Speaker 1 (00:04):
We'll give everyone to another episode of Colsh Warriors. I'm
your host Earlaza Ron and is always joined by my
great mate Richard conductor Leddy Bro. You're supposed to be

(00:26):
wearing a Maroon's jumper with the New South Wales signce
his new stuff sacks. What happened?

Speaker 2 (00:32):
I got the sign. This sucks, but yeah, man, I
haven't been prepared. It was away on the weekend, you know.
He put the kids down and then uh and then
into the which the wardrobeisode I can find and nothing
even resembles a reader or a maro own colors, So
we have to just just deal with. Yeah, my my

(00:56):
very very basic for the hambrid and signed and I
have enough. You can see it there. But yeah, it wasn't.
It wasn't a great performance from the boys. And I met,
I met the stage of my my my rugbul league
career where I genuinely believe that in yourself would suck
at performance because it was. Yeah, it was shouldn't shouldn't
have lost. But Cordos to Queensland, they seem to just

(01:16):
you know, they often talk about how Queensland origin means
a lot more to them then then to New South
else and that game is a good example of that,
you know, like there's just something in the in the
water in Queensland where they are able to bring out
a performance like that. So goods to them. I'm looking
forward to head to the decided going to be as well.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Yeah. Well, for those who don't know who are listening
in or watching this, Richard and I had a bit.
I'm obviously a Maroon supporter, Richard obviously supports the Blues.
He's a band maker supporter, going from going from what
he just said, but yeah, it's been a bit about
who's win the game if Hoover last had to wear
you know, the opposition's jersey, and I find that said

(01:57):
they suck and pretty much. Yeah, so I honestly thought
didn't really have a shot. But you know, I just
had a feeling. I told you, I had a feeling
that something is just something is just gonna happen. And
it did. It did, and and to be honest with you,
we're gonna talk in a serious note about Origin. I
just want to applaud Kate Kurk Capewell on his performance
because I thought he had a I thought he had

(02:17):
a monstrous performance. He was he was he was in
everything in defense and attack. He was he was, He
was tremendous. He was amazing on the night And to
be honest, I thought he was just gonna get Maud
of the match that's how awesome he played. I mean,
Karen Cameron Muster got it. And yeah, he actually had
a great game as well, especially leading the side for
the first time. But yeah, Cap Well definitely had an

(02:38):
amazing game. And also he's a he's a shilling for
the third game. He's not gonna be you know, look,
he's not gonna be. They're gonna you know, take him
out of the team again or put him into the
bow to the into the bench. Sorry. He had a
great game and sets up a sense of a bit
of a blinder for the for the third origin and
which could have some players missing out. For yourself, Wales,

(03:01):
I hope clear he might not be available. You know,
it was through and three exter so.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Yeah, I know, very interesting have happened Moses as well, obviously,
I think I mentioned he's still out there. Yeah, I
don't know who's the sort of next next cap Obviously
Met Boone's been in the camp a lot, but he's Yeah,
so that maybe they'll give it to him and Louie.
I did see some talk about Isaiah cut from the
Dolphins in the getting the shot. He's obviously been to

(03:27):
chat as the future of yourself weals half back, so
intan what happens. But yeah, I mean yeah, Cape well
was great. He really he really stood out and was
definitely one of the best in the park for for Queensland.
So it's probably my my one positive from that. Obviously,
there's a lot of talk about him, has you know
this tackling or his lack of tackling him. I don't

(03:49):
know if he saw that stat, but he was yeah, yeah,
the worst most of tackles by twenty in the comp
But no, he had a great game. It's going to
try and and was all over the place. But yeah,
I mean you're gonna have met that. Queensland were helped
by Eshley Klein as well. You know, I think if

(04:09):
someone else should be wearing a Queensland jersey, it should
be Ashley Climb because that first half was and I'm
not I'm not demanding the fact that they you know,
there was a lot of a lot of penalies there,
but there was a few few grubby Queensland xt there
that weren't penalized didn't seem like I mean, when there's
eight now, I mean, you know you've got to start
asking some quitions about and you know so, but yeah,

(04:32):
I'm not going to make too many, too many excuses,
but I will say that, and I see he's probably
gonna he's probably gonna get the game three as well.
So hopefully the momentum is back on yourself outside and
he'll he'll, you know, start penalizing Queensland for being grubs
as usual.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
What's what's an Origine game without a bit of grubbiness, right,
and and so no, yeah, there was obviously a lot
sided community count and he's yourself. It's hard to actually
it's hard to actually get back into the game when
you've got such a big counting institute. And if you
want another example that you look at the Warriors game
against Penrith. I'm not saying that the Warriors played played

(05:09):
well or anything, because they didn't in my opinion. And
but the thing is the lotside of our lack of
discipline was granted Penry for those penalties and six against
with what happened there, you know that we just had
we had a lack of we had no ball, no
ball position, and yeah they had pretty much you know,
all the all the ball in their hands and stuff.
So what happens. But yeah, no, going back to Origin,

(05:30):
I mean, I don't know if you throw in Luke
Mtcalf's name in there has been his name has been
tilted as well because he's obviously one of the far
form half backs of the of the season as well,
so it will be interesting to see what happens there.
I mean, I would love to see Luke Metcalfe go
and play Origin. And you know, a lot of a
lot of Warriors fans will say no, no, we need
him with ourselfs. But I'm pretty sure that would be

(05:52):
a dream of us. You know, you can't, you can't
be in the way of dreams. And also I think
that we've got more than decent replacement there in time
avoid you know, right there anyway, so even even to
Madam Hausin a well, you know, if he can slogging
around there as well. So but yeah, no, good game,
good game, and it was a good Origin game and

(06:12):
very close. I thought you were going to do it
and come back and to be honest, but hold on
me in, So can we just make it. Make sure
next week for the next politic episode, you wear maroon's
top with a big science in as well sacks to
keep with the bit.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
I'm not wearing a Maron's top, but I'll wear maroon
colored top top I've got. I've got my sign here,
so you know it's yeah. I'll get my daughter to
make me a pretty more pretty scat step sign as well.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Just for good mesa good man lista Lisia. You know
you're on the beach, so it's all good, mate. But
let's get back into the the Warriors game, because it
was it was a hard game to watch, wasn't it.
It was really really we were really flat and it
wasn't like the besides the game against the Raiders we
were really flat as well. I just thought we were

(07:03):
just really flat on the day. Too many defensive lapses
as well, and giving away with our lack of discipline.
You know, you were talking about Client giving away all
those penalties and stuff, but the penalties that were given
to penrift were quite justified. A lot of the six
A games and stuff and the things where there was
just a lack of discipline we gave. We gave them
too much ball and it just made the game unreally unwatchable.

(07:26):
I mean, obviously we go a lotch it, but it
was really unwatchable. It was not It was not the
Warriors that we've been watching through this season. It was
not the side that we just saw before the buye
the Canella. That wasn't that, That wasn't what we've never
we saw. We saw something totally the opposite. So which
is why. But the thing is, I think I'm not
I'm not panicking. I know a lot of fans are pannicking.
I've seen social media and how they're going on and

(07:47):
on about this person needs to be go to Sviss
needs to go. I mean, this happens. It happens. Look
what happened last year Magic Round when we played Penriff,
who actually won the competition. They they had pretty much
full strength team. We were scrambling for players. We had
a lot of young as young you know, young players
come in who had never played first grade before, and

(08:08):
we beat them at Magic Round as well at Sun Calls.
So these things happen. It doesn't mean it's the end
of the world. Like I said, Penrith lost their game
to us, but they're doing that winning the comp It's
not the end of the world. We just need a
regroup and you know, get back onto it, because yeah,
we don't want to play a game like that. But
what were your thought from the game?

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Yeah, some of the bro like just we looked really
out of sorts on both at tech and defense. I
think we just got playoff the park by by a
Penmith team who just they had nothing to lose and
they and they wanted it more. And sometimes that's that's
how it plays out. Wasn't that It wasn't a heap
of sort of positives. I suppose a couple of positive

(08:46):
to point out as that our completion rate was still
pretty good, like it was at seventeen nine percent, so
we're sort of keeping keeping that up in that way.
But you know, looking at the stats, I think it's
the sort of steak for themselves. You know, like Premia
won the all runs to you know, two hundred to
one hundred and fifty one, ran about five hundred more
meters than us. They had six line breaks to have two.

(09:10):
So you just you can't be you know, winning games
like that, and you know, you look at the you know,
the tries that we got that one that Jackson four
got pretty lucky, you know, like it was it wasn't
a great cack and it was it was knocked on
by I think it was Dane Laurie at the back there,
and then Laban got over for that try. But I'm
not definitely not yeah saying this person needs to go,

(09:32):
this person needs to go. I think we've seen it.
I think it's probably the worst we've seen since Vegas.
I reckon. You know, like even in that Melbourne game,
you know, there was a second half was really really promising,
and then that in that Raiders game, it was just
up against a really good Raiders team. It was it
was a physical game, and we were in it for
the whole game, but just weren't quite able to hold on.
But yeah, the fact that we actually ended up losing

(09:54):
by We're lucky to lose by ten points, you know,
it should have been sixteen or whatever. MAILEA. Graham told
forgot that sort of late runaway try. But yeah, it
was a little bit concerning. But I think what we've
seen from the Warriors this year is that when they've
had these losses, they've bounced back. Well, So I'm not

(10:17):
gonna just out too much until yeah, we see next
week and we see all this weeking and we see
the bounce back, but just a yeah, ugly game. It's
a shame because they haven't played the Mount Smart for
a few weeks. The home. You know, you could see
the home crowd. We're happy to have the boys back,
but they weren't able to put on put on the show. Obviously,
injury wise didn't help. You know, Corey was out pretty

(10:39):
early with concussion delans neck. When about around about halftime
he was off for the game, so it meant there
was a reshuffle. We talked last week about the sort
of benefit of having the back on the on the bench,
but it just seemed like they were a little bit confused.
And even though it seemed like they were kind of
like almost like the players win and you know tomorrow

(11:01):
Marland came on, but it wasn't like he was in
one position, like he felt like he was playing wings
sometimes and seen to sometimes and I think they just
kind of like what they would just seemed like at
one point they were just mixing it up a little bit,
sort of just we're able to get that cagion there
looked like Metcalf meetcalf By things was carrying a little
bit of a league injury as well, So I'm interesting

(11:22):
to see what happens this week. And with a heat,
I imagine he'll get named, but with a he'll be
fit to play, and I haven't sort of, I just yeah,
this is just from sort of from what we saw
and from a few few sort of keyboard warriors you
could say, who have said, you know, I've heard this,
I've heard that, but yeah, and that's that's excuse. But yeah,

(11:46):
it was. It was just on a tech. Was the
biggest concern for me is that we, you know, lad
in the game, we had heaps of chances and we
were just putting up some pretty pretty rubbish kicks and
and sort of just looked like like we've seen this year,
you know, like I mean, we've seen very few complete performances.
But yeah, they wanted it more and they really took

(12:07):
their chances. And yeah, that'd be they'd be tough with
it when they're playing without those those big games, that's
for sure.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Oh yeah, definitely, and too right. I mean, you know,
you gotta give credit the penriff in some areas, but
for example, when d w Z well, when he got injured.
It's still coming off. He still tried to stay on
and they just they played to his corner and they
just ran around him, you know the sort of thing.
So they they got to try out of it. I'm
not blaming the w Z. I'm just saying that that
they just exploited. They realized that he was not well.

(12:38):
He was not you know, it wasn't a hundred percent,
so they exploited that. And that's what good regular league
players do, what teams do. So you're gonna give credit
the Pendiff as well for that. But yeah, no, it
wasn't a big game, and it was it was a
hard watch. But you know, like you know, if i'm
I'm gonna be honest with you, and you know, this
is a bit like you were saying about keyboard worries thing.
This isn't that, I mean, as much as as much

(12:59):
as I want to say, like it was a bad game,
like you know, it's not the end of the world, guys,
come on, I mean, this team has been through some
ugly games, a couple of ugly games this season, will ready,
but look what they're you know what they've done, and
you know, on top of that, so I justly reckon
we will bounce back, and it just depends on on
who's who's doing a slom weir and positions doing their

(13:20):
three injuries and stuff. So but you brought up a
point about like a mind blankers say, but let me
just getting depending on to something else. So this was
the first time that we've seen the team without because

(13:40):
he played against the Sharks, he came off injured. This
is but this is the fiftime we've seen him play,
you know, not the team played without Barnett and without Kate, well,
two very experienced players and you know, two leaders as well.
Do you think they're had an effect and impact on
the game on the team for this game, well, you know,
do you think it was just just is the bad game?

Speaker 2 (14:02):
Yeah, very much.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
So.

Speaker 2 (14:03):
You know, there's a lot of young guys in the
team and we probably didn't see you know, they've been
sort of rising and rising, and I think I think
Laban and particularly had a really good game, but the
other actually I think had a few, had a few
you know, forgettable moments, and I think he he sort
of led in the try and like you know, like
he got out jumped by Sorenson for one of his

(14:24):
tries and then he dropped the ball a couple of
times and pretty good at tech musicians. So maybe if
they had to steer the extra bit of leadership there
could have just helped help them. But I just it
just happened sometimes in Rebier League. You know, teams, teams
can't be on their game every day, and I'd rather

(14:44):
than get it, get them, get it out of their
system here as opposed next week, definitely will be welcome
to have your capewell bet next week playing against one
of his his old teams. For Shua Harris, obviously you're
played against his you know, it's cool to see him,
you know, after the game, hiving a few five US
with the boys, him and the oder that obviously got

(15:04):
a really good, really good relationship there. So yeah, maybe
for him, you know, he may have been a bit
you know, I feel like he was a bit quiet
and we didn't kind of see something, you know that
the sort of leadership with as as strong as we've
seen the last couple of weeks that he's been playing,
so and then yeah, the injuries and then just you know,
it still was still you know, they having a Moile

(15:26):
gram to hold for there so there's obviously still a
few outside back injuries there. Dell On even before he
went went out, he doesn't look great, you know, and
we've talked about this season. He hasn't looked great all season.
But yeah, he hit another I thought he hit another
half that he played, you know, he he lit and
there was another the other try was down his win

(15:48):
and he just looked a little bit. He just looks
completely lost on defense. And you know it still still
gets a few meters. I think he only ran for
about fifty meters in the you know, like last year.
You know, last couple of years, he's been running for
a couple hundred ye a game. He's lucky to get,
you know, a only this this this year. So yeah,
I can't really pin down what it was, but just

(16:10):
it was just a really flat performance and years sort
of that, you know, that that feeling we're used to
his Warriors supporters over the years, but not really this season.
You know that they've been so good. So I'm taking
it as, yeah, as a one off, and I'm not Yeah,
as I said before, I'm not gonna react to too
crazily and I'll be happy to see Kate pell back
this weekend.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
Yeah. Nice, Yeah, well, I just remember what was nicely
gonna say now that you mentioned with Toroo Marta coming
on and playing like you know, just was positioned on
the field of wings. Sometimes I honestly thought that I understand,
two players down you have to reach stuff for when
you're gonna have to scramble a little bit. But I
would have thought the most logical thing to do, the

(16:52):
most sensible thing, a wise thing to do, would have
been to send Tomato Martin back into the fullback where
and he knows that he knows the role well, so
it's not like he's the figure. He knows what he's doing,
and then put Chance into center. That's that's what I
thought would have been the most logical thing to do.
But that happened. I know that Chances that's his forward,

(17:12):
that's the spot, and he's and he's been carving up
and he's been wearing all the meters. But I just thought,
in this situation, that would have been the best thing
to do, and it didn't happen. And yeah, were they
ran around our backs and you know you're talking about
while Graham top Quart before, I mean I thought, you know,
he came into the side, and obviously because Rocker Berry
is still injured, and I thought this was an opportunity

(17:33):
for him to shine and to stake his claim, you know,
despite the fact that he's doing the South sixth year,
you know, to stake his claim to be in the
side for the rest of the season because Rockerberry keeps
getting injured. And I don't mean that anything bad against
rock I'm just saying it's just that's just the fact
he just keeps on getting injured, and you know that's
a specialty's position. But I just thought that, I know,

(17:54):
besides the fact that he scored a try, I didn't
think he hit the greatest of games. But you know,
that was his fair game back in first grade. So
you got you're gonna be you're gonna be easy on
him as well. But I don't think he did enough to,
you know, to win his spot back. You know, I
don't think he did enough to win a spot back.
So if someone else was available, like Rocky Berry working
cape well, and then they brought another forward on, you know,
from reserve grade into into the forward pack, I think

(18:16):
that's what you know, we have. Some would go that
way because I don't think his performance warrants him to
return to the first grade side, if that makes sense,
I think that he'd rather go if he's going to
play someone that's sent to putty call capable there and
then put one of the bank put maybe val Manga
into the starting side, and then bring another reserve grader
from pain with someone paying reserve grade into the into

(18:37):
the into the first grade side. So that's why I
think that will happen, because I just didn't think he
had the greatest game. But yeah, I don't want don't
want give him too much track because of his first game,
you know, in a while in first grade. I just
thought it wasn't enough to earn his to have the
right to retain that spot for now. So yeah, yeah,
that's what that's that's what I thought about his game.

(18:57):
But at the same time, not me, not men of
the players in the Warriors had great games on the weekend.
But there's one thing I wanted to ask you before
we move on to your segment of the World Eames, Mate,
and it was you mentioned it a little bit before
about the criticism and Keyboard Warriors and stuff, criticism of
team and players. What are your thoughts on whether it's

(19:18):
fear to be critical of players or a team. You know,
if you're a fan, if you're a passionate fan, do
we know is it okay to be critical is passionate
fans or is there you know? Or is it or
is it not okay? You should just be all positive
and say nice things or you know, is there a
line you stop it? You know, what are your thoughts
on that?

Speaker 2 (19:38):
I mean, I think there's no problem with you know,
like heaven and heaven and opinion, but you don't need
to go spray it all over you know, social media.
Like there's been a few cases recently that real dirty
stuff of you know, guys going into you know, Instagram
private messages and and you know like setting some pretty
really really nicety stuffed players after games that I've got. Yeah,

(20:00):
and there's obviously absolutely no no time for that sort
of stuff even you know, like I think, you know,
like a bit of a bit of healthy discussions. Al
is good, you know, and it gets and and and
you know, these guys are there, you know, getting paid,
a lot of them are getting paid a lot of
money to perform weekend week out, and you know there's

(20:22):
a lot of very I mean, the Warriors in particular
that I mean mostly in our clubs, they've got a
pretty loyal fan base, you know, Like the Warriors are
definitely i think probably one of the more loyal fan
bases at the moment. So there's definitely a place for
you know, you know, like a bit of a bit
of feedback. I'd say more than more than criticism. But yeah,

(20:42):
I mean, it just it just with social media these days,
it just goes it goes too far, you know, and
and it just gets nasty. And you've got to remember
that these guys have got you know, families and your
young families and and and their families. We'll be seeing
some of these comments and all that sort of thing,
So people just need to kind of have a have
a think before they sort of you know, like, yeah,

(21:05):
what would I like, you know, my family's seen this
if someone was commenting and on a public forum about
my work, you know. So I mean, and I'm sure
that you know, these guys they do a lot of
training for it these days, because it's just that's this
is the world that we're living and it's not going
to get any lease digital is that, you know, Like

(21:26):
it's sort of the way it's going it's probably yeah,
so but yeah, I mean I got no time for people, yeah,
really getting into the dms. And I know that, you know,
like Harristavida obviously had that game last year. It's the
radios mister few kicks and and he spoke out about it,
and I think a few of his teammates did as well.
So yeah, i'd say there's a place for it. Yeah,

(21:51):
you know, you just gotta it's going to happen. But
if you're going to do it, just don't be a
don't be an egg.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
You know, yeah, likely, No, let's let's a good way
to put it. And I think I agree with you
because I think there's nothing wrong with a bit of
healthy criticism. You know, there's there's there's a lot, but
there's a line. Like, for example, I think a lot
of Warriors fans crossed the line so much he saw
on the game for example, even on Facebook, people were
just saying, oh, this play is crap and stuff, and
they're using more worth words than that, you know, they

(22:20):
they'll and they'll say this this, and it's like fine, Look,
I mean, let me use an example like dw Z, like,
you know, let me use him as an example, because
the reality is really the fact is he hasn't having
he hasn't he's not having the greatest season. I know,
he's been injured and he's just come back. He'syet a
few games, he's set some tries as well up in
the air. But besides that, he hasn't had the greatest

(22:40):
of seasons in terms of his defensive lips lepses have
been you know, right there for everyone to see. So
he's you know, sort of things that work on. But
we know he's a great player. He's just having a
bit of a form slump. But the way that people
are going at him, so you know, it's just really wrong.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
Us.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
For example, we're saying things like we're usually give you
some healthy criticism about it, saying and then I think
it's fine, there's nothing wrong with it. If you're a
packing a fan, you have the right to be able
to be upset when your team is not doing well
or a player is doing well. But I don't. But
you can't cross that line like you're saying. You can't
just go saying things and just going attacking them stuff
because that's just that's just that's just me. It's nasty.
I mean, even John Johnson, I think, you know, when

(23:17):
he was going through that really bad period as well,
you know, and I think it was last season and stuff.
I remember him coming out saying, you guys are just
you guys, you're the bad I can't remember all the
word he used, but I remember him coming out saying,
because he was seeing the comments about him, and we
all know how much of an amazing player is, he
just had a bit of a form slum, that's all.
But yeah, the people that go at them just yeah,

(23:37):
you get. It's funny how people get triggered pretty easily
these days, right, you know, And we are like you
and myself, I'm talking about you myself here right now.
We are Warriors bands thinking since since ninety five and stuff.
So but we we also had conversations about the game
and the players and stuff, and we give honest feedback.
But we're never attacking them, you know, we never taking

(23:58):
them and stuff like that. So I wanted to ask
you that because it's actually essentially quite a train end
to be honest with you. Even though we're doing this
and so we know we've got a podcast, we do
things on social media. Sometimes I'm reluctant to post some
things on the pages there, because people are just so nasty.
Even when you're trying to do something positive or good
or nice or say something you know, something great, or

(24:19):
even just some healthy criticism, people are just nasty. And
there were two in their responses, and you see the commedy,
and you also when someone does something, you see the
responses as well, and nasty the responsors to the post
or to these comedies, and it's just like a big battle.
So sometimes I've been reluctant to post things because I'm like,
you know, well, what's the point. What's the point? It's
just going to be just what's the point. But you know,

(24:39):
there are there are some pages out there that you
know that don't set off for their stuff. I mean
Zane the Holock. He's he started a new group. I
think it's called the nine ninety five Warrior Hollocks. He
started a new one and it's basically he's basically said
no no bs. This is just for fans just to
say some positives. So there are pages out there, which
is good. It's good to see because you know, he's

(25:00):
a very positive guy and he does a lot of
good work, you know, around the Warrior social media stuff.
So yeah, if you if you're listening, go check out
nine five Warrior Hollocks on Facebook. I think he I'm
sure he'll do a heavy on on Instagram et cetera
as well, but it's a good page to go do.
So just shout out to Zaying and all the stuff
he's doing for shout out to the Hollocks Flurry, all
the work he's doing. But going back to what I

(25:22):
was saying, Yeah, I just think that he should be
able to give healthy, big, big, healthy criticism if the
players are going playing well, but just don't cross that line.
Just don't cross that line. And if someone gives healthy criticism,
don't go and respond with a flipp and nasty comment,
you know, just because they're giving their opinion. You're you know,

(25:43):
if if a's a if it's a genuine healthy comment,
don't go be nasty at them as well. But hey,
what's social media, right, So it's not gonna change. But
that was just wanted to ask you that because I'm
just seeing more and more of it, of like, especially
when we lose.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I means for they're they're they're pission
a bunch. But no, you just gonna and don't get.
Don't get because you know, like when you start going
into people's teams, it's it's really crossing the line and
and and shot out to players when they actually just
like take screenshots are there and and put it back
on the on the people doing that. Yeah, yeah, genuinely

(26:20):
young mean unfortunately. So yeah, but I mean I've worked
on social media and stuff and it's just kind of yeah,
like every time you I'd be thinking about posting something,
but oh, you know, is it worth doing this? And
you know we're gonna get roasted for this and stuff,
So yeah, just be nice people. Yeah, the world, the

(26:42):
world's not in a great place at the moment, so
we can be nice to each other. It really helps.

Speaker 1 (26:48):
Yeah, right too, right, And you know, and you I
think what your words are? You hear some very wise
words there, And so everyone who has been listening, make
sure you take on Richard's work because the very very
very very true when ire in a bad place in
the world at the moment, So a little bit niceness,
so happy, a little bit nice gestures of go the

(27:08):
long way for anyone. But let's get back into the mate.
As we move into the wal Eames. You'll see me mate,
kick us off of that.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
Yeah, sure, than man, yep. So obviously it wasn't the
greatest performance, but we was always you know, as we're
talking about just now, there's always some positivity, there's always
some some lights at the end of the tunnel. So
we'll get our walle ems now our covering the Jelly Eames,
but just for Warriors games, we'll give about our three
two one points for the games. Aaron Clark's currently currently leading,
with Lake Alasima and Luke metcaff following up from behind.

(27:42):
I'll go first. I gave my three points this week
to speaking of Aaron Clark two. Aaron Clark just, I mean, yeah,
it's been some repeat from the last few weeks, man,
but like it just missed the consistent just putting up
some some big numbers. Forty three tackles, hundred and thirty
one run meters, seven tackle breaks, played, sixty six minutes,

(28:04):
so it's playing. I think he played a little bit
more than he usually would with new Cory sort of
going alially and and the way the rotation ended up.
But yeah, yeah, it just it blows my mind. Had
a bit of a signing he's been. I just I
just did not see this coming with you know, losing
you know, lights of Fania Blake and dal Harris, the
way that he's sort of really put his hand up

(28:26):
and and really leading that a fall back, and love
to see it. So he got my three. My two
went to Jacob Laban this week. Actually, you know, obviously
given given HeLa Sema a lot of praise and val
Malga picked up a few points after the Sharks one.
But I thought it was one of the better games
we've seen from Laban. Obviously, scored a try, twelve runs

(28:50):
for about a hundred meters, played for seventy two minutes
and playing some big minutes. Got a real start as well,
and so cool to see that he made the most
of that thirty eight tackles as well, But there was
a he had a few other moments where he's getting
close to the line. He was looking you know, hard
to tackle and yeah, I mean has confidence just like

(29:10):
those other two that the three of them are just
every week can bene better. So as we talked about
last week, the future is bright. So he gets my
two points and Jackson Jackson Ford gets my one. Another
another player who yeah, just missed consistent every week was
definitely yeah a Ford a Ford based volumes for me

(29:30):
this week with three fordskin that. But yeah, he scored
group a lucky try. But you gotta take opportunities in
the in the game. But brought up about forty two tackles,
had about one hundred and twenty running meters played some
big minutes as well. Sixty five minutes from the bench
came and it came in earlier than he would have
expected with new Quarry going down. But just a big

(29:53):
thing for him is, you know, previously he's been pretty
prone to you know, an era or two, but he
seems to have got out of his game. So loved,
loved rustle from him. So he gets my my ones.
It's my myll eames for the week. Who you got
a fresh job?

Speaker 1 (30:09):
Nice? Yeah. I actually found it really difficult to think
of players, to be honest, and I just didn't think
really anyone really had the greatest of games. You know,
there's something that just played, you know, just into the
standard level. But nothing nothing that just nothing spectacular, nothing,
just nothing just stowing was joining from media so by

(30:29):
hind Aaron Clark as well at three just because he
just missed it consistent, just does the same thing stuff.
So he puts in the energy and stuff in and
you know, you've you've said all you you've said it
all there. It was just he's just it's just a
great signing. And he's just every week week, week in
week out, he's just putting in the performances, keeping us
going forward and stuff. And I love, I love the
fact that he's not he looks like one of the

(30:50):
smaller players on the fields of the forward, but he's
always know just what it's a whole hardened to those
runs get through, you know, it doesn't doesn't always break
the line, but he always makes those posts coons meters.
As he always says, it always takes a good you know,
two or three players that can bring him down as well.
So you know, Aaron Clark definitely three points. I had
maa having my two points. I just thought, coming off

(31:11):
the bench for a lot of energy and again one
of the one of the one of the young guns
of the future for the club, and I just thought,
I don't know his stats in front of me, still
using my phone usually got the computer computers out at
the moment, but yeah, I just thought when he came on.
It's a lot of a lot of energy, and yes
we went you know, harder to the tackles as well.

(31:32):
Sometimes it was hard to pick whether it was all
Manga or I've seen them running the boar because they've
got the same haircut. I sometimes couldn't tell which one
who was who, had to go by numbers on their back.
But yeah, bal Manga and I just think that he's
just he's he's brilliant. I think he's growing more and more,
which is why I'm thinking that I said to you before,
like you know, if depending on injuries, he might you know,

(31:53):
be shoved come forward into the starting lineup, depending if
you know, if Kate Well goes into center. So by
Manga for me is yeah, I think he's I think
he's brilliant and I just can't I can't wait to
see him growing further. And my one point is to
as I just thought, I just thought he had a
great game. I mean, like I said, nothing, nothing spectacular.

(32:15):
I just thought he did his job well and you know,
a lot of running meters and I love the step
that he put on in the step that he I
can't remember who he stepped him. I can't remember who
he stepped and he did a missive step. We just
just yeah, he did, he did. He did a an
artist step, but he does. He's done too many players
over the years. Then it just it was good to see.

(32:35):
But I just thought give step points because I just
thought he did his job well, but in the losing course.
So those are my three two ones.

Speaker 2 (32:44):
That's Brair. Yeah, so I think, yeah, Aaron Clark's definitely
just pushing forward and I think he'll he's definitely the
I think he's in a position now where it'll be
hard to had to chase him down as the is
the official what wall eme of twenty twenty twenty four

(33:04):
year two five. But strange of things that happened, you know,
I don't touch what could go down this week with
a season enged injury. So I don't want to say
that cut that out of the podcast.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Oh no, it's this. It was just am still. I'm
still I'm still thinking, like you know, like, yes, it
was a crappy game, but these players are gonna they're
gonna bounce back. You know, we're talking about how hard
it was, but to depict players, but they're gonna bounce peck.
But question I want to ask you another question, and
we actually hadn't had this on the run teammate, but

(33:42):
so this is just putting you on the spot. So
there are rumors that he's gonna Rugby, are looking to
hire Cameron George or George camera camera George game when
Thames bok theme today, I've done it a couple of
times of the last week. I don't know way, but
on the CEO of the Warriors to go to be
the CEO. He's going to Rugby. Have you heard that?
Have you heard the news?

Speaker 2 (34:04):
I didn't know if I heard that. I knew that
Mike Robertson had was was was standing down, but I
hadn't heard that that put a put a star on
his name.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
Yeah. Yeah, Apparently they're keen for for him to bring
what he's done at the Warriors over to me. He's
going to Rugby, so he has one of those assume
you know, obviously you have even seen the news, But
what are your thoughts on that, because just from the
top of you know, just on top of your head,
what are your thoughts on that? Because he's going to
rank be are in a bit of a tricky place,
you know what I mean? They've got this awesome brand

(34:37):
called the All Blacks through a global brand and domestically,
you know, the competition was a lot better this year,
but hasn't been the still the greatest numbers on you know,
stadium attendance, et cetera, hasn't been the greatest stool. Having
worked in rugby myself, you know, I've seen inside out
and side what how in terms of the corport Area'm

(34:59):
talking about the corporate, not the players. With the corporate
where it's it can be pretty missy. It's quite missy.
So they're looking for giving someone like him, who's actually
got a club, who who's taking who have taken New
Zealand by storm, specially in two thousand and three. But
that that band Megan is still going flying high and

(35:19):
you know they're selling out games. They've got good entertainment
of games, and they know what they're doing. So they
want they want what they're bringing, what he's bringing to
the wires over rugby. He's surprised, And what are your thoughts.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
I'm not surprised. You know, it makes it makes a
lot of sense. I think that the problem with rugby
union is the problem with the put rugby union in
the lack of popularity is just that it's it's a
higher than just New Zealand rugby problem, you know, like
I think that it's it's a world rugby problem problem.

(35:53):
It's no one knows the rule, you know. I watch
the game now and you know, I'm just sort of like,
what is that penalty for? You know, like all the
stoppages and play. So I think as a product rugby
is just not it's appealing as I mean, it could
be probably likely a very biased opinion from me, but yeah,
I mean, yeah, why would you not a few news

(36:14):
on rugby at least at least sort of show say
say that you're interested because you know, you watch a
super rugby game on a Friday night and then in
an inn a ral game on Mount Smut Stadium at
the same time, and in the atmosphere couldn't be further
from the truth. You know, even my share old men
some tickets to the Ansic Day game than christ Chi

(36:38):
he's the Knights and he he commented, just you know,
the atmosphere was just so much bigger than any rugby,
you know, any rugby and the Allways game, Like I
can how to even say that all bets games these days,
you know, so it's just a yeah, I think it's
more of a more of a world rugby problems as
as far as New Zealand rugby, Like I think saying that,

(37:01):
like you think it look at Europe and all that.
You know, I think there's there's a lot of teams
over there that in some of those leaders over there,
that sell out stadiums or or close to so so
maybe I mean our winters don't help, you know, they're
pretty cold. It's just easier to just to sit at
home and and watch the game on Telly. But it
seems to be yeah, with the Warriors games that they're

(37:21):
the hollest tickets in town.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
So yeah, well just to like to them, Yeah, well
there's no there's no there's no Sunday games with rugby,
you know, it's just all on Friday or Saturday. And also,
you know, we're going back recent at the European rugby
scene is that they're big club base. They're not like
even though they're not franchise, even though typically now they're
calling themselves clubs rugby clubs, we will know it's like

(37:44):
a regional sort of franchise type thing. And with clubs.
You know, when you play clubs like theyw have, there's
always at rivalry, so the thing and so I think
that's why it's more popular and rugby over there is
like well something to get way popular and selling out.
You see the crowds there, they're passionate stuff. You know,
it's just like a football game over the year. So

(38:04):
so yeah, I think that's what it is. But maybe
quickly ask you this because quickly, quickly, if you were
to see of the Warriors, you've got all the success.
You know, you're seeing your team playing well, the marketing
is going while you're selling out jerseys all the time.
Blah blah blah blah blah. You know, the money is
coming in stuff. And just saying you're going to rugby
offer you a contract that's like a million dollars more

(38:26):
than you're earning. What do you do? Do you want
to stay you stayed the wise and a successful you know,
a successful club, or you got to rub trying to
fix it. What would you do? Would you prefer the
challenge of trying to fix something as big as well?

Speaker 2 (38:41):
To be honestly, bro, I think you take the challenge
on you and I mean CEOs they said they seem
to be wired differently, you know, like like mentally that
they're just you know, they're always moving on, they're always
thinking about their next step and all that. I don't know,
he's been a pretty he's been a pretty busy guy
even while he's been the Warriors. I know he's been

(39:01):
pretty high up with sort of thy racing up in Auckland,
and and I think he's had some other sort of
pretty high up board roles and that sort of thing.
So I mean, yeah, i'd say if they offered him
a good contract and and and the money and and
sort of I suppose gave him that. I said a
lot of it as having the freedom two Yeah, basically

(39:25):
do as you please, bring who you know of often
they bring there. You know, they'll bring me this person
that they'll bring their team in. So I wouldn't be
surprised if the if they gave him a good deal,
if he if he did it, but it'd be a real, real,
real loss for the Warriors. And yeah, hopefully he doesn't
bring bring the whole team across because commercially, the Warriors
in a good place. And it's and and and it's

(39:47):
and it's sort of rolled into the on field performances
with you know, two of the last three years being
two of our best seasons in the club's history. Really yeah, yeah,
yeah this year, but imagine we'll we'll keep it up
and hopefully make close to top four.

Speaker 1 (40:07):
Yep, touch right, yeah, fair enough, awesome. Okay, Look, before
quickly getting into you know, we're about to get into
the Broncos game that's coming up the Saturday. I think
it's a Saturday game. Again, pretty sure it's a Saturday game.
I want to ask you one more question before we
could dive into that, and that is I saw on
Sewan Johnson's news show with the League Lounge, I had

(40:30):
read eating on there, and he asked the question, you know,
I think a fan sent in the Christian you know,
would you would you play for the kiwis you know?
And I think, you know his answer was basically, look,
I would love to play for New South Wales. And
I think that's even you if you want New South
Wales playing growing up there fainly that's what your doing
would be. Well, you know, vice versa Queensland. But I

(40:51):
think that he was I think I think he's open
to the fact he's open to the possibility of making
that switch to the keys, which he he can do
now he's been five years here in his Zealand, he's
here for five years. He's there is a there is
a criteria, and he's in articulately earlier. He's met the criteria.
So he can play for his illa if he wants to,
and he's meant that. Stacey Jones had these conversations with him, though, Mike,

(41:13):
question to you is, will we see waiting in the
keywis jumper or will you know worry daily you know,
give him a chance, you know in game three.

Speaker 2 (41:25):
Oh, I don't think he's important for game three. I
think they'd be. I think he's still not you know,
I think he's still filed down the picking order as well.
Like I feel like that they'd probably go for Carssel
over him as well. So I think more likely kiwis
he's not betting any younger. I think he's about twenty seven,

(41:45):
twenty eight. Maybe I could be I could be wrong where,
but yeah, I feel like and Hooker's a position where
the Kiwis have generally lacked a bit of depth. You know,
obviously we've head to Jerry Marshall King in the last
few years. Who's who's a good player, But I don't

(42:05):
know whether he's at sort of waiting and caliber caliber
of player. You know, like Egan's been one of the form,
if not the form hooker in the comp this year,
so I'll be happy to see him put on the
key with using. I'd be more surprised to see him
play for the Blues at the moment if he has
had his conversations and if he is eligible. I mean,

(42:26):
I'm sure he's got very good rapport with a lot
of the Warriors players who yeah, played for the Kiwi,
so that you know he'd be he'd have a bit
of an in and I'm sure he wouldn't be locked
at as too much of an outsider. So wait, if
you're listening, mate, we'd love to love to see you
on the black the black jersey player in the year

(42:48):
for the Pacific Championship against Tongue and Samuel. This year
should be fun.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
It is, there's still a part of me that wants
them to play. I mean, I don't even support yourself well,
but there's still part of me that wants them, wants
to see him and so well, because you know, you
always want to support the players that you know, that
you that you love, you know, the players that you support.
For example, miss yet even though he was playing for
himself well and I don't support himself well is every
time he was on the head the ball and I

(43:14):
was hoping he was gonna do something good, he needed
a real a great game in game win. So like that,
That's what I mean. Like even though out of suporting
so far there, apparently it still wants wants to see
wading and have the opportunity because just it will just
be good for him and good for the club, you know,
producing more origin players. You forget what I mean. But anyway,
we'll move on from there, and look, we'll grab it

(43:34):
up soon. But before we do, let's go into a
quick preview of the Warriors. This is the Broncos. Did
I get it right? The game? Yeah? Five o'clock five
five pm game? Whereabout is it?

Speaker 2 (43:48):
Thank?

Speaker 1 (43:49):
Of course it is? Of course it is, That's what
I'm saying. Of course it is not as some When
is it? When is the game not at son called.

Speaker 2 (43:57):
Warriors home game? A yeah? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (44:02):
So again when is it? When the when the when
is the game not a sound called? When the Broncos
are playing and you think of him. Guess like no,
so it's quickly gone to we Obviously I don't know
what the team is like because we're recording on a
Monday night, so the team will be named tomorrow six
PMS the other time four pm Australian time. Who what

(44:22):
what changes do you speak to be made in the side?

Speaker 2 (44:27):
I imagine obviously Gellon looks like darn will be out,
so I suspect that to a pickie will come in
or Cossie. But you know, I think to a pickie
will he should be over as he obviously had that
he had not, but I think he was. They were
they didn't think he'd only miss it, you know, a week,
so I think that that was that's a week, because

(44:50):
eleven days will be up, so he will hopefully be free.
If not, yeah, I'll be happy Enougholutely Cossy come in.
Berri's expect to bet this week, Rocko Beer's expected bit
this week, so I imagine he'll come in on there
and then seen to position or or that goes cape. Well,
but a furious for I think there's probably more, you know,

(45:10):
give him another go. Obviously, Metcalf might be out as well.
So if he's out, you know, obviously to Marion Madden
has been there, so they might give him a go,
but it's probably more likely to give Tanna Boyd a shot,
I'd imagine. I mean, I'll be happy. I'll be happy
either way, to be honest, because I love Tomaron Madden.

(45:33):
And we saw what he did last year when he
got given the seven jersey, you know, like he was
caving at it was one of the best happics in
the comp when he was he was playing there, so
we know what he's capable of. But yeah, Tanner Boy's
also been playing some good food year and you sae
Worl's cap and then your core is the other one,
isn't it. So you know, I sus speak get some forward,

(45:55):
probably will well we'll stay and then okay, we'll come couple,
come back into not probably laying back to the to
the beach, to the La Laban and then maybe if
to my mans playing they might have the same same
Hilly ran on to change and then we could have

(46:18):
Tennis down Smith and uh there's another we maybe maybe
tom tom Aunty. I'm just trying to think about an
extra with dimetric metric Sam Heley Laban, Yeah, anytimes sound stuff. Yeah,

(46:39):
probably those four in the interchange. That's my my projections.

Speaker 1 (46:43):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
Nice, Yeah, I think I've kind of cavity everyone. I
didn't write that down, so I just doing it off
my head, so I've probably it's probably clearing emissions. I
apologize if there is, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (46:53):
I'll head well, just just to make it I'm with
you with on the wing out. Even if the WS
wasn't injured, I'll be very tempted to leave him out anyway.
And I said, this is not me being again over one,
nasty or anything. It's just a pure form, nothing more topicky.

(47:13):
If he's if he's free, if he's like Storry not free,
if he's if he's available in terms of you know,
the hit knock, then yes, I think he's just show
anotherwise cossy if Berry comes in or obviously you'll go
straight into center. So I'm graham to for I think
he just steal slowly out because pumping keepers are keep
the other thing to the wrong take well, come back

(47:37):
into the second road, and I think your partner with
Alsina Eric Clark thirteen. Okay, Wady and the props would
be obviously I Reckon Jackson Ford will start and obviously
Fisher Harris. I mean, I would or rather have Neuturity
there starting, but he's obviously you know, I don't think
he's gonna be there. I mean, I mean I've been

(48:00):
hearing that it was just a busted up nos or something.
So I don't know what what the what the story is,
you know, towards an hia or if you bust it
up knows, I don't know. But if New Corries, I mean,
I'm going on the fact, on the thought that maybe
New Cary is gonna be out, so you get some Ford,
Fisher Harris waiting in there starting. My heals would be
Harris to be there. Metcalf. So the one I've heard

(48:25):
is that he's got a bit of a cork, you know,
a bit of a cork, and you know that means
that there's there's something too serious and he could probably
come back. But you know, would you want to give
him another week to rest? Or would you give town
of boys to shots? You know, there's that's the thing.
There's a part of me that wants to give talent
of boys, but not because I'm thinking Metcalf can't do it. No, No, no, no,
no thinking like Metcalf's. You know he's had he's had

(48:46):
a long history of injuries, right, you know he's of
and there's the center back this year has been able
to get through but as a minor injury. But you know,
do we need to give them another week just to
rest it off, just to make sure. So there's there's
there's part of me they would love to have tind
of boys in there just to see what he can do.
And I don't know, I don't think in then there
he can just play around with players like that. But

(49:08):
he's more than capable. We all know he's more than
capable in terms of a playmaker. I've got a great
kicking game. And he's been steering the reserve grade team
around the park really well. They're ten from team by
the way, leaving the letter clearly clear clearly at the
top of here, with a bit of a gap in
the points and the poison frenchial they've got like forty
I think from what I saw last time, and so

(49:30):
you know he's doing he's doing the job there, so
you know he can easily slating there without a problem.
So that would be that would be my third thing
and the bench would be well Manga tns so a Smith.
I'm pretty sure theyll picked m Money Matters Olive and
then they have to bring another forward, wouldn't you Just
not sure who? To be honest, maybe Heally, like you said, Heally,

(49:54):
but maybe they'll go for someone with at bigger. I
just don't know who. Just don't know who picked it
from reserve grade? Who you do that? There's a few here, No,
don't know. Well, sorry, I understand.

Speaker 2 (50:04):
Jaking Laban, give me step one of the young boys.

Speaker 1 (50:11):
Labor is labing onto the Laban, onto the beach. Sorry, yeah,
there's there's one. Yeah, sorry, sorry, So I was doing
like you did. I did it just on the top
of my head. So that would be my that would
be my seventeen. That'll be my seventeen. But let's just
give it just the middle two. Just to talk about
the game itself, Broncos won their game on over the weekend.

(50:33):
I didn't watch the game, so I don't know whether
they played well or not. If the opposition was just creep.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
I don't know, but they played. They played very well
in the second half. Okay, all right, So there they
were doing. I think it was twenty twenty six twelve
at halftime, and they came back and won. Maybe that
was twenty twenty two twelve at halftime and they came
back and one thirty four twenty eight. Yes, so they

(51:00):
didn't look great in the first half, but once they
put everything together it started to really gel. Paytonhars was amazing,
Mace Welsh had some absolutely beautiful touches. So they definitely
show what they're what they capable love. So yeah, it's
hard to sort of know. They're fifth on the letter now,
but there's six points behind us in the letter. It's
hard to know whether they're whether they're back or not.

(51:23):
But I think that this game will be a big,
big test for both teams, you know, because because the
Broncos will want to, you know, get those consecutive wins
and show that they can do that. And then the
Warriors obviously have been a really good about to BAC team,
so and the Warriors will be well aware of what
the sort of the strike power that the Broncos have
in their backline. It's you know, it's scaping to be

(51:45):
a really great game.

Speaker 1 (51:46):
Oericon awesome, not fair enough, and I'm still confident that
we can do get the job done. I actually feel
more confident. This is funny, funny thing. I feel more
confident that when we when the Warriors play away from home,
I actually feel more confident been doing the job away
from home. Rather it mounts Matt at the moment. So
that's that's odd because it hasn't been like there in

(52:08):
the past. But like whenever they play away from home
in Sydney or you know, some corps somewhere else, I
just have I just feel more confident. I don't know why,
but I just do. I just do. So I still
have the confidence the boys are gonna bounce back and
putting a good show against the Broncos, who you haven't
been the greatest season, but you said the fifth That
shows you how tight the conference with him had the
greatest season at all. They're in sixth place now, so

(52:32):
it just shows you. You know, if you can't really
you can't really fall asleep on any team in the competition, right,
people can just bounce back really quickly. So yeah, well,
I'm still thinking, still predicting a good win for us.

Speaker 2 (52:47):
So we've got a pretty good recent record against the
Broncos as well. I think we've won the last two,
maybe even three along with that last and obviously good
We're gonna go Recordank as well. I think, you know
recently obviously one of the last two majoric round games there.
And I think we beat them when we paid them

(53:07):
last year. But maybe maybe we only paid them once
last year. I don't know. I don't have the steps
in front of me, but yeah, I think we just
need to, yeah, make sure that we shut down Recee Walsh.
Don't need to Tony Steaks, you know, get his head
up too much. Shut down I mean paying Heasman. He
was east today. He was just memmoth. I think he

(53:29):
ran for he was on limited minutes because of origin,
but he still ran for two hundred and twenty two
hundred and thirty meters or something like that, had about
had about ninety post content meters. Like he was just
just an absoute menace up the middle. So well, the
boys will you know, it'll be a challenge for some
of the young fellas, but you know, with the likes
of Fisher, Heisty Checks and Ford there, hopefully Cape welcome

(53:51):
come in and help help sort of tiden that up. Rockaberry,
you know, Rockabery being there will probably help as well.
He always if he if he plays, he's always it's
it's a lot of defensively as well.

Speaker 1 (54:02):
So nice, nice, We don't we haven't seen the teams yet,
so we'll leave it at there for now. We're leaving
at there for now. We've gonna given our lineups given
now you know, fourtths round the game, just a brief
forts round the game. But let's just go on to
tips and then we'll wrap things up and then we'll
look we'll look forward to the Saturday game where I
believe it was. But you'll take us with the tips.

Speaker 2 (54:23):
Yeah, man, Thursday night Fish game, Panthers fist Bulldogs, Pans
coming off good win against the Wars, and we'll expect
to have the Origin players back, Bulldogs coming off a buyer.
Can you can the Panthers pull off a naps against
the tournament leaders.

Speaker 1 (54:39):
I'm actually going to give it to the Panthers just
because it's while teams are great, you know, when it's
good to have a rest sometimes you at some moments
it can be a momentum killer sometimes and we saw
that without our own side. So I'm actually gonna give
it to the pendof the only other thing is that
the pinion of against the Warriors with you know, without
the Origin Stars, you know, because just be I mean,

(55:01):
you would think they're coming then coming in would actually
make them better. But you know, maybe it's not because
most of the season they paid bad for them there.
So I'm going to give it to the Panthers. Give
the Panthers then make it easier for us to be
close to that, you know, and keep us in the
top four more easier.

Speaker 2 (55:16):
Yeah, I'll go to the Bulldogs just to mix it
up in heavy belief in the in the top Dogs.
Seagulls Tigers up next. I like the like the Tigers
away from home here, I think they were pretty hard
done by. It's not hard done by, but they looked
really good at Raiders, so happy to back them against
the Seles team be unconvincing. Yeah, then we've got Knights

(55:41):
Raiders up. I think we know how that one's going.

Speaker 1 (55:46):
The Rais went playing them, but yeah, a suspicion.

Speaker 2 (55:49):
Not backing the Knights Broncos Wires is do you still
think that the Wires can do it over in.

Speaker 1 (55:55):
Sant cort Definitely?

Speaker 2 (55:57):
Yeah, I'm with the Wires. Dragon's Eels up next game.
Of the round. Some would say, like like mysel from
the Eels with our Moses and Brand yesterday, So I'll
go with the Eels.

Speaker 1 (56:12):
I'll just Els. They surprised at won, but they didn't,
so yeah, Heels for me.

Speaker 2 (56:18):
Dolphins, Rabbits. Dolphins coming off a lost to the Knights,
and the Rabbits coming off a halt back and lost
to the Storm and Golden Point. It's hard my name
because the Dolphins at home. They should they have been
putting on some big scores. But yeah, Rebberts have got
Reberts have got some games in them, even though they're

(56:39):
like sixteenths on the latter.

Speaker 1 (56:41):
I'll go Reverts.

Speaker 2 (56:43):
Okay, I'll go Dolphins because I've got too many on
the same side. Storm Sharks up Nicks. Sharks beat them
a few weeks ago, but have been sliding down since then.

Speaker 1 (56:56):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (56:56):
Storm, Yeah, Storm at home in the afternoon game as well. Yeah,
I had to beg against in Titans Cowboys to out
of form Queensland teams to finish it off. I can't
bet the Cowboys at the moment, so I'm gonna go Titans.

Speaker 1 (57:13):
I was gonna say Titans as well, but I'll go Cowboys.
Just three different nice bro.

Speaker 2 (57:20):
That's it for another round tips, all right, Richard.

Speaker 1 (57:23):
Yeah, well, I mean I don't think anyone, you know,
not just ask. I think everyone accrossible hasn't been doing
roll with tips this year because there's been so many upsets.
You know, it's just yeah, gone up and down being
like a roller for tips. But anyway, usually I usually
begged myself tips. But you know, this hasn't been a
good season for tips.

Speaker 2 (57:40):
And I mean I got two last week and you
got I think you got four, so literally a good
week for you. Yeah, I had a shocker. I got
the Raiders, and I got this, Yeah, tipped against the Storm,
got the Broncos, and then I tipped the Cowboys and
the titlants here, so no god to know one.

Speaker 1 (58:02):
Yeah yeah, and well you know you're not the only
one made. I'm pretty sure I've had a few two
two's and through the rounds so far. So but anyway, look,
we'll wrap it up from there once again, guys, thanks
everyone for listening and tuning in, and as we're really
thankful and grateful for the support. Every week we say this,
but because of the truth, it's growing and continues to grow.
The content we're putting out. We'll get a lot of support,

(58:23):
a lot of comments, a lot of likes, and new followers, subscribers.
So if you're listening out there you haven't subscribed, hit
that button, as Richard always says, you know you want
to hit that button, subscribe button, hit the followers button,
like button, give us a comment. Well we'll respond because
we like. That's what we like to do as well.
We'd like to respond. So yeah, and hopefully next week
I'll have my computer back and I'll be doing this

(58:44):
on my phone, so we have to use this microphone here.
And also Richard should be wearing a maroon colored jersey
with our new CFL sack sign, so you know, tuned
in for that one. But for now, there it is,
there it is. Have a good night everyone, and abdois
there's always loop.

Speaker 2 (59:01):
We've got the face we are about that. We all go.

Speaker 1 (59:11):
We all think we areno
