five Pumpkin Bonus Edition. I don't know where you're gonna
get this, you guys know, I've been recording forward on
podcast for some time now, but today I want to
talk about a documentary that's on Netflix that I had

seen I haven't seen. Excuse me. It's not that i'd
seen it. I had seen that it was available, but
I never had a chance to watch it. And today
I was like, let me watch this shit. It's called Jailbreak,
Love on the Run. It is the Vicki White and
Casey White story. I mean, it's a really vicky story.
But it's, like I said's on Netflix. It was there

in twenty twenty three or twenty twenty four, so it's
fairly new. So let me just get into this. We
start with here in jail house phone calls which are recorded. Guys,
anytime you make a phone call from a place of incarceration,
assume that it is recorded, even if you are just
being held and not necessarily arrested. If you are using

a phone provided to you in a law enforcement building,
assume that it is recorded. I'm not saying that all
the office calls are recorded. I'm not saying the payphone.
Do payphones even exist? Who knows? I'm not saying that.
I would assume it was recorded. If you've been arrested
and you're calling home to tell your mama please come

get you, you don't need to tell her anything other
than that you have been arrested and you are not guilty,
say aloud, say it proud, not guilty, and ask her
to come get you. Anything you say, well, you can
assume to be recorded. The recordings we are hearing. This

is why we're hearing these recordings, So they were recorded.
It's Casey calling VICKI, and it sounds like they in love.
It sounds like long distance lovers. You know, you call
at a certain time and you're like, oh, you just

of operations for seventeen years at a prison in Lauderdale
County in Alabama. I want to say this, there are
a lot of easy jokes about Alabama. I don't make
any of those, and I don't find people who make
them funny, right, people talking about rednecks and whether or

not people are married to their sister, like, come on,
do better. I feel the same way I do about
that sort of those sort of jokes as I do
about white people can't cook like they know ucs name there.
That's an easy, lazy, fucking joke. And is it even true, right?
I don't know any white people who don't use seasoning

in there and they're cooking. I know people are gonna
write me. They're gonna like I do, girl, that's you.
I don't get away from them people. And unseasoned pork
chop will kill you, Okay, that you. That's why the
Bible says that you shouldn't eat pork because it was
it was written a long time ago by some dudes
who did not hear about zatarin seasoning. They didn't know.

They didn't know that you could have a nice blend

he's got an iPhone now, it's fucking purple. It's a
light lavender purple. He doesn't care. Anyway, I took that
pink iPhone and he took my Galaxy whatever I had,
And that's how I became an iPhone user. Anyway, I
don't think that shit is funny, and I don't think

the reason you have green bubbles because Apple put it
on your phone. That's why Apple did it to your own.
It's not the other user's fault. And two, it's a
lazy it's lazy. And so when I hear redneck and
bread and hillbilly jokes and all these people were in Alabama,

of jokes about people's teeth and shit, Yeah, didn't they

and I'll tell you what, I will feel very fucking
comfortable in Alabama. Do I want to stay in Alabama? No,
I don't want to live in Alabama. But if I
had to be in Alabama for a short amount of time,
I would feel very good. I would feel fine. I
would feel comfortable. And I bet you, I bet you
I get a hell of a piece of fried catfish.
I bet you, with a little white bread and some
hot sauce, I would feel fine there. So if that's

the type of jokes that you want to make about
the people in this documentary, not with me. I think
less of you, and I don't think that this shit's funny.
So anyway, they're in Alabama, she's the director assistant of
director operations for this prison for seventeen years. She's in
charge of the day to day operations of the facility. Remember,
the operations director doesn't do It's like a principal and

an assistant principal. Sure, the principle does shit, but the
assistant principal is the one you gotta go talk to
when the shit happens. She's in charge of the operations
of the facility. She's working fifty sixty hours a week.
She's there on the weekends. She is you know how
like you'll be working someplace and something terrible will happen,
not even terrible, but just like the computers will go down,
and you gotta call a lady. A lady who's in charge.

(07:46):
Usually she's that lady. She's the one that takes phone
calls on Christmas when the hot water heater goes out,
that's her. She was pretty much in charge. A lot
of staff and inmates thought she was wonderful. Let me
describe her. She's an older lady. I don't know how
old she is, but she's an older lady. I would
say she looks like she's in her forties. I'm not

good at people's ages late forties. I don't know. She
has platinum dyed like white dyed blonde hair. Later she
refers to herself as not being pretty, and she's right,
she is not traditionally pretty. I think you can find

(08:29):
beauty in almost anybody, just about anybody. But in terms
of she, is she very attractive? Is she if she
put her picture on tender, is she getting a lot
of a lot of traffic? Probably not? Okay, so, but
everybody really likes her. She treated the inmates like humans,

(08:49):
which is very which is not the norm if you
work in the prison system, even if you walk in
there being like I'm not going to be a dick it.
Go watch some Go watch some Oranges of New Black.
It like, especially the season they focused on the on
the CEOs. Not that I like that season because the
season after Pousse died and I love Pousse. I love her.

In fact, I want to talk about I want to
say this something back. When I talk about documentaries, people
Got can people got people got murder, people got taken
in all those other things, I always think to myself,
could this have been me? Right? Could I gotten taken
by this? And I never want you to think that
I think I'm too smart to be taken, because that's
not true. There's just certain things I couldn't fall for.

And this I will never do anything like this for man,
I just want to. I just wouldn't. So I just wouldn't.
And I've been in so many bad relationships with junior
gang members and budding criminals that I know how people
act when they get in prison, and they are in
love with you when they get in prison, you know

what I'm saying, Because why because they need somebody to
put money in their books to come visit them. So
there's no way I could fall for this. Not certainly,
not for old boy Okay, Casey White, certainly not for him.
In fact, he gives me danger, danger, danger, And I'll
talk to you about why. But I will say this,

under the right conditions, you might get me in a
jail house relationship. And the conditions have to be pose
from or just new black. Because what her name is,
Samirah Wiley, I think your name is. That is a
beautiful woman, especially on the show. I think she's got

(10:40):
hair now and I don't like that too much, but
she's bald. On the show, she's got the smiliest eyes.
When she smiles, they look like upside down smiles. That
character I was in love with. I love Phouse. And
if I somehow were doing some volunt tier work at

(11:00):
the prison or working at the why would I be
working in the prison. I must not have any other
place to work. I'm not down to people who work
in prisons, you guys know, especially these I think this
is a public prison, but especially these private prisons. They
put them in rural areas where jobs are not is forthcoming.

(11:22):
Their jobs are limited, and they pay better than local jobs.
And if I had to feed my kids, I guess
I would work at the prison. But if I had
other options, I wouldn't because I just don't want to
be a part of that. But let's say I was volunteering.
I have done volunteer at like juvenile prisons, and so

(11:43):
let's say I was doing volunteer work at the prison
and I ran to Pousse. It is possible that me
and Pousse would start writing letters and I would be
her boo until she got out, and then I would
help her reigrate in society. That's a possibility, but only
for poose, say certainly out of case to why I

can't I can't think of a man alive that I
would do that for. But she drew to inmates like humans,
and that's not the usual how people talk about inmates.
Although listen some of the inmates interview to talk highly
of her. One of them was a former CEO Correctional

(12:27):
Office turned inmate, and he feared for his life in
there because he's POPO in there, right, even though he
technically wasn't the police. He was, And I mean they
call CEO's police around there. I know, you guys know
my biological falla has been in prison for fucking four decades.
That's how he referred they are police, but you know,

(12:50):
police going to prison aren't usually safe. And he talks
about how he and how much he cared for Vicking,
how how wonderful she was to him, and I don't
know that's because they were alike, you know. But there's
also a Latino inmate that also says the same thing,
that he's been through, like a really rough life and stuff,
and that Vicky was one of the nicest people to
him while he was locked up there. They mentioned that

(13:17):
she was married very young, but that guy got into
drugs and they had to end that relationship. She was
very in love with him. She was also engaged to
a man who died. I thought it was in a
car accident, but other people were saying that she nursed
him the health. I'm not sure, but she was gaged
to a man who died, and that she spent a
lot of time alone with her dog drinking. She didn't
have any children, but she was very motherly to the

(13:38):
people that she worked with and the inmates in there.
And I want to remind you of something that you
should be thinking of. That if you were thinking about
whether or not to have children, and you were worried
that if you don't have children, you will not have
a space for your motherly energy, this is untrue. Okay,
you could quite possibly. There are all kinds of ways

(13:59):
to use mother energy. Mentorship is one way there is.
There are ways to care for the people around you
that expend that energy. You'd she this is the very
motherly woman, even though she doesn't have children. And I
think that the way they're telling us is that because
it's a shame she didn't have any children, maybe it
was to her. I don't know, we spoil alert, but

(14:22):
you did, but she but maybe it wasn't. She got
a lot of motherly energy out on the inmates and
the peep the staff at that prison. That prison was
her baby, and so were the people in it. Now
let's talk about Casey White. Casey White was when he
met Vicki White. I guess the names are coincidence. They

(14:45):
he was serving seventy five years for murdering some other things.
I have some questions because the way he told this
was confusing to me. So he's I'll tell you why.
He's got the seventy five years. But he's got seventy
five years, and he's currently in another county next next

(15:06):
door to Lauderdale County, and he's been moved to Lauderdale
County Prison because he is facing charges of murder again
for an unsolved murder that he admitted to, and so
he's got a case with that as well, So he's
over there for that reason. I want to describe him.
He's a biggin that's what he is. He's a very

(15:26):
large white man. He is six y nine, three hundred pounds.
We see a lot of footage of him, a lot
of munk shots, but a lot of footage of him
walking around the prison and I'm gonna and people like
escorting him the sales and stuff. And I asked myself,
when I feel comfortable, uh, escorting this man anywhere? And
then answ would be no, because if that man didn't

(15:48):
want to go, I don't know how you're making him.
He's three hundred pounds, he's six', nine AND i think
he could probably overpower a lot of fucking. People, Okay
and based on a lot of what we hear about his,
crimes he is an a erratic. Person he's admitting to. Murders.
Now they say he's in prison for seventy five years

(16:09):
for a murder and other. Charges But, mike the, sheriff
explains the night that he got arrested for those, charges
AND i was, CONFUSED i was. Explaining in twenty, fifteen
he shot his girlfriend and killed her. Dog they don't
tell us whether that lady died or if he just shot.

(16:30):
Her MAYBE i missed. It there's another girlfriend that killed
herself in or died by suicide which is the correct
term to, use died by suicide in two thousand and,
eight but they're not sure he didn't kill her. Either

(16:51):
but in twenty, fifteen he has shot a woman his
girlfriend and then killed her. Dog we don't hear anything
else about, her So i'm assuming this is a, murder
BUT i don't. Know he then went next door to
the neighbor's house and carjacked the. Neighbor part of the
Reason i'm confused is the Way mike the sheriff tells
this story is, like it's a funny, story but it.

Starts if this is a, MURDER i mean either, way
it's not fucking. Funny it starts him shooting a. Lady but,
anyway that's What i'm just. Confused AND i tried to google,
it BUT i kept getting other stuff that he. Did
so he carjacks the neighbor with the. Gun he drives
to a rest area to switch cars from, there and

a man and a woman are in a car and they're.
Leaving he tries to get them to. Stop they don't.
Stop thank, god they gotta lick a. Sense they don't.
Stop he gets upset by that and shoots out the
back windows of their, car shoots that lady in the. Arm,
okay all. Right so he ends up in a gas
station where he's gonna car jacks and he's gotta switch.
Cars he's car because that car is gonna be reported.
Stolen the car for the neighbors gonna be reported stolen, immediately,

(17:54):
right what's the first you're gonna do when that motherfucker?
Leaves call nine on one and report your car that
she just got. Carjacked but he's going to the gas.
Station you get another. Car he does a car jacking
there that. Guy as he's, DRIVING i was, like at
least leave me my. Phone casey, revs back, up reverses
and throws his phone at. HIM i thought they were
gonna say he shot that, man but he. Didn't he
throws the phone him and he, goes what's that man

(18:16):
doing to the phone obviously report his fucking vehicle stolen
and the. Cops eventually the cops catch on The casey
driving around in his stolen. CAR a chase. Ensues he
ends up crashing out kind of inn a ditch like
kind of further away from the from like the highway
or the street or. Wherever so he's there and he's

(18:38):
crashed out and there's nowhere for him to. Go the
cops had their guns on. Him he's got two guns
on his. Head he's got a gun on each temple
And it's, like where's the. Sheriff call the. Sheriff i'm
assuming That's, Mike mike the. Sheriff we see this little
old man that's telling this. Story mike gets out, there he.
Says casey yells The, mike tell me my. MAMA i love,

(19:00):
her And mike's, like nobody's gonna die to. Night casey
throw them guns. Down mike throws the guns, Down, well
he doesn't throw case doesn't throw the guns. Down casey's
still screaming and threatening to kill. Himself AND i don't,
know why are you? Threatening why are you threatening to
shoot yourself to the. Cops they want to shoot. You
like IF i was a cop AND i Was i'd be, like,

(19:23):
WELL i, MEAN i don't care like you. Do think they.
Care maybe it's a lot of, Paperwork i'm not, sure
but or Maybe mike knows. HIM i Mean. MIKE i Think.
Mike he's been arrested quite a, bit AND i Think
mike knows him from. That and Finally casey asks for
a sun. Drop what's a sun? Drop it's like mountain
dew From. Alabama it's SOMETHING i wouldn't. Drink it looked like.

Piss it looked like piss from somebody who's. Sick that's
what it looks like. Personally IF i was had two
guns to my head and was threatened to kill myself
in front of some people who don't care IF i live
or die. Anyway but IF i was doing, THAT i
ask for a diet black cherry, cream Doctor, pepper because

mean we're gonna, drink so let's. Drink let's drink something

Does but they get him a sun drop and he,
surrenders and, uh this is where he gets seventy five
years sentence. From so that was a, murder, Right they

don't talk about like as a, murder and min tell

Me so when they get to A lauderdale prison, center
he should be, isolated he's that level of, offender and
but they don't have the. Availability it's over, crowded so
they put him in THE a one, cell which is
a place that you go for specialty prisoners like, uh

just you need they need to be watched. More and
like it's just it's an ape man cell and at one,
time like sixteen people in. There it was very. Overcrowded
but it's Also vicky's special, Cell like she has a
sign on it that you have to ask permission to
put people in. There she only PUT vicki decides who
goes in that. Cell and they tell a story the.
INMATES a lot the inmates we are being that are

being interviewed were in this cell with. Him they tell
a story about someone bringing meth into the. Prison they
got arrested and had meth inside them inside them. Where guess,
yes my my, husband uh works at a. FACTORY i
don't need to tell you what kind of factory where
the factory is because y'all don't need y'all trying to
get in fight. It he works at a factory where
they use prison labor and as the also the assistant

director of, operations he his boss and sometimes other people
will go pick up. Prisoners and when his boss or
those other people are all, out he has to go
pick up the. PRISONERS i don't like, that but, okay
they're on work, release all, right so they get paid
for being, there and if they don't do what they're

supposed to, do the prison will just come pick them,
up and that will also add time to their, sentence
because it's like. CONSIDERED i don't. Know and so when
he told me, THAT i was, like, Okay LIKE i
don't want to add time to nobody's. SENTENCE i don'tt
to be involved in. THAT i, mean, listen some things you,
do you gotta be you gotta get time out to

see your. Sentence BUT i don't want to be the
catalyst for. THAT i don't even want to be involved in.
That but Mister, curtis there's one dude who always had a.
Phone and you're not supposed to have a, phone you're a.
Prisoner and, also not only are you not supposed to
have a, phone you're on your. Phone you're supposed to be.
WORKING i have to take you back to the prison.

said don't ask him for that. PHONE i wouldn't even

why cause you know that's got poop on it And he's,

do you think you gets the phone in out of the?
Prison do the? Poop? Shoot, okay don't touch. It it's,
nasty don't do. It Mister curtis finally told me maybe
two months. Ago. Ms curtsionen working at this place for

over a. Year, yeah over a year he made. Already
he told me the other week that that man was
not Putting ipho eight in his butt every, night and
that somebody who knew him would pass the phone and
leave it in the locker for him with the rest

of his like his, uniform that he would have to worry.
It they have to change the uniform they got. There
these are very low risk BECAUSE i mean the supervisors
at this factory are not. Wardens like these are people
that are gonna be released like in a few, months
right if they decide to walk off of this, job
they just do like, like that's not mister Curtis is
or anybody else's job to keep them from doing. That

they are supposed to report if they're working or if
they're doing stuff they're not supposed to be. Doing so
he got the phone from, somebody like dropping the phone
off to him while he was, working and then he
just left it in his locker and that's how he
got to use the phone when he was. Out and

up at LEAST i used to when it was. Good

very charming, guy lots of. Charm, Okay casey not, sober
paranois fuck the A fraser stealing from. Him they thought he.
Was they thought they were gonna have to die up
in that bitch cause he was going off AND i
just wanna like he was. Scary. OKAY i would never

feel safe in the presence Of Casey, white even if
he wasn't in. Prison even if IF i was at
a gas station in Case, white this big ass white,
man uh listening to one of his favorite songs is

listening to that next to. ME i would go to
a different gas station BECAUSE i don't THINK i can

WHY i need to get into a gym somewhere and

Criminal the nurse was told not to be alone with,
him and she and immediately he needs to go to.
Medical most people had to go to medical anyway when
they first get there because they're either detoxing or like something.
Similar and she said when he met he was very,
polite he was. Charismatic he called her miss so and,
so and she, said, yeah they would. Have she would

have definitely hung out with him if he wasn't in fucking. Prison.
Uh another, woman another Like, coo a woman said that
she was putting him away one day back in the.
Sound he, said Miss, renee it's been five long years
SINCE i hugged a. Woman CAN i get a? Hug

and she said hell to the, no, no, no which
is what she's supposed to. Say, guys just so you
know it is illegal for, you as a PRISON ceo
or any other, staff any other member of the prison
system employed the prison, system to have a relationship with an. Inmate,

now what does relationship? Mean if you guys start writing
letters or, whatever it's frowned, upon you're probably gonna lose your,
job but you're not going to. Jail that lady who
was gonna tell oh my, god it feels like forever
ago that lady did that TikTok about how she was
uh some boys therapists or counselor and juvenile detention and

how they're married now and she's dancing and telling the,
story And i'm, like you dancing like you don't belong
in fucking. Jail you dancing like not only was that
a child, when but also you don't have no business
having no fucking relationship with that. Boy he's. Incarcerated two
reasons you can't have a relationship with. Him he's, incarcerated
or you are working as a member of the prison.

System and, two he's a. CHILD i don't care if
he was sixteen or. Seventeen that's a fucking. Child and
you were old enough to be working on the prison sism,
anyway if you have sex with like writing letters inappropriate,
unprofessional get, fired, right probably doing anything like bringing in
drugs or things for them like a happy meals and,

rules might even and some of that shit is, illegal
so you might get arrested for. That but having sex
with a prisoner is a. Felony and the reason is
that a prisoner cannot consent to have sex with, you
the person holding them. Prison they cannot consent to. It

this is to protect prisoners who have been sexually abused
in the system and people don't believe. Them and also
it wasn't always against the. Law and SO i know
that when we talk about female prisoners and we talk
about a male guard having a sexual relationship with, them

we can all understand the power dynamics and we can
all understand why this is wrong and what can happen.
There when we talk about male, inmates it's much harder
for people to understand. That and this documentary does a
lot of things. Wrong, well what they don't talk about
is the power and balance Between vicky And. Casey they

talk About casey this big ass. Criminal, okay that has been,
violent and it's not always that they talk about. Him
mike he seduced, her which he maybe he. DID i
listening to the. Calls who fucking, Knows, okay but there
