Yeah, so, uh, for those of you that were only
going to appreciate, we're talked about right beforehand that Mark
had mentioned this weekend. So this season was supposed to
be fresh Meat three. But when production took that to
the network, they were like that that's uh.

That's not catchy enough name. We need something more catchy.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Productions like now we've done two of them before, like
the fans will love it, and they're like, yeah, that's
the long ago. Fans won't remember it, like they have
sure attention spans, so the network made them change the name,
but production and the cast were fighting for fresh Meat three.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
So purely for new viewers, I can completely understand them
doing that. I can. I one agree with the network
on the fact that fresh Meat three sounds like a
weird name, but for us OG listeners or OG watchers,
I kind of wish that it was actually fresh Meat.

But the same that's the new threats is a catchier title.

Yeah, I guess catchier. It depends on the audience, right,
because I think there's so many OG vets that would
love to see a Gauntlet or an inferno, and we
sort of know the rules, we sort of know how
those games work, but yeah, we might not ever get
those again if this is if this is a network decision,
they're not going to serve us OG fans, you know.

So the other thing from that weekend is we all
have to start gaining our gain in shape because hopefully
this is a secret. I think we're allowed to say it,
but uh, apparently if.

They started a challenge media, than anyone is allowed.

Speaker 5 (02:24):
To say it. Okay, Uh. Starting twenty twenty six, it's gone.

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Derekloki is starting to do new events where they're gonna
go out to places on weekends and do like an
elimination style tournament of elimination matches where you, as fans
can sign up a and go face off and haul
brawl balls in puzzles. So we need to get in
shape so we could go compete for the podcast.

which were you. You weren't there, Zach and.

CJ was there, but he didn't do the meet and
greet in the room with but didn't meet him.

Yeah, if you're going to be part of Challenge Maney,
it seems kind of pointless that would be part of
Challenge MANI and then not stay for the meet and greet.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
He was a surprise guess that, Like he wasn't promoted
her on the roster and nobody was expecting it. Me
just kind of showed up for a little bit.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Wait, but still, if you're going to show up, then
stay for the meet and greet, Like.

Speaker 5 (04:35):
Yeah, but yeah, that is annoying.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
When I went to the one in Atlanta this year,
A showed up for the stage show but then didn't
stay for the me and greet. And then in uh
it was also in Atlanta, Lekka you know, stayed for
like five ten minutes and then she left before I got.

Speaker 5 (04:50):
A chance to get a photo. With her. She's just like, Okay,
that's fun. I'm bouncing now.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
You didn't get the money. Gotta get the money, right.

Speaker 3 (05:00):
I guess if they're not getting money for it, then
I can understand that staying for the meet and greet.
But yeah, because I assume that everybody's showing up to
these things is getting paid in some way.

I f like Ace was there, like the surprise guest
Leko was actually just there in the audience, and then
Derek went and pulled her up on stage a gotcha,

Well, I guess maybe she's that big of a fan

Okay, Yeah, that's not bad, I guess. I mean, as
you describe it, that's not terrible, I guess, but it
feels weird. It feels weird, yeah, Carly who goes on?

All right? So episode six, we start initially back in
the vans, which is kind of fun. We go straight
into the vans. We've got them split by uh, New
Threats and Vets, and we go straight into one of

(07:36):
Leo's monologues. He's up there talking to the whole the
whole set of New Threat members and we need to
stick together, and we need to make a pact that
you know, we're gonna really try to take out a
VET this time, and you know, no one can, like,
no one can go against that, and if you do,

(07:56):
you're gonna have all of the New Threats going against you.
Like no one's gonna in this. And then we get
a little talking head from Izzy and like everybody in
there is really hyped, and Izzy seems super hyped while
in there. And then we get her little talking head
and this is the first like clue on her of
her saying, you know, Olivia saved me once, so I

(08:16):
have to, like I feel like I need to save
her too, but you know, I still want to go
with this New Threats thing. And then she kind of
leaves it at that, and I was like, just with that, Oh, well,
he's clearly betraying them at some point in time in
this episode.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
Yeah yeah, Eusy shows her true colors pretty quickly and
the immediate Leo, what are you gonna think about Leo?

Speaker 3 (08:38):
I I like Leo, but dude needs to learn to like,
I don't know, he needs to cut the monologues down.
God damn, he's a blow hard guy.

Speaker 4 (08:52):
He's grown on me quite a bit because I feel
like every season we always say, oh, you know, these
rookies need to like band together and take out the vets,
and they never do. And he's like, he's one of
the few that's actually trying really hard. And I don't
think his you know, his boisterousness will serve him well,
like in terms.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
Of winning the game. But I can see him being
a very fun character on the seasons.

Speaker 3 (09:14):
Yeah. No, I'm enjoying watching him and like seeing him
play this game, and it is kind of funny to
see him do this blow hardship. But at the same time,
it just it's like later on in the episode, his
fucking like I had I skipped through it all because
I didn't want to listen to it. It's fast forwarded

like a minute and a half later on in this episode,
because he just did not stop talking.

Speaker 1 (09:40):
Yeah, yeah, no, Zach, I think you summed up exactly
what my thoughts are of Leo. Uh, blow hard guy.
I'm sure that if you if you're in the house,
he's insufferable. I'm sure he's like fucking never shuts up,
and he's probably super annoying watching him on TV. I
I'm rooting for him. I like him. I like he's

fighting for what he thinks is the right thing to do,
and he's trying to get people on his side. He's
like doing the things that we want these rookies to do.
He's just doing it in a super annoying way.

But I also like him.

Yeah, I do too. I think he's fun to watch.
I like as annoying as he is, Like he makes
good TV until he starts monologuing, and then he's annoying TV.
The most part. He makes good TV.

But he's fun, Like they even made that fun and like, yes,
I'm sure if you're there it's annoying, but watching it,
it's fun. Yes.

And I think the monologue on the bus was fun.

I think the monologue later and lay was true it
was much.

Yeah, but it's funny later on because they do the
fast forward thing and then he's still talking about anyway,
we'll get to that. But yeah, we have we have
an is he immediately showing her true colors, at least
to the audience that she is clearly not actually on
the side of the new threats, but whatever. And once

we get back to the house, we have the Vet
ladies are kind of talking to each other minus Anissa,
and they are worried about They're worried about Anissa because
she flip flops all the time. She's also she Olivia
is her number one, and they just they don't think
that she's going to actually stick to what she says

(11:34):
she's going to do or stick to trying to save
any of them, which I mean fair. And then we're
almost immediately into the challenge. Uh. I'm loving this season
for that alone, the fact that they go immediately in

(11:54):
we got it, the fact that we're going immediately into
what's going on in the episode, and then it's almost
immediately into the challenge after that, like there's no downtime
this season. I'm really enjoying that.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
I am too. These are slightly shorter episodes. I think
that helps. But yeah, this was a tight episode, especially
like there was not a lot of fluff in here,
no slow like you know, there might have been drama.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Was necessary drama? Like, Yeah, I agree, I enjoyed this
episode a lot. So the challenge is called ruins My Life.
Such a stupid fucking name. Uh, Zach, you want to
give us a rundown on what the challenge was?

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (12:34):
Yes, best second. So you gotta swim out to a
hanging platform. Once you go out there, yeah, climb up
the ladder. There is like five hanging like cylinders with
the rooms on them.

Speaker 5 (12:48):
Yeah, climb down, get your room. Once you get all five.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
At the other end of the top of the platform,
there's a tanagram puzzle. You gotta finish that and then
jump back in the water and swim back.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
Yep. So it's oh my god, why good lord? No,
I was I was trying to think of TJ's name
and could only think CT and rain fart. Good lord.
So TJ has a quick voiceover saying that the order

(13:25):
is randomly picked, and the first two teams to go
we have CT and his partner Leka, which oh here
really quickly, the rundown on the partners. So we have
MICHAELA and Jeremy Jake and Joanna, Adrian and Derek Turbo
and Tay Aviv and Cedric Will and Ashley Leca and CT,

(13:46):
Gabe and Anissa America and Derek Leroy and Izzy Sydney
and Leo, Nanny and Theo, Justin and d and then
Olivia is the hangnail. So first heat is CT and
Leka up next to Anissa and who did I just say?

(14:06):
Anissa and Gabe and oh my god, right out the
gate like, Leka goes straight up that thing, Gabe goes
straight up the ladder, Anissa surprisingly goes straight up the ladder,
and CT cannot get his ass out of that water

(14:26):
more than like fifteen feet. And there's a bunch of
we get a bunch of cutaways, a bunch of talking
heads of him and Anissa talking about how the last
time CT did heights above water, which was I think
last season. Yeah, he honestly, I don't even remember him falling.

(14:46):
He fell and had to be taken away in an
ambulance because he hit the water wrong.

Speaker 1 (14:51):
I did remember him being cut off in the ambulance,
and I remember it being but I remember the incident.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
You know, I don't remember the incident. I remember him
coming back and everybody's like, oh, you're back, because I
know that we were all worried that he wasn't going
to and then he showed up like nothing was wrong.
But he's got a bunch of talking heads saying, you know,
I this is the first time I've ever been scared
of this kind of thing. And so I think it's
he kind of is psyching himself out and he's kind

(15:19):
of just not able to pull his fat ass out
of his water.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Yeah. I think it's absolutely awful. Yes, he looks like
a tubby piece of shit. But Carl and I, I
think you're right. I think it's Havsi's I think it's
I think it's partially that he's a fat piece of
shit and partially that he's in his head and he's
a little spooked, as we've seen him be fat and
do some pretty miraculous things. Yes, and Anissa did this.

(15:43):
Fucking Anissa did this. You gotta believe ctke in two. Yeah,
but I don't think he threw it, So I think
there's some psychological shit happening.

Yeah, I don't. Sorry, is that go ahead.

I was going to say, I think his way had
a lot to do with it, but very minimal.

I think this was all like.

A combination of being in his head and also not
being a guy's day. And I'm gonna say it because
I was thinking it before Turbo said it. We've had
over four hundred people on the show as of today's
CT biggest pussy chicken and challenge history.

Speaker 5 (16:17):
He's washed. Get him out here.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
Wow, Wow, Zach's pissed.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Yeah. I mean, don't get me wrong.

Speaker 1 (16:27):
I do kind of think there's something about the Women's Day.
There's nothing on the line for CT. I don't think
he threw it again. I don't think he threw it
to get like in there, but I think that there's
not a big incentives. He's sort of struggling at the bottom,
thinking like why, like, there's nothing in it for me here, so.

Speaker 3 (16:44):
Pushing I agree. I think it was partially the like
I because they spent this is the only part of
this entire episode that I was really not super thrilled with.
They spent a solid like eight minutes focusing on the
fact that CT not get his ass up this thing.
They spent so long going over and over and over

the fact that he could not get up this thing.

He could would you just don't want to.

Speaker 3 (17:10):
We're gonna go with you couldn't but whatever.

For that reason, I think we're saying it's it.

So it's just it's one of those like they it's
like they wanted us to really think that he did
throw it. Like that's the impression that I was getting.
But yeah, I mean to see his reaction to not
being able to get up there, to see everyone on
the shores reaction to him not being able to get
up there, like he still helps Leca. So Leka gets up,

she gets all five ruins. She also solves the tanagram
and Cet does help her, but he never actually makes
it up the up the ladder. But yeah, it is.
It's it's wild to see it because he makes it
about halfway at one point in time and then he
starts coming back down. Yeah, so yeah, it really does

(17:57):
feel like he he probably could have made it up
to that thing, but once he made it that halfway
and looked back down and went, oh shit, this is higher.
Like I think a lot of it was psychological.

Speaker 5 (18:10):
Yeah, this was a men's day team except to the
top yep.

I agree with that.

Really, I don't disagree with that, Zach yep I. I
have a feeling that he probably he as much as
he wants to say that the girl's Day didn't play
into it, I completely agree that it did because I
think that it was the psychological thing. If he got
up there, he got halfway up that ladder and looked
down and said thought to himself, oh, shit, is so

much higher. Why am I going to put myself in
a potential position where I can get hurt again when
I'm not the one who, like I won't be up
for elimination, Like this isn't it's not important to really
finish this. I mean it is for my partner, but
it isn't for me. Yeah, it just all around. It
just was not a good look for someone who has

been a challenge champ for so long.

I think that might have been the worst part of
it for CT of just yes, there's people that are
sitting there looking at him, like I think I think
it was Leo that said, like, dude, you've won four
of the last seven you've been on it, and you
can't climb a fucking rope and paired with uh, you know,
the video of him just looking like it just a
gross tub of shit out there on the thing, like

he didn't throw this, This was not he wouldn't do
this on purpose to get on TV and look like.

Speaker 3 (19:30):
He's never been one to throw challenges.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Carl he throws challenges often, but he but he does
it purposefully and he admits it, and.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
He's never been one to throw a challenge and try
to do it covertly like make it look like he's
never been one to throw a challenge like Johnny Bananas
would throw a challenge.

Especially in the Confessionals especially, he'll just be like, yeah,
I fucking threw it. We needed to lose because we
needed to drop that part. Like he's really pretty blatant.

Yeah, and he's usually when he's throwing a challenge, he
does the shit of like what was it the a
few seasons ago. I think it was with Kyle where
they were on like on a platform behind a motorbike
or motor a motor boat and had to like get
around each other and kind of like, oh, oh, which
way are you going? And then he just kind of
like dove off to the side. It's like he's always

been very blatant when he's throwing his challenges.

So yeah, I kept happening.

We get like a confessional of him being like, no,
I didn't throw this, and then like winking at us,
because that could at least be like, all right, this
is gameplay, like he's making sure that a rookie goes in.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
But yeah, instead, it was just another just another showing
of how pathetic these old people are, because Leroy struggled
to and Derek and yeah, these yeah, these new kids
fucking whipped it right out. And these old guys that
we all like struggling.

Speaker 4 (20:53):
Yeah, I wish Wolfe is here because you know, lately
Bananas has been getting beating challenges and Wolfie likes to
call to quit this full feet.

Speaker 5 (21:00):
This is what it quit looks like.

It quit looks like, Oh this is quit. Yeah, they're still.

So we Oh. We also get a Nissa saying that
she's so good at tanagrams and then completely fucking failing
on the tanagram.

Dude, she keeps fucking up puzzles this season, and she's
like she's old too. I guess even puzzle people. They
loves their marine as they get old.

Speaker 3 (21:32):
Well, he and Ashley they both sucked up puzzles this.

Speaker 1 (21:35):
Season, right, these people that these puzzle like these are
our puzzle people. What the fuck? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (21:40):
I feel like I'm getting I feel like I'm mean
old because I don't remember Anissa being good at puzzles
like all this being a puzzle master. I always remember
like being goodt eliminations because she had a size advantage
over the women, but not necessarily good puzzles.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
She was.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
She's always been good at tanagrams. I will give her that.
Like there have been multiple seasons where she has been
given a tannagram and like pulls it out quickly. But yeah,
this it just for her to say, oh, I'm so
gonna put tannagrams, but you know this one, this is
one of those weird ones that if you don't get
the right pieces in the right way. I was like,

(22:18):
oh God, really cool, Like, just don't say that you're
you're the queen of tannagrams. That's what you have to do.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
She's always got excuses. Yeah, but I do think, yeah,
she's I agree with you, Zach. I don't think it's
ever been like amazing at puzzles, but that's been her
thing because she's not great at other physical stuff. So
she you know, she says, well, at least I'm really
good at puzzles, and she's probably above average. But yeah,
it's not supermission, no.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
No, because yeah, CT, like I said, CT even helps
Leka from the water, and Leka finishes, finishes the whole
course and finishes the puzzle before Anissa and Gabe finish
their puzzle and all on her own. Yep, So that
was that was pretty impressive. LEAs showing in this episode

was very impressive, and everybody on the on the shore
thinks it is too. So then we've got oh, Anissa
at some she's Anissa had a lot of talking heads
this episode, and this was the first one that was
kind of like, girl, what are you? What are you
talking about? She says that she's really liked by a

lot of people and that's one of the reasons why
she goes so far in these games or something of that,
like she's really liked by a lot of people and
that she's really hard to manipulate. And I'm just like
I I I don't think I agree with you on
those statements.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
Yeah, and the rest of this episode proves her wrong
that yes she's uh, she's like not as smart as
she thinks she is, Like people know what her game.

Speaker 3 (23:52):
Is here, yes, one thousand. So yeah, it was just
it was it was weird her talking heads this season.
I've been odd. So then we've got uh. Leroy and
Izzy are part of the next heat, and I didn't
take I didn't actually write down every all of the
heats because most of them weren't all that entertaining. But

Leroy and Izzy are the only team to basically not finish.
They get four runs, they have like a minute left
and the last room Izzy jumps for and falls into
the water, but ultimately they don't even get up to
the tannagram. They like they just don't finish. So Leka

kind of hope and like hopefully this means that that is,
he's going to be the one in the bottom and
not made.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
It seems like Leroy accepts that this is his fault,
like like he's.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
Yeah, but it wasn't LeRoy's fault because he got three
of the five and is he got the like barely
got the other one.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Yeah, but doesn't he talk about like his hands can't
do it? Like he's he also can't pick up his partner.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
Slack, And yeah, I mean he can't pick up his
partner slack. But he's with a partner who should have
been able to at least get two. Yeah, so I
don't know, uh, we've got oh. And then the last
round is all it's the two rookie rookie teams. So
it's de and Justin up next to Leo and Sydney

(25:25):
and this round is so awesome to watch. They crush
this round yep. And Leo in one of the one
of the pieces of the OBSTA, of course, is a
is a big, giant like cargo net, and he has
Sydney up at the top swing the cargo net to
him as he's standing on one of the other ones,

and he just pulls the cargo net up and grabs
the room and drops the cargo net, something that no
one else thought to do. And Ashley in her little
talking head is like, ah, such a such a bad
like why didn't I think of that? And then they
do a like a vet card revoked thing, which I
thought was kind of funny.

Yep, this is this is classic like CT Johnny Banana's

we we started out as partners and then we became

nice to see that progression of their relationship.
