(00:02):
Uh, go with me again towe're into collostions now and we're gonna close

(00:37):
on the issue of prayer. We'vespent many a week dealing with prayer.
And if I were to reiterate andto go very quickly, remember that Paul
in praying, does not spend verymuch time praying for things. He's not
praying to accumulate things. He's notpraying for mundane things. His prayer for

(01:00):
the church primarily was for our relationshipwith God to increase and to grow.
We're closing in Philippians No, rathercollostions. I'm sorry, and verse ten
says that she might walk worthy ofthe Lord unto all pleasing. So his
prayer I got a beginning at nine. I'm sorry for this cause. Also

(01:25):
we also, since the day weheard it, do not cease to pray
for you and desire that she mightbe filled with the knowledge of His will
in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that she might walk worthy of the Lord
onto all pleasing, being fruitful inevery good work, and increasing in the
knowledge of God, strengthened with allmight according to His glorious power unto all

(01:49):
patients, and long suffering with joyfulness, giving thanks unto the Father which has
made us meet to be partakers ofthe inheritance of the saints in light,
who had delivered us from the powerof darkness and translated us into the kingdom
of His dear son, in whomwe have redemption through his blood, even

(02:12):
the forgiveness of sins, who isthe image of the invisible God, the
first born of every creature. Andthen, of course he deals with the
power curve for by him or allthings created that are in the heaven and
that are in earth, visible andinvisible, whether they be thrones or dominions,
or principalities or powers, all thingswere created by Him and for him,

(02:38):
and he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
And of course he is the headof the body. So what he's showing
us here again is the significance ofreaching into the throne room, not for
things, but for a great relationshipwith God, God, so that we

(03:00):
might please Him. I spent alittle time in one of my services dealing
with the consciousness that we have tohave of the presence of God. Anytime
you talk about all pleasing, walkworthy, and the word worthy is walking

(03:23):
heavy. That the Greek word isweighty, and to walk weighty is significant
because what it's saying is the closerI walk to God, the heavier I
walk. And what that really meansis the more I operate as He operates,

(03:46):
is the heavier I walk. I'mwalking heavy. My heaviness is in
comparison to how close I operate toHis spirit, his way of thinking,
his attitudes, his strength, andhis power. Then I'm walking heavy.
If I'm walking light, it's becauseI'm not walking close to Him. And

(04:11):
that's why he says walk worthy andworthy is to walk heavy where people can
be affected by your footprint when youstep in a room, and when you
walk in the room, they knowyou're there. You're not tipping. You're
not tipping. Tipping denotes sneaking andbeing sneaky. Walking heavy denotes boldness,

(04:34):
truthfulness, honesty, and being ableto be scrutinized and to be checked out.
And this is what he means whenhe says walking heavy. And the
prayer then is to have this kindof walk based on the knowledge of His
will, because you can't please somebodyif you don't know them, and you

(05:00):
can't walk and please God if youare not cognizant of his will for your
life. And in this case, his will is not for those things that
you don't know yet that he's goingto take you to another level of ministry
and take you to another place, that his will move you to another city

(05:21):
as well. His will in thisparticular text, according to the Greek is
his will for you to walk accordingto His principles in your everyday walk.
This is what he's talking about, not some supernatural situation that he is going
to bring in your life, buthow you apply the things of God in

(05:48):
wisdom and in spiritual understanding for itto give you a certain path in life
and to walk worthy of the Lord, and to walk heavy because you walk
with him. It's significant because nowyou have a consciousness of his presence.

(06:08):
I think I can make that veryplain. I've been single for many,
many years, and all of asudden, now I have a wife,
I have somebody else in the housewith me. Well, first of all,
all you gotta do is remember whatmy house looked like before I had
somebody else in it, and seewhat it looks like now, and you

(06:30):
will understand that somebody else is inthat. I like wide spaces, open
spaces. I like a few piecesof furniture they don't. That doesn't exist
anymore. My speakers, my bigmy Wilson's, my Grandmasters, My eight
hundred pound base speaker that I hadin my room is now in a rapping

(06:57):
downstairs, ready to be trained, sported into another building. Completely because someone
else is in my house. Ican't turn the heat up the way I
want to. Neither can I turnthe air conditionings on the way I want
to without having to ask or toacknowledge that I'm not in this house by

(07:21):
myself. I can't go and buywhat I want. I can't drink what
I want without some consciousness of somebodyelse being in the room with me,
in the house with me. Now, that makes for an adjustment, That
makes for having to study this person, because I may think that they like

(07:47):
something a certain way because I likeit a certain way, and that might
not necessarily be true. So herewe're dealing now with the old issue of
personal sacrifice in order to accommodate anindividual who at the very most is on
my level. Now I'm dealing witha God who is superior. I'm dealing

(08:16):
with a God whose principles I haveto adopt. I'm dealing with a God
who saved me, brought me outof darkness into marvelous light. But for
all of my life, I don'tknow how to walk in the light unless
he directs me, unless he showsme. So now I am and have

(08:39):
a consciousness of the presence of Godthat I never had before. I want
to take it another level, toanother level so we can understand it.
And I'm going to challenge you asI challenge myself. And that is if,
just perchance, Jesus was physically withyou every day. Now, I

(09:05):
want you to understand, when youmove into all wisdom and spiritual understanding,
to walk worthy, to be pleasing, all pleasing, being fruitful in every
good work, your consciousness of Hispresence has to be as strong as if

(09:26):
he were here with you physically. Now, let's take let's get into that.
If your consciousness of Jesus's presence inyour life was him sitting with you

(09:48):
while you were making comments on socialmedia about other people or about situations that
you have heard. Would you whenyou with him reading what you're saying,
would you do it the way youdo it? What is it if he

(10:11):
walked in your house and opened yourcupboard What in your cupboard would you want
to move before he got there? What in your fridge would you have to
move out some drinks? If youwere walking with him and went to restaurant

(10:33):
to eat, would you order thedrinks you ordered if you were sitting there.
You have to deal with that.I have to deal with that.
I'm sitting with my mother, werewatching a movie. The movie got a
little steamy from a sexual point ofview. I'm sitting with my mom,
were watching a movie. I didn'tget the movie for that scene, but

(11:00):
it just went monster ball on us. Now I'm sitting there with my mom
and I sit there. Now oneof us has got to leave the room
because both of us not gonna sitthere. I'm not gonna sit here watching
this scene with you. One ofus gotta go. Now. That's my

(11:22):
mother, And the respect that Ihave for my mother is that I'm not
gonna sit and watch no heavy pettingand no heavy sexual scene on a TV
with my mom. Now, myquestion is if I have any kind of
consciousness of Jesus being with me,If he was sitting there with me,

(11:43):
would I have shut that TV off? Or I would have said to the
Lord Lord, one of us gotto go. It may sound frivolous,
and it may be funny, itmay be something to laugh at, but
I am convinced that with the intensityof god consciousness that this text is suggesting,

(12:09):
there are many things that we wouldn'tdo if we had that constant awareness
of Him being there. There arecertain things you won't do around the saints,
some things you do privately, youwon't do around the Saint the people
around you. And yet still Godis there all the time. He is

(12:35):
there, and for those of uswho have a relationship with Him, this
prayer is significant because it's pulling usinto a consciousness of His presence that allows
us to walk worthy, not untosome pleasing, but to all pleasing.
Now I could take that pleasing fromthe Greek, that all from the Greek,
and not say all from the pointof view of every thing I do,

(13:01):
but all could be every kind ofpleasing, pleasing in my walk,
pleasing in my testimony, pleasing inmy prayer, life, pleasing in how
I deal with people. But thepoint is it is absolute in its expression,
and that is there is a levelof wisdom of knowledge in His will,

(13:24):
with the wisdom and spiritual understanding thatleads me to that place, and
spiritual understanding has to say to methat his presence is real. I cannot
only solicit his presence then when I'msick and needed healing, and I wanted

(13:45):
him to be present in the roomwhen I'm having an operation or doing a
procedure. I want him to bepresent in the ICU with me. I
want him to be present when Iam shopping, when I am working,
when I am looking for the benefitsof selling a property. I want him

(14:05):
to be present in the room withthe lawyers when they are working out my
deals for my next business venture. But I want him to excuse himself when
it comes to my personal life andwhat it is that I'm choosing that is
not all pleasing. You cannot havehim only when you need him for your

(14:30):
personal benefit in a mundane arena, but you also need him for your personal
benefit in a spiritual vertex or vortex. You need him in that place to
bring you to that place where you'remore like Jesus, because that's the only

(14:54):
thing that's going to last. Idon't care how many times I've been healed.
I'm gonna die one day. EvenLazarus after having been raised from the
dead, died. So death iscoming. I don't care how many cars
I have. I'm gonna leave'emhere house, leave it here close.

(15:15):
I can't take it with me.So the significant reason why he prays and
he doesn't pray for things is hehas elevated his prayers to the place where
they have an everlasting result. Whyshould I keep praying? I said to
a man once one time, Isaid, do you have a dog?

(15:35):
He said, I don't have adog. I said, why don't you
have a dog? He said,Why should I have something that I'm gonna
fall in love with that doesn't havemuch of a lifespan? Why should I
be dead over heels in love withthis little critter that is not gonna live

(15:58):
as long as I am. Andthe pain I had when I lost my
dog, I understood. I'm stillgetting over it, and it's been over
a year and I haven't gotten overyet. And I understand. Why should
there be a great amount of effortspent in prayer if it's not prayer on

(16:22):
a level that brings eternal results,Because no matter how I beg God for
things, things aren't gonna last.So it's not about praying for what He
can give me in a mundaining environment, but praying for what He can make

(16:42):
me in a divine environment. That'sspiritual understanding. When I bring spiritual understanding
to prayer, it elevates my prayerlife to becoming more than having we pray
to have. But Paul is prayingfor us to become. So no matter

(17:08):
where we are or no matter whatlevel of life, we are still that
wonderful, beautiful human that God hasmade us as a child of God.
Notice what he says and giving thanksunto the Father which hath made us qualified
or meet to be partakers of theinheritance of the saints. In light.

(17:34):
So there's a total difference between youwalking into the room being a light than
walking into the room being darkness.See, there are some people around you
whose whole spirit is dark. Iwonder do you understand where we are here,

(17:55):
where prayer is being called upon, there's some dark spirits, dark attitudes.
I mean, can you mean youcan feel them when you walk into
a room. And you can dealwith some people who are just really dark
in their attitudes and their dispositions. And I thank you for coming back online.

(18:17):
So many of you who. Iknow you didn't give up on me.
I know you prayed for me thatI would be well able to return
and return with power. And theword is come back with verve. That's
a word to study, v ervee. For you scrabble players, put

(18:37):
that in your vocabulary. It's criticalto understand this that the loftiness of this
prayer is to bring us to thatplace where we give thanks to God for
making us children of light, sothat when you and I walk in a
room, light has come into theroom and that offsets the darkness that's in

(19:00):
so many people. The question isasked, how do I walk around and
how do I operate with my relatives. I walk away with my reditives because
I'm a child of a light,So I cannot indulge in the dark things
of lying, of hypocrisy, ofrevenge seeking, of cussing people out,
of being short tempered and losing mytemper and saying things that ultimately I come

(19:25):
back to haunt me later. Themore I keep talking in the negative plane
is the more I'm going to heapup things that I'm going to be sorry
about. Because I'm a child ofthe light, I can't act like that.
I can't sneak around, I can'twalk on tiptoes. I gotta walk
heavy. I have to walk likehim because I'm a child of the night.

(19:48):
And it's critical that my prayers arenot prayers that are for the things
that perish, but rather for thethings that lead to everlasting life, and
that is becoming. It don't matterwhat you have, it matters who you
are. And this is what spiritualunderstanding says. Spiritual understanding does not measure

(20:12):
one's significant by one's bank accounts,or by what one drives or where one
lives. We only do that tosatisfy the attitude of the people who are
around us, to give the impressionof the people who around us that we
are significantly important because we've gained certainmaterial wealth, and we've gained certain material
things that only impresses people. Andcertain people too, And people on your

(20:37):
level aren't impressed by what you havebecause they already have it. That doesn't
But none of that impresses God.None of it impresses God. What you
have where you live. You can'tlive in a house big enough to impress
God. What you're going to driveto impress God when he is everywhere,
When he needs no transportation to getfrom one place to the other. I

(21:03):
was looking the other night at hypercarsand they had cars out there for five
million dollars. A car for fivemillion dollars would never leave my living room.
I'm was sitting there looking at thecar in the living room, where
we're going to drive it in thestreet for somebody to hit it. You
know, this is the kind ofthinking that absolutely makes no sense. Why

(21:26):
would I need a five million dollarcar for transportation and be begging God for
a five million dollar car. Iwant to be a five million dollar person.
I want to be a person whoseattitude and disposition is wealthy. I
want to be wealthy because of whoI am. I don't want people to

(21:48):
seek me out. I was drivingonce and I was driving I think I
was in a Ferrari, and afellow said to me, he said,
oh, you can get a lotof women with this car. I said,
any woman I can get with thiscar is a woman. I don't
need to have anytime. Your thingsimpress people to be with you. You

(22:11):
are going down the wrong street. You without anything. Should be beautiful,
should be wonderful, should be ableto cast a light, should be able
to give God thanks because He's madeyou a partaker of the inheritance of the
saints in light. That's where weare now. We need beautiful people in

(22:36):
the church. We need wonderful peoplein the House of God. We need
wonderful people in our families, peoplewho have spiritual understanding to know that I
have more to give than my clothes, than my money, than how I
look physically. But I'm a bastionof strength, and I'm a powerhouse through

(23:00):
the anointing of the Lord Jesus Christ. And I don't use my annoying thing
to bash people or insult people orseek revenge. One person said, you
said this, so I said this. You said that, you brought that
up, So I brought that up. And bringing up pictures that are for
for four or five years old.You never know how people are checking you

(23:22):
out and getting all in your affairsand studying you because it seems they have
nothing else to do but come afteryou. And I've found that out.
I wrote something the other day.I'm not gonna read it here because it
might it might upset you too much, but it's it's speaking about people who

(23:44):
aren't achieving anything in God and movingforward in God and moving forward in life
period. They they're destroyers. Theywant to kill and destroy, they want
to tear down because they have nospiritual understanding. Spiritual understanding says, you
don't tear down, you build up. The people in the world don't need

(24:08):
a church where people are tearing peopledown. They need a church where people
are building people up because they needto be built. They don't need to
be able to look into a placewhere they need to come for their own
spiritual strength and see conflict. Theyneed to be able to look in that

(24:29):
place and see joy and see love, and see people strengthening people, people
covering people, people helping people. That's what attracts them, not people tearing
people down and people in church tearingother church people down in the name of
the Lord as if they're close tothe God, or as they're exposing evil.

(24:53):
I should take you to David andhis situation, and I've got a
few minutes. I think our clotheswith that. Because the people lack spiritual
understanding, because they can't walk heavywith God, because they're not walking with
God. They're walking with some religiousidea, with some self righteous attitude.

(25:15):
And if you check the self righteousfolk, and take a good look at
what they're doing in the Look attheir children. Look at where their children
are. Their children know them betterthan you and me. Look at where
their children are. Look at howtheir children live. They have absolutely no
influence on their children's behavior. Lookat how they treat one another. Look

(25:37):
at how they treat their mates.Look at how they treat each other in
the private. Look at how theytalk about people behind their back. Look
at how they try to tear peopledown. I have never been carried away
with self righteousness and people's attitudes abouthow wonderful they are to the point where
they can pick other people apart.I want you to notice something, and

(26:00):
I'm going to close on this, and maybe I shouldn't close on anything negative.
I hate to close on negative things. But I want you to take
a look at David and when Davidhad sin and God forgave him, and
David said, I have forgiven you. But the child is going to die.
And the question now is how isGod and why is God going to

(26:25):
take a child's life who had nothingto do with David and bad she was
behavior. The child was innocent, because the child had absolutely nothing to do
with what David did, and yetthe Lord said to David, David prayed
and begged God for I think atleast eight days he prayed and begged God

(26:51):
to keep the child alive. Now, this child, it wasn't an abortion.
That God did not abort the childin bad Sheep. But this child
was alive. And yet God tookthis child's life. Why because the child
was a personification of David's sin. Now, if you remember the fella in

(27:18):
Pennsylvania, the coach in Pennsylvania,Paternal, I think his name was Paternal.
They built a statue for him.But when he fell into ill repute
because of something that was going onin the university that he didn't fix,
they tore the statue down. Whybecause one day the statue represented his success.

(27:45):
When they found fault with him,the statue now represented his failure,
so they tore it down. Thestatue was a monument to his sin,
so they moved it. The childis not a monument. The child is
a personification. This child is aperson who represents what David did. That

(28:15):
means somebody, and he said, the reason child's going to die is because
you cause the enemies of the Lordto blasphere or to speak evil, and
that is to speak evil of mykingdom, to speak evil of my relationship
with you, to speak evil ofyou who represents me. The child has

(28:37):
got to go. The innocent child, who did nothing, had to die.
So the question now is personification. How does that continue? Well,
it goes like this. You seethat boy right there, that little boy.
Now, David is taking a boyto go to seventy eleven and a

(29:00):
couple of the enemies of the Lordare driving by and they say, you
see that boy right there, that'sthat child. That's David's sin child right
there, him and Badshiba and hekilled your ria. That's the child right
there. You see that one rightthere, that one, the one that's
standing at the counter. What youslow or something? That's the one.

(29:21):
Now ten years later, fifteen yearslater, the child is graduating and going
to go get his certificate. Yousee that right there, that child.
That's that one, remember, fifteentwenty years ago, that's the one right
there. That's the one. Sothe enemies of the Lord number four,

(29:44):
what do you slow? That's theone right there. Now. Notice,
all through that child's life, theenemies of the Lord would use that child
as a measure of David's sin theenemies of the Lord. I want you
to hear this very carefully. Hedid not say the friends of the Lord.

(30:08):
I'm going to move this child becauseit caused the friends of the Lord
or the righteous people to have aproblem. Didn't say that the enemies of
the Lord had a problem. Iwant to say to you, before you
get to judging and trying to wastesomebody, ask yourself, when you do

(30:32):
your writings and have your prophetic utterancesand start bragging about how old you are,
ask yourself, is what I'm aboutto do an indication that I am
a friend of the Lord or anenemy of the Lord, Because as far
as I'm concerned, the enemies ofthe Church and the enemies of the Lord

(30:56):
are constantly looking for some fault thatthey can exploit to keep people from getting
saved. Because ultimately that's what theenemies of the Lord will do, and
that is promote, promulgate, projectdeify, amplify, and exhibit everything that

(31:27):
is wrong in the Church because theyare enemies of the Lord. Now,
I'm gonna tell you what friends ofthe Lord do. Love is what friends
have for the Church, and lovecovers a multitude of faults. Period.

(31:51):
Nobody in a glasshouse needs to bethrowing rocks because those routes are gonna slip
and you're gonna shatter the house you'rein because your righteousness is as filthy rags.
This is not an excuse because whenwe walk worthy, and we walk

(32:15):
in all pleasing and being fruitful,we walk with a consciousness that God is
present in all that I do,in all of my behavior. But we
have to admit that Peter was weakand deny Christ. Judas was wicked and

(32:38):
betrayed Christ. There's a difference betweenyou being weak and you being wicked,
and wicked represents the enemies of theLord. And that's why that child had
to die, because God knew thatit would continue into perpetuity until those people

(33:01):
died out who were of that generation, and they probably would have spread it
to the next generation. And that'swhy we have so much difficulty, because
we have people who like to blog, people who like to sit behind things,
people who like to call out people'sweaknesses and say that person ain't all
that, that person ain't all that, and break down the reputation of people

(33:24):
so that they can feel good abouttheir inadequacy and their inability to achieve.
And that's all that is. ThatYou've got a lot of non achievers who
will never be heard until they takeup a case against you, who are
achieving something. They will never beknown. They will live and die and

(33:46):
you never knew they were in theworld because they never did anything substantial except
come against you. That's the onlytime. And when you answer them,
you give them a respect that theydon't deserve when you respond, because I'll

(34:07):
tell you this, the enemy doesnot know how to respond to no response
at all. He's dumbfounded. Becausenon achievers want your attention, even if
it's negative attention, because nobody wouldknow that they were on the earth if

(34:30):
they did not attack you. Andso what do you do? You keep
on doing what God have you do? You keep on growing, You keep
on praying to walk worthy, Youkeep on praying. Lord. I don't
want to just please you sometimes.I want to please you all the time.

(34:52):
I want to be fruitful, notin some good works, but every
good work. I want to increasein my knowledge of you. I want
you to strength than me with allmight, according to your glorious power,
and help me to be patient andhelp me to have long suffering and help
me to do it with joy.And I want to thank you for making

(35:15):
me suitable to be a partaker ofwhat you would promised to give the saints
in light. And I thank youfor taking me out of darkness and putting
me in this marvelous light. AndI thank you that your blood watched my
sins away. That's the prayer, not for things, but to be what

(35:40):
God would have us to be.Father, we come in the name of
Jesus, and I thank you forthis session. I thank you for these
marvelous people who prayed for me andwho waited patiently for me to come back,
and have given me an idea ofwhere we need to go in the
year to come. And I prayGod that as we move forward, that

(36:04):
you will watch over us, thatyou will let our light shine and not
dim be dimmed by any actions ofour own, behavior of our own,
Keep us from the evil ones, keep us from those who would destroy us.
I pray that your kingdom may lastand be an everlasting kingdom. And
I pray for souls to be savedand people to come into the into the

(36:28):
house, into the church. Thatyour blood will never lose its power,
and I thank you for that right. Now, give us the right voice
to witness, give us the rightattitude, Help us even to respond to
the enemies of God and the enemiesof the Church with the right spirit,
and help us to speak the truthand love. And we claim the victory

(36:50):
in Jesus name. Amen, andAmen, and
