Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hello and welcome to the Brogmancia Podcast, where healing isn't
just a buzzword, It's a lifestyle. I'm your host, Charlotte E. Adams, wife, mom, daughter, attorney,
licensed therapist, heart centered hypno therapist, founder of Bromancia Counseling Group,

(00:25):
which is located in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where healing blooms
one soul, one story, one pedal at a time. And
I'm a fellow traveler on this wild, beautiful journey called life.
Every Wednesday, we get real about mental health, emotional wellness,

(00:49):
and the kind of growth that starts from within. Whether
you're deeply invested in personal development or just beginning to
explore what healing means to you, this space is for you.
Here we blend science and soul, therapy and truth telling

(01:11):
because healing should be intentional, rooted and yes, deeply transformational.
So take a deep breath, settle in, and join me
each Wednesday as we glow up, grow deep, and gently

(01:32):
let go. Hello Brogmancy, I am Charlotte Adams. Welcome back
to the Brogmancia Podcast. So grateful for you, so happy
to be here and in the Charlotte corner today, the

(01:52):
message is when everything falls apart, the soul finds what
is indestructible. Collapse is not the end, it's the sacred beginning.
All right. I am so excited about this episode. The

(02:13):
title of this episode is life changing Truths people never disclose.
I've given out secrets, y'all? All right again, welcome back
to the Bergmancia podcast, The Sacred Place where we speak
the truth that heal even when they're hard to hold.

(02:40):
All Right, Today's episode it's tender, it's raw, but it's necessary,
and we're gonna talk about life changing truths that people
rarely talk about but absolutely need to hear. And these
aren't necessarily secrets per se, because people are hiding them

(03:02):
out of shame. Often they've hitting them because they're too
busy trying to survive. But speaking these truths out loud
can change everything. It's a game changer. So let's begin

(03:23):
the first one. I'm exhausted from being strong. There comes
a point where the armor gets heavy. The people we
call resilient are often the most emotionally neglected, expected to
carry everyone else without ever being asked if they're okay.

(03:45):
If this is you, I want you to know that
rest is not a reward, it's your right. You don't
have to earn softness. You are allowed to be held. Two.
I don't know who I am without the trauma. When

(04:10):
your identity was shaped by pain, abandonment, illness, rejection, you
might fear who you'll be if you heal. It's okay
to greet the version of you that survived. Healing is
an eraser, it's evolution. Try this healing mantra. I honor

(04:34):
who I became to survive, I allow myself to become
someone new to thrive. Three. Sometimes I don't want to
be here. This is a truth. Many many many caring
in silence. It doesn't always mean someone wants to die.

(04:59):
It means they're try they're trying, and they're tired of hurting,
of performing, of holding everything together with invisible tape. To you,
I say, your pain makes sense, your overwhelm is valid,

(05:21):
and you are not broken. You're human. Please, please, please,
please reach out. You don't have to heal in isolation.
For I envy the people I love. Jealousy doesn't make

(05:44):
you ungrateful, it makes you honest. Maybe someone you love
got the opportunity, the relationship or the peace you're still
praying for That doesn't mean you're not happy for them.
It just means you're hurting for you, and both can coexist.

(06:06):
Instead of shame, try this, What is this envy showing
me about my own desire? Five? I thought I'll be
further by now. This is the heartbreak of quiet comparison

(06:29):
of feeling behind, of watching younger people thrive while you
rebuild from scratch. But timelines are social constructs, and deep
growth is often invisible. You're not late, You're on time
for your life. A reminder for you. Some seeds take

(06:53):
years to bloom underground. That doesn't mean they're dead, it
means they're deep. Six. I'm terrified of actually getting what
I prayed for. Here's a paradox. No one talks about.

(07:14):
The closer you get to what you want, the more
you might self sabotage. Why Because receiving abundance, love peace,
it requires letting go of your own identity, your old identity.
Sometimes we're more comfortable longing than living. Try whispering this

(07:40):
to your nervous system. It's safe to receive. I don't
have to be in pain to be in purpose. These
truths may be quiet, but They're not rare. You are

(08:03):
not the only one holding them, you are not alone,
and speaking them without shame is the beginning of your freedom.
If this episode stirred something in you, I want to
invite you to pause, to put your hand over your
heart and remind yourself I am still here and this

(08:28):
is sacred. Thank you Brognancies for tuning in this week,
and I know that I will see you next Wednesday,
where we keep blooming beyond the silence. And until next time,

(08:49):
please like and subscribe, and as always, take care of
yourself and each other.
