't think that has
anything to do with your short term memory. I really don't.
Because the game goes so quickly, right, and you may
miss things because you're focused on I mean, Josh missed
things in the game right right, So because you're watching
this or you think you see and then you got
to go back and go, oh my god, that guy
(27:45):
was wide open, but you didn't see it in the
moment because even the camera wasn't showing that. I don't know.
I do go back through these slides and things and presentations,
and I take my own notes. When I write something down,
it kind of commits to my memory. And don't forget
I've been doing this for a million years and most
(28:06):
of it, majority of it talk radio to where I
may not have known anything about the subject and found
out a ton about it and then came in and
just talked. But I had written everything out, had notes
that I don't try to look at and I just
and and so that helps me.
Speaker 5 (28:24):
So I was taking these new tropics like to help you.
And they didn't do it. They didn't die anything. They
just just I don't think they work at all. Uh,
it's weird.
Speaker 2 (28:34):
What were you taking?
Speaker 4 (28:36):
Then said or something?
Speaker 2 (28:37):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (28:38):
There's another one, sure she recommended him.
Speaker 2 (28:40):
Yeah, no, no, I'm not sure.
Speaker 4 (28:41):
And it's just and what's called nelt and alt?
Speaker 2 (28:44):
Yeah. I always did like and I took it for
a really long time.
Speaker 4 (28:47):
You took on it from alpha alpha brain alpha brain.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
I loved it, I really did. And uh, I was
thinking of going back. And then I'm like, I don't
want to add any more now that I have to
discovered adderall. But I'll tell you this, like adderall is
a stimulant. Those I don't know that there are so
much of a stimulut as much as even giving you
some clarity. And I used to take them all the
time when we did the show on CMF, and I
(29:12):
took them for a number of years, like to the
point where I had built up so many points. They
called me and go, you want to like a sweatshirt
or something? And I thought no, I said no, but
could I Yeah? So what they would do is I
would buy them the bottles and then they would reimburse me.
Because I had all these points for buying for so
(29:33):
many years and I didn't even know about this incentive,
so it was fine. I stopped doing it. I think
more when I didn't know what was going to happen
financially for me, right, so I was cutting things out
and I just never went back and the adderall it.
I almost feel like if I don't take it, I
(29:54):
would be dead tired like that I'd be I probably
would sleep for a day because I'm that exhausted, and
I don't It doesn't make me smarter, but I feel
like I get more done somehow. I don't know how
I get a ton more shit done, Like I can't
believe it. Sometimes I sit down and go, wow, I
did all that, you know, And then but I have
(30:15):
this bad habit too, where sometimes you just want to
melt into your couch like I don't know why, and
I had to fight it last night and I came
back and I had work I needed to start to
do it. I'm like, I can't, I can't keep my
eye and I just laid down. I tried to watch TV,
and I fell asleep and woke up at one o'clock
in the morning, and then went to bed in my
own bed and got back up at like five point
(30:37):
forty five, and I'm like, yeah, I gotta not do that.
That's not open. Yeah, that's not open anyway, there you go.
Speaker 5 (30:47):
No, I mean, I know, I know what you're I
know what you made. I know what you're going through
because I've I've.
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Well almost like you're doing so much shit you don't
even get to enjoy anything. Yes, you know what I mean.
And I'm I got I have What do people say?
I got a lot of fires, but now I got
a lot fire now and school is in a fire.
That's just another thing. But I got I got fires,
I got a kid, and I got people and yeah,
I yeah, yeah, everybody does. Yeah, yeah, it'll be fine,
(31:13):
it'll all work out.
Speaker 5 (31:14):
But the fact that we come in today, the first
thing you say is like I am the closest to
burnout I've ever been.
Speaker 4 (31:19):
Yeah, having known you as long as I have, that's
saying so well.
Speaker 2 (31:23):
I say that because I and I and I wonder
if it's more that I had a little bit of
down time and I all of a sudden, I could
feel my eyes starting to close in the afternoon, and
I'm like, oh man, I'm fucking I'm cooked. Yeah, cooked.
And then I, you know, I'll perk back up. But
I had to run Jamison into a basketball thing and
(31:44):
over a basketball plus in East Rochester. He's doing one
on one training, and then from there I go, they
really didn't prepare anything for dinner. And then the next words,
hey can we go across the street to that great
pizza place? So we went there, had giant slices of pizza.
That's cool, opt him home, picked something up and came
right here.
Speaker 5 (32:02):
Well, I heard the SWAT team was in Fairport yesterday.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
I'm like, oh well, yeah, oh my god, can you
do you know anything about Oh.
Speaker 4 (32:08):
No, I don't Jameson.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
Was that you that sent me? Okay, I couldn't open.
Did you send it to me today? Uh?
Speaker 5 (32:16):
No, yesterday I sent yesterday. It was on Twitter but
I didn't.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
Oh, I did see that, and then know what that
was all about somebody else. I've been getting a bunch
of like John Hyatts coming to town March tenth, and
I've been getting a bunch of those. I did see it,
and it was in the parenton pines.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
Yeah yeah, pines of parenting.
Speaker 2 (32:35):
Yeah yeah, I don't know anything about it. My man
was not it was not. No, I'm pushing I am.
I think it's all going to come around, right. I
think it's all going to come around good. You know.
There was a lot of pushback on the basketball stuff,
and I think more because you know, a little bit
(32:55):
out of out of basketball shape. I haven't really played
in a while and wanted these one on one training things.
Nobody was really offering that. And somehow guy calls me
and goes, hey, I pulled him aside and he got
the stuff. But I think he gets a little. You know,
I have a guy who played in Europe and played
in South America and he's here and he'll do one
(33:16):
on one. So we went in and met him today.
Great kid played in Italy, played in Venezuela, played in Brazil,
all over and twenty seven years old. And uh yeah,
I did great. And so at the end, I'm like, okay,
he goes. I loved it. I said, okay, I'm gonna
(33:36):
find more money. But whatever, all right, Danny, let's we'll
take a break. Our friend Peter Montemerno will join us.
And I'm sure there's thoughts thoughts on the Bills, plenty,
plenty of thought.
Speaker 4 (33:50):
Play. We got a big game tonight.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
Yes, yeah, I agree. I know c J. Stroud probably
will play or he's out.
Speaker 4 (33:59):
He's out to Davis Mills a third.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Okay, so did Davis Mills been playing well enough too?
Speaker 5 (34:03):
He's been playing okay. But the Texans have won their
last two games. Yeah, so Texas have benefited from a
great defense, Like they have a super Bowl caliber defense.
They are not a super Bowl team, but they have
a super Bowl caliber defense.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (34:16):
It's very often that super Bowl caliber defenses don't match
their offense, right, and their offense is not great. But
the Bills do not win when they go down to Houston.
They have won there since two thousand and six. The
one time they actually beat Houston was in Buffalo, and
it was it was like a forty to zhering game,
but they didn't score till the second half, do well
un till the second half. And it was against Davis
Mills when he was a kid.
Speaker 4 (34:36):
It was a rookie.
Speaker 5 (34:37):
So it's gonna be interesting to see how this plays out.
And I'd love to get Peters takeout because I went
back and watched the game from Sunday again and it
was worse than I thought. Yeah, it was worse than
I thought.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
Yeah, it was bad. I mean, Josh really bled.
Speaker 5 (34:52):
Won the Player of the Week for having six touchdowns
and he didn't even play that well.
Speaker 2 (34:56):
No, but he had some He had played well enough.
I mean there were some beautiful passes that he had,
oh yeah, and then there were some miss things and uh,
you know, shovel passes that just should never have had.
Speaker 5 (35:09):
He was he was making some. It's gonna be interesting
to see if Kean Coleman plays.
Speaker 2 (35:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (35:14):
We know that Curtis Samuel's out.
Speaker 5 (35:16):
Yeah, and we know that McCole Harmon's out, so we're
gonna see, like what's.
Speaker 4 (35:19):
Gonna happen tonight if he's gonna be in the lineup.
Speaker 2 (35:21):
It's too bad that McCole harmon's out, even though he fumbled,
But I mean, what a way to get into the Yeah,
I mean that was a hell of a reach.
Speaker 5 (35:28):
He's also getting killed for not for dropping that ball
that Alan threw him in the first quarter.
Speaker 4 (35:32):
Yeah, I thought that was a tough play. Maybe I'm wrong.
Speaker 2 (35:36):
Well, Uh, I think they're all tough. I think it's
so much harder than we even know. But you're right,
they've been playing this game at a very high level
for a very long time. Uh, Peter Montemurnal, We'll get
to that right after this. Got a home improvement conundrum.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
But is it John.
Speaker 4 (38:07):
John Mayer?
Speaker 2 (38:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (38:09):
Here the chicks and me saying it's your melt tuner.
Speaker 2 (38:23):
Somebody said it. It's the song is called Covered in
the Rain or Any Givings or.
Speaker 7 (38:30):
The World and Corner.
Speaker 4 (38:32):
Hey, brother spares Moth's House.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
You don't matter if I call you brown, do not?
I love this song though I listen to it, but
not act of it. Chicken, run and watch the sinner
start gutting. No, than Okay, it's the bradest sing.
Speaker 7 (38:55):
I'm covering.
Speaker 2 (38:58):
Covered in the Rain. This is the guy who I
don't think I know he went to no.
Speaker 5 (39:14):
Berkeley School of Music.
Speaker 2 (39:16):
No, I think I think he was more up in
the Boston area. It is Berkeley, Okay. I walked by
that played per California. Yeah, so there. But I I
don't think he can read music.
Speaker 4 (39:31):
Most of us can't.
Speaker 5 (39:32):
Yeah, most guitar players don't read music.
Speaker 4 (39:36):
Yes, just pick the guitar.
Speaker 5 (39:37):
It's one of the easiest instruments to pick up. It's
one of the hardest masters instruments. You could pretty much
any instrument you want, you could pretty much learn on
your own without Yeah.
Speaker 2 (39:48):
I mean the guy is I think pretty incredible and
plays with a lot of people, you know, guests on albums.
Speaker 4 (39:55):
And uh playing with the Grateful Dead is anything he did?
Speaker 2 (39:58):
Yes, he is now which had the uh rich not rich? Uh?
Who's the other Robinson? Chris Robinson. Chris Robinson from the
Black Rows were not happy about that at all. And
he's like, look, I you know, and and he's addressed
it because he's like, you're not I am that I
(40:20):
should be that guy.
Speaker 5 (40:21):
And he's like, yeah, he was. Friends and they love
the way he plays.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
He just plays great guitar, plays crossroads, plays played with
everybody BB.
Speaker 5 (40:29):
King, they all you know what I'm stand whereas Chris
Robinson couldn't get along with his own brother.
Speaker 2 (40:33):
Come on, yeah, a little interpersonal ship you need to
work out, buddy. Yes, Uh, our friend Peter Montemurno is
uh in his car. We were gonna wait, but I
I have I have to go home and do more work.
So we're gonna call Peter. And I don't know where
is he? Where he's going? Do you know?
Speaker 4 (40:55):
No, let's travel. He might is he in Houston?
Speaker 7 (40:59):
Oh it's Peter. Please leave a message and I will
try to call it.
Speaker 2 (41:03):
No, no, okay, no, it's all right. Well he might
have hit a dead spot.
Speaker 4 (41:09):
Okay, just tried calling.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
Yeah, you know what happens when you're in a dead spot.
John Mayer said, Bunny's a one and man, I never
heard anybody cover John Mayer.
Speaker 4 (41:24):
Well, because he's so talented.
Speaker 5 (41:25):
No, come on, I mean, like, if you're to cover
John May, he is super talent.
Speaker 4 (41:30):
Yeah, but one guy.
Speaker 5 (41:31):
Think about covering somebody like John Mayer is like covering
Stevie Ory Ray Vaughan. One person has to do the
playing and the singing. You can't have two people do it.
Or it's not really it's that it's kind of cheating.
Speaker 2 (41:42):
Oh, here you go, hang on, hello, sir, Oh wait,
hang on now we I don't think he's connected to
the uh broadcaster pros. Give me just a second here there,
Yeah we go, We got you. Where are you headed to.
Speaker 7 (42:00):
Back on road? Right now?
Speaker 2 (42:01):
Oh? You're duke.
Speaker 7 (42:03):
Yeah, I'm not going to do, but I'm in I'm
in Raleigh for the night.
Speaker 2 (42:07):
Yeah, big business down in Raleigh, big business. Yeah. I
was on what was the station? I was on a
station in Raleigh. Oh really Yeah, yep, I was on
a station mostly weekend stuff.
Speaker 4 (42:21):
But I was on the Yeah, it was something like that.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
Uh No, I don't think it was the end. I
don't remember what it was. I'd have to go back
because I had to read a bunch of liners for Raleigh,
different businesses and things. And then sometimes I would fill
in for people during the week and then I get
a call from my body or why the hell you're
in town? You don't even tell me? Hear you on
the radio, and I go, no, no, buddy, I'm stilling.
(42:49):
It's Bill Moran here. Now. The Hurricanes are in tab
to night playing the Sabers. That's a win.
Speaker 4 (42:53):
You're gonna want to go to that one.
Speaker 2 (42:56):
Oh, Peter, give it to me. What did you think
of Sun? Right off the bat, I'll preface it with this,
Dion Dawkins said it best. He goes, you don't watch
this game to be bored, right, I'm paraphrasing, but that's
what he said, that you don't watch the game to
be bored. You know, you can tell me about the anxiety,
(43:16):
the edge of your seat. That's why you love it.
That's why you love it. And I have to agree.
But man, it didn't look good in the beginning.
Speaker 7 (43:26):
Nope, and it didn't look good at the end. In
my opinion, Yes, the Bill's won, but I don't. I
don't know if I've ever known of a team who
could look so bad winning. And when I say that,
I'm obviously I'm meaning defensively. They had pre staff penalties again,
they had three turnovers. I think the list goes on
(43:47):
and on. They gave up over two hundred dollars rushing. Gracious.
I mean that we're getting deeper into the year here,
we're getting close to the winter months, pretty much in
the winter months, and you know, January looms large, and
I don't think you can have a deep into January.
(44:08):
I don't think you can have an effort like that
on defense and win. I really don't know.
Speaker 4 (44:13):
I don't.
Speaker 7 (44:13):
I don't.
Speaker 5 (44:14):
They're not even like able to rush the passer anymore.
I mean, Joey Bosa look terrible on Sunday. He wasn't
like setting the image. He was getting engulfed. I know
he can't. He can't put his hand in the dirt
because he's got that club on his freaking hand right now.
Speaker 7 (44:27):
But yeah, and that that, you know, that definitely prevents
him from doing a lot of things. And you know
you can, you could take advantage of that as an
offense significantly. A guy like that, where he's he's a half,
he's a half a man out there, he'll make her
He'll make his initial stick, his initial run fit, or
his initial pass move. And from that point he can't
(44:47):
grab anything. Right, you can grab one arm, but he
can't grab the other, and that prevents him from doing
a lot of things. And you know, it's only one guy, right,
there's eleven guys, And the fact that they couldn't dial
up any pressure was shocking to me. You know, Tampa's
a good team, no question, they're a good team. But
(45:08):
you know, these high scoring affairs, I it doesn't it
doesn't vote well to me unless they can they can
make a they can make some quick changes in scheme
or injury returning personnel, you know. And I think the
short week will will help them because there's a little momentum.
(45:30):
But I feel that you know the Texans without Stroud
is a big advantage for the Bill.
Speaker 2 (45:35):
Yeah, that is, That's what I think.
Speaker 7 (45:38):
But defensively, the Texans are pretty good. They're pretty dark.
Gets that they are very good, good pursuing.
Speaker 2 (45:45):
Do they have the number one defense in the NFL.
Speaker 5 (45:47):
Statistically yes, yeah, statistically right, they're grated like fifth and
Pro Football Focus. But they got two edge rushers daneil
Hunter and Will Anderson who will engulf quarterbacks.
Speaker 2 (45:59):
And I thought they had a pretty good secondary.
Speaker 4 (46:00):
They do very good second there.
Speaker 7 (46:02):
I think I think one guy's injured in the secondary.
I can't remember off the top, but I believe, I
believe they had one player who's injured going into tomorrow.
But you know, this isn't a this isn't a real
receiving corps anyway, So you know they they are, but
you know they're not what what you know? You see
a normal, normal receiving course throughout the league. And I
(46:25):
guess Nicole Hartman's out this week. He's injured, so you know,
again the injury bug, it's Buffalo.
Speaker 2 (46:35):
Yeah. And I think they have a pretty explosive run
game for the Texans, and I think, you know, if
they end up winning I think that's why, because yeah,
I mean Bill Bills can't stop the run.
Speaker 7 (46:50):
Can't stop the run. And it amazes me how they
can't skin out of it or adjust to it. You know,
there's a lot that goes into it. You know, you
bump a guy from one gap to another, noseguard, you
change your front to a certain It doesn't seem like
they've been doing that. And and they're just you know,
hoping that their base defense kicks in a high gear
(47:11):
and they won the game. They won the game. They
are they are seven and three, and you know, all
science point to make in the playoffs, but I'm still
not one hundred percent convinced they got they have to
go in and the tach. We never played well there, No,
I think the last time we won there was with
JP Lossman and Lee Evans with their big It was
(47:32):
either JP or was Remember.
Speaker 4 (47:34):
It was JP.
Speaker 5 (47:35):
He had two hundred yards passing in the first quarter
and the two of the they still had to come
back and win the game. Pills Price had a touchdown
at the end, but but lost. But hit Lee Evans
for two bombs in the first quarter touchdowns.
Speaker 7 (47:48):
Wow, yeah, yeah, But we never played there obviously, you know,
it's just hasn't been a great experience for any Buffalo
Bill's team and in the recent history playing over there,
so not an easy place to play. Short week. Uh yeah,
it's not gonna be easy. Keep saying it every week,
but I mean, it's just it's just it's frustrating where
(48:12):
I feel like you hear again, everything's all, everything's good,
everything's okay. No it's not. It's not. It's not. Okay.
Is great?
Speaker 2 (48:21):
Yeah, but well, okay, so what what would you like this?
I mean, I I know Josh had those moments, uh
early in the game. You don't want the safety, right,
so you're trying to do something to make something out
of nothing. No one's getting any separation. But it seemed
like Josh was waiting because I think he was holding
(48:42):
the ball longer than he ever has uh and and
waiting for guys to get open, and some of them
started to you know, and and I wonder if Coleman
has just played himself off the team.
Speaker 7 (48:55):
Yeah, that that's another that's a bad circumstance. But i'm
that and then I'm that big plate of shaver is.
You know, call it a broken play if you want,
but it was Josh's first progression was there. It was there,
It was there for him to throw. I can't remember
exactly who who it was. I think it was. I'm
(49:15):
not mistaken. Yeah, but that didn't that circus didn't need
to happen. So I again, we're not in his sight line.
But the All twenty two will give you a good
picture of what if you pause it, you know, you
kind of try to see where Josh's eyes were or
his helmets pointed towards. But that didn't have to happen.
(49:36):
And and uh, granted it was it was a it
was a touchdown, and that's great, but you know, and
I just keep thinking about the playoffs when the preparation
of a defensive team in the playoffs is a little
bit different, the speed's a little different, and I think
they're going to take away your first progression. And you know,
(49:57):
Josh has not seen it right now, and and he
had he a great game. Six touchdowns, yes, and my
splitting hairs maybe, But just as a football purist, I
want to see certain things and I'm just I'm just
not seeing right now out of them and can they
can they climb out of it? Yep? But it's not
all rosy over one. Bill's driving and more, you know,
(50:18):
even more with the You know, it's a distraction you
don't need at the time of the year. You don't
need it. And he didn't seem like he care at all.
You know, we don't know what was said between him
and the McDermott. We never will, but his body and
language told me everything. Pre game, he's out there dancing
and hey, I got benched. They're dancing for the gamping.
(50:40):
What what are you doing. You've let down your team,
You've let down your franchise. You're making your GM look bad.
His play makes his GM look bad. But in any event,
I mean it, it's just it's bad all.
Speaker 2 (50:54):
The way around.
Speaker 7 (50:54):
And you might be right. Thought he may have played
himself right out of this, right off this roster. I
mean you that Josh Palmer didn't give him enough, didn't
give him enough intentive to get out there and change
his game. I don't know what well, or.
Speaker 5 (51:06):
Even just showing up for a meeting.
Speaker 2 (51:12):
I guess it's been a couple now.
Speaker 5 (51:14):
Yeah, you know, he sat They made him sit out
against the Patriots in the first drive because he was
late for a meeting. And then he was late for
a meeting again, and cover One broke the story Saturday
Nights saying, hey, this kid's not playing tomorrow, and lo
and behold it became true. And then Dion Dawkins and
(51:34):
others were asked about it. Dawkins said, okay, and he
was very gentle and very calm about it, but he said,
it's time to grow up.
Speaker 4 (51:41):
It's time to grow up, right.
Speaker 5 (51:42):
And like, oh gosh, I mean, like okay, Shannon Sharp
and Chris Chris john Chad Johnson went on for ten
minutes about this, saying, what like ripping on ripping on
key goes like Shannon sharps, isn't the only way, Shannon
Sharp could? He goes talent and tolerance, you know, say
another word. They'll only tolerate you as long as you
(52:03):
have talent. But when the talent, the talent doesn't dip
below tolerance. Once that talent dips by yeah and it
chat shouts and goes, yeah, I think he'll turn it around.
Speaker 4 (52:13):
I think he'll turn it around.
Speaker 5 (52:14):
But like Shannon Sharp went on and on and on
about this kid, like come on, man, grow up, you
got you got an opportunity.
Speaker 2 (52:22):
I mean, I wasn't sure at first because I I go, boy,
I like that we haven't And then you guys knew,
But I don't think majority of the fans maybe they're
casual fans. Whatever, we were aware or was aware, hey
was benched in the first half of the.
Speaker 8 (52:39):
Patriotoris game for the first drive, right, which.
Speaker 5 (52:44):
By the way, isn't much like if you watch the
Monday night game, did you see that Pickens and Ceedee
Lamb had to sit the first drive and they end
up being they both end up scoring.
Speaker 4 (52:53):
It was no big deal. Like that's kind of like
a slap on the wrist on our hand.
Speaker 7 (52:57):
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (52:58):
What I'm saying is so clearly there's a pattern here.
We don't know it. And I think even some talking
heads were like, ah, you know what I mean, come on,
it seems like an overreach for a guy who's late
to a meeting and somebody else goes. We don't know
how many times has this happen.
Speaker 4 (53:13):
Right, or we don't know that stuff. We're not in
the locker.
Speaker 2 (53:15):
Room, right and so and and as it turns out,
I think it's been three meetings that has been this.
I don't know. I heard these things throughout the week
so I'm not sure anyway.
Speaker 7 (53:25):
Yeah, blown away by him, no, but I'm blown away
by the lack of remorse. Just his body language and
his temperament before the game didn't reflect as someone who man,
I did wrong.
Speaker 2 (53:38):
Well, you even told us that when you were at
the game in uh, North Carolina, that I thought you
said that on the plays that he wasn't involved. He
dogged it.
Speaker 7 (53:49):
He dogged it. He dogged that, and he dogged It's
on film too with other games. He just sees the
Sammy Watkins two right, soame same stuff.
Speaker 5 (54:00):
If he's not involved, if he's not the first option,
then well.
Speaker 4 (54:02):
Whatever, right, And this is a dude who you got
to remember this.
Speaker 5 (54:07):
The Bills needed a receiver in that draft. They just
traded away Stephon Diggs. They had to replace Stefon Diggs.
And it was a receiver rich draft. And by the
time it comes down for the come down to the
Bills to pick, they trade down down with Kansas City.
Who goes and gets Savior Worthy. So everybody's like, wait
a second, this is the second time you've traded with
(54:28):
a team that end up becoming your art trival.
Speaker 4 (54:30):
Now you know they're your art trival.
Speaker 5 (54:32):
And giving the dude the last guy who you traded
around for so they can get him Patrick Mahomes.
Speaker 2 (54:37):
Now you're giving him a weapon.
Speaker 4 (54:39):
Now, No, we know what we're doing.
Speaker 5 (54:40):
They trade down again with Carolin and have their favorite
trade mates because guess where Brandon Bean is from.
Speaker 4 (54:46):
Right, Because we're not sir' saviorly Gette, let's go.
Speaker 2 (54:49):
We think keiak Cole was the guy.
Speaker 5 (54:50):
And the very next guy who was taken is a
guy who has really done well the last couple of
years with the charger's name, Lad mcconky.
Speaker 4 (54:57):
But they don't draft him because he's too much like
a Shakir.
Speaker 5 (55:00):
Just drafted the best receiver available and it wasn't according
to like what we've seen.
Speaker 2 (55:04):
So far, and they had several cracks. Yeah, I still
am not convinced I know worth these fast boy. He
just seems too slight to me.
Speaker 5 (55:17):
He might be, but if you could stretch a defense
the other day, all of a sudden, Yeah, they're throwing
the ball down the field all.
Speaker 4 (55:24):
Of a sudden.
Speaker 2 (55:25):
I'm waiting for like an injury to happen. He just
looks too slight, fast as hell, So maybe it doesn't matter,
But I don't know. I wasn't even really bothered about
them not getting him at that moment. I wasn't either.
Speaker 5 (55:39):
But now that we have hindsight, and I know that's cheap.
Speaker 2 (55:42):
But at the end of the day, that's what we
all do. It's fair then, you know, to go, hey,
you guys are supposed to know this.
Speaker 4 (55:48):
Yeah, you're the pros. We're just the Joe's looks at.
Speaker 7 (55:51):
Peter, well, you know, and uh, they throw the ball
down the field. They were successful with that. You know,
you don't have your tight end, right, so all right,
what else do we do? Now, Well, let's throw them
all down the field and see if we can make
something happen. If we don't make it happen, there could
be a penalty. Things happen we throw them all down
the field. So it's good to see that they did that,
(56:14):
and not having the security blanket of your tight end,
uh kincaid, then they may have opened it up a
little more. But then they go back to the bubble
screens and the tunnel screens. And I'm telling you why
after the touchdown that we have on the screen, which
is great, right, I said, there's no way Todd Bowles
will let a screen get another yard this game. Todd
(56:40):
Bowles great defensive coach, and I think make the very
next series, the Bills tried to bubble screen to the outside.
It was blown up. They're a five yard loss in
the Backfield's okay, They're done with the screens today. They're done.
They can't run this crap anymore, so, you know, and
they finally used cook in the passing game a little bit,
which was great, which they should be doing more of.
(57:01):
Maybe they felt they had to do that because because
kin Ka was out and you know, the receivers were
not getting where they needed to go, and too many
guys were you know, the coverage was was tough to break.
But it's you know, if I sound frustrated, I am
because I think this team should be a lot better
(57:23):
and they just haven't done the right things in the
off season to get the right players on defense and
maybe possibly change the scheme on defense, because at this
point the season, you can't be given a two hundred
yards on the ground, especially.
Speaker 5 (57:36):
To a dude who was undrafted in from Syracuse. Yes,
I know your own backyard.
Speaker 2 (57:41):
Yes, hey, well hot, what do you think the final
score will be on Tomorrow night? Thursday night?
Speaker 7 (57:49):
Football tomorrow night. It's going to be twenty four to seventeen.
I just I just don't know who was going to be. Okay, yeah, yep.
Speaker 5 (57:58):
Look I said he's gonna be going to win this
to take Houston.
Speaker 4 (58:01):
I hate doing it. I hate doing it.
Speaker 7 (58:03):
I'm leaning that way, Andy, I'm leaning even without Stroud.
I mean, their backup quarterback Mills. He started for Tennessee
and the guys. He's able, and.
Speaker 5 (58:14):
They had a huge rush from coming back to beat Jacksonville,
Oh with Davis Mills, and then they turn around and
they beat Tennessee. Now Tennessee is getting a little bit
better every week, not so not real, not too much.
But they gave the Houston Texans a game, but Houston
pulled it off. And so now you're like the Bills.
Typically after they win, they have this.
Speaker 4 (58:36):
Oh okay, we're good.
Speaker 5 (58:39):
Yeah, we're fine, We're fine, and it goes back. It's
in their history, it's in their DNA. Now're gonna got
to Houston, a place that they they never win, and
now you're gonna you gotta go on a third on
a short week and try to beat a team at home.
Speaker 4 (58:51):
I mean, it's gonna be hard.
Speaker 7 (58:53):
Was rich Stadium built on an Indian burial ground.
Speaker 2 (58:56):
Supposed to suppose supposedly.
Speaker 7 (59:00):
And you know where Brandon Bean is from?
Speaker 2 (59:01):
Right?
Speaker 7 (59:02):
The town in North Carolina?
Speaker 4 (59:04):
Is it carry Norwood?
Speaker 7 (59:06):
Okay, this team is cursed. The GM is from Norwood,
North Carolina.
Speaker 2 (59:14):
Gracious, Yeah, I heard his wide rights to. Uh, I
don't know right there, terrible. I know I had to
because I was waiting for it. Uh. Well, Peter, what's
going on in Raleigh is a big business meeting. You're
closing deals.
Speaker 7 (59:30):
You try and try and got a meeting seminar tomorrow
for some North Carolina not for profit organizations and that's it.
Then I'm back to Charlotte in the afternoon. So I'm
staying in a courtyard Marriot tonight. And no, you know
you're unlimited to where you can stay when you're.
Speaker 4 (59:52):
Courtyard.
Speaker 2 (59:53):
They're not bad at all. I just said, I get it.
Speaker 7 (59:57):
They're not bad, but they're not not.
Speaker 4 (59:59):
Days in either.
Speaker 2 (01:00:00):
It's not a day's in. I understand. Didn't set you. No.
I was like, come out, well, what.
Speaker 4 (01:00:07):
If the court got married off?
Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
People do just day no, no, nothing, nothing.
Speaker 4 (01:00:11):
It's it's not the Western, but it's not the.
Speaker 2 (01:00:15):
Either. The w is a wonderful hotel, but it's Raleigh,
so I don't know what's It's all.
Speaker 7 (01:00:21):
About the bed though. It's all about the bed, yes
I do. I don't care about the amenities inside. If
the bed is comfortable, I'll stay anywhere.
Speaker 2 (01:00:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:00:29):
I don't care about the lack of coffee or you know,
the TV is broke. I don't care about that. The beds.
So if it's a days in and it's a comfortable bed,
I'll stay there.
Speaker 2 (01:00:41):
Yeah. I don't know. If I could, I might have
to turn my nose up at the days in. Because
I can do the like I can tell, I can
take a lot of stuff. What's going to gross me
out is when I go in that bathroom somebody else's
pubic care somewhere in that. I'm a little bothered. I'm
a little bothered just saying.
Speaker 7 (01:00:58):
Well I did. There was a time where I was
doing a game and Raleigh. It was the middle of
the night. I was driving home and my wests you
need to stop at a hotel and like, honey, there's
nothing like in the vicinity shows. Is there like a
motel inn that you see? I'm like, actually, yeah, let
me get off. It was like, it's just thirty nine,
ninety nine and nine. I'm like this, this isn't working.
(01:01:19):
So I walk in there and the person takes my
car and then he gives me the key to the
room and I walk up. I walk in there, opened
the door and it looked like a murder scene. And
I walked out and I drove home. I just slapping
myself in the face just to stay up. But yeah,
it was a bad It's like one of those side
of the road. Yeah, people have affairs and all that.
Speaker 5 (01:01:40):
Yeah, it was drug deals.
Speaker 7 (01:01:41):
And I always said that whenever I see people when
they have cars in the parking lot of those places,
I always say to myself, that's a drug dealer, an affair.
Speaker 2 (01:01:50):
I don't know, Yeah, yeah, or both. You know, that's wow. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:01:58):
Tell Bill what the time you stay at the White
ind for Dodia. Oh man, that's great, good, Mark Twain.
Speaker 5 (01:02:07):
Mark Twain lived at the White Inn in for Donia. Okay,
And it's become this it's restaurants. They just remodeled it
restaurant slash hotel, very high.
Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:02:17):
So this is years ago, and I was there for work.
I had a meeting very early in the morning, much
like I do tomorrow morning. So stayed there and I
wanted something different. I didn't want to chain and want
you know, I traveled a lot. I want to try
something different. So looked it up, reserved, got there, having
soup at the at the restaurant bar, there was some
(01:02:38):
reading some stuff earlier that day, like it's a haunted
play something. Ah. So then I check in. I walk
up the stairs and I felt like the art was
looking at me right. I had some weird vibe.
Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
Oh, like a Scooby dooche.
Speaker 4 (01:02:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:02:52):
Yeah. So finally I get into the room and they said, oh,
we're going to upgrade you, sir, because you know, don't
have a lot of capacity to the nipe up up up,
So they upgrade me. This really nice room, nice sweet,
very old, but still a lot of character. And then
when I got to the top of the stairs, this
long hallway and my room's door was facing the hallway.
(01:03:17):
You could see it, and I'm telling you, it looked
like the hallway and the shining. So I take a
picture when I got into the door. When I when
I came to the door, I turned around. I took
a picture of this hallway and that's when I Facebook
and I said, anybody out there ever stay at the
White Inn in Pregonia. This place looks really creepy. I'm
getting creepy vibes. So I walk into the room. Sure enough,
(01:03:42):
I'm getting even worse vibes. And I walk into the
bathroom and it's incredibly cold, I mean really cold. Yeah,
in the bathroom. I'm like, Okay, I don't like how
this feels. This is weird. So then I then as
it's getting worse, is the feeling is getting more dense?
I checked my Facebook again and I got this message
(01:04:05):
back from this girl who I just knew through work.
She goes, yeah, you're good at the White Inn as
long as you're not staying in room two ninety two.
I said, I am staying in room two ninety yeah,
it's where I got And she sends me this article
where years prior, in that room, some professor or author
(01:04:27):
killed his wife in the room and left her body
in the bathroom in the tub when he while he
killed himself. Oh yeah, and there hasn't been any renovation.
Ba blah bupa. I went down says it's that guys,
you know this actually goes yeah, actually, why did you
never you didn't tell me you upgrade me this room. Yeah,
(01:04:49):
I don't know if there should have told me or not.
I never really got to that part of it, but
I was and I left. I left the hotel room.
It was such a freaky, weird feeling I had that
entire night. I left. I left in the middle of
the night, all.
Speaker 2 (01:05:04):
Right, So maybe maybe she was still hanging around, maybe.
Speaker 7 (01:05:11):
Exactly. And for the bathroom to be that cold, I'm
not talking like the air condition was on, and no,
it was sharply cold. And then you read that they
found the wild wife in the bathroom with a He
took one of a book, nd by the book and
smashed her scullet.
Speaker 2 (01:05:28):
It was she wouldn't shut up. I have no idea,
right as a joke, daddy, I'm just thinking that if
the Bills lose, that same temperature is going to be
in the locker room and one Bill's drive, Oh boy,
it'll be that cold and on the flight home. Yeah,
all right, someone's getting fired. They lose this game.
Speaker 5 (01:05:50):
Somebody's getting fired.
Speaker 2 (01:05:52):
Oh yeah, babbit yeah, babbitte or or Brady, one of
the other babbitte is getting fired.
Speaker 7 (01:05:58):
And then they followed up with next week.
Speaker 2 (01:06:01):
Yep, so.
Speaker 7 (01:06:03):
Not easy again.
Speaker 2 (01:06:04):
No, uh, Peter always good stuff. Uh stay safe at
the Marriotte in Raleigh, North Carolina. Yeah, enjoy yourself, sweet
prank all over the Marriott Leigh.
Speaker 7 (01:06:16):
Yeah, worry about great now you got my time out.
My head's out swivel.
Speaker 2 (01:06:21):
No, it's all right, all right, we'll talk to you
next week. But there he goes Peter Mont. Tomorrow. We
will take a moment and when we come back, we
got our friend Juice giving you the picks for week twelve.
What's the matter, daddy?
Speaker 4 (01:06:36):
Nothing?
Speaker 2 (01:06:36):
Okay? Oh yeah, all right, Yeah, I'm good. Why you
got quiet? You made a face, looks like you bit
into a lemon.
Speaker 5 (01:06:43):
No, somebody asked me, I was watching this at your
house twenty one years ago, this famous sport event. Now
I'm like trying to figure out what it was.

like no. No, things yeah you gotta you gotta. Drop boundaries, uh,
sure yes definitely.
Speaker 4 (01:10:27):
Got to be able to.
Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
Say. No RIGHT but, I Mean I'm i'm I'M getting i.
Don't know there's so many things that has to get.
CLEANED up i don't know what it is. With me it's,
been like you KNOW what, I, mean well you're in
the right, profession now, right right trying, to learn trying
to figure, that out.
Speaker 4 (01:10:48):
Deconstruct Yourself oh i've.
Speaker 2 (01:10:50):
Done a lot, of that done a lot.
Speaker 5 (01:10:52):
Of that.
Speaker 2 (01:10:54):
It's.
Speaker 4 (01:10:54):
NOT unpleasant i can't imagine.
Speaker 2 (01:10:57):
It, is well it's one of these things where you
start to realize that we just avoid feelings and things
and that's not the healthy way to me. At all
it just isn't and you can't really. Be AUTHENTIC and
i think a lot, of times, YOU know i use
the analogy of, sedimentary rock remember those lessons in elementary
(01:11:20):
school and the, build up, build up, Build UP and
i think we do that with feelings and things and
then it just gets so bad that something's going to
break through and it's going to be ugly for a lot.
Of people it might be minor episodes, of that but
it could be. Other things but. You don't you start
having scenarios in your head and fictionalizing things that, haven't
(01:11:42):
happened and you just. Don't know, so YEAH so i
think if you if you learn to touch the feeling
and sit in, the feeling and that is. Not, fun
no it's like.
Speaker 4 (01:11:53):
Exposure therapy, it's scary it's.
Speaker 2 (01:11:55):
Not fun it's not fun. At ALL so i. Don't
know we'll see how. This goes, but, YEAH man I am,
i'm tired, AND someday i, YOU know i joke, Ex
girlfriend someday there's a STORY that i don't Know if
i'll ever, tell IT but i sure as hell, want
to sure as.
Speaker 4 (01:12:14):
HELL want, I mean i want to talk. About, Cathartic.
Speaker 2 (01:12:22):
Well. I'M not i, don't KNOW because i don't come
out of this one. LOOKING great i don't, think, no, no.
No OKAY but i think like in the in, the
REALITY probably i. Think THAT and i don't know anything about.
Speaker 4 (01:12:37):
This story by, THE way i.
Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
Think it IS very i think, it's relatable it's, very
real it's. Very raw and oh after Benching, Keon Coleman
buffalo BILLS rethink x. Receiver.
Speaker 5 (01:12:51):
Role yeah in, other words he's gonna he might move
to a slop position or. Something else he was on
the field board that's the. Other thing he was on
The field moore than any, other Player not alan or an.
Offensive lineman he was on The field Moore And. James
cook he was on the field more than he was
on the field more than the.
Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
Tight.
Speaker 5 (01:13:05):
Ends huh he was supposed to be the guy. The
targets he's. Proven that but can he be rebuilt into a.
Different role that's. The question and we're going to see what.
Happens THERE but, i mean he's gonna have to.
Speaker 4 (01:13:21):
Take, HITS okay.
Speaker 2 (01:13:23):
I did send juice. The thing just want to.
Speaker 4 (01:13:25):
Make, sure okay did he text?
Speaker 2 (01:13:28):
ME back i feel there he is there is, there's juice,
all right. Good Juice someday i'll tell, that. Story though
it'll be a.
Speaker 4 (01:13:34):
Good one he had, to technicality but he's.
Speaker 2 (01:13:35):
He's, there no it's not it's. Not him We, uh
OKAY well i was late getting. To him BUT someday
i will tell, The, story. Danny.
Speaker 4 (01:13:43):
Maybe okay there's.
Speaker 2 (01:13:45):
A couple there's two stories in my LIFE that, i
really REALLY really i would like, to Tell and i'm
just not SURE that i. Ever will but they're, great
stories like they're, really rich they're sialacious in so. Many
ways one has nothing to do with. Really silaicious it's
(01:14:05):
just like a holy shit you. Wouldn't believe and it
is a STORY like i wondering if it could JUST
be i think he could do a mini series out. Of.
It okay and then the other and you sort, of know,
you didn't we weren't together when all this. Went down
and then the other is ONE THAT i i just
shake my head, AND go i, DON'T know i. Don't
(01:14:28):
KNOW so.
Speaker 5 (01:14:31):
I have some stories of. My, life YEAH that i
probably will. Never, Tell yeah god. Knows them well THAT'S all.
Speaker 2 (01:14:36):
I say i MEAN when i say, never tell certainly.
People know, oh.
Speaker 5 (01:14:40):
YEAH that's i don't. Say what i'm just not gonna
put them into. A microphone well.
Speaker 2 (01:14:43):
That's the, thing IS like i don't KNOW if i
can put them into. A microphone, all right let's get
to Our, buddy juice who is getting ready for a
week twelve OF. THE nfl i can just get it,
back there, He. Is jews how are?
Speaker 1 (01:14:57):
You man, so guys how you doing? The patients sorry,
about that no little technicality trying to.
Speaker 2 (01:15:03):
Come, on no it's it's. MY fault i sent it,
very LATE and i apologize. FOR that i get Talking
with danny, at times and, you know we just could
wrapped up in our. Own, World yeah juice looks like
he's at like at some club. La, freak yeah, like
no but like at some cool sports bar in. His
basement he's got three mounted flat screens TVs On a
is that a fake brick wall or a real? Brick
(01:15:25):
wall it, Looks great oh, you, could yeah a faux,
brick wall but it, looks fantastic like they really. Make
that remember the old fake brick people? Get it who?
It was probically linoleum they put on their. Their, wall
yeah they do it outside their house. Called stucco but
this looks fantastic and it looks like you do stand
up at. His, house yeah, all right you hear the
(01:15:45):
one ABOUT.
Speaker 1 (01:15:46):
Uh i call this this is uh this bar that
we put in about a. Year ago it's Called The
speakeasy juice is speak easy.
Speaker 2 (01:15:55):
And do you have you have to knock and everything
you get a little uh secret and secret word to get.
In there, All right i'd like.
Speaker 1 (01:16:01):
To have you guys down. HERE sometimes i think we.
Speaker 2 (01:16:03):
Should do a Podcast from. JUICES place i would love
that when the, playoffs hit we we go down and do.
A podcast squeeze. The, juices, yeah yeah squeeze. The juice?
All right so, last week how did? You do because
we're too and four said he? Wasn't bad? All right
(01:16:27):
but what two?
Speaker 1 (01:16:28):
OF them, I mean i'm not. PICKING loser i mean
none of them were. Really bad Like the chiefs had
they not missed that extra. Point Buckner the broncos don't
kick those field goals and that's a four, point game
and that game totally. Changed everything that missed. Field goal
(01:16:48):
fuck that. Thing up so that. Was Tough h the,
other Ones the rams they, got home they just they
didn't cover. The, spread houston they didn't cover. The spread,
they Won, the vikings they just, you know McCarthy is
just not not good. At all that.
Speaker 4 (01:17:06):
Was that he's got to.
Speaker 1 (01:17:07):
Come on but, hey man we own it two and
four and we're beat but. Not beaten we're time to.
Speaker 2 (01:17:12):
Go back, all right here we go. Back again, so
juice we'll start with the game. TOMORROW night, i mean
are you picking? That one It's the bills And. The
texans there's a lot of people who Love The buffalo
bills and are a bit concerned about this game As
the texans technically have the the number one defense IN
(01:17:32):
the nfl with some really great. Backfield play they got
some good.
Speaker 1 (01:17:37):
Quarterbacks there it's that's gonna be tough. For SURE and
i Think and dan could probably back me up. On
This the bills have lost the last Five. In, Houston
right they haven't won there SINCE Probably jp lossman in early.
Speaker 2 (01:17:49):
Two.
Speaker 5 (01:17:49):
Thousands, right yeah people keep showing the highlight Of the
lossman win where He Hit lee evans for two touchdowns
and had over t tow hundredards passing and still needed
a Touchdown From lee evans to win the game In
six they have.
Speaker 4 (01:17:59):
A beat they have there in.
Speaker 5 (01:18:00):
Nineteen, Years wow jesus And the texans are only like
twenty two.
Speaker 1 (01:18:05):
Years, old yeah, so well and they're uh the game
do you remember was it? Last Year the texans And.
The bills McDermott three straight passes gave them the ball
back with twenty. Seconds left they kicked a forty eight
yard field goal.
Speaker 2 (01:18:19):
To, win well they were on their own one.
Speaker 5 (01:18:20):
Yard line it was kind of it, was unprecedented.
Speaker 4 (01:18:23):
So, terrible yeah that.
Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
Was one of the worst Clock managements i've. Ever seen
that was that. Was, horrible yeah it, was.
Speaker 5 (01:18:33):
Tough but nobody'd ever been in that. Situation BEFORE so i, was,
like well what what do? YOU do, i mean so
they couldn't run the ball, That day they're trying to
get down the field. TO score, I mean i didn't
kill McDermott. FOR that a lot of people on this.
SHOW did i Didn't because, i'm, like, well what that.
Was unprecedented nobody had ever been in that situation. Like
that and then the kid hit a sixty three.
Speaker 2 (01:18:52):
YARDER unreal i, mean Literally but.
Speaker 1 (01:18:58):
I'm gonna treat staying. Away TOMORROW and i really Don't like,
thursday games Especially. THE bills, i Mean the bills would
be the ONLY side I Think davis mills can't can't get.
Behind him so maybe Look for bills live if they go.
Down early, You know josh does his heroics again, and
uh you know we'll. See, THAT.
Speaker 2 (01:19:17):
Yeah i mean some of those heroics were. Pretty, good,
so uh they were fun to WATCH and i loved
he Was loved DAWs after, the, game saying you don't
watch to, be bored so you. Love that that's as.
Speaker 1 (01:19:29):
Bad as you can play with scoring, six, Touchdowns, right no.
Speaker 8 (01:19:33):
That's unbelievable that's great that only three PLAYERS in nfl
history have all for three rush for three in the,
same game with two of them Are Named. Josh allen
The others Auto, gra yeah go out of.
Speaker 2 (01:19:45):
The street go anybody Hear Of? Otto gram what Was The?
Speaker 1 (01:19:48):
Auto? Graham uh what was the other game he did?
That again was That the rams?
Speaker 2 (01:19:52):
Last? Year yeah and They Lost super Bowl Preview? Rams
BILLS maybe i said that?
Speaker 4 (01:19:59):
Last? Year?
Speaker 2 (01:20:00):
Maybe, uh juice who do you like In The cults
Chiefs game sunday. One o'clock we're.
Speaker 1 (01:20:06):
Going, back, well, okay okay remember, We SAID remember, I
Said daniel jones is you know the mask has? Come off.
He is we're starting to See The New. York Giants.
Daniel jones the last couple, of weeks he's been, YOU
know i think he's got like six interceptions and three
fumbles the last. Two games so he's starting, to come,
you know show his. True colors and they're Going. To
(01:20:28):
arrowhead this is essentially a playoff game For. The chiefs
they have got to win THIS and i think. They.
Do uh the only thing that might Keep the indie
in this game Is If jonathan taylor goes, off again
which he's. Been, doing UH but i don't see that
being enough to take Down the Chiefs. In arrowheads so
we'll Take the chiefs minus three and.
Speaker 2 (01:20:48):
A half, All? Right uh who else you take me to?
The games? Did? YOU uh i. Don't know if you
want to go to a.
Speaker 1 (01:20:54):
Lock of, the week say we'll do the lock at.
The end another another game that we're going. To, take
now this, is ugly but this team has been good
to us and they're better than. Their record but we're
gonna be Taking the saints minus one and a half
Against The. Atlanta Falcons the falcons, Are done, They're dead
they're they're signed off back to back. Overtime losses their
(01:21:17):
defense is. Just gas they're on the field forty plus minutes,
every Game and penix is out now for, The Season
drake london's, not playing and they just they have zero Offense,
aside bijehn which, you Know the saints they got to.
Run DEFENSE so i don't see that. Happening much so
we're gonna Take the saints minus one and. A, half okay?
Speaker 2 (01:21:40):
ARE you i hope out a lot of. The week
i'm not gonna stumble. Upon it But The eagles cowboys
game could be something that. Is Interesting the cowboys certainly,
looked GOOD and i know there was a lot of
emotion in the game, and so but what have they looked?
Speaker 4 (01:21:53):
Pretty good to Call for jill and hurts his Head?
Speaker 2 (01:21:55):
In, philadelphia, yeah yeah why they.
Speaker 4 (01:21:58):
Don't think he's they don't think he's a.
Speaker 1 (01:21:59):
Real quarterback no that that off that offense. IS broken,
i mean their defense is, trending up their offense is.
Trending down they're just They're a they're a weird team. This,
year yes they're winning games and they're they're getting, it
done but they're just, you know they're they're just. NOT
good i don't think SO if i were to. Take
that i'm not taking, this game BUT if, I were
(01:22:22):
i would Take the cowboys at home in. THE points
i think, they're trending starting to trend Up ceedee lamb
And uh pickens look very good as Long as dak
can get a good. CLEAN pocket i think it's very
hard to stop.
Speaker 2 (01:22:34):
Those, guys, okay uh where else are you?
Speaker 1 (01:22:38):
Looking another this might be one of the most ugly
games of, the year but there's money to be made,
on it and It's the raiders minus three and a.
Half again.
Speaker 5 (01:22:51):
Should door SANDERS making i felt bad?
Speaker 2 (01:22:54):
For SURE should i not feel bad?
Speaker 1 (01:22:56):
For?
Speaker 2 (01:22:57):
YOU feel i felt bad for him because he hasn't worked,
with that, you know but like somebody hit on.
Speaker 5 (01:23:01):
The Head tom brady had two reps before he stepped Into.
Speaker 1 (01:23:04):
Qu.
Speaker 7 (01:23:06):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (01:23:06):
Thank, You, yeah no you're right.
Speaker 1 (01:23:08):
This game this game is going to. Be atrocious there's gonna, be, sacks.
FUMBLES interceptions i think this goes. UNDER too i think
it's maybe at thirty, six now which is. EXTREMELY low
i think it stays under and Like the raiders minus
three and, A half i don't See the browns doing
a freaking thing In this sanders is god awful and
(01:23:30):
he's gonna be running for. His Life max crosby may
SET an nfl record for sacks in a Game.
Speaker 4 (01:23:36):
On sunday saying that.
Speaker 3 (01:23:39):
Sacks because there's gonna be if if there's a prop
for like over under on turnovers in, this game.
Speaker 1 (01:23:50):
TAKE it i mean you might see just upwards to,
you know maybe. Double digit if.
Speaker 5 (01:23:55):
You, bet touchdowns you could bet a defensive touchdown for
this game and might like come.
Speaker 1 (01:24:00):
Up, big, yep absolutely or even interceptions from both quarterbacks,
throw something, you know goofy, in there uh trudor throwing
an interception and he will fumble the.
Speaker 2 (01:24:10):
Ball, Once, whoa okay that's some good choice going out on?
A limb is?
Speaker 7 (01:24:16):
He?
Speaker 2 (01:24:17):
Is? He really that's still a heck of. A limb,
i mean by, the way by, the way, all right,
let's clean, ALL right i gotta.
Speaker 1 (01:24:25):
Is gonna Lose When, max, crosby.
Speaker 5 (01:24:30):
Dude yesterday was the or today's. The anniversary by the
time you listen to it will be yesterday is. The
anniversary one of the most infamous Performances In buffalo.
Speaker 4 (01:24:38):
Bill's history.
Speaker 5 (01:24:39):
Twenty seventeen everybody got so excited that this guy was
going to go start a quarterback for a team that
was five.
Speaker 2 (01:24:46):
AND four i had a chance to make.
Speaker 5 (01:24:48):
The playoffs and that quarterback's Day Was. Nathan peterman this
was today's the anniversary of his five.
Speaker 4 (01:24:54):
Interception, performance.
Speaker 2 (01:24:58):
Yeah wasn't it against the at, the Time The San,
diego chargers.
Speaker 4 (01:25:02):
Although they WERE.
Speaker 2 (01:25:02):
In la but they're playing with a. Soccer.
Speaker 4 (01:25:04):
Stadium YEAH oh i thought they were In.
Speaker 5 (01:25:06):
Sand, no no they had MOVED. To la they couldn't
find a place. To live so they were playing in
this like twenty thousand seat. Soccer stadium they were charging
these ridiculous prices, for tickets but that's what they, Were, playing.
Speaker 2 (01:25:16):
Yes only so they got in. True, fans yeah they picked.
Them up they picked them off. Five times i'll never.
Forget it.
Speaker 5 (01:25:23):
Five times people have actually believed in.
Speaker 4 (01:25:25):
This, dude yeah that's the that's the that's the.
Speaker 2 (01:25:27):
Scary part he Was, Petermann.
Speaker 1 (01:25:30):
Peter, all right what else, You.
Speaker 2 (01:25:32):
Got douce we're.
Speaker 1 (01:25:35):
Also going to Take The Tampa. Bay, buccaneers, OKAY okay
i Like. The, rams Yeah it's. Baker going.
Speaker 2 (01:25:44):
Baker.
Speaker 1 (01:25:45):
Fights man he they're they're in, every game and he
just doesn't.
Speaker 2 (01:25:49):
GIVE up i was so impressed even watching him Against.
THE bills i. REALLY was, i go that guy is. A,
gamer man he is.
Speaker 1 (01:25:56):
A game, i mean they they they covered Against the
bills for three quarters and comfortably so and then it just,
you know the wheels. Fell Off But i'll i'll take
them plus seven Against the rams, big time, you know Because,
THE rams i mean they had four turnovers and they
barely Beat. The seahawks that was a. Great Game, ON sunday,
I was i still Think the rams. ARE good i
(01:26:17):
just think this game is going to be, extremely Close
and I'll take i'll take seven if you're giving it, to.
Speaker 2 (01:26:21):
Me, All right and? What else what's another game we're.
Speaker 1 (01:26:25):
Gonna take and this is solely Based On aaron, Rodgers
plans so we're gonna try and get ahead of, the
NUMBER because i think if they say that, he is
this goes down to like a like. A pick but
we'll Take the steelers getting two and a half Against The.
Chicago Bears the bears they're, winning games but man by.
Not much they have not really had an. IMPRESSIVE blowout,
(01:26:48):
i mean all their games are way. Too CLOSE and
I think rogers he traditionally does and has done very
well Against the bears dating back To his, Packers' days
so we're gonna take him to. THE points i think
he's gonna play in this because if he, WASN'T playing
i think they already would have announced. It OUT but
i think he's gonna.
Speaker 2 (01:27:06):
Give it a he doesn't.
Speaker 5 (01:27:07):
Need, Surgery, no no it's his left, Rist TOO and
i really.
Speaker 1 (01:27:13):
Don't think his. His legacy he wants to go down
WITH another.
Speaker 2 (01:27:16):
I don't i thought the, same. THING juice i figured
this is it if he if he had surgery in,
season ending its. Career ending so we're.
Speaker 1 (01:27:24):
Gonna see we're gonna see a great effort out Of,
the STEELERS and i think that Defensive Cause kaneleb williams
to make a couple of turnovers to. Close game, you
know could come down to a. Field Goal and i'll
take the better kicker too, in uh Which the.
Speaker 2 (01:27:39):
Steelers have all, right now you got, me curious what's
your lock of?
Speaker 1 (01:27:42):
The week lock of the week is a team that
hasn't played in prime time in, two years.
Speaker 2 (01:27:50):
Hasn't played in prime time in, two years so there's
prime time to, you like uh? Like, game, YEAH no i,
GOT it I got I know i, WOULD well i thought.
Speaker 1 (01:28:03):
For never this is also a team that has six wins,
this year is. An underdog they're the most profitable team
on the money line this year IN. The nfl, Any idea.
Speaker 2 (01:28:17):
I'm gonna Say The, carolina, panthers boom.
Speaker 1 (01:28:19):
There, you go bang well.
Speaker 2 (01:28:22):
PLUS seven i knew none of what he, was saying
but it's the it's the fact that they haven't played
in two years in prime TIME and, i, went oh That's.
The PANTHERS but i would have never even thought of
this one as a lot of. The week why is.
Speaker 1 (01:28:36):
It just it's they're playing? Good. Football uh and if
you're gonna be seven points against the forty, nine, ERS
yeah i mean the forty nine ers. Are, There yes,
purty's back but their defense has still got a ton.
Of holes, And Uh bryce young looked pretty Good on
sunday through for almost five. HUNDRED yards i think they're.
Trending UP and i think this is a, Huge game
(01:28:59):
monday night game and we're gonna Take the panthers. PLUS
seven i like this one, a lot.
Speaker 2 (01:29:04):
All, Right, Wow okay so what do We got danny so?
Speaker 5 (01:29:08):
To review he's Got the panthers taking On the niners and,
beating them getting a Touchdown In. Santa clara he's Got
the Bucks in la with the six and a half Over.
The rams he's got To the saints Giving the falcons
one and a half at home and saying, screw it
they're gonna.
Speaker 4 (01:29:25):
Win anyway he's Got.
Speaker 5 (01:29:27):
The raiders taking The The raiders browns game going under in?
This one did you did you make a pick on that?
Speaker 2 (01:29:33):
One too?
Speaker 4 (01:29:34):
Or no did you just SAY that?
Speaker 1 (01:29:35):
I didn't if you're putting, THEM in. I wouldn't i
would say what do you got for?
Speaker 2 (01:29:38):
The under thirty six and? A, half.
Speaker 1 (01:29:42):
Yeah throw it.
Speaker 7 (01:29:42):
In.
Speaker 4 (01:29:42):
There okay so he's got the under.
Speaker 5 (01:29:44):
For that and then he's Got the steelers Over the
bears plus two and a Half. In chicago he's Got
the chiefs at home laying three and a half To.
Speaker 4 (01:29:54):
The Colts that's those are the picks for.
Speaker 1 (01:29:56):
The.
Speaker 4 (01:29:56):
Weekend okay brought to You By. FanDuel no brought To my.
Speaker 1 (01:30:02):
Dan drafts the crown.
Speaker 2 (01:30:04):
Is, YOURS yes I want i want to start our
own gambling Thing Called DAN. Dual dandu.
Speaker 1 (01:30:12):

i'm going to give you a bonus one.
Speaker 2 (01:30:17):
College, pick, hey, now okay College Pick, Notre Dame.
Speaker 1 (01:30:24):
Notre dame minus thirty and. A. Half, Syracuse yep syracuse
is starting? Why laughing did you know? This?
Speaker 2 (01:30:33):

release in college? YESTERDAY today I only i don't follow.
COLLEGE football I guess i don't really follow SPORTS like i. Used,
to UH but i caught the Thing About notre dame
(01:30:54):
being Ranked above alabama because of really the strength and
schedule what people. Were saying and then, they, go no
it was because while they both Lost, to Miami the
alabama was blown out in that, first GAME and i
Don't Think notre. Dame WAS and i think, that, no, no.
Speaker 5 (01:31:14):
No notre dame Lost, to miami and they Lost TO
texas a and m the first two games of. The
season they've won. Ever, since Okay but alabama Lost To.

a and m are.
Speaker 2 (01:31:37):
Like, Ranked Yes florida state is not even, ranked anymore
And so miami hasn't Played. IN alabama i thought.

The thing about college football, and juice you could attest
to this. College football the later the, season goes the greater.

two losses were to like teams that only Have LIKE
texas a and m has not lost, this Year and
miami's lost Twice and miami's like ANOTHER story i can
tell you.
Speaker 1 (01:33:12):
