tick yesterday, said she could feel it on her leg,
didn't really look at it, but she got down, got
the old tick and throwed it away. And her granny said, well,
you know those little ticks or what gives you rocky
mountain fever, don't you?
Speaker 2 (02:56):

you got to get the picture. When you cut the

front of your face.

And all of a sudden, Abigail turned over and seen
four big red spots.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
She said, I got it, Grandy, I got it. I
got out of the seat, all four red spots.

man didn't give my heart and life to the Lord,
But the Lord save me by his right hand. Praise God.
He man Exes Chapter fifteen, verse six. The Bible says,
thy right hand has become glorious in power, and thy

Hello, you look, you'll look there. His right hand.
Speaker 1 (07:13):

under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.
The left hand is behind the head. You can't see
the left hand. You can see his right hand, but
you can't see his left hand. His left hand's doing
(07:35):

Speaker 2 (09:24):
So he starts reading, and.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Uh, glory to God he mad and on that night
could not the king sleep? Oh Hallywood could get couldn't

Speaker 5 (10:36):
On that night could not the king sleep, and he
commanded to bring the book of the Records of the Chronicles,

the keepers of the door who sought to lay hands
on King of hashararas Wow, a.
Speaker 3 (11:01):

Speaker 1 (11:10):
And here I am he man, I didn't even know
anything about it.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
Well, didn't do anything for the guy?
Speaker 1 (11:18):
Had? All he mad was did anything been good done
for that guy?
Speaker 2 (11:22):
He mad?
Speaker 1 (11:23):
They said no, he said, after saving my life, he man,
and nothing done good to him?
Speaker 2 (11:29):
He matter? Now here you go, he man.
Speaker 1 (11:32):
Do you know what God just done in that sixth chapter,
in that first verse he saved the entire nation.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
Of his rule.
Speaker 3 (11:41):
AGD, hallelujah.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Well, let me tell you something tonight. The first time
he stuck out his right arm, and that sea parted
the Red Sea party. The second time, here he saved
Embiah's left hand, his left hand, he man was insomnia,
He man, where Gord to godtin you saith?
Speaker 2 (12:02):
The first time he saved him? Amen, My partner Red said,
the left hand of God saved.
Speaker 3 (12:08):
Him by insidnire? Amen?
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Which one would you rather been saved by? Well?
Speaker 1 (12:19):
I really don't care, as long as God saves me.
He mad, hallelujah. The only thing is he mad by
his right arm, a man his right head. Everybody know
God done it, but God done it again, and nobody
know God done it.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
Something.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Hallelujah.
Speaker 2 (12:42):
Amen.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
Whoa Uh.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
I got one of them papers in the mail, and uh,
I don't know if you got one or us, but
it said all of my ancestry as it was put
together in a book. And they wanted to tell me
about how my all the Roberts's helped build this great America.
(13:14):
Oh man, he said, boy boy, wouldn't this be something
preacher about Gord to God?
Speaker 2 (13:20):
If I could tell him? Oh?
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Oh, John Henry Roberts he had when America was going down.
He made George Washington was out front. But oh John
Henry Roberts took him a horse that was shot out
from under him. And one of the ways we won
the Civil War with John Henry helped war. George Washington
went in the Civil War revolutionary war. If I hadn't
(13:46):
said revolutionary, he bed, none of you to probably call it.
Speaker 2 (13:50):
You call it, But here you go.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
I thought, you sure as God God's name, somebody had
done something back there to help save America. So they
wanted thirty five dollars. They wanted thirty five dollars for
the book. Now you're not buying these sermon books and
sister savages for ten, so you know how hard it
is to sell one for thirty five, right right?
Speaker 2 (14:17):
Hell, So I said, well, it'd.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
Be worth it, you know, if I could preach and
tell people how that the robbers. Hey, now, some of
my people done pretty good. We are the chief justice
on the Supreme Court. You know we didn't do that bath.
We really ain't done that bath. But so I ordered
a book. Here it come in to mail, thirty five dollars.
(14:47):
I grabbed that dude. I took her in my study.
I took me a knife and I cut her open.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
He bannon.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
I was looking, I said, when we get here. I
want to see the first one at ever landed in America.
You know how we got here when we the first
Roberts was in America eighteen and fifty fifty. My God,
it's about over, wasn't it, Lord? I mean, the war's
(15:16):
almost all the wars boast over, and none of us
even helped, Praise God. That's a bad position to being,
ain't it. So I got to study. I got another
old book I found down here in Ronoke in an
old bookshelves, and it was in the back of the book,
and the name of the book was God's Hand in
(15:38):
American History.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
And he got to telling about.
Speaker 1 (15:44):
All the famines he bed that that had been in
the in the world. And he got to tell him
about You see, I'm from Ireland. My people were in
Northern Ireland. All of us were in Northern Ireland. We
were stuck up there in the dire arm cast of Catholicism. Yeah,
(16:05):
every one, every Roberts they had in the known world
at that time, were in Northern Ireland.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
He mad under Catholicism. He mad.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
But in eighteen forty five God sent a potato rot.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
He had, yes, he did, he.
Speaker 1 (16:21):
Had, And my forefathers started starving by the thousands and
millions he had during that potato rot they had, you
know what the Catholic's done form. They went out turn
sprinkled the holy water over the rotten potato hills. He
had brother, he had never helped to let capad. Do
you know what the Protestants did in England? They set
(16:42):
them eleven million dollars worth of food to eat. Ta
bad oh hallelujah. So we started kicking out. Hey, those
starving to death Catholics in Northern Highland, they could tell
the difference between holy water and something real to eat
tapad God, Oh, hey, Church, let me tell you she
(17:03):
had one way. I could have been a Catholic priest tonight,
he man if God had her runner south of northern
and hey, mad by potato.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Roth had a family here?
Speaker 1 (17:14):
What God did, say us by his right hand? God
sake us left hand. Whoa helluah, he man, woh, thank
God for God's left hand.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Whoa?
Speaker 2 (17:33):
So here you go and uh.
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Uh, I'm gonna have to be honest for everybody here.
I'm an old beetle fan, you know, remember the Beatles.
I tell you all the new generation you're saying Beetle
who I'm not talking about Beetle Bailey.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
Huh. Good to God. Huh.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
So I heard them sing about Henry the Eighth, And
that's only the only history I ever had, Only Henry
the aiths in my life was when Ringo and Paul
them was a spitting out, he's Henry the Eighth, I am,
I am, I am. I thought it was sort of stupid.
I thought it was sort of stupid, you know, singing
(18:26):
about Henry the Eighth. But I didn't know anything about
Henry Eith. But here you go in in fifteen twenty six,
Henry the Eighth took over as King of England. Now
he was a cagey old guy and he was jealous
of power, and so he married a queen by the
(18:48):
name of uh, the Catherine of Argon. He married her
and he had a kid Buyer and his first child
by by h Catherine was a woman by the name
of Mary. They had so but he wasn't interested in girls.
He wanted a boy, so uh he said, I got.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
To get rid of her.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
And in the Catholic Church has always been UH been
against divorce and remarriage. So old Henry said, I put
(19:29):
a stop to that. I'll put a stop to that.
So he incorporated the doctrine of royal supremacy. He's been
that way, uh, And royal supremacy is simply this. If
something happens and it's contrary to how I feel with
the Catholic Church, royal supremacy takes over.
Speaker 2 (19:50):
Now we've got a bunch of.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Henry A's with us here tonight. They've had Henry ain't
dead at all. Henry's not dead at all.
Speaker 2 (19:59):
They've had you.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
Invoke the doctrine a man of self supremacy.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
By God, y'all looking at me? Strange? How he loo,
i' gonna put my glasses back on.
Speaker 3 (20:12):
And look at you.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
So you get around the pope and get around the
Catholic Church. He just invoked the doctrine of royal supremacy.
So he got rid of Catherine and he married a
woman by the name of Anne Boleyn. Now, if you're British,
that's Bouling. But if you're a hell billy, that's Boleyn.
(20:37):
So he has a daughter by her, and her name
is Elizabeth. And he just can't kick it with these girls.
Hey man, he wants a boy. He wants somebody to
lead after he's gone. Hey man, So he has Anne's
head cut off, Ayman, and he had Elizabeth declared illegitimate.
Speaker 2 (20:58):
That's why Old Henry and all that.
Speaker 1 (21:01):
So he dies in the fifteen fifty six he dies
Aben and Bloody Mary. See they do it in lie.
Mary was his first child, so she becomes a queen.
Queen Bloody Murray. She is Catholic, head to head and
toe to toe. She's Catholic. So she Now, I've got
(21:25):
to take my time here. I want to teach these
young people, little son. When you say the word Protestant,
it means Protestant. We are Protestants because we are protesting
the Catholic Church.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
He man, it's that simple, is that all right? A man?
Who do you got?
Speaker 1 (21:43):
So Bloody Mary she kills and has has puts to
death over three hundred Protestant preachers.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
That's why she got the name of Bloody Murray. Amen.
So old Mary Elizabeth sensus.
Speaker 1 (22:01):
If she finds out that I don't love the Catholic
Church like she loves a Catholic Church, she said, she'll
kill me, I know, and she would have, well, she'd
have killed her in the battle of her But Mary
didn't like Elizabeth. So she said, I'll tell you what
I'll do. I'll put her in a London tower. That's
(22:24):
that's their stretch place. That's the worst prison that you
could ever imagined, was a London tower. So Mary sends
Elizabeth to the London Tower. And here is word, brother Brent.
She got her own experience. Oh God, when she got
inside that tower and got inside that prison house, she said,
(22:45):
they ain't but one way out.
Speaker 2 (22:46):
Of here, and that's a pray my way out of here.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
Oh she was right to you, mat brother. She got down,
she got the business with God. She said, Old, my God,
he better if you'll let me out of here. And
I hit the chance, I'll stand for you.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
Whoa.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
Now, I'm gonna tell you something. Don't you ever ask
God for a B fifty two bomber unless you got
a place to park it a head on you, because that's.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Exactly what God it's going to give you.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
Whoa.
Speaker 2 (23:17):
So she prayed, and she prayed for.
Speaker 1 (23:19):
Ninety days, and something unusual happened. They went up to her,
knocked on her door and said, you're freed.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
From the teller.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
Nobody in history had ever walked that had been putting
her and in prison.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
Had walked out of there alive.
Speaker 1 (23:34):
But Elizabeth whea and I say this, I want you
to hear me. For the rest of her days, she
wrote psalms and prayers and prayed to God and thanked
him till the very day she died. She thanked God
for answering her prayer and getting her out of that prison. Well,
Mary is not gonna live forever. Amen, And she died
(23:59):
in the fifteen fifteen fifty eight. Bloody Mary died and
Elizabeth become queen. She goes up, she gets her court together.
As soon as you're annointed a queen her name Queen,
you have your coronation. So she goes up and she
(24:19):
tells her boy. She said, listen, bored. She said, well,
this court back in, but bored today. I mean not
court is court court, but court court court. Yeah, and
here's what she tells them. She said, listen, I'm gonna
be a I'm gonna be coronated queen. And Bishop ogle
(24:42):
Fort is a Catholic priest. At this time, she tells
the old priest or her court. She said, he is
not gonna have transubstantiation. Amen, at my coronation I'm not
putting up with it, hey, mad she said, I'm the
new queen and she is not going to ear interfere
with my coronation with transubstantiation. Now, how many here tonight
(25:05):
know what transubstantiation is? Just a few?
Speaker 2 (25:09):
All right? A transubstantiation one.
Speaker 1 (25:11):
Oh one you're getting ready to have when they do
it today, church, they do it right today. They're doing
it Sunday. Hey man, it's on tab for Sunday. But
they believe when they pray over the wine and the
bread that it turns the.
Speaker 2 (25:26):
Very blood that's in Jesus's days and the very very
flesh that is on his bones. That is what transubstantiation is.
A man who you believe? They believe that today. Huh
Gord to God, Oh halleluah.
Speaker 1 (25:43):
I have preached before that I that I have thought
at times that Jacob was a Catholic priest.
Speaker 2 (25:49):
He because he's so he could give them goats meat
and make them think it was venison. Praise God. That's
what the Catholic Church does, ay man.
Speaker 1 (25:58):
They give them goats meat and tell them it's venison.
WHOA hallelujah. So while I'm here, let me tell you
what else the Catholic Church does, and she despised every
bit of it. She thinks she's seen through the hypocrisy
of it. They sell indulgences. Had you pick out the
(26:25):
sin you want to commit, and then you go up
to the Catholic priest, say, hey, how much is this
sin here? I'd like to look a little porno tonight.
He'll look it over his old indulgence booker. Oh, fifty
five dollars.
Speaker 2 (26:39):
Here you go. Now, if you look at it and
you die, you're all right? Is that groovy or not?
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Huh? The Catholic Church believes that, even while I am
preaching under you now, they believe in the doctrine of absolution.
The doctrine of absolution A sip this. If you are
in the Pope's presence, he can grant everybody sends here
to be absolved. And if you die, you go to
(27:09):
heaven sin free.
Speaker 2 (27:11):
That's groovy in it. God have mercy, heyben. And then
they believe in the.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
The afterlife that you can go to purgatory. In other words,
you die, you're fit to go to hell, but they'll
send you to purgatory. You burn this two or three
weeks sap you're out of there and on your way
to heaven again. Catherine Elizabeth didn't believe any of that.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
Oh God.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
So she comes up to her coronation. She's gonna butt heads.
She's gonna butt heads with a Catholic church, a man
lord of God. So there she is at her coronation,
and here Oglethorpe's already been told no transubstantiation. At her
coronation day, Oglethorpe starts down the isle and she is incensed.
Speaker 2 (27:59):
What in the world's he doing here?
Speaker 1 (28:01):
Now here's where Elizabeth differs from a lot of us.
She got up off her throne. She walked down as
she pointed her finger at Oglethorpe, and she said, Aha,
ay man, you know what he done. He never been
told that before his life.
Speaker 2 (28:18):
You know what he done. He got up and got
out of there. Praise God.
Speaker 1 (28:21):
Oh hey, man, I wish we had some preachers with
the guts love quite a lesson.
Speaker 2 (28:27):
They bad God, Have mercy, God, have mercy.
Speaker 3 (28:32):
My God. Somebody to stand up and say something is wrong.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
So she goes back and she tells the Pope. Oh,
Oglethorpe goes back and tells Pope, hey, we got one
down here. In England now don't want under papula authority.
And the old pope says, oh my god, what you do?
Speaker 2 (29:00):
Said? She throwed me out the.
Speaker 1 (29:01):
Meeting that day, o the God even but all the time,
somebody get me a Bible, Hand me a Bible right.
Speaker 2 (29:13):

I do. If you kept singing that song tonight, I
couldn't have got out of him preach. I couldn't get
myself together the church I was in the office trill
(38:52):
that ever been in my life. Oh God, you don't
know what it is to sweat and pray and cry
and visited and fast, Amen, and put your whole life
into work, and all of a.
Speaker 2 (39:06):
Sudden you see that it's going to disappear right in
front of your face. God, God, don't you appreciate the
work that a man of God does for you and
building that church? And don't you appreciate it none at all? Now?
I don't look like it. I don't look like it,
(39:27):
broke Paul. I don't look like no faster. But I went.
I fasted twenty one days. I laid it.
Speaker 1 (39:35):
I cried, and I had to work every day. I
worked seven days a week. I worked on that church
six days a week, and I preached twice on Sundays.
Oh God, Amen, and I suffered. My boys broke down
and cried. I was a packing three quarter plywood and
I has thrown it up on the Rossam and old John,
and being broke down and cried, they said, Oh my god, Daddy,
(39:58):
you're going to king.
Speaker 3 (39:59):
You say we won't.
Speaker 1 (40:00):
No Daddy, Amen my day, than listen to me, buddy.
I got that song of yours that you sung a
wal ago. I played and I cried, and I thought
I was gonna literally die the nineteenth day, and I
put that song on. You can pray on God, and
somehow God forgive me a strength to go on and
(40:22):
finish out the twenty one days that I faced. The
Saturday before I come down here, I laid on my
face and prayed eight solid hours. I never got up.
I prayed for this camp meeting. I wanted to see
hundreds of souls come to the order.
Speaker 2 (40:39):
I really did. Oh God. I wanted to preach Amen
and the loss pour out of there, but they ate.
Speaker 3 (40:48):

you left hand. You're moving by your left hand.
Speaker 3 (41:10):
Thank God for it.
Speaker 1 (41:14):
I've got to quit. I've got to quit. Come to
the altar, come to the piano. I'm gonna say one
last thing, one last thing, and I'm gonna quit.
Speaker 2 (41:26):
Oh, Paul went to Rome. He had to go to Rome.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
Amen, And I love it because the devil had to
pay for the ticket. God sent him to Rome, but
the devil had to pay for the ticket.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
Amen. And so so in Claussians, Chapter four, verse three.
Speaker 1 (41:52):
He said, with all pray also for us, that God
would open to us a door of utterance to speak
the mystery of Christ, which I am all.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
So in bonds, you chain, you chained. Now listen to me, preacher.
When the devil says, I got you. Now you're in chains,
watch out.
Speaker 1 (42:12):
Why does he have to tell brother Eddie if he's
got you, come on here? Now he had, oh he had?
And then Clossians four and eighteen, Paul writes to coloss
and he says, remember my bonds, I'm chained up down here.
Speaker 2 (42:29):
I went to Holy Land.
Speaker 1 (42:30):
I went over there, and I seen where Paul was
supposed to be, down in that hole, down inside that deepole,
chain to a pillar. He mad, that's where he was
supposed to be. Two Timothy two and nine. He says,
where I am suffering trouble is an even doer even
and to these.
Speaker 2 (42:46):
Bonds, I'm chained, man, I'm chain right here. God is
eating nice. Being God's man suffered these changes.
Speaker 1 (42:53):
And then he says Philippians ten, I beseech see from
my son on Thissimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds.
My God he got him saved and chained up. Whoa
Hella lujah he had had he Brewce ten thirty four
He said, for he you had compassion on me in
my boss and Hebrews thirteen and thirteen remembered them that
(43:16):

Speaker 2 (43:21):
You know why God chained him. He was saving the
world by his left hand. If Paul had it been loose.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
That letter, you awad.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
That publisher the Gospel.
Speaker 1 (43:36):
But God chained him and said, hey, buddy, while you're here,
I'm gonna let you write fourteen books of the Bible
before he Okay, no body right hand. God done that
by his left hand. Nobody even knew what he was
I doing.
