Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yo yo, what is going on? My fellow wrestling fans.
Welcome to a brand new week, and welcome to a
special Summer Slam Week edition of what we like to
call the Clash of Champions, where we dive head first
into all the storylines, controversies, personalities, and everything in between
that's center around this world we know we love as
professional wrestling for better or worse. I'm your host, Favegan.
(00:24):
You believe in Conscious Kurt aka kerk GPT and the
Flesh as always, and my co host needs no introduction,
but the hell with it. He's about to give y'all
one anyway.
Speaker 2 (00:34):
That's right, ladies and gentlemen, this is Jonathan Randall, wee
adventure himself, and welcome to our podcast, our soap opera
that we love to call professional wrestling. Kurt, We're almost
here on SummerSlam. You're gonna be there this weekend and
I'm pretty jealous about it though. But hey, today we
got a third partner. It's been a lot of time
since we had a third wing man in our show.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
Man introduce yourself.
Speaker 4 (00:57):
Hey, thanks a lot. I'm Chris Adams. You call me
the Super Suplexer. I've got to know Kurt, We've done
some work over at PW Torch and I'm really excited
to be a guest on y'all show. I love it.
Kurt sends me the shows and I love the chemistry
y'all have. So I'm just really delighted to be a guest,
(01:18):
and I'll be that third party man, but it's still
y'all show, so I'm just along for the riote. Thanks,
hey man.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
We appreciate it and we love having a third person here.
Has been a long time and I'm glad that you're
here with us. Today is our prediction show for SummerSlam.
This Saturday and Sunday is the first time Summer Slam
history that we have two nights. This is amazing, and Kurt,
you're going to be there live in person. I know
you're gonna enjoy that. But this Saturday and Sunday on Peacock.
(01:48):
But if you're international, be on Netflix and I can't wait.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Yeah, it'll be on Peacock. Also be on Netflix internationally.
And also they're going to be showing it in movie
theaters across the country at a lot of regal stammers.
I saw that the other day. Also in New York
they have the pld's playing at a bunch of bars.
I got a bunch of like notifications about bars that
are gonna be playing Summer Slam, But I will be
there in person Saturday and Sunday be my first Summer
(02:13):
Slam i've attended since nineteen ninety seven, which was in
that same area of the Meadowlands. My first stadium WWE
show since WrestleMania thirty three, and yeah, I can't wait.
I'm already seeing what they're trying to do for like
the setup Ford. I heard they're gonna make like a
big ass stage, which they have off the SummerSlam in years,
So I'm looking forward to seeing that in person. I
just hope and pray fingers crossed that it is not
(02:35):
so damn hot by the time we get there like
the last.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
Couple of days, Wait a minute occurred. Let's hope that
you don't have no subway.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
Issues, just like the last time you're at MetLife Stadium.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Well, no, that I wasn't at WrestleMania thirty five. That was,
I mean other people is. Hopefully it's a better show
than the last show I went to a Medlife Stadium
because WrestleMania twenty nine other than the Undertaker and see
punk match was hot garbage.
Speaker 2 (03:02):
Yeah, Chris, have you ever been to a Summer Slam event?
Speaker 4 (03:06):
Yeah? I actually went to Summer Slam last year in Cleveland, Oh,
which was awesome. Yeah, yeah, it was. It was a
surprise that I was able to go. My buddy got
us some pretty good seats. It was wild, it was
a fun it was a fun party atmosphere. I hoped
that we were leaving Jelly Roll in Cleveland. Unfortunately, we'll
see him in New Jersey. But yeah, it was cool
(03:29):
last year. I was trying to go this year. We've
got family up there, but we just couldn't make it work.
So I'm jealous of you, Kurt. It's gonna be a blast.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, I'm not sure what to expect, but I'm just
happy that I'm actually going to like a major show
for the first time, and so lo on and it's
also going to be my home area of the New
New York, New Jersey area, and yeah, it's crazy. The
first time I went to Summer Slam, yeah, it was
the ninety seven when when Owen Hard did the Tombstone
to Austin and the whole neck issue started, and then
that great finish to the main event when Sean was
(03:57):
the referee for the Breton Undertaker match and at eventally
hit Undertaker with the chair and had the counter the
pin for bread. Yeah, I'll never forget that night as
long as I live, and I'm just hoping that tonight.
I have just as many good memories for this SummerSlam
coming up this weekend, if not better ones than the
one I had back in ninety seven.
Speaker 2 (04:15):
It's interesting though, because I had, you know, I go
back when I went to my first one back in
twenty twenty one here in Vegas, and the atmosphere was
good overall.
Speaker 3 (04:25):
I thought the event was pretty, you know, decent.
Speaker 2 (04:28):
You know, business was booming during that time during that year,
you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
It was a great main event.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
I love Roman Reigns versus John Z and then brock
wesn't showing up, But just to be part of that
event in general, that was a you know, that was
a treat for me.
Speaker 4 (04:42):
So so you get a plan on going to WrestleMania
next year.
Speaker 1 (04:48):
We'll see.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
I had talked about this.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
I had talked about this episodes ago about how I
was bothered by them coming here again because business it
was a bad decision for them to say you're gonna
have New Orleans and then you switch up on them
and you know, oh, we're gonna bring about the Vegas
because of money purposes, and you're kind of like, well,
wait a minute, now, the last two wrestle Manias in
New Orleans business wise and economically, they did really well.
Speaker 3 (05:17):
So that was a TKL decision. I did not like that.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Yeah, it's it's a weird one. It really is. The
rushed graphics that came out, you know, I don't know,
it didn't feel right.
Speaker 2 (05:27):
Oh god, Oh I hope they change it.
Speaker 3 (05:31):
It is right.
Speaker 4 (05:33):
Yeah, it's like AI like some of like the built like, Yeah,
it just doesn't look good.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
Yeah, just like those AI pictures I see of Hogan
going to heaven and reuises that God is black.
Speaker 4 (05:43):
All right, awesome.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Yeah. Getting into SummerSlam, the man who Maine invented three
of the first four Summer Slams was Paul Cogan. And
obviously since last Thursday, we did speak to you guys
at right as it was broke, But ever since then
we've had a few days to marinate on it and
kind of think about it a little more and We've
seen all the backlash, all the back and forth that's
coming between that. But yeah, let's dive into that now.
(06:08):
Obviously everybody knows by now. Last Thursday, Hole Cogan passed
away at seventy one years old of cardiac arrest. And yeah,
I've been really wrapping my head around this. I've had
a lot of mixed feelings because even as recently as
six weeks ago, we did a show about the King
of the Ring ninety three and I shitted it all
over whole Cogan and the way he came off and
just the way he's come off for years. I've been
(06:28):
very critical of hul Cogan pretty much for the last
decade or so. But I will be honest, like, ever
since I heard that news that he died, it just
hit me differently in the sense that it brought back
a lot of those memories I had of like when
I first became a fan, and like when I first
like you know, discovered Hogan, and like the connection I
felt like I had with him at that time. So yeah,
a lot of those feelings are coming back. And I
(06:49):
don't ignore those feelings, and I do hold those feelings
closely to me, but at the same time, I can't
turn a blind eye to the you know, despicable bullshit
he did when he was alive. At the end of
the day, both the good things he did were a
part of his legacy and also the bad things are
a part of his legacy too, and you can't ignore
one or the other.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Yeah, you know, it goes back to what I said
last week.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
You cannot ignore what he did.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
Especially over the the last ten years, of what he
said and is really rubbed off. A lot of fans
are especially you know, like African American, you know, wrestling
fans like myself. But at the same time, you cannot
ignore what he did for the business. You know, the
wrestling business will not be here if it wasn't for
Hulk Hogan. He was that first person of superstardom that
(07:39):
started the trend of megastars that we have now. So
you can't ignore that. You cannot deny that he was
the starting point of of what we got going on now.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
I had sort of a strange, complicated reaction to I mean,
the work that I do outside of wrestling, podcasting and
conversation is working a lot with people who are in grief, right,
so I recognize that his family's grieving, people who loved
him are grieving, and you don't want to add on
to and malign somebody who's dead when they can't defend themselves.
(08:17):
But I think what we saw with the triple tin
bell salute that they gave on every show felt a
little excessive to me, especially given some of what he
had done and said. And so there's got to be
a balance of how can we honor Johnny, like you said,
(08:39):
honor how we got here and balance it. I don't know,
it's just tough. It's complicated. People are complicated and it's
hard sometimes to figure it out.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
Yeah, that's the best way to describe his whole death
and like how people feel about it, very very complicated.
Even Cody said that in his promo on SmackDown on Friday.
And look, I wasn't expecting WW to just ignore the
fact that Hogan died and not do anything or say anything,
because at the end of the day, WW isn't where
it is today without Hule Cogan. Whether you like hul Cogan,
(09:11):
hate whole Hogan, or in between. He was the original
WWE superstar. That term came to be because of him.
At one point at his peak, Like in the eighties,
he was literally one of the most famous people in
the world. You put him in there with Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince,
Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, all those damn people. You could
(09:32):
throw a whole Cogan in that mix too. And Yeah,
during that boom period that ww first had in that
eighties period, he was the face of that and he was,
you know what, brought a lot of people into wrestling
and made them fans, myself included. And one thing that
spectacular about him that's like will probably never be done
again is the fact that Hogan was the driving force
(09:55):
behind two different boom periods of wrestling and two different
decades and two different companies as two completely different characters.
That is unheard of. Nobody ever did that before him,
and I don't think anybody will ever do that after him.
And look, like I said before, I've been very critical
about Hogan over the years. I don't take back a
(10:18):
lot of the things I said about him. I stand
by that, especially that this I did to him last year.
I don't take any of that back. But at the
same time, I'll never celebrate and be happy that somebody
died for their family's sake, for their friend's sake. Yeah,
just celebrate the fact that somebody died and say good,
I hope they're rotten. Hell, oh good, I'm happy they're dead,
or I'm happy they're sick. That speaks very poorly of
your character. And with me, I like to look at
(10:41):
myself as a decent human being first, and that part
of me takes stage front and center first, So that
part of me will never celebrate the fact that Hogan died.
But I will be honest. It's hard for me to
say the words rest in peace to him, as you
probably noticed on the show last week. John, For whatever reason,
I just could not say that, and I still can't
bring myself to say that. But I'll be honest. On
(11:01):
that tribute they played for him on Raw Monday, the
tribute they played for him on Raw, I got a
little choked up because it just brought back so many
memories and I just think of the fact that he's
actually gone and that he's actually dead, and also a
lot of people that were showing those clips are also
dead too. Yeah, just a weird feeling. It's a very
weird feeling knowing that this person that you once idolized
and looked up to, even though you kind of like
(11:23):
stopped looking up to him and stopp being much of
a fan of him in later years. It's just weird
to know that he's actually dead and he's actually gone. Yeah, So,
like that's also been a lot I've been marinating onto.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
You know what is really interesting.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
You guys use the word complicated, and we look at
the past wrestlers who have passed away. This one's really
different because it's complicated because of what he did over
the past ten years. Look, I don't agree with a
lot of people saying how like, you know, the wish
death on somebody, and I get it, like what he
did was wrong, but you can you have no right
(11:59):
to I don't condone what everybody else is saying about him,
you know, Oh I'm glad he's gone and he's dead
and all that stuff, because at the end of the day,
who are you to say about somebody else? I mean,
you got I mean, you probably did something wrong in
your life. At the end of the day, we all
have to answer for what we did. You know, And
(12:20):
again it speaks it speaks bad character on you when
you want to speak poorly on somebody like that. Kevin Nash,
of all people is the one. I don't know if
you read his comments over the past couple of days,
but he really yeah, he really went out and defended
him because I mean that end of the day, at
everything they've been through with each other, they're close friends,
(12:42):
you know what I mean, during their WCW days, So
of course he's going to go out the bat for him,
especially after losing Sky Hall, you know what I mean now,
Hulk Hogan, two of their closest buddies that he had
during that time and they're gone, and to see everybody
else speak badly about him, Yeah, this is going to
bother him.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
So it is a mix. It is a mixed feelings.
It is weird. It's weird.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
This is the one like I kind of compare this
to Chris bin Waugh. At first when he passed away,
we didn't know what was going on, and then after
when the news came out, then yeah, that's when it
got complicated and it's a bit fifty to fifty about how, okay,
how should we feel about this person. Yeah, he was
a great wrestler for the business, but we can't forget
(13:27):
about what he did, what led to his passing, you
know what I mean. So there's a little slimp similarities
between those two complicated.
Speaker 4 (13:40):
Yeah for me, Yeah, I'm sitting here trying trying to
to be to have some humility and a conversation about
race in which people were like me, often don't practice that.
So so I can appreciate John hearing what you're saying.
You have this call to to civility yourself, to say, hey,
(14:02):
there's no reason to celebrate this death. To celebrate someone's pain,
recognize what they did, both good and bad, and let's
move on. Right. Uh, that's a good way to be human, right, Like, man,
if people listen to y'all's podcast, they just figure out
better life tips. So I mean you're different good stuff
like you are like that, that would make that That
(14:25):
would be awesome if that's how people were.
Speaker 1 (14:27):
Yeah, because you don't have to be sad that Hogan died.
You don't have to say rest in peace to women
or any of that, or even acknowledge it at all,
because look, I get it. I even saw a post
on Friday that made perfect sense. It said that if
you're sad that Hogan died, it's okay because he did
a lot of good in his life, made it warranted
to feel that way. But also if you're not sad
that Hogan died and you soured on him over the years,
(14:50):
it's also okay because he did a lot of bad
throughout his life to justify those feelings. So that's the
point I got to myself, and I think WW did
as good a job as they could, you know, honor
you know his legacy of like, you know what he
did to build that company, to make wrestling mainstream, because look,
they can't not acknowledge you, Like if anybody was expecting
WW to just ignore it or say, fuck hole, Cogan,
(15:13):
he's dead. You got to get your head out of
your ass. Of course they're gonna mention it. Yeah, of
course they were. Yeah, and yeah, that's tribute. On Friday
on SmackDown was nice, although they did get some close
up shots of like Jacob Fatshu and Solo so Cola
like not looking like they wanted to be there. And
then on Raw Monday, they were making a big deal
about like Rio Ripley not being out there and Becky
(15:35):
Lynch not being out there, and yeah, Becky Lynch even
called Hogan a piece of shit a few weeks ago
because of like you know, people comparing herd of him
and whatnot, and even on Raw Monday that looks m
Punk had when he was like standing like you said
it like in the center of all of it, Like
it said a lot because we've known for years that
see him, Punk wasn't a fan of Hogan. Even set
himself that he was never a fan of Hogan, like
(15:57):
just as a performer, and he was even less of
a fan of Hogan once he finally met him in person.
So yeah, I feel like I feel like with the
like the newer generation, like the more modern generation of wrestlers,
and not really big on him, probably for the racist
ramping one thing among them, you know, other issues. And yo,
that's fine. Like I said, he did a lot throughout
his life that did what people the wrong way, did
hurt a lot of people, and yeah, they have the
(16:19):
right to feel a certain way about them. But yeah,
the same Yeah, go ahead, go ahead.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
I'm sorry, man, But you know, I think like the
biggest take from not just us but everybody else.
Speaker 3 (16:32):
At the end of the day, you have to forgive.
Speaker 1 (16:37):
But not forget.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
Yeah I don't forget, but I mean you have to
forgive because you're not. You're never gonna be at peace
with yourself if you don't.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
And you know what's funny, John and John, you know
what's funny? Like like I've noticed like a lot of
like the black fans specifically, like you know, crapping on Hogan,
shitting on and whatnot. But I hate to say it,
a lot of those same people would be the same
people who would be defending R Kelly, who would be
defending Diddy and saying stuff like, oh, Cassie knew what
she was doing, Cassie's fall, Cassie should have Cassie should
(17:05):
have been smarter, or in the R Kelly case, they're
saying ship like all the parents should have been there
where we're the parents in this whole scenario. You can't
just cancel the dude. You can't just cancel the dude.
And it's and you know R Kelly and Diddy, they
both is up to be punished. I don't get them
a pass either, but it's wrong to excuse like those
dudes for what they did. And still you don't choose
to celebrate their art, but you get mad at somebody
(17:26):
else for choosing to celebrate whul Cogan's art. You know, yeah,
I noticed that.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
I kind of noticed that too, just in general. Man,
like we'll and I say this respectfully, we'll like kind
of like there's like a we'll pick and choose our
battles in a sense, you know what I mean, Like
we don't want people attacking us though, but we'll somewhat
pick and choose to defend certain things that are not
(17:57):
still not right, you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (17:58):
Ay?
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Right, So yeah, that's a that's a good comparison right there,
that whole Diddy thing. And I even think about oj
I think like some people were defending the OJJ. I
was watching some of the documentary on that was after
the first episode from Netflix.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
I was like, yeah, he was guilty already.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
Yeah first you know, we took me what thirty minutes.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
Yeah, he's guilty.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
I don't know how to hell they didn't catch that show. Yeah,
at the end of the day, poor despicable behavior is
poor despicable behavior, no matter who does it, no matter
what race they are, what gender they are, sexual preference,
whatever it is. Shitty asked behavior deserve to be called out, period.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
M yep, and actions, I'll say, John, watching those Netflix
things when you see, like when you see white people
jump to defend something, usually that the opposite the truth.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
Because of mine, because of my girlfriend, I've been watching
way more like murder documentaries and all this crap, and
I'm just like, JESU, what, like was it John Wayne
Gacy I was watching, I was like, what the hell?
Speaker 3 (19:16):
I was like, whoa.
Speaker 4 (19:19):
I know.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
It's just crazy though, that the last memory any of
us are going to have a whole Colgan on ww
TV was that night at the Ropping Me on Netflix
when he got booed out.
Speaker 3 (19:29):
Of the Yeah.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
You know, what's even like crazier because it was not
this past Monday, but the Monday before. Because you know
they always show you know, Hulk Hogan's Great American Beer ads.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
Right, they played that actually during Ron Monday this past Monday.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Yeah, So I was in the kitchen cooking and then
I remember this is before Hogan passed away, right, and
I was looking at the commercial and I just just
shook my head. I was like, I'm not gonna drink
your beer. And then a couple of days later he passes, like,
oh my god, Yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 3 (20:07):
Oh geez, dude.
Speaker 4 (20:14):
I kind of wondered what would happen with that partnership
with WWE and that beer, But I think it turns
out there they have a small ownership stake in it
that I.
Speaker 1 (20:24):
Don't know about. I don't know about that. I just
think it's like more of an endorsement deal. They were
like doing business with Hogan because you know, he's still
a big name, and yeah, it's like probably they both
win the scratch ea the other's backs. But then when
they brought him out for that Netflix premiere and he
got booed away he did, they kind of, like I guess,
realized that maybe it's best not to like, you know,
parade him out to the public that way. So yeah,
(20:45):
that's pretty much sums up why that will be the
last time we ever saw him on WWTV. And it
had to be that way. And I hate to say it.
I hate to say it, but he did that to
himself a lot of the ways people soured at him
and like, you know, stop being fans of him. That's
all on him. And he had the chance to apologize,
he had the chance to like own up to a
lot of the toxic bullshit that he did. But we
(21:07):
all know the story of that you know, apology he
gave to the locker room back in twenty eighteen, which
is basically more of him apologizing for the fact that
he got caught than actually apologizing for what he did.
And yeah, like just that bullshit is like, Yo, how
can you forgive somebody and how can you forget about
those kind of things when that's his way of apologizing
for it. Like that just showed you the kind of
person that he was. And look, it's still sad that
(21:29):
he died. I'm still like kind of like, you know,
wrestling with my own feelings about it. But like I said,
I still can't turn a blind eye to those you know,
messed up things he did while he was alive, because,
like we said, those things are also a part of
his legacy.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
And you know, I don't like how people are bashing
some some people for saying, oh, if you're saying rest
in peace a Hogan.
Speaker 3 (21:54):
And you know, you don't know, blah blah blah, Like dude,
what Yeah.
Speaker 1 (21:58):
The comparions, Yeah, comparing people like black people saying rest
in peace to Hoole Cogan to Samuel Jackson's character in Jangle.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
I was like, bro't, yeah, I've been seeing that, dude,
I've been rubbing me off the wrong way. Like, dude,
don't be judging other people because they're showing, you know,
a little bit of sympathy for him, because you're heard
because of what he you know, the stuff that he's
been saying, Like, that's not your place or your business, because,
like I alluded to earlier, you probably did something wrong
(22:29):
in your own life and you can't don't or.
Speaker 1 (22:32):
You probably support somebody who did something every bit as
bad as Hogan did, if not worse, but you still
give them a.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
Pass, right.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
So that that's been I've been reading. I read a
lot of stuff carefully, and.
Speaker 1 (22:45):
Yeah, Chelsea Green, Chelsea Green even got heavily criticized for
like what you said about Hogan a few days ago.
She just basically like said that, like, Yo, he made
wrestling mainstream, You opened the door for a lot of us,
and she like send condolences to his family, and like
everybody on SOI media came for her. She was even
getting death threats. It got so bad to the point
where she had to shut down over social media.
Speaker 3 (23:06):
Yo.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
That's some clown ass shit, Yo, that's some real clown
ass way of you know, going about come and get somebody.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
I had to explain to a friend of mine, like,
you know, he asked me, He's like, why are you
you know, like you know, sympathizing or whatever, you know,
why are you you know? And I had to explain
to him, you know, and he knows I'm a wrestling
and I had to explain again like I do a podcast.
I've been watching wrestling my whole entire life. I'm not
(23:34):
condoning what the stuff that he did. I'm just paying
the respects of what he did for the business.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
Yeah, nothing more or nothing less. I'm not going to forget.
I'm not going to turn a blind eye to anything.
I'm not going to turn a blind eye to the
mistakes that he made. But I will not I refuse
to turn a blind eye to the things that he
did for his business.
Speaker 3 (23:59):
I refuse. I will not forget that, yeah at all.
Speaker 1 (24:06):
Yeah, in the Great Angles, he was a part of
Classic matches, he was a part of Yeah, you can't
just forget about all that. Yeah, those things are every
bit as part of his legacy. And at the end
of the day, you can appreciate the heart that whole
Cogan brought to the world, the moments, he was a
part of the memorable matches. He was a part of
the kind of performer he was. You can acknowledge that
and celebrate that, but you don't have to celebrate the
(24:28):
kind of person he was.
Speaker 4 (24:31):
Yeah, it's not either or right. Like, it's not one
or the other. It's more complex than that. And I
think people, I think want to jump on the bandwagon
to say this man was so bad partly because it
gives them a platform to feel good about themselves, right
that they can say the right thing and the right moment,
(24:52):
when really probably they don't care that much about doing
anti racist work in their community. They just want to
talk shit. Who cod you.
Speaker 1 (25:00):
Know, keyboard warriors, keyboard lawyers.
Speaker 4 (25:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
Yeah, But I did notice what his daughter Brooks said yesterday.
She was saying how like she was kind of like
urging him for years to like, you know, slow down
and you know rest and relax, but like he just
couldn't stop. He had to still keep going, he had
to still keep like keep himself busy. And she just
said that what the media has been saying about their
falling out isn't really true, Like they didn't really have
(25:30):
this big falling out. They just kind of stopped speaking.
They had like some certain disagreements and that kind of
led to them not you know, speaking as much after that.
And I don't think he ever met his grandkids, which
is also really sad. Oh yeah, yeah, she Hogan never
met them and never will.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
Did I I remember reading or hearing about Brooke wanted
to be off of Hogan's will.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
Yeah she wanted the will, Yeah she did.
Speaker 3 (26:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:02):
Yeah, we talked about it a few months months ago
about how she like diesn't talked to Hogan or her
mom Linda, how she kind of like distanced herself from
the family and she didn't even care if, like you know,
she would financially be on her own. She like just
had to get away from them because of how toxic
they were. So yeah, it makes sense.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
Hmm.
Speaker 4 (26:22):
Apparently she's been receiving a lot of criticism for not
being at raw or smack.
Speaker 1 (26:27):
Yeah, she opened up about that. She just said that
w W never invite.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
Yeah. I was surprised by that.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
That's not her fault.
Speaker 2 (26:35):
Why should she be criticized because she wasn't there, That's
not her fault. I mean, Blinda wasn't there. The sun
wasn't there either, sun Well Nick was.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
There on Monday. Nick and every bishop with their Monday.
Speaker 4 (26:47):
Night Oh yeah, oh right, right right, Oh yeah, she
didn't get the invite, which is strange. Maybe because they
perceived this distance stuff.
Speaker 1 (26:56):
Yeah it's possible. I feel I feel bad for Jimmy Art.
I mean, say what you want about the horror and whatnot,
but you got a feel for like Jimmy Harden and
people like that who also Brutus Beefcake came and Brutus
Beefcake go way back to Yeah. I mean, like I said,
I wasn't the biggest fan of the dude over the
last ten years, but you know, I hate to see
anybody die, and I hate to see like other people
in breathing and mourning. Yeah, I'm not going to celebrate
(27:18):
that shit.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
I saw the close up on Jimmy Hart's face. I
just like, of all of all the people who were
on the stage, like he was the one who felt
it the most.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
Like, oh man, wow.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
Yeah, it's a weird thing, man. Like I said, it's unfortunate,
but like this is like one of those main wrestling deaths.
Next to Crispin, why that just has an asterisk next
to it where like, as part of their art you celebrate,
there's things about them that you celebrate, but just the
kind of person they were and a lot of the
things they did it makes you hard to like really
celebrate them the way you would like to.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Mm hmmm, yeah, yep.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
The only difference is that ben Walls Dark Side came
out after his death, and you know Hogan's was before,
so exactly.
Speaker 3 (28:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (28:07):
Yeah, but it's just like weird, Like when you go
back and watch those like matches from the Hogan era,
like he was the one dude who pretty much outlived
all those guys like out of Macho Man Alter, the
Warrior Piper. He was like one of the few from
that era that was actually still alive and now he's
gone to.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
Yeah, it's weird.
Speaker 4 (28:28):
I wonder what he did differently that that allowed him
to stay to live to what seventy one? Is that
what he was?
Speaker 1 (28:35):
It's a good question. I know he still trained. I mean,
he still looked pretty good for an older guy. Yeah,
but damn, just like a lot of the people from
his era, he also went out to a heart attack. Yeah,
steroid related, I'm sure possible, I true, but I but
I definitely had to get a picture outside of Madison
Square Garden of like the graphic they put up on him.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
Yeah, but you know it is crazy though. What's crazy
with all the personal stuff that they got, these rustlers
got going on, and you know they're longer gone, sadly
low one person, surprisingly he's still here, Rick Flair yea.
And even he's saying that he who was cancer free
by the way, Yeah, and.
Speaker 1 (29:15):
Even he's saying that he might be next because of
what happened to Hogan and like he just realized that, like,
you know, Hogan was probably in pain for so many
years with all the different back surgeries, the knee problems,
and then getting a neck operation on top of that.
And he says like even himself, like despite all the
years he wrestled, doesn't feel any pain or aches or anything.
But he does have the feeling that he might be next.
Speaker 4 (29:36):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
Maybe a sign to slow down this time because of Flair.
I mean, the Flair has been kind of acting a
little crazy past like what few years now, So yeah,
like hopefully this will be the sign, like Okay, I'm
gonna lay low for good now.
Speaker 4 (29:53):
He's got a big drinking problem that's putting it mildy right.
I live in North Carolina, and I can hear when
he gets drunk all the way in Charlotte, all the
way in the West. Oh my god, yo, And.
Speaker 1 (30:14):
Sadly. Rick Flaiir is very similar to Hogan in the
sense where there are two of the most legendary figures
in the history of wrestling, but in their later years
they did a whole bunch of dumb shit to really
embarrass themselves and really in many ways tarnish their legacy
and tarnished what people think of them. Man, all right,
(30:34):
But like we said before, Hulk Hogan's legacy is a
very complicated one. If you're sad that he died, I
get it. I understand I'm kind of going through some
of those feelings too. But if you're also not sad
that he died, I get it too, and you still, like,
you know, don't like him for a lot of the
things he said and did, I get that also. But
even if you do feel that way, be respectful about it.
(30:55):
To be happy that he died, and to be celebrating
that he died, that is some clown ass shit. And
I mean that when I say that. So, how have
you choose to look at it this whole situation. That's
your prerogative, that's your perspective. But all I ask is
just be respectful. It's a good ask, yeah, because you
don't want to be like the people you hate and despise.
(31:16):
You want to be better than them. And by celebrating
the fact that somebody died, even if they were a
bad person, you show that you're not any better than
that person. You're celebrating the death of.
Speaker 4 (31:29):
Pretty good conscious Kurt.
Speaker 1 (31:31):
All right, but let's get into some more positive news
as we have Summer Slam taking place this Saturday and
this Sunday for MetLife Stadium in East Weather for New Jersey.
I cannot wait my first Summer stime I will be
attending in twenty eight years. And while this card and
this whole build has been very rushed and does not
feel special the way that past Summer stems are felt,
(31:51):
this card looks damned sexy regardless. So we're gonna break
down our predictions for these matches. So let's get into
Night one.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
Hell yeah, you know what for one?
Speaker 2 (32:04):
After looking at this card, night one looks better and
I think Night one will be the better night.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
I disagree I disagree.
Speaker 4 (32:12):
Night what.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
Night two? Night two we get two women's title matches
and one TLC match.
Speaker 4 (32:23):
Okay, y'all want me to be the special referee between y'all? Right?
Speaker 1 (32:26):
Now sounds good to me.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
You'll be up at because I'm looking at better events.
Speaker 1 (32:31):
You'll be a better referee than Sean Michael was in
ninety seven.
Speaker 3 (32:36):
Try it wasn't his fault.
Speaker 1 (32:39):
Bullshit, he was on drugs.
Speaker 2 (32:42):
Please, No, you had a freaking maniac antagonizing him.
Speaker 1 (32:46):
And he was on pills and his vision wasn't straight.
Speaker 4 (32:52):
You're seeing things, damon.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
Okay, I'm talking ship, But let's get to Night one.
Night one does look good, but the thing about Night one,
Night one is very tag.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
Team happy, I know.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
And then when you come the night too with the
main event, you're kind of like, well, I hope they
do better than their predecessor. You're hoping the sequel will
be better.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
I'm just hoping it's better than WrestleMania was.
Speaker 4 (33:15):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
Yeah, That's what I'm saying, Like, you hope that this
one is gonna be better than the first one, so
with no Travis Scott and then of course you know
the Rock is not gonna be there. But who cares though,
But in a different stipulation, Yeah, you better hope this
match will be better.
Speaker 3 (33:32):
But when I look at Saturday, when I'm looking at those.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
Two your main course, the tag match and then of
course the Championship Maine event, you're kind of like, oh,
those are your That's why I'm kind of like, oh,
I like Saturday a little bit better.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
But yeah, and Cardi B supposed to be the host,
although they've barely even mentioning her lately.
Speaker 3 (33:53):
Yeah, just the only time they mentioned it is in
the ads. That's it.
Speaker 1 (33:56):
Yeah, they play the themes, they play the music because
like girls. Yeah, one of her song is the theme song
to the show. I mean, I'm sure I'll still probably
see her there. I don't know what kind of reaction
she's gonna get, but who knows, maybe she'll get her rescued.
Speaker 4 (34:11):
You think she.
Speaker 2 (34:15):
I don't know, because the only celebrity who's been pretty
much been to talk and has been getting the attention
to Jelly Rol.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
Oh, yeah, I know Chris is really looking forward to
that match.
Speaker 4 (34:24):
Yeah, yeah, my favorite part. You know it didn't it
sort of made sense in Cleveland? I guess Cleveland's not
really a country music city, but it makes no sense
in New Jersey, in New York City. Why why in
the hell is maybe he's a hardcore.
Speaker 1 (34:42):
Maybe he's a hardcore hip hop head dude.
Speaker 4 (34:45):
Maybe he is secretly he's gonna bust out some stuff
that we don't know. I mean, look, maybe if he
brings like a mortal technique on stage.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
Like maybe maybe in their corner.
Speaker 4 (34:55):
Yeah, that'd be okay.
Speaker 2 (34:58):
Look, I got I got to say is Look, I'm
not a big country person either, but you have to
respect his his mic skills. Last Friday, My goodness.
Speaker 4 (35:09):
Whoa.
Speaker 2 (35:12):
You've been training and you've been taking Mike's skills too.
Speaker 1 (35:15):
I was like, WHOA.
Speaker 4 (35:18):
Credit for that? He really is pretty natural on the
microphone and how he dresses him down and stuff.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
Yeah, yeah, good promos. He lost to over one hundred pounds.
He's been taking it seriously, so I have a good
feeling about that. Batchefl With that being said, lets get
into our predictions. So we'll use this match as our
first one. We have Randy Orton and Jelly Roll taking
on Drew McIntire and the douchebag fuck.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Your mortal enemy, Society's mortal enemy.
Speaker 4 (35:47):
Hey for two different reasons.
Speaker 1 (35:52):
Yeah, but Logan Paul, despite what I think of him personally,
he still does put on a good performance. He's a
good heal and I'm gonna be aching and hoping that
he gets his ass beat and I could be there
to cheer it the whole time.
Speaker 3 (36:06):
You're gonna lose your voice, am.
Speaker 1 (36:07):
I probably will. I probably will, is what it is.
But those of that story coming out that Drew McIntire
stranded in England because of some passport issues and there's
a chance he might not be able to.
Speaker 3 (36:19):
Make read that. I read that.
Speaker 4 (36:22):
I was just Yeah, the miz was I think pitching
himself to be the fill in.
Speaker 1 (36:28):
Yeah, Like this is a this is an odd match
to begin with. John and I were even sing on
the show in the last few weeks that it's kind
of an odd match for Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre
to be in, like a celebrity attraction match.
Speaker 3 (36:42):
Yeah, Like.
Speaker 2 (36:47):
Orton goes from being in the you know, the King
of the Ring final to potentially like he's gonna turn
heel he's in this, And then you go back to
Drew McIntire, especially with all the stuff that that you know,
he had a fire year, last year and now this,
and that's kind of like, oh, that's weird.
Speaker 1 (37:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (37:06):
To me, it feels like a match only to get
Jelly Roll over.
Speaker 1 (37:11):
It sounds about right, and you.
Speaker 4 (37:13):
In using Orton to McIntyre and to an extent, Logan Paul,
And that's a weird take when you have such a
talented roster people who are being left off, even though
there's a two night event, right, it feels to me
like a waste of a spot. I know it'll bring
in eyeballs and money, but I don't agree with that
(37:33):
philosophy necessarily.
Speaker 1 (37:35):
Well, yeah, I get it, but I have good feelings
about the way this match will turn out. I don't
really have any reason to doubt it. I think Jelly
Roll has been taking it seriously enough where I think
he'll put in a good performance in the end. And
with that being said, considering considering that it's a designed
to get him over, I think that's what happens in
(37:55):
the end, and him and Randy Orton win the match
and he pins Logan Paul with a splash from.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
Okay, I mean yeah, as when you have a celebrity, right, yeah,
when you have a celebrity involved you want him. It's
it's the appropriate way for him to get the cover.
So yeah, I mean and also, yeah, like I've been
saying this before. WW has been doing this for years.
(38:23):
They've been doing this before we were born. How get
a celebrity in to attract new reviewers. That's pretty much
the whole. That's the that's the name of the game
pretty much. So yeah, like I have r rand Ne
Orton Jelly Rowlin in this match is a no brainer.
I mean, come on, Like, why would you put a
celebrity in and have them lose? Like it makes no sense?
Speaker 4 (38:45):
Yep, I'm with y'all.
Speaker 1 (38:46):
Hey, at least not Traviscott Wrestling.
Speaker 3 (38:49):
I had a bad falling out.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
I heard about that. I guess he was getting Yeah,
I don't know what happened. I don't know how that
all turned out, But I'm not really sad that he's gone.
But with that being has moved on to our next match.
So we picked Randy Hereton jellywil winning that one. So
let's get onto our next match for the women's Championship.
In a match that has zero heat whatsoever. I hate
to say, we have Tiffany Stratton defending her Championship against
(39:13):
Jade Cargill, the twenty twenty five Queen of the Ring winner.
Speaker 2 (39:18):
And it's because of that, because of the fact that
Jay Cargo is the Queen of the Ring. It's like,
how come there's really no like heat invested in this
build up. I don't really see any like flavoring it.
Speaker 3 (39:30):
What's going on?
Speaker 1 (39:31):
Done jack shit to make this match interesting?
Speaker 2 (39:34):
That's what I'm saying. There's no flavor in it works.
The ingredients in this feud, I see nothing.
Speaker 4 (39:40):
Yeah. Sure, they've done the typical bullshit of like have
her come out to the rescue every now and then
and you have him stare down and it's like that
that does nothing to make us excited for a few
that we know could actually have some real life heat
from about a year ago, right, you know between the
two them, so they could have done something with this fear. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (40:06):
Yeah, I hate to say, but this is probably the
worst match on Night one. But if I had to
pick a winner.
Speaker 3 (40:11):
Oh, think about it now. J Cargill is the Queen
of the Ring.
Speaker 1 (40:18):
I guess with that being said, yeah, I guess she wins. Yeah,
I think she won the title here.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
Yeah, I mean that's uh you go when you go
back to last year, I mean, come on, Nia Jacksonwan
King of the Ring Gunther won. Come on. So it'll
be weird that you advance and it's to push you,
that's the whole point of it. And you lose, it'll
be weird.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
I mean. But then again, it was a relief that
Mabel won the King of the Ring of ninety five
and then he didn't win this.
Speaker 2 (40:48):
Oh God, don't please don't compare her to Mabel, My god, don't. Geez,
it's bad enough. You give Mabel title shot. But yeah,
Billy going, I mean, Billy got. I don't know that
that that didn't work, but that was worse. I mean
that Mabel was just ten times worse. But geez, God
(41:08):
rest the soul. But I don't know if they really
like push this pute harder than yeah, I would have, like,
I don't know, I think it would be so word
of Tiffany won this match, it'll be weird kind of
like you just kind of like.
Speaker 3 (41:27):
Did all this for nothing? So kind of have Jake
Cargo winning.
Speaker 4 (41:32):
For all the same reasons. I would want to say
Jake Cargo is winning. But there's some part of me
that feels like it feels like the Tiffany is is
going over. And I don't know why. I could be
just totally totally beefing, but there's something about about the
way she has been. She's had controversy with Charlotte Flair,
(41:57):
she's had other issues, and she's will managed to keep
moving forward, right. There's never seems to be any kind
of repercussions, and so she obviously has she's got the rocket.
So is it gonna stay on? I don't know, So
I guess I guess I'm saying Tiffany Stratton, but I
won't like it if that happens. That's what I'll say.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
She's still hot, yeah, I mean, she's been doing pretty
decent with the titles. He had a great match with
christ Stratus that evolution, you.
Speaker 4 (42:29):
Know, surprisingly better than I would have expected.
Speaker 1 (42:34):
Honestly, that match was fine, but I thought it would
be would have been a little better, but they didn't
have a lot of time to work with. And Tiffany
Stratton's title ring has been very mixed. It's had its
good moments, it's had its bad moments. And I think
if she does win, I hope she turns. He really Yeah,
maybe if she does win, she turns he in the process,
(42:55):
I'll give her something to work with. But if she
wins and just stays a baby face the way she does,
I'm not really feeling.
Speaker 3 (43:01):
That, you know what.
Speaker 2 (43:04):
I don't know why I didn't say this earlier, but
I feel like this is something that this could be
a feud that could be extended longer.
Speaker 1 (43:11):
It could be they only had like two weeks to
go towards this, so why might as well?
Speaker 3 (43:16):
Right, I don't want to see this someone and done.
It would make no sense.
Speaker 2 (43:19):
So I mean you said that if she could turn heel, Okay,
that'll be that'll be better, and now we'll really put
some more juice into their feud. But I don't see
this as a want and done. I would hate that.
Speaker 4 (43:32):
We'll see what if she turns heel and this is
the successful Charlotte babyface turn in the tag match, and
so you had the balance shift between the two who
have been playing.
Speaker 1 (43:46):
It's possible yet, it could it could go that way,
but as of now, I think I have Jade winnings.
She'll be like a big coordination for it. And speaking
of Charlotte, let's get into our next match for the
women's tag team titles. We have raquelgood Riguez and Roxanne
for defending their titles against Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
Speaker 2 (44:07):
God oh Man, see a part of me. I like
the fact that Charlotte Flair is really accustomed herself to
this big change in her career, that she went from
a single star, single person stardom to now attack team
with Flexa Bliss.
Speaker 3 (44:25):
And I like the tax tam chemistry between them two.
Speaker 2 (44:28):
But the fact that wrote Raquel Rodriguez and Roxane Perez
are the tack ting champions, and you have liv Morgan
who's still gone, who will a turn eventually. I want
her to come live, Morgan to come back and look
at those two. But like, yo, what the hell is
going on? Why are why is she your tag team partner?
(44:49):
Why is Dominic doing this?
Speaker 3 (44:51):
This? And that?
Speaker 2 (44:52):
What the hell's going on? So they have to keep
the belts on them?
Speaker 3 (45:01):
They have to, Chris, you agree, I think so.
Speaker 4 (45:05):
I don't think. I don't think Charlotte and Alexa would
benefit from winning the belts. I think the story is interesting,
and I'm with you, John. I like their chemistry, I
like what they've been doing, but I don't think they
need to win it. I do think it makes more
sense to keep them on, Roxane and Raquel, because they've
actually been I think, doing some good work with them lately.
(45:28):
I've liked what the Judgment Day is done with the
tag Belts, so I don't want to see it stop
just to put some gold on those two. I don't
think they need it, so I think it's Judgment Day.
Speaker 1 (45:40):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll agree. I think Raquel and Roxanne
just got the belts recently. They have a lot of
momentum right now. With his storyline has been very entertaining,
and Raquel keeps constant trying to mention Liv's name every
time they try to forget about her, seeming they try
to replace her. And after how Roxanne got in the
(46:01):
way of Dominic Mysterio in that tag match on Raw
Monday to save him, I could see a possibility of
him getting involved to help them retain too. But regardless,
as entertaining as that Charlotte and Alexa tag team has been,
and I think it still stays entertaining going beyond this,
I think Raquel and Roxanne retained here and Charlotte and
Alexa will get the belts eventually, but not right now.
Speaker 2 (46:23):
Yeah, and then when you really think about a psychological
aspect of this, Raquel's still missing Live. And then Roxanne
is still trying to warm up with Raquel. Raquel kind
of like, all right, we're the champions, but you're cool
and all a little but I still like Live. So
they're still trying to warm up to each other and
(46:44):
it's gonna get to a point where all right, you
know what, Roxanne, you're cool. I really like you now
and then boom, then Live shows up and he's like.
Speaker 3 (46:52):
Oh, what is this all?
Speaker 2 (46:56):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (46:57):
All right, So ro San and Miquel Ritaine, let's get
onto our next match. We have Sammy Zain going one
on one with Carried and Cross and this tiebreaker match.
Speaker 2 (47:08):
Thank god, Carrying Across is getting in the well deserved
push that he deserved. I Chris, I have been a
supporter of this man since day one, even in his
nnext days. So the finally to see him getting pushed
and also the feedback that he's been getting from the fans,
that's extraordinary.
Speaker 3 (47:27):
I love it.
Speaker 4 (47:28):
Oh I'm a big carrying Across man too, So yeah,
I was away from wrestling for a long time. Came
back in the fall of twenty twenty two, and he
was one of the first people that I saw that.
I was like, Oh, I like his vibe and I've
I've been in a fan since since then.
Speaker 1 (47:43):
Funny enough, that's when he just came back, because they
released him the year before and he just came back
around that time.
Speaker 4 (47:49):
Oh cool.
Speaker 1 (47:50):
Yeah, I've liked what they've been doing with him in
these last few months. I like that he's getting more
TV time, he's in an actual feud with somebody on
the caliber at level of Sammy z Ain. I'd like
this stuff they've done in these last few months where
like he haunts him. He keeps saying, admit that I
was right, admit that I was right, and whatnot. It
kind of feels like he might be talking to his
wife at the time with those arguments, but that's another story.
(48:12):
But with that being said, with this being the tiebreaker match,
I think Sammy Zaine wins.
Speaker 4 (48:20):
If Sammy Zain wins, I bet it means that Karen
Cross is not resigning.
Speaker 3 (48:26):
As I have to sign him.
Speaker 4 (48:31):
Yeah, But then I saw this video he posted today
where he played a voicemail from Kevin Sullivan before he died,
and it was like, they're they're stupid, they don't know
what they have. What do they do? Have y'all seen this? No,
I didn't see that on his Instagram. It's like it's
going to do like a part two of his documentary.
So I'm like, well, if there's a part.
Speaker 1 (48:52):
So with him, with his contract being up and whatnot,
maybe this feud might might have been just something they've
been doing for him recently, just like maybe convince him
this day.
Speaker 4 (49:01):
Yeah, absolutely, I.
Speaker 1 (49:05):
Hope he does too, him and Scarlett. Yeah, this feud
has really shown what he can do from a character standpoint,
and yeah, he still definitely has a lot to offer,
So I hope he does stay. But regardless of whether
he stays or not, I think Sammy's am wins this match.
Speaker 2 (49:19):
Not only that, you remember at one point he sold
a lot of merchandise to the point where fans were
begging for it. Yeah that says a lot.
Speaker 1 (49:29):
Yeah it does, But it's gonna say a lot when
Sammy's beats his ass on Saturday. But yes, I think
that's how the outcome is gonna be. We're moving on,
We're gonna have to skim through a little bit more
of this. I don't have a lot of time, but
let's move on to the two main events. For that
one and the tag team match that actually feels like
a bigger deal than the actual main event. We have
Roman Reigns and Jay Usso against bron Breaker and Big
(49:50):
Bronson Reed.
Speaker 2 (49:53):
Look I have I was thinking about this when I
was at work last night. I have seen a lot
of devious things. I've seen wrestlers have their own personal
things stolen. I remember when John Zena had his chain
stolen Undertakers earned stolen on multiple occasions. I remember when
(50:13):
Comma turned that earned into a chain.
Speaker 1 (50:15):
Remember when I remember when Brett Hart got his jacket
stolen by Jean Pierre Lafi.
Speaker 2 (50:22):
God, but never have I ever in so many years
I've watched wrestling, never have I ever seen anybody steal
a man's shoes. What brought that was sold evil and diabolical.
That that's like some bullet, that's some schoolyard stuff. You
steal a man shoes. Not only it wasn't just shoes,
(50:43):
it was Jordan's wha what in the.
Speaker 4 (50:46):
World held them up like a belt?
Speaker 1 (50:51):
It's probably gonna sell them money Bay for twice what
they're worth probably.
Speaker 3 (50:54):
Didn't fit him. That's why.
Speaker 1 (50:58):
Jordan's court and I was and I was unheard of.
I've never seen that, I think a w W period either.
Speaker 2 (51:06):
Even Ice Cube's son, Oshae. Jackson, who's a huge Roman
Rains fan. He he needed a moment. I'm like, Bro,
don't talk to me. I had to ask my friend, like,
did you call the cops? Did you call the cops
after this?
Speaker 1 (51:17):
You follow a report? Yeah, they should have called the
cops after that beatdown. They gave him on Ron money
because that was brutal. And with that being said, considering
that beating they gave them and the fact that Bron
Breaker and Bronson Vider are kind of on the come up,
I think they should win this match and they and
they will win this match.
Speaker 3 (51:38):
Oh my god, after what he did, and I.
Speaker 1 (51:41):
Could see Bron Breaker pinning Roman reigns mm.
Speaker 2 (51:46):
Hmm, especially when that little I liked the back and
forth that they went with each other ago a couple
of weeks ago. I thought, yeah, because you know, Bron's
stepping up, say like I'm you know, I'm the dog
around here, no pun intended, barking and all that stuff.
But yeah.
Speaker 4 (52:07):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (52:07):
I never thought about that because at first when I
saw that, I was kind of like, Roman is gonna work.
Come on, but that'll be one and done. You could
extend it, And never thought about that.
Speaker 3 (52:20):
Hmmm.
Speaker 2 (52:22):
But the shoe thing, man that that oh my god.
Speaker 4 (52:26):
See, I can't tell if the shoot thing was planned
or if he just felt it in the moment and
went with it.
Speaker 1 (52:31):
Probably in the moment, yeah, more or less.
Speaker 4 (52:33):
It was like organic. Yeah. So I think I'm with you, Kurt.
Speaker 1 (52:38):
I think they win, yeah, because there's this stable still knew,
there's still building momentum. Rollins is out possibly, so I
think in order to keep them, you know, strong, and
keep them relevant to that degree, I think they should.
Speaker 3 (52:52):
Win here, yeah, and do it to get more heat.
Speaker 1 (52:56):
On it exactly. So Yeah, Bronson Red and Bron break
or win this match possibly. So we are on to
the main events of Night one, although it should feel
more like a main event than it does, but it
is what it is. At least we're getting this match.
We have the World Heavyweight Champion Gunther the Ring General,
defending his title against CM Punk and his first championship
(53:19):
match at for this title and his first time main
eventing Summer Slam since twenty eleven.
Speaker 2 (53:26):
Oh wow, first championship match of Summer sin since twenty twelve.
Speaker 1 (53:30):
And also and also I was in that stadium the
last time he wrestled at that stadium in Wrestlemedia twenty
nine against the Undertaker.
Speaker 2 (53:38):
Look who despite of how the way things have been going,
Look they redeemed themselves on money. I don't care what no,
what say, they redeemed themselves regardless. Even when the match
was announced, I was looking forward to it. I cannot
wait for it. They will put on a great match.
(54:00):
Mh okay, yeah, despite of you know, you know, it
doesn't feel like no no, no, no no. I like these
two in the ring with each other. These two are
perfect for each other. It will be a great match.
And that segment, like we we we really rained down
on the first one, Like I did not like it.
Speaker 3 (54:21):
But though yo, they.
Speaker 2 (54:22):
They redeemed themselves and I loved it, and Punk really
showed out and it really made me more excited for
this match more than ever.
Speaker 4 (54:29):
Now.
Speaker 2 (54:31):
Damn it, I want to I want to see a
pone winning. This match is so bad, damn it. But
they had to extend a few This is a feud
that it needs to be extended. It was very disfut.
It is just really short with the you know, with
the company, you know, putting all these events within like
two months of each other, and it was a lot, man,
(54:54):
and going through is gonna retain, but the feud will extend.
Speaker 4 (55:01):
I think you've got seeing punk winning seth rollins, cashing in, injury,
being fake all along.
Speaker 3 (55:08):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (55:09):
That's what I'm sticking with. I'm sticking with it.
Speaker 2 (55:12):
Yeah. I thought about that too a little bit. But
you know what's even funnier. Oh my god, you know
it's even funnier. You have to be excited for this
matchup because guess what, Kurt, this was supposed to be
an originally planned match for WrestleMania earlier this year.
Speaker 1 (55:28):
Oh yeah, they leaked the card for WrestleMania. Yes, that
card looked way better than what we got instead.
Speaker 3 (55:34):
Yeah, yeah, I was reading that.
Speaker 2 (55:37):
I was like, hmm hmm, yeah, thanks a lot of RockA.
Speaker 4 (55:46):
Final Boss, the greatest heel in professional wrestling according to him.
Speaker 1 (55:50):
That's ever I guess shoves he go up his ass,
But anyway, that's right. I like, yeah, I rather know
Rock period for the foreseeable future, but that's another story.
As far as this match goes, I think it will
be a great match. I think between this and the
tag match we talked about a few minutes ago, those
are gonna be the two best matches of Night one.
(56:12):
But with how this build has been very short and
very rushed, I think it would be wrong for Punk
to win the title here, even if it isn't SummerSlam
in a big stadium. So I have a scenario where
Gunther could retain and then Rolin's cashes on him afterwards,
or Punk could end up winning after all and then
Robins catches in on him. But either way, I think
(56:34):
Rolins cashes in the money in the bank because they've
been very quiet about the status of his injury and
how he felt they've really done with this, like in
a weird way, like they wouldn't deal with like they
were like really really legit. So I think we do
see Rolins and he cashes in one way or another
and walks out of Night one of SummerSlam with the
title ten years almost to the day of when he
(56:55):
did it last time, when I was there.
Speaker 3 (56:56):
For that too, and look, the only time that I
heard about his injury.
Speaker 2 (57:01):
About a possible like injury time was right after and
they said four to five months, and I was like, okay,
I mean that's.
Speaker 3 (57:11):
Not too bad that that would be before the roar rumble.
He's good. That's like the only time they mentioned it.
Speaker 2 (57:17):
They didn't say. The only time they said anything about
it was and Seth Ronalds was on the SEVENE Sports
show on.
Speaker 4 (57:28):
ESPN Football show.
Speaker 3 (57:30):
No, it wasn't. It was that one journalist he has
his own show. It was.
Speaker 2 (57:40):
Damn he was on that one of the shows. But
he was because of course he's a Bears fan. He
was talking about his Bear though, but he had spoke
about his injury. That was like the only time that
we heard about And I was like, the last time.
Speaker 1 (57:50):
So I gotta put my money on Robin showing up
in one way or another. They've been too quiet about it.
This match hasn't really felt like the big deal it should,
although it still will be a good match in the end.
So yeah, Riley's not showing up would be a letdown,
to be personal.
Speaker 2 (58:05):
I mean it doesn't feel like it is, though, because like, dude,
how how long we had in between what what three weeks?
Two and a half weeks. So that's really this is
not a whole lot you could do, you know. So,
and again that goes back to what I was saying,
how like between June and July, dude, yeah, too many events?
(58:27):
Yeah all in between dude, Like I've even lost count.
Speaker 1 (58:31):
Of what what we went. We had Night of Champions
like at the end of June, then two weeks later
we had Saturday Night's main event and Evolution, and then
three months later coming up, now we have Summer Slam.
Speaker 2 (58:43):
Yeah that was a lie. And there's like a lot
of writing and build up you had to do with
your matches. I was like, dude, that's a lot, and
you have Summer Slam, that's your like your second biggest
event of the year, and you put you bunch all
these events and you don't that the planning was just
it was just off at the end of the day.
Speaker 1 (59:03):
Yeah, like I said, like, this match, as great as
it will be, does not feel as special to see
him punk and Drew McIntire felt last.
Speaker 3 (59:09):
Year, Oh oh god. I was low key pissed at
Punk loss.
Speaker 2 (59:18):
I was like, damn it the hell but then the
story got so much better.
Speaker 1 (59:23):
But yeah, you get pissed again because he's not gonna
win this year either.
Speaker 3 (59:28):
I know because I picked to win.
Speaker 1 (59:30):
So yeah, Punk always, Punk always loses these big major
Summer Slam matches.
Speaker 3 (59:35):
They usually will have.
Speaker 2 (59:37):
He will have his moment at next year as Russell Mania,
very possible against huh you.
Speaker 4 (59:48):
Think against Cody next year.
Speaker 2 (59:50):
They've been they've been really been playing off for like
god knows how long, and now it's like you really
need to do it.
Speaker 3 (59:58):
Now, like no more playing around, no more, like you
need to do it next year fast.
Speaker 1 (01:00:04):
All right. Yeah, we'll cross that bridge when we get
to it. But yeah, we got last night one of SummerSlam.
We gotta kind of speed this up. I only have
a few minutes left. We got Night two of SummerSlam.
We have a TLC match commemorating the twenty five year
anniversary of the verse TLC that took place at Summer
Slam in two thousand. We have six teams though instead
of three, which is gonna be fucking wild. We have
the Wyatts. We have the Wyatts defending against the Street
(01:00:28):
Profits MotorCity machine Guns. Johnny Gargano went to Masco Chapo,
Fraxium and Andrede and Ray Phoenix, Holy shit.
Speaker 2 (01:00:40):
Dude, the Wyat Cities just are the freshly new tag
team champions, So I have them winning me too.
Speaker 4 (01:00:47):
Yeah, I agree with y'all because if they win this match,
then it's like, Yo, they are the tag team champions,
like no doubt.
Speaker 1 (01:00:56):
In this match, I would love to see the Street
Profits win. But my heart says, I'm sorry, my head says,
the Wyat's retained. They just got the titles and all
the other teams have kind of already been champions or like,
you don't really take them seriously as being champions winning
this match. So with that being said, yeah, I think
they win here. But yo, I can't wait for this match,
(01:01:18):
especially after the TLC we had on the SmackDown after
WrestleMania earlier this year. They're definitely gonna have a point
to prove with them being on the Summer Slam card
and being in a big stadium, They're finally gonna get
to have the moment here that they didn't get to
have it WrestleMania. And kudos to ww forgetting it right
this time because the tag titles on SmackDown around the
show and the rod Tag titles are not on the show.
Speaker 3 (01:01:40):
Thank god.
Speaker 2 (01:01:41):
Especially no New Day, No New Day no, Oh my god.
Speaker 1 (01:01:47):
All right, so the Wyats six retain. I can't wait
for this match. I think it's gonna be batchit crazy,
but in a good way.
Speaker 4 (01:01:52):
Someone's dying. I don't put the world someone's dying.
Speaker 1 (01:01:59):
All right, let's move on. We have for the Intercontinental
Championship Championship that was made famous at many Summer Slam
events in the past. We have Dominic Mysterio commemorating the
twenty year anniversary of his first SummerSlam appearance. In two
thousand and five, famous Stereo and Eddie Garrell fought over
custody of him defending his Continental title against aj Styles.
Speaker 4 (01:02:21):
Oh god, oh.
Speaker 1 (01:02:23):
Shit, so many memories.
Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
Oh you brought me back, Kurt oh twenty years. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:02:31):
I love the build up between these two, like how
he was trying to prove you know he was you know,
is he physically able to to you know, work and
all that and yeah. But Dominic Mysterio is gonna win
this match. He's gonna cheat his way, take advice from
his daddy, Eddie.
Speaker 1 (01:02:48):
Yeah, he's gonna be up to his chicken tender slug
tactics and that's gonna help him retain his title, because yeah,
we as great as aj Styles is, as incredible as
he still is at this stage of his career, he's
not reading the title here, especially after he pinned Dominic
on Monday in that sixth person that was pretty much
a giveaway that he's not gonna win the title.
Speaker 3 (01:03:07):
And I have to cheer. I have to cheer for
Dominic right now.
Speaker 2 (01:03:10):
I have to mean, he's my Padre san Diego, padre brethren,
so yeah, I have to pick.
Speaker 3 (01:03:14):
I have to pick him to win.
Speaker 4 (01:03:15):
So and I love him.
Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
He's like he's a heel. He just despicable heel, but
he's so damn good at it that you got to
show love.
Speaker 3 (01:03:26):
Telling you he's red hot.
Speaker 4 (01:03:27):
Man.
Speaker 2 (01:03:27):
Come on, this is I have to say, this is
his best year all the years he's been in his
business so far, this has been his best year.
Speaker 1 (01:03:34):
And just the luck he has with women A second
and nine, like I couldn't get.
Speaker 3 (01:03:39):
Like he needs to take it.
Speaker 2 (01:03:42):
He needs to teach a class called pimping one on
one or just probably he's probably been taking advice from
the Godfather, so you.
Speaker 1 (01:03:48):
Know, he'd be a better teacher than Kevin Samuels was.
Speaker 4 (01:03:52):
Due Dominic just proves the song wrong. Pimping is easy,
right right, right right, all right, Okay, So we have
Dominic retaining the title.
Speaker 1 (01:04:04):
So that's onto our next match and the first steel
cage match of Summer Slam since two thousand and one.
We have for the United States Championship Solo Socola defending
his title against Jacob Fatsu, the Future of WWE.
Speaker 3 (01:04:17):
Yes, I love this feud. I love the fact how
dragged by the cops. That was just hilarious.
Speaker 1 (01:04:25):
I'm gonna be doing the Jacob Flattou dance all up
in Medlife Stadium.
Speaker 3 (01:04:28):
It's gonna be a rap probably.
Speaker 2 (01:04:30):
Yeah, Damn damn my ass.
Speaker 1 (01:04:35):
Jacob Fatou's winning his title back, damn really ok Yeah,
of course it's a cage match. It's SummerSlam. Few've been
dragging for months. Yeah, Jacob Flatou's whooping that ass and
regaining his title.
Speaker 3 (01:04:48):
Don't forget his bloodline's and to interfere, I'm.
Speaker 1 (01:04:52):
Gonna eat up Solos Cool the same way had to
eat up with Kel Rodriguez if it came down to it.
Speaker 3 (01:04:56):
Oh God, right, but yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (01:05:00):
Think I think Jacob fau the gains the title.
Speaker 3 (01:05:04):
Okay, Chris, that you thoughts.
Speaker 4 (01:05:08):
Yeah, I think so too, although I would like to
see Solo actually keep it for a little longer because
I'm liking the persona that's come out with it.
Speaker 3 (01:05:15):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:05:17):
Although it just feels like, Yeah, I was a big
Solo critic, so I've got to give him credit where
it's due once they let him be not silly but
just like just funny. Like he's been really shining for me,
so I can rock with him. But I think fatoos get.
Speaker 1 (01:05:36):
Yeah, I think he found a sweet spot, like in
this world he's in now where like he's a he's
a main character. He's like one of the main parts
of the show, but he's not like the main character
like he was going into Summer Spam last year, Like
I didn't buy him in the title match with Cody
in the main event, but as the US champion like
in this few but so with Jacob fatu Yo, what's
a good spot for me? And he's been he's been
great at it. Honestly, I think the belt he ben
(01:05:56):
looks good on him, but you better take as many
selfies as he can and the next two days because
he is dropping that title on Saturday. I'm sorry Sunday.
Speaker 2 (01:06:04):
And Kurt, Kurt, you got concerns that he didn't to
take a picture of Triple Ah.
Speaker 3 (01:06:08):
I was like, just hold on, just just hold on.
Speaker 2 (01:06:11):
And then a day later I was like, see, not
only did he take the picture, but his whole bloodline
took the picture of Triple A C See.
Speaker 1 (01:06:19):
Triple It is an honor, very ooze. All right, So
let's move on and the two of the matches I'm
really looking forward to. For the women's in her Continental Championship,
we have Becky Lynch, fresh off of her cameo and
Happy Gilmore too, defending her movie.
Speaker 3 (01:06:34):
By the way, we call it good.
Speaker 1 (01:06:36):
But that's another story.
Speaker 3 (01:06:37):
I liked it. I liked her for what it is.
I liked it.
Speaker 1 (01:06:42):
Elle did not have nice things to say about that.
He was a lot harsher on the movie than I was,
but that's yeah. He said it was hot garbage. Yeah,
he called it hot garbage. M I mean, it wasn't great,
but I mean could have been worse. Also could have
been better, but all right, but anyway, Yes, Becky Lynch
will be defending her title against her arch nemesis, Labra
(01:07:04):
Valkyria aka Lyra. Two steps after what you did on
Raw Monday with a little turnaround.
Speaker 3 (01:07:13):
That one stipulation added in this match.
Speaker 1 (01:07:16):
So yes, if Lyra loses, she can't challenge Becky ever
again as long as Becky holds the title, but also
the match, will we notice qualifications? No count out.
Speaker 3 (01:07:27):
There must be a winner, thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:07:30):
No more distractions or confusions, just like in their last
two matches, especially one at Backlash. We almost had we
almost had a double count out.
Speaker 3 (01:07:40):
Oh yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:07:42):
So man, it's really been fun seeing Becky Lynch with
that championship.
Speaker 3 (01:07:48):
He's been doing a good job with it.
Speaker 2 (01:07:49):
But with the stipulation, Yeah, a lot of our care
is retaining, no, not retaining, regaining the women's Icy title.
Speaker 4 (01:07:56):
Yeah, I'm with you too.
Speaker 1 (01:07:59):
Yeah. I think this is a moment for the way
this feud has been going the last few months. Has
been mainly designed to get her to that next level,
and I think it's worked for the most part. The
segment on Row was a little rough for whatever shit happens,
you have a bad night every now and then. But
I think this match is going to be incredible. I
think it's gonna be one of the best matches of
the whole weekend. If what we've seen so far between
them is any indication. But I think Libra wins, but
(01:08:21):
I think Bailey comes out and attacks her afterwards if
not there the next night on Raw, and that starts
the feud between them.
Speaker 4 (01:08:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:08:30):
I saw she had like a very heated segment after
SmackDown went off there about her not being on the
card on SummerSlam.
Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
Well, Bailey had an interview backstage on Raw Monday with
Jackie Redman, and yeah, she was sounded very salty and
very depressed about you know, not being on the card.
Speaker 4 (01:08:49):
John, you're the video you're saying was that from after SmackDown?
Speaker 3 (01:08:53):
Sorry, SmackDown SmackDown?
Speaker 4 (01:08:55):
Okay? Yeah, Yeah, I like what you're saying, Kerr. I
think I could rock with that. She needs to be
doing something other than just just hanging out and being there.
Needs to be a new direction, you know, player better
as a heel against Lyra.
Speaker 1 (01:09:10):
Yeah, yeah, because if they do jack shit with her
after this, like if they just like, you know, push
it to the sideline because she missed WrestleMania and now
she's pretty much gonna miss SummerSlam too. If they don't
have anything like you know, worth seeking your teeth into
to do after this. Then they're begging her to like
not be signed with her contracts something to say, go
fuck yourself. I'm going to aw and I'm gonna share
the titles with Mercedes.
Speaker 3 (01:09:31):
Yeah no, please, for the love of God, don't go there. No,
she just please turn her heel, all right.
Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
But anyway, Yeah, so I have Lyra regaining the title here.
It's gonna be a big crowning moment. I'm looking forward
to this match. This is the first Women's in her
Continental title match at SummerSlam. For how famous that belt's
been made at Summer Slam over the years. So I'm
looking forward to being there to see this match, and
I think it'll be, like I said, one of the
highlights of the whole weekend. But in another match, it'll
probably be the highlight of the whole weekend too. We
(01:09:58):
have the triple threat for the Women's World Championship as
we have Naomi brush off of her money in the bank,
Cashi and evolution in her first title defense against Rio
Ripley and Eo Sky.
Speaker 2 (01:10:11):
Well, that shocking climax that we saw the evolution, I mean,
Naomi is the new champion, the fresh champion. This is
her first title defense, and you need to you got
to test the waters with this and see how this is.
Speaker 4 (01:10:24):
Going to go.
Speaker 3 (01:10:25):
Naomi retains, I think she has.
Speaker 4 (01:10:28):
She retains has to It would be terrible, It'd be
a bad look and it would not be as this
as they say, beating the allegations if she loses on
her first right, right.
Speaker 1 (01:10:42):
You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (01:10:43):
Like, yes, right.
Speaker 4 (01:10:46):
Come on, like so show us for your I think
she wins. Yeahs too, and I hope she does.
Speaker 1 (01:10:52):
Yeah. Yeah, she just won the title a few weeks ago.
She has a lot of momentum right now. With this,
he will turn the work she's been doing, especially how
she was dressed like Michael Jackson in the Thriller video
on Rob Monday and just how funny and just how
I entertaining she just comes off, and the interviews and
whatnot in the segment she's been in. Yeah, I think
it would be wrong to take this title off of
her now. I mean, EO's great Ria is great, no
(01:11:13):
doubt about it, but I don't think they need it
the way that Naomi needs it. So I think Naomi wins.
And if this could be even close to being as
good as that triple threw we saw with Ria Eo
and Bianca and WrestleMania. Holy shit, is it going to
be a match to see?
Speaker 3 (01:11:29):
I'm pumped all right, So on.
Speaker 1 (01:11:31):
To the main events because I literally got to go.
In like five minutes, we have for the ww Championship
a rematch from WrestleMania the fourth time ever, the same
match that main evented WrestleMania Main Events SummerSlam in the
same year. We have John Senior defending his title against
Coley Rhodes.
Speaker 3 (01:11:50):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:11:50):
I and this time is a street fight that I think.
I don't know, man, I think I think Cody Roads wins.
Speaker 1 (01:12:10):
He has to, he has to.
Speaker 2 (01:12:12):
Yeah, I think he's going to come out to the
ring of like some Hulk hooking colors as a tribute.
Speaker 1 (01:12:19):
I don't know if that would be a wise idea.
Speaker 4 (01:12:23):
I'll be mad if he does.
Speaker 1 (01:12:24):
I won't be mad if I won't be mad if
he does, I get it, But I just don't know
how well that would probably come off.
Speaker 4 (01:12:31):
Oh yeah, I think there's a chance he wins by
brutalizing Sina, thereby turning himself and sowing the seeds for
Sina's return.
Speaker 3 (01:12:50):
So Cody turns hell.
Speaker 4 (01:12:53):
If not a full turn, he's on his way, plants
the seeds for it. This is it. I think this
is the this is the march. Yeah, I think.
Speaker 3 (01:13:02):
He's kind of so.
Speaker 2 (01:13:04):
This is kind of similar with Austin and Rocket wressell
MANA seventeen where Austin was like obsessedive when he brutalizes
the Rocks just so he can win the title. So
Cody will do the same thing because he didn't he
didn't get aggressive at wrreussell Mania, but this time he
will be aggressive now as SummerSlam to win, I think.
Speaker 1 (01:13:21):
And maybe he takes it too far and then that
leads to maybe planning the seat of a will turn.
That could happen, but I don't think now's the time
to turn him. Yeah, but I do think it's time
to turn see a back, babyface. I will admit that.
Speaker 3 (01:13:32):
Thank God. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:13:33):
I could see them having like there's crazy, all out
fight and then Cody eventually wins. Cody eventually wins and
you know, regains the title and then possibly him and
seen the shake hands at the end of it and
say this is all the rockspault the whole time.
Speaker 4 (01:13:47):
Okay, I could rock with that. I can rock with that.
Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
Fun intended and crazy for John Zena. Every ten years
he's been in the championship match of Summertime. You go
back twenty years ago, two thousand and five against Chris Jericho,
ten years after seth Rawlins, and now this year Cody Roads.
Speaker 4 (01:14:04):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:14:04):
Yeah, and he's going on and he's had so many
classic matches at SummerSlam. He's like one of the people
you could put in the conversation for being mister SummerSlam.
And it's crazy. This is gonna be his last one.
Speaker 4 (01:14:14):
Yeah, that's wild.
Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
But it ends in a loss. I think Senor drops
that title to Cody. Cody regains the title and he
goes back to being the top guy in the company
and being that face that he was for a whole year.
I've kind of missed him as the champion in a way,
to be honest.
Speaker 3 (01:14:29):
Oh well, damn, I'll be damn.
Speaker 2 (01:14:31):
I hope everybody else feels the same way, because everybody
was shitting on you. He's total rings blah blah blah
and all that, and now everybody's starting to miss him.
Speaker 3 (01:14:40):
Now wow, as the table has turned.
Speaker 1 (01:14:43):
Yeah, so Cody, Cody regains the title. It's gonna be
a big fireworks celebration. It's gonna be all, It's gonna
be all grandeur, It's gonna be all what's the word
I'm looking for? Popping circumstance. Shout out to Macho Man
Randy Savage, and Yeah, SummerSlam Night two ends with Cody
regaining the title and possibly the seeds planted for Seenior
to turn baby face again, which I'm more than down for.
(01:15:04):
