Food and then then lead then not to have your

Speaker 1 (01:10):
So uh, I probably long from.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
There and these the world was much serious and uh
the funny thing is about that if you you you
see that they're ranking your kids.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Getting them to see deserves no fall see you let
you up, roll over to go elsewhere.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
Let you see like like you you get rig stuff
image your mom is straight up?

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Your kids too about so you you you you have
to deal with here to go through that. So you
so you're straight. But the second part of that question
was basically not destrict like the back from naw points
and discord. How I guess you get regular emotions you
experience the people h I'm always positive bad. I would
see I would get upset.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
When my body don't allow me to do the things
that i'm I wanna do. Is she could the test
that I mean, you gotta understand I'm a I'm about wanna.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Sell him a Let's go back, Let's hit this walk,
Let's get this walk. And I got two bags little
blood and learned with me walking like like I'm.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
Like, let's go cause you know why doctor told me
I got a walk right yep, And I walked.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
I walked with one point three right at least with
one thirt or something.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Yeah, so until the time that I couldn't, So I've
never looked down.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
I'm I'm always looking up there and I'm.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Always trying to go get it cause I'm wanna be
the best crime like the Vita, but everybody but everybody.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
And then my second part of this at this certa
sorry about the relations football and every grade coaching staffs.
How much how less you rely on man and how
much you rely on them this season maybe the baby
that help out at earlier on them on back. Baby,
I'm like, I don't really, I don't remember. I'm from
be with them, you know, I remember, but a round
in that stand when they come. Okay, so we gonna
come a point or nothing, and uh a lot of them.

(02:56):
We have a wonderful staff cause thank God that that
they're good or nothing. I don't have to babysit. I
don't have to believe they have did it too. And
I know they got that. Ye ain't like I told
him anything.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
I think they found out yesterday like the team found
out they didn't know and not first.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Of all the contemplators, thank God for our teams saying
I'm our team that didn't disclose this to anyone.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
We did a good job and did you have a
couple of leagues, you know, but we were pretty good
that we didn'tsclose this neighborhood.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
You gotta definitely the talk. So I'm I'm thankful for
that as well. What's there certain think?

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Uh? Maybe Logan was like every time we go to
ug Through, I hate going to the our globe every
time we go.

Speaker 1 (03:36):
You're a two messing forces that they were, so m
I have you all go to serial club and I'm
gone and you could definite do everybody on.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
They switch right right right and Scots first property or
you spoke about this at the beginning of the presser.
But what kind of support you felt from the guys
on your team but at the football team at medical Uh.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Football team don't know, didn't know, so laard a few
few people put up at the team. It's I know,
like you said, well, she is a gift of God,
she really is.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
You have no idea of starting pressI she may make
sure most comfortable, she doesn't give up the patients as well,
but she is a tremendous lesson her man in her family.
So I I'm truly thankful that.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
You can tell when you have a a a doctor
that care and they're invested in it. You know, they
invested in and making sure you okay to the details
and all the persons that I was connected to, realist
and whatever it gets brought. I don't know still in
twenty four something sports cause he's so much and well, Laura,

(04:43):
I actually wanna ask you a question. Uh you better
coach Brian uh through these footish us as well? Uh,
what'sn't been like just to be by his side and
see the resiliency? Is they sign over the years pretty maazing?

Speaker 4 (04:56):
You never full the not one signs.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Even when he was made a decision on a treatment
route to go on, it was everything was.

Speaker 5 (05:03):
For you mean, no question, it was for his sons
different of all mere Uh, he knew his two.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Things of life over to you, Adela was a sorry, Yeah,
I think all kids and oh bid of 'em. But
he's never folded in normal way. It's not one time
everything is.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
I mean, you couldn't ask for some type of bettervation
cause he wanted the adult and get going right away.
So it's an also it's been Also it's kind of
a hectic, dirty it's been a.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Lot, but.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
So there's a blessing that the disguised in all of us.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
So because I's so glad to do him well, it's
doing both. It's going on. Doctor was kind of sharing
the the details there when you were kind of resented
with a big decision and you found out of about
the cancer. You kind of just take us into that
and and why did you way down and pacyn.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Well, Doug he explained the w when the whole windows
the different decisions.

Speaker 5 (05:59):
Yeah, so the type of cancer if he had, has
a very high recurrence rate and uh, their turn be
progression as well. So the options to do tovie cancer
is treated within the latter which be a long series
of treatments three years. Coming down to my office, it
was it was in the ladder, would still up afte
percent chance of recurrence. And so that was when we talked.

(06:23):
His values did not align with that. His values aligned
with being there her family and with the teams.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Yeah, you wanted to George with the curative option, which
was the latter removal coach united the scarit of me
m the original prive of rosy. When did you realize
you were gonna be able to coaching him, And is
that the plan of coaches? I always allow I was
gonna go to you and never didn't realize that was
gonna go to you. That was always gonna coach.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
It was never in my spirit in my heart that
God will allow you to coach you can.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
That's never thought like that.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
You know.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
It's just that I didn't wanna be running down to
the hospital once a week. When I got all this
on my plate, I don't want that that.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
I was like, okay, can he bring up the shoes
and putting that office if you got serious like you
hat like that serious like.

Speaker 1 (07:16):
A lot of times, a lot of you know what
I'm saying. And doct was looking at me like he
is crazy, you know, That's all he asked. He is crazy,
seas he like just wanna coaches. But we worked it up.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
We worked up, like I guess running out over there.
You can have two question before him. First off, I
mean this from Wasson seems like the quite an emotional
dreview between doctor becoming grandfather and your son still the
other adult all this, what does the saucae have been?

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Like you just that emotional it's been wonderful. Is you
re a blessing.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
A lot of blessings comes with the luggage of tribulation
to trials. But if you held with the trials, you
would enjoy or the journey. See, most people are result type.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Or random people like they just want the money, they
want to go when they want to treat. I love
the process. I love the dreamy attracting to know, dedicate
me to it. I I love it. I I eat
and see trinking. I love the journey.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
So I just said, the journey that I've been on
each year has been your business in the real only
in the beginning of it, and we'd already got one win.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
It's that job.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
Something happened so long was that I visited my fall
up cause yesterday you got the TV.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
You enjoyed that journey as well. Yeah, it was it
for you to get back from your TV watfe and
work where like people. Oh God, wonderful. I mean I'm
sitt up there seeing the faces. I'm seeing the.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
Body types of Swayze has done in printing this year,
done wonderful jobs.

Speaker 1 (08:51):
On the berry.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
I know what I ain't recognized like a large group
I've been point make them call and eat the texted me.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
They've been seeing it contact, but it's another thing to
see them and just to see their basis.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
When I'm up the speaking to 'em just as a
as what's this morning? Cause they gonna want and to
do academically and uh who.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Utterly this morning than they do. But it was wonderful
just to be back see the new field. New turf
is unbelieva thing. You were rigged on the end of
the new turf. You guys don't.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Understand, Like I don't know if any of you have
yards like at your cribs, but it's something about I
don't know if it's the.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Mist of deal.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
It gets a little slippery in the afternoons early morning.
That's what the field does. So we have a wonderful
wayd They wanted to wanted to eliminate that so that
we could.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
Make sure we get every.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
Possibility of getting to the playoffs and having a suitable field.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
So that was behind the dark process.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Take you over, they go shut and then see in
and see on that maybe more for your doctor drug
because you.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Do what is the what is the process? Super bladder?

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Right? It's from Google, Like where did you go through
during that whole process which you don't have your life
taking out and the prop said put the doctor's first.

Speaker 5 (10:10):
Yeah, so thanks for the question and s at the
University of Pardo or I need to help.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
We to do the procedure robotically.

Speaker 5 (10:18):
So there is a lot of profice for for you where.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
We have talked to rob optiation and then we.

Speaker 5 (10:23):
Do all the the new bring of the robot uh
and then once the blotter comes out, we also see
some lymphos to make sure it has a supriad incident
and then we make uh a new blatter for people.
We use their op intestine so they don't have to
take the UN's impression.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
But it is a new real life that it is
a al learning curve for sure.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
And you got to say a lot that is going
on you you go, we got can e TRT moves
to like everything inside I think we we you know,
we ll give to this stuff. You you can't received anything.
But it was it was uh that it it was tough.

Speaker 1 (10:58):
It wasn't a cake walking, It wasn't easy. You using
the bathroom thereafter was.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
The challenge that they would let me leave until I
used the bathrooms or I thank god.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
We got that through. Yeah, that was that was a fight.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
That's fun.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
It was fun. But we made we made Doug. Yeah,
we're really good.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
Way.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Uh if I'm there vers go on sports.

Speaker 2 (11:26):
Then there's not a lot of support from your antias
throughout this time, and you have the questions do you
have a message to them.

Speaker 1 (11:31):
And the people who you know outside your extended family?

Speaker 2 (11:33):
Would this sporting your Uh love 'em. I appreciate 'em
our door. I don't take 'em regret. Uh, i'm'a just
roll around the names for religious fille fill okay, traps
harder made no my herdy rhythm according to a hard basket,
uh beast to Dewey Sean Jackson fansa weave riche or
shit he brove me for Tella's.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
What they call it. Rev Uh Reginald get on wheezy
little twists.

Speaker 2 (11:59):
Cause since saying okay, uh Kka and my black man Jones,
MC George sap and uh George uh be out in general,
they all came to visit, you know, Jennifer there every day.
You have no idea what that did for me, just
to get visit. First of all, I didn't wanna see it, like,

(12:19):
oh in eighty pounds, so what at that time, I don't.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
See him body. I I didn't wanna see nobody's seeing.

Speaker 2 (12:24):
Me down and I'm barely moved around the house, you know,
off of my Fridgy sample.

Speaker 7 (12:29):
In the gas good and it was just it wasn't
a good looking you know. And I and I'd like
to be strong if I would like to be me.
Uh but I'm thankful if that they came to get
me love and support and.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
To pray for him with DC other play called me
just wanna pray for me, like called it Dory out
in DC. I love you boy, and I appreciate you
every day something Randy Moss, I got a Gray Clouds teaching.
Randy Moss called me every other day to make sure
up a straight Randy more most pray for me. He

(13:02):
and his wife told me what I need to be
doing when he's gonna roots and some some that's very similar.
But Randy Moss man, I love him to like love
him more than ever. Uh pray to eat us gonna
come to the game this year, and uh.

Speaker 1 (13:20):
I prayed there.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
But he gave me so much strength and so much
guidance and uh so much love, respect and appreciation. Thanks Randy, and.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
I really didn't really appreciate you or really but there's
so many people reach out you know, to me, n
me and that's being uh try a gag.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
I think he changed numbers of the cut coup that
everything more number changed as well, so go polgize and
it doesn't need to add to get back to but
this is gonna be another number changes.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
To pa you know. Yes, so this is a scary diagnosis.
I understand if it doesn't. Did you don't get early
detection like you feel that it can get as dangerous
as some of the most definitely cancers. Yes, when we
talk about it.

Speaker 8 (14:01):
You maybe a little bit about that initial FIA.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Well it actually thin you might do.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
Is you got me all to do with Google and
that's the wrong thing. Good, Yes, you don't. You don't
die all I mean like SAI when they can't ring
gonna say that when you.

Speaker 2 (14:16):
Google it and you don't wanna see that, man, So
whoever do in Google, you ain't change it up.

Speaker 7 (14:22):
That that ain't the thing to look you going through
without like you got about that other days man like that.

Speaker 2 (14:27):
That's the way it seems like it's talking to you
and you don't want that. And you you know, you
gotta r dis when you got around on your faith.
You gotta around your faith and at least one of
them peoples that it's true and adoption is straight.

Speaker 1 (14:40):
Yeah, you when you start trying, they head to decide
y's it's getting ready to come. You know it's real.
But she never falsified anything.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
She told me what was one hundred and uh, never
said well you should do this, if you should do that.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
If she just explain everything too LEAs to that make
the the decision that I felt like got They can
to can be in a family, great question. A couple
more jobs type too? Can the doctors dress about as well?
Or how how scary this cancer?

Speaker 5 (15:08):
Yeah? So the bad side of this cancer is, you know,
if it does progress to the muscle, the rate of
gmtastasis is about fifty percent. Only about ten percent of
people live five years even with our current.

Speaker 1 (15:21):
Level treatment if they've been tastasized.

Speaker 5 (15:24):
So, you know, very lovely to have founded at this
stage where it's still I could say the word cure,
cause they don't. I don't use that word lately as
a cancer doctor. And I think, you know, there's a
lot of patients where.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
We don't have that's any conversation.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
So thank you.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
Go with the check up, and I fac then on
going to get to check ups.

Speaker 2 (15:45):
So I'm telling you all again please not just should
people like to watch you, but you people in there
get check ups, leads will get checkers.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
Do you wanna share the timeline on the check up
versus the surgery or uh not? How quickly? How much
time did you have to make that decision? Yeah?

Speaker 6 (16:01):
We were in springball any time, so he had the
did a genie beginning of springball or the springball by
beginning of maybe you.

Speaker 1 (16:11):
Were already the ser it was already the surgery was
already young. So it was very It was like to
then a month, that's a month? Yeah, surely? Uh what's
your rs fen where you remb a doctor or possible?
Just like won't give again?

Speaker 4 (16:26):
A million simple people look my dad hatter and they
often speak of the.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
Frustration of just dealing with the day day, going to
the strato, with other activities in effort.

Speaker 1 (16:37):
Right now, did you have that frustration and anger at
any point during any initial No, I'm I'm i'm uh,
I think of a thing because of love, I got help.
But early on, no, now, early on I didn't.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Then think you attracted them all day or it was
we some drugs over Amazon there.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
It was in case of Pete and now they didn't
do the job. Did do the jobs and now my house,
you's gotta go with Champs and she's every day. But
ever it's tough. But I was warned about the trials
and what I'm gonna have to go through. And it's
the old lifestyle that's free, how doctor explained to me.

(17:16):
It's a own new lifestyle and it already I already
have a new lifestyle. I got eight toes man, like
I'm talking to you with eight toes like then, and
the half of my labor to cut out like sharp bites.
So I'm already I'm built for this. I I I'm
built for this. I'm reaching general standing right now. You
just went through the trial with your relation and he's
to have it up down looking as good as me.

Speaker 2 (17:36):
He was at him, So I I I pray for him,
and I'm I I love him the life and he's uh,
he's a champion to all of us.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
So he smoked back and then he's back of my
horse literally.

Speaker 2 (17:46):
And he's doing his name.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
But you kind of touched on it. But what what
was it like staring death in the face and and
dealing the history out there in my face? That's started
the light that's started light the two days man, I said,
got an yet back up. I had to tell you
how God got it. I really had uh a lot
of those tho these dropped the tripulations so that I

(18:09):
could touch and reach it and it it bless people
with the words, but with the energy, with with with
that thing that that God gave me. So I never
thought of I know the depth.

Speaker 2 (18:19):
You know.

Speaker 1 (18:19):
I had make a wheel because I'm gonna get a business.
I'm gonna be a good story, you know, for my
kids and for my family. But now I got too
much light to be thinking about that two.

Speaker 2 (18:30):
Much, y, I got too much neggave and I got
worked to do head one of their championship.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
You talking about that, No God a death make it ready?
Take me for that.

Speaker 4 (18:40):
A couple more Mark than yeah, uh Mark, kiss little Denverer,
cause I uh, you just touched on that time and
you recur very clearly that there was no.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
Doubt in your mind you were going to coach again, right,
But when you're taking your walk port.

Speaker 1 (18:52):
For the two bags or fishing was the two bags?
How did it reaffirm or how did you reflect on
wear football coaching fish in your life? And h and
why do you wanna do this football?

Speaker 4 (19:05):
The decision I made in the surgery at the shows
was based on not just family.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
It was based on football, based on I had wanna
be going weekly to the hospital or why you know
I had practices? So football is in there. Uh, my
faith is number one? You know football? Sup? We're done black,
you know, behind family and all of that, cause my
faith its definite number one. So I got a second.

(19:31):
Guests that end definitely had at too good to be
stressing because you you gonna talked enough to them? Or
were you gonna go sit we we go get botzoppics
And it's retention on it. What what you certainly doing
here today?

Speaker 4 (19:47):
What were you or how were you communicating with your
team during this time when when there was much information
out there?

Speaker 1 (19:53):
But what are you saying? Tom nows? I wasn't really
communicating with my team much because it was based out
a good book. Cause you know, even with my kids
think I'm they gonna take the fast time should go
up one bad and like look all with you like,
you know, but I didn't do with my team.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
And I talked to 'em and uh, but sometimes I'm talking,
my voice was really raspy, and I never.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
Really you could tell of a second.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
But just the message of whole I've always do it.
It's the message of I'm gonna make it, I'm gonna
get through this. But this is just stay focused on
what you got because I'm gonna be alright. That's pretty
much my message.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
And h I wouldn't keep it. Judge with the different
coaches and chilenge them to go to the next level
in my absence. They didn't know what was going on.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
They just knew it had to least something if I'm
not here because they know I love to sleep.

Speaker 1 (20:42):
Here and and I just go to m right.

Speaker 2 (20:45):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (20:45):
Coach Brian Kelly Worth like gonna see as Colorado.

Speaker 2 (20:48):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Question perhaps for most of you, like a doctor, you
say that this is also your that's so for the
message to get yourself checked no matter who you are,
where you are. But I wonder if there seems a
person should people getting out for too you know, so
that they might be at risk or perhaps for the
condition that you work coach.

Speaker 5 (21:06):
Uh, Yeah, so, but I I am.

Speaker 1 (21:08):
Also grateful to be here to talk about.

Speaker 5 (21:10):
Blacker cancers, so black of cancers, so fortunate as coming cancer.

Speaker 1 (21:13):
And then there are group of science are usually.

Speaker 5 (21:15):
The blood of the hearine, blood of the hearine and
in ascess of affection is never normal and should always
get checked out, like the people shouldn't see their p
mar care doctors, as coach mentioned to initiate that. But
I think, you know, just really making sure that you're
going to your prim macro doctor says stained well, eating

(21:35):
well and smoke. Coaches never spoke prients, what are the
people that just unfortunately got bladder cancer? But that's also
