Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Cases of the FBI podcast, Retired agents share
some of their most incredible cases. Let's begin some of
the FBI cases in regards to counter terrorism over the
last few months. We talked already about the leaders of

(00:22):
seven six four that were arrested in charge for operating
global child exploitation. Another one was a man setenced over
thirty years in prison for crypto terror financing scheme. He
was his efforts to provide material support to ISIS, a
designated foreign terrorist organization. This is interesting as there's been

(00:43):
several cases involving ISIS. Abdullah Zada, an eighteen year old
and native and citizen of Afghanistan, in a US lawful
permanent resident, now pled it guilty to a criminal information
charging him with knowingly receiving, attempting to receive, and conspiring

(01:03):
to receive a firearm and ammunition to be used to
commit a criminal federal crime of terrorism. He was plotting
to conduct an ISIS inspired Election Day terrorist attack. In
addition to another ISIS situation, a Brooklyn woman with a
name was Semaya Caesar, thirty years old, a US citizen,
was sentenced to serve almost twenty years in prison for

(01:26):
three separately charged crimes conspiring to provide material support and
resources to ISIS, obstructing justice while released on bail pending sentencing,
and failure to appear at court. The ISIS supporter was
sentenced over or to twenty years in prison for recruiting
for ISIS. So you can see there are little remnants

(01:47):
of ISIS still left and the FBI is prior to
catching those individuals thankfully. In addition to that, you had
Albuquerque man that was charging connection with arson attacks on
the Tesla dealership and a Republican Party of New Mexico
office federal charges having filed again Jamison Wagner forty years
of age, so we'll see how that goes for him.

(02:12):
So there's a lot of crimes out there that people
just don't realize are going on. And I get it,
the media can't cover everything, so we know that, but
there's a lot of stuff out there that does happen,
and we just wanted to be able to bring it
to you so you know what is going on out there,

(02:33):
and we'll continue to do that and hopefully provide you
some more insight of some of the crimes that are happening.
FO Pharmaceutical manufacturer A Sare Show agrees to pay three
point five million dollars to resolve allegations that have violated
the False Claims Act in connection with marketing It's fetanol
product Believe it or not. In addition to that, Tennessee

(02:56):
man suddenced over eight years for selling methamphetamine and fire arms.
Three members of an international money laundering organization were charged
with laundering millions of dollars in drug proceeds. A federal
grand jury in Florence, South Carolina returned an indictment on
charging the Sir Ulah naim Ula Carolina and Pukuan Huayang
of Buford, Georgia with conspiring laundering millions of dollars in

(03:20):
drug trafficking. The defendants laundered tens of millions and drug
proceeds from the US through China in the Middle East.
So we think we mentioned that one before. A US
online marketplace operator charged with trafficking deadly synthetic opioids stronger
than fetanol. E. World Trade conspired with others to distribute

(03:46):
iso tanatazine, a scheduled Control one substance, and car fetanol
Scheduled two. World Trade is charged with one count of
conspiracy to distribute. On the same day of unceiling of
the indictment, law enforcement authority sees the World Trades website
and shut down its operation. So you can see here selling,

(04:08):
trying to sell, trafficking more deadly opioids than fetnah. That's crazy. Well,
that's a little bit of an update of what the
FBI is up to, and we're done for now.
