Speaker 1 (00:07):
Welcome, it is time Constitution Radio. Douglas V. Gibbs, you're
a kmy T fourteen ninety am. I was really close,
for those of you watching on km T TV, I
was really close to wearing some Navy gear Army Avy
game to day, go Navy beat Army. But I've just
you know, I got a nice green button down shirt.

(00:28):
Act least try to wear a collar, at least try
to look like I'm going golfing or something for my shows.
And I want to well, you know, I don't want
to sit here in my pajamas like some people fly
on planes. Oh was there something said about that not
long ago, but anyway, that all said, welcome to the program.
Glad you're here. Alan Myers, my co host who had

(00:49):
the hip surgery a few weeks ago, a couple of
weeks ago. He's still out this episode. He should be
back next week. Dennis Jackson, I'm not sure, and so
we'll him but that's okay. So, and I was watching
the Army Navy game. So for those of you who
are like, oh man Dougson, what do I do pose
ave game record it? Or do both watch a game

(01:11):
and listen to Constitution Radio? But I'm glad you're here.
And you know, the Army Navy game. I have a
friend of mine who went to West Point and used
to be We talked about once to get to each
other about once a year, and it was Army Navy
game and we're giving each other a hard time or whatever.
But he's in Tampa now and I haven't talked to

(01:31):
him a few years. I plan to get ahold of
him because I plan to be out his way in April.
But as a Navy veteran, I mean, I always watch
the Army Navy game. I'm a huge football fan anyway,
but the game, the Army Navy game, this is not
just a college game. This is not just an ordinary
football game, I mean to me, and I don't know

(01:54):
if you watch the storylines and the focuses on different
players before the game comes on, and I mean, and
then before the game came on, originally directly, they did
this thing about, you know, the importance of service military
guys in the brotherhood and being there for your fellow whatever,
and and it was done so well. I mean, I

(02:17):
was in tears. My wife and I were both just
you know, in tears watching the introduction of the game.
So if you recorded it or you've got a chance
to watch it, you know, definitely. But and I recognize
that I watched these stories and I watch who these
guys are. I know who I served with. This is
more than a game, this game, this Army Navy game.

(02:39):
President Trump is there, you know, Pete Headseth, the Secretary
of War, the the the both of the four star
admirals that run the Department of the Navy and Department
of the Army were there and they interviewed and all
this this is this is more than just some military
game or some football game. The Army Navy game is

(03:01):
an observance of the importance of our armed forces, a
shining example on the football field of the brotherhood of
Liberty's defenders. Now as Army and Navy took the field today,
and I watched that not and I'll finished watching. I'm
still in the very beginning of the first quarter. But

(03:22):
when you watch this game, if you watch this game,
what you're watching is a living symbol of the strength, sacrifice,
and brotherhood that really undergirds our republic. And notice I
didn't say democracy. I didn't say nation. We don't have
a national government. We're not democracy. We're constitutional republic, and
there and what all the things we have at the

(03:45):
very foundation of it. Aside from the Godley foundation, there
is the strength of this country and the strength of
the military to pay for that liberty. You don't have
liberty if you can't defend it. And from an American perspective,
the importance of our military cannot be overstated. They are

(04:08):
the guardians of the liberty with which our creator has
to doubt us, and the defenders of the constitutional order
that secures those blessings for generations. Yet unborn, our founding
fathers understood that liberty is not self sustaining liberty. It's

(04:31):
like the second law of thermodynamics. When you leave something alone,
it disintegrates, it unorganizes, it becomes disorderly. To keep something
that is in order in order, it requires maintenance. It
requires action, It requires defending it. It requires take doing

(04:55):
what needs to be done. It's not self sustaining. Our liberty,
our economy, our free market values, our Christian values must
be defended against tyranny abroad and preserved against corruption at home.
The Constitution grants Congress the power to raise and support

(05:16):
armies and maintain a Navy not as instruments of conquest.
We've never been a nation that conquers per se. I
know there's accusations of it. Mexican American War was not
a war of expansion, as a war of liberation. Spanish
American War was not a war of expansion. It was
a reaction, a Monroe doctrine, reaction to Europe still messing

(05:41):
around with American interests in the Western hemisphere. Every soldier, sailor, airman, guardian,
kasti and marine stands as a living testament to the
principle that liberty requires vigilance, courage, and sacrifice. The Army

(06:01):
Navy game is unique because both sides share a deeper allegiance,
not to victory on the scoreboard, but to the defense
of our constitutional republic. These young men who clash in
spirited rivalry today well tomorrow, stand shoulder to shoulder in
the same cause, protecting the Constitution and the people it serves.

(06:24):
Their brotherhood transcends uniforms and branches of the military, and
it's rooted and shared duty, shared sacrifice, shared love of country.
It's a brotherhood. When I get together with other veterans
and sometimes the different branches you know the Army and
the Navy and the Marine. So we and we rib
each other in the Air Force because we're brothers. We're

(06:45):
siblings who signed assigned a blank check payable up to
the cost of our lives to defend liberty for people
we met. And as patriots who understand that the foundation

(07:06):
of this great country is a godly one, we recognize
that true liberty is a gift from God, and we
give thanks for those who risk their lives to preserve it.
The Army Navy game reminds us to pray for our military,
to honor their service, and remember that their unity reflects
the higher unity we are called to in Christ. So

(07:29):
you watch the game, you know, and you got the stories,
and you got the cheering crowd, and the and the
the paratroopers come flying into the field, and the jets
go flying overhead, and the President of the United States
flips the coin, and people in the crowd are cheering,

(07:50):
and there's that rivalry going on. Beat Army, beat Navy,
Go Army, Go Navy, whatever, and all the pageantry and
these are all expressions of joy in a tradition that
celebrates a game that goes all the way back to
eighteen ninety. But it's not celebrating division, it's celebrating devotion.

(08:14):
When that final whistle blows, which I expect to be
the United States Navy players, the midshipman, the victors will
sing their alma mater second, the defeated team sings theirs first.
And this ritual embodies humility, respect, and fraternity values that

(08:36):
echo the very spirit of our republic. Because in the end,
the Army Navy game is not about who wins or loses.
I mean, don't get me wrong. Competition winning and losing.
That's a big deal to you know, people who pay
attention to this stuff. You know, the rivalry, the competition,
the being able to rightfully say that our team won

(09:00):
for the next three hundred and sixty five days until
next year's game, become the Commander in Chief trophy. I mean,
that's all important, don't get me wrong. But in the end,
deep down, that's not really what it's about. What's really
all about is reminding us that liberty is safeguarded by
men and women who are willing to stand together, bound

(09:23):
by duty, bound by faith, bound by love of country,
brought together by an incredible opportunity to serve their country,
and that brotherhood that they share, that brotherhood that they

(09:44):
participate in, that is our shield. Their sacrifice and those
who have sacrificed throughout history, that is our inheritance. That
is our liberty. It's more than a game. It's an

(10:06):
important symbol of what America is about and how the
military supports this liberty that we have. How important that
is to all of us, one and all. All right,

(10:27):
So welcome to the program. That's my opening monologue. Typically
I'm going until about one twenty or one thirty, then
I hit a break. It's too early for a break.
And typically I would then hand it off to Guinnis
and and Alan to see what their reaction is. And well,
they're not here, and my wife is listening to the
program off to my right. I don't know if I'm

(10:48):
gonna bring her to the microphone per se. Uh yeah, yeah,
I could tell she that's that's not happening. But uh
and so I'm going to offer if you have a reaction,
if you want to talk about it, I'm gonna make
an offer. Call in the phone line's open, our normal
number nine five one nine two two three five three two.

(11:10):
That's a that's available. Right, mister engineer. All right, so
nine fight well wait, let me do it like ye
all and demands because everything, like Doug, you say it
too fast. All right, we're gonna give out the number.
I would love to hear from you about navy and
army taking the field, about the brotherhood that defends liberty,

(11:31):
or about other things. And I'll go on to other
topics we should welcome to call in. I encourage call ins,
don't get them very often. I ask listeners that that
I'm familiar with, Well, why don't you ever call it? Well, Doug,
I don't interrupt what you're doing. You're you're you're in
such a good rancher, you're in such a good groove.
And I'm like, okay, but here's the number, just in case,

(11:52):
just in case you want to participate, and I encourage
you to two two three five three two ninety five
to one. That's the Riverside County area code. This station
is in Beaumont one nine two two three five three

(12:16):
two nine five one ninety two two three five three two.
Thank you ahead of time, in case I don't thank
you quickly enough later. But let's let's let's let's talk
about something else is the news because this is a
big deal. And you know I'm for those of you
listen to the program regularly. You know me, and you

(12:39):
know you know two things about me. Hey, I'm a
staunch constitution cons socialist. I am a constitutionalist before I
am a Republican, before I am a conservative. The US
Constitution is a big deal to me. I am willing
to break the eleventh Commandment and go after Republicans if

(13:01):
they're operating in a manner it's against constitution. I am
willing to point out if people are against constitution. I
called out George W. Bush for his globalist tendencies and
his daddy HW Bush. I defended Reagan quite a bit
because he was accused of violating constitutional and conservative principles.

(13:27):
The problem with him is he believed that the Democrats
might be willing to deal, might be willing to bargain,
and then they would burn him and then he'd get
left holding the bag, like with the amnesty thing with
the taxes, you've heard it right, or he raised taxes, well,
he was promised that they would reduce spending, so he
was giving to get you know, you give a little

(13:48):
to get a little, and then they took, and then
they stopped on anything that they were going to give
to him. President Donald J. Trump, I'm a big fan.
He's the most constitutional president we've had since Calvin Coolidge,
maybe since John Tyler. That does not mean the man's perfect.

(14:12):
And he says things in acts and ways. Sometimes it
gets under people's skin. I get it. He he knows
how to play the game. He knows how to get
everybody's peacock feathers all in a ruffle, especially the Peacock
Channel NBC. But he understands things though that more deeply
than I think most Americans do. Sometimes we react to

(14:34):
what we see. We don't realize there's more underneath than
what we see. And I've been talking and and it
amazes me how easily allies fall for the lies of
the left put out. To give you an example, a
few weeks ago, the left had put out that that

(14:55):
President Trump had a deal for the U Rain Russian thing.
And they put out the the uh list of things
that Trump was looking for, and We're like, what the
that's like the wish list for the Russians. It's almost
like Putin wrote it. See and then the Democrats to see,
he really does love Putin, He's in the Russian pocket.

(15:18):
No what the left had done, because Trump to this
day yet has not put out all the provisions of
what he expects with the Ukraine Russian deal. What it
was is it was Russia's Putin's wish list, and then
the left put it out as lying, saying that was
Trump's ideas for the for the peace plan, and a

(15:41):
lot of people fell for it. I go to a
breakfast with some veterans here locally every Friday morning, and
a couple of Fridays ago, well, Air Force veteran Uh
says exactly this to be. Hey, man, I love Trump,
but he's really got me mad over this. It's like
he wants to give Putin everything he wants. I hadn't
seen it because I don't I don't spend a whole

(16:03):
lot of time in the corners where these types of
lies are put out there, and so I don't necessarily
see them, and so I didn't know how to respond.
So well, I hadn't seen anything come out from drug.
He said, Judge, out there news is reporting it, and
it's like he's in Putin's pocket. I can't believe what
Trump wants to do. I didn't know how to respond

(16:24):
to the guy because I didn't know what he was
talking about. So I go home and I start researching,
and I discover that it was all a force. It
was Putin's wish list painted with a headline what Trump
wants by the left, and he fell for it. So

(16:45):
we have to be careful. And then the other thing
he said in that conversation, we have to be careful
because we jumped to it. And then the other thing
he said and ed was he wants to invade Venezuela.
And I'm just that I'm tired of forever wars. I
thought he was a peace president. So well, he's not
planning on invading Nezuela. He's handling it in a very
incremental manner. But it's got to be addressed. We got

(17:07):
to stop the drug flow. We've got to stop communism
from spreading in the Western hemisphere. It's bad enough that globalists,
that the globalists, the global communists, have pretty much invaded
every country, and China's got his hands in everything. But
he didn't quite buy what I said so much it's

(17:30):
not acceptable. And now he's gonna invade Venezuela. Just you
watch and uh, and I'm a firm believer that we
should have strong military, strong defense. At the same time,
I'm a firm believer that we shouldn't be the policeman
of the world getting involved in every little thing that's

(17:51):
going on in the world. I mean President George Washington,
and he warned us in his seventeen ninety six farewell
address about the danger of foreign entanglements. He believed it
was not in the best interest of America to engage
in anything internationally that doesn't directly influence our interests, especially

(18:12):
at that time because we were a fledgling country. We're
a third world country at the time. He definitely didn't
want us engaging in permanent alliances with foreign powers, since
those commitments could drag America too costly. Wars these you know,
and compromise and you know, our independence, these wars, that's
often what it is, these wars that go on where

(18:33):
a country gets attacked by one or has so, well,
we have a treaty with you, so you're gonna help us.
You're on my side, and that's in the United States.
Washington and the United States is not gonna get into
those treaties. We're not gonna play that game. He urged
Americans then and future Americans to remain free to make

(18:54):
decisions based on its own interests, rather than bound by
the rivalries of Europe. The United States position at the
time was fragile anyway, not only because it was still
a developing country, but because we were surrounded by the
holdings of powerful European empires. Washington believed that any permanent

(19:19):
alliance or other entanglements could drag America into conflicts not
of her own making. In short, he desired that we
avoid treaties with foreign nations because they could force America
into wars that did not serve our interests. By steering
clear of European rivalries, the US could remain politically and

(19:41):
economically independent. Isn't at the point of the decoration of independence. Now.
That's not to say that he opposed foreign relations temporary alliances,
especially during times of emergency. That's acceptable. It was the
longer term commitments that he believed limited of action, and

(20:01):
the key component, though in all of Washington's thinking, was
America's interests. What is serves America first? America first. Boy,
that sounds familiar. President Trump sounds an awful lot like
George Washington, doesn't he Now, the United States lacked a

(20:24):
strong military at the time, so foreign wars would have
been disastrous. Anyway, Washington believed that the best way to
preserve the unity of the States, of the stability of
the Union, the country needed to focus on domestic growth.
This is not to say that Washington believed in a
weak military or that we should never engage in global

(20:46):
power struggles if necessary, because he also said it to
be prepared for war is one of the most effectual
means of preserving the peace. In other words, peace through strength.
He's the first peace through strain guy. So no, Reagan
didn't invent that. Trump didn't invent that. That was President Washington,

(21:07):
George Washington, the first president, and President Washington's peace through
Strength line. It was delivered during his very first Annual address.
Oh was early on his very first annual address to
Congress January eighth, seventeen ninety. Remember the government went under
the constitution went into effect in March of seventeen eighty nine,

(21:30):
so ten months later he's giving this peace through Strength
line in his delivery of his first annual address. But
now we call the of the Union address. And while
he believed we should avoid foreign intenments. He also urged
the need for a strong defense policy. Having fought in
the Revolutionary War, been the general, the commander in chief,

(21:52):
and the revolutionary he understood the dangers of relying on
a week part time militia. America needed to be strong
and able to protect its people and put America first. Now,
Washington was not advocating for constant warfare, but rather for
readiness as a safeguard, because military preparedness discourages conflict, because

(22:16):
adversaries respect strength and George Washington's Council shaped US foreign
policy for over a century. When France and Britain went
to war against each other, President John Adams followed Washington's
advice and not only refused to get involved, but even
disallowed any statements from US government, Thomas Jefferson being one

(22:37):
of them that may be construed as giving favor to
one nation over the other. During the conflict, Vice President
Toms Jefferson called for the US to take sides, and
Adams refused to do so. When Jefferson became elected president, though,
he kept America out of the wars in Europe as well,
only engaging in a conflict with the Islamic Caliphate on
the Barbary coast who see going best were raiding American

(23:01):
ships on American trade routes and taking American sailors hostage
to serve as slaves. James Madison the fourth President of
the United States after the War of eighteen twelve, a
war that he just could not avoid, though he tried
thought to bring America back to his normal path of
remaining focus on domestic concerns, make America great again. America

(23:25):
first sounds familiar, and during his presidency, issues of trade restrictions,
maritime rights, and defending u A sovereignty dominated his attention.
He used tariffs quite a bit to help level the
playing field a little, and during that same time, Latin
America began entering into its own revolutionary era. The Latin

(23:47):
American independence movements began in earnest during the eighteen tens,
right in the middle of Madison's presidency, and these revolutions
were inspired by Enlightenment ideals, the same Enlightenment Enlightenment ideals
that launched the American Revolution, and they were inspired by
the American Revolution. They saw Americans independence at what was
happening in America, and they wanted it too, and Spain

(24:11):
was becoming weakened due to Napoleon's invasion of Europe. So
the timing was right. So while Madison, though he sympathized
with the independent independence movements, were cautious, was cautious. It
was James Monroe who tied US policy to New World
independence through the Monroe Doctrine, and the wave of revolutions

(24:32):
and declarations of independence surging through the New World by
eighteen twenty three had led to most of Spain's colonies
in Latin America to achieve independence, and watching what was
going on, President Monroe declared the Monroe Doctrine in a
speech on December second, eighteen twenty three. It was a
bold statement of American foreign policy, asserting that the Western

(24:54):
hemisphere was off limits to European colonization or interference. What
I really want to talk about here is the Monroe
Doctrine because we are seeing it in action today with
President Trump. Now, the Minroe Doctrine had three principles. The
America's Western hemisphere was no longer open to European colonization. Now,

(25:15):
how many times do you hear the left screaming about
the colonialism of America? No we were anti colonialists. We
fought a revolution against the colonialism pushers. And this idea
a Monroe doctor saying, hey, keep your colonies out of
the Western hemisphere. If that isn't anti colonialism, if that

(25:35):
isn't an anti colonialism position, now what is which mirrored
the anti colonialism actions of the American Revolution? So these
lefties out there are all the colonialism of America. You
idiots were the original anti colonialist country, you dummies. The

(25:56):
second principle of the Minroe doctrine was that any European
interference in the Western Hemisphere, you know, any of their colonialism,
would be considered a hostile to US interests. Hey man,
this is our neighborhood. We're gonna be our neighborhood watch,
and we don't appreciate you messing around in our neighborhood
here in the Western Hemisphere. In return third principle, the

(26:20):
US would not meddle in European affairs, and though the
US Navy was small in America lacked the military might
to enforce these claims, Monroe believed the doctrine was vital
as a political warning, and Britain, who now was kind
of getting along with US, now they finally decided we

(26:40):
couldn't be taken back as colonies. After the War of
eighteen twelve, they finally stopped grabbing our sailors and indenturing
them into British service, and Britain at that point also
opposed renewed colonization. They were kind of starting to build

(27:01):
this anti colonial list kind of attitude. And so they said, hey,
all right, all right, Monroe, we're with you. We will provide,
we will help you out here. We will provide. Says,
you don't have the means yet, even though you guys
are pretty pretty good on the field and with help.

(27:24):
We learned that during the War of eighteen twelve. But
you're not quite there yet. So tell you what. We
are going to give you an informal enforcement mechanism the
British Navy, and that gave Monroe's words a whole lot
of weight. So Monroe doctrine, initially symbolic, over time it

(27:44):
became a living policy tool. It was reshaped by presidents
to fit new circumstances in the nineteen In the eighteen forties,
James K. Polk invoked the Monroe doctrine to oppose European
interference in Texas, California, and Oregon, tying it to manifest destiny.
Theodore Roosevelt in nineteen oh four added the Roosevelt Corollary,

(28:06):
asserting the US the right to intervene in Latin America
to stabilize economies and prevent European involvement. This marked a
shift from defense defensive policy to active intervention, and Teddy
Roosevelt has seen as a champion of American history doing
what Trump is doing now somehow, now it's wrong. It

(28:27):
was right right then Woodrow Wilson. But by the way,
Teddy was a first progressive president. That's that point. Woojol
Wilson in the nineteen tens, big time democrat, but applied
the doctrine to justifying interventions in Mexico and the Caribbean,
emphasizing democracy and stability. Cold War presidents Truman, Kennedy and
Ronald Reagan recast the doctrine as a bolt work against

(28:50):
Soviet influence in the Western un hemisphere. Now we're not
worried about colonial colonialism from the Europeans. Now it's Soviet influences.
Now it's communism spreading. And Kennedy's handling of the Cuban
Missile crisis was a direct application of Monroe's principle, and

(29:11):
then in the post Cold War era, since the since
the Berlin Walls come down and the Soviet Union stopped
being the Soviet Union and became the Russia and Russian
whatever they call it now, the doctrine has become less
about Europe and less about the Soviet Union, more about globalism,
global powers, and China and Islam. So Reagan and later

(29:37):
presidents have used its spirit to communism and terrorism in
the in the Americas. Under now under President Donald Trump,
he has revived the Monroe doctrine that all of these
presidents have used in a manner similar to what he's doing.
But the Trump corollary to the Monroe doctrine since the
original message don't mess around in in our backyard, but

(30:01):
it adds, don't run evil operations with your global buddies
in our backyard, or will be knocking on your doorstep.
Trump's administration is currently emphasizing the truck corollary to the
Monroe doctrine in relation to Venezuela and Cuba, framing it
framing it as a rejection of outside influence, particularly from

(30:22):
Russia and China. In Latin America, and while the doctrine
is no longer a rigid policy, it remains a symbol
of US hemispheric leadership. This is our neighborhood, and we
are the strongest, biggest neighbor in our neighborhood. So we're
gonna We're gonna run the UH the Watch Party, And

(30:48):
as a symbol of US hemispheric leadership, it invokes. It invoked.
It has been invoked because foreign powers are challenging our
influence in the region to move. What Trump is doing
has some America's nervous. I talked about this earlier that

(31:09):
President Trump's gonna invade Venezuela. The he seeks regime change
in Venezuela. We know regime change doesn't work because of Iraq,
we tell ourselves. The leader of Venezuela, Nicholas Maduro, who
has served as president since twenty thirteen, succeeding communist dictator
Hugo Chavez, who took Venezuela from the greatest economic power
in South America to a disaster. Well, Madua is also

(31:35):
among those who believes that President Trump is considering invading
the South American country. And that's the point, that's the
way Trump operates, he doesn't have to do something to
make those nervous and willing to work with him because
they're afraid he will. It's like when your children are
young and you give them a spanking. You never have

(31:56):
to spank them again. Why because the threat of the
spanking is enough to keep them in line. When Trump
said We're gonna make Canada the fifty first state, he
really wasn't serious about that. He didn't plan to do that.
But excuse me, But what it did is it got
Canada nervous, and now they were willing to talk a
little more than usual. Greenland is talking to us. They

(32:19):
don't want us taking Greenland. He wasn't really going to.
It was to get them at the table, because the
best way to stave off what you don't want is
to give what what both sides want. So Trump is
basically faking out Venezuela and apparently all the lefties into

(32:44):
believing that he's going to invade Venezuela, that he seeks
regime change. No, it's a fake you dummies. It's a
fake out. It's to get Maduro nervous so that he
voluntarily says, okay, I'm out of here, I don't want
to be invaded. And then a few days ago, on
December tenth, twenty twenty five, Trump does what he always does.

(33:10):
He throws a little sign that he means business. December
tenth five, a highly trained team of US Marines and
United States Coast guardsmen seized an oil tanker off of
Venezuela's coast in an effort to enforce sanctions against Venezuela.
It was a sanctioned freighter and to disrupt the country's

(33:32):
illegal oil trade. American forces from helicopters that the imagery
is great, repelling from the cup r under the deck
of the ship with weapons drawn. Nobody hurt, nobody killed,
and detained the captain. President Trump announced the operation on Wednesday,
shortly after it happened, from the White House. The taker

(33:54):
seized the skipper was sanctioned in twenty twenty two by
the Biden administration due to its ties to Iran and Hezbollah.
If Biden had done the same, they would have been cheering.
But Trump does it, and he's a criminal. It is
equipped with electronic warfare technology that could disrupt American vessels

(34:19):
and forces in the area. The Trump administration says that
these the electronic warfare technology on this kinker to see.
That's the way it is with bad guys. It's an
oil tanker on them. It's like the mafia, right, they
got the front. Oh it's just a laundromat, but it's
actually a drug operation in the outback, or it's a

(34:41):
front for moving money. That's the bad guys do it
with everything. So of course the oil tanker is not
just an oil tanker. It is equipped with an electronic
warfare technology. It's like a moss with their bases underneath
schools and hospitals. That's what that's what evil does They

(35:06):
play you for a full Oh it's just an oil tanker.
No it isn't. It's full of electronic warfare technology. It's
a military vessel that is transporting oil illegally. And the
Trump administration recognized that knew that opposed a real threat
to American forces in the area. Knew that the tanker
was sanctioned by Biden in twenty two, but he did

(35:29):
nothing about it, so they took action. Press Secretary Caroline
Levitt announced that the vessel will go to US port
and the United States doesn't tend to seize the oil
it's not that much oil. I'm not good, not that
big of a deal. However, there is a legal process
for the seizure of that oil, and that legal process

(35:50):
will be followed, she said in the operation Seizing the vessel.
This came only hours after the United States CIA smuggled
the venezuel An opposition leader out of the country, Maria Maschado.
She won the most recent presidential election in Venezuela, but
the election was stolen. President mcduall refused to step down.

(36:14):
The election was stolen here in twenty twenty. Didn't require
but we didn't. We didn't take that kind of action.
And now the leftists claiming Trump's gold the last election.
But yet they're perfectly happy with President mcduall refusing to
step down when he didn't win. And everybody knows that

(36:34):
the election was stolen and Maria Mashado won. And when
I say everyone knows, here's your evidence. She was awarded
the Nobel Peace Prize as the CIA was smuggling around
the country and when she was and she was and
they whisked her to Norway. She went through like ten countries.
They she had a wig on when they got her out,

(36:55):
and then she and then they took her to Norwhere
where she accepted the prize and her acceptance speech. When
asked about America at Venezuela's doorstep, here's Mashado's remark. Because
I was like, oh, well, America's getting invade Venezuela does
not concern you, she says, because you know, you know

(37:16):
how the leftist media is. She says, Venezuela has already
been invaded. We have Russian agents, we have Iranian agents.
We have terrorist groups such as Hespellah Hamas operating freely
in accordance with the regime. We have the Colombian guerrillas,
the drug cartels that have taken over sixty percent of
our population. The very fact that she was able to

(37:39):
escape sends a message to Maduro too, by the way,
that there's fools in his security and likely opposition personnel,
people who are on Mashado's side. They reside inside his
security apparatus. And what that means is Maduro's tight grip
over his military that he's been bribing with the money
he gets from the the illegal cell of this oil

(38:02):
is not as complete and full as he thinks. Meanwhile,
there's a couple of American in F eighteens patrolling the
coast of Venezuela. Even more chilling is the list of
foreign invaders operating on Venezuelan and soil at the behest
of President Maduro. According to a shadow and according to

(38:23):
what we know thanks to President Trump and his teams,
US military assets are massing in Puerto Rico right now,
joining forces already present in the Caribbean. Growlers, which provide
the electronic warfare support, are among those assets, joining the
growing fleet of equipment in that region, along with the

(38:45):
nice collection of F thirty five's notice, we don't hide
all that stuff in an oil tanker. We're not the mafia,
and we're not the bad guys communists and stuff I
got say hey, no, we've got military assets here they are,
buddy boy. Now. The White House, however, denies that wars
on the horizon. As Secretary Levitt said, he wants peace

(39:09):
and Trump has shown that right. He's ended like eight
wars in the first nine months of his presidency. She said,
he wants peace and he wants to see the end
of illegal drugs being trafficked into the United States and
taking the lives of hundreds of thousands of Americans cross country.
In other words, he wants peace, but you got to
be firm to stop this garbage. And as per Machado's

(39:30):
statement regarding the foreign personnel operating in Venezuela, Maduro is
harboring drug cartels, guerrilla fighters, Russian KGB agents, and radical
Islamic jihadis just a hair over one thousand miles off
the coast of Florida. Oh, I'll get there, trust me,
I'll get there. President Trump's handling of the rising Venezuelan

(39:53):
crisis has been measured, as is all of his international tendencies.
He does it just going in with a handgar named
blow things up. He goes in with a scalpel. He
does this, He does that, He does this, and he's
squeezing Maduro slowly through the thing that will hurt him most.

(40:14):
The money because he's stopping the drug trafficking in oil
transports is what the seizure of the tanker was all about.
The Venezuelan dictators, illegal oil experts are the primary source
of funding for his regime. With that money, he bribes
his military, and he bribes politicians, and he lives a
luxurious lifestyle. It's his people scarve and live like folks

(40:35):
in any failed communist state, just before the walls come
crashing down. With sanctions by the United States increasing, twenty
two drug boats destroyed as they travel to the US
packed with illegal drugs, and the United States Navy floating
near Venezuela's coast and sure on Madua is increasing. Middle
Eastern accomplices, and Russia's Vladimir Putin are offering for Maduro

(41:00):
a fleet of their regions. Bible rusters say, come on,
we'll put you up. But the big picture goes way
beyond Maduro, Middle East and Russia. What is going on
is President Trump's necessary extension of the Monroe Doctrine. For
the safety of the United States. It is important that
we ensure the Western hemisphere is not being infested with

(41:22):
enemies from the Eastern Hemisphere seeking to destroy the West.
And I'm not We're not just talking about Russian and
Muslim intrusion. What we're battling against, really, what the true
enemy here is is Chinese infiltration of the West. As
Russia and China have begun conducting military drills together in
the ocean. No response to that. Beyond the Venezuelan tanker

(41:46):
seizure which will hopefully continue hopefully to more sanctioned tankers.
US bombers have been joining Japanese fighter jets over the
Sea of Japan. The seizure of the tankers hurts China,
and they operations with Japan keeps them honest for the moment.
The sanction in Venezuelan oil, after all, is mostly being

(42:07):
sold to China, and the Chinese have been building massive
refineries in Venezuela. Feazing the taker stops a part of
the oil flowing into China, and as American pressure in
Latin America sends a message to China, Russia, Islam, and
even Colombia. President Trump from the White House said he's

(42:30):
gonna give himself a big problem if he doesn't wise
up when asked about Colombia's leadership. Colombia's producing a lot
of drugs. They have cocaine factories that make cocaine, as
you know that flows right in the Ied States. So
he better wins up or he'll be next. Now. I
got a lot more to say, but I'll tell you
what I missed. My break, like fifteen Mescos does take
the break real quick so I can take a drink,

(42:50):
wet the whistle, and then when we come back, I'm
gonna talk a little bit more about China's involvement, what
China is doing globally. Don't go anywhere.

(48:33):
take you to that page and the Refederalist report Warhampster
and I are going line by line, day by day
through Madison's notes, which are the notes taken by James
Madison during the Constitutional Convention in seventeen eighty seven. So
I'm all over online on the air on radio. Pay
it a visit, all right, So when we left, I

(48:56):
was talking about China's influence. Now understand China's doing more
than just Venezuela. China's Belt and Road Initiative is a
massive global infrastructure development strategy launched in twenty thirteen by
Chinese President Ejijing Ping, aimed at connecting Asia, Europe, Africa
through vast networks of railways, roads, ports, pipelines, digital links

(49:20):
to increase China's geopolitical influence. And Colombia has bought into it.
So President Trump's actions in Latin America goes way beyond Venezuela,
way beyond drugs, way beyond communist regimes like Venezuela, and
way beyond foreign influence. He's attempting to break China's global
empirical scheme and seizing takers off the coast of Venezuela

(49:43):
and making Colombia nervous. It's just a small part of
the overall operation. Americans are already dying because of China's
influence south of our border, and President Trump's operations are
a reasonable response to the Far East invasion of the
Western hemisphere. Ye, we have the Democrats beside themselves or
Trump's operations, largely because they are indirectly in cahoots with

(50:07):
the global mess festering at our back door. Maxine Waters
went so far to accuse Trump of being a murderer
and calling for him to be brought up on charges
or taking national security actions you would expect a good
president of the United States to take. She went even farther,
saying that he's required to go to Congress, the Congress

(50:28):
of the United States, before conducting such operations. No, Maxine Waters,
like her Democratic colleagues, continue to thumb their nose at
the Constitution with their claims Congress has no authority to
micro manage the actions of the president, especially when it
comes to foreign affairs. He is well within his authorities
as commander in chief. Could you imagine if the general

(50:49):
out in the battlefield had to check with the president
before each each little move. That if the sergeant in
his battle group before they started opening fire on an
enemy attacking them, they had to call the general first.
It was the stupidest thing I've ever heard. And that's
what the Democrats are calling for. The mess wouldn't even
exist if the Biden administration hadn't opened the southern border

(51:10):
wide open with open border policies in the first place.
President Trump is operating in accordance to his America First
foreign policy, a policy that is among a long list
of reasons he was elected back in office in twenty
twenty four. The goal is not a land war in
Venezuela or anywhere else in Latin America. That is just
the usual rhetoric you hear from the Democrats and their

(51:31):
media allies. It's about pressure, calling the bad elements, getting
the bad elements festering in the Western hemisphere to take
a height, which is exactly what it looks like Maduro
might be doing. And the plan is working properly to
move to a position that keeps our backyard relatively free
of invaders from the East, from the other hemisphere. It's

(51:52):
about stopping the making of drugs and the running of drugs,
and the smuggling of oil so that the money and
influence can float in the hands of enemies like China
who seek the destruction of America. President Trump has decided
he's not just going to allow that. Under Trump, we
are simply not going to allow the evil players of
the world to bring their problems to us, and especially

(52:16):
to bring them inside our country and taking the lives
of Americans. Despite claims to the contrary, I don't believe
this is the endless war scenario that we've seen the
United States engage in during past administrations, including the Neokon
regime of George W. Bush. These operations are necessary in
the correct climate. President Trump is making real life decisions

(52:38):
based on what is best for Americans. Just fite electoral
threats and the screaming of his political opposition. President Trump
is doing something we haven't seen in a very long time,
is operating as a real leader on the worldwide stage.
And before we get all bent out of shape, understand
that while we know a lot about what is going on,

(53:00):
I just laid much of it out for you. President
Trump and his team knows more than we do. President
Trump has shown he hates warre and wants peace, and
he also operates on the same wave length of George Washington.
Be firm, be ready for war, and take care of America,
but only do so when it is directly influential in
our interests. In other words, rather than go and fight

(53:23):
other countries' wars around the globe, we need to be
taking care of America's domestic and international interests, and its
actions in Latin America is definitely doing both. How many
American lives are being saved with Trump taking out Trump
drug boats. How many more lives will be saved when
Venezuela finally falls out of the grip of communism, Colombia

(53:49):
finally is pushed back against when it comes to their
production of drugs, and China and Russia and Islam is
sent packing and returns to the Eastern him with the
tails between their legs. President Trump is operating on an
American first, America first platform, and if it ticks off
a bunch of Democrats and a few Libertarians freaking out

(54:11):
because they think it means war. So be it. When
you look at the big picture, president Trump is doing
exactly what he ought to do. When you look at
the big picture, President Trump is doing exactly what we've
voted him into office to do. And President Trump, if
you look at the big picture, is doing whatevery spineless

(54:36):
president before him refused to do. He's being the president
we've always needed and we always hoped for now. If
