Speaker 1 (00:00):
A foolish rich man lose twelve sixteen. The Lord begins
with a parable, and he mentions this fool rich man
the ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully, and
he thought within himself, saying, what shall I do? Since
I have no room to store my crops? So he said,

(00:23):
I will pull down my bonds and build greater and
there I will store all my crops and my goods.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
God called this rich man a fool.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Why because he said, tonight your spirit will be taken
away from you. You will die tonight. All these plans,
what are they for a foolish rich man? Why did
the Lord Jesus say this parable? Because couple of verses
prior to verse sixteen, two brothers, biological brothers, came to

(01:02):
the Lord Jesus asking him to intercede and be a
judge between the two brothers for the sake of a
block of land. The brothers were fighting over a block
of land, like so many people fight over material things.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
What has changed? Nothing except technology.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
People fought at the time of the Lord over a
block of land, and today twenty the twenty first century,
people are also fighting over block of lands and materialism.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Nothing much has changed.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
And the Lord said, well, who made me a judge
between the two of you? What the Lord was saying
you are brothers. Have you ever gave it a deep thought?
You're coming fighting over a block of land, and each

(02:04):
one of you is saying this is mine, and the
other one says, no, it is mine.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Have you gave it a deep thought?

Speaker 1 (02:12):
Because if you had, you wouldn't have argued in the
first place, let alone to come to me, aye Jesus
Christ of Nazareth, and then asking me to be a
judge between the two of you.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
If you gave it that deep.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Thought, you would have come to this realization, and this
reality the very block of land that you were fighting
over is nothing but a grave yard for both of you.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
The land we fight for is our grave.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
The land will swallow us at the end. Will we
take anything with us? No, those who gone before us.
I'm sure there was many rich people on the face
of this planet. I'm sure, Oh, there was a lot
of wealthy people. But did they take anything when they left?

(03:05):
Absolutely nothing? And that's why the Lord gave this parable
to those two brothers and to all of us, saying,
there was this rich man, his land yielded many crops

(03:28):
that night, he said, And he said, my barns are
not big enough. I can't miss on this great opportunity.
I can't let this crop go by to waste. I'm
gonna make their barns much bigger and collect everything.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
And instead of saying.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
Thanking God for this plentiful crops, and thank you God
for allowing me to have all this, I want to
share it with everyone who is hungry. I want to
give to those who are starving. I want to give
to those who are less fortunate.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
No, he became.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Selfish, thinking only of himself, thinking only of himself. And
the Lord warns us, very very profoundly not to fall
into this grievous mistake any human being could ever make

(04:30):
on the face of this earth. And what is that
grievous mistake? The Lord says, No matter what you do,
and no matter where you get, and no matter what
you achieve in life, don't ever end up being a
greedy person. Don't ever be greedy, because greed is only

(04:55):
made possible when a human being love themselves more than
anyone else, and more so more than God. When a
human being reaches a level of loving their own self
more than other people, and more so more than God.

(05:16):
They become totally and utterly blind. Blindness engulfs that person.
They will never ever realize what they're doing, because the
moment a person sees themselves and themselves only, they will
do anything and everything to be successful, even if it

(05:39):
meant I fight with my brother and I step on
my brother, as long as I am seen in the
picture and no one else.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Greed is an.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Absolute blindness to the core and the Holy Bible. And
Saint Peter, in his epistles reference to this, he says,
there is the greatest false God you could worship, and

(06:09):
that false God is the word me. I am the
greatest false God when I begin worshiping myself. And when
do you worship a person? When you love that person
more than God, that person becomes God, but unfortunately a

(06:34):
false one.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
See this.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
Rich man thought of himself only he was already rich.
Hollimable says, he was already rich.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Before even his land given him all these blessings. He
was rich.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Instead of thinking of others less fortunate, he thought, no,
I want to increase and add more to my richness. Selfish, greedy.
Now let me get your attention. Why the Lord says,
don't ever be greedy. Look at verse eighty three, sell

(07:13):
what you have and give alms or in other words,
do charitable deeds. Charity, give alms is charity. To understand
this word much more clearer when you understand and you
are able to read the Arabic language and the Arabic

(07:37):
language for charity or alms as it is mentioned in
this New King James version of the Holy Bible, is
the word sadakah, that is, in the Arabic language, sadakah. See,
now it becomes much more clearer what the Lord is saying.
Sadaka in Arabic derives from.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
The word sudkh. Now it means anything and everything that is.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Truthfulness, that is true, that is real, but true is
much more stronger. So sadaka the Lord is saying in
verse thirty three, sell what you have and give.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
What is truthful. Wow. See now gives much more meaning
to it.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
So it's not about It's not about I go and
buy some maccas.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
I'm promoting Mecca or KFC or Hungry Jacks. They'll have
to pay me.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Now, these guys, you know, it's not about I go
and buy that meal for somebody maybe is hungry sitting
on the on the side of the road.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
It's not about I went and bought. It's about how
did you sell everything and give and gave it in truthfulness?
That's what the Lord is saying.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Be rich in truthfulness, don't be rich in materialism. Now
sadaka in Arabic is truthful? Now, what is the opposite
of truthfulness?

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Lie? Lie is opposite to the truth. This is true.
This is a lie. The Lord is saying.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
When you come to give, give in the truth. Don't eve,
don't give with a lie. Now what is a lie?

Speaker 2 (09:48):
To understand it, A lie is a story based on
no foundation. Is a story with no foundation? That is
a lie.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
What is a story without a foundation? A dream? A
dream is a story without a foundation. Now I'm not
talking about specific dreams, because sometimes dreams can be from God.
But I'm talking in the general sense, and I'll get
to what I'm really trying to get to. So a
dream is a story with no foundation, with no base

(10:27):
to it.

Speaker 2 (10:28):
What do I mean by that.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Let's assume I slept and I now saw a dream,
and in the dream, I saw myself a king or
Donald Trump, the President of the United States of America
in the dream. While I'm seeing the dream, I'm not

(10:52):
saying to myself, I'm in a dream.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
This is not real.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
No, to me, this is reality and there is nothing
else but this. I'm living reality, and I am a king,
I'm a president, I'm this. I'm dead, and I believe
this is it and there is nothing else.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
And before I follow through with this.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Convincing moment, a family member taps on the shoulder and says,
get up, time to go to school. The moment I
wake up, everything I thought was real became a lie.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
I don't have that life anymore. I thought I was
a king. I woke up. I'm a cleaner. I thought
I was rich, and I woke up and I was poor.
I thought it was beautiful. I woke up I was
like Bishop married.

Speaker 1 (11:56):
The moment I woke up from the dream, I've realized
one thing. Whatever I believed in was the truth, was
nothing but a lie. Everything changed. King David says to us,

(12:17):
who is that dream? He says, the life of a person,
a human being is like a dream at the awakening.
The life of a person is like a dream at
the awakening. For as long as we are living on
the face of this earth. We think this is it,

(12:40):
and there is nothing else. I can go, wherever I
can do, wherever I can be, with whoever, and nobody
can stop me.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
This is a free country.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
I am free, and no one can ever dare to
say to me otherwise.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
And as long as I'm in this flesh say I'm
the king of this.

Speaker 1 (13:01):
World, and I do as I please, Not even God
can stop me. The moment I'm chasing this dream, a
tap on the shoulder comes from God.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
Takes the spirit out of the body.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
A foolish rich man, your spirit will be asked of
you tonight.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
What are you gonna do now?

Speaker 1 (13:28):
The moment the spirit leaves the body, it is the
moment of me waking up from the dream. Every plan
I had, every dream I had, every moment that I
wanted to chase and reach this horizon. Everything from head

(13:49):
to toe, inside and out change in a blink of
an eye. The moment the spirit left the body, all
this reality became nothing but one big lie. I held
on on my money, I held on on my throne,
I held on on my fame, I hold on on
my power. When the spirit left the body, all of

(14:12):
these were nothing but one big lie. I came with
nothing to this world and I will definitely leave it
with absolutely nothing.

Speaker 2 (14:25):
What a shame.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
So the Lord says, do you want to leave rich?
You've worked hard, The Lord saying, you've worked hard on
the face of this earth, and you made for yourself
plenty of wealth. Do you want to take it with
you to the next life? He says, there is one

(14:51):
way you can. You know, when we wish to travel
to a foreign country. Say we live in Australia and
I want to travel to another country, but that country
does not accept Australian dollar, but I want to travel here.

(15:14):
The only currency is Australian Go Aussies, baby, that's the
only currency, the Aussie dollar. And that country that I
want to really go to, they do not accept my
Aussie dollar, but I want to go.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
So what do I do? What? Stop going? No, there
is one way exchange that Aussie dollar to.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
That other country where I wish to go. I change
my dollar to their currency to enable me to go
and stay there and live there and eat and drink
and wherever.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
Exchange.

Speaker 1 (15:56):
The Lord says, there is an exchange inge currency place
in heaven called charity. That's the exchange bank. You want
to take what you gained here on earth to heaven
with you exchange it in the bank of almsgiving charity.

(16:20):
That is the truth. Whatever you give with love, whatever
you give in truthfulness, meaning meaning.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Money is all yours, Lord Jesus. It's not mine.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Wealth is all yours, Lord Jesus. It is not mine.
Throne is not mine. It's all yours, Lord Jesus. Power
it is all yours. Everything is yours, Lord Jesus.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
And when you.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Come with this insight, with this acknowledgment that everything belongs
to the Lord, And when I give that ten dollars,
it is not mine, It is the Lord's.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Because this body is the Lord's.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
These clothes are the lords, the house is the lords,
the car is the Lord's. Everything to do with me,
and every possession of mine, eh.

Speaker 2 (17:19):
All of it belongs to the Lord Jesus.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Therefore, when I come and say I'm giving this from
the hand of the Lord, I took it and I
gave it. Nothing is mine. Everything's the Lord's. When you
do it for the glory of Christ, the Lord will
transfer whatever you exchanged there in heaven, and he will

(17:44):
grant you accordingly in heaven. Greed deprives you from all
the blessings that are awaiting you in heaven s.
