The new group of inductees for the Rock and Roll
Hall of Fame has been announced. The news broke out
during the broadcast of American Idol, and it doesn't come
without some controversy. The winner of the fan voting Fish
didn't make the cut, neither did other popular choices like
Mari Carry or Billy Idol. Thirteen new members were chosen
the seven inductees that its voters selected from the twenty
twenty five ballots on Sunday night, along with six more

musicians or executives who were directly selected by the Halls
Board for induction. Your Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
class of twenty twenty five is Cindy Lauper, The White Stripes,
Chubby Checker, Outcast, Bad Company, Soundgarden, and Joe Cocker. The
induction will take place at the Peacock Theater in Los
Angeles on November eighth.
