While the holiday season is generally a joyous time of the year, I know that for far too many of us it can also be an occasion marked by pain, loneliness, and sorrow, as we are reminded of loved ones who are no longer with us or past holiday traumas or tragedies that we feel forced to relive year after year. But God doesn’t want us to just survive, He wants us to learn to thrive in any season of our life.
