In this episode of Billified: The Bill Moran Podcast, things get personal—and hilarious—when Laura and Mark join Bill in studio for a wild ride of awkward moments, raw honesty, and plenty of laughs. Why is this trio so entertaining? Well, for starters, Mark found out he wasn’t invited to Laura’s 40th birthday party… and Bill has the audio to prove it! Was it an honest oversight or a subtle snub? Emotions run high as Bill reads Mark a heartfelt “re-invitation” letter and we find out if Mark is ready to forgive—or hold a grudge.

From birthday drama to deep conversations, Bill and Mark reflect on lessons learned in their 50s, regrets, and revelations from their time in radio, hospitality, and beyond. Plus, Laura reveals her curiosity about the swingers lifestyle (no judgment!), her thoughts on OnlyFans, and whether a surprise encounter at school drop-off would be her worst nightmare.

We also dive into the “Loyalty Economy”—is subscribing to OnlyFans emotional cheating?—and explore how men and women approach emotional support in relationships. Bill brings up Derek Carr’s NFL retirement and opens a deeper discussion on why men often seek emotional anchors in their partners after life-changing decisions.
And don’t miss:
  • Laura’s “never again” moment with relationships
  • Mark’s new obsession with Rubik’s Cubes—is it hoarding?
  • Pro tips from Laura’s organizing business, Polished Home Organizing
  • And finally… does Mark accept the invite to the big 4-0 bash?

It’s real, it’s raw, it’s ridiculously fun. Laugh along  and maybe even learn something about yourself.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, hello friends. Coming up. In this episode, Laura and
Mark come face to face for the first time since
that awkward fortieth birthday sort of snub. I'll call it thing.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Insit each other three weeks three weeks ago plus.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
We dig into Mark's past to see what he's learned,
if anything. Was there a lesson that radio taught you? Yeah,
never going radio, and Laura gets kind of deep.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
I was like on the ground, crumbled in tears, and
then I built myself back up to where I was
like so content, happy by myself, like feeling successful, feeling
like I love where my life is right now. And
so I just don't think I could ever go back
down that far, you know what I mean. So I
would just never allow myself to get to that point.

(01:34):
hello and welcome. I'm so excited. I wanted like we
had an incident earlier last week, and then I got
an incident. An incident.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
It was just in a little incident.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
And Laura's here and Marcus here. Yeah, I'm very excited
about this because you know, one of the big things
coming up is Laura's extravaganza fortieth birthday party.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Oh there's a party going out.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
I didn't know about it. Well, I mean apparently you didn't.
And I would like to, uh, you know, I would
like to away play for Laura.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
I love that park right away and knows where this
is going.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
I would like to play for Laura the part where
Mark realized he was not invited to your fortieth birthday
extravaganza and here we go. This is uh, this is
the segment.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Twins find a way to play a song?

Speaker 1 (02:32):
So why are you taking? My name is Mark? I
think we get him on.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
I think they should come on, yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
It might be at Laura's party. Oh yeah, what about
that's what? Wait?

Speaker 3 (02:46):
What what a bunch of uh people have on this
show stirring the pot?

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Oh my god, Okay, now let it go.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I was literally texting with your buddy Matt right before this.

Speaker 4 (03:00):
I'm like, this whole group is all pot stars. We
love to push each other.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Do you know I want to go down different day? Why?
But see right here, this is a nice I have nothing.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Here's the thing when someone made a remark to me
that Laura is talking about all this cool stuff and
you want to talk about and you want to talk
about a conspiracy theory about Helen Keller, who someone to work?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Okay, all right.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
So what am I supposed to do?

Speaker 1 (03:31):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (03:33):
But everyone here, Laura, Manton and Kevin together with the
me on And it wasn't meant to be an insult, wasn't.
I didn't I disliked anybody, you know, it wasn't met
LinkedIn but everybody you were but.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Hurt not really, Let's keep it rolling, okay, Laura, Laura Watts,
Laura has thoughts. Yeah, we heard about that little world discussion.
It's gonna be one by is a and one breakfast
burrito for everybody, and it'll feed everybody. Well, you might

(04:08):
have to get Joe his own. Yeah, yeah, joking, jo
Joe's a big he's a big guy. Now we don't
mean that insultingly.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Oh you know that man can just like.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
But I remember when Laura found out she had a
medical problem. But she's like, I'm putting on weight and
she goes and I always I think it's Joe. He
had not jos.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
He comes home and takes me at nine o'clock. On
his drive home, is like, I'm gonna stop at Tackle Bell.
I'm gonna stop and get a chicken sandwich. Do you
want something? And I'm like no, But then he comes
over and he's sitting on the couch with it, and
then I'm like, give me a bite.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
I need some stuff. That is gonna be a fun party.
I hope you're I hope you're there. That wasn't invited
just to fuck you work? Where Where was I invited?
You should gun in text? I got invite on Facebook?
A Facebook invite. You don't even know if you got to.
We're going from Laura's to Greg's party and iron smoke.

(05:07):
Greg I might have to just say what day is
that one?

Speaker 3 (05:11):
I'm going as you're going where I'm going to Gregg's party?

Speaker 1 (05:15):
No?

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Not hang on, So first I gotta say Facebook. I
it's funny because a lot of my friends don't even
use Facebook anymore. But I was like, how do you
send a party invite anymore? Because some people are on
the internet. I can't text like fifty people. I don't
want to and I don't want to text.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
What well if you did, like okay, because I'm going
are we at an age where you think like an
evite is I don't know, too casual, but an engraved
mailed out invitation is too culty? You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
Well, evites.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
I've had friends who use them. I use them a
lot for my kid's birthday parties.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
But I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
I don't have everyone's email addresses. I haven't used them
like that. But I was joking at my gym. I
was like, I wish I did like print out flyers.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Or something flyers Like it's a rager. I just saw
old school when they did the flyers everywhere.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
Like friends, Yeah, did send invitations to via Facebook? They're like,
it's not even showing up for me. I don't know,
so I like asked some people. I'm like, have you
gotten it? And they're like nope. Even my one niece
who's twenty three. You think she'd be on social media.
She's like, I haven't gone on my Facebook in like
a year.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Okay, here is Uh that was a good butt.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
It was a really nice ass that just walked by.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
I don't know anything seventeenth So what would it be
under They don't know the party. You don't even look
at your ship, so don't worry.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
I did look at my ship.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Well maybe they didn't get an invite.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
I didn't get an invite it that'd be great.

Speaker 1 (06:54):
Now now here comes some some shit story. Man. You
could go there and probably see you picks galore, do
not you can see you in one of those bonus rooms,
and will we all watch that? Not be watch for free?
I'll put up open some stadium seating in there. Oh yeah,
actually I might let you watch for free. She got

(07:15):
a freaky he never know, Laura might, but that's true.
Yeah you you all right? Wait, now here comes the
ship stirring part. This this is what I thought. I'm
sure you got invited. I didn't. Okay, but you're you're welcome.
What well, No, she did say, hang on a second,
Hang on a second. She said she was only inviting
people that made her happy. Such a dick. Okay, Oh,

(07:42):
I forgot about you, sir.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
In the fire, I was thinking about Cavin and Madge.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Come on, what a deck. Who's the one who could
always get it? What a deck? She did wrong? Yes, man,
I was surprised. But Matt, that's true. That's true. So
apparently you know. Of course, I'm sure you got invited,
and there's no way you didn't. I just sent her
a text because she likes you and I work that
worked on. I'm sure you do. I know seven days. Wait,

(08:13):
you get a plus one so you could bring Marianne.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
You ended it too early, yeah, because then then Kevin
texted me and it was like, hey, what's Holman invited?
And I wrote, no, there's gonna be too many personal
big personality.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Which Matt, Matt love him dearly, stirring the pot because
I told him that be TB. I said, you guys, yeah, lord,
you guys, I'll go on another night. Seriously, I go
too many personalities And it was a compliment.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
It wasn't an insult.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
It wasn't like, oh my god, fucking bitch, I hate her.
I'm like, no, people would rather listen to her. When
my friends are telling me that they'd rather listen to
I mean, I really kind of think we should probably
go put me in another direction.

Speaker 1 (09:04):
All right, all right, all right? But on a scale
on a scale of one to full carry it prom
How hurt were are you that you wouldn't included.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
I wasn't you feel doubt? I did until the next day,
and I didn't give a phoe.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
I did, though, take some time to write an invitation
to Laura's party to you, Mark, if you'd like to,
If you'd like me to read it to you, I'd
be happy to do that and Laura can hear it
as well, if that's all right. Yeah, Dearest Mark, it
has come to our attention, tragically late and with deep

(09:39):
emotional cost, that you were not formally invited to Laura's
fortieth birthday extravaganza. Please accept this hand delivered podcasting knowledge,
spiritually binding invitation as proof that you were always in
our hearts but not on the original guest list story.

(09:59):
My is this grievous oversight is in no way a
reflection of your value as a friend, podcast contributor, or
occasional bringer of dirty stories. It's simply a result of
Laura turning forty in her memory becoming less sharp and
more Google calendar dependent. And I saw her Google calendar.

(10:21):
It's color coded. It's color coded. We are thrilled, nay honored,
to now formally invite you to Laura's fortieth birthday, people
who make her happy and Mark Saturday, May seventeenth, four
o'clock unless you're mad, show up at five. Dress code forgiveness,

(10:46):
casual vibe, joyful chaos with hints of champagne and low
stakes emotional damage, and mark as a VIP very ignored
person your attendance. Your attendance includes one awkward hug from Laura,
unlimited shade, and the last slice of birthday cake if
when no one's watching RSVP, by saying something passive aggressive

(11:08):
on the podcast, or just showing up and pretending like
it never happened, with love, laughter, and a mild amount
of guilt. The Birthday Committee, which is just Laura of fun.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
It sounds like a three all three of me on Monday.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Oh what do you eat? All three on Monday.

Speaker 2 (11:21):

a co owner of pub for a while in the
DJ booth, I say, DJ both, but in the radio
all the things you've done, like everything you've done, and
it's kind of like been watching from a one way mirror.

(14:41):
Sometimes I gotta think, but what is Well? I don't
mean that, but what have you learned in your fifties
now that you couldn't have grasped in your thirties? Do
you think, Well, let's put it this way.

Speaker 3 (14:52):
Let me use let me use a movie and TV too, Okay,
explain the answer. The other day we watched I was
in the training class about how to talk to you know,
students and stuff, and they showed us the clip on
the Breakfast Club where the teacher is saying that Bender
is giving him all the detentions. Yeah, and I'm watching

(15:15):
it and I remember being thirteen years old watching it, going, well,
the guy's a deck, you know. You know. Now i'm
watching it, I'm looking at Bendroom. What a fucking punk? Yeah,
you know, I look at that differently. When I watched
Like Friends, for instance, I hated Ross, thought he was
a dumb, stupid character. Now I watched it back. He's

(15:35):
my favorite character. Why because he's fought me. His lines
were funny, which I didn't understand a twenty something and he's.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Just you know, he was.

Speaker 3 (15:47):
It was just as what he would say and how
he'd say it interesting.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Yeah, so yeah, so you appreciate some things differently.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Because you just, yeah, you change and you see things
in a totally different way.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
Well, see that that's the thing I always I mean.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
I still don't get invited to parties. I didn'tet invite
the parties when you know, it was when I was
eleven and I don't getting invited. Did you get invited
to high school parties? Well, well they're up the street,
so I would just go up and myself, Yeah, I

(16:21):
could see. Well I always think like do we ever
really change? And I go, yeah, I think you're not
the same person who were like two three years ago. No, right,
all the experiences in life that.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
You have and just the way you see and you're right,
you see things maybe differently or for what they are, right,
you know what I mean. Do you have any regrets
when you look back or do you just go I
was all part of the evolution.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
I do have regrets. There's a lot of regrets, but
it's also things that I wanted to do right and
I did it. And it's you know, and uh, I
guess I shouldn't say regrets.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
Yeah, I don't like regrets. I don't wish I handled differently.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Oh that's a great way.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
Like I think regrets. You learn your lessons. It's part
of your growth. It makes to who you are. But
there are definitely things I wish I handled differently.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
There's a lot of things I wish I had handled
differently too.

Speaker 3 (17:13):
I think I see the time warn on the way
too long. Okay, I hated. I hated that job towards
the end, but I knew. I knew that they were
going to get rid of us and give us the severance.
So I hung I hung on for the last five years. Yeah,
because I knew what was common.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
Yeah, but I'm going man mark poor drinks probably once
in a while, you know, just for managed bar Uh
was in radio. Dabbled in radio sales, which is I'll
say dabbled. I don't know. I liked radio sales.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
It was easy for me because I was selling something.
I was selling something that I was on. Yeah, you know,
I mean that was selling for you guys. I wouldn't
sell for Bill because I was mad at him, So it.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
Would be true. You even dodged bullets literally Yeah, yeah
at the liquor store.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
Oh fuck yeah, that fucking place. But but if it
wasn't for that to happen, I wouldn't be where I
am right now, is.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
Right, That's what I'm saying. It's like it's all part
of the evolution, because it's Laura saying I have no regrets.
There are things with my older boys I wish I
had done differently, or I had more patience, or I
paid more something, and you go, but it's all part
of the evolution. You didn't know it then. You weren't
trying to do something that was gonna not fully benefit everybody.

(18:33):
You just didn't know.

Speaker 2 (18:34):
Yeah, And like even the things that you regret or
you know, wish you would have handled differently, you learn
things from them. They teach you stuff about yourself. And
I don't know, like there's nothing that I would fully
take back. It's just yeah, you know, things taught me
what I want in life, you know, and what I'll

(18:56):
never stand for again.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
No. I think, Wow, that's how powerful statement right there.
That's very powerful, like that I'll never stand for again? Wow?
Are there is there one thing? And without prying to
it to say, you can say, are there several things
you wouldn't stand for? Oh? Yeah, yeah, what would be
just one that's a little more innocuous, but something that

(19:18):
people could relate to.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
I would say having a passionate romance, like just having
passion in love with your partner, Like and I sadly
see so many couples that there's no passion there and
whether and they're like, oh, it's because of the age
of the kids, and I you know, I don't know

(19:43):
if you can blame that on everything. Like I'll also
I'll never put myself in a position where I feel
like people are demeaning to me or talking down to me,
don't treat me as an equal or you know, respect
what I have respect in some way, right, Like you know,

(20:05):
I think some people sometimes even with my business, they
look and they're like, holy shit, that's what you do.
Like they don't realize what I do and what I
have built, right exactly.

Speaker 1 (20:17):
Yeah, is there something you won't stand for? I'm trying
to think of, like something I wouldn't stand for, because
I think I just I think there's things I wouldn't
stand for. I just avoid it, Like I no, I
don't even regret.

Speaker 3 (20:30):
But I wish did I went. I wish I was
a teacher. I wish I was much Debt's where I went.
I didn't realize that that's what I liked, that I
liked and wanted to do. Yeah, I don't have kids.
I thought I didn't even like kids.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
But you're you're more than that. Like you're giving emotional
support to kids who need support.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
You know, and these kids all you know, these kids
mean a lot. I mean they do, They mean a lot,
and it's like, you know, I just think, you know,
being in radio was so cool in the nineties, right
because we got to do everything. Yeah you know what
twenty something you old didn't want to do that?

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Was there a lesson that radio tell you? Yeah, never

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Another, guy really how do you but it?

Speaker 2 (29:29):
Would hurt it, Would hurt it would, Be devastating my
kids would be. A mass BUT like, I know i
prove TO myself i can do it on, my OWN
and I know i would, Be okay i'd, be, like
okay if you're, not happy you're.

Speaker 4 (29:44):
Not happy do you think.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
If you talk about that sort of stuff that you're
either soothing the fear or it's kind of? Out there,
LIKE eh i just think somebody doesn't really see this going.
LONG term i.

Speaker 4 (29:59):
Don't, know, no oh.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
NOT that.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
I JUST think i have a have a Barrier that
i'm never going to fully allow someone else. In, again,
really yeah as MUCH as i love him, and everything
as HAPPY as, i AM like i went THROUGH what
i think was still like.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
The, worst yeah but that's not a good way to. Live, either, No, right.

Speaker 4 (30:27):
No because i'm.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
VERY open i, love, him LIKE but i Don't think
i'm ever going to be able or be as HURT as. I,
WAS oh i see what.

Speaker 1 (30:35):
You're, saying yeah because going to break.

Speaker 4 (30:38):
Me down as much as.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
That day what? Is that is that just, your resilience
your something you learned from that relationship that makes you's
a stronger person or is it like there's a section
of you that's just like you're not getting.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
IN here i was like on, the ground crumbled, in
TEARS and i built myself back up TO where i
was like, so content happy, by myself like, feeling successful
FEELING like i love where my life is.

Speaker 4 (31:07):
Right now AND.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
So i just DON'T think i could ever go back down,
that far you KNOW what. I MEAN so i would
just never allow myself.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
To get to. That? Point? Gotcha interesting interesting look? That,
Mark Right derek carr is retiring thirty four. Years OLD
he i think he was going to miss the. Entire
season he had a rotator cuff entry and they. SOMETHING'S
labor i think he was With the saints, now okay

(31:40):
and he had an eleven year CAREER and i. Don't
know it gives me a couple. OF things i always
wonder like you're always told play through, the pain play,
through it, you know and there are bonuses and, things like,
oh god that is such a. Brutal sport he WAS
like i wouldn't put him as a top, tier quarterback
but he was a. Good quarterback he was a good

(32:01):
like he was. PRETTY good i wouldn't. Say great he
Wasn't A Josh allen, mahomes level but he was like right. Under,
that yeah and uh could HAVE won i guess A.
SUPER bowl i mean. Anything's, possible yeah but, uh yeah
he said that he did this whole thing and it
was a lot of talking to his wife, right that

(32:23):
like that was his person to. Go TO and, i,
go yeah that. Makes SENSE and i think that's why
a lot of guys who get divorced seem to get
in relationships faster than some women who get, divorced to don't. You,
Think YEAH and i think it's that that, it's this
it's not so, much, this this this sex and stuff,
like that because. IT'S this i think that's. The more

(32:45):
and that's, that's intimacy which isn't necessarily. Good either, no
codependent but there is that THING where i feel most
comfortable talking to and when you listen, TO me i
FEEL as i feel loved. OR whatever i don't. Know

(33:06):
what when are you? A, hoarder well.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
If you are collecting items that you're not, really using
so are you using them or?

Speaker 3 (33:15):
Their?

Speaker 1 (33:16):
DECORATION there i, USE some i use some.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Some some some of them aren't out of the are
going to stay in. The box, BUT yeah i bring
them to school.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
With, ME okay i guess you're interacting, With kids.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
SO yeah i guess that's how it.

Speaker 1 (33:31):
All, STARTED yes.

Speaker 4 (33:33):
I don't think thirty is.

Speaker 3 (33:34):
A lot i'm. Still done and it has to Be a.
Ruby's cube it can't be. A.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
Knockoff okay what about like, different Shapes because lucas has
a triangle, one, Too.

Speaker 3 (33:46):
Right, BUT yeah i have, that one but it's Not a.
Ruby's cube there's A triangle, ruby's cube but, it's smaller
so there has to be actually.

Speaker 4 (33:54):
Rub you you will fit in great with the ten
YEAR old.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
I do he is one that you put in the
freezer and it's. All black it's, all black and then
as it, warms up the. Colors appear it's.

Speaker 3 (34:08):
Called the it's Called. The phantom It's. The fanta you
can't even do it. At first you can't do.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
It, first yeah you gotta do it to warm.

Speaker 2 (34:15):
It, Up yeah lucas will mess it up as much.
As possible he looks at it for like five seconds
and then he'll be. Like, gover yeah he's consistently right around. A.

Speaker 1 (34:28):
Minute, jees yeah it's. Pretty, good yeah that is. Pretty good.
That's Uh but i'm stuck in this. Horror THING like
i Wonder if i'm a. Horror, horder well it just
showed you a video.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
Being a being. A hoarder my mother was a hord
like in?

Speaker 1 (34:46):
My closets are you can.

Speaker 4 (34:47):
Get rid of things? You have do you have a
hard time getting rid?

Speaker 2 (34:51):
Of things or if you're like saving something that's broken
or not useful and, you're, like, oh Well maybe i'm
going to, fix this Or maybe i'll you this in,
the FUTURE or i could there's this One project i've
been meaning for, this war and you're just unwilling to
get rid. Of, things yeah is it tipping over in?

Speaker 4 (35:09):
Your house do you?

Speaker 1 (35:09):
Have? Piles, NO okay I mean i have. Some, PILES
yes i mean, That's true but what, about, like Okay
so i'm not into, collecting Anything but i'm hearing what.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
YOU'RE saying, i mean there's also a difference. Between hoarding
there's five levels. Of hoarding but then there's just clutter that,
everyday clutter and a lot of people that's all that
it is is just having a lot.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Of. Clutter yeah but if you have a lot of
clutter that you haven't got, rid.

Speaker 2 (35:36):
Of yeah a lot of times you just need. A
boost if you're, a hoarder you have a hard.

Speaker 4 (35:41):
Time getting rid.

Speaker 2 (35:42):
OF stuff a lot of my clients just have a
lot of clutter and they don't know where, to start
and so they need me to come in in sort
of sort purge and then. Organize them where the hoarders
are the ones who, are, LIKE oh i can't get rid.
OF that i can't get rid. OF that i have to, say,
that like, you know there's the this is a missing uh,

(36:04):
tupperware TOP but i know that the bottom is somewhere in.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
The, house, yes, yes yeah would you just throw?

Speaker 4 (36:10):
It, Out yeah, i'm like just fucking throw, it out.

Speaker 2 (36:12):
Use tupperware, it's stained, it's, stayed yeah, Melted, plastic, like.

Speaker 1 (36:18):
Yeah, that's me that would. Be me i'm like.

Speaker 4 (36:23):
That when, You move i'm gonna Have to.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
THAT'S true i, am yes set you up for.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
Your, success well the.

Speaker 1 (36:31):
Thing IS like i have so many areas, right now
like everything is just coming at you, at ONCE and
I and, i'm like, fuck dude but, THE yeah i.
Do that what about like kids? Art projects oh, my
god what do?

Speaker 4 (36:46):
You do the kids do not want their?

Speaker 2 (36:48):
Art PROJECTS so i tell people to keep a bin for,
your year like and if the KIDS go i call them.
Purgatory piles like the kids put their stuff in a
purgatory pile for. The week, the weekends you go, through
it you look through it, with them maybe you save
one item out, of it and then it goes in
like their file for. The YEAR then i love. FILING

(37:11):
cabinets i think that. They're great you can Do little
manila folders and have like like, to me i have
cam kindergarten, cam first cam second Like and. I'M saving i.
ONLY save i don't really care about. THEIR homework i
don't care as much about like their. Little doodles anything
that's a creative mind when he writes, a story when
he's like doing something that's truly him IS what. I

(37:35):
save and, you know it's very very minimal because the
kids aren't going to want to look through their shit when.

Speaker 4 (37:42):
They're, thirty, no no they're not gonna.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
Tell you you see how much shit? Goes home, oh yeah,
yeah right, Oh yeah and so it's like what do? You.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
Do yeah you can also get like art folders where
it's like, a frame it's a, large frame and then
you can they're, deep though so you can put some
really cool art projects in there and then sort of
rotate what's towards the front and have it hung up
where it's like displayed and appreciated. BUT preserved i think

(38:12):
things like that are, really.

Speaker 4 (38:13):
Cool but you do not need to save.

Speaker 2 (38:15):
Onto everything BUT then i do tell people to GET
like i can't even think of, the name but the
boxes and things that your kid may want for. Their lifetime,
keep that but it should just be one like small
canvas box that's, pretty sturdy and you can do like,
you know first, communion things anything that's really really worthy

(38:38):
that when they go to move on in our adult
and have, their home they can keep that box to show.
Their children but their schoolwork they are not going to
give a.

Speaker 1 (38:46):
Shit about there's many Layers, to laura you KNOW what.
