Hey everyone, welcome to another episode of the Parks and
Passports Podcast. Brian Bonnador, Eric Hyles, I'm Mike Mac. We've
got a special episode for you today. I guess we
could say just the three best friends today on this episode.
But how are you guys doing before we get into
our big news here?

Speaker 5 (00:54):
Doing good?

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Honestly, you know, feeling good?

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Yeah, brle, I feel like.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
We haven't talked to him while it's it has been
a hot minute, hasn't Yes, Brian's been off doing other things.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Yeah, well, you know, life, life happens, It finds a way,
as the Great Jeff Goldbloom says, Yeah, Eric, Eric and
I we we saw each other recently. How have you
been since our cruise? Just a couple of weeks ago.
That feels like months ago at this point.

Speaker 6 (01:25):
Yeah, it does. Feel like months ago. But it's definitely
not been boring at all. I know, I'm super busy
trying to catch up with everything that I had to
do after the cruise after being gone for four or
five days, and then work is piling on top of that,
and you know, it is sale season and things are
starting to kick in with sailing, book ginggs and munch

(01:47):
of the stuff like that too on the travel side
of the house.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
So yeah, I mean, like I said, life just sort
of you know, has things pop up every now and then.
So it's definitely been a busy, especially now the holiday season.
Like Brian, you mentioned Winter is Winter is coming to
go full Game of Thrones on you. This is busiest
time of year for so many you know, for so

(02:11):
many people for so many different reasons, but like in
the travel industry too, like it's just a crazy time
of year. So yeah, we are all very busy right now.
But like I said, special kind of episode. I mean,
by now you probably saw the episode title, but yeah,
this is our final episode sort of, this will be

(02:32):
the last time you find us CO podcast.

Speaker 6 (02:35):
What was that, Eric, I said, be careful, it's not
our final episode.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
It's just our final episode.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Of channel right right right sort of.

Speaker 4 (02:42):
Yeah, you won't find us on the Chip and Co
Podcast network anymore. Going forward, however, you will be able
to find the Parks and Passports podcasts wherever you get
your podcasts. Well, we'll get that all worked out. We
don't know exactly when we will be releasing new episodes,
but we will become out with new episodes in the future.
So if you've been listening, if you like hearing from

(03:04):
Destinations to travel advisors and other special guests and all
of our shenanigans, we will have more of that coming
for you, so don't don't worry. But again, this will
be the last time you hear us here on the
Parks on the Chip and Co Podcast network. So yeah,
we just wanted to, you know, pop in one more
time and let you guys know that, you know, we'll

(03:25):
talk a little bit about what the show is going
to look like in the future, which, by the way,
I mean we don't really know for sure just yet.
We have an idea, but we'll talk through through that
a little bit here, and then we of course have
have another game. We're not gonna even if this is
a special final ish episode, We're not going to get
through it without a ridiculous game to play later on.

(03:46):
So but yeah, let's let's talk about what we are
thinking this show is going to be in the future.
I mean, you know what we do is we share
our travel experiences. Really, we talk about, you know, what
we've what's going on in the world of parks, the
Disney parks, the Universal parks, and then sometimes we get
into some other some other.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Fun travel stuff.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
So we'll still talk news, just probably less of it, uh,
you know, not gonna get into the nitty gritty of
like a new restaurant offering chicken fingers or something. But
if there's some big, big parks news, we'll definitely talk
about that, and then you know, mix in some other
travel news things with Sandals and Royal Caribbean and you know,

(04:31):
all sorts of other uh, cruise lines and other.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Travel suppliers will we'll be talking about.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
So, yeah, it's gonna be it's gonna be a little
bit different for sure, but I'm looking forward to it,
howbout you guys.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
I mean, I'm definitely looking forward to it. I mean,
it's definitely it's gonna be the same. It's gonna be
the same thing it's just you know, like you said,
we're gonna get nitty gritty of Oh well we got
you know, Dynamite tenders versus Dino tenders.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
You know that kind of thing.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
Yeah, yeah, it's gonna be new and improved, a new change.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
I like that.

Speaker 6 (05:02):
I like it better more more Brian trying to pronounce
a lot of French names.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Could we maybe steer away from that just a little bit.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
I was gonna say, I was gonna say, we're gonna
get away from the menu changes.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
But don't worry.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
You'll still have Brian pronouncing some of these new menu items,
because that's uh well, honestly, that's a favorite of just
me and Eric, I think nobody else. But we enjoyed
enough to continue it.

Speaker 5 (05:29):
It's going to become a thing.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
Oh it's a thing. It's already a thing.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
We don't talk over top of these there's so much anymore.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Now that we will not work out. That's just going
to be part of the show going forward forever. We
of course, will have our special guests on as well.
You'll hear from destinations to travel advisors who are far
more experienced when it comes to travel then, at least
than Brian and I.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
I know, Eric, you've done quite a bit of travel
over the years as well.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
But you know, we we have a lot of experienced
travel advisors who have a lot of insights to share,
and you'll be hearing from them in the future as
you have been, you know, in previous episodes. Like Brian said,
it's gonna be a lot of the same thing, but
just a little bit a little bit different, little tweaks
here and there. And it also it kind of feels like,

(06:16):
you know, the mom and dad aren't home right like
we we have. We have full creative control, so we're
just gonna be you know, it's it's gonna be more
of our nonsense. And like I said, our games will
still be a part of it, so we'll still have
plenty of that.

Speaker 5 (06:31):
It'll be more Brian Unleashed.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Yes see, I'm okay with that. I'm all for that.

Speaker 4 (06:37):
That will make that the subtitle Parks and Passports Brian.

Speaker 5 (06:40):
Unleashed, Revenge of Brian.

Speaker 1 (06:47):
These are just Jason Vorhe's titles, aren't they.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
Brian Strikes Back.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
But yeah, so, like like I said, it's gonna be uh,
we're still gonna iron out the details on when you'll
be hearing new episodes from us, but we will have
new episodes coming again. Just look for parks and passports
wherever you get your past. And yeah, again, more of
the same nonsense and shenanigans, as well as lots of

(07:17):
experienced travel advisors sharing their insights, their tips and tricks.
I mean, when it comes to the Disney and Universal
parks here in Orlando, I will share all of the
insights on that, but beyond that, I don't get out much.
It's just it's pretty much just those parks. But yeah,
speaking of games and nonsense, I do have a game.

(07:39):
Like I said for this episode, we weren't going to
have our final episode on the Chip and Co podcast
network without one more fun game.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
So you guys ready for a draft? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Yeah, I mean every episode you gotta have a game.
You have to have a game. It's a thing.

Speaker 5 (07:56):
You have to have it.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
Agreed, agreed, I like it or not, sure.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
And we have had our share of bad games for sure,
no questions, and I'm sure we will have some more
in the future, but we'll also have plenty of good ones.
So I think personally, I think this is a good one.
Uh So we are going to be drafting a Disney park.
So we're gonna be building our own Disney park here,
and this is gonna be a categories draft. So we

(08:24):
have to draft one thrill ride, one family ride, one show,
and one restaurant to build our park around. These can
be drafted in any order, so there's a lot of
like strategicy at play. Uh so you can you can,
you know, we'll figure things out as we go. But yeah, so,
like I said, those four categories, we're gonna do a
snake draft, so we'll go back and forth to keep

(08:45):
things kind of even. I did lay out some ground rules. Uh,
these all have to be existing attractions. We're not like
trying to on the spot come up with our own attractions.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Which we could do. That's that's a whole future game,
Like that's we do a whole episode on that.

Speaker 6 (09:01):
Butting that actually have to physically exist in a park
or could it be a concept?

Speaker 1 (09:07):
I was thinking physically existing.

Speaker 4 (09:11):
I guess if it's a concept that we Yeah, I
guess if it's a concept that we know is happening
like soon, then I guess that's allowed. Although is that
really gonna work in your favor because we don't know
if that's a good attraction yet, but you know, well
you can talk about it when we get there.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
It doesn't matter anyway my draft.

Speaker 4 (09:31):
Well, speaking of let's go Brian, Eric and then me,
just because that's the way I haven't written down in
my notes here. Brian, you get the first pick, and
you can go with any category a thrill ride, a
family ride, a show, a restaurant.

Speaker 3 (09:45):
I I feel like I need to go with a
family ride for my first joke. Yeah, because I feel
that's probably the one that, you know, it probably has
the most danger of being picked. I'm gonna go with
uh Pirates for my family ride.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
Oh okay, there are a few attractions out there that
I think could go, Like, I think Pirates could be
considered a thrill ride, but I you know, it could
also be considered a family ride. I actually just I
was hanging out with some friends recently and they have
a seven month old baby that they have taken on
Pirates of the Caribbean multiple times, and that blew my mind.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
I did not know that was allowed. And she loves it.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
She yeah, yeah, there's there was no issue that they
just she just lap sits and then they you know,
they're good and she loved it. They said, so, so, yeah,
you could definitely be considered a family ride. I do
think with those drops it could be a thrill ride.
But I yeah, I think this is allowed and it's
a good first pick the Classic Disney True.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
True.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
The reason why I was thinking family ride is because,
you know, it's there's a lot of seats. You don't
need a seat belt or anything for it, right, So
it's kind of like more of like a you know,
it kind of coast along the ride as you go
at this, it's a family ride. That's that's that was
my mindset with that. But with those drops there, yeah,
I'd say that has some thrill.

Speaker 5 (11:05):
To it too.

Speaker 4 (11:06):
There's a thrill element to it for sure. But yeah,
I do think it's definitely a fair pick for a
family ride. Okay, it's a good it's a strong start. Eric,
Where are you going now?

Speaker 6 (11:17):
Uh? You know I'm going to jump ahead and pick
a restaurant or a show that could technically be a
restaurant too.

Speaker 5 (11:25):
Review.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Oh nice, Okay, it's a good choice.

Speaker 5 (11:30):
I'm a huge hoopie.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Do you know what, I'll give you the choice. Do
you want to count this as your show or as
your restaurant.

Speaker 6 (11:37):
You know what, I'll count it as my show because
I can come up with a much better or cooler
restaurant until Brian tries to steal it from me, because
you'll go before me on that one. But I will
stick with I will stick that with that as a
show because there's really no other show like it. It
is definitely a participatory show and it is something that

(11:58):
the audience really gets into.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
Yeah, so I my first time going to Whop You
Do was with you, Eric, and I'll be honest, I
expected not to really love it. I expected to like
the food because you know, a fried chicken and corn
bread and mashed potato like it's it's good food. I
expected that I wasn't going to be crazy about the show,
and that wasn't true. It was very, very funny. I

(12:21):
really enjoyed it. So I do really like that show.
I think that's a good pick.

Speaker 1 (12:27):
Okay.

Speaker 6 (12:29):
I did see you tearing up when they were singing
like Shenandoah Valley and stuff with a couple.

Speaker 5 (12:34):
See really emotional.

Speaker 4 (12:37):
I think I was too focused on shooting video to
even feel any emotion at that point. And that was
after that was at the end the tail end of
a long event, Wasn't it was that our the.

Speaker 1 (12:48):
Lighthouse Point cruise? Was that that event?

Speaker 5 (12:51):
Yes? It was.

Speaker 4 (12:52):
Yeah, that was just like an exhausting few days. So
I don't even know if I was awake for half
of it, but I definitely enjoyed the parts of the
show that I saw. Okay, so we got a family
ride off the board and a show off the board,
but I think both of them could be in multiple categories.
So that's interesting. Puts me in an interesting spot here
with back to back picks. I man, I don't know,

(13:15):
I don't know where I want to go here. I
think I will man family ride is tough. There are
some good choices, but I think I'm gonna go I'm
gonna take my thrill ride, and it's also gonna double
as my park Icon because I'm gonna take the Tower
of Terror. I think that is as perfect, or as
close to perfect as an attraction has been for Disney.

(13:35):
I think it's it's just it's got the spooky elements,
it's got you know, obviously the thrill, so Tower of Terror,
and then you know, it's just such a great facade
and like I said, park Icon, So I will take
that with my first pick, which I mean leaves a
lot of really great thrill rides on the board, but

(13:56):
use yeah, there's so many, there's so many to choose from.
But now I'm going to take my restaurant. Since neither
one of you have taken a restaurant here. I mean,
I don't think either one of you would take this one.
But when I think of restaurant, I want the food
to be really really good, obviously, but I also want
over the top, incredible theming. And there's one restaurant that

(14:17):
I think fits that bill more than any others, and
it's Space two twenty at Epcot.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
So that's gonna be my my restaurant pick.

Speaker 6 (14:26):
And you, briand me, I was, oh, really that one
and separate, separate off you Brian, me right there with
that one.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
I like that that is the term. It's just brianded.

Speaker 6 (14:38):
Absolutely man restaurant because it's like, by far one of
my favorite all time restaurants.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
Oh wow, nice. Yeah, it's so good. The food is
really really good, and it it feels like it would
be one of those gimmicky restaurants that's just like about
the atmosphere and the theming and everything but the food
is actually really great, the drinks are really great.

Speaker 6 (14:56):
So it does have a it does have a lovely
ride component to it, So it does, yes, technically a restaurant,
but it does have a wee bit of a show
to it.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Brian, have you tried Space two twenty?

Speaker 5 (15:14):
Not yet?

Speaker 1 (15:15):
No? Oh okay, yeah, we gotta get you over there.

Speaker 5 (15:18):
Yeah we do.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
By the way.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
For restaurant, I did consider just going with a bar,
but I figured I should probably get some food, so
it might be uh my Space twenty was probably a
better pick than like G eighty two or Beacon Barrel,
But all.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
Right, we'd yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Back to you, Eric, you've got hooped you do as
your show? Thrill ride, family ride, restaurant. What are you
gonna go with next? Hmmm.

Speaker 6 (15:44):
I'm torn on this one because I'm trying to decide
if the ride that I was gonna pick is a
throw ride or a family ride.

Speaker 1 (15:51):
Okay, well we can we can discuss.

Speaker 6 (15:55):
Okay, yeah, maybe you guys can come help me come
up with the category. But I would say Rise of
the Resistance.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
I would say I would say thrill. I think.

Speaker 4 (16:06):
You know what, let's look into it, because I think
there's a height restriction on it isn't there? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (16:11):
There is, but there is no. I think it's just
for the the drop portion of it. But there's not
really any huge, like super thrilling component. It's just the
cool shirlt I experience attraction, which.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
I mean you have multiple seating right, you know, I
can't remember. Does that does that already have seat belts
on it?

Speaker 5 (16:32):
Or no?

Speaker 2 (16:32):
I think it does?

Speaker 5 (16:33):
It does? It does not? It does?

Speaker 1 (16:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (16:37):
Okay, yeah, and forty inch height restriction.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
I would consider it a thrill ride.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
I think is there a height restriction on pirates or no, No,
there's not, because yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
If there is, it's shorter than a six I was
gonna say.

Speaker 4 (16:54):
Twelve inches. Yeah, yeah, I don't know. I mean, do
you guys, do you have any sort of pushback there?
I think it's a thrill ride. I mean.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
I would kind of constitute thrill ride. But I could
see the argument for both.

Speaker 6 (17:15):
You're going to put it through a ride category firmly,
so that means I have a restaurant and a family
ride to go.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
Got it makes makes sense since Brian already has his
family ride too. So and Brian, we are back to
you now with with back to back picks you have,
like I said, Family Ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, where
you're going next?

Speaker 1 (17:35):
Oh man, So it gets harder than you think it does.

Speaker 2 (17:39):
It does because there's so much.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
There's so much to choose from.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
My gosh.

Speaker 3 (17:46):
I mean for the thrill ride, I have to go
with Expedition Everest.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
I have to.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:54):
Yeah, I wish I've seen that one coming.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
I mean yeah, because like, you can't not pick exper Neverest.
If that was the ride that you've ridden like fifteen
times in a row and made a legendary story out
of it, right, you gotta choose it.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Yeah, that is a good pick.

Speaker 3 (18:10):
But that's that's gonna be my icon. That's gonna be
the thrill ride I would want. My second closest one
of them probably would have been Tron, but I haven't
ridden Drawn yet. I heard it's really really good. That
was it was. It was a battle between those two.
But yeah, I'm going for Explish Neverest.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
Yeah. I like that.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
That's you know, it's one of the best coasters in
in the Orlando area. So and when you think a
thrill thrill ride, coaster is what comes to mind, right,
So and plus you know, also kind of doubles as
your park icon. Like I said with Tower of Terror
that I mean that big mountain is just perfect. It's
it's one of the most you know, beautiful pieces of
scenery in any Disney park.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
And we're not with Yetty and we're not going to
say and we're not gonna have disco yetti.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
We're gonna have the yetti fixed and it's going to
be working.

Speaker 1 (19:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
Listen, you have you only have two attractions to maintain
in your park. I think you can handle the YETI.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Oh man, yeah.

Speaker 4 (19:12):
Here show a restaurant. Yeah, your choice here which I
have a restaurant and Eric has a show. And so
I mean you're leaving either restaurant or show as the
last pick of the draft.

Speaker 3 (19:21):
I think my show. I feel pretty safe with the
show option. Oh no, I don't feel so. I don't
feel safe with the with the restaurant option. So I
think I might have to choose a restaurant.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
And okay, I'm I'm I'm.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
Gonna pick Lecelier.

Speaker 1 (19:38):
You know what.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
I considered it, even though we have talked about on
this podcast that I have not tried it, but I
know how popular it is and and honestly for the
thought of potentially just stealing it from one of you two,
but yeah, I figured that was going to come from
one of you.

Speaker 6 (19:54):
Yeah, that is a good, solid pick. Haven't had a
problem there ever in what I've gone so not.

Speaker 4 (20:00):
Well, still have to go. I still have to go.
And you know what, it's funny. I'm going to Apcott
in a couple of days. No chance I'm eating at Leslier.
It's the first first day I'm going to the Festival
of the Holidays. I have too much food to try
around World Showcase. So and that's my problem every time
I go to Epcott, it's just more festival food to try.

Speaker 6 (20:17):
And so, Mike, Michael Clier would be technically a dinner date.
So I would suggest a nice dinner date here in
the future.

Speaker 1 (20:24):
I yeah, are you are you asking me out? Is
that what?

Speaker 4 (20:27):
That?

Speaker 5 (20:27):
Help? Ask your wife out and go with her?

Speaker 1 (20:32):
I just I wasn't sure if you were offering. I
didn't know. We have a one year old. We get
no time for dinner dates anymore.

Speaker 4 (20:39):
That's why they have Yeah, that's fair, all right, Eric,
Back to you now your third pick. You have a
thrill ride. You have a show, family Rider, restaurant. What
are you going with?

Speaker 6 (20:52):
Ummm, I'm gonna go Wait, do we determine that it
was thrill?

Speaker 5 (20:58):
Yes, we did.

Speaker 6 (20:58):
Because of Okay, so I'm going to go with family. No,
I'm going to go with restaurant, and I am going
to pick the California Girl.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
Nice.

Speaker 6 (21:08):
Yeah, all right, because you can't get more like better
food in the park, more food than Brian will never
be able to pronounce or order. And it's just a
fantastic view of the entire you know, the entire property
from up there.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
If my heart's in it, I'll count it, and I
will count it as being pronounced correctly. If my heart's
in it, there you go.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Yeah. I mean.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
Whether or not you're correct, it just depends on how
confident you say it.

Speaker 2 (21:36):
That's exactly exactly give me them as car gottss Car goes. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (21:48):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
Well, I'm I'm happy my show came back to me
because once I made my last pick, I panicked because
I realized, oh no, I should have taken Happily. Ever after,
I feel like that's not going to come back to me.
But that is my show, without a doubt. I think
that is in my opinion the best Disney fireworks show
that has existed, and that's what I want. I want
that that nighttime spectacular, that Happily ever After it is.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
So I'm glad that came.

Speaker 5 (22:11):
Back to me.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
Uh Now it gets tough because I have no idea
what I want to choose for my my family ride.
So you guys, you guys, tell me what you think
about Happily ever After while I think about it a
little bit here.

Speaker 5 (22:24):
Hmm, it's a fireworks show. Yeah, yeah, I'll say that it.

Speaker 6 (22:31):
Does have a lot of some emotional component to it,
and the projections can be a little a little teary
up through.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
The music the music.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
Yes, all right, I.

Speaker 4 (22:42):
Got I got a big I kind of wanted to
see how long you guys would go just just kind
of saying words about just like the general elements of
the show. But okay, I'm I have family, right. I
I could go with something classic. You know, you could
get your It's a Small World, you could get it.
You know a lot of other classic Disney attractions. I'm

(23:02):
gonna go with the one that I ride the most
and like by far the most, and it's the People Mover.
That's just you know, to me is like the ultimate
family ride because anyone can go on it. So I'm
taking the People Mover as my my family ride in
my final pick.

Speaker 5 (23:17):
That's a good, solid choice. I was going to pick
that something else.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
Nice I stole to Eric picks.

Speaker 5 (23:28):
Double Brian.

Speaker 2 (23:28):
He double Brian. He doubled down on the Brian.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Uh, you're learning, Mike, hold back on some of the
jokes that I was going to make. But we we are.

Speaker 6 (23:46):
Eric.

Speaker 4 (23:46):
We are back to you for your final pick, which
again family Ride, which I just stole from you. Do
you need some time for us to just kind of
say generalities about People Mover?

Speaker 6 (23:54):
To do that if I get torture you so to
see how many how long you can talk about wheels?

Speaker 2 (24:00):
A lot of people are a lot of people, and
they've got to move.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
They got to move, you know, and it moves people arounds.

Speaker 1 (24:09):
Right.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
The guy got some blue in there. It's a nice color.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
There's some blue.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
There's there's voiceover, there's an audio track that accompanies this attraction.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Get you out of the sun, you know.

Speaker 6 (24:24):
Nice, I think I have mine, And just because it's
it's an oldie, but a goldie, I'm gonna go with
Spaceship Earth.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
I actually I considered that too because of the park
Icon side of it. But you know, if I hadn't
already gone Tower of Terror, I might have gone with
Spaceship Earth.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
I like it a lot.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
I want to say this, Eric, you just pulled to Brian.
Oh you just pulled a Brian.

Speaker 5 (24:53):
The crowd goes wild.

Speaker 4 (24:56):
Well, Brian, you only have your show left to pick anyway,
so you were you were kind of stuck without Spaceship Earth.

Speaker 3 (25:01):
Yeah, I thought I had that safe dangan Brian. Well,
let's see, I did have a second choice lined up
for that, just in case, you know, something happened and
it did. I'm going with the American Adventure.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
For my show.

Speaker 1 (25:21):
Yeah, okay, yeah, that is a one.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
Every time I go to Epcot, we got to see
it every time at least once, because it's just it.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
I love history. I'm a history buff.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
I guess you could say I'm patriotic, but it's just
two brothers.

Speaker 1 (25:42):
But it's just they don't start singing. Just in general,
let's not let's not go down.

Speaker 3 (25:49):
But it's just it's it's always memorable every time you
see it, and I think that's kind of like it's
a it's a staple, it's it's iconic, you never forget it.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
I I I might have mentioned this, and it's funny
because this is episode what twenty one and I'm like
already forgetting the stuff we've talked about on this podcast.
But I may have mentioned in the past. I got
to do it behind the scenes tour at around the
Waltersney World Parks once and got to see how that
attraction works. And I'll be honest, before doing that, I

(26:20):
was not all that interested. I had seen the show
a couple of times, may have nototted off a couple
times while watching it, But having seen how that attraction
works and getting to see like the behind the scenes
stuff of that, like renewed interest in that attraction. It's
really really cool. So if you ever get a chance
to check out behind the scenes, yes, yeah, and to
see that whole stage move is really impressive. So yeah,

(26:46):
American Adventure, I like it all right. I'll run through
our lineups here. Brian's got Expedition Everest as the thrill
Ride Pirates to the Caribbean as Family Ride, American Adventure
as a show, and Lescelier as his restaurant Eric has
Rides of the Resistance as a thrill ride, Spaceship Earth
is his family ride. Hoop do you do as a
show in California? Grill as his restaurant, which, by the way,

(27:08):
you get the best food, having basically snuck two restaurants
into there, and then I have Tower of Terror as
my thrill ride, People Mover as my family ride, Happily
ever After as my show, and Space two twenty as
my restaurant. Did you guys have any others that you
were like really having a tough time deciding between?

Speaker 6 (27:28):
Yeah? Absolutely, I had mine thinking about best thrill ride
was going to be Guardians of the Galaxy.

Speaker 4 (27:35):
Yeah, yeah, Guardians was on there for me. I actually
was considering Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway as my family ride,
just because I think, you know, getting Mickey in your
family ride makes the most sense. I guess that's the
Disney experience, right, But yeah, just had you know, People
Mover is what I ride, and those who watch my
live streams know, like, if I'm at Magic Kingdom, if

(27:57):
we're gonna ride something, it's it's People Mover, So enjoy
watching it for the thirtieth time. Brian, would about you
any others that you were considering.

Speaker 2 (28:06):
Yeah, I was.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
I was considering rock and roller Coaster, but that's kind of,
you know, not current right now. I was like, I'm
kind of jipped out on that. But then also I
was thinking about the Great Movie Ride, but that's not
here anymore, unfortunately.

Speaker 1 (28:21):
Fair. Yeah, yeah, that would have been.

Speaker 2 (28:24):
That would have been a good one. Would you count that? No,
family right? You count that as a show?

Speaker 1 (28:29):
I would say family ri.

Speaker 4 (28:32):
I mean, I think the way it functions, yeah, it's
it's tough. I could see how you would argue it
as a show, but it does have elements with the
live actor and things like that. But I think I
would basically, if you get in a vehicle and it moves,
it's a ride. Yeah, I guess sure, which which which
does bring a question for Carousel of Progress, but we

(28:52):
don't need to get into that.

Speaker 3 (28:54):
Oh man, I ah, that was That was the other
one I was gonna pick too, in the.

Speaker 6 (29:01):
Way that you cannot classify, oh, alien extraterrestrial as a
family attraction.

Speaker 5 (29:10):
Right right?

Speaker 4 (29:11):
Yes, If there was one attraction I wish I could
experience again, that would be the one. No fireworks, I'd
bring that back from you guys, huh No, no firework love.
There's firework love, But I just I feel like that
some of the shows are kind of I mean, you
see some fireworks, you've kind of seen them all, I

(29:33):
guess fair. But each firework show is it's got some
differences with the music behind it, times up with the
actual firework showcases what really brings it all together? Yeah,
and then you know, talk about some of the other
elements they implement with projection and lately with drones.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
I mean, there's a.

Speaker 4 (29:52):
Lot of a lot of cool stuff they can do
with the nighttime spectaculars.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
All right.

Speaker 6 (29:58):
By the Throne show with the they christening naming cruise, that.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Was right sweet, Yes it was.

Speaker 4 (30:03):
I wish we had gotten to see it in person
and not in the theater, but you know, the video
was still very cool to watch.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
All right.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
So we are still going to wrap up this episode
with our deal of the week, and right now, speaking
of the Disney Destiny, you can book an eligible Disney
cruise by January eighteenth, twenty twenty six, because we are
already at that point it is December second as of
this recording, so and pay only half of the deposit
on the day you make your reservation, so you know

(30:34):
you don't have to break the bank to make your
Disney Cruise line reservation right now, which again I think
Eric and I will will talk about the Disney Destiny
all day every day after that experience, so you can
book a Disney Destiny cruise as part of that. So
