Speaker 1 (00:01):
Tonight, we are going to conclude this teaching on how
Sabbath Day worship got changed to Sunday from its original
day Saturday, and we're actually going to dig into the
background of the cult that was operating in Rome that
was responsible for doing this. So y'all come on with me.
Let's continue on taking this ride of breaking this tradition

(00:24):
that God instituted and said that it was okay for
his Sabbath day to be changed from Saturday to Sunday.
Let's do it. Hello, hi, and howdy, this is your man, JK. Moore.
Welcome back to breaking tradition. So last week we got

(00:47):
started looking at the scriptures where God originally created the
Sabbath day on Saturday, and we also started digging into
this article from the Life, Hope and Truth website that
went into some fantastic background in detail from Catholic documents

(01:08):
or the Catholic Church documents that shows that these people
took it upon themselves to change the Sabbath day from
Saturday to Sunday. But tonight we're gonna get a more
definite answer as to why they did that. So we
got a lot of good information, So let's go ahead
and jump right on into it. All right, So we're

(01:29):
going to start back on that same article from the Life,
Hope and Truth website, and the title of this particular
section is origin of Sunday Worship Sun worship. All right.
Constantine was the first so called I like how they

(01:53):
put that, the first so called Christian Roman emperor. Though
he did stop much of the persecution of Christians as
a whole, it seems he did more to introduce sun
worship into Christianity than any before him. Yeah, and you

(02:16):
go Diglanto again. The early Catholic Church, the early counsel
of Lao Decil and all the stuff they were up
to them jokers, was pretty much the one that we
have to thank for. I would say most, if not all,
of the pagan worship and customs that end up getting
mishmashed into the Kingdom of God, teaching and belief, or

(02:43):
if you want to use the word Christianity. All right,
let's continue. Historian Paul Johnson details some of this influence.
Constantine was almost certainly mythright, and his triumphal built after
his conversion testifies to the Sun God or unconquered Sun.

(03:10):
Constantine never abandoned sun worship and kept the Sun on
his coins. All right. So before were going further, all right,
there was the Sun that we're talking about here, And
ain't the son of God Jesus as oh n. No,
it's talking about the Sun, that big, bright, beautiful star
that is responsible or partly responsible for our continued existence

(03:34):
on this planet. As you in, he made Sunday into
a day of rest, closing the law courts and forbidding
all work except agricultural labor. Okay. So let's jump back
up to this n word here, a myth right, Okay?

(03:54):
What is a myth? Right? Well, so glad to ask.
Let's check it out here. Okay. So now we're looking
at information from the Britannica dot com website about Mithra
or Mythraism. So it describes Mythraism as the worship of Mithra,

(04:17):
the Iranian god of the Sun, justice, contract, and war
in pre Zoroastrian Iran, known as Mythrus. In the Roman
Empire during the second and third century CE, this deity
was honored as the patron of loyalty to the emperor.

(04:41):
After the acceptance of Christianity by the Emperor Constantine in
the early fourth century, Mythraism rapidly declined. Okay, well, it
might have rapidly declined, but clearly it didn't go away completely.
Well how do we know that, Well because Sunday worship

(05:02):
was still instituted, and all the offshoot denominations of Roman Catholicism,
which is most of them, or at least most of
the early denominations of Christianity. Okay, they kept the practice going,
which is why again you have most of them who
still observed Sunday as the quote unquote Sabbath day. So

(05:29):
this right here, this is where mythra is. And when
I was reading over this, something jumped out at me.
I was like, you know what. Okay, so the Roman
Catholics co opted the Sabbath day and just belief in God,
in Jesus as a whole from naturally from the Jews,

(05:53):
I said, But even with this, the co opting of
this deity mythra is right here, it's an Iranian God
of the Sun. I was like, dang man, Okay, did
these people create anything on their own or was their
entire belief system based off other cultures beliefs and whatever

(06:16):
deities they worship? And okay, again, between the Jewish custom
and culture and now Iranian or Persian as we'll see
later on in this article, which of course includes what
we now know is the country of Iran. They seem
to have loved and liked the what we know as

(06:39):
Middle Eastern North African systems of belief here, all right, Okay,
so we're not going to go all into the entire
history of Mythraism, zoro astronism and you know, all this
offshoots and how you got started, but I will definitely

(07:04):
be putting a link to this article in the description
of the video. So if you want to read this
or any other information out there about mythrism and more
than welcome and check it out, but we do definitely
want to hit this sentence. Mithra was also the god
of the Sun, of the shining light that beholds everything,

(07:27):
and hints was invoked in oaths. The Greeks and Romans
considered Mithra as a sun god. He was probably also
the god of kings. He was the god of mutual
obligation between the king and his warriors, and hence the
god of war, which the Roman god of war is

(07:50):
named Mars. Very familiar names of any of us who
are astronomy buffs. That's the planet that's right behind us
in our solar system. He was also the god of justice,
which was guaranteed by the king. Whenever people observed justice
and contract, they venerated Mithra. Okay, so we're gonna go

(08:14):
ahead and scoop on down here something because, like I said,
we're not gonna read all of this, but I mean,
we definitely are hitting them what I would call the
hot points here. Just like the article from Life, Hope
and Truth was talking about the Roman constant Roman emperor

(08:34):
Constantine being a mythright. Well, a mythright is just a
person who observed and took part in mythra uh celebration
and observation, just like in the same way those who
believe in Christ as the Savior, a lot of them
go by the term Christian. Same type deal. But yeah,

(08:56):
Mithra in Persian belief was also the god of the sun,
and the Greeks and Romans considered Mithra as a sun god,
not the sun god, but as a sun god. Because
I'm yeah, the Romans themselves actually had a different name

(09:18):
for one of their other sun guys. I can't remember
who it is, but we're just focusing on the one
and the belief system to end up getting co opted
into kingdom belief. What let's skew to be on down
here through this article. Oh yes, we're definitely going to

(09:40):
read this because this definitely plays an important part in it.
Local aristocrats in the western part of the former Persian
Empire retained their devotion to Mithra. The kings and nobles
of the border region between the Greco Roman and the

(10:01):
Iranian world still worshiped him. When Terradates of Armenia acknowledged
the Roman emperor Nero as his supreme lord, he performed
a mythright ceremony indicating that the god of contact and
no friendship established good relations between the Armenians and the

(10:23):
mighty Romans. So nobles, kings and nobles between the Greco
or the Greek, Grecian and Roman and the Iranian world
still worshed him. So kings and nobles from Greece and
from Rome still observed Mithra or still participated in Mithra celebrations.

(10:54):
Mithra observation all right, So there is little notice of
the Persian god in the Roman world until the beginning
of the second century, but from the year one point

(11:14):
thirty six CE onward. There are hundreds of dedicatory inscriptions
to mythram This renewal of interest is not easily explained.
The most plausible hypothesis seemed to be that Roman Mythraism
was practically a new creation wrought by a religious genius

(11:37):
who may have lived as late as one hundred cee
and who gave the old traditional Persian ceremonies a new
platonic interpretation that enabled Mythraism to become acceptable to the
Roman world. Okay, so again, just like the article from
Life Hoping Truths that we read of how they changed

(12:01):
up of the commandments and how they changed up the
day of rest and worship from Saturday to Sunday because
they say they didn't want to judaize the Roman society.
So again, they stole these people's culture, their worship where
it originated from, and put fresh coat of Roman paint

(12:27):
on it and try to pass it off as something new.
But it wasn't new, okay, because as we were already seen,
this was already an established form of worship from Persian empires.
Roman Mythraism, like Iranian Mythraism, was a religion of loyalty,

(12:47):
toward the king. It seems to have been encouraged by
the Empress, especially communists Septimia Severus and Carol Carlo. Okay,
so hopmco here. Constantine Emperor was almost certainly a mythriot,
and his triumphal arc built after his conversion testifies to

(13:12):
the Sun God. And it even started off right here.
It seems he did more to introduce the Sun worship
into Christianity than any before him. So yeah, a religion
of loyalty towards the king, Roman nobles. Roman kings already
saw that. So we're getting a nice, nice good picture

(13:35):
painted here for us rank We're gonna skip all that. Ah.
But in three twelve, Constantine won the battle at the
Milvion Bridge under the sign of the Cross, which is
also a demonic symbol that was created in worship of

(13:55):
a Babylonian demon. But that's a whole nother teacher. Instantaneous
the dedications to mythra ceased. Well again, no, we know
that's not true, even though there was no immediate public
interdiction of mythrights ceremonies. Uh yeah, well, these ceremonies and

(14:16):
the meeting place for these mythrights, whereas underground and subterranean anyway.
So yeah, out in public, they may not have been
doing it as loud and proud as they have been
at one time, but that doesn't mean that they ceased it.
Just said there was no public interdiction or for them

(14:38):
to have stopped doing it in public. So yeah, they
kept doing what they had been doing. They just took
it underground. The worship seemed to have collapsed quite suddenly
when imperial favors ceased to be with the mythraierss myth Raiers. Okay, yeah,
we're just gonna say, myth rights dedications to me appear

(15:01):
again between three fifty seven and three eighty seven. Okay,
so in three twelve and Constantine's so called brought into
this thing, well we see forty some years later and
about thirty years after that, okay, yeah, the dedications appeared again.

(15:23):
Of course they appeared again, because like I just said,
they never stopped. They just took it underground, but only
at Rome. The dedicators all come from the old pagan
aristocracy of the city of Rome, so the lawmakers, the nobleman,

(15:46):
the shot callers, the people with the most money and
the most influenced, which in this period was an open
opposition to the new Christian emperor at Constantinople. Well, yeah,
because Constantine, like with most things, he was trying to

(16:09):
have his cake and eat it too, all right. He
was trying to double dip. He wanted to keep hanging
out with the other myth were boys, but then appear
in public like he was all for Jesus. In these inscriptions, however,
myth run is only one of many traditional pagan gods.

(16:31):
So again, see, even Constantine himself did not completely do
away with it or outlawed because the god was still
being inscribed. We saw back in the other paragraph. He
was still being inscribed on shields and crests and even
on their money, which we're going to also see again
back on the other side. The myth wright mysteries had

(16:54):
gradually faded long before, and when the Roman opposition was
the feat pagan worship was suppressed altogether. Okay, again suppressed,
not done away with, not destroyed, not completely taken out
of society. They just made it harder for them to

(17:17):
do this stuff in public, but it did not stop,
all right. Okay, So yeah, nope, you're not gonna read
on that, no Ah, Yes, we're definitely gonna touch on this.
The mythritic sectuaries were subterranean caverns, which presented obvious limitations

(17:43):
of size. Okay, So yes, like I said, when these
guys got together and did their thing, they did it
underground anyway. So again, no, the worship, celebration, the observation
of this sun, this Persian son god, did not stop altogether,

(18:04):
and they just kept an underground any think they took
it further underground. M M all right, So nope, we're
not gonna read about the initiation ceremonies. I thought there

(18:27):
was one more thing I wanted to show on here. Okay, No,
maybe that was it as far as this one. Okay, yeah, yes,

(18:49):
that is it, as far as this posting here from
Britannica dot com. But again, as we saw all throughout here,
this is how it got introduced into Roman society, this
myth right belief, this belief in this Iranian slash Persian

(19:13):
god of the Sun, by Roman. That's just say Roman
high society, which certainly the Emperor Constantine would have been
a part of. He was a part of it, all right,
So hot that go over to this site. So yes,
Constantine was almost certainly a myth, right, Constantine never abandoned

(19:40):
sun worship and kept the sun on his coins. Yeah,
like I said, we saw that in the other article
where it talks about how myth work was one of
the many pagan gods that were still on the inscriptions.
And Constantine made Sunday into a day of worsk So
between him and these holy doctors and these church officials

(20:03):
Roman Catholic church officials, yeah, it was all a coming
together and a meeting of the minds here because these
early church officials again would have certainly have not been
men who are part of this aristocracy and high society.
Then they definitely would have been influenced by the aristocracy

(20:27):
in the high society, and well we just read it,
they were mythro worshipers. So yeah, Constantine did nothing to
stop the desecration of God's holy word and his commandment,
which was remember the seventh day to keep it holy.

(20:49):
And God's Sabbath day is the day we know as Saturday,
the original seventh day of the week, not Sunday. Let's
continue on. So a royal decree to rest and worship
on Sunday instead of Saturday was made by the Roman
emperor A sun worshiper. Now, thanks to Constantine, Christians were

(21:14):
celebrating on the same day the myth riots worshiped the Sun.
This is a blatant example of pagan influence in Christian practices,
exactly exactly. Christians, now holding services on the venerable day

(21:36):
of the Sun, became so confused in their worship that
during the reign of Emperor Emperor Julian. Johnson notes, the
Bishop of Troy told Julian he had always prayed secretly
to the Sun. The bishop here, okay, and yes, it

(21:56):
is talking about the biblical description of a bishop, which
is an office that was set up in the early
kingdom ecclesia. I'm trying my best not to use this
sea word right here Christianity, but if he'll make it

(22:17):
easier for some people to understand, okay, bishop was one
of the officers set up in the early Christian Church,
which again, okay, that there is absolutely nowwhere, whatsoever where
God nor Jesus ever instructed to be praying to the Son. Okay,

(22:39):
even though actual son of God Son, let us know,
you ain't supposed to be praying to me, You're supposed
to be praying to the Father. Just like he did.
So no matter which son it is, as un ol
so o in US Kingdom, believers ain't supposed to be
praying to neither one of them. The only difference there

(22:59):
is we are told to pray in His name, in
the name of Jesus, in the name of Yeshua. Yes,
whatever you want and whatever you need, pray to the
Father in my name, and that he will do because
only him and his name is worth it. But outside
of that, no, ain't no taking on practices of other

(23:23):
pagan cultures. Matter of fact, she is a sizable chunk
of the Old Testament where God had to keep spanking
the Jews behinds for doing that very thing, taking on
the pagan practices and worship of their pagan gods and
deities that they worshiped. So yes, this bishop, this Christian

(23:50):
Bishop of Troy, told the new Emperor he had always
prayed secretly to the Son. See see what I mean? Okay,
even these men, whether they bishop or you know whatever
other titles that they used within the Catholic Church system. Yeah,
when it was originally set up, Yeah, no doubt, it

(24:13):
was set up by people who, if they weren't myth
rights again directly influenced by these myth rights. These myth rights,
as we saw, were the movers and shakers, all right,
They're the ones who ran the Roman Catholic society that's going.
Thus Christianity took on a major facet of pagan sun

(24:38):
worship that lives on today due to Constantine's influence worshiping
on Sunday. All right, well, I agree and disagree with
that last sentence. Yes, I mean, he's partially the blame
for it, because if he had squad, then if that

(25:04):
was ever even truly his intention, which I seriously doubted was,
then yeah, a good chance that might not have happened.
But we're told each of us individually as believers, to study,
to show ourselves approof, to get wisdom, to get knowledge. Okay,

(25:25):
So there's been more than enough information and resources and
ways to get that information since this time, since the
time of Constantine and all the rest of them. So no,
we ain't gonna lay all this on Constantine because other
people should have already, which other people did, but for

(25:46):
the most part, okay, believers should have woken up realized
where all this started, that it was clearly against God
and God's word and his principles and his loss, and
they should have squashed it, oh, some couple of millennia ago.
So yeah, like I said, we ain't gonna lay this

(26:08):
all on Constantine, all right. Anti Semitism and the rejection
of the Sabbath surging anti Semitism and post Apostolic times
also played a major role in the change to Sunday.
The Council of Lao Deica of course, of course, you know,

(26:30):
the Council of Layo Decee, you know, the usual suspects.
In a d three sixty five decided Christians must not
judaize by resting on the Sabbath, but must work on
that day rather honoring the Lord's day. And if they
can resting then as Christians, okay, yeah, not as Jews,

(26:54):
you know, like Jesus was and and the Apostles. Oh no, no, no,
they have the rest as Christians. But if any shall
be found to be judae isers, let them be anithy
man from Christ. Okay, which this word, And as far
as the Roman Catholics were concerned, okay, this is a

(27:17):
bad thing, almost like being kicked out of the club,
so to speak, separated, shamed. Yeah, so let them be shamed.
From Christ for observing the day that God gave his people,
and this same Christ for observing the same Sabbath that

(27:39):
he himself observed. Okay uh huh. So even the Sabbath
on Saturday was considered judaizing, which was considered a great evil.
Yeah see Constantine at the Council of Nikiah in AD

(28:01):
three twenty five was reported by the historian Eusebius as saying,
it appeared an unworthy thing that in the celebration of
this most holy feast Passover, we should follow the practice
of the Jews. Let us then have nothing in common

(28:22):
with the detestable Jewish crowd. Thus, since Christians wanted nothing
to do with Jews, they wanted to have a different
day for rest and worship Sunday. Okay, again, man the

(28:42):
goal of these people for taking the Sabbath day that
was originally given to the people the Jews, and for
so called worshiping the Savior of the Jews, who again,

(29:04):
as he lived on earth, lived as a Jew and
observed the Jewish holy holy days and feast days and
seventh Day. But these Romans, in stealing and co opting
their day of rest and worship, ought it to be
detestable to have anything in common with these people, even

(29:29):
their beliefs and even their Messiah. Okay, that that is
a level of I mean what the fight of this
section was anti Semitum. Yeah, that that's just straight up
a level of delusion, a level of hate. Okay, that
that's just off the charts. All right, Okay, let's go

(29:54):
and wrap this on up du traditions of men nullifi
the Word of God. The Sabbath was never changed from
Saturday to Sunday by Jesus Christ or the Apostles. If
you get nothing else from this, you better get that

(30:18):
sentence right there, because that is the main thing. That's
the big shebanga bang. Okay, matter fact, let me read
it again. The Sabbath was never changed from Saturday to
Sunday by Jesus Christ or the Apostles. Mmmm mmm m

(30:48):
mmm hm. Well, I mean that's already been well established,
So let's continue on. Sunday became the day of rest
and worship for mainstream Christianity through the Catholic Church claiming
authority to overrule scripture, through pagan influences, and through anti Semitism.

(31:18):
Okay this this, Yeah, well, I was about to call
it a paragraph really only to this two sentences. I
mean this, they sum it up, They say it all
everything that needs to be said, because again, God and
Jesus are the same, yesterday, today, and forever. For God

(31:43):
to have instituted the Sabbath day on Saturday and to
repeat it ly tell his people to remember and honor,
it means he never had any intention for that day
to change, because if not, then he wouldn't be the

(32:03):
same yesterday, today, and forever. Then would he know? That
show that he prone likely to change his mind? But
he's not, and he doesn't. So I mean, yeah, like
I said, this perfectly sums it up. The Catholic Church
claiming the authority to overrule scripture. And that's right, pagan

(32:26):
influence or you know, let's just really really call it
what it is, Satanic influence. Okay, those who try to
base their Christianity up on the teachings of Christ and
the apostles should know the history behind what happened to Saturday.
And then asks one question based on Mark chapter seven,

(32:50):
verse number eight, am I following Christ or the tradition
of men? Exactly? And it's sad to say that most
whatever term you want to put on it. Christians, believers,

(33:11):
kingdom ambassadors, Okay with whichever one. Yeah, they're following the
tradition of men because they continue to have Sunday worship service.
Some of them have even gone about ministry. I used
to be a part of Okay, that pastor would repeatedly say,

(33:35):
refer to Sunday as the Sabbath day. And then you
have others who will sit there and argue with you, ruth.
And now that it doesn't matter which day we rest
and worship on, as long as we're resting and worshiping
and observing God. Okay, if it didn't matter, again, why

(34:00):
did God stipulate and reiterate the original observance. It's give
me the observers of the original Sabbath day. Why did
Jesus the Christ observe on the Sabbath day? And why
did the apostles after Jesus left to go back to

(34:21):
Heaven continue to observe the Sabbath day all on Saturday.
If it doesn't matter, So, yeah, clearly it does matter.
Clearly it does. Author Eddie Foster, I mean I got

(34:42):
to say Eddie Foster a shout out because he did
the thing with this article fantastic, fantastic, And again I'll
I'll be putting the link to this in the description
of the video. So yep, here it is, people here
it is. That is how worship got changed to Sunday

(35:09):
because the pagan cult who was behind it, observed their
pagan god of the Sun on Sun on that day,
which is why it was called Sunday. Used to be
called day of the Sun. And as English you know,

(35:31):
translates and summerizes and change things around. It just changed
day of the Sun to simply Sunday, which is where
it gets his name from. So yep, yep, yep, yep.
Like I said, man, the goal, the goal of these people,

(35:55):
of these people judaizing nothing in common with the Jews.
What okay, let us have nothing in common with the
detestable Jewish crime. Wow wow wow not yeah of a

(36:18):
you know, no doubt because remember that period. Matter of fact,
the period during the Crucifixion of Christ and during Christ's ministry, Okay,
Israel was under Roman leadership and occupation, So yeah, they were.

(36:40):
The Romans were quite familiar with a lot of the
stuff the Jewish leaders in their society got up to,
no doubt, tried to have them, and by them, I
mean the Romans you know, had tried to have them
up to and participate in no doubt. So yeah, a

(37:00):
lot of their acts were detestable. Well, I mean, you
can apply that to every culture, society, ethnicity, whatever that's
that existed on this planet. There's always gonna be some
You're always gonna find some detestable stuff somewhere in their history.
But again we're talking here about very very important times

(37:24):
of the week and times of the year instituted by God,
the Father himself, that he wanted kept just like they were.
And like I said, for these Pagans who again stole this,

(37:48):
this mythright worship from another society. And you know, I'm wondering, okay,
did they consider the Iranians and the Persians detestable too
when they stole their their son God worship from them? Probably? Probably,

(38:08):
all right, people, So that is that is the end
of it. Saturday was, is and will forever be the Sabbath.
Saturday is the day that our father in heaven wants

(38:29):
us to rest and worship. I mean, yes, of course,
we pray to him every day, we honor and glorify
him every day, but that particular time is when he
says rest. Okay, no work, no work. That's why it's

(38:50):
called the day of rest and worship. Okay, reflect on
the goodness of him, including giving us the permission to
not work on that day. Yeah, you got six other
days of the week they working. Do what you do
on them six days, But this day rests in observance
He created because that's the day he rested, even though

(39:12):
the better term for it was ceased. Okay, he ceased creation.
But we look at it as they of rest. So
I'm not deluded. I'm not crazy nor stupid. I know
they're gonna be people who see this or hear this,
Like I said, they're gonna argue against it a while.

(39:34):
Oh no, it's perfectly fine for us to still observe
the Sabbath on Sundays, and they ain't gonna change the thing. Hey, y'all,
I get it, Okay, wasn't born last night. Mama and
Papa Moore ain't made no slow leaks. Okay, But I
can rest easy knowing that I did my part, as

(39:58):
many others like the Although this article did put the
information out there, what people choose to do with it
is what people choose to do with it. That is
literally between them and God. All right, all right, But
one thing I do want to go in on and
definitely want to implore for those who need it, and

(40:21):
that's if you do not know Jesus as your savior,
if you have not accepted Jesus as your savior. Okay, yeah,
again that that's literally between you and him. But I
wouldn't feel right. I would feel I wasn't fully doing
my duty as a fellow brother in the kingdom if

(40:44):
I didn't put it out there for anybody who may
be wondering, okay or thinking, oh, yeah, I have to
wait till Sunday to go to a church building, and
that's where you know, I'll get save it wrong, wrong, wrong.
You can get saved anywhere, anytime of the week, no

(41:04):
matter where you're at. It is simply an omission and
omission to Jesus that you know that you're a sinner
and that you have faith that He is for real,
for real, and that he is the only one who
can save you. It doesn't take some long, detailed, written

(41:27):
out prayer, you know, with making sure all your grammar
and punctuation is correct to no, simply look Jesus. I
believe you exist. I believe you're the only way I'm
ever gonna be able to see Heaven, that eternal life.
All Right, I'm a sinner. I need to be saved,

(41:47):
and I'm believing on you to do it. I'm asking
you to do it right now because I believe you're
the only one that quite literally, that's all you have
to do. So all you have to do admit you're
a sinner, admitting you need saving, and admit that you
have the faith that he's real and that he's the

(42:08):
only one who can do it. That is it. You
can do that, Okay, in your car, in your office,
at work, in the shower, if you're sitting on the toilet,
chilling in the swimming pool, okay, wherever, wherever you have
that realization, Okay, whenever that thought dawns on you, that, man,

(42:33):
if I were to die right now, I'm going to
hell first, and then I'm going to get judged and
I'm going to be thrown into the lake of fire,
eternal separation from God, no chance of ever getting out.
At work, that's why it's called, you know, eternal death, okay,

(42:57):
And torment and torture for the rest of eternity. Yeah,
I don't want that. So when that thought hits you,
when it hits you, that is the time. Like I said,
no matter where you are, no matter what you're doing,
go ahead and make that confession, and you better be
serious and sincere about it. And then hey, once you

(43:22):
do that, once you confess to Jesus, then you go
to his Father and be like, okay, God, Okay, Father,
I've already gone to his son. They asked him to
come into my life, wash me clean with his blood,
save me. So now I'm coming to you so you
can send your spirit you're a holy ghost, to dwell

(43:43):
and live inside of me and correctly activate the gifts
that you put in me before I was even born.
Yeah yeah, but we tend to use and use those
spiritual gifts even before we get saved. But that's why
I put the part in their cold directly use them,
because once the holy ghost dwells in you and truly

(44:05):
activates all of that gift in the way it's supposed to,
then man, hey, you you off to the races, as
they say, So y'all go to the Father, send your
holy ghost so it can live in me correctly. Activate
these gifts, and Father, send people to me who have
a kingdom mind and a Kingdom heart, or more specifically,

(44:29):
a Kingdom of Heaven mind and a Kingdom of Heaven
the heart. I don't need to get bogged down with
people trying to pull me to come to their church
or to become part of this denomination or that denomination.
You will find denominations nowhere in God's Bible that that's

(44:49):
part of that man made package of that mess of Christianity. No,
but what you will find in that Bible from beginning
to end is mention of Kingdom, Kingdom of God, Kingdom
of Heaven. So yeah, you want kingdom minded people, God

(45:11):
to bring you within those peoples, bring them within your path,
bring you within their path, Kingdom minded leaders who can
help get you started on this side. And you know again,
so that way one day you'll be off to the races.
So yeah, seeing kingdom minded people in my path God,

(45:34):
and then wrap the whole thing up with Jesus, it's
in your name that I pray and I give thanks Amen,
and amen means it's done. So let it be shoot man.
After you do that, hey go in jump for joy,
clap their hands whatever celebrate why because that is exactly

(45:54):
what God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and all the heavenly
angel will be doing when you do that. And the
reason why they're celebrating is because they know that it
is one more soul spirit person that will not be
thrown into the lake of fire, but will be with

(46:17):
them in heaven for eternal paradise and eternal life. So yep,
they're celebrating. But who is about to throw a fit
is of course Satan. Why because he knows that's one
more now that will not be getting thrown into the

(46:40):
lake of fire with him and the fallen angels for
eternal torture and eternal torment and eternal death. So he
will quite literally be mad as hell, and he's gonna
come at you with everything in his arsenal to either
break you down or until more more so, what he

(47:05):
would like to do is to show you before you
can get out there and start operating in the Kingdom
for God. Mm hmm. Don't let that scary. Don't let
that cause you to shirk back and be like, oh, okay,
wait a minute, do I really wanna talk to these? Yes,

(47:26):
you do, because I'm pretty sure you didn't miss the
part why I said, eternal death, lake of fire, torture
and torment for all eternity. So yeah, you want to
you want to get on the side of God in Jesus.
So like I said, don't let that scare you, because

(47:48):
Satan can do nothing without God's permission anyway. And if
God ain't ready for you, he ain't ready for you
symbol as that. So that's it, people. That is the
petition for those who might need or win it. No, yeah, no,

(48:08):
I'm thinking about it. Yeah, definitely need it. Think about
life from two outlooks, same outlook. I'll look at it
from and many other people temporal and eternal. Temporal means
exactly what it sounds like, temporary, short amount of time,
not long lasting or in other words, okay, the way

(48:31):
we're operating in this thing right here, this flesh bag. Okay, yeah,
that's temporary. Eternal is just the opposite. It means it
transcends our known concept of time and it never stops.
So you want to spend your temporal giving your being

(48:56):
redeemed back to God through the blood of a son Jesus,
and then going about doing whatever it is God created
you to do. In the first place here on this side.
So that way when you transition over to your eternal
you'll be with God. You'll earn your reward for every

(49:16):
thing you had to put up with on the temporal side. Man,
I'm looking forward to I know it's going to be
worth it. So yeah, you know, just a little nugget
I thought I dropped there. So yes, guys, that's all
we got. That is all we got for this week.

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
