Speaker 6 (02:26):
You got some dirty shoes.

Speaker 7 (02:27):
No pair of shoes. I got signed of them.

Speaker 8 (02:31):

Speaker 6 (02:35):
Okay, Yeah, I'll go get them signed for you.

Speaker 9 (02:54):
I'm feeling good man, fight up to be here.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
Bro, one of the sitting at Tigers got to win
his answer and alluded to yesterday. They did win the
last game against the Toronto Blue Jays before they take
on the Arizona Diamondbacks. Will get into what that does
for the momentum. They still have the worst record in
the MLB over the last sixteen games. Thursday a big
day for the Detroit Tigers. It is trade deadline. It
is also a big day for the Detroit Lions. It

(03:17):
is the start of the season as well as Michigan
players report to camp. So big week in sports here
in the state of mis With that, we've been treading
water since the Washington Commanders to the Detroit Pistons, because
Pistons did provide entertainment almost once the first round of
the playoffs. The Detroit Tigers have provided us with a

(03:38):
lot of you know, special moments.

Speaker 4 (03:41):
They've taken the attention on football.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
But ladies and gentleman, football is king and football will
be back starting on Thursday.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
It's this week. You've been waiting for it.

Speaker 10 (03:49):

chat they love you, they mischian what's going on?

Speaker 6 (03:58):
And you know they love me or they hate me.
Good to see paper Chunk gets back, man right, he

really disgusting bobblehead. It is the Cheater edition right here

(04:19):

you prefer it? The billion dollar class action lawsuit Jim
Harbaugh either one, it's whatever you guys want to call it,
but this one's going home to him the asterisk Jim
Harbaugh either way, baby, let's go, man, come on now,

(04:39):
and then you know you haven't seen me for a while.
And you know I got a bunch of these Braylan rookies,
so we're bringing another one in. Braylean is gonna sign
this for you, and then the rest of these cards
are going to go home along with that V Friends card.

always gonna be a show man he does. He's also

(05:03):
he's also the like police, which I totally appreciate. We
got to get to one hundred likes guys today, guys,
so make sure you smash that like.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
But we did too before we get into the show.

Speaker 5 (05:12):
Hold on, hold on, hold on baseball to man, I
gotta put this on you gotta put it over there.
You know it doesn't necessarily belong over here either. You
know what, You know what, my fellow go Blue Jim Harbor,
will hit you right here. Anybody do anything fun this weekend? Yeah, Okay,
talk about it. Yeah, So Friday, I wasn't here. KG
filled in for me. I had a gig at a sign.

(05:35):
He didn't realize that until like two men's.

Speaker 7 (05:40):
Wednesday.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Don't want because he said that.

Speaker 5 (05:43):
But it was funny because was it was it you
kool aid or he said, look, I'll probably just do
the first No, you asked him because I was like,
you said, take open the show.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
He said, yeah, I do. Oh in fact, I'm actually
supposed to be.

Speaker 7 (05:59):
Ahead covered my band. I asked him like a month ago.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
That's all.

Speaker 7 (06:02):
And I feel it for him on two others. Anyway,
on Friday, Oh, yeah, you're right. On Friday, I had
a very very interesting DJ gig. Man I've done. I
do a lot of gigs around town, but I actually
got the DJ.

Speaker 10 (06:16):
Do you get the video? Yeah, I get over.

Speaker 8 (06:19):
It was at the top of the It was the
rooftop of the building that is where the Joe Louis
Arena used to be.

Speaker 7 (06:26):
It was a very very interesting perspective of it front.

Speaker 6 (06:28):
It was a turn of it was a it was a.

Speaker 8 (06:34):
Real Housewives of Atlanto by nice birthday.

Speaker 7 (06:39):
Texting right down the straight. So I did it.

Speaker 10 (06:49):
Shots from there.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
I want to say this what we need to do.

Speaker 5 (06:51):
This is I can I recognize you?

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Okay, that's the river, that's from my uncle, my godfather.
Rest listen. But yeah, this was gonna be prime real estate.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
It still is because they were building just when they
were building a soccer stadium which they have now turned
into condomdions and promison.

Speaker 7 (07:08):
When they moved. Is actually so this I feel like
this is dope, but it's like a it's like a
contest space and Tom Daniels videos up here how.

Speaker 8 (07:15):
Many people it was only it was low key. It's
only fifty people. It was fifty yeah, yeah, party, but
the venue was just dope.

Speaker 7 (07:22):
Walk you can go all the way around. It was
interesting because they said it's like.

Speaker 8 (07:26):
Four hundred and eighty units, only one hundred and thirty
of them are sold right now.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
It's super it's super dope, but it's super unpersonal feel
like building.

Speaker 4 (07:39):
It feels like off the building.

Speaker 8 (07:40):
Yeah, you know what I was thinking about that because
I don't know many people who grew up in Detroit
that grew up like in apartment buildings like this.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
Because I was gonna say people in the mix, man,
I like how you said that it was a low
key event. Because when we have fifty people will come,
we say that at a party. No fifty people? Is
it didn't work?

Speaker 7 (08:05):
Yeah? It was like a forty ninth birthday.

Speaker 6 (08:08):
Oh okay, okay, So it wasn't like an open event. No,
I don't want to I don't want to bunch too
much on that special. They didn't know that you, They
didn't enough people didn't know you were spinning.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
As the deal.

Speaker 8 (08:20):
No, it was supposed to be a small event. I
like doing a little smaller events. You keep the numbers low.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
Kool aid? What about you, man, what you get into
this weekend? I know you got the kiddos.

Speaker 10 (08:29):
Hey, yeah, definitely had the kiddos. Actually, this was one
of those weeks where it was family week the week
before Lions gets started, because we know how Lions here
here at what were sports And I'm looking about a
bunch of people, including you andson. It's boots on the ground,
it's all day. It probably starts Saturday night for us.
But spend time with them. Man, wanted to go out
and play catch with them. I told the people on

(08:50):
about uh the JJ elbow and that's me and my
son Jeremiah versus me, And that's kid kool Aid for y'all,
I don't know versus me and my daughter, and that's
Princess kool Aid and then Junior kool Aid. So that's
three kids we face off. Man, I'm all time quarterback,
and it's been fun to be able to see them
all kind of get back into it because lost a

(09:11):
little bit of that. So got to do that this weekend,
have fun with the family, treated wifey as well, and honestly,
it was just a family weekend and watching Tigers win.

Speaker 9 (09:20):
Man victory shades on you already.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
Know all right, you want the microphones like this, then
fucking fix end of the day. Uh So baseball, there
was news today Detroit Tigers. They gotta win. Let's jump
into that right now because the Tiger I golfed.

Speaker 5 (09:36):
You know what I'm saying. I got a little discombabulated
with the text. My apologies. I golf this past weekend
played Eagle Crest. Shout out to Anthony Tommy friend of
the show. We've had him on works with the Game Above.
The golf course was in great shape at Eagle Crest,
but Game Above has added a performance center to their
Golf Press golf course and he has helped put that in,
So shout out to Anthony told me and TJ. Lang

(09:58):
doing some things for the Alma Matern Eastern Michigan. But
the golf course was in get shaped. And then I
got a chance to play yesterday up at Lakelands with
my man Tim McCollum, who is the president here. So
appreciate the invite. It was fun played for to get
broke ninety Yesterday Tigers. Detroit Tigers get their win. Uh

(10:20):
go one three against the Blue Jays. They go one
three in a series. They did get the last win
with the Diamondbacks coming up. Where are you at with
this Detroit Tigers team. It was good to see Jack Flaherty,
good to see him have some strikes go ahead.

Speaker 6 (10:34):
So you remember a month ago I told you that
this team was headed for some regression period. As much
as I like this team, as much as I love
what aj Hinch is being been able to get out
of them on paper, that's not a twenty five win
over five hundred ball club in my opinion at least,
and you're seeing it start to catch up with them. Unfortunately,

(10:56):
over the last month they are dead last and all
major hitting CATSI is dead last in all major pitching categories,
and just over the last two weeks since we've gotten
back from the All Star break, the thing that I've
really been watching with the bats is they're just swinging
at everything. They are striking out. They're not getting deep
into pitch counts. And we saw that in both games

(11:18):
in the Woodward live stream last weekend. We saw that
evidently on Saturday. Fortunately we had Trek Scoubel that kept
it kind of close for a while. Now last night
things changed a little bit. We saw about half of
the bats really battle. They start to take some more balls,
and it's going to take some more patients out of
this offense to be able to pair with our starters,

(11:40):
because obviously, man our relief is in major, major troubles.
So ken they hold onto this division the way that
they're built currently today, possibly, but it's not just the
gardens that you have to worry about. You've got the
Kansas City Royals right there. I believe they're nine and
a half back, and then you've got the Twins who
are about eight and a half or eight games back.

(12:00):
I could be off on those numbers, but they're all
within ten games. You look what the Tigers did last
year a ten game gap is breachable. Any one of
those three teams could catch this squad. So the thing
that everyone in Detroit has been begging for is Scott
Harris to get on that phone, and not just for
some pieces like we saw Eierman get the last few years.

(12:22):
They need to make a splash. And in fact, there's
a reliever and Aohenio Suarez that are in town today
as we set up a three game series with the
Diamondbacks at Camerica Park. Don't let those two leave, Chris
Harris take their return ticket and keep them in Detroit
and then we go to Philly on the weekend.

Speaker 10 (12:42):
But we need some help, so you putting them on
that DJ reader plan. Don't let them leave Detroit. And
I absolutely feel that. And it's interesting to see how
these things have changed for the Tigers because aggressive at
the trade deadline is what Scott Harris said he was
going to be. Now they're not even in a position,
in my opinion, where they can to be aggressive to
put their team completely over the top. What we've seen

(13:03):
so far, at least after this trade deadline, we've seen
a team that needs a little bit more just to
keep the pace that we saw before the All Star breaking,
So I want to we got to take a quick one,
real quick. But when we get back, I want to
be able to talk to you guys about your confidence
in your belief in the Detroit Tigers. Chat family, smash
the like button, and I need to know you guys
confidence and belief in the Tigers too, your confidence belief

(13:26):
in them in the central as well as in the
al overall, because there's some teams starting to sneak up
on them as the Tigers have hit their first major
bout of adversity.

Speaker 9 (13:35):
But uh bray tell the good people about justice.

Speaker 4 (13:39):

Victory Tiger Show. It is the twenty mask.

Speaker 7 (16:59):
Come on, man, start that's Bad's gonna read everything there.

Speaker 5 (17:12):
You mentioned I wanted to get into real quick. We
saw it came on a couple of hours ago. Emanuel
class A and what's going on down there? They have
him linked to an ongoing investigation right now. The MLB
does in terms of potential, some some shadiness towards some
betting things. Uh answering, Yeah, the Fellas, When when will
we learned?

Speaker 6 (17:33):
Well? I don't know. I saw Malik Beasley and class
just walking down Woodward here you tell you know it's
an epidemic. Honestly, it is because what we're seeing is
these kids getting involved and they're watching their dads doing it,
and they're finding a way to the credit card and
they're making bets at fifteen, maybe even thirteen, and it's

(17:53):
translating into the adult life. But beyond just being a
vice for these people, it's a sexy thing thing you
see everywhere. You know, you're going to a to a
sportsbook stadium, sitting in a sportsbook section, getting your sportsbook beer.
I mean, it is so everywhere that I know how
you get away from it. But where you're about to
head is as a professional athlete, the players that you

(18:17):
do what you're doing. I mean, there's no bet you're
gonna win that's gonna cash more than your contract. And
if you're betting that much, you're a double fool.

Speaker 5 (18:24):
Look, I'm not judging anybody because at the end of
the day, Look we've all had our If you gamble before,
you've had your fair share of doing a little bit
too much.

Speaker 4 (18:30):
I myself included. That's why I don't gamble one thousand.

Speaker 6 (18:33):
So it's not you won the Life Lottery. Why would
you gamble because.

Speaker 5 (18:37):
Because at the end of the day, like the gambling
side of that is more so it's instead, oh it's
something quick saying whatever. But the problem for me is
it'd be different if this was legal for players. They'd
be different if it was legal for players, because then
you can understand a little bit more like, Okay, you
know players, they dive into a little bit of addiction.

Speaker 4 (18:57):
Now they have a problem. Now they're losing the way
that they've gone. It's illegal.

Speaker 5 (19:02):
Yeah, it is absolutely illegal, and everybody thinks they got
the beat on it. Well, they're not gonna catch me
because I'm gonna do this, and I'm gonna tell my
guy that you know, I'm gonna throw a ball on
the first pitch, you know, put a little money here. Well,
you can't do that when you're putting twenty five thousand
on the first pitch, when you're putting nine hundreds on
the first pitch, when you're doing things like this, I
don't understand why players are falling into this. It is

(19:26):
ill legal. You are doing something that is illegal.

Speaker 10 (19:30):
Yo, especially when you pair that with the fact that
people are getting picked off this era for whatever.

Speaker 9 (19:36):
It don't matter if you're in the g League.

Speaker 10 (19:38):
It don't matter if you're in college, it don't matter
if you're literally in the pros. They're picking everybody off
at first base with no hesitation, with ease.

Speaker 9 (19:46):
That's what makes it so weird to me that you
have these other.

Speaker 10 (19:49):
Athletes at the top of the thing who just believes
that they're untouchable if they will go and literally eviscerate
a Johntay Porter in this era, I believe that they're
using that stuff almost Hey, let's test the system. And
this is the day and age of AI. People can
walk down the street with glasses that can pick up
everything about you. Can you believe that you're gonna use
technology and hide from it.

Speaker 9 (20:10):
It's not happening.

Speaker 6 (20:11):
Speaking of what did you uh? You get those from
Connor Stallions? Where'd you get those? Classes?

Speaker 9 (20:17):
Sout out to White Claw who sponsored the Tigers tour?

Speaker 6 (20:20):
Is there a camera? There's no camera those.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
Yo.

Speaker 7 (20:24):
This is like the new It's like the new we
like stay off the apps, like stay off.

Speaker 6 (20:28):
The Alps story.

Speaker 10 (20:31):
Bro y'all know this is illegal.

Speaker 8 (20:33):
I'm not a gambling man, thank god, I don't gamble,
but I can see how it is so tempting with
the money and all that stuff, and it's just this
is ridiculous, Joe.

Speaker 7 (20:41):
It's like, just don't I feel like it's the weed
all over again.

Speaker 6 (20:51):
When you work at a corporate spot, they have a
block on your computer you can go on certain websites
and you can't. You can get around that if I'm running,
Like if I was Bill Belichick and I was coaching now,
I would be getting every damn phone and I'd be
putting some a block or I'd be checking he doesn't
use his own phone. But I'm seriously, if the teams

(21:14):
don't step in with more than just a rule, this
will continue to happen, and at a higher clip.

Speaker 5 (21:21):
Here's a question I pretty much don't even answer. But
here's a question, how long before gambling goes back the
opposite way and they try to put the genie in
the bottom, Like is that potentially on the table take
the general public or no more sports banning intern No.

Speaker 10 (21:37):
I almost felt like there was a greater chance that
they find some way to just allow it, because they did,
because they did soften the stand. So but like even
with Jagga was like if he betted a certain way,
then it's okay now. So I actually thought that there
was like some way for them to actually step closer
to allowing it. But you gotta be thinking now, man,
now I'm kind of curious about this. If they actually

(21:59):
go and say, you know what, let's put the toothpaste
back in.

Speaker 5 (22:01):
The two problem. The problem with that, though, is Jamo
wasn't betting to enhance himself like class a porter. Like
these guys made bets or they have and they did
things purpose to affect that bet. Jamo was betting on
some silly stuff. If I remember correctly, I think it was.

Speaker 7 (22:18):
What if they can bet, but not on their own sport,
like they have to register the bets.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
You can do that, and I mean you can do
that now, you just can't do it in the NFL.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
In certain places you can't do it.

Speaker 7 (22:29):
That's the only way you're gonna keep it.

Speaker 9 (22:32):
So just make it.

Speaker 5 (22:32):
You can bet whenever, just not on your sport, right, yeah, like,
just not on your sport. But that eliminate half of
the people. But you still have individuals that are betting
on them. How do you eliminate that aspect?

Speaker 6 (22:44):
All right? Speaking of which, let's say they have this
back in the day you were playing and let's say
you're a dirt back. What prop bet of your own
would you bet on and how would you influence it?

Speaker 5 (22:56):
I don't know, Like I wouldn't even know how to
bet it than cheap realistically I paid for it. I
played in situations where I didn't have control over catches
I was getting or catches that I wasn't getting.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
So it's like I wouldn't even know how to.

Speaker 10 (23:07):
Cheat you like that.

Speaker 6 (23:08):
The prop that on over five yards carry listen, run
me a suite, just give me, give me an end
of route. Ain't happening, ain't happening.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
Ain't happening.

Speaker 5 (23:16):
But this is interesting, you know, Like you said, we're
not trying to pass judgment, but Fellas, it's illegal. It
is illegal in this space. I don't understand what you
expect to gain out of this. You can only I
only see it going the opposite ways. Is an individual
whose name was at the trade deadline. There's a lot
of talks, a lot of teams particilarly picking him up
and moving him. Can't even do anything right now. This

(23:38):
is one of the ongoing investigations. He's cast himself and
his team at least right now, and he.

Speaker 6 (23:42):
Is truly one of the premiere young closers in the
game over the last five years. But at the end
of the day, this is great news for the Tigers.

Speaker 5 (23:51):
That is definitely great news for the Tigers. That we
were just talking about the Detroit Tigers. Man, what do
they need to do with the trade deadline?

Speaker 4 (23:59):
Because that is the question?

Speaker 5 (24:00):
And now we keep bringing up Matt se Saitt in
that seat and talked about what they want to do.
If you want to get this player, what are you
willing to give up?

Speaker 4 (24:06):
Answer? And I think that's what we are if what
do you need and what are you willing to give up.

Speaker 13 (24:13):
For us?

Speaker 6 (24:13):
Yeah, so I mean we threw a trade out yesterday
in the Tiger's livestream, Victor Vodnik from Colorado, this is
a team that is one of the easily worst teams.

Speaker 9 (24:25):
In the MLB.

Speaker 6 (24:25):
The Rockies are a nightmare. And this is a guy,
you know, high k guy. He's got a three flat
e RA. Don't love his whip, but you need bodies
right now. You saw them pick up Luke Jackson off
of the trash heap, a waiver wire pickup, and you
know he started off in the eighth looking kind of
good and then he gave up a bunch of runs,
So you need options right now. Tommy Kinley had his

(24:49):
first good outing in a month, but he's still not
the guy you want to put out there in the ninth.
You look at what will Vest has been over the
last few weeks. Another guy I don't want to put
out in the So they need whether it's going and
getting a Pete Fairbanks from the Devil Rays a true
closer for this squad, or you get somebody like Victor
and you give them options. You give AJ and Feder

(25:11):
some options to choose from. In high leverage situations, we
need more buyers. We probably need another starter, and we
certainly need another bat.

Speaker 4 (25:20):
I think we definitely another bat and definitely needs.

Speaker 6 (25:24):
Return. Yeah. Man, he's already put it out there. He
wants to be here. Detroit fans left it nothing more
than hearing an athlete say, hey, I actually want to
go to Detroit. So anytime you hear that. But this
guy's also raking. I mean it's a power right handed bat.
You put him over there at third so you can
move McKinstry in other spots. But Auchenil, that right now

(25:46):
for me is priority number one then you can figure
out the market and you can figure out who the
relievers are that you can get for a low cost.
But you know, the Victor voden nicktrade would probably cost
you our fifteenth and twentieth prospect. And when you have
the deepest prospects, you know pool in the MLB. Right now,
those are guys you can wait.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
Goodbye you big game yesterday for a couple of the Tigers,
as it was the last game against the Blue Jays
and the series.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
Dylan Dingler went two for two, not two three. He
had two heads.

Speaker 5 (26:14):
Parker medals had to his how you found a hit
and there I think it was Glabor Day as well
as he had.

Speaker 4 (26:19):
A home run shot.

Speaker 5 (26:21):
With that being said, you know, where are you right now,
kool Ai? With this team in the AL Central? Obviously
there are seven games and that seven and a half
up in AL Central. They've been dominating that division all season,
but as you've said, the last sixteen games has been
a little bit of a struggle for the Tigers. Where
are you with not the Al not the World Series.

(26:41):
Let's just start a local where you with the AL Central?

Speaker 10 (26:43):
I like that you said that because it starts and
ends with the Central, just like you know in football,
starts and inns with the North, those divisions matter.

Speaker 9 (26:50):
Obviously with the Central.

Speaker 10 (26:52):
In basketball not so much so when you're looking at
the Tigers, they have to put all their focus into that.

Speaker 9 (26:57):
As much as I would love to see them lead,
you know, poll to pole in.

Speaker 10 (27:00):
The Al, go out there and just smash everybody, if
you're not taking care of your division, you're not giving
yourself your best path to get to a World Series
this year. You have to be better than these guys,
and at one point in time had an opportunity to
probably push these teams in the selling early. Now you're
looking at it and it's a lot more close than
it than ever before then I ever thought it was
going to get this season. And that's where you look

(27:22):
at the squad right now you start to wonder do
they have anything in house? Because last year what helped
to spur and kick things into a different direction is
that they did get Carry Carpenter back healthy and the
Carry Carpenter was absolutely carried Bond sell out to my
guy Flannel during that stretch and it helped to propel them.
Special Talkusen took off. What does make me just a

(27:42):
little bit more happy. I guess when you talk about
this victory, though, is that they wanted the way that
we saw them win a lot of their games before
they all sat break and it was all the names
you mentioned Bright. You know, when you talk about laboratoris
when you talk about the contributions from Hovey, when you
talk about Dylan Dingler, those guys cannot lose pay.

Speaker 9 (28:00):
But I do believe that baseball being one hundred and
sixty two games, this was their first bit of like
losing streak.

Speaker 10 (28:07):
Other teams have done this, maybe not to the tune
of this one specific streak, but other teams have done this,
good teams multiple times this year, and it's the reason
why the Tigers did vault off to the top.

Speaker 6 (28:18):
Just to add on to your point, Kansas City has
gone out and said that they have become buyers now,
and that's because that's because a fifteen game lead is
now single digits, and you're inspiring teams to, hey, we
can do the same damn thing that the Tigers did
last year. Let's go on buy some talent.

Speaker 5 (28:37):
Yeah, and it has happened to other teams. You see
the Astros are on a six game slid. That's why
the Tigers actually have passed the Astros. So it happens
to all teams. It is an extremely long season. But
when you start a certain way, you know, teams get excited,
the fans get excited, and then you have the skit
that they're having right now. I think people are just
a little bit concern and it is cause for concern

(28:57):
to win which they are playing now.

Speaker 6 (28:59):
Yes, it is like.

Speaker 10 (29:01):
How confident are you guys though still in this team,
being being able to come through in the central man
to still be that squad, Like, is your confidence shaking
at all?

Speaker 5 (29:11):
My confidence isn't shaking in the Central Like answering the
central question, we're finding the Central they've got enough, they
have enough of a league.

Speaker 4 (29:17):
They still have the best manager in the central that
is a J.

Speaker 9 (29:20):
Hinch.

Speaker 5 (29:20):
They will have some players that will come back. I
think they're much better than the guards. Fact, the Guardians
they're facing something right now. You say, what is distractions?
That's what they're dealing with. A manual class saying that's
not good for them. The Twins and Socks not worry
about them, So they'll win this central one hundred cent.

Speaker 4 (29:34):
I'm still confident in that, I sure hope.

Speaker 6 (29:36):
So my confidence is waning a little bit. Well, it's
definitely it's waning. You know, I got we had Mass
a month ago, and this team will be in this
in the World Series. Shout out Mass, Shout out Jersey
Mike as well if they're watching. But you know, when
I look at at all the devoted you know, confidence

(29:56):
that this team was going to be a World Series team. Sure,
when you had a fifteen game lead in the Central,
they're going to win the Central, or so we thought.
I didn't see them as a shoe in to make
these World Series because I don't love their roster on paper.
I love what aj Hinch has been able to do
it with it. I love what Chris Fetter has been
able to do with the pitching. But now you're looking

(30:17):
at three teams within distance of you. They they're right there,
all right. I felt that this was going to be
a close division all year, So to get the lead
that we got it gave me a false sense of
security and I felt that way. I've said that to
you guys now. At the end of the day, I
believe that this is the best managed team in this Central.

(30:38):
I believe that their talent is on par or slightly
better than everybody else. So we're going to have to
see if this team has the same grit that they
showed last year. I believe they will show that same grit,
but they may only win this division by two games.

Speaker 5 (30:53):
You'll get your wish because after this three game series
against the Diamondbacks and then the Fields they have the
Twin Angels and Twins again, so you get a chance.

Speaker 6 (31:02):
And we'll find out a lot about this.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
What they are made of. Look, stay a quick commercial breaks,
get a message from.

Speaker 10 (31:09):
Yeah, definitely, let's hear it from.

Speaker 9 (31:12):

then we're gonna have tell the people where they can

Speaker 5 (35:56):
Yeah, we gotta get your We have to like not
betting now the ones that the betting, like Jamo was,
I get it like the NFL is very trying to
figure their rules out. They made some rules they didn't work.

Speaker 4 (36:09):
Jamo got a.

Speaker 5 (36:09):
Pass, you got two games back, like that kind of stuff.
I understand you're trying to figure out to navigate this
space perfectly fine, class A the porter. The coaches from
the New Jersey Nets that were betting, like coaches can't
bet it all, like you know this, Like the New
York Jets a couple of years ago, they had some
coaches that got in fact, one of them was a
former wide receiver Austin Miles that played for Tony Romer

(36:33):
and the Dallas Cowboys.

Speaker 4 (36:34):
He got in trouble, so uh, stop betting.

Speaker 7 (36:37):
You just can't.

Speaker 5 (36:37):
Anybody like comic book movies, Fantastic Four, Marvel, d C.

Speaker 10 (36:42):
I'm a DC are fanatic man d C Batman Come on, no, no, no,
no no, you can say Batman fanatic saying d C
fanatic DC.

Speaker 5 (36:55):
Yeah, like DC's DC's atrocious movies have made it the
coach fouling like you're either Marvel and DC and nobody's
gonna be d C. When I was a kid, like
the d C comic books, the detective comics, those are
better than Marvel.

Speaker 6 (37:08):
Bat Batman is probably the best written character in all
of superhero history period.

Speaker 4 (37:14):
It's all about your antagonists.

Speaker 9 (37:16):
Yeah, but you used the Michigan of superhero.

Speaker 6 (37:18):
Okay, but cool. Take out Batman? Now, name a great
DC movie, Movieman. No, no, we took Batman out. Now
name a great DC movie. I'll give you four minutes.
I'll give you four minutes. We'll get back to Ryan Reynolds.

Speaker 9 (37:35):
Green Lantern.

Speaker 6 (37:38):
Maybe the worst, the worst, that's DC. But that was horrible.
When you when you're making fun of all, when you're
making fun.

Speaker 4 (37:46):
Of your woman, get at it. Like the first one
was palatable, I guess the second one was in atrocity.

Speaker 7 (37:55):
You know, than palatable.

Speaker 3 (37:57):
You know it's bad.

Speaker 7 (37:59):
It's you got to get creative.

Speaker 5 (38:01):
But I saw fantastic for over the weekend, and I
think what we have to do now, welcome back to
the show. What we have to do in this space
is movies won't ever be like they were the first
time you saw Winter Soldiers, like the first time you
saw the Avengers, the first time you saw Blade, the
first time you saw Batman with Michael Keaton and then
again with Christen.

Speaker 6 (38:21):
Bell Hell, Guardians of the Galaxy.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
First one was amazing.

Speaker 5 (38:24):
First one was amazing because we've already seen it, like
all of the exit, like all this stuff. So now
you just gotta dumb your expectations down because we're not
the audience that they're pandering to anymore. They're not they
do not care what forty two thinking about the movie.

Speaker 6 (38:39):
I'm not you, And yet the best one ever ratings wise,
is an R rated Deadpool.

Speaker 10 (38:46):
Yeah, that's the crazy thing, because look, I wanted to
see ben a Fleck versus death stroke, his Batman versus
death Stroke, but they said, we got to go to
a more family friendly style of comic book movies because
parents are not gonna bring their kid to see death
Stroke versus Batman right now.

Speaker 9 (39:04):
That's why they're moving towards the more family friendly movies.

Speaker 5 (39:07):
And that's why DC like in terms of what their
comic book actually is. That's why it sucks for them
because Marvel is fantasy. Like, anyway you slice the dice it,
you got guys coming from the other side of the galaxy.
Marvel is all about that. It's fantasy. You can portray
that easier in the movie. You can play portray that
on the screen. You can make it CGI, you can
bring kids, you can add that element, and it's still hiss.

Speaker 4 (39:29):
DC is a dark comic.

Speaker 10 (39:32):
It's dark.

Speaker 5 (39:33):
It's killing in the alley. It's people's parents getting killed.
It turns them into Batman. It's the Joker going sadistic
and then turning into the Joker. Like this has to
be rated R to HIT. If you can make it
rated R DC would be a much better you know.

Speaker 9 (39:47):
So it's doffe DC.

Speaker 10 (39:49):
But I was gonna say, it's so dark that you
even get the fans and even people like Superman in
the comic saying Batman, just kill the.

Speaker 9 (39:56):
Joker and put this over with. Now, It's like that's
what their comics really and.

Speaker 6 (40:00):
That's what That's why the Christian Bale Batman was so good,
because without the R rating, it still was dark, very
very dark. Now it's been four minutes. I'm going to
help you out here. I got an assist from Freddy
Felt in the chat here shout out to the legend.
In fact, in fact, it is his uh one billion
dollar class action lawsuit Hard Bob Bobble had that we

(40:21):
are giving away today. We are giving that away today
courtesy of Freddy Felt. But Freddy Felt brought up Joker
number one, which is fantastic. However, I need to talk
about the atrocity that Joker to aka Joker the musical.
What was that garbage?

Speaker 7 (40:41):
You didn't want tunes about Joker?

Speaker 10 (40:43):
It was so bad stop.

Speaker 7 (40:45):
I was literally I was fast forwarding the songs you
hate Hamilton to No.

Speaker 6 (40:51):
I like musicals. Joker is not a musical. Why not?

Speaker 3 (40:55):
What do you mean?

Speaker 6 (40:56):
Why not get if you want to make if you
want to make a Joker Broadway show and have people
go and see it, sounds that's fine.

Speaker 7 (41:07):
You have anybody with color purple, sure, but here here's.

Speaker 6 (41:12):
My issue with the color purple. You comparing Joker to
the color purple. Op' not happy about that.

Speaker 4 (41:19):
I'm just saying, nobody cares.

Speaker 5 (41:21):
About Oprah pools some moves that last movie, but we'll
keep that on.

Speaker 6 (41:26):
Oprah would have been better in that music hall. It
was terrible joking Joker too, So.

Speaker 5 (41:31):
That what I was gonna say about the movie is
this was my disgust with the musical side of it.
I watched musicals that have no problem with that. There's
some really good musicals that can go down the list.
No need to do that you cannot spring on the
audience the week before the f and movie comes out.

Speaker 4 (41:49):
That is a musical.

Speaker 6 (41:50):
Amen, that was That was the mistake.

Speaker 4 (41:52):
It's not about it being a musical.

Speaker 5 (41:54):
If you would have told me this when you first
launched a part of do if you will, fine Folio do,
if you would announced it, then not get eight months
to digest that, you know whatever?

Speaker 6 (42:04):
That is?

Speaker 4 (42:04):
All right? Do I want to go see it? Okay,
I'll go see it.

Speaker 6 (42:07):
I know what it is.

Speaker 5 (42:08):
A week before I still got to see it because
I've been waiting to see it for two years, right,
and now you tell me a week before that's where
they messed up.

Speaker 6 (42:14):
And that's shady waiting waiting to see it for two years.
I was hype as hell to see it. And as
Michael where he pointed out on the super Chat, the
only real joker Jack Nicholson, hey.

Speaker 10 (42:31):
For he Heath did amazing.

Speaker 4 (42:35):
He did an amazing job.

Speaker 5 (42:36):
The good the cool thing about comic book because there's
so many different illustrations, there's so many different particular writers
that create the stories over the eras and over the
years the characters changed. So Heath Ledger did a very
very very good job with that dark type of Joker
that was in the eighties and nineties and that they

(42:56):
created in the two thousands. I think Jack Nicholson embody
the first Joker was in the comic book, So you
know you you can skin it cat a different way.

Speaker 6 (43:05):
If there's any number one for me, if there's any
role of any superhero or villain to play, I always wanted.

Speaker 9 (43:14):
The Joker.

Speaker 6 (43:15):
I got that under bite. Baby, who would you play?
If you could play anybody in any of comic book history,
who would you want to.

Speaker 9 (43:22):
Be cast as?

Speaker 4 (43:23):
I played a character that got all the comic book
stuff going, and that's Blade.

Speaker 6 (43:29):
Answer start giving.

Speaker 5 (43:32):
Blade is credit because that was the first movie that
they saw the comic book can work. And from Blade
they started all the Iron Man and everything else. So
you better start giving that more love. That's why he
was in whatever movie was in one it might get lost.

Speaker 6 (43:44):
I got something from the chatter.

Speaker 5 (43:48):
I got some wide receivers that talk about Ledger.

Speaker 6 (43:50):
Phoenix or Jack. I gotta go with ledger Man Phoenix
Didney Heath Ledger. I don't know if you guys know this,
but he locked himself in one of this nastiest motels
in downtown New York. He kept a journal and he
wrote things that he felt the Joker would write, like

(44:10):
killing puppies and stuff. And they will not release this diary.
The family has put it under lock and key because
it is so dark and it really gives a glimpse
into the spiral that he put himself to be able
to truly portray the Joker.

Speaker 5 (44:26):
Conversation you had with Jack before that character. Jack told
him be careful, really, he said, his character is a
very dark character. Wow, and he's And when you when
you understand fellow method actors like you did, I know
you're a method actor. Method actors they get trapped into
those characters a lot of time, and after they do
a movie, it takes a couple of months maybe here,
to decompress. He had a conversation with him before he

(44:46):
even took the role.

Speaker 4 (44:47):
He said, this is what this role is going to do,
and that's fascinating.

Speaker 10 (44:51):
Yeah, definitely, rest that was a tough one because the
performance was one that was heralded by everybody, and you know,
to see in past and people thought they are we
ever going to get a follow up?

Speaker 9 (45:01):
You know, obviously when he passes, that's that's that for that.
But his life.

Speaker 10 (45:06):
You know everything he did up to that point. Man
shout out to Heath Ledger. I see some people that
are giving their love form but one of the jokers,

But my favorite Batman and my favorite Joker Mark Kevin Conroy. Batman.

Speaker 9 (45:22):
I grew up on tasks, I grew up on the
animated series, and like that was it for me.

Speaker 10 (45:26):
When they let Kevin Conroy finally play a weird version
of Batman live action on the TV show.

Speaker 9 (45:31):
Even though it was hit the version I wanted to see,
I was still like, yeahes my guy. Rest in peace
to Kevin Conroy too.

Speaker 10 (45:38):
He did pass this past year from from cancer, I believe,
so shout out to him and the original voice as
I like to call it a Batman.

Speaker 5 (46:12):

Speaker 4 (46:15):
Go green, go white?

Speaker 5 (46:16):
Because I played for the Jets and I will be
seeing the New York Jets this Friday and Saturday. And
I also got an interview coming with Aaron Glenn, So
excited about that.

Speaker 4 (46:25):
You know what else I'm excited about.

Speaker 5 (46:26):

Brad Holmes drafted and he was going to replace Jamison Williams,
and that wide receivers Isaac Tesla had.

Speaker 4 (46:34):
A big, big catch this weekend. In fact, I think
we may have it for you.

Speaker 7 (46:38):

Speaker 5 (46:39):
You're excited about that? Huh, I'm excited about the Isaac
testa guy, what.

Speaker 4 (46:43):
What do you think?

Speaker 10 (46:45):
You want to?

Speaker 4 (46:45):
Wait?

Speaker 9 (46:47):
No, no, no, I'm gonna tea the question beforehand because
I'm wondering.

Speaker 10 (46:50):
I'm wondering, did Brad Holmes just go and scoop up
that next great unherolded white receiver that cares the ricky
I'm looking at you.

Speaker 6 (47:04):

but we got the NFL wide receiver on this show, and.

Speaker 9 (47:28):
That I think the show goes by his name as well.

Speaker 5 (47:30):
I may have difference of the thing, but we'll see
all Blacks say about black Rock. First, Black Rocks eight

Detroit stand up one hundred and uh Freddy Felt chimed
in on your own personal prop bet Bray would have
bet plus eleven receptions plus one eighty nine yards plus

(52:23):
three touchdowns. I don't want to read this last part,
but versus Sparty.

I knew exactly that's that was.

Speaker 5 (52:31):
That's one of the ones that will live in infamy

Speaker 3 (52:34):
That's whatever.

Speaker 6 (52:35):
I remember that one all too well myself.

Speaker 5 (52:38):
My friend, you know something that I want people to
remember all too well, and that is the play of
Isaac Tesla, receiver drafted this year by the Detroit Lions
on Arkansas. Seems like somebody in their life sky koolaid
over here.

Speaker 6 (52:52):
Man at that Look at that cats, that's a white guy.

Speaker 9 (53:00):
What the victory says that? Let me put the victory.

Speaker 6 (53:03):
Get that camera going, baby, get that camera back up
real quick.

Speaker 7 (53:07):
And maybe where I grew up and who I played football?
Are we still shocked that white boys.

Speaker 10 (53:10):
Are good athletes?

Speaker 6 (53:12):
Corners, yes, corner yeah, but like I've.

Speaker 7 (53:17):
Seen plenty of white boys that can like back in
ball like this, This is it still a shock?

Speaker 6 (53:22):
Well, I mean there's a lot of them at SBS,
you and Grand Valley, you know, but not not in
the league. Not in the league.

Speaker 5 (53:29):
How long how long did it take for us not
to be shocked about black quarterbacks?

Speaker 6 (53:33):
Hey, shut out Mike Crawford. Shut up Mike Crawford.

Speaker 5 (53:38):
But like the opposition was, the opposition still is so.

Speaker 7 (53:44):
Opposition talking about I guess I'm not shocked by it.
I don't get that shocked.

Speaker 4 (53:51):
By white receiver. No, you can play play.

Speaker 6 (53:55):
As a as a delegate from the from the white race.
I am still surprised a white boy can go up.
We get it the way that Poka cat as a
delegate from the white job.

Speaker 13 (54:07):
What is it?

Speaker 7 (54:08):
It's not white delegations.

Speaker 6 (54:09):
Well you're a representative and representative.

Speaker 10 (54:12):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (54:13):
I appreciate the clarification record.

Speaker 5 (54:15):
Yeah, it just happened, just half and half is understood.
If you're shock, I get that. We were you with
Asa Tesla. He made a hell of a catch this week,
but you know, coming out of Arkansas, the kind of
the thought around him was he wasn't the third down
guy that they threw to.

Speaker 4 (54:29):
He wasn't the started. He wasn't even the second wide receiver.

Speaker 5 (54:31):
He was a third wide receiver that they played in
the slots. When he catches five hundred and forty five
hourards only three touchdown, had a high upside as it
relates to yards for catch, but he wasn't the gallon
and team.

Speaker 4 (54:41):
How much of that bothers you, Kol You.

Speaker 10 (54:43):
Know what, man, it bothered me a little bit until
you dig around and you still to realize too, he
didn't play with me like any top tier or even
good quarterbacks. And sometimes I wonder, when you're talking about
preserving a wide receiver, is it better for you to
keep this guy safe if he has next level talent
or and he's not playing with a quarterback that can
throw him open more or less, throwing him into maybe

(55:05):
medicine ball territory. So part of me was wondering, okay,
is it who he's playing with, because then you see
him at this level. We haven't seen h An nfil yet.
It's just training camp, and you know how we do
with training camp. Bray, you understand Detroit fans, we we
will drink all of the kool aid. But what we've
seen has been very, very impressive. And that's where with me.
I also add this one to a bit too. Brad

(55:26):
Holmes is the one who identified home. And we know
that when we see these types of guys that get
they're shifty, they got short hands, they can run their
routes clean. You put them with a quarterback like a
Jared Goff. We've seen Jared Goff go and and whoever
wide receiver three and wide receiver four is, he's been
able to go out there and utilize them as well
with barely any chemistry. Now we got a young buck

(55:48):
who I think is showing some really good skill sets
at the base level and at least at this level.
Now we want to see him doing the preseason. We
want to see him doing the NFL at this level.
He's making a lot of big noise. Man, he's got
a lot of fans, some fans on one side thinking
he's about to be something. Some fans on the other
side they believe, come on, guys, he ain't gonna be
nothing more than baby or wide receiver.

Speaker 4 (56:06):
For this is what I think, And I'll turn over
to answer aff.

Speaker 6 (56:10):
I say this.

Speaker 5 (56:11):
I think it's a lot of what you said in
the sense of, you know, your draft as a tesla.
You see he has the upsides. You see he has
the numbers. You see the skill, you see the speed,
you see the hands, you see the size.

Speaker 4 (56:21):
You see how he tested which was off the charts.

Speaker 10 (56:24):
All of that is great.

Speaker 5 (56:26):
He wants to be good. He wants to be great.
He wanted to play for the Detroit Lions. And I
think you mixed that into Jared Goff and what he
is a cerebral quarterback understanding. You see how he gets guys.
Once he trusted, whether it's Tim Patrick, whether it's Josh Renolds.
Once he trust these guys, he can put the ball
and he can find him. Sam Laporte in the list
goes on. So I think you have a quarterback that

(56:48):
is primed, like you said, and I think you have
a wide receiver room that will get the best out
of him. Ama Ron Saint Brown. We can't say enough
about him as it relates to taking things seriously, as
it relates to film and knowing that that's a guy
I want to be right next to. That's the guy
that I want to be right up under it. And
then he also has something that freaky ability. Well that's
when you go lean on Jamo. That's when you have
conversations with Jamie and you're watching him in real time

(57:10):
figuring out this game as well. I think the room,
the room is very conducive to success that he will have.
And I think it's it's Brad Holmes making a great
pick and they ain't got him here.

Speaker 6 (57:20):
Who is the NFL receiver that was your mentor when
you got to the league?

Speaker 5 (57:24):
I didn't have any And that was one of my
biggest exactly.

Speaker 4 (57:27):
That's one of my biggest things exactly.

Speaker 6 (57:28):
And when you talked about him coming here to a
top notch wide receiver room, you have that you have
a top notch wide receivers coach as well, and this
kid has come to a team where culture as everything.
And if you've seen him any kind of an interview
with Tesla, this guy is a stand up kid. Absolutely.
But something that really stands out for me was Brad

(57:50):
Holmes said this was his favorite wide receiver in the
drafty not the best necessarily, but the fa And when
you look at that, it means, Okay, well, if he's
not the best, why is he your favorite? Well, because
his culture is right, He's going to come in with
the right attitude. He's a hard worker, but he's also

(58:11):
happily going to come in as a blocker, as a gunner,
maybe even as a return man. This guy will work
his way up from the bottom, taught and mentored by
some of the best wide receivers in the league. And
I just think that this kid landed in the perfect
spot because Tesla could have gone somewhere else in the

(58:31):
fourth round and barely gotten any run.

Speaker 10 (58:34):
You know what, A lot of what you're saying, No,
that's some of the same, you know, I guess some
of the same concepts that Brad Holmes used when he
talked about Brian Brands.

Speaker 9 (58:44):
He said that, look, I know.

Speaker 10 (58:45):
You guys, some people they base things off of just
the combined numbers, and you can see guys shoot up
the draft board. I'm looking at the character, I'm looking
at the grit, but I'm also looking at who's this
guy on the field with pads?

Speaker 9 (58:55):
When I pop on the tape, he looks like a
football player.

Speaker 6 (58:58):
Same thing with Jack Campbell, same thing with Jamir Gibbs. Everybody,
why are you reaching for these guys? And look how
they fit?

Speaker 10 (59:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (59:05):
I think, but okay, I'll give some pushback on that.
The difference with that is Taw Gibbs went to what
school Bryan Bench played in the secondary and what school
Jack Campbell played linebacker?

Speaker 4 (59:17):
In the Big Ten.

Speaker 5 (59:17):
You can laugh while you want to about WIWI is
on the offensive side of the ball, but on defense,
I comes to play. Their backers come to play and
they play well. So you look at those three, it's like,
where did that's different than Arkansas?

Speaker 6 (59:30):
Where did imn rogo?

Speaker 4 (59:31):
USC?

Speaker 6 (59:33):
I mean pack ten kind of packed nothing these days.
That's why they're in the Big Ten.

Speaker 5 (59:37):
True, but you know USC is not a swing in
the miss when you're thinking about Arkansas. The guy that
didn't even start at Arkansas, you know what I'm saying.
So that would be the pushback to when people were like,
is this another is this another trial and error? Is
this another Geevonni Maneu? Is this another insert player that
Brad Holmes is draft in the fourth and sixth round,
Like that hit on a bunch, so we give him

(59:57):
the credit. It's like, oh well he got amara say,
end of discussion for every am around Saint Brown, though,
there's a couple in those fourth rounds that you're like,
is this reaching?

Speaker 10 (01:00:07):
And he would be one But that's why I wanted
to be able to ask you the question of you know,
out of the things you've seen, your perspective of being
around NFL training camps and even college, you know, when
you see a person like this man, how much stock
do you.

Speaker 9 (01:00:18):
Put into it? Because he's not the traditional one.

Speaker 10 (01:00:20):
You're right, it would be different if we're talking about
a guy who we've seen perform at against the highest
levels at each level, and now he's at the NFL
and we know, okay, at least in three four years
his peers are going to be the ones at the top.

Speaker 9 (01:00:31):
We've seen him perform against him.

Speaker 10 (01:00:33):
Same thing that people said about k but with Tesla,
you got a lot of people excited about what he
could be based on what they've seen in a training camp.
Part of me feels like this, even though I'm drinking
the kool aid. Part of me feels like we've been
here before and with some not so great memories.

Speaker 4 (01:00:49):
If you want to know if he's going to be
good or not, this is what you're going to see.

Speaker 5 (01:00:54):
You get a lot of reps during training camp because
if it's a tired because you don't want to run
bets out, you want to get some work in put
Tesla against the twos against the ones, or hey, look
we'll give you guys a period out Tesla. You get
in there some other receivers. So he's gonna get a
lot of work. He's got to start making catches like
this consistently like and yes, catches like that. I know
it was a great catches one hand. Yes, he has

(01:01:16):
to make those catches. If you want to get on
the field, you gotta get noticed. So he's got to
consistently do this.

Speaker 3 (01:01:20):
He will get.

Speaker 5 (01:01:21):
Premium opportunities this Thursday to start, as well as the
rest of the preseason games. You're gonna be one of
only wide receivers playing in there that has an opportunity.

Speaker 4 (01:01:29):
To be a three or four.

Speaker 5 (01:01:30):
You gotta make plays in those games. I saw Victor
Cruz coming out of you Mass Mass his rookie year.
We played them. It's Jets versus Giants, first time I've
ever seen. It's the second preseason game. Rex Ryan wanted
to Rex wanted to bury the Giants and prove that

(01:01:51):
we were the team in New York. So we played
a lot of starters. The Giants. They chose to treat
it like number two game in the preseason back then
Victor Crew players a game. He starts the game, has
one hundred and eighty seven yards, has three touchdowns. And
guess who those touchdowns were on. They were on Drel
Reeves and Antonio Camarti, all one hundred and eighty seven
yards and all three touchdowns. I saw that. I knew

(01:02:13):
what he was gonna be. But it starts in practice.
I want to see a lot more players like this,
get that confidence going, you start to see it, because
then you start to believe it.

Speaker 6 (01:02:22):
And if you didn't watch this live, most of us didn't.
But that was a pick thrown by heading it hooked
Tesla took that ball away.

Speaker 10 (01:02:31):
Would the people like to see it? Courtesy of the
Detroit we got keep the mics to keep keeping. We
got three different angles of this thing, you know, and
we'll loop it around. Man, So you guys talk about
it because we got an NFL wide receiver. I'm gonna
continue tomb watching.

Speaker 4 (01:02:47):
Can break it down. Here we go, Here we go.

Speaker 5 (01:02:54):
So he didn't.

Speaker 6 (01:03:00):
Like has been really excited for him getting that because
he knows that should have.

Speaker 4 (01:03:05):
Saved you saved his But that's all.

Speaker 5 (01:03:10):
That was a hell of a text if the catch
is drink listening.

Speaker 4 (01:03:14):
It's some technical things.

Speaker 7 (01:03:15):
I still can't get over the spike. That must be
one of them, coaches, bro I got you've been there before.

Speaker 10 (01:03:19):
You want to see that spike, you get it.

Speaker 7 (01:03:20):
I can't see it. You can't stand I can't stand it.

Speaker 9 (01:03:24):
School.

Speaker 6 (01:03:25):
You've been there before. But he has no he has
That's the thing.

Speaker 7 (01:03:29):
You Let me tell you that it was a little
kid like it. But act like you're not even in
You're not even in the game.

Speaker 6 (01:03:35):
I like.

Speaker 5 (01:03:39):
Chal passes ballall look long time.

Speaker 6 (01:03:44):
Both the other angle too, Sea can see the inside
a little double on humbling over little bit break through news.

Speaker 5 (01:03:53):
He's just give me a chance, though, Like that's all
you can add, even though it was a bad throat
as a wide receiver, especially you know you're talking about
Testa six four myself sixty and has four.

Speaker 7 (01:04:03):
Yeah, he could have put it.

Speaker 5 (01:04:04):
He gave he gave him a chance. He throw the
ball out of bounds. We hate one quarterbacks do away
inside and now I gotta get smacked by well the
safety takes the ball or you throw it out of bounds.

Speaker 4 (01:04:13):
Over to four out of bounds.

Speaker 6 (01:04:15):
You like hearing this? Dante one fifty one, the legend
in the chat. We always appreciate you, Dante. Breaking news
g The Denver Broncles and wide receiver Courtland Sudden have
agreed to terms on a four year, ninety two million
dollar contract extension. This kid came SMU if I'm correct,
when this kid came out of college?

Speaker 3 (01:04:34):
What happened?

Speaker 5 (01:04:37):
How much money he got?

Speaker 6 (01:04:38):
Oh, that's what I thought you were upset about. I
was like, well, I either forgot a pause somewhere or
he mad about you the money? You mad about the
money ninety two million? But yeah, son is a player
who never had a quarterback until this last year. I
really think that he's one of the better wide receivers

(01:04:59):
in the league. Slept on continue right, I agree, I'm
not mad.

Speaker 4 (01:05:03):
I'm not man. No such thing as mad about that
man's money. I don't count people.

Speaker 6 (01:05:07):
When I hear Bill Russell talking back in the day
about contracts and stuff, and those most poor boys are
making nothing in the.

Speaker 4 (01:05:12):
Sex making twenty three and a half. This is like
it is like Christy Kirk all over again.

Speaker 6 (01:05:18):
Yeah, I'm down with that one. I never saw I
never understood it, never at all.

Speaker 4 (01:05:23):
They will always be the worst one, but oh twenty.

Speaker 6 (01:05:26):
Million, Bray, we're at one hundred and eighteen likes and
we're still a move. We are crushing towards two hundred.
Smash that Chat.

Speaker 9 (01:05:33):
Get into that.

Speaker 10 (01:05:34):
Listen, We're gonna get We're gonna have a March giveaway
by the end of the show too. Maybe we'll we'll
do that after our switch or break segment today got
a switch a break segment. But shout out to the
Chat family forgetting to rush that light goal before the
first hour was even over. Man, shout out to you guys.

Speaker 9 (01:05:49):
Let's get to two hundred and now, Yes, sir.

Speaker 5 (01:05:51):
Another another notable name, another rookie name that's important is
the number one overall draft pick for the Detroit Lions.
That's the lead Williams know the defensive line is going
to be for the Lions this year. He's gonna have
to fill in a major way for Aleeen McNeil early
on that year.

Speaker 4 (01:06:07):
He's gonna have to.

Speaker 1 (01:06:08):
Look.

Speaker 5 (01:06:08):
I know he's a rookie, but there will be a
lot on him. Were you with Talie Williams in the
progress off out of camp from him?

Speaker 10 (01:06:14):
Listen, man, when you talk about the interior of that
defensive line you want it right, especially when you're talking
about some question marks on the other side of Hutch
in terms of his book impairing. Is Davenport gonna be
there or not? A lot of people don't believe he's
gonna play seven games this year. So Tyler Williams now
finds himself in a big position in which we thought
maybe Alee McNeil misses maybe the first part of the season,

(01:06:35):
maybe the first couple of games. No, he might be
out six weeks, seven weeks. Then we thought, okay, well
we got some of these other players that you know
he tendered, like Malcolm Rodriguez, who we know we can
help with getting pressure and trying to blow up things
along that defensive line.

Speaker 9 (01:06:49):
No, he's still hurt now.

Speaker 10 (01:06:50):
So now you got a Tate raightlch and Tayleerk Williams
in particular, who are stepping into some big, big, big,
big big positions. I'm not hearing like all the big noise,
And I think that that until they can really get pads,
until they can really start doing reps against other teams,
like the joint practices and such, that's what we'll really
be able to single in on. But I do feel
like if you're not hearing like he's making mistakes and

(01:07:12):
you're not hearing his name being called like that, then
that means he's doing his job. And I think that
he's finding himself as we as closer and closer to
the season, and one of the most pivotal roles because
he has to be one of those guys that helps
boaster that middle while the rest of this team is
getting healthy at those same positions.

Speaker 5 (01:07:29):
And a more pressure on rookie Tate Rallis or rookie Wow.

Speaker 6 (01:07:35):
That's a hell of a question. I was gonna immediately
say Tate because he's under center, and there's just so
much that goes into getting that rapport with your quarterback,
understanding coverages and different blocking schemes. So in terms of
all of the responsibilities that the center has, I would
just naturally say it's Tate because of his position. But

(01:07:58):
when you look at the lass of Levi, when you
consider that a leam isn't going to be around until
Thanksgiving possibly later, and then you look at, well, who
are the other guys in the middle, Ray Lopez, you
know some of these guys are mostly fill in you know,
rotational players. Yeah, listen TYLERK Williams. You look at j
T and Sawyer over in OSU and the big numbers

(01:08:20):
that they put up, They don't do that without a
monster like TYLERK Williams in the middle of that defensive line,
a guy that lived in the backfield, pressuring all the time,
tackles for loss. Again, you're not going to see an
interior alignment, you know, put up in Dominican sue type
sack numbers. But he's got more sacks than heavyweight's favorite

(01:08:41):
Shamar Stewart, who had four and a half over his
career at Texas. So for me, this title a kid
again comes back to the culture. They love this kid.
He's going to fit in as a lion. But he's
uber productive. He was uber productive for the Buckeys and
one of the most gritty conferences in the nation, and

(01:09:03):
he's gonna be the exact same theory thing here in
the grittiest division in the NFC. Love it can't wait
for that.

Speaker 9 (01:09:11):
I don't know who full State Farms is talking about.

Speaker 10 (01:09:14):
I'm wondering full State definitely specified because he says Holmes
wasted that pick.

Speaker 9 (01:09:18):
So I'm wondering if it's not the one or the
TI League one, because I'm sure ty Leak is going
to ball out this year.

Speaker 6 (01:09:24):
And they're standing over ty Leak because he was taking
ten point fifteen earlier than well where mel Kiper had him.

Speaker 10 (01:09:30):
But we see the need now though, Like Brad Holmes
talked about the fact that you guys don't see the needs.
Think about when they took jam on and people say
why are you doing that? Exactly then he said jamwill
became a need for us. And that's where I'm looking
at this situation. Now, look how things have gone. People
thought we got to go edge with the first two picks.

Speaker 9 (01:09:47):
I was one of those guys. Guilty as charged.

Speaker 10 (01:09:49):
He went interior and interior on both sides of the
defensive line, both sides of the line, defensive and offensive.
And then what do you know, a month and a
half goes by and then boom, boom boom. Right now,
all of a sudden, Alien is gonna miss more time.
All of a sudden, Malcolm Rodriguez is gonna miss more time.
Now it's looking like Brad Holmes knew what he was
doing all along.

Speaker 9 (01:10:09):
And this is the thing. I believe that there is
a lot of pressure on these guys.

Speaker 10 (01:10:12):
But right from your perspective, because we've seen these rookies
and these young players have to step in and play
big positions early on, it was because they had to.

Speaker 9 (01:10:21):
Are the Lions. Looks like they're still in that position, Brom.

Speaker 5 (01:10:25):
Yeah, the young guys will have to step in a
little bit earlier. I think Tyler Williams has a lot
of pressure on him as well. You know, you put
him next to DJ Reader. I think that'll help him out.
He has a veteran that helim you eight hunches to
come back this year. I think they want to funnel
it to the left for to the right. They don't
allow guys to run through the middle, and that's what
Talley will come up big for them.

Speaker 4 (01:10:43):
You brought up the numbers and sawyer.

Speaker 5 (01:10:45):
He definitely was in that backfield in with the exception
of one game, but other than that, he was in
the backfield a lot for Ohio State.

Speaker 6 (01:10:51):
He didn't get much done in that game, did they
Not at all? Not at all, Not at all.

Speaker 5 (01:10:56):
But I'm gonna go with Tate Raleis, and it's because
of what you too earlier. He has more pressure on
him because he's got to learn the center position. He's
coming in under after Frank right now, it doesn't matter.
He has to learn the position. He's got to learn
the snap count. He's got to exchange the center of
quarterback exchange. He's got to learn the command. He's got
to learn, uh, just the rhythm of Jmo as well

(01:11:16):
as Jared Goff.

Speaker 4 (01:11:18):
And also he also has to know the right guard.

Speaker 5 (01:11:20):
There's a whole separate set of concepts and terms and
terminology and things that you're looking for when you're the
guard versus being the center. So this is gonna be
a lot on him, and I think his head is
going to be swimming, like, not only does he have
to learn how to play center, he's learning how to
play right guard at least in the NFL as well.
I think that is going to that's a lot. The
line is gonna be a lot.

Speaker 6 (01:11:40):
You think starts day one, week one?

Speaker 4 (01:11:42):
I think so.

Speaker 6 (01:11:43):
I think he has to now.

Speaker 4 (01:11:46):
Now he has to start with one.

Speaker 6 (01:11:47):
And we haven't even talked about we'll talk about how
many how many sacks? You think this kid's gonna get
six round pick guy that's kind of scheduled to get
some run, A guy that has said and done all
the right things so far, but maybe us as Lions fans,
are getting a little excited. I've been seeing some wild

(01:12:07):
numbers out there.

Speaker 5 (01:12:09):
If right now I see one behind Davin for that's
a great question. Let's start with lifting videos are ridiculous?
His lifting videos, Yeah, some of them are ridiculous.

Speaker 7 (01:12:19):
Wait, saying like that, the.

Speaker 10 (01:12:21):
Lions got a couple, like all training camp hype type guys.
You like everything they're saying. You like the stuff that
you're seeing early on, and now it's a point where
you're hearing a lot of people.

Speaker 9 (01:12:30):
Who are bullets on these guys. And that's why I
like your perspective on these things, bro, because you've seen this.
I'm sure you've heard a lot of names.

Speaker 10 (01:12:37):
I'm sure you've heard some flash in the pants, and
I'm sure you've seen the guys who oh no, that
woman is one right there.

Speaker 9 (01:12:42):
Even though it's at the start, I know he's gonna
be one.

Speaker 10 (01:12:44):
And you do, Hasson and this guy who is gonna
apparently have opportunity because of the injuries that have happened
to the Lions already, especially, I didn't know that Malcolm
Rogers Rodriguez was gonna be a guy who's gonna miss
and I get it?

Speaker 9 (01:12:57):
Six round draft pick? How much you're gonna depend on me?

Speaker 10 (01:12:59):
Stepped into his own this past season, and now Calvin Sheppard,
his linebackers coach, is defensive coordinator. So it's like, these
guys don't get the opportunity. But how much do we
temper or do we say, you know what, this is
a brad guy right here. We know he's gonna get
it done.

Speaker 5 (01:13:11):
The cool thing about Brad Holmes and telling how he
gets invest these players is look, he is going in
and having these conversations. He is looking at not just
the film. He's not just looking at the game tape.
He's looking at more. He's having conversations, how is the
mental what type of player? What type of adversity did
he deal with? Because sometimes you'll draft players just based
off stats. You'll draft players off the hype, and you'll
bring them in and you don't know how they can

(01:13:32):
deal with certain situations.

Speaker 4 (01:13:33):
You don't know if they're mentally strong.

Speaker 5 (01:13:35):
You don't know how they're gonna come in your to
your facility, and too your locker room, how is there
and how is their mental gonna be? And also too
can they get along with the program. Can they just say, look,
when you come to the lines, you work hard. We're
gonna work hard, we're gonna hit hard, We're gonna watch film.
It's about us. Not everybody can dive into the psyche.
So when you have guys like a Telligue Williams, like

(01:13:56):
a Tesla that you've vetted, you've had the conversation this
is my fate player at this position in his draft,
that goes a long way.

Speaker 4 (01:14:03):
Yeah, Like that's how you're able to have success. So
I'm hoping that it works.

Speaker 6 (01:14:07):
And what is it? We've had what two guys that
have not been welcomed here after they came in is
Isaiah Buggs one, but then and then there's maybe one
other guy. But yeah, draft just guys that they've brought
in that for some reason personally they didn't work for
this team. But otherwise these guys mostly have a full

(01:14:30):
proof culture protection program in place. Right now, you're not
getting to Allen Park unless you're fully vetted and they
know that you're part of this BNL culture.

Speaker 10 (01:14:39):
And you know what, I see what up with Detroy
Gunny shout out to you man supports He says, Hasani
the stard stream behind Davenport and aq him and they
got him ahead of Josh Pascal.

Speaker 9 (01:14:50):
So that's interesting. Good.

Speaker 4 (01:14:51):
I forgot he's still in the roster.

Speaker 6 (01:14:52):
How long?

Speaker 5 (01:14:53):
How long?

Speaker 6 (01:14:54):
Probably their biggest with.

Speaker 4 (01:14:56):
He want to?

Speaker 3 (01:14:58):
He want to?

Speaker 4 (01:15:00):
How long before we keep we stop using this culture thing?

Speaker 10 (01:15:05):
Right now?

Speaker 5 (01:15:06):
Everything is the culture and we bring him into the
culture and I just use culture, and then you just
use culture. And you know what, we get him into
the locker room and Dan kimb when they're GrITT and
they're relaying, what does it look like if we go
Kevin and five, eleven and six this.

Speaker 10 (01:15:20):
Year And I was gonna ask you, it was like,
how does it how from your perspective in those rooms?

Speaker 9 (01:15:25):
Like what is the culture?

Speaker 10 (01:15:26):
Because I know you see it from our perspective and
what we think and what we hear and such. But
I do wonder like, at a certain point in time,
is it just walk the walk? It's no more like
we talking it and we have to pom pom it
and parade it. Go out there and handle business. Because
when the Patriots got going, it just seemed like they
just this is what we do.

Speaker 6 (01:15:43):
The chiefs.

Speaker 9 (01:15:44):
They just go off there and handle business. Does the coach.
Are they still who they are? Do I still expect
Dan Campbell to be who he is and to give
his speeches yet.

Speaker 10 (01:15:51):
But I really am curious on that as it relates
to that culture stuff, because you know us as fans,
we're going to eat that type of stuff up.

Speaker 6 (01:15:58):
All right, I got two answers for you there. I'm
gonna go to the old relationship rule. If you were
with a girl for five years, then you break up,
it's gonna take you five months to get over it, right, Yeah,
that's what they say. Right, So we've got six decades
of doing nothing so early, I'm gonna say six years.

(01:16:22):
It's gonna take us to get over this. But the
better way, I think my second answer would be the
moment that Lions fans stop saying I will take one
Super Bowl and let this team be trashed for the
rest of my life because the culture of Lions fans
has to change and start matching the culture of the

(01:16:45):
Detroit Lions. To me, as fans, have to raise that bar.
And I've been saying that for two years. You guys
got all on me because oh, well, he's doing so well. Yeah,
show me something I haven't seen you guys can say
two playoff victories in one I've seen a playoff victory.
So whether I get two in a year or one
in a year or none in a year, I've seen it.

(01:17:05):
Get to the super Bowl. That's the next step. Then
win the super Bowl, and until fans here can accept
the fact that this is about a ten and twenty
year run as a great franchise, not just a one
year deal where we get a ring. That is when
we stop talking talking about culture.

Speaker 5 (01:17:24):
Bright fair enough, fair enough, you start talking about coach.
We want to get some consistent years with playoff wins. Yes,
that's that's when, like right now, it's cool, it's getting there,
and I believe where it's going. But if you can't
get playoff wins this year, playoff wins and next year,
the teams that you're talking about like looks like they
want on a run. That's when you win consistent playoff

(01:17:45):
games every year. That's when you're winning at least a
game something most of those teams two or get.

Speaker 4 (01:17:50):
Into the super Bowl.

Speaker 5 (01:17:51):
Once you can do that, when everywhere your team knows
or your fan base knows, all right, Lions are getting in,
They're at least winning the playoff game and if you winning,
if you have the best record in NFC, and that
means when playoff games gets you win to the NFC champions.

Speaker 10 (01:18:05):
You know what you're preaching, though, man, because I'm seeing
the national pundits as well as people, as we're getting
closer and closer to the NFL, they're getting beyond the clickbait.
So now they're say, okay, okay, okay, yeah, Lions are
probably gonna win the NFC North. But then they get
into you know, we see MGM, bet MGM. They got
them as what second favorite to win the NFC behind
the Eagles, but they still ask the question via Yahoo Sports,

(01:18:28):
are the Lions?

Speaker 9 (01:18:29):
Can you consider them elite?

Speaker 10 (01:18:30):
With no Super Bowl appearances and probably the two worst
losses of the last two years, of the last five.

Speaker 9 (01:18:36):
Years, is how they put it.

Speaker 10 (01:18:38):
Can you consider them elite if they're not a team
that can get to the big stage chat.

Speaker 6 (01:18:43):
We want to hear from you on that one. We'll
discuss it when we get back from this break.

That's crazy, fun facts.

Speaker 5 (01:23:01):
Why am I just random conversations?

Speaker 4 (01:23:06):
Just random conversation pick up where we were.

Speaker 10 (01:23:09):
Yeah, we got to ask the people because we got
national media who is Now they're stopping with the clickbait.
They're saying that the Lions are good, they believe they're
gonna win the NFC North. But they're asking the question,
can a team that's had probably the biggest losses in
the playoffs, the biggest letdowns they could they said, over
the last five years, can you consider them elite even

(01:23:31):
though they haven't.

Speaker 9 (01:23:32):
Made it to the Super Bowl yet?

Speaker 4 (01:23:35):
Are you asking me just in general?

Speaker 9 (01:23:37):
I want to know from the chat as well, But
you know, throwing it back to you guys.

Speaker 5 (01:23:40):
Definitely, you can't be you can you can't be considered elite.
If you can't get back to Bay, you can't be
city elite.

Speaker 4 (01:23:48):
I don't think so.

Speaker 6 (01:23:49):
I mean, they have a very specific situation that they
went through last year years and twenty two defenders. When
you look at the way that the defense was playing
in their first ten games of the season, when we
were mostly healthy, that wasn't pretty much an elite defense.
There's no arguing that we have an elite offense. We

(01:24:10):
have a top eight quarterback, we have the best wide
receiver room. Arguably, we have the I won't argue that
we have the best arguably top five. Okay, they're top
five for sure. It's worth arguing. The running back room
is the best, and we have one of the best
tight ends out there. The offensive line will see how
well they are. They perform without it with a couple
of changes. But when I look at at a healthy defense,

(01:24:33):
one that's been added to, I do think that the
Lions get back at least to the NFC championship if
they're healthy last year. So when I look at them
on paper versus your point looking at them in record.
I see both sides of that coin. But I'm a
roster guy. I like looking at that paper before week

(01:24:54):
one and what I see out of the coaching staff,
the culture, the players, and just that's the way they execute.
They're they're gritty as hell, man. So to me, I'd
say that there's five six elite teams in the NFL,
and yes, ar Detroit Lions are one of them.

Speaker 9 (01:25:10):
That actually surprised me. I didn't think Anthem.

Speaker 10 (01:25:12):
I didn't think you were gonna.

Speaker 6 (01:25:13):
Say that, and they still got to get to a
damn super Bowl for the first time. But yes, on paper,
this team's elite.

Speaker 10 (01:25:19):
I'm glad you said that, because when I do look
at the team on paper, you know you're looking you
say pro Bowler, pro Bowler, All Pro, all Pro, all
down the list. Were talking about these rookies, right, which
one has more pressure on them? I'm at least glad
to know that both of them playing on the line
that got like probably the best bookends in the game.
You know, I know eight hunchs is gonna to prove
that Penay Seuel. They're starting to have a little bit

(01:25:40):
of conversation, is he the best?

Speaker 6 (01:25:42):
You know?

Speaker 9 (01:25:42):
And the gain listen.

Speaker 10 (01:25:44):
I'm glad that those guys at least have that type
of pedigree on that line, because when you look all
the young guys, right, they got some dogs in the room.
We talked about Isaac Tesla, but he got I'm and
Ross Saint Brown in that room as well. So when
I look across the board, I'm looking at a team
that even the young guys we've had to penndor like
a Sam Laporter, I'm confident in these guys being able
to step up and still be who they were and

(01:26:06):
take that next step. I think that sometimes we underestimate
the in house growth. You know, we saw last year
well underpinned a lot of the success for the Detroit Lions,
even though they were banged up. The growth of Brian
branch In one Kirby Joseph and that did help to
underpin and help to stave off what probably would have

(01:26:26):
been not fifteen wins last year. With this season, with
this team, obviously they were a little bit too banged
up when you get to the playoffs. But I do
I do believe that this is a squad that if
you think, if you think that you're gonna go out
there and just run rough shot over the Lions.

Speaker 9 (01:26:40):
I don't think that's the case.

Speaker 10 (01:26:41):
I believe they're still as formidable as we've seen them
in the regular season the last two years, and that
last year's playoff run was more due to circumstance than.

Speaker 9 (01:26:48):
Who they are or not as an elite team.

Speaker 5 (01:26:51):
Straight up, give me three games this year that you
need the Lions to win. Three games that you need
the Detroit Lions to win in this season.

Speaker 6 (01:27:00):
Baltimore Ravens, got to get soul of that. Rams.

Speaker 5 (01:27:08):
I love that one, All Commanders, Oh, but those are
those are my three.

Speaker 7 (01:27:14):
You got to win those.

Speaker 4 (01:27:16):
Those are my three.

Speaker 6 (01:27:16):
And we get those three. We can lose in Green
Bay Week one. And as far as I.

Speaker 4 (01:27:22):
Ask you guys to just to just one of those,
they just it's a different field.

Speaker 5 (01:27:26):
The one thing that the Lions haven't done with the
exception with the exception of two years ago opening game
of the year where he beat the Kansas City Chiefs
in Arrowhead Green ceremony, No Chris Jones, no Travis Kelsey
out there.

Speaker 4 (01:27:42):
Just want two. I'm going to preface it with that.
That's what I need them to do.

Speaker 5 (01:27:47):
They don't have that road game of a juggernut. Yet
that's what I need. Baltimore is a juggernut. If you
don't believe me, look at their record against the NFC.
I still think they're undefeated. I still think Lamar Jackson
is undefeated in his NFL career against the Detroit Lion.
I mean, excuse me. Against the NFC. That is a
staple games crazy. I need that to be taken serious.

(01:28:10):
I need you to look like something I'm not talking about.
I needed to look close like. I need you to
go out there and take away from Lamar Jackson, Baltimore.
When you can win that game on the road, see
then people start less believing. Go out and beat l
a who people are putting in front of you this season.
Was talking about Staffords back and they got three defensive
players in the top forty to replace Aaron Donald. They

(01:28:32):
got this guy and they bought Go beat them in LA.
Go out to LA and beat them and then the
team to beat you in the playoffs last year. Show
us that you pissed, Yeah, show me that you pissed.

Speaker 7 (01:28:45):
Dallas.

Speaker 6 (01:28:46):
Those are very very.

Speaker 4 (01:28:50):
Important to me.

Speaker 5 (01:28:50):
The other ones, the cool is what it is those
of the feet that are very important to me and
especially the Washington Commander's.

Speaker 10 (01:28:57):
Game, and just to piggyback on that, like those are
the ones for you as it relates to the regular season,
because you got Craig in the chat that says, regular
season juggernuts.

Speaker 9 (01:29:06):
This is what you're saying.

Speaker 10 (01:29:07):
These are the ones that give you confidence in the Lions,
more concents that they're moving into the playoffs versus Okay,
they had a ten win season, they lost these games,
you probably feel a little less confident in them as
you're going in.

Speaker 5 (01:29:18):
One number and somebody Chad said regular season jugger. Yeah, Craig,
he said, right, it's a regular season beat those individuals.
You got to be able to beat those people in
the regular season because right now you're a regular season
jugging nut too. Yep, they got regular season jugging aut too,
be able to win those games. Like right now, it's
like when they played Buffalo last year. We hope they

(01:29:39):
beat Buffalo, but we hope they beat Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 6 (01:29:43):
We hope.

Speaker 5 (01:29:44):
I don't want the hope to be there. I don't
want the optimism. I want to know, oh yeah, you know,
they have their numbers.

Speaker 10 (01:29:49):
So that's especially when you're talking about who are the
elite teams. We shouldn't be like, man, well, we hope
we beat them. Like two years ago, I was hoping
we beat the Packers on Lambo. Now no, we'rut there
just like for you know she lahamb did. She walked
throut on that field like she owned it, and I
do believe we can learn a lot from her like
she seems unwaivered and believing in this thing. But the
Chat family has put some of their three in future

(01:30:12):
in doubt, says Ravens Chiefs Eagles Michael Werry says, Eagles,
Ravens and Bills. What a double Detroit Gunny says, Eagles,
Commanders and Rams get your three in the Chat Man.
That give you the.

Speaker 9 (01:30:23):
Ultimate confidence in the Detroit Lions as they hopefully.

Speaker 5 (01:30:26):
They don't have the I like the Eagles, but they
don't have to be the Eagles for me in the regency,
they're number one team in the conference by but they
don't have to be the Eagles.

Speaker 4 (01:30:35):
Do you remember what.

Speaker 5 (01:30:35):
Happened to Baltimore two years ago? Not to mention this
as one of those teams.

Speaker 4 (01:30:39):
That's where I'm at.

Speaker 6 (01:30:40):
With what's hit. A couple of super chats real quick
before the break. Going back to that last topic of
whether the Lions are a lite or not, Michael DeVries,
compared to the last sixty five years, I would say
they're elite and uh, Michael Werry, Yes, if they get
healthy and stay healthy, who is gonna beat them? Another? Interesting?
This is not a super chap, but I'm gonna read

(01:31:01):
it anyway. Cardier, we got Hall of famers. We elite.
Now my question for you is this, how many Hall
of Famers future Hall of Famers are on this team
right now? Because I can think of at least five.

Speaker 5 (01:31:15):
Also too with this we are elite, No, you are
not elite. Takes consistency eliten and states consistency the damn
the Lions are damn good.

Speaker 6 (01:31:24):
They've been pretty consistent for two seasons. I know that
they fell on their face without a defense in the
opening round last year, but this last two years.

Speaker 5 (01:31:32):
You don't just get to jump to elite because you
had two seasons and then the end of the last
season was a letdown.

Speaker 4 (01:31:38):
Regardless of injuries or not, it's a letdown.

Speaker 6 (01:31:40):
But aren't there elite teams every season? Regardless of who knows?

Speaker 5 (01:31:44):
There are people that try to make elite teams. There
aren't elite teams every year in the NFL. Right now,
Elite is elite. Elite's like four.

Speaker 4 (01:31:53):
You can't have more than four elite in.

Speaker 6 (01:31:55):
Well, then we're number five.

Speaker 5 (01:31:56):
You can't have more than four. You got super conference,
you know, start to see will be you.

Speaker 6 (01:32:00):
Know who's elite? Our chat today? The one hundred and
forty two likes, guys, listen, we are at three thirty
right now, so get us those extra eight to one
fifty and you got a half hour for those last
fifty likes. We are gonna hook you up. Get those
super chats in. You know what can I can I
say the F word?

Speaker 3 (01:32:19):
Why?

Speaker 6 (01:32:20):
I don't know. We'll hold back on that one. But
I'm doubling the super chat spots on that wheel. The
wheel's jamming right now, so I'm doubling super chats for
the last half hour. Smash the like button, get your
super chats in. Let's have some fun for this last
thirty minutes.

Speaker 7 (01:32:34):
I didn't know what f where you were talking about.

Speaker 6 (01:32:36):
So Fanny May and Freddie Matt.

Speaker 3 (01:32:40):
The lead is.

Speaker 4 (01:32:41):
It's an interesting conversation. It's fun.

Speaker 5 (01:32:43):
Like the chiefs were balling for a while. Before they
actually turned into an elite team. Realistically, the Chiefs were
going to the AFC Championship, they were going to the
semi finals. They still weren't elite. Then they got there
and they become a leade. So it takes a second
to become elite. It's a different type of consistency. Is
Buffalo elite?

Speaker 10 (01:33:00):
No?

Speaker 4 (01:33:01):
Is Buffalo elite?

Speaker 13 (01:33:03):
Right?

Speaker 6 (01:33:03):
Listen?

Speaker 4 (01:33:04):
Quarterback is elite? Daily You just.

Speaker 6 (01:33:11):
Chipped us all up with that one. You got us
all on that one. Yeah, well they're five or six,
all right, we will be happy there. So when we
got the Eagles, we got the Chiefs? Is there only two?

Speaker 10 (01:33:24):
Yeah? Your lead? Let's let's let's figure that out.

Speaker 9 (01:33:26):
Is the Eagles and Chiefs?

Speaker 6 (01:33:27):
Is that it ain't to forty nine ers even though
I really liked them this year.

Speaker 9 (01:33:30):
And who's this class right under them?

Speaker 7 (01:33:35):
Ra everybody that's close with So can the Rams.

Speaker 6 (01:33:40):
Be considered elite because they won a championship a few
years ago?

Speaker 5 (01:33:43):
Because the team looks different, like realistic, there's some infrastructure
there obviously, the coach Matt Stafford a couple of other players,
but it looks completely different, Like offensive line is completely different,
like the defense is completely different.

Speaker 6 (01:33:58):
They're messing a guy in the middle. There was pretty
pretty good.

Speaker 5 (01:34:01):
But you know how like Leslie aka f them picks
the GM out there of the Los Angeles rounds, he
went and got four after Aaron Thomas. He got four
draft picks on the defensive side inside the top fifty.
That's how you go back and when you replace the
Hall of Famer. They didn't do it with one player.
They went and got four defensive lineman. That our top

(01:34:23):
forty picks.

Speaker 10 (01:34:23):
So that's how you get People are asking, wait, so
the Ravens are not elite. Yeah, some people in here
Ravens and Bills are elite. They Cardiac believes the Ravens
and the Bills are league despite not having that that yeah,
and it's.

Speaker 5 (01:34:36):
Fairly That's why I asked a question like are the
Bills league? And it was a real question. Yeah, realistically,
Lamar like, and here comes the elite regular season, beating
the regular season and then comes the playoffs.

Speaker 10 (01:34:47):
So man, and I don't even it's gonna be interesting
year for Lamar Jackson. I think an interesting next couple
of years from him because it's a guy who we
hear the Lions. Now you hear the noise of are
the Lions ever going to get to a Super Bowl?
That think about that noise is now for Lamar Jackson
in terms of ken this guy win one. You're one
of the best in the game. You got the MVP
under your belt. You guys have had your opportunities. Are

(01:35:10):
you gonna actually get this thing done? It's crazy to
see in real time now, you know, especially as an older,
more seasoned sports watcher, these guys and their legacies, you know,
being you know, you're seeing it go up or down
in real time.

Speaker 9 (01:35:22):
Man, it's crazy.

Speaker 10 (01:35:23):
But he's one that if there's a guy in the
league that's not for my Detroit Sports teams that I
want to see get one.

Speaker 9 (01:35:30):
I want to see the I want to see the
guy get one man, Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 5 (01:35:33):
Hell yeah I do, Hell yeah, yeah, I just I
just want to see a game where it doesn't look
like half the game he's pressing and the other half
the game the coach established. But that's what it looks
like with the Raiders every year in the playoffs. Just
like oh, Lamar Jackson has a bad quarter, he's pressing
hard up. Here's the offensive coordinator Greg Roman doesn't know
what to call up. Here's the coordinator from Georgia who

(01:35:53):
went there last year, like, what are you doing? You're
not running, Lamar like it just looks confusing in the
playoffs put the Ravens on offensive.

Speaker 6 (01:36:00):
I never understand what the hell they're doing once the
playoffs come around, because they are so, like you said,
regular season juggernaut.

Speaker 8 (01:36:06):
And.

Speaker 5 (01:36:08):
Every year there's a legit excuse, much like for the
Detroit Lions last year, who didn't they have they didn't
have z eight flowers? Eight flowers? Is it's Blamar Jackson's guy.

Speaker 4 (01:36:18):
So we'll see.

Speaker 9 (01:36:18):
Well, let's uh, I'm gonna mail back.

Speaker 10 (01:36:21):
Yeah, listen, I want to make sure we get to
Swiss or break and then a little bit of miil bag.
So let's hear from some of our sponsors.

Speaker 9 (01:36:29):

Speaker 6 (01:37:53):
There's a lot of a lot of dispute here in
the in the chat man, there's I think it's.

Speaker 5 (01:38:01):
Let's see them right, it's going back doing something. Actually,
I just really do not want to put Buffalo as
an elite man.

Speaker 4 (01:38:11):
Every year the playoff.

Speaker 5 (01:38:12):
But you know what, it's fair, Josh Allen balls, Buffalo
is the league, Baltimore is the league. Casey and Philip,
I think those are your forty league teams, and you
want to put the Lions five.

Speaker 6 (01:38:23):
I'm fine with that, all right, good because I was
gonna argue I put.

Speaker 4 (01:38:26):
The Lions five.

Speaker 6 (01:38:28):
Who is your sixth to be.

Speaker 4 (01:38:30):
Six in the elite category?

Speaker 6 (01:38:32):
Can it be the forty nine ers with just one
bad year down? How good they've been this century or
this this decade.

Speaker 4 (01:38:38):
That's a that's a very fair question.

Speaker 6 (01:38:39):
They're healthy. I'm worried about them. Like the way that
we were overlooking the Eagles last year, same things happening
with forty nine ers this year. Don't sleep on a
rematch of the twenty twenty three NFC finals once again
this year.

Speaker 5 (01:38:54):
You put the forty nine ers there and the Rams
there and let them fight that position out. You know,
some people don't believe in the Packers. I think the
Packers are good to be another team to put into
the spot, but I think it's for put the lines
in five. And the only reason why Buffalo's had sustainable
success in the playoffs, anti championship and the quarterback play
for the last seven years realistic. Baltimore the same thing,

(01:39:15):
Kansas City the same thing, and Philly is the current
Super Bowl champs. So I think when you look at
it through that lens, that is your elite and everybody
else is fighting and getting.

Speaker 10 (01:39:23):
You know what, We're gonna have to do this, man,
We're gonna have to keep the elite power rankings all
season and teams right underneath bright you're gonna have We
gonna have to do this, man, We're gonna get the graphic.

Speaker 5 (01:39:31):
You do have to reinvent the will look Stephen A Smith,
and when he does that, it works. So I ain't
at it's a great segment.

Speaker 9 (01:39:37):
He works.

Speaker 5 (01:39:38):
He has a lot of but the segment is true
because throughout the course of the season it rotates like
teams are playing better and it's it's fun to give
you like a live update week by week, versus here's
the preseason all right, here's what the playoff rankings look like.

Speaker 3 (01:39:52):
Yeah, I do that.

Speaker 10 (01:39:53):
Well, look, I got some questions for you guys. Shout
out to my brother KG as well contributed to team
We gotta swish your brick for you guys. We're gonna
think of some cool graphics, some way. We can display
it on here too.

Speaker 9 (01:40:05):
But you guys know this.

Speaker 10 (01:40:06):
You guys already know the rules. Okay, I'm gonna read
the statement, whether I agree with it or not. I
have to give supporting information and evidence, and then our
hosts are gonna say swish or Brick. So if you
agree with the statement, Swish. If you disagree Brick, you
can even get fancy like that's an airball layup or
that's a waggie. So I got some stuff here. It's
gonna cover at least three of our sports teams.

Speaker 9 (01:40:27):
What was the Red Wings?

Speaker 10 (01:40:28):
They somehow they're left out the first one though, the
red right. All right, look the first one and I'm
gonna put on the victory shades as the quiz master.
All right, Look, we talked about this person today, swiss
Or Brick. Isaac Tesla will have at least four hundred

(01:40:49):
yards on offense his rookie season, Swish or Brick, and
we start with Anton, We're gonna go to Ricky and
then Bray.

Speaker 6 (01:40:58):
We'll finish off that four hundred includedy turnyards.

Speaker 17 (01:41:03):
No no, not not return yards, just receive it, just receiving,
because this isn't guy rushing as well, because listen, he
still got you look at you know, Pat, Tim Patrick,
You look at James and Williams where he took off.

Speaker 9 (01:41:14):
These guys got the three hundred and fifty four.

Speaker 10 (01:41:16):
Hundred yards Ken Isaac Tesla in that wide receiver four maybe.

Speaker 6 (01:41:22):
Three row get to that four yard assuming the wide
receiver room stays healthy. I'll take the over on three
hundred and fifty. I will take the under on four hundred.
I just don't see the reps. I think that he's
utilized quite a bit in special teams, and I think
that we see that big year where we can talk
five hundred maybe six hundred plus in twenty twenty.

Speaker 9 (01:41:44):
What type of brick is that thing? So?

Speaker 3 (01:41:45):
Is that like a rim out?

Speaker 9 (01:41:47):
Is it off the backboard?

Speaker 6 (01:41:48):
And that was halfway down and out there? Oh? That
closed halfway down and not a brick though.

Speaker 10 (01:41:53):
You get an idea. Now there we go.

Speaker 9 (01:41:55):
Hey, Ricky, what about you?

Speaker 7 (01:41:56):
I'm going with a break? Is it'll be a clink.

Speaker 3 (01:42:00):
One one sound?

Speaker 7 (01:42:02):
Is gonna go all the way back to the three
point line?

Speaker 3 (01:42:04):
What not?

Speaker 10 (01:42:05):
His rookie season?

Speaker 8 (01:42:07):
Second year, yes, but his rookie season, he's gonna I
think he may be using trick plays and you said
a lot of special teams, but I don't.

Speaker 7 (01:42:14):
See him getting four hundred yards rookie season. What up though?

Speaker 10 (01:42:18):
Braylan Edwards for the final word on this before I
read out what the chat Well, actually you know what
the chat man.

Speaker 9 (01:42:23):
Let me tell you know what the chat is talking about. Okay, Michael,
he said, switch or break?

Speaker 10 (01:42:36):
It's back, Yes, it's back man, email.

Speaker 6 (01:42:41):
Right now.

Speaker 10 (01:42:41):
Email doc Brick Lions Restore says switch.

Speaker 9 (01:42:46):
This is all over the place. Steve says, Brick.

Speaker 6 (01:42:50):
Run the place.

Speaker 10 (01:42:51):
I'm going to break.

Speaker 9 (01:42:52):
You guys heard his answer a couple of times the
cameras are you.

Speaker 4 (01:42:59):
Yeah, right now at the end of the day.

Speaker 5 (01:43:01):
Look, I understand that he's trying to find his place
on his team and hopefully it will work. But you
got Tim Patrick Man who already got his love from
Jeredgarf last year.

Speaker 4 (01:43:08):
They built that relationship.

Speaker 5 (01:43:09):
You got Im Sat Brown, and you got another wide
receiver by the name of James and Williams that is
trying to have more yards than you're all pro wide receiver. Oh,
by the way, there's this tight end that damn near
was all Pro as a rookie that they are trying
to get back acclimated to the system this year.

Speaker 4 (01:43:23):
That is Sam Reporter.

Speaker 5 (01:43:24):
I love the potential of what Tesla can be, but
four hundred plus, that's that's a lot. Yeah, So I'm
gonna have to just respectfully just with the surrounding parameters.

Speaker 4 (01:43:34):
I say, that's a brick.

Speaker 5 (01:43:36):
You got, he's a brick, but that that's a brick
due to the mitigating factors.

Speaker 10 (01:43:40):
Man, look the doll spoone said, Nah, Man, he's gonna
get four hundred and fifty yards.

Speaker 9 (01:43:44):
You got some people who are buying the test law
as you should.

Speaker 4 (01:43:49):
So he's getting four hundred.

Speaker 5 (01:43:51):
So Amaran is getting fourteen hundred, Jamo's getting thirteen hundred.

Speaker 4 (01:43:55):
Sam Report is getting nine hundred.

Speaker 5 (01:43:58):
Mr Gibbs is gonna be the next run had to
go thousands and thousand, says Marshall Full.

Speaker 6 (01:44:02):
Here's another Fjared Golf throwing five hundred yards this year.

Speaker 5 (01:44:07):
Gentlemen, somebody did it in sixteen games.

Speaker 4 (01:44:10):
Can you do it in seventeen? You have a lot
of yards. So that's kind of the thought process. A
lot of people need to If.

Speaker 6 (01:44:17):
He gets over four hundred, it's because he's outperforming Jim Patrick. Men,
he is on the field war period injuries which could happen.

Speaker 5 (01:44:25):
Well that that's of course, and that's why I don't
want to have four hundred, like just because that's the
first once I thought he has four hundred.

Speaker 6 (01:44:32):
Somebody's out there unless he's the number three wide receiver
by week eight. Yes, I don't want to see him
have to get that kind of.

Speaker 9 (01:44:40):
I like that.

Speaker 10 (01:44:40):
I love the commentary and this one via kg KG
shout out to Calvin Sheppard himself. Mister KG. He said
the Lions defense will rank as a top ten defense
this season under Calvin Shepherd.

Speaker 9 (01:44:54):
I kick it off to you first, Anson Willis.

Speaker 6 (01:44:57):
Swill or as joh of Isaiah Thomas Camp used to say, stroction.

Speaker 4 (01:45:04):
Did you say stroketion?

Speaker 6 (01:45:06):
I love that man, stroketion? You remember that? Uh?

Speaker 10 (01:45:10):
Before I throw it over the Ricky would just we'll
let it sanitize a little bit and.

Speaker 7 (01:45:15):
Swiss all the tools swish he has all the tools.

Speaker 10 (01:45:20):
They already familiar with him. Yes he was Yess.

Speaker 7 (01:45:22):
He only worked with the linebackers. But still there's a
rapport with the defense altogether.

Speaker 8 (01:45:27):
I would hope and I assume that that is a
swish or nothing, but that you barely hear you barely hear.

Speaker 7 (01:45:32):
It when the ball goes through it.

Speaker 10 (01:45:33):
Hey, and you know some people are getting that, y'all
for this For the last question, the rona says, yes,
Bray Jered gonna throwing for ten thousand yards. I'm seeing
a bunch of Swisses in the chat right now. People
think this is the top ten defense on the come.

Speaker 5 (01:45:50):
Right here in the top ten and swish all right.
I put to you this way. If this is the
top ten defense and you're going to Super Bowl, you're
probably gonna win.

Speaker 4 (01:45:57):
This is being fair.

Speaker 3 (01:45:58):
This is what you said.

Speaker 5 (01:45:59):
You think you're gonna be a top ten defense if
they are. Offense is already what it is. Offense has
proven to be consistent. The consistency from the offense has
been since the last half of the twenty twenty two seasons.
So you mean to tell me you give this offense
a top ten defense. This is a super Bowl. That's
the equation. Like, that's not me, that's the equation. So

(01:46:19):
do I think they'll be a top ten defense?

Speaker 13 (01:46:21):
No?

Speaker 5 (01:46:22):
Do I think they'll be top half? Yes, you're top
ten defense. You're going to the super Bowl. There is
no Well, if we get pass here, well, if we
what your top ten defense already with this offense was
number one last year, number two the year before, you're
going to the damn so.

Speaker 6 (01:46:38):
Not really a brick more of a George Blaha rubber rim.

Speaker 4 (01:46:41):
Job boy more, you know what? More like I got filed.

Speaker 3 (01:46:46):
I don't like that.

Speaker 6 (01:46:48):
Stripe.

Speaker 4 (01:46:51):
That's fair.

Speaker 9 (01:46:51):
You guys are helping swisser bridge blot.

Speaker 5 (01:46:55):
So no, not a miss, not a break. But you
know I got filed. Now can I hit these free throws?

Speaker 13 (01:47:00):
You know what?

Speaker 10 (01:47:01):
Michael ware he says, once we are all healthy, he
does believe it's gonna be a Swiss to top ten defense.
And you know what, man, we were talking about all
these people who's supposed to get all these yards?

Speaker 9 (01:47:11):
Right, Tesla's gonna get his too? Is he gonna be
able to get that?

Speaker 10 (01:47:14):
If Swiss or break, Jamiir Gibbs will go for two
thousand all purpose yards in John Morton's offense. He just
missed it last year, two thousand all purpose for Jamiir Gibbs.
This year, Anson wills Swiss her break.

Speaker 6 (01:47:28):
That is a that's a tough one. I'm gonna say
no because of Monty. I love the Jamo or Johnny
Mo talk because I do think that it will be
a slightly more conservative offense that will lean on the
running game more. But Monty is a huge part of
this team. All these fantasy drafts that I see, uh,

(01:47:49):
Jamiir and I'm blanking as the kid from from Atlanta
number one and two on every single year, there's each
of these teams have a great supplementary back that's going
to be out there a hell of a lot of time.
Now you want to talk about two thousand again, Yeah,
you want to talk about you know, Saquan hitting two
thousand again. Sure, I think that McCaffrey could even if

(01:48:13):
he's fully healthy, and it looks like it could get
two thousand all purpose yards. Jamiir by himself all day long,
call it twenty one, call it twenty two, But not
with Monty out there. That's a rubber rim drop for me,
A mild break.

Speaker 7 (01:48:28):
Saying I agree, he said. I couldn't say. I can't
even say any better to answer, just said I disagree.

Speaker 6 (01:48:33):
Yeah, I appreciate that.

Speaker 7 (01:48:36):
Yeah you said it.

Speaker 9 (01:48:37):
Hey, I thought it over too bright. Let's say you
bro I don't think so.

Speaker 4 (01:48:41):
But it's not because he can't achieve it.

Speaker 5 (01:48:43):
I think if you look at last year, he got
closed why David Montgomery missed three games, and in those
three games at the end they unleashed games. Yeah, but
he was averaging about a buck eighty in those games.
I don't think they want to use him like that.
There he threw out the regular season. The game the
end go is, the dance is the super Bowl. So
just based off that, I don't think he'll have two thousand,

(01:49:05):
but he'll he'll be fun, he'll make it interesting.

Speaker 4 (01:49:08):
I think he gets around.

Speaker 5 (01:49:11):
Seventeen fifty to about eighteen fifty somewhere in there.

Speaker 4 (01:49:16):
I think that's where he finishes up.

Speaker 5 (01:49:18):
Could he Yes, if you put him on a team, No,
Dave Montgomery, light Anson said, But I think the Lions
are gonna be smart about his usage.

Speaker 4 (01:49:26):
They don't want to overuse him. And this seventeen games.

Speaker 5 (01:49:29):
It's a long season, long season, and then what happens
with the potential if they don't get the number one
seed like they did last year, that's another playoff game.

Speaker 4 (01:49:37):
So long season. I wouldn't want them to do that.

Speaker 10 (01:49:39):
Cool at hey, long season. You know, I'm sitting here
seeing I think some chatter about the Detroit Tigers having
traded for starting Pittrick Chris Paddock.

Speaker 9 (01:49:49):
So I was I was just about to ask you
guys this question.

Speaker 10 (01:49:53):
You know, it maybe would make this the last one
two we had three fifty one. I was gonna say
the Tigers, absolutely, he must get kg put two players.
I was gonna say three players, that they must get
three players at the trade deadline Swiss or break.

Speaker 9 (01:50:08):
And it looks like they just did a trade for one.

Speaker 6 (01:50:11):
So that happened. That comes from division rival, the Twins. Now,
Chris Paddock is a was a premiere pitcher in the
MLB five years ago, maybe six. Now, if there's anybody
that can pull that back out of it's Chris Fetter.
So I love this. I said earlier in the broadcast.
I believe they need another starting pitcher. Now you check

(01:50:33):
one thing off the list that you need, get one
or two more relief arms, and you get yourself that
big bat. Of course three but ones down. So that
is no brick for me. I love that move.

Speaker 5 (01:50:44):
Yeah, remember that game, Carmelo, when you're playing for the Knicks.
He went down to Miami beat Lebron has fifty eight
and didn't hit the rim in one shot. Everything he
shot that night was a Swiss and that's what this
three players. Just the reliever is the starter and it
is the bat. Like you said, three players switch for me? Hey,

(01:51:06):
and you know what, I'm throwing it over to you, Ricky.
What say three players? Some people think it's two. I'm
saying they gotta be three.

Speaker 8 (01:51:14):
If you would have asked me before the All Star break,
I would have said this was a break. Now after
what I've seen the last couple of weeks, Yeah, let's
take all three players like that.

Speaker 7 (01:51:23):
Because we got one.

Speaker 9 (01:51:24):
Let's come on, do we know what we gave up?

Speaker 6 (01:51:26):
Kool aid?

Speaker 10 (01:51:27):
I don't know we gave up just yet. I'm over
here looking at the stuff right now. I'm going to
get the graphic ins.

Speaker 9 (01:51:31):
So all these people.

Speaker 6 (01:51:32):
Say future considerations because we know that ain't much.

Speaker 9 (01:51:37):
Let me see here. Because they said that they were
discussing it.

Speaker 10 (01:51:40):
They were talking about it prior and now it's something
that has gone down. So soon as I see something,
If we see something before the end of the show,
I'll definitely tell the people, uh what the deal was?

Speaker 3 (01:51:50):
Then?

Speaker 10 (01:51:50):
Paddock he had a four nine to five ERA across
one hundred and eleven in He's pitched this season for
the Twins.

Speaker 9 (01:51:57):
I know he hasn't done the best recently, but who knows.

Speaker 10 (01:52:01):
You got Chris Fatter here, and you have opportunity to
get some new blood on this Tigers team and at
least some moves that starting to be made.

Speaker 6 (01:52:08):
I mean, we're we're depending on Dietrich ends right now.
My man was in Korea last year.

Speaker 4 (01:52:13):
Like as soon as I heard you gotta instantly go.

Speaker 6 (01:52:15):
To we should recreate that my man Aquir with a
full leg. It was always detroiters, such a great show man.
But no, I'm talking about a Woodward promo. You a
white horse and a full let's go cam man, come

(01:52:40):
down telegraph first.

Speaker 4 (01:52:44):
I couldn't do it one second.

Speaker 5 (01:52:45):
It was like three things I said I would never do,
Like Detroit stables, I don't want to meet, I.

Speaker 4 (01:52:48):
Didn't want buffs, and I didn't want I still want
to full in.

Speaker 7 (01:52:54):
That's the one I still want.

Speaker 5 (01:52:55):
There's only one that I'm coming around. I'm gonna get
some buffs. You are I'm get, but but hear me out, I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:53:02):
Not gonna I'm not.

Speaker 5 (01:53:03):
I'm not gonna wear them here like buff buffs have
lost what they used to stand for like, when I
saw Gretchen wearing I mean the governor. That's aw big
Gretchen wearing buffs. No, thank you, I won't wear them here.
But buffs is still dope. Glasses the time just represent
c They just dangerous. They start snatching cardios twelve thirteen

(01:53:25):
years old.

Speaker 4 (01:53:26):
That's it. Why would I want those?

Speaker 10 (01:53:27):
Yes, that was my thing.

Speaker 7 (01:53:28):
Once I sorted seeing the person, I said, never that.

Speaker 5 (01:53:31):
Excuse me while I'm running in Georgiana's.

Speaker 6 (01:53:34):
Excuse me, I'm white. But I've heard this too many times?
Can you clarify what buffs.

Speaker 4 (01:53:39):
Are Cardier glass? I really did not know, Buffalo.

Speaker 6 (01:53:44):
Do they have a camera in them?

Speaker 7 (01:53:47):
They probably can if you want them to. If you
want them to, they probably can.

Speaker 6 (01:53:50):
Those are the Michigan versions.

Speaker 9 (01:53:52):
You see mine right here. I've been spying on you all.

Speaker 10 (01:53:55):
I know.

Speaker 4 (01:53:55):
I know what you guys got going this seven man?
What's work? Don get tonight? You should work work?

Speaker 7 (01:54:02):
And I found the quarterback?

Speaker 4 (01:54:04):
Yeah, okay, what do you think about quarterbacks?

Speaker 10 (01:54:06):
So far?

Speaker 9 (01:54:06):
Oh man?

Speaker 7 (01:54:07):
Joe Burrow is the most boring person on.

Speaker 9 (01:54:09):
The face of the planet.

Speaker 7 (01:54:11):
Gesus, I did not see that coming.

Speaker 10 (01:54:15):
I was just watching.

Speaker 9 (01:54:15):
At what point he's just talking.

Speaker 7 (01:54:16):
I said, Man, I don't you want to see this
at all. That's why I did not know no personality.

Speaker 5 (01:54:24):
It's crazy, because that's why I was saying, like you
thought that Jared Golf was going to be that. I
think a lot of people thought Jared is gonna be
like that.

Speaker 4 (01:54:31):
Yeah, it's not the case.

Speaker 3 (01:54:33):
On that ship.

Speaker 7 (01:54:33):
I didn't think anybody can out lame Kirk Cousins, but man,
he did it.

Speaker 5 (01:54:37):
The Walmart trips, the Coles wherever.

Speaker 3 (01:54:39):
He like, I got there.

Speaker 7 (01:54:40):
I'm off the literally episode he was.

Speaker 4 (01:54:42):
Kirk Cousins was in the first one too.

Speaker 7 (01:54:44):
Oh yeah, that's true, first born.

Speaker 4 (01:54:46):
What you got on that glasses?

Speaker 10 (01:54:48):

Speaker 4 (01:55:25):

Speaker 7 (01:55:27):

Speaker 6 (01:55:27):
Well, they have I mean they've got basically every single company,
from the guys that create the high end card cases
to the grading companies. eBay will be there doing their
eBay Live show. You've got artists that come in. And
there's one guy that takes like epic moments in sports,
whether it's the eighty six Jordan rookie card or whether

(01:55:48):
it's a huge home run first year flear and he
redoes those kind of an impressionistic feel. There's just so
much going on. Oh and all kinds of free stuff

Speaker 8 (01:57:19):

Speaker 5 (01:57:20):
Appreciate you say that real talk before we get out
of here. Detroit Tigers and Schedules played the ninety six ten.
This weather, however, looks terrible. Where did this come from?

Speaker 4 (01:57:27):
I don't know That's why I had to run outside
up where.

Speaker 5 (01:57:32):
Tigers Diamondbacks they played a night, answer and give me
a score.

Speaker 6 (01:57:36):
I think that the offense got it together a little bit.
I'm seeing six four Detroit Tigers hold servant home.

Speaker 5 (01:57:42):
If they play all right, would say you five to
two Tigers. Five to two Tigers would say you.

Speaker 9 (01:57:49):
There, let's go another beat down ten to one.

Speaker 5 (01:57:52):
Bet let's I'm along, I'm along the lines of kool aid.
Give me nine to three, give me nine three Tigers.
