Lee Jenning's A Funeral Portrait joined Labmar Knights on April
fifteen and dove into his friendship with Five Finger Death
Punches Ivan Moody and how that friendship led to their
collaboration on Holy Walter Jennings figured the feature of Holy
Water wouldn't happen because schedule conflicts, but after their tour
Five Finger Death Punch wrapped up, Moody reached out to
the front man came.

Speaker 3 (00:23):
To me, you know, he came to me, and that's
kind of where the conversation of the song because originally
our label wanted us to do the song before that
tour came out, and that's when we had a pivot
and we went with suff K City featuring Spencer first
because that was supposed to come second. That was supposed
to be what's happening now, but they decided to do
since Ivan. It's just wild to me that like he

(00:47):
he was just kind of like, oh, like, you know,
I'll do it if I have time, and he didn't
have time because they had just gone from Europe right
to the US tour. So it was just like, okay, well,
it's not gonna happen. And then I was like, okay, well,
I kind of like Chip Sale, nothing's gonna happen. And
then like the tour ended and he was like, yo,
like you want me still on that song? Like after
hearing it every single night on tour, like I feel

(01:07):
like we would crush. And then I literally I literally
one day got a literal voicemail from him and it
was like, hey, man, like I heard the song on
the radio on my drive to go like work on
new music. Do you want me to like track vocals
for it and we can like fore do it? And
it's just like okay, I guess so. And then and
then I like get to call our A and R
and was like hey, so uh. I even said he

(01:29):
wants to do it out if there's still room, and
everybody's like, oh my god, yeah of course. And then
it's just like and now it's been a whole thing.
