Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hello and welcome to the Bragmancia Podcast, where healing isn't
just a buzzword, It's a lifestyle. I'm your host, Charlotte E. Adams, wife, mom, daughter, attorney,
licensed therapist, heart centered hypno therapist, founder of Bromancia Counseling Group,

(00:25):
which is located in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where healing blooms
one soul, one story, one pedal at a time. And
I'm a fellow traveler on this wild, beautiful journey called life.
Every Wednesday, we get real about mental health, emotional wellness,

(00:49):
and the kind of growth that starts from within. Whether
you're deeply invested in personal development or just beginning to
explore what healing means to you, this space is for you.
Here we blend science and soul, therapy and truth telling

(01:11):
because healing should be intentional, rooted and yes, deeply transformational.
So take a deep breath, settle in and join me
each Wednesday as we glow up, grow deep, and gently

(01:32):
let go. Hello and welcome back to the brother Mancia Podcast.
I am your host, Charlotte Adams, just giving you a reminder.
I know I've did it the last two weeks, but
if you have been thinking about it the past two weeks,

(01:52):
but you just have forgotten to go and to jump
on Amazon. Take the time now, just go ahead and
do it. Check out my books The Couple's Healing Path,
The Deep Sacred Union. It's a journal to deepen intimacy,
trust and sacred connection. You definitely need this in your

(02:14):
connect in your library, in your library collection, whether you're
doing well in a relationship or whether you're struggling. This
book just takes it to a different level. It's thirty
days of journaling topics of connections, and it is a
bonus work book that just brings connection to a whole

(02:37):
other level. At the back of the book thirty days
of workbook Activities, thirty days of Journaling. It just stops
the cycle of just our regular conversations and just takes
the relationship to a deeper level. Second book, Beautifully Tying

(02:59):
the Pieces to Together. This is just an awesome book
for children to help them have some techniques and tools
to be able to manage at home. But it's just
an introduction to counseling for youth and very good foundation
to having your children's library. And then my final book,

(03:20):
Harnessing Your Supernatural wellness, which is a guide to creating
your own in home sacred healing garden. All right, so
we're gonna jump into the Charlotte corner. And my message
stems from a woman who had spent years waiting for

(03:41):
quote unquote someday, someday when she'd have enough money, someday
when she would feel happy, someday when everything would finally
line up. One day, her grandmother told her, if you
don't learn to live in the moments between your plans,

(04:03):
life will pass you by. It wasn't until years later,
sitting under the sun and watching her children play, that
she finally understood someday was already here. I'm telling you
this story, Brignancia family, because the message here is don't

(04:27):
wait for life to be perfect before you live it.
The present moment is the only doorway and to joy.
So the title of the podcast today is aligned Yes

(04:48):
when your soul and boundaries agree. As always, Welcome back
to the Brogmancia Podcast. I'm your host, Charlotte Ats. And
in our last episode we explore the medicine of saying no,
the way boundaries protect and heal us. And today we're

(05:09):
shifting into the other side of that wisdom learning how
to say yes, but not just any yes, and unligned yes,
a yes that honors our soul, respects our boundaries, and
leads us closer to the life we are meant to live.

(05:29):
Many of us were conditioned to say yes out of obligation, guilt,
or fear. Not every yes is life giving. Some drain us. However,
and aligned yes feels like expansion, ease, and it resonates
in the body question. When have I said yes from fear?

(05:56):
And when have I said yes from freedom? So let
me give you some signs of an aligned yes. Your
body's gonna feel open and light instead of tight and heavy.
The nervous system rests instead of bracing. There's often a

(06:17):
quiet joy, a deep knowing. Even if fear is present,
alied yes honors both desire and boundary. It doesn't ask
you to betray yourself. Let me get into the barriers
to align yes. Trauma and people pleasing can blur the

(06:43):
line between yes and self abandonment, a scarcity mindset saying
yes because you fear you won't get another chance over responsibility,
feeling like you must to fix, save, or carry others.

(07:05):
I have another question for you, what old stories makes
me afraid to say yes to what I truly want.
Let's pause and practice. Place a hand on your heart

(07:25):
and your adimen. Close your eyes if you can, if
it's safe, Think of something small you want to say
yes to. Maybe a cup of tea or coffee, a nap,
or a walk outside. Notice how your body feels as
you imagine saying yes. Do you feel expansion, warmth, ease.

(07:51):
Now imagine saying yes to something you don't want. Notice
the difference, the contraction, the tension. This is your body
teaching you the difference between a yes of alignment and
a yes of obligation. Every aligned yes is a seed

(08:16):
for the future. It shapes who we become. Aligned yes
doesn't always look logical, but it always feels true. When
your body and your boundaries agree, your yes becomes a
doorway to freedom. Family, What is one aligned yes that

(08:42):
you are ready to say in your life? Right now?
I leave you with this beautiful closing. May your yes
be sacred, May it rise from a place of truth
and not fear. May every yes you choose honor your

(09:06):
soul and protect your peace. And may you're aligned yes
lead you closer to joy, freedom and abundance. As always,
thank you, thank you, thank you for tuning in each Wednesday.
I am honored to share this moment with you. Please

(09:30):
go on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, like us, like her Nancy
of Podcast. If you have any comments, or if you
feel that anyone needs to hear this, please share it.
And as always, I am truly grateful and I look
forward to being with you all again next week. Say
