Speaker 1 (00:01):
Mors coursemation.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
Now, we have a special guest with us today and
I'm very very pleased to be able to introduce This
is Chaplain Gordon Klingenschmidt, who goes by doctor Chaps. He
was a former Navy chaplain and I actually came across
him when I was working with WorldNet Daily because he
(00:26):
has a very famous case we're going to discuss in
which he was reprimanded by the Navy for praying in
the Name of Jesus and it led to quite a
few repercussions, and we let him tell the story. But
doctor Chaps, welcome here today. Thank you for joining us.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Thank you, doctor Corsi. I'm honored to see you again.
I think we saw each other in passing at NRB recently.
I was also you were a guest on our TV
show Pray in Jesus Name News, which airs on the
NRB network. And we're on eight networks and two hundred
and thirty one million television home impressions, not including the Internet.
(01:09):
If you include the Internet. We're on seventeen streaming platforms,
but not as big an audience as you. I hear
you're like in the top one hundred podcasts Now across America.
What an honor to be on your show.
Speaker 2 (01:21):
Well, it's honored to have you with us. And the
NRB is National Religious Broadcasters and they had their annual
convention just recently in Nashville, which I attended, and it
was a great event. It was terrific. Donald tomp spoke
at it. It was quite good. Now, why don't we
start in with your story, because you started out with
(01:42):
the Air Force Academy, and why don't you give us
the details of this encounter you had with the Navy
because you were praying the name of Jesus.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
Well, thank you. I'm honored to tell my story. Many
of your viewers or listeners have already heard, but for
those who haven't. I'm an Air Force Academy graduate. My
degree is in political science International Affairs and that came
in handy when I was an intelligence officer in the
Air Force and serving with foreign governments and intelligence exchange
(02:14):
with them. And it also served me well when I
ran for office later. I was later elected to the
Colorado State House of Representatives as a legislator. I used
my polycide degree. Not many people do unless you go
into law. I did not go into law. I went
into theology, and having earned my PhD in theology, I
(02:38):
wanted to become a chaplain. Well, the Air Force had
too many chaplains. The Navy didn't have enough chaplains. So
actually volunteered for a demotion and I switched services. I
was an Air Force major. We had a demotion ceremony.
They took off my oak leaves and put on lieutenant bars.
One day I was in the Air Force. Next I
was in the Navy, and they cut my and they
(03:00):
sent me to sea. Welcome to the Navy Chaplain Corps.
And I was a preacher of the Gospel of Jesus
Christ on a Navy ship and our ship went overseas
we fought in Iraq. My sailors launched Tomahawk missiles into Iraq.
I was there on the ship with them. And when
we came home from the war, I took the sailors
(03:20):
every Friday to feed the homeless, and they won six awards,
including Best in the Navy for community service. So I
was on track to be promoted again until there was
a controversy about my religion and I decided to take
a stand.
Speaker 2 (03:37):
Well, that's tell us about the controversy again. I think
this is a very important part of the story and
I want to hear the exact details of what happened,
so please.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yes, thank you. In twenty ih six, under the Bush administration,
there was a bad policy signed by the Secretary of
the Navy, Donald C. Winter. Had only been in the
job for six months, and I think he was fooled
by the religious pharisees in the Navy chaplain Corps. They
put a bad policy in front of him that said
(04:09):
chaplains cannot pray in Jesus name. You can say non
sectarian prayers in public, for example, you can pray to God,
you can say Amen at a public microphone. But if
you say in Jesus' name, Amen, you're being insensitive and
you should be punished for your speech unless you do
(04:31):
that inside of a Sunday chapel. So Sunday morning, it's
okay if you're inside the chapel, but if it's Monday
through Saturday, don't pray in Jesus name. If you're outside
of the chapel, don't pray in Jesus name. If you're
in your military uniform, don't pray in Jesus name in public.
Don't be seen anywhere. While I thought, this is ridiculous.
It not only violates the First Amendment of the Constitution
(04:52):
to censor the content of my prayers and for the
government to punish that. But I wear the Cross of
Jesus Christ on my military uniform. You can see behind
me the chaplain motto and the shoulder boards actually have
the Cross of Jesus Christ on them. So why can't
I say his name? So I decided to take a stand.
(05:12):
I called my friend, Judge Roy Moore, the Ten Commandments Judge,
and he flew to Washington, d C. There's actually a
picture of him on my walls, standing next to me.
And we stood outside of the White House on a
Thursday morning, and I wore my full dress Navy uniform
and I prayed in Jesus' name on a public sidewalk. Oh,
(05:34):
the horror, What a crime that was. But actually it
did violate the new Navy policy because I was in
my uniform outside of church on a public sidewalk, and
I prayed in Jesus name on a Thursday. That's not
allowed under the new policy. They offered me a misdemeanor
letter of reprimand and I said no, I refuse your
(05:55):
letter of reprimand I demand my legal right to a
court martial, and God blessed the Navy brass they granted
my request.
Speaker 2 (06:04):
Well, okay, so what happened to the court martial?
Speaker 3 (06:07):
So you can picture just like in the movies, right,
there's a judge and a jury and a prosecutor, and
I'm on defense for my faith. And the judge had
to read the new policy second have Instruction one seven
three zero point seventy was the basis of his decision
that I violated a so called lawful order. Now, the
(06:29):
lawfulness of the order did not depend on the First
Amendment of the Constitution. No, they ignored that. Instead, they
found that I was guilty of worshiping in public. That
was literally what the judge ruled. He said, you can
only do that on a Thursday, on a Sunday morning
inside of church. That public worship is safe inside of church.
(06:51):
But since I prayed on a Thursday morning outside of
the White House, I was not engaged in public worship. Instead,
I was worshiping in public, and worshiping in public is
not protected by law. Guilty of worshiping in public in
his Navy uniform and violating the new policy that he
specified in his order. Tears of joy came to my
(07:13):
eyes in that Virginia courtroom because I was finally worthy
to share in the suffering of standing up for the
name of Jesus Christ. I remember in the Bible, in
Acts chapter four, Peter and John were ordered by the Pharisees,
you must not preach or teach or anything at all
in Jesus name. But they said, who are you pharisees?
Should we obey men or should we obey God? And
(07:36):
they disobeyed men, they obeyed God. They kept on preaching
in Jesus name. But they were punished. They were flogged
for their disobedience by preaching and praying in Jesus name,
while I was pleased to suffer a similar fate. Although
I wasn't flogged, I did get a letter of reprimand
and a fine. But two miracles happened that week, Doctor Corsi.
(07:59):
Number one, one thousand miles off the coast of Virginia.
Hurricane Gordon was swelling at full strength. And my first
name is Gordon. So God is laughing in heaven. There
are signs and wonders in the seas. And number two,
my story, my guilty verdict was published in five hundred newspapers.
(08:19):
It inspired three hundred thousand Americans like you and readers
of WorldNet Daily to stand up and sign those petitions
to Congress, and there was a national revival. I think
anytime three hundred thousand Americans stand up for Jesus with me,
that's a sign that God is blessing the movement. I
had a ninety five percent approval rating on polls by
(08:40):
WorldNet Daily, eighty four percent approval rating on polls by
Associated Press or other posters. And the American people were
outraged with me. Why would they punish a chaplain about Jesus.
So I went to Capitol Hill. I was testifying with
several Congressmen, and I met with the chief staff for
(09:00):
the top senator over the Pentagon, John Warner of Virginia.
This is in two thousand and six. Senator John Warner
was a moderate. He wasn't really a conservative, but he
made a speech on the floor of the US Senate.
I am being besieged by bloggers, emails, phone calls, facts
as everyone in America wants to let chaplains pray in
(09:21):
Jesus name. So by order of Congress, they wrote it
into the NDAA that the Navy must reverse and rescind
this bad policy. He named the same policy in his
speech that I was punished for in the court one
seven three zero point seven c. And one month later,
this is October of twenty oh six, the Secretary of
(09:42):
the Navy, Donald C. Winter, repented. He was forced by
Congress to rescind the bad policy. And now the chaplains
can pray in Jesus name. We won. We restored religious
freedom for all the other military chaplains going forward, and
they have religious liberty to pray in Jesus' name, even
in public, even in uniform, seven days a week. Unfortunately,
(10:05):
that was the end of my career, and I lost
a million dollar pension.
Speaker 2 (10:10):
Right, I mean, this is you paid a big price
for standing up for Jesus, but you changed the policy
the military, hopefully permanently. Now this just began another career
for you. This was just a jumping off point for
the next part of your life.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
You're right. You know. It's funny. When I was on
the Navy ship, I would preach to somewhere between five
and ten sailors. But then after I left the Navy,
I was honorably discharged, but I did lose a million
dollar pension. I lost sixteen year career as an officer
plus four years as a cadet that don't do not
count toward my pension. So I had twenty years, but
(10:48):
only sixteen good years. So I left without any benefits,
to be honest, except you know, some veterans' care for healthcare.
But then it's like the Lord just launched me in
a different direction altogether. I started pray in Jesus' name ministries,
and we've just taken off. I mean, the Lord has
(11:11):
accelerated my broadcasting career. We started ten years ago with
just a podcast like you, and now we're on national
television on eight cable or satellite networks. We've now helped
send five million petitions to Congress over the years. We've
helped change bad laws or policies thirteen times in thirteen
(11:33):
different states, plus four times in federal law. All of
those victories are documented in my book How to Liberate
the World, a step by step guide to take back
your Country. I'm just saying that we've had such great success.
Our ministry has received a lot of donations from the
public who helped put us on television so much that
(11:55):
we have extra now to feed orphans and children in India,
and I'm very active overseas. We go there twice a
year and we're feeding almost one thousand orphans and children
overseas with the excess that comes in from donations from
all over the country. People are supporting Pray in Jesus Name,
(12:15):
and you know, we're taking back the country one policy
issue at a time.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
So, Chris, if you could show the cover of that
book and so people can get a good look at it,
and of course the website is on the screen. It's
Pray in Jesus Name dot org. Pray in Jesus Name
dot org. Now, so doctor Chaps, we're gonna put the
cover up. Chris is going to kind of do the
(12:43):
screen so people can really see the cover of the book.
And you can get that book, I'm sure on Amazon
and other probably in bookstores as well, and you can
probably also purchase it on your book website. Is that correct, Yes, sir.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
If you go to Prayinjesusname dot org, there's a bookstore
at the top, you can get all of our DVD teachings.
As a PhD in theology, I taught college for three
years at Colorado Christian University in Bible and theology. So
you can get our DVD series on prayer, on Discerning
of Spirits, on the Gospel of Matthew, which I taught
(13:17):
in Israel on location. All of those in this book
How to Liberate the World are all available wherever books
are sold, but especially through our website Pray in Jesus
Name dot org.
Speaker 2 (13:31):
Now let's talk about how to liberate the world because
you have experience with the persecution of Christians that's going
on worldwide right now, and your ministry is an international ministry,
So why don't you give us some details about this?
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Well, thank you. You know, I was twice interviewed by
the Trump administration to fill the job for which I applied.
I was not selected US Ambassador for International Religious Freedom,
and they gave that job to Sam brown Back, and
he just done a much better job than I ever
would had I been selected. But I care very deeply
(14:08):
about international religious freedom, and we've been tracking and reporting
on instances of real persecution. I mean, here in America,
we suffer. You know, they're going to demonetize our YouTube videos,
big deal, or they may censor our speech if we
talk too much about LGBT or something like that. But overseas,
(14:30):
they will kill you, and there have been deaths in
states like India where I have been and now the
India people are very gentle, they're very friendly, but there
are pockets of resistance where the Hindu radical mobs are
extremist and violent and the federal government looks the other way.
(14:51):
President Narenda Modi that the Prime Minister of India looks
the other way. And his BJP party, which is a
conservative part they're kind of like the Republican Party, but
sometimes they partner with the RSS Party, which is like
the Nazi Hindu party in India that is engaging in
political and violent persecution against Christians and against Muslims in
(15:16):
various pockets of the country. The US Center for International
Religious Freedom for which Sam Brownback was the ambassador, now
Joe Biden has a Muslim doing that job. But they
have identified now India as a Country of Particular Concern
a CPC. They're on the bad boy list, kind of
(15:36):
like North Korea or China, which is persecuting the Wigers
in the Western region, but India is persecuting the Christians,
particularly in the state of Manipur, which is a northeast state.
It's so far east that the India citizens look like Asians,
but it's about forty percent Christian and about sixty percent Hindu.
(15:58):
And because of some political debate over affirmative action, the
Christians get benefits and the Hindus are angry. But the
Christians are farmers. They live in the rural regions and
the mountain tribes, and the Hindus live in the cities,
and they have all the technology and all the transportation
and all the benefits that the poor people in the
(16:20):
hills the Christians don't have. So when this blew up
over a protest at a college campus a year ago,
it morphed into a statewide genocide against the Christians. Over
two hundred churches were burned, hundreds of Christians were killed
dead in the morgues, Thousands were forced to flee their homes,
(16:45):
escaping the Hindu radical violence, and the federal government in
Delhi just ignored it. They said, oh, no, nothing to
see here, NERENDUMODI has still never really condemned the anti
Christian violence, and we're calling for India to do better.
And so the US State Department as this branch called
(17:06):
the US Center for International Religious Freedom. They're recommending to Congress,
our US Congress, that they defund India and stop trading
with India by putting them on the bad boy list
the countries of particular concern until they stop persecuting Christians.
And this is happening not just in Manipor where I
have been, but in nine of the thirty states let's
(17:31):
call them like the Red States, right, the conservative Hindu
states in India. They've passed state laws against Christians saying
that if any Christian preaches the Gospel or converts a
Hindu into Christianity, that the pastor can go to jail.
And so Christians are being arrested all over the country
(17:51):
in nine or maybe ten particular red states that are
radical Hindu, and the state government is violating the federalment
the federal Constitution of India, which the federal Constitution says specifically,
you may propagate your religion. We have freedom to preach
any religion in India. But they ignore that the police
(18:12):
are in on it. The police arrest the pastor, they
put him in jail and then he has to sue
to get bail to get out of jail and then
he has to appeal in the court, sometimes five or
six years. The Christians always win in the court. Eventually,
after five or six years, the Supreme Court will say, oh, yeah,
that Christian, he was wrongly punished. He should have been
allowed to preach the gospel. But meantime he's bankrupted, his
(18:36):
church has burned and destroyed, his family has got to
pay the legal bills. Alliance Defending Freedom has been defending
Christians all over India. That's just one example. We could
go onto Nigeria, Azerbaijan, other examples of stories that I'm following.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
Well, it's amazing because worldwide, I mean there's in the
Middle East, there's a lot of the radical Islamic persecution
of Christians going on, and again people don't report on it.
But even in Ukraine, the Eastern Ukraine, you know, the
Eastern Ukraine is two provinces are very close to Russia,
(19:15):
Russian speaking. The other provinces have been close to Germany
and have Neo Nazis actually fighting with Selenski, and they've
been persecuting the Russian Orthodox Church. We had Christians throughout
the Middle East. I'm constantly getting reports about Christians being killed,
and in Europe. I mean I'm seeing churches being burned
(19:37):
that are not being reported. The massive burning of churches
going on in Europe. It seems like there's a wave
of Christian persecution that I think is the first time
in my lifetime at this intense. Am I wrong about that?
Speaker 3 (19:55):
No, sir, You're absolutely right. The number of martyrs that
is tracked by Voice of the Martyrs increases every year.
For example, in the past decade there have been more
Christians killed around the world than in any decade previous,
and it just accelerates until we read in the Bible
in the end times, the Antichrist will take power and
(20:16):
will try to kill all of the Christians and destroy Israel,
which is always in the news about this time of year.
But to your point, in Ukraine, there is a religious
underpinning to the war there in eastern Ukraine, the Orthodox Church,
which is supporting Vladimir Putin, has literally been using the
(20:42):
Russian army to confiscate Protestant churches in the name of
Orthodox Christianity. So the Protestant churches and the Pentecostal churches
that are very popular growing like weeds, they're being suppressed
and those churches are being seized and the doors are
locked and the Christians are kicked out, and then the
(21:02):
pastors are being targeted for assassination in eastern Ukraine. So
Evangelical Christianity and my friends who are Evangelical in America
are trying to support the persecuted minority that is being
attacked by Russia. It goes both ways. In Western Ukraine,
it might look the other way where the Orthodox churches
are unfavored. And you know, we don't support the Nazi
(21:25):
Party or Zolenski, but they are punishing the Orthodox churches
in Western Ukraine. So there is a religious divide in
that country. Pakistan, you mentioned the Middle East. We have
friends that we just interviewed and I donated to them
at NRB. They came to America fleeing the persecution of Pakistan.
(21:49):
But their father is still there. He's been a pastor
there for fifty years. And in one particular region around
Islamabad over I think, I want to say between seven
and twenty churches, I don't have the exact number have
been burned and destroyed. They showed us the video of
radical Muslims killing Christians and burning the churches to the
(22:13):
ground under false pretenses. What they say is oh one
of the Christians acted out and burned a copy of
the Kuran. Well, that was never verified, but it did
cause a riot where real Christians were killed, and you know,
seven or twenty churches were burned to the ground. And
(22:34):
these pastors are now turning around and serving the community
by digging clean water wells to serve the poor, by
engaging in you know, literacy, teaching, and compassionate care for widows.
The Christians are non violent, but when Islam gets angry,
you can tell there's a violent edge to their religion
(22:56):
and it ends up resulting in more martyrs of Christian
We don't want that, but we praise the Lord because
the blood of the martyrs is the seed of the church.
The revival is growing in Pakistan. Ironically, the revival is
growing in India. When more persecution happens, the people see
(23:18):
the injustice and they side with the Christians. So the public,
I think, in Pakistan or in India, they support religious freedom.
They want the Christians to succeed. It's the radical, angry
mobs that end up doing the violence and make their
own religion look bad.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
It's amazing to me how much animosity there is against
God worldwide, that this secular beast has taken over woke
in the United States, how much we've lost, you know,
getting God out of our schools. The court decisions going
back to the nineteen forties on this whole idea of
(23:58):
separation of church and state, which is never what the
court interpreted it to be. Clearly, our founders not want
us to have a state religion, but they wanted religion
to be free and open. And today you could get
punished for praying even in a public school. Let's say
(24:19):
you wanted to open up your public school by a
prayer to Jesus Christ. How long do you think you'd
last as a teacher? Not very long now.
Speaker 3 (24:28):
We just interviewed for our TV show a Christian lawyer
from Washington State. She's helping a student there, a nine
year old Laura, who wanted to open a Bible club
in her own school, and the school district denied this
nine year old the right to have a prayer meeting
with her friends or maybe she's eleven. I think she's
(24:51):
a little more mature. But the lawyers went in with
first liberty and they're writing demand letters to the principal
of the school, and the principal saying no, no, Christians
can't assemble. Even though we have a gay and lesbian
club for eleven year olds, they can assemble and use
school property, but the Christians can't have that same access because,
(25:12):
oh my gosh, the Gospel might be preached after school
voluntary with parents, you know, giving permission. No, no, we
can't have that because we're Washington State and we're more progressive. Meanwhile,
they're teaching Harvey Milk Day in mandatory lectures to all
of the eleven year olds by the teachers themselves. And
in Colorado they just passed a bad law that if
(25:35):
the teacher objects to using the student's preferred pronouns because
a boy can be a girl in Colorado, then the
Christian teacher would be fired for saying, I have a conscience.
I'm not going to lie and tell my boy student
that he is a girl. I can't lie about that. No,
the teacher's fired for refusing to lie, and the child
(25:57):
is rewarded and the parents are never in formed that
there's a law forbidding now in state of Colorado, parental
consent or information. If the teacher rats out, the trans
kid to the mom and dad. Then the teacher gets
fired for that. So they're secretly covering up the sins
to enable pedophilia. And that's a strong word, but they're
(26:19):
going after your children. This is not twenty fifteen. This
is not about gay marriage. Obergefell has passed right. This
is twenty twenty four. And the new frontier is can
they have access to your children? And do children have
a right to a transgender surgery if they want to,
if a boy wants to be a girl. You know,
(26:39):
these are the new questions that every parent has to
worry about if you choose to send your child to
public school.
Speaker 2 (26:47):
It's amazing to me that, you know, the whole idea
that you can have all this gender madness go on
and it predominating in the schools. But if you want
to talk about Jesus Christ, I mean Christ has been
banned from the public square in the United States. I
(27:08):
mean you can put up a statue to Satan, but
trying to put ten Commandments in front of a courthouse
and you won't get away with it. They'll say that
you can't have that. Okay, So the the the separation
of church and state weaponized atheists to remove God from
(27:29):
our lives, and I see that to be one of
the greatest sins in terms of law. Fair which reads
the Constitution or tries to read Supreme Court decisions so
as to achieve a completely opposite result from what our
founders intended. Our founders intended for religious freedom, which included
(27:53):
the public square. You why can't you preach Jesus Christ
in the public square?
Speaker 1 (27:58):
You know?
Speaker 2 (28:01):
Or people are being arrested for holding a prayer meeting
in front of an abortion center, Chaps, would you like
to comment on that? I mean to me, abortion is
one of the most abhorrent crimes against God and against humanity,
chopping up babies in the womb and selling their body
parts for profit. And if you object to that, you're
(28:26):
the criminal. Would you like to comment on that?
Speaker 3 (28:29):
Yes, sir, I am friends with and I have protested
alongside of some of the eleven. The eleven who are
arrested in Nashville. Six now convicted of felonies, including conspiracy,
which could result in an eleven year jail term. Five
convicted of misdemeanors for simply having a sit in a
(28:51):
peaceful protest outside an abortion clinic where They were singing
hymns and saying prayers and not interfering with anybody, not
touching anybody, no violence. But when the police came, they
arrested the Christians and threw them in jail, and now
five of the eleven are facing misdemeanor jail sentences up
(29:12):
to one year each in prison because the Biden administration
has now weaponized the FBI and created a special abortion
protester task force. It's called something else, but that's what
it is, to arrest Christians for peaceful protest and blocking
what they call access to clinic entrances. When women want
(29:35):
to kill their children, the Christians are the last prophetic
voice that woman hears, and sometimes she changes her mind
and the babies are saved. So I have met with
and recently interviewed on our TV show Pray in Jesus
Name News. Cal Zastro, who is a longtime friend and
has been arrested, is now facing twenty two years because
(29:56):
he's got a second trial in Michigan, having lost the
one in ten Tnesse. Or Chet Gallagher a former policeman
who when he was asked to arrest pro life Christians,
he said, no, I can't do that because I agree
with them. I want to save the babies too, And
after he retired, became a pro life protester. Is now
(30:18):
facing up to eleven maybe twenty two years in jail.
And here's the kicker out of the eleven heroes. Eva
Edel is now eighty seven years old and she is
a Holocaust survivor from Nazi Germany. When she was six
years old, she and her mother were arrested in Nazi
(30:40):
Germany as Jewish Holocaust victims, and she escaped the prison
camps at age six, and eventually she lost her parents,
but eventually fled to America where she grew up with
freedom in America. And now Eva Edel is eighty seven
and for the last thirty years she's been a pro
life protester because she says this is worse than what
(31:03):
they did in Nazi Germany. If they can kill innocent children,
then their blood is on the hands of the government
and I must protest well. For her protest for sitting
peacefully in outside an abortion clinic, she's been arrested and
now faces up to one year in jail. Is this
what we become to arrest eighty seven year old Jewish
(31:24):
Holocaust survivors because they believe that a baby has a
right to be born. This is Joe Biden's administration. They've
gone so far to the violent, radical government weaponized left
that Christians no longer have a voice even to protect
the most innocent among us.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
It's amazing to me. I mean, the idea that this
satanic evil killing you only God has. Only God can
give life. God gives this child in the womb the
gift of life, and Satan takes it away. And we
protect under the law fair protecting the right of a
(32:05):
woman to choose. We say that woman has the right
up to birth to kill the baby. That and some
would have it. I mean, I wrote the abomination. Two
thousand and eight, Barack Obama was giving speeches on the
Illinois State legislature floor saying it was okay to kill
(32:26):
the baby after it was born the mother didn't want it.
I mean, this is this is infanticide, and yet that's
supposedly okay. So these people have no the Satanic view,
no no worth to human life, you know. And and
the law Department of Justice is now on the side
(32:49):
of Satan here protecting the right to kill the baby,
not to protect the baby's right to live. That's a life,
that's a human life. I mean again, I think the
pro life movement and benefited by being able to show
(33:09):
pictures of what these abortions look like, to show the
body parts being sold to how babies are chopped to
pieces in the womb to be taken out killed brutally,
babies screaming in the womb, ultrasounds that we can see
this is a human life and yet it's being killed,
(33:31):
and that that's what's being protected by our law and
our constitution. Now, I think the finally we get a
decision which says Roe v. Wade has to be re
evaluated by the states. But now the these demons dedicated
to killing babies are going to fight in the state
legislatures to get the state legislatures to pass laws which
(33:53):
universal rights for abortion. I mean, how insane has this become?
I mean, this is to me, you know, well, we're
on the verge of losing the fundamental value of life,
which is once a society loses that, what do we
have left.
Speaker 3 (34:14):
Viewers should know that this fall, this November, there are
thirteen states that may have pro abortion initiatives on the ballot.
Four of the states also have pro life initiatives on
the ballot, and I think two of them have both.
One has Two of them have both pro abortion and
pro life initiatives on the ballot, which means when people
(34:37):
go to vote for Trump or Biden this year, they'll
also be able to vote should abortion be legal in Florida?
Should abortion be legal in I want to say, Arkansas
and thirteen states. Colorado has both should should abortion be banned?
Or should it be legal? And they're putting this into
(34:58):
the state constitution in the wake of the repeal of Roe.
Now the states do have power temporarily to either save
or kill children. Well, I think life is in the constitution.
I think the federal Constitution protects an innocent child's right
to life, but the Supreme Court has not yet codified
(35:19):
that in any particular case. So for now, the pro
aborts are winning these ballot initiatives, and people who watch
your show or pro life, like watch my show, we
need to vote, We need to show up. We need
to say no to the child killing in your state. Meanwhile,
the OBA, sorry, the Biden administration, is doing the same
(35:41):
thing that Obama did, but they are reinterpreting various laws
like the nineteen eighty six Emergency Room Act. It's called MTALA.
They're saying, back in nineteen eighty six, they passed a
law that everyone should have access to an emergency room.
That law never mentions abortion, But this year Biden is
(36:02):
saying that requires that every woman can get an abortion
in the emergency room and the Christian doctors have to
do the abortion. That's literally what the federal administration is
twisting the nineteen eighty six law to make Christian doctors
kill children in emergency rooms in all fifty states, including
(36:23):
the Red States. That bad abortion. That's the lawfair that
the Biden administration is enacting that you're talking about, and
that case is before the US Supreme Court. I think
Idaho is bringing it up and saying no, no, we
don't want to force our Christian doctors to kill children
in Idaho emergency rooms. But the Biden administration and their
Solicitor general are arguing for this. More child killing is
(36:47):
on the ballot. My good friend Randall Terry, founder of
Operation Rescue, just earned the ballot line for the Constitution Party,
and he'll be coming on it as a guest on
our show. Probably still supporting Donald Trump, because I think
either Trump or Biden are going to win that race,
and it'll be worse if Biden is elected. But now
(37:08):
that we have a voice like Randal Terry, he can
run those commercials in Michigan and show the pictures of
the abortion waste of the dead baby parts, which I've
held up on posters outside of clinics, But now he
can show that on national television and say this is
what Joe Biden wants. Are you with Joe Biden on
(37:30):
this issue? Vote no on the Michigan abortion initiative. He
can do that as a presidential candidate, and Randall Terry
is getting the message out because he has access to
the airwaves that he would not be able to purchase
if he were not a presidential candidate. So that's a
win win.
Speaker 2 (37:47):
It's interesting that a doctor, then Christian doctor, who refuses
to perform an abortion in an emergency room, could lose
the right to practice medicine, yes to have their certification challenged,
or perhaps even committed a crime because they wouldn't give
an abortion. If law demands access and they refuse to
(38:12):
perform the surgery, that's they're risking their career. And to me,
these things are just so perverted it's hard to believe
that we've come to this point. But you know, the
left operates incrementally. So they begin with, you know, we'll
just take prayer out of the schools. You know. Then
(38:34):
it's one step after another, and it's constant, so they
end in a godless world. They have this view in mind,
you know, and they work towards it with any setback.
They just can constantly figure out a new law, fair
strategy to come back at it again. So the defense
(38:56):
of life is at a critical point in the United States,
and I certainly never thought we'd get to this point.
I mean, this is, how can we be a Christian
nation if we don't defend the unborn? And how are
we going to care about the elderly? Are they just
(39:18):
useless too? How about euthanasia, where we have the left
saying now we'll have transitioning as a right. Well, is
euthanasia going to be a right for school kids in Canada?
Speaker 3 (39:36):
They're already there, right, Canada and Europe they're already experimenting
with euthanasia for handicapped children and certainly the elderly. But
this is America and we have religious freedom, thank God
for our founding fathers who saw the persecution that they
had suffered was now reversed by the First Amendment of
(40:00):
the Constitution giving us religious freedom is our number one
freedom in America. And why is religious freedom more important
than freedom of speech? Because if you have freedom of
speech but you don't have freedom of religion, then you
can't really talk about religious things or you'd be punished.
It's more important than freedom of the press because you
can't really talk about you can't write or publish about
(40:22):
Christian things or you'd be punished. That's why religious freedom
is the first freedom. If you have freedom to assemble,
but you don't have religious freedom, then you can't really
assemble for religious reasons. So there's no freedom assembly at
all if you can't assemble for religious freedom. So religious
freedom is number one. They're chipping away at it here
(40:43):
in America. They're not killing us yet like they do
in Pakistan or Azerbaijan, or North Korea or Nigeria. Northern
Nigeria's is under fire now that they have a Muslim president.
We could go on about these things, but here in
America there is an incremental creep where first they accuse
(41:04):
Christians of discriminating, and then they take away your children,
like the law now says in California if a Christian
parent won't let their kid get a transgender surgery, then
the Christian parent loses custody and they give the kid
to a gay couple. No, when there's some point when
American Christians are going to have to take up arms
(41:25):
to protect our own right to have children and raise
them as Christians, they're going to put Christians in jail
like the eleven that are already going to jail under
the Biden administration. President Trump said he would pardon them.
So this is a critical election for religious freedom across
America and the pastors. Now, our ministry was audited by
(41:48):
the Irs. The IRS came into our workspaces and spent
a year looking at our books and found nothing wrong
because every penny is accounted for and published and transparent.
But the one thing the IRS agent left us, although
we passed our audit, he said, we noticed on your
television show that you set a prayer for a candidate,
(42:11):
and although you didn't endorse the candidate, although you offered
equal time to his opponent, your prayer implied that you
wanted God to bless this candidate with victory. Is and
is that a endorsement of the candidate, because you could
lose your tax exempt status chaplain if you endorse a
candidate from the pulpit. And that's what they accused us of,
(42:35):
and it's documented against us as a performance defficiency. So
you know, there's there's probably a lawsuit there if if
NRB or Michael Ferris wants to represent it. I'm talking
to my board about that. But the government is being
weaponized against the Christians, against the pastors, and pastors are
running scared in America. They're they're afraid to talk about
(42:56):
these issues. Maybe they would be attacked by the government,
but more likely they would offend some Democrat who wouldn't
tie it to their church anymore. So they got the
pastors by the purse strings. And the pastors are no
longer a prophetic voice of righteousness in America. We need
booming pulpits to bring America back to righteousness by talking
(43:18):
about these issues that you're so bold to talk about,
doctor Corsi. A lot of pastors are a little bit
uh lukewarm.
Speaker 2 (43:27):
These are biblical issues, you know, the the man and
a woman raising raising a child, not being the child
not being taken by the government, that sex is for procreation,
know that they's moral responsibility of parents to provide a
moral education to children. The laws seem to be saying that,
(43:49):
you know, Satan's right, Satan, We're gonna protect Satan. So
the subversives of the Christians, because they're attacking our state
religion with which is atheism or Satanism outright Satanism would
be okay with these people if that isn't twisted. If
you don't see that, we don't have a justice department anymore.
We have a Department of Religious persecution masking is a
(44:13):
justice department or an IRS. You know, the purpose of
a pastor is to provide moral guidance, and this demands
discussion of issues that are biblically based, in terms of marriage,
in terms of life, in terms of raising children. And
(44:34):
these issues have to be able to be discussed. If
they're not discussed, you may allowed the church state to
stay open, but it's vacuous. It isn't delivering a biblical,
complete biblical message because Christ's message had to do fundamentally
with moral living and all the aspects of moral living,
(44:56):
which included social relation, politics, you know, Christ was not
saying he wanted to run the government, but he wanted
to say that certainly the government should not be killing
babies and defending the killing of babies or transitioning children
(45:17):
who sex organs are going to be mutilated, They'll never
have another orgasm, they'll be incapable of reproducing, their lives
are ruined, and that seems to be the evil intent
the government's trying to protect. If the government itself is
protecting the evil to cast out the light from the churches,
(45:37):
we have a fundamental problem. I mean, this to me
is such a violation of the law of God that
any society that proceeds along this is going to have
the judgment of God and it is not going to
be favored by any means because we're not following God's law.
I mean, am I wrong about this, pastor.
Speaker 3 (45:56):
You're absolutely right. There is an irony and it's resulting.
And we just interviewed. In fact, the top video on
our homepage, if Chris could put that up, is a
new whistleblower I want to recommend to you. His name
is Ron Wagner and that's his photo right there. We
just interviewed him for a half hour on our TV show.
(46:17):
This is a professional referee for USA Fencing. He has
refereed fairly Olympic caliber athletes for the last twenty five years.
His daughter was in fencing, that's how he got into it.
And now he has been fired and suspended by USA Fencing,
not for anything he did wrong during while refereeing a
(46:40):
meet or a match, but because on his private Facebook page,
well public Facebook page, but after hours off duty, he
published his disagreement about transgender men competing in women's swimming,
not even about fencing, but because of that there was
a complaint filed against him by a transgender fencer, and
(47:04):
USA Fencing has now made a policy that men can
compete in women's fencing and vice versa. Well, they're firing
the Christian for having an opinion about that unfairness in sports,
but meanwhile they're celebrating how diverse they are because men
can now compete in women's fencing. And that's USA Fencing,
(47:27):
which is funded by our government. They receive taxpayer assistants
because they send our athletes to the Olympics. So Ron Wagner,
I recommend everyone go watch that video right now on
prayin Jesus name dot org and you'll hear another whistleblower story.
I'm so proud of your association with Joseph Farrah over
(47:49):
the years he publishes Whistleblower Magazine and Bob Unru and
all the reporters at WorldNetDaily. My dear friend and the
man who endorsed my book, Doctor Allen Keys has been
He wrote the forward to my book, How to Liberate
the World, A Step by Step Guide to take Back
Your Country. In this book, we have thirty short political
(48:12):
lessons on how activists can take back their country. For example,
how to organize a petition drive and get a thousand signatures,
how to do fundraising for your little cause, how to
lobby your elected official or volunteer to help run a campaign.
How to run for public office and win a seat
(48:33):
in the legislature. We teach all of these things and
it's very short book. It's like rules for radicals, but
these are for Christians and any activist. Even if you
never run for office. You can learn how to take
back your country when you read the book How to
Liberate the World, A Step by Step Guide to take
Back Your Country, with the foreword by my dear friend
(48:54):
and mentor doctor Allen Keyes, who I think has been
on your show.
Speaker 2 (48:57):
I've known Alan for years and great they admire him,
and I was very honored to have the association that
I did long term with World Now Daily, Joseph Fara,
Bob Henrue you mentioned art More. The whole group is
an excellent group of people and they've done much for
advancing the cause of Jesus Christ. And they have been
(49:20):
persecuted at World Now Daily, you know, demonetized by all
the platforms that are celebrating Satan. And it's tough. It's
tough out there to fund these organizations at this time.
But at any rate, thank you doctor Chaps for being
with us. Do you want to give out your website
again please? So we get that, uh.
Speaker 3 (49:43):
And the website is Pray in Jesus Name dot Org.
If I have a moment to.
Speaker 2 (49:48):
Just say a prayer, let's end in prayer.
Speaker 3 (49:51):
Amen, Father in Heaven, we turn to you in Jesus Name,
and we pray for America. We pray that you would
redeem us to the original vision by our founding fathers
who all served and loved the Lord Jesus. But Lord
give us now the America that they envisioned, not one
that is persecuting Christians or killing children, or but father,
(50:15):
one that is like, as President Reagan said, a shining
city on a hill, a beacon to the world of
religious freedom and the possibility of the Gospel being freely preached,
so that every man or woman can be saved, they
can raise their children in peace and have eternal life. Father,
(50:35):
I pray you're blessing on this TV audience that they
will stand up and take back their country. Give us
the same courage that we've been talking about, so we
can save America and return her to greatness. I pray
in Jesus' name. Amen.
Speaker 2 (50:50):
Amen, Thank you, doctor Chapster. Being with u has been
a great show. God bless your mission, and if you're
welcome back, we greatly admire your courage and determination, and
that we pray for your success.
Speaker 3 (51:07):
Thank you for having of course ye, God bless you
in Jesus Name.
Speaker 2 (51:09):
Bye bye, Jesus Name, goodbye. Thank you.
Speaker 1 (51:14):
M m mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm okay, okay h
