Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Cases of the FBI podcast, Retired agents share
some of their most incredible cases. Let's begin. FBI continues
to work diligently and trying to put away child sex offenders.
So here's some of the stories just posted yesterday by

(00:21):
the FBI themselves. At Gainesville, man sentenced to ten years
for receipt of child pornography was sentenced to one hundred
and twenty months, so basically ten years he was. He's
fifty eight years old. The executed of such warrant that
his residence and discovered Young had been exchanging child pornography

(00:43):
with others using various applications intended to avoid detection by
using end to end encryption. Young's prison sense will be
followed by a lifetime of supervised release. Again, that's the
first case. The next case was over in North Carolina,
a sex offender enticed an eleven year old to engage

(01:03):
in sexual activity. If convicted, the man whose name is
Jeffrey Dutting, who will face ten years minimum up to
life in prison, he's thirty nine years of age. The
FBI agent was conducting an undercover opp to identify individuals
seeking to make online contact with an engage in sexual

(01:24):
activity with children. He was posing as a parent of
an eleven year old or she. The USC posted several
The undercover agent posted several short messages in a public
chat room and an online social messaging app. The individual
using the name Metal, aged thirty four, who was subsequently
identified as Dutting, contacted the UC by a private text
message on the app and expressed interest in the daughter.

(01:47):
Dutting told the undercover agent let me know if you're
ever down to let me do her. Despite being invised
several times if the child was eleven and lived in Florida,
Jeffrey Dutting study that he wanted to meet the child
to have a good time in sex. He also describe
what he wanted to do. Debting in the undercover agent
also community by communicated by cell phone text messaging. They
discuss plans for Debting to travel to Jacksonville so that

(02:09):
he can engage in sexual activity with the child, and
that's where eventually he was arrested and transported by the
US Marshals. In another case in Selena, let's take a
look at this one. A sixty nine year old Kenneth
Martin was arraigned in Selena New York an indictment charging

(02:31):
him with possession of child pornography. Now it's alleged, of course,
Martin knowingly possessed, according to the indictment, and electronic device
containing numerous graphic image and video files of children being
sexually abused. This conduct follows Martin's twenty twenty conviction in
Onondaga County Court for possessing a sexual performance by a child.
The charge in the indictment is merely an accusation. The

(02:52):
defend has presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. So
right now he's just he's indicted, so we don't know
for sure. Again, he's innocent until proven guilty. In another
case over a Mescalero man man age, let's see here,

(03:12):
he's thirty five years of age, he's an enrolled member
of the Mescalero Apache tribes, sexually assaulted a fifteen year
old girl on the reservation. He was sentenced to forty
eight months in prison for sexually assaulting a team. And again,
these are just some of the cases they released literally
about a day or two ago of what's going on

(03:35):
out there in regards to crimes against children that obviously
had the huge operation restored Justice where over two hundred
were arrested for the same reason. In another case that's
not exactly related but interesting, is a Burlington County woman
that was sentenced to four years in prison for forced

(03:56):
labor and other crimes related to their coursive scheme that
compel two victims to perform domestic labor and childcare. Bolagi
Ballerina fifty one previously was found guilty of two counts
of forced labor. Let's read what the story was about.
That the defendant exploited her relationship with the victims to
lure them to the US with false promises. The defendant
then confiscated the victims immigration documents and subjected them to threats,

(04:19):
physical force, and mental abuse to coerce them to work
long hours from minimal pay. This prosecution says should send
a message. According to the DIA US attorney Alena Haba,
the Department of Justice is really committed to enforcing our
federal human trafficking statutes. She coused them to perform domestic
labor childcare services for children through physical harm, threats of

(04:40):
physical harm, isolation, constant survellans, and psychological abuse. Once the
victim arrived in the US in twenty fifteen, Ballerina confiscated
their passports and then started using threats of physical harm
to her and her daughter. Also have verbal abuse, isolation,
and constant surveillance around the clock for nearly a year.

(05:00):
Ballerina then recruited a second person in the exact same thing.
The two victims lived and worked in her home until
October twenty sixteen, when the sec second victim notified a
professor at her college, who reported the information to the FBI.
That's it for now.
