solid at this point, like thiswas, I'm so excited to watch these
ones again. Both movies were alot of fun to watch, and that's

run, by the time we enterthe fourth franchise, the fourth film of

a mainstay all four of them havedifferent villains, better story, and also

and our last one, which iswe had initially as better one liners,
but we've kind of change it tobetter one liners. Quotes don't can talk
about any kind of dialogue we want, and that's quickly becoming my favorite category.

that presence He's kind of reminded meof his absolute power character, whereas like
he's definitely overwhelmed by the day,but he still like maintains this like absolute

and have a cool dynamic between them. It's not something you see very often.

a lot of depth to his character, which I love. He made me
cry in this movie. He actuallymade me cry in a freaking lethal Weapon
movie, the fourth one, andit's a story about a fucking frog.
I mean, come on, Thenwe got Chris Rock, Who's I think
such an enjoyable addition to the group. But put it up against Diehard,

for I think Justin Long is afine sidekick. I think Kevin Smith is
way more of an interesting and enjoyablecharacter. When it comes down to this
category, I'm gonna ask myself whodo I want to hang out with?
Who am I Who do I wantsidekicks? As I'm definitely picking Leo Gats
and Lee Butters. I mean,who wouldn't freaking want to get high in

a dentist office on freaking what they'rebraiding? Laughing guys. I mean,
that's that's a group that I wantto hang with, and I think they're
They're way more enjoyable as characters.I know, because because aren't poor.
It's more of a serious movie.So it's kind of unfair, but I

a sidekick? So at this point, I mean, like it's kind of
tough for me because I mean,I definitely call her a sidekick in yeah,
not in this movie. I thinkI don't think for the sidekick,
because then you'd say, then youcan say MARTA's daughter or wife is also
a sidekick, which you can argueto a point. I mean she sure

Laura does kick ass. Why she'spregnant. I think she has a few
action scenes actually in the movie,but in in the sense where I'm going
to versus two, I feel justinlong and Kevin Smith versus Joe Pian But
you got considered, you got toconsider Cliff Curtis and Live for your Diehard.
It's kind of a side kickas ina way, it's just supporting a

the final moments of Leo gets,would I still have the same impact of
Leo gets to the rest of theseWeapon four or is that like the last

as Chris Rock goes, I talkedto actually was talking to PG about this
because we're doing Lead the Weapon thefranchise now over on two Mediakowait tues on

film. The problem I had withChris Rock in this movie. It's not
a huge problem, but like itreally feels most of the time, at
least like fifty to seventy percent ofthe time that he is in there to
do his stand up bits, likethey put his character in there. It
kind of took me out because alsoly, every once in a while he start

riffing one of his comedy bits andI'm like, okay, there's Chris Rock's
stand up I don't see him.I don't see detectively, butters I see
Chris Rock the stand up comedian atthat point, and it kind of like
throw me throws me off a littlebit. So I can't say I love
Chris Rock in this movie before thatreason. He is funny. I laughed
most things he does, and thebits with with Joe Pesci are great,
but I kind of like, Idon't know if that work for me comparatively,

If we do have Russo in there, I like that as well. I
gotta say just so Long. I'ma big fan of Justin Long. I
think he's underappreciated and underrated. Ido like him in this and I got
did you add Kevin Smith to it? And then you add maybe even having
Cliff Curtis in it. I wasreally getting a character that I really appreciated
it as a different kind of character. I'm going to go die Hard,

Lee le Fri or die Hard justweird to me because I didn't I didn't
think even going to this episode,I thought it was just do the what
before, but keep it. Thinkingabout it again, I love Leo Gatz,
but I think that I gotta gowith Justin Long under on Justin Long's
underrated, Matt Ferrell and Kevin Smithas a warlock. Yeah, I'm gonna

of one on one. I thinkLeo Leo kind of takes a little bit
of a step back and leave theweapon for but the moments that he's there,
it hit harder than any other moviethat he's been before. Justin Long

you say that he's underrated, Icompletely agree with because for some reason,
anytime I see Justin Long in amovie, I see Dean from Waiting.

compute up here, like him aslike this elite hacker. That's the guy
you're gonna pick, like over Kevin. If you could put those two side

a stereotypical hacker, right, It'llbe Kevin Smith. I don't know.
I mean I can see him becausehe's so like lanky and he's kind

think this was around the time hedid to bring the Pain Special. I
think it was around the same time. But that's the kind of comedy I
want in in a in a lethalweapon movie. I want like cheesy stand
up comedy that's gonna be like thelittle Zinger one liners that are going to

i'll just call it the racial profilingsegment with him and him and Leo Carr,

say that I know what you're comingfrom, and I agree the one liners
are good. I don't mind theone liners as much as like as the
bits when he starts getting into likethese, like the Leo rant is good.
The Butter's Ranch just seems like astand up special, which is that's
what takes me out the one liners, don't I like that bit, but

about the grandmaself of the yeah,the Afghanistan and everything, like yeah,

up conversation for an action comedy,but it felt that felt more in the

you have the villain storyline and thenyou have the personal storyline. Very formulaic
leath the weapons of they usually works. Previously they had I think like guns,

that. And so I really likethat the leath of weapon movies have always
kept that really strong side of it, being like the like the personal growth

and we have the personal growth andthe emotional aspects of the characters. I
love the Leo gets kind of getsinducted into the family in this movie.
I think he had one of themost heartfelt moments in this. I also
love how Marta sort of brings inthe Asian family. They become sort of

his surrogate family, and you canreally like make those two stories stand on
their own, like the action storylineand the personal storyline. When you think
about Diehard four and all the Diehardmovies, actually it's so hard to differentiate

the action from the story. He'sin Diehard the story kind of services the
action throughout right. But what Ilove is what I really love about the
Diehard franchise and Diehard For in particular, is how they have so you Paul
said it at the start of theshow. It kind of strays away from
the usual Diehard formula that it isnot the you know, one man against

the is in a closed space.It's now pretty much like all over town
kind of action romp. But Ido love that die Hard has managed to
stay with the times it has evolved, and he has managed throughout the franchise.
So I say, even story wise, Diehard five has like story wise,

it's a good point to go towards, but the movie just doesn't work.
So what I love about Diehart Foris it managed to bring in the
what's the word not electronic, thevirtual sort of terrorism aspect to this,
and the fact that the villain is, in his opinion, doing righteous work,

very much rooted in action. Sowhen you try to break these stories apart,
I feel like Diehard four as oneunified story works better than Lead the

the same time is what's more important. We're saying story doesn't necessarily just mean
