The Columbia Workshop, NIA says anew type of experimentation was this the

first part of its grammatization of LewisCarroll's classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The
music, which has been specially writtenfor the broadcast by Leif Stephens and Paul
Saris, will function not only asradio music usually does in setting scenes and

fairy story. People with human beings, animals that talk like men? Do
they murror men who act like animals? I do not know. I merely

wrote a simple story about a littlegirl for a little girl. Half the
world has for seventy two years calleda childish nonsense. The other half significant
social sapphire. To me, ithas always been simple Alice's adventures in Wonderland.
