Speaker 1 (00:51):
Welcome back for episode four of the Boston Handicappers podcasts
that we're doing the NFL Preview. We're gonna touch on
every single division. We'll touch on the super Bowl picks,
our conference picks, and everything in between. We're not gonna
touch on every single team, but we're gonna touch on
every single play that we've made so far this year
for the NFL in division. That includes division winners, win totals,

(01:15):
conference plays, and of course season long player props as well.
Anything that you guys have award winners. Do I have
a fun award winner that I do like as well.
That's still available market, So we'll touch upon all that.
Let's start off with the AFC North guys, and of
course we have the Cincinnati Bengals, the Baltimore Ravens, the

(01:35):
Pittsburgh Steelers, and of course everyone's favorite, the Cleveland Browns.
Let's start there, Jules, I'll start with you on the
AFC North. Anything that you like in the AFC North
win totalized division wise, anything there?

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Yeah, I went right to a division winner here. I
bet some minus one thirty on Baltimore to win it.
What do we like? Minus one fifty, minus one sixty now,
and the more I see, the more I'm fine laying
it with Baltimore almost by default. And I like Baltimore.
That's why I bet them initially. They're a great regular
season team, have been for a while. I like what

(02:13):
they have in place. The Lamar Jackson Derrick Henry Combo
is just the last thing you want to see when
you're trying to tackle guys, especially as the game wears on.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Minus one fifty five by the way, okay.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
One fifty five, split it right down the middle. I'm
good with that. Minus one fifty five Baltimore win the
division is a bet for me. Like, the more we
see the Bengals are gonna ramp things up and play
that first preseason game against Eagles backups. They can't even
win the first half. Everybody bets since the first half
they can't even win the first half. We watched that
game together or had that game on the night that

(02:45):
we were together. They like, the Bengals defense is still bad.
All this Burrow MVP hype, I get it in theory,
but you need to win like twelve plus games to
win MVP, and I don't think since he's gonna do that.
So if you want to bet Burrow, bet them to
lead the league in passing yards or touchdowns or whatever.
I think that's a fine bet. Those are like five
to six to one type bets. I'm not in with
the Bengals hype. Pittsburgh with Aaron Rodgers, I can't do it,

(03:08):
and the Browns I won't even throw in there in
terms of a threat to win the division. So I'm
down on Pittsburgh. I'm down on Cincy, and Baltimore has
done nothing. You know, coach quarterback, I'll even we don't
throw running backs in there in the NFL much, but
the running back makes a difference here. All make a
difference on this team, and they have a good defense.

(03:28):
Baltimore to win the AFC North is just a play
almost by default for me.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
I lean that way as well. Set anything for you
in the AFC North.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
Yeah you got.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
I mean, I think both of you guys are gonna
hate this, But I played it, and I kind I
kind of forgot about it because I played it like
a month and a half ago, probably after a couple
of Vivas Aviva play. Yeah, and it's actually the Steelers
I bet over.

Speaker 3 (03:55):
Eight and a half.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Oh yeah, I knew you're gonna hate it, and I'm
totally totally fine with that. But I feel like if
he gets off to the right start Rogers, that's so
I'm obviously talking about.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
And start with the Jets, I like him week one.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
So I think the schedule actually pairs out, plans out,
and we've we've talked about this for them, We've talked
about this before.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
I like, if you're betting it over, I like a
good start. If you're betting an under, I like a
bad start. That's kind of obvious, but it sets the
tone for the season.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
And listen, like last year in New York, I think
all three of us kind of thought that would that
would never work. But you actually have somebody uh as
a head coach with a brain right now. And if
if Tomlin and Rogers could be on the same page
and he could not, you know, get in his powdy,
throw his helmet and you know it's it's everybody else's

(04:49):
fall and point in the finger. I really think that
the talent is there to win some game. So like
you get Metcalf, you got Woods, you got awesome, you
have some targets there, you have Friar move that the
All American tight end out of Penn State, and the
defense is always going to be the defense for pitt
And I really like the Jack Sawyer I mean, I

(05:12):
know Dan and I are huge Ohio State guys.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
I really like the Jack Sawyer could pick up.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
I mean, I think he's going to get some time
and I think he's going to have impact on games
for this Pittsburgh team here. So over eight and a half,
I think is very attainable. Tom win, you know, we
see what he does year in and year out. Somehow
with the rosters that he has, they just wins games somehow.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
Good. I'm opposite a CT. I am massive on the
under here. I hate Aaron Rodgers. I think that he's done.
I think that we saw it last year. I think
that we've seen that he's just kind of done. He's
not no longer an NFL quality quarterback. I think they
kind of signed him by default. I think they downgraded
a wide receiver. I think Pickens is a pain in
the ass, but I think he does more. He has

(06:00):
a more diverse route tree and does more things than metcalfs.
So I think while metcalf might be more explosive, I
think he got worse. I think the running back room
got worse, the offensive line room got worse. Arthur Smith
I continue to think as a blithering, fucking moron. I
don't know how they were able to do what they
did last year with him. I think this is gonna
be a disaster. I have them around four or five

(06:20):
wins this year.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
Look at their look.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
Look at look at their schedule. Guys. They face arguably
two non playoff teams, sorry three, the Jets, the Browns,
And if you want to throw them in.

Speaker 3 (06:37):
There, Browns twice.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
Sure, the Browns twice. And if you want to throw
them in there, I guess the Patriots, the Colts.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
You think the Colts are a playoff team because I.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Don't know the Colts right now? Are e naf windeled?
I mean, they're a playoff contender.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Against the Colts.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
I'm just saying a playoff contender, Dave. Here's their schedule Seattle,
New England, Minnesotacinnati, Cincinnati, Green Bay, Indy at LA Cincinnati
again at Chicago, Buffalo at Baltimore, Detroit, Baltimore. I mean,
I just I disagree. I think this team sucks. I

(07:14):
think they're I think they're in a lot of trouble.
I do so they but they're We've been now teetering
on the tom and line for a while, right, We've
been teetering, teetering, teetering. It kind of broke last year,
and I think this is like the full damn breaks
this year. I think tom One gets fired after this year, potentially.
So I'm I'm very on the under against me Nevers,

(07:38):
that's our first.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
That'll be fun that. I love how they grab k
Johnson to I do.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
I do like that addition. But he has been very
bad in camp. But I disagree. I still think he'll be.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
I still think he's gonna be just fine. I do.
I love him at Iowa real quick. I do have
a player prop in the division is the Bengals. I
took Chase brown Or for nine hundred rushing yards he
had and a half. Sure, yeah, nine hundred and a half.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Sorry tracking purposes.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
He ran for nine to ninety last year in sixteen games.
Zach Moss began the year as the starter. He didn't
really get in the mix for five to six gets.
He was in the mix, he didn't really get heavily
involved for five or six games. Uh, now he's the guy.
Moss is gone. This is the feature back in Cincinnati.
This is an offense that's gonna be high flying. The
defense is gonna give up points, so they're gonna keep

(08:30):
going after it. This is a play as many overplays
for me on season long are. If he does not
get hurt, he's going to go over.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
Okay, Yeah, that's an interesting one. Do you guys have
anything else in the AFC North? I lean nope. Okay.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
I agree with Jules on the Ravens to win the division.
I mean I agree, that's what the Ravens are. They're
a regular season team. Yeah, Wagons, regular season Wagon I agree.
I think that that's a I think that's a good bet.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
I think they probably win the division. Yeah, I think,
you know, the sharpest betting division has been so far
this offseason has been Cincinnati to not make the playoffs,
which I think is an interesting one. Like they're like
plus one one seventy one sixty in that range, was
very sharp from the right. All right, guys, who's your
division winner? Jewels? We know you have the Ravens CT
of the Ravens, yep, I have the Ravens. All right,

(09:17):
let's go. Let's let's move on to the AFC South.
I gotta be honest with you, guys. I'm lost in
this fucking division. I just I don't know what the
fuck is gonna happen this one. This is probably my
least confident division about in the entire NFL. We got
the Titans, the Texans, the Jaguars, and the Colts CT.
I'll start with you. Anything in the AFC South this

(09:39):
week or this year? Excuse me.

Speaker 4 (09:40):
I don't have any bets in the in this division currently,
but I think that, you know, it's worth noting a
couple of things. I think the offensive line is going
to be a big time problem, uh for Stroud and
the Texans. I don't think that's fixed at all. And
I think the Colts are a mess, kind of like
what we were just talking about. Like I think between
Richardson and Danny Dimes, I don't know what direction they're

(10:03):
gonna go in, and I don't care which one it is.
Whoever it is is not the answer. I just don't
see it with this Colts team. And I do think
the Jags take a step forward here defends on what
Cohen brings to the table, but I feel like he
might be, you know, a good fit for this team.
I think Lawrence, if he could stay healthy, probably has

(10:23):
a decent year.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
I think that's the key. That's the key for the
Jacksonville Jaguars is for Trevor Lawrence to stay healthy, which
is just kind of an issue because you never really
fucking know what you're gonna get with this dude and
his health. I think that's a that's a major issue.
But Jules, what do you anything for you in this division?
And what your thoughts are.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
One team for me in the division, it's fading the Colts.
There was an eight flat eight flat that popped up
I played under they're not beating me at nine and seven,
and I'm fine with plus money on under seven and
a half. The quarterback position, Anthony Richardson isn't the guy
you can go to Danny Dimes. That's not gonna work.
Uh So, yeah, I'm Colts under the win total. Again,

(11:05):
I did play some eight flat that was minus one
thirty plus money on under seven and a half. You
can do that. I'm okay with it. Minus two forty
to miss the playoffs, I am okay with I know
it's a bad division. Maybe it's a fluke division winner.
I don't think it's gonna I don't. I don't. I
don't believe in the Colts at all. I think they
could wind up being last in the division.

Speaker 4 (11:25):
A good friend of the three of us, I don't
name names, was just telling Dan a couple of weeks ago,
and Dan and I a couple of weeks ago, how
the Colts are going to win the division.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
I know, I know this friend. That friend told me
that as well, and I said, that's probably not gonna happen, laughing.
That's just I think that's the worst take.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
I don't. I don't believe in Anthony Richardson and I
certainly don't believe in Danny Dimes, but I don't know
man to me, so I have nothing in this division
except for one award future here. I do think Nico
Collins offensive player of the year. Anything about that one
is an interesting take. I think he's their entire offense.
I do have one interesting tidbit for you guys in

(12:03):
this one. Joe Mixon is not playing this year.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Uh yeah, Well that's an interesting running back situation, whether
you're you want to talk like fantasy drafts here or
player props like Mixon Chubb season might not play, but
what if Chubb, like can you fully trust?

Speaker 1 (12:18):
I think is going to get a lot of carry there.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
And they also have a rookie. They also have a
rookie that they like. You guys, let me look, let
me find trust Chubb at all.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
No, I don't think so either. So that that's what
I'm saying. I don't know where the fuck this division
ends up. I think that this team is gonna be
a throwing a lot of footballs, and I think Nico
Collins is by far the best player in that on
that offense. But I think again, Higgins has been impressive,
Kirk has been good. Noel has been good. They're big
fans there. But yeah, Nixon, I can confidently say, is

(12:50):
out for the year.

Speaker 3 (12:51):
I'm probably thinking of the wrong team on the rookie
running back, but they have don't They have Damian Pierce
in the mix, so like.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
Dalon Schultz as well. So there over, this.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
Is gonna their backfield is gonna be in an interesting
They're gonna throw.

Speaker 1 (13:04):
The ball a million fucking times. That's what they're gonna do.
They're gonna throw the ball a million fucking times. They're
gonna try and get a million fucking Saxon turnovers. That
that's that's what the Texans do. I still way in
Texas to win the division, but I got nothing. Yeah,
I have no win totals at all. I just have
the Eco Collins and twenty to one or better. I
think is good. On the offense.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
Player, I know you're gonna make us pick a winnerd In.
I think I have to pick Houston by the fault
because I can't pick Indy, I can't pick Tennessee, and
so it does.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
Trevor Larns.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
Yeah, does Jacksonville make the strides. I think they have
a really interesting offense, But Uh. I think Houston will
still be too much, but this could be one of
those eight to nine division winner type of situations.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Any any chance cam Ward wins the division rookie year. No,
I don't think so either, but he kind of He's
looked okay in the preseason.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
He has looked okay. Yeah, I must say, yeah, who
you I'll go. Jags just uh to switch, But I
think are gonna make some strides. And if Lawrence is
healthy and Cohen isn't brain dead, you know they have
a shot to win here.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
I don't disagree. I think I legituinely think any team
can win this division. Probably except for the Titans, I'd
say probably, But I think I think everyone else is
live because I have no idea what's gonna happen. So
all right, let's move on to the AFC West. We'll
start with the Kansas City Chiefs, who are favorites to
minus one ten, but the Denver Broncos right behind them

(14:26):
plus two eighty LA Chargers plus three thirty and the
Las Vegas Raiders eleven to one. Guys. A very popular
play amongst everyone right now is Kansas City to miss
the playoffs, which I think is including our guy Joe Mara,
who loves that one. I think it's becoming a little
bit become too popular. But I'm still down a little
bit on this Kansas City team. That being said, kind

(14:51):
of down on another team in this Division two. But
I'm gonna let Jewels start in this one. Jewels, do
you have anything in the AFC West?

Speaker 3 (14:55):
This Ikne, you're gonna let me start. I'm flipping through
everything I have bet right now. Okay, we want me
to start with CT. No, you don't need to because
I don't have an AFC West bet. I've not been.
I'm going through and I bet a lot of player props.
I've got like fifteen player props in front of me.
I've not bet anything in the AFC West. So I'm
full pass here, all.

Speaker 1 (15:15):
Right, CT, I'll move over to you. Anything you bet in.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
The AFC West, Yeah, I did, And it's a team
that you just brought up, Dan and everybody is down
on them this year, and that's the Kansas City Chiefs.
So I, on the other hand, I'm going to continue
to back the team. Okay with one of the best
triggerman of our absolute lifetime generation, a top five head

(15:40):
coach of all time and a team that's made was
it seven now seven straight AFC championship games until they
proved me wrong.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
I will go back to them.

Speaker 4 (15:53):
And I actually think that this year's team, the twenty
twenty five version of the Chiefs, is going to be
better than the team from last year. And obviously they're not.
They're not gonna win uh as many close games as there.
I don't think there's any possible way that they go
where they go eleven and eleven and zero.

Speaker 3 (16:13):
And in the one score, one score game.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
They're gonna have.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
Some regression there.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
But I think if Rashi Rice plays at least, let's
say a little more than half of the season, that
he's one third of an unreal wide receiver room, and
you add in uh Mahomes playing behind the elite offensive line,
I think that's you know, recipe for an absolute explosion

(16:41):
on the offensive side of the ball. After Mahomes is
coming off kind of a down year, you know you're
what you're gonna get on the defensive side of the ball.
With spags around the show, there's just been no love
for the Chiefs this offseason. It's all Ravens, it's all Bills,
it's all oh, Chargers Denver. They're gonna win this division.
So I don't agree with that. As long as fifteen

(17:03):
is taking the snaps and fairly healthy. I don't think
you count the Chiefs out. They're my AFC champion. I
think they're gonna be in the super Bowl again this year.
And I bet minus won ten to win the West.
Do you know that the Chiefs have won nine straight
division titles. It's the almost Patriots level.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
Brady, No, it's not almost.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
I mean they are going to make it ten, Dan,
So put CT down to win the West. Minus won
ten is a play Chiefs.

Speaker 3 (17:31):
Yeah, So if I bet anything in this division, it
would be Chiefs to win the division. And Dan's gonna
make me pick a winner. So my winner is Chiefs
and I'll probably see he probably just talk me into
a bet bet too.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
I have a very strong take in this division. It's
not anything to do with Kansas City, I agree. I
think I'm I do not have Kansas City winning the AFC.
Definitely not that strong. But I do think I think
they're gonna get down. I think that's where they're probably
going to struggle a little bit is in the playoffs.
I just think they're starting to be a little bit
unbuilt for that, but they have Patrick Mahomes, and that's
Patrick Mahomes. So I don't many super strong takes on

(18:04):
Kansas City. My strong take is on Denver, and again
I'm the guy who fades the hype. I love bo Nicks.
He was my fucking guy. I picked him to win off.
I picked him the win offensive Rookie the Year last year.
I loved him. I say he's gonna be really good
quarterback in the league, and I think he is. But
now we're getting fucking ridiculous the Denver Broncos at nine
and a half wins. You're telling me this team is

(18:26):
gonna win ten games in a division where I think
every single team vastly improved. Kansas City got Rashie Rice.
I think the Chargers got vastly better. Even though they've
had Slater, They've had some injuries there. They're probably gonna
be struggling a little bit at the beginning of the year,
but I think they've still gotten They're still a significantly

(18:46):
better team than they were last year. And no doubt
Vegas has gotten better. I mean it's not even close.
Quarterback is much improved, running back room is much improved,
that whole team is much improved. So now you're expecting
men to win ten games in division where every other
team has gotten better, and you're expecting bo Knicks to
not have any sort of drop off in a second

(19:06):
year with a lot of tape on him. Even I
think that's ridiculous. I love the Denver under nine and
a half wins, and even money, I will take a
two unit bet on Denver under nine and a half wins.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
This is our first two unit play.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
That's my first, my first two unit play, all three
of us. No, you've had one, you had one, yeah,
So to me, this is just yep, too much. This
is getting ridiculous. I think Denver loses. If you want
to talk, if you don't think Kansas City wins a division,
that's fine with me. I would say you have a

(19:42):
better chance of the Chargers winning the division than Denver.
I think at this point, I think it's just getting
wildly overblown. How you know how good this Denver team is?
Just everyone needs the pedal down a little bit. Talking
about generational defense is what I heard the other day
in the preseason game from the commentators. Jesus Christ just
can we can we relax a little bit? They have

(20:03):
they haven't just have not.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
One Titan though, because I have that teased a lot
of times, I get it.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
I mean I think they I think they win that game.
I'm not telling you they're not gonna I don't. I'm
not telling you they're gonna be no wins. I'm just
the hype on them is is just getting is a
little ridiculous. Jewels, like they have a very year. The
back end of that schedule is fucking brutal, and so
was the middle. So I'm just I'm all sad. I

(20:30):
will take the under. I think this team is probably
an eight to nine win team. Uh ten ten just
way too much under for me on Denver anything else
in the NFC West, guys, Jewels, you're picking uh Kansas City,
see to You're picking Kansas City.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
Yeah, I mean I just gave a Casey out minus
one ten to win the conference, I mean, or win
the division. Like that's my only play. I'm not banging
them over their win total.

Speaker 3 (20:53):
I'm not.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
I think they're gonna be the AFC champion, not not
giving that out.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
My play is Casey to win the West minus one ten.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
YEP.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
Hey, guess what, guys, I just bet Kansas City to
win the AFC West minus one time. Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
So I'm not gonna bet that, but Kansas City is
might pick. I am a vision too. I like Kansas City.
They're they're pretty much on the Patriots rue. Last year,
I bet them over because I said, you just bet
the over every year like the Patriots. I think they're
down this year. I'll probably be back on the over
next year. But whatever we'll see. I could I could
be easily be wrong, and they'll probably win thirteen fucking
games like they always do because that's what they do.

(21:28):
All right, Let's move over to the AFC East guys,
CT I'll start with you again. I know you have
some feelings about this division, I believe, so I'll start
with you and uh your thoughts on this division. I
have three very strong Diggs in this division, so I
will I'll let you guys start with this one.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
Sure, and you know, probably listeners getting a little irritated
listening to us talk about the this division because it's
you know, close to home. But I bet Patriots mine
are under eight and a half minus one ten. We've
talked about this on all the shows that we've done
so far and all the hits that we've done, and

(22:09):
I'm a firm believer in Vrabel and I think that
this is the Patriots are going in the right direction.
But I just think this is too much to ask
for a first year coach to come in here with
a second year trigger man, you're quote unquote best player
who's now having uh, you know, reported problems on and

(22:30):
off the field, Sefon Diggs coming off the ACL injury.

Speaker 3 (22:35):
I just think this is a lot to ask Dan.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
And I know, like they're they're favorite and well ten
to eleven games, but Jules had had a great point
the other night when we did Sammy's pod. Uh, the
majority of those games, Dan, they're favored by two and
a half three points, so those are you know, almost
almost pick them games here. And I just don't think
that this is gonna be a team that, you know,

(23:01):
could just roll the balls out and all of a
sudden just be flying high with Drake may as as
taking the snaps and scoring all these points. And I'm
not really sold on the defense yet either. I still
think there's problems, and there's big problems on the offensive line.
There's a chance that they're starting three rookies on the
offensive line, Like you did not fix the problem, So

(23:25):
I just don't see it right now. So under eight
and a half is a is a play for me.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
Okay, Jules, what about you?

Speaker 3 (23:33):
You guys know I bet the Pat's over seven and
a half at open I came back with a little
more than half of that on under eight and a half.
Eight and nine team would sure be good for my
pockets threading the needle. Yeah, I do think the eight
and a half is too lofty. I saw the opener,
I knew where it was gonna go. I did what
I felt I had to do, so it's not really

(23:56):
much of a take there, so I'll essentially pass on
the wind total. I'm not gonna tell you to bet
anything at this stage. I do have a couple of
player props in the division Jets wise, I took Breshall
under nine hundred and a half rushing yards. He's starting
to really share time. Braylen Allen was supposed to be

(24:19):
a breakout guy last year. He didn't. He's in the mix. Now.
That's gonna be a bad team. They're gonna be playing
from behind. He's had injury issues in his pro career.
He took a lot of carries. Obviously, he's got a
lot of miles on his legs for his age coming
out of Iowa State. He has played in games since
his rookie year. I played his under, I got lucky,

(24:40):
he got hurt, only played seven games. He's played seventeen
and sixteen since then. But I just think the way
they split this up, and he had eight hundred and
seventy six yards last year in the sixteen games, so
he stayed under this number. I just think the way
the carries break up and the way the game scripts
are gonna go, and fields is going to run the
ball himself some breshall under nine hundred and a half
yards is a play for for me and the other one.

(25:02):
I went Buffalo wide receiver Keon Coleman over seven to
twenty five and a half. Okay, you're gonna explain that
one receiving yards. I can explain it to you. That's
literally what we do on this podcast.

Speaker 1 (25:15):
So go fuck yourself rookie year, Now explain it to me.
Like I'm in the eady who asked the question.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
That's generally what I do when it's my turn to
talk thirteen games thirteen games as a rookie, he only
caught twenty nine passes on fifty seven targets in thirteen games.
That's not good, which is probably why Dan doesn't like
the over here. So all that said, he still had
five hundred and fifty six yards. If he plays in

(25:43):
sixteen seventeen games and can get a little bit more
on the same page as Josh Allen, as you would
think he would going into a sophomore season, catch more
than twenty nine of fifty seven targets, you're pacing way
higher in that wide receiver room. Khalil Shakir was the
guy that I met over last year that hit. He's
a little dinged up. You got Elijah Moore, Curtis Samuel

(26:04):
in the wide receiver room. I think that Keon Coleman.
You spend that first pick of the second round on
a guy like that, he's going to be in the
mix more. That is ideally their wide receiver one two.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
Probably Shakira is probably still.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
Shakiir is still the guy, but he's they're totally different players.
Put it that way, So you know, if he plays
in the bulk of the games, if he got five
hundred and fifty six yards on twenty nine receptions last year.
I don't think he needs to catch that many balls
to get to seventh over seven to twenty five. I
think that's a little light on him. No guy, all right,
I actually I also I also am somewhat down on

(26:41):
Buffalo compared to market. If you want to bet under
twelve and a half at minus one fifty, I think
that's fine. I think there's gonna be losses mixed in there,
and I don't think the defense is very good. So
if they get into some of these shootouts, even if
they wind up winning the games, Keon Coleman's gonna be
a part of that.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
There was some twelve and a half almost even money
the other day that we took, very very small but nonetheless. Okay,
I go. I have two very strong takes, one medium take.
I'll start. I am one hundred percent of agree move
with CT. I am down on the Patriots under eight
and a half two unit play probably should be a
three unit play. But I'm also gonna play Patriots to

(27:16):
miss the playoffs minus one seventy five as well. This
is not a playoff team. Their three win team last
year should not have been a four win team. Their
three win team. They won a fourth game because Buffalo
literally handed you the fucking game against Joe Millen. Okay,
so I want to stop hearing the four win team
their three win team. Okay, they added a lot this year.
I like the coach a lot. I like the players

(27:38):
a lot. I like what they did, but they're still
bad at the wide receiver spot, bad at the offensive
line spot, a complete utter. You know you who knows
the linebacker Spotaline. I like Spilane. But still, and they
can't stop the run right now. I mean it's only
been two preseason games, but it's against second and third stringers.
They can't stop the run. Like I think they're gonna

(28:00):
have difficulty stopping the run Zolak was talking about With
the mccordy's, they all agree they're gonna have trouble stopping
the run, even with the addition of Milon Williams. So
I think this is gonna be a team strolos stopping
the run. They're gonna run the football a lot. They're
gonna play ball control, which I love. I think Travon
Henderson is the best rookie running back of this class.
Fuck you, Ashton Janet. Give me Trevion every single time,

(28:22):
best pass protector, most explosive player. I love him. I
think he's gonna be a stud. But he's a rookie
and he's gonna be splitting times. So not to mention
Drake may have we all watched him in the preseason
as Drake may look good at all. No, No, he hasn't.
He's been bad. And by the way, I don't think
this is a function on Drake may. I think it's
your function on Josh McDaniels, a bona fide fucking moron

(28:47):
that you brought in to run your offense. He fucking
blows again. Outside of Brady, he's had two good years.
One year with Matt Castle, with Wes Walker and Randy
Moss and one year with Matt Jones. Most short field
touchdowns in NFL history still by a wide margin. He's
a terrible offensive coordinator, terrible, and I think there's gonna

(29:10):
be a lot of issues this year learning that playbook.
Three offensive free offensive rookies on the offensive line. CT
you mentioned Will Campbell has looked better in the second game.
He still gets gunn dominated in the in the practices,
so again against actual first stringers. I want to see
him be able to hold up on an island against
first stringers. I don't know if you can do it.

(29:32):
Jared Wilson has struggled. Now you're right. Tackle Morgan Moses
is in and out, like there's a good chance you
could have a rookie starting there or are a backup
starting there. The offensive line is still gonna struggle. Man,
this this is gonna be a mess all year. They're
gonna be a six to seven win football team. Everyone
who is a Patriots fan should be pleased with that progress.
But expecting him to be nine to ten wins making playoffs,

(29:55):
you guys are fucking nuts. Like just teams don't make
jumps like that in the NFL. It's just that's ridiculous.
It's a ridiculous expectation. So way down on the Patriots
under no playoffs, Love both of them. And then I'm
over on the Miami Dolphins. Now I'm the opposite. Everyone
is way too down on this team. Still they have
a bad secondary one hundred percent, but offensively still elite

(30:18):
elite running back, elite wide receivers, a borderline elite offensive line,
quarterbacks mediocre. You don't need anything else. You just need
to score points, and that's what they do. They have
a great defensive line still. They just brought in Matthew Judah,
who will be a good a good situational pass rusher
for them. I think I really like this team. They
have a very easy schedule compared to the rest of

(30:39):
the division, which is I think is absurd. You can
get seven and a half wins at circa right now,
but eight wins right now over eight wins even is
basically even money minus one ten. I'll take Miami over
eight wins, and by the way, I will sprinkle very
very small like a quarter unit, play Miami to win
the division six and a half one or better. I

(31:02):
like Buffalo. I agree with Jules, and I think Buffalo
is gonna win, but I think Miami is being really
slept on here and I think Miami is gonna be
a very good team this year. I also bet Mike
McDaniels Coach of the Year fifty to one. I think
that's a good price. He fits the quantities that you need,

(31:23):
basically all the qualities that you need where you're looking
for win, total situation improvement of wins. Did you make
the playoffs. He fits all the potentials for the Coach
of the year situation. So I like Mike McDaniels fifty
to one Coach of the year. There's still some thirty
to one. I think I'd take it down to thirty
to one. I'd still think that's a betterable price. Anything
better than that or anything worse than that, probably wouldn't bet.

(31:44):
But there you go. Under on the Jets for me,
I like too, but I'm not gonna bet it. But
Underpats over Dolphins, very small sprinkle on the Dolphins division,
and will I also play Dolphins to make the playoffs
at two to one. So there you go. There there
are my bets. Patriots no playoffs, under eight and a half,

(32:04):
Dolphins over eight make the playoffs, and a very small
sprinkling division.

Speaker 4 (32:08):
All right, well, recap of AFC bets that we play
so far, yep, right, Okay, Steelers over eight and a
half from me minus one ten Chiefs to win the
West minus one ten, Pats under eight and a half
minus one ten Jules you.

Speaker 3 (32:25):
Oh god, I didn't write everything down.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Okay, alright, you guys, he has Ravens division minus one
fifty five.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
Dan wrote it down.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
It was memory Ravens division minus one fifty five.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
You have chased Brown over nine hundred and a half
rushing yards, Colt Snow playoffs right, Colt Snow playoffs and
under the wind total Okay, under eight and a half,
right under eight, But I mean seven and a half
is the number. We can go seven and a half
plus money because that's.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
There was a night out there. Maybe I'm wrong, Okay,
there was.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
Hopefully there is a game.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
Under eight and a half minus one eighty six. Bookman,
it's not terrible.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
I actually love that. If you want to go bet
that under eight and a half, that's better than everything
I've given out there. You go perfect, use that great
that one. We got the Keon Coleman over seven to
twenty five receiving ye breist Hall under nine hundred rushing.
I think that was it and then that was it?

Speaker 1 (33:21):
All right? I am Patriots.

Speaker 3 (33:23):
One thing that I will go ahead recount and then
I want to ask the questions.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
Okay, I am Patriots under eight and a half wins
two units also one units to miss the playoffs minus
one seventy five Dolphins over eight wins and dolphins to
miss the make the playoffs at two to one. I
also bet Mike McDaniel Coach of the year fifty to one,
Good Down thirty to one, and Dolphins very small small
ploy on Division six fifty or better. I have Steelers

(33:50):
under eight and a half wins for me in that
one AFC South, I have nothing except I lied. I
have the offensive player of the year Nico Collins twenty
to one or better and a a f C West.
I have the Denver Broncos under nine and a half
wins for two units at even money.

Speaker 3 (34:09):
Okay, I do the winners bills for me? By the way,
anybody else have anything different?

Speaker 2 (34:14):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (34:15):
No? I I I played the Dolphins. I'll go with
the Bills, but I think one I think one of
these chalk teams gets upset.

Speaker 3 (34:22):
I don't think we did go all chalk.

Speaker 1 (34:23):
I don't you know. I'll pick Miami to be jas.

Speaker 3 (34:27):
I'll pick Miami the Bills with division team. Okay, my
question was gonna be you guys did hype Travon Henderson.
Travon Henderson seven hundred rushing yards.

Speaker 1 (34:37):
So my question is does he get the carry's?

Speaker 3 (34:40):
The only thing is he gonna get enough carries to
get the same questions. The only reason I haven't bet it.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
How about this Treevon Henderson offensive Rookie of the Year.

Speaker 3 (34:48):
I have a I mean I have a thirty two
to one sitting there that's long gone. That's kind of half.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Yeah. Better, I took thirty. I took thirty to one.
That was mine, that was my number. You got better
than may So. I I like lucky me first time,
first time for everything. I do like Trevion a lot
I CT and I absolutely love this game him. He is,
He's an elite passport sector. How can you not appreciate
that as a as a shot, He's gonna get more

(35:16):
playing time because he can block. That's the people don't
understand that. That's a big that's a big thing, the
playing time. All right, guys, who is your a FC champion?
I'm assuming you're going KC CT.

Speaker 3 (35:26):
If it ain't broke, you don't fix it KC For me, Jules,
I really want to try and go Baltimore, but I
don't believe they. I think they'll probably have a better record.
They're a good bet maybe for the one seed Baltimore,
but I don't know if they can get over that
hump and get there. Uh I'm I'm close to CT

(35:46):
here with Kansas City. I don't have a better team
than Kansas City right now that I can give you.
If we're just picking it, not a bet, we're picking it.
I'm picking KC.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
So there's no one I like in the AFC to
win the title this year. Maybe they teams playing I'll
be different and I'll go I'll go Cincinnati from a
wildcard spot. I think Sincenni makes a wildcard spot. I
think they have the talent to be a Kansas City.
They've always been a thorn in Kansas City side, so
that would be my PA. Don't defense, they certainly don't,

(36:16):
but they have the defensive coordinator Al Golden's pretty good,
so maybe he maybe he improves that defense. Maybe they
signed Tree Hendrickson. Who knows. It's game day. You've done
your homework. The bets are locked. Now it's time to
lock in a viva with only eighty eight calories, zero carbs,
and a four point five percent ABV Viva Tequila Seltzer
is the most refreshing seltzer out there. Clean light and
dangerously drinkable, made with real tequila and bold flavors like

(36:40):
huckleberry and grapefruit. Viva pairs perfectly with a winning ticket
and a hot streak this season, celebrate every cover with
a Viva. All right, let's move over to the NFC.
We'll copy the AFC and we'll start with the NFC North.
Ctl'll start with you. Anything in the NFC North for you?

Speaker 4 (37:00):
Yeah, I bet the Packers over nine and a half here.
I sprinkled a little on the pack to win the
Super Bowl as well, And like, I like this team
for a number of reasons, right, I feel like there's
probably six to seven teams that could probably win this

(37:22):
conference or make a run at the NFC here. And
I thought that Jordan Love like really kind of he
took a step back last year, you know, after the
unbelievable season he had in twenty twenty three, but like
after you like really look at it, Like I don't
think that it was terrible, like terrible.

Speaker 3 (37:45):
You know, he's dealing with the injuries.

Speaker 4 (37:48):
You know, they faced a really tough schedule and he
played not Dann will love this. He played nine games
against top ten EPA pass defense.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
He was he played the most. He played the most
games against top ten e p A pass even probably
because he played Minnesota twice too.

Speaker 4 (38:05):
Correct and then you run into the Eagles and in
the playoffs, you know, all all of this while the
wide receivers constantly just just let them down. They jumped
a ton of passes, uh, and they just couldn't make
anything anything happen.

Speaker 3 (38:22):
So they go out and they kind of address that.

Speaker 4 (38:24):
They draft Matthew Golden and they're hoping for a couple
of the younger wide receivers to step up. But if
guy the guys like Christian Watson, Jaden Reid, uh and Dobbs,
if they could stay healthy, I think this this offense
could be lethal. And I know that Love has kind
of been in and out of practice. He came back today,

(38:46):
it's his non throwing hand. Dobbs left practice the other day.
I think they're just banged up. I do think that
they're gonna be fine there, uh come week one here
at that position and the defense, I mean a lot
of turnovers last year like helped fuel the success. But

(39:08):
it's uh, I think it's still a good enough unit
to finish, uh, you know, top half of the league
and what they had in the DC.

Speaker 3 (39:18):
Jeff Hafley hometown boy here, I did a good job
from BC, and so he.

Speaker 4 (39:25):
Gets a defensive unit right with top corners right and
a pass rusher that that could absolutely take games over.

Speaker 3 (39:32):
And I still think that Lafleur is one of the
best coaches in the game.

Speaker 1 (39:35):
I was gonna ask, I really do, who's the best
coach in that division. I think it's O'Connell, but I think.

Speaker 3 (39:42):
It's O'Connell, but Laflora is right there.

Speaker 1 (39:45):
I agree, I really do.

Speaker 3 (39:46):
I say it until I'm blue in the face.

Speaker 4 (39:49):
I really do think laflour is a great coach, and
I think they have the firepower, if healthy, to make
a run here. And I bet I'm the one the
NFC North. I think the take a big step back
this year. Both coordinators Jules and I have talked about that.
I know he'll go off on that, and I think
as great as O'Connell is, that he's not going to

(40:12):
be able to do what he did with Darnold with
JJ so quickly.

Speaker 1 (40:16):
Yeah, I agree, that's that's fair.

Speaker 3 (40:18):
So we're talking coaches in the division. I go O'Connell, Lafloor, Johnson,
and then that puts Dan Campbell like a wide margin
and the team favored to win the division the team
with the highest win total, so the first win total
the first NFL future. I bet his Lions under ten

(40:38):
and a half. And I bet it essentially strictly on
the coordinators leaving because I bet it so early. Ben
Johnson is now the head coach of the Bears, Aaron
Glenn is now the head coach of the Jets. You
could argue, I mean, most people would say Ben Johnson
definitely the best offensive coordinator in football. You could argue
Aaron Glenn best defensive coordinator, even if you want to

(41:00):
dispute that, he's one of the better ones. And those
guys are out, so now you're left with the raw, raw, biting,
kneecaps coach that worked when you had those elite minds
on both sides of the ball to kind of take
care of business. And now those are gone. And not
that the guys that are replacing them are shlubs, but
it's not. Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn.

Speaker 1 (41:20):
Well we don't really know anything about them either.

Speaker 3 (41:22):
And so we'll find out maybe they're really good. But
that enough, that alone was enough for me to bet
the lines under. And then we go on and Frank
ragnow retires after I bet it, and I'm like, great,
you know, the middle of the offensive line, twenty nine
year old that's made four Pro Bowls retires. Now you
got to fill that and they have, you know, viable bodies,

(41:44):
but still you gotta slide guys around. You gotta make
that work. You're losing a key piece, a starter on
the d line. Tears' is acl out for the season.
Now you're starting to miss pieces. You got Aiden Hutchinson,
who is the favorite to win Defensive Player of the
Year and Comeback Player of the Year.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
They also just lost the same too, is the guy
who was the rookie edge he was supposed to Yeah,
he's out for the year too. A couple of edges,
so at least for a significant time.

Speaker 3 (42:09):
Not your best players, but like guys that are gonna play,
guys that are gonna start are out. And how long
is it gonna take Hutchinson to get back to you know,
dpo y form. Then you look at the schedule. We
I said at the start of the podcast when CT
was talking Steelers, if you're betting an under you want
a bad start, Well, Lions are slight Week one underdogs

(42:32):
in Green Bay, YEP.

Speaker 1 (42:34):
Huge, huge for the windshal there, honestly, that's a huge
game for the wind.

Speaker 3 (42:37):
Huge game for the Wind total. They go on within
the first six weeks of the season to play on
the road at Cincinnati, on the road at Baltimore prime time,
on the road at Kansas City prime time. Say they
get a win in there, you're three and three. That
kind of sets the tone for the season of you know,
they went fifteen to two last year. If you're three

(42:58):
and three coming out of the gates now, everybody's questioning,
can we do this without Ben Johnson? Can we do
this without Aaron Glenn. I think there's just a peace
of mind too that when your record says something that
you're starting to think where you're not as good as
you used to be. So I really like the Lions
under ten and a half. That was my first win total.

(43:18):
Bet am I still going on the division here?

Speaker 1 (43:21):
I'm good everything going.

Speaker 3 (43:23):
I played Vikings at minus one forty five over eight
and a half. That's more like one seventy five now,
And the more I think about it, the more I'm
okay with the one seventy five on over eight and
a half. If you want to bet that there's nine
and a half. I don't know if I would do that,
but I did also bet him four to one to
win the division. I'll i'll pick. I think it's between

(43:44):
Green Bay and Minnesota. So just like kind of CT
went different on Jacksonville or right there with Houston, I'll
go different and make my pick Vikings for the division.
I think JJ McCarthy can be really good with O'Connell
out of the gates. I really like O'Connell. Maybe he's
not perfect right away, but by the end of the year,
I think he can get there. Having Justin Jefferson, regardless

(44:05):
of the other guys that are there or not due
to suspensions, injuries, whatever, Having Justin Jefferson's going to help
you out a lot. So I really like Minnesota. The
schedule is difficult there, I will give them that, So
I'm not going to tell you that they're going to
skate by on schedule. I just think they're an above
five hundred team based on talent, coaching and what they
have there. And here's where I'll give you the fun

(44:26):
dart and fun dart. Yeah, oh this is a dart okay,
And I'll give Paul charci In some credit here because
he went on, followed the money and hammered this number
down a lot. Jordan Mason touchdowns leader was a huge number.
Now it's fifty to one on DK. I like fifty
to one touchdowns leader. Aaron Jones has said Mason's getting

(44:49):
the goal line work. He's the goal line guy. And
when Mason filled in for San Francisco when CMC went
down three four hundred yard games in a row, so
it was the touchdown leader.

Speaker 1 (45:00):
One.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
I'm giving Paul Charchion who went on VS and I'm
giving him credit for that. But I bet some hundred
to one to lead the NFL in rushing yards. Aaron
Jones is getting old if he gets hurt and Mason
becomes the guy in that offense, with that offensive line,
with a first year quarterback, we've seen him rip off
four hundred yard games in a row. If that job

(45:21):
is his, Jordan Mason can do that. So one hundred
to one. I used some bonus bets, some cheap little
bets on Jordan Mason to lead the NFL in rushing
I think he could be a beast. Obviously, if you're
doing your fantasy drafts after you listen to this Jordan
Mason's a guy that you might want to take note

(45:42):
of in those mid to late rounds looking for running backs.

Speaker 1 (45:44):
Okay, all right, that's an interesting one our duels. Anything else.

Speaker 3 (45:51):
I did, so I'm cooling on this one. But I
did play it, and I wrote it up and I
put it out in an article, so I should probably
give it out as Matthew Golden under seven hundred twenty
five receiving yards. We've heard all great things out of camp,
and the receivers have since been dinged up. That works in.

Speaker 1 (46:11):
Ing up.

Speaker 3 (46:12):
That's what kind of has me hesitant at the moment.
But I'll be guess I'll be transparent here, Like Jordan
Reid's the only guy over the last since DeVante Adams left,
Green Bay has had one seven hundred yard receiver per year,
and the last two years it's been Jordan Reid. Yeah,
and if Jordan Reid's still gonna be the guy, I

(46:34):
don't know if they have room there. And Tucker Craft
is a guy that's been you know, he had seven
hundred yards last year as his tight end. I don't
know if everyone can get there. I've I'm not gonna
fully recommend it now, given the injury situation, but a
little too much hype on Golden They have so many
mouths to feed. I don't know if he can quite
get there.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
Yep. Not about the Joel's that that Lions play. LEVI
lose Elusier out for the year, McNeil out for the
first few months of the year, possibly the year, Nis
Registraw their rookie cornerback out for the year, Kyle Robashow
rookie running back out for the year.

Speaker 3 (47:08):
I have two I have two units on lines under
ten half so units.

Speaker 1 (47:13):
Okay, and I'm at us saying who is supposed to
be the replacement for uh Olizia now likely out for
the year string on one side of the d so
they are they're They're starting to get very thin on
that side of the ball already and there hasn't even
been a real game yet, so certainly something though. Okay,

(47:33):
I don't have a ton in this division, Guys, I
am way down on Minnesota compared to Jewels. I'm not
I'm not playing the under but I just don't think that.
I just don't expect J. J. McCarthy to lead them
to the playoffs. That it's a lot. I'm not I
agree on the Lions. I think Campbell without the two
coordinators is a fucking disaster. One of the big reasons

(47:56):
I just faded him in the playoffs last year, just
because I didn't believe in that team. I didn't leaving
the coach like he just makes bad decisions. He is
a bad in game coach. It just did happens. I
have been a longtime fucking hater of Caleb Williams, a
long time hater usc days. Last year, I was massive
on the unders. My biggest play of the year, I think,

(48:17):
or maybe personally, I'm not sure what I gave up,
but it was my biggest play of the year. Personally,
I'm gonna reverse course here a little bit. I think
the addition of Ben Johnson is arguably the best hire
of the coaching cycle. Yes that includes my Rable. I
think that he is a phenomenal offensive mind. Defensively, I'm
not sure what happens with the Bears, but offensively, I

(48:39):
think that he is going to He turned a guy
like Jared Goff. Everyone remembers Jared Goff in LA. He
couldn't do anything. I mean, he made the Super Bowl,
but in general, they gave up on him because he
couldn't do anything turn him into a stud. I don't
think Kayleb Williams is ever gonna be a stud, but
I don't think he's gonna be the dud he was
last year. I'm gonna take Chicago over eight wins and

(49:01):
you are a huge, huge hader, and I still am.
I don't. I don't believe in Caleb Williams, but I
do believe in Ben Johnson. I do believe the offensive
scheme that he has put in, and I think that
this team is gonna be good. Over eight is plus
one oh five right now, so I will play over
eight on the Bears plus one oh five. I just

(49:21):
think Cayleb Williams gonna better this year. I think the
offense in general is gonna be better this year. I
expect Dj Moore, who now has a more defined role,
will be better. They kind of, you know, they got
rid of Kareem out. Kareem out. They got rid of Alan,
which I think is a good actually addition by subtractioner.
I think he was a big issue there. I like
a dune say. I love the addition of Colson Lovelin.

(49:41):
I love what they can do in the split tight
end sets. I think they're gonna be using the running
backs a lot more effectively. The offensive line wildly upgraded
this offseason. I like what they've done on the offensive
side of the ball. Defensively, I still think they're solid.
I don't think they're elite, but I think they're solid.
I think the vision outside of Green Bay, CT is

(50:03):
down Minnesota downgraded a quarterback, Lions significantly downgraded. At you know,
between the injuries, the coordinators, you have a moron almost
said a bad word as a head coach like I
think that you It opens up a few wins for
the Chicago Bears. I don't love them. They're not my
favorite team in the world. I think Chicago eight wins

(50:24):
and I will play some to make the playoffs too
as well. I think that that price is just just
too short. I just I think it's too short. I
think you can probably get right now book maker one
seventy two. That's not a good price. There's some two
to one out there. I wouldn't play. I won't give
it I was an official play, but anything two to

(50:45):
one or better. I would play on the Bears to
make the playoffs as well. I think they are going
to be a playoff team this year. I think the
Packers and the Bears. I think you probably see three
teams out the North make the playoffs this year. So
that's my that's my division breakdown. I like the Bears.
I think they don't think they win the division, but
I think they will be very competitive in the wild
card there. I just not high on Minnesota. I think again,

(51:07):
probably a little bit of regression from last year.

Speaker 3 (51:08):
And yeah, court quarter I just nearest high as everybody there.

Speaker 1 (51:12):
I don't believe in Jajon McCarthy couldn't throw the ball
in Michigan all a sudden, He's gonna come in and
be a gun slinger because he has justin Jefferson like. Yeah,
but O'Connell hasn't been.

Speaker 3 (51:23):
Like Connall can't get out there and take this down.

Speaker 1 (51:26):
Yeah, that's kind of the problem, man. I O'Connor has
been good. I get what he did with Donald was unbelievable.

Speaker 4 (51:33):
Yeah, I just are Donald had We thought Donald had
talent when he was at USC, right.

Speaker 1 (51:38):
I mean, so he was a first round pick, he
was a top five pick.

Speaker 2 (51:42):
You know.

Speaker 3 (51:42):
Now he's got another top ten pick at quarterback.

Speaker 1 (51:45):
Yeah, but he's coming off in a c L injury.
He's a rookie. I mean there's a lot of issues
there from Minnesota.

Speaker 3 (51:51):
I miss Donald had reps and had snaps, had games.

Speaker 1 (51:54):
I don't know. Not to mention, the offensive line of
Minnesota is questionable at best. So I I'm just not
as high Minnesota as everyone else. There's a lot of
hyper around Minnesota for some weird, weird reason. Night, I
think the Bears are the one, the one team who
actually might be decent then maybe win ten games. I
played them all over there.

Speaker 3 (52:12):
Too, But when as Bears your NFC North winner, No,
I'll go with the Packers.

Speaker 1 (52:17):
But I think I think the Bears will be very competitive.
I think they'll be I think they'll be a playoff
team this year.

Speaker 3 (52:22):
Packers are my division winner as well.

Speaker 4 (52:24):
And I gave out three plays in this division, and
that's Pack over nine and a half a tenth of
a unit Pack to win the super Bowl at twenty
to one, and Pack plus two fifty to win the North.

Speaker 1 (52:37):
Jewels on the Vikings. I will also take the Packers
for the division. Certainly, nothing that else. Okay, allons, what's
move over to the NFC South. I also have two
strong takes in this division. Do you guys mind if
I start on this on No, Okay, I am taking
Atlanta over seven and a half wins for this division.
Absolutely love them. No, for whatever reason, everyone loved them

(52:58):
last year, then they upraded vastly this year, and everyone
hates them this year. I don't fucking get the The
NFL market makes no sense to me. I totally agree
with that, makes absolutely no sense to me at all.
Over seven and a half minus one forty five minus
one fifty. Love that play. I will also take them
to win the division. I'll take this for two units

(53:19):
as well. You can mark me down there two units
to win the NFC South at plus two forty yep.
I love that. I just I don't understand why everyone
is so down on this team after.

Speaker 3 (53:33):
They got significantly.

Speaker 1 (53:35):
Talk me into the defense, so I'm concerned about the defense.
But here's here's my thing. What defensive? What team in
the NFC set are you look? And they don't the defense?

Speaker 3 (53:47):
I actually thought they they fixed the defense a little bit.
They did with the high draft picks they took like
best player on the board.

Speaker 1 (53:54):
I like the edge rushers.

Speaker 4 (53:57):
They drafted, the peer Walker and Pierce and they traded
for the edge from Tennessee James Fierce. Yeah, and I
thought they fix it well again, I mean I shouldn't
say fix it, but they improved.

Speaker 1 (54:09):
Yeah. I think they've done a good job addressing the
needs there. I think offensively they are going to be
by far the best offensive team in the division. I
don't think it's gonna be all that close. They have
an elite running back, they have an elite wide receiver,
and I think they have I think Darnell Mooney could
be a very big sleeper break at you want to
yards with Kirk Cousins, Yeah, exactly like. I think he's

(54:31):
gonna be a sleeper this year. I am. I'm very,
very high in the Atlanta Falcons this year. I have
them every which way you want to have to take
the playoffs by all means, as long as a decent price.
I love them. I think they are going to be
a bona fide Studeley team this year. Uh. In that case,
kind of a correlated play, Jules, give me the Tampa
Bay Bucks under nine and a half wins and to

(54:54):
make and to make the playoffs no plus one point
fifty Uh, just again, too much hype on Baker. Okay,
he sucked last year, quietly sucked. Was not good. He
has very lucky. In fact, the number one team in
luck last year guys, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I did
like obviously bringing a Booga. I think he's a fantastic

(55:16):
wide receiver, but they have a lot of questions there now.
Mike Evans always banged up, just forever and always he
plays to do it for the most part, but always
banged up again. Godwin coming off the injury, I am
not I'm not a Baker believer at all. And by
the way, I'm not a Bucky Irving guy either. I
know he was very good last year. They already lost

(55:37):
Tristan Worz for six weeks and possibly for the whole season.
Like the offensive line isn't a bit in shambles as well.
The defensive line has lost pieces. The secondary has absolutely
lost pieces at Carlton Davis being well, I mean, look,
they're just they've lost a lot this offseason. I don't
see why everyone is just penciling them in for the
playoffs immediately. I think Tampa is about to have a

(56:01):
pretty big downfall this year. I think Baker Mayfield may
he won't get benched, but I think he's going to badly,
badly struggle this year compared to years in the past.
I just think that, you know the game. At the
end of the season last year, he was really starting
to kind of go downhill. I think we're gonna see
the same type of thing. They're a small quarterback get

(56:22):
worn out. I think Tampa Bay seven eight win team
this year, so under nine and a half and no
playoffs for me, yes, playoffs on the Falcons division plus
two forty yeah, two forty, two fifty. I think I
actually have like two seventy but whatever. And and Atlanta
over seven and a half is as well. So I
have all those plays in the NFC South. I love that.

(56:45):
I think they're correlated. So there you go. I have
no thoughts on New Orleans or Carolina. I think Carolina
is better, but whatever.

Speaker 4 (56:50):
So this is kind of funny because you and I
didn't talk about this one and I have two plays
in this division and they're the exact same as you.
Falcons over seven and a half minus one forty is
a play for me for one unit and them to
win the South for a half unit plus two forty
as a play, and I'll kind of touch on a
couple of things that you didn't touch on to kind

(57:14):
of round it out a little bit, because I think
Penix is going to be a pretty significant upgrade from Cousins,
And I thought Cousins literally single handedly bombed this team
of any potential on on winning the division last year.
I mean, they outgained about seventy five percent of their
opponents on yards per play basis, they tied for the

(57:37):
second highest rate in the league.

Speaker 3 (57:38):
But all the awful Cousins turnovers absolutely like bomb this team.

Speaker 4 (57:43):
He threw seven picks in the second half of close games,
like he was just an absolute abomination. Now Penix comes
in right with plenty of weapons as disposal and faces
kind of one of the easier schedule of opposing pass defenses.
So I think there's potential there on the offense side

(58:04):
of the ball. I addressed the defense already with the
signings they made and drafting Walker and Pierce and Pierce right. So,
like the beginning of the schedule, the first six seven
weeks is difficult.

Speaker 1 (58:21):
I love them week one, love them week.

Speaker 3 (58:22):
One, Yeah, I like them week one too.

Speaker 4 (58:25):
I mean, but it's the back end of the schedule
is much more favorable. Right from from weeks eight to eighteen,
they played just two teams that are favored to make
the playoffs. So over seven and a half is a
play here. And I'm totally agreement with your partner. I
think the Dirty Birds are gonna be much better this year.

Speaker 1 (58:42):
I love that one. Me and CTR on the same
side without even talking about it. That means it usually
goes very well.

Speaker 3 (58:49):
All right, well over here, we're going to continue the
Falcons love in a different fashion. I was out in
Vegas at the final PAC twelve championship game. Ever, at
one point in time watching was catching ten points against
Oregon and Michael Pennix blue bon Nicks out of the water.
Washington upset Oregon in that game. Yeah, what Pennix can

(59:10):
do like indoors throwing in these domes Like I'm a
huge fan of Michael Pennix. Now over the win total, yeah,
they should definitely get to eight wins. Are they gonna
win the division? That's my pick for the division. It's
Atlanta because I can't pick Carolina or New Orleans, so
do I believe in Tampa Not quite? So Atlanta's gonna
be my pick. With you guys, it sounds like we're
gonna go three for three.

Speaker 1 (59:30):
There.

Speaker 3 (59:30):
I focused, and maybe I'll come back and bet some
Falcons over seven and a half. I focused all of
my Atlanta love on Drake London, So Michael Pennock started
the final three games of the year for the Falcons.
In those games, Drake London averaged thirteen targets, he averaged
one hundred and seventeen yards per game, and he caught

(59:51):
two total touchdowns in those three games. I bet him
over a fifty receiving yards on thousand and fifteen and
a half and over six and a half receiving touchdowns.
I think it's up to seven and a half on
DraftKings now at plus money. I'm good with that. I

(01:00:12):
think he's up to like eleven hundred yards on DraftKings.
I'm good with that, and you can bet him in
Milestone markets twelve to fifty fifteen hundred to have that
type of a season. He's fifteen to one to lead
the NFL in receiving yards, he's twenty to one to
lead the league and receiving touchdowns. I'm on board with
all of those. The volume that he got and the

(01:00:32):
type of quarterback that Penix is compared to Kirk Cousins.
And mind you he had let me pull up the
numbers here he had. I think it was eleven hundred.
I'm pulling it up. Bear with me. He had more No.
Twelve hundred and seventy one receiving yards for Drake London
last year with fourteen games of Kirk Cousins and three

(01:00:55):
of Pennix. Like, eleven hundred yards is light in the again,
all these overs, you're betting no injury. If there is
no injury to Drake London, he is live for fifteen
hundred yards. He's live to lead the league. Like I
am all about Drake London. He got red zone targets.
He was thrown the ball. You know a lot of

(01:01:17):
these touchdowns these big receivers get a breakaway. In the
Penix games, he was thrown the ball in the end
zone two times per game, six total times in the
three games Drake London was targeted in the end zone.
So he's gonna score touchdowns, He's gonna get yards with
Penix being the guy there. I think he plays twelve
of seventeen games indoors with Pennix. Yep, Like it's just

(01:01:39):
if there is. If Drake London stays healthy, he is
going to easily clear these season long props and you
should start to you know, tick up on these milestones.

Speaker 1 (01:01:50):
I agree. I think another one, Jules, And this is
also something I played which is not availed poy. I
played Bijon to win open.

Speaker 3 (01:01:57):
Oh, okay, similar because I.

Speaker 1 (01:01:59):
Think I think I think be Jean's also being slept
on in this offense. I think this offenses are arguably
top five potential this year. And by the way, you
want a really good long shot, I played this Raheem
Morris forty seven to one to win Coach of the Year. Okay,
that instead is still available on Buckeye skins. People are

(01:02:20):
looking for that and still available most places now around
like twenty to one, but you can find much better
out there. I would play anything Raheem Morris twenty five
to one or better, only played two by McDaniel Morris,
but I think those are two really really good bets.
He fits also same qualities. He would make over. The
wins would be, you know, go from what eight wins

(01:02:41):
or whatever to like I think ten to twelve. They
would make the playoffs, win the division. He fits all
the quantities you're looking for in the same thing of
the coach of the Year. So I'm I'm very high
on the lands of this year. I'm surprised some people
are so down on this team. I don't get it.

Speaker 3 (01:02:55):
Yeah I do.

Speaker 1 (01:02:56):
Yeah, the explosive offense potentially here, especially with nex Man.
What an upgrade he is over over Kirk Cousins. Any
thoughts on the Saints or the Panthers.

Speaker 3 (01:03:06):
Guys, if it wasn't so juicy, I would consider Saints
under I think they're just real bad. Yeah, not Argue,
probably the worst quarterback room. You're gonna go like Rattler
and then he's gonna stink, so then you're gonna go
Tyler Tyler show.

Speaker 1 (01:03:23):
I played on offensive a good of the year seventy
five to one because I didn't know who else could win.

Speaker 3 (01:03:28):
There's no way that's gonna win because he sucks.

Speaker 1 (01:03:29):
It's not there's zero percent chance he's gonna win. He
is brutally bad. I watched him on the Priests and
he sucks. Yeah, so not we saw him at Louisville,
but yeah, it was. That's not a winning bet, not
a chance, all right? Uh n. If you're we're all
pick We're all picking Atlanta Vision. So there you go,
team bet about that team bet on Atlanta winning division.

Speaker 3 (01:03:48):
We should do that.

Speaker 1 (01:03:48):
You should do that, all right, NFC West guys, let's
move over to the NFC West CT. I know you
have a very strong opinion about the NFC West, the
one that you and I share. I'll start with you.

Speaker 4 (01:04:00):
Yeah, So after you and I were screaming from the
mount mountain tops, banging the table, banging our chests about
the Eagles last year early in the summer, which delivered
you and I actually, you know, a couple of months
ago started talking about who we think we're gonna win
the Super Bowl, and we agree this year.

Speaker 1 (01:04:21):
Without talking to each other.

Speaker 4 (01:04:22):
Correct And then when we started talking about it, we
couldn't believe it. And we're aligned again this year. And
I must I must say I loved, loved the Eagles
last year to win the Super Bowl. I don't like
this team nearly as much, but I think it's a
great bet and I think that they have a really

(01:04:44):
good chance to bounce back here.

Speaker 3 (01:04:46):
I think they're a playoff team.

Speaker 4 (01:04:47):
Uh, and I with having one of the league's easiest schedules,
they just match up really really well, and that's the
San Francisco forty nine ers here. So you and I
bet over nine and a half minus one ten. God,
I think back in May or early early June. It's
juiced up now, I think you could still get like

(01:05:08):
minus one seventy, but a lot of books kind of
moved to ten, moved it to ten.

Speaker 1 (01:05:13):
I think Fandor has some good prices on that. Still,
you can definitely still find some good numbers on.

Speaker 3 (01:05:18):
Over nine and a half.

Speaker 4 (01:05:20):
Decent numbers are are still available here. But yeah, partner,
like I said, one of the league's easiest schedules. You know,
they match up against the struggling divisions like AFC and
NFC South. They get the rebuilding teams like the Bears
and the Browns, and Shanahan. We don't have to talk
too much about him, like he knows what he's doing

(01:05:41):
right and it's losing isn't in the family vocabulary here,
it's just uh.

Speaker 3 (01:05:46):
I feel like the road to bounce him back is
paved here.

Speaker 4 (01:05:49):
I like brock Purdy. I know he gets a lot
of criticism here. I think he's perfect for the Shanahan system.
He has the weapons around him and make them success.
Make the Niners successful again. Yeah, you know, kind of
stinks losing Ayeuk and won't be back until week six.
But you know, I would argue that's I think it's
they're gonna be just fine with the way their schedule starts.

(01:06:10):
I think Jennings, Kittle, Piersall and company could kind of
pick up the slack for him. McCaffrey's back healthy, race
start get back to carrying the load here, and if
I gets back and regains form here, I think the
with Purdy in the passing game could be among the
league's best.

Speaker 1 (01:06:29):
Here.

Speaker 3 (01:06:29):
Defense, you bring back sala On at d C, I
think that's gonna help.

Speaker 4 (01:06:34):
And you know, even though you give green Law away,
they still have two of the league's best players at
their given positions with Bosa as a pass rusher and
linebacker Fred Warner. Five of their their eight games are
at home against teams that had losing records last year.

Speaker 3 (01:06:51):
So I like the Niners. They are my super Bowl champ.

Speaker 4 (01:06:56):
So we played over nine and a half wins here,
played Super Bowl at twenty to one as well.

Speaker 1 (01:07:03):
Partner yep, so I am I'm with CT on this one.
I played San Francisco over ten minus one thirty. The
that price is currently now minus one fifty, so you
can still get ten minus one fifty. I think that
is still abedable number. I think fine time at ten
and a half as well minus one oh five or

(01:07:24):
better as well. I like I think this team probably
wins eleven, twelve thirteen games. They are my super Bowl
champion as well. I think that they had a very
rough year with injuries and we're just due for a
bit of regression. I think it kind of reminds me
of what Kansas City could go through this year, and
not saying they will, but it kind of like that's like,
that's that's why I think a lot of people are

(01:07:44):
expecting from Kansas City this year. I don't think they'll
be that obviously, the regression won't be that bad. I
just think they'll probably just be, you know, banged up
or whatever. But I think that that is what people
are expecting. I think the Niners hop back on the
train this year. I think they are going to be
extremely different. Gold to beat again over nine and a
half right now.

Speaker 3 (01:08:05):
Guys, yeah's available.

Speaker 1 (01:08:09):
Just to give you an idea, that price a bookmaker
right now. Overs nine and over nine and a half
minus two seventy five at bookmakers. Wow, it's a big
scalp there. Everyone's looking to r of numbers two sixteen
and minus one eighty. But nonetheless, this team is just
being wildly slept on. Uh CMC back, healthy offensive line, back,

(01:08:29):
healthy defense, healthy uh bringing back Sala is a massive upgrade.
It's all as a great coordinator, bad coach. I mean,
there are just those guys exist in the NFL. That's
you know, and that's who He's one of those guys.
So I think this is a great, a very strong
San Francisco team. I think people are once again sleeping
on them. I think San Francisco will be the Super

(01:08:51):
Bowl champion this year. They are my pick. I bet
them nineteen to one and twenty to one to win
the Super Bowl. So I think anything eighteen to one
or better still a very good price. Yeah, there's there's
still nineteen the one. Yep, Yeah, I agree. So yeah,
San Francisco to me, cet I have them. I have
to win the division plus one seventy five. Ye, that's good.

(01:09:11):
The plus one I think thirty for me. I have
a pretty big edge of the division this year. So
I'm very very big on the UH on the San
Francisco forty nine ers this year, and I think in
the same span, I have the Rams to make not
make the playoffs because we how many playoff teams. I've
already kind of given in Rams not to make the playoffs,
plus one seventy the Stafford injury. I know their additions

(01:09:34):
obviously this year. Yeah, the Stafford injury is such a
big one right now. I don't I think Karen Williams
at the end of the year last year really started
to kind of fall apart. I wonder if he's built
for an entire NFL season. Offensive line was a disaster
at the end of the year last year. I wonder
if that's going to hold up there. And I think
losing Cooper Cup is going to be way bigger than

(01:09:56):
people think. I think DeVante Adams look old and slow
last year. Everyone loves the name, I'm not sure the
player is the same guy he used to be. And
so I am very down on the Rams this year
compared to most people. So I didn't play under but
I played no playoffs for the Rams instead at some

(01:10:17):
some pretty good numbers. If that's still out there, So
there you go. That's that's how I played the NFC West. Jewels,
tell us how you played the NFC West this year.

Speaker 3 (01:10:23):
So my initial look, and this goes way back, was
the Rams and I played some openers at like plus
two thirty division, which is a good number, and that's great.
But the Stafford stuff is concerning, like he had an
epideral all three of us in here, dads. There's probably
some dads listening. You're like, that's what my wife had

(01:10:44):
before they she had our kid. Like that's not good,
not your back. And then the other half of me
is like, well, Stafford always guts it out and still
finds a way. You know, who's the only team that
tested the Eagles the playoffs last year? It was the Rams.
So I have a little bit more Rams love than
you guys. I lean Niners in the division. However, I

(01:11:09):
reserve the right to change my mind since I made
the initial Rams pick. You know, in May football seasons
here things are different. I did bet something this way,
which is a DraftKings sportsbook market. You can bet top
two in the division regardless of order. I don't believe

(01:11:31):
in the Seahawks. In fact, I might bet the Seahawks
to come forth in the division. You're now going Sam
Darnold is going to fall off a cliff going to
Seattle and losing DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. So I'm
interested in that. I haven't he does get Cooper Cup.
Bet it yet. He does get Cooper Cup and JSN
is pretty good, but so and I'm not a believer

(01:11:51):
in the Cardinals. You can actually bet the Cardinals under
nine and a half at minus one fifty, which somewhat
interests me. Again, haven't bet it yet, but I do
think top two in the division were regardless of order,
forty nine Ers and Rams is plus two hundred on DraftKings.
I do think, you know, even if the Rams don't
win the division at all, three of us like the Niners,
I think they're still good enough to come second. I
don't think they're gonna be fall off quite the cliff.

(01:12:14):
Maybe that you guys do. So I bet that at
two to one. I did come back, and I you know,
I'll probably come around and bet some Niners division. But
I bet the Niners to make the playoffs at minus
one ninety. That's a little juicy. But I like San
Francisco for the same reasons you guys do so minus
one ninety to make the postseason. There my favorite prop. Again,
this is kind of like the South. I like player

(01:12:36):
props here and I like Ricky Piersall. We opened him.
I wish I got to this earlier. We opened him
on DraftKings at seven hundred and fifty yards. It was
there for a while, it disappeared. It came back a
month or two later eight fifty and immediately ticked up
to eight seventy five. I'll go over eight seventy five
and a half on Ricky Piersall. Ayuk isn't gonna play

(01:12:57):
for a while six weeks. Jennings is dinged up, and
I like him. But Piersall played an eleven games last
year and had four hundred yards thirty one catches on
forty six targets. He's a first round pick. You would
think they're gonna develop him. Got off to a slow
start because he got shot. That's gonna be hard to
even see t can't bounce back from that. So let's

(01:13:19):
look at his game log. Towards the end of his
rookie season, caught four of four targets for thirty seven
yards against Miami. That kind of sparked him Detroit eight
catches on ten targets for one hundred and forty one
yards in a touchdown. At Arizona six catches on eight
targets for sixty nine yards in a touchdown. That's the
Ricky Piersaw that I think we're gonna see to start

(01:13:40):
this season, unless he gets shot again. So I like
what we're gonna see from Ricky Piersaw's This is a
well you gotta watch out for these things. It happened
one out of one season that Ricky Piersaw's played, he's
gotten shot season. That's one hundred of the time. That's
actually fair. Now, however, I'm gonna bet under a half
of a time of getting shot before the season starts
for Ricky past. Yeah, I haven't found number. I haven't

(01:14:04):
found that anywhere yet, but yeah, keep an eye out.

Speaker 1 (01:14:08):
Yeah, well we'll bet that one too, Team bet.

Speaker 3 (01:14:12):
But yeah, I think Ricky Pearsoon is going to be
a huge piece of this offense. I like Rock Party,
I like the Niners for all the reasons you guys said. Uh,
he's also there for a thousand yards on DK at
plus one fifty. I think that's a good play. I'm
going to be loaded on Ricky pearsall props this year
and when those week one lines come out, like he's
going to be lower because of what he averaged last year.
And remember he's not there, I'll probably bet him week

(01:14:33):
one against Seattle to go over his problem. Now, when
you're loaded, are you loaded to the gills. I'm not
loaded to the gills. I can never load to the
gills on a player prop because a season ending injury
is always there.

Speaker 1 (01:14:44):
That's right.

Speaker 3 (01:14:44):
So as much as I love a lot of I'm
not loaded to the yeah, And I'm giving out a
lot of player props on this podcast, and I love
the season long player props, and I'll bet you know,
Drake London and Ricky Piersoll are going to be my
my guys this year. But you can never go all
the way there like you would on a big future
just due to you know, it takes one hit to

(01:15:04):
one guy and you're done.

Speaker 1 (01:15:05):
I'll make a note. I'll make a note on the
on the bet tracker not loaded to the Gills very.

Speaker 3 (01:15:11):
And also please track the under zero point five time shot.

Speaker 1 (01:15:16):
I'll see if bet stamp. I'm not sure they do,
but if they do, then obviously, of course, all right, nice,
all right, So NFC West Division winner all nine ers
N nineties. We are we are agreeing a lot here.
It's a little scary, all right. Let's move over to
the NFC East, the final division in the NFL that

(01:15:37):
we have that we need to talk about. Giants, Eagles, Commanders, Cowboys,
uh CT you had the Eagles last year. I'm gonna
go with Jewels to start this one because we just
started over the NFC West. Jewels, what do you like
in the NFC East.

Speaker 3 (01:15:52):
I'm curious what you guys like in the NFC East
because it never seems to repeat. Ever, So I want
to find somebody. And Dan's gonna go Washington. I know
Dan's gonna Washington. I want to find somebody. I don't
know if it can be Washington. I don't like. I'm
gonna have a hard time not picking the Eagles to
win this division. However, I haven't bet that. I've bet

(01:16:14):
some player props, so let's get into those. Okay, Dak Prescott,
I bet him over thirty eight to twenty five.

Speaker 4 (01:16:21):
Not loaded to the Gills, I notloaded to the Gills
on player prop candload to the Gills because injuries set
this back.

Speaker 3 (01:16:29):
But the years that he doesn't get injured, we're talking
like forty four forty five hundred passing yards for Prescott.
So this is a yes, no injury prop essentially, and
it's up to like thirty nine hundred. But that's fine.
If he plays fourteen games, he'll he'll get you over
thirty nine hundred. Again, this defense outside of Parsons bad offense,
good ceedee lamb good. You add Pickings elite talent. Will

(01:16:53):
he be a head case? Will he find a way
to mess this up?

Speaker 1 (01:16:57):
Maybe?

Speaker 3 (01:16:57):
But they did it without you know, you can figure
it out without Pickings. No running game to speak of.
The running back room in Dallas is tough, so they
are gonna be throwing it. I know Schottenheimer is the
head coach. Don't love that, but he's the o C
that Prescott has had success with. That passing game is

(01:17:18):
going to so that, yeah, that's fine. He's not gonna
be again. We just talked about like Sala not gonna
be a great head coach, but I don't think the
offense in the passing game is gonna drop off.

Speaker 1 (01:17:28):
So you're talking about my guy d Swan like this jewels.

Speaker 3 (01:17:30):
Hell, dare you deuce Deuce vaughn Is? We are similar
sized men.

Speaker 1 (01:17:36):
I take bigger than them, I'm aware.

Speaker 3 (01:17:39):
So, and I did do a little eleven to one
on Dak to lead the NFL in passing yards. I
think it's eight nine to one now that I think
that's okay.

Speaker 1 (01:17:47):
The other one, what's painted nails on that? Hm?

Speaker 3 (01:17:51):
What's painted nails on that? Painted nails? I'm sorry, Oh,
I don't. You're gonna have to look that up. I
don't know that one that he'll be fortunate to become
the bears first four thousand yard pass up. So here's
a fun story for my other second prop. Oh boy,
and now for my next time for my next. So

(01:18:13):
last year I bet Saquon Barkley under eleven hundred rushing yards.
He beat me by more than nine hundred yards and
came the ninth running back ever to bet to rush
for two thousand yards. This year, he opened on DK
Sportsbook fifteen hundred. That's the second highest rushing prop DK
has ever opened. The highest was Derrick Henry fifteen to

(01:18:35):
fifty five. In twenty twenty one. After his two thousand
yard season with the Titans, he played in eight or
nine games and didn't even get a thousand yards. I
bet Saquan under at fourteen.

Speaker 1 (01:18:46):
Fifty Lockman for the over.

Speaker 3 (01:18:49):
Yeah, I mean, so here's an under. We're going injury
or not as productive. So here's here's the his Saquan
has never followed up one thousand yard season with another
thousand yard season.

Speaker 1 (01:19:03):
With the Giants.

Speaker 3 (01:19:05):
That was with the Giants album. So here's the history
of two thousand yard rushers. Though Saquon became the ninth,
the previous eight averaged one thousand and seventy nine yards
in the following season. They barely got halfway there. Only
one of them has gone over the fourteen to fifty

(01:19:26):
that Saquon is set at. That was Barry Sanders, who
in nineteen ninety seven ran for two thousand yards. In
a bit of a different era nineteen ninety eight he
ran for just under fifteen hundred yards and then he retired.
So only one guy has done it, that's Barry Sanders.
So that's eight and one to the under on fourteen

(01:19:48):
hundred and fifty rushing yards on previous two thousand yard rushers.
They bring in aj Dillon, who is you know, build
wise similar to Saquon. At least they got the quads
uh five hundred and fifty carries for over two thousand
yards the last three seasons combined. For Dylan, I think
he's there to mix in. And I think he's there
if Barkley is dinged up a little to say, hey,

(01:20:11):
take a week, take two weeks off, whatever, and just
get to the finish line. If if you're the Eagles,
he had a career high regular season carries. Saquon he
had nearly five hundred carries. By the time you get
through the postseason, I think that Saquon is gonna slow
enough and get enough rest to stay under fourteen hundred
and fifty yards.

Speaker 1 (01:20:31):
OK.

Speaker 3 (01:20:33):
You guys like the over.

Speaker 1 (01:20:35):
No, I just did it just because I just like
being a dick.

Speaker 4 (01:20:37):
It kind of leads me into my one and only
play in this division, Partner, And after screaming from the
mountaintops about the Eagles last year and being correct, I'm
down on the Eagles this year. My only play is
Eagles under eleven and a half wins, and I think
they have a lot of problems, Partner, And we'll start
with how Calmore is not there anymore? And I think

(01:20:58):
that's going to be a really real, really big problem
for this offense. And Sirianni is kind of gonna be
like wondering where, Oh wow, where's Kella Moore?

Speaker 3 (01:21:07):
Right now?

Speaker 4 (01:21:07):
I need him because I think that Patullo is not
the answer. And yeah, you still have Fangio as your decordinator.
And he's kind of like a Kelvin Sampson type guy.
He could bring a dying horse and lead him to
water and nurse him back to health. But I think
with the losses like Josh Sweat, Milton Williams, Gardner Johnson,

(01:21:27):
that the defense is not going to be anywhere near
the same. I think the wide receivers outside of Brown
and Smith are very far and in between. Here. Dotson
did not turn out to the guy that you and
I thought he was gonna be at all. He didn't
even catch a touchdown pass.

Speaker 1 (01:21:46):
John who I think is like a he's like a
fifth guy in a row.

Speaker 3 (01:21:50):
I was just gonna say it was he gonna be.

Speaker 4 (01:21:51):
I mean, he's he's probably behind Johnny Wilson too, who
really didn't do much. I don't think there's depth at
that position. Uh, you lose the guys on defense, you
lose your OC. The schedule, I mean, the schedule is tough.
You got to play the NFC North, you got to
play the Bills. You gotta go at Chargers. I mean,

(01:22:12):
you start with Dallas, which is no layup.

Speaker 1 (01:22:16):
After everyone loves filing, but everybody loves.

Speaker 3 (01:22:18):
Filling that game.

Speaker 4 (01:22:19):
Roll them out, Philly win, kind of lean Dallas there.
Then you go to then you go to KC week two.
Then you get the Rams at home at Tampa, Denver
at home. You end at Washington at Buffalo, Washington at home,
twelve wins. I just don't see it. And I agree
with Jules. There's no way Barkley repeats what he did

(01:22:42):
last year. And they relied on him way too much.
And we know what Jalen Hurts does. We're gonna see
some regression from this team. Last year was just it
just set up perfect for this team. The stars aligned,
and the stars aren't gonna line this year. So I
played under eleven and a half. It's my only play
in this division.

Speaker 1 (01:23:02):
Yeah, I mean, I tend to agree. I'm a bit
higher on Barkley than you guys are, just because I
think the offensive line is so fucking good. But I
what I'm down on right now. I'm down on Hurts
because I think the play calling for more last year
was so absolutely perfect and then sync with everything that
Hurts like to do. How can you guarantee that they're

(01:23:22):
gonna have the same offensive consistency and just communication. I
don't believe that they will. So I'm I just don't
believe Philly wins the division. I think again, people are
way way way too high in them this year. Like again,
they're coming out of the super Bowl. They're a good team.
I'm not telling you they're gonna suck or anything. I
just think they might not be quite as good a

(01:23:42):
couple couple losses here there. Look, you know some some
one uh one score wins that you know probably have
some regression there. I think Philly's good. I just don't
think they're quite as good. I will take Washington over.
I'll be on the over. I'll be the guy Jewels
that you want. I'll take the over. I believe even
Jane Daniels, I do. I'm a Jade Daniels guy. I

(01:24:03):
think he was phenomenal last year. I think getting McLaurin,
get the add in Deebo Samuel. Now they'll probably have
some injury issues at the spot. They didn't have those
injury those issues last year. But I just think Jane
Daniel doesn't matter. I don't think it matters who the
fuck play is there. I think he's just gonna be
absolutely I think he is the next big time, elite

(01:24:25):
quarterback in this league. I think that's Jane Daniel. I
think that you know, he is the next Malmes Alan Burrow.
I think you're throwing in Jane Dale's. He had the
best rookie year of all time. Now I'll say this.
The last guy who did this and had the best
rookie year arguably of all time, CJ. Stroud, took a
major step back the next year. Sure that being said,
the Texans still won the division. I think they take

(01:24:50):
a major step forward this year. This is the same
team that just dismantled and it was not close. They
dismantled the Detroit Lions in in Detroit in the playoffs
to knock them out go the NFC Championship game. They
were competitive with Philly for a good portion of that
game before Philly just pulled away. I just think Washington

(01:25:13):
is better. I like the continuity at the coordinator spots.
I think Dan Quinn a second year coaching that defense.
I think the defense gets significantly better. I like what
they did on the offensive line. You know, again, the
Deebo saniel Ad could be up or down. It could
be boomer bust. I don't know. I want to say
it's boom, but it could be boom er bust. But

(01:25:33):
either way, I still think they have enough at that
position to be good. I think they have enough on
the offensive line they'd be good. I like the running
back situation that they have now though even though Brian
Robinson may not be the guy. I like the fact
that they're rotating in. I think this team is gonna
be better. And I think again, you have an incredibly
dynamic offensive play calling mind at the offensive coordinator spot.

(01:25:56):
Like I like everything that they have in Kingsbury. I mean,
I like everything they have. So I'm gonna take Washington
over nine and a half and to win the division.
My prices is long gone unfortunately, but still to win
the division. I still like the price at plus two forty,
which I think is what it currently is. So just

(01:26:17):
I'll double check right now because I pulled up to.

Speaker 3 (01:26:19):
Another If it makes you feel any better when CT
and I went on our good friend Sammy Pea's Chicken
dinner last week, the first play out of Joey Cheese's Mouth,
Our good Friend Joey Cheese. Washington under nine and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:26:33):
Awesome. Love that, Okay, so so now, SO like it
even more, my ads more tonight, Washington over nine and
a half again.

Speaker 2 (01:26:40):
I like that.

Speaker 3 (01:26:40):
Dan was food poisoned that night and could not do
I think CT and I might have been food poisoned tonight. Yeah,
but we're still here, Yeah, being productive.

Speaker 1 (01:26:48):
Just just wait until tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (01:26:50):
Get that.

Speaker 1 (01:26:51):
I guys, I can't get out of bed. Text it
was brutal, But yeah, Washington plus two forty right now.
I just think they're the best team in the division.
That being said, I'm gonna say this. I don't like
it nearly as much as I like the Atlanta one.
And I do think that everyone in division, with the
exception of Philly, got better. I think Dallas got better
with Pickens. I hate their coach. I think Seaton Himer

(01:27:15):
is awful. I can't believe that he's the coach.

Speaker 3 (01:27:17):
I can't believed.

Speaker 1 (01:27:19):
I think the Giants got better, I think, but there's
a real chance. I think Dave All gets blown out
mid season, Like I, I just don't believe that.

Speaker 4 (01:27:28):
I know, I know, but I feel like the talent,
they might have the best front four on the Lione
he did when he got outside that.

Speaker 3 (01:27:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:27:41):
Now again they're the yeah that's good way. Yeah. So
I mean again, I just well, I'm not I'm not
going too deep on that one. But again I I
I do like Washington the wind Division. I'm I'm on
the Washington over all. Right, who do you guys have?
CT do? Who do you have the Winds Division?

Speaker 4 (01:27:58):
I'm gonna take a flyer here. I'm gonna take a
flyer and outside the box. Even though I hate the
higher or Shottenheimer, I think if Dax stays healthy that
like I think the Eagles take a step back. I
agree with you, commanders will be right there. But plus
five fifty, I'll take a shot with the Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (01:28:11):
Yep, Jewels, I say, against all odds, there's a repeat
winner and the Eagles win the division again at ten
and seven.

Speaker 1 (01:28:21):
All right, first division that the three of us have
different different winners. Yes, I will take Washington plus two
forty there, okay CT and I okay, so CT, we
I guess we can do a recap now quickly of
everything we add. I'll start with the NFC East. I
have Washington over and division. CT has Philadelphia under eleven

(01:28:42):
and a half. I have over nine and a half.
Jewels has player props out the wall Zoo. You'll have
to talk about us again, all right, Jewles, who do
you have for the player props in the NFC East?

Speaker 3 (01:28:51):
NFC East?

Speaker 1 (01:28:52):
All right?

Speaker 3 (01:28:52):
Prescott over thirty eight, twenty five passing, get to thirty
nine hundred dak to lead the league, and say horn
under rushing and that's not loaded, not loaded to once
again you cannot load to the gills on season one
player propsa.

Speaker 1 (01:29:06):
NFC North, I have the Chicago Bears over eight and
to make the playoffs. Jules has Minnesota over eight and
a half in Detroit.

Speaker 3 (01:29:14):
Under ten and a half, right, and Minnesota for to
one to win the division if we want that in there.

Speaker 1 (01:29:20):
Okay, Minnesota for to one. Division. CT has green Bay
to win the division and over.

Speaker 4 (01:29:26):
Nine and a half nine and a half and a
small little bet on the Pac twin and one to
win the Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (01:29:31):
There you go, Jules, did you have any player props
in that one? You had Mason right, Jordan Mason to
lead the.

Speaker 3 (01:29:36):
League Mason hundred to one rushing yards leader.

Speaker 1 (01:29:39):
At NFC South, I have here we go Falcons over
seven and a half big, I have I guess Falcons
over seven and a half normal, Falcons over to win
the division big plus two a million, whatever, Tampa Bay
under nine and a half, Tampa Bay no playoffs. Raheem Morris, yes,
coach of the year at a specif they're no coach

(01:30:01):
of the year and bijon offensive part of the year,
I don't know. Whatever, Jules, what did you have for
player props in this anything?

Speaker 3 (01:30:08):
Drake London over over?

Speaker 1 (01:30:10):
Okay, CT? Did you have anything in this division?

Speaker 3 (01:30:12):
Yeah? I had the same Jot.

Speaker 4 (01:30:13):
I have Falcons over seven and a half for a
unit and uh half a unit when the NFC South
love that?

Speaker 1 (01:30:19):
Two and a half divisions on the NFC South love that,
all right. NFC West, CT and I both have the
Niners to win the Super Bowl. We both have over
ten wins. We I have no rams playoffs. Plus one sixty.
That price is long gone, so I'm actually not gonna
recommend that one anymore. I'm looking at the current price
plus one fifteen, so I feel like that price has

(01:30:41):
been hammered down from the Stafford stuff, Jewles, what did
you have on this one?

Speaker 3 (01:30:46):
Niners and Rams top two in any order? Two to
one Niners to make the playoffs minus one ninety and
Ricky piersoll overs eight hundred and fifty or eight to
seventy five draftings eight seventy five receiving yards over and.

Speaker 1 (01:31:03):
H CT and I both have Niners to make win
the NFC as well. Yep, we should have cleared.

Speaker 3 (01:31:07):
That one up one super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (01:31:11):
Yeah, and to win the division as well, plus one
fifty five plus one seventy whatever it is. Yeah, post
one fifty five is fine. That's what FANDOMA has right now. Okay,
those are all plays. Let's finally go through, even though
you're kind of guardy, gave it out. Okay, who wins
the AFC? Who wins the NFC? Who wins the Super Bowl?
Jeeles go you go first.

Speaker 3 (01:31:32):
You guys are much better than me. I'll give you
credit for making these decisions way earlier. I wait and
try and see some things first. But pussy like Baltimore
is my team in the AFC that I feel the
best about. But I don't feel good about them in
the playoffs, so I have to give the nod to
k C. And in the NFC, I don't like these

(01:31:55):
division winners. I like are nice, but I'm not gonna
pick like the Falcons to make the super Bowl. So
I guess I have to go Niners. And now maybe
we're all gonna have the same super Bowl and then
I'm gonna have to pick k C over San Francisco
to be different.

Speaker 1 (01:32:07):
Than you guys.

Speaker 4 (01:32:08):
Well that's a problem because my super Bowl is, uh,
you guys both know is Chiefs Niners is kind of
a repeat from a couple of years ago, and uh,
I think it's gonna be a little different story this year.
Niners take down the Chiefs and the super Bowl probably
will just like the Eagles gut revenge.

Speaker 1 (01:32:23):
I'll go Bengals Niners just to be different, and I
will take the Niners to win the super Bowl as well.
That's crazy that we all have the same super Bowl winner.

Speaker 3 (01:32:30):
And by the way, well no I said case because
I knew that both of you were picking San Francisco. However,
in February, I'm allowed to bet the forty nine Ers
to win the Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (01:32:38):
If you are very you are very much less.

Speaker 3 (01:32:40):
You are freaking and you could load to the gills
on that, because that's not Those are games that you
can load the gills on. I load to the gills
on the super Bowl every year. It's a fun time.

Speaker 1 (01:32:48):
Love loading to the gills. Love it all right. That
is it for our NFL preview. Wow, only an hour
and a half. That could have been a lot worse.

Speaker 3 (01:32:56):
I was trying to keep you under two hours over there,
