Speaker 1 (01:16):
He ain't call me and gonna flip him. Well, why

I'm gonna tell you one thing. God's not dead.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
He's just looking for a chance to work through somebody,
just looking for a chance to get get a chance
to prove his self to somebody. God is able. I
ain't always able. I tell you a few things, and
y'all know as much about it as I do. But
there's some things happened this summer made men know God's
not dead.
Speaker 3 (01:57):
God is.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
He's still on the move, he's still working, and nobody
liked the Lord. I'm standing here while I'm testifying, evating
on what to preach on, because I've got several things
I could preach on, But I'm just gonna preach on
shoulder trouble. That's just a fellow, preach on all, just
preach on shoulder trouble.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
You haven't hip trouble.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
I ain't know what I'm talking about talking about shulders.
Speaker 3 (02:18):
You might have heart trouble. I'm not talking my heart.
Speaker 2 (02:20):
Trouble, talking about shoulder trouble. Fellow, come to date, know
how just goes out there? A few days go, Binny,
old man come from Indiana. Preacher wish your thank his name,
drove in there and and a a van. He said,
I had bad heart trouble. Brother, more than God. He said,
if you'll go, I'll help you. And he said, we
just come. And you know, I was preaching one night
(02:40):
and I stopped and I will right here. If I
can feel just right, we'll lay everything down and see
what God will do. But you know what, Lord, touchman,
I said, get on up here and God will help
you right now, Come on, God will help you here.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
He broke out of there.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
Priese Force four left said he's one hundred percent better.
Speaker 1 (02:56):
I guess, Oh the Lord, he's a fellow.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
God it fella don't have to wait to die with
what they say is wrong with him.
Speaker 1 (03:05):
Brother, he don't have to wait to die with that. Oh, sir,
he don't. He don't have to.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
I've been working on that.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Brother, we are. He's both been dead a long time ago.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Brother brother said, he's thyroid's all mastuff something.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
But you can't play on tention to that. You know what.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
We had a fellow down home had something wrong.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
With his mind.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
I may not preach it, all right, if I don't
preach him. But we had a fellow down here that
couldn't learn to read. He couldn't learn to read. Now,
I repeat my suffocation, that's read, and you don't pay
to take me. Sometimes same old thing, sometimes same old thing.
But you know what, he couldn't learn to read. Why
pastored his mother and daddy. And here's a little boy
come around where is at go up to be a man,
(03:49):
and went to school, couldn't learn to read, couldn't learn
him to read. And one night is at church at Kellerville, Oklahoma,
and the Lord said, if you're being prayed for seven times,
I'll heal you. Well. I'd get some embarrassing after a
while seven times, but he just kept getting paid farm
seven times. And you know what, picked the Bible up.
(04:12):
They'd tried to teach him, but he never couldn't get
things straight. He just couldn't get it, for he could
ever understand how to pick the Bible up onces reading it. Yeah,
I'll take you down there, pay him a way down
the back. Let you fly me down the back tomorrow.
If we can make connections, let you shake his hand. Sure,
and he he said, oh, what a miracle. So he
went back to the great physicians. Out of x rayed
(04:34):
his head and it already told him that part of
his brain that helped you to read is dead, and it'll.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
Never be any better, and you'll never be able in
the world to read.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
So he went back and he said, now watch God work.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Now, watch him.
Speaker 2 (04:46):
He ain't gonna do like you want him to. He
ain't gonna work it like you thought he would. Just
well get ready for it all right now, if you't
wanna let God have his way, forget it.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
You ain't getting work. You won't told the girls how
do you want it? That's what you're follow me.
Speaker 2 (05:00):
Right. He went back to the doctors. He went in
and said, don't you check my head all out again?
What a miracleist says, had the x ray showed that
part of the brain they could read it, you know
on tail.
Speaker 3 (05:18):
They ain't tell it.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
I can't tell me that shaded the alert some way.
They tell that's dead right in there. Ain't And he said,
now I'll get the photo of it where it's healed,
and have the one where it wasn't healed, and have proof.
Will you? Will you.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
X ray him? Come back out?
Speaker 1 (05:37):
After a while the doctors walked in.
Speaker 3 (05:39):
Where is that sun?
Speaker 2 (05:40):
We hate to tell you. You heard me say he read
the Bible, didn't you?
Speaker 3 (05:48):
When I heard him reading?
Speaker 2 (05:49):
He was a slow, distinct reader, not like me, not
like a freight train over the rail, but slow and distinct.
You can understand him, cannot understand me?
Speaker 1 (05:59):
You could him, said, son, We hate to.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Teddy, but you will never in the world be able
to read. Your brain is just like it was the
last time he is here.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
You thought I was gonna tedd you.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
The x rays showed it. It don't make it then
where that.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
Shows it or not? When I went in that woman's
room down there and Oklahoma had that car ring, they
said you'll never walk again. McBride, Bone and joints said,
your legs tore up, so you'll never be able to
walk again. And here's an old two by four holding
his preacher man well coming.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
Up to her bed.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
And the Lord spoke to me, said, tell us she'll
walk again. McBride bone in joint. I'm talking about men.
It's been through and got the sheep kins and knows
all about it. I'm talking about specialists down there. I'm
not talking about little two before hospital. I'm talking about McBride,
bone and joint.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
That's all.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
They are boning joint.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
And here comes the holeness preacher up to the bed
of a woman and tells her you'll walk again.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
And they've told us she won't.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Ah intellectuals against who.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Amen?
Speaker 2 (07:06):
They was honest, but there wasn't God. Make him you
talk in his mouth.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
It's so made that it cannot pronounce the bows.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
But make it talking him. Amen, make a catfish walk
I didn't even know how walking fish while back, Yes,
he can. Amen, make iron swim.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
Well, uh talk fish talk, fish can understand.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
It spoke to the fish and it vomited out.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
John, I wish he had.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Speak to some folks I know that swallowed some gracious
they shouldn't have and calls him the execorate or whatever
that word is.
Speaker 3 (07:58):
Beside his pute.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Get a man of lie, she walks, raise her five children.
She's lived for years and years. They didn't know what
this talking about. Well, that's the way God works it.
We're reading from Zachari. I've talked along now I don't
(08:23):
need to preach very long seven chapter and to eight verse.
But we didn't come here to do anything like anybody
else ever done. We just come here because we thought
two years in the rules. The Lord moved on us
to come, and Junior was kind enough to ask us.
And our friends have come to the meeting, and we're
glad you're here. They don't telling them what the Lord
(08:44):
will do for you. You hear me, They no telling
what God will do for you. He's not dead.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
You got financial troubles.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
I can tell you a few about that.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
It helped you out.
Speaker 2 (08:57):
Maybe don't know whether should or not. But how might
doing these days, all these nights, I may tell you
a little about what gods they will do.
Speaker 3 (09:04):
About financial situations.
Speaker 1 (09:06):
I mean he is able to.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
Don't you think he can't now?
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Eat in here? He can see have a little faith.
And the word of the Lord came, and the Zacharia
saying eight verse, seven chapter the Book of Zacharai thus
speak as the Lord of hosts.
Speaker 3 (09:18):
Now, I'd like you notice in eight verse and.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
An't I try to teach preach too long because I'm
not near as interesting as I want to be. And
most of the time, as I think I am. The
word of the Lord came under Zacharai. And now, if
we could get that to happen, that would assist us
immensely in our church work.
Speaker 1 (09:36):
If we could get the word of the Lord.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Well, they had they had the prophets, they I mean,
they had some scriptures, they had the Moldes' writings, but
they had something called the word of the Lord come
unto him. If we could just get that to happen
a little more, the word of the Lord came on
to him.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
See, in other words, God was talking to him.
Speaker 2 (09:59):
Thus speak the Lord of Host, the Lord of Who,
the Lord of Host over everybody, over every saying, the
one that talks in the glory world, and the door
post can't take it. Amen, He's God, He's God. Got
all the water and upon this.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
And execute true judgment.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
Oh, I wish we had that breaking out everywhere. I
wish folks should execute true judgment. There are people that
I know that have got it in for certain people,
and they think because they have, you should have. And
they have passed judgment upon them, and they think you should.
(10:45):
But we need people that will execute true judgment. Amen,
execute true judgment, and shoe mercy. We got some folks
don't want to show any mercy and compassions. Every man
to his brother, be merciful and compassion. I don't understand
why people cannot be touched with the conditions of people.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
I can't understand it.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
At night, if I think of it too long, befo
go to sleep. I do just and I had to
do this morning. I reckon, you just have to get up,
praise God for daylight, and get with it.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
I just can't take some of that.
Speaker 2 (11:21):
If I think of them chilling sleep in the in
the streets, and India covered with newspapers, and them mothers
pictures and pictures of mothers I've seen laying there in
the street with no home, I can't hardly take it.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
To have a good bed and so much food.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
I'll tell you what I can't understand the world that
has no mercy or compassion. Every man to his brother,
that's good enough for him?
Speaker 1 (11:45):
Is it?
Speaker 2 (11:45):
If it happened to you, would you want him to
say it? You're not like the old lady said, if
he's my boy'd run him off, would you, are you?
Speaker 3 (11:53):
And the brother said, yes he is. If he's yours,
I'd run him off too, But his mind.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Mercy and compassion and oppress, not the widow. I hope
the preachers won't take offense, but it can't hardly stand
for them. Preachers, whoever they are, wherever they are, to
get up on the radio and say, send me mother,
if you have to. I've heard them say it, send
me your last dollar, as approved me offering why I
(12:20):
wouldn't have the internal fortitude of the eternal ignorance to
ask any mother that had one dollar left to send
it to me. I'd rather say, send me your address, mother,
and I'll send you another dollar to go with that.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
Oh press, not the widdow.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
I know a lot of folks getting things don't deserve.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
But I tell you what, we've got some people in
America they're cutting off of some checks.
Speaker 3 (12:50):
And somebody raised the saturn the other day.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
Ort to back down again and reject that raise yet
and turn it back into our national treasury and send
that money to them people that needs it. And that's sense,
whether you know it or not. Yes, sir, that's good sense.
Bless my heart. We're gonna preach on shoulder trouble tonight.
That's what we're gonna preach on. Oppress, not the widdow,
(13:14):
nor the fatherless. I don't know why.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
Folks like to put folks foot on folks's neck. I'm
not saying you do.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
Don't take anything, don't belong to you, because I'm just
preaching cause them called, but they like to put their
foot on somebody's neck. I don't understand that. What is
supposed to prove to step on somebody's neck? Uh, oppress,
not the widow, not the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor.
(13:44):
Went into restaurant in Tulsa the other night, tuss Oklahoma.
The little creak Engines called it to U l Sea.
I told you, Tusia, you know what. I went in
there to eat and two black preachers come in. I
didn't ask him whether this preacher's not or watched them
open the door, and I watched him walk up, never
seen him before. They walked up the counter and they
got to counting the money, figured the money, said, what
(14:04):
are you going to buy here? What do you want? Said?
See here? He said, what we got here? How much
money we got? And you know I got watching that.
And I went on and sat down, and the Lord
touched me and said, you go and give them an offering.
I washed him pray over the food. I eased over
the table, and a lady a bill down enough to
(14:24):
pay for the food. And the Lord bid me not
tell him my name, and don't tell him who you are,
where you're from, or nothing. If you want me to
use you, have some sense, if you want me to
have the glory, have some sense. So I just laid
the bill down, and I said, God saw you when
(14:45):
you prayed. God was watching you when you prayed. He
saw you by your head. He knew your need. He said,
who are you? I said, I preach your man goodbye.
Went off down the road, shooting the gas to it.
So I wonder havn't broke the speed limit. Get that
(15:09):
idea out of your mind. You need to press somebody,
get even with them, do them dirty, cause it done
you dirty. Now. God don't like that, he said, don't
oppress the stranger nor the poor. No, sir, you know
we get ready to save money in America where we
go to saving it on the hardest working people. That
(15:30):
is the tax paying us people. That is the lord
totnest people they are, that's the one we load more.
We are missing the mark right there. Let none of
you imagine evil against his brother in your heart gonna
get to my texture Innamentute, don't run around imagine I think.
Speaker 3 (15:48):
I just believe he's again me.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
How do you know?
Speaker 3 (15:52):
Well, just think he is. It's the way he looks.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
Why Lord have mercy man, he looked like that ten
years before you met him.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
He's like old Franker used to work with.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
He looked like he's a grin and all time to
custom his thing wicked as it could be if you
look like he's grinning the whole time. I work with
another old boy. He as ugly as I am, ugly
as some mother.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Fans look like.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
He's mad as far all the time. He is the
more the friendless one of the bunch. Nearly always in
the good human you can't always tell the look the
fellow me have the toothache. Imagination's the worst nation in
the world. It's well more better populated than the one
I know of. The Barrable's right don't take me. Listen,
he's talking to us. Well somebody else sure, Uh, don't
(16:34):
imagine evil against your brother in your heart. Don't run
around load it up with imagine that she didn't shake
hand with me. But coach you thinks I'm better and
she's better than She got a new dress and I
could tell she is for the pride because she got
it out. Could you? You didn't have sense enough to
deserve that cooked put youre you sent that hundred dollars too.
You found out his cook it and.
Speaker 3 (16:55):
You didn't know nothing about it.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
But you can desern some dear sister in the church
have been faithful after a year and sir, don't hollerwa
you man, llll let me think you told me something.
Glory do God, But why shoulder. You'll let imagination wreck
you spiritually and you'll never be able to shout again.
I've met a few folks that's got down tonight. It's
got them flat of their back spiritually. Can't get out
from imagination everything you do.
Speaker 1 (17:18):
I just know that's thing it in me.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
Talk about Morse, you're gonna have to get more specific
than that. Morse. My name's high and listed up more
Localahomas on the water tar. A few men goes in
the men's room down and just sit it on the
hand blow with our smart bunch of people. More mblry
on your blow down, I said, drives your hands. Well,
you can talk about Morris, but if you don't get
more specific than that, I ain't even gonna imagine you
(17:46):
kiss me, Hicks.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
I may thank you for me till the day.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
We die, and you've been again me all the way.
But if God will help me, I'm not going to
run off for deep end with imagination.
Speaker 3 (17:59):
That ain't text.
Speaker 2 (18:00):
I'm gonna get into it, coming to it here, come
into my text chair. But they refuse to hearken.
Speaker 1 (18:11):
And pull away the shoulder.
Speaker 2 (18:14):
You have raised any children, raised a little girl, little
granddaughter especially, I've got a granddaughter. I got one girl,
and I tell you they can pull away the shoulder
worse than anybody on you. They ain't going to do it.
They don't like it. They got shoulder trouble. They refuse
(18:37):
to hearken and pulled away the shoulder and stop the
ears that they should not hear. I've actually been for
They physically literally stopped their ears. I've actually preached where
they stuck their fingers in their ears.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
You talk about.
Speaker 2 (18:56):
Acting like little children, that takes the cake. That's about
as good as that old boy He hit the Evanders
tabourine in the according case, while I was a praying cozy,
didn't like tambourines and full of wall, I'd fit and
hit it right in revival and evangelists, according case, while
I was praying and order. If we didn't act so
(19:23):
much like children, I wouldn't preach to us like we're
like children. If the human family wasn't so full of
this shoulder trouble, I wouldn't say anything about it. But
I'm gonna have to diagnose the case tonight and say,
we've got a lot of shoulder we along caring.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
Why won't you hear it?
Speaker 2 (19:38):
Because God wants you to and the devil don't want
you to, and you're gonna yield to the wrong one.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
And you ain't gonna listen.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Had old boy wrapped his car around that tree down
here in Oklahoma, got drunk wrapped pick up around a tree.
He promised me at his mother's funeral that I preached
that he had meet her in heaven, prayed with me
in everything in his dad is a preacher, and he
wouldn't listen. Pulled away the shoulder. Well, I once seem
in the hospital. They call me all night long and delirious,
(20:10):
strong in the condition. When I got up there, he
thought I'd do like I used to do. But it's
a different story. It's time. It's time to get in live,
it's time to hush up and put up. After a while,
it's too late. And when I went into his room,
his daddy left. He's a preacher, a good friend of mine.
He knew what's fixing happened, but I didn't come to
(20:32):
her saying, honey, it's a pitiful shame. No, no, it
wasn't time for that. He was still alive and had
plenty of life in him. You know what I said,
one of you gonna do what you told God? You do, son,
You messed around and fooled around and won't do what
you told God till you're gonna die on and save
what's gonna happen. You know, he got mad at me,
but he ain't. But he ain't. But you wouldn't listen.
(20:59):
And how many people do you know that wouldn't listen
to God? I'm visiting them in the hospitals. I'm looking
at them with broken homes. I'm telling you what I know. Children,
They would not listen. They pulled away the shore. Ah
do lie, I want to You can't get away with that.
(21:20):
You can't. I don't want all any involves. I'm not
going to try to get specific tonight, but I feel
like Lord that one. Did you notice in Acts of
seven chapters fifth first verse, one of the best deacon,
they said, is a deacon. I'll take that, you stiff. Next,
he's a preaching you stiff next and UNCircumcising heart and yours.
You do always resist the holy gorses. Your fullfather did so.
Do you you know what they've done to him? Fixed
seventh verse.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
Then they cried out, and the loud war stopped.
Speaker 2 (21:41):
The ears ran upon him with one accord, cast him
out of the city, stoning him. The witnesses laid down
there close at the young man's feet, whose name was Saul,
and the stone Stephen, calling upon God and saying, Lord
Jesus received my spirit, and the kneel down tried to
the loud bars, Lord, laying.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
Off to sin to this charge their charge. When they
said this, he.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Fell asleep, and the first few verses of the next
chapter tells us that good brethren came and put him away.
They came and put him away. Did you know something?
Did you know something? They had shoulder trouble. They're not
gonna tell me. Listen, I'm meeting them on the way back.
(22:23):
I'm meeting them on the way back. I know a
boy that was preached to get saved. No, I got
time to get saved. He had, He had a car wreck,
got in the hospital.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
You ready to pray? No, No, I'm not.
Speaker 2 (22:37):
No, what are you talking about? He got electrocuted. I
mean he still lived, but I forget how many volts
went through him. He led in the hospital. Doctor come
in a couple of days. We got taken arm off, Oh,
he said. Preacher said, pray. No, Well you believe me.
(22:57):
They took an arm, and a leg and another leg.
And I mean what I'm telling you. And when he
got out that last arm, he didn't have to take it.
He had one arm left. He said, I'll pray, I'll pray,
I'll pray. Pull away the shoulder, pull away the shoulder.
Speaker 1 (23:22):
Wouldn't listen, wouldn't let.
Speaker 2 (23:24):
God have his way, said we'll do our own thing.
We'll do what we want to.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
We don't make it of what anybody else said.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
We'll do it like we want to do it. They
refuse to hearken, pulled away the shoulder, stop the ear
that they should not hear. Yeah, they made their hearts
as in a damu stone, lest they should hear the
law and the words which the Lord of Hosts had
sent in his spirit by the former prophets. Therefore came
a great wrath from the Lord of Hosts.
Speaker 3 (23:49):
You may say, well, brother, more, we not have any
of that.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Now. God doesn't still do that. I beg your partner, sir.
I beg your partner, sir. God does still do that?
You may say, God does not?
Speaker 1 (24:00):
God does uh?
Speaker 3 (24:03):
God still that? They made their heart like in a
damond stone.
Speaker 1 (24:07):
You know what that is. That's harder than flintlock.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
You just can't hardly touch them. Ain't nothing hardly touches me.
You can't get to them. They got shoulder trouble. They
pulled away their shoulder from the truth and made their
hearts the hard You couldn't touch them.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Why they can come to church and set back there.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
I'm not saying you're sitting back there doing this you
hear me, but I do know what's happening. They can
set back there and say bad words and stick their
tongue out of the preacher and don't have any fear
of God about them.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
They're so hard you can't touch.
Speaker 2 (24:44):
Them with nothing.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
What's happened?
Speaker 2 (24:46):
That's that shoulder troubles where it's started. They pulled away
their shoulder and said, we're not listening. You can't tell me.
I'll go where I want to and do what I
want to. I don't know whether there's anybody here with
that in mind, but but you better listen if you are.
In Proverbs twenty eight fourteen, the Bible said, happy is
a man that feareth alway. But he that hardeneth his
(25:07):
heart shall fall into mischief. Now you make your own
heart heart, and you start that out a little bit
at the time sometimes, and you resist God and resist
the truth and resist the spirit, and resist what the
Bible says. And the first thing, you know, it just
builds up an old crust around her. And you know, appreacher,
just perton your attack of spiritual chisel and the gospel
hammer and hammer and chisel till he gives out and
(25:29):
can't even touch it can't do nothing.
Speaker 3 (25:32):
It's terribly getting that shape.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
I've actually been where people come to order and wanted
to cry but couldn't. That hardened their heart against God. Listen,
don't be ashamed of tears. I see people that act
like it's a crime to cry. We are having funerals
in America now and and once in a while.
Speaker 3 (25:52):
I don't be mean.
Speaker 2 (25:52):
We may have funeral directors there, have great respect for
funeral directors, had lots of funeral We just had brother
Vince Wilson tother day and those boys were fine. And
I have no heave against funeral directors. But let me
tell you something. I've been up front more than once
when I stepped in between the funeral director and a
loved one of that casket. We are not out of
(26:13):
our minds because we cry. We are not out of
our minds because we shed tears. We are not necessarily
fixing the fall down dead, because that is bodies are.
We're weeping because we love Daddy, and there's no harm
in weeping over him. Don't get hard headed and hard
hearted and get that shoulder trouble. First thing, you know,
you can't shed a chair at mama's funeral. I don't
(26:35):
care how much you will, how big your word, you've been,
what you know, don't get before you can't cry. Let
your heart be tender. Yeah, Lord can touch it. God
can bless you. Don't get hard headed and hard hearted
and get where God can't touch you. Preaching about shoulder
trouble tonight. You know, I'm not preaching Ther's high as
I have a few times, but I reckon all, let's
(26:57):
go ahead with it for a little bit here, because
I'm sure that there are people here that's had a
little this trouble. It's trouble, and it's just every word
it's about a little shoulder trouble. Oh. I don't want
to hear that. I don't want to tell me that
I just.
Speaker 1 (27:12):
Just bought that bikini.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
Don't you tell me nothing about things like that. Don't
tell me how to live, don't tell me what to do.
Speaker 1 (27:23):
Just what do you want us to say?
Speaker 2 (27:25):
What kind of a hypocrite could a man be that
called himself a preacher, that never preached anything in that Bible.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
I'm reading you from.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
The Bible, and it's telling us about a group of
people that lived on this earth like we are, that
turned the hearts as hard as in a damond stone,
harder than a goat's head. You know what, there's a
bunch done this in the Old Testament, And you know
what God told the preacher said, I'm gonna send you
down there to preach to him, and I'll make your
forehead hard against thirs. You ever hear of a hard
(27:55):
headed preacher, you better thank God you've got one. If
he ain't pay, God will make a hard head out
of him. Yeah, you've got to be a little hard
headed nowadays. Woman come to hold mere meeting brother brother
hell eld, she said, I'm sent from God. I said,
you are, didn't know it? She said, she didn't have
no holes on and come to hold me a revival? Well,
(28:17):
I know, if that's not the biggest thing. Well, if
I come to visit you ain't got no holes on it,
don't backslide me or you either.
Speaker 3 (28:21):
Now, lady, don't you think that I'm in particular.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
If you're the house of working and if I come
in you don't have no holes on, I'll judge you.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
No, I won't do it either.
Speaker 2 (28:31):
But if you come to my church and more Oklahoma,
and you ain't never been there, and you drive up
and get out and say you come to hold me
in meeting.
Speaker 1 (28:36):
You ratter have some holes on.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
There's a good lord here. Well, I said, what doctrine
do you teach? Oh, I'm free holdness. Well I've learned
that's just a liking rod for some force. Well, I said,
what doctor do you? She said, there may be some here.
Don't you hit the door because the fires in your church.
(28:58):
You'd preach it to me till you out. You'd preach
your doctrine of oneness to me till I give out.
And if you can, you call me devil before got
out of there. I know what I'm saying. And she
said she was a one. This will bless your heart.
I said, we don't teach that your She said, well,
I got mine a revelation. That's strange.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
I said, we have got mine, I said.
Speaker 2 (29:20):
She went a block down a road from me, pitched
up a ten and turned the pa in on me.
Somebody called the law and had her Tha took out,
and she blamed me with it ever since. And I
never could convince her that I never called the law
nobody like that in my life, never have. But she
told God and the devil I did well, I just
said that to you, to say you've got to have
a little preacher that'll tell you what God says, like
(29:43):
ll doing and all these other boys that obeys God
rather than have a little jellyfish back bonnets. I run
around about a four inch heel on and you don't
know how many times it's been murdered, or where they's
looking for a woman not and flirts.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
I have a woman church.
Speaker 2 (29:55):
Visitor, a home of church. Try to get the name
of that guss o. Whoever check is putting off her.
They can contact them and get it all for now
that when he gets the need.
Speaker 3 (30:07):
I'm a preaching on shoulder trouble brother.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
I've met some preachers that had it, couldn't tell him nothing,
and he wasn't there gonna tell him nothing. And they
wouldn't listen to noldbody. Every church they preached in they
knowed more about it than the pastor did. They could
tell him more about how to run it. In the
pastor knowed how to run it. He ain't know all
about church busus. Never had built one, but they could tell.
Speaker 1 (30:28):
You how to built one.
Speaker 2 (30:30):
Ever had passion? One but you know all about passion?
One ever had hell and revivals. But they know all
about hell hold Well helped forty year old talking here
now preaching on shoulder trouble. Won't listen.
Speaker 1 (30:45):
You get before the.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
Judge us you had he on't having no mercy, sh
oh boy down home. He thought he'd get on the
judge's sympathy, you know, and run a stop signing.
Speaker 2 (30:59):
And and he the police stopped him, and he said
you run that stop sign. Well, he said, I'll say,
he said, then didn't know? Said I said, didn't know.
I said, said, would you get out of your car,
mistern and go back up there and read that's that's
sign and tell me what st op means. Sometimes we
(31:19):
think we'll get by children, but we're going to have
a judgment for God after a while. Ain't gonna have
that much mercy on us. As an old boy down
there in the court the other day got in front
of the judge and popped off and smarted off and
swaggered around. You know. We've give them the TVs and
the phone, rubber mattresses, and the single sailed them and
let them made money in jail, and let him file
(31:40):
suit even in the pen against US shoe lawyers at
our tax reports. I know what I'm saying. He he
fin angle around there and tried that smart I'll tell
you what he done and wrong in front of the
wrong man I had old judge went snapping him orders
and them police were meant to jump and get him
up here, stand him up, appear in front of me
(32:00):
and don't let him move. Wo. That judge didn't even
have a gun. But I'm telling you he was the
judge God sent his word and they wouldn't listen, and
they stopped the ears. It's kind of like that church
(32:21):
as a pastor, and that girl's going with that old boy.
He is drinking and smoking, hiding it from her. Lord
spoke to him in one evening, said tell her tonight
to quit him.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
Oh, preacher, don't get into that. That ain't none of
your business.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
Glory to God. Had night, I said, I want you
to quit him. Don't you go with him no more?
Speaker 3 (32:42):
Well, I'm supposed to tell him tonight, whether Mrrim or not.
Speaker 2 (32:47):
For the for enough up road to get a whooping me.
I mean, I just stayed with it. She quit that fella.
She's had a beautiful home for years and five daughters.
Her husband's been the deacon in the church. They've got
along wonderful. I'm just out out there a little further
that meant to go. But look, the Bible said in
the twenty eight chapter of the Book of Proverbs eighteen
(33:09):
fourteen verse, happy as a man that fearth all the way.
But he that hardens his heart shall fall into mischief.
Going to get in the jam over it, pulling my
shoulder away in and said, you can't tell me, how
do I want to I'm not knowing what you're doing,
and I'm not trying to be mean with you. But
we have got so much rebegging in America till it's
a shame. It's a shame.
Speaker 3 (33:31):
Twenty nine chapter of the Book of Proverbs, first verse.
Speaker 2 (33:34):
He that being often reproved, hardens his neck shall suddenly
be destroyed, and that without remedy hardness it you can
get hard till you can just whirl around, forget prayer,
hurl around, forget God, hurl around, forget the altar, forget
the song, forget the Bible. Don't let yourself get hard.
Don't do that. Don't don't don't let something I told
my children, fully God saved, they weren't born saved. They
(33:56):
had to get saved. But I told him, now listen,
get hard against that person that comes to you and says,
won't you get saved? Don't let a hardness build up.
If you don't want to go, don't go, but don't
get that hardness in there. Don't get better and hard.
Don't do it. Watch that stuff. Hanld his shirt in
(34:19):
Hebrews the third chapter, in the thirteenth verse, We're gonna
close out here. This is not type messaging that would
really make anybody's shout maybe right here. But have you
got shoulder trouble tonight? Has it got you into it?
You didn't do what God said do and you've been
into it ever since. You didn't do it like God
said do it, and you're still up better creak over it?
Speaker 3 (34:42):
Have you got hard? I hate her? I hate to
meet people. I don't just hate to meet let me.
Speaker 2 (34:48):
I hate you him talk that says they got in
for that preacher, and he got it in for that
preacher and that church down there.
Speaker 3 (34:54):
I ain't nothing dead and I wouldn't go that.
Speaker 1 (34:56):
I ain't nothing to that.
Speaker 3 (34:57):
The first thing, you know, they just don't bitter hard spirit.
They got a hard heart.
Speaker 2 (35:02):
God told that prophet, I'll send you to people whose
forehead is hard. I'll make your forehead harder, I guess, sir,
he said, they're like and a damond stone harder in
front rock. I said, I'll fix you so you can
go in there against it and talk to them and
try to bring them out of it, and try to
get them to listen, try to get them to reason.
We've got a bunch of hard people that should never
(35:25):
never have got in that shape. In the third chapter
of Hebrews thirteen verse but exhort one another daily, talk
to each other, have communion together, fellowship together, exhort one another.
Tell each other what it is called today. Lest any
of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. You
(35:47):
can get hardened in that everybody around you cry, but.
Speaker 1 (35:51):
You can't shed a tear.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
I've got a friend that come home for more.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
He said.
Speaker 2 (35:56):
If I'd have seen mother and daddy laying dead in
the front room, I couldn't have shed a tier, he said,
I could not have shed a tear. He'd take his
old ben at and flip them gold fillings out of
them japs mouths, and they all had them in their
pockets just about all the boys, not everyone, but just
a big part of his bunch. Had them gold feelings,
(36:16):
flipp them right out of their heads. He said, we've
boiled them heads, brother Moore, Well, we've took them heads
and boiled them and we bore them.
Speaker 3 (36:27):
Or what, brother Moore?
Speaker 2 (36:28):
Hard? Hard? Hard?
Speaker 1 (36:34):
You know what?
Speaker 2 (36:35):
We are bringing up a bunch of hard headed people
with shoulder troubles. We teach our boys that go to
college in Oklahoma. I don't but they're taught this. It
owe you Oklahoma University this time of year. You wouldn't
think they taught anything but football, offense and defense. Old
ladies down are didn't you know nothing about it? And
(36:56):
tell you all about a quarterback, back up quarterback. I
don't know what all them positions are? Half back and
full back, no back, and front and back and all that,
you know. I mean, they they got it all. I
mean they can tell it. Ain't know just what the score?
Speaker 3 (37:10):
And you know, if you.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
Don't make number one team. Every every coach has had
in experienced.
Speaker 1 (37:14):
Dolls had uses one time the.
Speaker 2 (37:16):
Out of down there, of course, so much pressures on
him on winning.
Speaker 3 (37:19):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (37:20):
The brother more shoulder trouble? Hard the heart, the heart.
Speaker 3 (37:25):
You know what you're telling them, now watch it.
Speaker 2 (37:27):
We are creating hard hearted people in America. Break his leg.
If we can knock that quarterback out, we can win. Well,
brother Moore, don't mean that much, oh my friend. When
a million dollars is hanging over, that does. Yes, So
when a stadium full of seventy three thousand people, it does.
(37:49):
When it runs into the hunters and hunters and hundreds
of thousand dollars in ticket sales from UH and then
runs into the man, the man out of Las Vegas
with his odds, you're talking about multiplied millions of dollars
on one big game.
Speaker 3 (38:03):
Nice reason.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
The poor boys takes Harron had a old horse and
pops herself up with that dope piano bust one ribs in.
But he's a door set, he's a tony dorset. So
you wrap him up as tight as you can and
shoot a little stuff in earnder dead and that, and
put him back in there. Even if you kill him,
you won.
Speaker 3 (38:25):
Now think of that, you would.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
We hit him as low as you can and as
hard as you can if you have a brain concussion.
Remember you did it so we could win. Son old
Rockney used to get him in the in the in
the room with him, and he'd say, go out there
(38:49):
and win, win, win, win. They had run into a
brick wall. Five they had run wide open in to
man if it killed them. We don't want you to
be a sissy. We don't want you to be tough.
Pull his shoulder away from mercy, pull his shoulder away
(39:11):
from kindness, pull his shoulder away from love. Create and
build up in them a desire to defeat the enemy.
If they have to kill him to do it, they'll
clap hands and shout when they haul some quarterbacks off
of that field. Yes, still do it. We got him
out of there. We can win now. I talked to
(39:34):
a former boxer. He is a good and he said,
I tell you how one l d I bur hugged
him and hit him low upper, cutting them all awhad
I'm burr hugged. He said, I hit him every way
I can hit him along while they couldn't see me,
I beat him up. I made a clinch every time
I could, my high son, here you are, God love you,
I could see. Said I done him dirty every way
I could do them to win that old teaching children
(39:57):
to fish fight and to be a her if you
have to do it as somebody else's expense of their
health or their physical condition. In this creed, a bunch
of hard hearted people with a shoulder pulled away from righteousness.
And so you may think I'm mean tonight, but bless
my heart, I'm not. The old world has to make
(40:17):
the church look silly, oh, having church and shouting and
praising God, getting off of dope, getting off of a backer,
getting knowledge of little house, learning how to pay your
bills and treat your wife right and live good. That's crazy,
I tell you what's crazy to me. Get out there
and chase each other other up and down the football
field after a peach skin of poor now rain, Get
(40:42):
on airplane, spend half your savings, you go Las Vegas
and lose the other half. All you up there and
get back home. Tell what a big time you had.
I think that's crazy. Fly cli to the west coat
you see the monkeys playing the birds, and get out
there and sing. You holler yourself horse, drink yourself drunk
and lose your wi she just nearly lose your billfall.
Come home with a lern shin us and been out
(41:03):
of a thousand and two thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (41:05):
For we're so happy we want. I don't know whether
they are not.
Speaker 1 (41:11):
All right.
Speaker 2 (41:12):
I am not a mis ady stored Baptist. I mean,
hold in this, preacher, God, are you backing me, Schister Collins,
don't do it if it will be of expense to you.
Hold us.
Speaker 3 (41:27):
But you can't tell me.
Speaker 2 (41:32):
I run my own shore. I'm not a fanatic, I've
never been. I don't preach against necktie, chewing, gum, sodipop.
I ain't got tying the food with tea coffee. It's
too many big birds to shoot that, too many things.
It means something. But when I tell a woman that
a dress up to there on her is revealing her body,
(41:52):
and she shouldn't worry, she shouldn't get that shoulder ache,
corner and shoulder, listen to me. Tell mothers they let
tell little girls go to school, and let them educators
up there strip them down and keep their legs and
expose everything they've got to everybody that's around them.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
It's wrong.
Speaker 2 (42:11):
Until we get back to morality in America, in decency,
we're not gonna have no righteousness like we used to have.
It's when men live right and do write that the
mercive God is in the heart and the love.
Speaker 1 (42:23):
Of God is there.
Speaker 3 (42:24):
It's when to get rid of that shoulder trouble.
Speaker 2 (42:30):
I hold be mean to you. I'm not trying to
be had a mother and a church, a pastor man.
She got mad, hard hearted at me, had on sin
how many she said, if I get away with hard
headed preacher, won't ask my girls a sing. You used
to ask her all time, and ask them by the
young people, won't ask her.
Speaker 3 (42:50):
He's mean.
Speaker 2 (42:51):
Finally got to want the showmen's have had she did.
Speaker 3 (42:55):
I will not just fish give it all.
Speaker 2 (42:57):
She ate nothing, hold.
Speaker 3 (43:00):
Something and you know how woman can do, ladies. I mean,
you know how a man can do when he gets mad.
Speaker 1 (43:04):
But I mean she really.
Speaker 2 (43:06):
Got with it.
Speaker 3 (43:08):
You know.
Speaker 2 (43:08):
It's a shame I couldn't tell her that the Lord
revealed to me that she's pregnant by her boyfriend. It
took several months for that to prove. In the meantime,
I just had let her have that hard headed fit
shoulder trouble. She'd have stayed by the man of God
and behaved herself. They wouldn't have to sneak off to
(43:30):
got the Samy of God, preacher of the moroment. I'm
not knocking assembly for it, but left my church once
you finally found out what was going on. She had done,
had so many fits, and run so far from God,
and got so hard headed till she wouldn't admit. What
would I have done forgive her in a minute. Weren't
hold it against her now? Not a bit why I've
met her many times since then. Pray for my brother,
will pray far. Don't hold it yainst that child at home?
(43:51):
But she pulled it shoulder away, got shulder trouble off me. See,
wouldn't listen to the man of God. Could you tell
her that? No?
Speaker 1 (43:59):
You could.
Speaker 2 (44:00):
I couldn't either. I wouldn't have thought of telling her that,
But the Lord told me he's never wrong, He's never wrong.
Shoulder trouble producing hard heads and hard hearts. You'll do
more if you're yielding yourself to the devil, you'll do
more for him than you will for God. If you're
(44:20):
not careful when you yield to God, you'll become hard
hearted and hard headed and betious, unheteful, and you won't listen.
I don't know who I'm talking to.
Speaker 3 (44:29):
I didn't come up.
Speaker 2 (44:30):
You won't tell anybody a bunch of things. I don't
want to ruin myself. The only reason Jane Touney whipped
Jack Dempsey was because he ran backwards. As far as
he run forwards, you could meet Gene Tuney running down
the road backwards. He practiced running backwards. Why he knew
that Jack was the Minneapolis maller you ever got caught
(44:54):
with that fellow's fist, he is gone. And he practiced
going back, which as much as he did for if
they'll ask him. He said, I'm developing my retreat muscles.
And Jack never got him either. I ha looked like
he did, but he didn't. If it had tapped him good,
he wouldn't have never got up. He didn't. He learned
(45:18):
to get away from it. People will train and put themselves, Sue,
I don't know what, just to get their selves physically
hardened so they can do things in this life. In
the process. In the process a lot of time, they
hardened their hearts against God, against the Bible. We cannot
(45:41):
picture our generals as weeping men like Brother Charge was.
We cannot picture our leaders as weeping men. We simply
picture them like we do. MacArthur with his old fatigues
on stanning up there looking at him in the face,
saying they couldn't hit the sight of a barn with
a gun, not scared of nothing. I'm touched by him.
(46:03):
I had great admiration for him. But when you're talking
about living right, when you're talking about an experience with God,
when you're talking about being ready when you die, you
can't be a hard headed, hard hearted, stubborn person with
that shoulder trouble and make it. You've got to have mercy.
I like that old brother down south, he has a
(46:25):
preacher done him wrong, And I hold he did down south?
Speaker 3 (46:29):
Or where are you from down there, Alabama?
Speaker 2 (46:31):
For it happened you from Mississippi? And you know what
down there done him wrong? But the preacher done a
little work well and on stuff. Preacher's dead now he'd
done this preacher wrong, but he weld it on stuff.
And you know when this old preacher man got something
he needed, well, it just went right back in like
he had never been.
Speaker 3 (46:50):
Anything happened. He didn't do the fellow wrong start with.
Speaker 2 (46:54):
He said, it brought you some well and it needed done.
You brought me welling yere, you've always done my weld.
He well, did it? You know what got hard to well?
That ford is over, he said. Listen on, talk to
you about that deal. He told him all about it.
And dear old brother Jack Corley said, it's chest like
(47:17):
it was for it happened. It never did make me bitter.
I never did feel hard at you about it, he said,
it just like it was for it happened, not hard
about it.
Speaker 1 (47:29):
Yeah, who.
Speaker 2 (47:33):
Have an ocean tarrying here and preach about ourist for
the glory of God.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
You ain't having shoulder trouble on you?
Speaker 2 (47:43):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (47:44):
How about you and your wife?
Speaker 2 (47:49):
Huh?
Speaker 1 (47:52):
I know some folse for us to be saved, go
week without speaking to each.
Speaker 2 (47:55):
Other, husband, wife, go week speaking to each other. Can't
make it like that. You do better to eat her
bread if it never did, putting no salt in it
and say nothing. And rather than have an old hardness
between you, bless God, you'd do better to detaged if
(48:17):
it ain't cooked like you want them, rather than to
create an all hard hearted spirit between you. You knew
I'd preach holdness to you, didn't you lest any of
you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. Don't be
an old hard head. I'm gonna have to stop. It's
all in here. There's much more to this. Jesus marveled
(48:40):
when in where fellow needed hemp had a with and
hand need to be healed, and.
Speaker 1 (48:45):
The charts folk were uh hard hearted.
Speaker 2 (48:51):
Jesus marveled at their hard hearts, marveled at it.
Speaker 1 (48:58):
Don't want it to be healed.
Speaker 2 (49:00):
I had a meeting in the state of Missouri, and
as a fellow had heart troubles. Some bed dark said,
if you raise his head, he'll die. Buddy, I slept
on the bed. He bought him down, said, if you
raise his head, he'll die. Why, they had a meeting
across the country, and the fellaw's praying folks to be here.
And and your son in law took the front seat
down that old, that old Ford car, and took the
back seat down and set a cot through there, slaunched
(49:22):
ways and put an orange crate over there for us
to set on while they drove it. And Lord his
father in law in there, and the doctor told him
knew him well, said he'll die for a cross as
a railroad track down here on a half a mile said.
Speaker 3 (49:34):
He can't never make it. Well, They hauled him out there,
got him.
Speaker 2 (49:37):
To the meeting, put the cot down back count an
old boys a preaching look back there and said, brother,
you've got heart trouble.
Speaker 3 (49:43):
Said that I'm gonna pray for him.
Speaker 1 (49:45):
God will heal you.
Speaker 2 (49:45):
Say you don't have to come up here. God hear
you right there, went to praying for him, and and
and and when he went to where he's gonna stay
that night, he couldn't never walk up steps. He walked
up steps into the cabin and had render stay in.
And he said, a Wei should have shook hand with
the preacher said you did three times that I didn't
ny it.
Speaker 3 (50:06):
You talk about God shouting him out there. He shouted him.
Speaker 2 (50:09):
All over there, and he went back home into the
hall church. He over the power of God.
Speaker 1 (50:17):
Aleless folks out of church there.
Speaker 2 (50:20):
And they said, why didn't they get healed here?
Speaker 1 (50:22):
If he is going to get healed, why.
Speaker 2 (50:23):
They have to run off up or to get healed.
He marveled at their hard hearts when they wasn't happy
to see the matters the weathered hand heal. I'm gonna
tell you one thing, I'm not a Baptist. But blessed
mart if you go down on tomorrow night and get healed,
and come back up here and tell me Jesus Christ
healed you, we gonna shout a circle around.
Speaker 1 (50:43):
The pull peck with you over it.
Speaker 2 (50:46):
Of course you got healed. Brought him a big old drum,
big old based drum. Couldn't play all him like that,
boy done, I didn't he do good on it. Brought
one of the big things there and backed up in
the corner. Couldn't sing specials. Couldn't do nothing. But I
want to preach up there, and every once follow you hear.
Speaker 1 (51:01):
Something boomp boomp boom. Just right, he is doing what
he could.
Speaker 2 (51:10):
He likes to pull his shoulder way before he got saved.
There's having him eating down there in the cold winter time, freezing.
The big old cold cold stove sat in the middle
of house cherry red. Y'all ever do like that? Catch
a house on far? We he used to catch house
on far in Oklahoma. Didn't know ahim about the insulation.
Just on a breath of buck of water and pour
it right down around the pipe. We just get him
some hot to catch house on far. They're sitting there
breathing for each death twelve foot from it early, I
(51:30):
mean now wind blowing through the crash. But we just
building forest, you know. And they just one night while
old brother that got healed of his heart trouble, Old
Pap Douglas. His girl's going up first. I'll go upr
and get her out of there. Just a pir chasing boys.
He is hard against it, but you don't want you
better listen, Let God break that old heart. Heart up,
get willing that God, help you get your mind off
(51:51):
what somebody said about you. Wught somebody done to you?
See if you can get ahold of God, deal a
sweetness in there, help somebody. If you're a tight you
can't hold it by your ice cream cone. Give somebody
five dollars tonight. Glory there. God went up there to
get this girl. He is lost, sat down on the back,
said he just come up here to chase boys. Anyhow,
(52:12):
when I come up here and drag him out and
bring them home. That happened Mulberry, Kansas. He went in
at the stove with Cherry Red and there's a girl.
Boy's going through this girl dancing in the spirit, shouting
and dancing that Murray boy danced right around and know
both of them Mallelle danced around, laid his hands on
top of that cherry red stove with his eyes shut.
A dancer. Old Paul raised up and said, great, God,
(52:34):
he's running his hands forever.
Speaker 1 (52:36):
Never be doing all the name words.
Speaker 2 (52:38):
It's fried. I'm just like frying bacon and silly thing.
You know what I'm talking about? Why I didn't do
a thing with Just dance away from mare, dance around,
come back around, his eyes shut.
Speaker 3 (52:48):
Laid his hand right back on her again.
Speaker 1 (52:53):
You know who hit the altar a little bit?
Speaker 2 (52:55):
You guessed it. Prayed too. It's a miracle. I don't
have try. It's not interesting enough. You deserve more than
this for your money. You know what. I went over
there and priest after God healed him and slept on
the bed he's supposed to down, and drove out of
(53:15):
town to go home.
Speaker 1 (53:16):
Ben gone for weeks, wanting to go home. Drove out town.
Speaker 2 (53:19):
God said, you turn around and go back and preach
her tonight.
Speaker 1 (53:22):
God, I said, if you want me to put.
Speaker 2 (53:24):
Paul Douglas out in the yard when I come back by,
drove a few miles back to town. He is eating
fix and sit down and eat dinner across the little
foot bridge behind the house to his daughter's house, and
they said, sit down, Dad, neat He said, what's matter
with me?
Speaker 1 (53:37):
But he can't do it.
Speaker 2 (53:38):
He said, I don't want the world's wrong, but it
can't sit down. Well said, I'm going.
Speaker 3 (53:41):
Back to the house.
Speaker 2 (53:42):
Well, what's the matter, Papa hust don't know? Children that
can't explain. I just have to go back to the house.
Speaker 1 (53:47):
That's all I can tell you.
Speaker 2 (53:49):
Well said, take this chicken leg with you anyhow, this bread,
the chicken leg. And when I drove down the road,
he's coming around inside the house, that chicken leg.
Speaker 3 (53:57):
He ain't.
Speaker 1 (53:58):
God don't know where you live.
Speaker 3 (54:00):
You, Thank God, I don't know your name. What made
you tell all that? Brother Moore?
Speaker 2 (54:07):
Jesus marveled at the hardness of their hearts in the
Book of Mark, when here's a man with a withered hand,
give anything for you could reach after I thought the
other hand of that word, But he couldn't. And he
marveled at the hardness of their hearts. Now you can
be healed any other day, but the Sabbath day. They
didn't want him here no day, and they couldn't get
him here no day. If they could he have done
been healed. They couldn't do nothing any day. The devil's
(54:29):
always got some excuse, always full of some excuse, always
got some old set excuse. Jesus marveled at the hardest hearts,
And I'm marveled at that church that man when the
thorne got healed, and they said, well, why didn't he
get healed here? They wanted to get here. Why didn't
she get the Holy ghost over there at day and
not get it here at our church at Hamilton? Why
(54:53):
didn't they go down the Hickses and get all stirred
up and get saved, or get the Holy ghost? Why
didn't they get it here? We ain't careful. We'll get
a hard feeling amongst ourselves because of God's power. That's
a will to work in any minute anywhere where men
are willing to yield. Call a half of on a
treat banker in the church, in the yard.
Speaker 3 (55:12):
Out there in the.
Speaker 1 (55:12):
Parking lot.
Speaker 2 (55:15):
Meeting, I held a man bearing Arkansas broke out in
the man's backyard. Couldn't get nothing to move up to
the church house. And I'm not a knocking into bit either,
But we just wasn't getting nothing moving up.
Speaker 3 (55:23):
But God knows what to do.
Speaker 2 (55:25):
They wouldn't heal them. Come to the altar there and
God wait to let fellow got in his backyard and
the home and the power of God showered down on
the l and they said, I'm lost. I don't need
to prayer.
Speaker 1 (55:32):
I should have paid up town him.
Speaker 2 (55:33):
But it didn't, and pray with me here, and we
just got out in the moon light in the backyard
and paid him through. And that's where the meeting broke out.
And that's fella's backyard. Now he ain't got no shoulder
trouble head. Well it take more sloan clenning man to
get rid of. You can get you some of the sermons, Junior, dude,
like Daddy done. He saw us. If Sorvin Junior's done
good of a sermon singer, you'll be just good as
(55:54):
made f animals.
Speaker 1 (55:54):
But he uses it.
Speaker 3 (55:57):
My daddy used it, his old timer.
Speaker 2 (56:00):
You got some shoulders trouble children.
Speaker 3 (56:04):
And they made that hard hard downstream.
Speaker 2 (56:09):
You couldn't touch them with nothing.
Speaker 3 (56:11):
You could sing, amazing grace.
Speaker 2 (56:12):
The tears run down your face and ever sins face. Third,
and they wouldn't drunk couldn't get nothing out of it.
We in a materialistic generation.
Speaker 1 (56:22):
It's the flesh.
Speaker 2 (56:26):
Get yourself in sheep, Get yourself in sheep.
Speaker 3 (56:30):
That's what the music is now.
Speaker 2 (56:32):
The great athlete break all the records, we'll be losing
out spiritually. We'll have much spiritual development, no power to
overcome hardy. The only reason you can't preach against sin
like we used to because folks don't quit it like
they used to, and they can't seem to quit it,
and they do anything under heaven nearly, and it's justified.
(56:52):
Couples at the Oklahoma University down there is held in
high steam. And movie actresses and movie actors are too,
And don't me, I don't know what I'm saying. Their
names are held high. And this is that I'm rid
of one. The other day they're going to get married.
This this great man and this movie actress is gonna
get married. And there's six year old son is going
(57:13):
to be the ringbeard and they're sixth im on I
herds here here's there, six year old son is going
to be their ringburd not one word against it. You
can be a prominent person, high end society and have
nothing but illegitimate children, not be married to the woman
(57:35):
you're living with, and bring her in where you're at.
Speaker 1 (57:37):
And we have a judge right down in Oklahoma that's
doing that very thing.
Speaker 2 (57:41):
If the pressure gets on just a little, he just
turns a case over to another one. But he ain't
out of business. I had a case the other day
he is supposed to prosecute down there, and brought that
that woman before him, and she said, well, I don't
know where's supposed to try the case, and I don't
have any where to stay tonight, said well, you stay
at our house. And the word got out on him
(58:03):
and it sounded pretty bad, and he put somebody else
in charge of it.
Speaker 1 (58:05):
Before he did, he told him why there.
Speaker 3 (58:07):
Nothing went on over there.
Speaker 2 (58:08):
Me and my girlfriend slept in our room and she
slept on the couch. She just didn't have anywhere to stay,
and we thought we ought to give her a place
to stay.
Speaker 3 (58:14):
There was nothing went.
Speaker 2 (58:15):
On that was wrong. Yeah.
Speaker 3 (58:19):
Now, if I tell us something like that and that
ain't so, I'm into it, ain't I.
Speaker 2 (58:24):
Well, it's so, he said. Me and my girlfriend went
in our bedroom and she slept on the couch. There
was nothing went wrong in that out. Yeah, we just
lost the Speaker of the House down in Oklahoma because
they caught him WALLEYE drunk care while back and come
(58:45):
to find out that he messed up in the election
trying to get a friend in and mishandled some ballots
and we liked and never got him out. Hard hearted.
Tell me what to do, I'll run on shore. If
they don't like what I do, I'll go somewhere else
(59:06):
and do it. You may be like that preacher said
his car was a feminine car and only hauled in
it was women. Everybody knew it. If they didn't like it,
taking lump it or quit his church. He is a
ladies man. Tell you what, boys, I'm glad we got
a good board here, and I'm glad helll ain't that time.
But if you ever get one like that here, just
(59:27):
call a board meeting and have I showed down right,
offer to pray him through.
Speaker 1 (59:33):
And get him saved. Amen.
Speaker 2 (59:36):
Don't you wish I'd haul off and say some things
that it stir you get out of that old habiness,
and you ain't gonna tell me.
Speaker 1 (59:42):
I'll do what I want to. I'll go like, Yeah,
that's why I put boys in.
Speaker 3 (59:46):
A pen right now tonight.
Speaker 1 (59:47):
They wouldn't listen to anything anybody told them.
Speaker 2 (59:51):
Us.
Speaker 3 (59:51):
All stand God, love your heart.
Speaker 2 (59:52):
I don't know if the one here that's guilty of anything,
I don't I don't know if anybody here that's actually
guilty of anything I preach, But I'm I want to
ask you to do one thing for me. Letus come
down here and seek God that we are not getting this.
Speaker 3 (01:00:05):
Shoulder trouble we're having across America.
Speaker 1 (01:00:08):
Us.
Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
Everybody come and seek God and beg Him to help
us not get in that shoulder trouble.
Speaker 3 (01:00:12):
It's everywhere I've been. I'm sure there's a touch of
it here in this town.
Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
And it may be a touch
