In this week's episode, we review last weekend's Money in the Bank PLE that saw Naomi and Seth Rollins grab both briefcases, Becky Lynch cheat to win the women's Intercontinental Title, and the return of R-Truth as he attacked John Cena during the main event. In addition to that, we dive into a memorable episode of Raw that followed which featured a heated face to face segment between John Cena and CM Punk, the start of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments, and Gunther shockingly regaining the World Heavyweight Title from Jey Uso.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yo yo, what is going on, my fellow wrestling fans.
Welcome to a brand new week and welcome to a
post money in the Bank and crazy ass episode of
Monday Night Raw edition of what we like to call
the Clash of Champions where we dive head first and
so all the controversy, storylines, personalities, and all that shit
in between that censor around this world we know and

(00:24):
love as professional wrestling for better or words. I'm your host,
the vegan you believe in conscious Kurt aka Kerr gpt
in the flesh as always and my co host needs
no introduction, what the hell with it?

Speaker 2 (00:38):
He's about to give y'all one anyway.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
That's right, ladies and gentlemen, this is Jonath Randall the
Adventure himself at your guys' service, and welcome to our
wrestling podcast, our soap opera that we love to deliver
the news to and mat one hell of a weekend
that we had man money in the bank and literally
last night on Raw Raw especially crazy. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
We also have worlds collide on Saturday afternoon before Money
in the Bank took place, which was a great event
from what everybody said. And then we had Money in
the Bank Saturday night, and that was also a good
show too, And honestly, more than anything as good as
Money in the Bank was, what happened on Raw last
night was even better.

Speaker 3 (01:24):
Yeah. When I look back at this event, I kind
of be honest, I kind of enjoyed this event a
little bit more than backlash, just a little bit. But yeah, fair, yeah,
to be fair, but yeah, after what happened on Raw,
it's just well, look, a lot of people complain about

(01:45):
how Raw is not and it's kind of ever since
with the Netflix, I disagree. I feel like the product
and the stuff they put on their show is actually
pretty decent and good. It keeps me tuning in every Monday.
This is one of the best episodes that they had.
I've seen very good episodes in the past, right, but

(02:08):
this one last night it's on that list.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Yeah, especially for this year. Yeah, it's definitely one of
the better episodes I've seen. Yeah, ever since the start
of twenty twenty five and there moved to Netflix. Well,
we'll get into Row a little bit later, but first
we're going to break down Money in the Bank, shorty,
What you drink? I got money in the bank, Shorty?

Speaker 2 (02:27):
What next?

Speaker 3 (02:28):
Still haven't even made it the theme song.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Yet, man, they need to they need to bruin instead
of that generic bullshit they use every year.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
You know, I'm telling you a little scrappy.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Could it be like a career resurgence for them and
like ww be more like a part of the culture
and whatnot.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Yeah, it's a win win, but they just can't get
out of their own ways.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Yeah, setting was dope for Saturday. Man, the intuitoom in
Englewood and you know they've they've been there before and
that was their first row on Netflix. Episode there nice Serena.
I didn't even though it's home of the Clippers though,
but they'll get taken over whenever the Lakers show up.
But anyway, that's other news. But yeah, it was a

(03:08):
nice setting Englewood under the shadows of la And yeah
it was Money in the Bank and first match that
we start off what shin knew start off the night
with the women's Money in the Bank ladder match.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
Yes, we had real bloody Ripley, Stephanie Vacoor, Roxanne Perez,
Julia Naomi and Alexa Bliss.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
M h. It was a good match, got great spots.
You have to have good spots in the match. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
One of the spots I really liked was when Roxanne
Pereza that springboard moon salt on a Rea Ripley when
she was like lying on the ladder.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Yeah, that was dope.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
And also I know Booker T was loving this spot
when Stephanie Ricord the Devil's kissed to Reha Ripley on
top of the ladder.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Holy shit.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
I know Booker T was losing. I know Booker T
was losing it earlier that day. Every man in the
world was losing it exactly. Crazy.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
What were you saying about earlier that day?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
No, because didn't Stephanie well not, didn't Stephanie My career
competed well, she competed on Worlds Collide and SmackDown night
the day before, right.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Yeah, she wrestled three matches in twenty four hours.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Crazy, Holy shit.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Yeah, girls definitely on the grind.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
He's putting in work, Yeah, she is.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
And I don't mind watching it either.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
But I have to say that was my favorite spot,
when she was doing the Devil's Kiss to rear Ripley
on top of the ladder. I as a fan, she
was my pick to win. But you know, business wise,
I you know, we both picked somebody else to win
this match.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Yes, And there was one point in the match also
where Alexa Blisz and Roxane Perez bolted dueling old reds
at the same time off the top of the ladder,
like Alexa Bliss did it to Naomi on one side,
and then Roxanne Perez that really did it to Stephanie
Riccord on the other side.

Speaker 3 (05:12):
Yeah, I saw that. I thought that was dope. Good sequence.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Yeah, it was a great sequence.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
And then there was one point where Alexa Bliss and
Rio Ripley were like climbing up the ladder and then
Naomi just pushed them both off and they fell onto
like another ladder that was like lying in between like
the turnbuckles, and then Naomi climbed the ladder and proceeded
to grab the money in the bank briefcase. And Naomi
is your two twenty five women's money in the bank.

(05:38):
Thank god.

Speaker 3 (05:40):
That was our pick, and there was the right pick
to choose the right move to make it happen, because
she's on a hot heel run and you got to
keep it running if you want to take her seriously
as a hell I mean, think about it. She started
off as a heel with somebody with no tidal implications
in that storyline with Jake Cargill. That's just great. So

(06:04):
you top it off with, Hey, mate, let's put let's
give her a briefcase. Let's give her the money to bank,
brief contract, briefef briefcase. I'm sorry, I'm saying beefcase.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Yeah, I thought you were gonna say beefcake gimmick.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
That's what Yeah, that's what it sounded like. But you
give a point. But anyway, this is good for her.
She needed it, man, especially on Hell on Her He'll run.
This is great. She needs that one last run when
potentially this may be it for her, like towards the
end of the year. This is good for her. Congrats.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Yeah, this is mrobably the biggest achievement she's ever had
in her career, even more than winning the title WrestleMania
and her hometown a few years ago. I feel like
this is as big as it's ever been for her,
and I'm so happy that she got to have this.
I've loved this new character she's been playing ever since
she turned heel a few months ago, and yeah, she's
just been killing it on every level, Like on our
mic work, the new look and her ring work has

(06:55):
always been solid. But yeah, just everything in general has
just been working. And I'm so happy that she at this,
that she got rewarded like on this stage, and I'm
looking forward to seeing what happens when she eventually does
cash in.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
I was this funny feeling that she made cash in
on Tiffany Stratton. Eventually that's gonna be that one.

Speaker 1 (07:14):
Yeah, of course she's gonna crash in on Tiffany Stratton.
It's gonna be karma for Tiffany Stratton because she wanted
by cashing in. Now somebody's gonna win by cashing in
on her.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
I hate to say it, though, I love I love,
I love Tiffany though, but hey.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Yeah, Tiffany's great.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
Honestly, like her entest at WrestleMania, like really stood out
with the whole Barbie entrance, and honestly, just watching that
movie like I've seen it before, it like just reminds
me so much of her in so many different ways.
Tiffany Stratton reminds me of Barbie, and Joe Henry reminds
me of Ken.

Speaker 3 (07:42):
That's funny, both two blondes.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Look on his face. Yeah, yeah, it reminds me of Ken. Yeah,
but Naomi, congrats to her. I'm looking forward to seeing
what happens when she cashes in, and in the meantime,
I think her and Jake Carr will still have unfinished business,
I believe. But fingers cross, fingers crossed, no pun intending
for the person about to speak about if she's able

(08:05):
to come back in time, be see Naomi and Bianca
at Summer Slam.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Oh yes, how can we forget about Bianca Bellair?

Speaker 2 (08:14):
You could never forget about Bianco Bellair?

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Oh never, because I feel like with her coming back,
I mean there's unfinished business between those three.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
So yeah, oh yeah, definitely, But we'll see what happens
in the coming weeks with that. But congratulations to Naomi.
So let's move on to our second match, which was
added the afternoon of the show at World's Collide, we
had Dominic Mysterio, the Chicken Tender slut himself.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
The Intercontinental Yeah, the Intercontinental Champion fair enough aka Vatos
Locals forever in your case, depending his Intercontinental title against
Octagon Junior.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Hey, you know, I love how the sequence started because
look it looked like it was just we're having four
matches on this card. But I love how they played
this out earlier in the day where there was a
confrontation between the two at the World's Collide event, literally
like like blocks away from me a to and Dome
at the Famous Forum, a home of the former home
of my loved Lakers. But I love how the sequence

(09:12):
that they had over there, and then they decided like, look,
we're gonna add another match, let's play it out, and
they played it out perfectly. I love how Dominic Mysterio
was like, look, you know what I'll do it. You know,
I'll defend this title anytime anywhere. Look, I'll put the
title on the line later today and money the bank,
and they did. It was you know, decent matches. Just

(09:33):
a new person from the Triple A Lucha organization, Octagon Junior,
who I've never heard of, but hey, good presentation. I
just felt like, and some fans were saying this, some
fans felt like he got buried wrongly though by losing
cleanly like that. I don't know that's what a lot

(09:54):
of people are saying.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
I don't think it's so much the losing cleanly, it's
the fact that the match is so and he kind
of like lost. The way he did it was like
an impromptu a match they added the last minute with
no story really or whatever. And then the match ultimately
ends when Live Morgan, who was at ringside and Dominic's
corner distracts after God and then Dominic takes advantage of it,
hits him with a six point nine, hits him with

(10:17):
a frog splash on his back, and then retains his title.
And that was that.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Yeah. I mean, look, we knew Dominico was gonna win.
We knew that, you know, but uh it just yeah,
of course, but it was just like the the timing
of the match and then how the way and ended,
and some people are like, whoa wait a minute, now
you just literally have this literally like a newcomer from
a very well received Worlds Collide event. Let's not forget

(10:43):
about that, KURTI. This is a very good event they
had at the form as well, very very well received
a lot of social media views, just a lot of
you know, a lot of views for this event, and
then you know, you end up losing badly like that
to Dominic. Mysteria. I don't know. Some people were complaining
about how, you know, the finish of the you know

(11:04):
just how the way he got buried, I guess.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
I mean is what it is. I mean it was,
like I said, it was like a match we added
on at the last minute. I wouldn't really get to,
you know, amped up about that. But if this keeps
happening like in the months to come, where they always
lose to the ww people, then that would be a
different story. But until then, I think it's so much
to do about nothing. So Dominic retains and let's get
onto our next match. From the Men's in Her CUTMDAL title,

(11:30):
so the women's in Her Continental title.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
We had live with Valkyria defending.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Against the man the woman who she owes a lot
of the success in her career too over these last
few months.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Admittedly, but but but but Becky.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
Lynch alyize, this was my favorite match of the night.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Yeah it was. It was probably the best match of
the show. That and probably the Men's Money in the
Bank were probably the two best matches.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Yeah thought that. I just we knew the stick, But
I just I love the stipulation of the match and
the fact that you have this title on the card,
and the few I loved it. It was a great match.
A lot of near falls and great spots. When Becky
Lynch hit the man handle slam from the top up,
I thought it was over, but it wasn't. I was
surprised lylah Fakira kicked out.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
Yeah she has heart starting there was this one point
in the match where Libra leg dropped Becky as she
was like hanging from the railing outside the ring, and
then she even hit the night Wing on the Becky
on the floor at one point too.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
But yeah, and then but both of them were like
knocked out. For the longest time, I was saying to myself, like,
please don't tell me they're gonna both get counted out.
I mean, if they're gonna do this to extend the story,
I understand, But like, damn, I was like, oh my god,
what if they if they both get counted out? And
they both surprisingly got in Literally at the count of nine,

(12:46):
they both you know, broke the count going jumping back
into the ring. But man, I got a little scared
at first when I saw that.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Yeah, that was two damn close.

Speaker 1 (12:54):
But thank god they did not in the match that way, right,
But then they were trading roll ups, and then eventually
Becky rolled up Lyra and pulled her tights while she
was rolling her up and got the women and Becky
Lynch is the new Women's Inner Comminal Champion, the second
one to ever hold that title, and as the stipulation,

(13:17):
Labra Valkira had the raise her hand and tell her
she was the better woman.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
She did she did the first time, but Becky Lynch
was like, no, that wasn't good enough. You need to
do it in every corner of the ring, facing the
camera facing left right behind you. He was like, you
got to do it all over the place so they
could see us. And then Lyra the Killer wasn't having it.
And you know, as we predicted during our prediction show

(13:46):
last week that hey, when this is when this is
gonna happen, li there is gonna knock her out and
she did.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
Well, what happened was Becky kept like you had demanding
Lyra to like raise her hand like in front of
all the sides of the crowd, and then she like
took it a step further and demanded that Lyra put
the belt around her waist. That something like real Virgil
teddybiass type shit. But yeah, she was like demanding to
do that. And then as Lyra was putting the title
around the waist, she German supplexed her ass and later

(14:14):
asked out with the night Wing to pretty much signal
that this feud is far from over.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
Good shit, Yeah, great way to us. It's funny how
backlash love Carroll is the one who rolled her up
and then Becky Lynch pretty much flips the script and
does the same thing to win the title. And yeah,
as we both predicted, we knew this was gonna happen that. Yeah,
lot of Vikira raised Becky Lynch's hand though, but guess

(14:40):
what a lot of care pretty much got the last
say in a physical way on Becky Lynch. Yeah, this
feud is not over.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Yeah, even though she does not have the title anymore, Libra,
I think it will be fine. I'm looking forward to
seeing how much this few progresses. And we saw a
lot of that progression of the feud on Raw last night,
but we'll get into that a little later. But yes,
Becky Lynch the new women's in our cardinal champion. Great
match and yes, arguably the best match and best thing
on the whole show, hands down. So next we had

(15:09):
the men's Money in the Bank ladder match, which consisted
of mister wacky ass Outfits himself, Seth Freaking Rollins, La
Knights In La of All Places, Solo Socoa, Penta Grande Americano,
and Andrede. We had the match. It was pretty fun.

(15:29):
There was a pretty cool, good amount of good high
spots in this match, including one where Pencee hit the
Mexican Destroyer onto Androdi on top of the ladder.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
That was pretty nasty.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
I loved how the match started because so was trying
to get on everybody's good side. Yo. And look, look
he has changed over the years. Man over the year.
It's crazy how he was that serious enforcer guy, how
he didn't talk much all that and now he's just

(16:01):
like he's kind of like his personality is coming out more.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
Honestly, as a character, he's come a long way. Like
I find him very entertaining. I mean, is he somebody
I see like being the world champion or whatnot? Probably not,
But as a character, yes, he has definitely grown in
the last year or.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
So, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
It was funny, Yeah, it was.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
And then the matches going on, and then Seth Rollin's
like down outside the ring and he said he's like
calling for some people to come out, which we pretty
much knew who he was calling out, and it turned
out to be his new stablemates of bron Breaker and
Bronson Reed and your They look badass coming out the
way they did, and bron Breaker just spears the hell
out of El Grande Americanos, like spears all the rice

(16:44):
and beans out of him.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Hey, it was it was American factory made. It wasn't
real Mexican rice.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
And beans carrier from Taco Bell from Taco Bell, right, but.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
Dude, the visual when he ran out there down that
ramp and just speared the hell out of Elande Americanna.
That dude, his spears are just lethal. We talk about
his spirit that he did a Carlider Russell Mania earlier
this year and now this one, My god, that was
a vicious spear man.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
Yeah, and then he speared La Night outside the ring,
and then Bronson Reid hit Assum Nami on Andreda. They
were going through everybody and then all of a sudden,
Jeff Cobb and Jacob Fatu come out. Mm hmmm, so
you know, business really picked up. They got into a
big drawl. Four men started going at it and then
bron Breaker eventually speared Jeff Cobb through the railing, which

(17:39):
is pretty nasty to watch. But then Jacob Fatu got
the better of Bronson Reid super kicked him here with
that springboard moon salt and yeah, he was doing like
the Wigglies moves and all that jazz Yo. I was
at a bar actually watching money in the bank. People
were going crazy for Jacob. They were losing their mind.
Hey man, he's the future. Him and bron like the

(18:00):
future of this business. And these are two guys where
you definitely see them as potential future world champions and.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
Main events of WrestleMania.

Speaker 1 (18:09):
But Jacob Botts who's helping up Solo, helping him climb
up the ladder, and then Solo's climbing up the ladder,
and then all of a sudden, Jacob Battsu holds his
leg and just stares at him, and Solo's.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Like, yo, what are you doing? What the hell are
you doing?

Speaker 1 (18:23):
And then Jacob Botts, who says the words we've been
hoping and praying for him to say for the last
six months. He tells Solo, ah, hey you, and then
he pulls him off the ladder, super kicks him, hits
him with the springboard moon salt, and then hits him
with a man slam through a ladder on the floor.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
Crazy. We saw this coming, man, after what we saw
what escalated on SmackDown the day before.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Yeah, yeah, the night before on SmackDown, Solo was talking
to Jeff Cobb. He was talking crap about Jacob fa
to We basically called them all gas but no brains.
All gas, no brains, all gas, no brains, and they
were both laughing it off. But then as they were
walking away, Jacob fa Tou was standing right behind.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Them, very similar to Batista and Triple H twenty years ago.
The same thing with Bailey and Damage Control and il Sky.
Yeah damage Yep, you can't be doing that in the
wrestling business, man. I don't know when people are ever
gonna learn you you gotta maybe they need to like
have these talks in a very private area, you know

(19:36):
what I mean, because you may never know whoever is
lurking and listening to your conversation.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
So Solo Sicola Plate paid the major price in this
whole scenario, which I expected him to. So now we're
on the fast track for Solo and Jacob Batu possibly
at SummerSlam, but yeah, honestly, this was the highlight of
the whole match, was this whole angle?

Speaker 3 (19:56):
Yeah? Pretty much.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
Yeah, so Jacob Botsu, Fish Sally turned on Solo. Their
friendship is officially done after one year. And then Seth
Rollins and La Night kind of came down to the
two of them, and then Rollins curb stopped La Knight,
and then Rollins climbed the ladder, retrieved the briefcase and
became the second person in WW history besides CM Punk

(20:20):
to win the money in the bank twice.

Speaker 3 (20:24):
Yeah, he is the second male wrestler to win that
briefcase twice. Him and see him punk this This whole
ending of the matches was mixed, saying, how like a
lot of people that La Knight should have won this match.
I know, me and you both picked them last week
in our prediction show. But at the same time, I'm

(20:47):
kind of not surprised that Seth Rollins won because of
the role that he's on that he's doing, so it
is a little bit disappointed at La Knight did not win.
But yeah, the whole the reception of the was mixed
because a lot of people want to La Night to win.
Do you feel like Seth Rowins was the right person
to win?

Speaker 1 (21:09):
Not really, but only time will tell to see if
I still feel this way, because in all honesty, out
of all six of the guys in this match, he
needed it the least.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
True, because you got it. When you look at these matches,
it's mainly for the ones that are gonna win this
match are pretty much like the newcomers, like the ones
that are like, okay, they've never been champion before, you know,
and these are future people that are gonna carry the
company in the future. Right And Seth Rawlins already did that,

(21:42):
you know what I mean, He already has you know,
he doesn't have a lot to prove, you know what
I mean. But yeah, that's why we both picked La
Knight last week. So I don't know. I trust what
they're gonna do, but I don't know. This is why
this whole reception of him, of Seth winning was a
little bit, you know, a little bit mixed.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
Yeah, I'm a little mixed about it too.

Speaker 1 (22:06):
It was it was kind of like a letdown for
him to win because you know, he's already done so
much and it would have, like I think l A.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
Knight a lot more.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
But at the same time I get it because, like
he still has this stable that's relatively fresh with Breaker
Reed and Hayman, it's still like a fresh stable.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
It's a top kee of faction on raw.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
So this win and having the briefcase adds more heat
to him and adds more heat to the stable. So
in that regard, I understand it. But at the same time, yeah,
it was a bit of a letdown.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
True, true, because you know, we look, we saw what
happened at Russell Mane with La and Night. He lose
the title and it was like, Okay, now he's gonna
gun for you know, go after for world title eventually,
and this is that spot. Now this is kind of
like similar to last year where we thought, like, okay, Jay,

(22:53):
who's still is going to be that guy to win it.
This is his year, you know what I mean, Like, Okay,
this is breakout year. He's gonna win the money in
the bank contract. But he didn't Drew McIntyre one. So
this is kind of similar to last year when I
really think about it.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
Yeah, but we'll see how it plays out.

Speaker 1 (23:08):
But unlike last year, seth Rollins did not try to
cash in on the same night and get screwed over.

Speaker 3 (23:14):
No, no, no, he's a veteran, he knows what he's doing.
He took his Seth Rowns took his time the last
time we saw how that happened. So yeah, Seth, he's
come on. He's smarter than we think.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
Yeah, definitely, But yeah, Seth Rollins did your twenty twenty
five Men's Money in the Bank winner. And now we
are on to the main event as we had Cody
Rhodes and World Heavyweight Champion Jay Uso team up to
face the last real WW champion, John Cena and the
man who will never be WW champion, the doucheback. Fuck

(23:49):
Logan Paul, your mortal enemy, Society's mortal enemy. You know,
I've said that on the show before. Anybody with a conscience,
anybody with a heart in any form of their body whatsoever,
doesn't like Logan Paul as much as I don't like
Logan Paul, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (24:06):
You'd be surprised. There's probably somebody out there that likes him.
You may never know, Yeah, the same people who probably
like Trump. So yeah, there was our tag team match
in the night. What do you thought about this match?

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Kurb started out a little slow.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
The first half of the match was a little slow
and kind of like, yeah, like a basic match with
sen Ra, But it really picked up in the second
half with like the miscommunications between John Cena and Logan Paul.
But I will admit, as much as I don't like
to douchebag fuck Logan Paul, I have to give credit
where he's due. He was probably the star of this
entire match.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Of course, with the moves that he was doing, especially
towards the end of the match. Does a springboard moon
salt to jay Uso through thenounced table.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Not even just that.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
There was that one spot where he was holding the
drone when he was on the top rope and then
Cody superplexed him from the top rope while he had
the drone in his hands still and then also did
a moon slalwt to him that she was crazy crazy. Yeah,
it was a great spot, man. Yeah, I have to
get to do credit. I don't care for him personally
for the way it comes off, but yo, when it
comes to putting on an entertaining match, he delivers.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
I've been saying I've always been saying. I've been saying
that for the past couple of years. Like, you may
not like the guy, but you have to respect his
ring work and the effort that he puts into that
ring also in his business.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
So yeah, you.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Don't have to like somebody personally or be a fan
of somebody personally, but you still have to give credit
where it's due, Like if they do something that's impressive
and to show that they're talented or whatnot, you have
to give props. And if you refuse to give props
because of those personal feelings, that's a bitch azz move,
all right. But anyway, Yeah, so the match goes on,

(25:45):
and yeah, Johnsen is gonna do the FU. I still
call it the FU the Cody Roads on the announced table,
but then Jay Usso spears Seena on the announce table.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
The table did not I'm surprised.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
And then yeah, Logan Paul did that springboard Moon Salt
to So through the announced table and that was rough.

Speaker 3 (26:02):
Yeah, that was rough. That broke. Logan Paul was kind
of like, well, damn, that didn't break, well, let me
do some soca breaking and it did so.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Yeah big time.

Speaker 1 (26:16):
But imagine if that spot went like the way the
Sean Michaels and Kurt angle spot win at WrestleMania twenty one.

Speaker 3 (26:22):
Oh my god. Yeah, I look back at that now
twenty years ago, I was like, how did that did
not break? Yeah, the intensions of trying to break that one?
If not, I don't know that. That's I never asked
myself that question.

Speaker 2 (26:37):
Well, it definitely broke.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
It definitely broke at WrestleMania twenty four and probably broke
Sean Michaels's.

Speaker 3 (26:42):
Ribs too, it did.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
Yeah, that was rough, but that's another story.

Speaker 1 (26:46):
But yeah, it did. The table definitely broken this spot
right here. And then Sena and Cody Roads are in
the ring and then Sena, up to his cheating tactics,
has the WW title in his hand and he lays
out Cody Rhoades with it. But then out of nowhere,
a dude with a hoodie jumps into the ring and
starts attacking scene and start punching him down. And the

(27:06):
dude under the hoodie is none other than our.

Speaker 3 (27:10):
Truth, than our truth, and oh my god, as soon
as he took that mask off, the intuit dome erupted.
I know everybody, you didn't have to be there to erupt,
I know everybody at home that was watching erupt and Kurt,
I bet everybody at the bar where you're watching that erupted.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
Oh yeah, everybody lost their damn mind. They were mainly
losing their damn mind for Jay Uso yeating the whole
damn time. Hell, they were doing it even before he
came out. But yeah, when Our Truth came out, Yo,
the place went crazy.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
Son. Yeah, it was so great.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
It was probably the highlight of the whole match, honestly,
for him to come out that way, and then he
proceeds to lay out John Cena with the ww title belt,
and that would lead to Cody Rhodes laying out John
Cena's punk ass with the Crossroads, and then Cody Rhoads
got the pin and the win for himself and Jay
Usso and for all of society because Logan Paul was
on the opposing team.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
But man, anyway, let's go back to our truth though. Man,
that that unexpected when literally we were talking about how
you know, it's said that he's gone and you know,
and just the contract situation and this happens and just
they literally just the business literally just pulled a wall
over our eyes and this and this sequence man, and hey,

(28:33):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
Yeah, It was a great surprise.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
It was a great way to end the show, and yeah,
it really put that tag team match over the top.
Without that and without Logan Paul's performance, that match would
have been average. But those two things really, you know,
made it stand out. And overall, yes, a very good
money in the bank show, and we got the return
of Our Truth at the end of it. Would have
never seen that coming coming into this match show.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
I will never even guess who it was before he
took his mask off. Who is this guy? This is
a new guy.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
I was almost.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
Nxt who is it.

Speaker 1 (29:09):
I was almost thinking it was that Heyesu's dude, that
was Carlito's bodyguard back in the day. Oh stop, its
that that's not all two months?

Speaker 2 (29:21):
Yeah character, that character disappeared.

Speaker 3 (29:24):
Yeah I know, but I'm just saying that whole feud
in storyline lasted that long. Dude. I was like, damn, two.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
Thousand and four SmackDown was very weird. But yeah, that's
another story. So, yes, Our Truth is officially back. Came
out afterwards that he has re signed with w W
under anew deal, and people were starting to like, you know,
speculate and talk about whether or not his release and
his contract expiring was all at work or something they
liked to foolers so we could get this big surprise.

(29:52):
But I think we all know that it was not
a work, It was not a part of a storyline.
He really was released, but because of all the fan
backlash and all the backlash from all the people who've
worked with him and known him over the years that
force WW into giving him a new deal.

Speaker 3 (30:08):
Nick Connell is the one who kind of like initiated it.

Speaker 1 (30:11):
Yeah, apparently WW tried to get him to re sign,
but then he kind of refused. I guess maybe as
a power play maybe, and then Nick Kahin eventually stepped
in the head of the negotiations and that's when they
came to an agreement.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
Yeah, yep, But.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
I'm happy for the dude and YO.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
This same really shows that people's voices, like if they,
you know, make enough noise, and if they demand something
hard enough in this case, you can make things happen.

Speaker 3 (30:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
I would have never guessed it a million years like
for Our two to get released, that the fan backlash
and the backlash and the people that work with him
would be so strong that WW would have no choice
but to resign.

Speaker 3 (30:49):
Them cractly, and hey, this is going to benefit them
in trust me, and you talk about you go back
to the you know, the fan you know, backlash and
you know, and reception everything. Let's just hope this is
the same. How you know the NBA does the same
thing with the finals. Yeah, Like I'm hearing this every
year during the finals. Put the you know, the Larry

(31:11):
O'Briant trophy logo back on the court, bring back the
starting lineups and all that stuff. And then you're hearing
more and more about this, and then officially they announced
that they're going to do that next year for the Finals.
I'm like, well, you shouldn't never ended in the first place.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
Yeah, And I'm so happy for our truth because like
people always speak so highly of them, say how great
of a guy he is, how he always like makes
the vibe in the room better just by being there,
And yeah, I'm just so happy to do it for
the dude at this stage in his career, he's getting
another chance. Even as Sun put out a tweet afterwards
saying like, congrats Dad on one last run and Triple

(31:49):
H talked about it in the press conference because they
were like asking him about it afterwards, and he basically said, like,
just enjoy the show, Just keep watching the show.

Speaker 3 (31:59):
Not a up the right response that you expected from him.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (32:05):
I mean apparently I heard it was like his decision
to you know, let him go because he does have
some say in it.

Speaker 3 (32:11):
But I mean I heard, I heard a rumor that
he wasn't really happy about Nick con initiating him bringing
him back.

Speaker 1 (32:20):
Well, I say this, if he really is about the people,
if he really is about like, you know, doing what's
best for what the people want and the people's interest,
considering the backlash that came out of our troops release,
that's what's best for the people and also best for
our truth himself, which will get into it in a
few minutes with his appearance on Rod last night. Yeah,
this is a new beginning, bro, this is a brand

(32:41):
new beginning for him. I feel like it's definitely like
a switch and type for like, you know, demands from fans,
the man's from like you know, the people who work backstage,
Like if you could make that much noise and you
don't make that much of an impact, you can force
their hand and force them to do things that they
would maybe not want to do otherwise.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
True, very true. I agree.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
Yeah, so I'm so happy that it worked out this way.
I'm so happy that he's back. And yeah, it's just
so crazy scenario where like one week we're talking about
the dude being released and how much he's contributed and
how sad it is, and then one week later he's
back under a new deal and pretty much under a
new like identity in a sense.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
Yeah, which we'll get into later, But this is so
crazy how this happened all within a week.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
Yeah, I'm happy that it happened, though, Like, I'm really.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
Grateful for the time looking forward to scene where this
last run goes for him, and not enough good things
you can say about this whole scenario.

Speaker 3 (33:39):
Yeah, just everybody was just all over it and you
can't can't be surprised about that man and he's a
great guy, and then you know that what happened. It's like, man,
he doesn't deserve that, you know what I mean, Look,
nobody deserves to get released, right, But when you look
at our truth and guys are kind of like ar Truf,
you're kind of like, he doesn't deserve that. Man, at

(34:01):
the work that he put in even though it was
a comedic role. It's like, man, he doesn't deserve that,
you know, and that's why we're all we're sad about it,
you know, of all people he was released. Wow.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
Yeah, I've never seen fan backlash or like backstage people backlash,
or other wrestlers backlash for like a release any stronger
than for him, And that says a lot. That says
a lot about the kind of person he is and
what he contributed for like that amount of backlash and
for it to resulting him getting resigned, that says a
lot about the Bouts character.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
Yeah, imagine, imagine like thirty years ago, right, thirty plus
years ago. I guarantee you there was a certain somebody
who was very like in the backstage we got wrong,
you know, got released. I guarantee you there was social
media back then, and they did the same thing. You
know what a difference that would have made, you know
what I mean with certain wrestlers back then.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
I guess, yeah, very possible.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
But our truth is back and from what we saw
on Rod last night, better than ever And speaking Raw
last night, let you jump dive in headfirst into last
night's Raw that took place from Phoenix Arizona.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
And it was like over there.

Speaker 3 (35:10):
Yeah, I heard it was all.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
There last night.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
Yeah, we heard Phoenix is like Vegas, but without the
strip and all the party life.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
It's just hotter there than Vegas. Phoenix is a nice place.
I heard a lot of good things about Phoenix. I
want to go there still though, but yeah, Phoenix is
a little bit hotter than Vegas. It's hot here, but
uh yeah, it's it's always hotter in Arizona. My god,
I don't know how people live there.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
Honestly.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
One of the main things that kind of like made
me see Phoenix a little differently, made me see that
it's kind of like maybe a dope place.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
Is the movie Waiting to Exhale.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
I knew you were going to bring that up.

Speaker 1 (35:51):
Lord, Yeah, I was watching that movie once and it's
like based in Phoenix under scene.

Speaker 2 (35:55):
I've seen reading in the different scenes. I'm like, Yo,
Phoenix doesn't look bad.

Speaker 3 (35:58):
Yo, Phoenix doesn't.

Speaker 1 (36:04):
Yeah, all right, But anyway, so yeah, we had Raw
last night take place from Phoenix, Arizona, and the show
opened with John Cena coming out in Phoenix Sun's colors,
which surprised me.

Speaker 3 (36:18):
I'm surprised that Guerrilla didn't come out there with him.

Speaker 1 (36:20):
Kurt, are you still salty about the two thousand and
six playoffs when the Suns beat the Lakers in the
first round?

Speaker 3 (36:28):
No, because the Sons didn't even make the finals that year.
It doesn't matter. They didn't even make it. Steve Dash
for an MVP that year. Nati still don't even make
the finals.

Speaker 1 (36:39):
Yeah, he won MVP two years in a row, and
the resulted in the finals appearance.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
All right, but that's another story.

Speaker 1 (36:47):
So yeah, John Cena comes out in Phoenix Sun's colors
and then he talks about like the whole Archmuth scenario
for money in the bank and how like you guys
like powdered and cried to get somebody back who's like
the best claim to famous career with impersonating me.

Speaker 3 (37:01):
Oh my god, just this the nonsense that comes out
of that man's mouth. My god, Like what the.

Speaker 1 (37:10):
What?

Speaker 2 (37:11):
Gee?

Speaker 3 (37:15):
I just it was like four nonsense for real, And
I just don't understand how like you're a heel, but
yet every city you go to you want to like
I wonder where the city's colors and all that stuff.
I'm like, br I, just why do you care? You
tell us we get nothing, but yet you're wearing like,
for example, like SmackDown right. I love how he's wearing

(37:36):
the Laker colors because they're in a forum. The day
after that, money in the bank, he wears l a
Rams colors, you know what I mean. So I just like,
I just like, see what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (37:48):
Bro?

Speaker 3 (37:48):
Like you're a heel, you do nothing, but yeah, you're
wearing the colors of each city you go to.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
I don't know, but yeah, he's gonna be backing on
Patrick you in Jersey the next time he comes back
to Madison Square Garden, Like, so WrestleMania twenty he's gonna
bring it back.

Speaker 3 (38:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
So Snea comes out, he's like cutting his little promo.

Speaker 1 (38:07):
He's doing his little countdown about how many dates he
has left now it's coming down to like nineteen dates.

Speaker 2 (38:13):
Yeah. But then in the.

Speaker 1 (38:14):
Middle of this he is interrupted by none other than
CM Punk.

Speaker 3 (38:20):
Yes, yes, yes, I was so amped.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
When I heard his music and when he came out,
I'm like, Yo, this is gonna be good.

Speaker 3 (38:29):
First finally happened the first.

Speaker 1 (38:32):
Time we seen these two go back and forth on
the mike since twenty thirteen.

Speaker 3 (38:37):
Yes, it finally happened. I've been just waiting and waiting
for this moment to come, and it finally happened, finally
face to face in that ring. Oh, it brought me back.
It brought me back. One of one of my favorite

(39:00):
rivalries in this business is seeing punk and John Cena.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
Yeah, by far, one of the best rivalries in the
last I would say fifteen years, one of the best
pretty much of all time. Probably seen his best rivalry
and probably next to Edge I'd say.

Speaker 3 (39:15):
Yeah, I agree, And probably the rivalry that literally sparked
the you know, pretty much gave that shot the business
needed that year in twenty eleven.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
Yeah, this really saved WWE.

Speaker 1 (39:28):
During that time was so the punk pipeline and the
summer of Punk and a few with Sina Yet I
really did wonders for them during that time.

Speaker 3 (39:37):
Yeah, but yeah, it was time. Look, look you if
anybody could go head to head with John Zena on
the mic at see him punk.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
Oh yes, And he did in a major way here
talking about how like I'm the I'm just a spin
on the wheel. I always have been, and I understand that,
but I'm gonna show you that you're just a spin
on the wheel. Too, And the way I'm going to
prove that is by taking that Chance championship away from you.

Speaker 3 (40:02):
Yeah. I loved how he mentioned and me, me and
you and a lot of other real wrestling fans that
been you know, in the trenches for a long time
knows exactly what he's talking about. I loved how he
mentioned how like he was challenging John Zena for the title,
but he was pretty much telling him, you know, make

(40:23):
make your decision. Are you going to be Boston Red
Sox or New York Yankees. When he said that, I
was like, oh my god, I love that, love I
love that It went back to the contract. Well, no, no, no,
it went to that night when you're in Boston before
money in the bank, when you know Vince McMahon was
going to offer him a new contract, and literally, you know,

(40:45):
Punk was telling Xena that you're no longer your underdog.
You're literally are a dynasty because of who you are,
what you've done. Now, You're no longer the Red Sox,
You're you are who you hate. You are the New
York Yankees. And I was like, oh my god, that
was like so deep when he said that, but it
was true, rue and he said it again and I
loved it.

Speaker 1 (41:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (41:06):
He was talking about also how he was never.

Speaker 1 (41:10):
Wanting to win the title back when he came back
last year because he knew what being the champion would
do to him and like turn him into a monster
back in twenty twelve. But now that he sees what
it's doing to John Cena and how it's corrupting him,
he realized he needs to become a monster himself in
order to kill that monster.

Speaker 2 (41:27):
I was also a creative line.

Speaker 1 (41:30):
And then he started, you know, he started like hitting
the belt really hard and kind of like tugging it.
Sena like in the middle of it too. Yeah, this
was getting intense, and he said he was like challenging Sena.
He basically mentioned saying, yeah, you have nineteen dates left,
and I'm gonna let you pick out of those nineteen
dates which one you want for me to take the title.

Speaker 2 (41:46):
From you on.

Speaker 3 (41:48):
Yeah, and he put it in. Zena was like, look,
we'll do it, but not tonight. We'll do it Saudi Arabia. Yeah,
typical heal stuff, you know what I mean, every hell
champion does. It was like, look, I'll facy, but not tonight. No,
not tonight. We'll do it at this night and.

Speaker 1 (42:04):
The fans cheering like they're actually gonna get the match
like then and there I'm.

Speaker 3 (42:06):
Like, gods, you're already get up, You're already get in
the world title bache later tonight, I'll spoil the.

Speaker 1 (42:13):
Game, man, come on, yeah, come on, yeah, And he said,
if you want the title, you're gonna have to follow
me to Saudi Arabia. And it's been made official since then.
It's gonna be Seena and Punk at Night of Champions
on June twenty eighth and riad Saudi Arabia and then
so marks CM Punk's first time wrestling on one of

(42:34):
the Sweet Saudi Money shows.

Speaker 3 (42:36):
Yes, and funny how he said, follow You're gonna follow
me to Saudi Arabia. So yeah, you're gonna follow me
on a magic carpet to Saudi Arabia.

Speaker 1 (42:45):
Yeah, it's an ultimate hill move because like Punk has
always kind of refused to be a part of those
shows and like spoken out against them over the years,
and now he's gonna finally be a part of it.

Speaker 3 (42:55):
I didn't know that. Yeah, what was this that he
mentioned this when he was with a w or like
just there was this one tweet where like miss kind
of like mock punk about that show he was on
that backstage show he was on on Fox Sports.

Speaker 2 (43:15):
For a while.

Speaker 1 (43:15):
He talked about something by like like you know, switching
up the culture, something along those lines, kind of like
mocking punk. And then Punk responded saying, go suck a bloodthirsty,
money hungry Sawdi dick, you asshole, something along those lines.
I mean they've squashed it since then, but like, yeah,
he said that in the tweet once and then I
think the last Sawdi shows they did in October, he

(43:37):
like took time off after the Hell and It.

Speaker 2 (43:38):
So with McIntyre, he was like gone from TV for
a while.

Speaker 1 (43:41):
So yeah, apparently, I guess he's had like some issues
with the political stuff going on there. I know Brian
Danielson's been the same way too, so it makes sense.
But now for whatever reason, he's going to be a
part of this one and going against John Cena for
the title.

Speaker 3 (43:55):
You know, it's crazy. The last time these two faced
each other for the title and the champions was in
twenty twelve in Boston.

Speaker 2 (44:03):
Oh yes, we're Punk wore the Yankees stripes.

Speaker 3 (44:07):
Yanks stripe. He look, dude, see him Punk top three,
like literally top three. He's my one of my top
three favorite wrestling attire because I love how creative he
gets with his with his threads. I love his threads
like it tells the story, especially of where he's at

(44:30):
or whatever. Like I love the Brett Hart threads that
he wore SummerSlam twenty twelve. I love that. I love
the Yankee pinstripes threads that he wore because they're in
Boston and he was being, you know, pretty much he
was the heel, but he was pretty much being the
villain and enemy territory. I love that man. He has
so many good like the Undertaker threads he wore atreussell

(44:53):
MANA twenty nine. If you caught onto that, it was
beautiful and black and gray love that.

Speaker 1 (44:59):
Yeah, Yeah, he's one of the best bro And we're
gonna get Sena and Punk at Night of Champions. It's
kind of a weird place for them. They have their
first match against each other in twelve years, but I'll
take you. I was kind of hoping they would wait
until Summer Slam, but like, seeing that they're doing this
match now, I think they're gonna probably do Sena and
Cody in a rematch of Summer Slam.

Speaker 3 (45:20):
Yeah, but hey, I don't care about where I'm I'm
glad that they're doing it again, and I wanted them
to do it again. They I was like, you have
to look, if you're gonna do John Zena versus Randy
Orton for one last time, you have to do John
Zena versus see Him Punk. And you know what even
bothers me now now now that I think about it,

(45:42):
if Edge was still in the company, they would have
did John Cena versus Edge this year. They know they
would have done it.

Speaker 2 (45:49):
Yeah, they definitely know they would have. Yeah, of course,
but Edge is in aw right now, coping with whatever
he's going through.

Speaker 3 (45:57):
Cope.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
But is what it is.

Speaker 1 (46:00):
We're getting Sena in punk one last time, and this
is the main match scene he needed to do before
he turns baby face again.

Speaker 3 (46:07):
Yeah, you know what the right person for him to like,
all right, after this, I'm turning babyface. We'll be with
our truth. I think our truth needs to be in
this situation where like, I gotta humble John Zena to
the point where Zenas are like, you know what, I
gotta I gotta turn babyface. Now, that's how I see it.

Speaker 1 (46:28):
He could be as mister Miyagi. What like when Daniel
got down the wrong path in Karate Kid three, mister
was there to oh, oh my right back in the
right direction. Oh right right, it's still a bad movie.
But to get my drift, Yeah all right, but yes
we're getting Sena and Punk at Night of Champions.

Speaker 2 (46:48):
Cannot freaking wait.

Speaker 1 (46:49):
But as this segment was going on, at the end
of it, Seth Rollins came out with the money in
the bag and I held it up, you know, basically
teasing the fact that I could cash it in at
any time. And I gotta be honest. Yeah it Yeah,
like Rlin's in that green suit. The way he was looking,
he was looking like twenty Montana's henchman, or like one
of them, the.

Speaker 3 (47:07):
Way he was like, I like his suit he was wearing,
with all the wacky stuff that he's wearing. There were
certain things I was like, you know what, I dig
that I did what he's wearing. I love that I
wear that, but not not green, no, but in a
different color though, But I did that. But but yeah,
I thought it was this weird because I thought, like, oh,
I thought Seth Browns was gonna like cut a promo

(47:27):
too though, but no, that was it. I was like, oh,
he was just teasing.

Speaker 1 (47:29):
I was like, okay, yeah, but still a good segment regardless. Yeah,
I really enjoyed this segment between these two were perfect
way to start the show. And then as the show progressed,
we had aj Styles defeat Chad Gable in a really
solid match, and Yo, Chad Gable was banged up. He
had like tape on his arm, he had like tape
on his legs. Yeah, he was banged up from the

(47:50):
weekend he had.

Speaker 3 (47:51):
Of course, come on now he was in a brutal,
brutal money to be Ladder match. He got took one
hell of a spear from brown Breaker. Oh yeah, I
was surprised you to get look all bandaged up like
Squidward when he got stumb Botles Jellyfish. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (48:05):
I don't know if he was banged up from yeah,
like those matches he had, or if he hung out
with the Cup from the hangover over the weekend. Yeah,
because you know those dudes, if you hang out with them,
you're gonna be walking away with injuries for days, right,
All right, But anyway, Yeah, a stouts to be the
Chad Gable in the Solid match. And also what it
was revealed during Money in the Bank is this year
we're gonna be having the King and Queen of the

(48:27):
Ring tournament this year.

Speaker 3 (48:29):
Yes. And when I saw the the tournament trey right,
it was a bit weird because all right, so all
of them, all the categories right, both for the men
and the women, they're all fatal four ways in the
first round. I was like, what a fatal four But
I was like, oh, I was looking at the timing. Oh,

(48:50):
the Night of Champions is literally like, what a couple
of weeks away, so you need to speed up the
process with their with their matches and all that. I
was like, oh, okay, I get it. That first round
fatal four way and then you're in your semi final.
I was like, oh, I get it. I was like, okay,
it makes sense. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (49:08):
So we're gonna have the King and Queen of the
Ring tournaments taking place over the next few weeks, with
the finals for both the men's and the women's taking
place at Night of Champions, and the winner of both
tournaments get to face the champion of their respective brand
for the title at SummerSlam.

Speaker 3 (49:23):
Yes, same stipulation, just like last year. I was wondered
if they did, if they were gonna get the same stipulation.
They did good. I love it.

Speaker 1 (49:31):
And in the first of the women's first round matches,
we had a full way between Real Bloody Ripley, Live Morgan,
Roxane Perez, and Kyrie Zane and yo, this is a
good ass match on good ass match.

Speaker 3 (49:43):
A lot of near falls, my goodness.

Speaker 1 (49:45):
And the main story coming out of it was Live
Morgan and Roxane Perez kind of teaming up together throughout
it because like backstags before the match, like Roxanne was
trying to get on Live Morgan's good side, but Live
Morgan wasn't having it. But then during the match they
were teaming up. It was going well and then eventually
weo Ripley have the match one until Raquel Rodriguez's fine
ass came through and pulled her out of the ring,
so the two of them started brawling, and then they

(50:09):
were fighting outside of the ring, and then all of
a sudden, Kyrie Zane jumped off the top rope and
hit the Insane elbow one, so all of them knocked
them all down, and then Kyrie Zane hit Live Morgan
with the insane elbow and she had the match one,
but then Roxanne Perez interrupted the count and then she
rolled up Kyrie Zane and pinned her herself to win

(50:30):
the match and advance in the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Speaker 2 (50:35):
Good for her, genius genius finish, genius way to end
this match.

Speaker 3 (50:42):
Yeah, good for her though, man, this is she needed this, man.

Speaker 1 (50:46):
And yeah, I liked what happened backstage afterwards with like
when Finn and Dominic were like standing together with Jade
McDonough and then Roxanne Perez came through and then Finn
was like congratulating her, and then like Finn was trying
to get Dominic to congratulate her, and then Dominic was like, oh,
you did good out there, congratulations. And then right when
he said that, Live Morgan shows up.

Speaker 3 (51:06):
Oh it's always at the bad time, oh time.

Speaker 1 (51:11):
And you know this something is gonna build more tension
between Live and Roxanne because of the fact that even
though lived from being pinned, she won the match herself.
M yeah, so it's gonna get spicy between all these
damn people. And I'm here all for it. Get that
Vegan popcorn ready, and then we move on to the

(51:34):
men's qualifying match. We had a four way between Dominic, Mysterio,
bron Breaker, Sammy Zain and Penta. I love this match,
crazy ass match. My best friend al RACHMANI he was
watching you with me last night. He was pretty impressed
by some of the moves he saw, especially bron Breakers

(51:55):
Frankensteiner and Penta's Mexican Destroyer.

Speaker 3 (51:58):
Oh I love the Mexicans, Troyer love that move. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (52:04):
Yeah, but this match is pretty wild and crazy, and
it got to the point where bron Breaker at one
point was attacked outside the ring by La Knights, one
of the many attacks the Money in the Bank Ladder
match at La Knight laid him out outside the ring
with the plum forced trauma. After bron Breaker, It's Beard Penta.
And then this allowed Samy's Ain to take advantage of
Dominic and hit him with the Haluv kick to get

(52:27):
the win and Sammy's Ain advances in the tournament.

Speaker 3 (52:32):
Man, that that came out of nowhere. And you know what,
it's not a surprise that La Knight attacked bron Breaker
man because at all that chaos that happened on Saturday.
And but yeah, I was hearing rumors that eventually, potentially
that La Knight is going to get drafted raw and
if it is true, hey, I'm all for it because
this right here, we're sparking a few between La Night

(52:55):
and bron Breaker, and I loving them all for it
if it happens.

Speaker 1 (52:58):
Yeah, it's something new for him to do with something fresh.
It's a fresh show, fresh people to work with.

Speaker 3 (53:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (53:03):
If this means that he's moving a raw, I'm all
for too. Let's do it.

Speaker 3 (53:07):
Mm hmmm.

Speaker 2 (53:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (53:09):
So Sammy Zay and Roxanne Perez both advanced and we
have other qualified matches coming in the next few weeks.
And also we had the new women's in her Continental champion,
Becky Lynch, celebrating her cheap win over Labra Valkuria, trying
to make a case for herself about how like she
was trying to be the bigger woman, trying to be
the better woman, the inspirational woman, and then Labra just

(53:30):
attacked her, trying to act like the victim.

Speaker 3 (53:33):
I mean, wait a minute, now, she look she had
the well, I mean, come on, now, she lost.

Speaker 2 (53:42):
You can't even come up with an excuse yourself your struggle.

Speaker 3 (53:45):
No, no, no, no, listen, listen, she had her end
of the bargain. Okay, that was the deal. You won
the match, raise my hand.

Speaker 2 (53:58):
All over.

Speaker 3 (54:01):
Fair, so stay in her case.

Speaker 1 (54:06):
Okay, okay, But yeah, Becky was getting like all into
this and then Lyra came out to interrupt, and the
Liarry was furious.

Speaker 2 (54:12):
She was hot.

Speaker 1 (54:13):
But as Libray was walking towards the ring, out of nowhere,
Bailey shows up and attacks Becky behind, beating her ass.
Lyra's like all surprised, Like Lyra's all like a surprise
looking at all this go down, and then Becky's trying
to run away, but then she throws Becky back into
the ring and then Bailey starts beating her down some more,
and then Bailey tries to hit her with the rose plant,

(54:35):
but then Becky finds a way to escape runs out
of the ring and then Bailey like stands on the
top rope, you know, talking shit to her. And yeah,
Lybra looked confused throughout all of this. So it's great
that Bailey's back. But from what I saw from this,
it's like we're gonna get saw from this. Yeah, it's
looking like we're gonna get a three right program.

Speaker 3 (54:54):
And you know what, else the shows the shows that
the fact that Bailly attacked Becky Lynch, that it shows
that Becky Lynch was the one who took out Bailey
prior to Russell Mania.

Speaker 2 (55:07):
Becky already admitted that weeks ago.

Speaker 3 (55:10):
Oh maybe I missed Okay, damn I missed that part.

Speaker 1 (55:13):
Yeah, Becky, this isn't Jade carr Gill's attack from a
couple of months ago. Yeah, Becky already admitted it. So yeah,
of course Bailey was gonna come for that ass.

Speaker 3 (55:23):
But yeah, this is definitely towards a triple threat at
not a champions So I love. It's great to see
Bailey back, and.

Speaker 1 (55:31):
It was also it was great to see back because
our Truth is literally read. After this, Michael Cole and
Wade bar were talking at the announce table. Then all
of a sudden, the dude in the hoodie from Money
in the Bank showed up again at the announced table
and it was revealed once again it be our Truth.
And then he stands on the announced table talks about
how like you shouldn't let anyone ever tell you that
your voice doesn't matter or that you can't make a difference,

(55:54):
and he like thanks to crowd for like you know,
voicing their frustrations for his behalf. And then he talks
of about how our truth is great, but our truth
is too nice.

Speaker 2 (56:04):
He's so forgiving, but not me.

Speaker 1 (56:09):
And he talks about like, you know, people like playing
out his name or like doubting him or treating him
as a fool. And then as he's getting into this,
he literally takes out a pair of scissors. I thought
he was gonna be on some ricochet shit when he
took out the pair of scissors.

Speaker 2 (56:20):
But he wasn't doing it to be violent. He was
doing it.

Speaker 1 (56:25):
To cut off his braids.

Speaker 3 (56:28):
Cut off his braids, and to reveal that longer, I'm
no longer our truth, I'm wrong Killings.

Speaker 1 (56:35):
Now I am Ron Killings. I am the whole truth
and nothing but the truth. And you better respect and
put some respect on my name, right, oh man oh
man Son. I gotta say, in all the years he's
been in WWE, from his first one is you know
Kate Quick to the last seventeen years, that is the

(56:57):
best thing I have ever seen him do.

Speaker 3 (57:00):
The best promo you ever did, and we're I remember
seeing a video I think it was in his early
TNA days and how I was watching this segment and
I was like, oh my god, why is he not
like that? And he was very serious. You could take
this dude very seriously. I mean, he was a former
TNA world champion, right, and I was just watching his promo.

(57:23):
I was like, oh my god, why can't he be
like that? You know what I mean, Like, damn it.
The business needs to be looking at this, at this footage,
you'd be like, Yo, this is this is the version
of our truth that they need, and we're getting it.
This is good for him. We're gonna get a more
serious our truth now. This is what the our truth

(57:45):
that you know, most wrestling fans need. Like we've seen
the whole comedic role for the longest time, but hey,
we gotta gotta change it up, man, And I love it.
Run of Something Big, runa Something Big Man. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
It was great. Like he was just so menacing, so convincing.

Speaker 1 (58:03):
I just like heard him talk the whole time, and
I was just into it from start to finish. I'm like, Yo,
why did you not ever let this dude do this
years ago?

Speaker 2 (58:12):
Like, Yo, this dude can talk.

Speaker 1 (58:13):
This dude is like very captivating, and it's like, Yo,
he's good at the comedy stuff. Don't get me wrong,
he's good at that. But like, yo, in all these years,
you could not have let him do this just once.

Speaker 3 (58:23):
Hey, they're doing it now. And it goes back to
what I was saying. Now, he was doing this in
his early Tiena days and I said myself, like, this
is before he got released, right, And I'll say to
myself like, damn, why are they not doing this? Do
you know how much do you know like themnium that
he could have if he goes to this character. Don't

(58:44):
get me wrong, Like you said, man, the comedic stuff
was cool and all, but like, no, this right here,
this is him. This is what he needs to do.
And guess what he's doing it now. And I cannot
wait to see what's gonna happen in the future, man,
cannot wait.

Speaker 1 (59:00):
Just that visual of him cutting his hair like on
live TV in the middle of his promo, Like when.

Speaker 2 (59:06):
Have you ever seen that done before?

Speaker 3 (59:07):
Ever? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (59:09):
Shit was crazy. You could even see the people's reactions
in the crowd. They were shocked.

Speaker 3 (59:12):
Yeah, like what they're like what they're shocked? Like what
is he doing? And and all that stuff, and he's like, look, man,
look I did the whole comedic role and all that
stuff for the longest time and it was cool and all,
but no, I gotta do something different man.

Speaker 2 (59:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (59:25):
Maybe this is a part of his negotiations when he
be signed with him that he would be able to
go by the rhyn.

Speaker 3 (59:29):
Oh yeah, good good. It's time for a change. It's
time for a change.

Speaker 2 (59:34):
Good And I'm happy to see it.

Speaker 1 (59:35):
Man. Like Yo, that that segment with him last night
with Gold That's, like I said, that's the best thing
I've ever seen him doing WW in all the years
he's been there.

Speaker 3 (59:43):
Yeah. I can't wait for it, man, this is this
is gonna be good.

Speaker 1 (59:47):
Man.

Speaker 3 (59:47):
He's really he's really going to be pushed now.

Speaker 4 (59:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (59:50):
I think I think I seen another rematch with John
seen it down the line, possibly some stuff. Yeah, I'm
looking forward to this new era for Rod Killings. It's
gonna be great. If last night's nication m m. But
then we also had Nikki Bella making her return to
WWE since they were in Arizona. She's also from Scottsdale, Arizona.

(01:00:10):
That's not Phoenix, but it's still Arizona. The last she
came out not too far. Yeah, it came out, got
a nice reaction. This was her first appearance since the
World Rumble, and she came out to reveal that WWE
will be doing the Evolution Show next month in Atlanta,
July thirteenth.

Speaker 3 (01:00:26):
Yeah, I figured that that was a whole reason name
for her to be there to announce the you know,
the second annual Evolution Premium live event for the women,
which is good, which is awesome. They did very great
the first time. And yeah, she got a little backlash
for pronouncing Stephanie Vakira's last name wrong.

Speaker 1 (01:00:46):
Yeah, I mean we kind of have an issue with
pronouncing it sometimes also, But yeah, that one was really
put you at big time.

Speaker 3 (01:00:52):
Yeah, I mean it is what it is, man, I mean,
come on, this was the last time she cut, Like
it's been a long time since she you know, cut
a segment in the ring.

Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:01:00):
Yeah, she's talking about like, you know, how she may
have vented the first Evolution Show with Ronda Rousey and
talking about like all the women of today like you know,
Rio Ripley, Eo Sky, Piaca, et cetera. But then in
the middle of this live Morgan comes out to interrupt
like pissed off, like I've never seen her pissed off before,
talking about how you need to mention me when you
mentioned the greatest women of this era, you need to

(01:01:22):
mention my name and put some respect on it. And
like she gets in her face and she's talking about
how like, unlike you, I'm a champion, I have respect
and I have a man too. That was great, referring
to a divorce. Yeah. So, then like Nikki's talking about

(01:01:44):
how like she meant no disrespect and how she can
understand why it lives mad because of the fact that
she just lost. But then she says that she's confused
because you say you have a man, but is he
your man or is he rock Sannes man?

Speaker 3 (01:01:57):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (01:02:01):
And then she says, make sure to congratulate Roxanne for
me for taking your win away and also taking your
man away.

Speaker 2 (01:02:07):
And then as she's leaving.

Speaker 1 (01:02:08):
The ring live, Morgan says the money line, saying, you
can say all you want about me, but I'm still
a champion and you'll always be nothing more than a
reality show diva.

Speaker 3 (01:02:23):
Got her on that one.

Speaker 1 (01:02:24):
Yeah, So then obviously this sets off Nikki Bellos and
she tries to come back in the ring, but as
she tries to come back in the ring. Live Morgan
lays her Reality Diva ass out with the Oblivion and Yo,
the crowd went wild when she did that.

Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
I know, I lost my bad when that happened.

Speaker 3 (01:02:40):
I kind of get a feeling what we're gonna get
an evolution.

Speaker 2 (01:02:44):
Yeah, this is gonna be good.

Speaker 3 (01:02:45):
Yo.

Speaker 1 (01:02:45):
I really like this segment and in all honestly, Live
Morgan smoked her in this Live Morgan's intensity, her passion, Yo,
she was chilling it. Oh yeah, I had, Like I've
said before, I was concerned about like whether or not
she be able to maintain her momentum after she lost
the High But Yo, if anything, she's gotten better since
she's lost the title of a couple.

Speaker 3 (01:03:03):
Yeah, of course. I mean I wasn't really worried about
her when she lost to Time. I kind of knew
that she was gonna stay aflow, and she's staying aflow
due to the fact that you're the women's tag team
champion with Rokel Rodriguez and now this and then also
you know with the with Rox and peaz Gin involved
between you and Dominic Mysterio. Oh yeah, she's perfect, perfect.

Speaker 1 (01:03:26):
And she was just great on the mic in this segment,
and if anything, if they wanted to make Live Morgan
the heel and Nicky Bella the baby face in the storyline,
that did not work. That did not work because I know,
speaking for myself, there is no way in hell I'm
cheering for Nicky Bella over Live Morgan.

Speaker 3 (01:03:43):
Oh yeah, especially with the uh yeah with the yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:03:48):
So I'm thinking it could go either one or two ways.
It could be either Live and Niki in a one
on one match of Evolution, or it could be Living
Raquel defending the tag titles against Nicki and Breede.

Speaker 3 (01:04:01):
That's what I'm saying. I'm going with option B because
I mean, it wouldn't make any sense if you do
one on one. You can just believe Rakel Rodriguez out
at a event words for the women, you know what
I mean. So you want to get ro Kel Rodriguez involved,
not just outside but also in the match. So I
feel like doing a tag team matches is perfect, is
better than doing one on one.

Speaker 2 (01:04:22):
I'm good with either scenario, and it's funny enough.

Speaker 1 (01:04:25):
It was Brie Bella who gave Live Morgan that concussion
all those years ago during that six women tag.

Speaker 2 (01:04:29):
It was an accident.

Speaker 1 (01:04:30):
But she was like doing the Brian Danielson kicks and
then one of the kicks you hit are really hard
in the head.

Speaker 3 (01:04:35):
Oh okay, I see what you mean.

Speaker 1 (01:04:37):
Yeah, Like Rebella got like a lot of negative backlash
for that.

Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
Yeah, like really become a big thing. Okay, maybe they
could do a callback to that. I would not surprise
me if they did.

Speaker 3 (01:04:48):
I wouldn't be a surprised though. But I feel like
if you do a tag team match, I think I'd
be better because you could bring back the Bella Twins,
you know what I mean. Look look at that aspect.
You gotta remember, despite you know, of the personal backlash
that Nikki has been receiving. Though, you gotta remember, as
a tag team with Bella Twins, they're very you know,

(01:05:09):
they're you know, they're still likable, you know, back in
the day and still are. That will be a treat
to have them both to come back at that event
at Evolution.

Speaker 1 (01:05:20):
Hey, look, I'll say this myself, like the Bellows were
never really my favorites per se, but I realized that
they had star power and.

Speaker 3 (01:05:27):
They're always a favorite.

Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
Yeah, I realized they had star power.

Speaker 1 (01:05:30):
I realized that they did have a lot to offer,
and yeah, bringing them back for like the Evolution Show
to do attack team match like this.

Speaker 2 (01:05:36):
You know, I'm all for it.

Speaker 1 (01:05:37):
Yeah, will be great for the event, Yeah, definitely. So yeah,
we'll see what they build towards that in the next
few weeks. But in last night's main events, we had
a rematch from WrestleMania for the World Heavyweight Championship as
we had jay Usso with his son in his corner,
came out and did his entrance with him defending the
World Heavyweight title against the Ring General. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:06:03):
Great entrance by jay Usso coming out with his son.
I wish they would have did that for Russell Mane
if I'm being quite honest with you though, but it
is what it is. But yeah, great entrance, and man,
this match guther literally kind of it was literally back
and forth though, But man, you're looking at this match man,
the whole vibe and looked like Goother was just dominating

(01:06:27):
this match man, and you could just tell like, Bro,
it's Goom, They're gonna win this match. It looked like
he's just look, he meant what he said that that
title belongs to me, that's coming back to me. And
he was literally showing jay Usso and the whole world
what he meant.

Speaker 1 (01:06:46):
Yeah, jay Usso's like ribs were taped up from like
the you know, attack from Logan Paul at Champions also
the I'm sorry for money in the bank, also the
attack from Bronson Reid and bron Breaker last week. So yeah,
the story of this match basically that like, you know,
he was banged up, his ribs were taped up, and
he was wasn't percent. Guntu took advantage of it to
the majority of the match, but ja Uso came back

(01:07:08):
and eventually he hit gun Through with a spear and
the top of the splash.

Speaker 2 (01:07:12):
But even with all that, going through still kicked out.

Speaker 3 (01:07:15):
It wasn't enough. It wasn't enough. Even Guther, this is
this surprised me, Kurt, even Gunther spear jay us So,
he uses ja USO's own spear and he's speared ja Uso.
I didn't see that coming.

Speaker 1 (01:07:29):
Yeah, he used ja Usso's spear and then ja Uso
he was the sleeper on him again, but it did
not get him to tap out like it did in WrestleMania.
And then Gunther eventually trapped ja Uso in the sleeper himself, got.

Speaker 3 (01:07:42):
Him down on the mat and a lot of counters.
It was at one point, you know, Gunther had jaus
on his spirit and you know, you looked like ja
Uso is about to you know, look like I was like,
this is it. And then he counters it and he
does the sleeper on Gunther and Guther gets out of
it and he finally get it's the sleeper on jay Usso.

(01:08:02):
And then dude, when I saw that, I was like, dude,
there's this. I just knew it was over. Like there's
just no way.

Speaker 1 (01:08:09):
I just said to myself when it happened at that point,
like when going through had him in the sleeper, I
just said, it can't end this way. It's not gonna
end this way, is it.

Speaker 2 (01:08:17):
It's not.

Speaker 1 (01:08:17):
There's no way that Gunther's gonna just win the title
back like and then low and and then lo and behold.
Jay Usso passes out from the sleeper, the referee stops
the match, and Gunther regains the World heavyweight title.

Speaker 3 (01:08:32):
It just when I saw that, look, I don't know,
it's probably just with Guther and his matches, is like
when he does that sleeper, I'm in the back of
my mind I'm like already like, yeah, it's over, just
looking at their opponent physically, like when you go back
to his match against Pat McAfee and I was just like, yeah,

(01:08:54):
the first time he had on the on the sleeper,
I was like okay, no, Second time, third time, We're like, yeah,
it's it. There's no way. There's just no way. And
that's the feeling that I got when I was when
I watched this match. When I saw that sequence, it
was kind of like a part of me was like, dude,
they can't this is no jay Us is not gonna lose.
Come on. And then then and I saw that and

(01:09:15):
I was like, oh my god, yeah it's over. But
I was shocked.

Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
This was a huge surprise.

Speaker 1 (01:09:24):
I did not see this coming from a mile away,
like when they signed this match a month ago for
like a raw like the raw after money in the bank,
I thought jay Uss was going to retain or there
would be some kind of angle possibly of money in
the bank cashing, But no, going Through just wins the
title back clean farre and square h like that.

Speaker 3 (01:09:43):
And look, I'm not going to take anything away from Guther.
First of all, let's congratulate going Through forgetting the World
Headweight Championship for the second time. Right, great Champion. This
is my takeaway from this match on Jay Usso's part,
Listen to this Kurt. Ever since he's been a singles competitor,
he has held two titles. He held the Intercontinental title

(01:10:05):
and of course the World Heavyweight Championship. His Intercontinental Championship,
Rain Kurt was only what month was it thirty two days?

Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
A month? Yeah, like a month or so.

Speaker 3 (01:10:15):
Yeah. His World Heavyweight Championship Rain Kurt was only fifty
one days.

Speaker 1 (01:10:21):
Yeah, it's so crazy. I thought he was going to
be the champion til at least Summer Slam, but he
didn't even make.

Speaker 3 (01:10:25):
It that far exactly. And then when I see this Curt,
it concerns me because it's like them taking the title
off of Jay us So like this soon. It kind
of shows is there like a lack of confidence that
the company season him. Don't get me wrong, he gets
the fan appreciation and everything is just above top tier.

(01:10:50):
It is, though, but when I say confidence, like Mike's skills,
we have talked about that too. How about his Mike
skills gotten a little bit rep copetitive when, especially when
he's talking to Gunther in the ring. You know what
I mean, do you believe that there's a lack of
confidence in Jay Usso as a as champion?

Speaker 2 (01:11:11):
It's very possible.

Speaker 1 (01:11:13):
Like I'm like really trying to rack my brain and
really like kind of figure out like how it came
to this, because I mean, I feel like he's been
doing a decent job as champion. I feel like, you know,
he still gets the crowd reactions, the belt looks good
on him and whatnot. But yeah, I'm just like really
shocked that they like took the title off from this fast.
He didn't even the past two months.

Speaker 3 (01:11:33):
That's that's what I'm saying. And look, Kurt, I've never okay,
outside of Daniel Bryan because of an injury, right, I've
never seen a champion who won a championship at else
Slomania and then lose it like that soon. Bro. They
usually when you want a championship as Summer Slam, you
usually just get it towards either Summer Slam or pass it.

Speaker 1 (01:11:57):
Well, technically, Drew McIntyre won the title of Rustlemania last
or then lost it five minutes later.

Speaker 3 (01:12:01):
I mean, that's different. That's the difference in there, you know,
because of sem punk. That's different. But when you have
like you gotta remember jewels a heel, But when you
have a babyface that when's the title at manya? Look,
nine times out of ten, you're gonna either hold on
to that title till SummerSlam or if not, you know

(01:12:21):
how well you're doing, you're gonna keep it after like
Cody Roads for a prime example, you know what I mean.
But I don't know, man, that Interconinental title reign that
he had that surprised me on how short it was.
But this one, the World Heavyweight Championship. Dude, that fifty
one days? Wow? That It just I feel like there's

(01:12:45):
a confidence issue that the company has in them. Man.
It's just there's just something that like, I don't know now,
is Jay Who's still gonna go and chase after gun Through?
Of course? Of course I.

Speaker 1 (01:12:58):
Kind of see them having a match at Night of Champions.
I could definitely see going in that direction.

Speaker 3 (01:13:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:13:05):
I seriously thought like Goldberg was going to maybe show
up and cost him the time.

Speaker 3 (01:13:08):
Yeah yeah, yeah, we thought that too, or.

Speaker 1 (01:13:11):
Rollins was gonna cash in, but fuck, goin Through just
beat him just like that and won the belt.

Speaker 3 (01:13:16):
Bag Man, This is by far ever since they made
the move to Netflix. I have to say this is
by far the most surprising moment, most.

Speaker 2 (01:13:29):
Surprising moment and funny enough.

Speaker 1 (01:13:31):
This is the first time the titles changed hands on
Rossin's Biggie casting the Money in the Bank on Bobby
Lasty four years ago.

Speaker 3 (01:13:37):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (01:13:40):
Yeah, man, a huge surprise way to end the show.

Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
Going Through two time world heavyweight champion, and it looks
like going Through will be facing the winner of the
King of the Ring tournament at SummerSlam. And from going
Through winning last night and also the person who wouldvance
in the King of the Ring tournament last night, it
started to feel like that could be our potential Summer
Slam championship match. Yeah, so it's very possible that Sammy's

(01:14:06):
Ain could be.

Speaker 3 (01:14:07):
The one to win the King of the Ring and
then I'm honestly i am I'm picking him.

Speaker 1 (01:14:14):
Look, I'm sad that Jay we also lost the title.
Perhaps maybe he'll get it back again at some point,
or maybe this is just a story to like kind
of tell to kind of like get the people more
behind him. But are going through and Jay, I'm sorry,
are going through and Sammy's Ain story for the title
going into Summer Slam, Yo, I would love to see that.

Speaker 2 (01:14:30):
That'd be great.

Speaker 3 (01:14:31):
Oh hell yeah. And he's been talking about being the
champion for a while now, so yeah, yeah, they've.

Speaker 1 (01:14:36):
Been teasing that for the last few months. And yeah
for him to challenge Gunther the Manu de Throne for
the icing title last year WrestleMania, the world title at
a big event like Summer Slam, Yo, it's gold.

Speaker 3 (01:14:46):
Hey and you may be there, so yeah, I will
be there. So haven't got to have.

Speaker 1 (01:14:53):
I'm gonna get it this week. I keep meaning too,
but I don't get around to it. But I'm gonna
get it this week.

Speaker 3 (01:14:59):
But yeah, this is man. This is a surprising man.
Just fifty one days.

Speaker 1 (01:15:06):
Yeah, but taking nothing away from going through, I'm happy
that he has the belt back again, at least for
the time being.

Speaker 2 (01:15:11):
We'll see where it goes in the next few months.

Speaker 1 (01:15:13):
And going through even said afterwards when he got to
the back, there was nobody there waiting for him to
congratulate him or to say good Yeah, but he said
he liked it. He said he prefers it that way
because he doesn't need friends.

Speaker 3 (01:15:24):
Yeah, you know what, moving forward, to be prepared for
a big rent from Rakishi.

Speaker 1 (01:15:32):
Oh yeah, it's inevitable. Yeah, he's gonna be going off. God,
it's probably happening as we speak. We're probably gonna end
up finishing the show and then I'm gonna come across
that ranch.

Speaker 3 (01:15:42):
From Yeah, fifty one days, that's what he's gonna say, Yeah,
fifty one days.

Speaker 1 (01:15:50):
Yeah, he just had so much momentum going into WrestleMania
and then he had that big moment where he won
the title, and yeah, for it.

Speaker 2 (01:15:55):
To end this soon, fuck.

Speaker 3 (01:15:58):
Dude, And how much he How many times have you
defended the title? Is it? Blog?

Speaker 2 (01:16:04):
And Paul and that match with stuff Rains that ended
in a no contest.

Speaker 3 (01:16:09):
Geez dude, he has not had a clean title defense.
That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:16:20):
Yeah, I guess it kind of says wow pretty much
when you look at it that way, like when you
look back at his title ragin and even though it's
been short, that from how it played out, Yeah, they
really didn't have a lot of faith in him.

Speaker 3 (01:16:32):
I just I don't know what it is. Is it?
Is it the ring work, is it his mic skills?
Even though he has support from the fans that you
cannot can't go against that That's the probably the reason
why they're like, hey, we gotta you know, we gotta
give this guy the title. Let's let's play it out.
But when you look at his ring work and his

(01:16:52):
MIC skills a little bit, and like I said, you know,
his mike skill has gotten like a little bit repetitive,
especially with Gunther, I just I don't know, Like I
remember was the last week. I remember when they were
buff in the locker room, right when Gunther and j
were in the locker room talking, I don't know, just
like goother was just like carrying most of that segment,
like he was saying most of how he felt and

(01:17:13):
he felt what he said. But when Jay talks, it's
like I'm not really getting much out of him. I guess,
I don't know how. I don't know if you feel
that way, I guess that's how I feel.

Speaker 1 (01:17:23):
Yeah, I think in some of his promos leading up
to WrestleMania was pretty convincing, especially that when after going
through attack Jimmy.

Speaker 3 (01:17:30):
No, that was Yeah, that was a convincing one. But
like that was that was a good one. There was
one two weeks ago.

Speaker 1 (01:17:35):
There was like one two weeks ago where it seemed
like Jamibe forgot some of his lines and then like
he kind of he kind of relied on the full
four letters, one word yeats stuff. So maybe that might
have suaded their decision, who knows. But yes, very strange
that he lost the titles so soon. But at least
he can say that he won the Royal Rumble and

(01:17:57):
won the title WrestleMania and at least got to say
he had a title ring because a lot of people didn't.

Speaker 2 (01:18:02):
Even have that, I know.

Speaker 3 (01:18:05):
Yeah, yeah, I can't take that away from it, all right, but.

Speaker 1 (01:18:08):
Yeah, there's definitely spices things up going into the summer.
A lot can happen in these next few months, especially
from what we saw last night. It definitely gives you
that uh realization that anything can happen on these shows.

Speaker 3 (01:18:21):
Anything that's been that's been the whole motto, in the
mantra of this company for years, even before you were born.
Anything could happen in this business, and.

Speaker 1 (01:18:32):
It happened last night. So yeah, last night's Row was
an incredible show, even better than Money in the Bank was.
And yeah, one of the best raws of the whole year,
the best raw of the whole year besides the raw
after WrestleMania and also the Raw where Eo Sky beat.

Speaker 2 (01:18:46):
Rio Ripley for the title.

Speaker 3 (01:18:48):
Yeah. Look like I said, man, I feel like the
RAS's product is actually decent. I like it. That's why
I tune in every Monday, you know what I mean.
I don't know why a lot of people say good,
but like I don't know, you're probably saying I'm seeing
something that you're not. Probably guys, and like I said,
if you don't like it and stop watching it though,

(01:19:09):
But me personally, I like what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (01:19:12):
Yeah, Rob for the most part is still pretty good.
SmackDown will be better, mainly because Smackdowns three hours, so
it feels like it drags all the time, and apparently
they're gonna they're not gonna.

Speaker 3 (01:19:22):
Pull off of that. They're gonna stay on three hours unfortunately.

Speaker 1 (01:19:25):
Yeah, it came out a few weeks ago that they're
gonna stay three hours for the foreseeable future because realistically,
USA doesn't have anything else in that third hour to
replace SmackDown with that with good A ratings as SmackDown.

Speaker 3 (01:19:36):
Oh man, they need to come up with some new shows, man.

Speaker 1 (01:19:39):
Yeah, because to be honest, to be honest, other than SmackDown.
The only show they have that people watch regularly is
like Law and Order SVUI runs.

Speaker 3 (01:19:47):
Yeah, I don't know. They gotta come up with some
new shows, man. I think the at that I remember,
like a few years ago, several years ago, other than
Raw that I watch on USA. I remember Queen of
the Off came on USA a lot, so I was
watching that.

Speaker 2 (01:20:03):
They had Queen of the South. They had that show Suits.

Speaker 1 (01:20:05):
I think they had that other show with those two
people who got in trouble for like brouting the government
out of millions of dollars and they went to prison,
Chris and Christie or.

Speaker 2 (01:20:14):
Some shit like that.

Speaker 3 (01:20:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:20:17):
But yeah, apparently they don't have those kind of shows
anymore that people would want to watch.

Speaker 2 (01:20:21):
All they have is really WW.

Speaker 1 (01:20:23):
So now we're stuck with three hour smackdowns for the
seeable future.

Speaker 3 (01:20:27):
Damn, come on, USA, pick it up, man, get it
another show on your time slot. Man.

Speaker 1 (01:20:32):
Yeah, we'll see what happens with that. But WW officially
announced during Money in the Bank that WrestleMania forty two
will be returning to Las Vegas for the second straight year.

Speaker 2 (01:20:41):
Oh it's official.

Speaker 3 (01:20:45):
Yeah, not too usually, and it's kind of sad. And
I'm saying is usually every year I'm kind of oh, awesome, great,
But this year, Kurt, Yeah, it's gonna take me a
while for me to get over it. But I'm just
I'm not, like I said. I even told my girlfriend
the other day about what happened. I told him, like,

(01:21:05):
I wasn't pleased about the decision that they made.

Speaker 1 (01:21:10):
Yeah, it's a little weird they did it the way
they did.

Speaker 3 (01:21:12):
You don't do that.

Speaker 1 (01:21:13):
I might still go as long as I can afford it.
I might still go, especially considering I didn't get to
go this year. But yeah, really weird way they went
about doing it.

Speaker 3 (01:21:22):
Not well, unprofessional. That's the one thing I have to say, Yeah, unprofessional,
because my girlfriend didn't understand it, and I specifically told her. Look,
they made the decision that next year it will be
in New Orleans, and then you literally what a month
or two months later, you're like, oh, well, we're not

(01:21:43):
going to have it there anymore, because you know, we
made a lot of money in Vegas. Well wait a minute, now,
you're pretty much saying New Orleans can't do that. They've
done that in the past on two separate occasions, and
you already made a decision that you were going to
have it there next year, you're going to take it
away from from them because of money. I didn't. I
didn't like it. It was unprofessional, clown ass ship.

Speaker 1 (01:22:05):
Hate to be around that ship. Shout out to Big.

Speaker 3 (01:22:08):
Look, I'm not saying it's ww's idea. I'm quite sure
they weren't happy about the decision too. But you got
to remember this is all on t KO. They were
the one who like played a hand in it.

Speaker 2 (01:22:20):
And you know what's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:22:21):
I was actually had that bar watching Money in the
Bank on Saturday, and during Money in the Bank, that
was showing the UFC fight on some of the other
TVs and guests who showed up during the UFC fight,
like like as the as a like as a guest celebrity,
like a person like coming to watch like fights. H. No,

(01:22:45):
Triple H was at Money in the Bank.

Speaker 2 (01:22:46):
You couldn't be there.

Speaker 3 (01:22:49):
Damn. It was Trump really Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:22:53):
And he got a standing ovation too.

Speaker 3 (01:22:55):
I don't even care.

Speaker 1 (01:22:56):
I even heard some of the people in the bar
cheering from I'm like, okay, maybe I need to get
out of here now. Yeah, you see what's going on
with the whole ice protests in La R.

Speaker 3 (01:23:04):
Yeah. Yeah, every course, that's come on. That's that's the
that's headline news. That's the come on. Everybody knows about that.
And I'm not happy about it.

Speaker 1 (01:23:16):
And anybody out there who would sniche on these people
to the police or the authorities to get them deported.
Anybody who would do that, You're a piece of ship
as far as I'm concerned, I I'm not.

Speaker 3 (01:23:28):
Happy about it. This country was founded on welcoming everybody
from the world, you know what I mean. To take
that freedom, the rights to live here, you know what
I mean. Look, if you came here legally or whatever,

(01:23:49):
we'll just you know, find a way to get some centitionship,
just do it, you know what I mean. But to
take their freedom away, their rights, a way of living
in this country which was built on freedom and the
constitution law, that they take that away from him is
just is disgusting to me. With all the riots that
I'm seeing or protests and the violence that I'm seeing

(01:24:12):
in La and it is just man, you know, all
my friends on social media or that's all they're talking
about right now. Man, it's just it's sad.

Speaker 2 (01:24:19):
Yeah, it's very sad.

Speaker 1 (01:24:20):
We've been seeing like a lot of this go on
for years and if you're happy to see like, you know,
innocent people like taking from their families, taking from their
children or whatever, and like put in detention centers and
putting these like prisons where they have no access to anyone,
without any do process. You know, you are the lowest
form of scum I've ever come across. Yeah, it's discussing,
you know, whether you're Republican, whether you're a Republican, Democrat,

(01:24:42):
left right, whatever. Seeing that happens that anybody should upset you.

Speaker 3 (01:24:48):
Yeah, And you know's what's it's what makes it worse.
We're kind of like embarrassing ourselves because like I don't
see other countries doing stuff like this, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 2 (01:24:57):
Canada doesn't do this ship as far as I know, right.

Speaker 3 (01:25:01):
Or any other country, you know what I mean. It's
just like we're kind of revert. We should embarrass how
we do things about you know, racism and then also
economy wise and you know, political climate, health health wise
and all that stuff. And you go to these other countries,
it's like they have it like they're more structured than us.

(01:25:23):
And it's like, dude, I've heard people where they they'll
go to like Japan and then they'll come back to America.
I was like, man, like do Japan is way more
structured than America and all this, and you know education
too though, let's not forget about that education. You know.
It's just it's sad. We should like we just we

(01:25:45):
look bad when we do stuff like this. Man, it's embarrassing.
We shouldn't even be like that. We're in the United
States of America. We should be not necessarily being better
than other countries, but we should be leading by example,
you know what I mean, because of the rights and
the freedoms that we have in this country.

Speaker 1 (01:26:04):
Or at least we should have, but apparently certain people
want to take some of those rights away.

Speaker 2 (01:26:11):
And fuck those people.

Speaker 3 (01:26:12):
I mean that when I say that we have that,
it's in the Constitution. When you look at the Constitution,
it states the freedoms and the rights. But it's like
we're going against it. Bottom line.

Speaker 1 (01:26:23):
Yeah, it's been a sick, sick game they've been playing
for years, and more of us need to speak up
against the sick game and fight it back against this
sick game, and hopefully there'll be some chance to change.
All right, But I think we've said what we needed
to say today. My brother, is anything else you want
to get into?

Speaker 3 (01:26:41):
Nothing much, man, you know, I'm just I can't wait.
I'm looking forward to how the rest of the King
and quint Ring tournament are going to go down, and
the build up leading up tonight the champions and also
the build up between seeing Puck and John Zena and
I cannot wait for that. And when that comes, me
and Kurt will give you the news that you need
to hear. And that's all I got to say about that. Oh, Also,
