Speaker 1 (00:23):
All right, all right, all right, hello high and how
do y'all? This is your man's A JK. Moore welcoming
you back to breaking tradition. So tonight we will be
continuing on taking this ride and breaking this tradition. About
the idea of church hopping, like I said last week,
(00:44):
is something that's been a topic of debate for who
for many a year. So, without going into too much
detail about last week, we looked at the origin of
the word church, which originally did not mean did not
mean a building where believers in God gathered together. But
(01:06):
the root word of the word church, which we translate
to ecclesia, simply meant an assembly of believers somewhere, okay.
And we also discussed that all right, when it comes
to people of God, we can assemble anywhere. It doesn't
necessarily have to be one of these buildings at a
(01:28):
particular ministry. And we also looked at we typed then
the Google to check, Okay, is there any mention whatsoever
about church hopping in the Bible, And if there was,
is it mentioned in a good light or is it
mentioned in a bad light? Well, not mentioned in any light,
because the term not even in there because we already
(01:52):
established whenever the Bible uses the term church, it's just
talking about that just local, different groups or assemblies of people.
So I asked the question, all right, yeah, you might be,
you might move from one group of people to another,
from one community to another. But the idea of church hopping,
(02:14):
because again, we're still all worshiping, well supposed to be
all worse being the same one Jesus, the same one
God the Father, and operating through the same one Holy Spirit.
So it's not like we're hopping out of one Jesus
belief into another Jesus belief, or one God the Father
(02:36):
belief into another God the Father belief. No, when people
use that term church hopping and they're talking about leaving
one of those buildings or a particular set up ministry
and going to another one, well, you know what, that's
absolutely fine. So we're gonna tonight, we're gonna continue on
(02:56):
and look at scriptures that back up the eye idea
that as believers as the kingdom, ambassadors, administrators, operators of God,
and part of the Kingdom of Heaven, we're never told
to be stationary in the one place for our entire life,
(03:19):
our entire believer in life. No, not at all. So
ifout be laboring the town, let's go ahead and like
I said, continue this ride on down here about breaking
this tradition about people shouldn't church hop all right, yeah, whatever, whatever, Okay,
(03:40):
So we will be coming from the Book of Acts,
chapter four, and we're going to start with verse number twelve.
This is a big chapter and one of the other
things I wanted to touch on in this episode. Once
I went back and realized exactly how many again how
(04:04):
many scriptures, how big this chapter is, I'm like, yeah,
probably not gonna get to it tonight, but oh well, Lord,
willing as always what, We'll be back here to do
it again. All right. So Acts, oh excuse me, I
mean spoke Acts chapter five, Acts Chapter five, starting with
(04:24):
verse number twelve. So I will put a quick poemse
on it for those who may be following along in
their own Bibles or apps on whatever it is that
you use to get your word. But we will be
(04:46):
going to X chapter five, starting with verse number twelve.
We're gonna take it back to the to the ogs,
all right, the original group of apostles, the one who
continue to not going to stay laid down the foundation
for our kingdom operation. And believe well Peter already did that.
(05:08):
I'm in exchange with Jesus when he asks you know, hey,
who do you tell people I am? Peter said, well, no,
telling you the Messiah and the Savior. And Jesus said, hey,
you know flesh and blood, and I reveal this to you. Peter.
By the way, for those of y'all don't know, yes,
Peter the Apostle was my great great great great great grandfather. No.
(05:31):
I have not one shred of actual physical evidence to
back this up. I just feeling in my spirit everything
I've read about Peter and what he said and how
you operated, I've got to be a descendant of from y'all,
I just got to okay, because I know me, I
know me, so yeah, so great great granddaddy Peter laid
(05:56):
dropped that on Jesus, and Jesus told him, okay, in
other words, all right, don't old human taught you this
or revealed this to you. Had that been from the
Holy Spirit? And so after or right before Jesus ascended
back into the Third Heaven to sit at the place
of honor I E or not I E B right
(06:17):
hand of God. He gave them some instructions. And instructions
is like I said, one of our foundation scriptures Matthew,
chapter twenty eight, start reverse number twenty. I believe it is.
I need to keep that on a regular slide. But anyway,
(06:41):
he told them to go into all the world and
teach everything that they learned. They saw, they experience answers
to their questions, what they demonstrated by way the Holy Spirit. Yeah,
Jesus told them to go I mean teach. But it's
like the entirety of the Christian religion. Jesus never told
(07:06):
them to build up buildings for people to go to.
He never told them that. Yeah. And once they build
these buildings in their local community, well whichever one they
happen to go at, that's the one they have to
stay at, you know, until they pass away. No, he
(07:29):
never ever instructed them to instruct the people to do that.
But again, like with Christianity and this origination, well you
got people just decide to take certain tasks upon themselves
and go out here and do stuff, and well there
you go. That's how we got these these church buildings.
(07:51):
I mean, of course, history wise, there was a little
more that went into it. Okay, but still that the
idea that you just have to join up with that
one particular group at that one particular place and you're
not supposed to leave is completely unfounded and it's unbiblical
(08:15):
because it ain't in there. Now if you happen to
find it, because of course I'll be the first that mint.
I ain't the sportsman in the world. Okay, don't remember
each and every word in the Bible, but I know
what I know, and I know that ain't in there.
But again, if you happen to find it, a well,
lay it on your man, Hey dot mo dot p
(08:36):
R O D eight zero s at gmail dot com.
Lay it on man, or put it in the comments
wherever you want to put it. All right, So anyway,
Acts Chapter five, starting with verse number twelve, and we
see the heading of this section says the apostles heal.
Many the apostles were performing many miraculus signs and wonders
(09:01):
among the people, and all the believers were meeting regularly
at the temple, and the area knows no excuse me,
known as Solomon's colonnade. So some people just from that
first sentence, or excuse me, from that second sentence would
jump on that ass proof positive that we're supposed to
(09:24):
meet that building. Yes see, it said although all the
believers were meeting regularly at the Temple, Well, guess what,
all the believers were meeting regularly at the Temple before
Jesus even came. Okay, the Temple was still their holy
(09:44):
places set up of worship at that time in that area,
and it just made sense if teaching is coming through
about God, that is where you would meet at. That
is where they met at. But let's go a little further.
But no one else dared to join them, even though
all the people had high regard for them. Yet more
(10:07):
and more people believed and were brought to the Lord,
crowds of both men and women. As a result of
the apostles work. Sick people were brought out into the
streets on beds and met so that Peter's shadow might
fall across some of them as he went by. Crowds
(10:28):
came from villages around Jerusalem bringing their sick and those
possessed by evil spirits, and they were all healed. Okay,
So the point I wanted to get to is, Yeah,
it might have started off with the few believers that
there were that were brave enough to actually meet and
profess their belief that this man, Jesus, who had walked
(10:52):
among them, who had lived among them, was the Messiah,
was the Savior. But it got to the point to
where people saw how these blessings were going out literally
the exact same way, people were being blessed miraculously, while
Jesus was here doing it. And the apostles, because we
(11:12):
got scripture where they came back and reported that they
were doing the same thing in the name of Jesus.
But now, okay, Jesus ain't around on earth to do
it anymore. So it is all them, all them and
the Holy Spirit. It got so big to the point
it said that the people were coming out into these streets, okay,
(11:36):
bringing their sick out on streets, on the streets, on
beds and mats. So again, it might have started off
with people the few there were meeting in the temple,
which again was just natural to them. But eventually, okay,
that this work, this miraculous work, this saving work, got
(11:59):
so big that people were just starting to line into
the streets, crowds filling them up. Said so that Peter's
shadow might fall across some of them as they went by. Okay,
so this shows us that right here they took the
(12:19):
work of the kingdom outside of the temple and began
hitting the streets with it. Because you had some people
by this point, Okay, the temple was probably overflowing, couldn't
get to everybody. But they never put the declaration or
the proclamation out there. Oh well, if you want to
(12:41):
be healed and know by God, you have to make
your way into this temple. No, those who needed the
healing were out on the streets. That's where the apostles did.
They went out and met them where they were, which
(13:02):
again is the example for exactly how we're supposed to
we should have been operating. The work is out on
the streets even okay, speaking of Jesus, even when he
was here and among them, Jesus never stayed stationary, at
least not for too long. He never posted up in
(13:24):
one place. It was the same thing we are. We're
going to towns, crossing lakes and seas and going here
and there, different villages, homes and doing the work of
the Father. He never posted up at one temple and said,
(13:44):
okay again, all those who need healing, all those who
need saving, Well, you have to come to this particular
temple to make it happen. No, no, because think about it.
Some people can't make it to one particular place. They
(14:06):
can't make it to that one particular building. So what
are you gonna tell them? Oh, well, if you can't
make your here, then you just, you know, crap out
of luck. Well, man, you tell them that, But I
guarantee you, once God's done spanking your butt, You're gonna
wish you hadn't. Y'all gonna be like, Okay, what's wrong
(14:30):
with your legs, what's wrong with your feet? What's wrong
with your car? Oh? Okay, nothing, got it? Better get
your behind over there and get the healing, get the praying,
get the preaching, get the prophecying, get the doing, get
the working miracles, get the raising the dead. In other words,
(14:50):
get to the work of the Father like you all
were instructed to. Some people can't make it and just
flat out other people ain't coming because either they've been
burned by some church or ministry before, or they know
people who are parts of churches and ministries and see,
(15:12):
you know how these people are acting, move and operate
outside of there and not knowing any better. Between the
kingdom and religion, they just write off all people who
claim to be believers in God is a bunch of
liars and hypocrites and this, that and this. I'm not
going to that place full of them hypocrites and stuff.
(15:35):
And I know people think like that, because before I
came to God, that's how I thought, like, Man, please,
I'm not going up in there all them hypocrists whatever
whatever we're doing that. No, So, no, the work is outside,
the work is away from the building, Okay, because again
(16:00):
it's just not feasible that people can or will come
to them, all right, and clearly, in the eyes of God,
they weren't doing anything wrong because through the power of
the Holy Spirit, God was still demonstrating himself even as
they went out into the streets to cast these evil
(16:23):
spirits out these people and to heal them or whatever
illness they got. So clearly God is not a respector
of a building or a particular ministry or ministries, because
if that be the case, then how would these guys
have been able to operate like this outside of the temple? Okay?
(16:46):
Going down here verse number seventeen, and the title for
this section is the apostles meet opposition. Now, yeah, here
we're going. Now we're about to start getting into the
thruts of it. So the high Priest and his officials,
who were sad disies, were filled with jealousy. They arrested
(17:07):
the apostles and put them in public jail. But an
angel of the Lord came at night, opened the gates
of the jail and brought them out. Then he told
them go to the temple and give the people this
message of life. So at daybreak, the apostles entered the
(17:28):
temple as they were told and immediately began teaching. So
we see from the start of this right here, just
like I was saying last week, when it comes to
doing the work of God, we have to go wherever
God instructs us to go. Got dogg whether that be church,
(17:50):
building people's houses, a job site, a dog on park, okay,
picking together whatever where we're only supposed to move and
operate under the instruction of God. And this is how
these guys ended back at the temple, because they were
giving instructions from the angels to go to the temple
(18:14):
and the priest this message. And once the angel opened
up the doors to the jail cell. That's exactly what
them fellows did. No questions asked, okay, because by this point, okay,
you're not worried about a bunch of scared guys, you know,
hiding out in hotel rooms and you know wherever else
they hit all that while they were still scared to
(18:37):
go by doing the work that Jesus had told them
to and God had told them to. No, by this point,
all right, these fellas are showing themselves. They're showing their faith,
they're showing God. So they've gone out there and they
making it happen. When the High Priests and his officials arrived,
they convened the High Council, the full assembly of the
(19:00):
elders of Israel. Then they sent for the apostles to
be brought from the jail for a trial. But when
the temple guards went to the jail, the men were gone.
So they returned to the Council and reported the jail
was securely locked, with the guards standing outside. But when
(19:22):
we opened the gate, no one was there. So the
second part of verse twenty one says, when the High
Priest and his officials arrived, they convened the High Council.
Now the first part of talked about how the apostles
were at the temple at daybreak. I'm thinking this high
(19:43):
priests and the officials is making it seem like they
also arrived at the temple. And I'm bringing this up because, Yeah,
you guys didn't notice that the same dude you had
locked up and you sent for were allready up in
the temple teaching. I mean, really fellas Okay, the words
(20:06):
number twenty four. When the captain of the temple guards
and the leading priests heard this, they were perplexed, wondering
where it would all end. Then someone arrived with startling news.
The men you put in jail are standing in the
temple teaching the people. The captain went with his temple
(20:28):
guards and arrested the apostles, but without violence, for they
were afraid the people would stone them. Now it's talking
about it, not talking about the apostles right now, it's
talking about that the guards. Okay, the dudes armed with
(20:48):
swords and I'm assuming some form of armor. We're afraid
that they were going to get stoned by the people. Yeah, okay,
because by this point, the people, the ones who were
showing up again, these people were they weren't scared. It
wasn't no punks. They were right there because these people
(21:09):
spiritually were getting fed and blessed, physically, mentally, and in
every way. People were getting blessed. He'll delivered safe. So
of course you know what I'm saying, These guys who okay,
Peter specifically operating under such mighty power up the Holy
Spirit that okay, he even have to scriptn't even say
(21:32):
he even had to pray or touch people physically. Say
if the man's shadow was cast on him, they were
getting blessed. All right, Now that's power. That is power.
Man Again, I can freely admit. Okay, I guess that
didn't travel down the blood line to me because as
far as I know, my shadow ain't. That's not evil
spirits or healing people. I don't know. Maybe I got
(21:54):
to get a little bit older before it that that
gene kicks in from the Peter side of the family here, okay, man. Anyway,
then they brought the apostles before the High Council, where
the high priests confronted them. We gave you strict orders
never again to teach in this man's name, he said, Instead,
(22:16):
you have filled all Jerusalem with your teaching about him.
You want to make us responsible for his death. Uh yeah,
High Priests, where there might be a reason for that,
because you all are or were responsible for his death.
(22:38):
I mean yeah, y'all didn't have the guts to, you know,
stab them or behead them or stone them yourselves. You
put the Roman Roman law enforcement, Roman legal team, whichever
term you want to use for them. In other words,
you put the Romans up to doing the physical dirty
work of beating them and then crucifying them and stabbing
(23:01):
them and all that stuff. But you're you're not absolved. Okay,
he wouldn't have been in that position if you all
hadn't falsely accused and arrested him in the first place.
So yes, mister high priests, you you are responsible for
his death. But you notice how these religious leaders okay,
(23:26):
said that we gave you strict orders kind of like
how these some of these religious leaders these days do
the same thing, Like, Okay, it doesn't matter what God
might be telling you to do, what God might be
instructing you do, what God might be what and where
God might be leading you. These religious leaders think that
(23:50):
they have the only authority from God and the authority
to tell tell people where they can and can't go
and what they can and can't do in the name
of God. Like I say all the time, y'all. Okay, God,
don't people. People ain't changed. People ain't changed. Okay since
(24:13):
our great granddaddy Adam and our great Grandmama Eve. Okay
that people have never changed. Different ways we might go
about carrying our stuff, but the core of our personalities
and our frightfuliness, it ain't changed. And to be honest,
it ain't gonna change until, as Jesus said, he comes
(24:36):
back and sets these things in order. So yeah, just
like back then, what he's saying got the same thing today.
You got these people in these positions who think that
they dictate how people of God are supposed to move
and operate. When, where? How? Why? Okay? All of them?
(24:58):
So first number twenty nine. But Peter and the apostles replied,
we must obey God rather than any human authority. The
God of our ancestors raised Jesus from the dead. After
you kill them by hanging them on a cross. Then
(25:19):
God put him in the place of honor at his
right hand as prince and savior. He did this so
the people of Israel would repent of their sins and
be forgiven. We are witnesses of these things, and so
is the Holy Spirit, who is given by God to
those who obey him. So Verse number twenty nine. That
(25:45):
is the core of people. Or dare I say, much
like Jesus said to Peter, the foundation of this idea
of church hopping the exact same way Peter and these
apostles re applied as the exact same way that we
(26:05):
people of God, operating by Kingdom of God principles, can
and should reply to anybody who thinks themselves our authority. Okay,
we we have to obey God rather than any human authority.
(26:29):
In other words, that yeah, I hear you talking, but
you ain't saying nothing nothing to me anyway, Because if
what I've been doing so far has been lining up,
has been bringing God glory, and we see the works
(26:49):
of God operating through me clearly, clearly, I must be
doing something right. Because remember, part of these this high
priest and all these high priests counsel on, all these clowns.
Part of the problem they had with Jesus was the
fact that, just like with these apostles, they were jealous
(27:16):
at how God was using them. Because these high religious
priests who were more concerned with the outward showing the
letter of the law. I've got that saying goes, and
not anyway more concerned with the wording, let's say, of
(27:38):
the law rather than the meaning and the impact of
the law. They weren't, okay, causing the blind to see again.
They weren't healing the people who couldn't use their legs
or all the limbs, blessing and healing them to the
to where they can do these things. Now okay that
(27:58):
none of them were raising people from the dead. None
of them had died and come back from the dead,
and clearly none of them had an angel open up
a jail cell for him in the middle of the night.
So yeah, that was a lot of the problem these
guys had with Jesus because they were either firsthand witnesses
(28:19):
or they heard testimonies from people, and sometimes both of
exactly what Jesus and the apostles were doing. The same
situation here, because when people see you doing these things
or hear about you doing these things, they are more
apt to come and be drawn to you because they
(28:43):
are seeing the physical manifestation of God's power rather than
these clowns over here who talk a good game but
aren't showing not one ounce of evidence of God really
using and working through them. As I said, y'all, jealousy,
(29:06):
And as I said, ain't nothing changed that? Right? There
is another part of the reason why certain people in
certain these ministries don't like certain people who've been a
part of that particular ministry or church to leave, or
(29:26):
why they keep their foot on their neck while they
are part of that ministry or church, jealousy, because they
see how God operates in these people. They see the
manifestation of the fruits of the Holy Spirit coming out
through these people, and it ain't coming out through them,
and they're jealous. They're jealous. Nothing has changed, y'all. And
(29:53):
because nothing is changed. Again, this should be our response,
whether you left a particular church, whether you're thinking about
leaving one, or whether you've left and you still got
people coming at you about why that was wrong and
(30:14):
why you shouldn't do that. Yeah, okay, Well, you're within
every right in the eyes of God to respond to
these people the exact same way Peter responding to these people,
to these these Jewish high counsel and the high priests
(30:35):
tell them, no, I got to obey y'all, raving any
human authority. I've got to listen to God rather than
listening to you, because I don't worship you, and because
we are human. No matter how blessed you are, we're
still operating within this flesh where spiritual beings operating in
(30:57):
these physical, fleshy bodies, and these physical flesh about they nasty,
all right, No matter if you shower twice a day,
still just full of sin. The sin is ingrained in
our dna. You can't wash stand out. So saying that
to say, yeah, you know, might be a woman or
(31:19):
a man of God. But the fact that you're telling
me I'm wrong, or telling me I need to stay,
or telling me that I can leave, at that moment,
you could be operating out of your flesh. So that's
why another reason why it's always good to lean and
to adhere to the voice of God through the Holy Spirit.
(31:40):
Because God, God ain't fleshing. God doesn't operate out of flesh.
And we're talking about the holiest being that there is,
So of course he's always going to lead us right
and lead us with the best intentions, unlike some humans
(32:00):
who not always gonna lead with the best intentions over there.
So yeah, and I like also in verse thirty how
Peter reiterated to him after the High priest all or something, Oh, yeah,
(32:23):
you want to make us responsible for your death? Man,
granddaddy came right back. Yeah, gotta my ancestors raised Jesus
from there after you killed him by hanging him on
a cross. So in other words, you got dog, all right,
we're making you responsible for his death because he is
responsible for his death. All right, man, that's how that
(32:44):
going to go, all right? First number thirty three. When
they heard this, the High Council was furious and decided
to kill them. See, boy, we're always always default to
their base instincts. Now, these are supposed to be the
the high Counsel, the the example, uh to all the people. Okay,
(33:08):
the teachers and practitioners and keepers of God's law. They
they should be setting the example right because again they're
the high Counsel in their minds, in their eyes. But boy,
you just are not going to get around that dog
(33:30):
one human nature and that jealousy and that angry and
and that you know, Peter dropping that that piece of
truth bomb on them. And now look look where they are.
Now they're furious and and they want to kill them.
After what a minute or two ago, sitting there complaining
(33:53):
that the apostles were trying to make them responsible for
for Jesus' death, in the face of the people complaining
about it, like no, oh, no, that wasn't us, We
had nothing to do with that. And look a couple
of sentences out of Peter's mouth, and here they go,
showing them true colors, ready to kill them Firse number
(34:16):
thirty four. But one member, a pharisee named Gamaliel. Gamaliel,
who was an expert in religious law and respected by
all the people, stood up in order that the men
be sent outside the council's chamber for a while. Then
he said, the colleagues, men of Israel, take care of
(34:40):
what you are planning to do to these men. Some
time ago, there was that fellow Theodis, the Theodis Thotis.
There was that fellow Titus, who pretended to be someone great.
About four hundred others joined him, but he was killed,
and all his followers went their various ways. The whole
(35:03):
movement came to nothing after him. At the time of
the census. There was Judas of Galilee. He got people
to follow him, but he was killed too, and all
his followers were scattered by the way. This is a
different Judas than the one that rolled with and betrayed Jesus.
(35:26):
So my advice is, leave these men alone, let them go.
If they are planning and doing these things merely on
their own, it will soon be overthrown. But if it
is from God, you will not be able to overthrow them.
You may even find yourselves fighting against God. My man
(35:52):
gamaleon Gamileeon, my man g ain't mad at him. So
out of this simbly of men, one of them had enough.
You know, I don't know if my man was operating
in the Holy Spirit at that time, even though I
wouldn't like to think he was. But you know, a
(36:14):
voice of reason amongst these men who were mad and
were ready to kill him, but he told them, look,
if there's really nothing to this Jesus teaching, then yeah,
all these people that are you know, they came to
the temple, meeting them out on the streets, whatever, whatever.
If there's nothing to all this, it's gonna fizzle out
(36:35):
after a while. It because there's no substance to it,
it's gonna fade away. But if there is something to this, guys, okay,
and the reports that we're hearing about what these cats
can do and what they are doing is true. And
(36:55):
if you know more and more followers being made day
by day by day, then yet that God might have
his hand on this. And you you'all talking about killing
these dudes, okay, but they really may be blessed by
our God. So no, no, don't kill them. Just let
(37:19):
them go and as the thing goes, just let the
cards fall where they may either or if there's nothing
to it, they're gonna feel the out. And these guys
are you won't be heard of a year or whatever
down the road from now. But there is something to it,
then that means there's something to it because God is
truly using them mightily, and we don't want that kind
(37:41):
of smoke. So yeah, we're just gonna just gonna leave
them be right, And again, this is what's happening for
these people who either a call themselves trying to hinder
or stop people from leaving their church and or ministry
(38:08):
because you may be fighting against the will of God
and you don't want that. Yeah, don't want that. So
if this person says, hey, the Holy Spirit God has
been talking to me, been talking through other people. He
(38:31):
told me that it's time for me to leave from
here and he's moving me on to the next place. Hey,
if you said God it is telling you this, then
all right, that that's between you and God. Because if
you're lying on God, that that's all you. So if
you're saying this time for you to go, all right, hey,
(38:53):
time for you to go, and that's the way it
should be, just leave it that. But of course, again,
y'all be talking about humans and no, no, no, no, no,
it ain't always that simple or that easy. If people
were truly operating biblically, like a lot of them clean
(39:15):
they are, then that that's what it should be. They
these these church leaders, just like this leader, this man
who was part of this high council, they should have
the exact same answer and response that Gamala y'all had, like, okay,
(39:35):
if you say so God bless you going your we'll
see if if God's really telling you to go over there,
and y'all work for you to do there and think, yeah,
that should be the response that comes out of these
people's mouth. But as we've already established it, it ain't
always like that, all right, all right, verse number forty.
(40:00):
The others accepted his advice. They called in the apostles
and had them flogged. Then they ordered them never again
to speak in the name of Jesus. And they let
them go. So uh, oh, my goodness, boy, these dog
(40:21):
gone petty, mean, nasty behind jokers. No, no wonder Jesus
called them jokers of dog on nest the vipers. Okay.
They couldn't just let these guys go and again just
say okay, well we'll, you know, go ahead on going
on by your business, do what you're being doing. No,
(40:43):
they had to have them flogged and in other words, okay,
that's just say beaten. They had to have them beaten, whipped,
whipped up on. They had to give them button whippings,
and then give them one last final warning to never
again speak in the name of Jesus. How do you
(41:06):
do y'all realize the depth of jealousy, hate, okay, stupidity
that these people have that been seeked in to again
either have seen the works of Jesus or heard about them,
(41:29):
seen and heard about the works of these apostles. Taking
place at the very temple where these guys operate, and
still after all of that, have them first of all jailed,
(41:51):
then have them beaten, and then to still tell them
to stop teaching in the name of Jesus, after after
all this, this magnificence and all this manifestation of God's
power over the past who knows how many years at
this point, and these jokes still do not believe. But
(42:19):
it's some more. I'm man, y'all who just speaceless right now.
It just amazes me the thought pattern of some human beings.
(42:41):
No matter how much you got happening right there in
your face that you see going on, you still don't
want to choose to act oblivious to the point. Just
refuse to believe it, refuse to believe it. And again,
(43:01):
if you guys were as deep in God as you
proclaimed to be, then you should have been doing the
exact same things that these guys were doing and that
Jesus was doing. Because Jesus did not operate out of
anything that the Old Testament prophets, and even some priests
(43:25):
did not teach and tell people that they could do
as well if they truly give themselves to God. I
mean nothing. That the only thing that he did different
was the only thing that only he could do, which
was die for our sins, shed his blood and then
(43:47):
come back. All right, that that that that that right there,
that that's exclusive Jesus only. And clearly other humans have
been capable of all this because again how much old
Testament stuff we got examples and then all right, his
(44:10):
original twelve and then the others that was even added
on to the twelve during the life of Jesus. So
clearly God intention for humans to be able to operate
and do these exact same things. But nope, don't want
(44:36):
to believe it. Then of course y'all know, got a
buttload of people don't want to believe it now, and
it's just okay, well if we're not doing it, and
if we can't do it, then you can't do it either.
And according to who okay, definitely in according to God,
(45:02):
definitely in according to Jesus. So again, got these people
out here talking loud, ain't saying nothing, So these petty
behind jokers beat them in, warn them not they'll teach anymore.
And then here we go worst number forty one and
forty two. The apostles left the High Council, rejoicing that
(45:28):
God had counted them worthy to suffer disgrace for the
name of Jesus. And every day in the temple and
from house to house they continue to teach and preach
this message. Jesus is the Messiah. Okay, I love it.
(45:53):
I love it. The same temple where they were told
not to go and not to go and teach in
the name of Jesus, same temple they brought in flogged
warm threatened. You might as well say, I ain't gonna
(46:14):
even call that a warner, threatened not to teach in
the name of Jesus. And these dudes left happy, victorious
because exactly what Jesus said, What's gonna happen happen, He
(46:34):
told them. When you don't know what to say, when
you're in a jam, in a situation, the Holy Ghost,
the Holy Spirit, he is your advocate, is your comforter.
He's gonna be right there. Okay, that's the spirit of
my our Father operating around and within you. All. He's
(46:54):
got you. God's got you, if you truly got got
So these guys were we joy see and again, like
I said, now these are boy, this is some different
Apostles and then the beginning of the Book of Acts
and the Book of John Apostles. Like I said, the
(47:15):
ones that were scared and hiding, and that this is
a whole different group. No shame, no shame whatsoever in
the game, and I ain't mad at them. Again another
example for exactly how we are supposed to operate, no
shame whatsoever. Hey, if we get lined up on and
(47:41):
we getting cursed out, no God willing, ain't none was
gonna get flawed. But hey, I mean those are the days.
Honestly we're coming back around to so flawed whatever, and
we stand firm on our conviction. Yeah, no, I don't
care what you say or how you threaten me. I'm
(48:03):
still gonna teach and preach the name Jesus and that
he is the Savior, our Lord and Savior, the King
of kings, the only way. And it said every day
in the temple, right back to that temple where you
(48:23):
know they just got threatened to be yep, and come
tomorrow we're going to be right back here to do
it all again. And another important part about this scripture
and from house to house, Oh oh wait a minute,
you mean to tell them that that they didn't just
post up in the temple and still expect people just
(48:46):
to come there, or that they didn't pick one house
and everybody's supposed to come there. No, no, they did not,
because as they had our you said, we have to
obey God's authority, and god authority and his instruction is
to go to the temple at some point in your
(49:09):
day again naturally where people are coming for to hear
messages about God, to be trained about God and now
God and Jesus his son, and then from house to house.
And no, it is not talking about church houses. We're
(49:34):
still we're still in Jerusalem. People. They you had went
back there and said the word church at that point,
people are looking at it like, what the heck are
you talking about? So no, it is not talking about
church houses or ministry houses, talking about houses, houses, okay,
(49:54):
dwellings where people and their families live. So again, hmm,
I guess we're not supposed to just post up in
one particular place and go only to that in one place.
(50:14):
Because the apostles showed us, They showed us the way
Jesus started it, they continued it, and we're supposed to
continue it on from them. And I mean, thank goodness,
it hasn't been a complete and total wash or bust,
but it is it. It's definitely skewed a bit. And
(50:39):
that gets us to where we are today. The idea
that you're only supposed to stay at at one place,
you know, oh, outside of extenuating circumstances, if you leave
or or excuse me, if you have to move away
to go someplace else. Okay, well, yeah, that's different. So
(51:01):
even within that, I have found this out, probably within
the past year or two, that even within that, say
you do move and of course naturally okay, you're not
driving hours or whatever days just to tend oh, one
(51:21):
to two hour church service. I found out that there's
actually a letter that some people request when you do
leave from one ministry and go to another. Excuse me. Yeah,
(51:44):
So that is gonna wait till next week. As we
continue this on God, there is definitely gonna be a
part three to this. M m hmm. We must obey
(52:04):
God rather than any human authority. And every day in
the temple and from house to house and from house
to house they continue to teach and preach this message.
Jesus is the Messiah, and that's not the only scripture
like that, y'all that talks about them going going specifically
(52:28):
to people's houses. And I'm not the last one with
just Peter. It's a couple of them. So again we
can continue on here, all right. The assemblies of believers,
groups of believers, they're all over the place, and we
(52:49):
should only be going to them, doing whatever it is
that we're supposed to be doing with them at the
end instruction of God the Father. So when God tells
us to move, that's when we're supposed to move. When
he tells us to stay, then that's when we're supposed
(53:11):
to stay. Is just as simple as that. The apostles
figured it out. Eventually, here we are somewhat two thousand
years later, and in a lot of ways we've circled
(53:35):
done a complete three sixty to get almost right back
to the point that people were before Jesus came, before
he died, before that veil separating the Holy of Holies
and everybody else was ripped. The system has been set
in place, the almost table believers right back to before
(53:57):
that point. Still thinking that all instruction is supposed to
come from the priests, the pastors, the leadership, and that
we can't receive instruction one on one from God ourselves.
(54:18):
The importance of us being told to study, the importance
of us being told knowledge. Okay, it's the beginning of wisdom, knowledge, knowledge, knowledge, wisdom, wisdom, wisdom, study.
It's all through the Bible, Old Testament to New Testament.
(54:42):
And that's why because when we learn something, when you
learn something and keep that knowledge stored, okay, outside of
extenuating circumstances, nobody can take that from you. Nobody can
also bamboo you and tell you that you don't know
what you don't know. Yeah, you do, because you've taken
(55:06):
upon yourself to do the reading, the studying and whatever
else it takes to comprehend and retain that knowledge. Same
thing when it comes to operating in the Kingdom of God.
And that's what he wants, all right. So, like I said,
we will stop right there for it tonight. Pick this
back up next week. God will it so again the
(55:32):
petitions out there and we heard it, or sorry for
yourself tonight. Jesus is the Messiah, the singular one. And
if you believe that, if you truly believe that, because
you have to truly believe it, and you know you
(55:56):
need to be saved by that Messiah. And you're wondering
speaking of churches and church hoping, Oh, I have to
go to a church to get that done. No, you don't,
because church or the better word ecclesia groups or as
symbolies of believers that that's human is living. You don't
(56:21):
have to go to one of these buildings. If you
want to get saved, you can do it in your car.
You can do it on your job, you can do
it on the shower, you can do it whenever. Whenever
you feel in your heart that you have the faith
that Jesus is the way, the only way, and you
believe it, that's when you make the appeal to him.
(56:44):
That's when you make the declaration. Doesn't matter where you
are now. You said it last week. You got some
people who unforced me medically can't speak or verbalize the words.
Jesus also tells us that him and the Father examined
the heart. Think it, yeah, think it. They can hear
your thoughts, They know your thoughts, they know your dog
(57:06):
on thoughts. Even for you do they take that belief
that faith, write it down on something if you have to,
whatever it takes, whenever and wherever, you are. Do it,
simple confession. Look, Jesus man, I know, I know I'm
(57:32):
heading for eternal damnation, but I don't want that, and
I know you're the only way that I can avoid it.
I know I'm a sinner. I know I'm messed up,
but I also know that you'll forgive me of those
sins and you'll wash me clean with your blood, supernaturally spiritual.
So I'm praying that right now. I believe you are
(57:55):
the Savior. Please wash me clean with your blood right now.
Save me, Save me, save me, save me. I believe it.
You are the Messiah, You are the Savior. You are
the Lord in my mind, no doubt, no questions asked.
And then, ady, once you say that, think that, write
(58:18):
that sign language that again. However you got to do it?
Can you just tell his father? Okay, I've gone to
your son. I've confessed. I believe he is the Savior.
Now I believe you're supposed to send your your holy spirit,
your holy ghost to live inside me and begin, you know,
(58:38):
operating your will inside my body. So all right, come on,
come on, God, bring it on. And sure enough, not
too long after that, the Holy Spirit will come live
inside you. And rightly activate the spiritual gifts, in other words,
are ultimate purpose on this planet. And you don't send
(59:00):
you on your waves, you can act out on them,
use them however God wants you to use them wherever
God wants you to use them, wherever God wants you
to use them. Not man, you obey God. Okay, not
any human authority. Now. When I say that, I mean
(59:20):
within the context of belief in God and the kingdom
of having God. I'm not talking about like regular laws
of the laying y'all. Let me go ahead and clear
that up. No yet, no, you you, yeah, you obey
those laws. Okay. When it comes to the Bible. The
only time we're told the only laws that, as far
(59:42):
as God's concerned, we don't have to obey is when
they conflict with the laws that he said for. If
they're not conflicting with those, you know, we have to
obey them. No, we're talking about human authority as far
as people religious people or people operating that are people
(01:00:02):
of God who think that they have the right to
tell you and dictate to you how you're supposed to
operate as a person of God. That's the human authority
we're talking about. Here and you tell them, yeah, no,
not at all. I don't have to listen to you
or follow you. Mm hmm. You you can tell them
(01:00:28):
to keep all that, but you do want to pray.
Why you're praying to God and say, please put kingdom
minded people in my path, lead me to them, leave
them to me, to help me along this journey, and
eventually so you can help them along on their journey.
And then just tie it all up with And Jesus
(01:00:51):
is in your name, I pray this and I believe it.
Amen and amen means so let it be. Hey. And
if you do that, man jump for joy, find somebody,
give him a high five, eat a candy bar, and
do something. Celebrate. And that's exactly what God, Jesus and
(01:01:12):
the heavenly angels are doing. If you do that, they
are celebrating. They're celebrating another one that's going to have
eternal life as opposed to joining Satan, all the unclean spirits,
all the falling angels, and all those people who are
not saved in eternal damnation, eternal torment, eternal lake of fire,
(01:01:37):
eternal separation from God. Yeah, that's why God and Jesus
the number are celebrating because they're like, look, that's another
one who ain't gonna be cast out to that mess.
Now on the flip side of Satan's gonna be mad
at don don't know what, and he is gonna come
with the full court press because his thinking is if
(01:01:59):
I can't, ain't nobody gonna have you. So if anybody
ever tells you that, yeah, you know, you accept Jesus,
you accept God, start living a godly life, a godly
kingdom life. I did not say Christian, christianities of religion. Okay, No,
you start living a godly life, a kingdom of heaven
(01:02:25):
led life is not easy, not easy whatsoever. Anybody ever
tells you that it is. Okay, I don't I don't
know what what their doctor prescribed for them, but no,
that that ain't the true, That ain't reality. Okay, not
(01:02:45):
easy at all. But the point is once we become believers,
we cannot think temporarily anymore. You you're thinking, your motivations,
the way you move and operate needs to be on
the eternal level. That this flesh life, okay, all this
(01:03:09):
and all that, okay, yeah, that's temple and ain't none
of us living forever and once this pastor dies and
passes away, Okay, then you got that spirit inside of you,
got that soul in you that is eternal, that's not dying.
(01:03:30):
It's either going to have eternal life with God Jesus,
or it's going to be eternal death. And by death
it means separation from simply separation from life God, eternal death,
separation from lake of fire, evil uncleaned, unsaved. So yes
(01:03:56):
have to have to have to think eternally, not temporally. Okay.
This temporal life is just to act down, do whatever
it is God created us to do to not only
get ourselves saved, but you know Him willing as many
other people that might be saved by Him as possible,
(01:04:17):
not by us, but by Him. Okay, all right, so
right quickly, what is that? No, I'm not going to
that layout. If you're listening to this and you want
