Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hello, and welcome to the Brogmancia Podcast, where healing isn't
just a buzzword, It's a lifestyle. I'm your host, Charlotte E. Adams, wife, mom, daughter, attorney,
licensed therapist, heart centered hypno therapist, founder of Brogmancia Counseling Group,

(00:25):
which is located in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where healing blooms
one soul, one story, one pedal at a time. And
I'm a fellow traveler on this wild, beautiful journey called life.
Every Wednesday, we get real about mental health, emotional wellness,

(00:49):
and the kind of growth that starts from within. Whether
you're deeply invested in personal development or just beginning to
explore what healing means to to you, this space is
for you. Here we blend science and soul, therapy and

(01:09):
truth telling because healing should be intentional, rooted, and yes,
deeply transformational. So take a deep breath, settle in and
join me each Wednesday as we glow up, grow deep,

(01:30):
and gently let go. Hello, Bregmancy, and welcome back to
the Brigmancia Podcast. I am still here Charlotte Adams, the host,
and want to just check back in letting you all
know exciting news about my books. They are all officially

(01:54):
on Amazon. There's three of them. Couple's Healing Path to
Deep Sacred, which is a journal to deepening your relationships,
whether they are in a not so good plays or
if they are in a beautiful place. It's gonna help
deepen intimacy, trust, and sacred connection. My other book, Beautifully

(02:18):
Tying the Pieces Together, is an introduction to Counseling for youth.
Absolutely beautiful book for parents and their children. Counselors have
been using them in their sessions as well, so definitely
you know if you are ready to teach some grounding

(02:39):
therapeutic tools to your children, it lays a beautiful foundation
to begin that process. And then finally, Harnessing your supernatural
wellness is a guide to creating your own in home
Sacred Healing Garden. Truly a very beautiful ground book to

(03:01):
begin the steps towards self care. Alrighty, so let's move
on into the Charlotte Corner, and I'm gonna title this
Charlotte Corner. I can't listen. So someone once told me

(03:22):
that they couldn't listen to my podcast because that's what
they wanted. And at first, those words stung. I felt
a way of sadness like my voice. What I was
doing here, you know, really wasn't welcome in their ears,

(03:43):
and I wondered, well, you know, am I too much?
Or is my message to confronting or not right? But
as I sat with it, I realized what they were
really saying is when I hear your words, I feel

(04:05):
the gap between where I am and where I want
to be, and that gap hurts. Their honesty showed me
something profound. Sometimes the medicine we need the most is
also the hardest to receive. It's not rejection, it's resonance

(04:31):
that feels wrong. I learned that day not to shrink
my light to make it easier for others to face
their shadows. If my podcast reminds someone of what they
deeply desire, then I am holding up a mirror to

(04:52):
their longing and longing. When we honor it is the
first step to try transformation. So listen here. When you
find yourself avoiding the very thing that calls to your soul,
ask what part of me is afraid to step toward

(05:14):
what I want? Avoidance often means you are standing at
the threshold of your deepest growth. All right, so again,
I am Charlotte Adams. This is Brook Nancy a podcast
and the title for today's podcast is Leaning into the Flow,

(05:35):
Trusting life after control. So in our last conversations we
explore the medicine of saying no and the power of
an unligned yes. But what happens after that? What happens
when we've clear space with our know and opened with

(05:58):
our yes. The next invitation is this, listen close to
you all, to lean into the flow of life, to trust,
even after seasons were controlled, or even where control felt

(06:19):
like the only way to survive. Control often comes from
trauma and fear. It gives us a sense of safety
when life felt unpredictable. We try to control relationships, outcomes,
even our own healing process. I have a question for

(06:41):
you all, where in your life did you first learn
that control equal safety? Share that while control can protect,
it also keeps us tight, rigid, and disconnected from flow.

(07:02):
Flow is not passivity, it's partnership with life. Flow is
saying I'll do my part and I'll allow life to
do its part. Flow requires trust in timing, trust in self,
trust in the unseen. It's like swimming upstream, exhausting, yourself

(07:31):
when if you turn, the current is already carrying you
toward where you need it to be. Control often manifests
as anxiety or hypervigilance or perfectionism. It can block abundance, creativity,
intimacy because flow cannot enter where fear locks the door.

(07:56):
Let me say that one more time. Flow cannot enter
where fear locks the door. Bring Nancy a family. I
have another question for you. What is your control costing you?

(08:19):
Let's practice together. If it's safe, close your eyes. Imagine
you're holding something tightly in your hands. It represents whatever
you've been trying to control, maybe your relationship, a decision,
or even you're healing. Now, take a deep breath in

(08:40):
and on the ex hell gently open your hands, see
it resting in your palms, no longer clenched, and say
softly to yourself, I trust the timing of my life.
I release what is not mine to hold. Feel into

(09:02):
the spaciousness that comes when your grip loosens. Flow is
not about doing nothing, It's about doing from alignment, not fear.
Signs of flow are synchronicities, peace in the body, unexpected openings.

(09:25):
Trusting life doesn't mean everything is easy, but it means
we stop fighting. What is Here's another question, where in
your life can you lean into trust instead of control?
Bring Nancia family. May you remember that control is not

(09:50):
your safety, presence is. May you soften into the river
of your own becoming. May you trust the unseen currents
that are already guiding you, and may leaning into flow
bring you the peace your soul has always known. Thank you,

(10:17):
Thank you for tuning in. As always, please go on
our social media and like us on this podcast, subscribe
and like it, and continue to check in with one another,

(10:40):
and begin to allow yourself to lean into flow. Thank you.
