you mentioned this a few episodes ago. I really love
that they like immediately get into going the episode and

the meat of the episode and don't like fuck around
with it. I think it's great. So we're immediately starting
out with they are back in the house and everyone
is talking about the fact that Banana's at his little
fucking da tribe down on the stand say or in
elemination or whatever it was, saying that he is the Challenge. Yeah,

and no one is happy about it.

It's weird because I'm pretty sure he said this on
previous seasons, Zach, can you confirm this.

I don't think that he has said this in the
way that he said it last episode.

Yeah, I don't know if he's ever said this directly.
And this might be jumping ahead a little bit to
like social media stuff, but the official Challenge x account
did put out a pole this week in sixty nine
of all voters again, nice Johnny Bananas is the Challenge.

Well, we also likeded an idiot president, so I wouldn't put.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
A whole lot of faith. Yeah, X loves that type
of person, you know. Yeah. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (04:25):
The people that are the most not happy about this
are the other vets like Ceti and Leroy and Anissa.
The people who Cet especially who you and Kara, who
you would consider to also be. They may not have
won as many times as Bananas, but they have been
around in the same way that he has. Yeah, they

are not thrilled.

Yeah, I will give Banana some credit. I'm gonna play
I'm gonna I'm gonna play your role a little bit here, Zach.
I think Bananas is a little different than somebody like
a Nissa or CT. That Bananas does show up ready
to play every time. He's ready to win. He wants
to go to win, and in that way, I think
that he is representative of sort of the spirit of

the challenge in a lot of these ways that like
CT is not that way. A Nissa's not that way.
Nanny like these people, they're not they show up to
show up.

So yeah, Anissa should definitely not be. Anissa may have
been here for as many or more than Johnny, but yeah,
she never shows up that way. But Cet, like I,
I don't know, I would argue with that with CT,
CT Kara. I mean, honestly, even Leroy, like all three

of them, they CT and Alas he has definitely had
his dad bod seasons. They may not have won as
many times as Johnny, but like they are known because
of this show. When I think of this show, they
are people that I immediately think of. I think of Wes, Johnny, CT,

Sarah Kara.

Like, but let's lease, let's let's flip it on that
side though, and say, like, who else makes the challenge
their life more than Johnny Banana's.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
I mean the people that make it their life.

Speaker 5 (06:15):
Johnny Bananas is absolutely the only one who makes it
their life the way that he does. Yeah, but I mean,
in all honesty, when I think of the Challenge, I
think of Wes, which is ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
Yeah, I don't think. I don't think of any singular person.
But I think if I were to pick think of
a singular person, Bananas would be a singular person in
the person.

Speaker 5 (06:37):
I shouldn't say I only think of Wes like Wes
is It's to me, it's like Wes, CT, Bananas, the Jordan. Yeah,
they all kind of pop in very rapid succession altogether.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
It's not a single person. To me, the challenge is.

All of them. It's not, it is, it has never been,
will never be a single person.

Yeah, if he's the challenge, why did I enjoy the
seasons he took off so much better?

So we've got Gabe, Kara and Derek talking. They're talking

Cara is telling him, like, dude, you're not in great
standing with anybody. Maybe you should just throw yourself in
because if you throw yourself in, then you'll immediately get
that street cred that you don't have, and you might
earn back the CREWD that.

You've lost with everybody. So what'd you guys think of this?

Kara has no CREWD with me, so her, why do
you Why do you have a problem with Azach?

I just think, like, I don't think you know, if
he volunteered himself and everyone's gonna be like, oh my gosh,
we love Gabe now, like yes, you know, I think
they're could be like, oh my gosh, when stupid rookie, like,
we're still going to keep throwing you in, Like this
isn't gonna change your fate in this game?

I mean, yes, like he's already too easy for a scapegoat,
but I mean, spoiler, you may be a little scary now,
but just volunteering yourself to go in is not going
to earn you any stripes. It's just like, oh, this
dude just made my job easier.

Cool. Yeah, I don't think the volunteering does, but the
but the fighting your way back does, right, I mean,
the like the winning of it does. Is that sort
of what she was saying is that, like this is
a path to win it, like just throw yourself in
and win it, or do you know what I mean?
I think that's the implication because if you throw yourself
in and lose, then you're just going home.

Yeah, I agree in that just throwing yourself in, like
saying hey, pick me is not enough to make everybody
like reevaluate.

The way that they think about you.

Yeah, you do also have to follow it up with
a win, and you have to follow it up with
a really fucking good win, because if you just kind
of win by like a technicality, it's not gonna No
one's gonna do it. They're gonna look in and be like, okay,
but you only barely won, absolutely throwing you next time.

Yes, yeah, well done, dude. At the same time, I
also look at it like, do not ever, except for
the seasons where you had to go into elimination in
order to to the final those seasons accepted for regular season,

it once, like people are always like, who can I throw?

So then we go to CT and Ben are talking
and CT tells Ben that Adrian has already already named
their team. It's the only time we hear about this,
but it's still funny. She names their team the Chubsters
and CT is big and beefie, and he says she's
something like bad Bobby. That just it made me laugh. Yeah,

but both he and Ben are talking about how happy
they are with their partners at that point in time.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Ye hear him talk about their partners as if they're
they're forever partners. Do you guys feel weird? Yeah, like,
I don't know they're talking about them because we.

Know that they're only your partners for like a day.

Yeah, so it seems like they should be saying stuff like, oh,
I'm excited to do this one thing with her, you
know what I mean, But not like I don't know.

But I mean spoilers this this episode is the last
episode where they like they have now gone through all
of the other side so people can start repicking people
that they have picked before. That's not really that much
spoil whatever. Oh, we also get Ben talking about CT,

and the producers give Ben a sportscaster filter so he
looks like he's wearing the headset and something talking about CT.
And they've got some clips of CT from back in
the day playing on the screen because he's like, Cut's
a fucking badass, but he's also like a relatively normal
guy to talk to in the house, which I could

totally see that of him.

Yeah, I don't like Ben. I hate this I hate
this guy.

Oh yeah, no, no, no, it drove me nuts. I appreciated
that the producers trolled him with the with sportscaster filter,
but yeah, he's he's gonna drive me insane.

Yeah, it seems like the house kind of likes him,
but his confessionals he's doing the sportscaster voice and drive
me insane. He just seems so inauthentic. I don't like
this guy, wolfee Zach anything about anything said about this guy.

I still felt the same way as last time, where
it's like most of the time I don't even remember
he's in the house, so he doesn't bother me.

Because I think he's missed on some of that before
on some of these other seasons.

You know, it's also because like the you Cannot Copy
My Walk season, it was he was saying like that
ship was being said, thank you, that ship was being
said as a way to make fun of him, and
he didn't understand it, right.

Yeah, I think that's why he's saying. I think that's
why he's sort of like, is this okay? Like I
think that's what he's I think he's feeling it out
a little bit.

Yeah, yeah, I mean he's afraid to say it because
he's worried he's going to get in trouble if he

so that he can take it back to his friends.
But like so if I say these things in front

Knowing the people in the challenge house, I'm sure in
the past someone has probably fed Turbo inappropriate things to repeat,
so I would not be shocked if he's learned lesson
from the past.

Yes, Turbo's there. He's having fun, Like this is the
Turbo we need. He's there, he's having fun, he's not
taking it too seriously. I'm really enjoying this.

Yeah, Turbo this year so far has been fun Turbo.
With four episodes in that might change, but he's been
fun Turbo.

All right. We do also get Turbo real quick saying
that everybody's talking about their partners before we go into
the challenge, and Turbo says that his issue with Sydney
is that Sydney isn't humble and just yeah, struck me
as funny coming from term, but it's also not untrue. Yeah,

we're onto the challenge, all right. This challenge is called
Amazed Wolfy you wanna give us the quick rundown two heats.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
There's puzzles hidden within a maze made out of shipping contains,
and the further the puzzles are away, the easier they are.
And then whoever gets done the fastest wins, and whoever
comes in last automatically goes into elimination.

Speaker 5 (21:41):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
And it's all which I do not know how to do.
So I felt stupid this entirely.

Speaker 5 (21:47):
I love. Yes, Yes, there's also there is a forty
five minute time limit that I'm sure Zach will talk
about this at some point time after during the social
media stuff. But the forty five minute time let, from
our understanding, is not announced.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
There's no like blaring alarm saying hey, you've.

Speaker 5 (22:11):
Got two minutes, or anything like that, so they have
forty five minutes to run out there and finish their puzzle,
and the if a team does not finish their puzzle.
If there are teams who do not finish their puzzle,
the producers will count how many right answers they have

(22:32):
and the team with the least number of right answers
is the team that will go in. So Heat one
is CT and Adrian who get to a medium puzzle,
Derek and Izzy who go to an easy puzzle. Justin
and Avive go to a medium, Leroy and Tay get
a hard, Ashley and Leo getting easy, Anissa and Will

(22:55):
get a they get an easy, Livia and Jeremy get
a hard. Yeah, so there are seven teams in the
first heat. All seven teams finish. This being that Leroy
was part of those seven. I was floored.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
Yeah, when LeRoi got the hard puzzle and he it
went to a confessional where he said like, yeah, I
wasn't looking for easy meatium hard, I just picked one.
I sort of thought he's not gonna do it then,
because then it showed him a riving at a heart
and it's like he's not gonna be able to and
who is his partner. His partner is also Okay, we
don't know what. She seems stupid, she seems not very smart.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
Yeah she she does seem not very smart. But yeah,
I mean they get to a puzzle and they actually
do pretty decently. I was very surprised by that. So
we've got uh, CT and Adrian. Adrian when she gets
to a Sudoku puzzle, when they find out that sudoku
is what they are doing, she is so excited because

apparently she does all the time, like when she's on
the treadmill, when she's at home.

Speaker 3 (24:05):
She is stoked.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
And CT is the puzzle master, not surprised that he's
gonna do well.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Derek, he let her kind of lead here.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
Yeah, she's multiple times where he called her rain man.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Yeah, this is that's rare for CT, especially to puzzle.
He's just sort of like, tell me what it is.

Speaker 5 (24:24):
Yeah, So it sounds like she did really really well
with what she was doing. Yeah, Derek Chavez an izzy, Uh,
they gotten easy. Like I said, they started out like
is he seems pretty frustrated with Derek because Derek kind
of he seems to be really frantic with how he
does sku and not like methodical and Izzy seems like
she's a bit more methodical with how she does them,

so their strategies did not align. We've got Justin and Aviev.
Justin makes the This is one of the scenes that
you see in the preview for this episode if anybody
is part of the you know, instagrams or anything like that.
Justin has done Sudoku like once or twice, but he
stopped doing sudoku because it hurt his brain so much,

(25:09):
and he has been failing math since the fourth grade.
This isn't really math.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
But it's always weird to me when somebody that I
think is gonna be good at puzzles ends up being bad.
And I would have assumed he'd be good. He just
seems smart. He seems like one of these puzzle guys.
So yeah, this was that was I think maybe my
biggest surprise here. Also, how yes surprise Justin.

Justin is very much like this is not my game.

It was one banking on Aviv.

So we've had Lero and Tay.

They would be better at this too, by the.

Way, same I thought that she would too. We have
Actually and Leo. They get an easy puzzle. Actually is
super excited about it being sudoku. Leo apparently learned how
to do sudoku the day before. Yeah, but he keeps
like telling it, trying to like give her pointers, and
they both seem to be getting really frustrated with each

other the entire game, which is just.

Speaker 2 (26:06):
I blame Ashley for these communication issues. I know she's one,
Like she's Leo's there to play, like you can't just
tell him to shut up, like he's.

Speaker 3 (26:15):
There well and actually so good at communicating.

Speaker 2 (26:19):

She also I did love this. At one point in
time in a confessional, she said, like Leo needs to

leverage to walk backwards, because they didn't start at the

are tied back to back and there's a big giant
rope attaching you, and then there's a rope that you
can grab onto and like pull yourself up on that rope.
It looked like those kinds of ropes rather than something
that they had, I don't know it, rather than like
a tug of war rope. It was strange. Anyway, TJ
mentions it those ropes don't actually come into any matter

that it's just the main three ropes. Johnny is initially
on offense, and Gabe is on defense, and Johnny, I
mean initially it seems like Johnny's strategy is pretty good
because Johnny, like he starts on one rope, he goes
a few feet and then he drops that rope and

runs to another one and connects that rope, and his
whole strategy is to be able to kind of makebe
use a lot of his energy before Gabe is the
one on offense.

guys that aren't done. And that's why the next group,

he said it because they all learned from that first round.
They're like, oh, you didn't tell us there was a
time limit, and they're like, oops, yep, there's a time limit,
so don't DQ.
