Bill welcomes Matt, Mark, Laura, and special guest Pete Frank—lead singer of The Highway Boys and ZBTB. The show kicks off with a mysterious technical glitch in Kevin’s usual seat, sparking wild theories about possible sabotage. But when Laura discovers a single brunette hair, Bill declares women are natural detectives—leading to hilarious stories from the viral site Are We Dating the Same Guy?

Laura reveals her surprising connection to the legendary Rochester band Nick and the Nice Guys, and Pete Frank shares his musical journey—from forming ZBTB and The Highway Boys, to conversations with both Zac Brown and Zach Bryan. Pete is also part of a massive concert coming Saturday, August 16, featuring his band the Highway Boys (a Zach Bryan Tribute) and The M80s—plus VIP perks, ticket details, and an extended discount deadline.

The crew dives into tales of pranks, the East Side vs. West Side music rivalry, and Laura’s firsthand experience at the Floating Circus on the Erie Canal. Pete reflects on music’s power to unite people and build friendships—while Bill ponders if OnlyFans is fueling loneliness. Things get even wilder with the story of Annie Charlotte, whose rare condition is turning into a serious moneymaker online.

With football season heating up, Bill plays a surprising NFL press conference moment, Matt weighs in on Dak Prescott’s preseason prediction, and the gang uncovers a fascinating fact about Rochester’s place in the music world—second only to Nashville. From laugh-out-loud banter to rock ‘n’ roll revelations, this episode has it all.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
The guys wanted to such ship.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Yeah, because it's because guys don't. What are they gonna

Speaker 5 (02:02):
You gotta be half gay to go be fucking ratting

Speaker 2 (02:06):
And who's she fucking?

Speaker 5 (02:08):
Is? Not me?

Speaker 2 (02:08):
I can't. I think people do it just to get
back at people.

Speaker 5 (02:11):
That could be, I guess. But the funny part is,
like the earring thing is something. Yeah, it's the panties
in the glove box that you worry about.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Like some girls see, oh yeah, that's my Can I
come get it?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Don't you wish they would?

Speaker 5 (02:26):

Speaker 3 (02:29):

he had a girlfriend, so yeah, I'm gonna come get it. Yeah,
Oh I bet it does happen.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
Oh I bet?

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:36):
Well, if you didn't know, and if it was a
nice set of earrings, I really like those. They went
with my favorite.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
I know.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
You know what am I gonna do?

Speaker 6 (02:42):
He did I leave my dress in his backseat?

Speaker 5 (02:45):
Too?

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (02:46):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Has that happened? Laura?

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Laura?

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Have you wait? Have you left an entire outfit and
somebody's been home in your underwear? No?

Speaker 7 (02:56):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:58):
I feel like I've gone home in guy's club.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
Yeah, that's that's pretty standard.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
Yeah, I learned something about you before we even started. Great,
But I don't know if I learned something about you.
What did you do with Nick and the Nice Guys?

Speaker 6 (03:11):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (03:12):
I am Maybe I should rephrase that.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
What? No, No, that's not what I meant. Like, were
you part of their? Were you on stage where you
a performing?

Speaker 5 (03:28):
But Pete?

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Was you were part of nicking the nice Guys?

Speaker 4 (03:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (03:31):
They had great musicians, Like everywhere you went, they were
you guys played everywhere.

Speaker 7 (03:35):
There has been like every musician in Rochester pretty much
got their start through rich Nick and the nice guys.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
Yeah, it's it's a thing like they have.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
It's like a great trade training ground there was.

Speaker 7 (03:47):
Yeah, there's like one hundred and thirty musicians that all
know the same music for the most part, and you
know the band is put together from that collage.

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Are they still in existence?

Speaker 5 (03:58):
Okay?

Speaker 6 (03:59):
They run out of like Canada now due to uh
oh really Texas and the owner being a Canadian.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Well that would make sense.

Speaker 6 (04:08):
But yeah, I mean we had a roster, so I
worked in the office and I would help do more
of Once someone would book one of our bands because
there was nine different bands. We had like four hundred
performers or something. When you would book a band, I
would help you plan your event. Oh that was more
my size.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Yeah, I did like.

Speaker 6 (04:30):
That actual planning of everything, not as much of the music,
but I would sit there and I would create like
the lists of who was going to be on my
gigs and everything.

Speaker 5 (04:39):
And how many musicians were therapete at the same time,
Like they had a number of didn't they have different
outfits that they would send out.

Speaker 4 (04:46):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, there was like.

Speaker 7 (04:48):
I think over two hundred and fifty people that are
all the organization. It's like a fraternity really yeah, and
you know there would be ten trumpet players and fifteen
lead guitar players and twelve rhythm guitars and and you
just kind of a lot of people were in it,
like Morgan Twins were in it with me for years.

Speaker 5 (05:05):
Oh really, favorite Mark is I thought you had to
have talented being.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
That's what he does.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Do you see some untalented people the same beat?

Speaker 4 (05:20):
I will go to my death defying.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Look at that.

Speaker 8 (05:25):
You can love them all you want, but they've never
seen two people got so much credit for being untalented.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
And they have four chairs. I don't know, it's true.

Speaker 7 (05:36):
I've I've gotten harmonized really really well. It's like the
same voice harmonizing on top of the on top, it's itself.

Speaker 4 (05:44):
It's great.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
It's like a layer track almost.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
You're still talking about what.

Speaker 6 (05:50):
So many people that Pete plays with now Tim Man Allison,
like those are all nick guys. And so I have stayed.
You know, I love live music. I am at live
music as much as possible. So I loved working with
the band because then I would go to the gigs
like and go and watch them.

Speaker 5 (06:09):
But they were always entertaining, coordinated. I think you know
who was in there, Tony Tony Infantino. Yes, oh, Tony
Infantino was a singer from one one one point three.
I think he was a singer with Nick and the
nice guys. I believe he was, and he's I mean,
and I remember hearing him singing.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
I went, holy shit, he could sing. Yeah, the guy
could say.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
I was like, wow, that's it's a good talent I
never had at all. So from there, we're what band
is for you next after you? Or do you stay
in Nick for a little while? And then if.

Speaker 7 (06:39):
I had an original band that nobody had ever heard
of for like eight years and then I got into
Nick and I did that for god, I want to say,
six or seven years.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Uh huh uh.

Speaker 7 (06:49):
And then I went on hiatus because I was married
and uh my ex wife preferred me not to do
music and uh and so I gave that up for
three years and then I got divorced.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
And then that's where zb TV.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
It's hard because most of this stuff, I mean, I
don't know what you know, the thing in your marriage,
but most of your gigs Aret night, Yeah, oh yeah, absolutely, yeah,
I know.

Speaker 4 (07:10):
It's uh and then the ladies right.

Speaker 6 (07:13):
The traveling we would send you guys, I mean anywhere?

Speaker 7 (07:17):
Yeah, no, like, yeah, it was just you know, everything
works out for a recon you know. Without all of that,
I wouldn't have ever been able to start zb TV.
So yeah, honestly my life has worked exactly the way
God's plan, uh for.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
It was for me. Yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 7 (07:39):
Like but yeah, it's uh the ZBTV and I think
you're fourteen with that now, so it's it's been doing good.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
So you're doing it does so good?

Speaker 8 (07:49):
Did other other musicians in Rochester had to put another
band together?

Speaker 4 (07:53):
Got my own tribute?

Speaker 5 (07:54):
Yeah, that's awesome zb TV TV.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Well did you just.

Speaker 6 (08:02):
Watched Happy Gilmore too? Did you guys watch it?

Speaker 5 (08:05):
So when that were and everybody I see people all over,
I loved it.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
It's gonna be cheesy. It was cheesy. It was.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
It was so the live golf tour and that the
way they were played in the end, that though.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
That was great.

Speaker 6 (08:17):
But when bad Bunny plays the caddy and he's like, oh,
I got my own caddy and they're like caddies don't
get caddy, it is like it's like ZBTV doesn't get
another zb TV, like.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
And that's been proven they don't.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
Yeah, so zb TV, was you do the Zach Bryan
you also do Zach Brown, right, so yeah.

Speaker 7 (08:35):
So cb TV has been a thing for a while.
Uh last maybe around this time last year, one of
the big venues we play in Long Island. The owner
who I never talked to and he's like like he
knows everybody, but uh called me and asked me if
I know anything about Zach Ryan. And I was like, yeah,
I know the guy that owns Zach Bryantribute band dot com.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
He's a great who.

Speaker 7 (08:56):
I was like, that's me I do, like because I
bought it, like I don't know, three years ago.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
I really liked the Zach Bryant catalog.

Speaker 7 (09:03):
Yeah, and I thought that something would happen with it,
so like wow.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
That was like Jesus, dude, that's way ahead, Like you're
ahead of the record.

Speaker 8 (09:12):
Company definitely did his zb TV though, Yeah, I mean
he was way ahead of his.

Speaker 7 (09:18):
Everyone to be in zb TV initially asked me who
Zach Brown is really like, and every you know.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
You know, like, I think he's right now, he's in
Europe touring Zach Brown. I think I just read something.

Speaker 7 (09:31):
He just went through a terrible divorce and he's gonna
need some money.

Speaker 6 (09:35):
That song that uh the Spear I'm going in December.

Speaker 7 (09:40):
Yeah, we're trying to go to that too. Ye like yeah,
it's uh that That's a show I.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Don't want to miss.

Speaker 5 (09:46):
But have you ever met him?

Speaker 4 (09:48):
I've not met him?

Speaker 2 (09:49):
To him on the phone, you have, yes? Why?

Speaker 1 (09:53):
No?

Speaker 4 (09:53):
No? No?

Speaker 5 (09:53):
No.

Speaker 7 (09:53):
I I was making sure he was gonna yell me.

Speaker 4 (09:56):
Uh we were opening.

Speaker 7 (10:00):
He opened for Randy Houser in Syracuse in twenty thirteen,
and we ended up. I ended up hanging out with
Randy and his guys because they had the next day off,
and I kind of blew into work and blah blah blah.
But like, we ended up doing like a bar crawl
where I couldn't tell anybody who I was with and
all the like.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
It was.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
It was a weird day for me because all the
bartenders knew me, and I was like, who are these guys?
There's just some guys from out of town, you know.

Speaker 7 (10:25):
And but you know, towards the end of that day,
Randy was like, have you even talked to Zach Brown?

Speaker 4 (10:31):
Does he know that you're doing this?

Speaker 7 (10:33):
I was like I doubt it, Like I've never talked
to him, and he's like, well, I used to write
with him, so like I can call him. And and
he called him and put me on the phone with
him for just a couple of minutes, and I was like,
I don't owe you any money or anything, do I
because like, like we're not.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Making Zach Brown money, We're making the Tribute bay of money.
It's the same.

Speaker 5 (10:52):
Motive flattering thing for him.

Speaker 7 (10:54):
Yeah, No, he was great. He basically he basically just said,
don't suck. Yeah, like, if you're going to do the music,
do the music right. That's why we always have sad.

Speaker 5 (11:04):
But then you just had his buddy who could verify
that because you opened up for him.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:08):
Yeah, that's that's like the greatest compliment.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
You could get. You don't think he's calling Zach Brown
if you sucked.

Speaker 4 (11:13):
Yeah, No, Randy was. Actually I could hear the conversation.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
He was going, I can see it coming.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
Okay, I see the hell?

Speaker 4 (11:21):
What?

Speaker 8 (11:21):
Sorry, did Randy Hauser think anybody would give a fuck
who he was during a pub crawl?

Speaker 3 (11:29):
I'm a national recording artist.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Yeah, that's what's his name.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
I had to go back and rewind in my head
because I thought it was Zach Brown you were on
the pub crawl with. And then when I realized it
was Randy Hawser, I'm like, I'm not exactly sure I
know who that.

Speaker 2 (11:42):
Is, but I hardly know he is. I'm a country
fan he had.

Speaker 7 (11:45):
I didn't even know who the who he was when
they booked the gig for us, and so the book,
the gigs are booked like a year in.

Speaker 4 (11:51):
Advance a lot of the time, and this is one
of those. And they were like, yeah. I was like,
who's Randy Houser. You're gonna, Oh, You're gonna be opening
for Randy Hauser. Great, who's Randy Hauser? Always some Nashville
guy looked him up? Nobody's heard of him. Sometime between then.

Speaker 7 (12:04):
And the week that we played with him, his song
went number one, running out of Midnight Wow Win number
one the week that we opened for them. So we
were playing at Keg's Canal Side in Syracuse, which can
hold about I don't know, two thousand people. Sixteen thousand
people showed up. Yeah, yeah, and yeah and uh.

Speaker 5 (12:23):
Eventry's Big Country Radio in Syracuse was the number one
for many many years, and it was mostly a music
like even their morning show was music intensive.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
Yeah, no, and it was.

Speaker 7 (12:34):
It was wild for us because that was the biggest
crowd we'd ever played for. And uh, and it was
really cool.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
Meeting Randy and the guys.

Speaker 7 (12:42):
And they were super cool guys because they had just popped,
so they had not they're not tired of it yet. Yeah,
you know, so they were kind. You know, I think
there's a after a certain amount of time being in
the public spotlight and being a celebrity.

Speaker 4 (12:58):
I think a lot of folks lose their kindness.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Who who's What were you gonna say?

Speaker 5 (13:03):
Because I saw, I see you squirming over there market,
I see it, I see it.

Speaker 2 (13:06):
I see all these things. The Morgan Twins gets you up,
said Randy House. No, I like Randy. Randy Hauser isn't bad.
It's not like he sucks. Morgan Twins sucked Randy Hausers.

Speaker 6 (13:15):
You're gonna get him killed. The Morgan Twins since high school.
So I get this ship all the time.

Speaker 5 (13:20):
Good.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
I'm glad somebody else defense.

Speaker 5 (13:22):
You know.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
I think they're very good.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
What were you gonna say?

Speaker 8 (13:26):
But I just don't understand these and I'm gonna come
be I'm gonna calm be because they're not up, you
know what I mean, They're not worth.

Speaker 9 (13:33):
They're not Zach Brown, right, Okay, they have such they
don't have the egos yet, but they think like, actually,
if Pete's to walk around and do a pub crawl,
more people know Pete than they if he was to
say this is Randy Hauser, I'd be like, I'm not
in twenty thirteen.

Speaker 4 (13:47):
Nobody knew me in twenty thirteen, Like that's well you did.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Oh my.

Speaker 7 (13:54):
It's it's really weird now versus where things were before.
And I'm thinking for it, I'm blessed for it, and
you know, I love it. But yeah, it's it's it's
really funny the impact that the way that people touch
other people. And I feel like I get to touch
a lot of people and uh and try to spread
joy a bit.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Yeah, but touches.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
We've sent two.

Speaker 7 (14:21):
Cruises and been like nowhere near America, and I've been
down at the piano bars singing away and the guy sings, uh,
you know, chicken fried or something, and and people in
the back scream social.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
It's happened twice.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
The last time I saw you was at the State
was at the Thriving Stadium.

Speaker 8 (14:37):
Lord was probably there in a sweet those last seme
I send you guys.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
That's crazy. That was what three four years ago? Yeah,
last time because maybe I was.

Speaker 6 (14:50):
Wait, I need to throw it back again because this
memory also just popped up in my mind. Do you
remember when you did Gilda's Gala? Oh yeah you.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
Somebody, Thank god, somebody did it this night for me?

Speaker 6 (15:04):
The bachelors like, oh, I was like, I'll bet on you.
I was married then was I mean anymore?

Speaker 5 (15:15):
There's all of a sudden, I don't know, you need
to talk about Neil. So then this Saturday Big Night. Yeah,
it's you and the m eighties. Yea, yeah, it's the
Highway Boys, the Highway Voice. So yes, Zach Brian. Guys,
it's the band. Oh that's the Highway I got, I

(15:37):
got you, Okay, the Highway Boys are Zach Bryan.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
Should do your homework. Well, no, I thought TV.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
I thought g B TV could be used for either
Zach Brown or Zach Bryan tribute. Now, so that's what's Yeah,
well I figured it would be. It wasn't making yes,
that's what I thought. It wasn't making sense to me.
So the Highway Boys and the Highway Boys. It's all
Zach Brian.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
Yes, yeah, yeah, yeah, and Zack Brian is blowing up.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (16:04):
I know people who went down the Giant Stadium and
it was a couple nights that he played there.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
I went there. Yeah, he had three nights in the
road at Giants Stadium.

Speaker 5 (16:11):
Yeah, it's unbelievable because that's a huge I don't know
how many people do you think we're at that show?
Because once you open the field, you're talking probably sixty
thousand with the stadium, the suite, and then.

Speaker 7 (16:22):
Like the stadium itself self hypothetically holds sixty thousand, but
you got to think that whole side was I'd say
forty eight maybe fifty, Okay, like by the time they
squeezed everybody onto well maybe they squoazed them all on
the floor, but there was a lot of people there.
It was all three nights, all three nights. So I
got a funny story about that. Zach Bryan's personal manager

(16:44):
called me a couple months ago trying to get us
to do a well he didn't know whether we were
going to or not, but he wanted to kind of
do a prank on Zack Brian. But Unfortunately my kids
graduation party was the Saturday, the nineteenth, and like that
was in the middle of that weekend.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
So there's you can always do your kids graduation party
over again.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
That's business for me, man.

Speaker 5 (17:12):
Yeah, but yeah, what was the prank?

Speaker 7 (17:14):
Do you know, want to say, set up in the
parking lot and then have like you know, bring Zach
around to walk around the parking lot and just have
the tribute band going.

Speaker 6 (17:26):
While like he was just hanging out right.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Right like before.

Speaker 5 (17:32):
What if you jumped up on the stage, that would
have been great, would have.

Speaker 7 (17:35):
Been would have taken the night off, like you know,
could have pissed him off?

Speaker 9 (17:39):
And what the tribute band playing right before him going on?

Speaker 7 (17:42):
It could go either way, right, I thought it was
really questionable decision, and I voiced that out.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
Uh, listens to it on the way to the country
whoever they're going to see it.

Speaker 6 (17:53):
I never understood.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
Yeah, yeah, but what I.

Speaker 7 (17:59):
Already talked him and Jack Brian doesn't carry like Zach
Brian was like, no, go ahead.

Speaker 2 (18:03):
Are you the only Zach Brian tribute band?

Speaker 4 (18:05):
We were when I started? Yeah, now there's another one.

Speaker 2 (18:09):
It's not Rochester, No.

Speaker 4 (18:10):
I got it's kind of like I'm counting the days to.

Speaker 6 (18:13):
You had you had posted about Engaged like a year ago.
I can't say that you had posted about the Zach
Bryan tribute band that you started like a year ago.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
Yes, oh yeah, yeah, because I remember.

Speaker 7 (18:29):
Yeah, I had it all together last April in May,
and our first show was in November. Uh and then
like we've been in five states with that already. Wow,
Like it's gotten really good traction. We sold out in
South Carolina like two thousand tickets, damn, Like and there
were twenty five dollars tickets. It was like, yeah, like
somebody made a lot of.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Money that day. That's good.

Speaker 4 (18:49):
I get it's uh, it's it's working.

Speaker 7 (18:53):
You get the audience that the demographics are very different
between the two bands. Like that's why I don't think
there's a lot of bleed over. Zach Brown is clearly
in the thirty five.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
To fifty five demographic.

Speaker 7 (19:04):
Yeah, and uh, Zach Bryan crowd is really you know,
eighteen to thirty five.

Speaker 2 (19:09):
Yeah, that's great.

Speaker 5 (19:11):
Well, the show is then Saturday Night, Yes, Saturday Night
gates at five thirty five five and the show starts
at six. Man, it's good plays.

Speaker 4 (19:20):
First, I think it's six thirty. It's not okay, we're
playing first see isn't the best?

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Yeah, that's like, you know, you can hang out after.
I never understood what day is always a fri the promoter?

Speaker 3 (19:32):
Is it six thirty and six? J Jay sent me
a text today.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
I got the fly right here?

Speaker 3 (19:38):
Oh no, no, I know, but didn't you talk to Jay?
And I thought it did?

Speaker 6 (19:42):
So what time are we going to get there to
start drink?

Speaker 5 (19:46):
I have something during the day, but after that I'm
free to go. Yeah, y, I'm ready. Yeah, man, I
can't wait. I want to. I want to see it.

Speaker 2 (19:53):
I want to.

Speaker 6 (19:54):
I want to sleep at the bar and wake up
and have brunch.

Speaker 4 (19:59):
We're bringing the US.

Speaker 3 (20:01):
Don't tell her that totally ship Stacey's gonna kill her.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
No, no, no, it'll all be fine, and it'll all
be fine.

Speaker 5 (20:11):
The tickets on sale, you can go, so listen, we're doing.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
We extended the ten dollars tickets until Thursday because calling
today saying I didn't get a chance to buy because
they only had three months.

Speaker 5 (20:22):
So it's extended to Thursday. No kidding, by I know.

Speaker 3 (20:27):
We had like about people called by noon saying I
can't I get tickets.

Speaker 5 (20:31):
Okay, so you have until Thursday.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 3 (20:34):
Then you got to pay the full price on Saturday.

Speaker 5 (20:36):
Yeah, and the full price is what.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
Okay, how much? I mean anyway, I'm just saying like
it's not this is an absolute.

Speaker 5 (20:46):
Steals two biggest drawing bands in the city, right, yes,
right and Zack Brian. I. I want to go see it.
I have a friend who likes it.

Speaker 6 (20:54):
It's really I saw, well, you guys were at party
in the Park first week.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
Then I went. We brought Orne section for that one.

Speaker 7 (21:01):
I had, Yeah, Jimmy Richmond and oh Me and Forever Man.
It was it was his first gig back off of
his hiatus.

Speaker 4 (21:10):
Yeah, for his thing. But yeah, yeah, no, that that
went over great. I got some great video.

Speaker 2 (21:16):
That's awesome.

Speaker 5 (21:18):
Now when you get out to be TV. Yes, I
want to make sure that you're you should go there
and eat first. I would think like Prime the Pump.
Oh you can't come in.

Speaker 3 (21:28):
The restaurants open all day. Yeah, so you know, if
you want to come in and eat, you can.

Speaker 5 (21:31):
What is it?

Speaker 2 (21:31):
This is what am I eating? This is the I
want to call it.

Speaker 5 (21:35):
It is the steak Bomber. Oh, that's what exactly. The
bread is phenomenal.

Speaker 3 (21:38):
That a new role from Giuseppes. It's it's a rustic bread.
It's amazing.

Speaker 5 (21:43):
It's a funny thing because I said to Matt, Matt
is like to me a risk taker with stuff, like
there's always tweaking and experimenting and tweaking and trying and
doing different things. And that's how you keep it. That's
how you keep it going. Like you go into BTV,
that atmosphere is perfect. Football season's coming up. If you
got fantasy football, rent that room, go to zuh go

(22:03):
to CBT.

Speaker 3 (22:07):
So I'm trying to get him in there bTB CBT.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
I can't get it straight bt B.

Speaker 5 (22:13):
R o C dot com and you can make reservations there.
But that's also where you want to go buy your tickets.

Speaker 3 (22:19):
Correct like on events. Yeah, it's right there. It'll say
general mission extended right now. VIP and VIP tables are
still available. Okay, not many tables, don't you explain the difference.
So the VIP you get inside access, you get bathrooms inside.
So hey, now you get full bar. Oh right, so
you can sit down and eat there if you want.

(22:40):
We're outside this general mission. You get porta potties and
limited beer and wine. There's pretty much like the VIP.

Speaker 6 (22:48):
Yeah, yeah, I just like to say something, is it?

Speaker 5 (22:51):
What is the price?

Speaker 3 (22:53):
Can can we p is twenty five and then a
VIP tables thirty five? So for five dollars more.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
Jesus dude, like, huh, you are so cheap and so
cheap Greece.

Speaker 8 (23:04):
Yeah, right, five dollars more than freaking VIP should have
been sold out three months ago.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
Well we we we've made a bigger error for VP
because it did sell out every year, so we did
make it bigger. And the VIP table is great because
you get a table and everything right in front of
the stage, so you get the best for you and
you can sit there and eat and you have waitresses.
I'm like, all right, sure, your wife already.

Speaker 5 (23:31):
This is this is cool?

Speaker 3 (23:32):
All right, Wow, nice job. It's gonna be a great
time job with that. I mean, I'm excited to get
because it'll be over right now. I'm stressed. You, me
and Pete have been talking about this for months and
then in the last week, I think we've talked more
times than we have in a year.

Speaker 5 (23:46):
Did you get what I gotta just ask a question
of you, because you get so stressed. How does Natalie
handle all this?

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Oh she hates.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
I mean because you seemed like the.

Speaker 5 (24:02):
I mean you do tonight, right, you do here, but
I'm thinking it's gotta be Yeah, you're sweating it.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Well.

Speaker 3 (24:07):
She made you know, she made it perfect. You know
this weekend, it happens to be the weekend she's taking
her daughter back to Kentucky so she doesn't have to
be there Saturday and deal with me. I'm flying out
Sunday morning.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
That's right, that's right, thirty flight. Yeah, guess she's not
going to bed. The boss has taken it might not
be a bad idea. Well, we'll take them all. We
got a little you know what, maybe we should get
into this.

Speaker 5 (24:34):
Annie Charlotte, Annie Charlotte, I've been I saw this and
I thought of you, okay, and I thought it might
be good. And also then Mark is here as well,
and we can kind.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Of touch them.

Speaker 6 (24:43):
The gift for Mark and I forgot it.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
A gift for Mark, you know.

Speaker 10 (24:50):
What it is.

Speaker 2 (24:51):
But she got a three D printer. No, we kept
saying that.

Speaker 5 (24:57):
We were talking about I don't know if you were
here when we said she needed to get a three
D printer for all the dick picture. Yeah, and I
said she was gonna have I was gonna tell her
of an old friend of yours.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
She saw his dick pic. She made it an no
old friend of mine. And it's not Pete, No, no,
it's not mad either. This guy's got that.

Speaker 5 (25:17):

Speaker 4 (27:05):
Your hed.

Speaker 5 (27:08):
Your fuck.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
To claim.

Speaker 5 (27:20):
It's one of the songs you'll hear from the Highway Boys.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Saturday night.

Speaker 8 (27:24):
You know what, Bill, if I tell you that you're
gonna fail, it's something that means you're gonna do great.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
I told Pete that he was going to fail to
Zach Brod, who is going to go see that? This
is before they became big. I mean, this is right.

Speaker 5 (27:41):
No, but this is why I'm thinking, like Pete's got
a vision. You guys like that's honestly got it. You
bought the Zach bryan who knew Zach Bryant. He seemed
to come out of nowhere.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
For me.

Speaker 5 (27:50):
I don't know about you, Matt.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
You were more.

Speaker 3 (27:52):
Constantly I saw him on TikTok a few years ago.
That's my and you knew And is that.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
Where you first saw him to Ye, No, I saw
him on TikTok and you knew he was gonna be
I just really liked his writing.

Speaker 7 (28:02):
He really writes with it's the words. Really, he knows
four chords and owns a k pole. I mean there's
not the writing of the music is not in all deep.
But the lyrics, man, the lyrics he comes up with and.

Speaker 5 (28:15):
How he can I'm more of a lyric person myself
with music. But that's you know, guys.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Like beautiful pictures. You can laughing at me, but I do.

Speaker 5 (28:24):
I like John High because of that. Some of the
Dylan stuff was great lyrically right.

Speaker 4 (28:29):
Very much like Dylan.

Speaker 7 (28:30):
Yeah, because Dylan only knew three chords too, Like like
he just builds beautiful pictures with words. Yeah, and then
what's three or four chords behind him?

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (28:41):
I know you've done this in the past, this show,
this type of show. You think this one will be Like,
I have a feeling this could be the best one
you've ever had.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
It should be.

Speaker 5 (28:49):
Yeah, yeah, no, I really believe that. I mean the Highway,
but you guys. If I just know Zach Bryan through
other people that have been talking, and I'm amazed to
have that guy is without I'm just not as familiar.
I mean three nights to me, I remember the Stones,
you know, they were at the Old Uh first it

(29:10):
was Shaye, but then it was then they went to
what now is met Life, And I don't think dated
three here.

Speaker 4 (29:17):
I don't think the fact that he sold out all.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
That's what I'm saying. That's like huge, man, we paid.

Speaker 7 (29:24):
We were in the nosebleeds and we were sixteen dollars
for our four tickets, like like it was we took uh.

Speaker 5 (29:30):
I think they need to make bail the price of
a front row ticket to like Zach Bryant. That's how
it should be from now on. Or Taylor Swift, you
know what I mean, one of those.

Speaker 3 (29:38):
You got nothing, but the mager gets the hold of
you about doing that prank on him? Why didn't he
get you tickets for free?

Speaker 2 (29:43):
I don't ask for stuff sometimes sometimes you just gotta Yeah,
I would do it.

Speaker 5 (29:48):
I wouldn't ask, well, what if you would he have
gotten you tickets had you done the prank?

Speaker 4 (29:53):
I didn't ask about that either. Well I said, I
already got tickets for Sunday.

Speaker 5 (29:56):
I would have been kind of oh, so you you
open it up. I see what you did.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
And so he could have went, oh, well, how are
your seats I have? Yeah, yeah, say.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
Yeah yeah yeah, Like but I would I would never
these guys. It's how they make their money.

Speaker 7 (30:08):
And and you know what all I know about folks
that that make their money a certain way is don't
ask them to do it for free.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
Yeah I agree with that.

Speaker 4 (30:17):
Yeah. So like you know, I'm fine with and we're
we had a great night. We took. It's our daughter Olivia.

Speaker 7 (30:23):
It's her favorite band, and that was what she wanted
for graduation and it was a good reason for us
to go to.

Speaker 5 (30:29):
Does she ever see you play? Oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah,
she'll be the dad's cool still yeah.

Speaker 4 (30:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
Music.

Speaker 5 (30:40):
You know it's to a point, right, it's like a
it's like.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
A seesaw there.

Speaker 7 (30:43):
I guess no of all of the kids, and we
have six total of all the Olivia has always loved
to see me performed since she was Since she was seven,
she has you know, wanted to be at the shows
and and love to see it and gets all dressed
up and all, you know, the whole thing. Yeah, she's
dorble and now she just graduate high school and now

(31:03):
she's grown up and she can go do it anytime
she wants.

Speaker 5 (31:06):
Yeah, Like, well, I mean, what if you get a
call someday they need a band for a frat party.

Speaker 2 (31:12):
Dad, you got the right music?

Speaker 5 (31:15):
Would you go?

Speaker 2 (31:16):
Could you do it? I see now I'd be a
little nervous that I wouldn't want to.

Speaker 3 (31:19):
See like I just came a bottle jacually fine, I
don't remember it.

Speaker 7 (31:24):
Anyways, we've gotten calls for frat parties, I got it,
and like in Albany and blah blah, yeah Syracuse actually
just recently su called. But the production always kills the
costs on that because we have a production rider that
requires certain things because spoiled no.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
No, But well, you want it to sound good. Yeah,
you made a deal with the you made a deal
with the original artist.

Speaker 5 (31:48):
It was never gonna suck.

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (31:49):
Well, and I don't want to stand on the floor
with no lights and you know like that sort of
you know, it's I don't want pictures of that floating around, Like.

Speaker 6 (31:59):
You don't want ricked On doing here or something.

Speaker 7 (32:01):
I love rick the lawyer too, Rick or Lawyer is
a good man, but like, yeah, I need a bit
more production.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
We just sit here and we just ripped on everybody.

Speaker 5 (32:09):
I got the show.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
Well, you just and you started it tonight.

Speaker 5 (32:13):
I will say that I was and it was very impressed,
like you were getting all squirmy over there and you
couldn't wait. It was bubbling atty.

Speaker 8 (32:20):
I know, I just wanted to forget, you know, I
didn't want to forget what I was going to say.
See that happens when you get older.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
You did a great job, you got in your work.
I looked at Mark like, oh man, he knew it
was coming. Get your tickets and get the VIP. Yeah,
twenty five fucking VI five dollars more.

Speaker 7 (32:45):
You know.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
The VP also is the only place you can go
on the patio. So you got the outside bar there,
you got the patio. So yeah, it's all VIP.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Right.

Speaker 6 (32:51):
So so where how big do you like fence off?

Speaker 3 (32:56):
It'll be funse So it it goes about halfway through
the parking lot.

Speaker 4 (32:59):
Okay, yeah, it's gonna be a big.

Speaker 3 (33:01):
It's a little smaller this year because I was.

Speaker 6 (33:04):
Going to say, all the good will people are gonna
be like, what the.

Speaker 3 (33:07):
They close it six? So yeah, pig it is okay,
but I mean works back in twenty five hundred three
thousand people here, Yeah, get the VIP way I room,
it's crowded.

Speaker 5 (33:16):
And I mean when where are you getting VIP for
twenty five dollars? Right, I'm sorry, she's thirty five for
a table. We're not getting that. Yeah, and when when
have you gone out?

Speaker 2 (33:26):
And you not spent.

Speaker 10 (33:29):
Right?

Speaker 2 (33:29):
Right?

Speaker 5 (33:30):
Fifty one hundred just to wash and.

Speaker 7 (33:31):
I just paid sixteen hundred dollars for the Nosebleeds s's
for the right for.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
The concerts, Like, I think that's dirt cheap?

Speaker 2 (33:39):
Yeah it is, Yeah it is.

Speaker 3 (33:41):
You're right in the general mission at twenty bucks is cheap.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Yes, yeah. See.

Speaker 8 (33:45):
The problem in this freaking town musically is we've been
paying five dollars dollars cover since nineteen fucking seventy seven, right,
ten dollars is the new norm.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
Dollars people still bitch about.

Speaker 5 (33:59):
It's not wrong, He's not wrong. I know he's not.

Speaker 8 (34:01):
Guy laugh about like you know I was charging I
think twenty dollars for a bunch of bands.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
Yeah, no, I'm talking about Bob Whiskey River.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
Yeah, he had Bob Bob Sea.

Speaker 2 (34:12):
He was charging twenty dollars and people were bitching about it.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
At that place was packed.

Speaker 8 (34:17):
I'm like, I'll pay twenty dollars. I bet twenty dollars
to come and see you. The only person that wasn't
worth the money?

Speaker 5 (34:22):
Oh oh boy?

Speaker 2 (34:23):
Okay, wait wait can we guess no, the mortgage. Oh
you don't know he was? No, it was the one
it was uh, I can't think of his name.

Speaker 5 (34:32):
Now.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
The guy we had, the guy, the cowboy guy that
says he's from Nashville.

Speaker 4 (34:36):
Naked oh Jae yeah, Nashville recording artist.

Speaker 7 (34:41):
Yes, yes, god he got me one time and I
actually let him on my stage because I actually thought
he was an actual Nashville.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
How would you not know he has an album?

Speaker 10 (34:51):
You know?

Speaker 4 (34:51):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (34:51):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (34:52):
Wait he talking about him? Or are you talking about
the other The new guy we're talking about, the guy
that became the Yobetta Bellies. Yeah. I can't remember his name.
His manager reached out to me like a oh it
was horrible.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (35:04):
What happened was no, the manager comes up to me
and I go and I and they're not knowing, So
I said, why don't you go for ten ten dollars. Well, no,
ZBTV charge is fifteen. Why you know we charged and
I'm going, I said, nobody's going to pay fifteen zb
TV different.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
I go and I try to use this. And as
I said, Pete's from the air.

Speaker 8 (35:26):
Pete grew up in the area, so he's going to
get people from school and stuff like that.

Speaker 5 (35:30):
Everyone Also the band was good.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
Yeah, I didn't want to see it. I didn't want
to see it. Or your guys sucks. No, but if
nobody knows you and nobody came right when we went
negative right terrible.

Speaker 5 (35:45):
Okay, So in those situations, Matt, what's going on inside
your head?

Speaker 2 (35:49):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (35:49):
Ships like really going to cover these costs?

Speaker 2 (35:52):
How am I going to cover these costs?

Speaker 5 (35:53):
And no, we mean this is this is where do yeah,
but this is where if you, I know, many guys
always went. I love to own a bar. I loved
doing a sports bar. I love to own any kind
of bar entertainment for sale. You know what I'm saying,
Like it's like I go, boy, talk to someone who's
done it and done it successfully for a while, and

(36:14):
you'll see that it is not an easy ride.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
It's not fun at all.

Speaker 3 (36:17):
Talk about taking risks. The first time I met with
Pete from when we were bathte Billies, he came in
and gave me the price and I almost ship myself.
But then I had to go back and tell my
partner at the time how much, and he's like, no way.
I was like, I'm already did it. I've already booked him.
And it was like, first when we put almost eight
hundred people in the place.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
I had to walk in the back door.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
That's amazing, Right, there's a fifteen people, so what it
was phenomenal?

Speaker 5 (36:46):
Yeah, that's great. So your partner must have been thrilled.
Everything was fine then yeah, yeah, right, but up until
that moment, you're walking on eggshells. Oh yeah yeah.

Speaker 6 (36:55):
Also, ZBTV has been around enough that like, my friends
and I have traveled not like far, but like we're like, oh,
they're playing out to me being in website, they're playing
out in Greece tonight, let's go, because you know.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
You're you're the odd east side of thought, like they won't, won't.
Him and Staisy come to be TV because they're friends
and me and she comes because she loves the branch.

Speaker 6 (37:22):
Well, you know what it's like to be a west too.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
You know what it's like to be a west side
of the west side of the most.

Speaker 4 (37:27):
Ever across the bridge. When I was on the west side, you.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
Never say I do I go to the east side
all the time?

Speaker 5 (37:32):
Imagine does pop around and I seem, yeah, yeah, Laura,
last night was at the circus.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
I didn't even know.

Speaker 6 (37:39):
The circus was so fucking weird. Yeah, boat as fuck?

Speaker 2 (37:44):
Where right here?

Speaker 10 (37:46):
What?

Speaker 5 (37:46):
Right here?

Speaker 2 (37:47):
They had like this circus Smirkish, which isn't the name
of it, but there they did.

Speaker 6 (37:51):
Yeah, yeah, flotsome lots of floating circuits.

Speaker 5 (37:55):
Yeah, the flotsome floating circus. So it was her class. No,
but it's like trapp these artists and stuff.

Speaker 6 (38:01):
It was like on a boat.

Speaker 5 (38:03):
How big was this boat?

Speaker 6 (38:04):
It was the size of the studio and people. What
was the best part is watching these people fight, not
the performers. But there were so many people viewing that
you couldn't see. So there were like old people yelling
at other old people, and I like, I can't see
your chairs in my way. Joe and I are just

(38:26):
cracking up. We're like, this is so weird. But it
it looked like this Carney style traveling was so weird.
People were dressed up. There was like a banjo like
three piece band dressed in these like fish and you
all talk.

Speaker 5 (38:44):
About the West Side.

Speaker 2 (38:47):
They're kind of quaint and fun.

Speaker 5 (38:49):
It's the two hundred year of the canal. I'm surprised
they don't have anything out well, Spenceport doesn't. Yeah, spencer Port,
I'm surprised doesn't because.

Speaker 3 (38:57):
They got they don't do a traveling, just.

Speaker 6 (38:59):
Flowing down, flown, floating down the Erie Canal. So they
like when they announced it last night, they said that
they picked like a different waterway every every summer and
do this and so I posted a video of it
last night.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
We could not.

Speaker 6 (39:14):
Believe how many people were there. And I had other
people be like that was so fucking strange, Like what
did I just witness? And I sort of was feeling
the same.

Speaker 5 (39:23):
Way if one of them went flying off.

Speaker 6 (39:25):
And I was twisting by her hair and that was
sort of cool, But the rest of it was I
literally thought I was tripping on acid. And I had
had one people watching. Yeah, but it was so many
people that the old people didn't know what the hell to.

Speaker 5 (39:47):
Where was it right out here?

Speaker 6 (39:49):
It was great over it was on the other side,
on the.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
Other side of the bridge.

Speaker 6 (39:53):
Yeah, down tour.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
I was working.

Speaker 5 (39:57):
I was at home working.

Speaker 4 (39:58):
He was smarter than that.

Speaker 5 (39:59):
Well, And to be honest with you, Matt knows, I
was in a battle royal at home with my kids.

Speaker 8 (40:05):
We're going toe to toe on some stuff. So thrin
him again. Tell him I'm gonna be a one one
to one.

Speaker 2 (40:11):
He would fucking love it.

Speaker 5 (40:13):
You.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
No, he didn't like it when I said it.

Speaker 5 (40:15):
Go.

Speaker 2 (40:15):
If you don't straight up, you're dead. I'm gonna come
out here. I'm gonna you come here one on one.
He would like it.

Speaker 3 (40:21):
Kicks his ass.

Speaker 5 (40:23):
I thought last night I was afraid that someone's gonna happen.
So I just finally said, I gotta say seated.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
I like kept my ass glutes to the seat because
I thought this could get bad.

Speaker 5 (40:33):
And most of the time with anybody, I think when
things get emotional, you use big words, you try to
hurt right with words. And I think that what I
was starting to see. And it's taken me. I'll be
fifty four in about a week. It's taken me this long.
And I feel a little bit bad for my older
boys because they're in the mid twenties. He's fifteen that

(40:53):
I can kind of go, all right, I know that
all this that I'm seeing come out is coming from
someone where else, but it's taken me a fucking million
years to Yeah, it sucks. I don't want to hear it,
so you know. And then my thing is And then
I was told that I that I made all the boys.
I told him they were soft and they were this,
and they go, I don't remember.

Speaker 2 (41:13):
Using the word you.

Speaker 6 (41:14):
Did you happy one year anniversary of having him back?

Speaker 2 (41:18):
Yes, thank you, it's been awesome. So that's where I was.

Speaker 5 (41:21):
I was not at the fucking circus. Might have been
better at where I was. I thought I couldn't tell
if it was good, and I didn't even know.

Speaker 2 (41:28):
It was coming.

Speaker 6 (41:29):
It was just so strange. I didn't know about it either.
Joe found it and he was like, hey, let's go
to this. I had people over at the pool yesterday
and then they ended up coming too, and we're all like,
this is so weird. So it's a cool idea, but
it was just like weird ass fucking carneys.

Speaker 5 (41:47):
Like it's now there's an idea, Pete traveling highway down
on the canal, just setting up.

Speaker 6 (41:55):
Now on the highway.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
Maybe the waterway boys.

Speaker 4 (42:00):
You just play stage on the top of the well.

Speaker 3 (42:03):
Remember on Thursday nights they used to do that. Was
it the Colonial bell that's in Charlotte, I used to
do dinner or not a dinner A band.

Speaker 2 (42:11):
I don't think. I don't think it's sitting there abandoned.

Speaker 3 (42:13):
No, you're thinking of the other one.

Speaker 5 (42:16):
Yes, No, not the fast Fair, the one that we
did Fisher Dinner.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
It's all.

Speaker 5 (42:25):
You got to see it. It's all overgrown.

Speaker 2 (42:27):
It looks like it's terrible.

Speaker 3 (42:28):
The guy from Rochester, I think the guy spirit Roster. Yes,
s an s limo.

Speaker 4 (42:32):
I think telling you right now the bell, the Colonial
bell is still going.

Speaker 3 (42:37):
No, it's not.

Speaker 2 (42:38):
It's out of the water.

Speaker 3 (42:39):
I actually rented a bowstop from him two years ago
and he was going to try and revamp it, and
I said, I want to do the food and all that.
I'll put it together.

Speaker 2 (42:47):
I'll do it.

Speaker 3 (42:47):
And he was all for it and then bailed. No, no, no, no, no, Arlotte.

Speaker 5 (42:53):
It's just one colonial bell too. Though I could be
wrong on the name.

Speaker 2 (42:56):
I don't know. I think it is Colonial bell, but
they have one.

Speaker 5 (43:00):
They have. There's something similar out there. So what do
they They don't do it anymore with bands, so they
used to.

Speaker 3 (43:05):
I think it was every Thursday from June to September.
They would do it and you would just you go
out on the Lake Ontario, but the band would play.
They'd have free pizza, drinks. It was great time. I
did it like six seven times one summer.

Speaker 10 (43:17):
It was.

Speaker 3 (43:18):
It was so much fun.

Speaker 5 (43:18):
You know, Matt's never going to retire. He buys that, literally, I.

Speaker 11 (43:26):
Think I was.

Speaker 6 (43:27):
We were in the Cape and like, I'm falling asleep,
and he goes, that's opening another restaurant.

Speaker 4 (43:31):
I was like, what fuck, I'd like to interest that
in a fast fairy.

Speaker 3 (43:38):
I gotta talk to Greg counters Matt doesn't have any money.

Speaker 2 (43:43):
Oh like, I say nothing. Uh, well, you know what,
let's take a short break.

Speaker 5 (43:50):
And I got to tell you about this, Andy Charlotte,
only because I have never heard of this, and I thought,
for sure, with you here and with Mark here, this
may be.

Speaker 2 (43:58):
The perfect subject. I'm not. I hope we don't embarrass Pete,
that's all.

Speaker 5 (44:01):
And I know, all right, I know, I know we
won't embarrass.

Speaker 2 (44:05):
He's a mother of Sorrow's guy. You can't embarrass us, Okay,
all right, we'll get to all that right after this.

Speaker 5 (44:10):

Speaker 4 (48:44):
Her she was a friend Of John.

Speaker 7 (48:47):
Bellicks, HONESTLY i just kind, of uh, Like john was, like,
hey like we should figure out how to play these
two songs that they have a girl. Part INITIALLY i
Wanted stacy to try to figure it, out and she
voice lessons for a while and then she had stood
up in front of people and it didn't work. Out,
Uh but, Yeah, emily she's, younger she's somewhere twenty six

(49:09):
or something like. That but it'll be nice to give
her kind of like a. Push she doesn't have a
big name for herself in the, city AND i, LIKE
i like giving people that don't have a good name
for a big name.

Speaker 4 (49:19):
For, themselves you, know a. Push that's kind of, well
TV's kind of always mortgage didn't.

Speaker 2 (49:24):
Work So.

Speaker 3 (49:28):
I'll tell you what he did, though IS i was good. Friends,
WELL i Met Ken ryber Through, mark BUT i became
very good friends With, ken and they struggled to get a. Following,
yeah so he SAID i would do anything to get
in front of EB. Tv AND i called p right
with him right there AND i, said will you do?
This he, goes, absolutely they can open for us at
your next. Show and they took off after. That, wow
they became a.

Speaker 2 (49:48):
HUGE i love. That you, know. Attitude there's no ego With.
Pete there's never any he's never.

Speaker 5 (49:55):
Talking ABOUT i see, nothing, buddy yougo so nothing but
attitude and. Ego the guy's Thanking god where he is in.
Life he's, like he's really an. ASSHOLE i really blessed. Life,
NO i, understand that's What i'm, Saying, like very humble
over he believes in love. More, yeah BUT i, think,
UH i think that's. GREAT i, MEAN i JUST i

(50:15):
always liked when there were comics like that as. Well
that would help you know young people along the, way
because it's not easy and then and no matter what
level you're, at when, anything you're gonna run into people
who feel like you were taking their. Spot AND i
like to think there's enough for.

Speaker 4 (50:31):
Everybody, yeah, absolutely there is enough.

Speaker 3 (50:34):
Sometimes there is in, General, like, yeah the same thing
in the restaurant. Business no reason to down talk anybody
else or not help somebody. Out there's plenty of out,
there you. Know the local restaurant should be helping each.
Other same thing with the.

Speaker 2 (50:43):
Bands, yeah and and and it starts to, see you
know WHERE i first kind of saw.

Speaker 5 (50:48):
That AND i, know, look you worked in. HOSPITALITY i
maybe you've seen it for a. While BUT i noticed
that with the beer, community like when the some of
the stuff was popping, up Like genesee was helping small brewers,
ease like the micro brew guy there was helping small
breweries do their. Stuff And i'm, like that's a little,
different because fucking. Radio you wanted to step on THE
i MEAN i REMEMBER i went out to a remember

(51:10):
the radio, station the. Nerve, yeah, okay so we had
a spotlight that SAID cmf AND i went out there
AND i Shined they were doing some record release party
AND i shined it on the, thing and all their
management came out and they're screaming at us and wearing
the rock And roll, Mobile homer rock And. Roll and
THEN i got to drive that fucking thing AND i
gotta get back To henrietta And Eric, anderson who was

(51:31):
the program. DIRECTOR e man is chasing me down the fucking, highway.

Speaker 2 (51:35):
Swerving at the mobile.

Speaker 5 (51:37):
Home yeah he was crazy, Crazy BUT i mean that
that was the kind of thing instead of hey, man
they're doing a record.

Speaker 2 (51:45):
Thing it's not music we. Play check it, out maybe
you like.

Speaker 3 (51:47):
It, yeah that's a little.

Speaker 2 (51:49):
Different, well, yes that's What i'm saying it.

Speaker 5 (51:51):
Now LIKE i would never work like you KNOW wb and.

Speaker 3 (51:57):
No, NO i mean thirty years. Aging I'm i'm aging
myself a little. Bit you would go to the, bar
same bar every weekend and you see whoever band was.
Playing it didn't. Matter now people follow the same, bands,
yeah and they do not open and seeing new bands
a lot of.

Speaker 2 (52:10):
Times, yeah that is that's.

Speaker 5 (52:12):
INTERESTING i say it's something new like groupies almost in a. Way.

Speaker 4 (52:17):
YEAH i see a lot of the same people at other.
Ships it's a.

Speaker 5 (52:19):
Community so well that's the other thing is NOW i
THINK i wonder if that's a social media. Thing like
everybody's got their, community, RIGHT i, Like i'm part of
this and this these are my.

Speaker 4 (52:29):
PEOPLE i think that's part of.

Speaker 7 (52:31):
It BUT i think that if you, start if you
start going to see the same band over and over,
again you meet the people that are going to sa
the same same band over and over, again and it builds.
Friendships LIKE i have a ton of friends from the,
band and there are people THAT i Know i'll see
every show AND i know them by name and and
that sort of, thing and, uh and there's hundreds of.

Speaker 2 (52:52):
Them it's so.

Speaker 5 (52:52):
FUNNY I i flipped on The Jimmy buffett station On
serious the other day and it's a woman, saying you,
KNOW i want to Thank jimmy for all the. Years
obviously he's been dead for over a year now or.
Yeah And i've met so many people because we would
all go to the same.

Speaker 2 (53:09):
Shows The parrot heeads AND i and.

Speaker 5 (53:11):
That so exactly What matt's saying here makes, sense. Right
people love that kind of, music they know the. Vibe
it's gonna be a good. Time they've never had a shitty,
time so they're gonna keep.

Speaker 6 (53:19):
Going i'm also gonna say the venue makes a big,
difference because there's some bands THAT i love that at one,
PLACE i love going to see, them BUT i won't
go and see them at another place because it's too.
Crowded you, know like they just don't. Perform well, There
i'm trying to not say anything.

Speaker 7 (53:41):
WHEN i see people on like community, pages Say i'm
The henrietta page AND i see somebody, Post, Hey i'm
having trouble meeting. Friends how do you meet friends in this?
Town i'm just, LIKE i tell, Them, hey find music
that you like and keep going to that music and
you'll make. Friends that's HOW i. Initial we made, friends

(54:01):
like with with the music community THAT i. LIKE i
was a big fan of the band Called The, niche
And i'd go See The niche all the, time and you,
know after like ten times, ago AND i knew everybody
in the room and the same thing.

Speaker 2 (54:12):
HAPPENED a really good. Idea, YEAH i never thought of.

Speaker 4 (54:14):
That, yeah it's just finding your, people, right you know
where how do you FIND.
