Speaker 1 (00:11):
We welcome to the podcast, join host Ho ho Is.
He discusses the riveting Netflix original series Black Mirror now Here.
He is who for broadcasting from WEAPONI Soft Production Studio Beat.
Welcome to Black Mirror Podcast and as always I'm your

(00:32):
host Ho Ho. So, how y'all's doing. I hope you're
doing good. I really do. I am a bit behind
the curve. Yeah, I'm disappointed too. I apologize and and
by the way, a huge thank you to everyone out
there that listens to Black Mirror Podcast. It I I
greatly appreciate it. I really do. I see y'all all

(00:53):
y'all's out there, and it's it's a blessing. It really
is one of the things that makes doing this podcas
cast so worthwhile. Is you so thank you? And I
was looking at my stats for the show, something that
I haven't done in probably two or three weeks, and
I seen a huge uptick and I was like, am

(01:16):
I missing something? Did something happen that I'm not aware of?
And I looked to see and yes, season seven just
got released a tenth of April, and this is the
twenty sixth of April. So yeah, I'm like two weeks behind.
Holy crap. That's that's very sad for me. So I

(01:38):
looked up the list of the episodes and I seen
that there are six, and of which case, the only
downside that I can see so far in season seven
is is that there's only six episodes. I mean, I
understand that they're you know, not going by way of
you know, regular network series of in like twenty three episodes.

(02:02):
I get that that's a bit extensive, Holy crap. But
at the same time, it would be nice to see like,
you know, ten episodes, you know, kind of going by
way of like Game of Thrones or something like that.
That would be nice, right, Only six. I wish there
was more, I really do. And so the list of
the episodes this season, and see we've got episode one

(02:26):
Common People, Episode two bet Noir, and I'm probably mispronouncing
that be with one of them little little things at
the tip of it Noir, and then Hotel Rivier or
Reverie whatever. I'm probably mispronouncing that too. Episode four is
play Thing, five is Eulogy, and then at least for me,

(02:49):
the much anticipated part two to Uss Callister Uss Callister
into Infinity. I'm excited about this when I really am
now Season USS Callister was the opening episode of season four,
so to see a part two to that, I'm excited
about it. You know, that was the season where, you know,

(03:13):
where they really upped the production value of Black Mirror,
So to see a part two to that one, I'm
pretty excited about. I'm I'm definitely excited to see that. So,
as of right now, I have not watched any episode,
not yet, I haven't even read anything regarding what the
episodes are about. But what I have heard is that

(03:36):
so far, both critics and viewers alike are very pleased
with what they have seen in season seven. Probably there
are many of you out there that have already binge
watched every single episode and are just waiting for the
content to come out, And of which case, I'm excited.

(03:57):
And those episodes are going to be released for season
seven on a monthly basis, starting with May first, that's
going to be whenever the episode for Common People gets released,
and then every month thereafter, ending with what's going on

(04:17):
with season eight, because as of right now, I don't know,
and looking up some information, it seems as though neither
does anybody else. I was asking Duck Duck go I
put in a search to see if there is going
to be a season eight and what it came back
with telling me was As of now, Netflix has not

(04:37):
officially renewed Black Mare for season eight, but the show's
popularity suggests that the producers may consider continuing the series
in the future. Charlie or I'm sorry creator Charlie Brooker.
Brooker has mentioned having ideas for more episodes, indicating a
possibility for more content. I was excited to see that.

(04:59):
And this is based off of a an auto generated
AI response to the question Black Mayor season eight and
scrolling down, I seen an article from I believe it's MSN.
If I'm not mistaken, yes, MSN, Black Mirror season eight.

(05:21):
Here's what we know about the future of the show,
saying that you know, the popularity is definitely there, and
whether they are going to do a season eight is
going to depend on viewers like you watching the season,
rewatching the season, making sure that the popularity stays in place.

(05:44):
And Charlie Brooker has actually even announced that he has
ideas for, you know, for more episodes and see this
was based off of a off of an interview that
he did when the Hollywood Reporter The article says that
he has He's also been enthusiastic about the prospect of

(06:07):
making more episodes, and in fact, he told The Hollywood
Reporter that he has some ideas for future episodes pretty
much fully baked and ready to go. He said, in
some instances he's got a concept but not quite the story,
and others he has a story but not quite the concept.
So there's a little bit of a mix going on.

(06:27):
And of which case, I am excited to hear this.
I really am, because I want Black Mirror to continue.
I really do. I don't know about you, but Black
Mirror is like the biggest thing that keeps me going
back to Netflix. I mean it really is. I mean,
as far as unique content goes, it's Black Mirror that's

(06:47):
the one that keeps me going back. I love the
dystopian world that it creates. And with the you know,
the season four finale Black Museum, I thought it was
awesome considering how so it you know, how it put
in there and basically told everybody that all of this
is going on within the same universe, the Black Mirror

(07:08):
Extended Universe, if you will, the b m EU. So
I'm excited about that. I really am so season seven.
I am excited to go ahead and start watching those
and like I said, there will be a new episode
being released the first of every month, starting May first.
What when is May first? Let's see May first is Thursday? Okay?

(07:32):
So okay? So question question to you the audience, and
of which case you can email me your response over
at ho Ho at the at Black Mirror podcast dot com. Again,
that is ho Ho at blackmor podcast dot com. If
you have any type of a preference onto the release
of these episodes, it is going to be monthly, But

(07:53):
do you want to see them actually being released on
the first or like this Saturday following the first? So
in April it would be the third in and in
March April, No, in April, not April, okay? So in May? Yeah,

(08:15):
in May it would be the third. In June it
would be the sixth. No, June would be June. June
would be the first. July would be the sixth. You know,

(08:35):
so let me know how you think on that. Would
you much rather see them just get released on the
first of the month or like the first Saturday after
the first Let me know what you think. I am
definitely willing to you know, do it however you want to.
You know, the show is about you, it's about well,
it's about the show, but it's because of you. And
in which case I'm willing to do that, I really am.

(08:56):
It doesn't matter to me. But they are going to
be released monthly and I'm excited about that, and then
that will be followed by the season seven recap, and
then afterwards, I really do hope that we have a
little bit more knowledge about what will happen with season eight.
Will season eight come to pass, how many episodes are

(09:17):
they going to be, what are they going to do?
And you know, I really do hope that they continue
with what they did in season four because the season
finale of season four was Black Museum, where they basically
told us that, you know, the entire universe is interconnected.
I would like to see a not really a continuation

(09:37):
of Black Marry or I'm sorry, Black Museum, not necessarily
a continuation of it, not necessarily a part two, but
another story where it very much links everything together again.
I think that would be neat. I think that would
be a neat concept that would be awesome to see
again in season eight. Really would be so let me know,

(10:00):
let me know what you thought so far about season seven,
assuming that you've watched any of them, I don't know.
I myself haven't. In fact, once they get out of
the studio, I'm going to turn it on and I'm
going to start watching the first episode and I am
highly excited. I really am. All right, guys, that is
all I got for you. That is it Season seven,

(10:20):
getting into it. We are going to be releasing a
new episode every single month. Let me know, Hoho at
Black Mirror podcast dot com on how you would like
to see those released the first of the month or
the first Saturday of the month. Let me know. I'm
willing to do it whatever it is you want. So anyway,

(10:43):
you also have yourself a great one and I will
see you and the next one. Thank you for listening
