Bill welcomes Dan back to the studio for a wide-ranging conversation that dives into everything from the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk to the lighter side of sports and community.

The show opens with Bill and Dan reflecting on the shocking loss of conservative activist and Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University. Dan shares how deeply this event affected him, while Bill highlights Kirk’s ability to challenge people’s thinking and why this moment is such a painful blow to free speech in America.

From there, the guys shift gears to radio memories, including emails about Brother Wease, and the possibility of a Gen X TikTok guest. Dan recalls his personal interactions with Wease and the pride of having his writing praised in the Times of Wayne County.

Next up, Bill and Dan welcome Peter Montemurno for a breakdown of the Buffalo Bills’ season-opening win, analyzing what went right, what went wrong, and what needs fixing if the team hopes to stay competitive.

The episode also features a visit from The Dawgs, a band that plays exclusively for charities. They share details about an upcoming event supporting Best Buddies, a nonprofit making a big impact on the Rochester community.

Finally, Bill and Dan unpack a bizarre viral story about a Philadelphia Phillies fan and a home run ball that sparked unexpected drama. Bill even singles out the one person he’d most like to interview in the whole situation—the husband who tried to stay out of the spotlight.

Packed with heartfelt reflection, sports talk, community stories, and plenty of laughs, this episode of Billified is not to be missed.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
When your old career gives you lemons throwing some ice
mix in some vodka. Color a podcast from the Mac
of All Trade Studio in Fairport and driven by Victor
Chrysler Dots Gee Ram, It's Billified, The Bill Moran Podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Hello and Welcome, Yelling Hello, Hello, Hello and welcome, and
thanks for getting your pot on. Hello East Rochester. Thank
you for telling a friend he's Rochester, Fairport, Penfield, Pittsburg.
I really hope Passy, Florida.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
I really hope we keep Fairport in Rochester as secret.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Channa. Oh yeah, yeah, well like he's Rochester still is
a bit of a secret. It is a little piece
of grease that broke up.

Speaker 3 (01:06):
Wow, check that out.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Uh, Danny is here tonight and uh kind of a
weird news.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:16):
Charlie Kirk Jamison came running out of his room and goes,
oh my god, look at this, And it was Charlie
Kirk getting shot in the neck. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
I saw the video, but I didn't. I didn't want to.
It just came across Oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
And they shot him in the neck. On campus in Utah.
It looked like there was a large contingency of people.
They don't have the person who shot him. At this
time of the recording, I thought they got him, and
they said they thought they didn't. They had some old
guy it wasn't him who was screaming this is my rights,

(01:51):
my rights, something like that. And it turns out they
don't think it was that guy. So they're saying that
the person still was. Whoever it is, is the hell
of a shot because as they they said, it was
from two hundred yards away, so it's a marksman of
some kind.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Look, I mean I have a lot of thoughts on
this because I think there are a lot of people
who didn't like Charlie Kirk just because he was smug.
He would go out and you know kind of he
was smug. Yeah, oh yeah, I didn't get smug from
Charlie Kirk. Yeah, he was always right, especially because he

(02:27):
was always right. Well, but see that's smug because he's
doing it in this smug way and he's not always right.
And he used a lot of racist language at times.
I mean, I have a whole video that someone sent
me a while ago, way before this of him yelling
the Chinese slurs at the Chinese student on a stage,
like getting up and screaming. I mean, that's not cool. Well,
that's what I'm saying. So I think I.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
See I've I've never seen any of that.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
I have it.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
I'm only because I'm only come to know who Charlie
Kirk was in the last eight months.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
Yeah, so, but uh, he's a thirty one year old
conservative guy who is a varying against DEI and things
and really just says but he'll say things like this
is the stuff that I think it becomes provocative, inflammatory,
and it's done for entertainment and that. But obviously it

(03:21):
went too far. When he says things on stage or
at college campus. Is when I see a black pilot,
I really hope that they're the best for the job. Now,
what he's saying is DEI shouldn't be in existence. We
should have the most qualified person, no matter what. But
by saying the black pilot, you're just inflaming people. You

(03:44):
are just absolutely one hundred trying to get under their skin.
There's no other way to say that. If you say,
if you said, I see the pilot, and I hope
it's the most qualified person for the job, no qualifier
on what the coilot looks like. It's a different story.
When you say black pilot dandy, you cannot argue in
any way, shape or form that that's not inflammatory and

(04:05):
trying to get under somebody's sta I've.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Heard people say, I hope I see an old pilot,
Yeah for experience. Yeah, if I see a young pilot,
I cringe. I've heard that. How is that any different?

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Well, because you're saying that the black person isn't as
smart as what you're saying.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
I understand that. But the thing was like that, and
I don't agree with that statement at all by any means.
What I'm saying, though, is that, like I mean, he
would say stuff like that, Yeah, it would flamm people, right,
But the point is like he would say that about
a lot of different people.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Okay, would say right.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
His whole thing was like, look, meritocracy, yes, period, Yes,
doesn't matter who you are what you are, right, if
you're the best person for the job or the best
person for the role, that then you should have the role.
There shouldn't be any shortcuts. Nobody should move to the
head of the line of any other qualifications.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
But my point is that you have to remember he's
an entertainer. He's trying to get views.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
Yes, yeah, trying to get He's like a radio host.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
So he had that. But what I don't like sometimes
too is like people getting so angry or so impassioned.
In academia, there's something called a peer review. And what
a peer review does is it basically takes a research

(05:22):
paper you wrote or research you conducted yourself, and it
rips it to fucking shreds and pokes holes in it.
And if that's what higher learning is supposed to be,
then I liked what Charlie was doing because even if
you don't agree with the methodology, and again I only

(05:43):
bring up the things like the black pipes because it
was I don't think you're saying that unless you're trying
to get attention. You know what I mean in that form?

Speaker 4 (05:53):
Right?

Speaker 3 (05:53):
So well, given the given the format now that people
live in, well like like you said, the barrier to
the entries, right, so like when you look at for
YouTube and getting attention, you're going to say something like, oh, sure,
I get it. I'm saying I get but I'm not
justifying it and.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Just calling it out for what what that is. I'm
not saying that the guy is right or wrong. I'm
simply laying it out there, but that I am going
to say it was inflammating.

Speaker 3 (06:16):
Yeah, that's inflammatory, okay.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
But when he would go on and and debate college
students and stuff, I you know, and some people would
get very angry. And there's a good Well, I liked
it because it was like a peer review. It was
like a peer review, someone taking your stuff. And you
don't have to do agree with Charlie. But maybe Charlie

(06:39):
made you think about why you're saying what you're saying.
And maybe and maybe it made you even do a
little more research and go, oh, wait, here's really why
I'm saying it. Maybe it made you more entrenched in
your own stance. But firmer like you now you you
actually went backwork. Yeah, do you know what I'm saying?

(06:59):
And and that sort of thing, and I and those
are the things that are like I kind of like that.
And it's interesting to watch. And clearly a lot of
people liked it because the guy had millions of views,
millions millions of views on YouTube.

Speaker 3 (07:12):
From both sides too. It wasn't just like you know,
because like like the conservatives loved them, but the left
wan to like watch his stuff to see what he
was going to say, next right, kind of like that
Howard's throne.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
I guess I would assume that it was everybody right.
I don't know anybody's you know, most of words aren't.
I guess I can look at some people and go
that person's then.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Yeah, we can do that.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
But he uh, But I liked it. And when he
was on college campuses, it was huge. I mean it
was it was big stuff that in terms of crowds. Now,
the thing that I always worry about with college camp
that is the area for those kind of debates. That's
where those kind of discussions should be happening, and it
should be open. And again, you don't have to walk

(07:57):
away agreeing, you know, but it does make you think.
And I think sometimes we aren't thinking idea enough, critically
supposed to think what. I don't like love or hate him.
And Jamison was not a fan. And he came out
to me and he goes, God, I feel so bad,
And I said, yeah, you should. You should feel awful.

(08:18):
And I said, and I'll be quite honest with you.
What I don't want to see happen is like he
becomes a martyr for the right in a way and
in some inflammatory sense, I mean, this is the type
of thing it's not going to I hope, but that
leads to civil wars because we're going to say a
friend of the presidente Charlie Kirk.

Speaker 3 (08:41):
A lot of people credit with helping get Trump elected.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
By but rallying the young bass right young. He's thirty one,
and he was on college campuses and things, so younger people.
He may have changed some people's political thinking. He really
could have. I just I hate the fact that this
guy was assassinated, I murdered. I I maybe save assassination

(09:06):
for leaders and things and he wasn't that, but that
he was murdered, I find it. It like makes my
stomach hurt. To be quite honest with.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
You, I'm pretty sick over it. And like when you
walked in, when I walked in, you were kind of like, hey,
what's up. Think about Charlie Kirk. And I'm only again,
I've only come to know this guy the last eight months, okay,
especially around election time. I never saw the video where
he was, you know, inflaming you know, Asians or whatever.
I don't even think about that. But I know this.
I know he was a Christian man. I know that

(09:34):
he also unlike I'm gonna name some names here. He
wasn't trying. He wasn't an alarmist like Glenn Beck or
Alex Jones. He wasn't a guy who walked around with
guns like Louder with Crowder. He wasn't a dude who
just wanted to make everything about race like Klay Travis.
And by the way, every one of those people I
mentioned lean right. I can name some left leaning people,

(09:56):
but you wouldn't get it, not you personally, just talking
with the audience. But the point is, though, is that
he would have a dialogue and discussion with anybody who
would do it, and he would do it in a
civil way from what I saw, And no, I didn't
get the ASI. But the point is, though it.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
Was on a stage where he started to I live
in my capitalist society, blah blah blah you and then
he used anasians learning and screaming it in the microphone
like he crashed out, he's up running. It was not
a good look. No, that wouldn't be a good look.

Speaker 3 (10:24):
But my point is, though, is that he was all about,
at least from what I saw, civil discourse and hey,
bring facts to the table and we can discuss them
as human beings. And I feel like on the well,
by the time everybody listens to this, it will be
the twenty fourth anniversary of the darkest day of our generation. Yeah,
nine to eleven, a day that everybody likes to stump

(10:44):
and go, we will never forget, even though we really
forgot like a year and a day later. And here
civil discourse, if there was any left, like if it
didn't die, it's on life support right now in this country. Well, yeah,
because now people who are like Charlie may be more
likely to shut up because they don't want to get

(11:04):
to sassinated. I hope not.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
I don't think so. I think that there's too many independent.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
I mean James O'Keefe, the head of O'Keefe Media, who's
exposed a lot of people in the last couple of years, said,
if the price isn't your life, you'll always be up
for sale. And the price was Charlie's life, and he
was fearless. Yeah, and I'm gonna admire that about him.
And I hope that you know that we can use

(11:32):
this point as if we didn't do it a week
before with another shooting in a school or anything else.
Can we finally come to our freaking senses in this
country and just talk and come to the table and
talk like human beings. But unfortunately the emotional side, the
irrational side, likes to leave the rational side.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
It doesn't seem like we can. And I think there's
a lot of that. You could sort of blame on
social media being oh yeah that I have my base
and therefore I'm right all these people cheering me on
and doing that sort of thing. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
I mean to think about the Second Gulf War. We
didn't have social media when George Bush, in his infinite
wisdom decided to carry the country into a war because
Rocks supposedly had weapons of mass destruction and was somehow
responsible for part of nine to eleven when none of
that was true.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
Well, I like, I don't know, we all thought it
was sort of a dad in the original stuff that
went on, which was the Golf War, that.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
First golf Yeah, yeah, I'm talking about the second.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Golf w you know, and took that out.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
I thinks I'm some conservative. I mean that was BS.
I'm just being fair. I'm just I just want to
just be clear about this. So, like civil discourse took
a bullet today, and I'm I'm sick over that. I'm
sick for Charlie. I'm sick for his family. But I
do know that he walked into the arms of his
Lord and Savior today.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
I don't know about I'm so sure to that civil discourse.
I would think that free freedom of speech would be
one that I would say more so than civil discourse,
because therefore, if now I'm afraid to talk because people
are shooting guns, then you've quieted me down. I've lost

(13:15):
my freedom of speech. I mean, it's fear base, but
it's it would be that. I don't even know, because
I'm not sure that all that was always civil discourse either.
It was a lot of yelling and screaming on both
sides and some of the videos either way, just somebody
who made you think and challenged the way people operate,
I think is a pretty good thing overall.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
But and I saw that, and I saw the video
and didn't even mean to look for the video. Yeah,
I was looking for other stuff, and I'm like, oh my,
oh my gosh.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
Yeah, yeah, I thought it was fake at first. I
mean I did, I honestly well, So then I had
to go google it and I found out. So, yeah, well,
lightening it up a little bit, Danny, just a little bit.
I had a uh, somebody wrote me, oh.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
Good, what go ahead?

Speaker 2 (14:06):
I just have people textingly crazy the uh you know
a lot of texts show are just texting you both,
not me me? Okay me, yeah, because we're not a
live Oh okay, I haven't been going.

Speaker 3 (14:21):
Somebody asked me about that. Yeah, Billy, I miss him
at six o'clock.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Who's that? Well, we could go back to it. I
had bro six o'clock.

Speaker 3 (14:29):
Man, it's like the news that turn on Billy.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
Where have you guys been, I've been home at two o'clock? Yeah?
Is it? No, it's it's a guy named Robert. Oh,
you're a huge fan of the podcast. Okay, well, then
I guess I should love your work. I guess I
should go back. I don't know. I hadn't, but I
got a uh.

Speaker 3 (14:48):
It's just one person's opinion, that's all.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
No, it's it's it's there's been a couple of people. Okay. Yeah.
When I say a couple of people, i'm a half
dozen and a half dozen closer to a dozen. I
mentioned that, which isn't a lot, right, So I just go, yeah,
I'm not there.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
Sure.

Speaker 3 (15:04):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
But we did a lot of stuff, you know, with
radio and the wee stuff. And I got this email
saying that this person really liked the episode with Bull
and Soldier.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Oh my gosh, the wei's talk here has been great.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Did you okay? So it's been fantastic. I got thoughts
to somebody sent me to a guy named oh no,
I do John Wellington, better known to five million followers
as the dad Bod veteran veteran okay, and he's local.
I guess in the navy. So I went in the navy.

(15:40):
He went to his TikTok page. Let's see if I can.
We're still recording here, yes, okay, I want to. I
went to his TikTok page and he talks I think
with an accent, but like he duets. I don't know
how to do well. I guess I do, But he
duets videos or comments so you'll hear like this woman
talk and then he comments, but he talks with an

(16:03):
odd accent. This is him. Wait, this is I want
one to one with the where's the woman? They are
right here here?

Speaker 6 (16:11):
You go straight out of my assh. Well, if I
let him, and I hope that kind of love my husband,
we need a peanut butter and jelly sandwich straight out
of my ass. While if I let him, and I
hope that kind of love finds each in every one
of you.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Here he's just standing there stairs. Look here goes.

Speaker 7 (16:29):
Just because you've prepared a colinarioscopy for your husband mean
that he does love you. It means a number one,
he has a sick affinity for Peter butter and jelly sandwich.
Theres a number two. You're not poferbly putting them on
a plate for him. Either way, if the mississ ever
expects that from me, and if she quantifies that as love,
I can tell her she can go pack a lunch
Peter butter and jelly sandwich included and take a hike,

(16:51):
because I don't love her like that. And to be
honest with you, that is not a demonstration of love
by any stretch of the imagination. No, it's something much, much,
much different that you really don't need to share with
us on the Internet.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
To be honest with you, So he's a gen X
guy and I'm finding out that. So I perused his TikTok.
I've not seen the guy. The man has anywhere from
twenty eight point eight thousand views on videos to one
and fifty right, he's all over the place, but mostly higher.

(17:28):
And then he was part of I Know who's the
guy who does song lyrics? He's a gen X guy,
older guy, a black gentleman, professor, somebody calls himself and
he's on TikTok and he's in. They did like a
gen X TikTok event. Oh really, they fucking all got
together Like, I'm like, I gotta find out about this

(17:50):
dude that work.

Speaker 3 (17:50):
Yeah, getting that impressive.

Speaker 2 (17:52):
They were all going to like some Bedford, Massachusetts or something.
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
Actually I actually know people at Bedford because.

Speaker 2 (17:59):
I would be amazing. I was like, this is so weird,
so hopefully he'll come on. Uh. The person wrote a
really nice email about how much they loved that episode
and liked the podcast and think this guy would be
a good guy to have on and.

Speaker 3 (18:12):
Dem areniles so that would be it. I know, you
get big at the cake foughts. Me explained, Well, this
is at.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Chris Polizzi still sends me cake farts stuff, does he? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (18:21):
For my birthday? Wh happy birthday. That's funny and I've
been joining the Weis dialogue this week.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Yes, what did you want to say about Brother we
You were just recently on you were, you were there,
you made the cut just before, just before the comet
burned out.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
Back in two thousand and six, my pal Brad Davies
took a job in Houston, Texas, and he was the
first midday host ever knocked Jim Rome out of number one,
and then Rome kind of subsequently fell from grace from there,
not fell from grace, but he just he just this
isn't as big as used to be. And that was
the first nail in the coffin. But somebody had to
replace Brad Davies at at w H t K, and
that person became John Detulio or John to Tulio. Had

(19:08):
to come from somewhere, and he came from Brother Weez's show.
So I go to John, I go, hey, listen, you
got this show. I kind of wanted to do it,
but you got to congratulations. That's cool.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
Are there is?

Speaker 3 (19:17):
We's looking for somebody to replace you because I'd love
to And he goes, talk daddy, Yeah, let me talk
to him, and he and Rich Dull ram Fan went
to brother Weiz and told them about me. So brother
we meets me out at TC Hooligan's Webster and we
start talking and he introduces me to Scott Metcalf and
a few other people, Tony d you know yeah, and

(19:42):
he goes, probably, yeah, let me break it in for
an interview. So I have to meet with Stan Maine,
and I mean, well, at first I wasn't sure. So
sure some sitting now, I'm dressed up for a radio
interview for the WII show. I don't go to tie on,
but I'm looking respectable. And then Stan Maine comes off
the elevator and the receptionist goes, this gentleman here to
see you. His name is Dan Burrello, who like he

(20:04):
kind of was kind of taken aback by it. I go, yeah,
I'm here to meet with you and mister Weez you know,
and that, oh yeah, okay, And at first he didn't
know how to he didn't know what to expect from me.
But we's kept like talking about my show's Britt injured. Bro,
it's been injured. They came after my guy. I gotta
hit back. So I started, well stance like, well what
do you do? I go, well, I host a Sunday

(20:26):
talk show, I produced the Wham Morning News, I produced
this other show, I did traffic, I do all these
other things. And he goes, you know, Billy needs help.
Billy needs a lot of help, because you know, we
got a pretty expensive show and nobody's doing anything except Billy, right,
And from the looks of things, I got the impression, yeah,
nobody was working with Billy. And he goes and Stanming,

(20:46):
he goes, you know, that might be you're in. That
may be your you're in. Let's see if we can talk. So, uh,
they couldn't hire me because the merger with it, you know,
I didn't even meet you yet.

Speaker 2 (20:57):
No, uh, they didn't.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
They didn't. They couldn' hire me because there was a
hiring freeze at the point Intercom had bought CBS at
that time those stations, and they couldn't do anything. Then
when I got let go by a clear channel, Bob
Lonsberry wrote, we he's a nice letter on my behalf
asking me to you know, asking him he could take
me on. And he told me to say and we said, yeah,
we're still stuck in a hiring freeze. You know. But

(21:19):
ten years later after I'm out of radio, and I
got no public champion, and everybody else in radio basically
told me to go f off because once you're out
of radio, you're a leper all of a sudden. We
at least I was. I don't know about you, but
I was like a leper.

Speaker 2 (21:30):
I have no idea what I am. I really don't.
I never cared enough.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
At least you had a fan base, yeah, a following.
I had me, but I had me, Billy. I had
me and Jesus. That was it.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
And the one guy, Jesus take the mic.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
The one guy who applauded my work in the times
of Wayne County was Brother Weez. And often often I
get text, bro, we just talking about you and what
I say he loves it. I don't know, but he
loves it. And that meant a lot to me. And
when he called me out of the blue, one that
I could tell you to Tulia wasn't on the show
that because he did a sports take about the Bills

(22:08):
Bears preseason game.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
He was are we are we are we in trouble?
And I'm like, no, We're not in trouble.

Speaker 3 (22:13):
But it was an honor to get his call, and
he was a champion of mine and I really appreciate it,
at least my writing. And I really I never got
to work with him. You did.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
I worked out.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
Obviously on the show with you that competed against Weeds
when he went over to the other station. But he's
the man, and I wish you would have gotten a
better send off.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
I just think that you can't have. I know why
it happened, Yeah, I know, I understand why it happened.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
Radio.

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Uh well, that sounds so callous and and sort of simplified, right.
Dave Kane retired, Dave Kane got a key to the city.
Dave Kane got off the concerts. And I'm not saying
that Dave was not deserving he got a Please understand that.

(23:03):
What I am saying is that brother Weez was there
long like I think, a little bit longer, and had
a bigger impact. He is in the National Radio Hall
of Fame, and it goes back to that. If you
want to, you will. But the problem also is that
corporate radio has gotten so big and they have given

(23:25):
one person multiple jobs.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
You know, he used to be well, you had like
six hundred jobs before you.

Speaker 2 (23:32):
I had a lot of things happening when I when
I was there and radio, the joke used to be
do your four and hit the door like it was
a four hour shift. You were in, you're out, like
people would leave.

Speaker 3 (23:43):
The dream job.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
We used to joke why we all got into it.
We used to joke with that people could catch themselves
in delay because they fucking ran out of the buildings
so bad because you ran in like a thirty second delay.
Or but look, I understand that. And so now you've
got like a market manager in Rochester who's seeing all
the way down the throughway, right, and you've got managers

(24:05):
in Rochester who are also managing people in Poughkeepsie, and
you've got people and so it's all these people doing
so many things, and there's nobody there that understands what
it takes to put something like that together. And I
said it, and I think that people. Mark asked me
who could do it, and he said stam Main and

(24:26):
then I said yeah, and I said, but actually no, me,
I could have done it. And I know that may
sound arrogant to people, and I don't mean to sound
like an arrogant asshole, but when I produced his show,
it was great and we I mean there were ways
you just had to put yet I think like him
sort of, so there was a way to make all
that work. And there would be ways to line up

(24:46):
the guests to keep it a surprise, to get the
money to fly them in to have you know what
I mean, and just do this one year long send
off as though you just announced Stephen Colbert will not
be back, you know what I'm saying. And I think
like that should have been done. It wasn't. But I
do think like there's so many moving parts. He's not
always in town. He does the show remotely, he doesn't.

(25:09):
That's that wasn't a secret. Uh so you know sometimes
he was here and he was coming into the building.
But you know, I just think that they it was mismataged,
It was mishandled. So it became a very very ugly
scene that day. And you go back to business versus
the rest of us. And when I say business versus

(25:30):
the rest of us, this business versus emotion is what
I'm really saying. Business is cold, they're not making money.
They had to make a change, and it had nothing
to do with weez. He was coming to the end
of his contract anyway, had to do with the station
as a whole. They weren't doing well. They had a
great show in the afternoon, and then they never had
another great show in the afternoon after kimber leamback. They didn't.
They just never had one that held the ratings. And

(25:50):
so that was a big That was a big chunk. Man,
what are you gonna do? And you lost? You know,
they moved. I'm not I wasn't there, not that, but
all those things were the part of it and they
couldn't hold it together. And that's it. I hate seeing
voices be silenced. I don't care who the voice was
or whatever, but they were local. That to me, yeah,

(26:12):
is an important thing. But outside and I know I'm
repeating myself for people who've listened to the other episodes, pologies,
but outside, no, outside of that, I just think that,
you know, it becomes it's a business man, and if
they're not making money, they're gonna find a way. The
shitty part about that is they there's no way. They
didn't know for months on end because they had to

(26:33):
do a music tech. There's all kinds of shits. So
it's kind of shitty that you're gonna blindside people, you're
affecting their lives, you're doing all that stuff. And BJ
laid it out pretty goodly.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
He did, Oh, I encourage everyone to go back and listen.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
To that one. That's somebody who's like in a radio
bats going. I woke up this morning and I opened
goddamn TikTok and you had it there. Now, the problem
was I had, you know, I'm going back for the masters.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
I retweeted that one or reposted it on Instagram.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
Of course you did.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
I don't post much on Instagram. They had the repost button.
I've been taking advantage and I reposted both every BJ
one that I saw, like, hey, listen to this douche bags.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
So he's right, go ahead. He had a lot to say.
But the weird part was I'm going back for the
master's degree. So I had class last night. So I thought, oh,
how am.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
I gonna make you're Rodney Dangerfield.

Speaker 2 (27:25):
Like the fifth versus A. No, it's fine.

Speaker 3 (27:28):
I know you're probably the same age to age faster
in the eighties.

Speaker 2 (27:32):
Yeah, I think you're right. I really do think you're right.
So I uh, at three o'clock, I cracked a red bull,
a large red bull, drank that man. I was great
all the way through. Then I came home crash. I couldn't.
Oh no, no, you knew I was wired for sound.
So I'm watching the I have the Uh well, that's

(27:53):
what happened to Fairport last the Dallas series that's going
that on Netflix. Had been sort of watching. I put
that on the Cowboys. I'm editing up the podcast and
the videos and all suddenly I look, I go, it's
two o'clock in the morning and I had just posted
I go, I gotta go to bed. And then this
morning was like, so I gotta figure.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Out your other job this morning too, or no, no, okay.

Speaker 2 (28:14):
Uh, we will take a moment. Our friend Peter Montemerno
is backing. Oh my god, dude, I can't.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
We got thoughts about it, I'm sure you know what.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
We have not really talked much about this, no on
any podcast this week, because even on Monday we had
a swinger coach on and so that was that kind
of took over any football. Yeah, yeah, pig skin condoms
or pigskin footballs. So we, uh, we'll talk to Peter
and get the thoughts and go inside the mind of

(28:44):
Dan and Peter and figure out, Hey, a win's a win.
I mean, come on, man, no one saw that coming. No, no,
I got a lot of thoughts. We will get to

Speaker 3 (31:02):
Good, Josh Allen.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Yeah, actually, Fred Oliver.

Speaker 9 (31:07):
I wire could swim.

Speaker 2 (31:11):
You don't know nothing about that. I want to get
to the chorus and the dolphins, my dolphins, and swim the.

Speaker 3 (31:18):
Dolphins there are swimming right now, floating, not saying we'll
keep batch together. A bunch of the Jets.

Speaker 9 (31:29):
You gonna beat.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
You can beat the Jets.

Speaker 2 (31:33):
Hel oh we Josh Allen is a hero if just
for one game that was I don't know, Danny. I
turned it off. I will admit I turned it off
and I went uh to bed. But but I have

(31:54):
some app that keeps updating my phone and and so
it's going rank and I'm flossing my teeth and I'm down.
I go, oh my god, oh my god, if they
score a touchdown here, And so I get into bed
and I put Peacock on my phone, which sounds very perverted,
but I did, and I got to watch the rest

(32:16):
of the game, so thankfully, because I was complaining, I
was bitching all day. Why did I set up for
I'm getting every fucking score, seventy scores and I'm then
I'm watching a game on like Paramount so CBS Paramount
is delayed because it's streaming, so well.

Speaker 3 (32:31):
You're watching the other games on Paramount because this was
on CBS.

Speaker 2 (32:33):
No, no, no, this is on NBC. But I'm saying
during the day, I'm watching the Steelers Jets game, which
I love that the Steelers won. But the Jets look
pretty good. I have to admit, Oh, yeah they did.
And Justin Field's like, okay, he really did. Uh maybe
he used to wear two gloves out all the time.
I have no idea. I don't know what was on
those gloves, but he should do that. But I'm watching

(32:54):
and I would see like something I'm across going. They
scored and so then it was kind of cool because
then I could go watch the play unfold.

Speaker 3 (33:01):
But I uh, I gotta tell you, I was a
little disappointed in Josh Allen, not for his plays play
was awesome, for what he said after the game, and
he said it twice. I was a little disappointed in
what did he say?

Speaker 2 (33:12):
What are you disappointed in?

Speaker 3 (33:13):
He made a comment I watched the whole game. By
the way, as someone who watched the entire game did
not turn it off. I stopped taking notes.

Speaker 2 (33:19):
Excuse me, but excuse me. I had to go to bed.

Speaker 5 (33:23):
Child.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
If you're offended by that, then you'll be even worse.
He goes, Yeah, I saw some people leave it early.
You gotta have faith in us. Yeah, it's like bro
bro bro, bro bro Bro. I love you, Josh, but
there's other people who don't just play football. They have
real life jobs on Monday morning, and you had a
point nine percent chance of coming back after Derreck Henry
scored that touchdown. Now, I'm thrilled that he did it.

(33:46):
I'm thrilled, believe me. I watched that game to the
bidder and it was excited. But Dad, I don't even
my quarterback making a passive aggressive shot. Anybody who walked
out of that stadium when they freaking deserved it. Now,
kudos to everybody who stuck around, But come on, man,
I can't blame people for leaving the stadium at that
point point nine percent chance of winning the football game.
And you're gonna rip on the fans who we're going

(34:06):
to finance that freaking new stadium across the streets. Josh,
I love you, But how holy he said it?

Speaker 2 (34:14):
He said it twice? Was he said it twice? It
was passive? As Peter Montemo is on, Peter, what do
you say to this?

Speaker 4 (34:21):
I mean, come on, hey, I'm not here to ruin
your good time. I'm just here to keep you alive.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
Yes, all right.

Speaker 4 (34:30):
I will say I did cringe.

Speaker 10 (34:33):
When when Josh said that, because he had a little
bit of a a little bit of a snark in
his delivery.

Speaker 4 (34:37):
He said it twice, bringing a little bit. I cringed
a little bit.

Speaker 3 (34:41):
He said that.

Speaker 10 (34:41):
He said the whole game, the whole post game, the
whole thing, he.

Speaker 3 (34:45):
Said an NBC and then he said it in the
post game show like he wanted people.

Speaker 10 (34:49):
To know postgame show, didn't. I saw him with the
Elizabeth Stark interview. That's the first time I said, and
I thought the same thing. I'm like, ooh, I understand
he's excited. First day of the year, and that's a
little bit.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
Hey. Look, I mean it's one of these things that
no one, no one is watching that game go and
you just they were dominated, yes, I mean or less?

Speaker 3 (35:14):
I mean did Lamar Jackson was twenty three yards in
the right right right then, and then the next play,
Derreck Henry goes untouched to the end zone for fifty
freaking yards and you're gonna bitch a part of my
language about people leaving early. Really, they weren't walking out
on you, Josh. They were walking on on the defense,

(35:34):
and by the way, rightfully in the head coach and rightfully.
So now I don't know, I may have walked out too,
knowing guy to drive back the Rochester and Eddie Taffick
after getting their asses kick, because that defense got its
ass kicked Sunday night.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Well, I didn't take it that I two diehard fans
and you and Peter Sorry, no, well, nothing wrong with that.
I just didn't see that. I didn't see it like that.
I saw it as using bad words. You guys should
have had a little more faith in us. They like
that was you know what I mean, That's how I
took it, like a little a little little.

Speaker 10 (36:05):
A little bit of a you know, stick the knife
in a little bit, stick a little bit and turn it.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
If Josh play defense, I would well that that.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
I mean, no one, he was throwing some lasers right
on point.

Speaker 10 (36:20):
I mean that was he didn't take a snap in
the preseason. No, that's what was amazing. He stepped in
like it's mid season. Yeah, and he looked like that, yeah,
and I mean get a very good defense.

Speaker 2 (36:33):
A really good defense, and they but they he figured
it out, he found the weak spot. Well, I mean
they're a pretty good defense. What are you making faces
over there like you I don't know that they are field.

Speaker 4 (36:46):
I think their the backfield is is pretty good.

Speaker 3 (36:49):
They got they got at number one picks back there.

Speaker 10 (36:53):
Yeah, yeah, I mean, look, they're they're always known for
having a solid defense. Is it the best I've ever
seen the Ravens now year. They definitely had some some
you know, first game jitters as for lack of a
very putting it. But I still think they're pretty good
and I think he carved them up pretty well.

Speaker 4 (37:13):
Yeah, pretty well.

Speaker 10 (37:15):
But the defense on the Bills, I mean, I you know,
it's it's a great win for the Bills, but it's
only one win. It's going to be you know, you know,
it's a historic win the home opener and red Bridge Stadium,
Rich Stadium, Rich Stadium.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
Rich Stadium.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
Yes, thank you.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
We put yeah, we put a militarium.

Speaker 10 (37:35):
But uh no, I I am really concerned about what
I see on the defense, especially.

Speaker 2 (37:43):
Defenses get better as the season goes on.

Speaker 4 (37:46):
Yeah, but yes, that that's that's fair.

Speaker 3 (37:49):
But and they have looked like he was posted, looked
he got beat on the edge so many times. Ped
will break down the film. Momentarily, he got beat and
there were.

Speaker 10 (38:01):
Times where I will say that there were sometimes deeper
in the second half where he did a much better
job on the edge. But the beginning of the game,
he was doing what he wanted to do and got
just sliced out there and it was not a good look.
Been again his assignments to pinch the C gap or

(38:22):
pinch the B gap, and then he had supporting in
the outside possibly, but that support wasn't there, so someone
missed an assignment. You obviously want to blame the defensive
end for taking an inside inside route because of that,
because we don't see anything else.

Speaker 4 (38:35):
We don't know what the call is. But the defensive
line has to play better this week. The safeties concerning
put Porter out there, put poor out there.

Speaker 3 (38:49):
That's how bad they were. We got to bring a
guy out of retirement to go play safety.

Speaker 4 (38:54):
I think he'd at least have a pulse mangle. That
was a rapper Bishop on that fifty yard run, Dan.

Speaker 3 (39:02):
It was the Bishop.

Speaker 2 (39:03):
Bishop got like he got stiff, I.

Speaker 4 (39:06):
Mean on that run but on the on the wrap
after Lamar scrambled.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
That was that was that was wrapped. Yeah, they they
both got like toasted.

Speaker 4 (39:15):
But I don't know if that was a business decision.
And he looked like he was hustling hard after him.

Speaker 10 (39:20):
But the angle that he took and he was right
in front of him, he was right in front of
over a terrible angle at Henry and you want to
take an angle at him. Were you gonna run run
at him straight in the mouth.

Speaker 4 (39:33):
I don't know. Maybe it was a business decision.

Speaker 2 (39:35):
Who knows, but it's like Goldberg and might he does
just take the goal? Fine, I don't care it was.
But then the fumble, it was from that Derek Henry fumble,
which he never does.

Speaker 4 (39:46):
No, that's crazy.

Speaker 10 (39:48):
And I will say the defense stepped up when it needed, yes,
but they can't operate like that for seventeen games expect
this type of result. It ain't gonna happen. So just
going to have his bad game. Josh is going to
throw his interception. I know he only had six last year,
but but you know he's.

Speaker 4 (40:06):
Had one to keep the team in the game.

Speaker 10 (40:08):
He's going to take take chances, right, and you got
to have a better, better unit on the other side
of the ball to support him.

Speaker 3 (40:17):
So right now, Billy, you brought up, you brought the
idea of defenses, you know, getting better over the course
of a season. Did you know if the scores are
pretty low on Sunday, defense is usually at this point
in the ear Peter you might be able to attest
to this. Defense is usually ahead of the offense at
this point because there's more synchronicity in offense and there
is defense defense just to stop them, just to stop them.

Speaker 10 (40:34):
You know, where offense is true, it's defenses have a
little bit of an advantage in the first game of
the year, second game of the year, where you know
the offense is still especially when you don't have an
offense who's playing in the preseason and they're not insane
and you're running round.

Speaker 4 (40:51):
It's all timing, it's all of that matters, right.

Speaker 10 (40:53):
And in defense, you get your call, you got your assignment,
you reach your keys, and you go right and if
you're in the right positions that the ball is gonna
come to you.

Speaker 4 (41:02):
So, yeah, the defenses have a little bit more of
an advantage in the beginning.

Speaker 10 (41:05):
And here's where my concerns can't really do that stutter count.
You know, they're still working together really for the first
time for sixty minutes, and they haven't done that at all.
Actually for the Bills. The Bills perspective, they do that
at all preseason, right because Josh Allen didn't have one snap,
so they're all galvanizing around behind him.

Speaker 4 (41:24):
But you know, he's taking his first snap of the year.

Speaker 3 (41:26):
I guess my thing, my think, Peters. I heard a
couple of guys this morning trying to get the defense
a benef for the doubt, and I get why. I
get it. I get it. I totally get it. Maybe
they gotta get sync and all this other stuff. But
here's what I know about our defense, and this has
happened every year. Injuries. Injuries. Yeah, they're gonna pilot. Mlan's
gonna get hurt at some point because he always gets hurt.
Bernard's gonna get hurt at some point because he always
gets hurt. The secondary is gonna get hurt because they
always get hurt. Hell, they got hurt at training camp,

(41:48):
but they weren't even touching each other, so they could improve.
But guys are going to continue to get hurt. So
what is mcdermam gonna do.

Speaker 2 (41:54):
He's gonna call up old.

Speaker 3 (41:55):
Vets who played at Carolina no system, not because they're
better players, but because they fit the system. And that's
what they're going to do to replace them. And to
be honest with you, Jay Flowers didn't play in that
playoff game last year, but he played.

Speaker 1 (42:06):
In this one.

Speaker 3 (42:07):
They couldn't stop him. Other than other than the fumble,
they couldn't stop They couldn't stop Derrick Henry and they
barely stopped Lamar.

Speaker 2 (42:13):
Lamar didn't make any mistakes at all. But you want
you want to face these guys again? I don't, but
that was It was an exciting game, and I think
that you will face them again. I do believe that
that's going to happen, and I think it's going.

Speaker 4 (42:31):
To be in at the stadium.

Speaker 10 (42:33):
You know.

Speaker 4 (42:34):
That's why these it felt like a must win. I
hate to say that one. Yes, your goal to get
to the Super Bowl through Buffalo.

Speaker 3 (42:41):
That was the Muslin Peter I was getting text at
five o'clock. Jets gave Pittsburgh a game, this is must
win tonight.

Speaker 2 (42:47):
Well, the thing that was funny is like there were
some really great games I mean Green Bay Lions. Lions
are gonna have tight season. I'm sorry. Wow, that the
fact that they got rid of two.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
Coordinators, right, Peter broke that one down too.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
Yeah, that's gonna be tough. But the the Jets and
the Steelers, that was a fun game to watch, and
yeah it was yeah, yeah it was. I thought that
was it. The Browns and the Bengals. Yeah, so brown Yeah, yeah,
I'm saying. Flacco was like, what do I gotta do?

Speaker 3 (43:17):
I'm fifty years old and he's not fifty like forty,
but still I can't even throw to my receivers.

Speaker 2 (43:22):
They can't catch the ball. But even throwing that hard
and getting picked off, Yeah.

Speaker 3 (43:25):
What are the stats look like? Well, they looked like
Flacco threw two picks but his receivers couldn't catch the ball.

Speaker 2 (43:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (43:30):
I mean, Joe Burrow's not going to give you many
games where he just sucks in the first month of
the season. Yes, but oh my gosh, what's the fans
you got to do in Cleveland to win a freaking
football game?

Speaker 2 (43:39):
The yeah, and the you know what game surprised me, Peter,
The Atlanta game?

Speaker 3 (43:45):
That was fun. Did you watch that, Peter?

Speaker 4 (43:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (43:49):
The Atlanta Yeah highlights. I I listened on serious and
I was like, god, So they had the game of
the year early last year. I was impressive. I was like,
damn and that it was it.

Speaker 3 (44:01):
Pets had a nice game, but Baker Baker pulled it out.

Speaker 4 (44:04):
Man Speaker has really come along as a QB in
the NFL. He really has it, really has. Yeah, I
don't think he's you know, he's.

Speaker 2 (44:17):
Number one, but you know what, though he's he does
really well.

Speaker 3 (44:20):
He may pass guys like Dak at some point. He's
really starting to like play composed measured football and he
has the receivers too, Like this is bea this a
beca kid. He's going to be amazing.

Speaker 2 (44:32):
Oh my god, Peter, what other thoughts do you have
on the on the game? I am curious, No, you know,
I I was.

Speaker 10 (44:39):
It's wait, way too many points giving up obviously, that's
that's that's a given.

Speaker 4 (44:45):
I was impressed though with the defense in the last
series where.

Speaker 10 (44:49):
They had Lamar had the ball in his hands with
a chance to win the game and the defense prevented him.
Really at Oliver prevented him from doing that. Well, that
was the series before, but Oliver made that game changing play.
He doesn't make that play, the Bills don't win the game,
so that obviously turns the hair upside down, and the

(45:10):
defense reacts to that. They again, they get motivated because
of what happened. The crowd's going crazy. The defense feeds
off that stuff. So the energy happened at the right time,
and they did stop Lamar on that big series to
get the ball back to Josh on that big third
and eight or third and nine. It was force the
ball in the middle of the field, their pressure by
Bosa on the on the outside, which kind of made

(45:33):
Lamar maybe throw it a little quicker than he wanted to.

Speaker 4 (45:36):
It's going to let some routes develop.

Speaker 3 (45:37):
Then Oliver hit him in n Oliver hit him, and
then after the game they said, why didn't you go
for I was cramping. I think he's just he got shook.
I think that might have been like the underrated hit
of the game because I think if Lamar's not hurt there,
I think they're going forward on fourth to three.

Speaker 4 (45:52):
Yeah, why they did because Nick Right brought Nick the
first down games over right.

Speaker 3 (45:57):
Nick Wright brought this up. He said, why if you're
not going far down to that point, Why are you
throwing behind the sticks? Lamar is too good a quarterback
to make that decision to throw the ball behind the sticks.
But he threw the ball behind the sticks, probably thinking
he's gonna go for fourth go forward and fourth down,
and the Ravens hesitated sending out the punt team. And
I wonder if Lamar was like, dude, I can't, I can't,
I can't see, and then that's to get ball.

Speaker 10 (46:17):
It was cramp as a decoy, then right as a
detoy and direct staff to Henry or something like that.

Speaker 4 (46:22):
They were getting how many yards a clip on a
Henry right?

Speaker 2 (46:26):
Oh, dude, eight yards a clip?

Speaker 3 (46:29):
Eight as a team eight yard That includes like a
twenty two yard loss at one point or twelve yard loss.

Speaker 2 (46:35):
How do you feel about the game against the Jets
in New York? And they usually have a tough time
when they're in New York.

Speaker 3 (46:43):
They do in the last year.

Speaker 2 (46:44):
The Jets look good.

Speaker 10 (46:45):
You know, the Jets are surprisingly effected right now, especially
against Pittsburgh. They have a great defense, good team. You know,
you're playing away from home where the pressure is all
the way away from you. As talking about Pittsburgh, it's
not going to be an easy game. It's going to

(47:06):
be a challenge.

Speaker 4 (47:06):
Those are going down the road. It's a business trip.
It's great. They can be all together in one hotel.
That's awesome.

Speaker 10 (47:12):
But again, if the Jets are breaking down this film
and they see the areas where they can attack the
Bills defense, if the Bills don't have an answer to that,
I'm not saying they're going to run the ball out
of the Meadlands, but my goodness, it's going to be
another You're gonna be in the edge of our seat
all year.

Speaker 2 (47:31):
Derek, he's not Dereck Henry.

Speaker 3 (47:32):
But here's the thing though, Justin Fields, he doesn't have
the arm that Lamar Jackson, but he's got the legs.
So you may have a two headed monster in the backfield.
In the last two Monday nights when they've played the
Jets in New York, the Jets are given the Bills
problems and.

Speaker 10 (47:47):
Even though they lost Dan, you know what he has
this week's confident, and that is that could be deadly
to a defense.

Speaker 4 (47:56):
Justin Field, Taylor Rapp and Cole Bishop.

Speaker 2 (48:00):
But you know else has confidence. A guy named Josh
oh Man.

Speaker 10 (48:05):
That guy, come on, you know it's I hate that
we're not talking about him enough. But that guy is,
He's at a different level. But again, they're putting him
in a position where he has to be super.

Speaker 4 (48:16):
Right and at some point the rescuer. That's not sustainable
for seventeen weeks.

Speaker 3 (48:22):
At some point, Peter the rescuer needs to be rescued.

Speaker 2 (48:25):
He can't play defense, he can't play special teams. It's
all Josh. You take Josh off the roster, like they'd
be looking at.

Speaker 3 (48:31):
What the NBA would call a lottery pick, a lottery team.
If you swap rosters with Baltimore. You would swap rosters
with Baltimore in a heartbeat. If you could saving the quarterbacks. Yes,
Baltimore would keep Lamar, the Bills would keep Allen. Hey,
you want trade teams? Yeah, in a heartbeat. If I'm
Brandon Bean, I get that call up.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
Trading teams right now?

Speaker 4 (48:50):
Yeah, yeah, I agree with that. I agree with that.

Speaker 10 (48:53):
I want to see more out of Benford this week.
He had some head and the clouds moments this Sunday.

Speaker 4 (49:06):
Again.

Speaker 10 (49:07):
Sorry, first game of the year. You're still you haven't
played a lot. This is your first experience. Like I've
always said, there's preseason speed. There's game speed, and then
there's playoff speed. So they haven't they have participated in
that game speed for twenty twenty five until this last game.
So let's let's let let's give them a little bit
of a chance and and let's see what works. But

(49:28):
I'm telling you it's the same story. It's the same
thing we're seeing for the past five years, where the
defense is going to be. It might be the weakest link,
but I don't want to go too far down that path.
I know everybody's all happy in.

Speaker 2 (49:42):
The lad You're shitting in my litter box? What are
you doing over there?

Speaker 4 (49:47):
I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (49:49):
That's what you have me on. That is exactly right,
speaks the truth. Yes, all right, Peter, without being too rude,
I got to run to the bathroom.

Speaker 4 (50:00):
You don't want to have Danny and I have a
dialogue together, do you No?

Speaker 3 (50:03):
You can still be going when you come back.

Speaker 2 (50:07):
Hell, we have guests waiting to I apologize, but we'll
catch up again next week. Thanks, Homy.

Speaker 4 (50:13):
You want to score yes, uh, twenty eight to twenty
five built.

Speaker 2 (50:19):
Twenty eight to twenty five bills.

Speaker 3 (50:20):
I think it's fair. I think it's gonna be a
close one really.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (50:24):
By the way, bet Josh Allen scored two touchdowns on FANDUELN.

Speaker 10 (50:28):
Seven and sixty seven yards and seven in four touchdowns
and three quarters. But you'll still be close.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
Yeah, what did What were the total stats at the
end of the game for Josh over four.

Speaker 3 (50:40):
Hundred total yards and apparently like the record for teams
yeah so like and the record for teams down two
like touchdowns with four minutes to go or something like
that was before this game three and two thousand and
thirty or something like that. Like the all the funny
stats came out after this game, like Alan had two
hundred fifty yards of the fourth quarter.

Speaker 2 (51:01):
Yeah, I mean it was ridiculous, Yeah, very crazy. All right, Well, Peter,
great as always, Thank.

Speaker 4 (51:07):
You, pleasure, all right, good to see you guys. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (51:11):
We will take a moment when we come back. The
dogs in the house find out what they're up to
a whole lot more right after this. Hey, if you've
been thinking about checking out recreational cannabis in Monroe County,
stop thinking and start visiting my buds over at MJ Dispensary.
They were the first recreational cannabis destination in the county.
That's right, the og spot. And trust me, they know

(51:34):
their stuff. I was at their summer event and I
was blown away by how educated and on top of
it their bud tenders are. I mean, these aren't just
people handing you a bag. They're like the Google of cannabis,
but way friendlier and without the Papa beads. Whether you're
looking for edimals, vapes, concentrates, pre rolls, or just something
that helps you relaxed, sleep or deal with pain, MJ

(51:54):
Dispensary as at all. And the best part, they'll guide
you so you don't leave look liked you just picked
random snacks at three am. Now, maybe you're in it
for the fun side, maybe you're in it for the
wellness side. It doesn't matter. They've got you covered. And
here's a bonus delivery that's right from Monday through Saturday
ten am to eight pm, and even on Sundays from

(52:15):
ten am to seven pm. They'll bring the goods right
to your door and no judgment if you're in their pajamas.
So do yourself a favor. Head over to MJ Dispensary,
nine hundred Jefferson Road, Sweet nine O two and Henrietta,
or check them out online at MJ Dispensary five eight
five dot com. Who does the whistle? Get it up?

Speaker 11 (52:37):
Down down three? Keep doing with keyboards?

Speaker 2 (52:45):
Stop draw a line at whistling the Uh so, my son,
who is now fifteen, when he was a baby, I
used to play this and he would dance in the kitchen.
That's how long I Got's got to be fifteen years old. Yeah, yeah, yeah,

(53:05):
we were working together when this song came out. Yeah,
because you were talking about the video with the Mick
and the guys. Yeah.

Speaker 12 (53:11):
You know what's funny about that is we were talking
about our set sets and all the all the party tunes,
our older tunes, yeahies and eighties, like we got a
fresh in the set up, and so we bring this
one and it's fifteen years.

Speaker 11 (53:23):
Old, Like, well that's fresh.

Speaker 2 (53:25):
It is fresh. But I mean I would but comparatively, yes,
But I would also think like if I heard that,
I'd be like, oh, fun, newer song. That's all I am.
I don't know what's happening over there.

Speaker 11 (53:37):
That's where shut up and dance with me. Kind of
yeah too, that's about that same.

Speaker 2 (53:42):
The the dogs are here just so Steve, what's happening
with the dogs? You've got how many gigs coming up? Well?
This year we have because it's all charity. The band
just works for the pleasure of working.

Speaker 11 (53:56):
We play music for the for the good of the community,
for the fun and plan.

Speaker 12 (54:01):
Yeah, we've got six more shows counting the one that
it's coming up this Sunday that you know, we're gonna
spend some time talking about specifically.

Speaker 11 (54:09):
And the cool thing I was just looking at this
my you know notes here.

Speaker 12 (54:14):
Five of the six are directly focused on organizations which
benefit children, and I think that that's one of the
things that we've kind of found over time, you know,
working with orgs like Best Buddies, which is the event
we're going to do this week. My friend here, Lindsay,
we'll talk about but you know, autism up Arka Monroe,

(54:37):
Holy Childhood and some of the you know, Rotary Sunshine Camp.
We're doing this this fall. So yeah, we're we're we
got section.

Speaker 2 (54:44):
Doing a lot of charity. Did you do something bad
in life You're trying to get into heaven when you
die or what's going on trying to make up for that?

Speaker 11 (54:50):
Can't be it, That can't be it.

Speaker 2 (54:53):
I don't know. Best Buddies is this Sunday? Yes, where's
the event happening.

Speaker 13 (54:59):
We're doing it Miracle Fields in Webster. So it's right
off of oh yep, right where the Karpis Family Playground is.

Speaker 2 (55:06):
Yeah, so it out outdoors.

Speaker 13 (55:09):
Wow, testing fate.

Speaker 2 (55:11):
Okay, Well I thought the weather was supposed to be pretty.

Speaker 13 (55:14):
We're looking at it in the morning is supposed to
be a little creddy. But then the rest of the
day should be going with social three so we should.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
Yeah, all the moisture burns off and they get out there,
and that's a great place to do it.

Speaker 13 (55:25):
Yeah, we're excited. Is at work. We took a tour
the other day and Steven ever been there and just
the place is so accommoding to our population of people.
But also it's just beautiful. It's a beautiful facility.

Speaker 2 (55:36):
What do you mean by your populations of people?

Speaker 13 (55:38):
So Best Puddy is is an international organization that serves
individuals with intellectual and envilonmental disabilities. So we go into
the community and pair up individuals that have disabilities with
individuals that don't. And so we really want to create
a space of unity for our kiddos and our young
adults that have disabilities, but also just the community in general.
We also offer family supports to families as they're getting
their first diagnosis, what that looks like and how that

(56:00):
is going to feel for them sure, or giving them
connections in the community to help them through that. Anyone
that has a child with a disability, or anyone that
has a child with any sort of difference than what
they had envisioned for their kid, they need support in
the community and that's what we offer. So this on
Sunday is really just a way for us to celebrate
our families and to kind of let them know that
we're there and give them a free day just to
enjoy the band, enjoy some food trucks, enjoy some vendors,

(56:23):
and just kind of hang out on a Sunday afternoon.

Speaker 2 (56:25):
Is this open to anybody or just best buddy?

Speaker 13 (56:28):
Yeah, anyone can come.

Speaker 2 (56:28):
So anybody can come and learn. Maybe you're not familiar
with the organization and go ooh, I could benefit from
this or somebody I know.

Speaker 13 (56:38):
So the way our program generally works as we work
with in school districts, So if not in your school district, okay,
And so that's the conversation. We have a lot of
people like, we didn't know you existed. We didn't know
these services were available, and so if you don't know something,
it doesn't exist, you're not utilizing it. And so we
do a lot of events like this. We were excited
to partner with the Dogs. We've been working on this
for a while, Steve and I have, and so we
just wanted to offer someone to our families that was

(56:58):
unique and fun. And we have companies that are going
to be involved with us and like sponsoring the event
so that we do raise some money from it at
the end of the day. So we're excited.

Speaker 2 (57:07):
Yeah, this is this is a big deal, because no,
it is because the best Buddies thing was, you know,
unlike I think a comp here, which was people who
were neurotypical will say, versus you know, someone with disabilities.
It was sort of that same thing. And it's so important,
right and especially for somebody to always feel different and alone,

(57:32):
to have somebody you know, pick them up and I
don't know, take the friend.

Speaker 13 (57:37):
I We said, like, I've been with the organization since
we started here nine years ago, and the pandemic was
so traumatic for all of us, I think for a
variety of reasons. But it was interesting for us because
now we could say, this is what it feels like
to not be able to leave your house, yeah, this
is what it feels like not to able to see
your friends.

Speaker 2 (57:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (57:51):
And this is how our population feels all the time.
And so how can we change that dynamic and how
can we make things work better for them? So that's
been a wonderful kind of blessing, but also kind of
it's it's really kind of helped our cause long term.

Speaker 2 (58:05):
I think sure, because people have a better understanding of
what that what that's like. Yeah, and now there are
a lot of people going could we just go back
for a week, just a week where I could go back?
I still will say, and I consider this to Dan too.
I didn't live the normal pandemic life. I went to

(58:25):
work every day. I went to work every day. I
had a buddy who owned a bar. We were redoing
the floors allegedly, and I had a blast. I was
out all the time. I mean, I had a great die.

Speaker 11 (58:40):
There wasn't much traffic.

Speaker 13 (58:41):
It was traffic was two week old baby that I brought,
oh foster mom, and I brought him a baby two
weeks for the pandemic cat So I was home with
a medically baby.

Speaker 2 (58:53):
For you're a foster mom. Ye, and you had a
medically fragile baby.

Speaker 4 (59:00):
Ye?

Speaker 2 (59:00):
What is that?

Speaker 3 (59:01):
All babies medically friends, I mean.

Speaker 2 (59:03):
Fragile, but medically fragile will be something like I can't.

Speaker 13 (59:07):
Feeding tube, heart condition, skull injury. He's adopted and he's five.
Now he's fabulous, he's wonderful.

Speaker 2 (59:14):
Oh that's good. Is he a doctor yet?

Speaker 3 (59:16):
He will be here? Tell him come back with you're
a doctor, or he'll be like he's hysterical.

Speaker 13 (59:20):
He wanted to come tonight. I told him now. But
I brought him home February nineteenth, and the pandemic kind
of shut everything.

Speaker 2 (59:26):
Now, Mark, wait, I hope I'm not stepping into something. No,
you said he's been adopted. Adopted? Oh you did, Okay,
that's what I'm saying, borrowing Bill Well, I didn't.

Speaker 13 (59:39):
Know if you stay like hey, yeah, no, it's aid question.

Speaker 2 (59:42):
Yeah right, you stay in touch.

Speaker 13 (59:44):
But I always say, like, I love the pandemic. I
got to be home with my baby, yeah, a year
and a half, right by myself, and got to really
bond with him and so you know, there are some
there's some there were.

Speaker 2 (59:54):
Some benefits to that stuff.

Speaker 11 (59:56):
Yeah, absolutely have probably handled a little bit of a
shorter duration. Yeah, but I was cool with it for
a little bit. Yeah, definitely.

Speaker 3 (01:00:02):
I know some people who didn't want to go back out,
a lot of people out. In fact, there's a guy
in New York does a talk show who like, has
it left us up? It's the pandemic. Other than the interview, Uh,
Keith Richards, I think that was it or President Biden.
We know who we're talking about.

Speaker 2 (01:00:16):
Yeah, this is.

Speaker 11 (01:00:19):
Lindsay's Org.

Speaker 12 (01:00:20):
Is exactly you know what like Cetter cut to where
we want to be in terms of the kind of
organizations we work with. You know, I mentioned, you know,
so many of them are are focused around services for children,
and you know, we've always said, and we've I've talked
about this on the show a couple of times, but
raising money, you know, helping to raise money is kind

(01:00:42):
of like, you know, our mission, right, But what has
come about over the course of time is that we've
sort of found that, you know, maybe fundraising is one
but one a is definitely helping a raise awareness. And
you mentioned that either people really know you or they
don't know you at all. And we find that with
a lot of organizations. Is it so if we can,
you know, be part of something that helps raise awareness.

(01:01:04):
If one person shows up because they know us and
they learn about you, yeah, you know one person that
knows you who learns about us.

Speaker 11 (01:01:10):
Man, We've we've you know, that's.

Speaker 2 (01:01:12):
The yeahship, that's pretty good. The uh how so you've
been practicing and driving the family nuts?

Speaker 11 (01:01:18):
No, we don't. That's that's a great SEGMENTE You're you're amazing.

Speaker 12 (01:01:21):
So you know, one of the things I always want
to call out is the folks that work with us, right,
and so to the point about practicing driving people nuts,
we get practice space from our very generous friend Tom
Bruce at seventy five Stuston Street.

Speaker 11 (01:01:35):
And so I have to call him out.

Speaker 2 (01:01:37):
Oh so you're way down by the Charlotte. Yeah yeah,
I was down there earlier this summer.

Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
Is that the old church?

Speaker 2 (01:01:43):
Yeah? Okay, yeah, yeah? Is it old church? Yeah? So
like it's Stuston Street.

Speaker 3 (01:01:46):
I'll let him tell you about it.

Speaker 2 (01:01:47):
Yeah, Bridge, Yes, the guys, I was down at Pelican's
Nest before the owner died. Said sorry, yeah, but I
went in there sort of on a date. I met
somebody there and it was all I don't know, No, no,
it was it was a great date.

Speaker 11 (01:02:05):
What would that person say? Was it sort of?

Speaker 2 (01:02:07):
I here's the thing, man, I have no idea. I
don't know about this world. You know, I haven't dated
a whole lot. And I did go on a date
and uh still talks to me. So I figured, fuck,
excuse me, I.

Speaker 3 (01:02:24):
Guess we're still friends.

Speaker 2 (01:02:25):
No, it's good, it's good. But I went down there
and it's such a beautiful spot. It really is, and
people were like, well, why did you go there? I
don't know. It was a bunch of gray hairs having
lunch and us. So we loved it. We thought it
was funny. And then I saw Damien leaving on his boat,
racing around on jet skis. But the that whole area

(01:02:47):
is nice.

Speaker 12 (01:02:48):
Man, it's got it's got probably for good reason maybe,
but some of it's got a bad rap.

Speaker 11 (01:02:53):
Yeah, for other things. Is beautiful, so a couple other things, yea.

Speaker 4 (01:03:00):
Yes.

Speaker 12 (01:03:01):
Also want to call out John Bretto from Meistro Management,
who provides some representation to us, and he is another
extremely generous person. All these people do this stuff. You know,
really donating their time and their resources, et cetera. So
we you know, we can be who we are and
donate our playing, but we couldn't operate without you know,

(01:03:23):
Joe Widell does all our video production.

Speaker 11 (01:03:26):
That Cozyal does our lights.

Speaker 12 (01:03:27):
Gina Ford sells our merch like those folks are also
degating their time.

Speaker 11 (01:03:32):
Yeah, so it's like a family. And then then I'll
be quiet.

Speaker 12 (01:03:34):
Just two more things. Over the last couple of months,
we have on boarded a couple of new members of
the band.

Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
You know, we've changed, right, So this is what I
was just gonna ask, And I seriously was. I was
gonna say, you ever need a backup? Because sometimes I
feel like Danny feels a little sad. And he's a
great singer and he's a great guitarist, but every once
in a while, I think I think he misses being
on the stage. And he's great, He's just great. So
I'm not pushing Danny on you. I which is gonna
ask you, how do you rotate people through because you

(01:04:02):
know there's a chance that somebody has something the night
you have a gig. They may have had something on
the calendar for a long time.

Speaker 11 (01:04:09):
Yeah, we we so the shout out to Roy Stein,
our new amazing drummer.

Speaker 12 (01:04:13):
He's awesome. And Ryan McNally is our new keyboard player. Uh,
Dwayne Draper stepped out and Matt Rush stepped out, and
so these two folks came.

Speaker 2 (01:04:23):
In and there McNally. Is that the guy with the
almanac or the or the or the he did the maps,
the maps?

Speaker 3 (01:04:30):
Yeah, is that the guy?

Speaker 11 (01:04:31):
He well, he's probably got an encyclopedia of music.

Speaker 2 (01:04:33):
Okay, he's not the same guy.

Speaker 3 (01:04:36):
No, no, say he stopped making maps start and joined
the dogs.

Speaker 2 (01:04:39):
Well this is like maybe his grandson.

Speaker 9 (01:04:42):
It could be.

Speaker 2 (01:04:43):
Yeah, he's been around. Yeah, yeah, I think that The thing.

Speaker 12 (01:04:46):
The cool thing is we have a couple of folks
who who step in and help us out. When you know,
me and Ludermono the guitar player, started this thing. You know,
it seems like forever ago now. And Chrissie Faracio is singer.
I think the three of us are are sort of
embedded in this. And but we have substitute drummers, We

(01:05:07):
have a couple of substitute keyboard players, and that just
because it's like you said, the second schedules are what
they are, especially someone who joins the band after we
already have something booked. Right Sunday we'll be playing with
with Joe Rondozzo on drums, who excuse me, Matt Rush
on keyboards. I got to keep it straight who's jumping
in with us? Because our keyboard player had something going on.

(01:05:29):
So when the fact that it's a donate, donating time thing,
you got to let them, you.

Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
Know, let him in, let them in, let them in.
The more of the merrier. How do you become a
volunteer if somebody were looking to be a best Buddy
volunteers Sunday Sunday.

Speaker 13 (01:05:45):
No, But we're really easy to find this best Budies
dot org and you can kind of go on there
and find the different programs that we offer, and we're
really easy to to kind of get connect with, like
has I've been there nine years.

Speaker 2 (01:05:55):
And we how did you even? How did that happen?

Speaker 13 (01:05:58):
So long story short, My aunt had down syndrome, so
growing up I was always part of an inclusive environment.
Became a school teacher.

Speaker 2 (01:06:05):
Was teaching, I was in Brighton, Okay, and then went into.

Speaker 13 (01:06:10):
The poor prophet world and did that and then realized
that that was not my calling. And I knew of
Best Buddies because Best Buddies is founded by Tim Shriver's brother,
Anthony Streiver. So Tim Shriver runs Special Olympics. Their mom
bonded Special Olympics, so it's all part of that family.
And so I had known about Best Buddies and they
were opening an office here and I applied and been

(01:06:31):
there ever since.

Speaker 2 (01:06:31):
Wow, do you run it in this region?

Speaker 4 (01:06:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 13 (01:06:34):
So I'm the director for all of Buffalo, Roster, Syracuse, Binghamton.

Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
Wow.

Speaker 13 (01:06:38):
Connectedy over is what we usually say.

Speaker 2 (01:06:40):
It's connectedly over. That's a big territory. That's a lot
of over. You got that, Hudson River. I know that's
a lot.

Speaker 3 (01:06:49):
There's a lot. Yeah, so I'm in his connectady state
of mind.

Speaker 2 (01:06:53):
You have to go to all their events and stuff too. Yeah.

Speaker 13 (01:06:56):
So we run events like we do a lot of
events in Buffalo, last of Syracuse. We're having a big
event in New York City in two weeks. We're doing
a big cycling event. Yeah, so we do that kind
of stuff. We do a lot of events.

Speaker 12 (01:07:07):
Maybe we could we could call Sunday like an audition
for us to place some of your other Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:07:14):
Oh, put some pressure on the band. Everybody at some pressure.
Oh and it's three o'clock so we're the game. Yes,
so so smart, so smart. That was really good. No,
it really was because I started thinking, oh, where am
I going for the game? I got stuff, I got stuff. Yeah,

(01:07:35):
all right, that's very good. Where's it in the name
of the park.

Speaker 13 (01:07:38):
So it's Miracle Field of Rochester. It's in Webster. It's
right where the police officers are, the police station and
the town hall. So if you can't find it on
a map, that's where.

Speaker 2 (01:07:47):
You can find. Oh yeah, that's pretty easy. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:07:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (01:07:50):
There's a giant inclusive playground right in front of it.

Speaker 2 (01:07:52):
You can kind of see from the What is it inclusive?
What does that mean?

Speaker 13 (01:07:54):
So that wheelchairs can go up in have mobility issues?

Speaker 2 (01:07:59):
So I got all fused because what.

Speaker 6 (01:08:03):
I know?

Speaker 2 (01:08:04):
Okay, so this is this was weird to me. I say, hey,
where's the bathroom at the College Fisher And they go
out there and I walk out and I see women's
room and I see inclusive bathroom, and I was like,
I don't know, I don't know if I'm allowed in
there or not.

Speaker 11 (01:08:23):
Yeah, it wasn't sure that the word inclusive.

Speaker 2 (01:08:27):
Yeah, but then again, it's me.

Speaker 13 (01:08:29):
So that I know what that bathroom means.

Speaker 2 (01:08:32):
But for us, no, no, this is what it means.
It's exactly what it means. But I had a person
it had like a wheel the whips. So I went
in and I go, oh, there is a urinals.

Speaker 3 (01:08:42):
So the bill goes in and then it comes out
this guy in a wheelchair sitting there.

Speaker 2 (01:08:45):
Oh, I'm sorry, was I in your bathroom?

Speaker 5 (01:08:46):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:08:47):
I apologize. I would never do hold joke the inclusive
But then how come what happens if there's a woman
in a wheelchair? Does she go in the inclusive bathroom?

Speaker 4 (01:08:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:08:56):
Oh, so it's for everybody? And then wow, okay I
couldn't No no no no no no no no no
no no.

Speaker 13 (01:09:07):
Just what I'm saying is like I go, but this
is why we exist. Organizations like us exist. You can
ask us, I don't can answer them.

Speaker 2 (01:09:13):
I'll walk into any bathroom. I once. I'm not proud
of this, but I will say it's.

Speaker 3 (01:09:18):
Got busy in the Burkerkink bathroom.

Speaker 2 (01:09:20):
Hump. Yes, yes, I once in college had to go
to the bathroom so badly and there was a girl
in the bathroom and I just busted in and peede
in the sink while she screamed on the toilet, and
I go, don't worry about it. It's the sink. It's
gonna I'll just wash it down.

Speaker 3 (01:09:32):
Yeah, it's like a Bills game.

Speaker 2 (01:09:33):
It's no big deal. So I don't care who's in
the bathroom. I just didn't want to make anybody else uncomfortable.
That was my confusion. That was my confusion as I went,
this doesn't make any sense to me. There's a women's room,
there's an inclusive bathroom. Where's the dude's gotta go? Because
I don't I don't know, and I don't want to
be walking into some bathroom right here. Oh you should
be in here, which has happened in my life, and

(01:09:55):
I don't want that.

Speaker 4 (01:09:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 13 (01:09:56):
So the Miracle Field of is a completely inclusive baseball field,
so individual disabilities play baseball soccer.

Speaker 2 (01:10:03):
Think amazing.

Speaker 13 (01:10:04):
Yeah, so they're a really I who did this? That
is founded by a man named Ron and he's spectacular.
You can look him up. He's wonderful. But that's what
around for about seven eight years.

Speaker 2 (01:10:15):
And Ron like raised all the money for this because
that stuff's expensively and it's beautiful.

Speaker 13 (01:10:20):
It's a beautiful silly but like my some plays baseball
there with kids wheelchairs, they do soccer, they do football.
The lacross this is.

Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
Yeah, oh I like this. I like this. So I
didn't know. Uh inclusive but so inclusive when you say
play baseball? Are they wider paths for the So.

Speaker 13 (01:10:39):
The ground is a different type of turf okay, and
it is flat all the way around. And then the
tools that they're using to hit the bat might be
a different type of bat, different teotball. Depends on what
the kid is able to do.

Speaker 2 (01:10:51):
Right, Ron was be this much?

Speaker 3 (01:10:53):
Brother?

Speaker 2 (01:10:54):
My son does? Either way, I just I find it
really impressive and I's incredible. I'm always impressed by the
people who actually do it because I can't tell you
how many times go hey, yeah, I got an idea.
How great would that be?

Speaker 14 (01:11:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:11:06):
Yeah, have another beer? And then they go home and
nothing happened, right, And you know what I mean? But
these guys, what are we talk about that actually take
it from an idea to something tangible that we can
all But you know that somebody who can't bring their
kid to a playground can bring their kids to this
play Even.

Speaker 13 (01:11:26):
Our founder for a bus buddies, like in nineteen eight nine,
He's like, why can't these individuals with disabilities come to college?
He couldn't see past that. So we started this thing
where like kids that were of similar ages as college
students could come on campus and be part of the
school community. Like how many kids are at home that
are eighteen to twenty two that have disabilities that aren't
having a college experience.

Speaker 2 (01:11:46):
So this was stay on campus because a lot so
they would.

Speaker 13 (01:11:48):
Come on they would say they would come on campus
for events that they go to football games, they go
to different club activities, and that's where this all started.
It was just he was like, why can't these individuals
come on campus with us and have an environment where
they're enjoying college like.

Speaker 3 (01:12:01):
I'm enjoying Yeah, before you know out, they're funneling and
everything like anybody else.

Speaker 2 (01:12:05):
Can I tell you now that's the college. You're gonna
make me tell a story from when I went to
Fisher in the in the early nineties. There was a
gentleman in a wheelchair and he used to come out
of halfy haul like the dining area, and he would
just come He would just let loose and screaming down

(01:12:26):
in his wheelchair down this hill and I'm hearing it,
like I can hear what you're talking about. Clip. He
clipped my heel right with his wheel and I remember
being like annoyed. And the next thing I know, he
loses control of the wheelchair, hits a bush and goes
flying out of the wheelchair like he looked like a muppet.
I go, what are we doing? So now I don't

(01:12:47):
know what to do for this poor guy. I go
running over like I'm scared. I don't know what happened.
I didn't. I mean, he came screaming to he is laughing.
I thought it was the greatest thing in the world.
You're picking them up, you're trying not to. I mean,
I'm like, you could have freaking died like he would
he hit that point. I'll never forget that. That's one
of my most vivid memories from college to college well, and.

Speaker 3 (01:13:10):
It was just a random I don't know, Tuesday picked
the living the college experience after.

Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
Getting beat up in some class I'm sure philosophy, I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:13:19):
And then you're lucky, sir. If they were a motorized
If that were a motorized wheelchair, you get a dwy
I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:13:25):
Think he was even drunk. I just for him. This
was the fun, and I thought, I get that, Yeah,
I get yeah, not even I get that. Want to
just let loose, Yeah, you know, like jumping behind the
wheel of a car.

Speaker 13 (01:13:39):
And so many of our programs that at colleges are
so limited. They have ten spots or fifteen spots and
so have auto summer down syndrome, more whatever, don't get
to go because there's not a spots for them to
be there. So how can we include them in our
school communities?

Speaker 2 (01:13:51):
That way?

Speaker 13 (01:13:51):
So that's how we come into play.

Speaker 2 (01:13:53):
Yeah, it's really good, good stuff. That's honestly very impressive.
And hopefully the dogs are impress you on that myself.

Speaker 13 (01:14:03):
So I'm excited to see the dogs. And my kids
are coming and they love music.

Speaker 3 (01:14:07):
So yes, are you gonna do who let the dogs out?

Speaker 11 (01:14:09):
Probably not?

Speaker 3 (01:14:10):
Okay, it will be a complete dog show.

Speaker 2 (01:14:15):
They are a fun band. They are a very fun band.
Like the time they dressed up as the Cleveland Browns.

Speaker 11 (01:14:19):
You should, you know, y'all should stop out Sunday.

Speaker 2 (01:14:22):
I'll see if I have to see my fourth quarter.
I got.

Speaker 3 (01:14:27):
Home, I got built a cowboy now that he just.

Speaker 2 (01:14:31):
Talked about happened last Tuesday.

Speaker 11 (01:14:33):
He'll be in the bus, He'll be in.

Speaker 2 (01:14:36):
The book maybe probably. Yeah, that's exactly what work hard.

Speaker 3 (01:14:40):
Now, I know, plice as hard as normal.

Speaker 11 (01:14:43):
Imagine, I know this is this has.

Speaker 2 (01:14:45):
Been great, right, this is easy. This is easy. It's
the stuff a lot of caffeine. All right, Well, very
nice to meet you. And I I love learning about
best buddies. I had heard of. It wasn't all that
familiar with it. And I love knowing about that inclusive playground.

Speaker 13 (01:14:58):
I think people need to be aware that, Yeah, we
have so many resources in Rochester that do amazing things.

Speaker 2 (01:15:02):
Yeah, they really do.

Speaker 13 (01:15:04):
It's nice to connect all the pieces together.

Speaker 2 (01:15:06):
Uh huh, I like that and uh Steve the Dogs,
yeah anytime, man, I love it.

Speaker 11 (01:15:12):

Speaker 9 (01:16:56):
I need living, loving, unneeded, now do you sweet? Begging
them deep in shup.

Speaker 2 (01:17:17):
I don't know why I did like Room five. I'm
not kidding because I don't care.

Speaker 9 (01:17:25):
What left taps. Shut up.

Speaker 3 (01:17:29):
Yes, I'm sat there.

Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
I always love this video. And everybody's like, it's fucking
set up, you asshole, But it's it's where they go
into weddings and they're supposed to be band, they're supposed
to be DJ or DJ's pushed off to the side
and people come start putting in. They put up scaffolding
in a big curtain and they're setting up behind it,
and the father of the bride's like looking all pissed

(01:18:07):
off and ship and then the curtain drops and it's
Maroon five and the like. Somebody goes from the band
and pulls the bride and groom up and says, just
stand right here right like, and they come sneaking in
through the back right and then like this guy's skinning
up and he goes, this is stand right here because
this is a wedding right now. They're all walking through

(01:18:28):
like the kitchen with their instruments and stuff. Peoplere like
what's going on in and the like the the husband
kind of stands there for a second puzzle. Every chick goes,
oh my god. And I don't know why because I'm
I'm I'm a Vangina. I don't know if you're aware
of this, are you? I'm Miranngina. It's my sensitive side.

(01:18:51):
I actually always loved.

Speaker 3 (01:18:52):
This, like I love I appreciate that that is cute.
I thought I was excue you hear Nold Gallagher story
about the guys from Maroon five. Do you know who
nol gallaghery? So Oasis is back on tour.

Speaker 2 (01:19:03):
And I heard that. I saw Billy iron Eyilish and
her family, uh do singing along? Did they in the audience?
They were not on stage. They were singing taking a
selfie'd like a lot of people do. And Rolling Stone
got ahold of it.

Speaker 3 (01:19:17):
I joke with my wife that I'm like the only
guy in Rochester who loves Oasis and Oasis. So Noel
wrote all the songs. So the story was he's at
a party at some place someplace, and this guy goes,
you know, I was really inspired by your music to
go into the industry. Thank He goes, oh, great, thank you?

Speaker 2 (01:19:32):
What band you part of?

Speaker 3 (01:19:34):
He goes, Run five.

Speaker 2 (01:19:36):
Inspires you to be in Room five? That's ship.

Speaker 3 (01:19:40):
My music inspired that, Like, like Noel's irrelevant. He doesn't care, right,
And so later on they go out and the guy
was kind offended later on to the is like the
bass player of the guitar player.

Speaker 2 (01:19:50):
So then later on the guy he goes, hey, I'm
sorry for what I said. He goes whose houses?

Speaker 3 (01:19:54):
He goes, this is my house. Oh, it was like
a party at the guy's house that I consulted.

Speaker 2 (01:19:59):
That's awesome. That is awesome. That would be like he
just doesn't care. But that was like hanging out with Wheeze.
He would just say.

Speaker 7 (01:20:07):
Shit, like.

Speaker 3 (01:20:10):
These people, these people owning this house.

Speaker 2 (01:20:21):
I want to know, since this video has been made,
how many of these couples are still together? Just just
my question. I don't know why. See this is where
my head goes. I'll give you another one where my
head goes on things. I have not talked about this,
and it was news everywhere. The Phillies game where the
father goes over the ball gets hit and lands in

(01:20:41):
the in the stands, in the seat, and then she
picked a couple of hands and I've heard him talk
about it. A couple of hands went in. He was
the one who pulled it away, goes back, puts it
in his son. The video is fantastic this guy, because
he walks back, she's like on fire right behind him.
He drops it in his son. He's got his arm
straight around his son, his son's tenth birthday. Drops the

(01:21:02):
ball in the kid's glove. Home run ball. Harrison Bader,
former Yankee, hit it now with the Phillies. Uh, he's
got his arms and she comes over and she's screaming.
According to him in his ear, that's my ball. But
the way he reacts, it's like it scared the ship
out of him. Have you seen this?

Speaker 3 (01:21:23):
But well, you're not used to some chick out of.

Speaker 10 (01:21:27):
It.

Speaker 3 (01:21:27):
Looks like she just came out of a super roo.

Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
How fucking dare you? I drive us alternative?

Speaker 3 (01:21:35):
What you're call it an alternative super rou? That sounds
pretty pretty active by all top. Yeah, that's that sums
up Superhuo drivers, Billy, I'll say that. Yeah, you were
bequeathed the super Let's not kid ourselves, okay. But yeah,
by the way, I don't think this woman should lose
her job. Did she lose her job?

Speaker 2 (01:21:51):
I read some words too.

Speaker 3 (01:21:53):
I hope not, because that's see that's the other side
of cancer cultures. But that she had a bad moment.
Maybe it's it's the culmination of who she is as
a person, which would be awful. But that said that
shouldn't like fire her.

Speaker 2 (01:22:05):
That's not cool either.

Speaker 3 (01:22:06):
No, two wrongs don't make a right here.

Speaker 2 (01:22:09):
But man, that was terrible. I want to play this
portion of the audio because they did a long interview
with ten Philly and they did the ten uh I
guess at ten NBC in Philadelphia.

Speaker 3 (01:22:20):
I gotta be careful. My friend Shorsha drives a super
ru I just realized.

Speaker 2 (01:22:23):
But yeah, there you go.

Speaker 3 (01:22:23):
Yeah, I'll tell them I apologize.

Speaker 2 (01:22:26):
But this is so What they do is they do
a long form interview, they take clips of it, they
put in the news. I think this interview is like
seventeen minutes long. It's the father and the two kids,
and I just I mean, he I just go. I
hope I never react that way on camera? Right, Well
you know what I mean, you have your worst moment?

Speaker 3 (01:22:46):
Yeah yeah, oh yeah, both of them. Yeah yeah, you're right,
he like the dude, Yeah yeah, like I could see
if you see a spider like today, I had one
of those moments. It's probably on somebody's nam doorbell camera. Right,
I open up my mailbox and a wasp comes flying out.
I would right, that's reasonable, that's reasonable, okay, or if
you see or oh ship yeah right right right, but

(01:23:09):
not like no with a woman.

Speaker 2 (01:23:11):
No, unless he was scared of you know, what did
you do with the wasp?

Speaker 3 (01:23:14):
He flew away?

Speaker 2 (01:23:15):
Did you do?

Speaker 4 (01:23:18):
I did? Well?

Speaker 2 (01:23:19):
Yeah, because like yeah, those things.

Speaker 3 (01:23:20):
Sting like bees at least do have a job. They
pollinate the planet, they keep it going, they make honey.
Wasp was just a douchebag.

Speaker 2 (01:23:28):
I don't think that. I I don't think they have
a purpose. I don't think I I don't know how
I react in a lot of situations.

Speaker 3 (01:23:34):
Well, Jameson's gonna let us know.

Speaker 2 (01:23:35):
At one point or another dead I had to kill
that mouse. No, see, I think I think there's a
rat for rat. All right, listen to this. Here people
behind us, and they're all yelling. He's saying, they're all
standing there like they're all what's happening?

Speaker 5 (01:23:56):
And the booze started and they were very intense once
they Once it got going, you could you could feel
the depth of the how many booze from the stadium.

Speaker 14 (01:24:10):
I don't know if it was up on the TV
or not. I couldn't check. I was kind of busy
in the moment. And she sat down with I guess
her husband or whatever, and.

Speaker 4 (01:24:22):
The booze got so bad.

Speaker 14 (01:24:23):
He was he was kind of trying to keep off camera,
and eventually he got up and started walking away, and
she was hollering at him for something. She even got
up and was yelling and pointing and whatever, and he
just walked away.

Speaker 2 (01:24:36):
He walked up, And that is my favorite favorite part
of this whole story. I don't want to talk to
anybody else in this story, But who, Dandy, who do
I want to interview? That's right, I want to talk
to that motherfucker. I want to know how the fuck
guy you can't get that dog on a leash? Come on, man,

(01:24:56):
fucking talk some sense into that Two tome fucking hair bitch, or.

Speaker 3 (01:25:00):
On the flip side, or on the flip side, like
every guy, I just don't want to hear it.

Speaker 2 (01:25:05):
Of course I get it, I'll believe me.

Speaker 3 (01:25:08):
I can't believe I'm not getting dragged into this. Like
we got a buddy who was in a car with
his then wife sitting in the passage. You see, he
was in the driver's seat and the construction truck in
front of him apparently wasn't moving fast enough. So the
wife or the ex wife leans over and starts talking

(01:25:28):
the horn, and the dude in the construction truck puts
the car park or truck and park.

Speaker 2 (01:25:33):
It gets out, and our friends.

Speaker 3 (01:25:35):
Like, you want to write that check?

Speaker 2 (01:25:37):
Looking at his wife, you want to write that check.
You want to cash that check. You want to cash
that check. But that's what I should say all this,
and you go, I'm with you. Don't fire this lady.
I know I heard that today. I hope it's not true.

Speaker 3 (01:25:55):
Don't make it.

Speaker 2 (01:25:55):
I don't think the kid is that traumatized. Uh, we
live in a world that fast. Because the father even
says the guy's name is Drew felt Well and he's
the one who got the ball and gave it to
his son, Lincoln, who's.

Speaker 3 (01:26:07):
And eventually gave it back to the Yeah, he just
gave it back.

Speaker 2 (01:26:12):
I don't know what her name is, and we don't
need to give it bring you more attention, But yeah
I didn't Karen.

Speaker 3 (01:26:18):
She they called him Caroen, which is bad because if
your name Karen, we know some nice Karen. Yes, they're
all cool.

Speaker 2 (01:26:24):
Do you I know one nice Karen? Yeah, it's another Karen.

Speaker 3 (01:26:27):
You know the our friend Scott's wife. They used to
live here. You actually went to Taylor's with them.

Speaker 2 (01:26:34):
Oh this, Yeah, they don't live here anymore.

Speaker 3 (01:26:35):
No, they moved to Florida.

Speaker 2 (01:26:37):
They're swinging down there.

Speaker 3 (01:26:38):
No, they don't do that anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:26:39):
Are you sure?

Speaker 4 (01:26:39):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:26:40):
I asked, Yeah, but I mean I asked specifically. I go, so,
how's I kind of joked around about it about ten
years ago.

Speaker 2 (01:26:47):
Do you have a number for him?

Speaker 4 (01:26:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:26:48):
Yeah, I would love to talk to him about getting
out of the swinger life.

Speaker 3 (01:26:52):
Okay, yeah, they both got out. I think there were
specific reasons. I'm not going to delve into them because
people might know them from what I was told that
they got.

Speaker 2 (01:26:59):
Out of it. They got Do you have a way
to contact him.

Speaker 3 (01:27:02):
Yeah, I got their numbers.

Speaker 10 (01:27:04):
I was.

Speaker 3 (01:27:04):
I was at their going away party, you were, yeah,
Oh wow. It was at a bar that's now a
car wash in Henrietta. Oh bar Louis. They tore down
of Kevin's Buddies car washes.

Speaker 2 (01:27:16):
Apparently, do you uh? Okay? So at the going away party,
did anything happen? No, no hooking up, no, no, no, no,
no trying to get you to be Danny the Bull.

Speaker 3 (01:27:26):
No. In fact, one time, I guess, I guess unbeknownst
to me, I guess that almost happened.

Speaker 2 (01:27:32):
Really, you told me about it? What do you mean?
Apparently like we were out.

Speaker 3 (01:27:36):
I was out at a place like on the the
West Side, at a bar, and and the two of
them were there, and apparently she wanted to take me home.

Speaker 2 (01:27:44):
Oh, and I had no idea.

Speaker 3 (01:27:46):
Yeah, and even if I had, like, I appreciate that,
but no, I'm sorry, I can't do that, you know. Yeah,
but but I didn't know this. And the husband contacted
you had said Danny had no idea, Yes, yes, what
he could have had, And I was like, yes, I
do you realize my name is Christian Damn?

Speaker 2 (01:28:05):
Yeah? But so what.

Speaker 3 (01:28:08):
Fun kill the flesh bill kill.

Speaker 2 (01:28:11):
She said, have fun one trip. No, he said, he
said the all Where was that? The Maccabees and the
Catholic Bible.

Speaker 3 (01:28:19):
Yes, it says, don't say that, billy, billy, do not
add to the word of God, especially that please like no,
like you.

Speaker 2 (01:28:28):
Guys made a whole segment of it. People times check.
Tommy's going to He's going.

Speaker 3 (01:28:34):
Your Lord gave you, gave you urgent and mains you
human being, and you didn't you passed that up. I'm like,
pass it up.

Speaker 2 (01:28:42):
I didn't know it was available.

Speaker 3 (01:28:43):
But even if I did, No, I'm not doing that.

Speaker 2 (01:28:46):
Yeah, I think. I think I couldn't have done it myself. No,
I would have gotten to weird it out.

Speaker 3 (01:28:51):
I couldn't do it. I wouldn't do it.

Speaker 2 (01:28:54):
I I only couldn't do it. I only played one
on one. Yeah, one on one.

Speaker 3 (01:28:57):
No, that's no.

Speaker 2 (01:28:59):
No, it was long before my boo no wife, Yes
it was. I had to Yeah, yeah, but if her number.
But all I could think about was this whole thing
with this kid. And I thought of it before, and
then it was reminded when I watched this interview, I go,
what about the person who came to the game with her,

(01:29:22):
and I go, if that's her husband, I do wonder
if you end up divorced like like, because this cannot
be the first time. No, something like this has happened. No,
I'm gonna tell you. Oh no, I'm not saying that.
I'm not saying that it has happened in a ballgame
where she's gone and demanded a ball for somebody. There's

(01:29:42):
been other incidence. Now have they had many balls? Are
they season ticket holders? And many balls have been hit
there and everybody else gets them and she's just fucking
had it. But you took it. I mean a ten
year old kid and the father like I guess some
of the guys on uh some sports station. It wasn't
the ESPN or like, now watch this. He takes the
ball and gives her and one guy goes, well, I

(01:30:04):
think he showed how to de escalate a situation. I
think that's a great fathers And he goes, I wouldn't
have done that, And I'm going, yeah, what do you do?
You like hit her like, shove her away? You know
what I'm saying. I mean that that's what happens next.
And I'm not even saying like your first instinct is
to hit. If this woman is screaming in your ear
and you're standing by your kid, and you may have

(01:30:27):
just put your hand out, and God forbid, she fell.
You know what I'm saying, right, but all you do
is put your hand out because it's so jarring. I'm
not saying, you know, I thought so when you look
at this other than the it's scare. I thought the
guy handled her well. And in the end, the Marlins

(01:30:48):
came up with a gift bag, and then he got
to meet the player. But the only one I want
to talk to the only one I want to talk
to is the husband who was like, get me. I
just want the fucking earth to open up and follow
this entire stadium. I just want to disappear. I don't
want to be anywhere near you. I don't I don't
know you, I mean honestly. And then you gotta wonder

(01:31:09):
like she looked like she was a little bit older,
a little well, I'm gonna say mid fifties.

Speaker 3 (01:31:17):
I mean, like, you know, my fifties, early sixties, okay,
driving a super.

Speaker 2 (01:31:20):
Root Okay, but she's married and she well she uh
where the pants? Listen to you?

Speaker 4 (01:31:30):
Now?

Speaker 2 (01:31:31):
Look, you can each have a leg in the pant
can't you each have a leg in the panky? So
she see? But this dude, I mean, I don't even
know you derailed me here For a second, I'm just no, no,
it's I'm just thinking, like, where did this guy?

Speaker 4 (01:31:50):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:31:50):
Where does he go? What does he say afterwards? What's
the cause there? What's the ride home?

Speaker 6 (01:31:55):
Leg?

Speaker 2 (01:31:55):
What's what I mean? What are the kids? What are
the kids saying?

Speaker 3 (01:31:58):
Yeah, you know, because I probably have adult children.

Speaker 2 (01:32:01):
Yes, that's what I mean. And this guy said he
got a ton of text messages as soon as it
went down because it was on camera. I think they
showed it in the stadium. Yeah, because they home run ball.

Speaker 3 (01:32:12):
You can't do nothing no more.

Speaker 2 (01:32:14):
I thought, No, we've had this summer, We've had a
couple busted having an affair, play show, and we've had
this incident. I'm sure there's been others, but I'm missing.
But either way, one of your worst moment. Okay, so
what do you do if that is your wife? What
do you do? What do you say in the car?

Speaker 3 (01:32:32):
Beth would never do that.

Speaker 2 (01:32:34):
It's not what I said. That's not what I said.
I said. If that were your wife, if she did
something like that.

Speaker 3 (01:32:41):
Great, great, honey, we are now going viral because you
had to have an eight dollars baseball.

Speaker 2 (01:32:47):
Okay, so you would say that, Oh yeah, I would
say nothing on purpose, like I wouldn't say anything because
there's nothing I'm going to say.

Speaker 3 (01:32:55):
We have microphones, so I had to say something.

Speaker 2 (01:32:57):
No, no, well I'm telling you what I say. No,
I agree with you. You could do it. I just
I think in that moment, I would say fucking nothing.
It would be a silent ride home and I wouldn't
say anything. Or I would be like, uh, who am I?
Oh good thing, I got my ball. Still, I'm glad
you got I'm glad.

Speaker 3 (01:33:17):
You got your But I don't think that guy's saying anything.

Speaker 2 (01:33:20):
No, that's what I mean.

Speaker 3 (01:33:21):
I'm just I think you would be just saying nothing
out of disgust. I think he's saying nothing because he's
a pussy.

Speaker 2 (01:33:28):
Maybe, but I don't know part of my language.

Speaker 3 (01:33:31):
It happened so fast, so angry today, so fast. I'm
just saying a lot of bad words today, yeah, which
I never do. It's like when it's it's like when
Josh Allen like fumbles, he hasn't done that while what's
going on.

Speaker 2 (01:33:43):
I think you have said in the past that all
sin is equal in God's eyes.

Speaker 3 (01:33:49):
No, all is Yeah, I have, and that's not correct.
All his sin, but that doesn't mean it's equal. Okay,
murder is not equal to swearing.

Speaker 2 (01:33:57):
No, I was gonna say swearing or or gone with
Scott the swinger and his wife. I don't know. You
might even know.

Speaker 3 (01:34:04):
It's all sin, but like there are greater sins. Unless
it's all sin, it's all bad. None of it's good.
But I mean, it doesn't necessarily mean that sin is equal.
That's not that's not I've said that in the past,
and I was wrong for saying that. I said that
on the radio show. I'd ever said that here. Now,
as far as back to the story, one thing I

(01:34:24):
miss about, and we do this on this show that
we would do on our old show that nobody else
would do is always interviewed the person we either got arrested, yes,
or who was the loser in the case yes, or
we always got the better story. Everybody else would always
go for the winner or the champion or the police officer,
which is great, but we always got like we like
they were the one guy we interviewed, he ended up

(01:34:48):
like he was polygamous and didn't realize it. He was
married to two women at the same time because his
divorced paperwork wasn't filed properly, and so he came on
the show with us to talk about it. Right, And
most shows like the but the other.

Speaker 2 (01:35:00):
One that you mentioned earlier, I can't believe this guy.

Speaker 3 (01:35:03):
Yeah, because they're so stupid, so A to B thought,
So I'm gonna go off now, sucks mouth breathing idiots
who served the white trash of the Rochester area and
somehow had great ratings because they were just just just
because we have so many ambi minded people in this
freaking community, Okay, And yet we would do we would
let's talk to the let's talk to the dude to
come into the crime.

Speaker 2 (01:35:23):
Let's talk to the guy who lost the case. Let's
talk because that's always the better story. Yeah, well, isn't it.
Because here's the thing. And they would talk to us,
why because we would hear them, we would listen. Nobody
else would uh my my, uh. I don't know if
that was that was a me thing. I think more
or less on that show with that when we would do.

Speaker 3 (01:35:44):
Yeah, but like Tommy also like loved it too.

Speaker 2 (01:35:46):
He didn't want to talk to No, no, no, I'm
not saying that, but I would. That was my preference
and and my thinking behind all this stuff is like,
everybody's going to talk to the father and this little boy. Great,
so you're gonna get that story. Uh, everybody's gonna talk
to possibly her. What were you thinking, She's not gonna talk.

Speaker 3 (01:36:05):
No, she ain't talking.

Speaker 2 (01:36:06):
But if somebody could just find the husband and go, man,
even if it was even if he doesn't talk into
a camera or a microphone, and he could just get
in to go, oh my god, right now, you.

Speaker 3 (01:36:21):
See what I've been living with for the last picture
a thousand.

Speaker 2 (01:36:24):
Know, He's like, it's just it's right there. It's so perfect.

Speaker 3 (01:36:27):
Tony Kornheiser do you know who he is? He was
a writer for the Washington Post for years. He and
Michael Wilbond just resigned to the ESPN, the godfathers of
just just sports talk in general. He had a line,
and that's the greatest line in terms of storytelling, goes
the best stories always in the losing locker room. In life, yes,
not just not in sports. He was a sports it
was a sports reference. The better stories always in the

(01:36:49):
losing locker room, right, always right, and and we would
always go that route.

Speaker 2 (01:36:53):
The second person I wanted to talk to is the
mother of the kid, as you watched all this go down,
and another woman, another woman perspective, what would you do
like that to me? Would be interesting more entry. I
don't give a I mean, every yes, we should all
be happy. The father did a nice thing, and that okay,
everybody else can stand in applaud. I want to talk
to you YouTube brods, come over here, here, here, hey,

(01:37:17):
come talk to me. That would just be interesting to me.
And I really want to talk to the husband.

Speaker 3 (01:37:21):
Oh my god, yes that's the better story, just even
if here's no story. His reaction, Oh yes, God, I
mean terrible, Billy, terrible, terrible, terrible.

Speaker 2 (01:37:32):
Wonderful, never like I forget when this happened.

Speaker 3 (01:37:36):
Last Friday night, Thursday or Friday.

Speaker 2 (01:37:38):
Night to her all throughout the weekend, thanks like Friday
night out? I mean, did he just go fuck it?
I'm sleeping in the basement. I can't you know what
I mean. I'm dying to know the answers to this,
because that was pretty Hanus what she did anything else happening.

Speaker 3 (01:37:56):
I apologize for my little ran the why what what's
the matter?

Speaker 2 (01:38:00):
That was what are we doing? What are you doing?

Speaker 3 (01:38:03):
That was what people of Rochester are good people?

Speaker 2 (01:38:05):
No, h are good?

Speaker 3 (01:38:08):
Yeah, well, there were some shows that served the mouth
breeders in the rock cush.

Speaker 2 (01:38:12):
I understand. I thought they did well. I thought they
did a great show for what it was. It wasn't
my I used to say that all wasn't your style,
not my style. But I see the value. I see it. Yeah,
I see. They were good. Yeah. Look, they were the
only good afternoon show ninety five one ever had, truly like,
oh yeah, afternoon drive show. Let me put it out, yes, yes, yeah,

(01:38:33):
you get because we we we crossed into the afternoon,
but we were not an afternoon drive show.

Speaker 3 (01:38:38):
You considered a midday show.

Speaker 2 (01:38:39):
Yes, okay, we were considered a midday Yeah that is true, bunny. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:38:43):
And it was number one one, yes often, but they
uh yeah, yeah, you made fun of me on that
show once.

Speaker 2 (01:38:50):
Yes, I did getting into the Hall of Fame.

Speaker 3 (01:38:53):
No, which wasn't.

Speaker 2 (01:38:55):
I couldn't get into the hall. I did not get
into I didn't get into the Hall of Fame.

Speaker 3 (01:38:58):
I actually mentioned you in my speech, by the way,
I said, there's several people who belong in here, and
I stumped for you, and I stumped for a few
other people.

Speaker 2 (01:39:07):
Well they've and they've since closed the Hall of Fame.

Speaker 3 (01:39:10):
It's yeah because the well, the guy that the Hall
of Fame is named after, has passed away. But apparently
there was a falling out and so he did. Since
twenty twelve, nobody's been inducted.

Speaker 2 (01:39:20):
Which is a shame. I don't even know if that's
a major there anymore. Yeah, it is, is it? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:39:25):
Because on Senior Day when I announced the seniors, I
have not announced that so and so is graduate with
the communication journalism. I have not said those words in years.

Speaker 2 (01:39:35):
We need to change that.

Speaker 3 (01:39:36):
Yeah, we should, seriously, we need to should. We should.

Speaker 2 (01:39:40):
We got to get on it to get it.

Speaker 3 (01:39:41):
So I apologize for my anger time, Charlie. That's part
of it. That's a big part of it. I mean,
it's the whole thing is it's just awful. It is
Hie for the Dogs, charity, gig for There's something to

(01:40:01):
make you smile.

Speaker 2 (01:40:03):
Best buddies. Uh I took for Dan Barrillo and uh
I like that rhymean shirt.

Speaker 3 (01:40:09):
I stood on the stage.

Speaker 2 (01:40:11):
I stood on the stage.

Speaker 3 (01:40:13):
My wife told me, all right, get off, you're holding
up the line. Take scrad Old Appry Boom. I'll never
have his Bubbt again.

Speaker 9 (01:40:23):
I'll hold your guitar.

Speaker 2 (01:40:25):
