And have some fun along the way. Be sure to
keep all hands, arms, feet, and legs inside the vehicle
at all times.
Speaker 4 (00:25):
It's gonna be a wild ride. Hey everyone, welcome to
another episode of the Parks and Passports Podcast.
Speaker 5 (00:40):
Eric Kyles is here, Greetings and salutations.
Speaker 1 (00:44):
Brian Bonadora is here. Hello, Hello, and I'm Mike mac
we Uh.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
It's just the three of us, just the three best
friends that anyone could have, just right here. No special
guest today because Brian will be filling the role of
our special guest.
Speaker 5 (01:00):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
He has a special trip report to share with us.
We are of course going to be talking about some
some Disney and Universal news, but our main topic in
this episode is going to get outside of that realm.
We're also going to have a fun draft later on,
and of course we'll have our Deal of the week.
But like I said, Brian is are filling our guest
(01:21):
role for this episode, so we of course don't need
you to do the lightning round questions again, so instead.
Speaker 5 (01:29):
Yeah, he's quite the guest though.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
Yeah, for us.
Speaker 5 (01:35):
He's the guest that soils all of your bathroom towels
and stuff like that and uses all your soap.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
I replace it, I mean I try.
Speaker 5 (01:44):
How do you replace?
Speaker 3 (01:46):
Did you just go to the end of the room take.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
It from that, just fill it from the other bathroom.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
Yeah, it's just dish soap in all my bathrooms now.
But yeah, we have Brian again filling the role of
the this episode. So, Brian, we want to go with
another controversial opinion. You have one for us?
Speaker 2 (02:07):
I do A couple of minutes ago, I didn't, but
I do now.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
Yeah, So.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
My controversial opinion. And I feel like there's a lot
of people that may agree with this. There's probably a
good handful of people that don't. But a lot of
these new updated theme park rides, they all are steering
away from traditional animatronics, and they're all going towards screens
in like the three D effects and whatnot. And while
(02:36):
those are cool, I feel that they're going too overboard
with it. So, like take like the Jurassic World ride
for example, that first part before originally when it was
just the Jurassic Park ride. You had the animatronic dinosaurs
as you were going through, and now you have screens
of the mosasaurus as you're going through, and it's just
(02:57):
kind of like it's it's a different feel. Not saying
that it's it's a it's a bad thing, but it's
in my personal opinion, I don't really care for it
too much. I feel it takes a bit of the
magic away from it, that the realistic feeling, if you
know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
So it's totally get that.
Speaker 5 (03:16):
Yeah, and I totally get it too. And it's kind
of like going back into the early two thousands, right
with some Universal attractions where it's just nothing with screens,
and I don't know, it feels it feels cheating to me, right, yeah,
Like it's like it's easy out, you know, yeah, because
you don't have to worry about the screen breaking down,
(03:37):
and if it does end up stop working, it's an easy.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
Fix compared to.
Speaker 5 (03:43):
Like writing a movie. I mean, if I wanted to
write a movie, I just go pay for the motion
seats at my local movie theater exactly.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
I will say, I think my favorite attractions are the
ones that utilize both and like kind of blend them together.
I think it's some of the new Harry Potter or
some of the Harry Potter attractions in general, even going
back to Forbidden Journey, I think does a really good
job of blending those elements.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
So yeah, I get it.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
I think there's a lot of people on your side
with that, Brian. I think a lot of people are
kind of sick of the use of screens, the over
use of screens. And it's funny because we have some
news that we'll talk about that we'll be uh be
exciting for the fans of animatronics, so we'll get there.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
All right, yeah, yeah, yeah, actually, very very fresh news
as of this recording. Uh So that's that's, you know,
something fun we'll talk about a little bit later. But
like I said, we're stepping out of the realm of
the usual Disney and Universal theme parks today for this episode,
because Brian, you recently got to go out to Sandal's
South Coast and I want to hear all about it,
(04:44):
So tell us about it.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
How was First of all, what were your first impressions
of the resort and what do you think overall? How
was How was this trip.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
Well, the trip was great.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
It was my first time out of the country, so
little nervous about going through customs and everything, but it
was so smooth and it was actually really off putting
how quick it was.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
It was kind of like, really, that's that's it.
Speaker 3 (05:06):
I mean, I didn't even get a stamp on my passport.
I felt a little cheated there, but I.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Mean that's yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
But we uh, I got to the airport.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
At the airport there in Jamaica, they have like a
little sandals like outpost inside the resort that you go
and visit and you tell them what resort that you're
going to, and then they'll get your bags tagged properly
and they'll wait for the bus ride to take you
to the resort. And they have like this little kitchen
area where you can have snacks. It's all complimentary. They
(05:36):
have beer on draft as well. I did try that.
It was it was actually pretty good. A red stripe Yes,
it was red stripe beer.
Speaker 2 (05:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (05:48):
Hey, I have a quick question for you, Brian about
your your experience going through customs. Did you have or
pay for VIP or expedited screening or was it just
standard straight this is the way?
Speaker 2 (06:00):
But he does standard straight Okay, Yeah, the.
Speaker 5 (06:03):
Sandals does offer like a VIP like expedited screening option
to get you into a very cause I bought it
for my daughter once she went on her honeymoon last year,
and it was more of a streamlined experience. There was
you know, you're it was a less of a way time,
but you know, they actually send somebody out to meet
(06:25):
you and bring you through and escort you through the
security screening sections and then get you into a special
bus that gets you into a special area of the
resort when you check in. So it's a great option
to add on to your your package.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
I did notice some people taking that.
Speaker 3 (06:38):
I didn't know what that was exactly, but they had
some people there waiting for them and then taking them
through the border, you know, check area.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
And just so, just so all of our listeners know,
this is how Eric travels. He goes the boogiest way possible.
Any VIP treatment he can get, he's going to go
for it.
Speaker 5 (07:00):
Yeah, but I don't Sandals yet. So take that and
then back in the all why not? I mean, if
you're gonna go beat, you're gonna be a bear, be grizzly, right,
So there's no sm mutting around.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
That is true. But after all that, I waved there
for my ride and then uh got picked up in
a van and then it was another couple. They took
us all the way down the South Coast. It was
about an hour and a half drive down there. Uh
oh wow, Yeah, it's uh, it's basically it's just one
road that takes you all the way down to South Coast,
(07:36):
and I mean traffic does not really stop unless they're
you're on a stop light or stop signed inside of
a city. But got to the resort and I was
immediately just blown away and how beautiful this place looked.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
The only issue was.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
That we had a storm coming in like right behind us,
so like all that sunshine was kind of slowly kind
of going away off into the distance. But the storm
didn't last too long. I got there, got the room
really quick. It was uh they take care of your
baggage right away and they meet you at your room
and then that way you can be all squared away
(08:16):
and set. But first impression on the very first day,
it was it was great. It it blew me away.
Speaker 5 (08:23):
How many text message did you get from Shannon asking
if you were okay.
Speaker 1 (08:28):
That point none.
Speaker 3 (08:30):
I was instructed to text every time either got into
my seat, at my gate, off the plane, baggage check,
and then at the resort just.
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Every checkpoint along the way pretty much.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
Yeah, it was like updating like a commander of a
battle team, just be like, hey, we're at uh, we're
at point yeah, point bravo.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
Now. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
So I'm curious because you know, I I look at
these Sandals resorts and they absolutely all of them looked.
They're just all the pictures are so beautiful, and of
course the pictures can only do it so much justice
and until you see it in person. But I'm the
type of person who like on vacation, I like to
do things. I like to I can relax and lay
on the beach and lay you know, in a nice
(09:14):
room by the pool or whatever.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
H only for so long. So what was the vibe
of the resort like?
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Was it all just like very relaxed and chill or
were there things to do in activities and you know,
stuff that if you wanted to get up and do something,
there was that was available to you.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
I will say this, the vibe was always sit back, relax, Yeah,
take your time, But there's still plenty to do. That
was the vibe of the entire resort the entire time
until maybe till I got later at night, because that's
when you know, you have a lot of the party
(09:51):
stuff going on. They always have some form of entertainment
every night. So like the first night that I was there,
I got there, like I didn't get there until like
six thirty. But the first time I was there, they
had a live entertainer, someone who was singing classical music
out on the kind of like outside of the atrium.
Speaker 5 (10:13):
How does one sing classical music? Is that like I was?
Speaker 1 (10:16):
I was, Yeah, it was an opera or.
Speaker 5 (10:19):
Is out there belting out an aria on the veranda?
Speaker 3 (10:23):
A little bit of a little bit of that. But
then they also threw in some Frank Sinatra as well.
That's not classical, but that's still good music.
Speaker 5 (10:33):
Classical.
Speaker 3 (10:35):
But there's a lot of things you do there. You
have beach chairs across the entire beach. There's no single
place that you can go and not relax.
Speaker 2 (10:48):
You can find a place to relax anywhere on that property.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
Uh. They have all kinds of different activities. They have bars,
swim up bars, they have all different kinds of restaurants
that you can visit. They have kayaking, wind surfing, they
have water skiing, you name it, they have it, and
it's all right there.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
That's that's very cool. Like I would love that relaxed vibe.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
But I like the idea of, you know, being able
to go out there on a kayak on that beautiful water.
Speaker 1 (11:25):
It also sounds really nice.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
Yeah, I didn't expect the kayaking. I was like, I've
never kayaked before. There's kayaks right here. I'm in Jamaica.
I'm out of the country for the first time. Why
not give it a shot? And that way when I
come back. Yeah, that way when I come back and
I say, yeah, I kayak the Caribbean.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
As one does, yeah exactly.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
Yeah, well, yeah, I got kayaked.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
When when in Rome you do as the Romans do,
When in Jamaica, you kayak exactly.
Speaker 5 (11:57):
So that's the first thing I think. That's when I
think about Jamaica as kayaking, right.
Speaker 1 (12:00):
Red stripe and kayaking.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
Tell us about some of your so like you obviously kayak,
what about some of your favorite locations or maybe some
other activities you did.
Speaker 3 (12:11):
Okay, well, I had to say one of my favorite
locations has to be.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
A sushi on the beach.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
It is this Japanese sushi restaurant and it's outside, but
the vibe is really relaxing. It's really nice. It's right
there next to the main pool area where all the
restaurants are kind of wrapped around.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
You have a clear open view.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Of the sea and the beach there as well, you know,
hence sushi on the beach right and and the selection
of food that they have at that restaurant is great.
I mean if you're if you're a sushi or seafood
kind of person, you'll love this place. I ended up
having it was the no I didn't have the California roll.
(13:04):
I had like it was it was a dynamite roll.
Then I had some uh geary which was I had
some like octopus with that as well, and then I
had a Tira masoux dessert with it, and that was
all really really good. But there are a ton of
other different like little spots too, Like there's Latitudes, which
(13:27):
is this bar that's over top of the ocean, and
they serve all kinds of drinks you can get like
the famous Bob Marley drink there. I tried that that
was actually really delicious. It's basically it's is.
Speaker 5 (13:44):
It a special like, got a special ingredient in there?
Speaker 3 (13:47):
I can't remember the exact ingredients, but I do know.
The trick to it is that even though it looks
like each separated like section of the drink is like
a different you know, concoction or a different mix. Sure
it's not, but it's like a different color. Yeah, exactly, did.
Speaker 5 (14:04):
You pass a drug test after drinking it?
Speaker 1 (14:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (14:07):
I see where Eric is going with this. Is this
drink link legal in all fifty eight?
Speaker 5 (14:11):
Exactly? Thank you?
Speaker 2 (14:13):
Yes, yes, yes it is, Yes it is.
Speaker 3 (14:16):
I didn't get a chance to try their signature drink though,
but their signature drink looked really delicious. I don't remember
the name of it off the top of my head, unfortunately,
but I ended up having a cosm of Politsan there
as my first drink because I've never really had one
and wanted to try it and perfect spot to do it,
and uh, it was great.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
It was fast.
Speaker 3 (14:36):
There's honestly, when when you're there, you you think like
there's going to be a ton of people, and when
I got there there was actually there was a wedding
party that was going on and they had what I
heard was over one hundred guests, so they were at
pretty much close to full maximum capacity. And even though
they were that close to maximum capacity, it felt like
(14:58):
you still had so much open space that you weren't
bogged down with people coming and going and walking around
and you know, trying to be on the same path
as somebody else and like having to step off to
the side so that way people can you know, get by,
or carts can get by or whatever.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
You didn't have to worry about that.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
It was just it was that open and it didn't
feel like it was that heavily populated with guests. It
was incredible.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
Yeah, that's that's really nice.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
That's something that like, I feel like you would you
would stress out a little bit about if you're planning
a trip and you don't really know, you've never been
to that resort before. So that's a really nice thing
to hear for sure. Like that that takes a lot
of stress off of a would be traveler.
Speaker 5 (15:37):
So for the professional drinkers at home who've just totally
we've just glossed over this point. But Brian's first drink
in Jamaica was a Cosmopolitan Are.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
You no, technically technically no, yea, I was going to
back you up here, Brian. Your first drink technically was
a red stripe, so.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
Okay, red stripe, that's respectful. Your second drink, second drink
was the I'm drink, which was had, which was did
it have a specific alcohol in it that is famous
in Jamaica for being made in Jamaica.
Speaker 3 (16:10):
Not to my knowledge, No, it was like it was.
It was fruit juice mixed with vodka.
Speaker 5 (16:16):
Oh worse, that's worse. You go you go into Russia
that this dude. They call it Jamaican rum for a
reason because it's made there and it's like the best
rum you could possibly get. How many drinks in before
you actually hit a rum drink?
Speaker 2 (16:31):
Well, actually I had a bottle of Jamaican rum in
my room waiting for me.
Speaker 1 (16:35):
Yes, but did you drink it?
Speaker 2 (16:37):
Yes, yes I did. I did try it because.
Speaker 5 (16:39):
So like the third drink was the famous Jamaican rum drink.
Get you get respect points on the the red stripe
on tap because you know it's brood right there, YadA, YadA, YadA.
But then to go to the signature drink with vodka,
then to a Cosmopolitan which is not rum.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Finally, the rum.
Speaker 2 (17:03):
Well, I mean I had a murlow before the room.
Speaker 5 (17:06):
Oh oh boy. Okay, we're gonna have to talk next time.
We're gonna have to do something like this where we
all go and and and and be properly educated about
the alcohol that one consumes. When you visit a destination.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Resort, there's there's to your list structure.
Speaker 5 (17:23):
There is a structure, my friend.
Speaker 3 (17:25):
Okay, all right, Well, speaking of drinks, though, there is
a wide selection of drinks that you can choose from.
There's even some location that some locations that serve specialty drinks.
And there's actually a martini bar that sits above the
Italian restaurant that's there, the Italian restaurant being Giuseppes. But
this martini bar is kind of like it's kind of
(17:45):
hidden away. You don't really notice it unless you know
about it or you hear some people kind of like
celebrating or laughing or talking as they're going up or
they're coming out. But as soon as you walk up
the steps and it's like a second second floor. Uh,
you walk in there. Sometimes I'll have live entertainment there
as well, but you'll you can ask for any type
(18:07):
of martini, any kind of martini there and they'll make
it for you, and it's it's a nice cozy spot,
like a secret martini location, if you will.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
Very nice.
Speaker 5 (18:18):
Did you have a secret martini?
Speaker 3 (18:20):
I had an apple tini. Oh god, I've never tried
an appletini. I had to try one. First couple of
SIPs it was okay. I was like, Okay, this tastes
all right. But then a couple of SIPs after I'm like, okay,
that's too much green apple taste. I can't.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
Yeah, in your defense, Brian, I'm not a big martini fan,
and I don't know what I would have ordered. The
first thing that came to mind was maybe I would
have martini.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
No no, no, no.
Speaker 4 (18:42):
Maybe I would have done an espresso martini, depending on
the night. But I don't know that that's that much
better than an apple tini.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
So I'll you're killing me.
Speaker 5 (18:53):
You both are killing me. There's two types of martini,
jen martini or vodka martini. Right, if you really want
to have a really good, authentic, good vodka martini, just
get one very dry that's just you know, or you
get a gen martini very dry, which is just gin
(19:13):
a tiny whiff of us driver Mooth, Shaken Nuts, dir
James Bond. Then go full on because you're in the
place where like James Bond kind of like you know,
hung out places in Jamaica and the Bahamas and stuff
like that. In fact, James Bond was written in the Bahamas.
But you want to go for a vestment, we're getting trivia.
(19:35):
Oh yeah, it's Bond trivia to it. There's there's drink
trivia with everything. It's like, you don't go to Kentucky
and drink, you know, vodka, you go there to drink bourbon.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
That's what's Yeah, that's why I'm not a big fan
of vodka or gin. That's why Martini is not my drink.
So I probably would have had to go with something
with a you know, a little bit of flavor mixed
in there. But we can talk about Martini's for a
whole episode probably, So yes, Brian, I want to I
want to ask you, actually, did you have anything else
on the drinks?
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Any other bars that are worth noting.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
I actually didn't visit any other bars because I really
didn't have time to go visit all of them. But
there is a bar that is situated inside the theater
that they have there. I actually went in one of
the nights where they were doing live guest karaoke, and
when I walked in, there was these three women that
were singing a country song, and I mean, bless their hearts.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
They they did their best. They did their best.
Speaker 3 (20:34):
That was like, yeah, yeah, But other than that, I mean, Eric,
I did order a dirty martini over in Latitudes.
Speaker 5 (20:42):
Okay, good, you're getting better. That's much better.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
But unfortunately they didn't have any olives.
Speaker 5 (20:47):
And then you make a martini glass, so then it's
not a dirty martini. It's just a martini and a
plastic cup. Because they did they did have.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
The first night I asked for it, they did not
have the olive juice, so they made me the Cosmopolitan.
The second night I went over there, they did have
the olive juice, but they didn't have the olives.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
The martini class.
Speaker 2 (21:09):
Kind of weird.
Speaker 4 (21:10):
I'm wondering where the olive juice came from with no olives.
But that's a little you know, that's fine. We can
move past it. O all right, Brian, we got to
move on to some food here. I want to know
you mentioned a couple of restaurants already.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
How was the food at this resort.
Speaker 3 (21:26):
Oh, the food was fantastic. It was incredible. I mean
the I mean first night I had sushi on the beach.
My second day there when we had the.
Speaker 5 (21:37):
Tour, the cheeseburger, it was not no.
Speaker 3 (21:41):
It was pizza from Giuseppe's for lunch, and their signature
pizza is the Seafood Pizza and it has like clam,
it's got octopus on it, it's got crab, and it's like,
I mean, if I'm going to be having lunch at
this restaurant for the one, like the one and last time,
I should go for the signature dish, right. And I
was a little off put by the ingredients for a pizza,
(22:05):
but it is. It's a stone fired oven that they
have there. And the pizza came out and it was
it was great. It was fantastic. It wasn't greasy, it
wasn't messy. It was it was like if you wanted
to picture the perfect pizza, right, and it was like
whatever topics you want on or whatnot, but the execution
(22:26):
of the crust and the execution of how much cheese
is on that pizza they get you every single time.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
Love it.
Speaker 2 (22:34):
So that was that was great.
Speaker 3 (22:36):
Dinner that night. We had dinner at Shoot. What is
the name of that restaurant. It is a seafood restaurant
that sits on the beach and their main dish is
this swordfish steak. And the reason why I say swordfish
steak is when you order it and it comes out,
(22:56):
it is a huge chunk of swordfish, just like if
you think of like a like a New.
Speaker 2 (23:02):
York strip are something like that. It is massive.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
I've never had swordfish before, but just one bite and
I just I melted in my seat. It was.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
It was great. I ate the entire thing.
Speaker 5 (23:16):
I am very glad of you for trying all these
new things, including.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
The schooners scooters. Yes, that was the name of the restaurant, Scooters.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Yes, there we go.
Speaker 4 (23:27):
Yeah, se Seafood by the Shorelines, Schooners Seafood Grill, and
I'm looking at pictures of it right now.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
It looks really good.
Speaker 3 (23:34):
It was really really good.
Speaker 5 (23:36):
Did you happen to have any lobster tail or lobster.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
They do serve lobster tail and steak there as well,
in case if you're not too hung up on the
seafood portion, but you kind of want a little seafood
with your dinner. Everyone that sat at my table that
night did order the lobster and the steak, but I'm like,
I gotta go for the swordfish.
Speaker 5 (24:00):
I'm a big lobster fan. I've had some swordfish before,
and it you know, it's it's it's a good non
fishy fish.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
Yeah, I would agree with that. Yeah, it's it's a
non fishy fish flavor.
Speaker 5 (24:15):
Yeah, it's got a great it's good. It's good. It
doesn't it's not gamey, right, it's not real gamey and stuff.
It's real firm. It's kind of like eating a chicken steak,
but you know, with its own unique flavor. The texture
I would think would be ill described as like a
chicken steak, right.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Right, Like it's not overpowering, and it's not too you know,
I'm what I'm looking for. It's not too like in
front of your face kind of a kind of a deal.
Speaker 1 (24:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (24:42):
Yeah, I'd love me some good like Jamaican Bohemian lobster tail.
Speaker 2 (24:47):
Did the lobster tail did?
Speaker 1 (24:48):
Look.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
I kind of wish I would have added the lobster
tail to my dish, but that that swordfish just filled
me up so quick. It was good. And then my
third night for lunch, we ended up going over to
Beaches and then we went over to Negrill and we
had lunch over in the grill and there we had
(25:14):
like New York strip steak, but with like a Jack
Daniel sauce. We had a chef salad and it was
prepared by a gentleman who I have to say is
a master chef. But they introduced him and they explained
that he had been deployed at least eight different times
(25:37):
overseas because he was in the military. And I heard that,
and I go, Okay, this guy knows his stuff when
it comes to food and making sure food tastes good,
because when you're deployed, you've got to try and come
up with every single way possible to make your mrs
taste the best. And or if you're deployed as a chef,
(26:00):
you know what it is that you need to do
to make sure that food tastes great for all those
soldiers that you need to feed, whether if it's on
ship or if it's on base. This guy had it
down pat and it was incredible. Even the dessert we
had like a Tira massoux dessert and we had like
a chocolate Bob Marley design on the plate.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
As well, just to finish it all up. And that
was great.
Speaker 3 (26:26):
I got a good photo of that one. I had
to get a photo of that one. I went ahead
and my posted that on my own personal page.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
But I believe, yes, I did see that one.
Speaker 4 (26:36):
Yeah, so this was at Beaches, you said, correct.
Speaker 2 (26:41):
Nogrill Beach is Negrill. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (26:43):
Yeah, so you got to tour a the Beaches Negrill resort,
which Beaches is like the family the family well not.
I don't want to say family friendly, because like Sandals
is still family friendly, it's just not you know it.
It's twenty one and up. I believe no children at
a Sandals resort, whereas Beaches a family vacation spot. So
I'm curious the difference in the two.
Speaker 1 (27:04):
How did you feel? How was it going from a
Sandals to a Beaches and then back to Sandals.
Speaker 3 (27:09):
Okay, so as some people may know, and a lot
of people that know Sandals if they know Beaches, right,
Sesame Street is partnered with Sandals, right, and you have
Sesame Street characters there.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
I did not know that.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
So our first visit was to Beaches and we're on
the bus and it's about maybe like a forty five
minute drive there. We finally get there and we pull
up and I had to do a double take out
the window because I didn't believe what I saw. And
there is Ernie standing there waiting for all of us
(27:45):
to get off the bus and he's waving at us,
and I go, what.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Is Sesame Street doing here?
Speaker 3 (27:51):
What?
Speaker 2 (27:53):
And you can see here at reaction when I went
to record it too, because I didn't believe my eyes.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
I couldn't believe it.
Speaker 5 (28:00):
But were you looking for phones and ferb Yes, yeah,
it was.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
It was like are they gonna be around the corner?
Speaker 3 (28:06):
You know? And then we saw Cookie Monster and Cookie
Monsters like breaking it down, dancing for us or whatever, and.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
That was actually cool to see.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
But the different vibes between Beaches and then the Grill,
I mean, Beaches it's a lot more family friendly. They
have a great program when it comes to childcare or
even autistic childcare as well. They take great pride in
their work and it shows. It shows throughout the entire
(28:36):
Beaches resort. You feel that no matter where you go,
it's a safe environment. Everyone is taken care of that
if you ever have an issue or a problem, or
if you need some help, or if you need some
guidance or anything like that, the staff there have your
back and they will help you and make sure that
(28:58):
everything is great for your visit or for your stay.
Are If you know you just need a little bit
guidance or just an extra hand, they're there to help you.
Speaker 5 (29:08):
Hey, Brian, real quick was it was the food choices
and like the food restaurants and stuff like that. More
like it's different from the Beaches side the Beaches Resort
versus the Santos Resort. Maybe they're more like family friendly
type restaurants. The feel noticeably different.
Speaker 3 (29:25):
I would say that the the restaurant choices for Beaches
and like say, like the Grill or for South Coast,
they're different. It's a lot there's a lot more like
kid friendly options. There's a lot more family friendly options,
uh there, But actually you have more adult options if
you go to the other resorts. I will say that
(29:47):
that's a little bit more not not ref I guess
I would say refined, a little bit more refined menu choice,
a lot more refined restaurant choice.
Speaker 5 (29:59):
Well. One nice thing too about you know, going to
an all inclusive resort. Is that with restaurants if you
want two entrees, three andres you can order them. Oh yeah,
and they will bring them to you so you can
get you can try everything on the menu if you
would like. And that's not a problem at all and
funny in fact that actually, yeah, it'd be more excited
(30:19):
to give give it to you, right right, yea. We
get a kick out of it.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
They'll even ask you, is that it like you should
order more? Like go ahead, like and they'll be honest
with you. It's like, listen, this portion size is actually
pretty small. You could order like three other things on
top of this. But what's even great about that?
Speaker 2 (30:36):
Though?
Speaker 3 (30:36):
Have been all inclusive even after you check out, if
you're still on property, it's.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
Still all inclusive for you.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
So like my last day, even at South Coast, I
was already checked out, and I'm like, okay, I have
like an hour to kill. I'm gonna get some more footage,
but I haven't had breakfast yet.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
I got to get a crape. I've never had a crape.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
I'd love to try one, maybe, like like a strawberry
chocolate crape.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
Whatever.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
And I went there and I asked, like Okay, hey,
I already checked out. Is how much is it not
going to pay? It's like nope, still all inclusive. Awesome,
gotcha And I'm like, really.
Speaker 1 (31:06):
Yep, that's for every resort.
Speaker 5 (31:09):
So how did you like the crabe?
Speaker 2 (31:11):
It was good?
Speaker 3 (31:12):
It was good. Honestly, they're not supposed to have strawberries
because they didn't have strawberries on the menu, but they
had strawberries in the back and they got it for me.
Speaker 1 (31:19):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
I was very very grateful.
Speaker 5 (31:23):
Yes, And the chefs will go out of their way
if you have special dietary requirements or if you wanted,
you know, a minor enhancement to a dish or something
like that, they will do everything they can to make
sure that they can deliver, you know, a meal that
will exceed your expectations.
Speaker 3 (31:38):
That is a huge thing that I saw there too,
is that if anybody has an allergy, or if anybody
is on a dietary restriction, say if you're vegan or
you're a vegetarian, or if you're allergic to if you're
allergic to spices, are any kind of pepper, they will
take care of you. They will make sure that everything
(31:59):
is made according to your dietary needs and they will
double triple check for you, or if they need to
make something different that's off the menu, just so that
way you have a dish that is prepared and warm
and you know that fits your needs, they'll make it
for you, no problem.
Speaker 5 (32:20):
Yeah, So, Brian, how are the water features at each resort?
Speaker 2 (32:24):
The water features?
Speaker 3 (32:26):
Yeah, So the main pool at South Coast was something
out of like a postcard.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
It looked, it looked great. It was so picturesque.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
The big sandals arch that kind of goes over top
of the pool at the end towards like the ocean was.
Speaker 2 (32:45):
It was just like a great centerpiece.
Speaker 3 (32:48):
The Beaches resort, the pools there, they have all kinds
of water slides throughout. Some of the rooms have uh
like swimming like well, I guess kind of like built
in pools like the connect to like the main pool
in the back. So like where I was staying at
(33:09):
in my room, if I was just like a floor below,
if I was to walk outside of the.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
Room towards the back, I'd already be in the pool.
Speaker 5 (33:17):
Yeah, the swim swim up terrace exactly.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
Yeah, yes, yeah, did you get it?
Speaker 5 (33:24):
Did you get a chance to check out any of
the did they have over the water h oh yeah,
bungalows there.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
Yes, yes they did. We get they did get to
check those out. We actually kind of be kind of
quick with checking out the bungalows, but we did walk
out there. The bungalows are breathtaking. You could probably stay
in those bungalows throughout your entire vacation and feel like
that you it was a vacation well spent yose rooms.
Speaker 5 (33:50):
They come with butler service too.
Speaker 1 (33:52):
Yeah, so everything they did right to your room there.
Speaker 4 (33:54):
I got to uh, I had the pleasure of cutting
together Brian's video from those bungalow tours what you can
see on our Instagram at Destinations to TVL Those are
i mean, absolute bucket lists amazing.
Speaker 1 (34:08):
Just looks like an incredible experience.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
It is, Honestly, I didn't get to talk to any
guests personally about what they thought about the over the
water bungalows. But with those bungalows you do have reserved
seating on the beach as well, so that way you
have a perfect picturesque spot for your sunsets to end
(34:33):
the night, which is very very nice.
Speaker 4 (34:38):
So one last question for you, Brian, before we move
on to some news here. So you obviously had a
great experience at Sandals South Coast. It sounds like it's
an absolutely beautiful resort, But there's so many Sandals resorts
in different locations. Is there a different like if you
were to go back on the Sandals vacation right now,
would you go back to Sandals South Coast or would you
rather go check out a different resort?
Speaker 3 (35:01):
I would go back, but I would go back to
Sandals Negrill.
Speaker 5 (35:07):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
Sandals South Coast was great. It I mean, it was awesome,
But I would want to spend more time checking out
Sandals Nogrill. It just it's there's a lot more to do.
It feels like over there at Nogrill there's a lot
more open space. Obviously there's gonna be a lot more
(35:29):
guests because it's it is a bigger resort than South Coast. Uh,
from what I understood, from what we walked and what's
what it felt like at least, But I would go
to the Sandals Nogrill.
Speaker 5 (35:43):
Would you drink more rum?
Speaker 3 (35:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (35:46):
I would. I would. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (35:48):
Listen, this was a work trip. We needed Brian to
work while he was there, so it wasn't.
Speaker 3 (35:52):
Yes, I didn't. I didn't get to try one of
everything I wish I could have.
Speaker 5 (35:56):
Working with a hangover is work. Oh, not going to
meeting with a hangover that is worth.
Speaker 1 (36:01):
That's difference. Lot.
Speaker 3 (36:03):
You're out there, You're out there for ten minutes and
all of a sudden, it feels like you walked through
a rain cloud. It was.
Speaker 1 (36:08):
It was. It was just that hot.
Speaker 3 (36:10):
But one of the things there at night, and I
didn't know what this was. Was my first night there.
I'm hearing like this, this beeping, and I'm like, what
the heck is? Oh?
Speaker 1 (36:20):
I caught that videos.
Speaker 3 (36:23):
Yeah, And I'm like, what the heck is that I did?
I accidentally hit a button? Was an alarm or something
like that, And I'm on on the second floor balcony
there and I'm listening to it, and I'm like, I
gotta figure out where this is at.
Speaker 2 (36:33):
I'm looking and like there's.
Speaker 3 (36:36):
You know, yeah, yeah, no. I put two and two
together for that one. But it looked like it was
coming from the alarm. IM like, well, no, that's not
going off, that's not it. And then I go walking
out and I'm like, okay, well it sounds like birds.
Maybe it's these birds just keep constantly chirping all night long.
And it wasn't until after I got home there was
(36:56):
a Sandals commercial and they.
Speaker 2 (36:59):
Showcased the tree frog and the tree frog.
Speaker 3 (37:01):
The tree frog was making the same exact noise, and
I go, that's what it was.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
It was there's nothing but frogs, the tree frogs, yes,
And I go, no, way.
Speaker 3 (37:13):
I thought it was like these nighttime birds that were
just going on, But no, it's the tree frogs there.
But you talk to guests, and you talk to people
that stay there, and they're you know, live in Jamaica,
they're all used to it, and they go, yeah, honestly,
you know, we wouldn't be able to sleep without those. Yeah,
it's kind of like white noise for them. No, it's
funny because and after a while I got used to
it too.
Speaker 1 (37:33):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 4 (37:34):
Being in Florida, we we have not the exact same
kind obviously, Well, we have frogs that make a very
similar sound.
Speaker 1 (37:40):
I listened to one of your videos.
Speaker 4 (37:41):
I was like, oh, listen to the frogs, and then
I didn't even think about the fact that would be
completely different and like other worldly to you.
Speaker 1 (37:48):
And that makes sense.
Speaker 3 (37:49):
Oh yeah, It threw me off for a bit, and
I'm like, what is that?
Speaker 1 (37:54):
Very cool? Yeah, anything else on on Sandals before we
move on.
Speaker 3 (38:00):
Thoughts, I'll say, yeah, honestly, I mean I had to
go by myself because that it was just kind of
like one person for agency to go for this work trip.
If you want to go by yourself, or if you
want to go with your significant other, or if you
want to go with a group of friends, or if
(38:20):
you want to go with a party to South Coast
or to Negrill or even to beaches, you can do that.
There is plenty for you to do. There's plenty for
you to explore and to see and is all available
to you. I highly, highly highly recommend going if you can.
Speaker 1 (38:38):
Very cool, Yeah, because it is experienced that.
Speaker 3 (38:40):
You need to you need to see for yourself.
Speaker 4 (38:42):
Sandals has this reputation of being like a couple's retreat
almost right, So, like, I think it's cool to hear
that you can enjoy by yourself, enjoy it with a
group of friends. There's a lot of different ways you
can have this this type of vacation.
Speaker 1 (38:54):
Yes, all right, let's move into our news.
Speaker 4 (38:59):
We don't have a ton but like I said, there's
some fresh news as of this recording, so I'm excited
to dive into it. I am going to cheat a
little bit, so we have our Deal of the week
later on and we're going to talk some more sandals
when we come back to our Deal of the week.
But there was a whole lot of promotions released for Disney,
so we're just gonna sneak them into.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
The news here.
Speaker 4 (39:17):
So first off, November and December twenty twenty six bookings
are now available. Twenty twenty six was available up until
November until very recently, so again all of twenty six
is now available. And remember you can get that kid's
free a free children's dining plan when you purchase a
dining plan for every adult in your party and you
(39:37):
have a package including tickets and room. So reach out
to your destination's travel advisor to get that all squared away.
Walt Disney World Annual pass holders can save up to
thirty five percent on rooms from February twenty second through
April thirtieth, twenty twenty six. I may or may not
be taking advantage of that myself. The fact that a
(39:58):
deal when you see a promotion like this art on
your birthday. It's kind of hard to avoid jumping on that.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
So we'll see you gotta go. Well, yeah, yeah, we'll
see it gains advantage.
Speaker 5 (40:07):
You gotta go, you gotta do it.
Speaker 4 (40:11):
You can also save up to two hundred and fifty
dollars on a Walt Disneyworld vacation package including room and
tickets from January fourth to July twenty fifth. So I
think they called that their spring sale, but you know,
kind of the first half of the year.
Speaker 1 (40:24):
So that's a lot a lot.
Speaker 5 (40:26):
Yeah, yeah, it's of a long spring.
Speaker 4 (40:29):
Box of Tony Phil said, six more months of spring. Hey,
let's let's jump into so that. I mentioned that we
have some animatronics news and I'm excited to get your
thought on this now, Brian, the Frozen animatronics for the
Frozen ever After attraction here in Epcot.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
They're getting an upgrade.
Speaker 2 (40:47):
Yeah, they are.
Speaker 4 (40:47):
They're getting an upgrade in the facial region in that
they are getting faces, so they are going to.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
Be finally Oh my, come.
Speaker 3 (40:58):
Took them long enough?
Speaker 5 (40:59):
Yeah, that is they're getting an upgrade in the facial reason. Nice.
Speaker 4 (41:04):
Yeah, so we're going to see an upgrade to those
animatronics pretty soon, which I'm really excited about. Yeah, that's
I think the technology was cool when that first came out,
and then it was like, oh, well, there's these other
animatronics that are so much more impressive now, so like
let's get that done.
Speaker 1 (41:18):
And we are finally getting that done, so that'll be cool.
Speaker 4 (41:21):
We also got the news that we're getting some Muppets
animatronics coming to Rock and Roller Coaster over in Disney
Hollywood Studio, so I'm excited to see that as well.
Speaker 3 (41:29):
Okay, I'll see how they do that that.
Speaker 2 (41:32):
Obviously, it would be really interesting to see how they
pull that off.
Speaker 4 (41:34):
Yeah, So it looked like with the concept art they
showed off it was the pre show, you know where
you would see Aerosmith and the recording studio. It's like
we got a scooter animatronic in there, and then we'll
see what else they have in store for us. But
I'm excited. I'm looking forward to this this re theme
of Rock and Roller Coaster.
Speaker 1 (41:54):
Too.
Speaker 3 (41:55):
Yeah. I wonder if like the opening is going to
be like them unpacking from Muppet THEA and you know.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
That would coaster.
Speaker 1 (42:03):
I'm sure they'll have something like people happy.
Speaker 4 (42:06):
Yeah, yeah, absolutely, saying in Disney Hollywood Studios. We also
have a new live band performing. It's called Holly Groove
Swinging Band. They debuted recently at Holly Studios. They performed
daily on Hollywood Boulevard. There are no set times. I
was even I was scrolling through the app today looking
for any any times for them to you know, for
(42:26):
their performances. But they kind of just pop up sporadically.
So it's, you know, one of those magical things. You're
just walking down the street and here's a live band playing.
Speaker 1 (42:34):
So that's that's.
Speaker 5 (42:34):
What flavor of music are they going to be playing?
Because their name is a little contradictory, Holly Groove, that's
like funk and groove music.
Speaker 1 (42:44):
I believe it's a playoff. It's a reference to New Orleans.
Speaker 4 (42:47):
But so it's like a I don't want to say
jazz band, but like like.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
A New Orleans brass band. I believe is their vibe.
I haven't gotten to see them in person.
Speaker 5 (42:56):
The New Orleans in that name.
Speaker 1 (42:57):
Dude, Well it's it's we can get it. We can
talk about it later. But but they are. Yeah, So
they're performing daily and this is supposedly part.
Speaker 4 (43:08):
Of an initiative to bring back more live entertainment to
Hollywood Studios, which I'm really excited about. I used to
love the citizens of Hollywood down Sunset Boulevard, and so
you know, getting from here getting those sorts of entertainment,
you know, offerings back.
Speaker 1 (43:23):
Would be really really cool.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
Agreed, we'd jump over to Epcot.
Speaker 4 (43:30):
Here we Spaceship Earth has been closed for a refurbishment
for a little while. Now close it's August twenty fifth.
We now know that it will be reopening on October
twenty fifth, So not too long to wait for Spaceship
Earth to reopen. Not expecting any big changes or anything,
just you know, refer for a the let's say, Classic attraction.
Speaker 5 (43:52):
It sounds awesome.
Speaker 4 (43:55):
I mean I honestly, you know, it's one of those
things that like you want when you can't have. Every
time I walk past it and it's I was like,
I kind of want to space your birth today now.
So I'm looking forward to, uh, you know, probably just
walking past it when it's reopened.
Speaker 1 (44:07):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (44:08):
It's one of those It's one of those rides that's
kind of like you gotta do it at least once.
I'm it's every time you go. Yeah, it's a mustew.
Speaker 1 (44:17):
Yeah, No, you're absolutely right.
Speaker 4 (44:19):
It's something I should do more often than I do.
Food and wine is still going on at Eppot, and
we got the two new booths that are open, so
Coastal Eats and then the one that I'm really excited
to go try, Yoza's of the Galaxy. That that dumpling
booth with the French onion soup dumplings and the what
was it, buffalo chicken dumplings.
Speaker 1 (44:40):
Really excited to get back to that.
Speaker 3 (44:41):
That sounds good.
Speaker 1 (44:42):
Yeah, I want to go try those.
Speaker 5 (44:44):
Yeah, I'd be all over that, especially the French onion
soup dumpling.
Speaker 2 (44:47):
Yeah, that's that's I'd have to try that one too.
Speaker 1 (44:49):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (44:50):
Speaking of new food across Walt disney World, thirteen new
sauced chicken strips available, which is a really weird announcement
from Disney. Just be like, hey, we've got new sauce
chicken strips. But there's some really unique flavors and these
are all some some of them are in the park,
some of them at resorts. So you can find things
(45:10):
like a sweet chili aoli. You can find waffle cone
chicken trips, which I'm really interested in trying. Those are
Those are at the Beaches Pool Bar in Grand Flordy,
And I'm not staying at Grand floridin anytime soon. So
if you see me hopping a fence into the pool
area and you know, no you don't, there's a go
Chi Jong chicken strip and then roasted Jalapaenno cheddar. Those
(45:34):
are just some of the ones that stood out to me.
There's a like I said, there's thirteen different unique flavors
across you know, all the different resorts and everything. Again,
I should have mentioned this at the top, but you
can read more about all of these headlines on Chip
and Co. They have the full list of all of
these chicken strips available. Any of those flavors stand out
to you, guys, anything you'd want to try?
Speaker 5 (45:55):
Oh? They they all do. And we got to stop
doing this like recording the podcast when it's dinner time
here because I'm reading about all this great food in
right now.
Speaker 3 (46:03):
I know, I'm wondering how the waffle clone one's gonna taste.
I'm so intrigued by that, Like I thought, maybe it's
like a vanilla.
Speaker 1 (46:09):
Yeah, I don't know. I feel like I need to
try it though.
Speaker 4 (46:12):
Let's stick with some more delicious sounding food. Although it's
gonna you know, we're gonna go to drinks now instead.
Speaker 1 (46:18):
How about that?
Speaker 3 (46:18):
Is that?
Speaker 1 (46:18):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (46:19):
Eric?
Speaker 5 (46:20):
Yes? If you hear, if you hear like a growley noise,
that is my stomach going off.
Speaker 4 (46:24):
So there are new five new cold brew drinks across
the Walt Disney World parks. So Geoffrey's Coffee has a
as a cold brewd that they've been, uh, they have
had available recently. So they've got some themed drinks. There's
two at the Magic Kingdom and then there's one at
each of the other parks. Real quick, I'll just run
through uh some you know, quick descriptions of the drinks.
(46:44):
There's the White Rabbit available at Cheshire Cafe. This has
white chocolate sauce, raspberry cold foam and top with raspberry
powder and a chocolate piece. There's the Honey Lavender Cold Brew.
This is at Golden alcoh Golden Oak Outposts at Magic
Kingdom with honey lavender, old foam, honeycomb, toffee and sugar
candy piece. Epic Cold Bruce Spectacular available at Epic Eats
(47:06):
in Hollywood Studios. Let's see this one is a vanilla
flavored cold brew with cookie butter cold foam and a
chocolate hat, so the classic Indiana Jones hat.
Speaker 1 (47:17):
You've got the cold crumb. This is available with the
Kringlab Bakery. In Eptot.
Speaker 4 (47:22):
This is a vanilla custard cold foam with shredded coconut
so school bread in coffee form that sounds delicious. And
then finally it's a Tooley canteen. In Disney's Animal Kingdom,
you can get the Ube cold Brew with Uba sweet
cream and butterfly pt whipped topping and freeze dried raspberry.
So very avatar looking coffee available there, which I kind
(47:46):
of want to try all of these now, So good
job Disney with your new theme food and drinks.
Speaker 1 (47:52):
I'm excited to go try some new stuff.
Speaker 2 (47:56):
I'll tell you what.
Speaker 3 (47:56):
See anyone who is listening right now and is going
on a Disney vacation here soon, I'm gonna put you
on a quest I want you to try one of
every single one of these drinks and tag us because
I am I am interested and I want to know.
Speaker 4 (48:11):
Yeah absolutely, I am always you know, looking for new
content to get for our YouTube channel, and I was like, oh,
I could go try some of you know, these thirteen
new chicken.
Speaker 1 (48:24):
Trips, or I could try these five cold brew drinks.
That's way too much caffeine. I probably can't do that,
So we're gonna stick to the chicken skits.
Speaker 2 (48:32):
Come on, live a little, Mike.
Speaker 1 (48:35):
That would be living like quite literally, living a little
just a little bit longer, and then it's done.
Speaker 2 (48:42):
Nice, living more quickly.
Speaker 1 (48:44):
Yes, exactly, they live quickly.
Speaker 4 (48:47):
Let's get some Disneyland news and some Universal news to
wrap things up before we get to our game. So
we've got the Christmas Fantasy Parade returning to Disneyland November
fourteenth of January seventh. Shows will be at two forty
five and five fifteen, And in conjunction with that those
same dates, you'll have the Believe In Holiday Magic Fireworks
also returning, and those showings will be at nine thirty.
Speaker 1 (49:09):
Eric, you said you'll be at Disneyland for the holiday season, right,
I will.
Speaker 5 (49:13):
Be there in the first of November, so right.
Speaker 1 (49:17):
Before this all kicks off, just so a little too early.
Speaker 5 (49:20):
Yeah, that's the way. That's the way it is. It's
one of those work trips, so I don't get to
pick when I get to go. But yeah, it's I'll
be on the fourth, is my first day.
Speaker 1 (49:28):
Okay, all right, well I mean it's still still Disney.
Speaker 5 (49:31):
Yeah, I'm gone before it starts.
Speaker 1 (49:34):
Yeah, I need to get there for the holiday season.
Everything looks so awesome.
Speaker 4 (49:38):
Speaking of the holidays, though, here at Universal Orlando, their
holiday offerings return November twenty first and run through January fourth.
The Holiday Tour and the Grinch and Friends Breakfast are
back and you can book those right now. Get in
touch with your destination to travel Advisor to book those
that holiday tour. I've never done the Grinch Breakfast, so
I can't speak to that, but the Grinch, you know,
(49:58):
meeting the Grinches always in credible.
Speaker 1 (50:00):
That holiday tour is hoop notch.
Speaker 4 (50:03):
If you want to see Universal's holiday offerings, that's the
way to do it.
Speaker 1 (50:07):
You knock it all out in a you know, one
fell swoop.
Speaker 4 (50:11):
You can just do everything in the best way possible,
like basically an empty park. It's so cool, so highly
recommend now.
Speaker 5 (50:19):
Okay, very cool.
Speaker 4 (50:20):
And then finally, the last little piece of news over
at Epic Universe, Stardust Racers has reopened, so the big
roller coaster once again available. I was there two days
before it reopened unfortunately, so but if you're going anytime soon,
Stardus Racer should be open.
Speaker 1 (50:37):
All right, that's all of our news. Let's get into
our game.
Speaker 4 (50:41):
Like I said at the top, year, we have a
draft again, and since we were talking about sandals in
this episode, we figured let's branch out a little bit
with this draft and let's talk about our dream vacations
outside of you know, the usual Disney and Universal parks.
Now we're not completely taking Disney and Universal off of
the table, just the ones that we always talk about.
(51:02):
But you know, there's obviously a lot of other offerings
out there. So again, dream vacations. It could be a destination,
it could be like a specific event or whatever it
is you want to do. Brian, since you were technically
the guest, how about you have the first pick here
and then we'll go Brian, me and then Eric and
then we'll reverse, you know, we'll do a snake draft,
(51:23):
so Eric you'll pick first in the second round.
Speaker 1 (51:27):
That sound good? Everybody good? Ready to go? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (51:30):
All right, so great, I agree with your rules, Alex.
Speaker 1 (51:35):
All right, Brian, you have the first pick.
Speaker 3 (51:38):
Okay, Honestly, one of my dream vacations is to go
to Scotland and visit all the different castles and kind
of visit, uh some ancestry places of mine that our
family has kind of learned over the years. I feel
like it would be such a such a great, you know,
thing to experience for sure. So that's that's one of
my that's one of my top ones. Yeah, that's that's
(51:58):
a really good once. As soon as you said that,
I was like, oh, how is that not on my list?
I have a long list though, Like.
Speaker 1 (52:04):
We're doing four We're doing four rounds.
Speaker 4 (52:06):
There's three of us. There's gonna be twelve picks. I
have a lot a list much longer than that. But
Scotland is a great pick. Yeah, there's I mean just
checking out the castles and things like that is beautiful scenery.
Speaker 1 (52:17):
I love that. That's a good pick.
Speaker 4 (52:21):
Okay, I have I have two that I would consider
to be like top of my bucket list that I
absolutely want to do. But I think one of them
I can get very late in this draft. So I'm
gonna play the game here and I'm just gonna go
with the other one, which I think Eric might take
for me if I don't take it right here.
Speaker 1 (52:34):
I'm gonna say Tokyo. I have always wanted to go.
I mean I do.
Speaker 4 (52:38):
I really want to go to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo
Disney c So that's those are, you know, a big
reason why, but also just Tokyo in general. It just
checking out the city. I know, there's a lot of
really great food, so you know, and we you know,
we love to talk about food on this podcast. So yeah,
Tokyo has been top of my list, either one or
one A for a very long time.
Speaker 5 (53:00):
Yeah, I really need to go. I've been really wanting
to go to Japan for a very very long time,
and not just do Tokyo too, but you know, a
couple of the other big cities and then get out
to Okinawa. You know, because when I was young, I
got sick, was supposed to go on a tour uh
for a cracked a tournament in Okinawa and did not
actually get a chance to go because I was sick
(53:21):
and had to back out on the tour at the
last minute. I has to spend a month training and
touring around in Japan.
Speaker 1 (53:29):
Oh, that would have been really cool.
Speaker 5 (53:32):
Yeah, so I'm totally jealous that you put that and
you kind of stole that one off my off my list.
Speaker 2 (53:36):
Well, I mean he only said Tokyo's true.
Speaker 4 (53:39):
There are other locations in Japan you could draft true.
And you are up with back to back picks right now,
So go.
Speaker 5 (53:45):
For it, Okay, I have as I got back to
back picks, I'm going to go strong on the first
one I would like to do. I should just give
this that here because Banador will probably steal it. Spend
a week, one full week at all international Disney parks.
I know this is not that domestic Disney, but it
(54:08):
gets me into a lot of the cities that I've
always wanted to see, like Shanghai, Yea, Tokyo and all
of that stuff. Right, But I want to do this
like in full bougie fashion, right, and that's a big
theme of my my trips. So it would be with
VIP tours at each park, stay in the top resorts
in each park, and then spend you know, another week
(54:31):
touring the cities that the parks that they have.
Speaker 4 (54:33):
Yeah, I'm gonna I'm gonna make this concise for you,
and I'm going to give you that Adventures by Disney
World tour, that private jet tour that they did going
around to all that would be. Yeah, and I can't
believe that wasn't my first pick. I don't know how
I didn't think to make that my first picks, but yeah,
that's that's yeah, that's an incredible experience.
Speaker 1 (54:52):
So yeah, that's I like that one. That's a good
first pick for sure.
Speaker 5 (54:59):
Yeah, and I would I would be sure to drink
the proper alcohol in each country that I was.
Speaker 2 (55:04):
Okay, real quick detour.
Speaker 1 (55:06):
Have you guys been to any of the international parks.
Speaker 5 (55:10):
I've been to euro Disney when it was called euro.
Speaker 2 (55:12):
Disney, right, right, right, Okay, I haven't not yet.
Speaker 1 (55:14):
I have done Hong.
Speaker 4 (55:15):
Kong, and that is a beautiful park. I would love
to go back there. So sometimes the flight is a
little bit, uh like a little bit of a problem.
But I had a really great experience there was it
was fantastic.
Speaker 5 (55:27):
So well, my wife Nora, being from Hong Kong, keeps
threatening to take me back there and show me around.
Speaker 1 (55:33):
I didn't know that. That's very cool.
Speaker 3 (55:35):
Yeah, all right, Eric, So you're your first pick of
the second round, now.
Speaker 5 (55:41):
Okay, So mine is an off to grid pick. It
is to actually go off to grid for a full
month in Tahiti on a over the water resort bungalow. Yeah,
with butler full blown service. I want to sit, decompress,
eat seafood, rub like coconut and exotic oils on my body,
(56:04):
that kind of stuff. Do massages every day.
Speaker 4 (56:07):
I think my phone any more details, I don't. I
don't want to hear anymore about your vacation.
Speaker 5 (56:13):
Well, I mean room service and the full nine yards
and then like go off to see the other islands, okay,
and then around Tahati.
Speaker 1 (56:20):
Okay, yeah, I didn't have ta heat it on my list.
Speaker 4 (56:23):
I think once you start to list all of these islands,
it's like, okay, well, you know, you're kind of listening
the same thing over and over. But that is yeah,
that's that sounds those overwater bungalows, by the way, in
those exotic locations, just that sounds amazing.
Speaker 3 (56:37):
Okay.
Speaker 4 (56:38):
I'm back up, and I think I'm going to continue
to play the game here. I don't think Brian's gonna
take the other one that I that is like top
of my bucket list, So I'm just gonna go very
you know, cliche the vacation because I've never been there
and it's Hawaii and you know, I would go to
Alani That's where I would I you know, more familiar
experience for me, but I would love to go you know,
(57:00):
and hopping around Hawaii. So I don't know you could
pick any specific location, but yeah, I'll just say Hawaii
in general.
Speaker 5 (57:08):
Yeah, you took that one off my list too, But
Hawaii is not that's not a generic vacation destination, right,
I mean, there's there's, it's a lot too, and it
is it is paradise.
Speaker 4 (57:18):
Yeah, And I've never heard anybody be like, oh yeah,
I did not enjoy my Hawaii vacation. Everybody's always just
like I would live there if I could, So you know.
Speaker 3 (57:28):
Yeah, you never hear anybody complain about Hawaii, not at all.
Speaker 1 (57:32):
So that that's all I realized that now. Yeah, yeah, no, definitely.
Speaker 5 (57:35):
Time I took my parents for the first time ever,
maybe about ten years ago, when I first bought Alani
Points at DVC, and uh, you know, it took an
Act of Congress to get my mother to fly out here,
stay with us, and then agree to go on the
trip overseas because she was definitely afraid of some medical
(57:56):
emergency and she's like, well, what if I get over
there and I of like a heart attack or something like. Well,
she goes, it's not in the States. I'm like, mom,
it is a state, and too, they do have hospitals
and doctors in Hawaii. It's not like we're going out
to the remote, you know, the jungle. But yeah, so,
I mean even even my mother, who was definitely afraid
of going to Hawaii loved it when she got there.
Speaker 1 (58:18):
That's not very cool.
Speaker 4 (58:20):
All right, Brian, we're back to you. You took Scotland
with your first pick and you got back to back picks.
Speaker 1 (58:24):
Now. Oh man, Uh.
Speaker 3 (58:28):
If I was to pick a location that's already been picked,
but if I was to be a bit more specific
on where in that location, does that count?
Speaker 1 (58:37):
Sure?
Speaker 3 (58:38):
No?
Speaker 1 (58:40):
Kind of yes? No, No, I guess it depends on
what it is talking about here.
Speaker 5 (58:45):
Yes, sure, I will concede that.
Speaker 3 (58:47):
Okay, all right, So here's my idea, all right, hear
me out, shopping spree vacation in Akihebara, Japan.
Speaker 5 (58:56):
Okay, that's oddly specific on the locate, but please please
elucidate on.
Speaker 3 (59:02):
That, okay.
Speaker 2 (59:03):
So, Aki Kubara is electric town.
Speaker 3 (59:05):
An electric town is basically this giant city that's filled
with all kinds of stores you can think of in
the stores are multi levels, so like you have a
store that's like nothing but movie memorabila a movie memorabilia.
I'm slipping up on my words here because I'm just
(59:26):
so excited to go, even though I'm not really going
right now. Yeah, but you have multi tiered like shopping
centers that you can go to, the even like the
Pokemon District For all you nerds out there that may
be listening, I'm one of you that's mug there too,
the the Gundam shops, so you get like the models
and stuff that you can put together and make and
(59:48):
everything else, and it's just.
Speaker 2 (59:49):
It's a huge shopping tourist center.
Speaker 3 (59:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (59:53):
I will admit I was like, I was not familiar
with the name, but I just googled it and yes,
I saw the picture. Like oh yeah, okay, I know
exactly what you're talking about. Yes, this this seems Yeah. No,
I would allow this because I just said Tokyo in general,
you specifically want to go shopping in.
Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
Naki Bara, So yeah, I like it.
Speaker 2 (01:00:13):
Okay, good pick, Okay, I'm glad that's acceptable.
Speaker 5 (01:00:17):
What would you buy there? Name one thing that you
would buy there.
Speaker 3 (01:00:21):
One thing that I would buy there, I would buy
I would go to the Pokemon Center and I would
buy a realistic.
Speaker 5 (01:00:27):
Poke bl oh, okay, interesting, okay.
Speaker 3 (01:00:31):
Because I mean growing up, I've always I was always
a fan of like uh the Pokemon series and the company.
Speaker 1 (01:00:39):
And it.
Speaker 3 (01:00:40):
Even my son he loves Pokemon too, so like even
like getting one for him, like that would be awesome
as well, very cool. Eric, I thought you're like something
like I thought your question was gonna be what would
you drink there?
Speaker 5 (01:00:51):
Well, yeah, drink He'd go there and get a Budweiser
and forget about the sake or anything like that, right.
Speaker 2 (01:00:58):
I would. I would probably go to a karaoke bar.
Speaker 3 (01:01:00):
My h one of my friends that actually lives over
there in Tokyo, he'd probably take me out to karaoke
and drinking.
Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
Very cool there you go, just make sure you go
to the right bars exactly.
Speaker 4 (01:01:11):
Yes, uh yeah, we won't go into any more detail
on that, Brian, you go ahead and kick off the
third round.
Speaker 5 (01:01:16):
It wasn't that kind of a detail.
Speaker 3 (01:01:22):
Second choice, I do have some friends that live out
in Germany, but I would love to go to Germany,
and I would.
Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
Love to visit. I would love it again.
Speaker 3 (01:01:33):
Well, hold second, I'm being I'm gonna be a bit
more descriptive about it, So it's Germany could still be
on the plate for you, depending on where it is you.
Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
Want to call it.
Speaker 5 (01:01:41):
You just ruined it not uh huh, you took it
from me, man.
Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
But I'm a big history buff, so I would want
all the historic sites, all the castles, the architecture. I
have friends that live out there, so I'd love to
visit them as well. But I would like to see
some of the other historical sites, you know, pay my
respects and everything, because if you do go to Germany,
it's I feel personally that that's, you know, one of
(01:02:10):
the few places that you do have to go to.
Speaker 1 (01:02:12):
Okay, all right, so I'll give you. I'll give you Germany.
Speaker 4 (01:02:15):
I don't think i'll take it off my list. I
don't know if Eric has a more specific Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:02:20):
I got to take it off my list too, because
that little weasel Snol stole my idea again. I wanted
to go to Tourst Switzerland, Germany, Austria, visit castles by
really expensive watches because I'm a big watch guy and
have lots of non Franken Frankie booth style Bavarian food.
Speaker 3 (01:02:38):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (01:02:39):
I do love Germany food for sure.
Speaker 3 (01:02:40):
No.
Speaker 4 (01:02:41):
I had specifically Munich for october Fest. That was what
I wanted to go to. But I will often pay
off my list and give you, give you Germany as
a whole.
Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
There, Brian, all right, all right, I am up with
my third pick here. I've got Tokyo and Hawaii.
Speaker 4 (01:02:55):
I am going to go ahead and just take my
other thing that's top of my list because the off
chance that maybe takes it. And Eric, you can tell
me if you had this on your list or not.
But I'm going to go to Cape Town, South Africa,
and probably not. I mean, I know this is a
big touristy thing, but probably not the big thing. I'm
a big adrenaline junkie and I've done I've been skydiving,
(01:03:18):
and so the only thing I can think of that
would be comparable in terms of the adrenaline rush from
skydiving would be getting in a cage with a great
white shark.
Speaker 1 (01:03:27):
Swimming by you.
Speaker 4 (01:03:29):
And that is a big, big attraction at Cape Town
and there. I actually had another location on my list
for that specific reason, but that is something I've always
wanted to do. I know they do tours too, where
you could they try to get them to breach like
you see on Shark Week.
Speaker 1 (01:03:43):
This has been top of my bucket.
Speaker 4 (01:03:45):
List for very long time, so yeah, absolutely, And I've
also just heard really great things about Cape Town being
a beautiful city, so yeah, definitely somewhere I would love
to go.
Speaker 3 (01:03:56):
That sounds awesome.
Speaker 2 (01:03:58):
I'm actually ashamed I didn't think about that.
Speaker 5 (01:04:03):
Yes, that does. That does sound amazing.
Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
Was it on your list?
Speaker 5 (01:04:07):
It was not.
Speaker 1 (01:04:07):
I could have waited for the fourth round. That's okay.
Speaker 4 (01:04:09):
I've got plenty of others that you all right, Eric,
back to you. Now you've got your third and fourth picks.
Speaker 5 (01:04:18):
Back to back. Huh. I got to come up with
I got one, so my my my third pick would
be since Brian stole my last one. I've always wanted
to go see some big races, right auto races, So
I would like to go see the twenty four hours
Lamons in France and stay in you know, great hotels,
(01:04:39):
have vi P you know, experience going to the parties
and the everything at Lamon's, and then zip down to
Monaco for the Grand Prix or sorry, Monty Carlo for
the Grand Prix and spend time staying in Monte Carlo.
In Monaco. I have been there before when I was
(01:05:00):
in college and it was a gorgeous place.
Speaker 3 (01:05:02):
You know.
Speaker 5 (01:05:03):
I would like to do the James Bond casino tuxedo thing.
Go in and play baccarat for a you know, a
few hours, and you know, drink Martini shaking nuts stirred,
take that Bador and then like you know, just watch
the race and be part of the whole F one
experience for that, and then you know, the twenty four
hours Lamons and and you know, I'm a big Lamon's fan.
(01:05:27):
Loved theph McQueen's movie. Even bought a car at the
car show and Franken Mooth that I'm waiting to show
up that was a replica of Steve McQueen's Lamon's car
from the movie.
Speaker 1 (01:05:36):
So gotcha.
Speaker 5 (01:05:39):
Yeah, that's what I would do.
Speaker 1 (01:05:39):
Does sound very cool.
Speaker 4 (01:05:40):
I will just say, I am taking down a list
of our picks here and I'm just going to write
you down for twenty four Lemons that sound good, that
work for you.
Speaker 5 (01:05:48):
There you got twenty four Lemons works? Huh No, I
should that should go on the title of the of
the podcast this week.
Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
Yeah, that's a good one. That is a good episode title.
Speaker 4 (01:05:58):
Now I just put F one vacation Monaco. I mean,
I don't know, I don't know how to summarize that
however you'd want to put it. But yeah, that is
a really really cool one and not one that would
be on my list, Like, that's not a sport that
I am into, but I think it would be a
very cool thing to see in person, for sure. Absolutely,
So your fourth and final pick here, Eric, all.
Speaker 5 (01:06:18):
Right, my fourth and final pick is kind of in
the still in the bougie space. No, that's actually really boogie.
It would be a one hundred and twenty day world
cruise around the world in the concierge tower suite, you know,
two levels, three bedroom suite, private veranda, hot tub bedrooms,
(01:06:40):
et cetera, and then doing excursions at every single pork
that we would visit during that time.
Speaker 1 (01:06:46):
Yeah what who that just happened to?
Speaker 2 (01:06:50):
Eric just claimed the world.
Speaker 1 (01:06:56):
Yeah, nobody has chosen. I think mans and Earth, Lemon,
Lemons and Earth.
Speaker 4 (01:07:03):
That that just happened recently, That around the world cruise
that was like almost a year long. I saw a
lot of people, you know, a lot of like influencer
type media about that. That seems like a crazy experience.
Speaker 5 (01:07:16):
Yeah, and if you could do it in your own
like gigantic power sweet you know, yes, yeah, and it'll
be your home for four months whatever. And then I
couldn't do the around the World Adventures by Disney plane
thing because I would get sick and tired of being
on the plane. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I think I
(01:07:38):
could do that apartment.
Speaker 4 (01:07:40):
Easier to stomach for that long for sure. Okay, my
last pick here. I have so many left on my list.
Speaker 1 (01:07:48):
But you know what, aside from Eric's you know, hitting
all the the Disney.
Speaker 4 (01:07:53):
Parks around the world, we haven't really drafted a theme
park yet. So I'm going to go europe Aupark. I
don't know if you have seen this. I've watched walk
through videos of this park.
Speaker 1 (01:08:04):
It is beautiful, just like the most.
Speaker 4 (01:08:07):
I mean picture like if they turned World Showcase into
an entire theme park and everything. That blew up the
scale ten x that it's such a beautiful park. Looks
like there's some really really fun attractions there too, So
you know, I want to call me a theme park nerd,
but that's that's one of my dream vacations.
Speaker 1 (01:08:27):
I'd love to see europea park.
Speaker 2 (01:08:30):
That's awesome.
Speaker 5 (01:08:31):
It is in Germany, so true.
Speaker 1 (01:08:33):
Yeah, that is true.
Speaker 4 (01:08:34):
I guess Brian, you could overrule me here and I
could pick something else if you want to claim uh,
I think all of Germany here.
Speaker 5 (01:08:44):
Although I did claim the world.
Speaker 3 (01:08:47):
My intercomedian can make so many jokes. But no, I'm
I'm gonna let you. I'm gonna let you go ahead
and uh and cook at that because I mean because
in the spirit of finer details, we've a.
Speaker 2 (01:08:56):
Loted that so far.
Speaker 1 (01:08:57):
So yeah, absolutely, and you can close this out, Brian.
Speaker 3 (01:09:01):
Last pick here, okay, absolute, last pack, last pack, last pick.
Speaker 2 (01:09:07):
I'm going to Alaska to fish.
Speaker 1 (01:09:11):
Not on my list that is a good one. Fishing
to hunt.
Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
Wow. Yeah, I just I feel like it's a bucketless.
Speaker 3 (01:09:19):
Thing of mine that I've always wanted to do.
Speaker 2 (01:09:21):
I've always thought about.
Speaker 3 (01:09:22):
Like after seeing the photos of the Alaska wildlife and
like the forest and everything else, I was just like,
I want to go there and I want to just
relax fish and then you know, maybe just hunt like
a deer and bring it back and you know, have
some venison stort. Away or whatnot. I just I feel
like that would be an experience just worth having.
Speaker 1 (01:09:44):
Yeah, no, that that's very cool.
Speaker 4 (01:09:46):
Probably not the type of trip I would personally see
myself doing in Alaska, but Alaska is definitely.
Speaker 1 (01:09:54):
Yeah that. I don't know how I didn't.
Speaker 4 (01:09:55):
Have that on my list, but all right, so I'll
run through our final lineups here. Brian got Scotland, Akbara, Japan, Germany,
and then hunting and fishing in Alaska. I have Tokyo, Hawaii,
Cape Town, South Africa, and Europa.
Speaker 1 (01:10:09):
Park Eric went with that.
Speaker 4 (01:10:11):
That well, I'll give you the Adventures by Disney World
tour to all of the Disney Parks, Tahiti, the f
one Vacation, the twenty four Lemons Vacation, and then in
Around the World cruise. I'm sure we have some left
on our list, right Eric, you have any honorable mentions
you want to throw out.
Speaker 5 (01:10:29):
There, honorable mentions, you know, trying to come up with
exciting things that I haven't done before, I mean became hard.
It's not a vacation, though, I would go up in
a SpaceX or flu origin.
Speaker 1 (01:10:48):
That's what I was saying earlier. If nobody's taking space
travel yet, so.
Speaker 5 (01:10:53):
Yeah, I would do space travel if I could.
Speaker 1 (01:10:55):
I don't think I could handle it, like physically.
Speaker 2 (01:10:57):
I don't Mars.
Speaker 5 (01:11:00):
No, it's a long trip, man.
Speaker 3 (01:11:04):
I can catch up on all my shows on the
way there.
Speaker 4 (01:11:07):
We can get you in one of those alien uh
you know, hyper chambers, Brian. Anything else left on your list?
Speaker 3 (01:11:14):
H well, I mean you knocked off one of mine
when you said Hawaii, because I wanted to go to
Hawaii to kind of see like the shitty locations for
the Jurassic part. You know, that was definitely that was
definitely one of mine for sure. But I mean as
another location, I mean I used I'd go to France. Uh,
you know, go to Paris, check out the restaurants there.
(01:11:35):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:11:37):
You won't like that, who knows? Who knows? I definitely
will like the wine.
Speaker 4 (01:11:43):
I bet that's yeah, that's a fair point. The top
one I left on my list would be Iceland's always
wanted to go to. My wife, that's the top of
her bucket list is going to Iceland. I also just
had Legend of the Sea, the new Royal Caribbean cruise
ship coming out next year next summer. I haven't gotten
(01:12:06):
to see the icon. I missed out on the Star,
so let's just go for the new one. Legend of
the Seas would be another one. Also their Royal the
Royal Beach Club, Paradise Island, their new Private Island experience
for Royal Caribbean another one. And then I'm a big
Lord of the Rings fan, so New Zealand has always
been top of my list as well.
Speaker 5 (01:12:26):
Why didn't I say that nobody picked Australia.
Speaker 4 (01:12:29):
Yeah, I I considered off well and then I went
to New Zealand instead.
Speaker 1 (01:12:32):
But both of either one of those would be really
really cool.
Speaker 5 (01:12:35):
Well you can do you can do both of them easily.
Speaker 1 (01:12:37):
Oh yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 3 (01:12:39):
Another honorable mention Australia just to fight a kangaroo.
Speaker 5 (01:12:43):
Yeah, you don't want to do that. And then one
from Australia and he said, that's the thing, that's the
thing you just don't want to do again.
Speaker 2 (01:12:51):
No, you don't want to egg them on or anything.
Speaker 5 (01:12:52):
Now they'll kill you support them.
Speaker 2 (01:12:55):
Oh no, that's it.
Speaker 5 (01:12:57):
They'll rip your stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:12:58):
It's kind of a lose lose situation. You don't want
to be the guy beaten up on a kangaroo. So
there's no there's no whim for you. There, Brian, all right, well,
I mean let's move on to our deal of the

Speaker 1 (01:14:08):
We rule our own net reports. New rule.
Speaker 3 (01:14:13):
I have to consult with Eric about the drinking tears
of what I should drink first.
Speaker 5 (01:14:19):

But uh, you know, there you go.
Speaker 5 (01:14:35):
That's the right answer, right, that's the right answer, right there, man.
Speaker 1 (01:14:40):
Either that or just be like next to me.
Speaker 4 (01:14:41):
Anything you can put in a coconut and I'll be happy.
Just I'll drink whatever out of a coconut.
Speaker 5 (01:14:47):
That's even more respectful. We get it. At least been
a Cosmopolitan and a coconut.
Speaker 3 (01:14:51):
I don't think they had a coconut like cup anywhere there.
I'm like, I could be just making real coconut Dude's Yeah, no,
I know, but I don't think they had in the unhand.
Speaker 5 (01:15:00):
That's what it was, you know.
Speaker 1 (01:15:02):
All right, it's probably time to wrap up this episty.
Thanks everyone for listening. We will be back a couple
of weeks. Bye.
Speaker 5 (01:15:10):
Everyone, see everybody have a good week.
