Speaker 1 (00:01):
Tonight, we are going to look at scripture how God
established the seventh day of the week as the rest
slash Sabbage day. We're also going to look at when,
where and why that day was changed to the first
day of the week outside of God's command. So y'all
come on, hop in, strap in, and let's take this
(00:23):
ride and start breaking this tradition that Sunday Sabbath observance
was instituted by God's command. Let's do it. Hello High
and howdy digit your man. JK. Moore, welcome back to
breaking tradition. So you have people on generally two sides
(00:47):
of this issue. You have those on one side that
said the Sabbath was never supposed to be changed from
Saturday to Sunday and that Saturday slash seventh day of
the week needs to continue being observed at the Sabbath day.
You have people on the other side of the coin
that says, hey, look, as long as we're worshiping God,
(01:09):
as long as we're resting, as long as we're giving
him a day, it doesn't matter if the day was
changed to Sunday. So, as with all these things, we
are going to hop into scripture and some history to
ultimately see what God has to say about it. All right,
so let's go and jump right on into it. We
will start actually looking at scripture Genesis chapter two versus
(01:33):
one through three, Genesis chapter two Versus one through three,
And we're not gonna wait too long because that's like
literally the beginning of the Bible. So oh okay, and
it reads, so the creation of the heavens and the
(01:57):
earth and everything in them was completed on the seventh day.
God had finished his work of creation, so he rested
from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day
and declared it holy because it was the day when
(02:18):
he rested from all his work of creation. So right away,
let's go ahead and get something clear from the tippy top.
When it says rested right here, it's not talking about
he needed to be rejuvenated, like, oh, sorry about that.
Like how when we do doing something physical or string
(02:39):
which we have to take a rest, give our body,
our minds, whatever, a time to recharge so we can
get back into it. Rested right here, okay, just simply
means that's when he ceased, that it was done. There
was no more creation to be done as far as
the universe and everything that he wants it. So when
(03:02):
it says he rested on that day, it just been
you know, you're like, all right, nope, job done, work
is completed. And he declared it holy. So yeah, there
was as far as we're concerned, there was nothing else,
nothing new to do. So it's a holy day to
stop and for us to actually, yes, rest or in
(03:25):
other words, don't do anything strenuous, tiring worship and observe
God for all that he created and all that He's
done for us. So we get it right here in
the first book of the Bible, the seventh Day. Now,
for us, that seventh day is what we call Saturdays.
(03:48):
All right. So now let's go to the book of Exodus,
chapter twenty and look at verses eight through eleven Exodus
Chapter twenty Versus eight three eleven, and we will put
just a quick pollse just a little one for anybody's
(04:12):
following along in their own word. Oh okay, and it reads,
remember to observe the Sabbath Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
(04:35):
You have six days each week for your ordinary work.
And I mean, you know, let's just face y'all. When
it comes to creating the universe, a universe and everything
that's in it. Okay, Yeah, to God, that would just
be ordinary work, all right, literally just another day, right
(04:55):
verse number ten. But the seventh day is a sabbath
day of rest dedicated to the Lord your God or
to the Lord our God. On that day, no one
in your household may do any work. This includes you,
(05:16):
your sons and daughters, your male and female servants, your livestock,
and any foreigners living among you. Okay, that just means
everybody and everything is to cease doing any type of
work on that Sabbath day. For in six days, the
(05:36):
Lord made the heavens, the earth, the sea, and everything
in them. But on the seventh day he rested or stock.
That is why the Lord blessed the seventh day Sabbath
day and set it apart as holy. Okay, so we
(05:57):
are getting reinforcement here in the book of This is
during the time after the period of captivity by the Egyptians.
All right, God finally made way and gave instruction it
was time to let his people go to go to
the promised land he had established for them, but to
(06:17):
also let them know, Yeah, when you all get back
to the rightful lands, that I have for you, it's
time to time to get it started, and well for
some get it started. To other ones, it's time to
keep it because even during captivity, a lot of the
(06:39):
the captives will still observe the Sabbage Day. So he's
just letting them know, Yeah, when you all get to
the land and the place I have set apart for you,
just like how that day is set apart for observed,
for rest and observance, and thanks for everything that I've
done for you you all, and this land set apart
(07:01):
for me, and by me, I mean God. So he
was just letting them know, all right, just make sure
y'all do what you're supposed to do. And same same
thing with foreigners. Any foreigners that come, more than likely okay,
they didn't observe the Sabbath day. They are there observed
(07:22):
whatever for lack of a better word, religious or cultural
practice that they had for that day, or they simply
didn't observe anything at all. But he's letting them know, Okay, well, yeah,
when they're in their own home territory and do whatever
they want. But when they come up in you where
(07:43):
I got y'all at and the lands for you all,
they need to observe this Sabbath day, all right. So
we have Genesis, the establishment of it and why, and
exodus or reinforcement to let them know we remember to
continue observing this seven day of the week by keeping
(08:06):
it holy. All right. So next, let's look at the
Book of Malachi, chapter three, verses six and seven. Malachi
Chapter three, versus six and seven. Real quick, paulls, real
(08:30):
quick pause. M hmmm mm hmmmm mm hmmmm mm hmm. Okay.
(08:51):
So Malachi chapter three, verses six and seven, and it
reads I am the Lord and I do not change.
That is why you descendants of Jacob, are not already destroyed.
Ever since the days of your ancestors, you have scorned
my decrease and failed to obey them. Now return to me,
(09:16):
and I will return to you, says the Lord of
Heaven's armies. Okay. Now go to Hebrews chapter thirteen, verse
number eight, and we're going to see how standpoint of
God from Old Testament or right here, Malachi is going
(09:40):
to line up with a commandment New Testament in the
Book of Hebrews. So Hebrews chapter thirteen, verse number eight. Okay,
(10:07):
So Hebrews chapter thirteen, verse number eight says Jesus Christ
is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So looking at
what Malachi chapter three, verses six and seven say, and
(10:28):
looking at this one, why these brought together? Well, because
God said he does not change. Jesus is part of
the Godhead. He is God the Sun. So when God
said that he doesn't change, and it says Jesus Christ again,
(10:48):
it's just perfectly lining up, and Jesus Christ is the
same yesterday, today, and forever. That's put in there for
people who say that the Sabbath day it doesn't matter
if it got changed, or it doesn't matter if it
gets changed or observed on Sundays, which according to us
(11:12):
or I'm sorry, excuse me, according to the old Jewish
calendar is the first day of the week. Well, these
scriptures right here actually proved that, yes, it does matter.
In the eyes of God, it does matter, because he's
saying right here, he does not change, and he doesn't
(11:36):
change his mind. So when he said to remember that
Sabbath day and to keep it holy, that's exactly what
he means. He remembers. To excuse me, he's saying, to
remember what that day stands for. And what actual day
of the week it was established. Orm Gospel scriptures show
(12:02):
that Jesus also observed the Sabbath day. Other books and
scripture in the New Testament showed that the Apostles observed
the Sabbath day, which we're gonna get to examples of
both of them. So, yes, it does matter. God said
(12:26):
to remember that day and to keep it holy. And
if nothing else right here, Firse number seven in Malachi
chapter three should be a very clear and stark reminder
to everybody about what God means when he says he
doesn't change, and to do exactly what he instructs us
(12:50):
to do. You have scorned my decrease and failed to
obey them. I'm fairly certain, and it's a very reasonable
absumption that when he says to remember the Sabbath day
and to keep it holy, that is a decree. Again,
(13:14):
it wasn't an option, Okay, it wasn't open to discussion
and debate. It means exactly what it means. Remember that
seventh day of the week again for us, Saturdays, and
(13:34):
on the ancient Jewish calendar what we would come to
know as Saturday. Yes, remember that day and rest and
observance of him. So Jesus didn't change the game when
he came on the scene as God, the Son and
the Flesh, like I said, which we're going to see,
(13:57):
and from at least the recorded history that we have
of some of the apostles, after they, you know, went
out and started feeling the kingdom commission, they did the
exact same thing, all right. So now we are about
to hop into an article on the Life, Hope and
(14:22):
Truth website. Fantastic article, fantastic, and I mean it goes
into it and breaks it right on down. And the
article is titled who changed the day of worship from
Saturday to Sunday? Why the vast majority of mainstream Christians
(14:45):
go to church on Sunday? Yet the Bible speaks of
observing the seventh day Sabbath? Who changed the Sabbath? And
why m the vast majority of mainstream Christians go to
church on Sunday, some regularly, others occasionally. Many are shocked
(15:10):
to hear about some Christians actually going to church on Saturday. However,
the Bible teaches the observance of the seventh day Sabbath.
So how did this come to be? History provides some
shocking details.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
Well, I mean, I I guess it would be shocking
to some, But for others, who you know, actually do
what the Bible commands to study and show ourselves approved,
wasn't all that shocking.
Speaker 1 (15:47):
Matter of fact, to me, it made perfect sense. But anyway,
let's get into it. The Bible makes it clear that
Jesus Christ observed the Saturday Sabbath and his apostles also
observed the Sabbath after his death. Okay, So they didn't
(16:08):
just go along with the program while Jesus was alive
and walking with and among them. No, they continued it. Remember,
go out into the world, make disciples, make believers of
people doing the things that you've observed me doing, doing
all the things that I commanded you to do. Yep,
(16:31):
they observed him taking part in and participating Saturday Sabbath,
and on top of that being Jews themselves. Okay again,
why wouldn't they have continued to observe it. So that's good,
that's letting us know. Like I said, they weren't just
(16:52):
going along with it while Jesus was actually here on
the earth among them. Now, they kept it up. Many
defenders of mainstream Christianity try to attribute the origin of
keeping Sunday to the Apostles, Even so many Sunday keeping
(17:12):
churches have to admit that there is no scriptural basis
for switching to Sunday, nor is there any command by
the Apostles to not keep the Saturday Sabbath exactly exactly,
(17:33):
exactly exactly. And that sentence right there could be applied
to I'd say, yeah, like ninety nine percent of the
things that we talk about on this show, there is
no scriptural basis for doing it. But let's continue. Who
(17:54):
changed the Sabbath day? Since the Sabbath was not changed
in the Bible? Who changed the day of worship from
Saturday to Sunday? When did this change occur? After the
death of the original Apostles, new ideas began to be
introduced into Christianity. Yeah, what, one of those new ideas
(18:21):
being Christianity itself? But I digress. During the second century, Ignatius,
Justin Martyr Irenius and Clements of Alexandria attacked Sabbath observance. Tertullian,
I think that's actually now Tertiulian either one we all
(18:44):
forgive me Tertullian. Tertullian followed in the third century. In
AD three, one Roman Emperor Constantine established Sunday as a
day of rest and ball bar our Emperor Constantine here
(19:05):
and that early Roman Catholic system, Yeah, we have them
to think for, if not all, most of the marrying
of pagan traditions and customs to actual Kingdom of God
(19:26):
instruction and commands and lifestyles. So yeah, this part right here,
It doesn't surprise me at all. And at the Council
of Laodicea around three sixty five, the Catholic Church made
it illegal to judais or be idle from work on
the seventh day seventh So yeah, okay again again, just
(19:51):
like I said, that early Roman Catholic system, most most
of this, man, yes, that was introduced into actual kingdom
principles and instructions that were laid down and established by
Jesus the Christ and them by the apostles. All right,
(20:16):
done away with or merged in with pagan traditions and
customs and changing. But you have to think about, first
of all, how hypocritical and stupid this is. Okay, So
you all accepted the Jewish Messiah as your Lord and
(20:39):
savior and accepted the Kingdom of God, principles that he
preached and taught about again from this Jewish Messiah. So
why did be judaizing recognizing the Sabbath the exact same
(21:07):
Sabbath day that him and his apostles recognized, or in
other words, another way to frame that is, you all
were able to accept a Jewish person as your savior supposedly,
but not not the Jewish observance, and really not not
(21:34):
even necessarily Jewish. Okay, as we already saw the flat
out commandment and decree of their God, of Jesus's you know, Father,
you all couldn't or wouldn't accept that. Like I said that,
that's hypocrite, that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. But we're
(21:57):
coming to why this is hm, these changes were accepted
by what had become the majority of Christianity. Well, again,
if you all hadn't introduced and accepted a new religion
and the mess that comes along with that, then all
(22:20):
these other things probably probably wouldn't have come about. Wait anyway,
but scattered and persecuted groups of Christians continued to observe
the seventh day Sabbath and other teachings of the early
New Testament Church. Well, you know what, right on for
(22:41):
those believers. How could such a major change come about?
What were the underlying reasons for the change from Saturday
to Sunday? Why was the Sabbath changed to Sunday? So
what made the mainstream Christian Church changed the day of
(23:04):
rest and worship from Saturday to Sunday so long ago?
The major causes seemed to be a combination of church
authority overwriting scriptural principles and the influences of Sun worship
and anti Semitism. Exactly exactly what I just said, taking
(23:30):
scriptural slash Kingdom principles and instructions and then mushmashing them,
combining them with paganism and okay, for the purposes of
because the words doing here pre Christian paganism and pre
(23:52):
Christian traditions. Okay, So we bam got the answer like
right there. And the underlying reason for doing this before
we go on to this next session is because Constantine
and others were trying to have it both ways. They
(24:13):
were trying to appease this growing number of Roman and
people around Rome, this growing number of Roman believers, and
also trying to keep peace and appease all of the
Romans who were already practicing and observing Roman religions and customs. Okay,
(24:40):
So they were, as much as I hate this term,
they were trying to have their cake and eat it too.
But doesn't work like that, Okay. Jesus tells us an
unstable man, a double minded man is unstable, and all
their ways double. Yeah. Two, But trying to think and
(25:00):
operate two opposing ways, and no man can serve two mans.
You're either gonna love the one or hate the other. So,
in other words, that it was never going to ultimately
work out and still work out the way that God
and Jesus had instructed. Okay, So the Catholic Church claimed
(25:24):
authority to change scriptural principles. Yeah, you know, no surprise
to anybody around a d. Four hundred Augustine, a respected
Catholic theologian, proclaim that the Holy Doctors of the Church
(25:45):
have the creed that all glory of the Jewish Sabbath
is transferred to it, and that it being Sunday, let
us therefore keep the Lord's Day as the ancients were
commanded to do the Sabbath. All right, Well, you know
(26:07):
I would be the first person to readily admit make
the claim that I ain't nowhere close to the smartest
man on the planet. But what the heck is a
holy doctor? And even more so, what the heck is
a holy doctor of the Church? Okay, it is that
(26:27):
like a regular physician who happens to have accepted Jesus
as his Lord and savior. Is that some new sub
category of doctors and physician? Yeah, okay, I have no
idea who these holy doctors are. And furthermore, who gave
(26:52):
them the authority and the goal to thee that the
day set forth by God? Okay, what was no longer
to be observed? And that they just took it upon
(27:14):
themselves to change that day from Saturday to Sunday. They
had these holy doctors of the Church. And it's funny
because they end this with let us therefore keep the
Lord's Day as the ancients were commanded to do to
the Sabbath. Well, maybe if you were gone by the
(27:38):
ancient Jews, that that to me, that should have been
the you know, authority and the command that you all
were keeping. Because again, remember we read the scriptures in
Malachi and in Hebrew. Have God commanded them to keep
(27:58):
it on a Saturday? Then again, who gave you all
the authority to command that that be changed. Again, if
you all were, if they were all in on heaping
all scriptural commandments, all scriptural precepts, then know that they
(28:22):
should have been left alone and left to Saturday. But
we're coming up on who these ancients were, that they
were really following and believing it all right, So let's continue.
The Catholic Encyclopedia section on Sunday mentioned Saint Cesareus or
(28:49):
Caesareous of ours reinforcing this teaching in the sixth century
as well. These men put the chain of the Sabbath
in the hands of the doctors of the Church. Oh okay,
here we go. So we just got to answer to
who these holy doctors of the Church are. They're a
(29:12):
post Apostolic church officials, okay, so yeah, in other words,
these people who waited well until after the original apostles.
Yet we're dead and gone. And I don't think it
(29:33):
actually mentions it in this article, but some that, especially
those like Paul and the other ones who ventured into
Rome and Greece surrounding areas. Yeah, actually being put to
death by these same Roman church officials, these hands of
(29:56):
the Holy Doctor got it. Hm. Wh So yeah, yeah,
they waited again. They waited until the originals, the originals,
who again, by the way, kept and observed Saturday Sabbath.
(30:22):
They waited until they were out of the picture to
take it up on themselves. Who made this change? Now,
what's interesting between the article we just read and this one,
even though I'm sure it would have been a lie anyway,
that there's no mentioning of them making these changes by
(30:45):
inspiration or command of God. Mm hmm. It was in
the hands of the holy doctors of the Church. And again,
like I said, even if they had claimed that, well,
that just would have been one more lie in their
(31:08):
whole bag of lies, because again we already read the
scripture where God instituted Saturday as the Sabbath and where
he reinforced Saturday as the Sabbath. So yeah, that would
have been a flat out lie. So even if they
had come to them, oh, well, by inspiration of God's
(31:31):
Holy Spirit, we were told to change the son. No,
you weren't your lying you holy doctors of the Church. Wow,
all right, let's continue in its section on the ten
Commandments that Catholic Encyclopedia says, and I quote the Church
(31:54):
with a capital C, on the other hand, after changing
the day of rest from the Jewish Sabbath or seventh
day of the week. Well, and at least they were
honest that part, and they admitted it to the first
made the third commandment we counted as the fourth, refer
(32:17):
to Sunday as the day to be kept holy as
the Lord's day. All right. Well again they're just flat
out admitting it. Okay, So not only are you all
changing god established Sabbath day, but okay, you're going in
(32:38):
now and talking around with his commandments as well, which
includes remembering and keeping the Sabbath day. Again, you know,
a bit hypocritical here. You all have no problem accepting
(33:00):
this God, accepting his son as your Lord and savior. Okay,
all this done originally in the lens of Judaic practices,
and yeah, I don't really want to say customs, but
(33:21):
you know, in the lens of being from the Jews
point of view mostly And the reason why I say
mostly is, of course, because one of the last recorded
commandments we got from Jesus, and we see the apostles,
all right, then it was time to go out into
the world preach and teaches this message. The gentiles, so
(33:43):
they too would have the ability to accept the Lord
as our uh set Jesus as our Lord and Messiah.
So yeah, no problem with any of that up you
know so far. But the actual commandments to keep the Sabbath,
(34:03):
to keep the Sabbath, and to keep it holy, well,
again they seem to have a problem that. And again
we're getting to it. Here is another instance in which
Sunday worship was put into practice based on the Catholic
Church's claim of authority to change a scriptural principle. Again,
(34:30):
mainstream church authorities will assume it is what the apostles wanted. Well, okay,
first of all, again, author of this article, man fan freakantastic,
cause you put it right out there. It was based
on nothing more than what the Catholic Church wanted to
(34:52):
do and on their own steam and energy. Okay, Like
I said, God had no parts in that, at least
not the Holy God. But these mainstream church authorities, okay,
with their assumption, well, y'all don't know what they say
about the word assume. And when you break it down
to its three syllables, why would they had to have
(35:16):
assumed that that's what the apostles wanted when we have
recorded evidence of the apostles observing these Saturday Sabbath. Okay,
if the apostles wanted Sunday observers, then they would have
(35:36):
done Sunday observants. They would have taught and preached Sunday observants.
But they didn't. They didn't. They kept it to Saturday.
How do we know, Well, that's how baking the scriptures,
you know. Go to the Book of Luke, chapter four,
(36:04):
verse number sixteen. Luke, chapter four, verse number sixteen. I'm
gonna grab some water here right quick, okay, And it
(36:33):
reads when he came to the village of Nazareth his boyhood,
he went as usual to the synagogue on the Sabbath
and stood up to read the scriptures. Well, who is
the he that is talking about here, that went to
the village of Nazareth, his boyhood home. Well, we all
(36:56):
know talking about Jesus the Christ. So since we know
that God the Father and by extension, God the Son,
they they aren't liars, they aren't deceivers. They don't operate
anywhere in that realm that all belongs to that other dude, Satan.
(37:19):
If Jesus had meant for a Sunday to be changed
excuse me, into the new day of observice and worship.
Then he would have gone to the synagogue on Sunday
or made some proclamation declaration of it being changed. So no,
well we see right here that he went to the Sabbath,
(37:41):
because of course he had to still have been alive
to go to the synagogue. He went on Saturday and
stood up to read the scriptures, which was part of
that Sabbath observance and worship. Okay, So the holy doctors
(38:03):
of the Church that they couldn't even you know, fabricate
that lie if they wanted to, Well I'm sorry, yeah,
I guess they could, because they did ultimately. But for
those of us who have the benefit of having these
scriptures ourselves, then we can come right back and do
exactly what I'm doing now to show why. Okay, you
(38:24):
know what, this mess is not right, it's wrong. Anybody
who says it doesn't matter, okay, you're also wrong. So
speaking of these apostles and the changing of the commandments
and the changing of the day of observing the Sabbath
(38:46):
is what they assume the apostles would have won it. Well, hey,
let's actually look at what the apostles did. Go to
the Book of Acts. Let's look at chapter thirteen, versus
thirteen and fourteen. Acts Chapter thirteen, verses thirteen and fourteen.
(39:10):
We'll put just a quick pause, just a quick one already,
(39:32):
and they read. Paul and his companions then left Hephus
by ship for Pamphilia, landing at the port town of Persia. There,
John Mark left them and returned to Jerusalem, but Paul
(39:54):
and Barnabas traveled inland to Antioch of Pisidiam. On the Sabbath,
they went to the synagogue for the services. Okay, I
mean we have it literally right there. Paul and Barnabas said,
(40:17):
both of these were apostles who are around at that time.
And again even the names of these cities, yeah, like
I said, these around Rome and Greek and that area.
So why why would the mainstream church authorities assume that's
(40:40):
what the apostles wanted when, like I said, they had
actual evidence that the apostles never once observed the Sabbath
on Sunday. So the actual answer to that question and
the truth is no, they know got dog on well
(41:01):
day with the apostles wanted, because like I said, if
that's what they wanted, they would have done it. That's
what they want and wanted, okay. And by they we're
talking about right here, the Catholic Church, all right. Other
(41:22):
Catholic writers made it clear that Sunday services and worship
are not endorsed by biblical teachings, but only by their
church's authority exactly. And again got to give it up
(41:44):
to these Catholic believers right here for keeping it one
hundred that is absolutely right. The Catholic Universe bulletin said
in nineteen forty two, the Church changed the observed of
the Sabbath day to Sunday by right of the divine
(42:06):
infallible authority given to her by her founder, Jesus Christ.
The Protestant claiming the Bible to be the only guide
of faith, has no warrant for observing Sunday in this matter.
The Seventh day Adventist is the only consistent Protestant. Okay.
(42:32):
So again this first part here, the Catholic Church changing
it by the authority given to her by Jesus Christ,
flat out, lie, flat out lie, no basis what soever.
(42:58):
And just like it said right here in the little
paragraph above this one, Okay, this was not endorsed by
biblical teachings, but only by their church's authority. Remember we
read Hebrews thirteen eight. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday,
(43:19):
today and forever. Jesus, being part of the Godhead, established
Saturday as the Sabbath. God does not change. He is
the same yesterday, today and forever. We just read the
scripture in Luke where Jesus observed the Sabbath, the Saturday Sabbath.
(43:47):
So it's bad enough that they did dismiss to begin
with that they changed it from Saturday to Sunday. But
then but then they're adding on or as they say,
dadding insult to injury by saying that they were given
this infallible authority by Jesus Christ. Oh boy, there's a
(44:13):
scripture that says, matter of fact, speaking of Jesus, he
was the one who gave us this scripture, the only
unpartnerable sin is blaspheming against the Holy Spirit. And since
the Holy Spirit is the spirit of God. Well, you
(44:37):
can go ahead and lump this claim right into there too.
You're lying, and on top of all people, you're lying
on Jesus to Christ. Wow wow wow wow. Okay, Well,
they certainly had more gusts now ever, half of my
(44:59):
life because they're wrong. It ain't happening on this side,
all right, So let's continue the publication. The Catholic Virginian
said in nineteen forty seven, all of us believe many
things in regard to religion that we do not find
in the Bible. For example, nowhere in the Bible do
(45:23):
we find that Christ or the Apostles ordered that the
Sabbath be changed from Saturday to Sunday. We have the
commandment of God given to Moses to keep holy the
sabbnth day, that is the seventh day of the week, Saturday. Today,
(45:46):
most Christians keep Sunday because it has been revealed to
us by the Church outside the Bible. It has been
added on through lies and manipulation, okay, to us by
the Catholic Church outside of the Bible, but not by God,
(46:14):
not by Jesus, and not by inspiration of the Holy Ghost.
So again they even again started off right here in
their statement where they admitted there is no scriptural basis
for that change. It was all done by man. Again,
(46:40):
just like the formation of this Christian religion in the
first place, that was given by no command by God,
nor Jesus nor any scriptural basis. Humans took it upon
themselves to do it. And well, here we are today
(47:02):
with with all you know, these one hundred different denominations
and offshoots of it, which, by the way, most of them,
in one way or another, are an offshoot by Roman Catholicism.
Oh yeah, I just wanted to make sure make that
(47:23):
point and put that in there. Okay, let's keep going.
Thomas A. Keenness, a very influential theologian, wrote, in the
New Law the observance of the Lord's they took the
place of the observance of the Sabbath. A minute, what
in the New Law the observance of the Lord's day? Okay,
(47:49):
which is the Sabbath took the place of the observance
of the Sabath. That doesn't even make sense. Okay, But anyway,
not by virtue of the precept, but by the institution
of the Church and the custom of Christian people. Oh okay. So,
(48:12):
in other words, just another way of saying, by the
institution of Roman Catholicism. And because so many Christians, either
out of laziness, out of ignorance, out of rebellion, or
just flat out stupidity, you know, don't fight back or
(48:36):
completely ignore that mess and just continue to keep the
Saturday Sabbath the way God gave into it, gave and
instructed us to. Okay. These examples make it clear that
the Sabbath was not changed to Sunday by Jesus Christ
or the apostles, but rather by those who believe they
(49:01):
had the authority to change biblical principles. Since Hebrews thirteen
eight says Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever,
it is hard to understand why a change Christ never
authorized was made exactly exactly, exactly exactly now. It's not
(49:33):
too hard to understand why it was made because, like
I said, talking about mankind and his old his own
evil machinations, So ain't too are dumb understand why it
was done? Sad that it was done, But like I said,
(49:55):
what is I'm not gonna even say hard to understand,
But you know what is what I'm trying to think
it of the correct word here? Sad? Maybe disheartening to
understand is why now, and I mean honestly, for years,
(50:20):
with all the avenues of history of learning history that
we have, why so many believers continue to follow this
man made custom, including even following and referring to themselves
(50:47):
as Christians in the first place. With all these this avenue,
we have to learn the truth. So yeah, like I said,
pitiful and this heartening, but no, for me, it ain't
hard to understand. It is not hard to understand at all,
(51:10):
all right, So we're gonna go ahead and end this
one right here. Man, I'll tell y'all lead this time
flies by, but we will pick up next time over
finding out, okay, exactly going into some more in depth
details of exactly who was behind that, because oh yeah, okay,
(51:40):
can't to be honest, can't lay it all on these
holy doctors of the church. Okay, that there was some
more let's say, more influential uh huh influential people behind this,
and also it helped shed some more light and understanding
(52:03):
on like I said, why it was just allowed to
continue on on and on and on right on up
here until October second, twenty twenty five. So here we
go with people, but will not will not leave off
without telling people. For those who might want to or
(52:24):
need to hear this before diving in or getting involved
with the Day of Observance. Which is Saturday. I want
to make sure that people, first of all, first and
foremost do was really important in the long okay, the
(52:47):
long scheme, the big overview of that, and that is accepting,
believing in and accepting Jesus the Christ as your lord
and say, Okay, nobody can make you do it, nobody
can tell you when it's time to do it. Trust
(53:10):
and believe you will know when you feel that deep yearning,
that pull inside of you that just makes you say,
you know what, I think there really might be something
to this. I feel like I should be just like, oh,
(53:30):
you know, Jesus, I need you, God, I need you.
But a lot of people don't know how they think.
You know, you have to go run into a building,
or you have to get your life cleaned up first
before you come to No, you don't have to do
either of those. When you feel that, when you have
made up in your mind that you know what I'm
(53:54):
going all in, I really am going to trust Geezus
is exactly who I've heard that he is, exactly who
I've seen that he is, and I'm going to trust
him too at that moment, no matter where you are
and what you're doing, it is simply a matter of saying, Jesus,
(54:16):
I have faith and I believe that you are indeed
the savior of mankind. I believe you are the son
of God. I know I'm a sinner. I know I'm
destined to hell and then from there to eternal damnation,
to eternal torment. I don't want any of that. So Jesus,
(54:38):
I'm asking you now, I'm begging, pleading, please make me clean,
wash me clean, bedeem me with your spiritual blood. That's
literally all. That's literally all you have to do. You've
admitted that you know you're a sinner, believe in your
(55:03):
heart of hearts, that Jesus indeed is real and that
he shed his blood for you, or a whole nother
shorter way of saying that it is you have faith
in him, and then you're actually saying to him, I
need you to wash me clean with your blood. And
(55:24):
know what I said before. Even some people, for whatever reason,
don't have the gift of speech, so they might be thinking,
oh my goodness, I can't talk and verbalize that I'm
not going to get saved. When you do get saved
and you study Jesus and God the Father, you learn
(55:46):
that they see the heart and not this muscle that
beats inside your chest that helps regulate blood from all
or in other words, okay, your mind, your soul. So
if you think, if you think that the exact same
thing I think. I'm letting Jesus know I'm a sinner.
(56:09):
I'm reaching out to you mentally. He will hear you.
He'll hear you, because that wouldn't have been fair for
people born like that to just automatically, Oh well, you
can't say the words, so you're automatically going to turn
on damnation. No, like I said, there are multiple scriptures
where Jesus himselves says, look we look at the heart.
(56:33):
Like I said, slash up the mind and your emotions,
their feelings, your beliefs. So just think that exact same thing,
and you're still gonna be good to go. Like I said,
no matter where you are, you had better do it
when you feel that right then and there, because you
do not do not have the guarantee of having the
(56:58):
next minute. You drop dead right then and there. So
when you feel that, acknowledge that you're a sinner, acknowledge
that you believe he's the only way, and then ask
him to wash you clean with his blood, and then
they after you do that, you can address his father.
You could say, hey, you got it all right. I've
(57:19):
already gone to Jesus and asked him to wash me
clean with his blood to be saved. Okay, now you're
supposed to be sending your holy ghost, your holy spirit
to dwell within me, because I heard that there's these gifts.
There's these special gifts that you made that you've assigned
for me in here, and I need the right way
(57:42):
to activate those gifts, and that's your Holy spirit. So
send your holy spirit quick Lord. And at the same time,
please send people in my life in my path to
help me starting on this journey and to go along
who have a mind for preaching and teaching your kingdom,
(58:03):
your Kingdom of God, your Kingdom of Heaven. How I'm
supposed to operate and move in your kingdom. And that's it.
I don't need twenty different people from twenty different denominations
of Christianity coming at me, Okay. I need people who
truly coming about your kingdom and your kingdom alone. And
(58:26):
then hey, once you say that, wrap it all up
with and Jesus is in your name, in the name
of Jesus that I'm praying this amen, and Amen means
a is done, So let it be. Hey. Once you
do that, man, you know, celebrate, lap your hands, jump
(58:47):
up in there. I don't know, do a twist around,
whatever you do to celebrate anyway, because that's exactly what God, Jesus,
the Holy Spirit, and all of the heavenly ai do.
Whenever somebody gets saved, they rejoice for you because they
know that it is at least one more person who
(59:11):
will not be joining Satan in the lake of fire
and eternal damnation. And having said that, on the flip
side of that, Satan will be mad, mad, mad mad,
quite literally mad as hell, and he will not sit
(59:35):
back and accept that. So you are going to experience
periods of inconvenienced, periods of just pressure in your life
like you have never experienced before, because Satan is going
to drop that hammer on you. He's going to drop
(59:56):
it on you to either kill you off or try
to kill you before time so you cannot do the
work of the kingdom or to get you to change
your mind. Be like, man, you know what, Okay, I
didn't have to deal with all this before I came
to you. All right, maybe I don't want any parts
of this at what one of those two outcomes that
(01:00:17):
that's what he wants. Do not do not fall back,
Do not give Satan that satisfaction. Don't do it. Endure it,
going harder on prayer, going harder on your belief, and
(01:00:37):
just remember all things we suffer in this reality that
we know is all temporary. I call it too, the
two sides of there's temporary or the temporal, this existence
that we're living in these bodies, and then you have
the eternal, which is what we really are, spiritual beings.
(01:01:00):
And on that eternal side of existence, you're only going
to be either one or two places. You're either going
to be in heaven with God, with Jesus and enjoin
the fruits and the marvelousness of eternal life, or you're
going to be in a lake of fire, burning smoking,
(01:01:23):
being tormented in darkness, eternally separated from God. That there
is no second chance. So hey, try your best deal
with it. Lean on God, he says in his word,
(01:01:45):
he never puts more on any of us that we
can bear. So that's it. People, like I said, celebrate,
just like guiding them is celebrating saying's mad come at you.
Oh well, you have an advocate, you have a safety
(01:02:07):
net around you. Satan can't do nothing, nothing to you, okay,
unless God permits it. And if God permits it, then't
trust and believe again there's a reason why, and he
will reveal what that reason is. But He ain't letting
(01:02:30):
Satan take you up out of here or do more
to you before your time ain't gonna happen. So if
Satan man just let them be mad, oh well, oh
freaking well. All right, So again y'all, like I said,
that's all we have for tonight. God willing will be
back here next week. Jump in the part two of this,
and like I said, actually put a name to this establishment,
(01:02:55):
this religion, who is behind the changing up of the
command and the changing up the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday.
But in the meantime, if you all would, I would deeply,
deeply appreciate to leave a like on this if you're

to love other people even more so, try our best
to love others and to help them, even if we
have to do it from afar, because a lot of
times we do have to do it from afar. All right,
(01:04:30):

along with, but it's a commandment from God. So like
I said, try your best, y'all, stay watchful about what's
going on, not just in whatever country you live in,
but in this entire world. Definitely stay preyed up that
