College Hockey Scoreboard Show

A quick and dirty weekly recap of the scores, and pretty much JUST THE SCORES of the week's action in Division I Men's and Women's College Hockey around the state of Minnesota.

MN College Hockey Scoreboard Show For Games from November 25-30 2025
We didn’t have a super full plate of games across the Division I slate, but we had a pretty decent Thanksgiving week of games overall in the State of Hockey, complete with postponements and snowy travel. It’s time for another edition of Minnesota’s College Hockey Scoreboard Show where as always, it’s not about the analysis, it’s not about the breakdowns, it’s JUST...

We’ve got more splits than a bad bowling alley. After a weekend that saw me in Oklahoma, thus, unable to do an adequately mid-job at doing a show, we’re back out of the box and back for another episode of Minnesota’s College Hockey Scoreboard Show. Here’s a tip I learned from our man State of Hoppy - take that Lucky Seven 7th Avenue Pizza, 14 minutes, then finish with a minute or two on broil and BOOM. Scorched roof of your mouth g...

Sports are hard. Trying to maintain your place in college hockey’s upper echelon is also hard. When you think about it, there’s 16 teams that get to make the tournament. There’s six conferences, so that’s five spots you aren’t going to get right off the top. That means you have to be one of the best 11 teams in the country each and every year for your fanbase not to complain that the sky is falling. But that’s sports. Rationality g...

College hockey’s been nuts this year and we’ve got ebbs and flows, peaks and valleys. It’s enough to make you pull your hair out - or if you don’t have any, grow in gray. Conference action is here. You already hate the NPI even though it’s not even worth looking at until January at the earliest. Did you learn NOTHING from years of not understanding Pairwise? It’s like you’re Lowell Sun. Anyway, it’s time for  Minnesota’s College Ho...

It was a wild opening to the new Lee and Penny Anderson Arena on the campus of St. Thomas this weekend, UMD is starting off the men’s season on a heater, while the other Minnesota State, Bemidji State and St. Cloud State all picked up sweeps. The powers in women’s hockey are still that. It’s another week of college hockey action on the ice in the State of Hockey, so it’s time for Minnesota’s College Hockey Scoreboard Show, where th...

Splits and ties dominated the scoreboard over the weekend. We had some old WCHA rivalries rekindled, some in-state scraps and some bizarre flips from one game to the next. But that’s all normal in the world of men’s and women’s Division I college hockey - or so I’ve learned. It’s time for Minnesota’s College Hockey Scoreboard Show.
We’ll begin on the men’s side …

Some stellar upsets around college hockey over the weekend, but nothing apocalyptic in the Land of 10,000 Skates. You like that? Yeah, I like that too.
Here’s the rundown of action from October 9–12, 2025, on this week’s edition of Minnesota’s College Hockey Scoreboard Show.

And for the 54th straight St. Cloud State men’s game, local sponsor Jupiter Moon still hasn’t brought me a scoop. At least my kids love it. I mean, I had some ...

It’s the opening weekend of Division I men’s college hockey and the action around the State of Hockey did not disappoint. The outcomes, however, might have been disappointing depending on who you’re a fan of. Here’s the rundown of action from October 3-4, 2025 on this week’s edition of Minnesota’s College Hockey Scoreboard Show - and there will no overstating the impact of Gavin McKenna’s first weekend of college hockey here.

Something old, something new, something borrowed and something brewed. That’s right folks, we’re now on board with The Sota Pod, so in addition to shows like Fellowship of the Rink, Judd’z Budz and MNCAA, you’ve got my mild-mannered mid-hockey mind bringing you the quick and dirty from the week in Minnesota college hockey with Minnesota’s College Hockey Scoreboard Show. Just like last time, it’s got nothing of what you don’t need. ...

The puck has dropped on the college hockey season and it’s a pretty solid start for Minnesota schools. This is Minnesota’s College Hockey Scoreboard show, and just like the old version, this 2.0 version is more of the same - no breakdowns, no analysis, it’s JUST. THE. SCORES.

The state’s national collegiate women’s hockey teams went a combined 8-0 on the opening weekend of women’s college hockey.

The show must go on, at least, in a different variant. Here's a quick update of what changes are coming to the show for this coming college hockey season. The focus is on the State of Hockey, where I live and breathe.

The Sota Pod is dedicated to covering anything & EVERYTHING when it comes to hockey or craft beer in the great state of Minnesota.

It’s the #CollegeHockeyScoreboard Show for March 7, 2025. Still a bot, but you know what, I think you might like this voice better. Our host Jason Bryant was announcing all day in Wichita - he had some victory drinks while he was at it. So there’s no breakdowns, no analysis, and tonight, no humans. Just the scores.
We begin with the women:
The ECAC women’s semifinals saw #3 Cornell outlast #9 Clarkson in a thrilling 2-1 victory th...

It’s the #CollegeHockeyScoreboard Show for March 6, 2025. This one’s still on the road in Little Rock, but I’m going to cheat tonight. You’re not hearing my voice. I tagged a bot in for this one. But even with a bot, it’s still just the scores.

Northeastern secured a 2-1 victory over Merrimack at Lawler Rink.  Cam Lund opened the scoring with a power-play goal in the first period, marking his fifth goal in as many games. The Huskie...

Greetings from Wichita, home of the ECHL’s Wichita Thunder. It’s the #CollegeHockey Scoreboard Show for March 5, 2025. Postseason hockey is the best hockey, right? Maybe a bit more than the scores as we’re whittling down the teams in the 2024-25 season, but here’s the scores.

The stage is set for the Hockey East Championship after two thrilling semifinal matchups. Fifth-seeded Northeastern pulled off a comeback win over top-seeded ...

It’s the #CollegeHockey Scoreboard Show for March 1-2, 2025. No excuses. I’m just a busy guy this time of year. Oh by the way, that whole four-overtime thriller in Division III women’s action was at Augsburg, where I spent Friday and Saturday announcing a regional wrestling championship. Anyway. I’ve got wrestling content in my main life. This is hockey life, where there’s No breakdowns. No Analysis. It’s JUST. THE. SCORES.

It’s the #CollegeHockey Scoreboard Show for February 28, 2025. Shortest month of the year with a ton of games regardless. The women have conference tournaments all over the place, while the men are in the home stretch. There’s No breakdowns. No Analysis. It’s JUST. THE. SCORES.

Let’s start with the women, going that whole alphabetical thing by conference tournament.

It’s the #CollegeHockey Scoreboard Show for February 27, 2025. I was in a hockey rink today, only it was covered in wrestling mats. XCel Energy Center in St. Paul is a great place to watch any type of hockey. It’s also a great place for the Minnesota state wrestling championships - even if the HS league itself can’t be bothered by blogs, podcasts or anything that isn’t legacy media. Anyway. Two games on Thursday. No breakdowns. No ...

    Betrayal Season 5

Saskia Inwood woke up one morning, knowing her life would never be the same. The night before, she learned the unimaginable – that the husband she knew in the light of day was a different person after dark. This season unpacks Saskia’s discovery of her husband’s secret life and her fight to bring him to justice. Along the way, we expose a crime that is just coming to light. This is also a story about the myth of the “perfect victim:” who gets believed, who gets doubted, and why. We follow Saskia as she works to reclaim her body, her voice, and her life.
