Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yo, yo yo, what is going on in my fellow
wrestling fans? Welcome to a brand new week and welcome
to a brand new, brand new, busy ass week of
wrestling edition of what we like to call the Clash
of Champions, where we dive headfirst into all the controversy, storylines, personalities,
and everything in between that's center around this world we

(00:22):
know and love as professional wrestling for better or worse. SI,
I'm your host, the vegan you believe in Conscious Kurt
aka kerk gpt aka spread Hum. It's not hate in
the flesh as always, and my co host needs no introduction,
but the hell with it, He's gonna give y'all one anyway.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
That's right, Ladies and gentlemen, this is Jonathan Randall, his
tag team partner The Adventure himself, and welcome to our
wrestling podcast, our soap opera that we love to call
professional wrestling, Ladies and gentlemen, And yes, we do have
a very very busy wrestling weekend. We got a w Also,
we have NXT Great American Bash. Plus we have Saturday

(01:01):
Night's main event and that last but not least, we
have the Evolution All Women's Event All in Atlanta. We
have NXTWWE and this in Atlanta, and also we have
the All in aw Show as well. Man, we have
one hell of a weekend and we're gonna get to
the bottom to it. Kurt, I see rocking the sunglasses.

(01:23):
You're following my lead.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yeah, I figured i'd switch it up a little bit,
and hey, I look pretty damn good. I can't lie.
I'm giving off like some Johnny Cage Johnny Cage type vibes.
That's kind of what I'm feeling right now.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
So I can't wait for that Moral Kombat Too movie
to come out later this year. I kind of heard
some good things about it.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Yeah, we'll see how it goes. Hopefully it is good.
Hopefully this Supermad movie is good that comes out this weekend.
That everybody's complaining it's too woke and like too progressive.
I heard the Undertaker even complaining about it on Fox Moves.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
About that movie.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Really, Yeah, the Undertaker was on Fox Moves be viewed
about it and he was talking about how like it's
too woke, it's too like liberal, I guess, or some
nonsense like that. Yeah, everybody's becoming like to them sensitive
about these movies. Can't just enjoy these movies go out,
watch them in and just have a good time. Yeah,
like point out, like all the political messages, all the

(02:18):
political propaganda and the movie and you can't even enjoy yourself.
Shit is mad, wax Son, Just like those disclaimers that
come up on the screen before Russhower starts nowadays.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Yeah, which is stupid. Yeah, I forgot about that. We
have a busy movie month, like we mentioned in the
last week's episode, in a busy wrestling We don't even
know where to begin.

Speaker 1 (02:38):
Well, let's begin with AW all in Texas, because I
feel like the basis of this whole weekend being as
packed as it is is because of that. Because let's
be honest, WW only really stacked all the amount of
shows into this weekend as they did just to stick
it to AW. I mean, anybody in their right mind
can see that from a mile away. WW. You can

(02:59):
deny it all they that AW is competition. They can
say all they want that AAW is like a distant
number two. They don't care about them, They're not thinking
about them, but their actions, just like this tell a
different story exactly.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Actionly speaks louder than words. This is not the first
time that WW has done this before, you know, so
you know, like you were saying, you know, like they
say that they don't care, they're not competition. Well, what
you're doing putting all these events all within a week
a weekend when you have AW going on that that
says a lot. And I think the with the timing

(03:36):
with this Evolution All Women show, it's short timing and
you had at all these matches on there, I don't know,
it's a bit rushed, you know, they should have tooken
their time. Maybe you know, put on a different later date.
I guess, but I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
Man. Yeah, and on top of that, Summer Slam still
a few weeks away. They still got to build for
Summer Slam too, And yeah, they barely gave any build,
any attention to this damn Evolution show. I mean, look,
the card still looks good. I think it'll still be
a good show in the end, But as far as
the attendance goes and the attention that givens of building
it up, it's been pissed. Poor Son and WW. They

(04:14):
deserve credit for all the good things they do and
all the good ideas they have, but they also deserve
to be called out for the bad ideas and the
places where they slip up.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
And I agree, And there's one particular match on that
card where I don't believe it should be on that list.
They should have waited and hold out for Summer Slim.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
But we'll get to that later, yes, But yeah, we'll
get into Evolution and some of the issues they're having
with that show with selling tickets. But before we do that,
let us break down some of the card for aw
All in Texas, which should be taking place Saturday from Arlington,
Texas and it will take place at three o'clock in
the afternoon, and NXT's Great American Bass Show is coming

(04:51):
on at the exact same time.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
What a coincidence?

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Oh yeah, they're not competition, right, They're not anything you
should be stressed about. We don't care about aew sure,
we don't.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Got to pick your poison at some point, but hey,
guess what this was just like in the nineties, Monday
Night Wars pretty much Rawling NATCHEL pretty much came on
around the same time simultaneously, So you got to pick
your poison or you just watch both.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
But hey, all right, But for aw All in Texas,
I want to get into some of the major matches.
One of the big match is going to be a
tag team match hitting the Young Bucks against will Osprey
and Swerve Strickland, and the stipulation goes as follows. If
the Young Bucks lose, they have to step down their
executive roles in ADW But if Swerve and will Asprey lose,

(05:43):
they can't get a shot at the aw Championship for
the next.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
Year for the next year. That that's something I never
heard of. Usually when you have that stipulation, you can't
get a title shot at all or whenever that person
is the champion. So that's the first I never heard
anything like that before.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Yeah, so for one year straight they won't get a
title shot, either one of them if they lose that match.
So with that being the stipulation and considering the Young
Bucks has been very logan Paul like over the last
year with throwing their weight around on screen, I have
to say this is time for them to get their
come up in and I think Osprey and for a

(06:21):
pick up the win, but just one morning, because we're
of Strickland this Saturday. When they do win that match,
do not mention Booker t because you're going to be
in his home state. So no fuck Booker t comments
or any of that nonsense.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
He ain't gonna be good enough to do that. And also,
this is what most likely will be the middle of
the card. This is like a mid card show, you
know what I mean. So they're not going to have
the time for him to do that if he wanted to.
And when he did that, this was like at the
end of the show, when the show went off here. Yeah,
So I'm just saying, yeah, he better not do anything

(06:56):
stupid like that, like you gotta grow up. And this
is one of the problems where I kind of like,
does it rost me off the wrong way about him
when you do that? Just stop? Please?

Speaker 1 (07:06):
Yeah. But in any event, I think it'll be a
great match. But I do think Asprian Sword will pick
up the win be a good look for them and
then they can possibly compete for the title in the
coming months. But we'll get into that in a few minutes.
And in one of my main matches I'm looking forward
to the most on this show for the ae W
Women's Championship, it is finally happening. Timeless Tony Storm will

(07:28):
defend her Women's Championship against the TBS champion, the Owen
Art Cup winner, and whatever five other titles she has
Miss Kenny Omega in the flesh, that's right, I'm talking
about none other than Mercedes.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
Mone You mean Mercedes Hogan.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
Well, she's basically she was talking about like recently, I
think she was like doing like a chat with like
the people and whatnot on line, and she were saying,
don't call me Mercedes Hogan, call me Mercedes Omega, referring
to the amount of titles she has.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Yeah, she's a championship hog, gold hog with all those belts.

Speaker 1 (08:06):
Well, I can see how it comes off that way,
but realistically, I think it's like the promotions that like
book her to win those titles. I mean, I don't
know if she has like any saying it or whatnot.
It's possible that she does. But more than anything, it's
the promotions that like pick her to you know, hold
their title. And with that being said, it's smart business
because she's on TV every week, she's a big star whatnot.

(08:28):
So her coming out like on Dynamite every week or
Collision every week, or the PLS holding their championship, it
gives them a lot of exposure.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
That is true. That is good. So it's a business promotion.
It is good for business when you're doing that. Man,
it's so much heat by doing it though, but hey,
you are it's good for business when you're doing that.
So I, you know, personally, personally, I have my you know,
opinions about her and just kind of sums this stuff

(08:58):
like rusts me off the wrong way just a little bit.
But in the ring again, deny you cannot deny her
talent just you know, the same thing when she was
with w E. But this is gonna be a great match.
Is one of the most anticipated matches on this card.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
This is the biggest women's match I think in aaw history,
Like when I really think about it and the six
years this company's existed, this is the biggest match Women's
wives that they've ever done. And just considering how unlikable
and unpleasant Mercedes Money comes off on screen, I don't
know where off screen. I've heard stories, but I don't
know where enough off screen to have an opinion. But

(09:33):
as far as the way she comes off on screen,
how obnoxious and unlikable she comes off, as I'm hoping
and praying that she gets her ass kicked at AWD
and timeless Tony Storm hands her her first loss and
aaw and retains her championship and shuts her big mouth
up for good.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Oh I love to see that too. How long How
long has Mercedes Money been in a company? Now?

Speaker 1 (09:59):
What?

Speaker 2 (09:59):
A year? Year and a half?

Speaker 1 (10:01):
Over a year she's been in the company. Over the year,
she's never lost, never been pinned once.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
No, I think, yeah, this will be the good opportunity
to do, the right occasion and place to do it.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
But God forbid, if she ends up winning this match
and she has like another title and like she ends
up the a W champions who it's then.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Out to be the female fanos, She's gonna be the
female fanos.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
If that happens, God forbid, then I'll have some suspicions about, like,
you know, how much creative pool she has and how
much stroke she has and all.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
That has Mercedes Hogan, Yeah, because.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Because that's the thing that's becoming now, is that, like, Yo,
it's great that she's you know, accomplishing so much and
putting women's wrestling on the map and all that good stuff.
I get it, But it just comes to the point
when she wins these titles, these titles become meaningless because
she has so many of them, Like when she won
the owen Hard Cup Tournament back in May. It's kind
of like, yo, it's good accomplish that, but yeah, like

(10:57):
the owen Hart Cup Tournament, it just like felt like
just another trophy for as opposed to something special, like
it would have felt if somebody else wanted.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
And I saw that for something like for new upcoming superstars,
kind of like the King of the Ring, you know
what I mean. It's like if you are a wrestler
that has so much stuff on your resume and you
know so much going for you, it's like you don't
really need it. It's really more deserving for the people
who are up and coming.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Yeah, exactly. And even Cody Roads winning King of the
Ring I didn't really think was necessary. I mean, it
is what it is, but I mean that personally, well.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
They did that, true, I mean, but they only did
that so they could, you know, start Xena Versus Roads
part two, you know what I mean. So that was
the whole point of it, you know what I mean.
So when we all had our our hopes and hearts
set on Sammy's ain't winning it at all.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Yeah, but we're getting too Sammy's in a little later,
but yes, I'm hoping that time is Tony Storm whoops
that ass some Mercedes mone this Saturday and humbles her
ass like she needs to be humbled and retains.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
A humble pie. Yeah, humble pie. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
And no, I'm not against black women. No, I don't
have a vmbetta against black women because I know some
people will try to push that narrative by what I'm saying.
But if somebody's if somebody is that unlikable, that unpleasant
and makes it that hard for you to roof for them,
they deserve to be criticized for it.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Look, I'm sorry to get off the topic though, but
I was on social media the other day. I've been
hearing hearing a lot of Tiffany Stratton hate. As a way,
I just don't know what's the whole point. Oh yeah,
something Flair interview.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
No no, no, no, no. There was an incident a
few weeks ago where Tiffany Stratton said to like a
black fan like you better watch it, boy or something
like that. So like now everybody's thinking that she's racist.
And also that came up there was another clip that
came up from SmackDown last week where she was like
high fiving the fans and she skipped the one black
kid that put their hand out apparently really Yeah, some

(13:00):
footage came out of that, so like people are like
saying that she's racist. Now, mm, I don't know. It's
probably probably something people are trying to dig too deeply into,
but who knows. I don't know the girl. I don't
know the girl. She possibly could be racist, but I
can't say for sure because I never fucking met her.
But regardless, like I said, I'm pushing for time this

(13:23):
Tony Storm to pick up this win. I still think
it'll be a great match. But yeah, it's just some people.
Even I felt the same way about Roman Reigns during
his title reign. Eventually, you want to see them get
their come up and and it's time for Mercedes Mooney
to get hers in Texas. Yes, So on to the
main events for the AW World Heavyweight Championship. We have

(13:45):
John Moxley, who's held this damn title hostage for the
last nine months to the point where the show's almost
become unwatchable in certain cases, defending the title against Hangman
Adam Paige cool.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
I feel like I feel like John Mox He's always
been the champion, just like forever, Like you know, if
I were just a randomly tune into AUW, He's like
always the champion. Like I turn around, Oh there he is.
He's always a champion, you know what I mean. So,
and that last time when he won, when he won
the title like months ago, I felt like, did he

(14:19):
really needed to win? It? Was it really that necessary?
Kind of like with Mercedes Monet, is it really that necessary?
I feel like along with Mercedes Monet, you're gonna get
your come up into your humble pie. And yeah, I
think it's been a long time since Adam Page has
been championed. I think the last time he was champion

(14:41):
was double or nothing back in twenty twenty two when
I when I attended in Vegas, that was what three
years ago once c mpunk beat him, Yeah that night
three years ago. Well, I'll be damn well. I think
it's time to have a new have a new champion.
I think Adam Page does it.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Yeah. I'm having a feeling that this match will probably
play out like Avengers Endgame, kind of like the way
the Roman and Cody match played out last year was
like a whole bunch of interference shenanigans from like John
Moxley's crew, like Cassanole and all those guys, and also
will Ospree and Swerve will probably get involved to It's
gonna be a whole crazy thing and ultimately, fingers crossed,

(15:24):
it will lead to hang Matt Adam Page finally dethroning
John Moxley, putting this damn Reign of Terror title rain
to an end, and being the new a W champion,
and we'll finally actually get to see the physical belts
again because John Moxley's kept that belt in a bag
and kept it away from everybody since he won it.

Speaker 2 (15:42):
Ah. Hell no, see, I don't like that. No, no,
we need we need to see the title switch hands.
This is blastoming. Yeah, blastomos, ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
I thought Whole Cogan kept the WW title hostage in
nineteen ninety three, but it's nothing compared to what John
Moxley's been doing since last October.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
It's funny. It's funny how you mentioned Rain of Terror.
I think aw's finally had their own, their version of
the Reign of Terror. That's just nine months and you
don't even have showed the title to anybody.

Speaker 1 (16:09):
And I'm gonna be honest, you really need to win
the title.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
It's horrible, and.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
I'm going to be honest. The roots of me like
losing interest in AW and like watching it every week,
Like when I stopped watching it regularly. It all started
when that title rain started almost a year ago.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Wow. Well, you know what. I like this card, ladies
and gentlemen, and I love the fact that they're having it,
you know, of course in the stadium show in Texas.
This is this is a great card with a lot
of great matches on it. You know, lately I've been
turned off by AW. But looking at this card, Kurt,
I would like to tune in and watch it. Tell
our viewers, Kurt, the date and where you could watch

(16:46):
it in time.

Speaker 1 (16:48):
You could watch it this Saturday at three o'clock on
any service you used for pay per view, whether that
be Fight TV or any of those streaming services. You
just got to pay fifty bucks to watch it. I'm
hoping they show WIT at a bar here in New
York City, like the way they show the other wrestling
events I've gone to at bars in the recent months.
I'll try to go to one of those and watch it,
but if not, I might cough up the fifty bucks

(17:08):
and just watch it. Yeah at okay, Yeah, because I
haven't paid for an AW pay per view since Yeah
last all in in August of last year, the one
in London where Brian Danielson won the title, So I
would definitely be willing to cough up the fifty bucks
for this one. Yeah. It's their biggest show of the year.
This is the first time they're doing it in the States,
as opposed to London the last two years at a stadium,

(17:29):
So yeah, I'm looking forward to seeing what it looks like,
the whole vibe of at the setting of it. Yeah,
this is basically their WrestleMania.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
You know what, if I have to be honest fattitudes
between AAW and this NXT show, no offense at NXTMWWE,
but I'll tune in for AW.

Speaker 1 (17:47):
Oh yeah, goes without saying, man, it's an NXT show.
No in disrespect to NXT, but yo, this is aw's
biggest show of the year in a stadium.

Speaker 2 (17:55):
Yeah, it's gonna be And I know look and I
love the fact how a W there you know how
I bring back the old pay per view names like
Halloween have became a great American Bash and X yeah,
NXT sorry when NXT brought back those names for their
for their pl e's, I love that, you know what

(18:15):
I mean, But I get it. It's a great American
Bash though, But this is not at the level of
this All In show for AW.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
No, it's not, and it's gonna blow it out of
the water. We can all see that from a mile away.
And yeah, I do have high hopes for All In.
Hopefully they keep the card with a respectable amount of
matches opposed to loading it up too many matches, because
that's a big complaint with aw's pay per views, is
that they're too freaking long. And I love wrestling as
much as the next person, but too much of anything

(18:47):
can be a bad thing, no matter how much you
like it.

Speaker 2 (18:50):
Hey, what's the old saying? Not too much is enough?

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Exactly?

Speaker 2 (18:58):
Yeah, like w W music, that's with music, I think
anywhere past I think the minimum for a album twelve tracks.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Yeah, that's a respectable amount.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
I think anywhere above that is a bit too much.
I've seen some albums what it is over damn near
twenty or thirty songs on it. Bro that says too many,
but split it up. That's the same thing how I
feel about wrestling, especially if it's like the length of
the show. If it's like damn near past like four
like four hours, it's like, dude, that's too long.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Yeah. A lot of their pay per views were like
and like after midnight, like twelve thirty at night. Yeah,
it's too much. Son. Yeah, Like I'll use like an
album example, like one album that's great, but it's just
too long and you feel every minute of it. It's
Wu Tang's Wu Tang Forever album. Great album, but you
just feel every single last minute of it. Like it

(19:55):
definitely feels like a long album because.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
It is, well, you're that album came out, like look
it up, all right.

Speaker 1 (20:08):
But anyway, Yeah, so I do have hangman Adam Page
winning the aw Championship for the second time. It'll be
a big celebration in a big stadium. It's yeah, I
know he's not from Texas, he's from Virginia, but you know,
the Texas cowboy vibes has been in with it perfectly,
so yeah, they could have a celebration. The cast of
Unforgiven can come through and celebrate with them and all that. Yeah,

(20:28):
it'll be a whole big thing.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
So i'd easily tell that's your favorite Western, isn't it.

Speaker 1 (20:33):
My favorite Western is actually Jangle.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
Oh okay, okay, okay, mine's Tombstone. But I've never sad it.
I've never watched Unforgiven.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Yeah, I remember. I watched Tombstone recently because you told
me to.

Speaker 2 (20:46):
Oh you did.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Yeah, it was good. I got watch like it. I
liked it. I gotta I gotta watch it again because
there was parts of it I kind of dozed off during,
but I did like it good.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
I love that. I love the movie. I love the characters. Man,
it's all those characters, Man, Doc Holiday and that madness.
Val Kilmer did a damn good job in that movie
that I'm telling you, dude.

Speaker 1 (21:09):
And hopefully aw does a great job with this show
they put on this Saturday. And I have to say
the product has been a lot better in the last
few months. I've been working hard to like, actually pay
more attention to it recently, Like you know, actually watch
Dynamite on Wednesday nights, or if I don't watch it live,
I try to catch the highlights on YouTube, and from
what I've seen, it's been a lot better. The show
has definitely gotten a lot better.

Speaker 2 (21:29):
Good.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Yeah, and they're running smaller venues, so that's also a plus.
Like the arenas don't like look half empty like they
used to and all that jazz. Hopefully. Yeah, they stay
on this trajectory and then they can get better as
time goes on, and you know, they can regain some
of that momentum they had before you know, everything fell apart.
Ye action, all right, So in the afternoon we do

(21:51):
have aw all in taking place from Texas, but Saturday
nights from my old neck of the woods of Atlanta, Georgia,
we have Saturday nights main events.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
And you know, you always say that this is like
the you know, it's like a house show, but on
a grander scale because it's on NBC. This is NBC's
flagship wrestling show for before we were born, Kurt, you know,
so they always got to show out. You always got
to put your big matches on there to get viewership.

(22:22):
And man, there's one surprising match on this card that
kind of just surprised me out of nowhere that I'm
speaking of ladies and gentlemen is Randy Orton and a
returning Drew McIntyre.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Yes, Drew McIntyre returned this past Friday on SmackDown. It
confronted Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes, and Randy Orton welcomed
him back by laying his ass out with an RKO.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
Yeah. I before McIntyre return, you know, Orton was giving
Cody his flowers, but he was also you know, taking
ownership of his mistakes, and you would think that, oh,
he was going to turn heel, but it kind of didn't.
I think I think his he'll turn is kind of
on a maybe postponed for now since he's gonna have

(23:04):
this match with ju McIntyre.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Yeah, and also I don't think he turns here before
Summer Slam. If he does turn here, he turns here
after Summer Slam. But I definitely still see it coming.
But as far as this match with him and drewet
Saturday night's main event since the Future started, I see
it a squalification or non disputed finish and the feud
continues beyond.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
That same same I see that too.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
And I think this is the match we get at
SummerSlam too. M So yeah, considering that this future started
a week ago, and yeah, it's a Saturday Night's main event.
You know, the feud's not going to be settled there. Yeah,
something's gonna go down where there's no like you know,
set winner and the few continues from there. So I
do have probably Rady Jordon winning by the qualification, yes,

(23:51):
And in another match, we have the Megastar, the Superstar
La Knights going one run with mister wacky ass Outfits and.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
Seth freaking before I even go into that match. Paul Haymon,
the Oracle as he is called now since last this
past Money on Raw he is really is truly the
goat of wrestling managers because that dude was spitting some
Spanish game that night that came out of nowhere. That

(24:25):
was this. It like, whoa, Paul Haven's speaking Spanish?

Speaker 3 (24:28):
What what?

Speaker 2 (24:31):
Not? Once but twice? Thats just wild. Wow.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
This reminds me of the story of Stephanie McMahon speaking
Spanish that Riccardo told Ricardo Rega just like talking to
Alberto the real backstage, and they were both speaking Spanish
and then Stephane McMahon started speaking Spanish to them and
they were both like flipped out by it. They're like,
what the fuck.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
Because it was the funniest thing I've ever seen. But
it was just like, whoa, All, Hyman is the goat?
You just dude was speaking Spanish and Spanish.

Speaker 1 (25:06):
I figured he did, but I just never heard him
say it before, Like, oh.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
I just I never expected him to speak Spanish. Just look,
the last time that dude I mentioned about, you know,
Mexican culture was that you know, Wressellmania at seventeen, when
he talked about how Texas is actually stolen land from
the Mexicans, and I was like, that is a good history,

(25:30):
less lazy gentlemen, that's a very good If you guys
don't remember that, to go back and watch WREUSSELLMANI seventeen
and watch the match between Eddie Guerrero on Tests and
he'll tell you all about that.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
Yeah, this is the reason why they took Paul Hyman
off a commentary because he was dropping so much knowledge.

Speaker 2 (25:48):
But you know, also in that promo, I loved how
he called out Roman Reigns, talking about he doesn't have
the balls to show up, and I'm like, okay, yeah,
they're pretty much already starting to set the stage for
Romans return pretty soon.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Yeah, possibly before SummerSlam, as at predicted last week, or
at SummerSlam itself. But I think it happens before SummerSlam
because you already returned at SummerSlam last year, so to
do it two years in a row would be a
little And.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
You need to have a match man. You have to
have your You have to have Roman Reigns back, you
know what I mean. You have to have your your
guy who was leading the ship for these past like
you know, a few years as the guy. And you know,
it's funny you sent me back that link about this
decade about so far being one of the best decades ever.
We're only halfway through. This decade in the twenty twenties

(26:37):
has just been on a major role. They've just been
hitting home runs every single year. And I look back
at it, they have ever since twenty twenties, since COVID,
they just they've been on a roll. And I have
to say, so far, Kurt, this decade of wrestling in
the WWE has been quite better than last decade.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
Yeah, I don't disagree with that, and yeah, Roman is
a major reason why of that, even though he's kind
of toned down the schedule and you don't see him
as much anymore, but I think he definitely needs to
be a part of Summer Slam.

Speaker 2 (27:07):
Yes, just returning at also and also to sell tickets too,
because you've got to remember it's at Medlife Stadium. So
and it's no offense to Cody Rhoads and and the
other guys, and you know, probably possibly see him. Punk
is to be on the card as well, but you
need Roman there. You have to have him there.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
What do you mean possibly of course Sam Punk's gonna
be on Summer Slam.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
You're insane, Yeah, because they haven't announced anything yet. But
still I'm just saying with all the guys, no offense
to all the other guys, right, you have to have
Rooman on your card. You have to have him in
the match. Gotta sell those tickets.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
And that's another reason why I think it was a
bad eady to schedule these shows like so close to
Summer Slam, because it's already kind of taken away from
the Summer Slam build a little bit. Yeah, because Summer
slaps in three weeks. Yeah, Summer Slam is still right
around the corner.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
Yeah, damn not good timing. I just it's kind of
weird of the fact that they have in this show
so early in the month of August. That's this weird.

Speaker 1 (28:13):
Yeah, But in any event, as far as La Night
in Seth Rollins, I think Seth Rollins picks up the win.
Oh okay, I think Seth Rollins somehow finds himself in
the championship match at SummerSlam along with Punk Goon Thirt,
possibly La Night too. And yeah, I said it last week.
I think at Saturday Nights Made event, they set up
some kind of angle that sets up the championship match

(28:34):
for SummerSlam, and I think in this match, Seth Rollins
picks up the win against La Knight. It's a good
spot for arl A Night. It's a major match against
Rallins on NBC, and it could possibly lead to a
championship match with SummerSlam. So any of the hardcore La
Knight fans out there who were worried after he lost
Jacobotsuo WrestleMania and also didn't win money in the bag,

(28:54):
it's looking like he is on the right path and
possibly going to be an even bigger star than he
was before.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
I mean, you couldn't you shouldn't have been worried about
at Russell in it. That was something that should have happened,
that needed to happen. It was bound to happen. It
was the money in the bank thing that was more
concerned about.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
Yeah, but it's looking like he'll be fine, and but
I don't think he'll win win this match here. It
was cool to see him layout Rollins on Rob Monday.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
After the That was funny. I love that. And what
a great match between Seth Rollins and Penca that night.
I love the spot where Seth Rowns does the buckle
bomb and then Penta counters it into a Mexican destroyer.
All that was an amazing spot.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
And then Ryan didn't even kick out.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
Even had his hand on the road. That was just
good wrestling chemistry. That was just the timing was just perfect.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
Yeah, it was a fun ass match.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
Yo.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
Look how great Penn has been doing ever since he
debuted in ww Yeah, ever since he debuted six months ago,
he's been killing it in his matches. His presentation is charisma. Yeah,
he's only been in the company six months and he's
already main evented row twice two weeks in a row.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
He is that guy at the level of raymis Stereo
when it comes to the Luchador wrestlers, Like it's to
the point where, like, like our friend Danny, like if
Penca lost like a great, like an important match, Daniel
text me, text me bummed out, like, man, I can't
believe Pansa lost the match and blah blah blah. That
shows you the the the importance of this of this dude.

Speaker 1 (30:30):
Yeah, and I'm sure he was upset at Penna lost
on Monday.

Speaker 2 (30:33):
Also, yeah, like this is I really like this guy,
you know what I mean? And especially when he made
his wrestle Many debut that was just very big and
huge for him. Yo.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
Did you see that video I sin chee of that
ding in the subway coming out like Penza.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
Yeah, it was great.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
I think I'm gonna be Pensa for Halloween a party
like that too. Oh wow, yeah we were rap son.
But anyway, I have seth Rollins winning this match, and yeah,
if it'll be good showing fairly night. But I do
think their night's not going to be over, as they
could play into what will be the main events of
this edition of Saturday Night's Made Event, as it'll be

(31:10):
in Goldberg's adopted home in town of Atlanta, Georgia, the
same city where twenty seven years ago. Last week he
dethroned Hulk Hogan for the WCW Championship. He will have
his final match in that same city, as he will
challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship once again. Different version
of the World Heavyweight Championship at that but this time

(31:31):
he will go one on one with the ring general
going Through.

Speaker 2 (31:38):
Every time I see Gunthrough, I'm always reminded that I'm
actually glad that he's champion again. So oh, I feel
like everything's all right in the world now since he's
champion again. But anyway, Yeah, this is Goldberg's last match,
and he will ride off into the sunset humbly because
Gunthro will retain the title and win this match.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
That's the only logical way for this to conclude. It's
Goldberg's last match. Judging by the reaction you got on
Raw Monday and Providence, I'm sure he's gonna get an
incredible reaction on Saturday. Considering it's in Atlanta, it's his hometown.
He's still Goldberg. He still has that or to him.
People still remember him from back in the day. But

(32:22):
his last match is going to end in a loss,
and in all honesty, that's the way it should be.
Goldberg's retiring, He's gonna get to have his last match
in Atlanta. But under no circumstances whatsoever should Goldberg be
defeating Gunther for that title, especially considering that Gunther just

(32:42):
wanted back a month ago and Gunther is like one
of their biggest stars in the entire company. That happened
before with Kevin Owens and also with the Fiend, and
that does not need to happen again, and I do
not think it will. As Gunther will make three minute
work of Goldberg, It'll wrap, It'll be fine for how
much it last, will be fine for the time it lasts,

(33:04):
but it ends with Gunther retaining his title and putting
an end to Goldberg once and for all.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
I think the major highlight of this match will be
pretty much after the match. I think that all the
shenanigans will happen, seth Rowns will appear, l A. Knight
will show out, CM Punk will show out, which will
set the stage for a build up between all those
four going into SummerSlam. As you predicted. But yes, this
match will be pretty much short since Gunter said he

(33:35):
will make three minute work of Goldberg, just like his
past matches in WCW.

Speaker 1 (33:42):
I just love that joke, he said last week and
his prol morney when he was talking about that three
minute like tribute video they made for Goldberg's career, and
he's like, yeah, that your video lasted as long as
our match is gonna last a Saturday Night's.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
Main event, right right, But yeah, you cannot have Goldberg
to win this match. It will be a major black
eye to this company in this era since Triple H
has been in charge of booking black eye ladies and gentlemen.
You cannot have Golber win the match, especially with the
fact that boother is just was crowned champion what literally

(34:13):
what like literally like a month a month ago? Yeah,
a month ago, and you're building up the summerslim It
would just cost just major confusion and just turmoil if
that were to happen. So, no, you cannot do that.
You cannot have Goldberg win the championship. He saw this

(34:35):
the last time and it caused a lot of turmoil
in that especially with the Kevin Owens saying that was
just till this day was just not a good look.
It's one of the reasons why that last decade doesn't.
It's like at an up and down decade for WWE,
you know what I mean, just withf they're booking, and
just how the way things were, and just yeah, I

(34:56):
really love this decade of wrestling.

Speaker 1 (34:58):
Yeah, you could say what you want about Triple AH,
and you can like like some of his ideas or
take some of his ideas or wherever you are in between,
but you have to be honest with yourself. Ww Ever,
since he took over, creative is ten times better than
it was when Vince was still in charge.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
Thank you, especially like during his later part.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Like you don't even have to be a Triple H
fan to admit that.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
Thank you, like you have to be, and it offends me.
Like when I'm watching some videos of how stuff was
back then and I'm looking at cringiest stuff and it's
like some fans have the nerve to say, well, it's better,
it's more entertaining than this stuff. I'm like, you gotta
be fuck you on crack right now for saying that

(35:42):
that stuff what happened back then is no way near
as entertaining as it is now.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
Like please, and with Triple H being in charge, I
don't think you would make a foolish decision like putting
the title on Goldberg at this dage in his career,
like Vince McMahon did. And I don't think it's going
to happen here because even with a SETH rollins Cash
and immediately after, there is no reason why Goldberg should
be defeating Gunther, and he should not defeat Gunther. So

(36:09):
I think going Through.

Speaker 2 (36:11):
Puts him in.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
The sleeper, puts them out. The referee raises his hand
three times and he can't pick it up, and going
Through retains and that's it. Goldberg will go out with
a nice ovation, The crowd will cheer for him, will
get one last moment in Atlanta, and then he could
ride off into the sunset with his son. Actually, his
son is supposed to be accompanying him to the ring
for the match.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
Oh that's nice. I do, I do, But I'll say this,
it will be short, but for the fan's sake and
for you know, yeah, for wrestling, say, and for the fans,
especially in Atlanta, we will see Goldberg do a spear.

Speaker 1 (36:48):
Of course, he's of course he's gonna do a spear.
He's gonna get his stuff in, but he's just not
gonna win the championship. So yeah, that's how this is
gonna go. I think going Through retains and yeah, Goldberg
has one last big moment in Atlanta, but it is
Saturday Night's main event. To be honest, I'm actually more
excited for that match, and I thought I would be

(37:08):
when I first heard they were gonna do it, but yo,
I'm looking forward to it. If there's anything on that
show I'm looking forward to, it's gonna be that. The setting,
the atmosphere I think is gonna make it fun. Okay,
but yeah, going Through definitely needs to wear no questions asked,
and they may add maybe one or two matches to
the show because as of now we only have three.
But as of now, that is a Saturday Night's main

(37:28):
event card for my old neck of the woods of Atlanta, Georgia.
The State Farm Arena, which I've actually been to a
couple of times, really solid places. Get to them. Yeah,
it's a yeah. That downtown Atlanta area is fun, and yeah,
State Farm Arena is very easily accessible for the train
if they have in Atlanta the train system. Yeah, like
literally when you get off the train station. When you

(37:49):
get up the escalators, you're right at the front entrance.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Yes, but we do have more than one big event
taking place at the State Farm Arena for WW this weekend,
as we have Saturday Night It's made event on Saturday,
and we have wwe second ever Evolution All Women's Show
on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (38:06):
Yeah, and like I said, their first Evolution show was phenomenal,
that is why they're having a second one. But this one,
Kurt has been pretty much rushed with one particular match
that they should not have on this card.

Speaker 1 (38:20):
Well, last time they did the Evolution show, they announced
it three months in advance. They announced it like in
July when the show was until October, and they really
took their time with it. They really took their time,
like you know, bringing back legends, building feuds, building like
big major matches for it, and it turned out to
be a great show and all. Honestly, I think that
was the best pl or pay per view WW put

(38:42):
on that whole year in twenty eighteen.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
Okay, yeah, I agree with you, but.

Speaker 1 (38:46):
Yeah, especially that Charlotte and Becky Lynch last Women's standing match,
That match was probably the best match that year period. Too.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
Yeah. Now when I look at this, when I look
at this card, there are Look, this is a good card.
Ain't gonna lie. This is a good card. I'm looking
at it right now. I think the main match, if
I had to pick that I'm looking forward to the

(39:13):
most is EO Sky versus rear Ripley.

Speaker 1 (39:18):
Oh yeah, that's definitely the main match toash, and that
will likely be the main event. But there's another issue
that the Evolution Show has to deal with on top
of the fact that WW has done such a piss
poor job promoting it and making it feel like a
big deal. You know what. That other issue is what
they have to compete with the Beyonce Cowboy Carter Concert

(39:41):
right down the street, hell, right next door. Oh yeah,
the Cowboy Carter concert is going to be in Atlanta
this weekend.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
That Saturday or Sunday, because usually her shows is on
a Saturday.

Speaker 1 (40:01):
I believe it Saturday. Yes, I'm looking at it right
now on Saturday.

Speaker 2 (40:04):
Yeah, because she's coming to Vegas on the twenty fifth,
and my girlfriend's bummed out that she can't go.

Speaker 1 (40:10):
Oh no, no, no, it's gonna be Sunday too. Oh my bad. No,
it's gonna be Sunday and Monday.

Speaker 2 (40:13):
Two days.

Speaker 1 (40:15):
Oh no, no, oh my bad. She's doing four dates
in Atlanta. She's doing Thursday, she's doing Friday, she's doing Sunday,
and she's doing Monday. She's doing for Atlanta dates.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
So she's skipping Saturday.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
Yeah, for some reason, she's skipping Saturday. I guess she
thinks that she can't compete with Goldberg, so she's doing
the other four days. Stop it.

Speaker 2 (40:36):
Wow, shit, look I listen if you're not, I mean,
I mean, it's first competing wise, Like I think I
want to worry about that too much, because you got
to remember, if you're like the mayor of a city,
you're pretty you're bringing much like a lot of entertainment

(40:57):
and revenue for your city, you know what I mean.
So that concert is going to be for the Beyonce crowd.
Of course, you're gonna generate that crowd for the wrestling.
So it's a fifty to fifty give, you know what
I mean. So I want to worry about that too much.
But that's crazy. I didn't know she most most artists,
the old dude like two nights.

Speaker 1 (41:18):
It's beyond.

Speaker 2 (41:20):
I know.

Speaker 1 (41:21):
But those women in Atlanta. Love them some Beyonce's.

Speaker 2 (41:24):
Son, I know, I know, but I you know, I
went to a Beyonce show with my girlfriend just for her.
You know. I'm not a Beyonce fan or anything, though,
but I went with her a couple of years ago,
you know, and I remember if she only did that
one show in Vegas, I was it, but I think
it was two. I'm not for sure though, but yeah, you.

Speaker 1 (41:46):
Know what's funny. You know, my favorite Beyonce song is
actually but Me Myself and I Oh.

Speaker 2 (41:53):
From her Dangerously and Love album.

Speaker 1 (41:55):
Yeah, that and the closer I Get to You songs
she had with Luthor m M. Yeah. I like early Beyonce.
I like that, like Beyonce, like Dangerously in Love, yeah,
crazy in Love with jay Z, the Sean Paul's song
and all that. Yeah, that was probably my favorite reader
her music was that back then?

Speaker 2 (42:11):
That was a very great album. That's awesome album. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (42:14):
Yeah, folks are Beyonce. I wouldn't call myself a diehard
fan of hers like that, but I like her music.

Speaker 2 (42:22):
Yeah. There's a handful of songs that I'm like, Okay,
you know, I dig this song, like this song, you know.

Speaker 1 (42:26):
So yeah, definitely. I like those. I like the album
she did with jay Z, the Carter's album they did
together a couple of years ago.

Speaker 2 (42:32):
Oh oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
She definitely changed a lot over the years as far
as like the sound of her music, because yeah, she
would have never.

Speaker 2 (42:41):
Done that, like, oh yeah, I ain't gonna I ain't
gonna lie. I ain't gonna lie, because if you're having
this conversation my girlfriend, she'll go all day about it.
Her last two or three albums, the theme of her
album she did really good on because like, look this
Cowboy Carter one that was a country one that was
actually like good, the whole theme of it.

Speaker 1 (43:03):
I'm not gonna laugh. If I listened to that Cowboy
Carter album, I'm probably gonna be in the mood to
drink a bunch of old fashions like back to Back.

Speaker 2 (43:10):
Ain't gonna lie. The theme of her album that was amazing,
the one before that Renaissance that was a different theme
of her album too. I liked it, you know. So yeah,
I like her. I like her, you know the way
that she's doing in her music, especially in her albums, and.

Speaker 1 (43:28):
So yeah, and a Lemonade album too, that's another concept.

Speaker 2 (43:32):
Will just consider one of the greatest albums of all time.
I got that album from my girlfriend on vinyl. Same
thing with the Renaissance one.

Speaker 1 (43:39):
So yeah, where we got into like this Beyonce topic
very deep people. Yeah, let's get back to.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
I know, because he thinks it's gonna be a problem
because you're gonna have that show the same list as
an Evolution.

Speaker 1 (43:51):
But let's be real, which shows more people likely to
go to.

Speaker 2 (43:55):
I mean, it depends what you like. I mean, if
you are a hardcore wrestling fan, man or woman, don't matter,
you're gonna go to Evolution. But if you're not a
wrestling fan, and if you love music, especially if you
love Beyonce, yeah you're gonna go to the Beyonce concert.

Speaker 1 (44:10):
So well, we'll see what happens. But as of now,
it's not looking good as they've only sold like about
five thousand tickets tickets. Yeah, the ticket sales are bad.
It's coming to the point where they're already upgrading certain
people's tickets because they're gonna close off certain areas of
the arena and like people, really, yeah, that's how it's
looking right now.

Speaker 2 (44:28):
Man, I told you you were right.

Speaker 1 (44:30):
Man having.

Speaker 2 (44:33):
WW book all of these events the same week as.

Speaker 1 (44:37):
Ae W was not smart and in the same city,
and in the same city too, and in the same
city in the same night they're doing the big ass
Beyonce concert at Mercedes ben Stadium. Yeah, they didn't do
the Women and the Women Show any favors by booking
it like at this time at all.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
You know what they I've noticed ever since, well mainly
since a TK merger, right, I've noticed that. But they
like to do a lot of like multiple events within
one area. Well, I mean I get it. They did
it for wrestle Mania. That's different. It's WrestleMania, right, But
they just recently did in Tampa. You had Saturday Night's

(45:14):
main event, you had an NXT show as well. That
NXT show I heard were struggling with ticket sales as well.

Speaker 1 (45:20):
Yeah, in Tampa, like all those months ago, they had
to like move it too the Performance Center because of
how bad the ticket sales were.

Speaker 3 (45:26):
So.

Speaker 1 (45:26):
Yeah, it's kind of like feeling like they're draining the
audience out in a sense. Although Saturday Night's main events
sold the good amount of tickets, they sold over ten thousand.
But yeah, Evolution, Yeah, their ticket sales have been bad
and to the point where like apparently a lot of
the women and a lot of the people in the
back like kind of feel that WW like purposely sabotage
this show. So that like when it ends up like
that because success business wise, they could say, oh, it's

(45:48):
because people don't want to see all women's show when
you know, you promoted it like shit and you put
it like it literally as far as location and timeframe,
a no win situation.

Speaker 2 (46:00):
Yeah, and like I said, just not smart business decision. Look.
I get the business side of like, oh, you want
to put all your events within one city within the weekend,
but dude, that's a lot of money, you know what
I mean. And then as a fan, as an average fan,
you're gonna be like, well, if I could afford it,
I could go all to all of them. But realistically

(46:22):
it's like it's a lot of money, but I can't
go to all of them, you know what I mean. So,
especially in this economy, it's a lot give me.

Speaker 1 (46:29):
For Cafe Martiniz just to keep up with that kind
of amount of going to wrestling shows. Yeah, but anyway, Okay,
so with all the criticism for the way this show
has been built and been scheduled to side. The card
does look very good and very promising, and I do
think the women are going to be motivated because of
all this bullshit going on to put on an incredible

(46:51):
show that really shoves it in their faces. And I
sincerely hope that that happened. So with that being said,
let's get into this sexy ass card for ww Evolution
Part two. As we have a triple threat match for
the Women's Intercontinental Championship. We have Becky Lynch defending her
title against Bailey and Labra Valkyria the Woman.

Speaker 2 (47:14):
This is the match that should not be on the
card because they should have took their time with this
build up. Not saying the build up has not been good,
but they should have took their time with this build
up and wait until SummerSlam. But no, they want to
beef up this card and put it on Evolution. Oh man,
it's not Is this bad timing, bad place, Kurt, And

(47:39):
like I said, I appreciate what they're doing, but having
this show was not a smart idea. Look, I have
Becky Lynch retaining the title. I don't know what they're
gonna I don't know what their plans are moving forward.

Speaker 1 (47:52):
I just I think Becky like barely wins in this
scenario because I feel like this few now is too
hot between the three of them to just blow it
off here. So I think Becky finds a way to
win in this scenario. But however she ends up winning,
it's gonna continue the feud and we're gonna get another
three way between the three of them at Summer Slam.

Speaker 2 (48:09):
It is you think that is special. It should have waited.

Speaker 1 (48:14):
Well to be fair. To be fair in two thousand,
a month before SummerSlam on Raw, they did do the Hardy's,
edgend Christian and the Dudley's in a three way like
on Raw, like in a regular three way match before
the TLC. At SummerSlam, they did that, but they make
you like this, Oh now I'm getting an idea. So
I think Becky wins here, and then you do a

(48:35):
triple TWDD at SummerSlam. But as a ladder.

Speaker 2 (48:37):
Match, Okay, I mean, if you're gonna do that, then
make a bigger stipulation. I believe. But yeah, okay, I mean,
I mean, let's look at it this way.

Speaker 1 (48:46):
How big of the ladder match has been at SummerSlam
for the men, like the women have like a big
Summer Slam moment with a ladder match.

Speaker 2 (48:52):
Yeah, okay, yeah, let's do it. Okay.

Speaker 1 (48:56):
So yeah, that's the three of these women in a
ladder match.

Speaker 2 (48:58):
Yo.

Speaker 1 (48:58):
That'll put lad on them. That'll be big for Becky.

Speaker 2 (49:02):
And also for the title as well.

Speaker 1 (49:05):
Yeah, I'll be honest. And the last I would say
two months or so, the Women's in Her Continental title
has felt like a bigger deal than the Women's World
Heavyweight time.

Speaker 2 (49:13):
Yeah, because the title has not been booked properly. That's why.
Hell no, hell no, I'm sorry. We saw Eo Sky
with the momentum that she had going into WrestleMania and
after and it kind of just sunk we just she
wasn't on a pl e defending her title. That's odd.

(49:37):
Look if they look if they do have a ladder
match for that title, that's summer sim When I'm referencing
the Women's in Her Conminental title, if you're the Women's
Champion or worlds or the Women's World Champion, you're gonna
look at that be like, damn, we gotta pick it up.
If you're a booker, you'll be like well, shit, we
need to really gotta, you know, make those other belts

(49:59):
more porady now because look what they're doing over there,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (50:03):
I would have never thought when they introduced a women's
inter Communal title, like when it first debuwed, that it
would feel like a bigger deal than the actual women's
world title.

Speaker 2 (50:10):
Yeah. I never thought about it. I thought it would
be just like a secondary title or something like that.
You're kind of like, okay, whatever, But after what I'm seeing,
because you have Becky Lynch involved, You're kind of like, well,
now I feel like it's it's up there now.

Speaker 1 (50:24):
So when that times, I think Becky's gonna find a
way to retain It's still gonna be a fun match.
I think they're still gonna put on a great match
or this is gonna lead to Yeah, I think a
ladder match at Summer Slam, and funny enough, this year
is a thirty year anniversary of the original ladder match
for the Intercommunal title at SummerSlam, the one with Sean
Michaels Ramon.

Speaker 2 (50:43):
Yeah, and it's funny. They have some restrictions in that match,
but they still made it good though.

Speaker 1 (50:48):
Damn. I know WWE wasn't great at the time. I
know that product was trash at the time, but I
just have such good memories of that summer in that timeframe,
like from the movies that were out, yeah, just watching
wrestling all the time too, and the music that was
out too, especially. Yeah, it was just such a fun time.
I have a lot of good memories of that, Like
Summer of ninety five. Yeah, that was the first summers
the ever watched live, was.

Speaker 2 (51:09):
That one, Okay.

Speaker 1 (51:12):
So that's why, like, even though that SummerSlam is not good,
I have a soft spot for it.

Speaker 2 (51:16):
Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (51:21):
All right, but that's another story. So with that being said, yes,
we do have Becky Lynch retaining her women's at her
Continental title and in a no holds barred match. We
have Jade car Gill, the Queen of the Wing Winner,
going one on one where her former bff two parts
of the Big Three from last year miss his money
in the bank, shorty what you think?

Speaker 2 (51:41):
Naomi caution tape Naomi Ladies and Gentlemen, And she's a
little psycho every time she does a little wicked laugh.
But yeah, yeah, even though both of them have stuff
on ther resume, good you know, placeholders. Naomi is the
current polder of the money in the bank briefcase, and yeah,

(52:04):
Jay Cargill is the newly crowned Queen of the Ring.
But I think Naomi wins this match because look, this
is a rematch from WrestleMania and Jade won the first time.
I think Naomi gets her payback, and when's the second time.

Speaker 1 (52:18):
I might have to disagree with you. I think Jade
picks up the win because I think Jade is going
to need more momentum going into SummerSlam with a championship match,
So I think she picks up the win over Naomi
here because even though she did beat Naomi at WrestleMania,
Naomi still been targeting her and like, you know, attacking
her and all that jazz. So I think Jade gets
a revenge here and she picks up the win. But

(52:40):
I do think it's going to be a fun match
where it all holds bart cesticulation. I think they're definitely
gonna find ways to be creative, and I think this
match will be better than that match of WrestleMania was.

Speaker 2 (52:50):
I was about to say the same, about to say
the same as well.

Speaker 1 (52:55):
So yes, I have Jay picking up the win here,
and I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of entrances
and what the outfits look like to.

Speaker 2 (53:00):
I cannot get over her entrance that Jade had at
not a Champions as a Storm.

Speaker 1 (53:05):
I another reason why I think Jade's gonna win. Also,
they're gonna be in Atlanta, her hometown.

Speaker 2 (53:11):
Oh that's right, WHOA, Okay, that's that's where.

Speaker 1 (53:14):
I met her. Yeah, that's where I served there at
work a couple of years ago, her and her husband.
But yeah, but with that considered that it's going to
be in her hometown. And also this is where like
kind of the Jade and Naomi's relationship started, because I
remember it when viral that one time they were like
seeing it a Hawks game together in Atlanta, like when
like when they were only first f W W and
Jade was still with a W. They were like both

(53:36):
seen together like at a Hawks game, like in the
front row. Actually, my brother and my nephew went to
that same game, and my brother sent me the picture
of it. Like I found out about it before like
pretty much the whole world did. Oh yeah, that's like
when that relationship all started. And it comes off full
circle back to that same Arena State Farm Arena, and
they're gonna be beating the hell out of each other
in the holds bad match.

Speaker 2 (53:57):
Yeah, but it will definitely be a better match than
Russell and for sure though, so people are saying now
that like Naomi's coming off like a Power Rangers villain.
What's the villain from? What's her name of the female villain?
Let's Yeah, she rolled me off the wrong way in
that movie A gonn Alive because she was low key

(54:19):
like checking Ivan news out. I was like, oh, hell
no when I show the movie still, but she was like, oh,
he's more man than I thought he was. I was like, mother,
your dude, Lord Zod whatever his name was, his standing
right by you. You're over here checking this dude.

Speaker 1 (54:37):
That shame on you. I haven't leapt so hard at
a movie and so long from watching that the other night.
But okay, I think we're gonna dive into that too much.
But yes, I do think Naomi who's this year? But
I think she'll still put on a great performance and
the match will be great in the end. But let's
move on to our match for the women's championship, as
we have Tiffany Stratton defending her championship against ww Hall

(55:00):
of Famer and former five time champion herself, Tris Stratus.

Speaker 2 (55:05):
Canada's greatest export, Tris Stratus, Ladies and gentlemen, And this
is tris Strada's first championship match in eighteen years. The
last time she was in a championship match was in
Unforgiven two thousand and six in her hometown and her
at that time her final match against Leda. What a
great moment, a great match that was. And yeah, I'm

(55:27):
really happy for trist for being in this moment. I
actually looking forward to this match.

Speaker 1 (55:31):
So I love Tris Stratus. She's been great, like in
the last wee comeback she's had, but she is definitely
one of those prime examples in wrestling of how nobody
stays retired.

Speaker 2 (55:41):
No, and I'm telling you, Trish being at this event
is perfect because dude, she is one of the just
the crown jewel of that division. Just you think about
women's wrestling, she is up there, she is on the
mount rushmore.

Speaker 1 (56:00):
Yeah, she's one of the goats. Yeah, you definitely throw
her in that discussion. Even when she come back, she's
still as good as she ever was back when she
was just twenty years ago, and hell, she had the
best match of her entire career, like just two years ago,
that match with Becky, the cage match. Yeah, so she
could still go, she could still put on a good performance.
And to be honest, they had that segment on Friday

(56:21):
on SmackDown with her, Tiffany Stratten and Jade Cargill, and yeah,
people were kind of criticizing this segment and hitting on
this segment, but I just said to myself, the star
of this segment has definitely been Trish Stratus's outfit.

Speaker 2 (56:35):
It's gonna be a great match, though, but look, Tiffany
Stein's gonna win the match, so it's no off.

Speaker 1 (56:43):
But yeah, yeah, just like Goldberg. It's no disrespect to
Goldberg either, but just trist Stratus also does not need
to be beating Tiffany Stradden, who's in the prime of
her career, who's like on the best run of her
career right now for the championship. She does not need
to beating her for the title. It'll be a good
showing for her should the match will be great and
O'll deliver and be fun. But Tiffany Stratton retains the

(57:04):
title and we get Tiffany Stratton and Jade Cargill at SummerSlam. Yes,
so yeah, Tiffany Stratton retains there. But it'll be great
to have Trish on the show. You had to have
Trish on Evolution. There's no way you can't have her
on Oh yeah, mm hmmm. All right, but we do
have a Battle Royal with all the women on Evolutions
who and the winner of the Battle Royal will be

(57:25):
getting the shot at the Women's Championship at Class at
Paris at the end of August.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
Yes, and in this match we have Stephanie Valcure, Ivy Nile,
Naya Jacks, Nikki Bella, Italia, Maxine Dupree, Klanie Jordan, Jada Parker, Wow, Lolavice,
I love Lola Ice on NX. Oh my god, last
legend is he? Dame Tatum Pasley, Selna Vega, Julia the

(58:00):
new Women's US Champion, may I add and Kennice Larray.

Speaker 1 (58:06):
Okay, pretty good lineup. And yes, Nikki Bella will be
in the Battle Oil since obviously Live Morgan's injured and
whatever they were gonna do with that whole story. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
it sucks, Yeah, it really sucks big time. But with
all the women involved. I do think Stephanie LaCour ends
up being the winner.

Speaker 2 (58:24):
I think she does win too. This will be just
I love Stephanie if care. I could go on and
on in hours about that woman, but I.

Speaker 1 (58:32):
Think any man in the world go on.

Speaker 2 (58:36):
Anyway. But this will be a great moment for her
that she really needs this, and I think that she
will eliminate an NXT star, either Lola Vice or Jada Parker.

Speaker 1 (58:52):
Okay, it's very possible. Yeah, she got a great reaction
last night when she appeared at NXT. Oh yeah, yeah,
but her team was going ape shit, you know that
for a fact of course, of.

Speaker 2 (59:04):
Course, losing his damn mine, Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (59:10):
All right, but yeah, anyway, I do think Stephanga core.
I think she'd be the win to win this Battle Royal.
I thought she was gonna win money in the bank,
but it didn't happen, although I wasn't mad at that move.
So I think she wins the Battle Royal here and yeah,
I guess the title shot in Paris. M all right,
but let's move on to the rest of the card.
We do have a four way for the women's tag
team Championship, as we have the Judgment Days were Quel

(59:31):
Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez defending their titles against Charlotte Flair
and Alexa Bliss.

Speaker 2 (59:38):
That's a surprising pairing, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (59:39):
Very surprising. Add couple tag team, but we'll see how
that goes.

Speaker 2 (59:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (59:43):
Also, so Ruka and Zaria and the returning Kabuki Warriors
of Oscar and Kyrie Zane.

Speaker 2 (59:51):
Yeah. Yeah, look, this is a good lineup for this match.
You have to have Raquel Rodriguez and Roxane Perez retain
those titles so they can stretch out the storyline until
Live Morgan returns and set up turmoil. And it would
make no sense, It would make zero sense that they
dropped those titles.

Speaker 1 (01:00:11):
Yeah, and especially considering that like Roxanne had like a
whole like funeral for Live Morgan. She had like her
picture up with a whole bunch of flowers around it. Yeah,
what the.

Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
Hell is going on? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:00:23):
I saw that.

Speaker 2 (01:00:24):
I was like, the hell is this?

Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
It's like the funeral the rock Haff of Stone Cold
back in ninety nine. H Yeah, some crazy shit. Yeah,
that woman is up to something, son, that woman cannot
be trusted.

Speaker 2 (01:00:37):
Nope. And Finn Balor, that Heathen is all up to it.
He's the puppet master behind all of this.

Speaker 1 (01:00:45):
Yeah, this is yeah, So we know the storyline is
gonna continue at least until Live Morgan comes back, So
I have no problem with it. And with that being said,
considering it's still going to go on until then, I
think Raquel and Roxanne find a way to retain. But
I think this will probably set up a potential match
between the two them and Charlotte and Alexa for SummerSlam. Okay, yeah,

(01:01:06):
because I feel like that Charlotte and Alexa team will
eventually get the titles at some point, but they're gonna,
you know, kind of stretch it a little bit.

Speaker 2 (01:01:13):
Okay, Yeah, but I'm looking.

Speaker 1 (01:01:14):
Forward to seeing how that team goes because it's kind
of new for Charlotte to be doing this. It's something
she hasn't done before, so like id like a new layer.

Speaker 2 (01:01:21):
Never she's never done this. She's always in the singles role,
but this is different.

Speaker 1 (01:01:26):
I mean, she team will ask her for a little bit,
but just in general, she's never done like any like
an actual storyline with like another partner where like you know,
this partner's trying to change r the partner's trying to
win hell Over, et cetera.

Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
Yeah, it's the same thing with Rox and Perez. Rox
and Perez is a new partner. She's trying to win
over Roquel Rodriguez.

Speaker 1 (01:01:44):
So and I think she will.

Speaker 2 (01:01:48):
Yeah, and you have to win this match in order
to do that because look in the past, like what
few matches Roxanne Perez been interfering try to help out Raquel.

Speaker 1 (01:01:56):
Yeah, it kind of didn't pay off on Monday because
Raquel ended up losing Kyrie. But I think this is
Sunday that they redeemed themselves and they retain the titles. Yeah,
and for the NXT Women's Championship, we have j C.
Jane defending the NXT Women's title against Jordan Grace.

Speaker 2 (01:02:16):
Jordan Grace is that big buff one right rip, just
like she's just a Greek goddess.

Speaker 1 (01:02:22):
Yeah, she went like on a pedicure day with like
Blake Monroe. I saw like a video from NXT last night. Yeah,
like Blake Monroe took her to get like her like
get a massage, to get her nails done, to have
like a whole like spot day and all this other craziness.
Like because Jordan Grace isn't that kind of girl. That
she's like that, that kind of girl does that kind of stuff.
She's like really got to working out and training all
the time, and yeah, she's like doing this shit.

Speaker 2 (01:02:51):
I'm just going to record. Look, I'm gonna say Jordan
Grace wants the title.

Speaker 1 (01:02:59):
I want to say that's but a part of me
is starting to think that maybe she might lose and
then get called up to the main roster.

Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
Really, how long is she's been on the roster now,
maybe six months? That's pretty fast six months.

Speaker 1 (01:03:12):
But she was already but she was already in a
TNA for all those years. Hell, she was the knockouts
champion like up until the point she left. M hmm. Yeah,
So I mean it's possible can get called up, But
I do think yeah, with that thing said, I think
she definitely loses jac Jaane ends up pertaining and then yeah,
she gets called up to the main roster. Okay, well,

(01:03:33):
perhaps Blake Monroe screwing her over. Who knows, anything is possible.
We'll see how it plays out. But on to our
main event for Revolution, we have for the Women's World
Championship Eo Sky defending her title that she's held since
the beginning of March and the title that she hasn't
even defended since WrestleMania again, specially yes, big booking issues

(01:03:58):
against the woman that she took the title from in
the place, Real Bloody Ripley.

Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
Yeah. And I feel like this is like a last
opportunity for Real Ripley to get the title again, because
she has so many opportunities after opportunities and she didn't
get it done. And I think it's time for Real
Ripley to get get it done. She will be the
new Women's World Champion. And look, I'll feel bad for
Io Sky. She has oh my god, her momentum has

(01:04:25):
just been up the roof. I just feel bad for
her that she wasn't booked properly after wrestle Mania.

Speaker 1 (01:04:32):
Yeah, I do too, because she had so much momentum
coming out of that Triple Thread match and winning. Yeah,
especially after WrestleMania the reaction she got there too. Yeah,
you really thought she was like, I'm gonna be doing
big things from that point on. But yeah, she hasn't
really done anything since then. So with that being said,
and considering that like Ria is like much more of
a priority obviously to them than Eo Sky is, I

(01:04:54):
think Real Ripley regains her title. Yes, I think it
will still be a great match. They've had great matches
in the past. And also to consider is, like from
that package they showed on Raw Monday, how they were
playing up the fact that like, Ria's never really defeated EO,
going back to their like NXT Days, the May Young Classic,
et cetera. So like they've really been playing up that story.

(01:05:16):
So I think considering that Ria is gonna be the
one to finally avenge all those losses and get the
win here and regain her.

Speaker 2 (01:05:23):
Time, get the monkey offer back. Yeah, okay, so yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:05:27):
So yeah. I mean it's unfortunate that EO skuys title
ram was treated the way it was, and like we
said before, the women's in her Continental title honestly feels
like a bigger deal than that title does right now.
But hopefully I think it will happen. The two of
them will show why that title should be as important
and be treated as such by management, and they're going
to put on a great main event and possibly a

(01:05:48):
Match of the Year candidate which sees real weekending your
title Liniet.

Speaker 2 (01:05:52):
Yeah, and possibly a great show. I look at this card,
it's the potential of being a great show. And I
think the women on this in this event will really
we'll do all they can to prove everybody that hey,
book like you know, build up and lead up and
all that stuff hasn't been as great. But look, we're
gonna show out and show why the show is gonna
be good.

Speaker 1 (01:06:14):
You know what's funny. You know where the last Evolution
show was where Long Island where I live now? Oh yeah,
the first Evolution show was in a place where I
now live, and now the second Evolution show is going
to be in a place where I used to live.

Speaker 2 (01:06:32):
Imagine they brought one to Vegas, that would be great.

Speaker 1 (01:06:35):
Yeah, if they ever do another one again, because if
God forbid, this one ends up being like a commercial failure.
And they're gonna say it's because all the women can
draw the women Oh interesting enough, and yeah they're gonna
say they're gonna use this as an excuse to not
do it again.

Speaker 2 (01:06:51):
M hm, horribal. Nope, this build up and lead up
is just nope.

Speaker 1 (01:06:56):
I remember Troop h talking against the whole idea of
like women of the Evolution show a few years ago.
Kind of just a surprised me that he would say
those things considering how much of a component he was
for like you know, the women in the first place.
So yeah, it's just so weird that like, yeah, he
said those things all those years ago, and now they're
bringing the show back, but under these circumstances. So I
hope that they end up like pulling it off, and

(01:07:22):
I hope that like some way, somehow it does well
enough commercially where they can you don't eventually do another one.

Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
Yeah, I mean, look, I hope it's good too, though
I wanted to succeed. And you look at the card
and just it has the potential of being a good show.
It's just I feel like it's gonna be a good show.

Speaker 1 (01:07:39):
Yeah, the card, they would really have to try to
make it bad. Like I feel like the talent is
going to be very motivated and have like that chip
on the shoulder of like how bad it's being booked,
and you know the way they treated it to like
really put on a great show and say like, yo,
you were wrong for not treating this show was important
that you should have And yeah, I think that does happen,
and hopefully it does well enough and gets an you know,

(01:08:00):
critical praise where they can justify eventually doing another one,
but it'll wait seven damn years to do another one.

Speaker 2 (01:08:08):
Right. Oh, one more thing I wanted to that before
we go off the air. So it was announced that
this morning that a WWE and the Big Twelve College
Football Conference has done a partnership. So later this year
when college football starts, right, SmackDown will pretty much be

(01:08:31):
they'll be bringing SmackDown to the Big twelve team markets.
So for example, so it's gonna be first of all,
it's gonna start in August twenty second, so it will
be a game between Kansas State and Iowa State, which
will be in Ireland. SmackDown will be there. So every
week pretty much they'll have SmackDown in like certain like

(01:08:55):
cities and areas where the college football games will be
played in the following day because of the partnership. Oh,
I find it pretty interesting. It's not a surprising that
I'm hearing's hearing this news because you go back to,
you know, when the Big Twelve have their championship games,
you know, late in the year, Undertaker was well, Undertaker

(01:09:15):
was there last year. He presented like a you know,
like a championship belt to the winning team so oh yeah,
I think I thought that was pretty interesting. Yeah. So, yeah,
they did a partnership. It's actually pretty cool. I like it.

Speaker 1 (01:09:26):
Yeah, it would be a good look. And also, speaking
of a college game game and all that, Pat mcafe's
probably not gonna be bad commentating with w W for
a while, he was like saying, yeah, I heard about that.

Speaker 2 (01:09:36):
I've been Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
He was saying something about being burned out and like
tired from like the hard schedule he was running on
the last few months, and then yeah, the college season
is coming up soon, right around the corner. So I'm
guessing he's taking this time to kind of you know,
like we charge his batteries and yeah, that's fine. The
doe needs to rest. The needs to rest. He has
a family too.

Speaker 2 (01:09:53):
Yeah. Yeah, and you know, I don't blame Look, I'm
gonna miss him, you know, I love him on the commentary.
But at the same same time, though, Corey Graves is back,
and I'm actually glad to hear him, you know, back
with Michael Hole on Raw.

Speaker 1 (01:10:07):
So yeah, Corey Graves is great. Yeah. You kind of
forgot how great Corey Graves is because he hasn't really
been the main roster shows as much in recent months.
But yeah, he's been showing it ever since. He's been
being used on rather last month. Yeah, that doing that
Triple A World's Collide show, Like really, I'm up this stock.
His performance on that got a lot of great reviews. M. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:10:26):
I always like Corey Graves as announcer though, but yeah,
I'm glad that he's back though. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:10:31):
Conan spoke really highly of them too. M. Yeah, so
it looks like he's really bouncing back from like that
whole situation that happened earlier this year, and I'm glad
to see it. And so Pat McAfee eventually comes back,
Corey Graves is doing more than a great job replacing
him for the time being. And also it came out
a couple of days ago that Chabo Guerrero was re

(01:10:52):
signed with WWE.

Speaker 2 (01:10:55):
Oh I heard about that. I wonder what role he
will play in and it's good to hear that.

Speaker 1 (01:10:59):
I'm sure like maybe be a producer, maybe be like
a trainer, maybe an NXT. But yeah, we'll see how
it turns out. Yeah, travel Guerrero is back in the WWE,
and also Shana Basler is back in the w W two.
But as a producer.

Speaker 2 (01:11:12):
Oh okay, she.

Speaker 1 (01:11:15):
Was listed as a producer last night for NXT.

Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
Oh interesting.

Speaker 1 (01:11:20):
Yeah, so Shana Bezol's back. Yeah, I focks with it.
She has her job. Still, it's not, you know, being
a character on the show, but it's still a job nonetheless.
And yeah she succeeds at it.

Speaker 2 (01:11:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:11:31):
Well that's in our condolences to Teddy Long as well
as Goldberg. As a couple of days ago, it came
out that Teddy long son passed away.

Speaker 2 (01:11:39):
Oh no, how old.

Speaker 1 (01:11:41):
He's like an adult. But I'm not sure if the
exact age, but yeah, son passed aways. And also Goldberg's
father in law passed away too.

Speaker 2 (01:11:50):
Oh no, our condolences to the both of the man.
I didn't know Teddy Long had a son. I didn't
know that.

Speaker 1 (01:11:56):
Yeah he has a couple of sons. Yeah, he has
a couple of sons. Yeah, I feel bad, man. I
remember I used to see him the gym in Atlanta,
like before I moved. That was seem in my gym
a lot. I never went up to approach to him,
but I would see him a lot.

Speaker 2 (01:12:08):
Oh yeah, I remember. You send me a picture of him.

Speaker 1 (01:12:10):
Yeah. I really feel for the guy. I know we
lost his wife a few years ago too. Oh no, yeah,
ports Eddie Lngman. But yeah, and our condolences to him,
best wishes to him. Also Goldberg and his family, his
wife especially obviously she lost her dad, so yeah, called
doles to them as well. And yeah, we're thinking about
you guys. Did you get to see Randy Orton's like

(01:12:33):
like brief interview with Stephanie McMahon, like where he talked
about like this mental health thing.

Speaker 2 (01:12:38):
Yeah, I read about it and I watched, like I
heard a tad bit of it. Yeah that's crazy, man,
Depression is it's it's a bummer. Yeah yeah, I've.

Speaker 1 (01:12:53):
Had my bouts with it, including recently, so yeah, I
definitely can relate. Although different, Yeah, definitely gets to all
of us. All of us go through it at one
point or another. It's a real thing. But there's ways
to get through it, as opposed to ways to just
let it, you know, take over.

Speaker 2 (01:13:07):
Mm hmm, Like you'll be surprised me. Oh, you want
to expect certain people to have it, you know what
I mean? But yeah, it happens to everybody. Robin Williams
is a prime example.

Speaker 1 (01:13:18):
Definitely, Jim Carrey too, Jim Carrey also said he suffered.

Speaker 2 (01:13:21):
From question like you look at these guys that they're
very funny comedians and like they seem like they're always happy,
but we don't look on the inside.

Speaker 1 (01:13:30):
So yeah, Randy Orton said he really went through it,
like you know, when he had his injury that kept
him out for over a year. Yeah, he was like
really in a bad place and he was like, you know,
not sure if he would ever wrestle again. Yeah, dealing
with all that. So he ended up having like a
bunch of panic attacks and all that. It got to
that point so we started taking like you know, a
panic attack and like you know, anxiety medication and make

(01:13:50):
himself feel better. And he said it did help for him,
did a lot to get get him to feel better
and like you know, get better.

Speaker 2 (01:13:59):
Yeah. I'm glad that he got the help now and
I'm glad that he's doing better. And it's just like
a message for everybody, you know, if you're going through something,
you know, just talk, you know, get help. Don't be
afraid to get help, you know what I mean. So
there's nothing to be ashamed of. It. It happens to everybody, man,
So get the help. That you need and just you know,

(01:14:22):
and if you have and if you know somebody, friend, family, whoever,
talk you know, you're just have that sense that that
person's going through a lot. Just say hey, you know
what I'm here, you know, talk to me, you know
what I mean. So that's all all it takes is
a is a conversation.

Speaker 1 (01:14:37):
Yeah, definitely, and PU shout out to Randy Ordon for
getting better. He said he's been off medication for the
last six months. And he even sent a nice message
like a fan who was talking about this whole thing online,
like I think send him a message and any message
back to them telling him them like different ways to
deal with the depression, like you know, different things to do,
like you know like exercise or like you know, dedicate

(01:14:58):
time to help out the that's fortunate, like do anything
consistently that get you in a routine and like things
like that will help kind of like speed up the
healing process.

Speaker 2 (01:15:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:15:09):
Yeah, So shout out to Randy Ord And yeah, he's
definitely one of those dudes you could definitely tell grew
up a lot in the last twenty years and I'm
glad to see it. Yeah, glad to see him back
in the ring too, on the verge of turning heel
on Cody Rhoades.

Speaker 2 (01:15:22):
You had to be seen, ladies and gentlemen, that whole
drew back guitar return just kind of just like it
threw like a curveball at us, like whoa, Like.

Speaker 1 (01:15:31):
Yeah, and Charlotte's been going through it too. Charlotte even
opened up recently, like in the Player's Tribute, in an
interview about the whole incident with Tiffany Stratton, that whole
like crazy, like you know, train wreck of a segment
that happened, where like Tiffany Stratton called out like all
the amount of divorces she's had, how she's like owing
three divorces And yeah, Charlotte even admitted like that that
raptor that like really bothered her to the point where

(01:15:54):
like the reaction you saw for on TV was like
her legit reaction. Mm. Yeah, she was not happy. Yeah,
she kind of felt she kind of feels like when
people bring up her personal stuff, Like you know, when
fans like Boo were for her personal stuff, it's like
they're not booing Charlotte anymore. They're booing Ashley.

Speaker 3 (01:16:11):
Yeah. Oh man, I can't believe that. How mess of
that whole segment was that was just a big mess.

Speaker 2 (01:16:22):
That's something we're really going to be talking about towards
the end of the year when we do that yearly
review thing.

Speaker 1 (01:16:27):
Yeah, it's the second time she's been involved in that
kind of segment where like it just kind of like
went to that point from that segment and then the
one with Becky of the Year a couple of years back,
with like the whole BLT swap situation. Yeah, for some reason. Yeah,
she's kind of been involved in a lot of these
like segments where it just falls apart right before eyes.

Speaker 2 (01:16:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:16:47):
Yeah, but I mean with that a side, I definitely
feel for her for whatever she's going through. Obviously, you know,
going through a divorce is hard. Going through divorce is
definitely an adjustment period, and she's probably dealing with other
stuff too, So yeah, I feel for in that sense.
And Yeah, I've always heard she's a cool person to
meet as far as you know, fan interactions go. Like
everybody who's met her in person, for the most part
he said she's like really cool and that she gets

(01:17:08):
like a lot of hate for no reason. So yeah,
I definitely feel that even if you're not the biggest
band of Charlotte Flair is sent a lot of the
hate to her that a lot of fans do send
to her. Is definitely young called for.

Speaker 2 (01:17:20):
I agree.

Speaker 1 (01:17:24):
Yeah, so check out that interview when to get a chance.
She yes, she talks about that. She also talks about
the fact that her and the other four horse women
aren't as close anymore, obviously because they're in different places now.
So yeah, some interesting stuff. And also it came out
yesterday actually that Seth Rollin and Becky Lynch's home in
la was broken into on Monday night.

Speaker 2 (01:17:45):
I want to say I did hear about that?

Speaker 1 (01:17:51):
Maybe, Yeah, it came out yesterday. Apparently the house got
broken into, like yeah, while they were away obviously a
raw Yeah, the house got broken into, like ten thousand
dollars in cash got stolen.

Speaker 2 (01:18:02):
What Yeah, damn, that's wow.

Speaker 1 (01:18:08):
That's crazy. But luckily nobody was in the house, nobody
got hurt. But yeah, still gets messed up, I know. Yeah,
but hopefully these dudes get caught and Seth Rolinds could
curb stomp their asses into the mat m.

Speaker 2 (01:18:21):
Break and get brown Breaker.

Speaker 1 (01:18:26):
From hours. Looking now, it doesn't look like bron Breaker
and Rolin's are gonna be cool for that much longer after.

Speaker 2 (01:18:31):
Like I know, I've heard there's a rumor that he
may turn on him and all that.

Speaker 1 (01:18:36):
Yeah, you have to broad breaker, just like snatched the
mic away from him the other night. Oh yeah, but
it's gonna be a crazy ass weekend with all these
damn shows. I have a lot of damn wrestling the
watch between Saturday and Sunday, and I got to go
out to I'm going out Saturday night.

Speaker 2 (01:18:56):
Damn it. You look I missed going out. Shit.

Speaker 1 (01:19:00):
Yeah, it's so funny, Like I didn't really go out
for a long time. I don't know why, but like
now I just love going out where. Yeah, to the
point now where like anytime I spend the entire day
at home and never go out anywhere.

Speaker 2 (01:19:11):
I'm like, yo, this sucks you missing out Like it's fun, Kurt,
Like it's just like you're always saying to myself, what's
the next agenda for the weekend? You know what I mean? Yeah, man,
it's amazing, Like take advantage of it, dude, that's just
freaking amazing going especially in the city that you're living in.

Speaker 1 (01:19:32):
Exactly, this is like the place where I like going
out as an adult, like when I when I became
an adult and I really started going out. This is
the place I live. So it's like coming first circle
that I'm like starting to go out again in this place.

Speaker 2 (01:19:44):
And I've been seeing your post, dude, the drinks TV
at and the bars and.

Speaker 1 (01:19:48):
Stuffing, Like god, that was like damn, yeah, I'm telling
you something. There's this bar I go to called Paradise Lost.
You know, they have the craziest fucking drinks.

Speaker 2 (01:19:57):
Paradise Lost. You kind of give me a vibe of
Golden Tiki in Vegas.

Speaker 1 (01:20:01):
It's a ticky bar. You have to ticky bar.

Speaker 2 (01:20:03):
Oh okay, okay, Yeah, it's trippy.

Speaker 1 (01:20:05):
Yourself too, like the from the entrance, like the way
the entrance is when you walk in a story of it. Yeah,
this place is great. Also, there's another bar I go
to called Bar Snack. They have this drink called the
d D and Stew. It's kind of named after the
rug Rats characters. It's funny, and the gardeners for the
drink is a pickle.

Speaker 2 (01:20:22):
Really, that's funny. Pickles. Funny, Yeah, funny, funny.

Speaker 1 (01:20:25):
When I said when I saw I was a D
D and Stew, when they had a pickles the gardeners.
I asked him, like, yo, this is a playoff of
the rug Rats, isn't it, And they said.

Speaker 2 (01:20:31):
Yeah, it is funny. But yeah. I mean, I'm happy
for you man take advantage of that, of the of
the social life. Dude, I feel like I was doing
that a lot, to the point where because like I
really wasn't watching a whole lot of TV because it's
funny because like a lot of people now you never
watched it. I was like, no, dude, like I was
always out of the house. I just I felt like

(01:20:54):
I felt like just being out of the house was
like better just being inside. And don't get me wrong,
there are perks of being you know, staying home, catch
up on shows and you know, I you know, play
more video games and stuff. But at the same time, though,
like me personally, I'm an outdoor person. I like to
go out and do stuff, no matter if it's like

(01:21:15):
going to a bar or going to a sporting event,
whatever it is, Like, I just I like to be
out and doing doing stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:21:22):
You know, Like, yeah, life's too short to just stay
in the house all day watching a TV show you've
seen a thousand times.

Speaker 2 (01:21:29):
Thank you that crack gets boring. Man, It's like I
can't do it. It's like every week. That's like every week.
I was like, it's so crazy how my life was
a few years ago. It's like every week I was
just out doing something out restaurant, out event bar.

Speaker 1 (01:21:46):
Yeah. Other than wrestling, there's nothing really I watch regularly
on TV anymore.

Speaker 2 (01:21:49):
Don't get me wrong. There are shows that I've seen
that I've never seen. I was like, oh, this is
a good show. Like I've just finished The Bear. Oh
that was a great season. Oh, Kurt, if you have
you watched that show?

Speaker 1 (01:22:00):
Yeah, I started watching the new season, but I haven't
really been able to keep interested in. So I'm gonna
find the time to watch it again.

Speaker 2 (01:22:06):
It's kind of it's a little bit better than the
last season, and there's another cliffhanger, so that's all I'm
gonna say.

Speaker 1 (01:22:11):
So all right, cool, But yeah, I mean I watched
I watch Abbed Elementary, but like now that Cobra Kai
isn't on anymore, Like now I'm kind of like struggling
to find like what my new favorite show is.

Speaker 2 (01:22:22):
Yeah, and also I've I've made a list of movies
that I've never seen and I'm kind of like, all right,
I'm gonna take the time and watch these movies, you
know what I mean. So yeah, you know I do
that too. But yeah, I just if I had to
pick between being out and being inside out, I just
I love just venturing out and doing stuff like take

(01:22:46):
me somewhere, you know what I mean. I don't care what.

Speaker 1 (01:22:48):
It's living that's the best way to describe it.

Speaker 2 (01:22:49):
It's living life. Thank you, thank you. You're missing out,
missing the whole world. I mean, every time I go
on the freeway and I'm looking at the strip, I'm like, damn,
I used to to like be out there a lot,
and I kind of miss it. That's just a miss
going to a bar or whatever. Just you know, miss.

Speaker 1 (01:23:09):
It whenever you and your girlfriend come to and why
we're gonna hook you guys up.

Speaker 2 (01:23:13):
Hell yeah, alright, but.

Speaker 1 (01:23:19):

are ford. But yes, I'm looking forward to Evolution. Even
though the build has been shipped, I'm still looking forward
to seeing what they put out in the end. As

(01:24:36):
far as the show quality goes. Saturday Night's main event,
I think the Goldberg and going through match will deliver
in one way or another. I think that's gonna be
the main thing to watch at arlin. I think it's
gonna be probably the show of the weekend. If I
have to pick one show that will probably be the
best show of the weekend, it will probably.

Speaker 2 (01:24:50):
Be that same. I agree. I think all In will
be the highlight event of this weekend.

kind just Curt with another edition of Class Champions. Take care,
