Oh hey, yes, same mayor.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Apple Podcasts for me, because that's the one I pay for.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Well today, unlike many of our shows, we've got a
match that was just played last night, So we've got
a match to dig into. We're going to get into it.
We're gonna get into some discussion topics around MLS All
Star Match, which we'll see three Cromados out there on
the pitch.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
We'll get into all of that.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
We'll look ahead because this is a two match week
for San Diego FC. They've got FC Dallas. They're looking
to finish the deal. They smashed FC Dallas five mil
at Snapdragon Stadium. It's revenge time for FC Dallas. Can
San Diego get all six points in the series. We'll
talk about that to wrap up the show. But guys,

(03:28):
let's start with the burning question that truly everyone in
San Diego should be asking on this beautiful day, which
is where's Milaniloski's mural? Why isn't it up yet? Where's
it gonna be? Should there be more than one? Because

(03:49):
there was more than one.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Goal, there were four goals.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Should there be four murals in the four corners of
the eighteen cities of San Diego? Should they be put
in an interwoven flow? Where does the mural go?

Speaker 5 (04:04):
Gentlemen?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Because the greatest player in the history of San Diego
FC is Milan Iloski.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Wow, I mean Escandido. That was my vote.

Speaker 6 (04:18):
I thought in the chat we discussed it right and
we're like I answered it like legitimately, like you know what,
Washington Park in Escondido.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
He plays pick up there. He grew up there. That'd
be really cool.

Speaker 6 (04:27):
But like the fact that I mean, yes, it's a
it's a new club, but that is a true statement.
The greatest player in San Diego FC history is a
local kid in Milanilowski.

Speaker 3 (04:38):
You know, like he once was.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
An enemy of the San Diego Soccer verse and he
loves scoring against San Diego. But now he helps San Diego.
He's learned from the dark arts and he's learned the
secrets and he's now doing it and it's homegrown cooking
for San Diego FC and Milanioloski and man, it's it's
exciting to to to see what he's been able to
do and honestly shut people's mouths. And if it's just

(05:02):
mine because I was the only one saying to hey,
keep keep bringing off the bench, it's fine, then I'm
fine having been that person. And that's why I'm wearing this.
By the way, whenever Sandy UFC proves me wrong, Hey,
you you get your uh your marketing on me.

Speaker 3 (05:17):
For for an episode. There you go, no other reason, there.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
You go, Uh Sandy UFC getting their flowers from Tony
Sanchez here. Oh man, I think I said the same thing.
It's it's got to be an Escondido maybe outside of
Tony Pepperoni's out there, you know, find a spot somewhere
on Grand man it he Yeah, he could be just

(05:42):
the best player. And he I guess in some ways
he is kind of a homegrown not in the very
traditional way, but as the as the player that was
born here, grew up here, played his soccer here. He
just never he didn't have that professional club to go
to until now. And you know, I want to say it,

(06:05):
and I hope you know, I start hearing the chance
out there at Snapdragon. Milaniloski he's one of our own.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yes, yes, I know it sounds hyperbolic. How many minutes
has Milanaloski played? He's got nine goals. I think it's
like less than four hundred minutes.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
I believe nine two and ninety two. Currently less than
three hundred minutes. Yep.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Yeah, he's averaging a goal.

Speaker 5 (06:43):
Every half hour.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Okay, that's a hat trick a game. And the audacity
of what this perfect human being, the greatest human I've
ever seen, what this man did in Vancouver on the
carpet at BC place, under the dome, in front of

(07:07):
thirsty fans in a battle for first place. He scored
with his left, He scored with his right. He scored
with his dome in ten minutes, nine minutes, A perfect
tact trick. The type of thing that is the stuff
of legend, the type of thing that's spoken about by

(07:31):
kids on a field, by parents in the stands, by
fans at a bar left right head. Let me tell
you being around elite scorers, I've been great friends with
the greatest indoor scorer of all time, Craig Giles. This

(07:52):
is the type of shit scorers talk about. Yeh when
they talk to each other. Okay, when scorers talk to scorer,
they're like, well, yeah, but how many with the left
you're right foot at?

Speaker 2 (08:04):
How many with the left?

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Well, how many times did you go left right header?
How many times did you go left right header? Bike?
You know, like farbar would probably as you know, Tony right,
he'd throw it like, well, what about did you throw
a bike in there along the white like This is
literally the stuff of legend. This is what legends talk

(08:25):
to legends about. And when Milanolosky slotted his fourth goal,
what did he do.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
The Jordan shrug?

Speaker 1 (08:37):
He did the shrug.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
What do you want from me? What do you want
from me?

Speaker 1 (08:41):
He put me on the field.

Speaker 5 (08:43):
I'm gonna score.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Varus obviously early adopter of Chromaniacs because on his Chromaniac
podcasts he scores two goals and a half.

Speaker 5 (08:54):
What is he going to do if you give him
the whole game? Yeah, the obvious answer was four.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
And he's the twentieth player in the history of MLS
to score four goals in a match, the twentieth player
in the history of MLS to score four goals in
a match. He did it forty seven minutes into the match.

Speaker 6 (09:22):
It's incredible. Just I was speaking with somebody from across
the Pond who interviewed me about San DIEGOFC specifically today
and mentioning you know how impressive this was, and just
talking about the league in general and the health and
if this was Robert Lewandowski, it'd be world headlines right now,
world headlines. And granted, we are now understanding what MLS

(09:45):
is and in the reality and where it sits in
the world in global perspective, but when a player scores
four goals in that amount of time, it's not only ludicrous.
That's a goal, that's a p fixed, a perfect some
hat trick is what that call that's called because it's
of the versatility of it because he gets it done.

(10:08):
If anything, he could have done it with his back
if you wanted to. He's virtually unstoppable. As is when
a kid is growing up and playing EAFC or as
it used to be called, FIFA, and you're playing with
your ultimate team and you have a player in real
life go off like this. You transfer them into Chivas,
you transfer them into Chelsea, you transfer them and Alex

(10:31):
is laughing, Yeah, it's true, and you wait for their
team of the week card because that card is going
to be pristine, it's going to be exactly more like
the real life card that you're going to see. And
that's how you build fans. That's how you start building
that fan base. Or a loan player, a player that
is being borrowed for now or now, but I mean.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
It's only going to get more expensive.

Speaker 6 (10:56):
Like I don't know if that like that that's kind of.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Being factored in.

Speaker 6 (11:00):
Last week, he was a certain price and you were
already like, okay, well we're going to negotiate here Now
the A side is Elosky in company.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
Man. And going going back to what Craig said about
going to his left and to his right and crossing
over a little bit, because uh, you know what that
reminds me of. Remember it's a very classic moment in
Pottery's history when Khalil Green wore the throwbacks against the

(11:36):
Cubs and he went to his left and he went
to his right and there was nothing. Yeah, nothing was
getting through shortstop that day. He would and I think
he went what to for four maybe home run, I
don't remember.

Speaker 5 (11:51):
I remember, but.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
But yeah, I think everybody remembers him. Were wearing the
throwback jerseys. The Cubs were the It was a you know,
it was a great night. And you you see that
as a great performance in Padre's history. Well, this is
gonna rink up there right in San Diego sports history
as one of the greatest performances up there. And uh,
you know what a night for Milanailoski. He takes over

(12:18):
the team lead in goals and just one night he
had five goals and then he scored scores falls four
and and h takes over that lead. Now he has
nine man and it's just and it to me just
going to through each goal, even the one he missed,

(12:38):
the one that was blocked right right to the goalie. Yes,
that he smashed it right. It was pure just velocity,
like so much strength behind that kick. And I was like, oh, okay,
I didn't know. I didn't know this was part of
your game, Milanailoski. I want to see more. And then
he gave it. He gave it to us. The second one,

(12:59):
same thing. It was like back to the back to
the goalkeeper, but this time he followed up. He ran
with it, he went right to it and and score
and scored that first goal. And it's like, oh man,
he's got some power on that left leg of his
and and you know he can use it. And and
that's something that we haven't seen out of our strikers,

(13:20):
like a very powerful leg that can just get get
a goal in an instant like that. And you know
you mentioned h Robert Lawandowski. I remember I I've seen
a very good striker in my day and watching Tottenham
one and only Harry Kane, and ye, man, he The

(13:43):
thing about Harry Kane is like he doesn't have like
the agility. He has enough speed, but not the agility,
not the moves, but he has so much patience. I mean,
he finds those windows, those tight corners. That's what makes
Harry Kane so great. That's why he makes it makes
him such a prolific goal scorer that that's what he does.

(14:06):
He just knows where to be. He knows. He has
such good awareness of like, Okay, I know, I know
there's going to be defenders around me. You know, how
am I going to get this kick off? You know
where I need to kick it. He knows exactly how
to do that. And you're kind of seeing that with
with Malona and Alasky too, Like for that third goal,
he knew exactly where he had to be, you know,

(14:27):
and get the header in too. And and it's just
that that is just the awareness of a striker right there,
and that that's like the missing piece, that's the thing
we've been talking about that's going to make this a
more complete team.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
It's the same piece, yep. I mean a perfect header.
This that's one of the most electric plays you'll ever see,
ever see in your life. The guy turns himself into
a torpedo and the torpedo has to hit the middle
of the soccer ball, and he doesn't, you know, lying
parallel to the pitch. My son gets me into a

(15:05):
Japanese anime called blue Lock. Have you guys ever heard
of blue Lock?

Speaker 3 (15:10):
Yes, let's go.

Speaker 1 (15:12):
Bluelock is the search for the ultimate striker in Japanese football.
And it's a whole group of strikers, nothing but strikers
that are brought to this academy. And some strikers have
to play goalkeeper and some have to play defender, but like,
it's nothing but strikers, and all they're trying to fight
is like the most egotistical, the most selfish, the most aware,

(15:33):
you know. And I feel like we have stumbled onto
that striker because the ultimate hero of Bluelock, his ultimate
power is awareness. He knows how to quote unquote smell
a goal like he Milan Alaski knows how to smell
a goal, like he knows the smell of a goal.
He knows to be in the right place, he knows

(15:55):
the speed at which to play to get the ball,
and then he knows what to do with it. And
you know, I brought up Childs, and I know we're
talking out door to indoor. Although Craig Child's played MLS
for CHIEVSUSA. But like, he is a player I've been
around in my professional career that just scores, scores from
over here, scores from over there, scores with his head,

(16:16):
scores with his left, scores with his right.

Speaker 5 (16:18):
Give him the ball in the area.

Speaker 1 (16:19):
He's gonna kill you and Alasky is giving a.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Guys, this is a legend being made.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
If he never scores again, what he's done is the
shit of legends.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Yeah, Like, do you remember.

Speaker 1 (16:33):
This guy who scored nine goals in under three hundred
minutes in the inaugural season.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
But what if he keeps going?

Speaker 1 (16:40):
You know, here's I'll be hyperbolic as as all get out.
You know, here's kind of reminded me of Cleanseman. It's
kinda reminded me of Cleanseman, like finding spots, being in
the right place, being this obnoxious guy that just finds
his way.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
That's that's a Loski right now. Like, guys, the.

Speaker 1 (16:59):
Hud audacity of hope that he can be R nine,
Like why can't he be our nine?

Speaker 3 (17:08):
I don't, I don't. I don't see any evidence.

Speaker 6 (17:11):
And that's what I will always support my arguments in
terms of what I genuinely think of like, hey, well
this should happen.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
We feel this way, but this is what should happen.

Speaker 6 (17:20):
And I generally thought, look, if Milanailovski is being very
productive off the bench, if you have Marcus and Varson
who is healthy, which, by the way, check out that
injury report he is listed once again in Varson, So
just something to keep an eye on. It's it's the
natural progression of soccer. You're supposed to put Tomasanklder. Hey

(17:41):
he gets a goal too, great, good on him, by
the way, But Aloski is just cementing himself as the
you have no no absolute standing if you want to
put me at a sub anymore.

Speaker 3 (17:55):
I start from here on now.

Speaker 6 (17:57):
And he tells Mikey Bonds, Hey, by the way, I
start like, I don't like, I might I may train
a little lighter, I may train a little bit on Separately,
I might train, I might, I might drink an extra
gatory today. And Mikey Bodis should probably say, you know
what you do you it's been working, whatever, whatever's been happening,
go ahead and do you and you know this is

(18:17):
just so cool seeing him also just being shown in
the community as well, right like I'm starting to see.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
Lawsky in in in the news.

Speaker 6 (18:25):
I'm starting to see you Loski around town doing the
circles and the circuits and being like, hey, local kid,
local kid, like good that that that.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
Fills a cup for this team.

Speaker 6 (18:34):
This this fills a cup for the team, not just
in terms of like a good story, but a literal killer,
a nightmare. There was a video I believe it was
his family. He called him Milan the nightmare.

Speaker 5 (18:47):
I heard that.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
Yes, it's a nightmare.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
Yeah, he's the nightmare.

Speaker 6 (18:52):
That's that's good. That's from here on out. That's that's
what it is like. And uh, that number thirty two Jersey.
If it turns to a number nine next year or
just kind of goes to a different one, that's fine.
But let me tell you thirty two San Diego Eloski
that that's that's.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
What people are gonna talk about.

Speaker 6 (19:09):
Right. Did you remember when he had that back in
the day that season, Oh thirty two?

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Oh yeah, that's an og fan. Oh that's an you know,
you might.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
Really want one of those kids, like I want one.
I want to thirty two a low Ski Now, yeah,
I mean I don't know, Alex can can he be
the nine.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
Yeah, no, no doubt. He has to be the nine.

Speaker 1 (19:31):
Now.

Speaker 2 (19:32):
We don't have anyone that can do the things he
can do in that position. Even yeah, even if you
know Chokey comes back, it's gonna be really fun to
see all three of them, you know, start a game.
You got Chokey, left, Alowski, Dryer. That that's gonna be
so fun to watch because defenses are gonna have to

(19:56):
You're gonna have to You're gonna have to uh to
man mark one of these guys, Right, is it gonna
be Twos's gonna be Dryers, gonna who's it gonna be? Yeah,
that that's gonna be. That's gonna be really tough for
the for the cush that has to figure that out,
because I don't I don't I think if you try
to stop one of them, then you're gonna leave somebody open.

(20:17):
And they're they're gonna any any three of those guys
can can score. So that that's gonna be a lot
of fun. It's so cool to see a Loski be
that homegrown kid because yeah, now we're seeing it with
you know, kids are gonna be looking up to him now, right,
and and they're gonna be growing up and they're gonna
and they're gonna want to come through the system, right

(20:40):
the San Dio FC system. This is gonna be their
pathway to come up and be on the team. And
just because they saw a Loski do it, you know,
they they see him on Sandy OC. So I think, uh,
us taking advantage of two we have two local guys
and Luca and Milan. Uh you know, it's it's a

(21:01):
really good thing for us because I think a lot
of the kids here in the area are going to
see that and be like, hey, I want to be
just like them.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
Joe Musgrove got a mural for a no hitter. You know,
he'd only won a handful of games for the San
Diego Padres at that time, but he got a no hitter.
It was in April that mural went up and grow
smart ground floor murals, Get on it, Get on it, sons,
get stuck in.

Speaker 3 (21:30):
Did you see the laundry list of achievements?

Speaker 6 (21:32):
You know, every press blast has just like this person
did this, this person did this, this person did this.
Milanailowski's is an essay of achievements.

Speaker 3 (21:44):
Just in this game.

Speaker 6 (21:45):
And again we're talking about twelve minute period Landloski made
his first start for Sandy You have seen the MLS
Losco register the club's first ever hat trick in his
three goals. By the way, he scored four first twelve minutes.
Escandido native has scored the most goals in for SANDYFC.
Check like all these first again, like all these first
are also part of his history and part of San

(22:05):
Diego c's history. This hall in the thirty four, thirty fifth,
thirty six, and thirty seventh are the thirty seventh goals
of the season. And now he has scored five goals
in ninety minutes. Because again, not just Milanilowski, but Sando
FC as a whole has scored nine goals in two matches.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
Nine goals. Incredible, Like, who's going to keep up with that?
That's and and by the way, this is against one
and two potentially three.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
But now on the road, Oh, on the road, Oh.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
Without your without your center back, Oh without your center mid,
Oh without your other organizing veterans center mid. And you
did it all guys. This run for San Diego FC
is raising the bar to levels that I didn't think
was possible. And it's time to expand the show. Beyond
number thirty two, but he deserved every one of those

(23:00):
twenty minutes plus of discussion of Milanalosky.

Speaker 5 (23:04):
You scored four goals.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
It was mid at forty seven.

Speaker 1 (23:09):
We've got a fordrick, and we did.

Speaker 2 (23:11):
He was talked about the most impressive one, and I
think it was the last one. I think that one
was actually pretty cool.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
And I know it was a great goal. I mean no,
it was a classic clinical rushing coming in on pace, fires, collected, confident.
Eloski is an absolute killer. Now it's a team game.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
And every one of.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
Those goals were assisted, which is something into itself, and
that particular Plass was the third astist for Andre Streyer.
Alex Maighten did Yeoman's work to jump over the ball
and to dummy it because my wasn't going to score

(24:00):
a goal there, but letting it get through to a
Lawsky allowed the Kromados to score a goal.

Speaker 5 (24:07):
And that's absolutely gigantic.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Andres Dryer, who prior to this probably had the opportunity.
There's the hot sea. That's brilliant awareness, that's that's it's
in your blood stuff right there. That makes mikey varis
a truth teller when he says, the game's in your

(24:30):
blood when you're able to do Oh wow, coming, I
didn't see that.

Speaker 6 (24:37):
Beautiful by our our friend Travis and uh, I mean
great work here by him. And this is this is
exactly he's a superhero at this point. This is this
isn't even doing justice to the magic that doctor Strange
and the Milan the nightmare Eloski did yesterday, the nightmare.

Speaker 1 (24:59):
But Dryer had an incredible match and I'd like to
add the second goal. While Dryer got the assist, the
hockey assist was Yepea Verskov who sent who made the
brilliant pass and sent the ball from midfield to set
up the two v one that set up Elowski's goal.
You know, these are a couple of all stars obviously

(25:20):
for San Diego FC, and we'll get into that more.
But but I thought the play of those veterans, Dryer
stands out to Verskov. He he you have to pay
attention to know why he's so good for this team.
But those guys were great on.

Speaker 3 (25:37):
Wednesday night, and it kind of gives me a.

Speaker 6 (25:41):
Good feeling about the MLS votes in a sense because
Yepe is on there like that tells me because again
learning this league.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
I'm just like, you know this, Craig.

Speaker 6 (25:50):
Historically, there are some leads that just look at stats.
I'm like, that guy scored the most, he's an All Star. Hey,
that guy's you know whatever. But no, like a boring midfielder,
defensive midfielder that slows things down that it's never really
seen or mentioned until he is to get an All
Star vote for that, That tells me that there's somebody

(26:11):
who's voting that knows the game. And if that's what
MLS has, I really appreciate, uh that that that's being
taken care of Alex Oh.

Speaker 2 (26:20):
Yeah, well deserved by Jeta. Yet you don't you don't
see his stats stattoned out as much as the others,
right they Yeah, whoever voted you know for for jet
Ba to come in and it did, did a really
great job because he yeah, he's a more of a
central defensive midfielder and you know he does things well,

(26:45):
especially off the ball that you're not counting on the
stat sheet, right, he just and everything and for our offense,
for every everything kind of just flows through him. And
I think that that's also key there that someone needs
to see it and really feel out what is happening
in the system for Jetpe and for Dryer. My goodness, man,

(27:10):
he's getting the conversation of MVP already. And we're almost
over the halfway point of the season. And for those
that are the uninitiated and don't watch, haven't watched MLS
and this is like your first time. The gold contributions

(27:31):
is the factor to win the MLS MVP Award, also
known as the Landon Donovan Award, And actually that would
be pretty cool in the first season we have a
San Diego team winning the Landon Donovan Award, that that
actually would be really good. Dryer has nineteen so far.

(27:54):
I think if you get over the thirty goal, goal
goals and assists gold contribution stat you're pretty much you
know you're in it. You're gonna be in the top
conversation for this for this award. So and it's it's
so great to see what he can do. And I
think he just demonstrated that so well in this last game.

(28:18):
Three assists, and he just knows how to set you
up really well with each wall. It just comes from
you know, spending years playing overseas and it it just
you know, you could see the that's like the X
factor right now. It's just like the the veteran leadership.
He can bring out just the the awareness, the where

(28:41):
to place the ball and it just up to the
players to do it and now and something that I'll
cross over one more time. And this is a crossover
I actually don't like doing because I don't like this
league as much as other people do. But there's something
we used to hear a lot down in the mission valley.
It was Rivers to Gates and I think drier to

(29:06):
Aloski is starting to sound a lot better and I
think that's going to be the new Rivers to Gates.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
I love that. I love that as Yeah, yes, me too, Alex.
I love that one, you know what. Fantastic.

Speaker 6 (29:22):
And I was just gonna say, like, man, like, is
there an MLS just like ah, just a superstar super
sub vote where Heloski is able to just slide in
and as an all star like because I'm like I
get it, Joky, like sure, but like, if if anything,
what have you done for me recently Eloski?

Speaker 3 (29:42):
Like can you just borrow that for the for the
for the day, like.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
Well, and I think I meant I mentioned this to
you know, someone that I was talking to yesterday. Yeah,
they asked about Aloski being in and I was like, well,
he might take choky spot. And then I want to
try to correct me. It was like, well, Chokey's gonna
come back on Saturday. It's like, well j could gets Hurtle,

(30:06):
And I want to say that that that part quietly,
I hope it doesn't happen because he's a great player.
This is uh, you know, he's the third player in
the in the All Star Game for us. And what
I think what everybody has to realize, this is an
All Star game that doesn't do what most teams do

(30:27):
or most leagues, I mean where everybody gets a representative
and this is this. This isn't like that. There's only
so many spots and I try to look at I
try to look it up yesterday. Is there like a
reserve spot if someone you know drops out, gets hurt
something like that, and I couldn't find anything. But if

(30:48):
if something does happen, I'm I'm guessing that Alasky will
will get you know, a call up to the All
Star Game. But that would be fun to see for
four guys. I think that's what I heard Vancouver get right, Yeah,
yesterday that Vancouver has their four guys going, Hey, I
think we're just you know, we're just as good as Vancouver,

(31:09):
even better, that we deserve four guys.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
Well, look, when Alaski scores his sock trick on Saturday
and has a six goal match, then it'll just be
impossible to deny. But that's a story for another day
before we get away from BC Place. Five to three
was the final. That's three goals conceded. I think there
were some lessons to be learned out of the second

(31:33):
half after Elaski's fourth goal. From four to one to
through four to two, which is a period of twenty
ish minutes, Vancouver held the ball mostly in sdfc's attacking third.
It was a peppering of goal. It was chance after chance.

(31:57):
It was some missed opportunities. Vancouver had a number of
missed opportunities over the course of the match, which led
the analyst on Apple TV Plus to say pretty late
in the second half that he thought Vancouver was the
better team on the night at the moment that it

(32:19):
was four to two, and.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Literally, as he said it on Hell scored for five
to two and it was like, really crazy, that's wild.
How good, they would they must be to be losing
five to two and still be better. Like, you've got
to be really good to be losing five two and
still be better at that time.

Speaker 5 (32:40):
Yeah, right here, ninetieth minute, He's like, I do believe
Vancouver the better team.

Speaker 1 (32:46):
Oh, Paulakari two on hill.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
Okay, by the way.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
As the team just conceded for a fifth time.

Speaker 5 (32:56):
Yeah, and to their credit, they got one late. All
they punched a couple in. There were a couple of
very weak up performances in terms of clearances from a
couple of the defenders for SDFC on the evening, but
I did think the bunkering was not great. And having
said that, I'd also like to say that Vancouver got

(33:19):
their second goal playing eleven on ten because Alvarado went
down stayed down. I'm not sure the exact timing.

Speaker 1 (33:27):
I don't know if anyone timed it out, but it
felt like it was over a minute that he stayed
down and Vancouver kept playing it, kept playing it in
the offensive third and again that analyst was like and
very well, so why not keep shooting? I felt like
that dude has never been to San Diego, Like you
should come for vacation, enjoy some kind of sata brilla,

(33:50):
you know the case of Bria, find out how good
our place is. But anyways, uh, I don't know what
did you guys think about that? Because that was pretty rough.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
Yeah, over Alex, Yeah, that it's hard, right when when
you're a referee to you know, you're trying to see
what's going on with with the ball when when action
is flowing on on one side, right, But when when
a players down like that, I would think that you

(34:20):
should you know, I think everyone kind of sees like, yeah,
he's calling for help, he's waving the trainers over. I
think at that point you kind of should be stopping
play and get him some help. And then on top
of that, he had to leave in a stretcher. That's
not really a good look for the referees. And yeah,

(34:41):
they I really do feel like they shouldn't have gotten
that goal. They just kept playing And yeah that I
really hope that. You know, I call him double a.
Uhlan Elverado is okay, because man, he was he was
having a pretty good year. He was our depth piece

(35:03):
in the midfield and and kind of losing that it
it's kind of you're kind of asking questions about the
midfield but and it it was it was kind of
a for me. It was a hard play, uh play
to watch because I could see him just like kind
of waving like come on, you know, give me some
help here. But yeah, what are your thoughts, Tony?

Speaker 6 (35:24):
I mean, this is a play where in the run
of play you are SANDYFC. You have one of your
teammates down like you question the referee in hey, I
thought you were all about player safety and and and
that should be the first thing every single referee, every
person involved with the game should be looking at his

(35:45):
player safety. It is an unwritten rule for a team
to be courteous and exercise fair play and say, hey,
you know what, we're gonna stop play, kick the ball
out health first. However, they don't have to do that.
You know, in a boxing match, if you put your
hands down at any moment, anybody can strike and knock
you out. And if the referee wasn't separate, like you

(36:08):
just need to be on guard at all times. Unfortunately,
this is a situation where you find yourself in h
and you can see the goal. But I don't like
the lack of consistency for referees in that sort of
things where that human element really comes through, in those
moments where hey, even if the guy was faking, even
if there was a little bit of X or caramano stackles,

(36:30):
if there was a just too much you acting that
that's you can deal with that later, right, But you
dealt with the right thing first. You stop the match,
stop to play, get him some help, goal over, say okay, cool.
The other team's gonna get mad at you because you
stopped the offensive flow, and you can just say point
to well, if it was your player, you'd want me
to stop it, right, and they're the answer should be right.

Speaker 3 (36:54):
But again, in the flow of things is an unwritten rule.
The ball should have gone out. They did what they did.
There's a goal conceded, hopefully for Abo. You know, it's
better news.

Speaker 6 (37:04):
We'll be looking and keeping an ear out at training
just to see what the update is. Just as you've
known and as we've come to learn MLS and Sandy
WEFC and just in general with soccer, just any injury
and timetables. They don't like to get anywhere near any
sort of information for that.

Speaker 3 (37:23):
It's not like any other.

Speaker 6 (37:24):
Leagues where you have, hey, position, team player out, parentheses.
This is what it's out for three to five weeks. No,
you're not going to get that with MLS at all.

Speaker 2 (37:36):
Yeah, there's no il list in MLS, So yeah, you
just kind of play with what you got here.

Speaker 5 (37:43):
And I think it bears noting, especially for newer fans, that,
unlike many other MLS teams, San Diego FC does not
have an MLS Next or USL Championship affiliate that they
can just go call up players from. So every time
that STFC needs to replace a player, they got to

(38:04):
go sign somebody. They've got to make a roster move.
They don't have a right to dream academy here that's
ten years deep, that is built up, an infrastructure that
is built to replace that's coming, that's coming in the future.
The twenty thirties are bright for San Diego FC and
for the system, but for now you have to go

(38:25):
outside to get somebody. So, you know, I hope Alvarado
both A is okay, but B if not, De la
Torre and Goodoy come back in time. Maybe one game
missed or something in the bridge, but come back to
cover that up, you know, and then it's kind of

(38:47):
an issue that is healing behind the scenes for San
Diego FCCEN. But a five to three win. Guys, did
you honest talk, like real talk, did you ever think that,
outside of maybe the first two to three matches where
there's no sample size, that STFC would be in first
place in the West at any point this season?

Speaker 3 (39:07):
No?

Speaker 6 (39:08):
No, And you know how I've straight to that like
straight to are very pragmatic, Like no, Like I didn't,
And I think that that was much like people were
on the far bottom of the spectrum.

Speaker 3 (39:24):
We're like, yeah, no, fourteen to.

Speaker 6 (39:25):
Fifteen, that's what they're gonna be clawing out of and
hopefully putting something together. And okay, just like they were
completely wrong, equally as wrong was everybody saying, well, they're
gonna be battling for playoffs at this point, they're an
elite team.

Speaker 3 (39:38):
You cannot question that.

Speaker 6 (39:40):
Everybody was wrong unless you said they're going to be
the best of the best in the entire country. Everybody
was wrong, and that's okay. We have new information, we
have new players. We're starting to see what teams are
doing whenever they play Sante Gogoc for a second time.
There are teams that have adjusted better than others. There
is definitely more quality in some teams and others. Then

(40:02):
you're learning to see how those matchups are happening. But
this is data, This is raw data, and the raw
data states San Diego FC is the best, if not
one of the best teams in the entire country period.

Speaker 2 (40:18):
Yeah, I got to agree with you that before the season,
I mean the very first chromatic FC posts. Actually it
was second. When I previewed the LA Galaxy match, I
was like, well, maybe if we squeak out a tie,
we'd be good. But I was a little you know,
they're the defending champs, lots of question marks on the

(40:41):
back line, goal keeper, things like that. That's what I
was hearing, and I just didn't think it would be
a first place team this quickly. I thought that, if anything,
we'd be playing for a wildcard spot. I think I
thought that this team needed to grow and and maybe

(41:04):
endure some of those losses. I really thought when yeah,
when they're playing like Columbus Crew, Sounders, l A f C,
those were gonna be games that like, hey, maybe maybe
you draw, Like when I saw, you know, first in
the schedule, like those are some tough teams and you
got it, you drew Columbus, You beat l a FC,

(41:26):
you beat the Sounders at home. Those are some major wins.
And then I think it just kind of it's the
expect expectations started to grow to the point now that
everyone's asking like, Okay, what what do we need to
do to get to the to the to the wild card?
What do we need to do to get to the playoffs? What? What?

(41:48):
How many points do we need to secure this first place?

Speaker 6 (41:52):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (41:53):
You know, uh if if you want to go for
this supporters shield. Yeah, those are the questions that that
are asking now, like how how far can we take
this team? And man, I try to do my best
Jonah Hill impression the this this morning, and I do

(42:13):
have some answers that maybe if you're if you're gunning
for the wild card, if you're trying to clinch a
playoff spot, I say, it's going to be forty seven points, Okay,
just about that. And and you know right now we're
at thirty six, so about twelve points, So that's four wins. Yeah,

(42:34):
we need four wins just to probably get a get
a wildcard spot, right, And I would say within those
next few games you could probably do that, you know,
just stay for you know, first in the West. This
in the last ten years or so, we've seen teams

(42:57):
get you know, fifty six points to win it, or
it could be seventy two. I think the average right
now in the last ten years is it's about sixty
two points. So we're not that far off. We're you know,
twenty six points away from getting those sixty two points
to keep that secure that first place spot. So if

(43:21):
people are gutting and gunning high and trying to think like, hey,
maybe we can get a supporter shehel out of this
out of this first year, I think it's possible. I
mean you're thinking, you know, you're obviously we should be
in the playoff conversation right now, and then and then
you're you're also thinking like, well, how how in the

(43:44):
first year, how can you get the most wins for
an expansion team that's only seventeen.

Speaker 5 (43:52):
Right, that's six more wins.

Speaker 2 (43:54):
That's six more wins. And if you want to get
the most points for an expansion team that's fifty seven,
we're twenty one points away. I think that's all doable.
We still got fifty more matches to go. That forty
five points available pretty much asking for like, if this,

(44:17):
if this team can just coast, you know, maybe at
five hundred, maybe you know, maybe just a little above it,
you can you can make, you know, crush those milestones
right there. You could probably get the most wins and
the most points by coasting.

Speaker 5 (44:35):
What if they did well, how are they gonna stop
two key with a Laski with dryer, stop the triple nightmare?
We got to find out? Well, I think it's it's
a real statement as to the quality of San Diego
of c gentlemen that when they announced the MLS All
Star Teams that three players who had not been in

(44:58):
the league, who had been identified by this first year franchise,
two of them as designated players to lead their club,
another as their designated captain, that those three players made
the MLS All Star Team. Tucky Lozano, Ander Stryer, Yepe

(45:18):
di Verskov to me, obviously, all the flowers of the
players for their accomplishment, But this to me is a
gigantic bouquet to Tyler Heaps, because the way that this
club has been built has allowed these three players who
he picked one two, three to be the guys to

(45:40):
be the leaders, the tone setters, the drum beat of
the team. They've all been named to the All Star team.

Speaker 6 (45:49):
It's incredible, like this doesn't happen, Like when I say,
like I've watched enough soccer, just at least the modern
game where the scouting aspect it's just so surgical, where
everything's just scientific and the data and the analytics and
all sports have become very specialized. This is what it
means when soccer starts harnessing that power in its completeness.

(46:13):
And I think the structure of MLS also allows for
all these sorts of unique problems and situations for Tyler
Heaps to solve when it comes to gam when it
comes to Tam, like if there's one person that at
some point we should just sit down and tie down
and be like, Okay, Tyler, make me understand how you

(46:34):
understand gam and Tam, I want to go ahead and
be that good at this, And that would be the
real genius of somebody, just somebody be able to explain
it and dumb it down into Layman. And I'm pretty
sure we can go ahead and have that conversation because
in my interactions with him.

Speaker 3 (46:49):
He's a dude, he's a bro.

Speaker 6 (46:51):
He's a young guy who knows what he's doing, and
he's put down an absolute lethal squad of teams players
that are gonna really bulldoze through this league. And they
have been, and it's incredible. Every single point part of
this team has something to offer to the squad, and

(47:12):
even those who aren't because of injury Marcus and Varsen, like,
you're and how pivotal he was, You're not even missing.
You're not even like, oh, man, if only in Varson
was in this team. And when we were saying, oh,
maybe this team does need Marcus, here comes, I mean,
here comes the deal that San Diego FC worked on

(47:32):
with Orange County SC back when that was barely starting
and the talks were starting for San Diego FC to
become MLS, and they made that partnership. They got to
Milanoski from USL, shipped them over to FC norse Let like,
this has been in the works way before a ball
I was actually kicked. This was planned by San Diego FC,
and now they're bearing the fruits of it. So if

(47:55):
this is the direction that San Diego C's going, let
me let me tell you, like, San Diego fans are
going to be in for a really, really good ride.

Speaker 3 (48:02):
Here. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (48:04):
There, their stars are playing like stars. I mean that
that's as simple as it can be, right if if
anyone caught the what was released a couple of days ago,
I believe the MLS salaries came out, and that's information
that comes out around this time each year. Tricky Lozano

(48:27):
is actually one of the highest paid players in MLS
and he's certainly with his goals and and his contributions,
he's well deserved of that All Star feet and he
he really is playing like a playing like a designated player,
and so is Under Stryer, who we got for two

(48:48):
point four million. And let me tell you that's uh,
that's considered a bargain right there, to get a doesnt
M player of his stature and with his contributions for
for that type of deal. I mean, you do that
every day of the week and twice on Sundays, so

(49:09):
that you know. And Jepe has been like a revelation
to see him play. And and that's the thing about
these guys is we didn't know much about them. I knew, well,
we we well, we all knew about Trucky being a
Mexican nationally fan. Uh we we we knew about Trucky,

(49:29):
But we didn't know about Dryer, we didn't know about
Traverse Off, we didn't know about in bart Center. Any
of these guys they were coming over. This is all
new to them. So how they were going to adapt
to a new league was was going to be interesting.
It's it's and how they were gonna play with with
these other guys that are they to the stature of

(49:50):
what they've seen, you know, out overseas where where they
were playing or you know, it's like, how how how
much of a learning curve was this going to be?
And it's been great to see how this team plays
like such a fun team. They play together, they stick together,
and not only that, they they play out the entire game.
Now they they they don't mind, they don't They will

(50:13):
go for the late goal if they have to. It's
even in you know, garbage, let's score another goal.

Speaker 5 (50:21):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
And we'll talk about Dallas in the second and that
that's kind of what they did. And yeah, this is
this is a great team, very well put together by
Mikey Virus. And I got his name, Tyler. There we go, Tyler,
mister Horan. Yeah, well, I.

Speaker 5 (50:42):
Mean the way he's going right now, he's hanging on
to his name.

Speaker 1 (50:46):
I've got a couple of unanswerable questions that we can
just kind of table for another day, like how much
does the Luski's development effect the big time short term
decision making? Do you go try and get another striker,
or would you consider using a third DP slot on
something like a center defender or you know, something toward

(51:06):
the back which would be a little less traditional, Or
would Alaski's development allow you to just go under twenty
two and not go with the third DP because you're like,
aloskies are third DP and he's making whatever peanuts? Does
this team even need Marcus and Varts? And could there
be a world where they're moving away from him going

(51:28):
forward because he just doesn't have a job. We don't
need to talk about that stuff. We can time and
further data will help answer even the question why is
SDFC going on the road.

Speaker 5 (51:39):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (51:40):
All I can say is that these two matches, and
I'm not kidding you, going to Minnesota, going to Vancouver,
getting these results on the second half of the international break,
missing some of your key players, missing chew Key.

Speaker 5 (51:58):
This is making me a belief. These are the things
that make me go, if this team can do this,
why can't they play for MLS Cup? Why can't they
play for Supporters Shield? You know, why can't they go
for the top of the top and try and be
in Conker CAF Champions League next year like Vancouver was
this year, Like all this stuff is on the board,

(52:20):
and these two road results are the results that are
making me dream, giving me the right to dream.

Speaker 6 (52:31):
It's a consistency, the consistency that this squad and Mikey
Vadas is instilled and the confidence to be themselves. There's
players here who, yes, they understand the assignment. I need
to go ahead and be a defensive midfielder on the
left side where I usually in Panama, if you're Goldoy
historically play on the right side. But I understand the
assignment that I need to let that spot be for

(52:53):
yipis Firskov and I need to contribute to the team
and do what I need to do and be the
enforcer that I need to be while still maintain my
identity as a player. And that is something that you
see from every single one of these players that take
the field of San Diego FC. They are really able
to say I'll do what you're asking me to and

(53:13):
be consistent about it, but I'll offer who I am.
And that's where you see the sparks of individuality throughout
this team and the squad. And that's what makes this
team very special because yes it's a team. They have
the consistency, they have the discipline to maintain and not
frustrate themselves when it's just not working. They can break
somebody down and that's the hardest thing to do for

(53:35):
any team is to instill that.

Speaker 3 (53:37):
And they've had that since the get go. They had
it in Galaxy they ruined you heard and Isryer say,
I ruined.

Speaker 6 (53:42):
We ruined the party here and we loved it like
that was already there And that's impressive. And that's again
kudos to Mikey Vadas and his staff and the human
development and that's something that I love about right to dream.
And again, like I may be pragmatic, I may be
like me or may about some stuff with San Diego FC,
but like they have a human development person who looks

(54:05):
after the players, not just in one way, but just
as an overall human, which is the cool aspect of
these kids coming into it in fifteen sixteen. They're going
to develop into hopefully good human beings going up. And
you know this to say, I'm really happy, Craig whenever
I hear your former you know, associates of your fellow

(54:28):
bompies on radio waves who are you know, usually talk
about baseball and I hear them talking about soccer like ah,
something something popped up.

Speaker 3 (54:37):
Oh the crew in la oh okay, San Diego FC. Okay,
that's interesting.

Speaker 6 (54:43):
Glad you guys are talking about I'm glad it's making waves.
I'm glad it's making a really really.

Speaker 5 (54:50):
Does it run deep too?

Speaker 3 (54:54):
One day, one.

Speaker 6 (54:55):
Day everybody will also talk about wave in that same way.

Speaker 3 (54:58):
Maybe maybe, but.

Speaker 6 (55:00):
If not, hey, that's fine. Snapdragon will be taken care
of by STFC.

Speaker 2 (55:06):
Yeah, it's it's this is a fun time. You know,
the vibes are just off the chart right now, and
and you know, everybody, just come come on in, just
enjoy the party, enjoy the good times we're having.

Speaker 1 (55:22):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (55:23):
It seems like we found a great striker in Alasky
and even some of the things like like Dryver is
a designated player. He plays out in the wing and
he will come into the midfield and get in those
pockets and also go out and defend, and he's a
pretty good defender. The way he does things is not

(55:47):
what you see out of a winger, and then a
winger from his stature, right, you pretty much want your
winger just go out wide. You know, we'll get you
the ball. And no, he he wants the ball. He
will come in and try to get it himself. That
was the reason he scored that goal in the first
places last week. He's like, I want the ball. I'm
going to stay stay here in the midfield, and then

(56:09):
I'm gonna shoot it from here. Uh yeah, that's that's
the type of player he is, and it it's really
showing in the team like they they they're doing the
things that just needs to get done, right Tony, Like
like you said, it just all the little things that
need to get done. He's doing it. Even last night,
he's out there playing attacking midfield fielder role letting uh

(56:33):
uh you know, on head play in front of him,
play boat tang in front of him.

Speaker 1 (56:39):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (56:40):
He he was he was more in the midfield, uh
in those last final minutes and he lost me too.
He kind of came in and then he was he
was also coming out. So it's like these guys are
doing the things that they're they're asked, and they're doing
it pretty well and that that's just a team mentality

(57:01):
and it's really great to see in their first season.

Speaker 5 (57:06):
Well, guys, let's wrap up with a preview of Saturday's
match because it's a two match road week for San
Diego FC, not back home until the first weekend of July,
and it wraps up here. FC Dallas a club that
when we chatted about them the first time, knew that

(57:28):
this was a team that on the road really wasn't
bringing a lot, wasn't scoring, was basically playing for draws,
and San Diego FC thumped them five nothing. So this
is FC Dallas's opportunity to show that they've learned something
that that home pitch matters, that they've made adjustments to

(57:51):
what SDFC can do, and I mean, they got a
hope that they've got something more in the guns because
this STFC club is coming in having scored nine goals
in the last two matches on the road and they
beat you for five, as they would say, and my
my beloved hockey comedy, Suresey pumped your five goose, you

(58:15):
know it pumped your five Goose last time. So what
are you gonna do this time? Dallas FC? Dallas, what
do you think, Alex? You are a preview meister man.

Speaker 2 (58:27):
Yes, last time we beat them at home five nothing.
We got two goals at a Lossana Dryer got a
goal of while Cai surprisingly got a goal. Alasky got
a goal. That was the game. He kissed the badge.

Speaker 5 (58:42):
Yep, and came into the stands.

Speaker 2 (58:44):
Yeah, yes, he was out there. He wanted a party
with all the all the people out there in the
for that and he is I mean that that was.
That was when we first saw you know, the lore
of Alasky is starting to come out. But man, this
uh thise FC Dallas team is it's really something. They

(59:04):
only have one, well one regular season home win. They
have another home win, but that's against a v Alta FC.
That was for the US Open Cup, So that one
really you can count it if you want. But only

(59:25):
win was against Sporting nets Casey and that was a
two one victory. And Sporting Casey they also have their
issues too. But uh, last night watching the a little
bit of the San Jose Earthquakes and two two guys
got red cards, so we might not see them, and
one is actually a pretty big deal in Sebastian Ebaga.

(59:51):
He he is a normally their starter in the back line.
And I'm I wonder if this is one of those
if they want to appeal it or if they're just
gonna have to go through the and you know the
the red card thing that they do where they have
to sit out for a game, but they have that one.

(01:00:12):
Kayak got the other red card and he's normally on
the bench anyway, but when he when he came to
this match, Uh, Peter there. This this team is a
little bit different than the last two teams we faced
because they didn't get any Gold Cup callups and so

(01:00:35):
that they're they're gonna have their full squad. It's it's
a little different, right. So they're gonna have Luciano Alcosta there,
They're gonna have Peter, Peter Mussa who scored a goal yesterday.
Shack Moore he scored a goal yesterday. The Yeah, these
these are their starters. It's gonna be a pretty full

(01:00:57):
squad squad for them. And but just like last time,
we probably have some minutes from Tricky Losano. We're seeing
the adaptations from uh Sandy UFC and how you know
they're getting good minutes from players that like, well, Alvarado's out,

(01:01:21):
uh volat cars in valid cards in the in the midfield,
they're gonna need another midfielder there for Saturday. And yeah,
it's you know, you're you're just hoping that you know,
you're gunning for another win. This is a this is
another team that it's just outside the bubble there and

(01:01:43):
and if you're looking at the standings for the wild
card spot, you you really want to beat these these
teams and you know, keep pushing them down that way
you can get those points. And hopefully with the squad
that we have, I know we've yet to hear what's
gonna happen with Alejandro Alvarado, but I you know, I

(01:02:07):
still think this should be a win against e FC
Dallas and we should be able to take these three points.

Speaker 6 (01:02:16):
Yeah, I mean, look, the good thing about this is
that Mikeybodas knows e FC Dallas. He came from FC
Dallas and his uh you know, and his up and
coming young coaching career through that academy, through that development.
And the thing about having an academy of development is
that you have a style of philosophy. So you would
know and hope that Mikeybodus knows a secret sauce too

(01:02:37):
there or at least a little bit at least what
it used to taste like, right, So he has that
idea of what he's going into. They're not doing that
well this season. They have players missing. It's the Santueos.
He's coming off of a great game. It's a perfect
game to go down shift and say, you know what,

(01:02:57):
let's just down shifted a little bit. Let's just go
ahead and get some minutes for some players. That's still
Winle's still go for the win, but let's go ahead
and maybe cannot Let's let's play this game a little
out a little bit. And so that can give a
chance for any team to say, all right, well we're
gonna go ahead and try a little bit better.

Speaker 3 (01:03:15):
There's definitely a target on the back of San Diego FC.

Speaker 6 (01:03:17):
Now, does that mean that FC Dallas is gonna out
of nowhere, resurrects, you know, the legends of old and
just have the best game of their seaton against SANDYEFC.

Speaker 3 (01:03:27):
I don't think so.

Speaker 6 (01:03:28):
And I think San Diego is going to just continue
cruising on on this magical mystery tour that they've been
on and bringing back to SAT snaptrag it in a
positive way.

Speaker 3 (01:03:36):
But I mean, it'll be interesting to see how Mikey about.

Speaker 6 (01:03:40):
Us and company handle this, because yeah, there's not a
lot of depth there just isn't.

Speaker 5 (01:03:47):
I can't wait.

Speaker 1 (01:03:48):
To me, this is as simple and I'm going to
tie the bow and go full circle to wrap up
the hour here, Can you guys stop Milan ALASKI?

Speaker 5 (01:03:57):
Can you? Nobody else? Can? He scores two goals a
half because you can't stop him. Now if we add
Lo Lozano in the mix, and I don't know, would
you think that it's a play the first half Choky
or is it a sixtieth minute sub Chooky on Saturday?

Speaker 3 (01:04:17):
Let him rest if it deployed Chuky if needed.

Speaker 6 (01:04:20):
And I think that's what happened in Seattle, and Mikey
Vadas was pretty sure that he was one Chuky Losano
away from that victory, and you just ended up maybe
costing Chuki another injury. Again, you can't necessarily look at
what happened that the week before just say that compiled.

Speaker 3 (01:04:36):
But like I would have liked to.

Speaker 6 (01:04:38):
Have Chucky rest up in Seattle between and that midweek
last last time he was out, So if you need him,
sure deploy him in the last fifteen. Get a light,
little sprint, not necessary for a victory or to come
back and tie a game. I would rather not see
Chuki Dosano play that much, uh this weekend. Just just that,

(01:05:00):
like s CFC should be able to take care of
business without him.

Speaker 2 (01:05:04):
Yeah, just give him the last thirty if if anything,
but I do believe with what we have in you know,
just with Dryer and Laski up front, you just have
you know, just have them deploy and you know, set
up the offense, and I think that that will be enough.

(01:05:27):
That's gonna be I feel like that's even too much
for for Dallas to handle at this point in their season,
especially since they're they're going to be down one of
the one of their starters in the in the back line,
so they're gonna have to, you know, put somebody else
in that hasn't you know, started for that team. And yeah,

(01:05:47):
it would be a good time to you know, give
some time, give Cookie a little bit more time, you know,
to be be healthier during the season. So yeah, just
just for me, give him just give him the last thirty.

Speaker 6 (01:06:03):
I'll put them this way, Craig, SANDYFC should be able
to win and take care of business with a front
three of Eloski, Dryer and Nelston.

Speaker 5 (01:06:16):
I know all the assignments.

Speaker 3 (01:06:18):
No, well, it's fine because they'll take care of it.

Speaker 2 (01:06:21):
Just stand there, just stand there, Just just just stand
near the goal, Craig.

Speaker 1 (01:06:27):
I saw how it worked when Alvarado just laid there.
I mean, that's about what I'd be doing. So I
don't know, I don't know. I feel like that's, uh,
maybe that's a step too far. But I'll take the
Aloski and Dryer part and I'll accept the rest.

Speaker 5 (01:06:41):
All right, guys, when we get back together next week,
we'll be bouncing off of this result as well as
thinking about San Diego FC coming back home. This is
the Texas two step part of the schedule. They got
Houston Dynamo on the fifth of July. STFC is going
to put on some like disgusting jingleistic red white and

(01:07:06):
blue thing. Are they.

Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
Screaming Eagles star, stars and stripes night right?

Speaker 5 (01:07:16):
That's what I'm wondering. It's it's being advertised as stars
and stripes, like they're not gonna.

Speaker 1 (01:07:20):
Wear No, they're not going to do that, right, they're
not going to actually.

Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
Do Adida doesn't have that in their budget.

Speaker 1 (01:07:27):
No, thank god?

Speaker 3 (01:07:28):
Please the American flag, Thank goodness.

Speaker 2 (01:07:32):
They can't but just wrap themselves. Yeah, it'd be the
cress with the you know, the stars and strips.

Speaker 5 (01:07:39):
You know, you would crest with a bald eagle would
be like biting at the.

Speaker 3 (01:07:42):
Credit refuses to wear put something.

Speaker 1 (01:07:46):
That's what I'm saying, Like, could you imagine the Danes
are just confused like that?

Speaker 5 (01:07:51):
There would be be an international incident. We don't need that.

Speaker 1 (01:07:56):
Let's just keep going with our flow. Keep that flow going,
all right, guys, great episode, a.
