Speaker 1 (00:15):
Welcome to coach Lets a Big Tank live from world
class Supreme Barbers. That's my new name. I'm sticking with it.
I don't care what he calls it.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Hey, what's going on y'all? This big tank chilling with
with with old less? You know what I'm saying, AKA
big Bridget, you know, because I'm cold.

Speaker 1 (00:31):
On them, you cold on the baby. Hey, and it's raining,
it's snowy. Well it's not snowy, but it feels this.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Is den brother, you know, it's gonna be like that. Man.
We're gonna have, you know, a little bit of funny
weather every now and then. But I'm enjoying all of this.
This rain though.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Okay, we needed, yeah we did. We're gonna get into
the playoffs before we get to anything, I'm not I'm
not gonna say anything about Minnesota because what I said
last week is the first game to me, really means nothing.
It's like boxing. It's like boxing. The first three four rounds,
you're figuring out your opponent. Then you attacked.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Well yeah, true, true, true true. Uh but yeah, you know,
Minnesota just couldn't buy a jump shot last they couldn't
buy a jump shot. That was horrible.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Man humble.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Oh yeah, yeah, he was humbled in game one. You
know what I'm saying. But what he gonna do, He's
gonna run through the roof after that.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Brother, did you hear the coach talk after the game?

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yeah? I heard the coach talk and then you know
he called him out as he should have. He was
supposed to do that. That's what that's what a good
coach is gonna do. Aka Mike Malone. What he's done
in the past, and he's lost his job behind that.
That's not fed to Well.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
I don't think they're gonna fry the coach from Minnesota,
but you know you have to. You have to. You
have to hold the players accountable because the coaches held accountable.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Yeah, of course, but you know, you know when your
team just came knocked down one jump shot, you know
they went almost three four quarters while hitting one three
point and you know they stayed shooting, steady shooting.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
We're not making it, sus It's okay.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
That's like I heard it, man, it was it was.
It was going down. Man.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
That's a badhand. Tank stop, that's a backhand. That's a badhand.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Excuse man, you can't, man, you can't let Draymon. You
can't let Draymond beat period, and that's what happened to
the boys.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Well y'all got a chance. Now Steph Curry's hurt.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Well, I mean Steph Curry could be there or not.
You know, they saying he's gonna miss at least one week.
He got a great one left hand string strange, So
that's one week. So let's say today is what but
today's Wednesday, so he out at least the next Wednesday.
That would be missed about about three games.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Three games, that's that's three.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Games, so they're gonna have to really pull it on out.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Did that make you feel better by Minnesota?

Speaker 2 (02:49):
No? Because they won the game last night. Anyway.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
No, I'm just saying, I mean, how does it make
your chances?

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I just want to win. I just want to win.
You know what I'm saying. I don't care who's out there,
beat whoever is out there. You know what I'm saying.
Don't let nobody look like superstars. Ain't no superstars.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Draymond Green he's a star. He's wont some defensive players,
he's won some Defensive Players of the Year.

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Man killing me, man, I'm yeah, my man got grade
one string man. We won't see him for a week,
so I ain't worry about it.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Okay, Well, okay, I.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Can't worry about that. I worry about who in uniform, okay.
And that's how you do it.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
All I'm doing is asking a question.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
I ain't shooting that. We are shooting, Yes, you have been.
Game five is Monday, so they're gonna miss that.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
But I've been talking the whole No.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
No, Game five is made fourteen, so he might be
missing that one as well.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
But everything that I say is the same thing. Brother. Yeah, yeah,
I keep telling you. Sometimes I just want you go
for big team.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
I know you missed the frieze. You'll be trying to
get it, trying to get under my skin.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
That's what he's trying.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
To I ain't worried about it.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Sometimes I want to hear you. I want you to
fess up.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
I want I wanted to hear what he had to
say about his cowboys. That's why I was gonna start
in on him. I'm letting him live, but I wanted
I wanted to hear Minnesota.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
I want to hear about Minnesota. Uh. You and I
both picked okay, see, and we both picked Cleveland to
not do probably get past this round? Did we not?
We both get we did Cleveland looks like they're not
going to get out of past this round. Then again,
you never know, but they down.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
They down, oh two and spectacular fashion.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
Yeah. By the way, the two to two games where
it looked like they had it but they didn't.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Know what well, game two they really looked like they
had it but didn't have it in the end. They
didn't have it in the end, you know, they did not.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
So you have those two games, I mean, you have
that game, then you also had.

Speaker 2 (04:46):
But but on on the other side of that, though,
you gotta get in the down to that correct you
know what I'm saying. Hally Burton didn't even try really
in the first three quarters, and then you know it
was like, man, okay, he was the man. Within the
last three a minute of that game.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
He had forty eight points.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
No, I ain't talking about IM talking about Halliburn. See
you're talking about uh my man.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Oh all right, yeah, i'malk about yah.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Yeah, yeah, think about Mitch Mitchell.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Yeah, oh he didn't. He didn't really do anything until then.
But here's the thing, though, he's still he's still he
still came up with it. He still found a way
to make it work. You know what I mean, he
found a way to make it work. So, uh, we
picked both of those two teams to lose, and right
now they're both looking like they're gonna lose. We have
Denver tonight that's gonna play Uh, dinner is gonna play. Okay,

(05:33):
see again, tonight Denver escaped with the victory, and so
they escaped with that victory. In now, Uh it looks like,
you know, well, Denver did does have home court. They
have taken home court away. So now it's a whole
new ball game as far as everything goes.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
Yeah, true, true, true, Uh.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Denver, I still think Oklahoma City still they've done.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
I'm talking about they showing that they're young and they're
not ready to go above you know, you know pass point.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
I just said that. But I'm saying at least they
I still think they're gonna put some fight, a fight
at it.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
I mean, you're supposed to put the fight up. But
you know what I'm saying, Denver got one very important
thing done. They got they won on their home court.
It took on Game one too, but.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
That that's their experience. Their inexperienced shows as a coach
as well, because as a coach, you don't say file
immediately when it's ten seconds left. You let them drive
the ball out. Uh. And then it's the and then
you file across half court. You don't score if you
because he's gonna be m v P guilded. He better
be m v P. Uh. You don't go down and
you don't score that.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
They're gonna give him the m v P before they
get put out of the playoffs. They're gonna let him
go out there with that trophy and you know, hey, man,
you won the m v P. Goodbye. Yeah, that's what
they're gonna.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
Do to well, they they not gonna do it to them.
The different Nuggets what you call him, the no guts,
no guts is gonna put hands, gonna put that's what
they're putting hands on it right now.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Well, the spectacle of fashion.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
No, not really. That wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Man, You would thought that you thought they was done
for me in that first game. In that first game,
you would said, oh man, this over.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
When it was ten seconds left and I saw them
start filing the way that they did, and Grill Christ
go and make that basket. Yeah, I said no, I said,
they give them a check.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
And then my man checked home grown. Man, you just
can't mass the end of the game. Man, you gotta
knock down a free throw.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Did you see his face?

Speaker 2 (07:26):
A man? But you know, but my man hit a
three point shot anyway, you know what I'm saying. Had
he noted it up, I mean, if he knocked down
both free throws, it would have tied it up.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
But you know, you dennis a whole another situation because
now the yeah, you're going overtime, so.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
You know, I'm way I'm looking at it. I mean,
great assists from Russell west Brook. Uh, you know, my
man shot the ball. You know what I'm saying. Aaron Gordon,
A g put out a he put a good shot up.
You know, everything was yeah, yeah, I mean that was awesome.
I gotta give him the credit. Long as they ain't
have west Break putting up the shot, they.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Was okay, Well he was driving to go to the hole. Yeah,
and then he saw my man why wide open?

Speaker 2 (08:06):
Oh yeah? And that and then Bron played his butt off.
I gotta give Bron his credit. Man. Still, probably Christian
Bron played his but I think he's.

Speaker 1 (08:14):
Still an end up with maybe ten million. I don't
think he'll get much more. You mean, you gotta look
at it. Man, he started in the NBA. Man starters
in the NBA gonna make ten million either, I mean anyway,
So you know it's time to start. It's happened to
get bread. So is it time? No, it's not next.
How many years he been in the league?

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Three?

Speaker 1 (08:35):
This is this far.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
He was a rookie when they wanted all So this
is year three.

Speaker 1 (08:42):
Four? No, they did win the three years.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Right, this would be year three. This is year three
for him.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
But don't you won't you decide to give him money.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
You have five years, you know what I'm saying. You can.
You can extend him when you want to. You don't
have to give him nothing. You ain't got to go
out and give him no big contract. Why would you
give him a big contract. You already loaded your front
load with contracts right now? Why would you even worry
about a contract?

Speaker 1 (09:04):
Give him some money now?

Speaker 2 (09:06):
No, you don't give him no money now. He's getting
enough money as it. He's a first round draft pick.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
I'm giving him some money now, and I extend him
now that I would do so.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
You extend him with the five years. You know what
I'm saying, the five year deal. So you know that's
all you do. And I'm quite sure Denver did the
same thing. You know what I'm saying. Man's so you
know in twelve seventy six in the last and three
pointers in the last two games, you know they've they've
been shooting bad on a three pointers. I was like, wow,

(09:37):
it surprised me.

Speaker 1 (09:38):
Well, it looks like tonight. I don't know who you
have tonight. Who would you take tonight based off of
what you just selling the first game?

Speaker 2 (09:46):
Okay, well I'm talking about just the first season, just tonight.
It's tonight's game. So we're gon, we're gonna talk Boston,
New York, Boston, New York, Boston gotta come back, and
you know what I'm saying, and put New York away.
But that's my whole thing, that not they not putting
guys away. You up twenty on teams, man, it's gonna

(10:07):
slow it down. It's a way that you play when
you're up twenty. You know what I'm saying. I'm from
school of Mike Chefskin and Bob Knight on that. I'm
up twenty. Okay, well we're gonna start walking the ball up.
We're gonna take time off the clock. I'm not gonna
let you rush me into you know, playing you know,
rush barbman, And that's how teams come back when they
down twenty. When you see guys down twenty, how you

(10:28):
how you how what they're doing is you know, Okay,
they rushing that that team that's up. You know what
I'm saying, to run into their offense success. And now
we're gonna walk this ball down. We're gonna basically hit corners.
You know what I'm saying. I got twenty four seconds
to play with you. You understand what I'm saying. You're
not gonna come back that quick. You're not just gonna
come back that quick. I'm up twenty. I'm gonna show.

(10:49):
I'm gonna show you why I'm up twenty. You know
what I'm saying, You're not gonna come back and hit
all all your shots feels. You see what I'm saying.
If I'm up twenty in the game, I know how
to Okay, this is what we do right here. Now
we're gonna walk. You understand what I'm saying, because they
what they want to do. They want to get it
all back, and you know what I'm saying, because they
wanted back fast.

Speaker 1 (11:08):
Yeah yeah, yeah, that's.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
We So we got we did Boston and New York.
Who else is the Who's the Western Conference? Okay, see,
I expect the I expect the them to come out
with a punch tonight. They come out they did, but
Denver withstood the punch and made them play fast. It's
just like, this is fine. They made them play too

(11:32):
fast and they wasn't ready to play that fast.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
What's the key to both of those teams? The guy
that's in charge reboth No, No, I'm talking about. The
key to what you've just finished saying comes from both
of those guys. Talking about the coaches. Even though Missoula
won the championship, that was a team that was.

Speaker 2 (11:48):
That's that's that's that's.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Boston's coach and I'm
talking about Okay, both coaches. They they instead of controlling
their players, they let the players play their own game.

Speaker 2 (12:04):
They start with your start. Everybody knows it. Yeah, the
whole game starts with your start. You know what I'm saying.
If you missing you know what I'm saying. It's just
like when we watched last night's game at missing everybody
was missing, Oh no question one point? Like wow, man,
you know what I'm saying, take the ball to the right.
And you know, my boy Barkley said it at halftime

(12:26):
like I've always like I would say, Man, look he
unstoppable going to the whole. Why are you steady? You
know what I'm saying. Shooting three? You know what I'm saying.
You then fell in love with the three point shot.
This is what the problem is. They can't stop you
when they go to the hole, go to the hope.
And that's what you're gonna do to You're gonna you're
gonna have in foul trouble everything like that. He said, Man,

(12:47):
look man, if you're not shooting free throws, you're in cheams.
Not gonna win.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
Yeah, no, And that's that's very true. Yeah, that's very true.
So uh, Indiana pulled it out. Man the where they shooting?

Speaker 2 (13:01):
Man, holy halliburt, but he's jumper. He got an ugly shot.
And if you remind me of what my man playing
the Sacramento for all of them, your Kelvin Martin.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Ugly ugly shot but it's wet.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Come on, man, Jamal willis ugly shot, but it went.

Speaker 1 (13:21):
In and and this shot is just it's just all
mm hmm. It's just all that when he when he
stepped back and he hit that three because I didn't
think it was gonna go in for some reason until.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
He got out that hand off that shooting a brother.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
Well, uh, that's two for them. I don't think they're
too I don't think there's no.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
We can we can wrap that one up. I mean,
they might be able to push it to what they're
gonna unless they're gonna go four straight on them. But
they got injuries, injuries over there, and you know that
when you got when you got your best power for
it and your starting point guard over there. You know
they sitting on the bench. That don't help.

Speaker 1 (14:00):
Yeah, So the NBA, and you know we're talking about
uh my beloved Cowboys.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
Ah yeah, let's go to the NFL.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Long you know what, but how would you how would
you grade that pickets? You know, he getting jail.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
It seems to me like Pittsburgh's getting dumber and dumb.
You know what I'm saying, you messing with you. I
don't want to call him a dope fan. But I'm
gonna call him a dopean. You know, this dude is
going off on retreats and stuff like that, drug retreats
and all that, and you steady waiting on this dude.
You know this is this is not the situation of
my man, Brett Barr. You know what I'm saying, saying,

(14:37):
Hey man, I'm with y'all. You know what I'm saying,
Just give me some time.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
You know what I mean, because with him, what he's
trying to do is he's trying to wait until he
feels comfortable like he does like he's been doing. But
he feels like it's comfortable for him to go head
and to play. That's what he wants to do. And
I would I would think that Tomlin would be a
little bit unless this is from upper manage, because he

(15:00):
could be upper management here. It could it could be
upper manage. Uh huh. So I have no no idea.
I don't think this is a talenting thing. Oh it's
not Mike Tarman. Yeah, it's not Mike Tarman.

Speaker 2 (15:13):
I believe it's this management, of course, But you know
what I'm saying, You got Mike, he got Mike Townland,
you know, like a hamstrong man.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
He's stuck.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Yeah, you know what I'm saying, because I'm quite sure
he probably would have even took Saunders in the draft.

Speaker 1 (15:26):
I believe so too.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
I think he was. I think he hamstrung right now. Man,
I think he's in a lamb duck situation over there
in uh in Pittsburgh. Yeah, and man, somebody gotta come
to rescue and let my boy bout.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Well. He's he hasn't did anything but losing the first
round forever.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
But that's all right. Hey, let's let's just say this
right here. He had Pittsburgh there relevant. He ain't had
no talent. That means he's coached everybody up.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
He's been relevant, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
So you gotta, hey, man, you gotta give him his dupe.
His defense is always there to kick you in the
in the hind parts. You know what I'm saying. He
needs some offense. And when you have offense, was one
thing you do is if you trade for a guy
who's this grunner over in Seattle. Okay, fine, so we're
gonna get him a young QB to throw him the ball.
You know what I'm saying, and you know the guy

(16:17):
this Grunnlp coming over from you know what I'm saying, Seattle.
I mean, he gonna be even more disgrunner. He's like, man,
who's gonna throw me the ball?

Speaker 1 (16:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (16:26):
Will Howard from Ohio State come on, man, like I mean,
I like Ohio State. I mean, you know, but you know,
I'm like, I look at that and I'm like, uh no,
that's not gonna work, you know what I'm saying. And
they haven't had that quarterback Mason Rudolph over there.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Come man.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
You know what I'm saying. They keep on bringing this
dude back. You know what I'm saying, Pittsburgh, Man, you
don't need retreads. You know what I'm saying. It's okay
to go buy new tires. Man.

Speaker 1 (16:56):
He's the person that knows the system. I think that's
the reason, because you have to keep that leads.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Come on, they brought helmet head back. Man, they was tripping.
You don't bring helmet head back. You leave him way yet. Man.
But you know what I'm saying, They got all pickings
up out of there and sit him down there to
Dallas and that was huh okay. This is this is
why I say it was dumb on Pittsburgh's card. They
shouldn't you.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
Make that trade during the draft so you get more.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
To get immediate impact. I want immediate impact, not no
impact later. I want immediate impact because then you know, okay,
you see your doors still around now, I could have
picked your door in the third round then in this draft.
But they hurt theirself. They man, I'm expected them to
be last in that divisions.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Shi mmmm, disagree?

Speaker 2 (17:46):
Okay, I mean you know, you could, you could disagree.
You tell me who worse than that? I mean, you know,
but you know what it is. Mike Thomas, he gonna
coach his team up. You know what I'm saying. He's
a five hundre coach.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Easy, Yeah, yeah, I don't know. To me, the Cowboys
problem is they still have Dak Prescott. And I know,
even though that I do like the Cowboys, it's just
something about Dak. Once Jerry Jones told him you can
be a pocket passer. Don't worry about what the coach
is telling. Once that happened, that changed everything, almost like

(18:26):
r G three when he was in Washington and the
coach basically the owner basically told the coaches leaveing alone.
This is my guy. He does what he wants. Dak
Prescott changed the minute that he couldn't that he was told,
Well so to me, I'm just not I'm not a
Dak Prescott thing.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Dak Prescott went to missip State. I don't got no respect.
But no SEC quarterbacks, no way, none of them unless
your name is Star Stabler or Manny.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
That's it.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (19:05):
Both many.

Speaker 2 (19:07):
I said, man if your name Manning and you played
quarterback and the SEC, I gotta give your credit, you know.
And they wanted all of them wanted. Now you got the boy.
Uh he well he going on to seventeenth. Can you
believe that?

Speaker 1 (19:22):
Who Stafford? Oh that's right.

Speaker 2 (19:24):
He finally pulled one out.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
But I don't want an SEC quarterback. I can't take it.
I can't take care of I'm being honest with you,
and I have great I have you know, friend talking
to you. But Minnesota, wh Yeah, went to the University
of Georgia, couldn't win nothing, so so whatever, you're not

(19:50):
what I'm saying. Yeah, but he was. He was the
all time leading pastor in the NFL when he left the.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
Game nineteen nineteen sixty sixty sixty nineteen seventy seven. But anyway,
make a difference.

Speaker 2 (20:09):
His numbers was better than start Back.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
Well, Starback had all world, all everything around him. People
failed to realize. Pittsburgh did win those Super Bowls, but
they had everybody is a Hall of Famer on every position,
offensively and defensively.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
When you win. When you win, they're gonna put you
in the Hall of Fame. When you when you're losing,
I don't care how good you are, it's gonna take
a long time for you.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
You're not saying those You're not saying those are Hall
of Fame players that was on that Pittsburgh team.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
I'm saying, Swann, Star Warth, all them dudes was all world. Yeah,
don't get me wrong, man, you know on Pittsburgh and
all that. But you know, come on, man, uh there
were other players doing during the era. You know what
I'm saying, They just don't get looked at.

Speaker 1 (20:55):
Yeah, it just worth I can I can agree with that.
So Justin Tucker released after thirteen years because.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
He just needed a new home. He just need a
new home.

Speaker 1 (21:04):
Somebody gonna pick him up too, I should hope.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
So you know what I'm saying, if Minnesota didn't have
a good, uh, a good kicker, I say bring him
on over there. But you know, cowboys always in need
of a kicker.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Tay, he's got the exact same, almost exact.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
Same, yeah as just not as many broad you know
what I'm saying. You know, some of the white boys
been trying to keep it under raps man like no
man Sean watching over the tripping man, you know, with
all the missage.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
And they and they ain't doing it. He he, but he,
he's in that same predicament. I don't know. And I
do the women have Busby? I think they have Buzzby.

Speaker 2 (21:46):
I ain't sure. I ain't sure who they got. I
probably need to check it out though.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
And see who they had. But he uh, I hope
it's not Buzzby.

Speaker 2 (21:54):
Will Buzzby out for that money? You know what I'm saying.
You know, you know, uh, you know he on everybody's
handlet right now. You know you know he did this, Sean,
He he did jay z he on your boy shining shop.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
Here here's the difference. Why did it take so long
to get rid of Justin Tucker? But it didn't take
that long to get rid of this.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
He got the complexion for the connection. What do you
mean why, I'm gonna say it straight out, he got
the complexion for the connection. Brother. You know what I'm saying.
It ain't nothing else. You know what I'm saying. It's
black and white. You know what I'm saying. When he
black man.

Speaker 1 (22:29):
Get stuff with him. Happened last summer.

Speaker 2 (22:35):
It could have happened yesterday. They wasn't. You know, they
gonna let it. They gonna let it go.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
To see the letter that they gave him.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Huh what they do?

Speaker 1 (22:44):
They gave him a letter as if he he.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Like it was football related. Yeah, he, I mean because
he had a kind of a little bit of an
off season, but he was still he was still kicking
and doing well.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
He was doing well. He just wasn't doing like he
used to.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
Yeah, you know that that dude played. You know what
I'm saying. He man, that's all time in the in
the organization.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
So he's almost in history percentage wise.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
Yeah, yeah, until last season. You know, the last season's
numbers took him down. But you know that's what he
was going against. He had that you know that stuff,
and yeah, yeah, that stuff all him. Man. Yeah, I'll
fight for my good name. Brother, justin do your thing.

Speaker 1 (23:19):
Man, can't fight for your good name once more than
three or four come out.

Speaker 2 (23:24):
I mean, see, that's that's my thing, man, that's my thing.
So when you're when you're a famous guy and all
this and that, man, come on, man, and you you
hung around with a few famous guys and stuff like that. Man,
you know, and I was a good high school guy
you know where you know, women pay attention to you.
You know what I'm saying. Hey, look here, I'll put
it to you like this right now today. If I
go hit the lottery for two billions, I'm gonna have

(23:50):
a million women who I knew, you know, in my
past talk about you know what I'm saying. You know,
I sexually did something to him.

Speaker 1 (23:57):
That's what it's coming. That's what I mean.

Speaker 2 (23:58):
I'm not, but that's what i'm saying. You know what
I'm saying. Come on, why you ain't report this thirty
years ago or whatever?

Speaker 1 (24:04):
Girl?

Speaker 2 (24:05):
You know what I'm saying that I done did something,
you know, because it ain't nothing happened. That's the whole thing.
What I'm getting at. Well, I think this guy been
around for a while, and you know what I'm saying
he had the richest deal as a kid out there.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Yeah. Yeah, they paid him, paid him.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
He was paid handsomely.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
Uh. The reason I hate this this so much is
because of the women that really do by the way.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
He hit the lottery. Man, you touch me, you know
what I'm saying, doing you man? I don't know when,
but you did. Man, he touched me. I ain't. I
ain't like it. You know what I'm saying. I'm gonna
call up Tony Bus.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
That's where we're at down here.

Speaker 2 (24:42):
You know, Tony Man rubbed my thigh one day while
we was up in the office. Man, I felt uncomfortable
about that. He he sexually assafted me. I've seen it
in his face.

Speaker 1 (24:53):
You know what.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
You know what I'm saying, that's what that's what's gonna
hap man. That's what it is. Man, that's what we are.
It is damned if you do that. You know what
I'm saying, Man, Come on, Man is wrong. If you
ain't getting no charges on the man right when when
stuff been happening. Man, I don't want to hear about it.
You know what I'm saying. Now you want to come
for my money?

Speaker 1 (25:11):
Now? Ye, I'm with you with that one.

Speaker 2 (25:13):
You know that it's unfair. You know what I'm saying.
I ain't speaking up just you know, for no white boys,
black boys, all this stuff. I'm speaking up for everybody.
You know what I'm saying. Come on, man, I got daughters.
If you touch one of them, man, hold on, men, Hey,
I'm coming to see you. Ain't got to worry about
the lawyer. I'm coming to see you on mind. You
know what I mean. And that's what you know what

(25:34):
I'm saying. This is what we were coming down to now.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
And I think most most young ladies, most girls, they're gonna.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
Tell their pops. Man, that's about the situation. This is
all about the money man. This is none It's strictly
about the money man. You know, Like like what my
man Shannon Sharp got jammed up. You know what I'm saying.
That's strictly about some money.

Speaker 1 (25:54):
It is because you get the girl that comes out
of the woodworks from years ago, she'd have been to
prison and everything.

Speaker 2 (26:00):
Yeah you got the yeah man, you know what I'm saying. Yeah, yeah,
she she she kind of looked like a mad fair
one looked at the thing and stuff like that. I'm like, man,
Shannon real bad.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
Hey, but did you see the picture?

Speaker 2 (26:13):
Man?

Speaker 1 (26:13):
But but no, but.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
That's better than that, man, that's what That's what media.
She probably looked good.

Speaker 1 (26:18):
Back in the day, she looked great.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
You know what I'm saying. I love me some pan
grill in the seventies, eighties, even the nineties. Man, you know, Pam.
You know it's twenty twenty five, not fam.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
You know, older, a little older, you know what I'm saying,
a little more season. Yeah, yeah, she's a little boy.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
Good is she? Beautiful? Sister, She's still.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
But you just still think about coffee.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
Oh yeah, man, you said, you know, because we're.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
A little older. So we used to go to the
movies where they had three man names. You know what
I'm saying, flexportations show.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
Right, you know I mean you know, hey, hey, I
always told my wife I leave it for oh so
you know what I'm saying, I'm leaving for the money.
But that's the only reason why I would leave. Like
you know what I'm saying, Yeah, I'm gone. I'm gonna
make sure everything is took care of.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
But I gotta go. But I gotta go, Baby, I
love you, but I gotta go. It was nice being
with you, but I gotta go. Uh yeah, so something
else that is going on, right, but this is enough.
You just brought up Shannon, and it made me think about it.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
Yeah, man, shining out man, you know in trouble brother,
well he he he gonna come out.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
He gonna beat it.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
But I'm saying the charging him with nothing. You know,
this is a case well you know what I'm saying,
the man and fall off the off the guard cardon. Yeah, man,
I want to expect him the joke of the die
he died.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
You know what I'm saying. I'm like, oh, but but
this is why I say lway, my boy, man, I
like way man.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
I know I'm trying to tell you. You know what
I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
I have stories about everybody, but I keep it to myself.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
Yeah, I mean I know, I'm like saying, I like
you way.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
He all right, But here's the thing I was looking at.
You know. I told you know, you know, like everybody
else knows that I do have have certificate from law R.
Yeah yeah, yeah, my certificate. Sorry episode Okay, they brought
up two hours before this is a low crowns. Two
hours before they got on the golf course, he was

(28:11):
drinking heaven they were now they but they said they
don't know what was in John's Now I don't know
no difference what I don't. I don't think I'm drinking
seven up in Coca Cola.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
So they're gonna try and get him in the civil
court and.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Takes exactly that's what they're doing that. So but you
know who else was with them when that happened. Uh,
the dude from h M t V. Johnny Bananas. Johnny Banana.
He was on the back of the golf course. He
was on the cart when it flipped. So Johnny Bananas
is the one that started rendering aid and told John
to go call uh nine one one. But uh, he's

(28:46):
best friends with John's son, his son, and Johnny Banana
is a good friend. So he was the one that's
so he's gonna have to be He's another one. He's
gonna be a witness. He's gotta be a with And
you know it's crazy. A lot of times they don't
ask you to be a witness. They just say come
on down. You know you how many times you have
to go down there and telling the people.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Never you ain't to telling nobody else you ain't bring
him to court about none. You can't get me to court.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
Brother, he said, that's not happening.

Speaker 2 (29:17):
They can't get me to court.

Speaker 1 (29:20):
Yeah. So, uh so that's what we're gonna do. We're
gonna so John is looking. You know, he crashed, the
guy was murdered. They brought up the everything as far
as the uh him drinking two hours before, and we
got all of that is going to be part of
this trial that's coming up with l Way and everybody there.
So we'll see about that one. Also, more news is

(29:44):
going on, more stuff going. We got hockey, and I
should have had the hockey. I should have had my
hockey guy on. I wonder if I can get him
right now, I might be able to get him in Uh.
You know what, I'm gonna try to call him up
real quick and see. I'm gonna see if I can
get him in there right now. I'm gonna see I
need to you know, hockey, I need I need to

(30:04):
call up my guy.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
Went down.

Speaker 1 (30:08):
You know what's crazy. I was watching the ass instead
of Game seven up the Nuggets and uh that last round,
No they tied it up. Well, no, they were up
to one and then they scored a late goal and
then they end up they couldn't hold on, couldn't hold on.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
They couldn't hold it. They couldn't hold them.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Do we look at the coach now and say we
need to get rid of he's gotta wait, hold on,
hold on? The Nuggets got a line up. The Avalanche
have a lineup. Uh, the Rapids have a lineup. You
know we don't have a lineup is the Rockies And
everybody's talking about firing that coach when he he basically

(30:52):
got me and you the man b Moore were the
only ones on the team.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
Man, they got a call up, man, they have not.
I think we should the monfers and be like, man,
come on, man, they don't. I ain't even know Rocky fan,
but I'm like, man, I'm ready to call the monfers
up and say, man, look, man, y'all you know what?
What what do y'all want me to do? You know
what I'm saying? How can I help you?

Speaker 1 (31:13):
Man?

Speaker 2 (31:13):
Because you know your team out here? Man, this this
ain't a good look.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
Man, it's horrid. But they don't care. They have McGregor's
square across the street that they bought up. So what
what they what what they did was, they took they
took uh bless you good brother. What's what's the guy
uh uh that that owns the pro They took Frocky's
molde of what he's doing at stadium, and they did
it here to make them money. So they brought up

(31:39):
the screen outside their rent. Yeah, so they did all
of that. They you know the pet you know who
bought that, right, Yeah, the Mafras bought that. And they
fight something that is going on with the city with
them opening it back up because they wanted to change
it a little bit, but they wanted to keep it
sort of the same. So they wanted to change it

(31:59):
a little bit so that that's just my thing. That's
just my thing. They so I don't know, that's their
whole thing. That's their whole thing, is that they're all
about what they're going to, uh, what they're gonna do.
But they're gonna what they're gonna do as far as
making money away from the team, and that's what they're doing.

(32:21):
They don't care about the team. The people are still
paying the people are still paying for them, so they
could care less. Uh. But I think they're even buying
up more stuff in that area because they want more
stuff in that area. So they got more stuff coming
up that they're gonna get. So as far as the
Mafras go to, Manfas don't care. They could care less.

Speaker 2 (32:40):
Yeah, yeah, the Muffers, you know, they you know, they
they some they some solid people, but with a whole
lot of money. But you know, you gotta get that together.
And you know they're building up downtown trying to make
it right, you know, for the Rockets. But you know
what I'm saying, it all starts with them. Man, you
gotta you got bad management. You know what I'm saying.
You Ring and Clint Hurdle back up in that Clint,

(33:00):
Clint is just one key. But you know what I'm
saying that you could turn on to help her, you know,
to help all of them.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
But but but Black, he's not a bad matter. He's
turned around tons of teams. That's what he got here.
But when he got here, But.

Speaker 2 (33:13):
It all starts with you know what I'm saying, working
up from your minor leagues all the way to your.

Speaker 1 (33:18):
Major give it every Yeah, but you know, yeah, you can't.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
You can't give this talking about oh yeah, we'll give
you this picture and all this money, and that's what
they've been doing, and give give us your number one prospect. No,
we're giving away your money. That is your money. That's
why you're not winning. That's why you're losing one hundred
games this season.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
They did, They lose a hundred yet already.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
They almost they on their way. Remember you remember me saying, man, no,
they ain't gonna lose it.

Speaker 1 (33:43):
Yeah, I'm like.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Man, because I live here, I think they have. And
I'm like, man, I don't want to I don't want
to hear them lose a hundred games again.

Speaker 1 (33:49):
I think right now they are at I'm gonna pull
it up for sure, but I think they had almost.
They almost there.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
Now, you know what I'm saying, We got to give
our city rival report because you know what I'm saying,
we live here here.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
Here's the deal though, So you know I lived literally
two and a half three blocks from State Remember I told.

Speaker 2 (34:06):
You that I walked up to watch my belief you
live in the ballpark lost down there. You know what
I'm saying. With all the with all the rich folks,
I didn't mean to say that, don't.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Your business, but man, they I went to the stadium.
They're playing the Braves. I bought a ticket for ten dollars. Okay,
I had a media Did you eat? I ate a
couple of Rocky Mountain hoists. They delicious?

Speaker 2 (34:34):
Oh many may good.

Speaker 1 (34:36):
Well, if you didn't know what it was, and I
brought it to you, tank, don't worry about it.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
You ain't gonna get it. You ain't gonna give me
the turn.

Speaker 1 (34:42):
You don't know what it is. You don't know what
it is. It's delicious. I didn't know what it was
the first time I ate them. No, I didn't know
what it was. But now you give me I like them.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
I knew what they was before I heard they started sere.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
Give me some French fries with it, and it was
the listen. But I just had me a big broad words,
some popcorn and the soda.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
That was one hundred and fifty dollars.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
It was expensive, but the ticket was only ten.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
Yeah, it cost to get in, but it costs you
a hundred to get out.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
And you can you can basically sit on the bottom.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
Dude.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
There was nobody there. There's nobody going to the game.

Speaker 2 (35:15):
Nobody's gonna go to the game.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Usually you get two months of humans showing up right now,
It's like it's like, uh.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
It's arected. People ain't gonna show up unless it's the
Yankees or some teams that's.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
Not they're not even doing it. They're not really doing
it for that. This year they're gonna come Debraids. Nobody
was there. Usually when the charges of playing people gonna
show up. They have people that shows up for.

Speaker 2 (35:34):
They come to the divisional games though, because you know
they people still hold Dodgers, the Dodgers. Yeah, the divisional
games and when you when got the Dodgers, you got
San Diego, you got you got San fran and uh
you got Arizona. That's their division right there.

Speaker 1 (35:49):
The usually show up this year. It is not. What
I'm saying is yeah they always usually every year's showing
for that dude when they're parking out in front of
my building when it before a Rockies game, that's unheard of.

Speaker 2 (36:01):
Let me ask you this, how do you feel about uh?
I mean not done just to skip that, you know
what I'm saying, Because they have a they have a
grape venion. The state have never been I've never been
to a Rockies game, but I've been inside and looked
around the facilities and there but great ven.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
I tell you what, pick a game. I'm gonna go,
get us, go, get us a couple of ten dollars.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Unless they playing the Minnesota Twins.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
They get, they got the twins, they got, they got.
I'm not mistaken.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
We'll go, we'll go, we'll go, we'll go.

Speaker 1 (36:30):
I'm gonna tell you what. This is how smart the
Marforts are. This is how smart they are. Which the
Monforts built, one whole state, one whole up top. Well,
you know, you bout a five dollar ticket or a
ten dollar ticket. I think it's a twenty dollars ticket,
ten or twenty. You get to get in, and you
get a free drink.

Speaker 2 (36:47):
Man, they ought to be letting everybody up in that
free anyway.

Speaker 1 (36:49):
I know. Did you get that? You get a free
drink along with your ticket. You don't get to sit,
You just get the stamp and it's all of the
local bars up top and you get to go up there.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
They would't get me, and you get to you know, drink.
I ain't standing that long. Ain't you got the rock powder?

Speaker 1 (37:06):
Them tickets like five ten dollars?

Speaker 2 (37:07):
Yeah, I know, the rock big that's what that's a
good one too.

Speaker 1 (37:11):
They found they found ways to make money. But but
they but you think.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
They making money. But you know the thing is they
putting a bad product out there. You know what I'm saying.
You win and one out of every three four games,
so you getting swept all the time.

Speaker 1 (37:27):
You're not winning one out of the three four games.
They winning one out of every five, five.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
To six games. You know, that's really.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
Good, six to seven.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
So now they it's time. It's time to make a
change right now, not not just uh and it might
not be your manager, it might be you know what
I'm saying, you got to look at your general manage
what they did, look at your general match because they
What I would do is if I'm the monk, right,
I would get one of the best baseball minds in

(37:58):
the world to me. And it's a guy by the
name of Andy mcfel, Right, Yeah. Andy mcpel helped Minnesota
Twins win a Super win a World Series. He left there,
went to work for the Boston Red Sox, helped them
win a World Series, and then you know what he did,
He left there and went to Chicago and helped the

(38:21):
Cubs win the World Series. That's who I would that's
who I would bring just to come. You know, hey,
tell me what we need to do for our organization
to be even relevant, because this is ridiculous. This is
not how you win. You're not gonna win baseball.

Speaker 1 (38:37):
Games like they're six and twenty eight. Six and twenty
eight got six. Damn bad, isn't it.

Speaker 2 (38:45):
Yeah, it's really bad. That's one out of five all month.

Speaker 1 (38:48):
That's six, one out of six games. Yeah, no other team,
if I'm not mistaken, I'm looking right now, but no
other team is in single wins.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
Singlebody else got ten wins at least. It's on the season,
Lord Mercy, And you want me to go to a game.

Speaker 1 (39:05):
Hey, it's about the experience. Remember when they used to
say that it's about the experienced, baby, It's not about
the game.

Speaker 2 (39:13):
It's about the experience.

Speaker 1 (39:15):
The experience. Hey, we had started on Shannon Sharp and
then we got the way. We'll get back over now.
The thing with Sharp. You said that you think this
isn't gonna hurt Sharp at all. It's not gonna be
a dame.

Speaker 2 (39:27):
I told her, as I said before, I'm not even
down for guilty innocence. And you know, but man, this
is a shakedown. It's just a modern day shakedown. And
I'm gonna go ahead and say, man, shinning, you know,
I mean, no matter all the stuff that's out there
gives you. You know, hey, man, I think you know,
I think you could be Okay.

Speaker 1 (39:46):
Now, the second lady that comes along now, she still
looked like she did twenty something years ago.

Speaker 2 (39:52):
I think even if she even if she was attracted,
she could be you know what I'm saying, just to
pop up like she did. Yeah, she could, she could
be super attractive. It's as shakedown. That's what you got
going on.

Speaker 1 (40:02):
She has busby too.

Speaker 2 (40:03):
I don't know, I mean I would assume, but you
know she getting Yeah, of course that's that's what's going on,
because that's about the money. Yeah, you know what I'm saying. Yeah,
And you know, you know, I mean, you know they
messing with They messing with Shannon Sharp, they mess with
my boy, Smoky Robinsons' even that no, Smokey Robinson eighty
eighty plus years old, almost ninety, man, and they want

(40:25):
to come mess with Smoky.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
You know, he's just about a shakedown man.

Speaker 2 (40:29):
If you're not. But as again I said, if you're
not doing it when it happened. You know what I'm saying,
It's unbelievable to come back years later. I don't believe
you coming back years later you've been assaulted. You know
what I'm saying, What are you doing? What are you
putting in your head? You know what I'm saying. What
are you putting in your head? You know you're thinking, Oh,
I got I'm coming back. You know what I'm saying,

(40:49):
twelve fifteen years later talking about Oh he did this
to me. Nah, you need to bring this to the table.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
Now, that's what's which one?

Speaker 2 (41:01):
Yeah, yeah, you know what I'm saying. Oh yeah, they
had the maid Yeah, Smokey Robinson with the maids. But
you know, back back to you know Shannon though. You
know what I'm saying, these were made, These was women
who you know what I'm saying, consented, You know what
I'm saying. And it's obvious that you know you consent.
You know what I'm saying. You know, he's wrong for

(41:22):
messing with a woman in nineteen period because you know
we old jokes. Yeah, you're looking at a woman nineteen
something wrong, I mean, you know, Okay, yeah, we'll see
you beautiful but you a year from graduation. Just you
understand what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (41:38):
What what is?

Speaker 2 (41:39):
What is a matter of though? You know that age
even you know what I'm saying, looking at a woman
that young for you know what I'm saying, it just
don't it just don't work that way. But you know,
I mean, that's the only thing that just makes him
look bad.

Speaker 1 (41:51):
That's she was older. You don't think we'd be having
as much.

Speaker 2 (41:54):
Man, we wouldn't even be having this conversation. You see
the second chick came out. You know what I'm saying,
It ain't it ain't even that situation.

Speaker 1 (42:01):
She uh, she does not she did not age well.

Speaker 2 (42:05):
Well, you know sometimes women don't age well. That one
showed it some sometimes women don't age well.

Speaker 1 (42:11):
You know.

Speaker 2 (42:11):
And you know, and I'll put it to you like this,
you know who I love? Or is it just in age? Well?

Speaker 1 (42:17):
Or is that?

Speaker 2 (42:18):
And I hate to put out that man, And I
still I still watch the show to this day in reruns.

Speaker 1 (42:23):
Jazmine God, Jasmine.

Speaker 2 (42:26):
God was so fine?

Speaker 1 (42:28):
Brother? Who and now and now you look at it
and you stay well, I say, man, damn, what would
you date if you were if you were married? Now
if you weren't married, would you date it just because
of old time sake or not?

Speaker 2 (42:43):
Mm hmm, think about that. No, she looks that bad. No,
she don't look that bad. But you know what I'm saying,
she don't look that bad.

Speaker 1 (42:51):
Man.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
Come on, man, today is May seventh. Man, you don't
know what happened twenty three years ago.

Speaker 1 (42:55):
Today, Man, I'm sure you're gonna tell me what we
talking about?

Speaker 2 (43:00):
Practice? Talking about practice? Was that twenty three years twenty
three years ago? Today we're talking about practice, y'all. He
can't take a But you know what I'm saying, I
was kicking it that I had to get away from
that job and god thing, man, everybody gonna be talking
about me. Man, she she married a guy from my hometown.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
Oh district from any uh Yeah, from Gary. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (43:22):
Brother brother by the name of Terrence Ducker. You know him? No,
he ran track against my older brother. My older brother
know him, Yeah, Chance Duck. Look him up. University of
Ours fast brother man track track that the UFC.

Speaker 1 (43:37):
I know. I don't know if you don't watch it
as much as I don't watch it. Really, that's a
big name. But is any big names that really when
you think about it, because it's all you're just seeing
the same fights with you.

Speaker 2 (43:48):
They ain't They ain't building it up as as I've
seen him do it in the past. But you know,
they got some good guys out there they just haven't had.
They can't keep putting them in the you know, in
the ring. You know what I'm saying. They can't put
them in the ring two weeks after they just got
out of the ring.

Speaker 1 (44:03):
Well right now, right now, three fifteen, nobody's buying the tickets.

Speaker 2 (44:10):
Well, that that means he needs to he needs to
slow down. She he's putting stuff out there like every weekend,
every other weekend. You can't do that.

Speaker 1 (44:18):
He used to be able to do that because he
had the fighters to do that. You wouldn't evenavi it anything.

Speaker 2 (44:22):
It reminds me of of of boxing back in Uh,
I'm gonna say the nineties. Do you remember Tuesday night fights?

Speaker 1 (44:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (44:30):
Well, you know what I'm saying. You get some good boxing.
You know what I'm saying. You say, Okay, this is cool,
you know what I mean. But it was enough boxes out.

Speaker 1 (44:38):
There that you can do that. Well, well, well they
they're doing that now.

Speaker 2 (44:41):
She but you know, this is what I'm trying to say, though,
but he's still selling his product on pay per view
every weekend. Everybody don't want to ain't finiking you fifty
bucks every weekend? Watch stuff?

Speaker 1 (44:51):
Well, Hymon isn't doing Oh you're talking about us.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
We're talking about UFC. We was talking to us here.
I was just bearing it.

Speaker 1 (44:56):
No, it is because right now with boxing, it's a
great product because there's so many fights going on right now,
and like we were just talking before.

Speaker 2 (45:04):
Us Turkey dollars ship. You know what I'm saying. He
got the money to put them guys in the ring
and as soon as they fight, but they're not good.
They're not good. They've beaten Turkey upside the head for
that money. What do you mean, man, some of the
fighters are good, man, they're not. No, the fights ain't good.
I ain't saying the fighters aren't good. The fights ain't good.

Speaker 1 (45:24):
The matchups. Is that what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (45:25):
You gotta get the you gotta get good matchups going.
This is the way I feel. There are too many belts.
You heard meself, so, But in regardless of the belts,
you know what I'm saying, these guys don't fight each
other a championship fight three times a year. The champions
should fight three times a year, if.

Speaker 1 (45:44):
You know what, according to what kind of fight? You
haven't though, now you mean.

Speaker 2 (45:50):
You're trying to you should fight. H you should fight
between uh January, uh January, April, from April to you
know what I'm saying to you know, to maybe August,
and then one morning in the winter. You know what
I'm saying, winter, spring, summer.

Speaker 1 (46:06):
Hold on you you're you're you're what you're doing is
you're looking at I'm saying the champions, no, no, but the
seventies and eighties, that's what they used to do. And
I don't think the fighters are built that way anymore.

Speaker 2 (46:16):
Well they ain't built no way. They ain't build no way.
Come on.

Speaker 1 (46:23):
The only person I see doing that right now is
constantly been doing that is your man Canela. He's taking fights.
I mean he taking four times, but it's not fighting fights.
He fight dudes with nicknamed pillow hands man. Come on,
man' The dudes ain't doing nothing.

Speaker 2 (46:37):
Brothers just getting that money, wouldn't you If you're gonna
keep on just giving me some money, come on with it.
So uh, what we do is we got we have
a big fight coming, and uh, I think they're going
in September. Him and but Crawford, Yeah, but yeah, but
but I'm not you know Chance okay, Okay, hen't deserve

(47:01):
a nickname to me?

Speaker 1 (47:02):
Okay? Why not? You know you don't think he's that
good of a parent.

Speaker 2 (47:07):
He's parents.

Speaker 1 (47:08):
I'm gonna have to call him, but I like you
call him Bud, you can call him whatever. Why do
you say that he's not I need to get deeper into.

Speaker 2 (47:15):
Canello in five, But I'm gonna do it like your
boy Vanelo?

Speaker 1 (47:19):
What he say? No something? No something, no something? Vanello
and five? You think Canelo on knocking back? Oh, well
he's going up and wait easy. So I get that
he's easy, easy work. What does that do to his
his legacy if he goes up and he gets knocked out?
If he makes it through the fight.

Speaker 2 (47:37):
If you make it through the fight. I don't see
him making it through the fight. I think he's a bump.

Speaker 1 (47:40):
Okay, But why why you say that? Though? You just
can't say?

Speaker 2 (47:43):
You know everybody know who listened to our show. No,
I'm not a crows for guy. Okay, But but I'm
saying I'm not a Crows for guy, I'm not gonna
ever just give him credit like.

Speaker 1 (47:52):
That because in your in your eyes and your reasoning why.

Speaker 2 (47:57):
I don't think he's that good. I just don't think
that good. I think he's one of the guys who
you know what I'm saying. I mean, you know, I
mean Floyd Mayweather was a good a good boxer. You
know what I'm saying. I think he's just an average boxer.
When I look back at him his resume, don't say, oh, man,
I was the best all time or anything like that.
Can you tell me his opponents at certain weight classes

(48:19):
where he was just out there, you know what I'm saying,
just killing people. No, you can't. I just think he
was a good boxer.

Speaker 1 (48:26):
Terrence Crow, all right, I think Bud's better than I think.
I'm trying what I'm doing right now in my head, and.

Speaker 2 (48:36):
I know you're thinking about it in your head because
you like that. You know what I'm saying. You're a
cerebal dude, man. So what I'm saying is, you know
you look at it. Men, You're like, come on, well,
who did he fight? He didn't fight. He didn't fight
guys like that. Man.

Speaker 1 (48:49):
Okay, I have a guy that did that with you,
saying that, I have a guy that I need to
get on with you. Uh. I have a guy that says,
Mike Tyson wasn't a great fight. I have a guy
that tells me that all the time. He says, because
he never fought anybody. Yeah, he fought the best that
was out there that were pretty much as been. This
isn't me talking nowt this is somebody's so he said.

(49:12):
When he finally fought the Holy Fields and he fought
those guys, it.

Speaker 2 (49:16):
Was after that was when he was basically done. I
wanted you to say that. I wanted you to say
that because I wanted to back you down in this hole.
I didn't say I said it. Okay, well said someone else.
That guy's argument, and you know what I'm saying. I
advised him to listen to what I'm finna say. Now, Okay,

(49:38):
all right, Mike Tyson could have been a limpit lost
in the uh you know, you know, going down and
messing around in the springs and stuff like that. And
you know who happened to be there. You know, you
had them Lennox Lewis's and you had those Uh, A
guy by the name of Vanyuel the Holy Field who
ended up you know, representing you know what I'm saying,
the country that year.

Speaker 1 (49:57):
What was that we're talking about? Dy eighty four?

Speaker 2 (50:00):
Yeah, so you know we're talking about We're going all
the way back to eighty two and eight.

Speaker 1 (50:04):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:05):
So with Mike then fifteen sixteen at the time. You
know what I'm saying. And you know, if Vander's older
than you know what I'm saying, than than Mike and
uh uh your boy, uh Lennix Lewis, Oh, Lenny Leeward,
Lennis Lewis is older than than him as well. So
Mike don't make it on the Olympics. You know what
Mike does? Turn pro? So if I turned pro, if

(50:31):
I turned pro.

Speaker 1 (50:31):
What do you?

Speaker 2 (50:32):
Uh? What do you do?

Speaker 1 (50:35):
What do you? What are you? What are you talking?

Speaker 2 (50:36):
Okay? If I turn you fight who.

Speaker 1 (50:38):
They give you, exactly, you fight who they give you.

Speaker 2 (50:40):
Okay. So now I got to work my way up
the list.

Speaker 1 (50:42):
But you but everybody fights bums. Tank when the first no.

Speaker 2 (50:46):
No, no, understand that he was fighting the best out there.
You know what I'm he fought the best alcohol.

Speaker 1 (50:52):
So you so you're you're what you're trying to tell me.

Speaker 2 (50:54):
If you're telling me, I'm telling you you look at
the heavyweight division, and okay, I'll give you my first five,
five six fights I'm fighting. You know what I'm saying,
regular bumps, right okay, all right now, now after I
brought those fights, right now, I'm gonna fight guys under
You know what I'm saying. Who are you know in
the top ten?

Speaker 1 (51:14):
No, he did not go to top ten now, no, no, no,
he would know he you know what these guys are
in the top ten, pulling up, putting it up. Because
when he first started, we.

Speaker 2 (51:23):
Talking about ranked heavyweights. You know what I'm saying, Mike
Tyson started fighting everybody in You know what I'm saying,
I'm top ten James Bone crushing Smith's and all them guys.
But that wasn't Pere Thomas's and no, no, no, that's later.
But I'm just saying, though he fought, he fought all up.
He had to come on, man, he started fighting guys
within the top ten.

Speaker 1 (51:45):
I'm pulling it up.

Speaker 2 (51:46):
And he wasn't even the champion yet.

Speaker 1 (51:48):
I'm pulling it up.

Speaker 2 (51:49):
You know what I'm saying. He wasn't even the champion yet.

Speaker 1 (51:51):
No, he wasn't a champion. But what I'm saying is.

Speaker 2 (51:54):
So you know what I'm saying. It wasn't like he
was on a bum of the month or neither.

Speaker 1 (51:59):
Let's just say you have to start off like that.

Speaker 2 (52:02):
No, No, he wasn't on a bum of the Month tour.
I'm what I'm saying is when he started out, you
know what I'm saying, like you know, with his first
five fights, Okay, bumma the month, bumma the month, bumming them,
you know what I mean. And then okay, now, now
where do we go? Where do we go after that?
We got we gotta put some you know what I'm saying,
some bodies up in here, some real live bodies.

Speaker 1 (52:24):
Okay. So of course, well Frank Bruno and all of
those were.

Speaker 2 (52:28):
Later, that's later, come on both. But all that stuff
is letter I'm trying to pull up. Uh Man, you
can't nobody tell me about Mike Man. Well, you know
what I'm saying. I said, it's not me, but that's
that's what I'm trying to get at. So with Man,
with Mike Man, he thought all those guys, man who
was dead? You understand. So you're trying to tell me

(52:51):
boxing wasn't no good.

Speaker 1 (52:52):
Oh, boxing was great?

Speaker 2 (52:53):
Okay, So if boxing was great, so why come Mike
Tyson ain't. Look that's great? I do.

Speaker 1 (53:00):
I just said, I need to get this cat on
to get up because you great, great weight. You just
finished sing that Bud to you is not great. Everyone
looks at him up until.

Speaker 2 (53:09):
But he don't have the opponents to be great. That's
what I'm saying. He doesn't have the opponents to be great.
Mike Tyson didn't Mike Tyson didn't run from nobody.

Speaker 1 (53:18):
Well, uh, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (53:20):
They ran from Mike Tyson. You get what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (53:25):
I get where you're coming from.

Speaker 2 (53:26):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (53:27):
I can say the same thing about Budd because right
now pound for pound he was.

Speaker 2 (53:32):
I don't care nothing about a pound for pound list.
Pound found list don't mean nothing.

Speaker 1 (53:36):
Well, look, Japanese guy, Korean guy. Anyway, Yeah, he just
moved past Budd properly.

Speaker 2 (53:42):
I mean anyway, just got knocked down in his last
fight too.

Speaker 1 (53:45):
That was this past weekend.

Speaker 2 (53:46):
Yeah, this past weekend. I was about two weeks him.
Yeah did he But he won though, right, he won
came back he got a t k O technical knockout,
he got a.

Speaker 1 (53:56):
Five six pelpas from different weight classes. Going up he's
doing just like uh heck, yeah, he's just going up
up now.

Speaker 2 (54:04):
But he knows he don't want to go no further.
I dare him to go into at least the one
thirty right now. He had one twenty seven. You see
what I'm saying. Right now, he's he's holding out at once.

Speaker 1 (54:17):
So if he goes up that would be anyway.

Speaker 2 (54:19):
You got a brother too, He pretty good fight too.
He undefeated as well.

Speaker 1 (54:22):
But if he goes one more, where's you if I
take thirty one thirty five? Okay, if I take thirty five.
So if he goes up to thirty, who's at thirty?

Speaker 2 (54:30):
Oh man, you got a lot of guys at thirty.
You got the guy that just took him to the draw.

Speaker 1 (54:37):
Oh to a draw.

Speaker 2 (54:39):
He'd won thirty pound champ right now, he's one hundred
and thirty pounds champ right now. See the thing is
just like I was just saying, you know, he got
knocked down in his fight, right So with him getting
knocked down in his fight, you know what I'm saying,
Guy's got a lot more strength.

Speaker 1 (54:56):
Now you see what I'm saying where he came from.

Speaker 2 (55:00):
You know what I'm saying. When so when you fighting
them guys at one thirty, you in trouble jack because
everybody got that knockout power in either hand. And that's
what happened.

Speaker 3 (55:10):
So I still think, but oh but back still sleep
talking about Mike. Yeah, we're talking about so Mike.

Speaker 2 (55:22):
With Mike, uh you know, he he he did his
little bumb of the month toward for the first few fights,
and man, you know he you know, then he starts
stepping up in his class and talent. Man, you know.
And by the time he was in his time, he
was in his twelfth fight, he was fighting all them guys, right,
everybody was lining up like, okay, well we'll give him
a shot. We want it.

Speaker 1 (55:41):
But here's the thing. They wanted that smoke heavy heavyweight
class at that time.

Speaker 2 (55:46):
And you gotta think he stayed in the heavyweight class.
He moved around, you know what I'm saying, like Brawford had.
You know what I'm saying, all he did was just stay,
you know, stand still. You know what I'm saying, because
you know heavyweight, what you're gonna do drop down to
go fight light heavyweight or something like.

Speaker 1 (56:00):
No, he said that, but that's all when we talk
about the Pinkland, Thomas and all of those guys, the
both us, that's what was in the heavyweight class. Yeah,
but that was all them. That weight class was the
most powerful weight class. We had the best. So that's
why he was fighting all of those guys because that
was there.

Speaker 2 (56:18):
And he fought the best, and he fought the best.
Check this out. So now let me just put it
to you like this. So Mike Tishon won the heavyweight
champion win twenty one at twenty one. No, he was
younger than that, twenty.

Speaker 1 (56:33):
I think he was twenty.

Speaker 2 (56:34):
Serry, how was Mike tashweight championship?

Speaker 1 (56:37):
It was twenty or twenty one. Mike Tyson was twenty
years old when he won the heavyweight championship, So.

Speaker 2 (56:44):
Thank you, Seri.

Speaker 1 (56:46):
I told you. Yeah, he's twenty twenty one.

Speaker 2 (56:48):
Yeah. Trevor Barber, Yeah, was that a fight? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (56:53):
When you know what Trevor fought a little bit.

Speaker 2 (56:54):
Trevor was Yeah, you just said that was that a fight?
He with Ale's asked.

Speaker 1 (57:00):
He was old by the time. Yeah, when you were
you're right old.

Speaker 2 (57:06):
Lead He was one hundred and seventy three years old.

Speaker 1 (57:09):
Yeah, he beat the old.

Speaker 2 (57:10):
Okay, he didn't beat the young allid you know, make it,
make it whatever you want to make it. Man, it
is what it is. That's just what he beat it.
That's part of the game.

Speaker 1 (57:19):
No, it is. But I'm saying it was a it
was a young I mean it was a young Burbon
and it was old and it was old Hill all right.
So uh yeah, so I'm gonna give you a list
of something.

Speaker 2 (57:31):
Okay, but okay, so he was twenty so that made
that made uh that makes uh what uh Evander Holy
feeling them like twenty two to twenty three?

Speaker 1 (57:42):
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no oh wait wait
no I stopped, did you see.

Speaker 2 (57:47):
Yeah he stopped, just say, like two years older than him,
two to three.

Speaker 1 (57:52):
But here's the thing. He still didn't fight them until
he was old. Today were all older.

Speaker 2 (57:57):
That's my whole meaning. Why come y'all don't want that? Yo?
It wasn't them, Yeah, yeah, it was hold on, this
is what this is what uh let me tell you
what Lenny's Lewis folks did. They kept him out of
the pros. They said, man, you just go back and
go back into the lynn.

Speaker 1 (58:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (58:12):
But but because he came back in nineteen eighty eight
and was a super heavyweight.

Speaker 1 (58:16):
But he is it did that had nothing to do
with Mike Tyson. Had everything to do with Don King.
That was Don King that wasn't letting him fight those
people that were that.

Speaker 2 (58:25):
He was had all the belts and undefeated, but he
didn't fight those guys. And you know, your boy didn't
want that smoke. You know, Holyfield was fighting. He was
out that pro. He was a profile those guys. Listen,
he was a pro four years in. He did not
after after the Lempids. He was four years but he was,
but he was hold holy Field was not even his.

Speaker 1 (58:46):
His promoter, but he wasn't fighting those men.

Speaker 2 (58:49):
Don King won his promote, but.

Speaker 1 (58:50):
He was not. But what I'm trying to say is.

Speaker 2 (58:53):
You know you still have Mike Tyson with Bill Catan there.
Bill Caton was was his promoter when he was. I'm
trying to tell you by the time Mike Tyson was
you know what I'm saying, By the time Mike Tyson,
I want to say nineteen eighty eight, Yeah, that's when
he started. He got the go promotion with Don King.

(59:13):
You know what, you understand what I'm saying. Don King
didn't run no show. You see what I'm saying, Don
King didn't run the show.

Speaker 1 (59:22):
Yeah, well, on that note, brother, go ahead, got the
playoffs coming up? Come on, we got it, we got it.
We'll we'll get back to where we're gonna where where
we have in Minnesota. What we gonna do, We're.

Speaker 2 (59:38):
Gonna put I got put, I got it, I got
Minnesota and Shick.

Speaker 1 (59:41):
Put the pop on it. Yeah, we on Minnesota and Sick.
It won't be set well with with Steph out. I
can't take that back. If Steph was with step No,
if Steph is playing, I take that back. But without it.

Speaker 2 (59:54):
Sounds like we don't have a bat people. You know
what I'm saying, because he ready to close up the
show on No already, No, I said, I take it.
Give me give me a bet that give me a
gentleman bet. That ain't a gentleman bet without Steph Carrot. Allright, No,
Steph currt, Come on, dog, we just bet one soda.

Speaker 1 (01:00:10):
No, I'm betting the twelve. We we betting. I know
