Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hello, and welcome to the Brogmancia Podcast, where healing isn't
just a buzzword, It's a lifestyle. I'm your host, Charlotte E. Adams, wife, mom, daughter, attorney,
licensed therapist, heart centered hypno therapist, founder of Brogmancia Counseling Group,

(00:25):
which is located in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where healing blooms
one soul, one story, one pedal at a time. And
I'm a fellow traveler on this wild, beautiful journey called life.
Every Wednesday, we get real about mental health, emotional wellness,

(00:49):
and the kind of growth that starts from within. Whether
you're deeply invested in personal development or just beginning to
explore what healing means to you, this space is for you.
Here we blend science and soul, therapy and truth telling

(01:11):
because healing should be intentional, rooted and yes, deeply transformational.
So take a deep breath, settle in and join me
each Wednesday as we glow up, grow deep, and gently

(01:32):
let go. Hello, Bregmancia family, and welcome back to the
Bregnancia Podcast. I am your host, Charla Adams. A couple
of quick announcements. Don't forget about my books. That are
on Amazon now. The three books are A Couple's Healing

(02:15):
your minds that this is the last month for season

back to podcasts, growth, learning and healing. So thank you

(02:38):
all so much for your support. And so now that
we have gotten that out the way, let's walk on
over to the Charlotte Corner and today the message is
as the days grow shorter and the nights longer, remember
that darkness is not the enemy, it is the womb

(02:59):
of transfer. Instead of fearing the shadow, sit with them,
listen and ask what wisdom lives here for me? All right?
So the title for today's brick mancy A podcast is
burn this book. After listening again, everyone, welcome back to

(03:21):
breck manci a podcast and this episode which is called
burn this book. After listening, let me explain this is
not about destruction, but about liberation. Think of all the truths,
the secrets, the hurts, the desires you've never let yourself speak.

(03:45):
They live like unwritten chapters inside of you. And sometimes
the most healing thing we can do is write those
forbidden words down and then release them through fire, through
letting go, through burning what no longer serves in a

(04:06):
safe way. So today will explore the sacred practice of release,
the medicine of writing without censor, and the procedure of
burning as transformation. Every person carries stories they've never told. Fear, shame, loyalty,

(04:32):
or conditioning often keeps us silent. A metaphor for this
is it's like holding a lot diary in your chest.
The word scratch to get out, but you keep the
key hidden. Here's a question for you. If you could
write something that no one would ever read, what would

(04:55):
it be. Fire is both destruction and rebirth. It clears
space and transforms into energy. Burning a page does not
erase the truth, it transmutes it. For the nervous system,
the act of burning creates closure, a physical signal that

(05:18):
it is safe to let go. An example of this
is when we burn, we're telling ourselves this story no
longer owns me. Bind your pages, use loose paper, a notebook,
or scraps. This isn't about beauty. It's about honesty. And

(05:39):
write uncensored. Let it be messy, angry, raw, Write the
things you've never published, the things you'll never post, the
things only your soul knows. No editing. Don't worry about
grammar or flow. This is about truth, not perfection or
being polished. And pour it out. Write until you feel emptied,

(06:04):
until your body size. Here's another question for you. What
do you need to say that you cannot keep caring anymore?
Close your eyes if it's safe, Take a deep breath
in and exhale slowly. Imagine a blank page before you.

(06:29):
At the top, write the words this is what I
cannot keep inside anymore. Let that first memory, the first truth,
the first unspoken word, rise, See yourself writing it on
the page, line after line. Let it pour out, and
when you're done, see yourself holding that page in your hands,
whisper to it. Thank you for serving me. I release

(06:53):
you now. So if you're just desiring to move forward.
Tips for a safe procedure of release as it relates
to burning is make sure you have a fire safe bowl,
go outdoors and a fire pit, or you know, with caution,

(07:15):
maybe using a candle, and hold that page, breathe deeply,
then light it. Watch the flames carry the words into
smoke and ash, and as it burns, repeat, I release
this story. I am free. If you desire, you can

(07:35):
scatter the ashes in the dirt or soil or water
as an act of returning that energy back to the earth,
all the crap, giving it back as fertilizer into the earth.
Here's some insight here. Burning the book is not about
erasing your truth. It's about declaring that it no longer

(08:00):
or controls you. Brugmancs. Sometimes the most sacred book is
the one you never keep, the one you write only
to burn, the one that carries your forbidden words, you're
hidden truths, your shadows, and then transforms them into light.
As you finish this episode, I invite you to take

(08:24):
some time this week write your pages, and if you desire,
burn them in a safe way, and notice what shifts
in your body, your mind, your spirit when you finally
let it go. Thank you for trusting me with this beautiful,
sacred journey. Today, please go on social media like us,

(08:47):
subscribe to Briga Nancia podcast, Share this with the friend
if they need it, and, as always, until next time,
may your pages bring you freedom, may your fire bring
you peace, and may your story become the light that

(09:08):
guides you forward. Take care,
