Speaker 2 (00:41):
Yeah? I think the coast is clear.
Speaker 1 (00:43):
Good news for our for our Clippers Clips and Dip fam.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
If you guys like Clips and Dip, if you like Clippers,
talk if you're an f and a listener with myself
and Kevin Figures on AM five seventy for years, we
got our show F and A on Friday nights now
on Fox Sports Ray nationally, So hell yeah, excited for that.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
Won't interfere with Clippers.
Speaker 3 (01:05):
It's late night, but we do kind of a variety show,
mostly sports, but we talked a lot of different stuff
and I'm sure I'll be promoting it a lot because
we've been waiting a long time for this, so Fox
Sports Radio. Yeah, I'm seventy here in LA. But you
can find it wherever you're located. There's a market, there's
a signal somewhere near you that has it so pumped.
Speaker 1 (01:26):
It's as hell. It's yet another pro Clippers person in
the mainstream sports media, which is rare. We need it.
We're going to talk about Tyler had some comments on
Club Shah. We're going to talk about there was a
jersey league Kawhi is in China. We all learned about
wet ball. But first, Happy belated birthday to James Harden.
(01:50):
It was a couple of six, thirty six. What would
you get James Harden for his birthday? Say, you're invited
to the party?
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Uh uh?
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Maybe as a gag gift the.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
Touch of gray Beard, just in case.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
He did mention it with one of the most game
one time that he said like I'm getting I don't
think he said, Keith Hernandez, I'm getting a little bit
of gray in here. But he can't stand being called old.
He doesn't like that, and he's technically not just in
the world of sports. Thirty six is getting up there,
but he's still very productive. So yeah, I think i'd
go a little touch of gray for James.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
That's a good bit. Touch of Grays. Also, if he did,
in fact reference Keith Hernandez touch of gray from is
that a Seinfeld bit.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
I don't think he did, but that's that's the first
thing that at.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Least referenced from Grays coming in on the beard.
Speaker 3 (02:43):
So so yeah, Keith Hernandez at the bar talking up
a lane, that's a great one.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
I think I would go. I'd go Clippers branded the
money guns, the guns that shoot the ones for his
extracurricular activities that he enjoys doing. I think that's a
good bit. It's a you know what I mean, It's
like a light joke. It'd be like Swarasi criscaled out
like those cups they sell at the Team store or
something like that.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
You're talking about the charity stuff, or he's just going
like this and going down the street with money like joker.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
And charity man. Charity.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Charity is not only what he's doing. Charity. Charity might
be the name of someone at the place that he's
taking this in. But happy birthday to James Harden thirty
six man. Really, he and I are the same age,
which is great. We have a we should do a
combo birthday party next year because it's like two weeks apart.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Oh, surprises hasn't started before.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Yeah, I think zubos Zubats got married on I don't know.
We got a two dollars chat. Let's go Clippers. Are
the Clippers winning the Clippers versus Lakers series? Thank you
for the question. By the way, this is a live
happy hour questions. Send them in. We'll ask the best ones,
or if you attach some kind of monetary value to it,
we will also stem.
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Was last year the first time they had lost the
series in I don't know how long, or was it
the year before that they finally after winning I think
their first eleven under coach lou against the Lakers.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
No, we went they lost it last year.
Speaker 3 (04:18):
So last year was the first time they lost the
series free like forever one and three. Yeah, I mean
they had they had a great run. That just means
their dude to bounce back. They go three and one
against the Lakers.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
This year, I think they win it. I think I mean,
both teams have some pretty substantial new pieces right. One
side does claim to be younger than the other, No,
jury's still out on that.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Well. Their best player is.
Speaker 1 (04:49):
Yeah, Lakers won the last two years, thank you, Alex Web.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
So yeah, it's been two years of this, so it's
kind of been shocking. It's got to swing back.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
The other way.
Speaker 3 (04:58):
Their best player eight years younger than the Clippers' best player,
Luca to Kawhi, but they do have their second best
player at the age of forty one in December and Lebron.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
Yeah, I like the Clippers chances. I like, I'm so
high on the Clippers currently as of six o nine
pm in August twenty ninth. That yeah, I think three
to one they might have to too. That's gonna be
a huge thing with seeding right the West. Don't even
get me started on the Pacific Division this year.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
I like our frontages against them, especially because they wanted
to get Brook Lopez back and he instead shows the Clippers.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
That's a good point. Yeah, we're better in the front court.
I was just gonna, I was just trying to comment
on how tough the Pacific Division is, but I think
twos are gonna be pretty bad, which is the Suns
in the game. So yeah, front court, front court. The
Clippers have the edge.
Speaker 2 (05:55):
Back court.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
I mean, I guess you gotta give it because kind
of in his prime.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
But it's it's closer than you think.
Speaker 3 (06:03):
Because if you're tiring Beal and James Harden versus Luca
and Austin Reeves in the back court, I mean that
that's good.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
You know, I'm big Austin Reeves guys.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
But it's pretty close though.
Speaker 3 (06:17):
Yeah, I'll give him the edge, but it's closer than
you think. Yeah, i'd say if they're like a ten backcourt,
which they're not, they're nine.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
The Clippers are like six and a half.
Speaker 1 (06:29):
Six and a half. I was gonna say like.
Speaker 3 (06:31):
Eight ccase James is thirty six and Beal's thirty two.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
And yeah, that's fair and the Yeah, Alex, I'm saying,
let's just not go zero and four versus the Suns. Again,
we have a very we have a very early chance
to break that.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Some of the games are lost when they're up by twenty.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
Yeah, that's not ideal. Did you see the tyleru on
club stuff about like ring culture. I don't even know
if it was about ring culture. I think it was
just about how kind of free agency has changed things.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
Yeah, player empowerment, I saw the first hour and twenty minutes.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
I'm still working through the last forty minutes because.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
It's yeah, it's something, it's it's good, it's fun. Coach Lou,
very likable guy. It talk to a lot of clippers
at the beginning. I don't know how much of the end.
It seemed like Shannon Sharp exhausted his Clippers questions early,
but so I felt like I got the meat of
what we needed.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
Yeah. I don't think Shannon Sharp is a huge Clippers guy.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
No, I don't know if you mentioned that part to
but yeah, I.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
Think he loves Lebron, right, he like.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
Oh that's goat and everything, got a goat into the
studio one time for Lebron.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
Okay, yeah, so probably not a big Clippers guy. But yeah,
the quote was because there was some like aggregators that
were like, he's talking about ring culture. But I think
we're conflating what because ring culture, to me is someone
who thinks, you know, you can only be one of
the greats if you have a ring, so like Adam
Morrison is in the Goat conversation, you know what I mean.
(08:10):
But this his quote was, it's become a problem now
because you have guys thinking that winning is more important
than loyalty and doing it the right way, and it's
not their fault. So he's kind of talking this like,
you know, the big trades that you make maybe for
some superstars based on where they want to go, It
isn't as fulfilling and doesn't have the same long term
(08:33):
results as you know, building the team or something like that.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Ye know.
Speaker 3 (08:40):
My position on this goes back to twenty sixteen when
KD went the Golden State Warriors. I think ring culture
put pressure on him to have to win, and he
ended up taking I think the easiest path to get there.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
It was the hardest point. I don't think you saw
the title of the article.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Okay, my next chapter, the hardest path ever. Joining a
team that won seventy.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Three games and you lost to after being up three
to one in the Western Conference finals didn't seem like
the best way to get validation for yourself as a player.
I think he eventually realized that and has been trying
to chase that ghost of validation's past that he never
got ever since. OKD, I love you, You're a great
(09:27):
all time player. I was some of the back and
forth on Twitter, some of the stuff is too far.
Speaker 1 (09:33):
Hey we're not. I mean, yeah, he was getting he
was talking crazy to die. There was some crazy shit said.
But I think I kind of can see where I
mean because Tyleru has won a championship as a player
and a coach, so like he does have both sides
of perspective of this.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
I think winning is so circumstantial.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
But guys in this era heard for so long, you know,
but this guy does never ring John Stofton or but
Patrick Wing or Barkley, and they want to be left
out of a conversation or be the butt of the
jokes because they were great players but didn't have the hardware,
and that fueled a lot of what we see now.
Speaker 1 (10:19):
But insecurity.
Speaker 3 (10:22):
Yeah, but it's it's you can't have it both ways though.
I think if you're fans who say, oh, where's the ring?
What about the ring, and then a guy like KD goes, fine,
I'll get a ring, I'll get it right now from
the Golden State Warriors, so well, that one doesn't count
as much. You can't do that if you're a part
(10:42):
of ring culture and always pressuring guys to have to
win or else. They basically had a tarnished career. Yeah,
it's a ring or bust, or you sucked, or you're
not that important, or you can never be a top
ten player.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
I'm just not that into it as a team game.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
So many things throughout NB a history determined whether or
not you win a championship that are outside of your control.
Speaker 1 (11:04):
Yeah, just interesting. Also, I mean based on the past
of people affiliated with the Clippers and podcasts, I'm just
happy he didn't say anything completely crazy or that made
us like rub our Temples, like what the fuck are
we doing here now?
Speaker 2 (11:22):
I enjoyed it.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
Coach lu talking about where he's from in Missouri, his
path to get to this point, his coaching style of
telling guys the truth and having to be brutally honest.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Even if in the.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
Moment guys don't take that well, Eventually they come around
and you're better off for it.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
So I've always been a big fan. I did not
know it was going to go two hours.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
This has to be the longest interview he's done, and
he's done some in the past, but this was lengthy.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
That's a good point. You know, who would have been
a fun player? I think for ty Luda head coach
in his prime is Tres. I think they were in
terms of like head coaching, because he was there in
the bubble obviously when Trez was getting certain minutes when
maybe he shouldn't have been, Like head head coach Tyleru
(12:11):
with Montredecal, I think, I don't think that much would
have changed, but maybe Tres sticks around a little longer,
Maybe he has another great year after the sixth Man
of the Year year.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
I mean, I think he at least looks at the
numbers that showed that Jokic was shooting seventy five percent
against Trez and only forty eight percent against Zoo in
that series in the bubble. Because he's much more analytics
driven than Doc at least, well, I think.
Speaker 1 (12:40):
That bar is fairly low. I think most for docs.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Presumably he will reference analytics pregames sometimes like he knows
the numbers to a t, like Justin Rousseul is bringing
something up, which is crazy to me. He has one
of those crazy minds, you know, beautiful minds were.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
I think Bard and yeah, yeah, he's mad, Damon.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
He loves playing cards, he loves calculating odds. I think
that's why he loves going to Vegas so much. So
I think that's a big part of his coaching philosophy.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
He's a math nerd, and I mean that respectfully.
Speaker 2 (13:19):
He loves math and the coolest math nerd. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
I think that's fair. Yeah, because there's he loves Vegas,
but he loves Vegas in a way where it seems
like he loves it because he wins, like it seems
like he goes. He's like, I had a great time.
Speaker 2 (13:35):
I don't know about you, losers, but I want.
Speaker 1 (13:37):
Oh, here we go. Ray, who listened to all two
hours of the podcast What Up Ray? Ray always contributes
things to thank you for hanging out. Ray contributed a
great dip recipe a couple of weeks back. He said
coach Lou went into expectations for the Clips season, and
he said he wanted us in the conference final. Hey,
same once. The way the NBA works now is once
(13:58):
you get to the conference final. The way my brain
works is it's kind of a toss up. The West
is so good, you're it's just like you're at And
I'm not saying it's the pinnacle, but in terms of
like maybe feeling confident one way or another about how
a series is going to go It's really hard to
go into a Western Conference final and be like, I
(14:21):
think we got this because every team is good. Even
if the sixth seed makes it to the Western Conference
Final next year, it would be an annoying ass six
seed to play, you know what I mean.
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Once in a while you get some anomalies, like I
think when Portland made it after beating Denver in the
second round and then lost to Golden State, that didn't
feel like a worthy Conference finals team.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Lost is generous. They got man.
Speaker 3 (14:47):
Yes, that was Golden State without KD I think for
most of that series. Yeah, So every once in a
while you get something like that where you're expected to win,
but most of the time it's going to be highly competitive.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
Of course, right, Ray also mentioning they touched on players
not facing the media when things don't go their way.
Speaker 3 (15:08):
Yeah, Shannon Sharp didn't specifically say James Harden. They might
have just been talking about James Harden and.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
Then he brought it up. But he didn't make that connection.
Speaker 1 (15:18):
Thankfully, because I think if he would have, I think,
and maybe this was I didn't see the interview, but
based on what I know about Shannon Sharp, I don't
think he did this on purpose. I'm happy he didn't
mention James Harden because that would have made Tyleru, rightfully
so probably maybe clam up at.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
The question, yeah, because you've got to protect your guy.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Coach speak or just like you know, that's how it
got like, you know what I mean. So I think
that maybe maybe Shannon Sharp's like ignorance to the Clippers
helped us get a good answer there from Tyleru.
Speaker 3 (15:52):
Yeah, obviously we talked about it as well.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
It's not a great look when you only come up
after win.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
I get it. It's frustrating. You're mad at yourself. It's
not it's not always. I think this is what coach
Lows alluding to. It's not always like you're trying to
disrespect the media. You're just so frustrated with yourself. You're
mad at yourself in those moments, and that's that's what
takes you away from going to the podium. But yeah,
I I've will see if that changes this season.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
We'll see what happens.
Speaker 3 (16:22):
But I don't think it's you got I mean, you
gotta take the good with the bad with a player,
nobody's perfect. If this is one of James Harden's faults,
so be it, you know, and the coach who was
quick to point out that something I've been saying for
a while. It's like, everybody looks at game seven, No,
James Harden must win game Game six was a must win.
(16:44):
Game two he played forty seven minutes.
Speaker 2 (16:46):
And ball out.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
So we have to at least acknowledge that when you
say the shortcomings of game seven, yes, but game six
their backs were also against the wall and he was great.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
I don't think I agree. I don't think it's changed.
And Harden has no reason. He doesn't care, and I
don't mean that in a derogatory He doesn't care that
people don't like that. He talks to the media after
bad games, fairly obvious, So I don't think that's and
I'm like, honestly, like it sucks, but if in a vacuum,
it sucks, and you want them to talk to the press.
(17:19):
But honestly, what do we think James Harden would say? Yep,
I was pretty timid with the ball. Yeah, I made
really bad decisions out there. It's the same thing is
when people are like, how come you don't hold the
coach accountable? Well, because they know how to answer questions
and ways that aren't answers. So like if Jens Harden
(17:40):
came out after a game and he's he's done it
before too, right, what was the quote the ball just
didn't find me or or something like that when he
was with the seventy six ers, And it's like, we're
not going to get some illuminating look into the psyche
of James Harden in a game seven if you talk
to him right after he just laid an egg. Not
(18:03):
to defend him, but it's just like, I don't what
people want, it doesn't exist.
Speaker 3 (18:09):
No, I agree with you a lot of that stuff,
even just like sometimes the court side stuff where it's like, great,
we have all those access, but they're going to their
media trained probably better than ever not turn something into
a story today's athletes. So you're getting you know, generic
stuff a lot of the time, not anything that's super
(18:31):
insightful where they're not going to give away any game
plan stuff when you're ebring a coach between timeouts or player.
So I understand, and I think obviously Kawhi isn't the biggest.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
Fan of doing the BDS.
Speaker 3 (18:47):
Yeah, and I do like sympathize with it to a degree.
Because sometimes I'm like, I don't know about this question. Luckily,
with the Clippers, you know, we got great reporters, and
we got great side reporters. Of course, I understand in
the general sense of where players can be coming from
(19:07):
uh and being sometimes adversarial towards you know, the pressers.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Oh that make that reminds me shout out Christina Pink
who was on to bigger and better things, which suck.
Christina is such a nice person, just a joy to
be around in the press room or anything like that.
So congrats to her. She's killing in Johnny six.
Speaker 2 (19:29):
She was.
Speaker 1 (19:30):
I was always like, yeah, I was.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
I was his best in the game.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
Yeah, I was surprised you would do Clippers stuff. And
I don't mean that disrespectfully to the Clippers, but I
was like, she's like a big name Johnny sixty six.
What are the cats expectations for this upcoming season? Where's
the cat put? We need to have your cat? Who's
the seed or something? You know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
It looks like a tough defensive identity.
Speaker 4 (19:55):
Again, your cat has some Chris Dune in it for
and we're going to run a little bit.
Speaker 1 (20:04):
That's very funny. Did you see the jersey leak I did.
Speaker 3 (20:10):
We've had so many of these, I'm still like, Okay,
is this the official jersey leak?
Speaker 1 (20:15):
I think this is the official one. In my head.
It has tags of it has tags.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
I got them because you can't fake those. No officially
NBA license hologram.
Speaker 1 (20:27):
Where would you get the tags? I have to be honest.
If these are the city edition jerseys, I'm a little bombed.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
It's a little.
Speaker 1 (20:46):
So like I mean, I liked the eighty four, the
the original version of these, which was the basically just
Clippers colors with the eighty four on it. Sorry, I'm
gonna share it again, but I just think the it's
not the throwback orange. I liked those a lot with
the blue, but this just feels it looks like a
(21:08):
two K generic La Team jersey. I guess like it
reminds me of the Thunder, which I don't like.
Speaker 2 (21:18):
It should probably rind you the bobcast.
Speaker 1 (21:21):
Yeah, like it, but you know what I mean, Like
it looks like an expansion jersey or something like. That's
the kind of the vein that I feel like these
are in.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
I know people are gonna say I'm a company man
for this, but I honestly like them more than the
twenty eighteen twenty nineteen ones, just because orange is always
one of my favorite colors.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
Because Michelangel with the Ninja Turtles, well.
Speaker 1 (21:42):
That's I mean, that's a great reason to like the
color orange. That if, if, if the design was inspired
by Michaelangel, that'd be awesome. I also I think that
and you can you can put the bad take alert
capital of if this is a bad take alert. I
think that the Drew League City editions for me set
(22:07):
such a high bar because those jerseys were connected with
the city in a way that I don't think of
a lot of the major sports teams in LA, the
professional franchise, all of them. To me, that jersey really
got to the roots of that specific sport in LA
in a very cool way with the Drew League homage.
(22:28):
It had the you know, the old English lettering, It
had the Watts Tower like the mosaic stuff. That set
such a high bar for me that the last year's
city edition with the Jonas Wood design was cool. Right,
he's a season ticket holder.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
I love the blue.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
Yeah, it was kind of a generic design, but you
know it was designed by a guy who's a season
ticket holder. So it's like, Okay, he cares about this.
This just feels like they moved sliders around on the color,
you know what I mean of the eighty four Like
I don't see a connection to the city, and we
do have to wait for the full details, but I
don't see any stuff that's like it's like a connected
(23:07):
to La or or something like that. It just feels.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
Man, you're not wrong about the jew League ones.
Speaker 3 (23:15):
But let me put my best guess on what the
description for this jersey and why it's going to be
meaningful is.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
The stars on the side.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
Are going to be relating to the All Star Game
coming into a dome and the Olympics are coming in
twenty twenty eight.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
They all start, which everyone loves.
Speaker 3 (23:38):
Well, we will love it into a dome. It will
look good on NBC with no ego. It's gonna be great.
That La fond that's homage to the eighty four Olympics
in La. That's why the twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen was in.
So I think it's twofold where it's relating to the
All Star Game coming into the Olympics coming.
Speaker 2 (24:00):
That's my guess for the reasoning.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
Yeah, I think you're probably correct about that. Oh yeah,
and I guess those are just like such large things
that Yeah, and you know what I mean, like the
Drew League. It's like that's that's South l A. Like
that's like, yeah, that was just one of the best
jerseys I think of any NBA team ever too, Hannah.
(24:26):
Unfortunately about the Paul George version. I told her to
get the choir, but you know, can't win them all.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
Hey man, I gotta carry calls Panthers jersey.
Speaker 1 (24:39):
Yeah, it just looks like yeah, like it looks like
the Thunder. It looks like an Anaheim Ducks jersey kind
of when they had the Orange. I don't know, maybe
we just got duped. Maybe this is the greatest fake
of all time. But I will tell you.
Speaker 2 (24:52):
I wouldn't I wouldn't be shopped by that either.
Speaker 3 (24:54):
I don't know how many how many leaks are we
gonna get, right.
Speaker 1 (24:59):
But you can be sure that no matter what happens,
we will talk about the final version on clips and DIP.
I'm gonna do a quick audio break because we are
gonna put this out for audio. So we're gonna talk
about Kawhi being in China, bogged in the euro Basket
and La Clippers film, reminding everyone how good Chris done.
Is a defense coming up in three to one.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Welcome back in It's Clips and Dip a Clips and
Dip live for you guys, I met im awesome. We
got Chef Mockler here. Appreciate everybody in the chat for
hanging out here on this Friday edition of a Clips
and Dip hang. All right, Chuck, what do you want
to start with here?
Speaker 1 (25:37):
Kawhi is having so much fun in China. I think
this he's been I think his time in China has
been great, but I also think it's been really cool.
And the lob of the jam the Pod brought this
up our sister pod.
Speaker 3 (25:51):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (25:52):
He just gets to have fun in the offseason for
the first time in a while.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
Yeah, he can travel. He can fly because if you're
coming off surgery, if you're dealing with swelling, it can't
be flying anywhere.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
Well, you can fly to Denver, Utah, Utah. You can
fly to Utah.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
In the playoffs.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
I hadn't come back yet, but I Kawhai is so
unintentionally hilarious.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
It's just it's so fun. Man. I love seeing when
Kawai smiles. We all smile.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
He's done more just content on this China trip than
the last two years of like Clippers, you know what
I mean. Like he's down with the press, like I
love seeing it. I'm comfortable. Kawhi is a nightmare for
the rest of the league. And when I say comfortable,
(26:51):
I mean he's having funder in the off season. He's
heading into training, get comfortable, you know what I mean,
Like he's not. There's no extra worries from him right now.
Speaker 2 (27:01):
He I keep thinking about, Okay.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
I was really obviously concerned with the swelling going into
the series against Dallas and what that could mean for
his career moving forward, and just how difficult it could
be managing that. And it seems like they've done a
really good job with figuring that out. He's been able
to train like he used to. He continued to train
throughout the rest of the playoffs, just to test himself. Yeah,
(27:28):
if he could withstand the playoff run, Yeah, this is
pretty good.
Speaker 1 (27:32):
Ray, get ready to learn Chinese buddy? Anyway, Sorry, go ahead?
Speaker 2 (27:39):
What ball ball? He enunciated so much like yeah, he's It's.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
Just I wonder And Lawrence Frank said this at the
exit interview of this season? What level he can get
to now that he's trained again. Is it going to
be twenty three, twenty four Kawhi Leonard without the eventual
knee swelling? Are we going to get that Kawhi Leonard?
Because that you can argue is the best regular season
(28:11):
Kwhi Leonard we've seen.
Speaker 1 (28:13):
Yeah, I could agree with that. What I'm focused on
and maybe I'm putting the cart before the ship here
in terms of the Clippers, is does this comfortable offseason?
Not that he's not training or anything like that, obviously,
but in terms of like mentally comfortable, he's not. He's
(28:33):
got no extra distractions. Does this I have to assume
this helps him become the kind of player, the level
of kind of player we need him to be in
the playoffs, because there were some games against Denver it
was like Kawhi was very good, but there's that boom,
you know what I mean? There was that that killer instinct.
(28:55):
I can't remember what the term Tylou used, was locked
in or folks or something like that. That's what I
think this the long term benefits are in this offseason.
Speaker 3 (29:05):
It felt like for his standard at least there were
times even though the numbers were good, that he floated
a little bit in the background or got lost in
the shuffle a little bit, which just can't can't happen
with your best player. So I do wonder level of aggressiveness,
how much he'll be in attack mode confidence now, having
more time underneath him, under you know, the new knee
(29:29):
management stuff they have been doing ever since the swelling started,
and just you know, knowing what he can and can't do.
I think all that is going to play a role
and hopefully really benefit why this season.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
Yeah, I'm yeah, I'm just and just on a personal level,
it's just nice he gets to just like hang out
and do a bunch of random shit like he's doing
martial arts. He's also kudos to Clippers fans too, because
I think a year if we would have seen footage
of him playing in some weird scrimmage on a court
(30:05):
that maybe didn't look as nice as it could have been,
we all would have lost our minds. Oh you know
what I mean, Like he was playing like he played
in that game with kar Anthony Town.
Speaker 3 (30:17):
I didn't see any highlights from that. Were they out there?
Speaker 2 (30:21):
I didn't see anything.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
I think they were working around the beginning is all
that I could really like find chatter about. But like
they weren't.
Speaker 3 (30:29):
I mean, loss over a robot on the floors, Wait, robot, go.
A robot is crossing me over as I am robot
as well.
Speaker 1 (30:38):
Yeah, the robot was just trying to shake hands. He
was like hello brother.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:46):
I also like that. I hope Kawhi is as anti
AI and automation as I am, because that would be fantastic.
Kawhi will I think in kind of a blade scenario,
Kawhi will be our greatest soldier against AI.
Speaker 2 (31:01):
That tracks, you know what I mean. I could see that.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
Hey, hey, I can't drink watera I can drink water.
The future with Kawhi, I'm into that. We hope he
keeps having fun bogged Okay. I wanted to talk about
euro Basket because Boggin's at euro Basket, which is great.
(31:26):
Zoo had such a great euro Basket the last time
they had it, and it I think it really benefited
his next season. Croatia for the first time in the
history of euro Basket didn't qualify this year, so he doesn't.
I hadn't know one until this morning.
Speaker 2 (31:46):
So comfortable with it. Though I guess I.
Speaker 1 (31:49):
Feel comfortable with it, but like.
Speaker 3 (31:51):
I always want guys to be able to play for
their country. Of course, I gotta be like a Laker fan,
be like.
Speaker 2 (31:56):
Lucas shouldn't even be out there.
Speaker 3 (31:58):
I'm not doing that because it just happens, gets a
little bit more restless, tume with it.
Speaker 1 (32:04):
All right, that's fair, but I'd like it really felt
like because he crushed in euro Basket that that last
time Croatia was in it like he was, I think
it helped his confidence. I think being away from the
team because I think the team obviously knows how good
he is, and the team will hype him up. But
like that that cunt, that extra boost for the country
and all that stuff. I'm just a little bumped and
(32:28):
for Zoo that like he just doesn't get that extra rent.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
Yeah, I mean, he's got the best training facilities in
the world right here if he needs anything. These pictures
of everybody getting some shots up into it Dome, getting
some off season training in, I'm guessing, uh, this voluntary.
Speaker 2 (32:51):
That's been cool to see.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
I think we mentioned how they're not going to Hawaii
this year for preseason, so this training camp just hey,
we got into it. Don't facility this is this is it.
Now we're good. We don't need to go to Vegas
to go anywhere else. It's the best place to do it.
Speaker 1 (33:05):
Knowing Balmer, he probably created a very accurate simulation of
Hawaii somewhere on the crew of the team facilities that pool.
He probably like got some crazy sand and like a
wave machine or something. You what he did. He probably
the guy who made the first like tiki bars in
(33:27):
la I can't remember his name. It was like Tiki
Jack or something like that. He would spend Bobby or
like surfing Dan or like something like that. He would
spend like thousands of dollars to fly in authentic lays
from Hawaii to like give to customers in Hollywood. I
think Bomber's on some stuff like that. He's like, you
(33:50):
guys liked Hawaii. Okay, this is as good as we're doing. Okay. Yeah,
Ray saying training camp is going to be in in San.
Speaker 2 (33:56):
Diego, does it give me an ocean side?
Speaker 1 (33:59):
I assume they have game at ocean Side this year.
Speaker 3 (34:01):
Yeah, so they're going to hold it there until they
play the game there.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
Okay. I guess that makes sense because they play in
Seattle too, and it goes beautiful.
Speaker 1 (34:11):
Yeah, I gotta get to the Ocean side. I haven't
been to one yet.
Speaker 2 (34:14):
Who do they play in Seattle?
Speaker 1 (34:16):
Let me look at us game?
Speaker 2 (34:18):
Is that?
Speaker 3 (34:20):
Because I know a lot of people were surprised they
weren't going to Hawaii.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
I knew about the Ocean Side game. I know they
got one game and into a dome.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
Nuggets Clippers on the twelfth of October. That's it. Into it?
Clippers Kings? Is it Golden One Center? And then Clippers Warriors?
Is it Chase Center? That's all the Google's given me.
Speaker 2 (34:39):
But let me see, it's just four games.
Speaker 1 (34:41):
I think, Oh, we play the Guangzhou Long Lions in
Ocean Side. That's the first game. So there's none. Yeah,
there's none in Seattle.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
I was wrong, So it's into it. No, it's Chase
not first.
Speaker 3 (34:59):
I'm just saying all the Ocean side into it, Golden
One and Chase.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
Is that the order? Ye?
Speaker 1 (35:06):
Limited travel? I will say, I love this for the Clippers.
Speaker 2 (35:10):
Yeah, limited travel, we'll take it.
Speaker 1 (35:14):
We're gonna learn a lot from that first preseason game
versus the Gangs out Loong Lions. Are we Yeah, we're
gonna learn a lot about what this team is made of.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
We're gonna learn a lot about.
Speaker 1 (35:29):
Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
There is Artis will play something because there's an ocean side.
They want to show off a little bit.
Speaker 1 (35:38):
And it's a promo thing like the n b A.
The NBA wants those international bucks. I knew better to
get it from from the country that seems to love
basketball the most outside of the United States. There is
a Clipper at euro Basket Bogden. He is there doing
his thing. I had a stat pulled up.
Speaker 3 (36:02):
I thought he had like seven points and was a
plus eleven out there.
Speaker 2 (36:05):
I was like, yeah, plus eleven.
Speaker 1 (36:07):
Yeah, he was uh oh, whoa, here we go. Six
hours ago he had to leave the game because of
a hamstring injury.
Speaker 2 (36:15):
Damn it.
Speaker 1 (36:16):
Fucking fuck. Okay, fuck your own basket. I'm happy. Two
months he caught your own basket. Damn it. He's partly
doing with a hamstring issue. After a drive to the
basket in the first half, he grabbed the back of
his thigh, forcing him to leave. Okay that hemingway got
(36:37):
a little crazy with the with the talk there, but
that's him grabbing his thigh. He's adjusting his.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
Haunch Clippers depth being tested early.
Speaker 1 (36:50):
Yeah, what the hell? What the HELLP what did Portugal
do to get this to happen? Well, shut him down.
He's gonna get scans. He didn't return to the game. Yeah,
just shut him down.
Speaker 2 (37:07):
Well, he's ready for turning camp.
Speaker 1 (37:09):
Serbia is having an issue at against Portugal because Petrussev
got ejected for hitting a Portuguese player in the chest.
Speaker 2 (37:24):
It's just real.
Speaker 1 (37:26):
Happened in the first quarter of the game.
Speaker 2 (37:29):
Okay, shut it down.
Speaker 1 (37:31):
Yeah, I get all right, Serbia's got to shut it down.
I don't know what's going on, but Serbia's got to
shut They should shut that down. Okay, no more. Okay,
bog didn't shut it down. He didn't have the best
first game, like Adam mentioned, but he can bounce back.
I for some reason, Clippers Hollocks slop was like fed
(37:54):
to my algorithm for some reason, and they were just
account alix slop. Don't read Clipper Hollicks. I don't think
anyone listening or watching this one. But don't don't give
that place your business. They wrote. Someone wrote this horrendous
article about how bogkins the best reason he can play
well in EuroBasket is so he can be traded by
(38:16):
the Clippers, and it's like, can we just have depth?
Can we just have the depth and enjoy it for
a little bit. It's August, we need that depth. If
you know this team, what do we need to be
getting rid of players?
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Can we get everybody healthy for training camp, especially guys
who came in later in the season last year that
now can get better acclimated, like bogged On.
Speaker 2 (38:44):
I want to see that.
Speaker 1 (38:45):
I know, all right, We're gonna do another quick break
because Jonathan Gonzalez has a really good question and then
we're gonna talk about this question coming up. We're gonna
be talking that question, and then what maybe Chris dunsrul
is going to be coming up in three two.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
One, Welcome back in Clips and Dip. I'm will Updyke.
Speaker 3 (39:10):
Lost going to be with you guys on the cn
D Special Edition Live on a Friday.
Speaker 2 (39:18):
Thank got his Friday. Thank God we're doing the show.
And we got a good question here, Chuck.
Speaker 1 (39:24):
Jonathan Gonzalez two minutes left in the fourth quarter in
the playoffs, no score situation given which I would maybe
like to have. Is c CPR running the point?
Speaker 2 (39:36):
I know we're all we don't need a colony.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
Hey, it's better than D it's better than D n R.
I don't think so. I think it's James Harden's running
the point. I agree, are we if we're up by
thirty Chris Paul will navigate us to a twenty seven
point win if we're doing And I don't mean that
(40:02):
he respect.
Speaker 3 (40:04):
He's probably referring to our turnover issue, specifically in fourth
quarters last year. Again, a lot of that stuff went
away once Kawhi came back. The heavy turnover ratio, especially
from James Harden, A lot of it reduced very quickly
once Kawhi came back. And with a team with this
(40:24):
many guys that can assume the responsibility having the ball
in their hands, I think it's gonna leave James Harden
less tax so at the end of games the ball
can be in his hands, he won't have physical fatigue,
and mental fatigue is what often leads to those turnovers too.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
He's saying down, they're saying down, but close game. I
think it's hard.
Speaker 3 (40:45):
Yeah, I would rather not already start. I know some
people that, hey, James Hardener are hardened attractors or haters
would love to be like soup three should be starting already,
Like what are we talking about here? There's going that's
going app and at some point and it's nuts. James
Harden was an All NBA guy and it's all Star
(41:06):
this past year.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
Yeah, let's let's have James off the bench. We re
signed Russ. Yeah. Also, what the so the Kings. This
is a hard pivot. The Kings want to trade Malik
Monk to try and make room for Russell Westbrook. I
thought I was having a fever dream.
Speaker 3 (41:30):
I was told like Russell Westbrook was a key piece
of the Denver Nuggets and what they did last year,
and really it was pretty much just what he was
able to do against the Clippers. That was his biggest,
most positive contribution. But it doesn't seem like that's even
enough for him to be returning to Denver. I don't
think he should be out of the league like some
(41:51):
people have said, but it is an awkward fit the Kings,
I think could work.
Speaker 2 (41:57):
They actually lack some guards.
Speaker 3 (41:59):
I don't love the idea though, losing the league Monk
to get Russell Westbrook.
Speaker 2 (42:04):
But you know, Sacktown King's gonna Kang's.
Speaker 1 (42:09):
Hey, if it makes the if it makes the division easier,
I'm fine with that. This is a great question from
I'm so sorry CM. I'm not even gonna try and
pronounce that because I don't want to respect you, but
thank you for the question. He said, what do y'all
think about Tyler's comments about Bradley Beal? Sorry if I
missed this part, you actually did not miss this part.
This is a fantastic question. Tyler had kind of a
(42:31):
wild quote about Bradley Beal. He said, he's gonna draw
two or three guys and he can make a pass,
he can make a play. And then defensively he's always
been good, but you got to challenge him every night.
If he's on bad players, he's not as good. But
when he's guarding a guy that can play, he's a
really good defender. When you play for a team like Phoenix,
(42:53):
you got Booker and KD and you're the third option.
He averaged eighteen point shuff So he talks about offense.
Speaker 3 (43:00):
I mean, I do think there was a clear motivation
issue for what happened in Phoenix and why they were
that bad defensively, and Beale and Washington was a good defender,
especially before you know John Wall eventually left and he
had to do so much offensively, He's capable.
Speaker 1 (43:16):
I think the motivation thing is a great I think
this is just worded weird, right, Like I obviously think
I don't think it's a case for Bradley Beal. Like
I think the motivation on the whole was an issue
for sure in Phoenix, but like I think most guys
try and maybe step it up more when they're on
a good offensive player, you know what I mean, or
(43:37):
something like that. But Bradley Bal also fortunately has this
current scenario where he's playing next to Kawhi and Zoo
in a starting five, which is a pretty nice three
to five to have, and Collins. Yes, there's some concerns,
but again I think it's gonna be ay. But I
(44:01):
can see how people thought the comments were a little funny.
Speaker 3 (44:04):
Coach Lou's gonna have to have confidence in his defense
because if he and John Collins are in the starting lineup,
we're sure Bradley Beal is gonna be your point of
attack defender start off games. So if it ain't Chris
Done out there or ain't DJ out there, it's gonna
be Bradley Beal. They're not gonna put Kawhi to start
off games as the point of attack defender.
Speaker 1 (44:26):
Yeah, he's a he's a post guy. Good question.
Speaker 3 (44:30):
You just don't want to have him running around a
ton like at the end of games. Be selective with it,
like we've seen over the years. Okay, guard step at
the end of a game, called guard Jabal Murray at the.
Speaker 2 (44:40):
End of a game. They're not gonna do it right away.
Speaker 1 (44:44):
And funnel him to Zoo. That's gonna be just funnel
him towards one of the best paint defenders in the league.
To Brian saying our starting five was Western Conference Finals minimum, Okay,
I would sure.
Speaker 2 (45:02):
Yeah, I got all the potential.
Speaker 1 (45:06):
With B defense. B defense brings us to a good
point because La Clippers film on Twitter. Who if you're
listening to this pod, you probably should be following and
I'm assuming you probably are posted this. These incredibly just absurd,
just chops of Chris Dunn playing fantastic defense. I think
(45:31):
in this quote says like for the amount of minutes
he played, yeah, it's like one of the best defensive
seasons from a guard. What is I'm still racking my
brain what his role looks like and I'm not knocking
Chris Dunn in any way, but it's just like is Done.
In my head, I was like, Done and Beal is
gonna be a fun two man backcourt for those bench minutes.
(45:52):
I think fun might be the wrong word, but I'm interested.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
I also wonder who's going to be first off the bench.
Speaker 3 (46:02):
Is it going to be Done, is it going to
be DJ? And who are they coming in for. I
could see Done coming in early for Bradley Beal. Bradley
Beal starts at the point of attack guy, then you
bring in Chris Dunn. Bradley Bull comes back in to
help lead the second unit. I wouldn't be shocked by that.
Like to maintain that defensive identity, especially on the perimeter
(46:25):
like they had last season. I think Done or DJ
has got to be coming off the bench early.
Speaker 1 (46:31):
Yeah, I like the early part. Kyle has Okay, name
is pronounced like Kyle. I guess, all right, thank you, Kyle.
I guess Kyle is a Kyle with a hoe. My
American mind cannot comprehend the spelling. And that's because.
Speaker 2 (46:51):
Enjoy the NFL in Brazil next week?
Speaker 1 (46:53):
Oh who plays in Brazil.
Speaker 2 (46:56):
Chiefs Chargers. I want to say, oh, I.
Speaker 1 (46:59):
Will be in Kansas City next weekend.
Speaker 3 (47:01):
Funnily enough, you were going to hit it up a
Chiefs game for once and this time.
Speaker 1 (47:09):
Yeah, Spirit won't reroute me from Kansas City to Brasil,
Spirit to Brazil. Man, do you have to take a
train half way through? Yeah, Tyler has the That's the
biggest wrinkle to figure out. I think, right is the
(47:30):
is the bench wrinkle? Now with just what's going to
be happening, there's more viable options off the bench because
our depth will brought this up. Our depth is so
much more like we have a backup point, we have
a backup shooting guard, you know what I mean. Like
it's it's less clustered depth and more spread out depth.
Speaker 3 (47:49):
Yeah, more defined roles with guys positionally, But I would
not be shocked if Chris or DJ is the first
guy off the bench at the seven and a half
minute mark in the first quarter.
Speaker 1 (48:06):
Yeah, and I think it might.
Speaker 2 (48:12):
I think DJ maybe come.
Speaker 3 (48:14):
Like if it's DJ, maybe he's coming in for Colleins.
If it's done, he's coming in for Beal.
Speaker 1 (48:18):
That's where my head was out, Like Collins isn't having
a hot start or something like that or it's just
not working well, you put the guy in who has
a year on the team and and with you know,
the Van Gundy defensive system. I like that. I think
that will probably be.
Speaker 3 (48:31):
The move if it's Lopez. Obviously he's coming in for
James hard Yeah.
Speaker 1 (48:36):
Well, yeah, we haven't even talked about. We got a
whole another hour and a half to talk to lots
Lopez two man lineup possibility. The Zoo question is interesting too,
because it's like, so we got Lopez, we assume is
gonna play more minutes than our previous backup centers who
since Hartenstein have been dog shit. So you assume he's
(48:58):
gonna play more minutes. Yeah, Zoo's touches are something that
I might kind of worry about next year.
Speaker 3 (49:06):
That's probably my biggest concern, Like I don't want to
slot stop the development of zubots Uh and the way
he's been progressing, and having Biale out there, having John
Collins out there with Kawhi and James Harden, it's just
a lot of mouths to feed. Can't forget about Zoo.
(49:27):
Maybe that means they will definitely try to make him
more of a focal point with the second unit because
he could get lost in the sauce a little bit
with the starting unit at times, and.
Speaker 1 (49:40):
He would destroy second units on both ends.
Speaker 3 (49:44):
Yeah, and brook Lopez can hold his own against other
first units, so it's not really a problem.
Speaker 2 (49:50):
And that's going to give you a different dimension.
Speaker 3 (49:52):
Brook Lopez out there with let's say, more of the starters, a.
Speaker 1 (49:56):
Real stretch five, not a guy who's like you can
kind of shoot sometimes when it goes in like great,
like fucking dark throw from three. I also, I think
the beginning of the season, I think Zoo's touches are
going to be very low to start the season because
we have to work in new guys. We gotta get
(50:17):
We gotta get three new guys, two of them more
so than Lopez comfortable in the offense.
Speaker 3 (50:25):
If you could win while going through some growing pains
with acclimating guys, great, that tells you your margin for error.
And I won't be as militant about my passion for
Visa Zoo.
Speaker 1 (50:42):
You're a soldier in the army of a Viza Zobots,
much like Carl Tart was a soldier in the army
of Paul George.
Speaker 3 (50:47):
I've been screaming about zoo for freaking since twenty twenty one, Like,
get this guy more involved, and now he's finally is
and now they're gonna go away from him.
Speaker 2 (50:56):
I can't have that.
Speaker 3 (50:57):
But if they're winning games and they are adjusting to
these new players, that's totally reasonable.
Speaker 1 (51:06):
Yeah, totally reasonable.
Speaker 2 (51:09):
Totally reasonable, Clippers, Clippers.
Speaker 1 (51:13):
Being totally reasonable. All right, do you have anything else
you want to add? This has been really fun. I
wish there was more shit happening.
Speaker 4 (51:22):
Yeah, I will say, not a single comment about the
new chair, Not a single comment about the new chair.
Speaker 2 (51:34):
I was waiting for you to make the announcement. I
was gonna.
Speaker 1 (51:37):
Yeah, that's right, it's my fault. I got a new chair.
Things are season season four is it's kicking up a chair.
Speaker 2 (51:48):
Click. Well, what's the comfortability level compared to your old chair?
Speaker 1 (51:54):
Hannah also raised the desk in the nook, so we
needed a higher chair. This chair is infinitely more Well,
my back doesn't hurt so out of ten upgrade.
Speaker 3 (52:03):
As far as it's almost too comfortable, like you're gonna
fall asleep during one of our shows like Car.
Speaker 1 (52:07):
This is so never during a work meet, during a meeting. Yes,
I can see I'll do the Homer Simpson. I'll have
ping pong balls with black dots on it. But no,
but we we did a little bit of a remodel
of the studio, so I got a new chair, which
(52:29):
I'm very excited. Should be way better for sound, should
really help the sound.
Speaker 2 (52:34):
Well that's always good too.
Speaker 1 (52:36):
All right, we're talking about chairs. I think that about
wraps up this pang. Thank you to everyone for hanging
out in the live stream. Please shut bogged onn bogdanoviach
down for euro Basket. From a Clippers fan, That's that's
why I'm That's how I feel about it. If you're

adam one positive thing and one more promo for your

Speaker 2 (53:17):
Show, Positive Thing.
Speaker 1 (53:23):
Well, if you can muster it, I don't want to
put too much pressure on you.
Speaker 2 (53:27):
You know, if.
Speaker 3 (53:30):
You guys want to hate on somebody who likes the
new jersey, and you get off on hating. Look no
further than me, because I'm all about this Orange City Edition.
Speaker 1 (53:39):
Jersey, Like, are you buying one?
Speaker 3 (53:43):
I just I've done a jersey guy. If there's a
shirt or something, I'm probably too old for jersey stuff now.
But not that there's anything. I guess that there's no
age limit to a jersey. I'm just saying, like.
Speaker 1 (53:55):
Oh, but I agree, man, when you're a certain play
you can't be blinding people out here when you're wearing
a jersey.
Speaker 2 (54:04):
And it is like highlighter.
Speaker 3 (54:06):
It seems it's highlighter orange almost like it's not is
it orange? Is it Buffalo braves orange? Or is it
a different type of orange? That's kind of what I'm wondering.
Is it more neon orange? Because from one of the
other pictures it looks more Neonnestly.
Speaker 1 (54:23):
These are the latest, and these look oranges.
Speaker 2 (54:27):
Shit Like, does that look buffalo to you?
Speaker 1 (54:31):
No, it looks like it looks lighter than the fly
like than the flyers.
Speaker 3 (54:39):
Oh yeah, Philly, Yeah, yeah, that makes sense. That's a
good comparison. I honestly, I like it. People got a
think a full of crap. But I said back in
twenty eight, twenty nineteen, when people love those jerseys, I
was like, eh, they're all right to me.
Speaker 1 (54:55):
You're wrong about those two. You're over too. The Shay,
the Shade jersey, the eighty four shave jersey was so
cool with the long name. That was a pict Okay,
you said your one. Yeah, Hey, let's talk about Game
four of last year too. I was going through I
(55:17):
saved a couple uh media passes from last year, and
I was going through them and I wrote down on
some of them. I wrote like first game it into
it Kawhi's return, and then I have I have I
have won from Game four that says G four and
then just a dot dot sad thing. Okay, So you
(55:39):
the positive thing is that you're a glutton for punishment
for liking the New City League, the New City Edition jersey.
Speaker 2 (55:44):
Yeah, I'm gonna dial on this hill with the jersey. Uh.
I think you guys are going to come around. You're
going to come around.
Speaker 1 (55:52):
If someone asked me the one thing I would bring
on a desert island, I would say this jersey because
if I waved it in the air, any plane would
be able to see me.
Speaker 2 (56:02):
Okay, you said this is what I'm gonna light on
fire to create.
Speaker 1 (56:08):
No, I would never burn anything Clippers related. Okay, And
then you got to promo.
Speaker 3 (56:12):
