Speaker 1 (00:12):
Hey, I'm Sydney and I'm Delaney, and this is book cult.
Whenever you do this, you fuck it up. But it's fine.
On one today we're talking about Wicked Forest by BC Andrews,
the second book in the de Beers series.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
Beers.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
Yeah, and to celebrate my definite spot on predictions, I
didn't take a few swings and missus that really went wild.
They're with it. Then it got But you know what,
I'm drinking raspberry lemonade from Winco whenko I do want
to say one thing? Why the fuck is your orange
juice so expensive? Winco brand orange juice? Five dollars thirty cents.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
That's a lot for orange juice.
Speaker 1 (00:53):
Yeah, other brands like four dollars? What's up with your
orange juice prices? Wild? I had to buy like Choupic
Hanner something I always buying name brand because it's cheaper.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
That's wild, go slackened five dollars. Well, I'm drinking alcohol
for once.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
I have.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
It's a two Town's uh cosmic critisp Applesider Classic Classic,
love It, Love it, two Towns.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
One day and a few months I'll be able to
drink again.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
Yep, like three more months or so. Probably a little longer.
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:35):
Oh weeks. There you go count it down eighty two
days if you want to be precise time my d date.
But who knows when he'll show up. All right, let's
get into some predictions. So before I started reading, I
was like, let's go for it. I think Thatcher's ex
girlfriend's gonna come down. Technically I was right. I saw
that Lennon's gonna try to fuck her despite knowing their siblings.
(01:57):
Sort of right, Yeah, go to find out her dad
and her mom's relationship wasn't actually ascuse as she thought.
She did not find that out, but it is still true.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
It is still true.
Speaker 1 (02:06):
Here's where I was going crazy. Her dad had my
house killed the guy who raped her mom. Nope, he's
still alive. He's fine. Wish that happened. Predictions during reading,
Kirby Scott is going to come to town and he
had try to fuck Willow. No, I wish uh, Willow's
professor's going to try to fuck her yep, or get
with her mom. Because I didn't know how old he was,
they didn't talk about it until later this Yeah, this
(02:29):
is when his age was unknown. He was young as shit.
So I guess. I guess I would have liked to
see him get with her mom. She's gonna see a
Thatcher with another woman to think he's cheating and immediately
run a professor and hook up with him. Only be
wrong about Thatcher cheating. Now, that was more drama than there.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Really was very specific, but a similar thing happened.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
Yeah, I saw that whole and this is laid on.
But I was like, Lendon's poisoning their mom or her
mom has had cancer the whole time, he's been hiding it.
And then I said she's pregnant with Lindy's bab because
he's been drugging everyone and insulting her at night. Now
that one maybe.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
Not disapproving so far. Okay, my predictions are a little
less crazy.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
I was really going for it. I think I could
write about a VC book.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
So before reading it, I thought Thatcher was going to
do something terrible, you know, I didn't trust him. I
also thought her mom was going to die somehow. That
was right on that, and of course that Linda was
going to do something terrible and creepy. While I was
reading it, I predicted her teacher was going to try
and fuck her. Uh, duh. I thought Thatcher was going
(03:36):
to like reveal something terrible once they got married. No,
also thought he'd been cheating the entire time. I thought
he was going to use the prenup to get the
house from her.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
Really hinted at that. They made it a whole thing.
Speaker 2 (03:48):
That never game nothing. I feel like they forgot about it.
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
Yeah, they were like, oh no, but the prenup has
the house STUFFID isn't it and then do.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
It and her lawyers like no, I got this.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
Yeah, he's like moving on, it's fine.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
I thought her friend Holden was going to try something
with her. He did, and then I thought like something
was gonna happen with Kirby, like they made.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
It Kirby will be part of it, a big deal.
Speaker 2 (04:10):
And then it was like nope, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
I thought Kirby was gonna be more of a dang.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:18):
But all right, so let's see what we were.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
Right and wrong about and happened.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Yep, here's a summary. So Willow arrives at her mom's
house late, but stays up talking to her mom for hours.
Oh so previously she left to go deal with Myles funeral,
So now she's back.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
Yes, right up to day in Palm Beach.
Speaker 1 (04:38):
Yes, so not long after she like finally goes to
better her new home, she's woken up by someone walking
outside and she follows to find Linden sleepwalking on the beach,
and she guides him back to bed, and in the
morning wakes up to find him like eating breakfast with
her mom and he won't acknowledge her like being there
at all, and he's like, I'm gonna go take a walk.
So Will tells her mom that about the sleepwalking in
(04:59):
her mom worried about Lindon is like his doctor thinks
he needs to go to a clinic. Girl, everyone's saying
that maybe I'll shall listen. So yeah, if the doctor's
saying maybe he should get some like impatient help, listen.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Yeah, you're literally a fucking student girl. She's in her
second year of college.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
That's why she thinks she's good enough to handle it.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
Yeah, Like, my dad was a psychiatrist, so I know everything.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
But your dad's job isn't. Yeah, if your dad's a doctor,
don't make you a doctor.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Sorry, No, you're not a legacy.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
Yeah. Later that morning, Will goes out to walk the
beach yourself. She sees Bunny and Astronau with some friends.
Bunny glares at her and like laughs, and she's about
to walk away when thatcher comes out and he looks
at her, but he's a wave or say hi, So
she's like what the fuck? So she walks away and
he goes inside around the house to the back back
out to the beach to catch up with her, and
(05:55):
she's like hmm, and he's like, I'm sorry for not calling,
and she's like, I don't want your damn excuses, and
he's like, okay, fine, something went down after you left.
And then he's like, my sister told me the man
who assaulted your mom is also did the same to
my mom, and I'm maybe like the child of that event.
Therefore I am your half brother's half brother, in which
(06:17):
I was like, yeah, that makes sense, that that's very
vc of you.
Speaker 2 (06:22):
I was just like, okay, awfully convenient. You have this
weird little excuse to why you can't be seen with her,
Like shut up.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
You see. I was so like, yeah, that's where you know,
he ain't a great guy, but he ain't evil yet.
Well I'm not gonna say he's even full on evil.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
He's just a douche, Well, we don't know what will
happen in the later books.
Speaker 1 (06:45):
Why don't happen to the next book? And he's just
kind of the same so far. So he says his
sister told his mom to tell him, and his mom freaked, like,
how do you take care of because she's fragile? Emo
is being a bit about his mom's issues. She's always like,
your mom is like so fragile and like so annoying,
and why does she have an emotions? She can't get
droll And he's like, damn, I wish I hope you're
(07:05):
like more compassionate when you have patience of her own.
My mom obviously is mentally ill.
Speaker 2 (07:09):
He's like, I know that she's a crazy socialite and stuff,
but like she does like have some anxieties.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
So yeah, he's like, she still obviously needs help. You
just because she's rich doesn't mean you should be a
bitch to her about her illnesses. And I'm like, that
is a good point. Your mom is fucked in the
head and she should acknowledge that. Yeah, But he's like,
don't worry. I'm looking into it to like see if
it's actually true. Kirby Scott's my real dad, and like
(07:35):
if when it's my brother or not, and and tell
them we should see each other on like the down
low because you might be my brother's sister. That could
be weird. And while I was like, you be my
brother's brother, doesn't make us related, and he's like yeah,
but to make things weird though, it would be weird.
And she's like, it's fine, we're not like technically relatives.
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Like a steps like dating your step sibling. Yeah, yeah,
technically it's okay, but it's weird.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
It's weird. And he's like, let's not get too serious
until we find out, and she's like fine. So she
goes to meet with an accountant who tells her that
there's a lean on the house because Kirby took half
a mill out and didn't pay it back, so now
there's interest and I have to make payments on that
debt to pay it off before they ever saw the house,
and he.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Says, I'm curious, Like it's never said how much money
she got from her dad, but they make it seem
like it's like a lot, but then like during this part,
it's like it barely covers what you need.
Speaker 1 (08:30):
Well, she sold that whole ass house they had, so like, yeah,
I'm assuming she had a cup of mill you.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
Know, That's what I thought. But then it was like, oh,
you have enough to pay off that debt, and but
you only have barely enough to pay off the interest.
So like we have to get rid of like staff
or whatever.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Yeah, which I don't know. I'm assuming she has decent
she doesn't like work ever, so so they call it somehow. Yeah,
her mom got got no job and lend me go
got no.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Job jobs maybe, Like that's the math of it is
that it's like, okay for factoring in your monthly payments
and you're schooling, Like depending on how long she goes
to school, I mean she's gonna need quite a few years.
Speaker 1 (09:13):
So yeah she's gonna get a doctorate.
Speaker 2 (09:15):
Yeah wow, it'd be some hundreds of thousands.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
Nobody in this family wants to get a fucking job.
Crazy that her mom just never got a job afterwards.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Right, well she didn't really need to.
Speaker 1 (09:27):
I guess it's not she had that rent money, but
still whack whack. So yeah, the account is like you
she said to fire the staff and live through. Wait,
and she's like, well, maybe we should reconsider selling the house.
Because it's a big house for three people. Yeah, because
he's like, you know, that's kind of crazy for you
all three to live in the house. But she's like, Nope,
(09:47):
won't do that. He's like, okay, let me like do
the numbers for you to keep this mansion. You don't need.
So during her meeting with him, she also found out
that Kirby's still out there scamming wom and that he
was close to the eton so he could be Thatcher's
real daddy and there before going home, she stops by Sacks,
(10:10):
the store Sacks, Yeah, to get some toilet trees, which
is crazy because I don't think sacksify that Avenue is
selling toothpastes. They sell like dresses and purses.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
That's what the trees?
Speaker 1 (10:21):
Are you buying at Sacks? Is this a different sas?
What the fuck is going on?
Speaker 2 (10:26):
I don't know that.
Speaker 1 (10:27):
Maybe be so mad because I'm like, what, you maybe
buy a hairbrush maybe, but definitely you're not out there
buying a shampoo and conditioner at.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Sacks, not that I know of.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
Yeah, they're not selling you deodorant? What the fuck? Like crazy?
She does pick up a present for her mom though,
because they sell the type of things, like that they
sell scarves or shops wherever fuck she gets her mom,
they don't sell toilet trees. But anyways, on her way
to the car, though, she sees thatcher with a woman.
I think, so maybe it's a client. But then he
(10:59):
puts his hand on the woman's hand, and she's like
what the fuck And he looks out the whindow and
sees her but doesn't acknowledge her and just turns back
to the woman, which pisses Willow off.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Well, she killed me too, because when she's like the betrayal,
this is like the worst betrayal, Like she compares it
with sexual assault, and I'm like, girl, nah, exactly she.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
I mean, like his explanation for it does make sense,
Like he is a lawyer and he could be with
a client. He does do like divorce cases, so it's.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
Not that Still it's too convenient the way.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
He Yeah it is. I mean, like, obviously he's a
sketch dude, I'm not denying that. But she does overreact.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
She does overreact and then like instantly takes all of
his explanations like, yeah, she trust, trusting.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
Has wold emotions. Yeah, So she goes back home and
gives her mom like the gift and it's like, let's
get makeovers tomorrow, and her mom's like okay, sure. So
she's walking in her room, like to her room when
she sees Linden in his studio and he's like, we
need to get these paintings out of the gallery so
the people I painted stop whispering, and I was like,
(12:09):
what the fuck. Then she knows that he has slashed
all the paintings he had like stored in that room
and is like he's going crazy. He's like telling her
and her mom he's like, I don't know. He seemed
like the people are talking and like we should go somewhere,
like he's going wow. So she's like this is bad.
So she tells her mom and mom was like, maybe
(12:31):
we should get him out, but well I was like, no,
I will cure him myself. Dude thinks his paintings are talking,
but sure girl, he doesn't. Any meds you.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
The It's like the psychology out of here and.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
A sophomore psych student, you can fix it off more
underground set underground undergrad. That's about as much psych as
I took sophomore year. Because I told my two psyche classes.
Speaker 2 (12:53):
And the fact that like because her mom knows Linden
obviously a lot better than she does. She knows his
issues and like bros been on medication for like most
of his life. It sounds like and like a lot
of therapy. But she's like, okay, Willow, Yeah, I'll listen
to you and we'll we'll just not we'll just wait
and just see if he gets better.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
How it goes.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Yeah, like bruh, he's cut.
Speaker 1 (13:15):
Up, always painting since they were talking to him, but sure, Yeah.
She then gets a call from thatcher who has a
bad excuse for not saying hier earlier. He says, it's
a client, and honestly, I say, it's a bad excuse.
Now I think it's a fine excuse. It's fine.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
But the excuse is that it's a client who is
getting divorced, and so she was like hitting on him,
but he wasn't into it.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
He was like comforting her and like, yeah, you shouldn't
be like touching your clients. That's like ethically bad, but
it's not that crazy to be like with a client
and not say y to your girlfriend because you know,
there's confidentiality and stuff, like you're not gonna be also
you won't really be meeting with them in public, but
still like.
Speaker 2 (13:52):
Well he could have boot it or smiled at her though.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yes, but like I feel the client and be like
I'm sorry, are we not? Like I'm you right now.
I don't need you fording with your girlfriend while I'm
paying you well, but.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Like even like an acknowledgment and then just feeling like,
oh sorry that I saw someone I know, like fuck that. No,
I'd pissed at thatcher.
Speaker 1 (14:11):
As someone who works in law, I don't think that's crazy.
Crazy to be holding her hand out in public, sure,
but not crazy to be like, oh hold on, let
me pause my billible hours while I go to head
to my girlfriend.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
And I didn't say I know.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
I'm just saying, you know, this lady might be like
talking about how her horrible husband was like abusing her,
and you like look and smile out the window. Weird.
I'm just saying things get emotional. You don't want to
really interrupt that.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
I'm not denying that. But he's also at a public
cafe with her.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
I know.
Speaker 2 (14:44):
I know.
Speaker 1 (14:44):
If I'm saying they shouldn't be in public like that,
I'm just saying I get that, and I think Will
it is a psycho bitch. Anyways, so he invites her
to dinner and then I go to his friend's empty
beach house. After That's when I was like, red flag,
who's this friend?
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Right?
Speaker 1 (15:01):
She's like okay, sure, So she goes to meet him
at night at a cute little Italian restaurant where they
have a decent time. He doesn't want to talk about
any of the stuff going on their lives, just wants
to be chill. Yes, that is a red flag and
they also drink a bottle of champagne and a bottle
of wine. Kind of red flag, and then drives through
them to the front's beach house. They hook up afterwards,
singly in bed for a bit, Will falls asleep. She
(15:21):
wakes up. She hears sat her on the phone and
he hung someone that he cares about them and like
we'll be there tomorrow. Instantly She's like, who the fuck
are you talking to? And he's like, my mom obviously,
who wants will be up in the middle of the
night yelling at me about dumb shit. And I'm like
She's like, okay, that tracks, and it does. His mom
is crazy. Yeah, his story here, I like that could
be true. Honestly, it could be if my mom called
(15:44):
to tell me that I need to go my niece's
birthday party tomorrow and he's like, I really don't want
to go because these parties are fancy and elaborate, and like,
I'm just over that because it's like for a thirteen
year old and she's crazy. And then he says that
they should get back to her to her car because
at the restaurant, So he drives her back to the restaurant,
she goes home. Next morning. There's another red flag. They
never spend the night, yeah, which is weird. Yeah, but
(16:08):
the mom story I believe because his mom would be
calling him in the middle night going it's the most Yeah. Yeah,
he's just party rounds. You don't love me anymore? That
is his mom.
Speaker 2 (16:17):
That is funny.
Speaker 1 (16:19):
Yeah. So the next morning when it comes like and
when they're going to like eat breakfast, and he's like, actually,
nothing happened with a whole weird painting thing. And he's like, oh, hey, Willow,
when did you get here? And she's like a couple
of days we've been living here, Like what And it's like, oh,
that's chill, and it starts going to detail about once
he wants to have in a studio when they move
to the main house. He's being a little manic about
(16:39):
it though, like a little too detailed, so Willow is
hesitant to get her hopes up. He's, you know, having
a conversation and not talking about people talking to him,
so it's something. He then turns back to Ello and
was like, Hey, what the fuck wouldn't you get here?
And she's like, oh shit, this guy's crazy.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
But still no therapy, nope, no nothing, and is.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Like, hey, mom, I made appointments for makeovers, like for
this afternoon. I'm just gonna drop by my new school
and meet my advisor real quick, and then I'm gonna
come back and make you, like get lunch and then
go to salon. Her Mom's not excited about this at all,
but she's like okay, So well, goes to school, meets
her advisor. His name is Professor Fuentes, and he is
(17:20):
hot and doesn't have a wedding ring. She notes right away, okay, weird,
I've never done that to a professor about right, right,
Like I went I graduate from college without once noting
whether or not my teachers had a wedding ring.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Well, will your teacher's hot Spanish?
Speaker 1 (17:37):
Also your age? I guess he's Cuban, not Spanish.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
I couldn't remember, so I meant whatever I know.
Speaker 1 (17:48):
He's like, wow, I know of your dad. I hope
you like him, and she's like, I hope so too.
And it gives her a schedule and he's like. She's like,
oh my god, he's so forty. That should be a
bad thing. When she gets back home, her mom is
not ready to go, and she was like, I can't
do it. She's like, I can't change my hair because
then I'm changing who I am. She makes it a
big deal to get a haircut, and I'm like, y'all
(18:09):
are crazy.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
Right, Like, Okay, you don't want to do the whole
spa day, but like you can get a fucking haircut.
It's not She's like if I cut.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
My hair, I'm not the same person anymore.
Speaker 2 (18:18):
What right.
Speaker 1 (18:19):
I'm always like, okay, I won't force to get a haircut,
but you like still want to get lunch and she's like, no,
I made egg salad for Linden and I have to
watch him eat it. So I was like, okay, I
guess I'll have lunch with you guys. And she goes
to get Linden, who's on the beach, and she finds
him there. It's like, hey, mom has lunch ready, and
he's like, why'd you come back? And she's like, because
you guys are the only family I have and I
want to be close to. And he's like, well that's
(18:39):
your Wilmy were you He's dated other girls before, I
never married any of them. And I was like, okay,
which is like crazy theory, because people have always dated
other people before they get married, they never married them.
It's kind of like a common it's pretty common to
not marry everybody you date. But al right, it is
that's true Linden's world. He said he's dated other girls
(19:00):
and name married them.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
They're a whole never man, here's the thing that's that's
Maybe that's not his best argument, but Lynden does also
say like, yeah, he's used a lot of girls and
he do this and this, and then also like he's
like him and his friends fucking bullied me all the time,
and she's like, you were a kid. Then it's different.
Speaker 1 (19:19):
He's a boy. She should take more of a red foot.
I think she doesn't really examine that.
Speaker 2 (19:24):
She's like, he's crazy. I don't need to listen to
what he's this.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
But also Lindon is crazy, so maybe don't listen to
what he says. Well, I feel like getterier motives because
he wants to fuck his sister.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
I mean definitely, but that doesn't mean what he's saying
isn't true.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
Yeah, but he also said his pancakes were talking to him,
so I really probably would also ignore him.
Speaker 2 (19:46):
Just saying, hey, write it down, guys, Sydney's on the
side of the cheet or.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Hey over Linden. Yeah. If I hauld pick between the two,
I'm picking thatcher.
Speaker 2 (19:56):
I mean, yeah, but he's not that's he's perfect.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
But if I have to pick aside, I'm on the
right side. Whatever. Anyways, he's like, what do you think
of this painting I'm working on? She looks at it.
It's a blank canvas and she's like, I don't know
yet killed me. Yeah. She's like, let's see. I'm gonna
see a more finish before I can make an opinion.
He's like, okay, fine.
Speaker 2 (20:20):
Because also every time she talks to him, she's like,
I can't set him off or he'll have like a
complete fucking breakdown.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
Yeah, and I'm like, girl, he's painting blank canvas, is
asking you what you think. I like to think that
he's fucking with her, so you have.
Speaker 2 (20:32):
Far I thought too, let's see if she white.
Speaker 1 (20:34):
Campuses like he's fucking with her. I guess that's crazy, right.
Speaker 2 (20:38):
And she's like I can't tell you, and he's like clever,
like yeah he was. I definitely think that part.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
Yeah. After lunch, Wilo goes to salon alone and the
receptionist is madgic, just canceling her mom's appointments. So Little
argues with her until the owner comes over and it's
like sorry about that, Like, I'm gonna do your hair
because I'm the owner, so you're welcome. And he takes
a look at her hair and it is like, okay,
let's do a wash in a treatment and then we'll
cut it and will. It was like shocked that he
(21:06):
suggests cutting her hair and he's like, yeah, don't you
want to get a new haircut? You're at a hair salon,
that's what people do. And she's like, I guess, sure,
what was your plan here? Girl? We're you ging a blowout?
Only I don't get what you like salons are. So
then he calls the girl over to wash her hair,
and the girl starts to bitch about him because he's
(21:27):
her dad and makes her work there, and then she's
asked about Willow and is like and little like tells
her where she lives and stuff. She's like, oh you
must know the Eatons. That's your's fiance was just in
here the other day to get her hair done, and
well was like, a bitch, what did you say? So
the girl brings to her paper and it's like, see
it's in the paper, and the paper says that Vera
Raymond is expecting that Cher to propose, so therefore not
(21:47):
his fiance. She thinks he's kinda she's gonna be yeah,
still a bad look. So Billa is fucking pissed. And
the girl's like, are you related to thatcher? Because you
know they have to sum my address and Bill was like,
shut up and do you your job. Yeah, just asking questions.
So once the girl's done washing the like her hair
says comes back and it's like, okay, let's stop about
(22:08):
like what kind of cut you want? And I was like,
you're not gonna fucking cut my hair and goes and walks.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
Out and stopping wet hair, yeah, and.
Speaker 1 (22:15):
She's like, how much do I owe you? And he's like, girl,
your hair's so wet. And she's like, okay, fine, send
me a bill and leaves. She's being a.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
Bitch and then drives like a fucking crazy person.
Speaker 1 (22:25):
She gets in our car, cuts someone off, immediately starts.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Totally legally blonde style, you know, when she drives off
to go to the salon and like cuts a bunch
of people off, that's what very blonde.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Yeah, but yes, she's drive me out crazy. She slams
on her brakes for a red light. A gopa seeing
all of this, and it's like, hey, girl, let me
see your license in registration. She gives it to him
and he's like, oh, you're visiting from South Carolina and
she's like no, I just moved here. And he's like okay,
well where do you live? She tells him and he's
like okay. He walks to his car. He comes back,
gives her stuff back and he's like, drive careful please.
Normally I want to give you a ticket, but I
(23:00):
to thatcher he said, you're chill. He walks away and
she starts to yell for him to come back and
give her a ticket because she doesn't want any favors
from thatcher. Yeah, and he's like.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
No, I'm not going to just ignores her.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
Better behave out their dog.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
I know you're talking to Chernobyl, but it sounds like
like that's what you were saying. The top said to her,
you should have walked you better behave out their dog.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
That's what he should have said. Honestly, that's so much
funn here. You've been calling me dog a lot. I
don't know why. Anyways, So she stops at the beach
on her way back home to like calm down because
she's a fucking mess. Yeah. When she gets home, though,
her mom can instantly tell something's wrong. But we'll try
and be chill about it. And she's like, hey, that's
(23:47):
been calling for you mos, like just stay I'm not home.
He calls again. Her mom answers and it's like sorry
she ain't here. But Will was like, my mom isn't
like lying about it. She feels bad. Will goes for
a walk that your friends are on the beach because
once again they live on the same property.
Speaker 2 (24:01):
Right, what does she expect?
Speaker 1 (24:03):
She tries to dumb the fuck off. But he's like, no,
tell me what's up. Like, I heard you freaked out
at the Swan. She's like, oh, yeah, I did, because
I found out you're engaged. And he's like, well, I
didn't know I was engaged. What the fuck. And he's like,
my mom and my sister were the ones who were
like spreading that around. They want me to marry this lady.
But like, we're really like, there's nothing there. And then
he pulls on a Tiffany's box hands and Willow, no,
this is a red flag. Okay, I'll give you this one.
(24:25):
This is a bit crazy. Yeah, and he's like, hey, girl,
I only love you. She opens a box. It's a
fucking engagement ring and I was like, is this an
engagement ring. He's like, duh, we've known each other for
a month. Maybe right, it is an engagement ring. And
he's like I love you and I want to only
be with you, and she's like, oh my god, I
love you too. Girls over instantly this has fixed everything
for her. Yeah, and he's like there's only one thing though,
(24:48):
don't tell anyone about this yet. And I was like
wait what and he's like, well, you know, like things
are still a little wild right now, so it's like
best to just like get that cleared up first. And
I was like less excited, and I was like, Okay,
maybe you should take this ring back and get to
me when we can like be public about him.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
Yeah, because he's like, just take the ring. You just
can't wear it.
Speaker 1 (25:05):
Yeah, just like, don't wear it, don't tell anyone. She's like,
don't love hearing that, yeah, and he does a love
hearing that she wants to give it back. He's like, fine, okay, uh,
and he has to go and Willa goes and gets
up to go back to the house, but she sees London.
He was watching the whole thing. He's pissed off, and
he's like, I'm glad to give the ring back, and
she's like and then he says that like Thatcher is
always with dumb horse who fall for him, and he's
(25:26):
just using wellbigad who his family be able to stay
in the house, and it was like people grow up
and also he's not like that, but then changes his
subject and takes London.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
But like he also like tells us I forget what exactly.
He's like, I've seen him lots of times taking girls out.
I think he says, like taking him out on his boat,
and it's a different girl every time. But but boof
insinuating that he like goes and fox him or whatever.
And literally Thatcher did that with Willow, like took her
out on a boat and sucked her on the boat.
And I'm like, you let him live his life. Geez, listen.
(25:58):
I'm not saying he can't fuck bitches on boat boats,
but I'm saying there's a tiny bit of truth in
what Lindon is saying that she rushes off.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
People are allowed to have a past before they get.
Speaker 2 (26:08):
Married at passions, Like his passion is fucking bitches and boats.
That's what he's let.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Him have his hobbies.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
God, men can not even have hobbies nowadays.
Speaker 1 (26:20):
I know Lindon honestly is just jealous that he didn't
get a fuck on that boat.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
But whatever, yeah, whatever.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
He's like, I wanted to fuck my sister on that boat.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
I wanted to fuck her on that boat.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
But yeah. So she spends the next day like getting
her books for her classes, So she drives campus, gets
a pile of books just for some just for fun.
They're like textbooks.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
She's got reading on the side.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
Yeah. She runs into a professor there and he helps
carry her books. It's like, hey, want to get lunch
with me? No, don't do that. But he's like, I'm
such a big fan of your dad. I would love
to talk to you if you don't mind. So she's like,
fuck it, why not. They go to this little Mexican restaurant.
This man uses three Spanish words and hated the Spanish
in this book.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
Right, and then she's like, I know three Spanish words too.
Speaker 1 (27:05):
Yeah. Well, she's like, oh my god, it's so exotic,
Like that's so crazy that he knows how I say
like thank you in Spanish. Wow. He really is like ohah.
And she's like, oh my god, I can't believe he
speaks spani Like a.
Speaker 2 (27:18):
Language is to be impressed by. It should not be
Spanish or Portuguese. Really, like you had a Portuguese nanny,
girl like.
Speaker 1 (27:25):
Yeah, you speaks Portuguese. This man he's in Florida speaking
Spanish that I ain't crazy. Yeah, he's like, my fami's
from Cuba. Also, I'm only twenty eight but graduated early
from high school and in college and I'm like, bitch's twenty
eight and she's I guess she's getting with her mom,
but like fully thought he was in his forties right,
(27:46):
So then he's like, hey, are you dating an heone?
And she's like yeah, it's kind of complicated, and he's like, okay, cool,
don't ask your students.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
That what the fuck not in this is all before
she even takes a like goes to a single class.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
Yeah, weird to do this. Don't do this, and then
she's like yeh, yeah, I go. So she thanks him
for lunch heads home. When she gets home, her mom
is like, hey, guess what. I just talked to Thatcher
and his parents found a new place and are gonna
be moving out like sooner than expected. And we was like, oh,
that's fucking dope. And then she gets sure sure yeah
herself gets a call from Thatcher and he's like, hey,
I got good news. I'm meeting up with Kirby Scott
(28:19):
and I'm gonna confront him and if things go well,
we won't have to hide our engagement any longer. And
it's like, wow, that was so fast, because that was
yesterday that we talked about this, and he's like, yeah,
I'm seeing him like tomorrow, so I let you know
how it goes. Yeah, next day she gets a call
from me. He's like, guess what, bitch, we're going public tonight.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
That man my father.
Speaker 1 (28:37):
Yeah, I's like my mom and my sister are total
fucking liars. Kirby's not my dad. He's just like everybody
described though, he is a piece of shit. But he's
like not my daddy though, So we got no ways.
She's announcing our engagement and we're gonna be super fun
in public, like so public about it, and she's excited
but also nervous. She gets all dressed up and that
she takes her to this fancy restaurant that's like super popular.
(28:59):
This second day walk, everyone's paying attention to them. People
are like coming up to them, and he's introducing Willow
West's fiance and he's like, oh my god, this is
such good gossip. So she instantly is the top of
the town. Yep, he's a little overwhelmed with all the attention,
but it doesn't face thatcher and by the time they
make it back home, word has reached his mom and sister.
They aren't happy him and will decide on getting married
(29:20):
that June, which is only like a few months away,
and he does this because there's a specific honeymoon's walk
he wants to go do, and like they have to
go that dime a year or whatever.
Speaker 2 (29:27):
Yeah, and she's like, oh, my trimester of school will
be over then, so that works.
Speaker 1 (29:32):
Yeah. And they also have to have a big wedding
because his mom wouldn't even let him have like a
small wedding. It's impossible. So they're gonna be like seven
hundred people there at least.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
Mom is in charge of planning immediately, like she's on
top of it, and has Willow and her mom come
over to like go over things. She has hired our
personal assistant just for this planning, right, which might seem crazy,
but as someone who's planned a wedding, you know what,
love it good for her? Yeah, do it we can.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
Girl is there to take notes and keep it all organized.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
So she tells Hellow like what she thinks is west
and will was like, honestly, like this is a lot,
Like I don't care, so like I don't care about
most of this. Just pick what you think is best,
because well, Bunny might be crazy. She doesn't how to
throw a party, and I'm like, yeah, let Bunny just
do this whole thing and.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
Wants to do it. Let her do it.
Speaker 1 (30:18):
She wants to do it, you don't want to, and
Bunny's gonna know what to do, like She's gonna make
it nice. Yeah, And the only thing will wants to
make her own choice hon is her dress understandable. So
she makes an appointment for her her mom go dress shopping.
Her mom is like so happy to be there since
she never got to do this whole thing herself, and
they find a dress that they both think there's like perfect,
(30:39):
and they're like, okay, we need address for mom.
Speaker 2 (30:40):
But Grace also thought it was wild that it's just
other women are just trying on the dress and showing
her and then she's going, yeah, that looks good. She
doesn't try on a single dress.
Speaker 1 (30:51):
And it's crazy and they're.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
Like, oh, what an exhausting day. And I'm like, you
watched other people try on dresses. That's not It's gonna
take a while, but.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
I mean, yeah, people shopping not exhausting. Move on, bitch.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:08):
But they're like, need a dress for her mom, but
Gracey's like unsure what to wear. So Willow it picks
up like some mapp's for her mom to try it
at home because her mom could like not possibly try
on stuff out in public. That's crazy crazy Thatcher calls
the house and asks to talk to Lindon and it
was like why and he's like, I want Linden to
be my best man and she's like, oh, that's such
a great idea. So she gives her brother the phone
(31:30):
and he's like, I guess, which I think is sweet
but also weird. He hangs up and it's like something
is sess but about that, but will tells him like
she didn't even ask that she to do it. She's like,
I didn't make him do this like that she doesn't
have some people plan.
Speaker 2 (31:48):
He's trying to build a relationship.
Speaker 1 (31:50):
Yeah, he almost thought he thought you were his brother
for a bit, so make maybe He's like, you know, still.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
On that right.
Speaker 1 (31:56):
Oh, She's like, don't worry, I'll help you pick out
a suit and money. All mentioned that Willow needs at
least twelve bridesmaids and she's like, I have zero friends.
Speaker 2 (32:04):
I think she says between four and twelve, which is
so weirdly specific and not but she and Will's like,
I don't have friends.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
He has no friends, not one friend, No friends.
Speaker 2 (32:16):
No family.
Speaker 1 (32:18):
Yeah, like girls. She's like, I have a cousin that
I don't like.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
Yeah, literally, how does she not have any friends?
Speaker 1 (32:26):
Lose? It?
Speaker 2 (32:27):
Never really that many.
Speaker 1 (32:30):
But he's like, no worries, I picked some girls for you.
Everyone's gonna be a part of this wedding. So like,
I'll just call some girls up I think are going
to be right. She's hiring her bridesmaids.
Speaker 2 (32:38):
She's like, everyone's gonna want to be in this wedding.
Don't worry. I'll be able to find some girls.
Speaker 1 (32:43):
Trust me, they'll be begging for it. You don't have
to know your bridesmaids. So during all this dealing with
getting ready to move into the main house and getting
ready for school, a new classes start. Her first classes was, oh,
it's his name, Flora's not fut No, it's funny. Yeah,
I rete professor Flores here. Wow, I'm the racist, I guess. Wow,
Well wentest makes me think Nick Quintes, who is a
(33:05):
literal racist. So I don't know.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
Well, this is Miguel Flint so.
Speaker 1 (33:10):
Maybe related, maybe not. He treats her special and she
loves all of her classes instantly. She even makes friends
with two twins, so she also like kind of seems
to hate and she tells Win I keep writting Flores.
Are you sure they didn't change the name.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
I am very sure.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
I'm not sure because I've I guess. But she's like,
I want to like study these girls because they're so weird. Yea,
I wonder you have no friends. You're such a bitch god,
and we'll talk about it. But the way they talk
about women in these books kills me. I mean that's
typical VC Andrews ghostwriter.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (33:49):
Wow, the guy doesn't know women. But she gets lunch
with Thatcher's sister, Whitney, who tells her like I'm gonna
throw You'll be a baby shower, no bridal shower. But
she's super welcoming to a family about it. Will has
always been.
Speaker 2 (34:02):
Whitney's also like, I've protected Thatcher from these other bitches
that tried to tie him down, and I was like.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
Of a psycho bitch. Yeah, when you get out of
your brother's love life, that's weird. That's weird as someone
who else has a brother. Never have I once been
invested in that. Yeah, same imagine imagine like deciding he
your brother should date.
Speaker 2 (34:24):
Listen, I've definitely hated some girls that my brothers have dated,
but I didn't do anything about it get involved.
Speaker 1 (34:30):
Yeah, yeah, have I always been like that's great choice. No,
But do I say anything to know what? Why?
Speaker 2 (34:38):
Not until they break up and then I say what
we've all been thinking, and that he agrees.
Speaker 1 (34:45):
Be like you had to bring up with my brother
because I don't think you're a good fit. What. Yeah.
Will's was making invites from all the town people now
that she's pretty much famous. So one of these invites
is to this exclusive club to hang out with some
woman kind of around her age, and that just like
you should go because this club's like a big deal,
and she's like, fuck it, okay, so she goes.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
They are it's a club that they only allowed ten
people to join a year, and there's like you have
to pay ten thousand dollars to apply and then there's
a bunch of dudes once you do join, so it's
like it's really legit. So to even be invited to
go there by a member is like insane.
Speaker 1 (35:22):
Yeah, and I'm like, yeah, you should go to this club. Yeah?
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Why oh?
Speaker 1 (35:27):
She takes this off rop but you could say they're
like three four women there. I don't know. Yeah, and
they're like all drinking Cosmos, which made me think of
fucking whatever that book was, why they should just mentioned
cosmos every day?
Speaker 2 (35:38):
Oh yeah, the Lucy and the sky.
Speaker 1 (35:40):
Yeah, say they drink off yeah Cosmos. And they're like,
we aren't just a group of friends, we're actually spies.
And so they tell her that they're all like they
all are have been married, and they're all part of
a slightly different social group. So when they go to parties,
they get during each other's spouses, so they approve that
they're being unfaithful if they needed that for like their divorce. Yeah,
well I was like, that's fucked. Don't you guys love
(36:02):
your husband's And they're like no, not really, that's stupid
of me to ask. And what was like, well, I
trust stature, but I'm like, obviously you don't. Girl, You've
gotten jealous every time you see anything right. You don't
trust him and you shouldn't. But like, okay, Jedgie, she's like,
I don't need people spying on him, and they're like
a girl, there is no such thing as a trustworthy man.
(36:23):
You should join our group, and she's like okay, I'll
think about it.
Speaker 2 (36:27):
Like, I'll let you know God and we'll get into it. Well,
I don't know if I'll mention it later. But Willow
was so, you know, this is written by a man
because she's so not all men I know.
Speaker 1 (36:38):
And I'm like, these girls are sick.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
Okay, betrays her. She's like, not all men.
Speaker 1 (36:45):
Yeah, these girls are like private eyes out there keeping
like really just looking out for each other. There being
you know, girls, girls, And she's like, mmm, I'm a
pick me girl, so you know what, I don't like you.
Speaker 2 (36:57):
She's such a fucking pick me too. That is such
a perfec description of her. Okay. Yeah, So Willow's bridal
shower is gonna be at Whitney's house. She like insisted
on hosting it for whatever reason. And Whitney's house is
basically like a fucking personal resort. It's huge, and Willow
(37:18):
is like, it's basically yeah, it's like her own hotel
and everyone's there to serve her. And I call her
mom Grace the entire time. So Grace had told her
that when she first came to I want to say,
Palm Springs so bad. What is it? It's not palm
Palm Beach. Yeah. When when she first moved to Palm Beach,
(37:40):
her mom had told her like, don't look in awe
or surprised or anything. Don't look impressed at anyone's houses.
You have to act really nonchalant. So Willow's going into
Whitney's house like holy fucking shit, but she's acting like no,
this is whatever, like I'm not impressed. And also they're
greeted by Whitney's daughter, Laurel, and she seems like a
(38:03):
really nice girl, and Willa's like nice to her, and
she's like are you my aunt now? Like should I
call you aunt? And Willa's like I don't care. And
then Whitney's really mean to her daughter because she won't
let her come to the Bridle shower, which I felt
kind of bad about because her daughter's like grown up,
like she's a grown woman.
Speaker 1 (38:18):
No, her daughter's thirteen?
Speaker 2 (38:20):
Oh is she only thirteen? I thought she was grown?
Speaker 1 (38:22):
Thirteenth birthday party?
Speaker 2 (38:23):
Ah, Okay, then I don't feel as bad about Yeah,
I don't think she shouldn't be there. Yeah whatever. So
she gets there, there's a bunch of women sitting around
a table, and Whitney's like, well, they also have a
throne for Willow to sit out, which she's like, okay,
and she Whitney tells her, okay, like everyone, we're gonna
do introductions and everyone wrote down a piece of advice,
(38:46):
a piece of like marriage advice, and you're gonna read
them out loud and we'll guess who said it, and
that'll like let you know people's personalities or whatever. And
she's like that's weird, but okay, She's like, can we
do it normal? And Whitney's like they already wrote the
answers down, so no.
Speaker 1 (39:03):
So I mean like she is acting like the Whitney's
an evil bitch for this, but she just made like
this fun little game for them to play. It's not
that crazy of an idea for like a game. I
don't know why I will it was acting like this
is the most evil, psychotic thing anyone has ever done.
Speaker 2 (39:17):
She just hates Whitney already, which I mean she's not
wrong about, but.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
Yeah, he's a little crazy, but like, also, this isn't
that weird. This is like a pretty pre chill, normal game, right,
funny thing they're doing, but she instantly like offended.
Speaker 2 (39:33):
By it, right, yeah, And so like she reads through
a couple of them. They some people she's introduced to
a couple of people. One of them is like, every
once in a while, like where your husband's pajamas to
bed and have him wear your nightgowns like it spices
things up. That one hilarious, loved it, and that woman
(39:53):
stayed with her husband until he died, so like that
was a.
Speaker 1 (39:56):
Good seven year old lady who's like, yeah, yeah, these people,
like most of these answers, like the kind of things
like you would have on here, like yeah, like funny
you know joke.
Speaker 2 (40:09):
There's one that's like whenever, whenever he pisses me off,
I go and spend a bunch of his money. And
then she's like, I'm on my third husband, and this
one's catching on quicker than the other.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
Yeah, Like they're just like funny little they're like real housewives,
Like this is real much, but you know what, it's fun.
I'd watch it.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
Mm hmm yeah. And then they get to one that
it's like when you're having sex, like fake a bunch
of orgasms to like help his ego, and everyone's like,
oh my god, whose husband sucks in bed? And no
one admits to like who wrote it? And so Willa's like, okay,
like maybe we should do something else, but Whitney is like, no,
(40:46):
we're gonna find out who fucking confessed. You wrote it down,
you can tell us who it is. And then like
no one says anything, and she's like, okay, when we leave.
When we leave, everyone write down who you think it
was and then we'll discuss later. And Willa was like, no,
let's not.
Speaker 1 (41:04):
Yeah, when it gets a little crazy when nobody says anything,
but I'm most like, why would you write that down
and not be prepared to admit it to you? It's
not even that crazy. That's like a kind of a normal,
Like that's not that wild.
Speaker 2 (41:15):
Right, that's what I would expect from those types of women.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
Yeah, it's not like you should murder your husband. Like what, No, it's.
Speaker 2 (41:22):
Right because this is also a place like where we
know young women go to marry old dudes. So it's
like that feels like that's not insane for them to
say that kind of shit.
Speaker 1 (41:31):
I expected it to be in there, like why is
this so crazy?
Speaker 2 (41:35):
But whatever, they move on to like go open gifts.
She gets a whole bunch of gifts Thatcher drops by,
and he's like laid on them gifts, I gotta go
do more work and then leaves again. And so whatever
the Eatons are finally like moving out of the house.
They move out on your birthday, or they're supposed to
move out on your birthday at least. Wow, I know,
(41:57):
I wrote it down, That's how I know. And so
they they've got all their stuff moved out, they're like
obviously gonna clean the place up, like Linden's like we
need to sanitize when they leave. But Grace is like
Bunny's gonna have someone clean, like she's not gonna leave
it dirty. She's not like that, which like true. Also
(42:18):
they have like maids and stuff, so it's not like
they're actually doing anything.
Speaker 1 (42:21):
I know. I'm like, why do what do you think
they're like trashing the place before they.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
Go, right, It doesn't make no sense. And so because
of the downsizing and everything, they're cutting the staffing down
to just like two maids and jennings because like they're
not gonna need everyone since it's not gonna be like
a bunch of parties and everything. And I think this
is also well it comes up later, but like Thatcher
says that like he'll pay for that like once they
(42:46):
get married and everything, so like she's not worried about it.
And then Thatcher invites Lynden to his bachelor party since
he's gonna be his best man or whatever, and Lynden
really doesn't want to go, but Willa was like, you
should like get out and do things, make friends, but
like you can't drink because of your medication because he's
still on medicine from his boat crash and everything, or
(43:08):
maybe they're just a normal meds. I don't know, but
so Lyndon's gonna do that. And also he told Willow
that he's gonna paint her a picture for the wedding present,
and she's like, well, isn't it for me and Thatcher
and he's like, I guess again.
Speaker 1 (43:25):
That's about this. Immediately when he's like sure.
Speaker 2 (43:29):
Yeah, both of you, and he's like, I'm gonna do
what this there's this artist and when he he also
previously has said that like painting realistic portraits is stupid
and if you're gonna do that, like just use a camera.
But now he's like, I'm going to paint a portrait
of you, and I'm going to take a bunch of
pictures of you like this other artist did, and I'm
(43:50):
gonna take all these candid pictures so I can really
like capture your image and she's like okay, And that
way she doesn't have to like pose for him since
she's like in school and stuff. And she's like, well,
when are you gonna do it? And he's like, you're
not gonna know, Like you won't even know I'm taking
these pictures. And she's just like, okay.
Speaker 1 (44:08):
Tying on you, no proms, just like a fucking private investigator,
and which.
Speaker 2 (44:12):
Is great, love that you have a project. And then
like it's almost time for like finals or whatever, and
so she has her little college friends come over, which
is the Twins, and this guy that's obviously in love
with her and his name is Holden, and so she
introduces Lyndon to the twins, hoping that he'll hit it
(44:35):
off with one of them, but he's weird and doesn't
care about them because he's obsessed with his sister. So
like that doesn't work, obviously, and then he leaves.
Speaker 1 (44:44):
You know why she thought it would. Your brother's a
fucking freak. I'm sorry, nobody's gonna like him. He's weird
around people. Why would you think these girls would be
and the girls try why would.
Speaker 2 (44:53):
You think one of the girls is into him? So yeah,
she's like, oh he's.
Speaker 1 (44:56):
Cute and like she's trying to talk to him, and
he's like, fuck you, dumbhore.
Speaker 2 (44:59):
He's gotta go oh.
Speaker 1 (45:02):
Great.
Speaker 2 (45:03):
Yeah. So then the girls leave and Holden is like, oh, Willow,
can I like talk to you, like, can we go
for a walk or some shit, because like he makes
a comment about like her living on the beach and
how if he lived on the beach he'd walk every
day or some shit, and she's like, well yeah, but
then like you get too much sun that's not good
for you. She talks a lot like sunburn does come
(45:24):
up like three or four times in this book. I
was surprised. But he she's like, do you want to,
like we can like go on a walk, And so
they go on a walk on the beach together. Like
I said, he's obviously in love with her, so and
she knows that he's in love with her also because
his mom was at her bridal shower and was like, Oh,
I'm Holden's mom. I've heard about you. When when he
(45:46):
found out you were engaged, he went into this like
terrible depression. But like whatever, why.
Speaker 1 (45:52):
Is only sech goes like her? See, this is why
I'm like Thatcher's chill. You know who doesn't do that
that there's a normal fund dude. These guys are like
Sue title, he is her most Yeah, like these guys
are stalker level, like instantly crazy and that's just like
you know, a fuck boy. But sure he's having the.
Speaker 2 (46:11):
Biggest flaws, the lying fuck boy at all.
Speaker 1 (46:14):
Yeah, he's a man who shouldn't be in a relationship. Yes,
but he's chill, he's fun, he's.
Speaker 2 (46:19):
Right, and that's the red flag too. Is that? How
many relationships and everyone's going, Oh, no one ever thought
he was gonna get tied down and now here you
are tying him down after what four months?
Speaker 1 (46:29):
Like I don't know if it didn't go so quickly,
but like people do change and they do end up
with people you do.
Speaker 2 (46:35):
True, it's true.
Speaker 1 (46:36):
It doesn't married have also never been married before? Yeah, times,
you know, you do get married for the first time. Eventually.
Speaker 2 (46:43):
Dad and Michelle got married within a year of meeting
each other, and here they are, like twenty years later,
doing fine. So it does work. I'm not denying it.
Speaker 1 (46:53):
Your dad probably wasn't fucking around with everyone, though, I'm
gonna say I probably will I'm gonna hope.
Speaker 2 (46:58):
Not sure which girl will be heartbroken anyways, So she's
on this walk with this guy Holden, and he starts
talking about like how it's hard to like date because
his mom taught him to notice like lollipop girls, as
he calls them, And he calls the twins lollipop girls
(47:19):
because they just have candy in their head. They have
no like actual thoughts, but like.
Speaker 1 (47:23):
Girl's taking the same classes as you, in the same
fucking college as you. You're so much better than them.
Speaker 2 (47:28):
Yeah, but not Willow. Willow is like intellectual and smart.
And then he starts saying like why are you even
with thatcher, Like he's nothing, Like we have so much
more in common. You should be with me. I'm a
better option for you. And she's like okay, like I'm engaged,
Like no, thank you. So then he grabs her and
forcibly kisses her and then like sticks his tongue in
her mouth like crazy shit, and she's like, oh my god,
(47:51):
I can't fight this guy off. I didn't think he
was that strong. Luckily, Lindon shows up punches bro in
the face and she is like, my Savi, you're Lindon thing.
Thank you for being here, and that means a lot
to Lindon. He's not gonna forget about that. But oh, good.
Speaker 1 (48:07):
Brother, brother, my brother, thank you brother.
Speaker 2 (48:10):
She's like, my protective older brother. Just what I needed.
And he's like, yes, just what you needed. So this
one time it's good Linden is there. But then it's
time for Thatcher's bachelor party and Linden does go and
they're like okay, like, don't let him drink, be nice
to him. Whatever. Willow goes to bed, she is awoken
(48:32):
to her mom's scurreaming because Thatcher brings home a passed
out Lindon who has blood coming out of his nose.
Thatcher's super drunk. So like when Willow's trying to ask
what happened, because she's like, hey, he was not supposed
to drink and he is obviously fucking drunk, and Thatcher's like, no,
he did great, and one loved him. He's one of
the boys, Like he did so good. He didn't embarrass me,
(48:55):
and she's like okay.
Speaker 1 (48:57):
Oh, I mean, what did she expect Thatcher? He does
a good point. He's like, you know, I lost track
of him. It kind of was crazy. People were giving
me super drunk.
Speaker 2 (49:05):
There was a bunch of dudes like yeah, like Linden,
your pressure.
Speaker 1 (49:09):
Yeah, Also, what is he gonna do? Would be there
sober with a bunch of guys whos and now it's
fucking stupid he has to get drunk, but like, yeah,
he would be so uncomfortable. You have to drink. What
You're not gonna be sober.
Speaker 2 (49:22):
With strangers if you're trying to make friends, Like yeah,
like he's a real weirdo.
Speaker 1 (49:26):
He's gonna have to get drunk. Girls, nothing's gonna it's
gonna be a terrible night for everyone.
Speaker 2 (49:32):
Yeah. So in the morning, she goes to check on
Lindon and she finds a stack of pictures of her
on his dresser and she goes through them and there's
a bunch of like her studying or like walking or
like whatever. And then she finds a bunch of her
like changing and being naked and sitting on the toilet,
and she's like, so fucking.
Speaker 1 (49:53):
I'm sorry, you're taking pictures from going to the bathroom?
Speaker 2 (49:55):
What the literally? I was like, how do you get
a picture of her poop.
Speaker 1 (49:58):
And yeah, that's just like she's gonna where is he hiding?
Speaker 2 (50:03):
Do not know? Is she's just the most oblivious pitch
in the world. Listen, I'm not victim blaming here, but
like the way it's described because you think he's like
standing in the doorway, well and like some no, because
not even at this point the picture stuff hasn't happened yet.
None of this can be explained. It's never explained how
he did this without her realizing came. Some of them
(50:25):
could be like he was outside peeking through her window,
I guess, But like the bathroom ones, is she pooping
with the door open, peeing whatever?
Speaker 1 (50:34):
But still I'm sure it's a little bit of both. Okay,
I don't think he checked to make.
Speaker 2 (50:38):
Sure in front of the door, like I don't he.
Speaker 1 (50:41):
Has to have like a hidden camera in the bathroom.
Speaker 2 (50:44):
It's whatever she leaves the pictures there, which I was like, girl,
because she's like, I don't want to make a big
deal out of this. I don't want to stress him out.
I obviously cannot tell my mom or thatcher about this
because I don't want them to freak out, which I'm like, Okay,
(51:04):
here's the thing I could maybe here's the thing. I
don't want to excuse her not telling anyone, but I
can understand why she wouldn't want to tell Thatcher because
that could get violent, But like, you should at least
tell your mom. Like the fact that she doesn't tell
anyone about any of the ship bothers me so much.
Speaker 1 (51:23):
No. Yes, And also Thatcher has never actually been violent before,
so she's no reason to think he would be.
Speaker 2 (51:29):
She's just scared. I think that he would. He wants
to institutionalize Linden already, and this would obviously be a
pretty good argument for that.
Speaker 1 (51:38):
Yeah, she just doesn't want them to not do what
she wants. And I'm like, girl, you should tell people
because these pictures are concerning, and when if he's doing
this to other people, this is illegal. You know, he's
committing crimes here.
Speaker 2 (51:48):
Yeah. Yeah, And she's literally like, I'm gonna leave him
there and I'll talk to him about it later. And
when she does talk to him about it, he's like, well,
what's the big deal. I told you I was gonna
do it. She doesn't even take the pictures at this point,
she lets him keep them. She didn't ask for him
or nothing. She's just like, I didn't like, I don't
like you did that. That's it.
Speaker 1 (52:09):
He's like, well I told you. She's like, well, you
didn't tell me you're gonna do bathroom once.
Speaker 2 (52:12):
Ye's oh, why do you need me on the toilet,
and he's like a needle sides of you. I don't
even know what he says, but like, yeah, ridiculous, like
I'm done with them now, and I'm like, why didn't
she ask for them back?
Speaker 1 (52:25):
Like I don't burn those bitches.
Speaker 2 (52:27):
But like, okay. So then five days before the wedding
Thatcher tells her he wants a prenup, which like the
Love Club girls. That's the group of girls that spy
on their husband. They call themselves the Love Club. Well
they call themselves Club a Moore or whatever, but it's
the Love Club. They had said Thatcher was going to
go for a prenup, but Willa was like, no, we're
in love. He would never ask me for a prenup.
(52:50):
But he does, and this pisses her off. She's mad
that he wants to.
Speaker 1 (52:53):
Explanation is valid though, because he's like, I'm a lawyer
who does divorces. It would look stupid if I didn't
need a prenup. I'm from a rich family. I tell
all my clients to get a prenup. I would be
kind of a hypocrite.
Speaker 2 (53:05):
That's the thing is, I don't think it's bad, Like
it makes sense, especially they both have a sizeable amount
of money and assets that it's like, if something goes bad,
you want to be prepared, Like, yeah, you don't want
to believe, not my marriage. But it's like, just be real, I.
Speaker 1 (53:20):
Am, I've never had it. Everybody should get a prenup.
Speaker 2 (53:24):
Yeah, if you don't get divorced, okay, it's never an issue.
Speaker 1 (53:27):
But if you people are so prenups don't be It
just makes sense, Like nobody who's getting Most people aren't
getting married thinking they're gonna get divorced, but you know,
fucking happens a lot. So I'm saying, mad a bad prenup. Also,
he is a lawyer, he should get a prenup.
Speaker 2 (53:46):
It is weird he waited this long to do it,
but he.
Speaker 1 (53:49):
Did bring it on her last minute, which is sis.
Speaker 2 (53:51):
Yeah, and she's all mad about it, but he gives
it to her and so to be like snarky about it,
She's like, well, I'll send it to my lawyer and
have him look it over. And he is like surprised
by that, but he's like okay, and go for it.
Speaker 1 (54:07):
That is what most people do, you know, each lawyer
person gets a lawyer and each lay looks at it.
Speaker 2 (54:13):
Yeah. Well he definitely didn't expect her to do that though,
but like yeah, So then the next day she goes
and picks up a move from the airport. Because girls
come to the wedding excited. Everyone's excited. And so she
finally gets to meet Grace and it's really cute because
Grace is like, thank you for raising my daughter, and
Amu is like, she's fucking great, I love your daughter.
(54:34):
And it's cute her moms love each other, and so
like Willa's really happy. And the night before the wedding
Thatcher is like, oh, I'm gonna go sleep at my
friend's beach house, like you know, so we're separate or whatever,
and like my friend is actually finally in town. He'll
be at the wedding and you can wait.
Speaker 1 (54:52):
Is this what they mentioned the friend's name, because isn't
a friend name like Vivian or something, And it's like
a total female.
Speaker 2 (54:57):
It's like Addison Addison.
Speaker 1 (54:59):
Yeah, and I'm like, is he's a girl or a guy?
Speaker 2 (55:01):
I right, because to me that seems like a girl's name,
but he says it's a guy, and it's like, okay,
I guess, like I'm not gonna if he if he
says it's a guy, but like.
Speaker 1 (55:10):
I guess I can't judge the pronoun seas heason, I
don't know any better, but yeah, I'm first like I
was like, wait, it is some like the's some girl's
house this whole time.
Speaker 2 (55:18):
And I think he's gone to the beach house a
couple of times, but like whatever, Yeah, he's gonna stay
there the night before the wedding and then Basseinger calls
her and he's like okay, so most of your prenup
is okay, but there's like this weird bit about like
him paying for the upkeep of the house, and Will
was like, yeah, like he's gonna be in charge of
that since his parents were doing it before, blah blah blah.
(55:40):
It just easier. And Passenger's like okay because the way
he has it worded, it seems like he has like
a lean on the house, So like, do you want
me to fix it? It's just like awkward wording. I don't
know why he did it like that, and Willo's kind
of like, oh, like that is kind of weird. But
then she's like, we're in love. I trust him, don't
change anything. I'll sign it. It's fine, and her lawyer's
(56:03):
like okay. So that night she's getting ready for bed
and Margaret Selby her cousin comes in the room and
her cousin's gonna be one of her bridesmaids whatever, and
her and at Agnes are there for the wedding, you know,
and she's like, can't sleep. Huh. I couldn't sleep before
my wedding either, and Willa was like, yeah, I think
i'd be so unnecessarily weird. This problem is wild. I
(56:27):
didn't even go into the big details, but we will.
So Margaret Selby is like, I was so nervous about
like having sex, you know, for the first time, but like,
I know, that's probably not a problem for you because
you've had sex before, and will was like, yeah, like
it's still special, like whatever. Margaret Selby tells a weird,
sad tale about how her husband like works all the
(56:50):
time and when they do have sex, it's fucking weird
because most of the time he sits in a chair
and then she sits on his lap and while reciting
Jack be Nimble, and sometimes she says it five times,
and sometimes she has to say it like twenty times,
(57:10):
and Willa's just like, what the fuck?
Speaker 1 (57:13):
Imagine someone telling you I don't want a family ever.
But I'm just like, no need to tell me anymore.
Speaker 2 (57:18):
I but She's like, oh, and yeah, I'm excited when
he comes home to see if we can do Jack
bi Nimble and I'm like, oh, Mark, I like to
see if I can get it out, like how quickly
I can.
Speaker 1 (57:28):
Do how many times? Like what?
Speaker 2 (57:32):
Yeah? And so Willow is like, Okay, that's not how
it is for us. She doesn't say anything about how
weird that is. She's like it's different for us, and
like the wedding is just the beginning. And then Margaret
Selby gets really fucking sad, and she's like, it wasn't
the beginning for me, it was the end because her
marriage sucks, and like she like cries a little and
leaves and I'm like, oh, okay, sad.
Speaker 1 (57:55):
So I'm necessarily there. The best part of the book maybe.
Speaker 2 (58:00):
Is that, honestly, because it's so unexpected and I'm just
like wait what she's talking that Yeah, So then whatever,
the wedding is great, everything's gorgeous, there's hundreds of people.
Her professor is there. He's in love with her, obviously,
and then like her and Thatcher are like mingling with
their guests, and like Linden comes up and he's like,
your present's done. You should come look at it before
(58:21):
you leave, because they're like gonna go on the honeymoon,
and so she's like, okay, yeah, let me like grab Thatcher.
It'll be just like a couple of minutes. And they
go and see the painting and it's a picture of
Willow standing by the ocean and she's wearing like a
sea through white dress, but it's like tasteful. It's like
nude but not like super nudy, and it's like really
(58:42):
well done. So her and Thatcher are like, oh, my
good job. Like we gotta leave though, and Linden is like,
I think you should hang it above your bed and
I'll do it while you're on your honeymoon, so it'll
be ready by the time you get back. And they're
like okay, cool, and they go on their honeymoon whatever,
it's in France, I think. And yeah. So the first
(59:03):
day it's like really nice, it's beautiful, perfect. They have
a great time. And then the next day, like early
in the morning, she wakes up and he's like on
the phone and he's like, I've been tracked down. I
gotta go do work. And she's like what and he's like, yeah,
there's like this new client and it's like a really
big deal. So I'm just gonna like drive down to
this other city in France and I'm gonna meet with
(59:25):
him and like make this deal. And Willa was like,
we're on our honeymoon and you're doing work and he's like,
I know, but like you have to do all that
shopping you want to do anyway, so you can do
all that while I'm gone, And so he leaves and
she's pissed about it, but she does, like end up
going out. She buys gifts for everyone. She sends her
professor a gift, and then she's like, I'm not gonna
(59:46):
tell that tri about that, and then she like falls
asleep by the pool like with a drink, and he
finds her there when she gets back, and the rest
of the trip is like great, and Will is like,
I'm so glad my husband is so great, Like I
know him so well. We're the best couple. Other marriages
ain't got ship on us.
Speaker 1 (01:00:07):
Yes, the husband you're known for maybe not even a
year yet.
Speaker 2 (01:00:10):
So they're just the best. And when they get home,
Linden's painting is above their bed, and Linden has also
moved into the room that's like it says it's the
room behind theirs, but it also sounds like it's like
across the hallway. Well, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:00:24):
Be next to it, based on what we fight out
later about the painting, but it's the room that her
mom was attacked in and nobody hangs out and he's like,
I'm actually gonna be in this room next to you guys.
Speaker 2 (01:00:35):
Yeah, And everyone's uncomfortable with that, especially Grace because Grace
doesn't go in that room.
Speaker 1 (01:00:42):
Also, everyone should be uncomfortable. Why is he moving to
his next door to the newlyweds too? When there is
a big this has it's huge, you could have so
many there's rooms everywhere, have a little fucking rooms. You're
gonna go next door?
Speaker 2 (01:00:57):
Weird? Weird? Yeah, and yeah, so like she talks to
her mom about it, and Grace is like, yeah, I
really hate that he did that, Like I have to
go buy that room all the time now, and she
tells Willow like the whole story of the assault and
like how it started by like Kirby was just like
(01:01:18):
visiting her and talking to her about like how he
was lonely because her mom was like always gone, and
then like he'd like buy her gifts and then he'd
like started like sitting in bed with her and like
kissing her on the cheek or whatever, and then it
progressed and she was assaulted. She didn't know what was happening,
YadA YadA, terrible, terrible, terrible. And then afterwards she's like, whoa,
(01:01:40):
you probably didn't want to hear all that, sorry, and
Willa was like no, like I'm glad you told me.
I also think you should maybe go to the doctor
and get some therapy and Grace is like no, I'm good.
So that's that. And then she goes and talks to
Lyndon and she's like, hey, why did you move into
this room and he's like, well, I'm wanted to. And
(01:02:01):
Grace needs to get over her fear of it so
we can only like, we can only have her get
over that. If she's like, you know, exposure therapy, she's
gonna like, come over here, it'll be fine, Like we
need to do that together. That's our job as siblings.
And she's like, okay, whatever. And then so they're all
living in the house together, her and Thatcher have their
(01:02:22):
room whatever, and Thatcher's been working like a lot, which
has always been a thing, that's what she's She knows
that he works a bunch whatever. But since he's always working,
like they start going out just like her Grayson Lindon,
and like Willa notices that like Lindon will go out
in public with no issues as long as Willow is
also going and she doesn't love that. But she's also like, oh,
(01:02:45):
he's getting better. Things are great. And at school she's
been confiding in her professor because they're like friends now
and he's like her unofficial therapist. And I was like,
don't love this, red.
Speaker 1 (01:02:57):
Flags, boundaries crossed, terrible. Well, she didn't learn shit from
her dad's terrible practices as a doctor in her mom's situation.
Speaker 2 (01:03:06):
Nope, She's like, my dad knew what was up. I'm
gonna do that.
Speaker 1 (01:03:09):
My dad fucked his patients and that was okay.
Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
Yeah, So she's telling you her teacher like all her
relationship drama, all her family drama. She's telling him about
like how she hates Thatcher's family, how they annoy her,
and like how weird her fucking brother is and how
he's obsessed with her and doesn't like Thatcher. And so
Professor Fuentes is like, oh, you should try and get
Lynden to take like art classes at the college since
(01:03:35):
he loves art, and then he'll like get out and
talk to people. And she's like, good idea. She does
everything he suggested, so like whatever. So then the Love
Club is like, well, you need to meet with us.
You've been avoiding us, but like we got some goss
for you, and she's like okay, and they're like, so,
Whitney has been spreading rumors that you're fucking your brother
(01:03:56):
sit and because you're always in public together and he
may that weird painting of you and everyone's seen it
and like what the fuck? And Willo was like, I'm
not even gonna acknowledge these rumors. They're so stupid. And
they're like okay if you don't acknowledge them, they're just
gonna get worse, Like you can't just ignore this shit,
and they're like you should spread your own rumors, like
(01:04:16):
that's how you should stop it, and like you should
basically start spreading rumors about like how Whitney's obsessed with Thatcher,
so maybe that's what's going on. And willis like, I
would never do that. I'll deal with this myself. So
she just shows up at Whitney's house and it's basically
like keep my name at your mouth, and Whitney's like, hey,
(01:04:37):
like it's not my fault that your brother's in love
with you and he has nude pics of you, and
Willow was like, how the fuck do you know that? Like,
and so Willow just like goes off and she's like,
you're gonna give me those pictures back by six pm
or I'm just gonna start telling everyone how you're obsessed
with Thatcher and you've interfered with all his relationships because
(01:04:58):
no one's good enough for him because you want to
fuck him. And Whitney is like, you would not do that,
and Willow's like, try me.
Speaker 1 (01:05:05):
So why Whitney would care because like that's just rumors
And Whitney has these nude pictures that Lindon took a willow,
so like one has proof and one is just empty,
and it looks like she's just trying to get like
Whitney has up her hand here. I think we should
have been like, what the fuck are you talking? Like,
pretend she didn't know about these pictures, get horrified, and
then immediately kick Wenda out and be like, sir, bro
(01:05:27):
they found.
Speaker 2 (01:05:27):
Out right if she'd freaked out, like she could have
got police involved, if she really wanted to.
Speaker 1 (01:05:31):
She should have done something. So people are like, oh,
obviously she did not know this was going on and
she appropriately reacted. But nope, that's not what she does Whitney.
And I'm like, who cares if you're saying it second,
that makes it sound like you're just trying to get
back at her by saying the same exact thing. That
doesn't do shit.
Speaker 2 (01:05:49):
Right, and like, but now she knows that, like one
of her two maids has given those pictures to Whitney,
so there's a rat. And she also tells her professor
all of that and he's like, you need to tell
thatcher about it, and she's like fine, So she doesn't
tell him about the nude pictures, but she tells him
(01:06:10):
about like the rumors and everything, and Thatcher's like, yeah,
your brother's pretty fucking creepy, man, I've been meaning to
talk to you about it. He literally lurks around the
house and I've caught him outside of our room. I
think he listens to us when we're fucking and she's like,
w no, that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:06:28):
I'm like, girl, how is that crazy? Right? He tak
pictures for you taking a shit? Why is that crazy?
Speaker 2 (01:06:33):
Is that crazy? Literally? At one point she's like he
said nothing wrong, and I'm like it's one of my
quotes because I was like, the nude pictures, what about that? Whatever?
So Thatcher once again thinks London should be institutionalized, and
Willa's like maybe, I don't know, and then they basically
agree that they should just take a weekend to get
(01:06:55):
away from everything. So he's like, let's go to the
Bahamas and she's like, okay, so they're going to do
that at some point, and then her mom is also
like not doing great and is obviously like very depressed.
But when Willow was like you should go to the
hospital or see a doctor, She's like, no, we'll not
do that she hates the hospital. She's like, I'll be
better tomorrow. I just needed.
Speaker 1 (01:07:14):
To because your doctor was inappropriate with her at one point.
Speaker 2 (01:07:18):
Maybe at one point she was like groomed and abused
by her doctor at a hospital. That'd be so crazy,
things like maybe that might have happened. Whenever, Then Willow
has a quote unquote nightmare. She never goes back to this.
She never takes two seconds to think about this after
she never goes.
Speaker 1 (01:07:38):
Hey, what about and connects the dots.
Speaker 2 (01:07:40):
But this never comes back, And I think it should.
Speaker 1 (01:07:43):
I think this valid makes my predictions valid and correct. Yes,
was like, oh, so I'm totally fucking.
Speaker 2 (01:07:51):
Right exactly well, and I never thought about it, but yeah,
honestly it would make sense. So yeah, because she has
a nightmare where shept in the middle of the night
and Lyndon creeps in and stands over her bed while
naked and just stares at her for a while and
then leaves the room. And in the morning she's like,
does that really happen whatever, and just like gets over it.
(01:08:13):
So her and Thatcher going on their weekend vacation. He
leaves his phone at home like this is like legit,
it's their second honeymoon, that's what they're calling it. And
so basically they're just drinking, fucking relaxing, and Willow tells
Thatcher about how his sister's been spreading incest rumors because
of the pictures Linden took. Doesn't doesn't talk about the
(01:08:34):
nudie pics. Well, I thought, I don't know, and Thatcher
is like pictures and he's like and She's like, yeah,
like he wanted to take all these like candid pictures
for a better picture, for a better thing. I think
I put this part in twice for some reason. But
he's like, he needs to be institutionalized, and will It
was like, no, like he would never trust me if
(01:08:55):
I put him in an institution, and I'm like, girl, okay,
but she does agree, like they have to do something.
He should at least be like on meds. And then
they continue to have their weekend fun and at the
end of it, will I was like, oh my god,
I had so much fun. I forgot to take my
birth control. Whoops. It should be fine. One weekend wouldn't
(01:09:17):
make a difference.
Speaker 1 (01:09:19):
Which sometimes it does.
Speaker 2 (01:09:21):
Sometimes it does. So then get back home and Jennings
is like, oh my god, Willow, your mom collapse while
you were gone, and then refuse to go to the hospital.
So Willa runs in there and she's like, what the fuck?
Why didn't anyone call me? And her mom is like,
I'm literally fine, I will get better and I told
everyone not to call you. I will get worse if
you take me to the hospital actually, and she's like, okay,
(01:09:45):
So then.
Speaker 1 (01:09:45):
Girl, stop, did you should do when you think he's
medically correct in this situation? And then listen to everyone
else in the linen go doctors. Your dad was a doctor.
Why are you so against doctors?
Speaker 2 (01:09:56):
Really? Though, yeah, it makes no sense. Whatever, she listens
to her and doesn't take her to the hospital because
then it's six weeks later, and Willa was like, oh
my god, my period, that never happened. And then she
takes a pregnancy test and oh my god, we're all
so surprised she's pregnant. So then she has a weird
(01:10:18):
conversation with her imaginary fake dad because she has this
a lot where she just like talks to herself and
acts like her dad is replying and I'm like, wow, okay,
And she calls Thatcher and he's at work and she's like,
you need to come home right now. And he's like,
did Lindon do something and she's like, no, it's about us.
You got to get here right now. And then she
(01:10:40):
goes outside and she's just like lounging on a lawn
chair and he comes over and he's like what the fuck, Like,
are you pulling some bunny shit?
Speaker 1 (01:10:49):
You're just trying, but obviously in the back of his
mind he's like she's had that.
Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
I'm cheating, right, But.
Speaker 1 (01:10:56):
He's like, what's with the dramatics, you crazy bitch.
Speaker 2 (01:10:59):
And she's like, I'm pregnant and he's like, oh, well
that's not terrible, Like all right, we okay, so what
we have money? Essentially, he's like we can deal. And
then he's like I just got used to being a husband.
I'll just have to get used to being a dad.
And will I was like, uh is that it? Like
really because she's still unsure of everything, which in my head,
(01:11:20):
I'm like, okay, you didn't plan this, but like you're married,
like you have a house, you have money.
Speaker 1 (01:11:26):
Yeah, like if you want to have a kid, it's
not the worst situation. Just think about like what you
want to do for you right now? She probably shouldn't
though about that before she called that, or was like
I need to tell me. Just call him, be like hey,
we need to talk, like make sure you're home for dinner.
I don't think she needed to pull them away from work.
You're going to be pregnant that.
Speaker 2 (01:11:42):
Night, too, big drama, Yeah, exactly, like you have some
time to think about this. It's you're not having the
baby tomorrow, okay. Yeah. So then he's like because she's
still on sure, yeah, and he's like okay, Like you'll
take a break from school and go back after It's
no big deal. We have money once again. And then
you just goes back to work. He leaves, He's like, Okay,
I'll see you later. I'm gonna work late tonight. And
(01:12:04):
she's like okay, and she tells everyone else and they're
all excited for her. But Lyndon is especially into this
idea of her having a baby, and he's like, oh,
I'm move out of Grace's old room so we can
use that as a nursery. And he's thinking about like
paint colors, and he's like printing out stuff about baby
information and stuff, and everyone's like surprised. They're like he
(01:12:25):
is really into this, okay, and Thatcher starts calling him
their nanny, and Will was like, stop, it's not funny.
Don't let me hear that. Whatever. Everyone also gives her.
Everyone's like, i'll give you a list of baby names,
which I think is really funny. Yeah, like, I'll send
the list.
Speaker 1 (01:12:44):
Yeah. I was like, oh, I have a premaide list.
I'll let you see it.
Speaker 2 (01:12:47):
I was waiting for this to happen. So she only
listens to what Professor Flintes says though, because he's like, oh, easy,
go the twilight route. If it's a boy, name it
after your dad, and girl.
Speaker 1 (01:13:00):
Name it after your mom and his mom's name together,
so it'd be Grace Bunny.
Speaker 2 (01:13:06):
Well she has a real name, but like.
Speaker 1 (01:13:09):
Yeah, we don't know it. He doesn't know it.
Speaker 2 (01:13:11):
No, it's said at one point and she's like, ew, no,
call me Bunny.
Speaker 1 (01:13:15):
Yeah, but like buddy Grace, Grace, Bunny, Bunny. Grace is
a cute you know what, Bunny Grace for a girl,
and Charlie what a fun for a boy.
Speaker 2 (01:13:23):
Claude, I guess whatever Claude. Oh yeah, I forgot her
dad's name was Claude. For some reason, I was thinking
like Everett or something fun, but no, it's Claude whatever. Yeah,
he tells her. He's like, oh, like you could name
if it's a girl, you could name her Hannah because
that's Grace and Hebrew. And she's like, oh my god, perfect.
I'm not gonna think of a single other name.
Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
So that's it. That's the name. Thank you for naming
my child.
Speaker 2 (01:13:47):
Yeah, and then her teachers also like, oh, like, don't
tell Thatcher I suggested those names or he'll hate them
because like the male ego, because like her teacher, Thatcher
doesn't know that her teacher is like her makeshift there bestie,
like he does not know that they be talking like this.
Speaker 1 (01:14:03):
Doesn't tell him that, which I get. She's not cheating,
but she is keeping that a secret from him, which
is you know, obsess on her side.
Speaker 2 (01:14:10):
That's the thing, Like she's not cheating, but she makes
it weird by not saying anything, like.
Speaker 1 (01:14:17):
She's keeping something from him, So she is.
Speaker 2 (01:14:20):
She's kind of likeing deceitful and that is frowned upon
in a healthy relationship, so not great. Willow whatever. The
Love Club calls her and they're like, girl, you've been
avoiding us and we know you've been making some excuses,
but you've got to show up, like right now, you
need to come over. And she's like okay, and she
(01:14:41):
gets there and like sit down, like let's get you
a drink first, like you get ready for it. Here's
what we've all been expecting this entire fucking book. She's
like that you're cheating on you with that Mia Stone bitch,
his ex, And they're like, we knew you wouldn't believe us,
so we hired a private detective and he got all
the evidence and the receipts.
Speaker 1 (01:15:02):
So chill, I mean what honestly great friends. They're like, hey, so.
Speaker 2 (01:15:05):
Good to her, and she just ignores them and she's
like so she's so much better about them.
Speaker 1 (01:15:11):
They literally are like, we're looking at for you. We
hired this PI, we got this evidence, we had this offer.
You didn't. We knew you wouldn't. We knew you, so
we did this all to help you. Speechless, don't want
anything in return, And she's like, you guys are jealous bitches.
Speaker 2 (01:15:27):
She doesn't even look like They give her. It's an
entire folder they've prepared for her and are like, yeah,
he's been cheating on you. The entire time, Like, uh,
he has this like beach house that he stays at,
the friends beach house. That's where he's been fucking Mia
and like every single business trip he's been fucking her,
(01:15:47):
even on the honeymoon. M Because they're like, we didn't
get this one, like how did he get away from
you on the honeymoon And she's like, he said he
had a business deal Yike's girl. Yeah, you should have
seen through that one, honestly, but.
Speaker 1 (01:16:03):
The way he explained it, I was like, it's plausible.
He said he does have his client who was in France,
So is he's not that we know he's a workaholic
obviously with sasay that he's probably cheating, but like also
it's not the crazy like for it's not out of
the ordinary for him to do something like that.
Speaker 2 (01:16:19):
Exactly, Yeah, it's believable. But the girls are like, we
have picks, we have receipts to prove it. So like
Willa was speechless and they're like, we'll drive you home.
And because they're literally like, we didn't want to tell
you this because you're pregnant, Like we didn't want to
freak you out. Like at one point they're like I
(01:16:39):
thought you were going to abort right at the table,
And the waiter walks by and is like, uh, I know.
Speaker 1 (01:16:46):
These girls great, I mean truly amazing.
Speaker 2 (01:16:50):
Yeah, And but Willa was like, no, I'll drive myself.
So she drives off all crazy and then pulls over
to look at the evidence and then like throws up
because she's so discussed buy it all. And when she
gets home, she thankfully doesn't see Lyndon. So she goes
to her room and like spreads all the evidence all
over the bed and she's like freaking out because she's like,
I'm pregnant with this man's child. This baby is not
(01:17:13):
made out of love. She's like should I keep this baby?
Like what am I supposed to do? Like, so she
decides to walk it off, So she goes to the beach.
She's walking Thatcher shows up. He's all pissy and he's
like she's like, putt it on me And he's like, yeah,
but you hired a private detective and that's an invasion
of privacy.
Speaker 1 (01:17:34):
You crazy. But she's like, bitch, what.
Speaker 2 (01:17:38):
Yeah, And he's like you've been compiling this for a minute,
you've known and she's like, I didn't do it actually
someone did it for me and he's like, that's worse.
And she's like she doesn't even explain, like I didn't
know they were doing it, Like she doesn't explain the
love club no.
Speaker 1 (01:17:53):
But he's like, I can't believe you do this. You're
literally disgusting and terrible. And I'm like, oh, that's fair.
Speaker 2 (01:17:59):
And she's like, okay, you literally cheated on me, and
he's like, okay, but let me explain. You needn't even
let me explain, okay. And his explanation is essentially that
he needed to get me out of his system, okay,
And like once, once Willow got pregnant, he told me
it was over, okay, So literally that night that she
got pregnant, that he said I'm gonna work late, that's
(01:18:21):
when he fucking did it. I know it is. I
just thought of that while we were talking about it, but.
Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
Also probably didn't actually mean it, so I don't know why.
Speaker 2 (01:18:29):
That's the thing, Like I highly like, why would you
believe him now? And Willow is like okay, like you
had so long to get over her, like fuck your explanation,
I want a divorce, or.
Speaker 1 (01:18:39):
Even showed up in Florida.
Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
Like whatever, and so he gets really mad and storms off,
and when she gets back inside, Grace is like, hey,
what happened? I saw thatcher walking off all angry with
the suitcase, and he ignored me when I like tried
to talk to him. So Willow starts crying and explains everything,
and then her mom's like up and she's like, I
feel like this is my fault. I was so blind
(01:19:03):
about his charisma that I didn't even notice anything suspicious.
And I'm like a little bit, I get it. And
will also is like, I don't know if I want
to keep this baby because this baby was not made
from love and it's always going to be a reminder
of his betrayal. And her mom is like, no, not.
Speaker 1 (01:19:23):
Her mom is like, we're actually very pro life in
this fucking family.
Speaker 2 (01:19:26):
Now, Okay, here's the thing. I hated this one line,
specifically that her mom tells her you'll hate yourself if
you don't give birth, and I'm like, what weird weirdly
specific whatever.
Speaker 1 (01:19:41):
And also like, we get it. You kept your baby
that was made from you, know, so, and I not
do that, Like, and that's your personal choice, so force
your daughter to have a child. And also she's still
like twenty two maybe, so like she's really young.
Speaker 2 (01:19:55):
I thought she's still like nineteen, No, and she's like
twenty now. Oh yeah, I guess she probably is like
twenty one because it doesn't mention dream. I don't know
whatever can be like twenty one max. Yeah, but yeah, she's.
Speaker 1 (01:20:09):
Still very young. It wouldn't be crazy for her not
to keep this baby. She's been married for like a
couple of months. Only she's young, she's in school.
Speaker 2 (01:20:18):
We don't know how far a long she even is
in the pregnancy, because the timeline of this is not clear.
Speaker 1 (01:20:22):
Less than three months, I'd say. And this is back
when Florida allowed abortions, so she was because like technically
at the time she found out in Florida today she
wouldn't be allowed to get an abortion. H yeah, but
during this timeframe, it's an option. Yeah, it's still alive.
Speaker 2 (01:20:39):
But her mom is like, if I can love Lindon,
you can love this baby. So no abortion for this girl.
She's going to keep it. And the Love Club calls
again to check on her, and she's like, yeah, I'm fine.
I kicked out with thatcher and she tells them, like
his dumb explanation for cheating and they're like, ugh, stupid
and they give her the name of a divorce attorney
(01:21:01):
and they're like, she's a woman, she gets it. She's
a great attorney. We already told her about your situation
if you want to use her, and Willow is like sick,
I'll call her and she does whatever.
Speaker 1 (01:21:12):
The greatest friends. I mean, surely these women are great.
Speaker 2 (01:21:15):
Yeah, when Willow has given them nothing. Whatever.
Speaker 1 (01:21:18):
Girl, you know you've been a bit su us. We
still looking out for you because, like we said, we
support women. You know, women, they're girls.
Speaker 2 (01:21:25):
Girls. And then Lindon shows up and he's like I
fucking told you so, and he's like, also, I finished
my latest painting because he's been working on something and
she's like okay, and he makes her come look and
it's like her walking along the beach, but then Lindon
is also walking behind her and like merging into her
(01:21:47):
anamorph style and he's like coming out of her pregnant
belly as her baby. And she's like can you explain it?
And he's like you don't get it, like what and
he gets all mad and she's like no, like I
really like it, but like, explain what you mean by that,
and he's like, well, it shows that we're a part
(01:22:09):
of each other.
Speaker 1 (01:22:10):
Dumb.
Speaker 2 (01:22:11):
And she's like, heyay, cool, I gotta go, and she
talks to her mom about it, and her mom is
also super weirded out by this painting. But somehow they
still don't think that he needs to get into therapy
and they just like keep ignoring him. It's fine and whatever.
So Thatcher and Whitney end up spreading the rumor that
(01:22:31):
Willow is pregnant by her brother's baby. It's her brother's
baby and that's the reason for the divorce and that's dumb.
And then Willow's divorce attorney is like, hey, you're preed
up with shady as hell, and it's weird that he
wrote it himself. He should have had an outside lawyer
write this because I can easily fight all of these
(01:22:51):
points and this should be like a really easy case
for you. And she's like okay, and her lawyer is
also like, if he talks to you, tell him to
talk to me, Like, don't don't say anything to him.
This really should be easy. That's just pissed about this
for obvious reasons. And he does keep calling her and
like trying to egg her into conversations, and she's like,
(01:23:12):
you're the one that put the cheating claws in the prenup,
so like this is all your own. He's cheating, so
I the audacity. So then one day will It comes
home and her mom is like komatos. Her mom is
like fucking out and they have to drive her to
a hospital that it's like half an hour away because
there's no hospitals in Palm Beach And when her and
(01:23:34):
Linden go to visit, the doctor is like, yeah, so
she had a stroke and we think she had a
heart attack before that, and like she just like didn't
realize or didn't tell anyone. And I'm like, oh, you
mean like those times and she got really sick and
wouldn't go to the hospital. I wonder what those what
was happening.
Speaker 1 (01:23:51):
Then she collapsed and them was in bed ill tired
because she definitely fucking had a heart attack.
Speaker 2 (01:23:56):
Mm hmm mm hmmm. Yeah. So she's in a koma,
not looking great. She's had some brain damage, and Willow's
like can we see her? And he's like yeah, she's
like hooked up to tub though, so don't be scared.
So they go in there and Lindon immediately blanks out
and he turns to Willow and he's like, we better
get home so we can have dinner with Grace. She
likes to have dinner early, and Willow is like, what shit.
(01:24:20):
She realizes he's having a mental break because of this,
so she's like, Okay, I just got to go with
it so he doesn't freak out, so she's like, okay, yeah,
let's go home. And as the days pass, he continues
to be like that and just like not acknowledge that
their mom is in a coma and she has to
like remind him, like, yeah, our mom is in the hospital,
like she's there, like it's fine. And then Grace dies
(01:24:43):
and Lindon really doesn't believe that either, but Willow is like,
he'll get it once he's at the funeral.
Speaker 1 (01:24:49):
And he'll understand that will happen.
Speaker 2 (01:24:52):
The best way to do that, but yeah, he will understand.
And at this point, Jennings tells Willow that the two
maids that are there are super uncomfortable about Lindon and
they're basically quitting because of him. And also Jennings is
quitting because he's like this house is way too big.
(01:25:13):
It's too expensive for you to afford me, Like you,
you don't need to know.
Speaker 1 (01:25:17):
So Jennings was low key in love with Grace and
now that she's dead, he's like, I don't even.
Speaker 2 (01:25:20):
Want to be here, heart broken. Yeah, So the maids
are like, we'll stay for the funeral, and they do that,
and there's like not a lot of people at the
funeral but teach, but Professor Fuenttez comes of course because
he's there to support her. Lindon obviously freaks out at
the funeral and they have to like take him home
because he's like having a mental breakdown and the professor
(01:25:42):
is like, hey, this house is way too big for you,
and Willow is like, I know, I've been considering selling
it because obviously it's fine for three people, but for
two people it's crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:25:53):
So she's like three people again, she is pregnant.
Speaker 2 (01:25:56):
There will be through the babe, it's true, and she's like, yeah,
I've been considering selling it and like moving home, and
then like I could send me.
Speaker 1 (01:26:05):
She sold her last home, she has no home.
Speaker 2 (01:26:07):
Well, she wants to go home so he can go
to the Willows, I fucking guess, and her teacher's like, no,
don't do that.
Speaker 1 (01:26:15):
Don't don't leave stare.
Speaker 2 (01:26:19):
And so the next day Jennings is like, hey, can
you look at something, and he takes Willow outside and
shows her that Lindon painted the windows in his bedroom black,
and so she goes up there and she's like, hey,
why did you do that? And he's like, every time
I looked out the window, I saw Grace out there
with the lantern and I know she's not there, but
(01:26:42):
I fucking saw her and I didn't want to see
it anymore. And will I was like, weird, but okay.
Speaker 1 (01:26:47):
I'd be like, we'll get you some blinds next time.
Maybe bring that up to me. Will be here blind Yep.
We don't need paint. We have other things that aren't paint.
Speaker 2 (01:26:56):
And she's like, I'm still not worried about this. I
still don't think you need therapy. Everything is fine, and
so Lynna gets really into like cooking and more into
like baby research, and so she whatever, life goes on.
(01:27:17):
She's getting closer with her teacher. She's calling him Miguel.
Now they're on a first name basis, and he's like, girl,
Lynna needs help and she's like yeah, And then him
and Willow were falling in love and they kiss and
she's all like thanks for making a pregnant person feel
pretty and he's like, you are pretty and she's like
(01:27:38):
this better not be charity and he's like it's not.
Speaker 1 (01:27:43):
Can you try to get with you this whole time?
Speaker 2 (01:27:44):
Girl?
Speaker 1 (01:27:44):
Have you not noticed?
Speaker 2 (01:27:46):
Literally whatever? And then he's like, oh, like because her
divorce is like finalizing at this point, and they're like,
we should go to like fancy dinner to celebrate this
divorce and they they're like, Linden, you should come too,
and he's like, I don't know about that. Maybe whatever.
So they make plans to go to dinner like in
a couple nights, and so Miguel leaves and Linden brings
(01:28:07):
dinner over. And after she has dinner, Willi is super
tired and she's like, I've been having trouble sleeping lately,
but I'm like passing the fuck out, can barely get
up the stairs. I wonder what happened?
Speaker 1 (01:28:20):
So okay, sure girl. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:28:23):
She's like this is weird and passes out like as
soon as she's in bed, and when she wakes up,
she is naked under the covers and all the clothes
in her room are gone, all the windows are painted black,
and she is confused. So she goes in the bathroom
and puts on a towel and finds she's locked in
her room, like totally locked in, and she's like screaming
(01:28:45):
for help, And eventually Lindon is like, you'll be safe
in there, and I'll take care of you and baby
Hannah because at this point they know it's a girl,
and Will is like freaking out. She tries to break
the door down, she cannot. He only visits when she's
like asleep, and he like drops food off. I was
a little confused. I think she's like trapped in there
for like what like two days. It's not super long.
Speaker 1 (01:29:06):
Yeah, like a day, two days max. But yeah, I
think the lack of clothing is a red flag. Also
the fact that he doesn't care that she drugged her,
even though he's like so into the baby's south. That's
probably not good for the baby. And the fumes from
the paint. You have to have the windows closed to
paint them. The fumes in that room terrible for the baby, I'm.
Speaker 2 (01:29:24):
Sure, right. Yeah, So eventually she gets so mad that
she rips down the portrait that is above her bed,
and when she rips it down, she finds there's a
hole in the wall that matches up with a thin
spot in the painting, and she realizes that Lindon has
been using this the entire time to spy on her,
and at this point he's using it to see when
(01:29:46):
she's asleep so he can bring food. So she's like, wow,
he probably was watching me and thatcherr fuck because that
would have been the perfect looky hole. Yeah m hm.
So she fakes being asleep and waits for him to
bring her food and then runs out of the room.
He chases after her. She ends up falling down the stairs.
So you got your stair fall that you wanted. But
(01:30:09):
she's fine, like whatever, Like she hurts herself, but like
he carries her back up the stairs and they hear
glass breaking, and Miguel shows up to help, and Lyndon
basically like threatens to throw a willow like off the stairs.
He's like, I'll just fucking throw her onto the ground
if you don't leave, and so Miguel leaves and Linden
(01:30:30):
is like, now we're going to be alone, and I
have to make you new food because you fucking ruined
the other food. So he locks her in her room
and uh, Miguel comes back like instantly and breaks her out,
and he's like, I called the police because when I
called to be like, I'm coming over to pick you
guys up for dinner, Lindon said that, like, you weren't
going to do that and that you were like going
(01:30:51):
back home. And I thought that was weird and suspicious.
But when I told the police, they called and said
he was fine. So I just called him again and
now they are coming and it's just like what okay,
And so Lennon ends up getting institutionalized and he's back
on meds. Willa gives birth to Hannah because she's a
resilient little baby that doesn't care that she got poisoned
(01:31:13):
and thrown down the stairs, and then Willow marries Miguel.
Speaker 1 (01:31:18):
The end YEP so three point four or four stars.
Speaker 2 (01:31:23):
I did have to get some of these reviews off of, uh,
the other one because there was only eight reviews on
story Graph.
Speaker 1 (01:31:33):
Yeah, really it's crazy, not a lot to work with, Okay, well,
StoryGraph Flash good Reads. StoryGraph got three point four four.
Speaker 2 (01:31:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:31:41):
As a preteen reading these novels was Rebellion and the
gothic theme also seemed cool. I stopped reading this author
because the novelty wore off and the novels are two formulaic.
I cannot tell one book from another, and gothic aspect
was lost. One star. It is less gothic. I'm gonna
tak it more formulaic, be more VC with it, you know,
the formula is gone. It's more just like girl is there?
Speaker 2 (01:32:05):
Yeah. Well, and a lot of a lot of the
reviews were the same, So here's the next one. I
agreed with this one. This was so long. Maybe it
got better later on, but I was over one hundred
and fifty pages in and had no desire to continue
the story. Two stars. It really it's like so slow.
It's just like name.
Speaker 1 (01:32:26):
Yeah, not much happens until the very end. I mean,
it's definitely not as awesomely bad as most of this
series that falls under the answers names. It's really just
sort of there. I would say worth a read, but
don't buy. Don't buy it if you have access to
a copy through your library, read it that way. And
what's with the letters at the end? Three stars. But
(01:32:48):
I don't read the letters because I'm like, who cares.
Speaker 2 (01:32:51):
I didn't read them either, but this one was like
from Melody and it was like her being like, hey, Willow,
I heard all this crazy shit that happened to you here,
Like my life is also like crazy, and there's other
girls with crazy lives from other.
Speaker 1 (01:33:05):
Yeah, it's just like, oh my god, mellow, I too
have dead parents.
Speaker 2 (01:33:10):
Yeah, okay, here's another one. Slow starting better starting in
the middle of the book. Four stars not wrong.
Speaker 1 (01:33:20):
Yeah I knew this or I know this would have
left up the drama in the book. But why didn't
Willow just have Lendon committed right away? The writing was up,
the was on the wall, so to speak, as soon
as she started dating thatcher. But the new candidate picks
would have been what did it for me? But I
guess it would have killed the drama. Five stars. I mean, no,
she should have definitely once she saw the pictures.
Speaker 2 (01:33:41):
I mean, I don't understand how you could find those
pictures and then, like I said a million times, not
get them back first of all, and then just to
be like, well, it's fine, he did paint a good picture. Girl. No, okay,
which are questions. We're gonna hop right back into this,
(01:34:02):
so let's all just start it off. Why didn't she
put him in therapy, like at least therapy, but.
Speaker 1 (01:34:08):
You won't even commit him therapy needed because like he's
been in therapy for like his whole life or whatever,
So I don't think it's bad that he would be
back in therapy.
Speaker 2 (01:34:18):
And also she should know as the daughter of a
psychiatrist that like therapy is a good thing, and like
most people need to be in therapy. Like it's not
like you take it. You go to therapy for a
year and then you're like I'm caring. That's it, I'm done.
Most people need continuous therapy.
Speaker 1 (01:34:34):
Especially someone with thatcher who has such issues, Like he's
obviously not okay, he's not like participating. He's not a
normal guy.
Speaker 2 (01:34:41):
He's isolating over his conception and birth.
Speaker 1 (01:34:44):
So he's way too like obsessed with himself. He's only
thinks about himself. He's a fucking crazy person. Yeah, no,
he needs to be in therapy.
Speaker 2 (01:34:54):
Minimum That bothered me so much, especially even when like
her teacher is like, yeah, you should put him in therapy.
Everyone's telling her he should be in therapy, he should
be in therapy or institutionalized, and she's like, no, what
if he gets mad at me?
Speaker 1 (01:35:08):
Yeah, And I'm like, girl, he wants to fuck you. You're
his sister. That's something therapist should know about.
Speaker 2 (01:35:14):
I feel, yeah, stupid, hated that so much.
Speaker 1 (01:35:19):
Speaking of Lindon, do you think Hannah's Thatcher's baby or
Lyndon's Maybe because I'm convinced he was drugging her before.
Speaker 2 (01:35:26):
And here's the thing, I never thought about it till
you mentioned it, but like he even mentions, So he
mentions at a certain point when he goes to Thatcher's
bachelor party, she's like, you shouldn't have been drinking on
your medicine, and he's like, I stopped taking it. So
it's like we know that he doesn't consistently take his medicine.
So he probably did have some saved up that he
(01:35:46):
could have been drugging her with if it wasn't for
the detail about her saying like she'd been having trouble sleeping.
Speaker 1 (01:35:53):
Maybe well, but she did, like she was talking about
how at times she was like, oh, I like sleep
so hard? Yes, so then and then like the time
she had that dream where he was in her room,
Like I think he low key because that your.
Speaker 2 (01:36:08):
Worst late's evidence.
Speaker 1 (01:36:11):
I think. I mean, she thinks she got pregnant on
that one trip. Yeah, it's hard to get an exact
day down. It could have been within that week. Yeah,
I'm like, and he's convinced it's his baby for some reason,
so even if it's not, I think he was assaulting
her in her sleep.
Speaker 2 (01:36:27):
Also, it's like, if you miss a couple of days
when you start back up, your bird's control is not
effective for like a week or some shit, because it's
like you, you fucked it up. So it's like you
have to get back on your regiment or whatever. So
if she did, like forget to take her pill for
a weekend, that's gonna be enough that it's going to
take a couple of days afterwards. So if he assaulted
(01:36:48):
her when they came back.
Speaker 1 (01:36:49):
If he's drugging her medications, will that too.
Speaker 2 (01:36:53):
We're supposed to mix that kind of shit. And if
she's been drinking too, and you're not supposed to drink
on him, like, who knows what's going to happen.
Speaker 1 (01:37:00):
Yeah, So I think it's something that I'm looking forward
to finding out in the next book that they cover.
Speaker 2 (01:37:05):
So far, no answer, Okay, we'll see it. Probably will
never come back up again because they like to introduce
these power plot lines and then do nothing with them.
Speaker 1 (01:37:14):
Literally, when they said like, oh, he's in the bedroom,
I was like, okay, perfect, they're gonna be like this
is his baby actually, and then they're like he thinks
it's his baby, and I'm like, great, we're gonna find out. Nope, nothing,
I fine.
Speaker 2 (01:37:26):
Yeah, hated that. Hate that? Yeah, hate it. Okay, here's
another thing. I hate what the fuck is up with
how they describe women in these books, because it's like
it's either like you're hot, or it's like, oh I
thought she was okay, but this someone else said she
was but ugly or she's super fat, or like this
is just the ugliest woman I've ever seen in my life.
(01:37:47):
And I'm like, why is she describing them like this?
Speaker 1 (01:37:51):
Oh, Lilla's a straight up bitch. And like when Holden
was like lollipop girls, but you're not like that, she
wasn't really like, hey, that's really fucked up way to
talk about women, Like these girls are our friends and
like a friend, yeah they're literally she's like we're friends.
And also but she's like, yeah, those girls are like
lollipop girls. And I'm so much better, Like she literally
(01:38:13):
thought they were like shallows. Yeah, She's like they're so
shallow and like my cousin's so shallow, and everyone's like
so stupid compared to me. And I'm like, girl, you're stupid.
Speaker 2 (01:38:21):
What Yeah, I really yeah, I hated that. It definitely
like it makes it obvious it's written by a man.
That and when she said not all.
Speaker 1 (01:38:30):
Men, yeah, I mean this ghostwriter is like, I'm an
old man and you can tell yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:38:36):
Yeah. And also Trump was mentioned in this book again, guys,
if anyone was fucking wondering, Yeah, and both of them,
I wonder if I wrote, I didn't write down what
page it was on, but I wrote Donald Trump.
Speaker 1 (01:38:49):
And this again because this old man loves Trump and
hates women.
Speaker 2 (01:38:54):
Yep, yep, yep, yep.
Speaker 1 (01:38:57):
Speaking of hating women, Lyndon was definitely poising his mom though, right,
like he's the reason she died. In my opinion, I
feel like they should.
Speaker 2 (01:39:04):
It would be such a good vc like trope and
it's like we know, like they didn't do an autopsy
or nothing, and if depending on what kind of medication
he was giving her or drugging her with, like that
could because she was a stroke, so tired.
Speaker 1 (01:39:18):
All the time, and I'm like, and he was donut
how he was making their food and he's drugging them both.
I really was is drugging everyone, And then the mom
kept getting sick because he just wants Willow to.
Speaker 2 (01:39:31):
Himself, especially like getting sick when Willow left, because then
of course will is not there to like watch or
say anything. Yeah, I believe it.
Speaker 1 (01:39:41):
I think, yeah, I'm like, he killed the mom. But no,
once again, they're not gonna get You're not gonna even
mention it. Okay, I think that's in there.
Speaker 2 (01:39:49):
Yeah, okay, Well here's another plot line that just got
brought up as a red herring. I guess did you also? Okay,
I first of all thought they would either just stay
married because I've like there's not a lot of divorce
in VC books. Or I thought that like Thatcher was
gonna get the house, or like she would stay married
so he wouldn't get the house because of that prenup shit.
Speaker 1 (01:40:09):
The house was the whole thing, because well, first of all,
they're like, oh, well, I real kept talking about, oh
he's marrying you for the house, because you know, he
was moving in. He was like, did he ever move
out because he was just gonna move back in anyways,
and then the prenup had it and I was like, oh,
that's gonna be a whole thing. He's gonna be like
just marrying her for the house. Nope, it's good, he leaves,
no problem. I just yeah, I thought it was like
(01:40:29):
a whole plot that his parents were in on to
get the house back. But nah, they are like, we're
actually moving out. Really cool, We're.
Speaker 2 (01:40:35):
Leaving right now. We are not saying another day, We're
leaving early, like.
Speaker 1 (01:40:39):
We are here, are cool with not having the house anymore?
Said I have had a big deal to us, and
also Thatcher's fine with the two so whatever.
Speaker 2 (01:40:45):
Yeah. I just that was so wild that it was
just like.
Speaker 1 (01:40:48):
Go somewhere. They set the whole thing up to be
a nothing, so you know, it's good to know.
Speaker 2 (01:40:52):
Yeah, stupid speaking of something.
Speaker 1 (01:40:54):
That was set up to be nothing. I didn't worry
disappointment how quickly the whole hostage thing was over, because
it's like one chapter.
Speaker 2 (01:41:00):
Literally, it's like the last like thirty pages.
Speaker 1 (01:41:02):
Yeah, Like when I texted you about it, I was like,
this is VC, but I also don't want to be
like but it's so quick.
Speaker 2 (01:41:08):
Yeah. Well, yeah, I read and I read a lot
of this, like at work. In the span of one night,
I read eighty percent of this book, and I when
it got to the divorce and stuff, I was like, okay,
we're in VC territory, like saw this coming and I
almost texted you about it. And then yeah, the kidnapping,
well hostage situation was surprising, and I was like, Okay,
(01:41:32):
I guess I should have seen this coming. Really, it's
been hinting, hinting, hinting at this forever, but like, yeah,
it was resolved instantly. She was a hostage for a day, like,
and that is.
Speaker 1 (01:41:43):
Like such a VC trope. She loves people being locked
up in a room. VC loves a locked up lady.
Speaker 2 (01:41:49):
Loves a locked up pregnant lady.
Speaker 1 (01:41:51):
Yeah, she loves a prisoner.
Speaker 2 (01:41:54):
Yeah, it's like the third pregnant lady that's been locked up.
Speaker 1 (01:41:57):
Yeah. VC does it every book. She loves to lock
the late. Yeah, but no, this one's like, don't worry.
Something's saved her like immediately, so it's all good.
Speaker 2 (01:42:05):
She wasn't like born and died in this one room.
She was just there for like.
Speaker 1 (01:42:09):
Yeah, I expected Hannah to be born in that room.
Speaker 2 (01:42:12):
But whatever, it's what I it's what I expected.
Speaker 1 (01:42:16):
Oh, okay, quotes possibly, So let's see what this is
all about. I have six well, I might have like twenty,
so we don't.
Speaker 2 (01:42:24):
Know what the fuck I don't know. I have a
lot mark, I guess. Well, my first one is on
page nineteen.
Speaker 1 (01:42:34):
That's before my first one. So why don't you just
go because I'm probably end up eliminating half of these.
Speaker 2 (01:42:38):
Yeah, that sounds about right. Well my first one, I said, Okay, RuPaul,
So let's see what RuPaul said. I have no idea
who she's talking to, but he's saying something. If we
don't love what we do, oh it's thatture, he told me,
then we don't love who we are. And the worst
fate of all is not liking yourself. Willow being trapped
(01:43:01):
in a body and being behind a face you despise. No,
I think this is about her dad. You hate the
sound of your own voice. You even come to hate
your own shadow. How can you ever hope to make
anyone else happy? Wife, children, friends if you can't make
yourself happy? And I was like damn.
Speaker 1 (01:43:19):
At first, I was like, what is this rout?
Speaker 2 (01:43:21):
Paul for But yes, every time there's a quote like that,
I'm like, if you handler herself the helling, I love
somebody else, canna get my man?
Speaker 1 (01:43:31):
I mean mine's different. But it was just this is
just a weird description as someone this, I was confused.
Page thirty eight. He sent his soft, well manicured strawberry
t world skinned hand to me and held onto mind
as he introduced himself and spoke highly of mister passenger.
What's strawberry strawberry world twirl tworld? Like strawberry twirrel skinned hand?
Speaker 2 (01:43:54):
What light pink?
Speaker 1 (01:43:56):
I guess, strawberry twirl?
Speaker 2 (01:44:00):
Am I a strawberry twirl?
Speaker 1 (01:44:02):
I was like, what is that?
Speaker 2 (01:44:04):
Maybe a strawberry twirled? Like what? I don't Yeah, I
remember that.
Speaker 1 (01:44:08):
I was like, what does this mean?
Speaker 2 (01:44:10):
What does that mean? Yeah, that's weird for sure. Okay,
my next one is on page thirty and I said,
preach it, so let's see what that's about. I would
not be happy with myself if I couldn't offer compassion
to everyone who needed it. But there are people who
are simply spoiled, rotten and just need a bit of
(01:44:31):
discipline more than they need extra tender, loving care. Their
loved ones don't do them any good. Catering to their
whims and moods. They just prolong the misery for everyone.
I agree with her on that one. Some people are
caddled a bit much and then they end up president
and no one knows how to say no to them.
Blah blah blah. We've all been there.
Speaker 1 (01:44:52):
Happens. You know what, what you gonna do? Nothing?
Speaker 2 (01:44:56):
Nothing?
Speaker 1 (01:44:57):
Okay, here's being mad about the Spanish. This is a
stupid Okay. I don't know if you've seen these things
on Instagram like I have, but to always like people
writing Spanish in a book and it'll be like, oh,
somebody says like somewhere and like, oh sorry. Sometimes I
just start speaking Spanish, like have you seen that on
his head? Oh? I see what. I want to send
it to you because this book is literally that, like
this is literally that. Oh god, Because they're like, that's
(01:45:20):
not how people like, that's.
Speaker 2 (01:45:22):
Not how it actually works.
Speaker 1 (01:45:23):
Yeah, how people speak too languages acts there. But yeah,
okay KG eighty seven moybn sometimes my Spanish and starts itself.
He quickly explained. Well, because you said very good at Spanish, I'm.
Speaker 2 (01:45:36):
Sorry when you say ohla, and people go, oh my god,
are you totally bilingual? Like are you what? Like, shut up,
we know Miguel.
Speaker 1 (01:45:46):
Need you to see one of these posts on Instagram
because it's literally I read this was like like that,
this is the Instagram.
Speaker 2 (01:45:53):
Yikes.
Speaker 1 (01:45:55):
Yes, oh sorry, sometimes I speak Spanish. Bitch. Okay, we
all know. We we've seen Dora, we know what moybia means.
Speaker 2 (01:46:02):
Like I'm sorry, all have a duelingo account. Okay, it's
not that special.
Speaker 1 (01:46:05):
It was basic Spanish and maybe I want to fucking scream.
He just says so much. That's the whole Spanish of
this book.
Speaker 2 (01:46:13):
Literally though. Okay. My next one was on page one
sixty five, and I said foreshadowing, Oh this is bunny,
I think love, she moaned, as if it were a
mythical idea, just an excuse for two people using each other.
I was like, girl, girl, but whatever, let's.
Speaker 1 (01:46:36):
Skip my quote about traffic lights.
Speaker 2 (01:46:37):
I guess, I guess we're always talking about traffic lights.
Speaker 1 (01:46:46):
Oh, don't worry, I got the dollar truck poot, thank god,
page one fifty one. Okay, she's right, Well, there's no
point in trying to hide anything from her. She has
eyes everywhere behind the highest walls. Even Donald Trump is
in sane.
Speaker 2 (01:47:06):
Like so unnecessary. Once again the only celebrity mentioned, and
it's like it has nothing to do with anything whatever.
My next one, I was on page one, sixty seven,
and I said, she's not wrong. I think this is Bunny.
Bunny's an icon. This one's funny. Okay, there isn't a
(01:47:27):
church that can hold all the people I want to
have attend. Besides, it's such a droll setting for a wedding.
A church, of course it is. They hold funerals in
it too, and everyone is so serious in a church.
And I was like, okay, he's not wrong.
Speaker 1 (01:47:42):
I also have that. But this next paragraph is what
I had perfect, I'll do it. I was gonna skip
me No. One's sixty seven. Also, it just occurred to
me that they don't know your religious affiliation. Do you
follow your father's faith? Are you Catholic? I know you
can't be Jewish, can you?
Speaker 2 (01:48:03):
Yeah? That part was also wild. And then she's like
my adopted what my adopted mother? And she's like okay, good.
Speaker 1 (01:48:11):
Yeah, She's like, well that avoids anything vulgar, like she's Italian.
She's like okay, yeah, she was like, oh my god,
are you jewish? Weight one is She's like, I never even.
Speaker 2 (01:48:23):
Asked, Bunny. Okay. My next one also insane. This is
page two thirty. This is a terrible gift to be given.
Glad you didn't give me this when you got married. Okay.
A friend of hers, whose daughter had married in Rome
recently had what she thought was a wonderful idea. A
(01:48:44):
picture of the bride and groom and their immediate families
put on the face of a table clock. That's the
bridesmaid gift.
Speaker 1 (01:48:51):
Yeah. I saw that. I was like, damn, that would
have been good.
Speaker 2 (01:48:55):
Here's the picture of me and my family to you someone.
Speaker 1 (01:48:58):
I want a whole ass family, I mean, and I
haven't renewed my vows just to do that.
Speaker 2 (01:49:06):
I don't know, Like what the fuck?
Speaker 1 (01:49:12):
It was like that seems crazy and she's.
Speaker 2 (01:49:14):
Like He's like no, And Bunny's like, okay, I'll make
one for me.
Speaker 1 (01:49:19):
She's like I want one though, so we are doing it. Okay.
My next one is concerning okay, page three twenty eight.
This is about them having sex on their second honeymoon.
Speaker 2 (01:49:32):
Oh, I know exactly which one of us do it?
Speaker 1 (01:49:34):
Yeah, did you have this one.
Speaker 2 (01:49:36):
No, but it was something that came up in reviews
because people were like, what the fuck?
Speaker 1 (01:49:41):
So here is Willow talking to her husband.
Speaker 2 (01:49:44):
Yeah, you act like you.
Speaker 1 (01:49:45):
Just gotta ask solitary confinement or something. I told him
if we weren't married, it would be more like a rape. What.
Speaker 2 (01:49:53):
I don't know if she really knows what that it
just means.
Speaker 1 (01:50:02):
Why would you say that?
Speaker 2 (01:50:03):
Like, are you okay?
Speaker 1 (01:50:05):
Is it not his sensual with your husband? It seems
like are you.
Speaker 2 (01:50:09):
Being a weren't married girl? You can still be raped
when you're married?
Speaker 1 (01:50:16):
Yeah, I'm like, I rather And I was like, what
the fuck is that in here?
Speaker 2 (01:50:21):
That was something where someone There was one where someone
said like the author needs to learn definitions and they
put that quote specifically and they were like, that's not
like that's fucked up anyways. My last quote is on
page three twenty and it's about Lindon. I already talked
(01:50:42):
about it, okay, And then I think, poor Lindon, he
doesn't deserve all this. She's done that to him, to
us both, and I'm like, girl, no, he has nude
pictures of you. And rightfully, so someone said, hey, this
seems incesty because it is Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:51:02):
Someone she shouldn't have this made, should not have gone
to the sister or a being like that, but she
maybe should have like been like, hey, Willow, I found these.
This is concerning to me. Do you need help? Yeah,
I'm gonna be ending on the rape one. That's great. Okay,
Oh good, don't worry. Here's a pregnancy one.
Speaker 2 (01:51:21):
Good.
Speaker 1 (01:51:26):
This one. I was just like, what a bitch. This
is Linden being a great caretaker. I'm suddenly very tired. Linden.
I announced, I think I'll skip dessert. I didn't make any.
He said, we gotta watch your weight, Willow. You will
thank me for that after you get birth, because it
will be easier for you to regrain your beautiful figure.
Your brother telling you that, witch?
Speaker 2 (01:51:43):
What my brother ever said that shit to me? I
would be running out the.
Speaker 1 (01:51:49):
You're pregnant, fuck you? But also why is your brother
saying that to you? Like?
Speaker 2 (01:51:53):
Girl, girl run?
Speaker 1 (01:51:57):
What a beautiful figure? Gag? Oh so fuck you. I'll
gain as much weight as I fucking want.
Speaker 2 (01:52:02):
Yeah, I'm growing a fucking child, a human.
Speaker 1 (01:52:05):
Being if I want, But don't talk about my figure.
Speaker 2 (01:52:09):
Disgusting. Okay, final thoughts. I read this while I was
at work, and boy was it boring, Like it's it
was actually not a bad one to read at work
because there wasn't a whole Like when there's not a
whole bunch of plot, it's easy to put the book down,
you know, to do work. But whatever, I knew from
(01:52:30):
the last book that Thatcher was going to cheat on
her as soon as like you started going on all
those business trips, especially on their fucking honeymoon. I was like, Oh,
he's cheating, duh obviously, And like, also, how dumb is
she that she gets married in this like twice in
the span of like what two years. Like she marries
her teacher after the baby's born. The kid's not that old.
(01:52:50):
She never mentions they're walking or talking or nothing, so
I'm assuming it's pretty early on that she marries her professor. Whatever.
I get, Like, it does work out. Like I said,
my parents got married within a year of meeting each
other and it's twenty years later.
Speaker 1 (01:53:05):
They're also like full adults at that cult.
Speaker 2 (01:53:10):
Yeah, I just I hope her second marriage works out. Whatever.
It does work sometimes, but who knows. She does get
a lot of dumb advice in this one. But I
think the stuff about them getting married too soon. She
should have maybe listened. I don't know. I do feel
like her mom was like living vicariously through her, and
that's kind of why she didn't question anything that Willa
(01:53:31):
was doing and told her she was making nothing but
great decisions. Yeah whatever. I also hate how she wanted
to be independent so badly that she refused to get
help with anything. I get maybe she's like twenty one whatever,
she's young, and it's like, girl, no one expects you
to know how to do everything, Like I get there's
(01:53:52):
some weird help that's being offered to you, but like,
take some fucking help, Like, no one expects you to
be able to do everything perfectly or try stupid.
Speaker 1 (01:54:00):
Yeah, yeah, no she is. She might literally just be
twenty max. Like did they even Yeah, they're not married
for very long, maybe twenty one by the time she has.
Speaker 2 (01:54:10):
Her baby, but like not very old.
Speaker 1 (01:54:13):
No. Yeah. So this book again not VC enough. It
got VC at the end, but then it was over immediately.
Like I wanted her to be held hostage until that
baby was born. I wanted to be a whole thing.
I want them to be half the book, Like I
want her to be locked in that room. Yeah, everyone
did warn her, but she was like, I'm so smart
at my brother, like doesn't need anything but me. He
(01:54:35):
hadn't made pictures of you. He had pictures even on
the fucking toilet. Anyone dul whether or not he's mentally ill.
I'm sorry you're taking pictures of me while I'm on
the toilet. You're out of here.
Speaker 2 (01:54:44):
You're not really anyone anyone that packs pictures of me
on the toilet. You're out.
Speaker 1 (01:54:49):
You're like, I don't care, I don't care who you are.
You're out. That's gross, that's weird. That is a weird.
That didn't say an invasion of privacy. I hate that.
I mean, yeah, sure that's your sex. But you know
what he didn't do. He didn't take pictures of around
the fucking toilet.
Speaker 2 (01:55:05):
It's true.
Speaker 1 (01:55:06):
So is he really that bad? No, she should have
got back with him.
Speaker 2 (01:55:11):
He is the lesser of two evils. I will admit that.
Speaker 1 (01:55:13):
Yes, obviously Miguel was the best choice, but is he
really because he's her professor and he did immediately marry her.
Speaker 2 (01:55:19):
Literally, I was like, she needs friends, and I don't
think your fucking teacher who wants to fuck you is
the best option.
Speaker 1 (01:55:25):
No, she should. She hung out with those twins like twice.
Speaker 2 (01:55:28):
And was like, goes down, I've been lonely they see.
Speaker 1 (01:55:33):
And then she was like, oh, bitch to those four
women who were nice to her, hang out with them.
They're your true friends.
Speaker 2 (01:55:39):
Especially they told you about your cheating husband. They're your
right or dies.
Speaker 1 (01:55:44):
And she's like, they weren't there for me when my
mom died. Yeah, okay, but you also are never hanging
out with them, so they don't know you that well.
They were just looking out for you that one time.
But yeah, I mean, girl has nothing but bad. Yeah,
nothing but bad. Like judgment, Girl, these better judgment. I'm
pretty sure your brother kills your mom. Girl like get out.
Speaker 2 (01:56:05):
Yeah, I wonder if that'll come up. I hope.
Speaker 1 (01:56:06):
So it hasn't fun, It hasn't fucking I'm like half
I'm over halfway through. Hasn't yet, don't you know all
the drama?
Speaker 2 (01:56:12):
Apparently it's in the last twenty seconds, so.
Speaker 1 (01:56:14):
Maybe maybe the last chapter is really young Get Wild.
There is more drama. There's more drama in the beginning
of the next one. I'll give you that, But you
know what, I don't like the drama that's in the
beginning of it.
Speaker 2 (01:56:23):
It's not for me to Okay, well, I'll start it
and I'll find out, I guess because yeah, you got
any more words? Are you done?
Speaker 1 (01:56:33):
If I'm done?
Speaker 2 (01:56:35):
Yeah, I feel like that. Okay, there's gonna be more.
We're gonna finish out this series. We've done other VC
andrews that might be better than this series.
Speaker 1 (01:56:46):
Maybe My Sweet Audrina classic classic, My Sweet Audrina is
my favor possible, unhinged crazy, I mean, like no incest
protect for the most part. Only Look, they only a
little incest, only a little. Yeah, but a lot of
staircase deaths. And that's the best part.
Speaker 2 (01:57:07):
I love the staircase drama. We love a cursed staircase. Yeah,
so go back for that one. No, there's a lot
more bad like bad themes in those books, but crazier blocks, crazy,
crazy shit. You can find those wherever. You listen to podcasts.
(01:57:27):
While you're there, give us a little five star review.
Why not tell us which VC andrews you want us
to cover next. There's quite a bit of them.
Speaker 1 (01:57:35):
Yep, and they're all her ghost writer because we've.
Speaker 2 (01:57:37):
Read all for it, read the ogs.
Speaker 1 (01:57:39):
The girl died too soon? All right? Hey, ABC leg Yeah,
next week we are continuing the series by reading Twisted Roots.
It's a jump ahead in the future.
Speaker 2 (01:57:49):
So is it a daughter's point of view?
Speaker 1 (01:57:51):
Yeah, it's from a daughters.
Speaker 2 (01:57:52):
That's what I thought.
Speaker 1 (01:57:53):
Hamma, Yes, it's about Hannah. Hannah, it's a bitch, you
can britty littleteen. Do you hate her? Yeah, you're gonna
hate her. But do you also hate Willow? Yeah, you're
gonna hate Willow.
Speaker 2 (01:58:08):
Hey. I love to hate a protagonist, so.
Speaker 1 (01:58:11):
Hate them all. So far, is anyone like well, Miguel's
all right, there's.
Speaker 2 (01:58:15):
Terrible moms in every single Bacy books, so it's not
surprising Willow would kind of suck.
Speaker 1 (01:58:20):
Yeah, but also Hannah has it coming shit oh shit, yeah,
so stay tuned for that. Will it get crazy? I hope.
So I'm hoping for our teen pregnancy.
Speaker 2 (01:58:33):
Cross your fingers.
Speaker 1 (01:58:35):
Yeah. And if you want to find us on Instagram,
we can epical podcast online up Nope, TikTok at Boko Pod,

Oh my god, the future is now. So thanks for listening.
Speaker 1 (01:58:52):
You are now married and divorced. For your twenty five
I guess, I guess two times married and time divorced.
You know what? Fine?
Speaker 2 (01:59:04):
Yeah, no takesies back.
Speaker 1 (01:59:07):
Girls making choices, quick.
Speaker 2 (01:59:09):
Making choices. She is not second guessing herself.
Speaker 1 (01:59:12):
Oh, it's barely been single. She went from one relationship
to one relationship to one relationship.
Speaker 2 (01:59:17):
Yeah, she hops yeps.
Speaker 1 (01:59:19):
And her brother was like, hop on me next, but
she said no.
Speaker 2 (01:59:22):
He said I'm in line, and she said you're not.
Speaker 1 (01:59:24):
I'm skipping that one.
Speaker 2 (01:59:27):
Yeah,
