Speaker 1 (00:16):

sitting in his bedroom. Uh childs or when does the
child list start?
Speaker 2 (00:31):
Two weeks from now?
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Two weeks soon to be childless?
Speaker 2 (00:34):
On recordinates Yeah, I'm still do tonight, Yeah up Yeah.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Karlyn sitting sitting in Minnesota being very hypocritical and just awful.
Speaker 3 (00:53):
And annoying, super annoying. Carling San Diego.
Speaker 1 (00:58):
And sitting at work contemplating being the laundry driver.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
Zachie Banana half sick, half sick.
Speaker 2 (01:09):
Just for all of you, is your glass half sick
or half well? I think it's pissed, of course, of
course it is.
Speaker 3 (01:20):
Point is that the glasses refillable.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Is a renewable resource.
Speaker 1 (01:28):
Everybody headed over to challenge pot dot com doing the
Facebook up. Who's doing tonight?
Speaker 2 (01:35):
I am Season forty one guys, Episode five. This one's
called Pride Comes Before the Fall. Attributed to my girlfriend Mikayla.
She's so hot, right you guys, get it hot, so hot?
Woo for you and Doure she's all right, woof, he's in. Zachie,
she's all right. Jakie's in Carling. We know you're in.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
I mean, I think she's gonna looking I I'm gonna
I still I love her, right humor, Yeah, keep using
that word.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Keep that word.
Speaker 3 (02:06):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
We see the bus ride back to the house. We
don't usually see bus rides anymore. It's kind of nice
to see if a bus ride feels weird. It feels
like weirdly, like candid that we don't usually see these
bus rides anymore.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
It's wild because the bus was the buses were very
obviously split vets and new threats. And I don't know
if that was like a production to that or if
they just kind of like purposely they did that.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Or yeah, they never explained that. But Olivia is talking
shit on this bus. She's really like high on her
own supply this season, right, She's fucking oblivious to anything
this this episode especially, But so she's already kind of plotting,
and Leroy like just yells out, like shut up, like
we don't want to hear about like liking that Bananas
(02:49):
is gone, like he just left. So yeah, during this
bus ride, this is when Mikayla says that with the
with Banana's gone, the are sort of lost that they're scrambling,
they don't know what they're doing. Rookies are giddy and
feeling good. But that's good because pride comes before the fall.
So Michaela is already plotting this and see how she
(03:10):
can use this for her advantage.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Why do we start pretending that Olivia is like this big,
badass player.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Thank you Wolfy. Why do we start doing that?
Speaker 1 (03:19):
Zach understand this?
Speaker 3 (03:23):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
It's like I said, it's like Michelle and Jay from
season thirty nine, they just ye know, if you go
in there and proclaim yourself as like this top tier player.
Production just was like, I will run with that.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Yeah, I think that's exactly what it is. But she
also seems kind of in over her head and making
obvious mistakes and not doing a great job at this,
just like Jay did.
Speaker 1 (03:46):
I guess during his season we did that.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yeah, she's very much the j side of the jan
and Michelle. Yeah. I mean it is kind of like
she's done well in her season, like her first season
with Rossio, like she did really well shut hit in
the face the golf ball. But yeah, I don't It's
it's kind of wild, how oblivious considering that like last
(04:08):
season she was part of the wasn't she part of
the Vacation Alliance? Vacation Girls, Ladies, Ladies of Leisure. That's
the one that I was thinking of. I think that's
what it was. It doesn't matter.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Just all of a sudden, everybody's like, oh, Olivia is
trying to run this game, and I'm just like, is she?
I think?
Speaker 3 (04:31):
But she's also trying to like do it from the
shadows and like pretend like she's not part of the
UK Alliance. But girl, you are the head of the
ukle What are you? What are you doing?
Speaker 1 (04:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (04:40):
It's very transparent. I mean, I guess to us watching,
but it seems like the house too.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Yeah. I just feel like production is trying to make
her look like she's a big player, and I'm just like, no,
she's sucked almost every season except for her first season. Yeah.
I don't even think that was her. I think that
was more Barassio's friendships, like bringing them to the finals.
I don't remember that season though, so that may be
(05:06):
the wrong interpretation. But all of a sudden, it's just like, oh,
we got to get Olivia out. I'm like, do you
because she's not that great?
Speaker 4 (05:15):
I mean, she had pretty well in thirty nine also.
Speaker 1 (05:18):
So.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Whatever, look, Oh my god, that pup makes me nervous.
We get Banana's funeral back at the house with D
and oh my out of correct changes to AZ's, which
is kind of nice. E and D confirms Johnny's bizarre
foot fetish talks about D Bananas always wanted to see
(05:44):
Dan and Bra but never did and they hooked up?
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Like what is this? What is this?
Speaker 3 (05:48):
I don't I don't think that they like hooked up
hooked up. I think they just made out and cuddled.
Speaker 2 (05:51):
You don't think they hooked up, hooked up? Interesting that
they hooked up, hooked up.
Speaker 4 (05:57):
I also wondered if she it wasn't that he just
wanted to hear in a Brad was like maybe that
specific Bra, Like maybe he'd seen in her bag and
was like, Oh, I want to you on that.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
It feels like she should have shown it, you know
what I mean, Like why didn't she?
Speaker 1 (06:10):
Why didn't she put it on for him?
Speaker 4 (06:12):
Because she needed to leave him wanting more so that
way he'd keep her in the game. If he gets
all that in the first week, he is no use
for anymore.
Speaker 2 (06:20):
Well that's sexist, Uh, and yes, confirms the foot fetish
stuff with a viv there. This feels weird with a
Vive because there was weird footship with her last season.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
Yeah, there was rude footship with the whole his whole
crew last season. Oh Fargo. Well, if he just sent
us a picture of Margot laying at the right underneath.
Speaker 1 (06:40):
His chair, I was sharing her dog on the show.
Speaker 3 (06:44):
I have laying on my lap right now.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
If my cat comes in, I'll take a picture. He's
so cute. He is so cute. Anything else to say
about a foot fetish guys, nothing.
Speaker 3 (06:59):
This whole thing weird.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
J Bruse, So that's not surprising.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Do you think Johnny's done the thing with the with
the toes doing this like like with age imagine Banana's
toes Like that was the.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
Most uncomfortable scene ever.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
I'm sure his whole Angel cruise doing that all last season.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Jinxch pokyo me hooke. All right, Gabe is talking about
working with Leca. They're like a rookie rookie team. It's
the first time who've seen this just because of how
the game has happened. Uh, but they also in addition
to being teammates, they also have sort of a loose alliance,
and the loose alliance is based on them both being
sort of big and scary competitors that people wouldn't want
(07:44):
to face an elimination, so they think maybe we can
sort of like work on this together somehow. I don't know,
unclear about how this is going to work out.
Speaker 3 (07:53):
I mean, I think they have the potential, Like at
the beginning of this episode, I thought they had some
serious potential to go far in the next game because
they are they're both After watching Gabe last episode and
seeing his his strength and his speed, it was it
was impressive.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:10):
Yeah, I think Leka seems like a really good competitor,
but I don't think she has that same intimidation factor
that Gabe has though, Like I don't know if I'd
be more scared of her than any other girl there.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
Yeah, I mean she's also she's been really quiet. We
haven't seen a whole lot from her this season.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Yeah, So I don't think Gabe was scary until he
did the thing. Yeah, so I think people are sort
of looking at Lecca that way too, like let's see
what you got that was the That was the first
time we saw Gabe do anything.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
M Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
So yeah, we're just going to see how it works out.
We get some of these rookies playing pool. I gotta
be honest. There's there's two guys, Jake and Will. I
don't know the difference between these guys. They are the
same person to me until one of the Yeah, they
look exactly the same. I can't.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
Every time we do selection or we see them out
on the field and I cannot. It takes me a
minute to like, I have to pause, rewind, see it again. Oh, okay,
that's this one.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
I know one of them is British and ones American, right,
but I still don't know which is which. I don't
know is Jake the American?
Speaker 1 (09:17):
No, I think British.
Speaker 3 (09:19):
I think Jake is the British. Yeah, because Will is
the one who is crying.
Speaker 2 (09:25):
Okay, yeah, yeah, we'll cries. Okay, all right, just these
generic white guy frat guys, you know, yep, very uninteresting guys.
But they are playing pool and kind of talking about uh,
rookies sticking together. It should be that's versus vets blah
blah blah. Anything to say about this conversation.
Speaker 3 (09:48):
Nothing, No, I mean, it's we get that same conversation
every season that there's a bunch of rookies and a
bunch of vets. Yeah, never seems to happen. Always happens,
but the vets orus bets never seems to happen.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
Yeah, yeah, Zach, what we were saying, I was gonna say.
Speaker 4 (10:05):
And the rookies do have a decent numbers at this point,
so it would have been smart. But you know, people
are not going to put the group before their individual desires.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (10:18):
But speaking of that, though, of this group mentality, Uh,
the rookies conversation is not over. There's still more talk
of this. So we see a bunch of rookies Cedric, Leo,
d Jeremy, probably a couple others that I didn't write down.
They're still talking about this rook alliance, and they catch
Anissa trying to spy on them. MS.
Speaker 3 (10:42):
Guys, you're having a conversation in a communal in a
communal house with like twenty other people in it. Of
course someone's going to try to eavesdrop, Like, yeah, come on.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
They didn't seem too surprised. They seemed like they caught her.
I was a little surprised that she got caught by
a bunch of newbies. Seems like she should be more
careful than that.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
But I almost feel like she was trying to get
caught to be like what you're talking about boys.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
See.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
I think that's how she played it off. But I
don't think she meant to get caught here. Yeah, but
that is how she played it off. Eventually she stepped
in and she's like, ooh, is this a rookies meeting? Sorry,
I won't interrupt. I'll leave now, when it's like you
are clearly trying to like fucking stay there.
Speaker 1 (11:21):
It's weird, all right.
Speaker 2 (11:24):
Immediately after that, we get Kara and CT talking and
Car just basically says like, hey, I gotta go, and
CT says okay, bye, And it was weird.
Speaker 4 (11:32):
It was a weird.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Transition in this car. Yeah, we had no indications or
signs that this was happening, and she's such a major
player that was just sort of dismissed in a weird way.
This is a weird part of the show for me.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Well, and she also like all season she hasn't really
been there like she's been in the episodes, but with
barely seen her.
Speaker 1 (11:51):
Yeah, it's been very enjoyable.
Speaker 3 (11:55):
Yeah, I mean, she just she hasn't She hasn't participated
a whole lot.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Look, I don't wish like bad health on anybody. I don't.
She was having it seems like some family medical stuff
going on. But I'm very happy she's a gone, bye bye,
see you never.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Well, it turns out her mom was dying. She later
posted a thing on social media that her mom died
one month after she left from this show. So she
got to hang out with her mom for one more month.
So it's good that she left and got that time.
But it's a weird transition.
Speaker 3 (12:32):
Yeah, it was. It was very strange because it was
like there was absolutely nothing leading up to it.
Speaker 4 (12:38):
Yeah, we can't say you never will because I'll be
seeing her in three days.
Speaker 1 (12:42):
Oh you can see her all you want. I never
ever see her again.
Speaker 2 (12:49):
Yeah, she just says weird things. Uh, she just says,
I have things at home weighing on me. She's not
addressing it as her mom either.
Speaker 3 (12:59):
She says, well, I guess I'm going.
Speaker 2 (13:01):
Yeah, it's very.
Speaker 1 (13:01):
True something about her mom at some point. But you know,
Leah got a hold of her, but someone brought up
something about her mom.
Speaker 2 (13:12):
Leo According to my notes, Leo was the one that
brought up her mom and he was you know, he
was the one that was paired with her, and so
he made a point to go up and say to her, like, hey,
don't worry about the game. I understand this is bigger
than the game. Don't worry about this is fine. I
know nothing about Leo, but I feel like this was
a good I like this. I like this seems like
a good human move from a from a human.
Speaker 3 (13:35):
Being, you know, from one of the players to another.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Yeah, all right, well that's it. So now we're preparing
for the challenge. But we're not there yet, I know.
As we are sort of preparing, Dee says that Derek
is a snake and if your call, they are partners
this episode. Derek, for his part, says he has not
(13:59):
spoken to d which is kind of weird, but he
is worried that Bananas talked shit about him behind his back.
This is weird, though, right, This is super weird that
Derek hasn't fucking said a word to d and they're
about to be partners.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
It is weird, and it's it's the clip that we
got in the in the trailer one of the clips
that we got, No, we got the oh yes, sorry, yes,
this is one of the clips that we got in
the trailer. For a second there, I was thinking, Derek Kazinski, Yeah,
this is one of the clips that we got in
the trailer. So I thought it was going to lead
to a lot more drama, but it did not.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
I think the drama is building that Derek is a
shitty challenge player, and like all of these signs are
pointing to it. So I think we're gonna keep seeing this.
I think that this is a sign of something to come. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
Yeah, because like his last few seasons, he did really well.
The last season he did really really well. I was
really excited to see him. He seemed to like do
well in all the challenges. He was fun to listen
to and watch on TV, and then this season he
was just he's just been such a dud.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
So for it's funny how people turn like the Olivia
is that way now too.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
It's just sort of like, yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
Froz, the let it go. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (15:14):
I think it's It's interesting because Derek usual has been
presented as like this really compassionate, nice guy, and we
started this season off seeing that when he you know,
had his conversation with Will about you know, what it's
like to be a gay you know, just justin justin
justin yes, and you know it's like, oh, that's the
Derek we know, and then they just decide right now
(15:35):
from here, we're just doing full villaintern.
Speaker 3 (15:37):
Yeah, he really, he really did do the full villaintern
and it was You're right, it was you know, started
out with the Justin thing and then immediately immediately took
one eighty from that and you stabbed him in the
back and just it. It was very strange. It's just
it's been weird watching him this season. Hmm. It's been
(15:59):
weird seeing him like play this villain role, especially considering
he has been such a fluff player, such a like, uh,
such a fun player. Where the hell did tem go? Well?
There he is, I'm here, Hi, welcome back, what's up?
Speaker 1 (16:19):
Thanks?
Speaker 2 (16:19):
What I miss Well?
Speaker 3 (16:21):
We were just talking about how Derek has taken a
villain at it this season.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
Yeah, he sucks, he sucks.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
It's just it's very strange. Yeah, all of this is
about Derek Chavas. If anybody was not including.
Speaker 2 (16:33):
All right, they're still walking to the challenge. Olivia says
that she's worried because she's she's with Ben. Ben seems
sweet but not too big and not too strong, so
she's worried and with that we're under the challenge.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
Che but Olivia says that he's not too big and strong,
but her boyfriend, who is big and strong, is not
doing great this season.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
Well.
Speaker 2 (16:54):
Also, Olivia uses her confessionals to talk shit, and I
don't like this. I don't like this version of Olivia.
She seems very mean girl, very fucking I don't like
her attitude this season. I just don't like it. You're
just gonna every every confessional, are going to talk shit
about somebody and blame things on people, and fucking I don't.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
I don't like it. It seems like Olivia's mo though.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
Yeah, I don't like that. I just don't like that.
Speaker 3 (17:18):
This this challenge really made me dislike her.
Speaker 2 (17:21):
Yeah all right, so this challenge. TJ starts off and saying, well, hey, guys,
car left, but Leon needs a room teammates, so let's
bring somebody out. Bring it an all Star, All Star
draw John.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
I shouldn't. I didn't have All Star by Smash.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
Come on, God, damn it. Uh total shock to me.
I did not know that Kara left. I did not
know Johnny was coming. Did you guys have any inkling
of idea?
Speaker 1 (17:54):
No, I just assumed, since the way this game is
set up, you would just be the hang now, like
they would just allmatically do it. He would sit out,
they would do, you know, because it's already kind of
built into the competition.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Well, and on top of that, we're five episodes in. Yeah, like,
this seems really late in a game to be willing
to bring in an alternate.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
Ye.
Speaker 4 (18:15):
I had no idea john A came in, but I
did remember hearing a couple of months back rumors that
are like, quit the season mid way for something.
Speaker 2 (18:24):
Okay, I didn't hear any of that. This this was
all a total surprise. I thought it would be Naya
coming back because they do that a lot too, as
they bring person she tore any of them. Yeah, that's
probably why they can't bring her back, because.
Speaker 3 (18:40):
Who was who is the other girl that went home?
Oh Blue? They can back because Yeah, it seems it
seems like it just feels so late in the game.
I realized it's only five episodes, but it feels so
late in the game to be bringing an alternate in
(19:03):
and Chris is Blue is an a vet, which true
Blue is not a vet, but I mean still stands
it feels too late in the game to be bringing
in an alternate.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Yeah, this seems this seems a little strange.
Speaker 1 (19:14):
But here she is.
Speaker 4 (19:17):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (19:18):
I thought it was very weird. So Johnny comes up,
all the Vets give her a big hug, of course,
and then Derek does a weird fucking thing where he
like yanks her away from a group hug and he's like,
let me introduce you to your partner, Leo. This is
when I heard that.
Speaker 3 (19:30):
I didn't actually see him do that, Derek, this is oh,
this is dere.
Speaker 2 (19:39):
Made it about him and I stepped out and made
a big show. It was very strange, and john Ay
seemed to weed it out by it. This is a
very strange little few seconds.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
It did seem like now that remember it. It was strange.
It was also like he didn't actually say her name.
He just said, this is your partner, Leo, Leo, this
is your five times three times All Stars Champ. Yeah,
say her name. Her name is john A. Yeah. It
was Derek's so odd.
Speaker 1 (20:07):
Very strange. I don't like that guy, just figuring that out. No,
speaking of things that are didn't find out when you
were at when we.
Speaker 3 (20:16):
Met him in person.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Yeah, yeah, So speaking of things that are weird and
annoying and awkward, we get TJ coming up with uh
with this being a very special challenge guys. Uh, you
know why? Because greatness demands sacrifice. Carlyn, what are you
willing to sacrifice for greatness?
Speaker 3 (20:34):
Uh? Nothing in relation to this game? Nothing?
Speaker 2 (20:39):
Nothing? Okay, Marlon Wayans? Would you sacrifice Marlon Ways for greatness?
Speaker 3 (20:44):
Sure? I fast forwarded through all of us because I
did not care.
Speaker 2 (20:48):
Good for nobody should. Well, if you tell us about
this movie.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
It's produced by Jordan Peel. They threw his name around
a lot to get that nice little rub off of
Jason Jordan Peele's name, but he's only a producer and
uh it from the trailers I've seen, it's like a
thriller of about a sort of the new up and
coming guy coming in and being trained by one of
(21:14):
the football greats played by Marlon Wayans, and white Check
goes some weird, crazy shit and during training to get
him to uh, I don't know, essentially break him down
into becoming what he needs to be or something. I
(21:34):
don't know, interesting, it's kind of weird. I may end
up watching it just because Jordan Peele's name on stuff
does hold weight with me. Yeah, even if he didn't
direct it. But yeah, I don't know. This is a
weird tie into this show though, very weird.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
Marlowins he did a good job. He did a good job,
like acting like he knew who these people were and
what the show was about. Pretty good actor. The challenge
is called Dirtballer Zach. How do you play it?
Speaker 4 (22:05):
I got I wasn't paying necklace attention, but I believe
what they did is run and dig up like these
posts and had to then carry them across and rebury
them and then kick a field.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
Goal yep, yep, buried five feet deep.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Oh but the key, The key was that you had
to also carry the football from one end of the
field to the other.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
Yep?
Speaker 3 (22:31):
Is it kind of like Carlin.
Speaker 4 (22:32):
Once I saw the whole like build up and the
introduction of this, I got zoned outcause I'm like, this
is too much, this is done, Like, just give me.
Speaker 1 (22:39):
The challenge in this is free whoppers for life.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
They told me free whoppers for life. I would have
paid more attention to the prior to the thing that
they were doing. As far as this the movie.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
Trailer Razor Scooter.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
With one year of service.
Speaker 1 (22:59):
Or five years of free rentals from Blockbuster Moto.
Speaker 2 (23:07):
These also und great guys. These also sound awesome.
Speaker 3 (23:09):
If you want to hear more about all of them,
go and listen to our throwback season where we go
back to two thousand and six.
Speaker 2 (23:15):
It yes, TJ does say during this intro, don't forget
to carry your ball. And once he said that, I realized, like, Oh,
somebody's gonna forget to carry that ball.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
Which it makes me think that that was a voiceover.
Speaker 2 (23:31):
It might have been, but it looked it looked it
looked staged. But if a eye these days, you know,
you never know, You never know, all right, So the
challenge starts. I see somebody in the background. Did you
guys make out who this was? Somebody's shaking that pole,
which seems like a smart opening move here. Who was?
Speaker 3 (23:47):
I feel like it was probably like Jake or Will,
one of those.
Speaker 1 (23:50):
Two one of the Gorilla guys.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
Yeah, because I noticed that as well.
Speaker 2 (23:54):
Maybe it was Gabe, Yeah, it wasn't CT. I know
that it was not somebody thinner. But I thought that
was a good strategy, and that was the only time
we saw that. I could see Turbo doing that too. Yeah,
that seemed like a really good strategy, but that was
the only time we saw it. And so I wonder
if productions stepped in and said, like, hey, you can't
do that, because that seemed like the best. That seemed
(24:14):
like a good way to do it.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
Yeah, to at least like loosen up some of the
soil to start digging yourself out. God, the general consensus
amongst the girls is that none of them know how
to use a fucking shovel.
Speaker 2 (24:27):
Yeah, I have some of these notes here that yet
there's a lot of men showing women how to use
a shovel as if they've never shoveled before. Very weird shit.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
Well, then there's also Ashley, which.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
Is also weird because she didn't know and year me
seemed kind of confused, like I know what I'm doing
more than you. What are you talking about?
Speaker 3 (24:47):
Why are you telling me what to do?
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Yeah, that was a very weird one.
Speaker 1 (24:52):
Especially that makes perfect sense to me.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
Actually was just being annoying episode.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
This entire episode of Ashley was perfect.
Speaker 3 (25:01):
Ashley Yeah, yeah, it was peak sm Ashley.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
Honestly, Ashley was trying to prove that she is the challenge.
Speaker 2 (25:11):
H Derek Kazinski is with uh is he and he's
talking a bunch of shit behind her back. I don't
know if I don't know if we've seen this side
of Derek. I don't like it. This looks weird to
me and gross. I don't like how he's talking about.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
Like we've seen this side of him in a really
long time.
Speaker 2 (25:28):
Yeah, I feel like.
Speaker 3 (25:29):
This is like young Derek when he was like being
thrown into eliminations and pinted against everybody else and what
was that cutthroat? Yeah, yeah, it feels like like Derek
from back then. But yeah, it was. It was a
little strange seeing him talk so much shit on Izzy.
I mean, I don't feel like it was necessarily unwarranted, but.
Speaker 2 (25:54):
I'm I'm used him being a little more positive, a
little more like she did her best and that's all
I ask from a partner and stuff, And it seemed
like he was sort of like, I'm gonna have to
do this on myself. We lost because of her, Like
I don't know, I just I didn't get the I don't.
I don't like how it came across.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
Being hypocritical Tim, But at the same time I also
kind of looked at it like, Derek, there have been
so many puzzle challenges where you have done exactly what
she is doing to you.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
Yeah, so Carmel, Yeah, a little self awareness would have
been good. Like if he would have said something like that,
that would have that would have warmed me a little.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (26:30):
I just didn't like this attitude. Other than that, I
don't have a ton of notes about this competition.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
CT just pulling poles out of the fucking ground CT.
Speaker 3 (26:42):
Yeah. I thought CT and his partner were going to
finish so much earlier than they did because he was
just like man handling those poles out of the ground.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Must have been the running and carrying part that gat. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
Yeah, there was a strategy of get all the poles
out and then carry him versus carry them one at
a time. I did the pull all the poles out
and then carry them strategy.
Speaker 3 (27:08):
I wholeheartedly think that's the better idea because they're absolutely right, like,
you are going to use so much energy trying to
dig these things out, get it all done, because then
you then you can just pick them up and kind of,
you know, walk it to the other side, which most
of the teams did. They weren't running these things, walk
it to the other side, gain some energy back, and
then use all the energy again.
Speaker 2 (27:31):
Yeah, totally Mikayla. I love her quotes. She says that
this is not digging up to plant orchids, it's digging
up to bury a body. Which this is a lot. Man,
Like I've dug holes. Digging holes is really hard work.
Speaker 1 (27:46):
It is much harder than it looks.
Speaker 3 (27:47):
Especially because it's not very Yeah, if it's not very
wide and five feet deep, like they didn't have to
go the full five feet, but those holes were not
very wide.
Speaker 2 (27:57):
Yeah, it's a lot, all right. And then yeah, I
have Ashley yelling at Jeremie while she's just laying there
in the grounds. Weird sounds. Yeah, my god, she.
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Really did sound like she was just trying so hard
to orgasm part of.
Speaker 4 (28:18):
It.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
Honestly, it reminded me of the what was that Rivals
when they were rubbing themselves on the bar of soap. Yeah, apparently,
like I hate.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
That I remember this ship with you, charl and I
hate that I remember, Yes.
Speaker 3 (28:32):
Well, I've heard a few different things since then. I
think Sarah and Susie did a podcast where they were
talking about it. Apparently almost every single girl got a
serious uti from that. Not at all surprised, surprise, but
gross butter.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
It was soapyea, No, Butter was the pre show.
Speaker 1 (28:59):
What We're talking about dollars a month on our Patreon
hear us.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Talk about butter.
Speaker 4 (29:05):
But I'm glad that it was called out because I
was watching it as she being like everyone else, here's
what I'm hearing, right, So I'm glad that some moms
show called it out.
Speaker 3 (29:13):
Oh yeah, I felt that same way as act like
there is she's She's making a lot of noises that
are not normally associated with us. The editors put all
of it together to this a thing. Oh, it's absolutely
an attention thing. I don't know if she realized, if
she necessarily realized how much she sounds like she was
trying to have an orgasmic.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
Yeah, she's doing this on purpose.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
But I love that the editors put all of it together.
I thought that was great well.
Speaker 4 (29:40):
Work because she got my attention. Uh.
Speaker 2 (29:45):
I liked the timer. I don't know how accurate it is,
but I like having some idea of how long they've
been doing this shit for. Uh, so we're at ninety
minutes at this point, and uh they are still like
burying these flagpoles and so, yeah, this is hard work, guys.
Ninety minutes of digging and running and bearing. This is
one of these like crazy long challenges that I love.
Speaker 3 (30:06):
Yeah, I mean they were you could tell they were
all like gassing. All of them were exhausted by the
end of this.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
But Mikayla and Jake they finished first. He kicks it
through on his second try, takes some two attempts to
get the field goal, but they do finish first, and
we don't see any of their time updates. It looks
like around ninetyish minutes based on the edit, but again
we don't know. We cut to their little interview with
both of them yelling I am him. I'm like, give
me a weird fucking thing. Hate this, hate this.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
Yeah, it was strange. I'm going to get why they
did it because they were trying to.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
Promote the movie, but yeah, it was weird, real stupid.
But I like this part because right after this I'm
Him lameness, they immediately go into like game mode, and
Mikayla says, hey, we're gonna have to think strategically and
do what's best for our game. Any guys, this is
like minutes after the win. So who's your partner, Will
(31:05):
or Jake, one of them, Jake whoever. It's like super
excited and like high on life from winning, and Mikayla
is immediately just like, hey, we've got to be strategic, like,
don't be excited.
Speaker 4 (31:16):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
Once again, I love michaela for but I can see
her being some of a wet blanket type person here.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
Same but she's she is very very game oriented.
Speaker 1 (31:26):
Yeah, which I love.
Speaker 3 (31:27):
Which I mean if you're in a game to potentially
win quarter of a million and a half a million dollars,
like get your bag, and the only way to get
your bag is to be game oriented.
Speaker 1 (31:37):
Yep, play the game.
Speaker 2 (31:40):
So after this we just see a montage of people finishing.
We have Adrian and Turbo they finished second of even
Will Gabe and Leka, Anissa and Cedric kind of remarkably
up next finishing their fucking field goal thing. What do
you call that thing?
Speaker 3 (31:57):
All posts?
Speaker 2 (32:00):
All bet goal posts, no goal post is where I
think Colin is right, uh, they're there, they finished their
goal posts. They start kicking the ball. Ben and Olivia. Uh,
Ben can't do it. Ben, Ben can't get this field goals.
As he struggles, we see a bunch of people finish
(32:21):
before him, including American Leroy Ashley and Jeremie ct and
Sydney and Nannie and Justin, John Ay and Leo. They
all finished before them. Theo and Tay finished before them,
while Ben just kicks this ball over and over again.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
Can he not kick the ball? But you have Olivia
just lounging on the ground. Thank, good job.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Let's go get it right, offering no feedback.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
Insanely frustrating to me, Like, dude, he's kicked it more
than six times, stand your ass up and switch spots
with you.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
There's a point at will Mad, you're doing this to
sort of fuck with your teammate or something like why
aren't you?
Speaker 3 (33:03):
Oh, you're doing this to be an asshole?
Speaker 2 (33:04):
Like do something, Olivia, like do something.
Speaker 3 (33:08):
Oh God, I could not believe that she just continued
to sit there. He did what like seventeen kicks? Yeah, yeah,
Like literally, that's one of those things where if your
partner cannot make it in five, you need to switch.
Speaker 2 (33:21):
Spots totally, and it got to be to the point
where I was sort of like, what's the deal. Why
isn't Olivia stepping up? Did they have to pick a
kicker and you can't swap or something like what's the
rules here?
Speaker 3 (33:32):
I thought that at first, but it was like this,
that can't that cannot I mean it can't be that way,
like they have to be the one like be able
to switch this off. But he just I think the
thing that rubbed me the most wrong was that she
was literally laying on the ground just like yeah, good job,
try again.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
Yeah, totally, and her confessionals were just sort of like these, Oh,
I don't know what's wrong with them, You can't do it?
Speaker 1 (33:56):
Like I just.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Oh, Annoyd, Yeah I was too, because yeah, we see
a bunch of other people finish, and finally Olivia is
just like, hey, you want me to give this a shot?
Speaker 3 (34:09):
And no, she doesn't do that until he starts crying
because he's so frustrated with the fact that he can't
do he can't kick the ball, which like, yeah, you
watch all of these other teams go, I would get
super frustrated and probably start crying too. You've been running
for ninety plus minutes. You're exhausted. You can't do this.
Your partner is fucking laying on the ground not doing anything,
(34:30):
and you're trying to kick a ball to finish this
and can't get it done. And oh, I guess I
can take one for the team and do it.
Speaker 1 (34:37):
Yeah. Somebody I think it was CT points out he
keeps kicking the middle of the ball instead of the
bottom of the ball to give it some lift up
into the air.
Speaker 3 (34:46):
Yeah, one of the guys said, I don't remember who
it was.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (34:52):
Yeah, I don't like that about Olivia either. And it
really did feel like she was just doing it to
prove a point or something.
Speaker 3 (34:58):
In the It felt like she was doing it just
to needle him, just to like just to be like, oh,
look at how pathetic he is.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
Yes, the way her confession is just sort of like, oh,
he started shedding some tears, So I stepped up, and
how about you say, like, oh my god, he was frustrated,
Like who wouldn't be after all of this attempts. I thought,
you know, maybe I'll try this. There's just a way
to like approach some sort of humility or something to
give this guy.
Speaker 3 (35:20):
A little believe that she let it go for so long.
Speaker 2 (35:23):
Yeah, it was, especially after getting on the first kick.
It's like where were you twelve kicks ago? Man, Like, yeah,
we could have finished much sooner.
Speaker 3 (35:32):
Yeah, she really is like that upon more than anything
else in this entire in the last few episodes, that
right there made me realize just how high on her
own supply she is.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
Yeah, this was this really rubbed me the wrong way
to bet her.
Speaker 3 (35:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
Well poor Ben or Ben, he was so sad. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (35:57):
It ultimately comes down to the two Derek's with their
two partners.
Speaker 3 (36:02):
Which this is like the second or third challenge where
the two Derek's have been in the last two spots.
Speaker 2 (36:08):
Yeah, and this is a particularly weird one because Derek.
Speaker 5 (36:11):
Uh, Derek and d they forgot the football so they
have to run back to the thing and then Derek
Kazinski with Izzy are labeled are able to start kicking.
Speaker 2 (36:23):
But Derek Kazinski doesn't start kicking. It feels like he's
waiting for this to be closer. Did you guys get
this impression?
Speaker 3 (36:28):
Oh? I didn't even notice that.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
I didn't notice.
Speaker 2 (36:32):
It feels like Derek Kazinski wanted this to come down
to or running this together and kicking it together. Zach,
you didn't get this impression.
Speaker 4 (36:41):
I did not get that impression at all.
Speaker 3 (36:43):
Now, I definitely it doesn't surprise me if that was
what he was doing, because Kazinski seems like the type
to be like, let me, let me get this down
to the wire. I know I can get it in.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
Yeah, I really do think that's what happened, because yeah,
I came down to second. It's like they were both
approaching the ball at the same time. They both kicked it,
you know, within a second or two of each other.
Kazenski got it through, Chavez did not, and so they lose. Yep,
that's it. I lost my face. So Mikayla has won
(37:25):
now twice in a row, and she's says like, hey,
I'm happy, I'm proud that I did this. But also
it's early in the game to stand out, and maybe
I shouldn't be standing out so much. Maybe I need
to fade away a little bit smart And also bumma
from Mikayla to win twice in a row with two
men's days right in a row when her sort of
influence is limited here. But I do feel like she
(37:46):
she should probably fade back a little bit, right.
Speaker 3 (37:49):
Yeah, because I mean she's kind of pulling a like
a Jeremie in the first episode of the season or
episode zero of the season when he just annihilated everybody
in that run up the mountain. I meant she's, Yeah,
she's the only woman so far who's done the only
person so far who's done two in a row or
two in general. Like it. It's it's definitely it has
(38:11):
the potential to put a serious target on her back.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
Yeah, And I think she's aware of that. And I
do think she's smart enough that if she would have
known ahead of time if this was men's versus women's,
she might not have played so hard, you know.
Speaker 3 (38:24):
Yeah, she might have pulled it back just a little bit. Yeah,
not necessarily thrown it, but maybe not gotten first gotten
like seconds, so she didn't have to think. She and
her partner didn't have to be making the big decision.
Speaker 2 (38:35):
Yeah, because there's not really a benefit for her to
win if it's not her day anyway, Like you know,
who cares. I think she probably tried harder because her
beat was.
Speaker 1 (38:44):
On the line.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
This is you know, it's a men's elimination.
Speaker 1 (38:48):
Tej tells us.
Speaker 3 (38:51):
I kind of had an inkling. I don't know what
it was. I kind of had a feeling that it
was going to be a men's elimination day, just because.
Speaker 2 (38:56):
I think that's how it has to go with this
Haynail thing. Otherwise it's always going to be like a
woman hang now, right, so they have to do like
men men women women?
Speaker 3 (39:05):
Yeah, but did they do? Oh yeah, I guess they did,
So you have to mind that makes sense.
Speaker 2 (39:11):
Yeah, I think it's kind of predictable now, but they
change it all the time, so like who knows. Uh
so yeah, so we don't men's elimination though, and we
get Derek Shava is saying like, actually he's kind of
happy that they lost because the way this game has
been going, the loser kind of gets to play who
they kind of gets to pick who they're going to
go to elimination against. The winners kind of take that
(39:32):
into account and give that to him. So Dereks sort
of like right now, he's like, I'm good, I'm good
here for Shin.
Speaker 3 (39:38):
I hate that they that that has happened so far,
where like the losers have been able to say, oh,
I want to go against this person like, dude, you're
going into elimination. You shouldn't have a choice, Like you
can voice whatever you want, but it's just it's frustrating.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
Yeah, Derek is losing a lot of his shine too.
That he got whatever that was All Stars whatever.
Speaker 3 (40:02):
Yeah, he definitely is he. I mean he did just
he did so well in his last season. He was
fun to watch. I mean no, no, I know I said
all of this a few minutes ago, but yeah, yeah,
but I think he's just he's lost a lot of
it and it's really unfortunate.
Speaker 2 (40:16):
We'll get into it, but I think he is snakier
than he's been represented in the past.
Speaker 1 (40:19):
And I think.
Speaker 2 (40:23):
We get a couple of quick scenes of Johnny being
back and she's exploring the house but she's sort of
his ditsy and getting lost, kind of playful scenes, and
we get Mikayla.
Speaker 3 (40:32):
Who calls her up about being No, it was was
it Sydney or Michayla.
Speaker 1 (40:36):
It was Mikayla.
Speaker 2 (40:37):
Okay, Mikayla's great. Yeah, she just rolls her eyes and
she's like, yeah, john that's john Ay, Like she doesn't
know where she is, she has no idea what's happening.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
Getting lost in the house.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
Yeah, that's Mikayla. I thought that was great club night Wolfie.
You're excited, Yeah totally. Uh yeah, me too. So Jake
says that he wants to use their power to save
Leo because Leo and him have a pact their buds,
(41:09):
and Michaela says like, Hey, it's a guy's day, so
whatever the fuck you want, man who cares, which is
a smart.
Speaker 1 (41:15):
Way to do it.
Speaker 2 (41:15):
But also, like I think, I do think Mikayla is
kind of quietly annoyed that she doesn't have more power
here because she's making the right call, Like it's a men'sday.
Let the men decide. Let the man aside. Also, it's
a bummer to win twice and have to say that twice.
Speaker 1 (41:27):
In a row.
Speaker 3 (41:27):
Yes, well, and especially because last time her vote was
basically taken away from her because everybody in the house
had already decided that they were voting for Gabe. Yeah, yeah,
it it does suck for her.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (41:40):
She tries a similar pitch that she gave last time,
though she's talking to her partner and she just says,
hey guys, or hey Jake, this game has been weird
and random, we're just throwing out random names. It seems
like nobody has a strategy yet this is our chance
to make a strategy and do something together. Yeah, but
I want to save my buddy, and Mikhaela is like, ill, fine,
(42:01):
then I guess I guess give up, Like I just
there's nothing else to do. So she doesn't do the
strategic political thing that we saw last episodes. She just
sort of like kind of less this happen. Even though
it's a dumb decision rights impression of this too.
Speaker 3 (42:14):
I do think it's a good idea on her part
to not make a whole lot of waves. So and
like kind of get up in his face, but like, oh,
why are you doing that that that's so dumb, Like
we should be doing this thing, we should really be
trying to do this thing whatever, because yeah, it is
still it's it is still early in this game.
Speaker 1 (42:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:35):
I just think she's at the place where she's like
any power you have, like try to use it in
some way. And but but she's with men that are
sort of like I'd rather throw it away because I
don't want to make waves, and she's sort of like, well,
it's not my like this is not my battle because
it's there.
Speaker 3 (42:51):
Hey you know, well it's also I feel like this
happens in every season when we have a bunch of
rookies against with a bunch of vets, whether they're actually
against them or not. The it's it's a lot of
lip service if the rookie saying like, oh, we want
to go against that, we want to get the big
players out, we want to get the vets out, we
want to make the big moves, and then when they
(43:12):
actually have the chance to do it, it's, oh, well,
I just I want to make sure that myself and
my alliances or my friends are safe, So let's go
with the easy moves like it happens every season, yep.
And then you do have those few vets who are
willing to start throwing in big players like I mean,
the there's been a few more than a few seasons
(43:33):
I know that Wes is definitely he has fallen into
this trap quite a bit where he tries to side
with the rookies and get the rookies to get some
of the big vets out, like bananas. He did that
multiple seasons in a row, where he tried to get
bananas and real early and bananas flip shit like, it's
not a bad strategy to have, Like, yeah, get some
of the big players out early. It makes the entire
(43:54):
game a lot easier for everybody.
Speaker 1 (43:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (43:56):
No, the strategy works, and the strategy always breaks down
because of just experience. The Vets do not let it happen. Ever,
They're always able to sort of intimidate their their sort
of rookie partners, and we get a repeat of the
same fucking season. We're seeing it again right now of
rooks knowing they're making bad calls but doing it anyway.
But I guess this this season is different, that rookies
(44:18):
are sort of winning despite themselves.
Speaker 3 (44:21):
Yeah, it's it's so frustrating to see all the rookies
be like, oh, we need to we need to have
a rookie learns we need to really go for the rookies.
We need to get the Vets out and then continue
do not vote for the Vets.
Speaker 1 (44:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (44:34):
So Derek Schavaz, he knows he's going in, but he
keeps talking about like, Hey, if I'm going in, I'm
going big because I'm playing for the Vets. So let's
get out a big threat. I want to take out
somebody big, a big threat.
Speaker 3 (44:45):
I feel like this was a he was it was
a mislead. I feel like he full of shit?
Speaker 2 (44:50):
Is he full of shit?
Speaker 1 (44:51):
Garling?
Speaker 3 (44:52):
I am, I'm on the fence. Part of me felt
like he was trying to be like, oh, look, how
big a bat I am. I did so well last year,
Like I can totally compete at the same level as
guys like Yeary Me and Gathe and Will and you know,
these big muscly guys. And the other part of me
feels like he was saying this to be like, if
(45:12):
I throw these big names out there, I know who
they're attached to, and those people like Smash that A're
gonna be really upset. So she's going to really try
to politic to not get herself in, which means that
her partner's gonna go souse. Then they're gonna pick one
of the easier people. It's just I kind of feel
I'm feeling half and half on that.
Speaker 2 (45:32):
I think it's even easier. I think he sort of is.
I think you said it out loud, and I think
he thinks it's true.
Speaker 1 (45:36):
Like if you're gonna go.
Speaker 2 (45:38):
Big, go big, because if you lose, nobody's gonna blame
me like you lost to Jeremy. He's a fucking superhero.
Of course you can. But if you beat Jearimy, maybe
you get a puzzle or maybe you get something that
you know, whatever, you pull it out, you beat Jeremy.
Speaker 3 (45:52):
Yeah, so I do think that's that is just true.
Speaker 1 (45:55):
Yeah, I do think that's part of it.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
Is just he'd rather go big and lose than go
small and lose.
Speaker 3 (46:03):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that is true. We have seen that
happen before, where smaller guys have gone against like have
purposely chosen bigger guys and or smaller women have chosen
bigger women and been like if I can beat them,
then yeah, that does make sense.
Speaker 2 (46:19):
Yeah, Zach, did you have something to say the chat.
Speaker 3 (46:28):
Go ahead?
Speaker 4 (46:29):
Oh no, I was just gonna say. I don't know
if I think Deak put that much Andre. I think
he just uh you know. I think maybe that's why
he's being a villainous seasons. Maybe he's just not having
fun this season. He's ready to go home. So I
think he's just like, hey, let me take out one
of the big dogs and if I go home, I'm
fine with that.
Speaker 3 (46:48):
Yeah. Maybe Chris in the chat room says that he
thinks that Derek might have had the thought of because
the last elimination was a stamina elimination, that this one
was more likely to be a puzzle because we haven't
seen really physical eliminations in a few years. So I
think that was probably a pretty good bet, Like if
(47:08):
if they were actually thinking about what the elimination could be,
I think thinking that it would be a puzzle was
a pretty good bet.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
Yeah, for sure, we get a good conversation. I actually
really liked this one. It was kind of short, but
it was between Gabe and Yearimie. And this is like
a weird like candid. This felt like cameras weren't there.
They were being so sort of like candid, you know.
Speaker 3 (47:30):
Yeah, it's kind of like they forgot that the cameras
were standing directly in front of them.
Speaker 2 (47:34):
Yeah, but Gabe just says to year Me, He's like, hey,
I'm at the bottom of whatever alliance I pick. Like,
if I'm with you, I'm at the bottom of your thing,
I'm at the bottom of theirs. So I don't know, man,
I'm just gonna kind of float around here and year
Me pitches, well, hey, at least stick with the rookies.
If you have the choice between like a vet and
a rookie, like pick with the pick the rookies, and
(47:54):
you know that'll get you a little further. What do
you guys think of this conversation any I didn't.
Speaker 3 (48:01):
Realize that, Like, I thought that Yemi was pretty tall,
and then he stood him next to Gabe and he
was looking up like a solid few inches.
Speaker 2 (48:09):
Game's got a short guy face. Yeah, like who is
the guy?
Speaker 1 (48:13):
Who was the other guy?
Speaker 2 (48:14):
Swaggy had short guy face too, gave a short guy face.
That's a big dude, he's huge.
Speaker 3 (48:22):
He does not necessarily. I I knew that Gabe was big,
I didn't realize how much bigger than Jeremy he was.
So Jeremy has tall guy face.
Speaker 2 (48:34):
I think that's true. Yeah, yes, he yeah, his face
is taller than his body.
Speaker 3 (48:39):
Yes, I wholeheartedly stand by that. I liked this conversation too.
Speaker 2 (48:46):
Then Ben also has tall guy face. Yes, he does
much shorter than I expected.
Speaker 1 (48:50):
That kind of bet.
Speaker 3 (48:51):
Yeah. And Derek Schabas his short guy face.
Speaker 2 (48:55):
Yeah that's true too.
Speaker 3 (48:57):
Yeah, Yeah, I liked this conversation. That was sorry, that
was such a like throwback to the like such an old.
Speaker 2 (49:07):
Yeah, but it works, right, it works deep cut deep. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (49:11):
Anyway, I did really like this conversation. I thought it
was I agree with you. It felt very candid, very
like they had forgotten that the cameras were their type
of thing. And I do. I again, I'm kind of torn,
Like I think, I do think that he has a
better chance of going higher in the rankings if he
stays with the with the rookies. But because of the
(49:31):
show that he put on in the elimination last week,
the vets are fucking scared.
Speaker 1 (49:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (49:37):
Well, and I think it's better for him to not
make an alliance right now. Like, yeah, I think he's right.
He's at the bottom no matter what. So write it out, dude, Like,
just write it out for a few weeks and and
make a decision when you need to. But I don't think, yeah,
at the moment, he doesn't have.
Speaker 3 (49:49):
To put on a good showing, like really keep your
word on things, play the game in a in a
in a respectful way. Yeah, then he had the he
really had the He has the potential to like build
some serious alliances in there, and she's them like, look,
I'm a fucking good competitor. You want to keep me around.
Speaker 4 (50:11):
I was kind of disappointed that, you know, like when
he Gabe said, like, no matter who I go with,
I'm at the bottom. That's Jeamy's chance to like sell
him some stuff like convince him like, no, you're higher
than that. Here's why you come with me. But Jeremy's
just like yeah, but like if you're going to be
at the bottom, at least be on the bottom with us.
Speaker 3 (50:32):
Yeah, Like you tuld to definitely have the chance to
to try and kind of pull him into his the
Jane's and Tarzan alliance and be like, hey, man, like
if you if you scratch my back, we'll scratch yours.
You can, you'll have a little bit more protection. We'll
you know, will help you out in the game if
you help us. Like yeah, he did, and it was
(50:54):
a little strange that he didn't take that that offer
or give that offer at all.
Speaker 4 (51:00):
Yeah, because you know, it sounds like a Bananas or
West would be promising Gabe like I'm taking you to
the finals with me. Whether they mean that or not,
they're gonna use that to ye tell them Nola goods
mm hmm.
Speaker 3 (51:12):
Yeah, they absolutely would have. Okayd Wes would have been
so deep in that, like hey man, like I saw
what you did in the last on the last elimination,
Like you know, if we if we really pull our resources,
like I will take you to the final, like we will,
we will go so far you'll be we'll be right
there for a second place, like dueling it out. Yeah,
it's it's I guess it's probably one of those things
(51:33):
where it's it can just tell people who have played
the game for a long time and people who haven't
don't really know how to how to make those kinds
of alliances.
Speaker 2 (51:44):
Uh yeah, So next week, get Derek Chavez again. He's
talking about how he wants to go in either against
Jeermie or will to take out a strong player. But
that but's Ashley in a weird spot because she has
partners with Jerimie, which would leave her as a hangnail
if Jeremie goes in and loses. So actually there was
a fit about this. Uh and this is sort of
(52:04):
what leads to a lot of drama the rest of
the episode.
Speaker 3 (52:11):
She was sorry, if you guys can hear my neighbor's
dog parking happens all the time.
Speaker 1 (52:16):
It's so good, You're fine.
Speaker 3 (52:18):
Uh yeah, she was I feel like Ashley was drunk
for like half of these more than half of these conversations.
There was one point in time where like one of
her eyes was basically closed while she was having the conversation.
Speaker 2 (52:30):
Yeah, well this is Ashley looks for offence, like a
reason to be offended by things. Yes, and so she's
taking this very personally. She doesn't have no point, like
it sucks to be hanging out, So I get that,
but also like, fucking this is not your fight, Ashley.
Like there's a point where it's sort of is like
back off, dude, Yeah, and she's not backing off.
Speaker 3 (52:50):
But well, on top of that, at least Derek went
to her and was like, Hey, this is what I'm
asking for. It has nothing to do with you. I
realize it's putting you in a bad spot, but this
is still what I'm going to ask for. And when
she sits there and says like, hey, I mean and
you obviously you don't care that it's gonna put me
(53:11):
in a bad spot, and he was kind of like no, sorry,
like I'm not I'm not sorry that that it's putting
in a bad spot because it has the potential of
doing a lot better for my game.
Speaker 1 (53:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (53:23):
So Ashley is throwing a fit about this, and Olivia
steps in and it seems like she is sort of
trying to calm the waters, and she basically says like, Hey,
it's not a big deal and if you are thrown in,
it has nothing to do with you. And if if
somebody throws Ben in, I wouldn't care. I would be
in the hangnail. It wouldn't be a big deal. So Ashley,
it shouldn't be a big deal to you.
Speaker 4 (53:42):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (53:42):
This comes back to bite her. But was this good
in the moment?
Speaker 1 (53:44):
Guys?
Speaker 2 (53:44):
Is this a good good move from Olivia?
Speaker 1 (53:46):
Here? No?
Speaker 3 (53:47):
This was number of This felt like Olivia was drunk
and trying to smooth things over and wasn't realizing what
she was saying.
Speaker 2 (53:54):
Yeah, and also trying to look like a badass.
Speaker 3 (53:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (53:57):
At the moment she has she has nothing on the line,
she has nothing to lose, so she can say whatever
the fuck she wants. Yeah, I look so big and bad.
Speaker 3 (54:05):
I wholeheartedly feel like she was saying this because she's like,
I'm so protected. No one's gonna fucking throw my partner in.
I can I can say this without without any consequences
because no one's even going to remotely throw my partner in.
Speaker 2 (54:18):
Yep, totally that was exactly what I got.
Speaker 3 (54:21):
The moment it came out of her mouth that I
was like, Oh.
Speaker 2 (54:24):
Bad move, Zach Wilfe, Was this your impression from this
whole same thing.
Speaker 4 (54:30):
I thought it was stupid. I thought like I took it,
you know, like the other the other side of the house, defferts.
I'm like, oh, Olivia's Basically, I thought Livia's saying like, Hey,
I don't care about being the hangnail, throw me in
like it gets rid of a rookie. I'm cool with that.
Speaker 3 (54:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (54:48):
Yeah, see, I don't think that's what she was saying,
But I think it's easy to interpret that way, especially
to a household people that are looking for somebody to
throw in who's gonna feel okay about it? Well, and
especially Olivia's I'll feel okay about it.
Speaker 3 (55:01):
Yeah, especially when half the house is not in your alliance.
It's a real easy way for them to take what
you say and twist it just slightly.
Speaker 4 (55:10):
Yeah, yeah, I know we're talking. You can never volunteer
for elimination because once you do, people feel comfortable throwing
you in because you're like, well, you won't be mad
at me because you volunteered.
Speaker 1 (55:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (55:25):
Yeah, so Olivia, I think she knows she sort of
painted herself into the corner. This is the next morning track.
She's trying to backtrack. She's clearly drunk and like talking
shit and you know, being being really cocky that she
didn't deserve. Yes, trying to walk it back, and people
are kind of trying to help her walk it back,
but also being sort of passive about it and just
sort of letting her figure it out her own. It
(55:48):
doesn't go well.
Speaker 3 (55:50):
Yeah, God, it was just funny though, because yeah, she
she did very obviously like wake up in the morning
and go, oh fuck, I did say that. Like everybody
heard me say that. I can't back that part down,
but like maybe I can try to spin it in
a oh well, I meant it in this way. It's
all hypoltical. I'm not really running our alliance and think
that I'm totally safe. That's not why I said it.
Speaker 2 (56:13):
But also it's a men's elimination day, so her ass
is also not on the line, So I don't think
she's gonna fight that hard no matter what. I don't
think she really cares, like well, I mean we.
Speaker 3 (56:21):
Saw her literally laying on the ground while her partner
is in tears because he can't kick a football.
Speaker 2 (56:26):
So yeah, we see a couple other people talking about this.
I don't know, I don't there's nothing unless you guys
remember anything important that like Nannie Ashley, Aviv, Vanisa, any
of these people say about it. No, nothing, not important.
All right, Well then we're on the nomination.
Speaker 3 (56:46):
Nominations.
Speaker 2 (56:48):
Mikayla and Jake get to save a pair of people.
They choose to save Leo and John ay makes no sense,
doesn't do anything to advance in a game. It proves nothing,
does nothing, real stupid.
Speaker 3 (57:01):
I don't even know if it's necessarily a real stupid move.
It's just a it's a it's just.
Speaker 1 (57:06):
A noting nothing move. Yeah, does nothing.
Speaker 2 (57:11):
And Olivia has a little talking head that says like, hey,
when I threw my vote away, MICHAELA called me out,
but nobody's calling out MICHAELA for doing it. It's like, yeah,
so call her out then, dude, that's your job.
Speaker 3 (57:22):
Michayla is the one who called you out. So like,
if you want MICHAELA called out, then you should call
Michaela out.
Speaker 2 (57:28):
Yeah, and it would not have been like if Olivia
called her out, that would have been okay to me,
Like I think Mikayla would have it.
Speaker 3 (57:34):
Well, well, that's also like if if Olivia had called
Michaela out, Michaela, it would have been like, yeah, I mean,
it's a it's a men'sday. I didn't really have much
of it. I like, they made a deal, we're just
honoring that deal. It happens.
Speaker 2 (57:47):
Yeah, all right, so vote number one happens. I didn't
write down the votes because he really gives a shit,
but I do have that the people that threw their
vote away on this first round were Gabe voted for himself.
Speaker 3 (58:01):
Weird, I mean, to Zach's point, like, don't put your
name out there, because if you put your name out there,
people are more likely to vote for you. And this
is now the second vote in a row that Gabe
has been potentially up and I just I have a
feeling that that trend is probably not going to end.
Speaker 2 (58:21):
I just think Gabe doesn't want to say a name.
Gabe does not want to say.
Speaker 3 (58:25):
And he's trying to be real copasetic in the house
now and his way of doing that is being like,
fuck it, I'm bigger and badder than everybody in the house,
so shit put me in. Yeah, I don't want it again.
Speaker 2 (58:37):
It's a weak vote because, as somebody says, I think
maybe Sidney if he would have voted for a Jearremy,
this vote Jearremy would have gone in, but that would
have meant that he had to pick a side. Yeah,
he doesn't want to pick aside. We see that with
vote number two is coming up. So yeah, he doesn't
want to pick a side, which is a it's a
pussy move. It's playing that. It's a it's a weak game.
(59:00):
Who else threw the vote away? Anissa threw her vote away?
She threw it on Nanny for some reason.
Speaker 4 (59:07):
Yeah, a lot of that feel.
Speaker 3 (59:10):
Yeah, there's a lot of chatter between.
Speaker 1 (59:16):
Who I mean, I guess, but Nanny. All of a sudden,
it's just like, fuck that bitch, and I'm just like
Jesus Christ. History ten minutes ago.
Speaker 2 (59:25):
Remember the Noodles. They have a contentious history because just.
Speaker 3 (59:29):
Like there was earlier Anissa and Ashley, I did find
this kind of strange. Nissa and Ashley we're talking earlier,
and he's like, you guys, are you seem so calm
and like congenial And in the last few seasons we've
seen you two just like screaming at each other. When
did this change? And then you get the talking head
of Ashley being like a niece, is a snake. I
know that everything that she's saying is complete lies. And
(59:50):
then two minutes later in the eliminator or in the
nominations and he says again throwing away her vote, and
Ashley nanny and I can't remember. I think maybe John
I or I'll just a Nissa. You can't ever count
on her for anything. She's just a snake in the grass.
You can tell that she's going for Olibya, like she's
not actually on our on our side, she's just playing
(01:00:13):
her game.
Speaker 2 (01:00:14):
Yeah, that's true though, It's all right, yeah, yeah, in
my opinion, Yeah, I think Anissa is another one like Gabe.
She doesn't want to say a name, and she is
sort of in alliances but in the shadow. She'll never
talk about it, Yeah until she absolutely has to. And
this is a this is a time where she absolutely
does have to because around number one is tied up
(01:00:38):
and so they're going to vote for around number two.
Where you have to vote for one of the two.
You cannot throw your vote away. The vote goes identically
except for Gabe, who apparently forgets how to talk during
these few seconds, just sort of shuts down like a
fucking I don't know what do you even call this,
(01:00:58):
Like Reboots just stands there like a weirdo, and Leka
is the one that needs to step in and say
bet yeah, super weird. And then Anissa, Yeah, you got
to choose one. Anissa, is it gonna be uh Olivia
or is it gonna be Nanny? And she picks Olivia
(01:01:23):
or Ashley?
Speaker 1 (01:01:25):
Well, yes, I.
Speaker 2 (01:01:26):
Meant to say, uh, Well, I mean to like to
like side with.
Speaker 1 (01:01:31):
Her, like to.
Speaker 3 (01:01:33):
Save her sides with Olivia.
Speaker 2 (01:01:35):
Yeah, size with Olivia makes her makes her allegiance to
Olivia known in.
Speaker 1 (01:01:39):
This vet, in this vote.
Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
I guess I should say, oh, yespo's for a year
me and Ashley.
Speaker 3 (01:01:44):
Which, like, if she and Ashley hadn't had the conversation earlier,
I wouldn't have really thought anything of it, because she
and Ashley been at each other's throats for years. So
like if she had sided with Olivia without having this like, oh,
you know, we got your back type of conversation with Ashley,
I wouldn't thought like thing of it. Yeah, but yeah,
she really is trying to like play both sides and
(01:02:07):
keep herself safe.
Speaker 2 (01:02:09):
Yep, she's awful. She's awful. But that means it's tied
yet again. So we've had two tied votes in a row.
So of course it comes down to drum roll please,
a fucking coin flip? Why why is this a coin flip?
It's so stud.
Speaker 1 (01:02:25):
You bring Derek out, you let him choose between the
two teams who he wants to go A thank you?
Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
Yeah, thank you. That's absolutely how you do so much better,
so much better, so.
Speaker 3 (01:02:34):
Much more fun to see it that way.
Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
Yes, the coin flip is so dumb, and it also
seems very transparent, like production can pick whoever they want.
Because he throws in the fucking bottom of the pool.
Who's gonna go in and check it?
Speaker 1 (01:02:46):
You know, Well, anybody want to change their vote because
if not, I'm gonna let choose he wants.
Speaker 3 (01:02:57):
Yeah, it would have been the drum would have been
so much better if they had brought Derek out, because
Derek has already said that he wants a big player.
But if he has been faced with the choice of like,
you can have a big player have a much higher
chance of going home, or you can have Ben and
have a much higher chance of staying here. What would
(01:03:18):
you like to do?
Speaker 2 (01:03:19):
Yeah, oh, I would love to see Shavez make that decision.
Ship like, oh, I want hear me. I want to
hear me. And then it's like, okay, pick one, hear
me or Ben. What do you think he would have
done Ben? Because I think he's a pussy.
Speaker 3 (01:03:31):
Yeah, I think Yeah. I also think he would have
done Ben, And I think it would have been.
Speaker 1 (01:03:37):
Like a.
Speaker 3 (01:03:40):
Because Yi was who was Ben was paired with?
Speaker 4 (01:03:44):
With?
Speaker 1 (01:03:44):
Who?
Speaker 3 (01:03:44):
Olivia?
Speaker 1 (01:03:46):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (01:03:46):
Actually, he and Olivia are really good friends. I was
gonna say, I think I think maybe he would have
played on the like, oh, actually and I are such
good friends, Like, I can't I can't put her in
the potential position, but this causes Olivia to be the hangout.
I don't know. I am more on the I think
(01:04:08):
he probably would have picked Ben's side, but I yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:04:12):
And Plus they had a conversation earlier where Ashley says,
this puts me in a bad position, and he's like, yeah,
I don't care what position you're in.
Speaker 3 (01:04:19):
Yeah, but I also feel like he was kind of
I feel like they were all drinking during those conversations.
Speaker 1 (01:04:27):
This whole thing, though, still reiterates how stupid the rookies are,
because was it. Ashley even points out, like, oh, if
I'm the hang now, the rookies have the votes, so
I'm going to get voted in for sure. If the
rookies have all the votes, why the fuck was there
not a VET going into elimination tonight. It's because they're
(01:04:51):
all dumb and they all don't get on the same page,
even though they all had a meeting and didn't come
up with anything except for.
Speaker 4 (01:05:01):
Listen, well, if a pair of partners disagrees on who
to vote in.
Speaker 2 (01:05:08):
I don't think we do. I would like to see that.
Speaker 4 (01:05:11):
Yeah, that's probably wise if they you know, they they
knew their VET partners would not side with them to
throw another VET in.
Speaker 2 (01:05:18):
Yeah, that's also like, that's also a weak game stuff
that you only see with the rookies.
Speaker 1 (01:05:21):
You know. Yeah, but then the Vets should have the
same problem when it comes throwing rookies in.
Speaker 3 (01:05:25):
Yes, they absolutely should. Like if if the Vets are
gonna are not gonna back down to the rookies. Then
the rookies shouldn't be backing down to the Vets. They
should be playing that exact same game.
Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
It's harder for rookie just because of the experienced thing, like,
it's harder to.
Speaker 3 (01:05:41):
You know, the rookies are dumb. Yeah, I agree with Chris.
Speaker 4 (01:05:46):
Plus right now, with the votes, it does not seem
like there's been any like line in the sand of
us versus them. Whereas if all the rookies now said
it has to be a VET, then you kind of
draw that line in the sand.
Speaker 2 (01:05:59):
Yeah, alright, So post coin flip, Derek realizes that it's
gonna be Ben Derek. Uh this, Chavez hunts down Ben
to like hug him and talk about the elimination. This
is when I see that Ben has short face. I
don't think I realized it until the hug where he
is very clearly like four inches shorter than Derek Chavez,
(01:06:20):
who is also not a tall man. Yeah, I thought Ben,
like looking at the dude, I thought he was six
foot tall.
Speaker 3 (01:06:25):
Ben has tall guy face.
Speaker 2 (01:06:27):
Yeah, totally. That guy's five six five five seven, right.
Speaker 3 (01:06:30):
Yeah, and Chavez has short guy face because I didn't
realize how tall Chavez was, and every season we see him,
he stands up next to some of these really tall
guys and you're like, wait, wait a second, you're you're
like eye level with them. I thought you were. I
thought you were like eighty.
Speaker 2 (01:06:44):
Benny wellfee, you know what you and I have sit
next to Chavez five ten.
Speaker 1 (01:06:51):
Oh, I don't know about that. I would say maybe
five eleven.
Speaker 2 (01:06:55):
Okay, a little tall, hype, a little taller. He is
taller than he looks in the in the face for sure. Yeah,
and Ben is shorter than he looks in the face,
And so when they when they're hugging, it's like, holy shit,
Ben looks so little. Yeah, you know, he's like three
inches shorter or something, but he looks like a little
miniature guy.
Speaker 3 (01:07:12):
Just also makes a comment like oh it's Ben, let
me go, let me go find him. Betty's crying, like
was it a known thing that Ben was like overly
emotional about this kind of stuff.
Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
It's weird they have two crying like insults. This this
fucking I don't.
Speaker 3 (01:07:29):
Know it was supposed to be a jab or if
it was supposed to be funny, or if he was
actually being truthful, like oh, Ben gets emotional like I
need to go make sure that he's okay type of thing.
I just I found it very strange to hear him
say that.
Speaker 2 (01:07:44):
Yeah, it felt like a jab in the moment. I
don't know how he intended.
Speaker 1 (01:07:47):
It, but it felt like a jab.
Speaker 2 (01:07:53):
Yeah. So a viv now is the one that's most
outspoken about Anissa sort of declaring her allegiance to Olivia,
which is obviously everybody now. Uh, Derek is doing the
throat oh yeah, yeah, those fucking weird cut scenes as
they're preparing for the elimination where Derek is doing this
thing where he's like trying to look intimidating. Yeah, and
(01:08:16):
then Ben is doing like the shadow boxing. This is
all stupid. This is all so dumb.
Speaker 3 (01:08:19):
Also, when did we was this the first time that
it was mentioned? The uh Ben is a is a
an m M A fighter or bare knuckle boxer whatever.
Speaker 1 (01:08:31):
Yes, you also mentioned he was a football player.
Speaker 3 (01:08:34):
Yeah, he said he was churche string linebacker. The moment
that he said that, I was like, that is not
Why are you not all laughing at this?
Speaker 2 (01:08:41):
I'm for string Just so you guys know, mm, they're
going to call you up. Oh no, I'm not I'm
not ready.
Speaker 1 (01:08:51):
So for so forth string that he doesn't even have
to go to the.
Speaker 2 (01:08:56):
I thought four it exists. I thought I could just
say that and nobody would ever challenge me on it.
Speaker 1 (01:08:59):
And now and now that fucked me up.
Speaker 4 (01:09:01):
Well I'm down on the practice squad.
Speaker 2 (01:09:05):
Fifth string. That's called fifth string.
Speaker 4 (01:09:08):
It's below fifth string.
Speaker 2 (01:09:11):
Sixth practice squads.
Speaker 4 (01:09:13):
You don't even get to, like go to the games.
Speaker 2 (01:09:18):
They're gonna stop. You can't even buy tickets. You can't
even watch.
Speaker 4 (01:09:21):
I mean you could buy tickets and watch, but like
you don't.
Speaker 3 (01:09:28):
Don't.
Speaker 4 (01:09:28):
You don't get to go to the team like and
be like a backup in case someone gets injured. Just
stay at the home stadium and practice on your days off. Wait, hope,
do you become good enough?
Speaker 3 (01:09:41):
Goose Force just said, is he still a dolphin trainer? Was?
Was Ben a dolphin trainer? Forgot about that? I was like, wait, so,
so Ben is? Ben is a is a boxer or
an mm A fighter, a third string linebacker and very
(01:10:01):
very confused.
Speaker 2 (01:10:05):
So as they're walking into the elimination, we get a
bunch of flashbacks to previous hallbrawls. This is Halbroll esque
but it is not. It is not hallbrawl.
Speaker 1 (01:10:15):
Yeah, it's combo combo balls in hall.
Speaker 3 (01:10:19):
Brawl, hallrall light. Yeah, the most it's one of the
more physical ones that we've gotten in the last few seasons,
but it's still not not Holborough.
Speaker 4 (01:10:30):
No.
Speaker 3 (01:10:30):
I have for a really long time I was not
a huge fan of Halborough because I didn't like just
how physical it could get because of things like Rogan
hitting Jay in whatever game that was, like, it has
some serious potential to cause very serious harm to people.
But when I saw this ring, I was so giddy.
I was so happy to see.
Speaker 4 (01:10:53):
I don't even know if I would call it hallbral light.
I think this matchup was light. But you throw CT
in there, you're gonna get full hall brawl.
Speaker 3 (01:11:00):
Yeah, true train.
Speaker 2 (01:11:03):
Yeah, this is a weird one because the players were passive. Yes, yeah,
but we're into elimination. Did you play the thing because
you never called it?
Speaker 1 (01:11:14):
Yeah, well, just like, oh, I guess he's just gonna
gloss over my one job during the recap.
Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
No, of course not. We're into elimination. This one is
called him Collider Carlyn. How do you play it?
Speaker 3 (01:11:25):
It was hall brawl, but in a in the instead
of a haul that's just a straight line. It was
a big giant circle and they start back to back
and they both have a football and you know, to
continue on with the with the theme of the episode,
the movie that they watched. Yes, they had to run
(01:11:46):
around the circle and at some point in time they're
going to collide with each other and they have to
the first person to run with their football all the
way round the circle and dunk in the basket is
the winner of that round. And it's best two out
of three.
Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
Always are we never know the rules, but there had
to be rules this time of like no grabbing, no anything,
because there was no fighting. There was nothing that happened.
Speaker 3 (01:12:10):
It wasn't There was no like, oh they're on the ground,
some guy somebody grabbed somebody else's shoe or shirt or whatever,
and it always happens.
Speaker 2 (01:12:18):
Yeah, this is pretty much just a blowout. Derek just
did two in a row. Big maang, that's it. Ben's done.
Ben barely fought. I don't know, this is a weird one.
I thought Ben would do a better child.
Speaker 3 (01:12:29):
When they when they collided, I thought that Ben was
the one on top.
Speaker 4 (01:12:32):
Wasn't he the same? I thought so too. On the
second round, I was like, oh my god, wad them out.
Speaker 3 (01:12:37):
Yeah, so I entirely thought that Ben was going to
get to the goal before Derek did. But Derek, if
Derek really was the one who was on the ground,
he was able to get up off the ground and
continue running and put his ball in the goal before
Ben got there.
Speaker 4 (01:12:51):
So I thought Ben was the one on the the
like knock Derek at first, but no, when I watched it,
Derek was the one that knocked Ben down.
Speaker 3 (01:12:59):
Oh was he okay? Yeah? Yeah, yeah right, that makes
a whole lot more sense.
Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
But and I was like, holy shit, Like I was
shocked how hard he hit him.
Speaker 3 (01:13:10):
Yeah, that's why I thought. That's why I was surprised
by because I thought it was Ben.
Speaker 4 (01:13:14):
Yeah. Same, I thought Ben was pissed from the first time.
I was like, okay, like I was gonna go easy
on him, but now I just gotta lay him out.
And then they're like the people watching were like, oh
my gosh, Derek just destroyed I'm like, that was Derek.
Speaker 1 (01:13:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:13:27):
It did kind of feel like Ben just kind of
gave up in these Like I know that in his
in his little talking head, he's he was talking about, Oh,
I want to you know, have money to buy my
girlfriend a car and pose and all that shit. But
then it didn't feel like he put a whole lot
of effort into this. It felt like that first hit
happened and he was kind of like, oh, this isn't
(01:13:48):
really what I signed up for, Like I want to
be on TV and be a news broadcaster, and if
I bust up my face, this is not gonna be great.
Speaker 4 (01:13:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:13:56):
I thought that was it.
Speaker 2 (01:13:57):
He just seemed unprepared to fight as or as he
needed to fight.
Speaker 3 (01:14:01):
Yeah, so he just.
Speaker 4 (01:14:03):
His girlfriend watched out with him and dumped him after
the upisode ended.
Speaker 1 (01:14:07):
I hope, so I think guy sucks.
Speaker 4 (01:14:10):
It was apparently didn't give me a card that battle.
Speaker 2 (01:14:13):
I don't like him. I don't like anything about that.
Speaker 1 (01:14:15):
Guy seemed fine. No, I don't like him.
Speaker 3 (01:14:18):
Little the little SoundBite that they gave him at the end.
I was fast forwarded through because it was like, I
can't I can't deal with your with your bullshits forecast
sportscaster ship.
Speaker 1 (01:14:27):
It's harsh nowadays. Yeah, right, that guy, don't like him.
Speaker 3 (01:14:32):
I didn't mind him, except for the sportscaster ship. That's just.
Speaker 2 (01:14:42):
Do you guys hear that? I realized I should have
written notes for the selection to figure out the payers.
I didn't do that, so I don't know what the
pairs are. Oh, Carling's got it all right, thanks rescue me.
Speaker 3 (01:14:58):
Didn't have my notes up.
Speaker 2 (01:15:03):
Next week, all right?
Speaker 3 (01:15:06):
Uh so really quickly, the selection was Mikayla and Jeremie,
which I think is going to be a killer pair.
Speaker 2 (01:15:13):
I think I have three Kayla.
Speaker 3 (01:15:17):
I mean, she's good at shipping, and so is he.
I think they have some serials so lot, she's so hot.
Jake and John Ay Adrian and Derek Chavez, uh Turbo
and tay Aviv and Cedric Will and Ashley Lecca and
(01:15:38):
c T. Gabe and Anissa America and Derek Leroy and Izzy.
And then this is where things start getting a little weird.
So at this point in time, we still have three
guys and four girls. Olivia is now the hangnail, So
three guys and three girls. Of the three guys, we
have one VET and two new threats. And then same
(01:16:03):
for the girls, one VET and two new threats. So
they've all gone through the pick once already. Sydney then picks.
She says, I've picked all of that guys, and then
she picks Leo, so a new threat. When THEO a VET,
is still up there, Nanny pick picks the or THEO
(01:16:26):
picks one of the two. Nanny and THEO end up together.
So you've got two new threats together, two vets together,
and then we've got Justin and Dee who are also
new threats. I found this very strange. I don't understand
why they did it this way. It seems like even
though they went through the whole lineup, that Sydney should
have had to have picked THEO rather than going to
(01:16:47):
Leo a new threat.
Speaker 1 (01:16:50):
They're making it seem like they have to go through
the entire roster, not just cycling through the vets. They
now have to go through all the Yeah, it was
all the new people too.
Speaker 3 (01:17:05):
Yeah. I just found it very strange. Tim, did you
get any of that when before you dropped off?
Speaker 2 (01:17:11):
Yes, like the vets well.
Speaker 3 (01:17:14):
So, so Sydney ended up picking Leo rather than THEO
is a who's a VET and Leo is a new threat.
So we have a new two new threats. And then
we have Nanni and THEO, who are two vets. And
then we have Justin and Dee, who are two new threats.
So it just it felt very strange that even though
there was still a VET there, Sidney went with a
(01:17:36):
new threat and.
Speaker 2 (01:17:37):
We're sure they haven't played together.
Speaker 3 (01:17:40):
No, they have, so that's the thing. She cycled through
all of the all of the VET guys already. Yeah,
but it just it feels.
Speaker 2 (01:17:47):
Weird that, Like, I think TJ said that, like they're
prioritizing new partners over the VET versus new threat pearing.
Speaker 3 (01:17:54):
Maybe I missed him saying that we're prioritizing new partners.
Speaker 2 (01:17:59):
I think that just like because you've been with him,
you have to pick a new one.
Speaker 3 (01:18:03):
Yeah, it just it just felt weird because they've been
so like, oh it has to be rookie and a
VET every time. Yeah, we've seen already. I've always seen
repeat partners at least. Maybe I'm wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:18:19):
I don't hope we have, all right, Maybe I'm.
Speaker 1 (01:18:22):
Wrong, because that's why Gabe and uh Leka up together. Yeah,
but the last.
Speaker 2 (01:18:32):
All right, that's it.
Speaker 1 (01:18:34):
Yeah, everybody had ever challenge by dot com durin the
Facebook group. You can also join a Patreon. What people

Speaker 2 (01:19:57):
Oh yeah, we should do.
Speaker 1 (01:20:00):
What was something?
Speaker 3 (01:20:02):
We've even done monthly zoom sessions in like two years.
Speaker 2 (01:20:05):
You remember the watch lungs? Those are fun?
Speaker 3 (01:20:07):
They were fun. The trivia game was fun too.
Speaker 2 (01:20:11):
Yeah, yeah, Zach, what's happening on social media?
Speaker 1 (01:20:17):
Sure?
Speaker 4 (01:20:19):
On social media, so we've had a lot more discussions
about this America allegedly cheating on her boyfriend everyone, every
one apparently everyone? So yes, uh Leslie was first with
(01:20:40):
like CT. CT claims like nothing ever happened, but multiple
alumni Ben Kara THEO have all come out and said
that's not true. That you know, CT did reject her,
but she definitely attempted and after he rejected her, Apparently
America is trying to up with THEO right in front
(01:21:01):
of Olivia.
Speaker 3 (01:21:03):
All right. I mean, I guess, good job on the
Cajon ice, but that seems like a really poor move
on her part.
Speaker 1 (01:21:12):
Zacht.
Speaker 2 (01:21:12):
Do you have anything with with CT and the Anastasia
thing from a million years ago?
Speaker 4 (01:21:17):
So I saw stuff about that. I was trying to
put together and figure out what it is. I have
no idea what that's about.
Speaker 2 (01:21:23):
Okay, I think I figured it out.
Speaker 1 (01:21:26):
What you want?
Speaker 3 (01:21:27):
Do you remember?
Speaker 1 (01:21:28):
Was it was it rivals? Rivals too?
Speaker 2 (01:21:31):
What was it that? No?
Speaker 3 (01:21:32):
I think it was because I think that was when
Dian was in Maybe I'm thinking of a different one.
Speaker 2 (01:21:39):
Whichever one it was that CT hooked up with Anastasia. Yes,
so apparently Anastasia that like did not well, that didn't
go well for her, like afterwards, that really hit her hard,
and like she came home and Zac you might have
more information, but CT was sort of relating the America
(01:22:00):
thing to the Anastasia thing. It just sort of like, hey,
girls get drunk and they make bad choices and whatever.
Turns out in Anastasia like had a harder time with
it than he expected and somebody called him out. Like
Anastasia like got like suicidal and like had a fucking
hard time with this. And CT ended up like deleting
all the posts that were sort of calling her out.
And we're sort of like relating to that as because
(01:22:22):
it was sort of giving her a hard time against
it seems against her sort of you know, like he
didn't realize that she was sort of struggling with it.
Speaker 1 (01:22:29):
I guess that in those ways.
Speaker 3 (01:22:30):
Yeah, I mean that seems kind of insane. I shouldn't
say that. The the CT and Anastasia thing seemed like
such a non entity. It seems like a one maybe
two episode thing where like they kissed, they maybe hooked up,
(01:22:51):
like and then that was it. But at that point
in time CT was still very much a fuck boy.
Speaker 1 (01:22:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:22:56):
Yeah, so it's kind of surprising that that.
Speaker 2 (01:23:00):
And as a woman, you understand, like there's like Ashley
wouldn't have given a ship, like she's fucked all these
men and she doesn't care, she doesn't No, she.
Speaker 3 (01:23:07):
Would have been like she would have freaked out like
Jamie did, but at the same time like she did
with Jamie. But it's it's one of those things like
for CT, of all people, it seems weird that any
would have anyone would have gotten that upset by it
because CT and DIM was such a story and I
feel like Dim was on that season, But I might
be I might be conflating that season with the with
(01:23:29):
the the Chavon season because Ford says she was so yes,
so I think Dim was in the house, And like
CT and DM have been such a storyline for so
many years that it's just it's weird, Like you're coming
into a house where this guy's ex is in there
that has this huge, long story love story, not just
(01:23:49):
like story love story with him, and then you guys
hook up once or twice. It just yeah, it feels
odd that someone would get so wrapped up in him
in such a quick period of time when I'm interested.
Speaker 1 (01:24:07):
Yeah, these are.
Speaker 4 (01:24:10):
So they're gonna happen. This week I saw as a
Kelly Limp and if you guys met or her from
Real World New Orleans after the show, ended up marrying
Scott Wolf. They are now going through a divorce and
she has been arrested this week for cyber harassment.
Speaker 2 (01:24:28):
Yeah, this seems very sad. This seems like a mental
health issue that this poor woman is going through. I
feel very sad for her and family. Seems very tragic
and horrible and also awful that we can share this
ship now. Really she's streaming meeting with our kids and stuff,
like she's very clearly going through a horrible thing and
streaming online.
Speaker 4 (01:24:49):
Yeah, that's why I have my work release is here, SEGT.
I go deal with that. I'll be back for the
after show.
Speaker 2 (01:24:59):
Good time.
Speaker 3 (01:25:00):
Miss the Fantasy Leagues.
Speaker 2 (01:25:04):
Who's winning. Who's number one? Karl, Let's go.
Speaker 3 (01:25:06):
All right, So it's basically the host teams. Mister Tim
Watson is still in first place, and.
Speaker 2 (01:25:15):
You're number one with the bullet baby, and Michayla's my
number one player. She's gonna take me to the number one.
Speaker 3 (01:25:22):
Spot, I'm telling you, in the number one spot.
Speaker 2 (01:25:25):
She's gonna win it for me, dude.
Speaker 3 (01:25:26):
All right, So yeah, Host Teams. Mister Tim is in
at eight twenty three. I have moved up a spot
to seven to second. With seven and seventeen, he has
moved down one spot to six six seventy one.
Speaker 1 (01:25:43):
And Car lost Car. You fucking I think.
Speaker 3 (01:25:48):
I had been hold on. Yeah, so I lost Ben.
Speaker 2 (01:25:54):
You losers look at me stomping your fucking asses.
Speaker 3 (01:25:57):
Well, you have also lost a player. Uh slip, slippery
wind peeled. Mister Zachary Bananas is down at five hundred
and sixty three and he still has his entire team.
I did not think that his team was as bad
when we picked. I thought that he had a pretty
good team. So I'm a little confused as.
Speaker 2 (01:26:15):
To I'm looking at my team now. I felt kind
of sad as we've picked it, and then I'm feeling
real good.
Speaker 3 (01:26:21):
Yeah, you pick a pretty stacked team.
Speaker 2 (01:26:23):
Justin's rocking it. Justin is well exceeding my expectations point wise.
Speaker 3 (01:26:27):
Thank he's exceeding everybody's expectations, all right. And then in the.
Speaker 2 (01:26:33):
Can I talk about Justin real quick, just real quick?
Do young men really think this is a good look,
the fucking the mullet with the mustache, you do? They're
not doing this ironically as fucking very popular right now.
It's not a joke. They literally think like, this is
a good look, This looks good, This is as good
as I can look. Yep, Justin thinks that with that
(01:26:54):
fucking mustache and the mullet, you think he thinks this is.
Speaker 1 (01:26:57):
The best look for me. He does, and people do.
Speaker 3 (01:27:00):
I can't say anything on this. I hate the guy
that I am most recently Aussie that I most recently dated,
Kiwi that I rose recently dated had a mullet.
Speaker 2 (01:27:10):
Mustache.
Speaker 3 (01:27:12):
He had a beard and the must he had the
full thing.
Speaker 2 (01:27:14):
Okay, that seems more.
Speaker 1 (01:27:15):
That seems better.
Speaker 2 (01:27:18):
The mustache and mullet seems intentionally like like you're just
fucking around, like you're just it is a very thing
to do it's a joe dirt like that's a Halloween costume.
Speaker 3 (01:27:27):
It's not something yet.
Speaker 2 (01:27:30):
You don't look like that. You don't look like it
every day. I don't get it. Justiny look like a
weirdo shave that thing.
Speaker 1 (01:27:39):
I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (01:27:40):
I don't like it, Carling, could you date it out
with a mustache? A mustache and no other facial hair.
Speaker 3 (01:27:47):
I feel like I probably have at some point in time.
Speaker 2 (01:27:50):
I don't like that. I don't like that. Are there
women in the chat room that can chime in? Is
this the thing women do?
Speaker 1 (01:27:55):
Now? I don't like it.
Speaker 2 (01:28:00):
We can move on now. It's weird. It's weird. It's
weird when like a Justin like I'd like a good
looking guy that like knows things I assume about, like
pop culture and like fashion of things. He's got a mullet.
Speaker 4 (01:28:11):
What the fuck?
Speaker 1 (01:28:12):
Man?
Speaker 2 (01:28:12):
We used to make fun of that ship.
Speaker 3 (01:28:14):
I know.
Speaker 1 (01:28:14):
I'm gonna send you a picture one of the most
popular wrestlers right now he's rocking the mullet with the mustache, right, yeah,
I hate it.
Speaker 3 (01:28:24):
Excuse me, I'm sorry, all right? Uh publicly I am
killing it in the first place, and I don't know
how cheating.
Speaker 2 (01:28:36):
You're spoiled and you're cheating.
Speaker 1 (01:28:37):
That's how prove it.
Speaker 2 (01:28:40):
Otherwise, carl, let's go to court.
Speaker 3 (01:28:43):
Yeah, but it's still.
Speaker 2 (01:28:47):
I also think that you're blowing your water. You're picking
out your good players early and they're gonna be eliminated.
Speaker 3 (01:28:51):
And then I'm a little worried about it every time
I picked someone like MICHAELA or whatnot. But I'm like,
I'm going, dude, I just I am paying attention to
all of the like the next week on and then
the challenge, the actual challenge Instagram account puts up a
thing like two days before the end of the episode.
Speaker 2 (01:29:08):
Code bad call dude, because you're you're gonna run out.
