Oh, I did. I mean, this has nothing to do
with the challenge. But I found out from a from
a middle coworker today that apparently my old job is
mad at me because I removed someone from our We
use smartsheet for a bunch of the bunch of stuff,
and I was the administer. This person left the company
a month ago. I removed her from the program and
they only realized it yesterday, and they're mad at me

for removing her because now they're going to bring her
back as a contractor. I'm like, well, my fucking job
to make sure that she has access to it, Like,
how dare you I removed her? Like I remove everyone
when they leave the company.

Fuck corporate life makes me laugh. Yeah, what happened in
this corporate show that we're about to review.

It's corporate show that probably won't have any any shows
after this season. All right, we are in episode eight,
uh Justice for Lecca. Uh. So we open up back
of the house, not in a van, which is what
we've done the last few episodes. So we're back in
the house. Everybody's talking to Tay in the kitchen. She's
really happy to be back. They're you know, pumping her up,

and then we cut pretty quickly over to Nannie and
Ashley talking about or sorry Olivia talking with a few
people about Nannie and Ashley and how she seems she's
very surprised that Nannie and Ashley are so happy that
Izzy went home, and I'm just like, I, how are
you surprised by that? Like Izzy was working for you

against them, but trying to do it covertly and badly
badly doing it covertly.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
I read a really interesting post on Reddit about Olivia
as a main character, and it really made me hate
Olivia as a main character.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Oh what was the enlighten us?

Speaker 2 (04:32):
It's shit like this, right, Like they're trying to make
Olivia the main character, but she's kind of clueless, so
that's that's frustrating. She's not exactly like good in narratives,
so like her confessionals are not super interesting or funny,
and yes, like like this, she's just sort of as
like incoherent as a main player of the show. It's
not it's not fun to watch, Like it's fun to

watch the confused player, but not as the main character.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Yeah, and she's not fun like she she thinks she's funny,
which is a problem. Yeah, because she says things in
some of her confessionals that I'm like, you thought that
that would land as a funny thing.

Yeah, No, she's not funny.

She's funny.

She's not interesting to me either, Yeah, she's.

I also don't think she's smart.

Yeah. No, she was fine as an underdog like that
first season, an underdog. We don't know her.

Let's see what she can find on the Vacation Alliance too,
Like when she did the Ladies Leisure Alliance.

Okay, like a supporting role.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Yeah, kind of supporting role, kind of fun, you know,
pretty fluff to be there. Yeah, but this season, Yeah,
she's just driving me nuts.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
She has no lead nuts. Yeah, same seas.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Because she also doesn't seem to understand that like the
ship that she's doing, and this comes into play later
on the ship that she's doing is turning people against her, Yeah,
because she she's so over entitled.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Well she's the villain, but she's acting like she's the hero.
And I think that's really frustrating.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
I understand that everybody else is looking at her as
like the villain.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Yeah, and the and the TV is going to paint
her as that. Usually like the villains when we see him,
they lean into it like like I like a villain.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
The perfect ample bananas. I'm wes like they they come
in knowing Laurel the villain, playing into being the villain.
Laurel is she takes it way too fucking far, sure.

But Olivia's trying to get both both ends though, right,
and just like playing it nice and cool and sweet,
like she's the hero but playing like a villain. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
She also so in this whole little conversation, THEO is
in it and he says something to the effect of
that he's super close to going carnage mode. And it
made me sit here and go, who is carnage mode
in the room with us? Right now? You have been
ship this season?

Speaker 2 (06:44):
Been pathetic, pathetic.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
This is the same bullshit that Josh says. He's like
when I get book, I'm going to rolly the house.
It's like, calm down. But the worst part about it, though,
is a big player.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
Yeah Josh, at least like he always was like that, THEO.
The problem is that there were a few seasons where
he was really fucking good. Yeah, and now he's just
slid down that hill is at the bottom of.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
The barrel and sometimes he back, maybe maybe I just
like it, depending on who the subject is. But remember
last season he did as a Polly and we were
all we loved it when he was Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
I mean that was also that was also because he
was doing that's it.

That's what I mean though, Right, It depends on who
he's taking it out on. Yeah, he mostly seems like
full of shit, especially.

But it's just when he said that, I'm just like,
I I don't think you know who you are.

Oh h. So we're back in the kitchen and Dee
is asking Will if he's mad at her. We get
this little like yeah, awkward, feels like they were in
a relationship, but like, guys, we know that you hooked
up in the hotel.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah I was. It was relatively mature though that Will
was just like, hey, I just want to sorry, and
she's like well fine, yeah sorry, and he's like okay,
we're cool. Like look, there was something that was refreshing
about that. It seemed like they squashed it pretty quick.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Yes, but also in his confessionals, he's still the way
that he's playing it up in the confessionals feels like
he still has major feelings for her. Yeah, and is
like pining after her, but he's trying to play it
off like he's not. Yeah, and that's the part that's
annoying me.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
There's a weird dynamic there for sure.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:24):

And then we've got also in the kitchen. Derek walks
into the kitchen and Turbos sitting there while they're all talking,
and Turbo calls out Derek for saying Turbo in D's
names last episode, and Derek, She's like, well, I wasn't
saying your name. Turbo was saying D's name because I
wanted her to go in, And Turbo's like, no, dude,

you were also putting me in potentially be the hangnail.
Like that's not cool. I thought we were like better
than that.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Yea.

Speaker 3 (08:52):
Turbo's Derek seems like a little a little worried.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
About this, super worried. Yes, he does lightly because really,
like I think Turbo's wrong in this instance, and if
I were in the kitchen, I would stand up for Derek.
But Derek looks scared of shit and intimidated, and like
whatever Turbo's trying to do, it's working. Like you could
tell Derek look worried here.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
No, I agree I think that that Turbo was in
the wrong here because this is a game, and yeah,
you might have been the hangnail, but there was a
much higher chance of d coming back, and so you
probably would have been fine. He wasn't throwing you in.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Yeah, so yeap, Scott says Turbo gets butt hurt way
too easily.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Yes he does, he always has.

It's a lot better now though than he has been
in the past.

So true, he's better this season. I've really enjoyed him
this season, even this, I did because I don't I
don't like Derek this season, so I was kind of
glad that he was giving Derek some shit here.

I just don't understand his problem with it, like he
voted for him whatever. Man seems like you do one
small thing and all of a sudden, Turbo's like, oh yeah, well.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Yeah, okay, I think that is what that is what
it came down to. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
He Turbo does call out that Derek wants to go
to the final with c T and THEO because they
can't run and Leroy because he can't do puzzles, and
says that he's that his nickname is f f fake
as fuck.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Yeah, well Turbo said that, but like I'm just thinking,
like so what, like don't everybody does, Like don't you
all want to be in the final with people you
can beat? Like that's how the game goes.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
I will never understand the players who sit there and say,
like fucking Johnny and West say this shit a lot,
like well and Jordan, Jordan says this ship all the time. Well,
I want to take the best players. I want to,
but you don't.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
Yeah. Yeah. It's basically saying like I'm playing this game
to win it. It's like, yeah, how dare you play
it to win the game? Like? Fuck you man?

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Like I want to win, Like we want to see
the best players go to the end because we want
a competition at the end. But if I were in
that game, I would absolutely want to go against the
worst players. I'd be trying to keep the worst players
in that house.

Speaker 5 (11:09):

This is this is the perfect activity. See, we've we
got a quick scene of THEO talking to a doc
about his swollen knee, which just felt like a here's
a really easy way for me to like throw in
that I'm not going to do well in this episode
and that I'm gonna do shitty for the rest of
the season and this is my out.

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Is that what that was to you?

Speaker 3 (12:28):
I mean, he hasn't he hasn't performed well all season.
That's what it felt like to me. It also felt
like it was real, but it's still like.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Well, yeah, I really thought it. When it showed this,
I thought, oh, THEO is going home? Yeah, because I
don't know to show us ship like this, but I guess,
I mean it comes in later, but yeah, you threw me.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
I do like how it came into play You're not
gonna lie. And then we've got Lee, Roy and Jeremy
sitting in the room where they have all the scores
up on the wall, kind of talking about who they
potentially want as partners. Jeremy I. Every time it flashed
to the scores. I never got like a full look
at it. I never pay attention enough to really see
that Jeremy is very obviously towards the top and Leroy

is down towards the bottom. He's got like nine points
in comparison to some guy's like twenty something.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Yeah, he's pretty pathetic.

Speaker 3 (13:17):
Yeah right, So he's just sitting there kind of.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Like he says, I'm not picking anybody.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
Yeah, yeah, but he's just kind of hoping that like
he gets some gets a decent lady and that none
of the late that because most of the new Threats,
if not all of the New Threats are not super
keen on CT. They hopefully CT will lose this episode
and Leroy will get some points this episode and put

him up higher.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
So I still think most ladies would pick CT over Leroy.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Yeah. I think it's a lot of show this episode
that people don't like CT. But people know that CT
is smart. People know that CT can eat, people know
that sweat and swim, Like, yeah, he may not be yeah,
like he may take a little while to get to places,
but he gets there.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
That's the thing. CT's weakness right now is cardio and endurance.
But Leroy is his puzzles and swimming, which which is
always what they've been and like, you can't overcome a
puzzle weakness, No, no, no, you can't.

Speaker 3 (14:20):
That that fucks people up in every single final.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
Yeah, he's got to have a really good partner to
get through the puzzles. And even then, if there's a
long swim portion, you're still kind of fucked Leroy because
it's another hard thing to overcome if you take, you know,
super long time in a swim. So, yeah, LeRoy's got
two big weaknesses, he does, and CT has one, so you.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
Know, yeah, I mean it's not a little weakness, but
yeah CT has one. Yeah, oh yeah. We just get
a quick talking head of Sydney saying that CT's a
liability because of his endurance right now, which yeah, that's true.
And then we've got Nannie and Mikayla talking about Olivia
and how Olivia is pretty disliked by the majority of

the New Threat men and that she doesn't seem to
understand that and she still seems to think that she's
like this big, bad bitch in the house and can
just kind of tell them like, oh, you know, you guys.
This also comes in later she's giving it basically telling
them like, tell me why I should pick you to

be my partner type of thing.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Yeah, she doesn't seem to have a lot of awareness
into her role in this game and how people perceive her. Yeah,
she bothers me.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Yeah, and this episode she bothered me even more than
she has in other episodes, like it's it's just getting
progressively worse yep, and we're onto the challenge. Going into
the challenge, Ceet says that he's super hopeful about this
game because he's paired with Mikayla, who's the best girl

in the house, which I mean, it's.

Oh nowhere. And we get to the game and Anissa
looks at it because it is yet again climbing heights

her and ct. This is this is not built for
them or they are not built for it.

And before we even get into what the game is.
TJ says, Okay, uh, well you are the hangnail, but THEO, uh,
you had your knee checked out and it has been
decided that you need to go get an MRI. So

you are now the hangnail. Will You are now part
with D and THEO is not happy.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
Yeah, but this is the only way to solve this problem.
I mean, as far as I know. Otherwise, Theo's gotta
go home.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
Yeah, I mean, THEO like you had you had someone
medically look at you to like make sure that something
was okay, and they gave you inconclusive results like, yeah,
this is even though the challenge is often not fair,
this is the only fair way to do this, Like
you already are not going to do well in most things,
and Will is still at the top of his game.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
Yeah, so yep, I agree. Yeah, Chris is better than
this than go home. And I agree, Yes, THEO should
just be thankful that he was saved in this capacity.
You know. Yeah, you don't, You're not even eat immediately
into the elimination, you know, like.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
Yeah, like part of this whole thing. When he was
talking to the doctor earlier saying, you know, like we're
consistently doing heavy activity, and that's why this hasn't like
gone down at all. Okay, so this is a day
off of consistent heavy activity. You should be really fucking
stoke that you get to sit out this challenge. But whatever.
All right, the game is called cyclone, Woolford, why don't

you give us the breakdown.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
There's like one of those shipping container type things like
we saw earlier this season, and there's some blocks along
the bottom and some hand holds and you have to
grab a block, climb to the top, put it on
a shelf, and it's you and your teammate doing it.
And after you get done with that, you jump off.

(18:30):
You swim to a raft and then your time stops.
Whoever does it the fastest and completes the most we'll win.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
Yeah. And the other the big thing on this was
that the shipping container was spinning. Oh it is spinning, yes, yeah,
which yeah. I assumed that it was just going to
be kind of like just turn it. No, that ship
was going fast. I would have gotten so dizzy.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Sometimes I look at some of these challenges and I'm like, well,
I could have done that. That probably would have been
more fun than anything else this one. I looked at
him like I would probably get dizzy and maybe vomit.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
I don't have a big like sensory thing where if
I spend too much I get sick. This this looked
like it was really fast.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
Yeah yeah, yeah, it looked very fast.

Speaker 3 (19:23):
Yeah yeah. So it's done in three different heats. In
that first heat, Justin and Ashley are one of the pairs,
and they start off doing really well, like Justin gets
up to the top very quickly and puts that first
block up there, and it looks like they're gonna kind
of take this round because but they also, like everybody

(19:47):
else is having a little bit more trouble trying to
get up it. But then ultimately Justin gets to the
top of the second block and loses that block and
then loses his grip coming back down and falls. So
then Ashley jumps off after him, and everybody else just
kind of does the same thing. No one gets more
than one block in the entire heat. So then we
move on to the oh, and we also have Leroy

(20:11):
and America. No, not America, I don't remember who Lero's
partner was. Leroy and his partner Blue's not there. Anymore.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
All right, all good?

Speaker 3 (20:29):
Uh yeah, Camilla totally Camilla uh Leroy and his partner,
they don't get any blocks and they both fall off,
so they are at the absolute bottom of this round,
and everybody kind of realizes, like, okay, we have there.
They have to be they are the slowest ones and
they don't have any blocks. As long as we beat them,
we will, we won't go into the last place.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
I think this is when Mikayla had her my favorite
line of She's like, now I know what it is
it takes to win, and it's uh wait, no, how
did she say it. It's something about they got no
points and swam real slow. Yeah, like I just have
to do better than that. Yep.

Speaker 3 (21:07):
Second heat we have. Jeremy and Sydney are in the
second heat and they come into this game super fucking confident. Surprisingly,
Sidney is the first of that heat to fall off
of her wall, but Jeremy basically on his own, gets
four fucking blocks to the top and they both still
beat everyone else to the swim like in the swim,

which is wild.

Speaker 2 (21:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
I think one other team got there before them and
it was just because they fell off super early.

Speaker 2 (21:35):
Yeah, Jeermy's a maniac and it seems like everybody knows it.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
Kind of flying under the radar of the last few
episodes though.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
But I think Sydney is kind of a maniac too, Like,
I think she's really good and people aren't talking about
her as much, although maybe they're maybe they're starting to.

Speaker 1 (21:50):
I feel like if Jearimy keeps coming back on seasons,
he's gonna end up being one of the best players.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
Yeah, he's going to be a Jordan.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Yeah physical.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
Yeah, it's like a solo situation.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
That'd be interesting to see.

Speaker 1 (22:03):
Yeah, I think he could do a lot of stuff.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
Yeah, I would be really interested to see him on
a solo season.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
You know, I would be. I would like to see
him politically, Like we've only seen him compete physically. I don't.
I guess I've seen a couple of little conversations here
and there, but I'd like to He's.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
Always he's got partners that he can rely on or
that he can hide behind, or that he can and
that are play into that factor into everything. So yeah,
it'll be it'd be interesting to see him politically play.
America and Gabe they are having they have a ton
of trouble. America is scared of heights and scared of water.

(22:41):
Why the fuck are you in this game? So they're
both like, she's scared of heights and water, and Gabe
just says that he's too big to get up this thing.
So he makes it like halfway up and then he falls.
America just jumps off after him and they swim.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
He's right though. Big dudes always have problems on these
climbing challenges.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Oh they do, which is why, like CT had trouble
the last time he was climbing, CT has trouble this
time he's climbing.

Speaker 2 (23:06):
When Zach, when Zach was real big, he had I
mean that's like these big guys struggle.

Speaker 3 (23:11):
Yeah they do. It's a lot of weight to pull
up those bars.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
And then third Heat has CT and a Nissa in it,
or CT and Mikayla and it also has a Nissa
in it, and you know it's it's the heat that
everybody wants to watch because CT has to climb a
box like a big giant stipping container. How does he
do tim He.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
Does better than the last one, although still not very good.
He made it, I don't know, halfway up two Third okay,
three quarters and just couldn't do it, fell off, but
he did, like he made it further than he made
it up the ladder.

Speaker 1 (23:50):
Yeah, well enough for Turbot to go, oh, CT, now
you can climb, huh.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
Not only that he was climbing faster and with a block,
like faster than anyone else up there, and he had
a big, like a twelve x twelve inch block in
between him and the wall.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
So is your point that he could have done better
on the ropes? I mean, like, what, what's the what's
your end point with that?

Speaker 3 (24:11):
You're right, there isn't really much of a point eight.
I really don't want to believe the CT threw the
last one. I don't think he threw I don't think
he did either.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
I just think he was less motivated. I think he
I think he fell once and he's like, oh, fuck it,
why try? Yeah, and this time he was a little
bit more like, oh, I'm going to try because it's
a men'sday.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Yeah, which is just it sucks. I want him to
be better than that.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Yeah, But I still I don't think this is evidence
that he threw the other one, because a ladder's a
different thing. It's out of water is a different thing,
like he'd failed both of them. I don't know, it's
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
