Soluções baseadas na natureza, planejamento integrado e financiamento adequado são apontados como caminhos para cidades mais resilientes e sustentáveis. “Eu diria que é fundamental buscar respostas, trazer respostas. As respostas estão nas soluções baseadas na natureza, na articulação do plano diretor com mudanças climáticas, mudando efetivamente a forma de urbanizar a cidade. E nós estamos vendo isso de uma forma bastante visível e divulgada até pelas mídias, por exemplo, das soluções que têm sido dadas em diversos países”, alerta Pedro Jacobi, professor do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciência Ambiental da Universidade de São Paulo (USP) e coordenador do Grupo de Estudos de Meio Ambiente e Sociedade do Instituto de Estudos Avançados da USP.
