Channel Island. Channel Island lies about twelve miles off the coast,
near the sea lanes of Transatlantic shippings, swept by cool
ocean breezes, but difficult of access due with rocky shores.
It is a favorite resort of the wealthy who's yacht

not the surface of the islands almost completely landlocked harbor.
As our story opens today, in the office of Police
Commissioner Donnelly, the Troman Dan Garrett, who is really the
Blue Beatles, and Mike Mannigan are being assigned to special
duty by the Commissioner. There have been a number of
mysterious jewel robberies at the Bonnair Hotel on Channel Island,

and we've been called in the work.
Speaker 1 (01:50):

Speaker 4 (01:56):

Well, according to the owner of the hotel, who incidentally
is a friend of mine, he came to him highly
recommended by a hotel over Virginia beating The Bonnet has
rather exclusive hotel, isn't it? Yes, it caters to the
welfare class.
Speaker 4 (02:20):
Is Is this the first year jew robberies have occurred there?
Speaker 2 (02:22):

Speaker 4 (02:25):

This is mister Holsted, and this is mister Gagin my partner,
Officer Manniguan. Uh oh, Malligan another rookie detective. Won't use
it down, Officer Manigan.

Mister Grogan's has just coined a new title, mic rookie Detective.
Speaker 3 (05:44):

It's no wonder jewels thieves like this hotel with paper
wear and stuff like that. That mannigan is not stuck.

the jewels reach their proper destinations. Okay, I'll take care

second part of the story entitled The Duel Mystery of
Channel Islands. Several duel robberies have occurred at the exclusive
bonn Air Hotel on Channel Islands. So far, neither the
robbers nor the jewels have been found off with the
Mannigan and Trowman Dan Garrett, who is really the Blue Beagles,
(14:02):
have been assigned to the case. Shortly after their arrival
at the hotel. A Missus Thomas, one of the guests,
reports the theft of her duel case containing a fortune
in gems. While Missus Thomas, Mike Mannigan Roggin's the house.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
Detective, and mister Halted, the hotel manager, are discussing.
Speaker 2 (14:21):
The theft, the blue Beagle appears and announces that the
duels are in that very room. As our story ended,
the fire gone in the hotel was ringing, Draggins had
dashed out of the rooms, and the blue Beagle dived
headfirst through the window into the sea one hundred feet below.
As our story opens today, a heavy thunderstorm is gradually diminishing.
(14:43):
A short distance from the Bonnair Hotels. A figure emerges
from the water.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
Oh that was a high dive. Yeah lucky. I learned
to dive and swim well at college. Shoot hm when
they were dragon foot.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
When he found out the fire going was a false alarm,
I wanted to separate him and Halted.
Speaker 4 (15:07):

and rejoined Mannigan in my true character of Dan Gareth four,

What Mike? I've got me suspicions of Hartstee, the manager

Yes, he came here from a hotel at Virginia Beach,
that's right, recommended by the owner of the hotel he
used to manic.
Speaker 2 (16:41):

Well, now, if he could scare people away from this
hotel and drop a hint or for about the beauties
of Virginia Beach, he might be able to drum up
a little trade for his old for good.
Speaker 2 (16:53):
Reasoning, Mike, But what about the stone jewel?
Speaker 3 (16:57):
He could hide them awhile and later return them to
the owners and all miniusly anonymously.
Speaker 4 (17:04):

There are the pigeons stillouated against the sky and they're
wiraling down to those woods. Now they've disappeared. I'll have

trail of pigeons by daylight.

By that time the thief may have arrived.
