Speaker 1 (00:02):
New Year, Say me Chaos running Everything. It's me Chopsy.
You are listening to the Caffine Fueled Creative Podcast. Hello,
(00:22):
it's me Chopsy, and welcome to the Captain Fueled Creative
Podcast where I sit down with my fellow creative friends,
drink some coffee, and chat about creative endeavors in this
chaotic thing we call life. Well, guys, this is the
first new episode in a long time. It's been over
a year at this point. I have no guests for
(00:43):
this episode, but I will on the next one because
I've been talking to a lot of people about it.
My plans for this year, just to get us started,
is to really try and use this podcast to talk
to people and you know, maybe help inspire some people
in their daily lives. As far as getting there are
(01:05):
projects done this year. I am working on doing more
sketch cards because I would really like to get those
out there and maybe get some attention on doing the
sketch cards. I'm currently working on a game associated with
my moss Idaho stuff. I've started a new band. I
(01:26):
haven't gotten very far with it yet, but we are working,
or at least I'm working on writing to get some
music done. For this band, and because of the way
things are panning out this year, probably not going to
be doing a whole lot of tabling as far as events.
(01:46):
So honestly, you're not going to see much of me.
You'll hear from me a lot, but you're not going
to see much of me this year, And to be
completely honest, that's just how it's going to pan out.
I guess if you want to buy any of my stuff,
whether it's zine, stickers, anything and prints, can't even think
(02:08):
what I'm trying to come up with now. The best
way is going to be through my website. The only
topic I have for today is really just something that's
been sitting on my mind, and that is social media.
How is everybody doing social media these days? I'll be
completely honest, I absolutely hate meta products at this point.
(02:29):
I especially hate Facebook. But I haven't been enjoying Instagram
for years, so I don't know where we go from here.
I started, obviously a blue Sky, I started a car account,
I have a pixel fed, and then I have YouTube
for posting short videos and stuff. But I don't feel
(02:51):
like any of those really have the community, a big
enough community for what I do and what I want,
and maybe there is and I just suck at social media,
which is probably true, but I just I have a
lot of followers on Instagram, but I don't want to
use Instagram anymore, and no one is jumping ship fast
(03:12):
enough to go to these other platforms. So just a
thought for today, like how do you manage your social media?
What social media is do you use? And which ones
don't you use? And why you can definitely comment and
things like that. If you have everyone to reach out
to me, you can always get to me. It's me
Chopsy at gmail dot com. And I'm more than happy
(03:35):
to answer questions or talk to people and just you know,
build a community best around art because I want to
build a community. It doesn't have to be just about me.
I want to include everyone I can. That's about all
I have for this episode, just kind of an update,
(03:57):
but a lot of people coming up that I'm really
really ready to talk to and gonna have some fun
with it again. My name is Chopsy and you've been
listening to the Caffeine Fueled Creative Podcast. You can find
my website at it's me Chopsy dot com and I
am it's me Chopsy on all social media platforms. The
(04:22):
best thing you can do is, you know, listen to
this podcast as I put out new episodes, and if
for some reason you felt like contributing and throwing me
a bone, you can tip me through my kofee account,
which you can get to you through my website. The
theme music for the podcast comes from the band Labrats.
(04:46):
The song Escape the Maze used by permission from Adam Wallace. Adam,
thank you so much for letting me use the song
for the podcast. It's awesome. You're awesome, Thanks for stopping by,
