(00:10):
Hey, what's up Bombadiers the BombSquad. It's fucking boo bombing stories with
Big Irish Jay and today I havea very dear friend, so I love
very dearly who's been been a guesthere at Hollingsworth and Burbridge Manor. She
(00:32):
has a special out called Smam thatyou can see on Amazon Prime YouTube.
Fucking what what the Hulu? UhPrime to be pre free v It is
also on YouTube. I don't promotethat, but yes it is. Okay,
(00:53):
yeah, well then go to AmazonPrime and buy it. Pat get
some money to her. Khaliah theGreat Neil. This is great for people
listening to a podcast you giving apiece on they felt it. Yes,
uh so Khalia, tell me,yes, your best bombing story? Okay,
(01:18):
when I was a little girl.Okay, fine, So okay,
here's my thing. I'm gonna behonest with you, and I'm not I'm
not trying to be this asshole comic. I feel like I have only ever
bombed one time. This is whyI say that. Okay, there has
only been one show that I've donethat was so bad that I was like,
(01:38):
I'm never fucking doing comedy again. And I walked away for like six
months and this was at none otherthan NA The J Spot. Oh shit,
Okay, so for the listeners, for the listeners and or viewers,
the J Spot is a club inCalifornia Greater l Area. What's what city
(02:01):
exactly is Inglewood, Englewood. Ialways get the I lived in Hawthorne,
but I always mix up all thecities and I've done the J Spot.
I'll tell you my JA Spots storyhere in a sec. But uh,
you know it's it's it is itstill open. It's one of those clubs
where I think Jay Anthony, Ithink the name is still up there and
(02:24):
if he feels like doing something,it can happen. But no, it's
not actively running. I was goingto say it was. I was gonna
say it is, or it wasone of the only black owned comedy clubs
in the country. I think therewas back when the Comedy Union was open.
I think there was like eight ornine and after COVID I know anymore.
(02:45):
But Okay, so you're at andit's a you know the clientele is
predominantly black, you'd say, yes, definitely. So here's here's where this
was at. This was I'm gonnasay early twenty eight team. At the
time, I had been running thisset at Flappers and that was doing really
(03:06):
well. I had been running thatset at the Store. I had been
running this set, you know, all these places where I'm like, you
know, I got this. Igot the opportunity to do Excuse me,
I'm sorry just one second, youguys. I just had a black Mom
moment with my dog. I'd beenrunning this set, so I had the
(03:27):
opportunity. They were like, hey, you know, do you want to
perform at the J Spot? AndI'm like, sure, I'll perform at
the J Spot. And the opportunitywas opening for Michael Blackson. Motherfuck,
I'm getting stressed out now that I'veeven started the story. The opportunity was
opening for Michael Blackson. So Iam excited. I'm ready to go killing
the way I've been killing it atFlappers. And actually, now that i'm
(03:52):
thinking about it, because I'm thinkingabout where I was living at the time.
This was twenty sixteen, and there'sa reason I know that, and
that comes up the bomb. Thiswas twenty sixteen, so I'm about four
years into the comedy game, aboutthree years into LA and two years really
into the LA scene, I guessyou could say, but nothing the way
I am now. It was justsomething that I kind of did, but
(04:14):
I was good at it. Sowhen I get this opportunity to open for
Michael Blackson, I remember I showedup to the club. First impression,
I was excited. They it wasone of those clubs where, yes,
it's a black club, but I'dalso been performing at the Comedy Union,
which also is a black owned club, but the Comedy Union clientele is a
little bit different. It's the ComedyUnion services African Americans and the J Spot
(04:38):
services Black folk. And I'm gladyou said I can't. I'll just say
that I concur that's the best wayto put that. And I had been
with the folk, with the AfricanAmericans at the Comedy Union for a while.
So I get to the J Spot. First impression was great. They
(04:59):
treated me well, like a nicekind of green room area. The food
was amazing, and this was Imean, this was back and I was
getting paid in drink tickets. Ittells you how long ago that was for
me. So this was a whileago. So they gave me food and
I had two freak drinks, twodrink tickets to cash in at the end
of the night. So I'm backthere and I'm super excited to meet Michael
Blackson. His manager walks in,and his manager introduced himself to me,
(05:24):
and he's like, oh, howlong have you been doing comedy? And
I'm like, oh, I've beendoing comedy for four years. And he
just kind of tough set me andhe's like, I know what you're going
to talk about. And I'm thinking, like, I he don't know that
I've been killing it. He don'tknow that I've been killed it at Flappers
okay, and and and all theseother places, so he don't know what
(05:45):
I'm about to do, Like I'mabout to knock his socks off, right,
So then Michael walks in. He'snice, he says hello, and
they're kind of chilling in the greenroom area. The show starts. This
woman named Ramona Stevens's host. Thisis important to the story. This is
how I remembered. It was twentysixteen, So Ramona Stevens is hosting.
It sounds familiar. I'm kind ofold school black Lady comic. Okay,
(06:12):
she's hosting brings me up. Sothe room itself, you know, Michael
Blackson is Michael Blackson. But youknow, there were maybe forty people there,
and I feel like I'm pushing thatin the room probably see it's like
two fifty, So there was thatpeople sat wherever they wanted. It's not
(06:33):
like anyone was encouraged to sit towardthe front. So when I get on
stage, there's literally a mom anda daughter, like two women just sitting
in the front. Everybody else iskind of scattered about. So I'm doing
my set to the quiet, likeit's so quiet like that, like even
(06:56):
in my quote unquote pauses, Ijust keep talking because I'm like this and
I'm like in my head, I'mjust like you have to keep going.
And I'm like I don't get it, Like this was killing everywhere else,
Like go now, mind you.I know I could go in front of
that same crowd today and kill withthat same set, But I didn't do
(07:16):
any code switching. I did it, you know, verbt. I'm like
how I had been doing it,and they're just kind of looking at me.
And then the two ladies are sittingup front. They feel so awkward
because they're like they have to bepresent because they are sitting front rope.
Right, I remember at the endof my set, all I heard was
(07:42):
and it was from the two ladiesin the front and then and the look
on their face was just there wasangst, like is she all right?
Like if I if I clap again, she'll disappear, right, like we'll
well, three clicks take me home. It was terrible. So I'm now
walking but sorry interrupt you, butuh you're are you featuring for Michael Blackson?
(08:03):
Yeah? So how long is yourset that you had to do it?
I mean I think it was afifteen minute set, and is this
fifteen minutes of this of where you'reyou're hitting and it's quest. The loudest
they were was when she said, welcome to the stage. Khalia McNeil.
(08:24):
Now, okay, this is backagain. This is you said you're about
four years in. This is likefive years ago roughly, and uh now,
as you well know, it waslike twenty sixteen, this was right
eight years years ago. Okay, gotcha. Sorry. I went to a
public school. So when you soyou do your first joke and when like,
(08:48):
I'm just wondering, like what wasgoing through your head as as you
keep firing off joke? What wasgoing through my head was Okay, I
have to at least finish or they'renot going to give me my drink ticket.
That's all that was going through myhead. And I'm just like,
I'm talking and how do I putit? You ever? Like I could
(09:09):
feel the room like I'm I'm Icould. It was almost as if I
stepped out of my body and Ijust started looking around the room at everybody
else who was doing everything other thanlooking at me. And then I'm trying
my hardest not to look over atMichael Blackson's manager, who already said I
was gonna suck. And on theearly part of your set, sorry,
on the early part of your set, as like, let's say, you
(09:31):
know, you two or three jokesin and they're not going over for whatever
reason. Yeah, in your head, in your head, what's going on
in your head? Are you thinkinglike, I know I'll get them at
the end, or are you thinkinglike, hold, I'm thinking I just
have to keep going. I wasn'tthinking about it. There was no strategy
like if I were to go intothat situation now where I could immediately I
(09:52):
can immediately feel if something's not goingthe way I want to and clean it
up to where the audience doesn't evenrealize that something has happened, like we
can correct that on the spot.Now. That wasn't even I was just
like, okay, so I'll justkeep I'll keep going with my script.
My next line is, and mynext line is, and my next It
was like being back in Baptist Churchdoing Eastern speeches on Sunday. It was
(10:16):
very awkward. And the thing islike when I was walking off the stage,
like this was the worst part. When I'm walking off the stage,
it was like my face was hot. I'm trying not to cry. I
walked past Michael Blackson's manager and he'slooking at me like this fucking unfunny bitch.
I hear the host say, andI quote, oh no, well,
(10:39):
at least we know she's smart. She speaks really good. Yeah baby,
if they're not laughing, just stop. And I'm still walking. I
(11:00):
go straight to the bar. Ihave two drink tickets. I said,
may I please have a double andshe says yes. My lip starts quivering.
I kind of like just slid thedrink tickets across the counter. She
put the bar tender put her handon my hand and was like, you're
just too smart for them, Isaid, thank you very much. I
(11:20):
walked out of that club with theirglass and their drink just downstairs into the
car. Unless I was done.I was done. And then it's like,
fast forward. The reason I rememberedthat it was Harmona Stevens, his
host. Fast forward a year later. This bitch is the fucking leasing agent
(11:41):
at the apartment complex that I wasmoving into. And I'm just like,
you gotta be fucking kidding me.This bitch sh Now were you? Did
you ever get to perform again atthe J Spot a few other times?
Yeah? But I mean and thatand and those were fine. And but
this is what I did now,I did not do comedy. Didn't do
(12:03):
comedy for six months after that. And when I did go back to comedy,
I made it a conscious effort whereI me it was me and Teddy
Ray. Actually he took me toa bunch of hood ass rooms and for
a month straight, I only didhood ass rooms. And I'm talking about
rooms where we were getting paid inchicken plates. You hear me, ye,
(12:24):
hood ass rooms. And you knowbut that Cherry Ray, Yeah yeah,
Teddy, all right, so fuckthat's crazy. For six months,
it fucking shook you. Yeah.Fuck, I mean I love and I'm
(12:46):
sure you probably are the same.I always say I love black rooms because
they're the most honest. You don'tget courtesy laughs. Uh you know they're
they're they're not gonna, you know, give you the benefit of the doubt.
Well it's that. And also yougot to understand when I go up
in a black room, in ablack folk room, not an African American
(13:07):
room. When I go up ina black folk room, I am already
fighting a few different things. Theyalready are a little annoyed with what they're
looking at, and they want toknow what I'm about to say, and
and they don't want to hear itfrom jump you have. And even though
it's funny, yeah I hear,Okay, yes, yes, I I
(13:30):
get And even though it's funny,it's one hundred true. And to this
day, niggas will come up tome, men will come up to me
after the shows, but I willget I'll get that. I'll get men
who and I'll physically see them onstage, like while I'm on stage just
kind of trying to figure out what'sgoing on. Because for those who can't
(13:50):
do are only seeing me from thechest up I'm thick, I'm sitting on
something, and so you know, they'll they'll be looking and not really sure,
and like I'll have dudes come upto me after the show them that
I mean, I didn't know whatyou was gonna talk about, bullull,
you know. And so when I'malready going up in front of a black
folk room, a hood room, what have you, I'm already just making
(14:11):
sure you know that that I'm I'mWe're let's throw out what you already see.
Okay, let's let's let's let let'sthrow the rabbit out of the hat
or whatever the fuck like you seeit. This is what, this is
what I am, this is whoI am. And now let's get to
the jokes. So then that's somethingnow that I can do very well,
Like I punch you from the fromthe gut, from the get go,
(14:35):
like I do church shows. Youknow, usually when I do a church
show, the very first thing outof my mouth, when I see these
little ladies looking at me what theynose has turned up, trying to figure
out why what I'm doing in theirchurch. Usually the first thing I'll I'll
say something along the lines like Iknow you guys see me like and I'll
say something like, yes, Iam a softball coach. Let's let's go
ahead and move on. Or I'lllet them know that I'm a preacher's kid.
(14:56):
I said, I'm a preacher's getmy dad's a pastor. So this
this makes sense? Then we alwaysdoing something? Might we all were always
doing something, and then we justmoved right along so we can get into
the material to get past what itis that that you're looking at p K's
p ks. Oh yeah, souh yeah, my I'll talk about it
(15:18):
afterwards because it doesn't have anything todo with the podcast, but I'll tell
you afterwards. Okay, the pK thing, Uh okay. Now I
ask everybody after the bombing story twoquestions. One, uh what, looking
back on it now, if youin the same situation, what would you
have done differently? And what didyou learn from it? Looking back now?
(15:45):
I would have pivoted. I wouldhave pivoted, immediately dropped the whole
set if I needed to be,and just jumped into something else, you
know, just another some more materialin my reserve, or you know,
knowing who I was opening for,or you know, just kind of researching
his audiences a little bit and uhdumbing well, you know, just catering
(16:07):
my material to who I was featuringfor at the time, and what did
I learn from it? I meanI stayed up there. Yeah, I
stayed up there, you know. You know it took me, Like I
(16:33):
said, I sat down for sixmonths. But going back into it,
you know, it's just one ofthose I'm not There's not a room that
I'm afraid to do. You knowwhen I when I was at Kimmel's last
week, I was obviously nervous. This wasn't my crowd, this wasn't this,
this wasn't that. But you know, there's like, there's never a
room that I'm afraid to do.I've been put in a lot of situations
(16:55):
since then. Then I'll continue tobe put in situations where it's my first
time for something. You know,it's like my first time performing in front
of an international audience. When Iwas in Montreal, I did not know
how I would be received, Like, yeah, I know it's jfl Yes,
I know you guys are used tothis festival, but you guys are
are French Canadian, you know, like are you do you even know what
I'm like? You know, likeeven something as simple as like, is
(17:17):
are my nuances going to translate? Are my you know? So things that
I take the extra time now.One thing that I love about when I
when I perform now, no matterwhere I'm at, is I try to
spend a moment in the environment totry to pick up what is it about
this place that's a little strange, little odd that I can that I can
hit at the top of the setthat lets people know that I'm here and
(17:38):
that I'm relating to you know whatyou got going on. Like one of
my when I go to San Diego, I love to do a bit about
black speech, which is a nudebeach in San Diego, and I do
this bit about, hey, youknow, I went to black speech today,
you know, and then the audienceknows what it is. They're like
oh, and I'm like, yeah, I thought I thought this was how
black people got to California. Itis not, you know. And then
(18:02):
but they're because they're like, oh, they know what black speech is and
they know that I'm so, youknow, it's just something that kind of
pulls people in a little bit more. It sounds like two things. It
sounds like that you learned from it. One more preparation, be more prepared.
And also from what you were sayingearlier, because you were saying you
just you're like, Okay, thisisn't going overall but overwhel but I have
(18:26):
my script and that script will fillfifteen minutes. So I'm just going to
do my script. So it soundslike you also learn to be more in
the moment, which you like seeing. You know, I've only seen you
or known you stand up wise forwhat three or four years? Yeah,
about three years, and I've alwaysknown you as very in the moment,
Like you're very in the moment.Like I remember when we were at OIO
(18:48):
and you started talking to the whiteman, the old white dude, and
then started like flirting, like jokinglyflirting with him, and like yeah and
yeah. So I've always known youas being in the moment. So it
sounds like that was one of thethings you might have learned from that.
Also, Yeah, definitely it wasscary. Though it was scary, It's
(19:10):
just like, yeah, I waslike, this is soup. I'm never
doing it again. Like I againliterally went home with the j spot cup,
took it in my car. I'mlike, I'm not drinking this in
here. I don't want to hearhis set. I don't want to hear
anything the host has to say.It also taught me because after that I
was producing my own shows and hostinga lot. I'm like, listen,
as the host, if somebody bombs, bring the room back up. You
(19:33):
don't have to you don't have to, you know, punch down on them
to bring the room up, unlessthey've just done something stupid, you know,
just they feel bad enough, they'reaware, they're aware of what they've
done. I remember when you weretalking about like just leaving. You're like,
I don't want to hear all thisshit. I was. I told
(19:55):
it on this show. I toldmy bombing story or one of my bombing
stories. And that happened in SanDiego. Actually. But after the show,
I was hanging out with all thecomics, and uh, one of
the comics that was like a youngercomic, was like he was like,
I mean, you know, itwasn't bad. I mean there's I go
no, no, no, no, I go, don't let me let
me take the ball. It's allright, Yeah, I'm a big boy.
(20:17):
I can. I'm like, letme just sit in it. It's
fine. You don't have to betrying, you know, soothe me or
anything. It's you know, shithappens. It is what it is.
That was a fucking hot one thatI bombed on, but it ended up
being having a funny story. Thischip like this lady walked out in the
middle of the show and like sheshe DMed me, she DMed the producer
(20:38):
of the show, she DMed thebar and uh said all this. You
know, she didn't listen to thebit. She just she heard a word
that triggered her and she fucking left. Oh, I had the same thing
happened with Laugh after Dark. Okay, one of their live at Vegas shows.
This lady wait, wait actually, because I'll have you come back and
tell that story. Well, youdidn't bomb, it was you didn't No,
(21:02):
I didn't bomb, It was justthe irate customer. Wait, okay,
go ahead, tell me what wasit? No, you go,
you go? Well, so wrote, yeah, she she DMed all these
people, or messaged all these people, and then she wrote a YELP review
for the bar and like it said, you know, talked about me blah
blah and the bar and that they'rethey're not friendly to the LGBTQ community and
(21:25):
blah blah blah because of because ofmy joke, which is this story about
going out with the trans chick, right and yeah, and so I did
a The way this whole story endsis I told my bombing story. But
I went on Yelp and I dida Yelp review for the restaurant, and
also that lady I said that Inamed her because her name was on the
(21:45):
Yelp review. I was like, this, lady, she doesn't she I
give her, you know, onestory or whatever. I don't remember what
the fuck I wrote, but whathappened with your thing? I was telling,
uh, I was this was stillthis was priest, ma'am. So
this was just one laugh after hadjust started doing live in Las Vegas and
it was one of the first showsthat they did, and it was a
(22:06):
killer show. This was like Januarytwenty twenty two, January February twenty twenty
two, and I had had agreat set. Now, mind you,
notoriety was packed. There was onetable that wasn't rocking with me. They
were rocking with me at the beginningof my set. And then because I
was telling jokes from like, thiswas pre SMAM, so I was prepping
(22:26):
for SMAM so I was selling jokesfrom smam and I have this joke called
the New Jim Crow, which isone of my favorite jokes ever, and
it is a killer, and it'sjust about First of all, y'all,
go watch and or listen to theGrammy Considered Smam and you will know the
joke. But the premise of thejoke, basically, New Jim Crow is
talking about masks and how you know, I was watching the news one day
(22:48):
and white people, which they werewere tripping out about, you know,
like, ma, go, Ican't believe you're trying to make my kid
wear a mask. This is likethe new slavery. And I'm like,
this is crazy, and I'm like, maybe I should get my vaccine because
if they start limiting what we cando, then if I get my vaccine,
then I can do, you know, things that rich white people can't
do. You know, it'll belike the New Jim Crow. And I'm
(23:08):
Jim and I said, I loveit, And I was like, I
went to a restaurant. I justkind of walked through this whole thing about
At this restaurant, they wouldn't letthis lady in. It was a little
white lady. So I stuck aroundand when she wouldn't leave, you know,
I told her, I said, hey, you order your food out,
turn around and go outside, eatit around back. You know,
new Jim Crow. So I'm doingthis bit and you know, like the
room is like erupting. It's oneof my favorite bits. And a couple
(23:33):
days later, Robert sends me amessage screenshotting something that she wrote as a
review on their Facebook page, onthe notoriety page on Yelp, and then
she had all her friends do itand I'll never forget. They were from
Iowa City, IO, iow IdahoCity, Idaho, which says everything that
it needs to say, and Iwas like, I was furious. I
(23:57):
was furious as hell because Robert tookit upon himself to post the review to
Instagram as kind of like a likefuck what these people say? And I'm
like, yeah, but take thatshit off of Instagram, take it down.
So he ended up taking it down. But no, that ship that
had me tight for like a coupleof weeks. I was pissed off about
(24:19):
that ship, now, do you? Because it was like she loved my
set all the like cause she's thefirst part of her set was real funny
yeah. The first part of myselfwas about hood ship, it was about
my dad, it was about thatwas funny. But when we get down
to you know, the nitty gritty, now it's a problem, like lady,
fuck you, yeah exactly. Nowdo you how do you how do
(24:42):
you react to for whatever reason,if somebody isn't feeling your like if they
were, if this was to happen, now, how would you react to
it? Do you still get pissedor do you are you just like,
yeah, the only time that's happenednow is someone this woman in Santa Barbara
got upset excuse me in Solving, got upset with me because she wanted me
(25:04):
to do her And this is funny. This is how I'm going to answer
this question. But I promise youit's a long way, but it's an
answer. She wanted me to doher Juneteenth event last year in Solving,
which I don't know that there's enoughblack people in Solving to have a Juneteenth
event. Sounds like it's unsolving,But you know, we get down to
(25:26):
it, and you know, aspart of my booking policy, it's fifty
percent at the time of booking, fifty at the you know, at the
show, and so she had noproblem with that. So leading up to
the event, this was again,Now this is a year ago, and
I'm saying that specifically because at thispoint this is I have some accolades,
and I you know, everybody deservesrespect, but I deserve some respect.
(25:51):
So I'm sending her, you know, the photos that she can use for
promo. I'm sending her my bio. I'm sending all this and that you
know everything, And of course it'slike, if there are any issues,
let me know so we can tryto so I can then you know,
update you were, send you whatyou need for for your show. So
she sends me the way. AfterI send her everything, I'm not hearing
anything from her for a couple ofweeks. I think it's all fine.
(26:14):
She sends me the website. Thewebsite has some AI generated photo of me
that she's made, and I'm like, hey, I saw the and my
last name was spelled wrong. Nowyou know that is my pat Peeve.
There are two l's in my MacNeil. I get it. You're used to
mcmeal being with one L. Well, I I am used to it being
with two. Like that's that thatthat's that's how i've you're you're the talent.
(26:40):
It's your name on the fucking poster. So I just write her and
I'm like, hey, just letyou know my name is spelled wrong,
and uh, that picture is notsomething that I that I approved. So
if there's another picture you'd like, please let me know so I can send
you you know what you'd like.I'll fix the name. I said,
okay, and then also the picture. You know, I want to be
able to promote this, so yeah, we're gonna need to fix the picture
(27:03):
as well. So long story short, she was like, well, i'll
just take you off the website ifthat's a problem. And I'm like,
okay, yeah, that's all.I don't give a fuck, Like take
me off the website, Like Ireally don't care, no problem. So
then we get about about two weeksout for the show and I'm promoting the
show, but you know, I'moff of the website. So I'm just
(27:23):
telling people, hey, come toSolving on Juneteenth for you know, this
show and this and that. She'slike, well, you know, can
you use our promotional materials And I'mlike, well, I'm not on the
promotional materials, so I don't understand, like you want me to share a
flyer with faces that I'm not on, right, I said, well,
I'm not going to do that. She ends up accidentally sending me a message
(27:47):
that she meant to send her assistant. This girl's getting on my damn nerves.
I went and watched her. Gowatch her special on Prime. Yeah
it's only two ninety nine, lol, Like, bitch, The Avengers is
two ninety nine on Prome. Likewhat are you talking though? Like you're
a fucking idiot that like that,Yeah, that's how I've been paying bills
(28:08):
for over a year off of thatto none. You get what I'm saying.
So she sends that and I sendher a text back and I was
like, either your assistant's name isreally close to mine or you're not too
bright. Then she calls me.I think we need to have a phone
conference. Let's have a call,and I'm just naming a time, four
o'clock on Tuesday. I call myagent, who at the time I didn't
(28:30):
even have a manager at the time, but my agent we're just very close.
She doesn't represent me for comedy, but I'm like, can you be
can we be with each other? When I make this call because I just
feel like I may need at leastsome backup. So I go to my
agent's office. We were supposed todo the call at three o'clock. I
call her at three oh one.She doesn't pick up the phone. She
(28:51):
sends me a message I thought thecall is supposed to be at three o'clock.
Oh okay, lady. Well thenuh. She calls me back and
she's like, I only have fiveminutes to talk. And I was like,
okay, what's going on. She'slike, well, it seems like
you don't want to do the eventanymore, so you know we're gonna need
that. And it's hitting me themore she's talking. I was like,
(29:12):
oh, this bitch is trying toget me to quit so I can give
her the deposit back. Ah,I ain't quitting. Yeah, I don't
care how I don't care how tenseit is before that. She doesn't know

a phone call and fuck off?I'm like, I don't care. NK
(29:36):

she's like, well, you knowthe way that our communication has been
going back and forth and something assimple as a photo. I said,

me off the website completely. Iwas like, I've been promoting the show
(29:56):

are not comfortable with that. Well, I just when you get to the
show, like, how are yougoing to be? And I said,
I'm going to do my set andthen I'm going to leave, and she
well, I'm not very comfortable, you know, with the way this is
going on. Now. I said, you're not comfortable with the way this
is going She said no, Isaid you're not comfortable. You're not because
now I'm playing this game. Isaid, you're not comfortable with me performing
(30:17):
at this show. She's like,no, honestly, I'm not. I
said that's fine. Then I saidyou have a great day and I hung
up the phone. She calls meback. I don't pick up. She's
text me or we're gonna need thedeposit back. I said, baby,
you're not getting the deposit back. She's like, well, I'm going to
take legal action. I was like, for two fifty I said, go
ahead, go ahead. I've stillnot been contacted by anybody's lawyer. She's
sending my agent all these all theseempty threats. Then about three months later,
(30:41):
I've done forgot about this lady.I'm checking smam and Smam, which
had already had nothing but five starreviews, all of a sudden was four
point five on Prime. I'm like, how the hell did they get down
to four point five? Like, don't get me wrong, like I I
can accept criticism, but to jumpfrom five stars for over a year to
(31:03):
four point five, I'm like, dang, I must have missed a lot
of negative reviews. Let me goback. There was one one star review
this bitch and it was like thiscomic ain't funny. And then I went,
and you know how I do onInstagram, I lit her ass up
