people talk about the notable absence of Zachie Bananas lately

and yeah, long story short, We're not going to drag
this out or get into too many details, but we
had a sort of disagreement on things, private disagreement unrelated
to the podcast, unrelated to the TV show, unrelated to
anything like that, but a big enough disagreement that we
decided to uh part ways. So that's that's where we're at.
So Zech will not be returning. Yep. And that's the elephant.

Right, this is season forty one. This is episode eleven,
and it's called The King of Kamakazi. One of the
best episodes we've seen in a long time. You love
the politics, I'm sure you love this episode so much.

As they're heading back into the house, THEO is talking
about how he's happy that he won this elimination, but
he also knows he's at the bottom of the entire
house basically of both alliances and Uh, he's just like
this season, Yeah, he's pathetic, but he's also sort of like, hey,
I'm going to keep getting thrown in every single time

from now until the end of the game. Uh, and
really at this point he's probably right. So he's trying
to like figure out a way out of this situation.
We get this weird scene where the rookies are standing
over CT's bed because CT had just been eliminated, and
they're like mourning CT and talking about his underwear and.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
Shit like that.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
That's kind of weird. Kie. Yeah, it's the rookie guys
who are like, why are you connected to CT here?

Speaker 3 (03:35):
And it felt like it went on for like five
minutes too long.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
They're just going to squeeze CT out of the season, right,
It's like, get that ass shot of CT in there again.
Get some more, get some more CT.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
Which is weird considering he hasn't really done much this season.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Yeah, he'd had he'd had a very poor showing for
most of the season. He'd pissed a lot of people
off because he didn't do well when he was paired
with Lecca. So yeah, it was just it seems like
he had a good with a lot of the newbie guys,
which I mean, good on him, but yeah, it's a very.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
So this is Gabe talking about Leo and Jake. This
has not been really shown on the show, but I
guess that these three are super close. Gabe really trusts them.
He thinks that those three are a very tight trio.
I don't think that Leo and Jake agree, but that's
where Gabe's at with this. Uh And he starts in
with his delusional ship like fucking right away. He says

that he's more connected into this house than john a
is and that he needs to sort of take the
lead politically and Johnny needs to sort of let him
do his thing.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
So is a fucking more on This gets played like a.

Spoilers. I'm so fucking happy he's gone.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Yes, we'll get into every reason why we hate him
throughout this episode, but there's many reasons. We see Ashley,
Nanni and Aviv. They're talking. Ashley's got her notebook out,
so you know, shit's pretty fucking serious. In that bedroom
right there, they're going they're counting votes, they're going through
the numbers. They're trying to figure out who can vote
for who, who's gonna be pulled over into other alliances,

and really they feel pretty safe. They're just sort of
angry at people like Turbo for wasting their votes, but
otherwise this is a super alliance. It's got plenty of votes.
They're kind of not worried about it. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
I mean I get being mad at Turbo from wasting
his vote, but at the same time, like that was
the one vote that he probably could waste it without
too much of an issue. Yeah, I mean I agree
with them, like he can't. He can't continue to throw
his vote away if THEO is the one who's being
voted in, because numbers are dwindling and those burn votes.

(05:50):
I mean, Leroy knows firsthand how those burn votes can
get out of hand real fast.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
Yeah. I think that you were right. I think that
they've been allowing Turbo uh and John Ay and Anissa
to burn votes. But now it's get to the point
where it's like pick aside, guys, Like this is not yeah,
you're you're, you're. You have to pick a side. I
know that's hard, but that's the game.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
And if you don't wanted to pick aside, then don't
come to this game.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
Yeah, because that's part of it.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
So we see some of the rookies that's d yeame
Sydney in America. They're talking about this Steake acclaim thing
and just sort of theorizing on what's gonna happen. America
thinks nobody's gonna do it. Everyone else seems to think
everyone everyone else seems to think that they will and
somebody will stake a claim. And this is where Sydney
comes in. I really like Sidney. Have I mentioned this.

(06:39):
Sydney's great. She says feel and Adrian are the obvious boat,
but maybe we should consider a Nissa and Jake instead,
And she had a really good reason that I've since forgotten.
Uh And it doesn't matter because that's not the way
it went. But I do like Sydney for sort of
thinking outside of the box here and coming up with
another name.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
I don't remember why she said Anissa and Jake either.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
I think they're sort of they're part of the British Alliance.
They're just some of the ones that are throwing their
votes away and not not fully committing to the British Alliance.
So I think her point is like they're still Brits,
they're you know, they're on that team. Even if they're
not pledging allegiance to it, it's still good to get
out of there.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
Their name comes up later too, because year me would
have a good chance of beating them, ye mean. Anyway,
So as they're preparing for the challenge, Johnny says that
she and Gabe just speak different languages. And it shows
a few like little scenes where it's clear that, you know,
john Ay just is like this upbeat, bubbly, nice kind
person and Gabe is just like he's got that fucking

(07:38):
stink face on all the time. He just looks like
he hates her.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Definitely, he's better than everybody, and he has done jack
shit in this game. Yeah, has been terrible the entire season.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Well, and I mean yet, and john A will say
something very nice like, oh, I'm just excited to be
working with Abe. We're gonna be a good team. We're
gonna figure this out. We're gonna crush it today, and
Gabe just like, yeah, Johnny, it's like game.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
Like the only the only time that he actually did
anything like really good was when he did that elimination
and we were all just completely blown away. And I
think part of it is the fact that he did
it against Johnny Bananas, and the three of us really
don't like Johnny, so seeing someone just wipe the floor
with him was a lot of fun.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
This entire season. Miserably, other than that, Gabe has made
the wrong decision every single time he has. If he
would have done the exact opposite of what he actually did,
he would have been in a really good position.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
I mean if he if he just sat there and
was like, you know, I really want to do this thing, Okay,
that means I need to.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Do that one. Yeah, maybe that's maybe it's a humility
lesson that he's learned. Maybe if he comes back, he'll
he'll do that.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
Right now, I don't think we are going to see
him again.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
I kind of hope not. He's horrible. He's not. He's
not a fun guy to watch. Even like some people
it's fun to hate him. He's not like I just
hate him anyway. This they're now at the challenge. This
one is called band Together, We'll see you. How do
you play it?

Speaker 4 (09:22):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (09:23):
You have to go pick up these items that have
like stretchy bands on them. You have to use those
bands to study a poll that's out over the water
and you have to walk out, see the end, pull
up a flag and then shimmy back and then hook
it to your.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
Yep. Sums it up in these like little pre you know,
game interviews. This is where Derek is pissing me off.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Now.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
He seems to just like, let D take the reins
of this team and let D sort of handle all
the politics of it, even though this is D's first
seas and Derek's played this game like, I don't know,
fifteen or twenty times. Yeah, what is this? Why did
Derek surrender all this power to D even though he
clearly like doesn't want to. What's what's going on with Derek?

Speaker 1 (10:13):
He's being Derek? Yeah, I don't know, So he doesn't
he doesn't have anybody to team up with some of
the thoughts, because Derek's never been like a leader on
the show. He's he's he's very good, like first mate.
He's not a good captain.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Yeah, and I think you might be right. Well, his
captains are gone. His captains would have been like Johnny
Bananas or you know some of vet ct maybe like
a vetman telling him what to do. And he doesn't
have that. So now he's got D telling him what
to do, and he's doing it, but he's doing it
like super uneasy. He doesn't seem happy about it.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Eduardo said. Supposedly, CT told the rookies that John is
not good. She only won All Stars twice because it
was a lot easier. That's why the rookies didn't respect her.
She apparently said that on the Official Challenge podcast today.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
I mean, I don't necessarily disagree with him on that,
but at the same time, still.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
Done more than Gabe fucking has.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
That's the thing she deserved.

Speaker 3 (11:16):
She deserved the respect of the rookies because she is
a champ and she has competed in this so many times,
and she put up with fucking Zach's ass for how
many seasons.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
She made She's made finals on the flagship show before.
You know, she hasn't won any but she won All
Stars twice. Like she's still a good player and still
connected politically and has influences, has insight in the game. Like, yeah, yeah,
she was not treated well this episode.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
No, she was not. I think it's shitty that he
influenced the rookies reactions to her that much, because yeah,
she does still deserve quite a bit of respect. For
her for her catalog of shows, but I also don't
necessarily disagree with them.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Yeah, well, they're starting to run up this mountain to
get the heavy stuff. Jeermie is the first to the
top and also the first to the bottom, so that
means a. Viv is the first woman to run off,
followed closely by Mikayla. So that's where we're at currently. Yeah,

(12:25):
I have notes here about John Ay trying to be
team like Gabe, not following along whatever that means. Here's
Aviv struggling with getting her barrel down this mountain. She
has ruined Jeremy's lead that he got for her because
she cannot get this fucking barrel down. The thing she
says at.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Some point, this super heavy barrel full of sand.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Now is that bullshit? Though she's the only one that
mentioned it, nobody else ever mentioned barrels being heavier or
lighter than any other barrel.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
I assumed that the barrels were probably heavier, like maybe
the colors of the Resistance spans on them, or like
how many bands they had showed which ones were heavier,
and she just happened to grab one of the heaviest.
But she was definitely struggling with it more than most.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
Yeah, and she said at.

Speaker 3 (13:13):
One fact that she lost the lead for the Yearomy
had given, like the pretty massive lead that he had
given them.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Went from worse from first to worst, I mean literally
from first place to last because of this damn barrel.
And she did say at some point She's like, I
picked this barrel and now I'm stuck with it. So
it didn't touch it on It didn't touch on it.
But production must have said, if you like lifted out
of the zone or if you know you'd ever, you
can't change it. Yeah. I think if she would have
gone back, and I think if she could, she would
go back and get some lighter. Yeah. Anyway, Nanni's crushing it.

(13:47):
Kind of unexpected, but Nanni's fucking killing it.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Yeah, Nanny's actually doing really well this season, Yeah, which
is surprising.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Mikayla is out there with with lines. Man, I love Mikayla.
And somebody said, like, I think it must have been
nearing me, so like where's a viv And Michayla said,
she was right behind me. She probably tried to grab
a barrel and she shouldn't have, Like she just she
has no time for bullshit. Man, she's just gonna fucking
say she really doesn't. Yeah, she's great, all right. So

(14:24):
we have a scene here, I don't know how you
guys felt about it, where Olivia comes back with a
barrel in one of the big barrels, and Will is
saying like, hey, I guess that's cool that Olivia got
the barrel, but that's also really fucking stupid. Why did
she do that? It was a waste of energy and
a waste of time. She should have gotten some lighter.
I don't know if she's doing this to impress people.

(14:45):
I don't know. That seems really like a shitty of
will to kind of focus on the negative here, right, odd, Yeah,
like they should have gotten some lighter I don't understand why.

Speaker 3 (14:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
It the bigger the item, the stronger.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
The heavier the items that the heavier the item, the
stronger the bands. And I mean a good amount of
those women are going to have the same mentality that
I'm gonna have of like, I'm not gonna go up
there and grab some light ass item just because I'm
a woman. I'm gonna go up there and pick up
the heaviest thing that I can carry and bring that
back down because I want to have the most resistance

(15:24):
bands that I can so that I can have the
best chance my partner and I have the best chance
of going out there and grabbing our flag and doing
it in the shortest amount of time. So like to
have him say shit like that, to have multiple people
say that about their partners and like the shit that
they're grabbing, I understand it at some point sometimes where
like I think for that one specifically, it was they

(15:47):
just needed one more band. It didn't have to be
a big one, it just needed to be something. And
so going and grabbing the quickest, smallest, lightest item and
bringing that back you have a little bit of extra
resistance on your thing in that aspect. I get it.
But it was said multiple times by all kinds of people,
for all kinds of the guys.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Look, we're seeing it on the screen right now. Olivia
went back up after the barrel. She went up again
and got a stumpy thing. So it's like they needed
more bands. She did get the right like she should
have gotten the barrel that had the best bands. Yeah.
So anyway, Yeah, super weird comment from Will. I don't
like Will hate Will hate Will too.

Yep, Gabe more than I disliked Will.

Will is a slow burn hatred. You know, I've hated him,
but then he disappears for a minute. But every time
I see it him, I'm like, oh, yeah, there's Will.
I hate him. He's an asshole. So Dean Derek, they win,
Ashley and Leo get second place, Sidney and Turbo with third, Olivia,
Will fourth, Nony, Justin fifth, Cedric and Michaela sixth. That

one surprised me. I thought Cedric and MICHAELA would do
much better. I did too, maybe because Cedric's not the
strongest man and neither of them are super light to
get on the phieh.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
That's probably Trump and Nanny and Justin did try to
go out there and grab the flag first. Nanny got
all the way out to the flag, went to pick
it up and fell.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Yeah, Jake and Nissa got seventh place. Uh. And here
we get this little point from Olivia, which we'll get
back to in the social media part of the show.
But Michayla says something like, look at THEA with his
big ass out there trying to do it. Because THEO
is you know, six' six and like two hundred and ninety,

that was an appropriate thing For mikayla to, say, Right,
